Do I collect anything? I wanted to talk NCAA football still. Okay. Noise is good. Okay. But collections. Let me actually think about that. You know what? I. I have a lot of friends. I'm sorry. Also, my lights keep flickering and I don't know, I think I'm over. I'm overextending my power grid in this apartment. I mean, truthfully, my plants. I collect a lot of plants. I collect matches in lighters. I think I have, like, a pyrotechnic streak in me that has thankfully been unexplored. I just like memorabilia in. In some sake. So I have a tray of matches over the years in my bathroom on my. Sitting atop my toilet, and then, like, commemorable, like those giant glass mugs from my college that happens to now just be filled with matches. Plants. I don't know if that's a collection or more of a hobby or, you know, just like a borderline obsession. I've got, like, I don't know, like, 15 plants at the moment. But it's a fun thing. I like to see something grow, like, to see something change over time, feel like I'm contributing to something other than myself within my apartment. What else do I collect? It's like knickknacks. And I've always had, like, a eye for, like, figurines and small things. Did I go to any of the j. No, I was out of town during the JG Jay Z shows. Unfortunately, not for, like, anything fun. I had, like, a family obligation I had to go to. But no, I. But I was texting and talked to a lot of people that were there. But from my understanding, and I want to talk about this Anyway, what was it? Night one. Either of these are flipped or this is the run of show. Night one was Reasonable Doubt, Night two was Blueprint. And then Night three was like a mix of like greatest hits and so on. I'm quite familiar with touring in Run of Show. I would assume the tour that he's about to go on is going to be very close. More similar to Night three where you're getting a taste of his whole catalog there and. But from what I saw, I mean, it looked incredible. Even with like the 4 hour delay from night 3. I know some people that actually were there and left. I know some people that were there and stayed. Those that stayed were ecstatic. It was a Sunday going into a Monday. So I do understand for those that left because getting from the Bronx back to your apartment at that hour, I think the concert started around like one o'. Clock. It was brutal, but it looked incredible. Blue. Playing the piano was amazing. I love that she did the intro to Feeling it on the Keys, which is one of my favorite songs. It was really cool to see her. Having Beyonce do your fill vocals and backing vocals, I mean, that's the biggest flex of all time. Who else came out? Clips came out. I went to Clips show in Brooklyn when they were touring. Incredible show. Anytime you can see them live, even as a surprise, is. Is delightful. There they are. Amazing. Refresh my memory. I don't know if you have any other notes or anybody has any thoughts on it, but I'm definitely open to talking about that show. It really seemed incredible. Would have loved to have gone, obviously. That's also no. No secret. Time and time again, like, I think hip hop in particular has a trouble. We're seeing the first turnover really of a generation in the art form. And so few artists at that age. None. None other. None other. Or at that level, but certainly at that age are aging like as gracefully as. As Jay Z. I'm highly critical of Eminem. I think it's completely warranted. I think, I think Eminem is the perfect example of somebody that has just aged like dog. His music sucks. His whole swag is ass. Like he just hasn't aged well, you know, he hasn't been cool to me at least like in the eyes of hip hop in like 20 years. Whatever. Kanye, I mean, Kanye's not even of that. Of that generation. So I guess I'll keep him out of this. But clips being similar in that age bracket, they're really great and they're aging incredibly. Wayne. Yeah, I agree. Wayne too. Wayne is aging like Dog. Literally. And I mean literally. And what do you call it, like, on. On stage, his performances, his music hasn't gotten better. Um, he's just. Wayne has never really been somebody he. I think Wayne has, unlike Jay Z. I mean, it's really not fair to compare the two, but, like, for the sake of longevity and building and growing as a person while your music grows at the same time, Jay's done a great job of aging. We know everybody's. We adore the vulnerability and step into manhood that 444 was. Whereas, like, Magna Carta Holy Grail was like a flex of how rich he was. And it really felt like kind of. It had some bangers, don't get me wrong. But it was like a little too, like, I'm the. Like, talk to me. Nice. I'm Jay. And then I think he learned from that mistake and. And gave us 444 where he couldn't ignore the demons and skeletons in his closet and couldn't, you know, buy a Picasso and pretend like shit is sweet when we know what's going on within the walls of your home. Right. But meanwhile, Lil Wayne, what is going on with him? We know nothing of his life. His music lyrically hasn't evolved. And it's no secret that his live shows are quite brutal as well. Funny enough, my cousin just went to a wedding that Lil Wayne was at. He sent me a photo of him at this wedding, which is very funny. I would not expect them to be at a wedding together, which, by the way, it was in New Hampshire. It wasn't like an LA wedding or a New York wedding. This was a small wedding in New Hampshire. So wondering what Wayne was doing there. Nas is holding up, I will say, like, my bias. I've never really been a Nas guy, but, yes, Nas is, and it was so cool to see them together, share the stage together during the show. And that's what hip hop should be. I'm a big fan of. You know, you have these beefs, you have these moments, but you come together eventually in adulthood as grown men, and you share these moments with each other because you helped each other, whether good or bad, intertwined throughout the years, have put each other in this position together. So it's really cool to see Jay invite Nas up to perform with him during that. During that show. I was a big fan of that. I love seeing stuff like that. Yeah, I've been immersing myself in film and more music and reading. I listen to a shit ton of Miles Davis today. That was fun. They put out like this. Remastered. I'll show you guys. It's actually still up on my phone right now. Miles Davis, 56, remastered. So it's just like a collection of all these songs from the 50s of his that have been remastered, which is sick. And this is, I mean, it's long as hell. It's, it's, it's nearly three hours of music. 29 songs. I've just been ripping this all day. It's been great. Did you see Trump refusing to lose it? Yeah, yeah, I did. I obviously been very invested in the World Cup Final. And yeah, I saw, I was, I was curious to see, especially with the, the question was, did you see Trump leave the. Refuse to leave the stage? I mean, who, who what, what. What more? I mean, the man, the thing about Trump is he's always going to be himself and the man will never, you know, if he sees a swell of people in a, in a lot of attention in the spotlight, no matter the moment, he's going to try to insert himself in it. So if one thing he's consistent. It was very on brand with who he is as a person. And it comes to no surprise that even, like, why was he up there shaking hands and, and dishing out medals? Like, I thought that was a little odd, but you know, he's in bed buddy, buddy with the FIFA president who's also corrupt piece of. So again, like, nothing he does surprise me. But yes, I did see like some players trying to like, gesture him off the deus and his like, refusal to, to step out of frame when they were doing like the trophy lift in the, in the team cheers. The tradition that happens with that trophy every four years. I saw one. Was it Spanish player, I believe, or it wasn't. I don't know if it was Argentina, but one player did refuse to shake his hand. There's like a clip going around of like, you mean like pump faking that he wasn't going to go for the hand and then actually end up doing it because Trump doubled back on the handshake. All that stuff aside, like, look like, I, I think it's really important when like players like, you mean Lamina, like, you mean Lamont, whatever, Jesus Christ, use their platform to. You know, these guys have hundreds of millions, 50 plus million followers on, on Instagram alone. And you mean, you know, posted himself holding a Palestinian flag after one of their wins. So I think it's great when players are vocal and using their platform, whether or not there's formalities and politics of it. And yes, on like A grand stage such as that, it would be nice to be like, fuck you. I'm not shaking your hand, but sometimes you just get pushed through the, the kennel sort of speak, so to speak, and you just end up having to do something that you obviously don't agree with outwardly, politically, but just in the moment or just going through the motions. Yes, I am happy Argentina lost. I, I was, I was rooting for, for Spain of the two, which I could say for obvious reasons. But yeah, glad it went that way. And see they're looking to expand it next time, which is crazy. And even the politics of how they're playing the next World cup, like, I think, let me look up the host cities because the politics behind this are insane. And I, I can't speak too much on. I know a little bit to some extent. So the host countries are Spain, Portugal and Morocco. So Spain, Portugal in North Africa and then Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay. So I think, like, there's something along the terms of, like the opening ceremony is going to be in Paraguay or one of these Spanish countries. So therefore no games will be played there, just the opening ceremonies there. But I guess technically that counts as participating as a host country. It's some like, convoluted, corrupt, obviously. But what, what that does is because they will now be considered as a host country, they are like, then bumped to the bottom of the list to become the host again. So again, politics playing a heavy hand in the money that's being moved during the World Cup. Argentina player. Romero. Romero. I mean, yeah, I mean, the, the whole hand over your face thing that the. Has been implemented throughout this World cup is, is literally because of an Argentinian player calling, you know, I don't know who it was. It was a French player or. And just any other player. You call them like, extremely racist slurs that don't have any space, time or space to be repeated, nor should they. But I mean, at this point it's like, you know, they are who they are. And you know, when you have Netanyahu heading a soccer ball and waving the flag of the country, like, I was at a watch party and some people were like, in, why don't we like Argentina? What's the situation there? And people are like, oh, like, you know, they, some people went down the historical route. They're like, all right, well, they eradicated like, they removed their black population and whitewashed the country. They intentionally wanted to lighten up their genetic pool, which is true. And they have a bunch of other things that they named. And then I Just, I just. While that person was doing all that, I just showed them the photo of like Netanyahu and the president of Argentina and him like actively saying he's rooting for Argentina. I was like, look, what happened back then is true and terrible, but let's just talk about what happened today. Like, we can stick on today. They still suck. So, yeah, them. Glad it went that way. Evening. Buyer's remorse. Buy a new car. I'll be moving in. Let's get started.

oh, Jesus. I just saw Nolan Wells. Yeah, I mean, look, man, I don't. I'm not equipped to talk about stuff like that nor to admittedly because of how sad that case is. I really haven't been following that closely. Not out of lack of care, just out of. It's just. It's a heavy situation. For those that aren't familiar, Nolan Wells was the. The young high schooler, senior, like 18 year old, spring break, bunch of white kids in. Was it Oklahoma? Somewhere down south? Of course it was. You know, it was down south, some lake with some friends and parting with a bunch of white people. And he. His body washed up on shore or was found in the water that following day. Tragic story. Awful. And then, you know, immediate race bait. Race warranted or not, I don't know. I mean it. Obviously the situation is highly suspicious for a kid of that age to. They said from the last reports that I saw, and this was again out of the loop, this is a while ago. He left his phone with his friends, which is very unusual for a student, a kid of that age. I mean, immediately after Spain won the final. You mean while he's like hugging and like jumping with the team. Literally had his cell phone, if you can go back, look at those clips. Minutes after the game ended, he was literally holding his cell phone in his hand as he was celebrating with the team. Like these, These kids are addicted to their phones. And I'm not saying this like as an old man thing. I am addicted to my phone as well. But I just know how that goes. And no kid is like willing. I was in Mississippi. Thank you for the correction. And no kid is like, willingly just like giving up their phone. Especially in like a social setting like that. It just seems very odd. That part, that part in itself seems odd. And then there was the, the deleting of Facebook pages, Instagram pages, like scrubbing of socials from the parents and the children that were there that were. At the scene of this whole incident. Yeah, I don't know. I, I, I feel so out of, out of the loop on this, but I mean, rest in peace to that poor man. I, I really hope that this is something because everything these days seemed, I saw there was a potential fight that may have happened between him and some, some friends that could have led to this. He's last seen photographing with like these three white guys on the boat that were his friends. I don't, I don't know where that case is at or where their investigation is at that point. But like, you know, speaking from not experience, but speaking from historical, historical context, do I necessarily trust the Mississippi police force? No. Do I think that justice will be served? No. Unless there's the right amount of pressure applied. But with this administration, I don't feel like that's going to be the case because the administration at hand can really push things in one direction or the other. Like, you know, it just doesn't, it just doesn't seem right and there's no winners in this situation. I can just speaking trying to put myself in both perspectives. If those boys did nothing and they are innocent, meaning the white guys here, then they are, you know, being accused of harming and killing a very good friend of theirs and having to live with this publicly for the rest of their lives and being marketed and pushed as like these racists. That's terrible. I don't know how you know, you can go on as that, especially that young age, especially when you're primed to going onto a college campus. But if they did do it, then, you know them like, I mean, yeah, they conspired and canoodled to do this then, then them and they get, they should get everything that, you know, the rightful punishment that comes with that. And yeah, it should bring them a lot of hurt and pain and like mental anguish for the rest of their lives. It's really shitty. It's terrible. But it does feel like every summer some shit like this happens. Like this feels like stories like this feel very 1960s, you know, like this doesn't seem like this is something that should be happening in 2026. It just seems odd and I think because it's happening in the modern era under this political climate that I, I really hate. Like, the immediate crowd swell to turn everything into this shitstorm. There's other examples of this as well. There was one, there was some kid that son died a white, A white guy. His son died at the hands of like a black guy. And the father was. Kudos. Shout out to the dad. White dad said he's pissed off at how Fox News has taken this, hijacked his son's death and made it a political statement about racism and like being anti black. And he was pissed off by how this has been handled publicly. And I'm sure there's this. You know, the same thing is happening here. See, they said the family get one hour with him to do whatever they want. Look, if they did it, like, I love, you know, like that video that goes viral every once in a while. Like that dude that. It's a terrible story. His daughter was sexually assaulted by a. Some, some just a guy, like a, like a Ted Bundy type dude. And he waited outside the courtroom in like a phone booth. And he had like the coat on and like his arm and his jacket and like a low hat. And when, like when the perp walked by him in the courtroom, he just opens up the jack and just shoots him. I'm like, yeah, like, look, you reap what you sell. Like, actions have consequences. And if you, if you, if you harm my, my son or daughter, you got a dad and a family to deal with. And, and if that's how, if they're willing to potentially throw away their future in the rest of their life to get vengeance, seek vengeance, and on the sake of their child, then so be it. I don't really fault parents that do that shit. But again, like, if the family, if these kids didn't do anything, don't put them in the room with them. But if they did do something, put them in the room with them. Let them go. Let them, Let them fight it out. Go ahead. Okay, what else is going on? LeBron? Queen Carvania stood haloed by the morning sun. An army hung on her every word.

You know what I'm gonna do because I want to keep this chat up here. I'm gonna switch to my office because it's Actually easier if I put you on this second screen. But while I'm doing that, I can talk LeBron. Where's LeBron going? I see all, like, the. The reports today are, like, pretty Philly heavy, which I'm not gonna lie. I'm not buying into the Philly thing at all, to be honest. I don't think Philly is a good fit. LeBron's life is on the West Coast. I think he has the perfect situation if he wanted to. To go back and forth from LA and Golden State. So I think Golden State would be the best fit. He'd play with his boy Curry, his golf partner, Draymond Green. He could literally fly out there, you know, for practices and games and sleep back home and be home in his bed in la. You know, like, the convenience of his life out there just makes more sense. Let's not forget Bronnie is still in la. Like, if this isn't, like, you know, I know poor Bronnie seems to be like, a pawn in all of this. Bronnie does have a career, and he is a man of his own. And Braun probably still wants to be within proximity to his son, who's also in the NBA, So I don't see why he would run away from Bronnie. And truthfully, I just think at this point, it's what the fans want. I think, at least from my perspective, I'm not looking for LeBron to prove anything. I'm not looking for LeBron to go back to Cleveland and win them another ring. I'm not looking for him to, like, break new ground in Philly. He doesn't have to prove. Do what you want to do. And at this point, if I'm him, I'm, you know, a year or two away from retiring. I want to go play with my friends. Let me go play with my friends. I'm gonna go to Golden State, where they have an established dynamic. He likes Steve Kerr. They have the best point guard of all time. And Steph Curry, they have a. A physical brute force that is Draymond Green that would be protecting him at all costs. Like, it just seems. It just seems to me like that's the right fit for what he's looking for. And I know that they're saying they're like. He's, like, waiting for. I guess the. The latest report was he was waiting for the World cup to end to make this decision, which, I mean, whatever, sure. But I just think. I just think that that stat play makes the most sense. Obviously, I haven't brought Up Cleveland yet. He could go back to Cleveland. I never think. I never would count Cleveland out for LeBron. Obviously family there and I'm sure he has a bunch of property there as well. But I just, I just if I'm him, I'm like, dude, let me stay in California. Go play with my boys a little further up north. Okay, let's see. And I do think like it would give. Yes, I'm reading the comments here. It would give the fans what they want. Again, like my standard and expectations for LeBron are what they used to be. Have your sunset ending. Go play with your boys. Like just enjoy it, man. Like go, go up there. And seeing him stay in California I think would be good, good for basketball. Seeing him stay on the Western Conference would be, I think, good for basketball as well. It's a shame. I saw the. The not ashamed to be honest, because I don't think I would want. I wouldn't want him on the Knicks. Not I don't think. But I did see his comments about like the Knicks winning the championship like affected his beliefs. Not beliefs like him. Him ranking which teams he'd want to play for. Which honestly good. I don't think also at this point, like I, I don't think bronze worth like blowing up your team for or like, you know, making major changes to your franchise. So if other teams are willing to do that, good. I don't think that's a good play or move but. And so I'm kind of happy we're preserving our unit and not about to do some, some drastic changes for. For somebody that's going to be gone in a matter of, you know, a couple years. Question have I listened to new Steve Lacy album? I haven't, but I am excited. I. I really like Steve Lacy. I saw a couple friends of mine, music homies, posting his stuff on a couple songs on their story. I. I will be checking it out. I. I like see Lacey a lot. So yes, I'll probably give that a listen tomorrow. Seems like a good day to check that out. I'm working on a few things I feel like that would be good, like productive music. It's solid. Cool. Yeah, let me, let me check real quick. I'll check out the track list and the, the song titles here. I just feel like I haven't even been in like my like not. I mean, I guess he's more alternative than R B. Oh, I like this though. 10 records, 40 minutes off the bat. Big fan. I am fully bought in on concise projects. Keep things tight like Develop a concept, nail it, and bring it home. These features look incredible. Sza on the second record, is it cool? You got Pure Color featuring Erykah Badu, Never Madam, more Badoo vocals, and then Cecily Believe on Love Sex Drug Bomb, which is actually one of the songs that one of my friends posted on their story. So I'm sure it's great with some of the people saying Drake's three albums came and went. This is so counter. This is the, the, the, the inverse. The problem with putting out too much music is you're putting yourself, I would say, more at risk. There's multiple strategies why one artist would put out more music versus a lot. I think Drake is in a position. He can do it. Everyone's, obviously. But the consequences of putting out a lot of music is people can feel like you flood the market, you have your moment, but then it also leaves room for it to pass as well. And when it passes, it feels more like an L because of how big of a tsunami, like how cataclysmic the event of the release itself was to where we are today. Do I think they came and went? I said from like day two, like a day or two after the release, I don't care for Khabibti or Maid of Honor. I. I listen to Iceman, honestly, mostly at the gym from, you know, doing something physical. I don't know where they stand on the charts at this moment. I know, like, of those records, Iceman, there were some songs on Iceman that were charting more than others. I will say, like, my personal taste is never really those type of songs. I. I was listening to Make Them Pay yesterday. Like, that's more my Drake. The what the Make Them series on Iceman, which is basically just another remix of the Timestamp records. That's more my personal taste. So to say they came and went, one could debate. I don't. I don't think that they are saturating like the radio waves now that I listen to radio, but I'm not hearing them here in New York as much as one would expect, maybe from other Drake projects. I will say, like, like her loss dominated that year. And I know that was a collaborative effort, but really that's a Drake album that, that I remember. Like, again, this is pre beef though. But like, that's what I would expect from a Drake album, honestly, as critical. Like, I didn't really care so much for sexy songs for you, but that, you know, Somebody Loves Me song that was a hit, you know, that lasted. I feel like that was A slow grow pause. But that like really built over time and really became like a big record. But there's some cool records on this album. I like Iceman. Like, it's, it's whatever. Like, I think it sucks because, like, I don't. I try. I don't. Like, I think my relationship with Drake changed a bit because of all this stuff. Not that I don't. He's still Drake, he's still the man. But like, I'm not. Not that I ever was like a fanboy. That's like a crazy thing to put on myself. But I just see things a little differently now. You know what I mean? Would I consider myself having a good R B bag? I. Yeah, I. I mean, I, I listen to R B of like the hip hop and R B. I'm probably listening to like 70, 30 r b to hip hop. I. I'm a big, big R B guy for sure. But I mean, jazz is my. This is like. I'm gonna show you the type of stuff, type stuff I really have been on lately because it's random and it's like people that I just happen to come across. I don't again, go into a lot of films and movies. I'm the guy in the theater, Shazaming Records, finding these like old artists and then just like burning through their discography. Like, I love doing stuff like that.

Latte for Keenan.

It's Kenan Thompson. Buy your car online on autotrader. Really? So like, this dude? This album came out in 2025. I don't even know. I've never heard of this guy. No clue who this dude is. That. It's called the Chet Baker reimagined EP by Orontology. This is. I have been listening to this non stop. And the one song in particular, it's. It's like a. It's a 9 minute 42 second song. I'm gonna type it in here. It's called Love for Sale featuring Ian Ewing. And what I love about this is, it's live. I. I have a severe addiction to live recorded music. Studio albums are cool. I'll throw on if there's a live version. I'm only listening to A live version. And this is a. It's. It's amazing. Even if you're not a jazz person. Like, it's just fun to put on. Like, if you're just, like, at home and you don't want to, like, consume, you know what. You know what it's good for. Like, if you're really not used to listening to music like this, which I honestly don't expect many people too, because it is, like, a little left to center. Like, listen to this. Like, when you're. When it's like, in the morning and it's like. Instead of putting on, like, that, like, you know, smooth R B or like a. Or like a rap album, put on this. It's great commute music. If you live in a city, if you're taking the train or walking, even if you're driving, it's great commute music. And it's like 10 minutes. You don't even have to think about it. Just let it go. By the time you know it, you'll beat your destination. Just let it run. Or maybe I missed something here. Let me read these. Avengers trailer. I did not see that. Admittedly, though, I'm not going front. I can't even, like, I'm not a Avengers. That stuff doesn't do it for me. The only, like, superhero series that I with is Batman, and that. Well, does James Bond count? He's not like a superhero, but I love the James Bond films. God, Casino Royale is, like, the perfect, perfect, perfect movie. I also just found out. I don't know how I'm late to this, but Woody Allen directed a Casino Royale, and he's also in one that I have to watch. What am I cooking these days? James Bond isn't. Damn. All right, I'll get into food in a second. But, like, yeah, superheroes. I'm a. A huge Batman. But I feel like that's mostly due in part to. To Christopher Nolan and the performance. I mean, the actors smoked it. It was more like in. I'm into Batman because of the film, not so much because of the superhero, if that makes sense. Those are just perfect films. What am I cooking these days? I cooked today. I cooked. I've actually been. So. I was talking to my mom about this. Like, I. It's been a. A long summer of. Of. Of. Of traveling and eating well and drinking a lot of which has really thrown off my workout routine, admittedly. So I'm trying to, like, get back in, like, a healthy routine and, like, not. Not drink this. This past weekend, I was really great. I Only had, like, two drinks. Very proud of myself. Feel great, Slept great. Didn't wake up hungover at all. Woke up early. Like, you know, got some sun sweat on a weekend. That's a good feeling. But that being said, I've been cooking, too, because it's just better to. Better financially and also just better to know exactly what I'm consuming and, you know, being able to account for calories and things of that nature. So I. Yeah, I've really. Yeah, I've been in these streets. I've been active. It's been an active summer. I'm not even gonna lie. And I already know what's about to happen when, like, Cole's in town for a week. So I'm trying to, like, just be, like, super healthy while I can. Today I cooked. I did, like, a ground. What I have for lunch. I had, like, ground turkey. I diced some onions and peppers and some jalapeno, fresh jalapeno. And then had a. Like, a paprika powder with, like, a little bit of rice and then a couple other seasoning toppings. And then, like, with a side of. What did I have on the side? Like, sauteed spinach. I've been sauteing all my vegetables and leafy greens because of the diarrhea thing going around. Luckily, did not. I'm good. I. I went to Mexico for a few weeks. Did not. Did not get caught up with Montezuma's revenge. Like, look, I might just have, like, an iron stomach, but I'm luckily have not been my brains out. So. And then tonight for dinner, I just had. Right before I jumped on here, I had. I made myself some salmon that I had ginger. I put fresh ginger in the pan, sauteed with that and had a little soy sauce. I went a little Asian with it with soy sauce on it, and then had, like, some ginger powder as well on top of that. And then I had. In the oven, I baked. I like, did a. Some asparagus, because I want. I like crispy asparagus. So I did asparagus, a little salt and pepper, and then you bake that, and then you broil it. You do the heat from up top, give it a little crisp on the top. And then I did a little more rice for dinner too. So getting those macros, getting those good fats, the omega. Omega threes, as they say. I'm really just trying to be the only dude out here not taking Peptides. It's insane how many homies and people I know that take that. I see it As a cop out. And I see, like, we don't really know what the going on with that stuff. So I'm just, like, trying to be healthy and just maintain what I can without taking any shortcuts. Yeah, I play basketball tomorrow. Tomorrow's Tuesday. I'll be hooping, but I might get a little lift in, in the morning just to stay in my routine. Duke Ellington's a beast. Take the A train is fantastic. It's also really cool. Yeah, like, you know, take the A train. Obviously named after the A train here in New York. It's dope to, like, hear records from these guys that were inspired by this city. If you live in New York, like, inspired by the city that I call home. It's really cool to, like, have those experiences that they may have had at one point in their life and dedicated a record or an album to. It's very. It's pretty cool. So I'm a big fan of, like, even film. I love seeing films that are shot in New York and just experiencing places that, you know, I frequent. What would you say? Something you've been addicted to lately? I thought this was going in such a different direction. And then I read the second half of that home base. Baba Yaga, great name. Said, what's something you've been addicted to lately? For some reason, white tube socks have been my jam. I can't stop wearing them with everything. Queen Carvania stood haloed by the morning sun. An army hung on her every word.

I mean, I got on right now, like, don't look at my legs. Dress socks. These are my house shoes. Dress socks. Dress. I mean, I've been. I'd finally. I've been hearing for years, dress socks from Uniqlo are incredible. I finally bought a bunch and I love them. I'll stay on feet. Like no. Like no Tarantino. I love loafers. I am addicted to my. In particular, penny loafers. I have a pair in black that I've been traveling everywhere with. Like, I just had to take a quick trip last week. I don't even pack sneakers anymore. I just wear loafers because they're so broken in now. So I'll wear them to the airport because they're comfortable. They slide off during the flight. And yes, I Wear socks with loafers. That's why I have all these dress socks now. And they dress well with everything. I'm not really the type of guy that dresses up for much. I'm very much like a plain T shirt and some like, I put more, I pay more attention, I put more effort into my pants. But even them, they're like more casual, like looser fitting pants. But a nice loafer. Like, I love the sag of a nice pantry that like lays nicely on top of a loafer. Those are my new obsession. Not new. I mean, it's been, I've been wearing these for years now, but it has not subsided whatsoever. I'm super, super into loafers. I would love to get a couple more pairs. To be honest. I need a horsebit pair. Outside of that, let me try to think of other things that I'm really into lately that I can't stop obsessing over. What else I'm trying to think, like, what do I. Oh, oh, oh. I mean, it's gotten bad. Like the. I'm gonna get it. It's chapstick. This stuff I cannot get enough of. Like specifically this aquaphor. And I went through all, like, I went through the stick, the tube one, like all these different versions of it. And they say like, you get addicted to it because you, the more you use it, the more you feel like you need it because your lips look chapped. You'll notice the difference between it regular and whatever. Don't care. Addicted. I. I'm just gonna put this on now, but I don't want to do this on camera because that's kind of crazy. Hold on. I love this stuff and I don't even know if it's really doing shit. It's just something I like. Oh, third thing. Third and final thing that I'm into now that you got me going. I helped a friend move some stuff, like to a storage unit like a few months ago. And as a gift, he does like a lot of PR for perfume companies and specifically like scents and men's sense and. And as a thank you, he gave me like a few bottles of some really nice stuff. I've never in my life been a perfume. I mean, a cologne guy, perfume, whatever you want to call it. And for shits. I just started like wearing it, like doing the wrist, the smelling it, and I'm like, oh, it's nice. So I just started treating myself to wearing that on like, you know, started as like a special occasion thing, but now it's kind of like a daily Wear just feels nice. It's just nice to have on the way out. Have gotten a couple comments on it, which is nice, but, like, do not really do it for that at all. It's just more like a me thing. I just think it smells really nice and it's nice to smell good. Not that I smelled bad before, but it's just nice to have like, this little, you know, a little extra something. Something going on. So those. Those would be my three. My loafers. Damn. That really describes my. Like, that really describes, like, my daily wear and my daily, like, carry loafers daily. Aquaphor in my pocket daily. And now this perfume, like, cologne daily. So, yeah, shout out to your white tube socks. Where do you get them from, though? I'm curious. I do not have Taylor Farm bag lettuce. Nah, I get a. Unless, I mean, I don't know what they carry. I shop at Trader Joe's, but I've been buying just loose, like, raw spinach that I. But I have not had, like, the salad. Like, I've been sauteing everything. Everything is. It has been put in a pan with a little bit of olive oil and like, minced garlic or something like that. Like, I'm not really playing with the raw veggies right now. B2C. Blizzy ass. What about sneaker loafers? Not for me. Short answer. I. I can't. Like, I'm. I'm a traditionalist with a lot of things, and it's like, if you're going to do it, you got to do it the right way. Like, my penny loafers have pennies in them. Like, there are things that I. I've. I feel like I've always been into traditional culture things and like, preserving historic things within fashion art, you know, fucking watches things of that nature. So, like, my. I was always obsessed with, like, my grandfather's generation of stuff because it just seemed more authentic and more real and made with care and like, there's reasoning behind these things. So penny loafers, in the day, you'd have the penny in there because if you needed to make an emergency call, you could take the penny out of your shoe, go to a payphone and make a call. Whereas now that serves no purpose. But there's still a tradition to that. So I like to have those traditions live on. I. I can't do the sneaker look. It just seems too. And it's not. I'm not on people that wear them. But like, for me personally, it just seems like a shortcut or like a little like, cheap or tacky. Not tacky. Maybe not tacky, but it just doesn't. It's like, if you're gonna wear a loafer, wear a loafer. That's kind of how I look at it. I don't wear shorts. I don't know why. Well, I know partially because, like, I had a knee surgery years ago, Like, a long time ago. And I'm, like, very. My knee is still, like, pretty sensitive. So, like, even when I play basketball, I'll put. I'll hoop in. In, like, light pants with a little knee sleeve on, because it just. It gives me, like, mental peace of mind. So, like, having my knee exposed just feels wrong and weird. Also, like, another thing, like, I. With, like, the sneaker loafers shorts thing, for me, it's like the same category of, like. I just. I know shorts are acceptable, and I know they're fine. I just can't take a man seriously if you're wearing shorts. And that's just a me thing. Call it, you know, whatever type of phobia you want to call it. I don't know. I just can't do it. It's just not for me. You know what's crazy? I wore pants at a beach when I went to Barcelona. Like, not jeans, not jeans, but like, these kind of pants, like this. They're, like, swishy, like Adidas ones. But then this. I went, like, another time, though, and I actually did wear shorts. I wore shorts, but it's just. I don't know. I just don't like being in shorts. It's just not for me. But, like, for the beach thing, I went from the crib, got on a bike, went to the beach. Beach for like, an hour. I really wasn't even there that long. I was also alone. Like, it wasn't like a beach day. And then, like, got back on a bike, went back to the crib, showered, put on pants to then go out and have the rest of my day. I'm not doing, like, a day in shorts. That's crazy. Pulling up to the. To the Barcelona beach and wranglers is sick. Am I a thrift shopper? I don't. You know, I don't think I have the patience to be a thrift shopper. I'm like, I like to get my. My clothing in person. Like, that's definitely my preferred method of shopping. But I. I will have. I will like. I shop like. Like an advanced old head. Like, I will go online to a store, find the items that I want, save the links to those items, or just Take screenshots of them on my phone and then go to the store and be like, hey, I need these two pants in this shirt, in this size. And they will grab them. Because I like to feel things like I feel the quality. You know, I've been modeling for years. Like I know like how things are supposed to fit on me because I've been like thrusted into this whole industry before I didn't really give a. But now I just really notice everything. So I really want to like, I don't like ordering. So if I order something I'm not returning it. It's just mine forever. I don't think I've ever returned anything. So I never ordered clothes. I like to go. Especially living in New York, the luxury of having all these stores here. I will go in, try on items. But shopping for me is like a three minute experience. It's like, I mean I'm in. I hear the three things that I want. Go to the changing room, try them on. Either confirm that they're dope and I'm aware, take them or you know, decide from there. This is for me, this isn't for me. I'll take two. Leave one. Whatever it is, I just need to. I just feel like I need to have like time with it and feel the quality of something before I buy it. But. But nothing against thrift shopping, I just don't have the patience for it. But I think thrift shops is dope for me. Like I think it's more about like I can't go into a store store without knowing. Like I don't like the spontaneity of not knowing what I'm going in for. It's like I like to just go in, be like purposeful, get in, get what I want and get out. But there are some dope, dope thrift finds for sure that like younger me in college I still have some from college I thrifted that I with. How are these new group of friends I met? This is funny. I met through a mutual friend who no longer lives in the city. Put me on a text with a friend of hers who works in music. Cool dude. And we met, watched a couple World cup games and just like really became cool quite fast. He introduced me to some of his friends. They're all music industry people. Like they where the guys like started 10k projects. If you're not familiar, like this is Lucy and Grange's son Elliot. It, I mean like I'm with you. It sounds exhausting. And when my friend put me in that Text group. I was like, I don't. I don't really do, Like, I'm not, like, you know, I'm not like, the. The most warm and loving person, like, to meet up with somebody, like, don't make me do this. And I. I mean, she just said, look, don't be an. And put me in the group. And we. It was like, a nice place to meet because we just met at a bar and watched soccer. And I had another friend there. A friend of mine had come. This girl that I'm really cool with who was, like, not a buffer, but, like, which is also there. So it's nice to have like, a third person to just like, bounce conversation off of. And she. She's really cool. She's easy to. She fit right in. But, yeah, like, been watching World cup with him and his friends and. And they're all. You know, we have so many mutuals. They're all music people, but they all play Call of Duty, so I'm. I'm just debating getting cod. Yes, I agree. Meeting new friends at this big age is exhausting. It's certainly not something that I would do otherwise, to be honest. This is. This is. This is rare air for me. This isn't something I'm rushing to do at any given time, Honestly. I'm just trying to continue to. To solo travel. That's how much I like to be alone is. I'll just do it here or in another country. So, yes. Good people, though. It's nice to. It's nice to know there's still good people out there. There's plenty. I'm also not trying to close myself off from anything that would be good for me. I do have, like. Like, what's the point of meeting great people if they're trying to invite you into their circle and push you into their. Not push you, but, like, you know, invite you into their people that they love, you know, I can't always be an. Haven't met new friend. Yeah, I mean, like, to be honest, like, I. The. The people that I hang out with the most, I've met people since then. Since then. But, like, the people I hang out with most I met during the pandemic. So these are friendships now that have been, you know, like, in my sixth year with these guys and some girls. So, yeah, of course I've met people along the way. But, like, my core is. Very much. My core here in New York is. Yeah, could spend years. So I'm very comfortable around these people, which is nice. A man of comfort. That's why I wear swishy pants and loafers. I'm telling me you dress up a nice pair of swishy pants. The loafers, I'm telling you, man, it just, it, it just elevates the outfit. But they can't be like Lululemon, like calf hugging, thigh hugging, like ABC pants. You need like, loose pants pants because they need to hang over the loafer. If you have a. I was about to make the craziest hand motion. If you have a tight ankle, you need to have, like, you can't do loafers. Also. Having a tight ankle in 2026, to me is crazy. Like, you can't have that elastic ankle, like, cutting off circulation. Like you're about to step into a hazmat suit. You can't do that. That's crazy. You need a loose ankle and a loafer. That is my fashion tip. I'm so excited to play basketball tomorrow. Yeah. I'm working on this project right now with a friend that I can't. I literally. Damn, I can't even talk about it. I can say this, though. Like, I'm gonna be put in social situations that I would otherwise actively avoid. But I'm exploring this new project that I need to be forward facing and on camera again. But it's tough for me to mentally get to that point because internally I've been like, thinking about how do I want to present myself again on camera, how much of myself do I want to give, how do I want to be perceived? And, you know, from past experiences, seeing it go well and then seeing things, you know, take a downturn. It's such a fickle. Career path and things can change in the blink of an eye. So I am through, like, just trying to be guarded. But also, I still have to. But I also don't want to change who I am and be myself. I can say this isn't giving anything away, but it, you know, it's. I'm sure you'll see at some point, but it's, it's tough, like, welcoming that energy back into my life, back into, like, my personal space, being public again. But yeah, like, the, the real me, I can be fun and outgoing, especially if I'm, like, on stage or like, doing something like performing. But I, I'm very comfortable being alone. I'm. I've made my home cozy because I could just get lost in here with my candles, my music and a book or, you know, what have you. I could do a movie day and not even blink an eye or think about it. But I Know that. And I didn't live in a city like New York to chase comfort. Pushing yourself. This isn't even New York specific, but pushing yourself. And, like, I had a track coach when I was doing track in high school, and I didn't. I didn't do a lot of sprints. I was a jumper, but I did sprints in high school when. When we needed some points, I'd run, like, the open 200 or, like the four by two. And so doing block training, you know, you're down on your. Your knee, your hands, knees, and you're. You're thrusted forward, and you're really leaning over that line in the blocks to. To start the race. And my coach, I had a great high school sprint coach. She. She was amazing. She would say, you know, are. Are you comfortable in those blocks? And I'm like, yeah, I feel fine. This is my first time getting the blocks. She was like, you're doing it wrong. And I was like, what are you talking about? Like, I feel fine. She's like, if you're comfortable, you're not doing. You're. You're missing the point of this whole exercise. So then she got in the blocks, showed me her form, which was drastically different than mine, and then got me back down on the blocks, like, move position my body, which is more like leaning forward and like, over the block. Really, like, putting pressure on those pads of your fingers and really to the point of, like, breaking. Kind of just like, hold that position as long as you can. We're not even doing the, like, the gun snap. We're just gonna hold you there. She's like, that's the discomfort you need for success. Like this. It's not this. It's a fleeting second that you'll be in the blocks for, what, three and a half, four seconds at most. It's not a matter of finding a spot that's comfortable for you. It's a matter of perfecting the best way to do it. And it's crazy to think, like, at, like, 15, 16, like, when I'm being told this, that I would, like, apply that to my life right now, like, as a professional adult. But it's. It's that moment of discomfort where you're bettering yourself. And I. And I. I think, like, I yearn for that in my personal life, in my career, and in my creative life. So I. I don't seek comfort. I feel like I'm very comfortable in uncomfortable situations. And a lot of that's due in part to my competing days from. From sports and even now, it's still a thing with my sport. When I play basketball, like, I, I don't know how to play. I don't know how to half ass. Like, I'm not like, go through the motions guy. Like, I very, I put it all out there and it translates. It's easier to see in, in physical activity, like lifting too. I very much, like, I need to send it. I need to like, feel like I am giving it my all. Like, I, I saw a great line that I like to, to that I'm reminded of when I, when I work out that, you know, a lot of people look at exercise and lifting in particular cardio too is like making up for. You're punishing yourself for the drinks you had the previous weekend or the, the desserts you may have had on a night out. And you're looking to those calorie deficiencies, trying to like, I need to burn this amount to make up for that cookie that I have that I usually wouldn't have on a Tuesday. And you're, you're punishing yourself. You're looking, as you're looking at, your frame of, of understanding of the workout is more of a punishment where it should be the inverse of that. You should have a paradigm shift, meaning the workout is in fact a celebration of what your body is capable of doing. So, and I've been, you know, pitching myself on this mantra for, for quite a while where it's like, I'm, I'm thrilled that I can do, you know, this amount of dips or lift this amount of weight. And I'm proud of myself for what my body's able to accomplish, no matter, you know, the state that I may have been in the night before or how I'm feeling during this particular lift or, you know, and it's not always this trajectory. It's not always an uptick. Sometimes you feel down and you're, you know, I'm coming off some, some time away from lifting. So I'm, I know my weights and my PRs. My weight threshold isn't as great as it used to be, but I'm still thrilled to see what my body is capable of doing even after this amount of time off. And it's so good for my mental and it's obviously great for my physical health, but it's, it's something that should be looked at as a, as a celebration rather than a punishment for those that are consistently working out, that are watching this or listening to this, or people that are nervous about getting on that journey because there's nothing harder than starting. If you're like, damn, I don't feel good by myself. I'm already at this point in my life. Why not double down and just like so in my. You know what? However you see yourself, don't look at it as the workout being the punishment. Looking at that as a start of like, this is what my body's capable of and I can't wait to see what it can do when I really get in this and like, push myself. Like, that's. That's really the best way to. To look at it. And this isn't like some manosphere. This is just like being on your. Your. Your. Your betterment of your. Of a pursuit of a. The best version of yourself. And to me, a lot of that starts with exerting myself physically and I become a morning workout person, which I used to not be. I hope I do more. I. I honestly, like, this is fun. I think live streams for me are a better format than like, me calling like ISO and just trying to think of topics and things to talk about. Like, this feels. If you can't tell, I'm. I'm much more rel. Loose and pause and like, relax. Like, I'm. I'm much more conversational in podcasting and like live streaming or whatever you want to call it. Like, for me, it should be a, like, open back and forth dialogue. And I know it's like a chat versus me speaking at the chat, but I. This to me is just more comfortable and seems more natural. Whereas when I'm recording alone, it's more me guessing about what you want me to talk about or want to hear. What's the next level for my pot? I don't know. Like, I don't know what leveling up for this looks like for me. I. I think I. This is more me. This is more me. Like the. But the thing is, like, I'm not going to be like the irl, like, stream all day kind of guy for my sanity. I could. I know I can't do that. But what I can do and what I, What I should commit to and. And put the time and effort into is. Is doing more of these and giving people this opportunity to, you know, speak freely and, you know, I mean, regardless, even if you, you know, know me or listen to me because of the old, the old show, like, we can. This doesn't even have to be exclusively music or like, exclusively. You know, what you knew me as, as like the clown or funny fallout guy from the other. You can just invite People here, if you have, like, questions. I love general questions. And, you know, doing this whole, like, bit of. Not that I have anything really figured out, but this like, bit of like, slice of life advice and, and hearing other people's journeys and stories, to me, that's. I'm a big fan of community and connectivity. So build. Building. That is something that I. I'm happy to do. I don't know. Dude, you're saying. What's this joke? What? I don't have your answer. What do you. What do you need from me? What? I'm acknowledging it. Yes. Tell the joke. Did it go to the Knicks parade? What are. Hold on, let's do this first. What? Two things you won't find in Iraq, sir. I don't. What. What are the. What's the answer? While he's typing that answer, Fritz Alcindor Jr. I got. I landed back from Mexico the day before the Knicks parade. So, yeah, I was there and it was unbelievable. I went with some friends and I had some great photos and videos from it. We got there super early. Unfortunately, they had already closed the barricades, like when we got there. But it didn't stop us from like, having like, free range of like most of it because the barricades almost so small because they put it in such thin streets. So we were freely walking all over, like downtown Battery park area. It was sick. I mean, I've never seen that many people in Nick's gear in one place outside of the Garden. My friends and I got unbelievably drunk. We went to this bar because we were in the mix and knew that they weren't letting anybody else in. We actually went to a bar like right outside the barricades. And this is before we were there so early that. This is before everybody was aware that the barricades were shut down. So people were still pouring in downtown past us. But we at this point had already had like three tables at this really cool little bar. And we had like about 15 friends. So we were ordering drinks from the bar. They had the live stream of the parade on two TVs and sound, which was great. But we were at this bar like even an hour and a half before the parade started. So like 8:30 in the morning, and we were just drinking, you know, having, you know, some aperol spritzes, whatever, and then people started pouring in the bar. Bar got slammed. A couple friends and I went to Bodega, had the little. The little. What do you call it, like, over the shoulder bag and just like loaded up on beers and just brought them back to the bar. The bar. The bartender didn't care. Like, they were like, what? It's like it was a day of, like, whatever goes, goes. We were just ripping up, ripping out beers from the bag and just having the greatest day. That day was incredible. I was so happy to be home for that. Yeah, a memorable one for sure. And excited to do it again maybe. Hey, why not? Why not run it back? Very proud of my team. Very happy to call this city home. And I love how everybody's been handling themselves since the win. Though the. They're still making about the family unit, the team unit, avoiding controversy. Like, the. The whole pop out at fanatics fest with Brunson and Halbert was so cool. Cat doing the choke slams in the ring. Like, it's just fun to see them take, like, this victory lap and really, really enjoy this moment and feel the weight pause of like, what they brought to this city. Like, you know, they. It's been such a fun, active summer in New York. Like seeing Brunson and Mikel Bridges on the Jumbotron at. During the World cup at. At. What the hell's the name of the stadium? The Meadowlands. And hearing the crowd pop for them, like, that's so cool. Like, it's. It's just. They deserve it. And it's nice that it's been happening to this extent for everybody on that team. I'm sad we lost Mitch to the Celtics of all teams. Honestly, could not have wished. Could not have hoped for any other. Any other program but that one. But, you know, we still. One of the biggest rebounds of the of in Nick's history was that rebound. He got to seal the final game. So forever in Nick. Once a Nick, always a Nick. Is drinking pulp. Okay, so screw the joke. I agree. I don't know why he didn't finish the joke. Is drinking pulp. Sus, I'm on an island stance. While my friends say it's not hip hop, I'm not gonna lie, dude. I. I will. I'll just, like, preemptively pause whatever I'm about to say. I will eat anything. Like, I have no dietary restrictions. I. I like all levels of spice texture. Those things are fine with me. When it comes to food, I never liked orange juice of pulp. And also, like, how much pulp Are you, like, a freaky, like, heavy on the pulp guy or like, light pulp? Because I know they do amounts. If you're gonna do amounts, I would go on light, lighter side. But I think you're. It's You're a freak. Bull. If you drink a heavy pulp, bro, that's. That's sick. To bust out like a mouthful, like pulp grit at like 8am before work is. That's nasty work. I wouldn't like. You gotta use a toothpick for your drink. That's crazy. I can't get behind that. I'm not gonna say it's not hip hop or not, but, like, I just think it's like, wow, that you want to like, invite that much like, distraction in your mouth. Pause. Oh, I'm not saying Pope's gay. I'm not. That's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying, like, drink it. Like, I don't. Like, the last thing I want in my drink is like, like, like stuff, you know, Like, I don't want stuff in my drink. Like, even with a shake. Like, if I'm drinking a shake and something isn't blended all the way down, I'm like, what is that? Like, not fully blended fruit that I just, you know, drank or why am I chewing? I'm having a drink. That's how I feel about pulp. It's just. It's too much. And I. The, the tea thing, it's not right. I don't know what's going on with this dude in this joke. I'm just gonna ignore it though. Damn sirens, they coming. But hey, man, look, if pulp's your thing, how much pulp do you take, though? Pause. Crazy. But like, what's the. Are you a lot? A little bit. Like, what's the. The threshold. My wife said she was going to strain the drink. That's crazy. Having to see, like, look, when I was younger, I'm not gonna lie, because I remember when I was younger, my mom would buy. I don't know who in our family, like, pulp. Maybe my dad. I feel like he wouldn't be a Pulp guy though, because my dad's pretty picky. But my mom would buy pulp sometimes. I don't know if it was on accident, but we'd have it and I would strain it. But like, as an adult, like, saying that out loud, the thought of having to strain my drink, like, my. My morning beverage is crazy to me. Me. Like, I can't even. That's nuts. Like, no, I'm just gonna drink regular ass orange juice, light to normal. I'll give you light, bro. I'm not trying to kick your back in. I'll give you light. Light is cool. That's fine. I'm okay with that. While we're on the topics of, like, drinks and, like, healthy drinks. I, again, not a picky person. I really like mostly everything. I hate cucumber water. Cucumbers. Cucumber water sucks. I hate, like, when you go to, like, a spa or, like, a nice hotel lobby and, you know, you're just off a flight or you just got a massage and you're, like, you know, dehydrated and, like, sore and, like, you need to drink water. Like, you know, rehydrate, rehydrate, rehydrate. Which I'm always down to do, obviously. I hydrate a lot. I'm drinking out this fire extinguisher. I. I hate, like, don't make your only option ass. Cucumber water. I hate cucumber water. It just tastes like air water. It's. It tastes like a melted airhead. It's just gross. It's just like, ambiguous water. It's nasty. I'd rather have OJ with light pulp than cucumber water. That sucks. I've never been a fan of that nonsense. It's like fake water Cava. I saw. Yeah, cava does it. I just don't rock with it, bro. I'm not even, like, in cocktails. Like, I'm. I'm a drinker. I'm a booze boy. Even cucumber cocktails I'll avoid. I don't like cucumber in a drink. I don't know what it is. I. With cucumbers, though. Like, a actual cucumber. Like a real cucumber out of garden. Pickles. I love pickles. Like, those are tight, like, you know. But a. A mystery water cucumber beverage. Now I'm straight. No, thank you. You can keep that. I'm sure it's refreshing. Lemon. I'll do lemon. I know that's the alternative is lemon. I'm a lemon guy. Give me that one. I got lemon in here. I like lemon a lot. The more I think about it, the more pulp. Sounds crazy to me though, bro. I'm not gonna lie. Like, you gotta, like, if you get pulp in your mouth after, like, you finish the drink, then you gotta, like, rinse out your mouth. It just seems like a lot of steps. V8. V8's crazy. VA is also not healthy. Like, that was like that, that you tried to pass away. That's some. That's a trash ass drink. That's like, as a kid, when there was like, this fake, like, the first wave of, like, fake health wave was like the V8 era, where it was like, like, I mean, VA has like crazy amounts of sugar and like, like fruit concentrate, veggie concentrate, whatever. It was like VA was never good for you. It's just that was purely marketing. That stuff is ass. Let me see. Because, like, not that it's like inherently bad for you. Like it has like vitamins and in it. But it's like not. It's not good. Like, it's not like, look, all these like substitutes and like all this, that like all these like big beverage and like, you know, if all these suppliers are making water is the one. Like just drink water. You know, if you need to put a little electrolytes in there. Whatever you need. Which I should do because I've been cramping a lot lately. I feel like from like working out and like over exerting myself. But like, Va, like all this. That stuff is ass, bro. Yeah, it's not good for you. It's not. It's not that I will say I'm not. Like, the soda is not really for me, but I. With. If I'm gonna drink a soda. I really like Dr. Pepper. I don't know if Dr. Pepper is popular or cool, but I rock with the pep. Put a little pep in my step, my man. Yeah, straight up. Yeah. Union called Union Jackson, my man Fizz. Drinking Fritz. Drinking ketchup. Yeah, it's like watered down boiled ass ketchup. It is basically ketchup. It's like. It's like drinking tomato soup. You might as well put basil in that and like sprinkle some cheese on it. Dip some bread in it. Va's ass. That's tomato joint. Yeah, it's tomato juice. That shit's like margarita base, not margarita, but that's like. What are those things called? Bloody Mary base. Like, it's not a real drink. It's a mixer. I really like. I don't know if you guys have had poppies. It's like the alternative. Like, it's like a healthy alternative to soda. It's a diuretic. But the. I only have one flavor that I'm obsessed with. I like. It's strawberry lemonade. Fire. I'm obsessed with strawberry. I've had a couple other flavors, I'm not gonna lie. But like, those are just like. Like when they're available, like if I'm in a space that has them, like, oh, different flavor. I'll try it. But if I'm buying one strawberry lemonade. That's my. I buy, I bought. I have one in my fridge right now. I should have had that with dinner. I'LL save that for tomorrow. Would I see Odyssey in 40x. A thousand percent. I saw it in 70 millimeter IMAX, which is a banger. I loved it. I mean, I'm. I. I tweeted this. I believe this. Not even, like, no jokes. I think twice. Christopher Nolan should be tasked with preserving, by making these films is what I mean, by preserving and creating archival documentation of these great Greek tragedies, of these great Greek poems. I think this is, like, important historical work that he's doing, and it should be treated as such, funded as such, and put in the director of his caliber to create. So in terms of the Odyssey, the. The Iliad would be next, which would be awesome. I would love to see that, round out the story of Homer's Odyssey. But, yeah, like, yes, these are films, but these are so much more than movies. These are. These are. It's history and it's. And it's. It's. It's bringing these ancient texts to the medium of today and putting them out in their best version and in their best form form. And I really believe that Christopher Nolan is the person and the only person that should be trusted with these things. Overnight oats is the next thing I'm gonna try. I'm not gonna lie, Fritz. I love overnight oats. There's a brand called Mush that makes good ones. If you don't want to make them from home, buy that brand. There's a. There's a bunch of them, honestly. But I know mush is a good one. I used to get those quite a bit with you. Overnight. They're all. They're healthy too, and. And like, I have made them at home. They're super easy to make. Like, it's literally just like pouring that oat milk in, like, a mason jar with the oats in there, letting them soak. Let the oats do their thing and let nature take its course. And then you can, like, throw berries in in the morning and, like, shaved coconut or whatever you want to spice it up, throw some honey in there to make it sweet. Overnight oats are incredible. They're super easy to make. I've seen people make, like, frozen night oats, like, frozen balls paws that you can like. You know, they're like more grab and go kind of thing. But a big fan of overnight oats are super healthy for you too. Have I ever seen any creepy at a modeling gig? Not during. It's like a very. How do I explain this? The energy on set. Maybe it's just because, like, the type of shoots that I'm doing. No, not even. I just feel like it's just the nature of the industry and being in a room with, it's like throwing a bunch of people in a room. And yes, like some of those people in the room are models. So there's like a lot of attractive people in there, but also like people that are doing like the costume design and like the producers. It's like a very woman dominated field. So being a man in those spaces, like it is like a very sexually charged energy. And I'm not misreading this by the way, because there have been cases where like I've met up with people after a shoot and like have had drinks with them and like hung out with them. So like I'm not misreading these situations but nothing creepy like nothing that's been like what the was that? Or like crossed the line by any stretch of the imagination. Everything is like welcomed. And honestly the sets are a lot of fun. I've had a lot of fun doing these shoots and meeting really cool creative people. And it's fun to like pretend to be, you know, a doctor for a day or like whatever the shoot may be, you know, it's kind of fun to be like put in a costume or something that I normally wouldn't wear. Do I, do I miss the Rory and mall show now? 215 Jeff. Edie. Whatever. Sorry, I'm just not going to read all that. In short, no, I mean it's been what, like what, two years now? Like I, to say, I don't think about it. It's so like in my periphery. Look what I am thankful for. Like I've been putting together these decks for certain things that I'm looking to work on and one of them was like a deck about my, my experience there and my time during what I, what I helped build and what I really contributed to. And that was the first time I like thought about the pod in depth since leaving and to put everything on it on a dock and see how much I contributed and what I, what I was able to accomplish over there was, was pretty cool. So. Oh. But outside of that. No, I don't, I don't think about, I don't. I'm so tapped out from that community which started as like a peace of mind thing. And then I just think it kind of just. That just became the new normal. Yeah, I don't, I, I don't think about that really at all. Oh, any current reads? Yeah. Let me grab my book. So as I was listening to Miles Davis Which I mentioned on the other stream, but as I was listening to Miles Davis today, this is the book that I was reading. Jazz is great to read to because there's no lyrics and I don't get distracted. Anthony Kiedis lead singer of the Red Hot Chili PEPPERS It's a book that came out years ago. It's not new, but I had a friend of mine that got it for me and I'm finally got to it and I've been really. I'm not the fastest reader. I like to take my time, but I'm pretty cr. I'm cruising through this. I'm on a little. Almost halfway on page 163. I read about like 40 pages today. It's great. It's super. I mean, it's, it's, it's, it's grippy from the start. He's, you know, talking about doing heroin and like banging his dad's girlfriend in like, you know, page 10. So it's, it's, it's very thrilling and fun read. And it's like one of those groups like the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's like, you know of them, you've heard of them, like, you know that they're this whole thing. But it's like, how much of them do you really, you know, what do you really know about the people that make up this group? Or how they matter, their history. And even if you're not like a fan or even really listen to their music much, it's just a fun read because you hear about these guys that like, really made a name for themselves and grew up like in the 70s and just like, how different life in the world was. Not even just within the entertainment industry, just like living in general in this similar format. Lenny Kravitz's book Let Love Rule is also a really great read. I read that. I got that when it came out a couple of years ago. I want to say that was also great. But another guy that you hear about, and it's just like a legend by name, but how much do you really know about him? And he had a pretty unique upbringing. Pretty cool book as well, I think. Next on my list because the, the Tony, the Anthony Bourdain film is coming out, I think at the end of the summer. His books, I never read his books. His books are next for me, so I'm gonna take on those next, which is going to be really exciting. So if anybody needs a book rec, Someone said slip. Damn, I can't. What is that? Okay, I'm not Even gonna try Slizzy Sleepy set. Am I using now? So this is. I went to the Macy's Day parade, fourth of July fireworks show. My friend. Sleepy. Thank you. Sleepy ass. If this is. My friend is a producer for this show. It was actually really sick. It was my first time doing one of these, you know, like tele. Televised, live produced shows generally stay away from large crowds and these type of events. But this was so much fun. By far the best view I was at. It's at. It was at Pier 17 on the roof. So you had the bridge, both bridges on either side of us shooting off fireworks. But it's honestly like the perfect size bookmark for this, for this book. So I'm just using it. Yeah. Great show. Great. A lot of fun. Why doesn't anyone ever talk about how hard podcasting is? Because I feel like they quit before they have those opportunities to talk about it. You know, Like, I think people will quietly close the door before addressing how difficult this is. It's a pain in the ass. It's not easy. I love it. I love connecting with people and I love communities. So I think that's why I do it. But it's not easy. It is exhausting. Oh, thank. Hey, Butter. What's good, man? I haven't seen you in a minute. Appreciate you, dog. Yeah, I mean it. There's nothing sexy in talking about failure. I think it's important that people share moments of vulnerability. It's like, you know, when someone goes through a dark patch and then like, you know, the book gets written when they make it out the other side because, you know, it's. It's easy to talk about it once it's over, but few people care to be vulnerable and express those. The hardship when they're in it. Which, you know, the basis of the beginning of my show was doing that. The first episode that I got rightfully roasted for was like me just trying to be vulnerable. Not trying to be, but being vulnerable and trying to articulate those thoughts. So, yeah, I mean, it's not easy doing podcasting. It's not. It's not easy really doing much of anything. Yeah, I'm. I'm a people person. I just. I just. I don't know, bro. Sometimes I'm just not motivated. Like, you know, I'm just like, like, ah. There's some things, bro. I don't know. Maybe I'm just born in the wrong era. Yeah. In union. Like that's, you know, like everybody's motivation is different. You said here. I only reason I don't stop is because of all the money I dumped into it. Look, like, if that's the reason to keep going, then then that's great. Like, I don't think everybody needs to meet in the middle of, like, having the same. You know, that's why I always get, like, kind of weirded out and, like, tripped up by, like, those pseudo, like, what do you call them? Like, motivational content creators. It's like, well, you're assuming the motivation to do things is universal when in fact, like, it varies based on who you're talking to. So, like, yeah, like, if you're making a financial investment into something and, like, you, you know, you're putting time and effort into it and, like, yeah, like, I'm not gonna dump all my money into this and then just, like, give up. Like, I need to see this through. So that's your approach to it then? Like, yeah, it, like, that's. That's all you need to keep pushing. Yes, I would say. I'm with you. Motivation is the hardest thing, especially doing this solo. I know. It's like, it's, like, crazy to, like, people, like, bro, you've been podcasting for years. Like, it should be easy. Podcasting alone is just, like, flexing a whole different muscle. Like, it's not having three other people to bounce conversations off of and, you know, having the flow of, like, a room, which also, you guys, if, you know, you watch that show, like, it wasn't like, out the gate. We figured it out. Like, there was tension and beef and, like, we had to figure out what made sense for us as a unit. So, like, even in that setting, there's adjustments that need to be made, and it's difficult, difficult. But doing this alone is just, like, it's a whole different beast. It's like, it's just me and my thoughts. That's why I like this, because at least I have, like, this is my room. These are, like, my other mics, so to speak, where it's like, if you guys keep this chat engaged, I'm engaged. And it's awesome to, like, have this, like, back and forth dialogue, rather than me just, like, assuming what you want me to say or, like, guessing what topics you care that I talk about. Also, like, if I'm not doing this chat, then, like, I wouldn't be talking about this right now because I wouldn't. Wouldn't know that this is what you guys would want me to talk about. You know what I mean? Like, I wouldn't assume that this is the. You know, it wouldn't be. It's not as personal. Does AI help? I'm not, I don't use AI. I don't, I'm sure it would. The question was, does AI help with your production output? I don't use it. I used to use it to do these clips, like my run my socials and stuff, but I, it kind of stopped with those as well. But it doesn't, it has no hand in like me creating episodes or, you know, editing or anything. Honestly, editing my stuff's quite easy because I just, I really just color grade it noise, tweak the noise levels a bit and then put it out. I'm not cutting or really editing much of what I say. It's really, it's mostly 95% of my episodes, I would say, are just, you know, one shots. I'm not snipping subjects or tweaking things on that front. Yeah, the union, the political. I mean, you said thank you for the compliment about my music takes and political dialogue. I, I, I don't know if this is just like, I'm getting older. Well, I am getting older. I don't if it's just making me more emotional, but like, these things are like, weighing on my, like, they hurt, like in a stress way where it's like, I, I will never be willingly politically inept. Like, I will always be aware and attuned to what's going on internationally and domestically to the best of my abilities. But I, it was tough to come on here and do like a one take political rant. Honestly, if we want to talk politics now, I'd be more comfortable because, like, there's you guys are here and there's like more of like a back and forth. But it's tough to just like rile up, get frustrated and then just like word vomit political, you know, takes and then like not have any feedback immediately and then just be like, okay, like, hopefully this works, and then just hit upload, you know what I mean? And not even like, I hope this works, meaning I'm either I'm right or wrong. It's just like, damn, like I just said all that and I don't know, like, that was just a lot. It's just like, it's, it's exhausting. Keep up the good work. Thank you, Quentin. I appreciate you. All right, we got seven minutes. Damn. Even that five minutes just went by really fast. Would you ever consider just raw dogging it? Raw dog and what saying all pulp is nuts. That's like, that's like saying like, that's like Calling homo. That's like did. That's like saying not no. Diddy. That's just saying Diddy. Like just saying Pulp is crazy. Doesn't. Did he get out soon? A homecoming key to the city. We got to give him a parade. Like the Knicks just put a bunch of baby oil down Broadway City's biggest slip and slide home. Did he. I mean look. And we could play that song. I'm coming home. I'm coming home. Tell the world. Coming home. What's that? Yeah. And then when they. When that beat drops, you do all the baby oils. It's like the. Like. You know how most parades have like sparklers and cannons of confetti shooting. That's just shooting like baby oil. Baby oil. You just get wet. You like to get wet. Diddy in the street's gonna be a movement watch. You're gonna be in the club. So one of your favorite celebs is going to be caught seeing partying with him in the club and they're about to ruin their whole career. They're about to be on that to be movie with Jonathan Majors. The way some. Some idiot's gonna jump out and go partying with Diddy for the clout. I swear somebody's about to tank their career popping a bottle with Diddy and. Not that, not even any bottle. Baby oil, champagne, Ciroc, whatever. Any one of his sponsors that dropped him. Diddy might have to go the Trump route and just become a Trumper. They like anybody. They'll let anybody. Especially if you got some sexual on your jacket. That might need to be his new team. Gideon. And you know Diddy and Trump got history. That honestly might be his boy. I'm gonna call that early. Trump's gonna welcome Diddy with open arms, open holes, open everything. Yeah. All right. Sick. We. We. We hit the two hour mark. Butta. One more time. Shout out to you, bro. Thank you for. For joining us here towards the end. Keep up the good work. Balling and. Yeah, man. Guys, this was incredible. Honestly. This is a fun way to. To end the night and. And go to bed. And I'm literally about to get back. This is in lieu of me watching a film tonight. This was my. My activity and I'm very happy I did this. It's been. It's good to. To see you all. Yeah. Have a good night guys. Get some sleep. Rest up, Take care of yourself. Eat some salmon, saute your greens because it should be stinky and mean out there. Yeah. Enjoy the streets while Diddy's still locked up and I'll. I'll download this and press this out, even on audio as well. If you're an audio listener. I'll put this out on audio, but this will also be uploaded on YouTube as well as a full video. So I appreciate you guys. Bless and good night, y'. All. Queen Carvania stood haloed by the morning sun. An army hung on her every word.
