Harry
All right,
Dave
all righty. Welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad Podcast. Today it is Monday. It is July 27th. It's 1:40pm and we are here live from HQ. Tres. Welcome back.
Harry
Happy birthday to Nikki Smokes. Is it.
Dave
Is it Smoke's birthday?
Harry
He's turning 27 on the 27th, bro.
Francis
House of respect, golden birthday.
Harry
He's only 27.
Dave
I thought he was definitely like 28, 29.
Francis
Well, that's not.
Dave
Well, if he's 27, that means that he's. Or if he's turning 27, that means that he's a year older than me. I thought he was a couple years older than me.
Francis
Right, okay.
Harry
Yeah. I mean, he kind of. He has a 19 year old kind of like, feel to him as well.
Dave
Yeah, yeah, but he's like. Yeah, it's like he's like 19, but he's like 30 at the same time.
Francis
I don't think there are two people on earth more different than you and Nikki Smokes.
Dave
We're much more similar than you could even imagine. No, I'm kidding. Yeah, but we don't have much.
Harry
You guys just meet at the bag. That's the only thing you guys have is an overlap. You guys just hit the bag at the same time.
Dave
No words touch at the end of the bag.
Francis
Are you talking about the. The cocaine bag or the money bag?
Harry
No, cocaine.
Francis
Oh, yeah, right.
Dave
I don't do cocaine, though. That's not my thing.
Harry
And he doesn't make money. So you just have nothing in college.
Francis
Should have known.
Dave
Yeah, I can't think of anything I would actually, that I think would be worse for me than cocaine. Maybe mushrooms. Mushrooms I have a pretty big fear of, but everyone says they're so great. Have you ever done mushrooms?
Francis
I have a very, like, lukewarm relationship with mushrooms. It's not bad. It's not good. I've done them a handful of times. Yeah, they aren't as.
Harry
Whoa.
Francis
You know, they don't. They don't.
Dave
They're not. You're not like, seeing shit.
Francis
Well, not at all. I mean, it's not that at all. It's just that everyone else I know loves mushrooms.
Dave
People love them.
Francis
They're like, wow, have you seen the new? They come in sweet tart.
Dave
Yeah. People are obsessed.
Francis
And I don't drink as much when I do them. And it just gives me this happy, gentle euphoria, blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, okay. For me, it's I don't know.
Dave
The happy, gentle euphoria can't last forever. That's the thing.
Francis
No, not that. That goes away, and I just end up finding that I'm, like, running my tongue over the inside of my teeth for two hours.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
And then I'm like, all right, I don't really want this to happen anymore, but I think this is a great point to segue into Present Monday.
Dave
Present Monday.
Francis
Present Monday.
Dave
I didn't know we were. I didn't know that was a thing. Well, I would have brought my presents because I was saving them for Tuesday.
Francis
You can do Present Tuesday. That's always on the table. But Present Monday is a special. This is a. Maybe a one off.
Harry
If it's seven grams of mushrooms, I'll be very upset.
Dave
Yeah, me too. If it's anything drug related, I'm going to be upset. I'm cleaning. I'm cleaning out.
Francis
It's not. It's. Well, okay. So this past weekend, do you guys want to try to guess what I did?
Harry
Golf.
Francis
Golf. No.
Dave
Member? Guest?
Francis
No.
Harry
Had it. Went to a sick restaurant with somebody who, like, we wouldn't expect. That you're friends with, but they're actually Kane. Yeah. They're at the top of their field.
Francis
So random. What a poll.
Dave
You and Patrick Kane went out to dinner together in Chicago.
Harry
You flew out. You had a Delta deal in Chicago, so you and Patrick Kane had to go to State. Weird.
Francis
This is becoming a weird exercise for me because now I'm seeing how you guys view my life through your eyes and, like, what I do, and I'm like, I don't know if I like any of that.
Harry
Going out to dinner and. And having branded deals with.
Francis
I don't like my activities. Yeah, golf with LeBron. No.
Harry
In Philly, we played Marion.
Dave
You, Shane, and LeBron.
Francis
That's very.
Dave
I was gonna. So quick, sidetrack. I was gonna. I was trying to pull off a present, a crazy present Tuesday, but I didn't get. I never got a response. I texted Shane and I was like, do you know lebron? He's gonna try to get that Cavs autograph.
Francis
That would have been awesome.
Dave
Oh, it would have been game, dude.
Francis
I really appreciate.
Dave
He didn't even answer.
Harry
You just texted him, do you know LeBron?
Dave
I texted him in a group chat.
Harry
Yo, Shane, do you know LeBron?
Dave
I said, Shane, do you know LeBron?
Francis
They'll get to know each other.
Dave
Oh, definitely.
Francis
Now, that's why.
Dave
That's why LeBron went to the Sixers.
Francis
Shane saw him playing the Link and he's like, boy, they got fans. Come out.
Dave
Great community out there.
Harry
Yeah. I don't know. What about the. What about Drake?
Dave
Did Drake and Drake and LeBron don't with each other anymore?
Francis
Wait, what happened there?
Dave
LeBron took Kendrick's side.
Francis
Oh, right. He did.
Dave
He'll work his way back in. The funny thing there is. I guarantee there's.
Harry
It's.
Dave
In no world is it like, Drake going to, like, I guarantee LeBron goes to Drake with, like, a deep apology.
Harry
I think that he was already. I think when he was like, he was tweeting the owl emoji.
Dave
Oh, really?
Harry
I don't know.
Dave
But he wants back.
Harry
Yeah, he's got to want back.
Francis
But Drake has no connection to Philly.
Harry
Correct.
Dave
Drake has no connection to America.
Harry
But if he's anti LeBron Canadian, I
Francis
think he kind of just runs America.
Harry
I think he has houses probably all over the place. And didn't he just buy, like, an estate in Houston or something like that?
Dave
Probably.
Francis
He must have one of those. He's probably. Do you think he's a citizen?
Dave
Yeah, 100%.
Francis
Make a certain amount of money, they just give it to you.
Harry
He's got to have that duel.
Dave
I mean, he's an economy.
Francis
Yeah. I wonder if he has an alien of extraordinary ability. I always thought that was the coolest visa. The colloquialism of it is a genius visa.
Dave
Oh, really? Yeah, for like, if you're just like,
Francis
super successful, if you're just so, like, you're such a good artist, you're so good at your job, they give you a visa that's like, genius alien. Look that up. The genius visa. I know that they. I remember famously, I think. Yeah. Nickname for you is. Yeah, alien. It's alien. Of extraordinary ability or achievement. And it's permanent. Wow, that's cool. Yeah.
Harry
See, I like visas, but I've always been more of a chase guy.
Francis
Chase does work with Visa. I think all their cards are Visa,
Harry
and I know that.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
Cool.
Francis
Well, anyway, this weekend, I went to an ayahuasca retreat.
Harry
What? Really?
Francis
Yeah.
Harry
You did it.
Francis
Yeah, I did it.
Harry
You did. No, you didn't.
Francis
Yeah, I did.
Harry
No way.
Dave
That's insane.
Harry
Did it not take?
Francis
No, it. It's. It was weird. I don't know. I don't.
Dave
I'm still, like, seem the same.
Francis
I'm still figuring out, like, how you
Harry
couldn't seem more the same.
Dave
I feel like I noticed it more when you did Molly and Montauk.
Harry
You're like, You did ayahuasca Upstate.
Francis
Yeah, I did. I went to. They had a. You know, a place. Fucking shaman, whole thing. It was recommended to me by a friend of mine who had gone through some really bad grief.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
That he had tried to overcome. Have I talked. Maybe I've talked about that before.
Dave
I don't know. I know that's, like. It helps with that.
Francis
And he suggested, because I was just talking to him about how I feel kind of stuck.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
A little bit on some. Some patterns of thought. And I've also kind of started to feel that, like, my ego is not healthy. And I don't mean it in, like. I think it's unhealthy in both directions.
Dave
Oh, yeah?
Harry
What do you mean?
Dave
Like, negative and positive.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
Yeah. I think that you hate yourself, but you're also like, I'm the man.
Francis
At the same time, I probably overcompensate by trying to, like.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
Convince myself that I'm doing really well or convince other people of that. But the underlying truth is that I have a lot of
Dave
internal battles.
Francis
Yeah. Just feel really inadequate in a lot of ways, and I don't.
Harry
Is that a realization from the ayahuasca tent or.
Francis
No, that's why I went in. That's why I went.
Dave
Realization.
Harry
Wow.
Dave
You were already cured heading in.
Harry
So you ask the friends we made along the way.
Dave
You're just going there to get fucked up.
Francis
I was going to get high. I heard the beds were comfortable.
Dave
No, I'm good. I'm just here to get. Just obliterated.
Francis
Yeah. What's the normal dose? Can you triple? Pour me a double. I want four fingers of waska. I brought my own glass.
Harry
It's a drink.
Dave
Yeah. It's like a tea.
Francis
It's a drink. It's made with all these sort of like leaves and roots and different things, but then the main ingredients are dmt, obviously.
Dave
It's pretty much like DMT with, like, L theanine in it.
Francis
Yeah. There's all kinds of. It tastes horrible, by the way.
Dave
Don't you puke? Did you.
Francis
Yeah, I threw up. Yeah.
Harry
All right.
Dave
I gotta just tell the story. I gotta hear this.
Francis
Well, the big thing was that they, you know, you go in, it's a whole ritual. This one wasn't quite as like, jungles of Costa Rica. This one was more like, I don't know, kind of secure, medical, not medicinal is the way I would put it. And less like, ethereal. Ethereal and spiritual. Like 45 minutes from my place. It was not far, but was it like a home? I had to Spend the night.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
It was like a camp, but, like, we were back, but the buildings, everyone had their own kind of little room in a hut or whatever. And then that was all. And then we. We. There was, like, a g. Clearing that we went to for the ceremony.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
There were, like, five other people there. It was pretty intimate.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
So what are you.
Dave
Like, what, like, right. Right now? Like, what are your takeaways? Like, was it. Was it.
Francis
Well, the big thing. The big thing is that, like, you have to have a very clear intention of why you're doing it.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
And I. To be honest with you, I did not have as clear of an intention. I expressed to them what I was trying to sort of fix and understand. And what was that which was just like, this. This sense of self and, like, sense of purpose and meaning in life and, like, how can I live a more fulfilling life? And what do I want for myself ultimately? And is the pursuit of happiness like a just pursuit, or should it be a pursuit of contentment? I don't know. I had all kinds of questions and stuff, and they were helpful with that. But, like. But when it came time to actually go in and move the pieces of my mind into place, which is kind of how they describe it.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
Um, I was very nervous. I don't like hallucinating. And I was, you know. Yeah, I was pretty scared, and I don't think that was good. So we drank the.
Dave
The drinking out of, like, a shell.
Francis
It was in, like, a wooden cup. Yeah. With a ladle.
Dave
Okay.
Francis
And I drank it. It was horrible. It was the most putrid. It was. So how much?
Harry
How many ounces?
Francis
Probably like 8 ounces.
Harry
So it took a while to drink it.
Francis
I chugged it.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
Are you supposed to.
Francis
Yeah, they're like, take it down.
Dave
Like, do you have any, like. Like, what does it taste like? Like, mud, dirt?
Francis
Like, imagine if you imagine if you sucked the sugary coating off of Advil and then had to, like, suck a handful of Advil the rest of the way. Oh, it was really, really bitter.
Dave
Oh, I see. Okay. I know what you mean.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
You're like, I shouldn't be drinking this.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
It was very offensive to my taste buds. But then it took, like, probably 45 minutes for me to really start to feel the effects.
Dave
Oh, wow. I thought it was like an instant.
Francis
No. And then by the time that that was setting in, I remember feeling pretty upset. I started to cry a little bit, which was, I don't know, just like, this feeling I had. I had a lot of guilt washing over me. And then because of other stuff or
Harry
because you were doing a nasty, dirty drug.
Francis
I just sort of, like, had these flashbacks to moments in my life where I've, like, gotten it wrong.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
You know what I mean?
Harry
Oh, that's bad.
Francis
Yeah. And I was thinking a lot about my parents.
Dave
So this is before it's kicked in or it's starting to kick in? Yeah. He's thinking about the parents. It's definitely kicked in.
Harry
I got to call my mom.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
What's the safe word?
Harry
Turn it off.
Francis
How do you pronounce that? But yeah. So then my stomach sort of started to turn into knots, and that was when the nausea began. And they've got, like, a bucket there. They know you're going to throw up. Everybody throws up. Yeah. Yeah.
Harry
Yeah. Did this cost anything?
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
Did it A leg?
Harry
It wasn't your soul.
Francis
It wasn't as much as you would have thought.
Harry
Is it a thousand dollars?
Francis
It was 2,000 bucks.
Dave
Oh, that's not terrible.
Francis
No.
Dave
I thought it was gonna be, like. I honestly thought it was gonna be, like, 30.
Francis
I only went for one night. I think some people go for longer. Some people will go and, like, do. I think. I think they'll do multiple ceremonies.
Harry
And is there, like, something that they, like, tell you to focus on? Like, do they put on old episodes with Three Stooges or, like, the Lion King Live?
Francis
I mean, they tell you to, like, pinpoint the stress points in your life. And, like, for me specifically, they were like, all right, I want you to think about your. Your ego and sort of as this, like, creature inside of you. And, you know, there's a. There's a way to make it healthy, and there's a way that it can work against you, and you want to try to, like, push towards the healthy side of things and understand that, like, a confident sense of self and a healthy sense of self that's also grounded is vital to, like, living a balanced life.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Francis
And so sort of, like, that lasted. That lasted for probably an hour, and then I sort of started gently to, like, come back to. I didn't see, like, tunnels and lights and shit. Oh, wait.
Dave
So that was it? That was, like, the peak.
Francis
Well, that after I threw up, it was like, an hour of just being upset.
Dave
So, like, are you, like. No, I get that. So, like, are you.
Harry
Are you.
Dave
You're with five other people or four other people and then assuming, like, staff or whatever?
Francis
I also. Watching them throw up. No.
Dave
So everyone's like, yeah, everyone's kind of, like, staring into the Woods.
Francis
And they're. Yeah, people are just like. And then. And then there was, like, a couple there, and they were, like, hugging each other and comforting each other. And I was like, I'm alone.
Dave
Yeah, you should have been like, can we get them out? Like, get them in a room or something?
Harry
Can we not.
Dave
No one wants to see that people throw up either.
Harry
That's like watching a demon leave someone. Yeah, that's a darker.
Francis
It wasn't co Great, but dog throw up. One thing that was cool. One thing that was cool was that they were talking about, like, people in my life that mattered to me and how, like, my treatment of them and my relationship with them and sort of how I can, like, how does my ego approach those relationships and stuff like that. And when I was leaving, they gave us these, like. I don't know, these, like, small vessels in which you can. Like. Basically, it's meant to, like, take you away from, you know, having relationships for the wrong reasons. And you can. It's symbolic and like, it. To be honest with you, I was a little fucked up when they were explaining.
Dave
Like, it just.
Francis
All. None of it. Nothing was really working that well. I was pretty numb and, like, loopy. But I thought I would give them to you guys because I spent so much time talking to you guys. And I just thought that this would be a cool gift.
Harry
This is such a cool gift.
Dave
I feel like this is gonna be something where, like, shit's gonna start going wrong in my apartment and it's all gonna be pointing back to the fucking vessel.
Francis
I mean, I would consider. I would consider trying it. So. Yeah. So close your eyes.
Dave
Like, why is it vibrating in the closet?
Francis
Close your eyes and put your hands out.
Harry
Why do I hear a tribe singing?
Francis
Okay, so those are. Go ahead, lift. Open your eyes.
Dave
Oh, hell, yeah.
Harry
You didn't try ayahuasca at all?
Dave
No, I. What is this?
Harry
This is from first class.
Francis
Yeah. He took a Delta flight.
Harry
I knew it, bro. You're so full of that.
Francis
Is the toilet kit they give you in Delta 1. I'm so. I thought that was all.
Harry
Yeah. What?
Francis
I forgot.
Harry
That's crazy.
Francis
He flew across the country on Delta.
Dave
Yeah, he did fly across.
Francis
I always make that mistake.
Harry
If you actually had golf with LeBron and Shane, I'm gonna be pissed.
Dave
You know what'? How dumb I am.
Francis
I really thought it was ayahuasca that I did this weekend.
Dave
But when you handed the flight to
Francis
San Francisco, when you handed us these,
Dave
I didn't even think, like, I knew it was the Delta thing. But I was like, oh, it wasn't. He didn't do ayahuasca upstate. He went somewhere else. Like, that's where I. I still thought you did ayahuasca. Yeah,
Francis
My fault, guys. I really. I really.
Dave
Well, now you have to do ayahuasca.
Francis
I totally.
Harry
You owe us ayahuasca. Because I bought into.
Dave
I was so bought in. I was ready to talk about that. For the whole episod episode.
Francis
Yeah, sort of. It's just. I don't know, it's all blur these days.
Harry
Grand. I was about to start asking the most specific questions about what type of material you sat on and. Like that.
Francis
Yeah, my fault.
Dave
I hate to be that guy too, but this is Mint would put this to shame.
Francis
Oh, come on now.
Dave
Come on.
Francis
Those are made by the hands of children in. In the Ayahuasca community.
Harry
Yeah. In the Missoni province.
Dave
In Mint, they give you over ear headphones with a case to keep. Now they collect them.
Francis
They do that in Delta 1. What are you talking about?
Dave
You're not a mint guy.
Francis
No, I'm not.
Harry
You haven't flown Delta 1. That's what that's showing about you.
Dave
I've flown Delta 1 twice, actually.
Francis
I had to get. I went both ways, Delta One. So I got one. I kept one on the way and then got the return as well.
Harry
So you didn't grab another one's unused return?
Francis
No.
Harry
So people have hit me with that before. They're like, hey, can I have your. Can I have your kit?
Francis
Wow.
Harry
That's. Not that. I don't know.
Dave
I'm pissed.
Harry
What?
Dave
So mad that you didn't do ayahuasca. I was really enjoying that story.
Francis
I am. I was too, to be honest with you.
Harry
Can we just live in the reality that you did ayahuasca and just talk about that?
Francis
Yeah. I mean, I feel like I basically described for you why I would go and what I would hope to get out of it.
Dave
Yeah. And so are you going to go?
Francis
All of that was just a ploy to hand you a Delta 1 toilet kit. It's all good.
Dave
I need the sleep mask anyway.
Harry
Well, I know you'd considered doing ayahuasca at one point.
Francis
Yeah. But then I just went on regular prescription antidepressants and they worked.
Harry
Johnson and Johnson actually has an ayahuasca treatment of their own called Lexa Pro.
Francis
Yeah, exactly.
Harry
Wow.
Dave
We might have to do it.
Harry
I had the clip loaded with follow up questions.
Dave
Oh, I had so many empty it
Harry
out, I was getting a little suspicious.
Dave
I was Getting a little suspicious because I feel like he was like, you talked about the throwing up. And then you were like. And then it kind of. And I was like, I feel like that's when it's supposed to ramp up to, like, the next. You were like, I didn't see anything.
Francis
You guys are probably accustomed to me telling, like, you were like, that's what we got the whole episode.
Dave
Oh, totally.
Francis
We got it.
Dave
Yeah. Yeah. This is going to be. I already, I already checked out in my head. I was done.
Francis
And I was like. And I was like, man, if the ayahuasca taught me anything, it's that I need to tell stories more quickly and also, especially if they're not true at all.
Harry
Is it like a 17 hour, like, trip?
Dave
It's a long. I think it's, I don't know. No, I don't think long. I think it's pretty quick, but I think it is, like, very intense.
Harry
I, I, I feel like people would be, people would appreciate if we got to the bottom of this. How long does a ayahuasca trip?
Dave
They say that when you're throwing up, it's called, like, they call it purging. And you're like, getting rid of, you're like, expelling, like the demons from your body and it's like an aggressive throw up. Did you look into it, though? Like, that seemed like there had to have been some truth there.
Francis
I mean, I've.
Dave
That place exists.
Francis
There is one up there. I didn't research much about any of it. All I really know is that I've watched, I watched like, the Aaron Rodgers documentary. Oh, yeah, I forgot he went into it.
Dave
He's got the fucking paint all over his face.
Francis
Yeah. And all the other people are like, Aaron, they're like hugging him and he's like, singing and it's like, yo, NFL MVP multiple times, time MVP monster. Aaron Rodgers is among us Gypsies as we.
Dave
That would be tough. That probably, like, with your eye, like, you come back from your ayahuasca trip and you're like, I guess I'm just like a huge packers fan now. I'm not really sure what, what I got from that.
Harry
And he's like, hugging these hairy armpit women and their hair's, like, locking up. Like, when two rams catch horns with each other, they're just like stuck, like two face masks. Stuck. Brutal. Yeah. 20 to 60 minutes is the onset. One to two hours is the peak. And then the come downs, four to six hours.
Francis
Well, I kind of nailed that. I said 45 minutes in and then I was like. It was an hour of peaking.
Dave
Four to six hour come down for an hour of peaking is pretty brutal.
Francis
Yeah, I don't, I, I'm afraid of it.
Harry
I bought that. You, I kind of bought it that, like it didn't really take for you because you said it was mostly dmt. And I tried to do DMT one time and I. But I smoked it. It's like a powder. And she's like, that's like doing, being doing.
Dave
That's how you're supposed to do it. You're supposed to like vaporize it.
Harry
Yeah, but that's like smoking crack. Like you're smoking a powder.
Dave
Well, you're not, but I don't think anyone snorts dmt, do they?
Harry
I don't know. I know people have it in like weed pens now, but it didn't, it didn't really do much for me. And a lot of people were like, oh, you didn't break through. Like I saw like hieroglyphs, but like that.
Dave
Why don't you just do it tonight? Get one of those pension.
Harry
I swear to God.
Dave
The kids go to bed.
Harry
Yeah. Hit the deemsters. I got four to six hours to
Dave
kill at the DMT yard.
Harry
Damn. I wanted you to have done it so bad.
Francis
Maybe I'll go do it. Maybe I'll go do it now. Now that I enjoyed telling.
Dave
I was honest. I was like, I, I, I like you. Don't you seem the. You seemed the exact same. And I was like, I feel like something like you would be. Definitely be a little different if you did it.
Harry
You'd come back like Indian.
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
In the middle of the forehead.
Francis
Yeah. Just come back wearing a sarong. Leather. Leather. Like you would be minimalist. I sold all my clothes.
Dave
Yeah. Barefoot.
Francis
I gave them away. I don't need anything. I haven't eaten in three days.
Dave
You come in barefoot with just all
Harry
of your belongings, sitting cross legged, looking like Rick Rubin. Beard grown out.
Francis
I see that you're wearing the shoes of the colonizer. Yeah, I, No, I went to San Francisco for the weekend.
Dave
Why did you go to San Fran? That's even weirder. The. Were you.
Harry
Did you stay at the one out there? I know that's your hotel.
Francis
No, I stayed at the Four Seasons, which was sick. It was pretty good.
Dave
Were you there on vacation?
Francis
No, I had to go shoot something.
Harry
Oh, business.
Francis
Yeah.
Harry
Not pleasure. No pleasure at all.
Francis
It was a pleasure. I played a golf club out there.
Dave
So we were Right.

Francis
Yeah, but that wouldn't have squared with ayahuasca.
Dave
But when you came in, you said, what do you guys think I did this weekend?
Francis
And I'm pretty sure.
Dave
I said, I'm pretty sure you golfed in San Francisco.
Francis
You didn't say San Francisco.
Dave
No, I'm kidding.
Harry
He said, the Bay Area doesn't count. Had to be more specific. Can you tell us about the shoot or is that. Is that.
Francis
I was. It was a thing for Chase. It'll come out on my.
Dave
Chase got you going worldwide?
Francis
Yeah, baby. You know it.
Harry
You know, flew to San Fran for Chase. Hit the. Hit the links. I know you hit some nice restaurants and I know you linked with somebody.
Francis
I did go to a cool restaurant. It was called State Bird Provisions. It was cool. It's like this dim sum version of American food. I don't know. It was a little too chaotic, to be honest with you. They bring around these trays that have, like, this. It has like, a sign that says, like, $6. Oh, and it's these, like, specific types of oysters or, you know, ceviche type thing. But they're coming the whole time. So you don't know, really. In the beginning, you're like, yep, we'll take that, we'll take that, we'll take that. Halfway through, you're like, I would have passed on a few of those.
Dave
Yeah. If I knew.
Francis
If I knew none this was coming. And now I'm not that hungry. And I've only eaten, like, bread. Heavy things.
Dave
What is that? Like the Chinese dim sum?
Harry
Like he said.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Oh, that's.
Dave
What you did was dim sum?
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
No, it is.
Harry
It's exactly.
Francis
You serious?
Dave
I didn't. That completely I was still thinking about the ayahuasca. I did ayahuasca this weekend. I was waiting for you to wrap up.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Up.
Dave
Talk about my experience.
Harry
People do act like that is a proprietary. The dim sum experience is proprietary. But I saw Italian restaurant this weekend where people do that. They're like, you'll love this little Italian restaurant where they come out with, like, plates of spaghetti. Brazilian steakhouses do the same thing.
Dave
The Brazilian. I went to a Brazilian steakhouse, and that me so bad. Because they bring out the best cut of the steak last. And you're like, well, I just had skirt steak. Like, I was just hammering back chicken thigh.
Francis
Dude, I cannot imagine what a Brazilian steakhouse does to your stomach.
Harry
Yeah, you're shitting an anaconda.
Dave
My stomach's so up. It's like, not even. Like, it's actually, like, unacceptable at this point.
Francis
Yeah.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
But you know why? And you don't choose to do anything about it.
Dave
What? Why?
Francis
Well, isn't the vaping really bad for it?
Dave
I quit vaping. Vaping.
Harry
Did you?
Dave
I've quit vaping like, a thousand times.
Francis
No.
Dave
Yes. But no. I actually have quit. I use the pouches now.
Francis
Fantastic.
Dave
The vaping. 100. My stomach up also. So does weed, which I'm. I'm taking a break from the.
Francis
You're off the fog.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
How long has it been?
Dave
A day.
Harry
Oh, wow. So you're committed.
Dave
I'm. I'm in deep.
Francis
I think. You told us yesterday you were off the fog, and so if you're saying it's been a day.
Dave
When did I tell you guys? Yesterday. I told you this morning.
Francis
Is that what it was?
Dave
Yeah. Yeah.
Francis
Oh, okay. Yeah.
Harry
How does it feel? You feel fresh?
Dave
No. Feel awful. But I feel the exact same. I. I feel fine. I'll be fine. I'm. I. I just gotta. I gotta give the brain a reset, you know?
Francis
You know, it's great.
Dave
I'm not. I'm not reaching my full potential right now.
Francis
Ayahuasca.
Harry
Get him on the waska. Get him a fat couple.
Dave
Honestly, not a bad idea. The thing is, I'll just. Then I'll just. I'll just start doing ayahuasca every day. This is how I. Down at night, throwing up, got in a sippy cup.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
And then I'll come in on Monday. I'll be like, my stomach's bro. I don't know what's going on.
Francis
Must have been a bad batch last night.
Dave
I had diarrhea because usually it's just the throwing up, and now I'M getting. I'm getting diarrhea on top of it.
Harry
I think that is. That was going to be one of my first questions is that people do themselves off of it. Off the waski.
Dave
I mean, that's got to just cut right through you straight to the ass.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
That would be like, not like if you were to do. You were only to. And not throw up. I would do it just to get the out. Yeah. It's a natural laxative.
Harry
Severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sweating and increased heart rate and blood pressure.
Dave
Yeah, that sounds like hell.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
Bless you.
Harry
Just to get a little high. Just hit the pen.
Dave
The pen. The pen is the devil.
Harry
Well, the DMT pen. Yeah. True people have DMT pens. The Deemsters.
Dave
Nothing like, I see that on like, Twitter all the time.
Harry
The DMT pen.
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
Or the nasal spray full of ketamine.
Dave
Yeah, yeah, I've heard about that as well.
Harry
The Lawan.
Dave
Hey, you know, say, I heard Luan has one of those.
Harry
Yeah, the ones. Yeah.
Francis
Oh, yeah, I've seen that before. Someone had that at a wedding I went to Lawan and someone I knew dude took it and didn't really know what it was.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
And then that person ended up getting very sick from it. All right, enough.
Dave
Can't do anything about it.
Francis
Enough. Enough already. It's performative.
Harry
Well, it's masturbatory. You are.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Harry
Come on, bro.
Dave
I've been sick since I got back from Vegas. Just a little head cold.
Harry
Breathe that way.
Dave
I'm trying. Sorry.
Harry
Breathe a different way.
Dave
Maybe I'll just go home.
Harry
It looks. It feels like more like allergies though, though.
Dave
Yeah, it's been a. The sneezing is unbearable.
Harry
What's the fallout with the Vegas stuff? I saw that Dave wants you to live in a house.
Dave
Yeah. I don't really know. Like, I. I don't even know how that's possible. I live in New York City and I do a podcast in New York City.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
But like, I mean, I don't really know. We have. I haven't talked to Dave about it. I know Jerry talked to him a little bit about it. I think Dave thinks, like, he sees the only way of it, like, really working is with a content house, which is a great idea. Like, we. We thought about that. That like, we want the players to be together regardless. But Dave obviously said me and Jerry have to live in the house full time. Jerry's got a family. Two kids.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
He basically gave you an ultimatum that he knew you couldn't.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
Exceed to.
Dave
But I'm. I'm hoping that there's some sort of in between that we can work out, you know, like where we maybe, like, I don't live in Chicago full time, but like, maybe if we have a tournament, like I was saying, like, I think if we have a content house, I think that completely removes the need for us to go to the tournaments in person. Like, obviously we want to go to the tournaments, but if we're getting all the in person content out of the way in Chicago now, I need you
Harry
to sneeze again because your nose, it's not going to. It's not going to get like. I need you to.
Dave
It's going to be like this for the rest of the day.
Harry
One more sneeze.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
Allergies.
Dave
I don't know what it is.
Harry
See if there's anything in your ayahuasca kit.
Francis
Take a little look. There might be.
Harry
Use the socks to blow your nose.
Francis
Eastern medicine.
Harry
Start blowing your nose into that, that compression sock that they have in there.
Francis
Put the earplugs in your nostrils.
Dave
That's actually a good idea.
Harry
I think that Dave did the. It is a pro move when someone asks you for advice and you just give them something that's impossible to do. Yeah. And so it's like, yeah, come back to me when like you can run a 4, 240.
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
Bench press £500.
Dave
Yeah. No, he. He knows it's impossible, but I. If there's a world where we do. Where we are able to get like a house for the guys, I think that'll be sick. I think that would be awesome for like the online tournament.
Francis
It's so funny to me that, like, that's how you hear what he said.
Dave
Well, he suggested it, but he did
Francis
it only to have. Well, you guys there.
Harry
He.
Dave
There was a day between suggesting the content house and then the ultimatum. We just got to get him back in the mood of. Before the ultimatum.
Francis
I'm telling you, I don't think Dave's going to put, put. He's not going to buy or rent a house for four.
Dave
But it would, if you think about it.
Francis
Gaming burnouts.
Dave
But if you think about it, for bums. If you think about it, it would be cheaper than us going to the
Harry
tournaments for those budget conversations that everyone's
Dave
dying to hear about here.
Francis
Dave, we're going to save you money.
Dave
There's no good way to frame it.
Francis
Buy a house for.
Dave
There's no good way to frame any conversation where you have to ask for money. Money, dude, the thing the Thing is always bad.
Francis
Even if those guys lived in a house together, they still wouldn't talk to each other.
Dave
No, they would. They definitely would. And they would blow up all. Like, they would get in fights all the time and it would be good content. But I, I don't know. I'm. We'll figure that out.
Harry
Do you know any other brands at Barstool that have like, not only like one content or not only one budget meeting, but like dozens of budget meetings?
Francis
I've never seen anything like this phenomenon in my life. I've. I've never seen such a physical manifestation of mountain out of a molehill.
Dave
It's just, it just doesn't stop.
Harry
They're like creating bureaucracy in real time. You're like create. Putting like middlemen. You're like creating like. It's pretty. It's just, it's just nuts to watch.
Dave
Well, there's just a lot of shit that they, that we have to do. Like, I don't think. I don't know. I don't know.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
I.
Dave
The only other brand that I've been a part of from the ground up is this one. But this brand, we didn't have any meetings ever.
Harry
And that's how I like it.
Dave
But like, I, I don't know if that's because we didn't have meetings or if that's because the bar stool people in the, in the background were handling everything. Like, I know we, I know this brand has a budget. Like we have a budget that we're allowed to use, but like we didn't. It's not like we all met and sat down and like broke down the numbers and we're like, we should be fine with.
Francis
Well, my guess, my guess is that one of the reasons we don't end up having meetings is because we really don't use any of our budget. We're very.
Dave
Yeah, it's a cost free show.
Francis
We don't really do that. I wouldn't say it's cost free, but
Dave
I mean it's damn near.
Francis
Again, we have three brilliant producers, seven cameras, all these lights. That, that comes with a cost.
Dave
Well, I know it comes with the cost of us being employed from Barstool, but there's no like extra cost. Like this is all of our jobs.
Harry
What was up with that Discord manager talking on mooc?
Dave
Oh yeah. I mean that's. That goes back months.
Harry
Who. What's that all about?
Dave
I mean, it's not really my thing.
Harry
Did you see this, this dude in Austin were basically like, how can we get. How can we get Mook out of here?
Dave
This was the end of. This was the end of the relationship with Austin, though. This is, like, what sparked the whole thing.
Harry
And he's. And Austin was like, we. I would. But, like, you just. You don't understand the power of friendship. Him and Sass are friends, so I can't get rid of him.
Francis
Wow.
Harry
But I would put this. I'll put this discord manager in. In Telluride Bush if I could.
Dave
But this is what. This was the argument that I had when I was saying that he wants.
Francis
Does he know who that guy is?
Dave
We all know who he is. He's been working with us since the beginning.
Francis
Have you met him?
Dave
Yeah, my name multiple times.
Francis
Oh, he shows up.
Dave
He comes to the events.
Francis
Yeah, got it.
Dave
But, like, I don't know. I don't. I don't really got anything to say about him. Like, he's fine. He does his job well. Well, he crossed every single line that you could possibly imagine.
Francis
That's not doing your job well.
Dave
Well, he did. Like, he did do his job well. Like, he showed up every. Like, when we won the major in. In Atlanta. Like, he was, like, getting the players everything they needed, getting them waters, getting them food. He's like. He's keeping track of all, like, the statistics and stuff, like, letting them players know when they have to play. Every. He was doing everything. He's just doing, like, all of, like, the little that no one else wanted to do.
Francis
Do.
Dave
And we were like, we loved him. We were gassing him up big time. We were like. We were like, phenom's a superstar.
Francis
That's his name. Phenom.
Dave
Well, that's his, like, discord name.
Francis
Oh. And then I didn't know if it was, like, he was Vietnamese and it was phe.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Space.
Harry
Phenom.
Dave
No. And we have, like, very fun. I brought waters.
Harry
I did everything for them.
Dave
We have, like, very funny clips of him, like, yelling in the. In the. When the. When the players are playing. Like, they. When the. When they're playing and they get a kill, they yell out dead. Like, they scream like, dead.
Francis
It's actually pronounced fu, But took me too long. Ayahuasca.
Dave
Yeah. So, like, we have funny clips of him yelling out dead. When the players are playing. Like, he's. Oh, that looked painful. All passion. He's all passion. And then the thing happened with Austin. He's. He's DMing Austin, saying that he should have Mook's job. Obviously, like, we're not going to work with him after that. The craziest thing was, like, Austin siding. Like, that was the whole thing where I was saying, remember. I don't know if you guys remember last week when I was talking about it, and I was like, Austin said, like, he wants us to be taking advice from, like, the fans. And that was who he was referring to.
Francis
And that's not quite as. I don't know how to put it. It's not as bad as I thought it was worse.
Dave
It's worse.
Francis
You just.
Dave
I don't think that. I don't think you are grasping it. I can explain it. The.
Francis
I do grasp it. You just sang that guy's praises and said that he's a very intrinsic part of the whole operation. He shows up.
Dave
He knows there's a lot of people involved in Bush, and a lot of them are very passionate and. And are very happy to be doing this. That doesn't mean that they are like, I don't. I don't. I don't want to, like, kill Phenom here. But, like, Barstool is never going to hire Phenom. He doesn't bring anything to the table that Barstool would hire, especially now after he publicly tried to take Moocs job.
Francis
I think I meant that when you said that Austin said, you need to listen to the fans, I thought he was referring to just, like, random people on Twitter.
Dave
But he's not like that. He is so, like, Phenom's whole thing is that he moderates this Discord. Discord is very similar to Reddit, where, like, it's like, essentially it's like one big group chat. Like, you. You all, like. It's all a bunch. There's like. We have, like. There's probably like, 100 dudes in there every day that are talking and. And shitting on us and talking about the Bush, which is whatever. That's what all of those things are for. Phenom texted Mook a list of, like, suggestions from the Discord. And if you look at the Discord, these people are just ragdolling on us constantly, which, again, I don't care. That's what that Discord is for. That's what they're gonna do with it. But that doesn't mean, like, we gotta be in there looking at their sick.
Harry
Jeez. Yeah, they're not, Tony.
Dave
No, no, exactly. And singing their praises. So Mook responded to Phenom and was like, I don't give a fuck what the Discord's saying. Like, I'm not. We're not listening to those guys. Very valuable. Valid. If you read the Discord ever, you would understand that is an extremely valid response to that. And then Phenom sent that to. To Austin pretty much saying, like, mook won't listen to any of our suggestions. Like, he's not doing a good job, et cetera, et cetera, whatever. Crazy move by Phenom to try to publicly take Mook's job. And then the craziest thing is that Austin sided with Phenom. Like, is that not fucking. Like, I get, like, Barstool is a place of, like, tough love and stuff, but that's like, you're.
Francis
You're.
Dave
You're literally going against an employee of the company that you supposedly, like, stand for. Like, he's like, this is all like. Like, you know, he talks. He has the conversations where he's like. He's like, Jerry's one of the. One of the dumbest guys we got. And it's like, well, if it's a whole we thing, like, why are you publicly. Why are you publicly talking shit about one of your employees to a Discord?
Harry
That's like, if. If someone on. Like, Reddit's like, kate should be off the act. And then. And then someone's like, in.
Dave
The response is being like, yeah, like, what the. Is like, even if Austin hates Mook, that's not something you do. I wouldn't. Like, if. If me and you got an argument, I wouldn't go on the Instagram. I wouldn't be replying to Instagram. DMS being like, yeah, Francis needs to figure his out. Like, that's cr. Like, talk to a therapist. That's not a conversation you have with a f. Barstool. And I don't want, like, I know I said Phenom does a lot, but at the end of the day, he's a fan of Barstool. Like, he's obsessed with Barstool. Like, it's crazy.
Francis
Yeah, I was just thinking. I don't know what I was thinking. I. I think that. I think that people in these communities, they. They make. Make it seem like what they're sharing is fundamental truth.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
And if they were to allow. And we do it here at Barstool, too, where it's like, if you allow the truth to actually seep in, which is that, like, none of this is either necessarily correct or that there are other opinions out there or that there are more important people and things happening, then it punctures that bubble that you've created.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Francis
So I don't really have a whole lot else. I Was trying to just get really philosophical.
Harry
It's nice. I. I've been enjoying your philosophical takes. I liked you. You even philosophically coming in, being, like, ego and stuff like that.
Francis
Yeah, well, that is something that I've been really struggling with. In truth, if I were to go to an Ayahuasca retreat, I would be. Try trying to do it for that reason.
Harry
You know? Who. Who would be better at Ayahuasca retreat than you? New Phenom. Maybe Phenom will be better than all of us.
Francis
I'm not going with that guy. I stand with Mook.
Harry
We should just have Phenom on the show.
Francis
Mookie's my buddy. I like Mook a lot.
Dave
I mean, if you've met. If you ever have met Mook and you've met Austin and you've met Phenom, it's pretty easy to walk away from this one and be like, yeah, Mook's definitely the most sane person in this.
Francis
Mm.
Harry
Yeah. I just had to bring it up because I saw who. Who published the DMS between Phenom and Austin.
Dave
Phenom did. He thought he posted them to the Discord thinking it was gonna, like, like, bail him out, and then, like, because he, like, pretty much runs the Discord, like, they look at him like he's God, dude.
Francis
The whole time you were talking, I was just thinking about how my Ayahuasca healer would have coached me through that situation. I, like, it was. It's like the Louie bit where, like, I literally imagined had done it, and I was like, what? How did she tell me to treat. How did mother counsel me through these moments?
Harry
Those trips are hard because, like, I was. I'm empathizing with you as if you had done it as well, because, like, you. You seek this, like, greater meaning, and then maybe you'll get a shred of truth, and then you, like, try to hold on to it so tight, and then you wake up the next day, you're like, wait, what was it? What was the universal truth that I. I learned from that?
Dave
I feel like you just got to leave those. Like, you're leaving those places, like. And you're like, I just got fucked up last night. It's all that happened.
Francis
No, no, no, no, no.
Dave
You didn't do it. You never done Ayahuasca.
Harry
You're talking.
Dave
You're talking from the same thing as all of us.
Francis
Where do you think I got these dream catchers from? I think there is something. Everyone says it. It fundamentally rewires your.
Dave
Yeah, they don't Want to admit they just paid $2,000 to. You'll get.
Harry
He made up the price.
Dave
Like, don't you get it? It's probably more. It's probably more. $10,000 to get for 30 minutes
Harry
and
Dave
then leave and be like, I feel like I'm a better person now.
Harry
I actually. I am better. I'm actually better than all you do.
Dave
I feel like I get it now.
Francis
Yeah. Well, I'll be honest with you. I didn't even do it. And I had. I didn't. Your story didn't bother me like, all of that. I just. I pictured it as like drops of water rolling off my shoulders into an infinite ocean that never rises above my ankle bones.
Dave
Yeah, you're right. I'm honestly, I'm glad we ended that story when we did because I'm probably
Francis
sick of tired talking about it.
Dave
Yeah, I'm a little sick of talking about it. I feel like I got everything out that I wanted to say last week.
Francis
I think that's fair. And you did a great job. It was an all time episode. Probably the best one we've ever done.
Dave
Well, I don't know about that.
Francis
Let's put it this. That's the hardest I've ever laughed at anything you've ever said.
Harry
And you're a professional comedian.
Francis
Maybe the hardest I've ever. Maybe the hardest. Certainly the hardest. I think I've laughed on the podcast and probably the hardest I've laughed truly out loud in like five to ten years. I was. I was in so much pain.
Dave
I think the hardest I've ever laughed on the podcast is when we had war mode on and. And you asked Billy if he was a flat earther and he was like, well, I'm not married to the globe.
Francis
Here's a funny little. Little segue. Okay. Yeah, funny little thing. When I was flying home yesterday, I, you know they bring you the food in Delta One.
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
And I had the short rib.
Francis
I had the chicken astronaut food. It was pretty solid. It was fine.
Dave
20,000 milligrams of sodium.
Francis
Yeah, it was definitely.
Harry
It's delicious. What are you talking about? Are you trying to disparage Delta all of a sudden?
Dave
I'm not. I love Delta.
Harry
You just forget who you are.
Dave
I love Delta seats.
Francis
The one thing you should not have that they bring are those little shrimp. Shrimp poison.
Dave
Those have never been in water.
Francis
Yeah. That is. I would not eat that. Those are shrimp. Those are like tree shrimp.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
Maggots. Really all it is earthworms that have been petrified into the shape of a hook. But they took our food away. And I'm sitting next to a guy who. He's wearing, like, a cypress quarter zip, which is one of the sickest golf clubs in the country. So he's my age, so, you know, you're gonna talk.
Dave
Well, I'm gonna be some talking on.
Francis
I had already talked to him a little bit, and he's in the aisle, and I'm in. To the left of him.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
And she comes by, and she's got. She's got these, like. It was the dessert portion, and it was. You could either do, like, cheese and nuts, or you could do this sort of like. I guess it was like a tiramisu bar, Right. And I was like, I'll do the chocolatey thing. She handed it to me, and she was like, I'll be right back with your spoons. And I went, that's okay. I'll just eat it with my hands. And she went, what? And I then picked it up, and it was so soft.
Dave
Oh, really?
Francis
It was like.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Cre.
Dave
Thought it was going to be like
Francis
a. I thought it was like a brownie. And my fingers just went right through the middle of it. And, dude, me and this dude started laughing so hard. I was so embarrassed. She watched me just go, like, try to pick it up and just have it all. It's all over my hands. And I went. I thought it was solid.
Harry
That's like picking up foam. It's like picking up a bubble bath.
Francis
And I licked my fingers, and I was like, I'll take the spoon. She's like, I thought you might.
Harry
Damn, that's hilarious.
Dave
Your fingers going right through.
Francis
So funny.
Harry
A pinch through.
Dave
Speaking of that. Or I guess kind of if we're just going. We're going to some loose transitions here. I watched the Back Rooms last night.
Harry
Okay, that's nothing to do with what Francis said.
Dave
Well, kind of. Have you seen it?
Harry
They go through a wall.
Dave
They go through the wall, and it's very.
Francis
What's the back room?
Dave
Straight through.
Francis
Through.
Dave
No. No crunch or breaking open. It's probably one of the worst movies ever made.
Harry
I thought people love that, bro.
Dave
That movie was.
Francis
I've never even heard.
Dave
And it was one of those horror movies. It came out right when Obsession came out.
Francis
Okay.
Dave
So it was very overshadowed by Obsession. But, like, right when they both came out, the talk of the town was like, oh, Obsession in the Back Rooms just came out. And then it slowly became Obsessions in theater.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
And then it was. No one's talking about the background yeah.
Harry
Didn't Lev read for the. The lead role of it.
Dave
Of Obsession? Not backrooms.
Harry
I thought it was backrooms.
Dave
Which actually is. It does. It's funny. That does make sense because it's such, like, a low budget, like, indie film.
Harry
What does that mean?
Dave
It means Lev's not getting auditions to be in Marvel movies.
Francis
Means Lev will be paid in pizza.
Dave
But shout out Lev, by the way, great guy.
Harry
No, no, you just threw him under the. But you just.
Dave
No, I didn't throw him under the bus. You tried to make it. That. I threw him under.
Harry
You were easily.
Dave
You tried to.
Harry
You tried. I was saying that he got. No, you tried this for a sick
Dave
movie, but you were like, no, no. Yeah, the way that you said it was like, that didn't happen. And then I justified Lev's comment and said, actually, no, that's true. He did get an audition for the
Harry
better movie of the two, and I was trying to big him up.
Dave
And then you thought he got an audition for the worst one.
Harry
No, no.
Dave
Yeah, yeah.
Harry
You're saying his dog.
Dave
You said bat obsess.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Great.
Harry
I didn't watch either of them, so how would I know that?
Dave
Great. It's not that good, but it's better than the back rooms, that's for sure.
Harry
I just thought it was cool that Lev had an audition for something. You're like, well, he's not. He's not in Marvel shape.
Dave
No, you were trying.
Harry
I'm like, what do you mean?
Dave
Anyone wanted me to put him on the spot and say nasty things about him, which I would never do.
Harry
No, you just intentionally, voluntarily said nasty things.
Dave
I heard. I heard you were with my boy Pete this weekend as well. Buddha judge at the nicest. Big guy guy, hard to miss. Tallest guy you've ever seen.
Harry
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that. That stand owns that.
Dave
That spot.
Harry
Yeah, that spot.
Francis
Now, where was it? Chelsea Music Hall.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
Oh, cool.
Harry
How'd you know they bought Chelsea Music Hall?
Francis
Because we were looking at that as a venue for me to potentially film something.
Harry
Really? Yeah.
Dave
Pretty cool venue.
Harry
Ceilings are a little low.
Francis
Yeah.
Harry
Is that what you came up with?
Francis
No, I mean, I've done shows there before for.
Harry
How was it?
Francis
Depends. Ceilings are kind of low, but that's what you want.
Dave
You want low ceilings.
Harry
That's what I'm saying.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
I also feel like the ceilings aren't very low. No, I've done a couple shows there. It's fun. I mean, it's a good club.
Harry
Yeah. Great club.
Dave
It's. I don't. I wouldn't say it's on. It's as good as the stand. Like their main.
Harry
I wouldn't even call it a club, dude.
Francis
I'm. I'm in such a weird place right now, mentally. Like, I literally was so convinced that I had done ayahuasca that I'm now seeing all of this conversation as though how I would react.
Dave
I would love to find out that you did do it and you just kind of, like, got nervous and bailed halfway through that conversation.
Francis
That would be awesome.
Harry
Did you hear Snoop Dogg's story about ayahuasca this week? He basically said that he did ayahuasca one time and it was a terrible experience. And he thought he died for 15 minutes and literally was hovering over his body, watching his. His body from, like, outside of it.
Francis
Yeah, I'm.
Dave
I'm good on that, dude.
Francis
I met a couple guys out in San Francisco who are part of the. They're members of the Bohem Bohemian Grove. Oh, you know about that?
Dave
Yeah. Yeah. That's pretty crazy. Are they like.
Francis
So it's like. It's not crazy.
Dave
Yeah. Coming from three guys that are members of Bohemian Grove.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
It's actually pretty laid back, bro.
Francis
Bohemian Grove.
Harry
The kids want to be there.
Dave
We were making.
Francis
We were making the joke. They were like, if anything, it's gay.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
It's just men going into the woods and listening to folk musicians play the guitar.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
And talking a little bit with. With like, the head of the treasury about what interest rates are going to do in the next year.
Dave
Yeah. Where'd you meet what interest rates are going to do?
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
They're deciding if we should invade Iran or not. I'll tell you why that's what's happening.
Francis
And I hope my dad wouldn't mind saying that. My dad's Ben, and he's the most normal person alive. He's not out there burning children at the fucking stake.
Dave
That's what you think.
Francis
I know.
Harry
I would never disparage your father.
Dave
Would hope. I'm not going to disparage your father
Harry
either, but it's like his dad, Lev, who won't you disparage phenom? This is you.
Dave
This is all you.
Harry
What did he say about it?
Francis
He said it was cool. Like, you know, you. You see interesting people. There's really talented artists. There's like artists that come and, you know, tell stories or they play music or whatever. And then other than that, it's just like rich dudes and.
Dave
But I thought all the most of the history was from, like, more in the past than it is now.
Francis
I mean, it's still pretty vibrant now they go. It's a certain number of weekends of the summer.
Dave
I tried to watch a documentary about it and the only one that was out there was made by Alex Jones.
Francis
Yeah, exactly.
Dave
I think it's like him narrating the whole thing.
Francis
By the way, if you're still aligned on anything in the world with Alex Jones, you need to kind of go another way. I think he's been at this point discredited. Well, he's fully compared. That's like.
Dave
He's been compromised for a minute since Israel took over.
Francis
Sure. Okay. Jesus Christ. Anyway.
Dave
Well, it's true. I mean, he had all these opinions and then all of his opinions completely
Harry
180'd what do you think that that has anything to do with that massive lawsuit that he lost where he has to pay a billion dollars?
Dave
Yeah, he doesn't have money like that.
Harry
It doesn't have the cash.
Dave
I mean, he's a piece of. He's a bad guy.
Harry
He doesn't have the cash to freely think anymore.
Dave
He's a bad guy, but he's also compromised. Okay, that twisted.
Francis
Well, either way. My point is that at the Bohemian Grove, that the somehow conspiracy theory latched on, found it latched itself onto it. And then these guys that I was hanging with who are normal and like, one of them had gone recently. He said that as he was driving out of it after the weekend of like, you know, camping and doing all this fun stuff and getting fun up. That, like, as he drove out of the gates of the forest or whatever, there were like 40 paparazzi slash conspiracy theorists, like, with their cameras desperately trying to get shots of whoever was leaving.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
What a. How pathetic. Imagine staking that out.
Dave
I wanna. I wanna be on your side here, but I'm having a hard time. I'll be honest.
Francis
I guess my point is if you do assume that there is nothing going on there. Yeah, that's pathetic.
Dave
If you assume there's nothing going on.
Francis
But that is my assumption, because my dad went.
Harry
Yeah, yeah.
Dave
I mean, look, I don't think it's
Francis
like, maybe my dad's like, we can't trust him. We're not going to show him where we fucking filet.
Dave
The kids talk about it on his podcast.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
His son's got a big mouth. It's like they showed him what North Korea shows tourists. This is where we have our folk songs.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Well, you can't.
Dave
Campfires.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
S'.
Harry
Mores.
Francis
Would you like a s'?
Harry
More?
Francis
Mr. Ellis?
Dave
Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I don't. Again, I really don't know when the cops show up.
Francis
And what's that movie where they have the house party and it's like Project X.
Dave
It's a great movie.
Francis
And all the people are in the back just quietly like.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
Have a good evening.
Dave
Have you ever seen that Friday beer sketch with Where Will Angus? He's like, shows up on the 4th of July by.
Francis
Yeah, I did.
Dave
And they're all hiding under the balcony.
Francis
That was pretty darn good.
Dave
Very funny. I don't know a lot about Bohemian Grove. I, I, I heard about it, I think, on a War Mode episode. And then I tried to, like, do look into it, and then I couldn't really find anything. I would assume it's probably. There's probably nothing crazy happening there.
Francis
Correct.
Harry
It's crazy not to. If, if you think that there's, like, pedophilia going on to, like, wait by the gates and try and grab a picture as opposed to trying.
Francis
What are you doing? Like, that's not helping.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
Do you really think kids a couple miles away, down in the woods that are, you know, getting abused? Yeah.
Dave
Let's get a closer shot maybe.
Francis
Let's, let's, let's get photos of the perpetrators.
Dave
Are there any, like, notable, like, famous people that have gone there? I mean, I know, like, like presidents,
Harry
like Ronald Ray or. No, like Richard Nixon or some shit. What am I thinking of? Camp David. I know they all went to Camp David, but there was, like, some singing in the woods.
Dave
Well, isn't Camp David, like, a part of, like, the government owns it?
Francis
The what? Yeah, that's the president sort of retreat.
Dave
I think the idea there was like, let's build a Bohemian Grove just for the president.
Harry
Bohemian Grove, East Coast. If you're a pedophile, but don't like long plane rides. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Dave
You're not really in for that long flight.
Harry
Get a home.
Dave
Imagine Camp David.
Harry
We just got the brochure for Camp David.
Francis
What
Dave
can we, can we look up celebrities that have been to Bohemian Grove?
Harry
Also, like, are they paying the folk singers?
Francis
And also, like, I think that artists get some kind of free membership. Like, you can be an artist member,
Harry
but you have to perform every time.
Francis
There's an expectation that you will do, like, you will present your art in some way.
Harry
So it's a corporate gig.
Dave
Yeah, yeah. And they're getting them. They met. You must get paid. You should have honestly tried to get in on that, Francis.
Francis
Well, I just have no Idea, really. I don't know my much myself about what the point of doing it is other than kind of making connections.
Dave
Jimmy Buffett. All right.
Francis
It's good people there. Conan o'. Brien.
Dave
Conan and Jimmy Buffett.
Francis
Jimmy Buffett.
Dave
I think this might. This place might rule.
Francis
Yeah, exactly.
Dave
Imagine being out in the woods with your boys listening to a live Jimmy Buffett concert.
Francis
I knew Henry Kissinger went. I knew that. Yeah, I mean, it would be cool to, like, listen to the world leaders and thought leaders tell you guys. Kind of a little bit more of the inside scoop on what's happening with, you know, foreign policy and, I don't
Harry
know, going camping with Michael Bloomberg sounds like ass.
Francis
Yeah. But I think that a lot of the camps are much more like glampy.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
I think you can kind of really judge it up a little if you go with the right people.
Harry
You know who I think has a camp like that? Fucking Papa John. Oh, no, no, not Papa John. Jimmy John. On.
Dave
Oh, wait, is that. It says Nixon said. Longtime member who famously referred to the camp in tapes as the most faggy goddamn thing you can ever imagine.
Harry
And that's Nixon. That's Nixon saying it.
Dave
That's crazy. I haven't heard that word in a watt. Faggy, like an adjective.
Harry
Yeah. Well, I mean, that was probably 68 when he said that. You. When did your dad. Dad go?
Francis
Once they stratified it.
Dave
Yeah. Once it wasn't gay anymore.
Francis
Once my dad was like, okay, now we're good.
Dave
So does that mean that Nixon wasn't a fan of it?
Harry
Or was that like he's saying, singing a ringing endorsement.
Francis
Yeah, he went all the time, but he thought it was gay. And that's kind of what I said. That started funny.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
It just sounds great, but sometimes a guy. Guys gotta. Gotta hang out with guys in the woods.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
Come on. What are we talking about?
Harry
So they're like Boy Scouts.
Francis
Where are we supposed to hang out? It can't all be on the golf course or at the.
Dave
No, sometimes you gotta get. You gotta hit a creek sometimes.
Francis
Yeah, you gotta get to a creek.
Harry
Can't just be in the discord.
Dave
No, no, you gotta. You gotta touch grass. Like, people joke about it, but you really do.
Francis
Yeah, you gotta smell earth. You gotta rub pine SAP on your fingers.
Harry
You gotta unite the clans, too.
Dave
Did I even tell you guys about the moose that we saw in Wyoming? Oh, it was crazy. We've seen a bunch in Wyoming. Wyoming. Like, the place that we usually go in northern Wyoming, we see like hundreds, and they're like right around where we're fishing and you just got to be like, super alert the whole time. This place that we were at, like, we. There was. We were kind of under the assumption that, like, there's pro. We heard coyotes at night, but that was it. There's a ton of like, cattle around, so we were like, there's probably not like bears or anything like that. We saw one moose the whole time. And it was like we were turning the corner of a riv. A river on the beach bank and we saw. We saw the moose and it was sitting down across the river, like very like probably like a hundred feet. And. And then it got up and it was. When it got up, it was the size of like,
Harry
it's like the room. Like the size of the room.
Dave
Like, like a. Like a ram pickup truck.
Francis
Wow, that's a good comp. I was wondering what you were going to pull.
Dave
Like, like a literal house.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
And then it starts running towards us. It crosses the river towards us. And we immediate, like it crossed the river, which, by the way, was so deep, like, we couldn't cross the river because it was like up to our necks.
Francis
Right.
Dave
It walked through the river.
Francis
Their legs actually extend down.
Dave
That's what it looked.
Francis
When they go into the.
Dave
Its body did not get wet.
Francis
They. It's like a tripod. They unhook one of the buckles, circles,
Harry
and you can lengthen it out.
Dave
Yeah, yeah. It's like kick.
Francis
Yeah.
Harry
The spider from Wild Wild West.
Dave
Yes.
Harry
Yeah, it was.
Dave
And then it. And then we started walking the other way and luckily it turned. It turned the opposite way, bro. When it turned and it started running. I've never seen a moose run like that. I mean, it must have been going 100 miles per hour.
Francis
What was your plan when it started? What would you have done?
Dave
We had bear spray.
Francis
So, like, does it do moose?
Harry
Moose.
Francis
Are they.
Dave
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Francis
They acceptable to that? It would.
Dave
I mean, it would. It would. Yeah, it would definitely respond to that.
Francis
Can you climb a tree to get away from a moose? Yeah, that's probably.
Dave
There were no trees around. Like, the thing is, like, moose are mostly in like, meadows with a lot of like, bushes and.
Francis
Oh, interesting.
Harry
Who has that? Who had the bear spray on them? All three of you?
Dave
We tripled up.
Harry
Did. Were you guys. Were you guys like locked and loaded when you saw it? You guys all had hands on weapons?
Dave
Yeah, of course.
Francis
Really?
Dave
Yeah, bro. You're walking through the woods with your hand on it the whole time.
Francis
Holy.
Dave
Dude.
Harry
Really?
Dave
Because, dude, you like the it's not like when you get in, at least from what I understand. Like, I. I don't think it's like when you get attacked by or you get, you know, like, attempted to be attacked by, like, a moose or a bear. It's usually not like they see you from a mile away and they're like, I'm gonna kill this person. It's usually like you scare them and it scares you and then it attacks you. So it's like if you're going through, like, the deep woods and stuff, stuff. Like, you have to be, like, making a lot of noise so you know, you're walking and you're just constantly. You're like, hey, moose. Hey, moose. Like, stuff like that.
Francis
Wait, do you say, hey, moose or hey, bear?
Dave
It depends on what. What area you're in.
Francis
You know, which neighborhoods belong to which.
Dave
I mean, you kind of can get an idea. Yeah.
Francis
Why?
Dave
Because, like, if you're better schools, bears are not going to go to places where there's people or there's like, any signs of people. Like, they're like, they will, but they won't.
Francis
They have bigger backyards.
Dave
Yes. They're in the deep, deep woods. So, like, the place that we hiked the first half of the trip, like, that was like grizzly country. Like, we. When. When Bo talked to the rancher that owned it, he was like, this whole area is called the kill zone. And he said that the elk come through here in the mornings and the bears camp out and then they take down the elk.
Francis
That I thought bears. I thought bears were, by and large, plant eating.
Dave
Oh, I mean, I'm sure it's a little bit of everything.
Francis
I mean, they eat salmon. I know. Yeah, but I thought, like, grizzly bears, by and large. I didn't know a grizzly bear would eat an elk. Can you look that up, please, Tyler?
Dave
That's what the guy told us. Unless he was just with us, which I did have some suspicions about.
Francis
I wouldn't have.
Dave
Are you sure that guy wasn't just saying that to, like, make us scared? He said the area that we were camping in, they called it. He said that's where they get all their kills.
Francis
Wow.
Harry
Yes. They eat oak.
Francis
Okay, you learn something new. Listen, they eat large. I don't need to know. I don't know who. That I'm stupid.
Dave
You've made it this far in your life without knowing it.
Francis
Yeah, exactly. If someone tells me there's a kill zone nearby, I'm going the other way.
Harry
All right?
Francis
I'm smart enough to Know that we
Dave
had already set up our camp completely and just decided, yeah.
Harry
When the three of you guys walk, who walks first?
Dave
Surprisingly, on the way there, it was me.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Wow.
Dave
I was leading the charge because.
Harry
So that means you have to be the one to discharge your service weapon if he comes at you, because if one of the guys in the back shoots the bear mace, the rest of you guys are going to get fucking crossfired.
Dave
If we came across a bear in a situation where we needed to use the spray, we all would have gotten fucked up, the bear included and all of us included.
Harry
With the mace.
Dave
With the mace, bro. We have three. The bear spray it. It's like, probably the size of, like, this bottle. It completely disposes of all of the spray in five seconds.
Francis
Oh, you got one shot.
Dave
You have one. They say you're supposed to, like, kind of, like burst it, like, tap it.
Francis
Otherwise the barrel gets too hot or
Dave
the barrel gets too hot or it just dumps it.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
But I guarantee, like, if, like, it's easy to say in the moment. If we came across a grizzly bear, it would have been all, you're emptying the clip, just spraying that shit everywhere.
Francis
Yeah. You know what I would have done?
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Done?
Francis
I would have thrown it into its mouth and then pulled out jaws 22.
Dave
Yeah. That smart Jaws style.
Harry
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Dave
Mythbusters did a thing and said that that wouldn't have worked.
Francis
Mythbusters. No.
Dave
Come on. Mythbusters needs. That was a great show.
Francis
I prefer my myths.
Dave
Myth busters.
Francis
Like when I thought grizzly bears only ate blueberries.
Harry
Myths are important, though. Myths are important to the building of. Of societies.
Dave
I think Mythbusters was, like, peak life
Harry
in America society busters.
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
Once they busted, all the myths, like, fell apart. We need our myths.
Francis
I would always go from Mythbusters to nut busters.
Dave
Oh, yeah.
Francis
Which was just porn.
Dave
Yeah. Crank. Just get a quick crank in. After. After your myths have been busted, I
Francis
would go right under, right from mythbusters into nut Busters.
Dave
My favorite myth just got busted. I'm gonna have to jerk off. Feel better.
Harry
I just saw a bald guy with a mustache do an experiment, and I'm rock hard.
Dave
I mean, that was peak. Like you. You were like. I was a kid kid. You throw on Mythbusters that episode. Maybe you've seen that episode. Then you throw on Deadliest Warrior on Spike.
Francis
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's quest.
Dave
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Harry
If that did. That show did. Makes being a scientist and an engineer seem cool.
Francis
Oh.
Harry
And there's nothing that does that Anymore.
Dave
No, nothing.
Harry
Scientists and engineers look like losers now because of the AI development.
Dave
And then you say you're done with that, you throw on a little river monsters.
Harry
Yeah, that looks cool.
Dave
I mean, they had every everything.
Harry
Or a cheerleading competition on ESPN too.
Dave
Exactly.
Francis
Sure.
Dave
They got nothing. Any. Like, I. I turn on the TV now and I don't even know what to watch.
Harry
Same my tv. My TV went alphabetized instead of numerical recently. And I don't know how to change it back. It's been devastating.
Dave
That's pretty. It's pretty brutal.
Harry
It was dark as hell.
Dave
I mean, are you on K? Are you still ripping cable?
Harry
I rip it all, but of course I keep cable.
Dave
Like, if you're watching like it say, we. Obviously we got ball coming up soon.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
Which I. I mean, I need it. I need it more than ever. I don't think I've ever needed it this bad.
Francis
You're starting to feel that the ball's coming.
Dave
Oh, it's been. I've been itching for a minute.
Harry
This Sunday is there. There'll be football on this Sunday and then every Sunday until February 19th or some.
Dave
But the super bowl, it's almost like. It's like if you like I. I want football back so bad. Bad. But if you're really sitting down and you're watching those preseason games. You're a lunatic.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
That's your sick. You're. You're addicted to football.
Harry
Yeah. Well, it's baseball level. Autism.
Dave
Yeah. Trickling guys that aren't even on the
Harry
team play in the fourth quarter of that.
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
See if you. I want to see who the. The best guy in the 90s.
Dave
Yeah. Throw one ball. A.J. brown won't even be there. Reading on the side.
Francis
Sideline.
Harry
You saw A.J. brown with that drop.
Dave
Wow.
Harry
There was like a back shoulder throw. Drake May hit him in the hand. He dropped it.
Francis
Watching. Watching the owners talk about how much budget space they have.
Harry
I wonder if Bohemian Grove was talking about the Telluride Bush.
Dave
Probably. They probably want to get in as partners.
Francis
Could well be. Bohemian Bush.
Dave
It's actually a great name.
Harry
Bohemian Bush. There's some commercial like that they talk about a girls trip to Telluride. Always makes me think you brothers. You guys ever gonna get out to tell you ride?
Dave
We were gonna go there. Me, Me, Bo and Matt were gonna go there instead of Wyoming.
Harry
Is that still on the table?
Dave
What?
Harry
You guys going on another trip this year?
Dave
No, not this summer. Definitely not. But we're going in the winter. We already have one.
Harry
Really? Where are you gonna Go the Bahamas.
Dave
Us.
Francis
Oh, bone fishing.
Dave
Oh, yeah.
Francis
So hard.
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
Cool.
Dave
But it's gonna be like that. We, we, we.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
We've.
Dave
We've weighed the options. Like, it's already hard. Like, it's. Fishing's hard regardless. Especially fly fishing. Like, it's not easy. I would much rather get skunked and then be in the Bahamas.
Francis
100. Yeah, spot on.
Dave
I'd much rather not catch anything and be in the Bahamas than not catch anything and be.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
Surrounded by mosquitoes in the woods.
Francis
Seems like they're not biting today, boys. Time for pina colada.
Dave
Yeah, exactly.
Francis
Luckily, we have massages in half an hour, so. Yeah.
Harry
Bo and Matt driving into the Ocean Club and Aston Martin. Like Daniel Craig and the James Bond.
Dave
Yeah, it's going to be sick. And also, Beau's dad has done this trip. Like, he does it, like, every year with his, like, best friend.
Francis
Bo has a dad? I thought he just, like, appeared.
Dave
No, he's a great angle.
Harry
That's like when you saw the video of clavicular's dad. Did you see that? I didn't clavicular with his dad, and
Dave
I know his dad, like, hates him.
Harry
His dad was, like, such. You could tell he was, like, such a good dad. He was, like, so happy.
Dave
Oh, I did see this. Yeah. When he's a kid. In his clavicular as a kid.
Francis
Yeah.
Harry
He graduated and his dad was like, come on. Like, he's, like, rubbing him. And it was so.
Dave
But don't you always wonder with that? Like, it's very easy for the dad to appear to be a great dad. You don't end up with clavicular. And you're great. You're. You're not just a great dad.
Francis
That's not necessarily true. I think that so much can happen, happen. I think parents can get everything right and kids can still turn out shitty.
Dave
But this isn't like your kid, you know, maybe he drinks too much.
Francis
This is.
Dave
Your kid is smashing his face with a hammer every night to try to rework the structure of his jaw.
Francis
Has such a reductive view of women.
Dave
That can't be. Like, your parents did a phenomenal. Like, like, maybe they did a good. They did something wrong at the same time. He's, like, 18.
Francis
Yeah. Yeah. But I think you could also. Right. You're right. I don't know.
Harry
I think.
Francis
I think he just, like, found hype.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
You're making clout and was like, I'm gonna follow that.
Harry
Yeah, but he knows a lot of the terms. He's. I'VE heard him say hypertrophy too much for it to just be him riding a trend.
Dave
He doesn't seem like he's like dumb like it seems like he's very well. Like he understands what he's talking about.
Francis
Yeah, I think he's. He struck a nerve and then continued to hit that nerve.
Dave
Yeah, I mean he's got to be making millions of dollars. So I guess it's not the worst.
Harry
Yeah, it broke my heart seeing him, but I thought that he had just spawned same way Bo did.
Francis
Yeah, right.
Harry
So are you going to. Are you. So you're going to be on a boat down there?
Dave
No, no. That's waiting as well. Like you're just walking flats.
Harry
You're going to be walking the flats of the Bahamas.
Francis
You can do it from a boat though.
Dave
Oh yeah. It's way easier. Significantly more expensive.
Harry
I'm on. Just got a hotel down in the Bahamas, the Bahaman.
Francis
That's actually what they're. No, that's pretty sick.
Harry
That would be a good name. I don't know if anyone's gotten that across their desk.
Francis
We with foreplay. One of the coolest trips we ever did was down there. We went to this place called the Abaco Club with. Good, good. And it was the most beautiful place.
Dave
Did you have to take like. Like another flight once you went ended.
Francis
How did we do it? No, we flew right into. We flew right into Nassau. Maybe it was Nassau, but maybe it was also some other small, slightly smaller place. I don't know.
Dave
The.
Harry
The.
Dave
The place that we're gonna go. I think we gotta. We gotta take like a tiny plane once we land. Like a six person plane.
Francis
Yeah. Puddle jumper.
Dave
Yeah. That might be too much for. For your boy.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
I don't know. I don't know if I got that in me. You've got done it.
Harry
I have. Yeah. And I don't like it. I've been on multiple places where you have to like go, go like multiple stops on the way somewhere. It's terrible.
Dave
How long are those flights?
Francis
Something very disconcerting about knowing there's only one pilot flying the plane on a plane that like. It's just like if. Dude, if you have a you. If that guy's.
Harry
We're all.
Francis
You're looking around, you're like does anyone play video games here? Does anyone do flight simulation?
Dave
That's the next step. We were to my. Me and my buddies were talking about it last night. Like the. The what comes after this phase of video games. It can only be just super realistic. Simulators.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
Right.
Dave
Just driving around on the tractor all night,
Francis
guys. I'm feeling a little cooped up. I'm going to go out and mow.
Harry
You guys want to meet on the tractor in 15 minutes?
Francis
Yeah, I'm going to go mow the yard.
Harry
Bro. Z would do the train conduct. He would run like lira off.
Francis
Bro.
Dave
He would do the subway. Like. Yeah, he'd just be in New York. I'm going up to Queensborough.
Harry
Yeah. I'm going to the Myrtle. Myrtle Woff.
Dave
That's definitely the next step. I played so much Counter Strike this weekend and it's just. I've just gotten to a point where I just. I don't know how much more I can give. You know, I've given everything I have.
Harry
The game's not asking any more of you.
Dave
It's just like, bro, I. I don't know. And would I be li. I would be lying if I said this didn't have. This wasn't a big factor in the weed break. I got it. I got to get back to just clear headed gaming. Gaming.
Harry
Wow, that's sad.
Dave
It's sad, but it's also good.
Francis
You're saying that your gaming was not. You didn't do well because you were too high.
Dave
I can't. No, I can't tell if it's the weed has slowed me down so much that I'm so bad at games now or if I've just gotten older and I'm just not good at games anymore.
Francis
I. I see.
Dave
All I know is I was playing Black Ops 2 this weekend and it was like I had never left. I mean, I was probably the best player ever.
Harry
When you're off the weed.
Dave
What do you mean?
Harry
What is this once you quit weed or is this even before that you were still sick at it?
Dave
No, no, this is before.
Harry
Okay.
Dave
I was still sick at it. Just Counter strike, bro. I. I'm so like.
Francis
So weed is specifically causing issues for you in Counter Strike?
Dave
Well, it's causing issues in a lot of different places.
Francis
Game specific game problem, I think is
Dave
where I'm noticing the cognitive decline.
Francis
But you said it's.
Harry
You sound like Joe Biden. The cognitive decline.
Francis
You said it helped you in Black Ops, though.
Dave
No, it doesn't help with anything. It doesn't help.
Francis
But it didn't hurt you.
Dave
When I play Call of Duty. Doesn't hurt because I'm already like, I know how to play Call of Duty.
Francis
I think your incredible run in Black Ops proves that weed is not the problem.
Dave
I don't know what the problem is?
Francis
I think it's that you're not smoking enough.
Dave
I don't think. I think it's just. I'm not Russian. I'm not good at counterattacking. Counter strike. You play against these guys. They're all Russian. They've all been playing it since they were three years old.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
And they're all so good. It's like if you tried Francis, it was like if you tried as hard as you tried to be good at lacrosse as a child and then you, you were the worst player ever.
Francis
I mean, I think that's true for people, that people experience that.
Dave
But with like a video game, like, it shouldn't be like, like that.
Harry
I don't.
Francis
Why not? I mean, if you, if you liken video games to sports and some people are going to be inherently talented and have the capacity for.
Dave
We're talking about, like, I, I understand that. Others don't, but this is not excellence. We're talking about, like, I mean, the worst lobbies that you can be in and I'm the worst player.
Francis
I don't believe those lobbies. I think you're being a little dramatic. I don't think you're bad.
Dave
I'm not.
Francis
I'm swear if I picked up a controller to my tomorrow, you would kill me.
Dave
No, I don't think I. In this game. I genuinely think it would be pretty even.
Harry
I think we could probably set that up.
Dave
We couldn't. We have no way of doing it.
Francis
There's no way.
Dave
It's not a controller game. That's why it's a PC. It's mouse and keyboard. It's my first time playing a game on mouse and keyboard.
Francis
You're right. We can't find another person that has a computer.
Dave
No.
Francis
In New York City.
Harry
Well, maybe that's why you suck because you just suck at the, the like mechanism of the game.
Dave
I do.
Harry
Well, that's it. So don't be so hard on yourself. Maybe, maybe a little self love. Maybe a little ayahuasca.
Dave
You have to do like your 10 placement mat. You have to do 10 placement matches to get your. You have to win 10 matches to get your rank. For the new season, which just began. I got my 10 placement. I finished them on set on Friday night. I literally almost cried when they gave me my rank. It was like. It was like, what, what did I just do? I would have been better off just not playing.
Harry
Only college you got into was the community college type vibes.
Dave
Like was like the only college you got into was like, and you got denied from one of them. From a community college, bro.
Francis
What? I saw this clip of Mook getting ranked.
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
Gold 3.
Dave
This was worse than that.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Gold 3. 3.
Francis
But what was bad about that? Why is that bad? Why he was so disappointed. He went Gold three.
Dave
Gold three is really bad.
Francis
It's bad.
Dave
Really bad.
Francis
Because it looked like he had achieved something because he did it.
Dave
He. It's. It's the same for every game. Like that game, Call of Duty, they just started a new season, so you have to do your placement matches again. He completed his. And you get put in a rank based on those matches. I see Mook prior to that was diamond three, which is pretty good. But also the Brank system in Call of Duty has been broken. Which Mooks always been Gold 3. But this specific season, he was like what people would consider a good rank. Like a top.
Francis
What are you?
Dave
I don't play Call of Duty anymore, so I don't know what would be if I can't. It's hard for me to say, but like, if Mook is Diamond three, I'm iridescent. I'm top of the game. I'm the best ever.
Francis
I see.
Harry
Okay.
Dave
Which Mook's going to be so mad
Francis
hearing that you're better than he is? Would he admit that?
Dave
No, he wouldn't? No.
Francis
Is Jerry as good as you are?
Harry
He is.
Francis
Give the ranking. You, Jerry and Mook. Who's the best, who's the worst?
Dave
If I'm playing consistently, it's me. If I'm not playing consistently, it's Jerry.
Francis
So Mook's the worst? Yeah. Yeah. That's so sad. He's really thrown everything in behind this.
Dave
Well, he's not. I mean, it doesn't matter if he's good or not.
Harry
Well, that's kind of why I think phenom deserves the job.
Dave
Phenom's probably worse than Mook.
Francis
Let's put it this way, Harry. You say it doesn't matter, but I have had a litany of sports coaches throughout my life. And knowing that one of them had an illustrious career himself exactly gave me it made it easier for me to buy into what?
Dave
That's why we're not the coaches, because they don't respect our opinions based on of the game.
Francis
But your general managers or whatever, we know enough.
Dave
Like, we all know how the game works. And I would say, like, our knowledge of the game is probably above 99 of the average player because we've cons the amount of Call of Duty that we've consumed this year alone is ridiculous
Francis
amount of Call of Duty I've consumed is ridiculous.
Dave
Exactly.
Francis
My whole feed is bush clips.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
I'm like, I don't even think I follow the account. Yeah, I definitely do now.
Dave
All good, all good. I don't care.
Francis
No, I do. I do. I follow it and I find it very funny. Like that clip of Moot going gold.
Dave
Unbelievable. So, because, dude, leading up to that, I had kept on fucking with him and being like, you're not like, bro, like, if you're diamond three, I'm the best. I'm top 250 in the game.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
And he kept on being like, no, man. Like, you're like, we were joking around about it. And then he got his placement back and he was gold 3. It was very funny.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
But if Mook knew what I was in Counter Strike, like, he would never let me hear the end of it.
Francis
Right?
Dave
Like. Like he's gold 3. In counter strike, I would be considered like, like bronze one, which is lower intro. They call that like, you, like, it's like I'm the rank of someone who's just picked up the game for the first time.
Francis
Right.
Harry
Sad, bro.
Francis
Sorry to hear that.
Harry
Just give that shit up, bro.
Francis
I know.
Dave
I'm going to Ron. I was listening to. Jerry did a podcast with Optic the. Yeah, yeah, Hitch.
Harry
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Dave
He was talking about you on it.
Harry
Who?
Dave
Hitch.
Harry
What did he say?
Dave
He was just saying he's like a huge battle rap fan. He said, listen to like, he said he's been. He listened to your first ever, ever battle rap, like, live.
Harry
Really?
Dave
When it was happening.
Harry
That's nuts.
Dave
Yeah, like the one where you were like, in that random, like, shop.
Harry
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's crazy.
Dave
The guy didn't have three. He didn't have three verses, right?
Harry
Yeah, yeah.
Dave
He started freestyling at the end.
Harry
Illegal.
Dave
Yeah, yeah, that's a. That's an all time one.
Harry
Yeah, that's a classic. He's. He's the man. He's always been super supportive whenever he would reach out.
Dave
Yeah, yeah, he's. That podcast is really, really good.
Harry
I just. Whenever I watch it and I just see how they just are like sitting across from like.
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
A desk from each other. I just wouldn't know where to look.
Dave
No, no, I would have. No, I was thinking about that. Exactly. Just making direct eye contact for like an hour.
Harry
It's not like a very broad desk. Like, they're both in the same camera shot. So it's like, where do you just stay you just square up with someone for a. Yeah.
Dave
I mean, it's essentially like going on like a date. Yeah, like that's, it's. It's that. That intimate.
Harry
Yeah, that's the only thing that I, I have.
Dave
I would worry about that on like anything to be like, if I had to do like Rogan at any point, like I. I'd be looking at the. I'd be looking at Jamie. Two hours straight.
Harry
I wouldn't, I wouldn't worry about it, brother.
Dave
No, I'm not, I'm not. I'm not sweating it too much, but I'm just thinking.
Harry
I'm just joking. No, I think about that all the time. Especially the most awkward is when someone has to sing and it's like. Like, where do you look when you have to sing?
Dave
Oh, like on Rogan?
Harry
No, no, not on Rogan. In like real life.
Dave
What the you mean you have to sing?
Harry
You've. You've probably never been around someone that has talking about when you're like having someone sing something.
Francis
I get what Ron's saying.
Dave
When is that ever a situation that
Francis
any of us are karaoke performances.
Dave
Karaoke.
Harry
You're a good singer. Sing this song for me. There's been.
Dave
I've had put in that a lot.
Harry
I have, I have.
Dave
Yeah. Like, people are like, give us a bar.
Harry
No, it's the other way around where I'm like, someone's gonna sing. I'm like, bro, I won't look at you, but like, can you sing that?
Dave
Oh, you put people in that position.
Harry
I've been in situations where someone else has to perform and to calm them down, I tell them I'm not gonna look them in the eyes.
Francis
Harry.
Dave
I see what you.
Francis
All this is, is that one person is singing and the other person is watching and it's awkward.
Harry
Yeah, it's cuz like, imagine looking into someone eyes.
Francis
The whole point.
Harry
Someone's eyes.
Dave
I get it now. I get it now.
Harry
It's like a Usher concert. If you look into their. Who's ever sang on Rogan?
Dave
I'm sure you know that one dude did for sure. You know. You know who?
Harry
Richmond north, of course.
Francis
Oh, that guy. I thought you were going to say
Dave
Kanye, the singer on Rogan.
Francis
Yeah, fair enough. Yeah, that was so fun.
Dave
They had him doing shows at the Mothership. I remember what a weird time that was.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
Imagine buying tickets to a comedy show and then there's just a guy singing about how like the government's us. What the happening right now? Thought this was supposed to be like, the comedy capital of the world.
Harry
Do you think anything. I know standup's in a weird place right now. Obviously still thriving, but just in a different place. Do you think any of that had to do with the fact that, like, language was so, like, strictly policed for a while, and then, like, some comics and some places you went, you could start hearing things, words and ideas that you hadn't been hearing, and then, so it was, like, refreshing for people to go out and be like, I'm hearing slurs again.
Dave
Yeah, definitely.
Harry
And then, like, after a while, like, everybody started using that as their, like, way to get people in. And so it was, like, diluted. And that's less exciting for people because they could just turn on, like, any podcast and hear that or, like, any.
Dave
Yeah, I mean, I think the, I mean, the. Shane always jokes about it, but, like, the pendulum swung, like, too far back, came back swinging. And then it's just now you got everyone on stage just saying retard and
Harry
slurs and that Bohemian Grove is faggy and stuff.
Dave
Yeah, yeah, of course.
Harry
But what do you think, Francis?
Francis
Yeah, I agree with all of that. I do. Like, I mean, you know, I think people celebrated it too much. And there's, like, a righteousness in, in exercising your First Amendment, whatever. If, if you feel that you're oppressed. But then when the police go back inside and stop policing and you continue to just beat that drum, it starts to get a little indulgent.
Harry
Right. When you're not being policed and you're like, look what I'm doing. It's like, dude, no one's stopping you.
Francis
Then it, then it's just, like, mean.
Dave
I just think everything at a certain point gets to a point where it's no longer cool. Like, you, like, everything is going to go through, like, ups and downs. Like if, for two years straight, if you said on was like a round of applause.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
And now it's, everyone says it, so it's like, it's not funny anymore. Like, it's still funny. Don't get me wrong. It's still hilarious, but it's not like it's, it can't no longer be, like, the punch line to a joke.
Harry
Dude. Speaking of First Amendment, I, I, I got hit with because I love the First Amendment.
Dave
Yeah, of course.
Harry
I'm insane about it, how much I love it.
Dave
I'm a 19th man, personally.
Harry
Really?
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
And that's the, the rights for women to shoot women, to shoot guns, for
Dave
women to bear arms, the right for
Francis
women to bear children, to carry Be.
Harry
I had a backup nanny the other week, and she got home one day frazzled. She's like, she was texting my wife. She's like, what? There's like, I'll tell you, like, something just happened. I'll tell you when I get home. And my wife's like, what the fuck are you talking about? Russia's home gets the, the news that they were just out in Brooklyn Bridge park and that there's a Asian lady going around filming kids coming up to the stroller and filming behind her back, like, leaning over and like, secretly film. Filming.
Dave
Damn.
Harry
Trying to figure out, like, is that she is like, has a mask, long sleeves on, and she's filming people. And then later on that week, I saw a viral tick tock of the same lady, of some guy being like, yo, don't film people's kids. Like, that's weird. And it was the same time in the same place. The nanny was shook. Like, she could tell it was weird. This lady was going up to another stroller and just filming dead in the face of these babies. Like, immediately my wife heard that, like, rushed down trying to find her. And on the tick tock, they were all, all these reports. She's at, like, Cadman Plaza. She's at all these.
Dave
She's everywhere.
Harry
She's everywhere, filming kids all over the place. And my alarm went up because I'm like, if something feels uncomfortable with kids, you have to follow that instinct. But at the same time, I love the first amendment and she is just exercising her first amendment right to film stuff in public.
Dave
But is that. I don't know. I, I like, feel like once you start, if you are, if you're blatantly hiding it, then is that against the law?
Harry
No, no, you're allowed to film. You're allowed to film people in public
Dave
and you're allowed to film kids.
Francis
There are, there are definitely limits on that.
Harry
What, what are they?
Francis
You can't, like, film upskirt videos under an escalator. Trust me.
Dave
But like, no, like, I'm not even saying that to be like, to like, like, is that actually, like, not not allowed? Like, I know it's not allowed.
Francis
Violent, you know, lewd and lascivious behavior. Yeah, thing I would think.
Dave
I don't see how it would be legal to go. Like, I, I. Well, I guess I don't see how it would be illegal either, but I don't know how that would be allowed to go around filming when you're in public.
Harry
There's no expectation of privacy.
Dave
But, like, I get that.
Harry
But I get it.
Dave
I guess it's the same as, like, the metaglasses. Like, you're not.
Harry
No, they stressed as. They were stressed as testing me. They were stress testing my First Amendment, my love for the First Amendment in real time.
Dave
But I don't know, like, at what point is that, like, the First Amendment?
Harry
No, it was the First Amendment at
Dave
that time, but now it's back to the First Amendment.
Harry
No, no, like, if.
Dave
If you just have to start putting masks.
Harry
If they beat the. Out of that, the Asian lady, my nanny or my wife, I would have had to have, like, been on their side.
Francis
Dude, there are so many Asian women filming babies in Austin, Texas right now. Oh, yeah, that was all they in Covid. They all went there.
Harry
Really?
Francis
Yeah. They were like, we can't do this in, you know, the rich belong to us towns.
Harry
It's the only place where we can safely film.
Dave
So did. What were the people on TikTok saying?
Harry
They're like, don't film people's kids.
Dave
But then where's anyone? Were you in the comments? Like, well, technically, hey, First Amendment. Yeah, my kids were filmed. Hand up. But you gotta. There's nothing we can do about this, guys.
Harry
Okay.
Francis
Yeah, sorry.
Dave
You're taking up with the founding fathers.
Francis
Sorry. You don't want your kids on camera because they're so ugly and stupid.
Harry
This is a. Yeah. It might be a precursor to human trafficking, but, like, Thomas Jefferson warned us about this.
Dave
Yeah. Like, so, like, what do you think is the. The. What's the purpose of the filming?
Harry
I mean, everybody's like. Everybody's like, trafficking, trafficking, trafficking. But I don't know how you traffic. I don't know if you traffic the. How you traffic the pictures. I. I don't know. I don't know.
Dave
I mean, if they. If that's a human trafficking thing and it's based off of one Asian, like, they must have surveillance around all of Brooklyn.
Harry
What do you mean, the Asians?
Dave
I don't understand how it could be one lady. Like, if you're. If it's human trafficking, it's a whole operation. Operation.
Harry
If it's human trafficking.
Francis
Not always.
Harry
They said that she was on.
Francis
One person can traffic another person.
Dave
That's kidnapping.
Harry
If I said.
Francis
Which is. Isn't that also kind of trafficking if you take someone across state lines? Isn't it trafficking?
Harry
I wonder if I.
Francis
What is trafficking?
Harry
It's state lines. It's definitely state lines. If I learned anything from the Diddy trials, it's state lines for sure.
Dave
But I thought it was like, if you're. If you're sending someone, something, somewhere, like they're a fucking piece of luggage.
Francis
I think we think it's just like selling someone into like, sex slavery. Yeah, I don't think it has to be all of that.
Dave
Yeah, it's probably true.
Harry
I need to find this fucking.
Dave
But like, if you're like, like. Okay, so say I'm a human trafficker. Right. In this scenario.
Francis
I can hear the conversation right now and I'm just so aware of how little we know.
Dave
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Francis
And I love it.
Dave
No, who cares? Who gives a fuck? I say I'm a human trafficker. And it's just me. I'm the only guy. There's no. I got no one helping me out. I'm doing this all myself.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
I'm going. Say I go to. I go to Central park and I start.
Francis
You don't work well with other traffickers.
Dave
No, no, I'm hard to work with.
Francis
You don't share the.
Dave
Yeah, yeah. We don't get it. We don't see eye to eye. Different morals.
Francis
You've tried.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
But you know, it just always ends up being that like someone, you know.
Dave
Yeah.
Francis
We're just.
Dave
We're just not getting along. So I take.
Francis
You don't like people micromanaging.
Dave
Yeah, exactly. Exactly.
Francis
Right. Okay.
Dave
I get people rushing me. I don't. Yeah. Telling me I gotta act on this when I'm. I'm not ready yet, you know.
Harry
You're a slow burn.
Dave
Yeah, exactly. I like to be careful, you know, I don't want to take any risks.
Francis
You have different tastes and targets.
Dave
So I'm out in Central Park. I got my metaglasses on. I'm flashing pics of all the kids, children, everything I can get. Right. What happens next? So now I go home, I've got all these photos of all these kids and I'm looking at them. What are the odds I'm ever going to see one? Like, what are the odds that Asian lady is ever going to see one of those kids again?
Francis
Why does she need to. What are you talking.
Dave
Because she's human trafficking. So, like, what's the next. Like, how does the next step.
Francis
Oh, she's probably. I guess in theory she would be selling the photos to creeps online.
Dave
Maybe just Google kids and stroller. They all look the same.
Francis
That's like saying, I'd hate to make this. But that's like saying, just watch porn.
Dave
Yeah, no, I get it's a up conversation to have and it's in sense.
Francis
I. My guess Is that some human trafficking pedophiles? Like the reality genre? Yeah, probably little up Asian woman is like the Bong Su Kim of or whatever, that Korean, you know, parasite director. But that's photographs.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
I'm imagining like the lady in prisoners, you know what I mean? The mom in prisoners who's like running the whole thing.
Francis
Yeah. You think that's who the Asian lady is?
Dave
No, that's why I'm saying like, I don't see. I think the Asian lady is just a weird lady who's taking photos. Yeah, I agree.
Francis
I don't, I don't, I don't. I, I agree with you that extrapolating from what she's doing to human traffic trafficking is a tenuous connection. I don't, I just don't.
Dave
I genuinely don't know how that could lead to human trafficking.
Francis
I think that people are very conscious in, at all of having photos of their children on the Internet, especially if they didn't take them.
Dave
Oh yeah, no, I do. I agree. She's fucking weird.
Francis
Yeah. But like that's just, you know, that's just leads to a visibility that like they don't want.
Dave
So what's the next, what's the next course of action here? What are we going to do?
Harry
It's just Asian hate across the board.
Dave
Asian hate.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis
That's a good answer to a lot of things.
Harry
Yeah, just, just. Yeah, like paste that one characteristic of that one woman on the entire race and like take it off. It's like make it endemic to their.
Dave
Do you think she was even a woman? Wow.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
It was a man dressed up as a woman.
Harry
It could have been like one of those hyper realistic masks that, that you know, the deep state puts on people.
Francis
Yeah.
Dave
I just feel like, I don't know. That's so weird. That's so bizarre.
Francis
Yo, yo Pa.
Dave
I, I feel like someone taking photos like behind their back of kids, it's like you're like, what are you doing?
Harry
I need to get a video. I need to show you this other guy finding it.
Dave
I gotta see this because I'm, I'm having a hard time because this woman
Harry
is literally over a straight stroller and it's like nobody else is around. But also she's like frail. Like any, any garden variety nanny is whipping her ass.
Dave
Like, do you think she's just like in, do you think there's a reality where she's just like a super old lady who's just like, loves kids?
Harry
Maybe?
Francis
Yeah. You get to that point. Remember when they let Bush senior Goose. Young women in the butt. And people found out and they're like, come on, he's got 95. I think Asian women get to a point where it's like, come on, let her take photos.
Harry
Or like you, I see tick tocks all the time.
Francis
Know it's wrong, but you know, she's from a different era.
Harry
Like, I brought my. People are like, I brought my blonde hair, blue eyed baby to Japan and they love them. You know what I mean? Maybe something like that. Just like they're fawning over it.
Dave
Yeah, she just loves children in Brooklyn.
Harry
Yeah, she's just going on a tour. Maybe it's like, yeah, she came to the US Going on a tour.
Dave
But there's also a reality where, like, this is the conversation she wants us to be having.
Harry
Really?
Dave
She's actually like, it's. This is straight out of, like taken. Like, she's.
Harry
She's Marco from Troyo.
Dave
She's talking to Putin through an earpiece.
Francis
I have a very particular set of skills. Skills that make me very dangerous to
Harry
people like you, to babies. Skills that make. Yeah. Terrify babies. I don't know why my wife's being stingy with this. I was like, can you send the video of the woman who was filming our kids? And she was like, she wasn't filming our kids in the video. Like, we're just. Bro, why are you hitting me with the semantic on the. Does you know what video I'm talking about?
Dave
Just
Harry
send, send me the video. I'm trying to make a point to the boys. I'm trying to make a point to the fellas. Here we go. Here we go.
Francis
How are they the boys?
Harry
Oh, that's. So this is the other. Oh, this is from. This is the one our nanny took.
Dave
Oh, so this is a full operation.
Harry
This is, this is a. The. This isn't even the viral one. And the bald guy in the background is the guy who eventually makes the video.
Francis
Huh. So she just walks right up to a stroller and takes a photo, dunks
Harry
her head into the stroll. Stroller.
Dave
I'm back on. I think she's just weird, to be honest. It's a weird old lady who just likes children.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
Hopefully a non perverted way. Yeah, hopefully a wholesome way.
Francis
Probably thinks they're cute.
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
And probably just doesn't really understand, like social skills.
Francis
Thinks that she thinks it's like she
Dave
can just take photos of people's children.
Francis
Yeah.
Harry
You think that that flies in China?
Dave
Yeah.
Harry
Okay.
Francis
It could just be a cultural difference.
Harry
Yeah.
Dave
I mean, I Think it. I. Yeah, that's where I'm leaning.
Harry
That's why. That's where I've always been. That's why I'm always first amendment.
Dave
You're right.
Harry
I've been first am.
Francis
Way to bring that back around.
Harry
I like it.
Dave
Yeah, I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt for now. But if I see her taking photos again in Brooklyn, is it just taking
Harry
photos or like is she good to take photos or does she have to like take a.
Dave
Does she have to. Someone has to just like remove the camera from her phone.
Francis
Kids, bro.
Harry
No, no, no. Leave the baby alone, lady. Hey, hey.
Dave
Oh no, no, no, no.
Harry
Somebody's going to call the police on her. Hey, don't recall people's kids, bro. It's the same lady in the same.
Dave
It's the same lady. That's weird. That's weird that you have both angles of it.
Harry
Yeah, that's kind of.
Dave
That's pretty crazy.
Harry
It is bro. Cuz it boom.
Dave
Leave the baby alone.
Harry
Hey, hey. Don't film people.
Dave
The baby don't want to talk you to too.
Harry
People are sensitive about their kids, bro. No one wants their kids snatched.
Dave
No, definitely not. If I had. Look, I mean if I had a kid and then someone came came up and took a photo of it, I'll be like, that's the human trafficker. Yeah, get that person the.
Francis
Away from the kids and they're doing
Harry
it to all the kids. All right.
Dave
All right.
Francis
Yeah, okay. Okay, cool. Nice solid episode fun.
Dave
We will be back on Thursday with a non banked normal episode as well. So we will see you guys then. Goodbye.
Release Date: July 28, 2026
Podcast Hosts: Barstool Sports (Dave, Harry [a.k.a. Lil Sasquatch], Francis)
Theme:
After dropping out of college, Lil Sasquatch is seeking guidance from producer Rone (Harry) and co-host Francis on navigating adulthood, forming philosophy on life, and understanding manhood. This episode weaves together coming-of-age anxieties, psychedelic misadventures (real and imagined), and classic Barstool banter.
Final Thought:
This episode exemplifies Son of a Boy Dad’s best qualities: it’s vulnerable, irreverent, and always searching for where the line is—so it can be made fun of. Whether they’re dissecting the modern comedy scene, grappling with online mobs, or just laughing at a failed “present,” these guys turn even their misadventures and anxieties into something worth hearing.
