You got it.

We're going to. No, stick with it this time.
Frankie
It's the Ivermectin.
Francis Ellis
Was it inadvertent? Is that the word you were looking for?
Frankie
I wish.
Harry
I wish that was the word that I was looking for. You say Ivermectin Invitational was the word I was looking for.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, the Internet Invitational. We shot it, I think it was in August. Yeah, that sounds right. And then it just aired and we had to keep it a secret. And I won. I won the whole thing.
Frankie
Why did you tell us?
Francis Ellis
I told you. I told you.
Harry
If you didn't tell us.
Francis Ellis
I know, like, survival.
Harry
We would have found out, though.
Frankie
Or like America's Got Talent and shit like that. Like, you can't even tell your family members.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, really. I mean, look, here's the thing. We had 30 barstool producers that were there, so the whole office knew. Yeah, there weren't very. You guys would have found out. I knew you would find out.
Frankie
And Loose Lips Fasoli blabbing his mouth.
Francis Ellis
There you go. Of course, man. I'd run through a fence for that guy. I thought. I thought it was one of the best pieces of content that I've ever seen from barstool. I've said this. I don't think that there is a way. It was absurd the way that it unfolded. You had. It was. It was so big at the start. 48 players, all the biggest YouTube golf stars, major stars like Andrew Santino, people like that. And it whittled down day after day until it was finally me, Beef and Brad Dalke, who is.
Frankie
Can you give a little background on who he is? Because he was such a likable, winning character and he's like, he was like very good at golf.
Francis Ellis
He is part of. Good, Good. Which is the, I think probably the biggest YouTube golf group that there is. Definitely. They're kind of like, they don't swear. They're all good people and they market a little bit to like, fathers and their young sons. I think that's their, like, demographic to the degree that we've collaborated with them before. And we'll go, one video on their channel, one video on our channel, one video on their channel, one on ours. And in the videos where they're on our channels, like, we swear they loosen up a little bit on theirs. It's like clean. We got up.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And it's a similar thing to the Nate Bargazi thing where you're like, you could knock them for, you know, not allowing the word fuck to fly.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And then it's like, except that they're making hundreds of millions of dollars because nine year old boys are like obsessed with them.
Harry
Yeah, yeah.
Frankie
It's also, you don't need to swear.
Francis Ellis
You don't need to swear. But when you hear someone hit a bad shot and be like, gosh darn it. What?
Harry
Yeah, that's a little.
Francis Ellis
Was that.
Frankie
Didn't one of them chuck their club, too?
Francis Ellis
Yeah, yeah. I mean, look, all the. All the gloves came off in this.
Frankie
But isn't that guy who threw his club a good, good guy?
Francis Ellis
He is. He's also the guy that caught a bad, bad guy in the Rangefinder scandal.
Harry
The slow.
Frankie
How nice is it for you that you not only won, but, like, got to be the good guy throughout all of it. You're, like, heroic on the right side of history going against these evil, cheating, malevolent, nasty forces.
Francis Ellis
I mean, again, it's like, I don't know how you could have scripted it. If someone read the script of how that tournament was going to end, Hollywood agents would be like, this is too.
Frankie
This on the nose. It's cheesy.
Francis Ellis
This has been done 100 times by Disney. We're not making this movie again. It was outrageous. We. It was truly good versus evil.
Harry
So the good, good guy was the dude with the Rangefinder?
Francis Ellis
Yeah. I'm telling this all out of order. And by the way, fucking watch it.
Harry
Well, no, I've seen. I've seen. I just didn't know that. Said well that.
Francis Ellis
Did you watch the videos or.
Harry
No, I've seen. I've seen parts.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, I'm fully.
Harry
I'm fully know. I know everything that happens for no.
Francis Ellis
Other reason than it's. It's good. Yeah, I'm going good.
Harry
I'm going to.
Francis Ellis
But also. Okay, so, uh, we. By the way, we won't spend the whole episode talking about this.
Frankie
I think people want to hear about this.
Francis Ellis
I'll. I'll try to. I'll try to tell it.
Frankie
Big numbers. So we're kind of. We're kind of leeching off of it a little.
Francis Ellis
That's fine. I'm thrilled.
Harry
Talk about the range. Talk about the range finder situation a little bit.
Francis Ellis
I don't even know where to begin. I mean, there's so much to talk about. So we make it to the finals. The day. Sorry, let me back up. I'll start with the, like, the night. The fields, 48 people, two captains, 24 versus 24. Yeah. A tiny speck of dust explodes. I don't even know if that's how you describe the Big Bang theory, but so on the. It was like, it got. It's 24, verse 24. Somehow our team won the first day, squeaked by with points. So half the field was eliminated. After the first day, it's kind of.
Frankie
Fucked because like there. Those are some good, good golfers.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. You lost all of the Robbie Berger crew except for the Jet. You lost Andrew Santino and Rick Shields, who won both of their matches. And I thought that was kind of, in hindsight unfair. It's like if you win both of your matches and you don't advance.
Harry
Yeah, it's.
Francis Ellis
I think that next year a team that if they, if they replicate the formula, a team that wins both of its matches on the first day should be allowed to play a playoff hole against a team that lost both of its matches and is advancing on the coattails of its team. Yeah, something like that. But is this.
Harry
Are they doing this every year?
Frankie
Maybe dumb not to.
Francis Ellis
I don't know how you don't do it again. I mean, every video got like 5 million views. So you.
Harry
I mean, at this point, like, if I were you, I would just start like really focusing on your golf game. Right. That's what's going to be a yearly thing for you.
Frankie
And I bet the prosper is going to get.
Francis Ellis
Dude, I was, I was probably in the bottom third of the field as far as skill.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
I really was.
Harry
Not next year.
Francis Ellis
No, I mean, truly, dude, like, we're paying for training.
Harry
That's what money's going towards. There were so many.
Frankie
We're Asian mothers.
Harry
Yeah. We're reinvesting this money. We're gonna get a golf simulator in this, in this whole. Just for you.
Francis Ellis
Hey, I'll take it. Just me piping in remote to the pod.
Frankie
Florida all winter, guys. The connection's a little spotty.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
So it gets down to the last 12. And you got to remember that because it went 24 versus 24, then 12 versus 12 on the second day. And we came from behind on the second day to. To win. And then after fighting so hard with your team of 12 to advance the second, the last hole is over. You are now opponents, opponents. And that's a weird vibe. And we had dinner and then Dave was like, all right, if you guys can, amongst yourselves, select your teams fairly, I'll let you do it. Instead of just choosing four captains, the final day was going to be four teams of three. And at this point, you know, there's still like there's 4A players, 4B players and 4C level players left in the field. So the thought was that we, each team would have an A player, a B player and a C player tiered the players.
Frankie
Is that based on handicaps?
Francis Ellis
Yeah, handicap based on handicap.
Frankie
Your handicap is pretty low. So all the other. You were what a seat here player.
Harry
And these guys are what, like scratch.
Francis Ellis
On the final day? What like in that grouping? Yeah, I was the worst of the B players as far as on paper, but I was playing well enough that I was probably.
Frankie
You were sandbagging?
Francis Ellis
No, there's no sandbagging. If you can't. There's no handicaps. Everyone could.
Harry
There's nothing.
Francis Ellis
There's nothing wrong with it.
Harry
I would do it too.
Frankie
You're not saying.
Francis Ellis
But I don't. I didn't sit back at all until.
Harry
They find out about the meta glasses. With the built in slope.
Francis Ellis
We selected the teams. It worked out that I got to play with Brad Dahlke, who is the best remaining player by far. He played college golf at Oklahoma and won the national championship. I think for them, I think he was a deciding player. To have won the national championship for Oklahoma in golf, that's crazy. Then he tried to go pro for a little bit. I think he was having some issues with his driver. And the margins at that level are so thin that if you just have any issues at all, you're. You're fucked ultimately.
Frankie
And the issues with the driver is like that he was. He's like driving it consistently like 10.
Francis Ellis
Yards shorter than it was. More the dispersion. He couldn't keep it straight. Got it. According to him, like me reminds me.
Frankie
Of myself with your gay ass.
Harry
Irons. Irons off the tee box.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Harry
Should have told him that. Could have gone to the tour.
Frankie
My voice. Ass is iron.
Harry
Smart dogs.
Frankie
Wait, so. So you said that they let you pick the teams among yourselves and then you said somehow you wound up with Dalki.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Frankie
How did that. How did that. What? Where? Who courted who? How did you.
Francis Ellis
I didn't. I had no power to say anything. I had sauce on my face. I mean. And by the way, I addressed this in the chat bcc. But a clip went kind of viral of one of the camera people being like, francis, you have sauce on your face. And I said, I don't care. Do I look like I care? I'm wearing my goofy dumb sun hat covered in sunscreen. I'm a different shade from everyone else in the fucking field. And it was 97 degrees and bright sun in August in Missouri. So I don't care that I don't look good.
Frankie
I had to protect my shorts with like towel. Wet towels over their head just to keep cool.
Francis Ellis
And I was like, yeah, I don't. I'm not. I was like, I'm not here to bang chicks. Yeah. It's kind of a funny rejoinder. And then Paige comes over the top and says, not in that hat. Which everyone was like, wow, Paige ethered Francis. It's like she said the same thing I did. It would have been an ether if I had been like, I'm here to bang chicks. And she was like, not in that hat.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
That would have been stuffing me in a locker.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
But I was like, I look stupid. And she was like, you look stupid. It's the same tone.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Right? Yes.
Frankie
Anyway, being said, though, you got the final comeuppance against her. She was in that final match. She was kind of. She was giving it to you a little bit. She was like, guess you never played professional golf.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. She said, yeah, we wouldn't give her a putt on the first hole. That was like a 1 1/2 foot slider outside the hole. And I had a putt for bogey. And she was like, is that good? And I'm like, no. I said, if I. If I miss mine, you're good. Because then they could have two potted to win. Yeah.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
But I had a putt for bogey, which would have meant that they would have needed to make this downhill sliding putt even from a short distance to win the hole. And she said, just shows you've never played competitive golf before. And I was like, what do you mean? Like, it's. We're playing for a million dollars.
Harry
Yeah. I feel like that's the opposite.
Francis Ellis
You gotta, like, you gotta make those putts.
Harry
Yeah. It's not like stressors. They're like, here. Yeah. You don't have to finish that one out.
Frankie
We're pros here, right? We're all pros.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. I don't know that I heard her even say that quip. And then I think Brad mentioned it to me on the next tee, which really got me steaming. And I went up to her, her partner, her teammate, Melosi. I was like. He was like, don't give us those putts. And I was like, yeah, what the fuck was that about? And. And then they were like. I was like, if she wants to make this match like that, if she wants to turn it into, like, the mudslinging, barstool, fucking dirty war.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
That we know how to fight. Like, I'll happily go there. But I didn't think that she wanted to do that.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
And I think you're about to write a blog between 9 and 10.
Francis Ellis
I brought my Palm Pilot to post a blog. First hole with Paige, I can't spoil what happened, but needless to say, she sucks. No, but, you know, then she was like. I think she realized that she did not want that. And she was like, can we have a truce? And I was like, yeah, sure, whatever.
Frankie
But. So that was funny that she did that. But then later on in the eight holes later, she's like stomping down.
Francis Ellis
She gets a little unlucky in that she does something where she mats down the long grass around Melosi's ball. And then Peter Finch, who is like the moral upright kind of compass of the whole tournament, good guy, came to Brad and was like, I just saw her improving their lie.
Frankie
The moral compass, AKA the snitch of the group.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. But Brad had told him to keep an eye on them. He had assigned them this because I think he knew maybe I don't want to put words in any of their mouths, but they're a dirty team. I think Mo. There was a suspicion that Mo might not have been playing straight with what, with.
Frankie
With the rangefinder stuff or people were.
Francis Ellis
On to him about the rangefinder. By the second day, there were suspicions of that, especially in the par three course because all of the tee shots were elevated tee shots. So it was a. The one course where having slope on would have provided the biggest advantage.
Frankie
Can you explain what the. All that is to say that doesn't go off?
Francis Ellis
I feel bad for our listeners who want to hear like plane talk and Harry's diarrhea, but we're getting all the.
Frankie
Good, good crowd with this one.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. A range finder is. Tells you how far away the pin is from where you stand. And if you have an up, if the green is uphill or downhill from you, then if, even if the pin is technically 150 yards away because you're hitting it downhill, it may tell you you only need to hit 143 yard shot. Like there's seven yards of downhill.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Less that you need to hit it versus if it were a straight shot.
Frankie
That's unethical because.
Francis Ellis
Well, because some range doesn't allow slope to be on. On your range finders. It's one of those weird things. In fact, I don't think they use. I don't know if they use range finders at all.
Harry
They don't.
Frankie
Well, why would you be using one at all? Or like, why is it so like. It's like a button click away. But it's all. It's on everybody to play ethically. So you know what I mean? Like, that's almost put in too much trust in all.
Harry
Why not just use, like, the cart? Like the cart one. Did they not have that?
Francis Ellis
They don't remember. I don't think so. Maybe. I don't think so.
Harry
Good suggestion.
Francis Ellis
Either way. All week long it had been known. It was established at the beginning of the tournament that we were not allowed to use slope on our range finders. Dave was told that, like, you can use range finders. And then someone was like, what if slopes? What about slope? And he was like, well, what is slope? And he's like. Someone said the PGA Tour doesn't allow it. He's like, all right, no slope. And then he reiterated it on the second day. It was like one of those rare rules where it got into his head and he was like, we're not allowing that.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And then Mo, you know, cheated.
Harry
He's deaf.
Francis Ellis
Look.
Harry
Can he not hear?
Frankie
He got selective hearing.
Francis Ellis
I don't know. I don't know what to say about it.
Frankie
It's on camera.
Francis Ellis
You have to say anything. I'll happily say I thought was active. I think if. Even if it wasn't on in that mom, it was on all week and.
Frankie
It was on in that moment.
Francis Ellis
There's no chance to me that he did not flout that rule to some degree.
Frankie
And, well, his excuse was I had it in my hand because I was going to show it to them because I knew that there was a problem. But on the video, he has it in his hand, clicks it off, and then puts it back down. So it's not like he picked it up and like, was like news on camera and took it right over to them. He just got caught.
Francis Ellis
So red handed, he got caught. And bad golf, you know, the page thing, the matting down of the grass happens.
Harry
Oh, they were falling apart.
Francis Ellis
They bring this to us on the next tee box, which was the ninth hole.
Harry
Did you guys know at this point, like, they're crumbling completely?
Francis Ellis
No, no, they were. They were either. I think we were tied in the match and we. And going into the ninth hole, we had no sense whatsoever that they were cheating at all.
Harry
Yeah, yeah.
Francis Ellis
Either about the slope or the matting down.
Harry
Yes.
Francis Ellis
To us up to that point, it was just a neck and neck.
Frankie
And they're all really good. All three of them are actually very good at cheating.
Francis Ellis
No, you can't include Frankie in any of it. He had nothing to do with any. He truly, like, was oblivious to it and did no wrong at all.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
Just covered for them.
Harry
Yeah. No, I don't actually.
Francis Ellis
The way. The way it Worked. The way it went was that Brad said to me, like, I was just told that this is what happened with the grass. Like, what do we do? And I was like, oh, I don't know. Boy, oh, boy. I was like, what do you think we should do? And Brad was like, I think we just let it go. We won the hole anyway. And. And then he. And then I think he. Like, I thought about it, and I was like, oh, man, I don't know what to say. And Brad was like, what should we do? Which to me meant that my guy, our horse, our leader, our masters, you know, experienced Oklahoma Sooner national champion plus eight handicap guy who knows the rule book of golf front to back, was like, what do we do here?
Frankie
And he's like, barstool guy, professional comedian. Like, you got to step up, and that's your role.
Francis Ellis
I don't know. I don't even know if he was being like, go, go do it.
Harry
Hit some.
Francis Ellis
Go do the dirty work. I think it was like he couldn't get past it, and I couldn't get past it.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And I don't remember feeling like if we can get them penalized, that'll give us a better chance of a million dollars. And I. I certainly don't think that. I was like, ooh, this will create content. Yeah.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
Oh, of course.
Francis Ellis
I was, like, mad pissed off.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
I was pissed off that they'd be cheating in a match for a million dollars. That was what bothered me.
Harry
Yeah. Everyone would be.
Francis Ellis
It was not like, let's use this to our advantage. Yeah. It was like, fuck that, dude.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
Well, how many cameras are out there?
Harry
A million.
Frankie
How crazy is it to cheat when there's 1 million cameras out?
Francis Ellis
That's why I truly believe that Paige did not know that that was not allowed. Yeah, probably not, because it's on camera and it's blatant.
Frankie
So I guess she never played tournament golf.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, there you go. And she said she didn't know that it wasn't allowed. But the way this worked was as we were approaching the green on nine, Brad and I are like, what do we do? What do we do? I make the decision. I walk over to the camera guy who had filmed them on the previous hole.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
While Mo was setting up to hit the shot around which Paige tamped down the grass. And I said, hey, did you shoot that shot? And did you shoot footage before he hit it? And he goes, yeah. And I go, can I see the playback of that? We're on the green in front of 150 people.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And we're holding our hands over the lens, and I'm peering in, and I hear Dave go, what's Francis doing? And at that point, I was like, all right, this is now gonna be a thing. Yeah. And he ended up not having the footage on his camera, but another camera got it, but I didn't know where that guy was.
Harry
He wiped it. He wiped the footage.
Francis Ellis
And so without seeing definitive evidence, I was not prepared to file a formal complaint. Of course, I. If I had seen it and what actually happened, I would have gone to Dave and been like, this is fucking horseshit.
Harry
Yeah. Yeah.
Francis Ellis
But I couldn't see it and I couldn't find it. So I was like, all right. I don't know. And then they heard about it. I told that Paige was like, what are you guys doing? And I was like, someone told us this. We're not going to press is what it is. We're moving on.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
She gets very upset because this now implies that she is cheating.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
While that's happening, Joey Cold Cuts goes to Dave and tells him about the Mo Slope controversy, which instantly takes center stage on the court over anything to do with Paige.
Harry
Yeah. Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And. But the thing was that we didn't know about the slope. We didn't know that Whit and Dave and all the people that were around the whole gallery was consumed by the slope thing.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Paige thought they were talking about her, which is why she remained upset for multiple holes. And people are like, wow, you really shook her, Frances. She didn't miss a fucking.
Frankie
Yeah. She was playing so amazing.
Francis Ellis
She was. Lights the fuck out.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
During that stretch when she had tears in her eyes. I don't know. If you ever play around with Paige and she's on your team, say something horrible to her because she becomes dialed the fuck in. She was unbelievable.
Frankie
And, like, Frankie was, like, coaching her through it.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Frankie
Come on, use it.
Francis Ellis
It was amazing.
Frankie
You couldn't have picked a better final six. Everybody, like, really played a role and, like, was part of the storyline and controversy. Everybody was, like, really good. But there was, like. Everybody kind of had something going on, you know?
Francis Ellis
You know, something I didn't.
Frankie
What?
Francis Ellis
I was kind of. I thought about it. I was like, I'm kind of the one person in that final that really didn't have much going on.
Frankie
But you, like, were able to, like, when she came at you, you were able to have something and give it back to her.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Frankie
When the rules were being broken, you were the one who had, like, the chutch. But I'd Be like, hey, the rules are being broken. And I think.
Francis Ellis
I guess so. Yeah. But. But I'm. And by the way, I'm not complaining. Like, it was just. It was funny to me that as someone who often is in the center of controversy in a lot of these things, I. You know, I. I don't think that there was. I was certainly not the A storyline, nor was I the B storyline. But with that said, the Mo controversy swirls behind us. It's going on and on. Meanwhile, we're continuing to play, and it's just like Corey. It's kicking off like, people are looking at footage, and there's golf carts congregating. We're hearing yelling behind us. And, like, Mo's being pulled aside by Dave, and we have no idea what the fuck's gonna happen.
Frankie
And Whit and Dave are going back and forth. Yeah. Bet with each other and like, witch. Trying to be like. He's obviously on their side.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. And Brad is. Brad is just trying to get me and Beef to calm. Calm us down. Like, keep us focused, coaching us on what shots to hit next. The. I hit. I did hit one good shot in this period, which was a putt from off the green to an inch. But I knew at this point that I was. I was getting so fucking nervous. And we come to. We ended up winning the 15th hole, and we're up two holes coming into 16, and the trophy and the million dollars are within grasp. They are. You could reach out and fucking grab it. We're up two holes with three holes to go. If we win one more hole, it's over.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And Brad is just playing better golf than anyone I've ever seen in my life. No matter what horrible position we put him into, he bails us out time and time and time again. And I have to step up on 16 and hit a downhill tee shot on a par three with water on the left. I know if I put it right, I'm putting a short side, the pin tucked, tough pin. And I cannot feel my hands. Why?
Harry
Because you're just nervous, bro.
Francis Ellis
I've never in my life. I was saying this again on the chat bcc. Like, I. I've. In my life, when I. First time I had to. Went to kiss a girl. First time I lost my virginity.
Frankie
Second time you lost your virginity.
Francis Ellis
We're not talking my anal virginity, but my vaginal virgin when my hymen was broken. No.
Frankie
Was it your anus or their anus getting.
Francis Ellis
Getting in trouble? You know, get all these moments. Any. Any moment in my life. That I can think of where I was like that. That was the most nervous I've ever been. Piano recitals as a kid. Playing lacrosse in college.
Frankie
Your first rap battle.
Harry
Nothing.
Francis Ellis
Nothing compares to the way that I felt for the final three holes of this golf match. I stopped talking.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
I couldn't swallow. I was so worried I was going to pass out.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And I couldn't believe I was in this position. Because when you're up to. I don't know for sure if it would have been worse if we had still been tied. But my mind immediately went to. If we lose now, it will be your fault.
Frankie
You'll have blown it.
Francis Ellis
I. We will have blown the lead. We will have choked.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
We will have done the wrong thing. And I skull an eight iron over the green and ended up on the back fringe. And Beef and Brad are. Are talking. They hit a good one onto the green. And Beef is like, I'm going to hit a pitching wedge. A runner pitching wedge. And I went over and I was like, dude, do not hit a wedge. You and I need to put everything off the green. We are. You and I are in the exact same headspace right now. I can see, see it.
Harry
Running a pitching wedge is like the ultimate recipe for disaster.
Francis Ellis
I was like, dude, we need to be putting everything from off the green. And they. They disagreed.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And Beef kept the wedge in his hands and sure enough bladed it over.
Harry
Which.
Francis Ellis
Which meant that Brad then had to hit another flop shot off a tight lie.
Frankie
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Which he executed perfectly. And he puts the ball to about four, four and a half feet, maybe five feet. Which means it's now my turn to putt again.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
They are pretty much going to get in for bogey for four. So I have to make the putt to have the hole.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Right. If I had had this hole, then. No. Then we're up two with two holes to play.
Harry
Okay.
Francis Ellis
Which means they're Dormy. Which means we could tie a hole and we would have won the tournament.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
I would say that there was a 0.000% chance I was making that putt.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
In that moment there was never a chance.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Missed it. Right now we're up one. Tightening up even further.
Frankie
Two holes left.
Francis Ellis
Seventeenth hole. Beef is teeing off. Frankie hits or they tee off. Hit a perfect one. Beef tees off. Beef just didn't hit it very far.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
But it didn't matter that much because Brad was able to hit the subsequent shot so far. But Brad has like 250 in and I Remember him being like, I'm going to take six iron. And I was like, what are you fucking talking about? And he was like, I'm just so jacked up right now. I think I can get six iron there. I was like, I've never heard of someone hitting a six iron 250 yards.
Harry
No, never.
Francis Ellis
That's outrageous.
Frankie
Adrenaline was just coursing through his veins.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, I'm gonna put it.
Frankie
Yeah, I'm gonna putt from here.
Francis Ellis
A sandwich.
Harry
Putting, like bringing your adrenaline in as a factor is so crazy.
Francis Ellis
He knows that from playing so much competitive golf.
Harry
Yeah, I can hit it.
Francis Ellis
250. 256. Crazy. And he did. And. But he, but he hit it way short. I don't think he hit it perfectly. And he hit it way short. So Now I'm like 30, 20 yards from the green. They're on. And I'm like, I'm hitting a putter.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
From 20 yards off the green.
Harry
Yeah. Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And I'm never going to get that speed right.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And so I putt it. Beef has the next putt. We don't make par. They make par. It's tied.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Coming into 18. Brad is teeing off. Frankie is teeing off.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Frankie pulls this ball right into the fucking long grass. Brad hits the longest drive I've ever seen in my fucking life. And it was 600 into the wind. Down the middle, baby. Cut. 340 yards.
Harry
Jesus Christ.
Francis Ellis
On a par five. Mo gets the next shot out. They're a little ahead of us. They're a little. Yeah, right.
Frankie
No, he actually. That shot was incredible by him.
Francis Ellis
He hits a great shot.
Frankie
That was like such a tough spot.
Harry
I was just throwing the ball.
Francis Ellis
T shirt cannon just.
Harry
He's got the driver. That's just the button.
Francis Ellis
So then now I have to hit a ball. I have to hit a shot. The whole gallery is on the green. Dave Wit fucking Yan's, everyone we know.
Frankie
Robbie Berger, all those guys.
Francis Ellis
20 drums overhead. Of course, you know, the whole staff of the golf club course is out watching. They're on the cliffs like they're Ewoks.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
You know, just like poking their heads out of these caves. And like, I'm like, how did I get here? Yeah, how the fuck did I get here? One other small note. I had to drink during this.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Because I was about to throw up on myself. So I was trying to drink just a little bit to like quell the nerves. And at one point I had finished a drink and I yelled to wit, who was close to the halfway house. I was like, hey, dude, can you grab me another John Daly? He was like, sure, sure. And he brought it out to me, and I took a sip, and it was pure vodka.
Frankie
Why would you ask the guy who bet against you?
Francis Ellis
I didn't know. I didn't. I don't think I knew that he had bet against me. I think he tipped the woman, like, 50 bucks to be like, keep going, keep going.
Frankie
You asked for a John Daly, and he just has a syringe. Like, no, it's vodka, I swear. Just put it in your arm.
Francis Ellis
So I had finished that drink, you know, and I'm standing over the ball on the 18th hole. There's water long, there's a bunker, and I think water left, bunker front, right. No, just terrified. Beef is hitting after me. Yeah, I know how he feels.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
If I put him in a bunker, we're fucked.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
If I put him anywhere bad, yeah, we're fucked. Because we don't have Brad next. We have Beef next. Yeah, I have a. I take a seven iron. It was 184 yards, and I hit it so wobbly and so mediocrely that it just ended up being a perfectly fine mistake.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Fairway, 20, 10, 10, 15ft short of the green. But when I hit it, I couldn't see because it was over a small mound, and I thought it was going in the water.
Harry
Yeah, that would have sucked.
Francis Ellis
And I. I go silent. I go. They're like, oh, I don't know. And be. If you can hear Beef going, don't go in that bunker. Don't go in that bunker. And I remember watching it and being like, I've lost it.
Harry
Yeah, I've.
Francis Ellis
I've. Us.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
We drove up, see it sitting there pretty. I'm like, oh, thank God. Thank God it's not on me. And Beef can now putt. And Paige has their shot. Their third shot from the fairway. She's 160 yards in, and I didn't see this happen, but she. She didn't hit a good one. She came up short of us.
Harry
Oh.
Francis Ellis
And which meant that they're now hitting their third, their fourth shot, and they're away, so they have to go first. And this is where Frankie steps up and blades it over the green into the water. And the second he hit it, I was like, go, go, go, go.
Harry
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Francis Ellis
Get in the water. Get in the water. Did. And then they were like, okay, well, that's it. It's over. And we were like, well, hold on a second. Like, why don't you guys go drop and see if you can make it? And they didn't show this, but they ended up hitting it, taking a drop and chipping. They didn't make it. And then after Beef hit his putt on, we could have like three putted for the win.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
So they just.
Francis Ellis
So they conceded and we won. And I was so. Dude, I was so tense. This three day experience, the pressure built and built and built and built. There was never a building. And then now we can relax. Never, you know, never let up. The closer you got to the end, the more intense you felt. I didn't sleep for the last night and I just. It didn't. It. I never got to feel a feeling of euphoria from this win.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Because I was so on edge.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Where I just felt like I'd come. I'd come home from, like a war, but maybe there were still bad guys waiting around the corner.
Frankie
Kind of ptsd.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. I was just like, I couldn't settle in. So the only time I've actually been able to enjoy this was watching it back.
Harry
Yeah. Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And that was cool.
Harry
That's all.
Frankie
Watching it back was like the way that they edited it with everybody, like, congratulating Beef and like the music that they put behind it, which must have been a last minute change of the edit to, like, make it all about that and said everybody celebrating together. It was like very Beef centric. So it was like a very sweet ending to it.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. It was again, the Disney element of it. Like, you know, I almost in a way feel bad for the other team because, like, maybe if they had someone die, like, they would have been the team people were rooting for. How can you do. How can you prepare for that from a PR standpoint?
Harry
I have no idea.
Francis Ellis
It's like the entire world was rooting for us. We had Captain America and Brad Dahlke. We had beloved fallen hero Beef.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And then, I don't know, I didn't really have much of a fucking thing going on. I was just a goofy guy. I was playing pretty well. People were like, I think people were happy about that.
Harry
And you're gonna play even better next year.
Frankie
But the other two people, like, also had. They're rooting against them not just because they were rooting for you, but because there was, like two cheating things. One of them both had it. And I think people were, like, annoyed with how Frankie was, like, celebrating. I don't mind it. I love Frankie. But like, how Frankie's like, I love that.
Francis Ellis
I love that. I don't know what people would have wanted more. Like, you know, it's there. There's so much.
Harry
Well, some golf people, you know. Yeah, it's all class, dude.
Francis Ellis
I got, like, some DMS from people being like, dude, what's your handicap? There's no way you're better than, like, a 15. I'm like, I don't know how you watch that tournament and have that thought. I'm. I'm a four.
Harry
Yeah. I think everything just looks easier than it is.
Francis Ellis
Well, people just are so stupid as to not account for what that level of pressure does and how different it is to play alt shot for a million dollars in front of your boss, who is rooting for you to up, like, you go play to your handicap in those conditions.
Harry
All chat. Also, I only played it once, but when we played at the Ryder cup, that was so much harder than I thought it was going to be.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, you can't.
Harry
You can't get warm.
Francis Ellis
You don't. And you have no. Yeah. You don't get rhythm.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And you don't get any. Your teammate never bails you out.
Harry
No, I played all shot with Big Cat.
Francis Ellis
Oh, my God. A lot of that's okay. Yeah, we'll be all right.
Harry
We got to a point where we were like, as long as it's just heading towards the hole, as long as it's just in the direction of the.
Francis Ellis
Don't worry about the distance. Go that way.
Harry
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Frankie
Well, I think that we've been saying it. I think me and Sass have been saying it probably since January, but is there any more confirmation that Year of Francis.
Harry
It's the year of Francis.
Frankie
I mean, we've been saying it for so long, and you're like, no, it's not actually. You know, you're jinx it. It's November. It's late November. Like, the things that would have to happen in the last 40 days of.
Francis Ellis
This calendar year, you could. Don't you dare tempt.
Frankie
I'm not saying that, but I'm just saying year of Francis.
Francis Ellis
There is plenty of time November 17th for. For me to choke this year away.
Frankie
Golf tournament wins. Netflix show.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Frankie
Massive W's across the board. Huge podcast success, Stand up comedy out the wazoo, successful tours, sold out shows.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. And writing the book, too, you know.
Frankie
Well, the best your body's ever been.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Best shape of my life. Ready for war.
Frankie
Look, wardrobe at a different level, you know, you have to feel great about your wardrobe. I've never seen you cook so well. Your wine Collection.
Francis Ellis
So Dirty pie. All right. Yeah, look. Hi. Hi. Very kind. And you guys have been always saying this. I reflected on. I had posted at New Year's of 2024, New Year's Eve, a post of me. It was a little like, self, you know, woe is me. But I was just so down at the end of 2024, and I'd had such a bad year going through the divorce and, like, just not. I wasn't on medication yet and I hadn't figured out anything and I'd lost so much. And I was just in the pits of despair. And I posted a photo of me holding my drink and being like, you know, I'm sitting in a fucking hallway away from the party because everyone else is celebrating and reflecting on a great year that they had. And I have nothing add to that conversation because it's been a horror show. It's been a horrible, horrible year for me. And so I'm sitting alone. And here's to anyone who, like, also had a tough year and believes against all science and reason that somehow next year will be a better year. And it flipped completely on its head. 2025 has been awesome in every metric, as you guys said, like, I couldn't. I mean, I don't know what.
Frankie
Let's make him an edit right here.
Francis Ellis
Coming.
Frankie
I feel like that's like a perfect spot for an edit.
Francis Ellis
I'm so pumped.
Harry
Someday. Someday.
Francis Ellis
But, you know, free. It's. It's been great. And I really don't know where it came from. I don't know what happened. And I feel very lucky. But I also just want to share the message, which is a follow up to anybody that that post resonated with that, you know, if you're in a really tough spot, it can go to the opposite extreme. If you're. If you're willing to do, you know, what little work you need to do to make that happen.
Frankie
I was working as a court clerk.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
Just had that speech and he got an edit out of it.
Harry
I saw that.
Francis Ellis
That was good.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
50Th. Happy 50th birthday to the other Frank. But I mean, your speech was even better. Like, you need a fucking sick edit out of this.
Francis Ellis
Oh, I don't know. Well, maybe. Maybe when the year ends. I'm not. I don't want to.
Harry
When the year ends.
Francis Ellis
We're not celebrating yet, guys. There's time on the clock.
Harry
Yeah, I'm gonna get. I'm gonna get an edit going tonight. You know, it's gonna be so good.
Francis Ellis
Entire family Dies in the same crash. We're like, all right, let's delete.
Frankie
Make them fly on different planes.
Harry
Yeah, speaking of edits. So, like, we can't use music anymore. I'm trying to make an edit for my Call of Duty for Call of duty. Black Ops 7 can't use music, so I'm gonna need. I think you guys should make a song.
Francis Ellis
Oh, we could do that.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
We can make our own music.
Harry
I think that's a good idea.
Frankie
Wait, what do you mean you can't use music?
Harry
We're not allowed to use music anymore.
Francis Ellis
This is why I. This is why I. I know, but.
Frankie
I'm saying, like, just don't. Just don't link it to the. To your. Like, just use it as music and just put it. Put it on your personals and don't use it as a promo clip.
Harry
Oh, is that what the rule? I thought it was just. I think it's just non. Ever again.
Francis Ellis
I would look into it.
Harry
I haven't even listened.
Francis Ellis
So terrified of this thing. Yeah.
Frankie
I deleted Spotify.
Harry
Yeah. I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble.
Francis Ellis
Burned all my bootleg CDs. Yeah.
Frankie
I mean, these lawsuits had to go.
Harry
Out into the woods with a record player.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. Footloose, Abandoned warehouse. Harry's just like.
Frankie
Just cops knocking. Who's that? Is someone playing music? The day the music died, you think they'll get us for just saying the words of the. The songs?
Harry
Yes. Yeah, I think that was said in the email.
Francis Ellis
Well, all righty.
Harry
Let's talk about Game time. College football season is in full swing, which means tailgates, cheering crowds, and the excitement of being in the stands before kickoff are all happening too. Ever find yourself at a tailgate and decide to grab tickets last minute? That's where Game Time comes in. The GameTime app gives the advantage back to fans. And the gametime guarantee means you can trust you'll get 100% authentic tickets on time and at the best price. Plus, fees are always included. So what you see is what you pay. I was looking at tickets for the Patriots recently, and I saw some good deals.
Francis Ellis
Good football team, those Patriots.
Harry
And obviously, you know, since the Patriots are the best team in the NFL, those prices are going to be high, which is why I went over to Game Time to get some good tickets. Take the guesswork out of buying college football tickets. With Game Time down, the Game Time app create an account and use code BOYDAD for 20 off. Your first purchase terms apply again. Francis Ellis
Son of a boy. Dad is brought to you by Jackpocket. Jackpots are the talk of the town right now. Powerball Mega Millions. Everyone's watching those numbers climb. That's why we've partnered with Jackpocket, America's number one lottery app. They will alert you to upcoming drawings and always keep you part of the buzz. You can order official state lottery tickets right from your phone and get a ticket of your. Get a photo of your real tickets in the app. 73 people have already become millionaires using Jackpocket. We're excited about Jackpocket. Folks. I have a hard time whenever I see the ticker saying that the new jackpocket is. Excuse me. The jack pot is $878 million.
Frankie
Insane. It's about to be at a billion.
Francis Ellis
And I'm like, I don't even know where to go to get a ticket. I guess I could go to a newsstand, but am I going to do that? I'd much rather have it on my phone. Yeah, it's so much simpler if you're new to Jack. If you're a new jackpocket customer, get $5 in free lottery credits. Opt in and use code DAD2. That's code DAD2.
Harry
All righty. Let's talk about Lucy. Lucy is the obvious choice for the true nicotine pouch connoisseur. That's why they're the official nicotine pouch partner of Barstool Sports. Lucy pouches go up to 12 milligrams in strength and have a unique shape. That feels great. Lucy breakers are the only pouches with a hydration capsule inside. They're totally new kind of pouch only available from Lucy. Each breakers pouch contains a hydration capsule that you can crack open with your teeth before tossing it in the lip. The capsule releases a burst of flavor and helps release nicotine faster for an experience that you can't find in any other pouch. Gas station pouches get the job done. But once you've tried Lucy, you won't want anything else in your pocket. That is true. Lucy's are good. And you know what's great about them? They don't make your stomach hurt like all of those dumb gas station ones. So go try Lucy.
Frankie
I think that writer cop too, like.
Francis Ellis
Well, the writer cup helped prepare me for it. And that's the only way you can kind of emulate that level of pressure.
Frankie
Writer cup is ashtray money.
Harry
Yeah. I can't even imagine the pressure was.
Francis Ellis
I mean, I had to play Kirk one on one.
Harry
Oh, yeah. But you smoked him. Didn't.
Francis Ellis
Well, but like, I went into that knowing that would be. I mean, there was so much behind it. Like the previous year. Yeah. Dominated me. And I was like, I want to face my fears here.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And. And, and prove to myself that I can see it through. And, you know, that was why I didn't celebrate at all. I just didn't want to let myself get too high or too low and just take care of business. And that was kind of the mentality I tried to take. People were wondering why I didn't get like, rise more to the bait from Paige. It was because I had learned that for me, staying in the pocket.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
When there's a lot of golf pressure on me is the right prescription. But, dude, I mean, you know, and.
Harry
A couple John dailies.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, a couple John dailies. It was, it was like.
Harry
And Wellbutrin.
Francis Ellis
The craziest is the craziest thing. You know, I got featured on all these golf accounts. I'm doing a golf podcast later. Like, gained tens of thousands of followers. And you know, it. It is. I can't believe.
Frankie
Crazy right now.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. A lot of dudes. Great, great round. You know.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Come playing my member guest.
Harry
Real tippy.
Francis Ellis
And then I look at the club and I'm like, this place is a piece of. Definitely not coming to our.
Harry
How hard were the courses, like, in comparison to what you usually play?
Francis Ellis
I don't think Pains was all that hard. Was the part pretty open? The part three was hard because we were hitting off mats and it was like tough to hit these 70 yard flip wedges.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
I don't. You know, that's a tough.
Harry
Why are you guys hitting off mats?
Francis Ellis
That's the way their course is set up. People play that so often and so quickly that if they had grass.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
It would just get torn to pieces.
Harry
Par three courses are fun.
Francis Ellis
It was cool. Pains Valley was awesome. I think that was the other big winner. The big winners of this whole thing were Pains Valley for how well their course courses showed the editing team at Foreplay. These guys are fucking artists. It was unbelievable. Obviously Brad Dahlke, Chaz and Beef. And then people are saying I was like, number four, the four. The fourth personality winner from the tournament.
Harry
Well, you won.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, but I also didn't like. I also didn't like, embarrass yourself. Stick my foot in my mouth.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Which I often do.
Frankie
How bad was that shot by Frankie? Even when he was just like, I.
Francis Ellis
Should have put it.
Frankie
I did the thing.
Francis Ellis
It's easy to say, but they were shot behind. He had to put it close. Like, I don't know what. More like they should have been on the green also. 160 yards out. You got. You got your plus. She's a plus one. Plus one and a half handicap. She needs to put that approach on the green.
Frankie
Dave was like, you're my boy, Frankie. Like, I hate to see, like, Dave was, like, the nicest he's ever been to someone. And, like, you could tell he really loves Frankie.
Francis Ellis
Absolutely.
Frankie
You can tell that he's like.
Francis Ellis
But that was the moment.
Frankie
Frankie's getting some of the inheritance. Like, Frankie's gonna get like a. Frankie.
Harry
Might have gotten a mill on the side just for missing that shot.
Frankie
No, like. Like a will. Like, like a life insurance type of deal.
Francis Ellis
Dude. Frankie is kind of class. I will say that the way he handled that, I would have jumped into the water hazard and tied cinder blocks around my feet. I don't know how I would have handled that under. In that moment. There's no part of me that can take the, like, pleasure of the irony of what I've contributed. I'm only down.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
I think if I do what he did.
Harry
Yeah. Yeah. I don't know how I would have been.
Francis Ellis
And then it's like three or four months of waiting, knowing you're gonna have to die the death another thousand times online.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
There's like, major golf accounts out there saying, is this the worst golf shot ever?
Frankie
It's like the PGA Tour account saying, yeah.
Francis Ellis
Being like, given the circumstances, is this the number one worst golf shot of all time?
Frankie
And he's like, so good. And he's, like, worked on his game so much and got so much better. So that the most shot, the shot that he's most remembered for, is just blading it for a third of a million dollars on, like, just a low line trajectory directly into water.
Francis Ellis
Like, yeah, it's.
Frankie
It's. It's very unfortunate. One thing that did make me laugh, though, is again, in the chat, BCC group, when you were like, like, I feel bad for Frankie. He's like, one of my closest friends. Like, I really love him, and I know he just put a down payment for the baptism.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. Yeah.
Frankie
Well, down payment for a baptism is fucking insane.
Harry
Like, all right.
Frankie
I wish he had the million dollars so he could pay for A baptism. Baptism is free.
Francis Ellis
Let me qualify it. Let me qualify it. So he told me. And I think he'd be fine with me sharing this because he and I played in the skins match together the previous day.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Dave announced that each hole would be worth $4,000. And he and I played against Riggs and Andrew Austin, who's also a great dude. And we ran away with it. We won all the skins. I think we won like seven skins because we finished on the seventh hole. And Frankie had told me. He told me that before the round, he called his wife and was like. Cause their baptism party or whatever was coming up in a week or two. And I think it was like however many thousands of dollars because they were having a party too.
Harry
Yeah, yeah, of course.
Francis Ellis
And he was like, I'm gonna let you know in a day or two, I'm either going to have made money on the skins to pay for the baptism, or we will have our child's college tuition covered if I win the whole tournament. And after the tournament, he was like, we're gonna have a nice baptism. So that was, I think, what it was. And he still, you know, he still won, I don't know, 15, 20 grand, something like that.
Frankie
Is that on the skins?
Harry
Yeah, that's solid.
Frankie
But there's no runner up. There's no consolation prize for the mill.
Francis Ellis
No, no.
Frankie
That makes it even more.
Harry
That's crazy.
Frankie
Like, oh, you could be happy. You went home with 100,000.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Split three ways, dude. When I had to step up and hit the approach shot on the 18th green, I remember thinking, there is nowhere on earth I would less want to be than where I am right now having to do this thing. I want to be a million miles from. I don't want to hit a fucking golf shot right now.
Harry
No.
Francis Ellis
I was sick to my fucking stomach.
Harry
Yeah, I would be too.
Francis Ellis
And I remember being like, I don't. I don't know how to swing this fucking pool.
Harry
I'm holding. Yeah. Charles Barkley.
Frankie
What's going to be crazy next year when STEPH Curry and LeBron are in it? Yeah.
Harry
I was literally just thinking, I wonder if LeBron will do it.
Frankie
You know, he'll want to.
Harry
He's big into golf right now.
Francis Ellis
He said.
Frankie
He posted. He posted like. Like the weird thing about me, I like to watch YouTube golf videos.
Harry
And he's like, I know, that's crazy. He literally said that. Yeah. He's like, I know this is insane, but don't judge. Watching.
Francis Ellis
Don't judge me, but I have a.
Frankie
Kink But Steph is actually. I mean, he's.
Francis Ellis
He's like, scratch. He's unbelievable.
Frankie
Is he scratch?
Francis Ellis
Yeah, he's that good.
Frankie
But that'd be sick to have him in it.
Francis Ellis
Oh, yeah.
Frankie
But if he wanted, people would be like, fuck you, You've made. You're almost a billionaire.
Francis Ellis
By the way. I still don't think it's out of the question that I will not be invited to play in the tournament next year.
Frankie
That's not the case.
Harry
There is a chance that it's like LeBron, Steph Curry, Dave Riggs.
Francis Ellis
I just think it's like one of those things where I'm like, yeah, my. My only hope now is that I get invited to play again.
Harry
You definitely.
Francis Ellis
I wish that there's no way they.
Harry
Don'T invite the winners of the year before.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, they'll invite Brad, that's for sure. I might be like, remember, dude, I wasn't even in the fucking tournament. They took me out.
Frankie
Then that should be.
Francis Ellis
Hello.
Harry
I know. Sorry.
Francis Ellis
What's going on?
Harry
Just Jerry's texting me a thousand times. Let's, let's.
Francis Ellis
Let's leave that.
Harry
Yeah, that's why I'm good. I'm good.
Frankie
We call it, Call Jerry. Tell him, you know, as all of.
Harry
A sudden, my phone just started exploding. I didn't know what was going on.
Francis Ellis
It's okay.
Harry
It's only, like, nothing.
Francis Ellis
It's not like we had a conversation right before the podcast about text while you're on.
Harry
I don't get a lot of texts. Typically. I don't get, like, 75 at once. From Jersey. Jerry. Yeah, I had to make sure no one died.
Francis Ellis
Do you have crack?
Frankie
Yeah, I relapse.
Francis Ellis
Tell me you have crack. Where are you?
Frankie
Was there a chance Jerry was going to be in it?
Francis Ellis
He was supposed to be in it, and then they. His due date was, like, coincided with.
Frankie
Oh, that's why.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. So he had to draw because he's.
Frankie
Part of the Foreplay gang.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, yeah.
Harry
He's like, a lot.
Frankie
Are you going to be traveling a lot with Foreplay then? Obviously, like, this is kind of.
Francis Ellis
I think so.
Frankie
It's, like, elevated your visibility in their world.
Francis Ellis
And I don't know. I mean, I don't think.
Frankie
Well, we need you practicing.
Francis Ellis
Well, I want to be on. Son of a Boy. Dad.
Frankie
Son of a Boy. Dad's doing.
Francis Ellis
I mean, this is what I want to.
Harry
It's no longer a priority.
Francis Ellis
Well, we know you're out the door, off with your Telluride bush gang.
Harry
Oh, no, that's I canceled that. That's over. It's all golf.
Frankie
That's why Jerry's pissed.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Harry
I said I'm taking the funding for the team and putting it into Francis's golf career.
Frankie
Yeah. We're his backers. Like the World Series of Poker.
Francis Ellis
Want to give us a. Want to give us an update on Bush?
Harry
Oh, no, there really aren't any big updates.
Francis Ellis
Still moving forward, though.
Frankie
Yeah, it's going forward.
Harry
It's going good.
Frankie
It's going very good.
Francis Ellis
So well. There's an update.
Harry
Yeah, it's going well. Black Ops 7 just came out, so we're getting ready. We have. We got invited to the kickoff tournament next week, which is pretty cool.
Francis Ellis
That's awesome. Yeah. I was talking to Dal. Touche.
Harry
Oh, yeah.
Francis Ellis
You know, he's.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
In the streaming world. Yeah.
Harry
He's doing the Race to Master Prestige right now.
Francis Ellis
They're doing, like, whatever three days in a row. Is that what it is?
Harry
It might be more than. Yeah.
Francis Ellis
I think he's playing with Optic.
Harry
He's. He's in Optic.
Francis Ellis
He's in Optic.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
So how did you not know who he was?
Harry
Optics deep. There's a lot of dudes.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. Oh, there are.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
But he must be, like, way better than you are.
Harry
Like, not even comparable.
Francis Ellis
Wow.
Harry
Put me in a blender. I. I've. I. Yeah. You know, it's been a tough couple. Tough couple days for me, coming to terms with the fact that I'm not that good at video games.
Francis Ellis
You didn't learn that when I walked you in Halo?
Harry
No, because I was just like, you know, I just don't play Halo. And now it's just starting to become more apparent every day. I'm like, dude, I think I just suck, bro.
Francis Ellis
We can't have you lose your delusional confidence.
Harry
It really hurts.
Francis Ellis
That's a charming character trait of you.
Harry
I mean, I still love it.
Frankie
That will. This podcast.
Harry
I still love. I still love playing. I played this morning. I played for an hour this morning.
Francis Ellis
Good.
Harry
A great time. But I'm. I'm.
Frankie
I need the delusion.
Harry
I'm mediocre. I'm mediocre.
Frankie
What is doing this?
Harry
I'm maybe a little bit above the. Above the. Mid.
Frankie
No. In 2026, you're going to be having, like, a. A conversation, being like, yeah, end of 2025. I thought I was middle.
Harry
This happens every time there's a new game. I think I suck.
Frankie
You're gonna have the. You're gonna be outside the New Year's party, being Like I don't know how things should get worse.
Harry
That's how it feels. It feels like I'm outside the party right now. It feels like I'm in the hallway.
Frankie
You're not, dude. It's going to be 2026. Can we say Euro SAS? 2026.
Francis Ellis
I love for this year of Sass.
Harry
We'll see.
Francis Ellis
I'm ready for that.
Frankie
Actually, Francis might just run it back.
Harry
I think he's gonna run it back, dude.
Frankie
Back to back year, Francis.
Francis Ellis
A rising tide from floats all boats. If any one of us has a.
Harry
Good year, this boat's sinking over here. So.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. I mean, my God, Roan had twins this year.
Harry
I know.
Frankie
But I mean I feel, I feel like you're. I do truly feel Rising tide feel like raises all ships in that. I'm so happy for all of your success. I almost feel like it's my success almost to the point where I'm. I would say I'm proud of you, but I know that that's stolen valor.
Harry
Yeah, we don't say that.
Frankie
We don't say the P word.
Francis Ellis
You are more than welcome in, in this instance because I don't. I never took. Took it that way. But it's awesome. I get so excited for my friends victories. It's like, I don't know. I'm. I'm not going to go so far as to say I enjoy them more than my own, but it's, it's close. It's close. I don't, I don't. When I was younger I probably got jealous and now I'm like. I see it as inspiring.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Like if you. Well, I don't really want Telluride Bush to succeed because that'll take you away from the podcast.
Harry
It really won't.
Francis Ellis
But if you start selling out, you know, theaters and stuff as a stand up, then I will be fucking pumped.
Frankie
Because that will help the podcast.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Well, and also I just know that, you know, help me. I want you to win. Yeah. I want, I want you sell out.
Frankie
All your Chicago shows.
Harry
Oh, yeah.
Frankie
So what's the problem?
Harry
Nothing. There is no problem. So Chicago's awesome. Chicago was great. The shows were fun. They were great. The. It was a good time. It's really fun.
Frankie
Wow.
Harry
Yeah. It was like one of those weekends where it doesn't feel like you're like working. It's like I'm just having a good time.
Francis Ellis
That's cool.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Really quick plug. I've got Austin, Boston, Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh coming up. And those are two are the new year, but Austin and Boston to finish this year. And Boston, we're adding Wednesday and a late show Thursday. So if you don't see the tickets yet, they're. They're coming available, and you might not.
Harry
Even see them then because they'll probably be gone.
Frankie
Yeah, yeah, get them on the resale market, people.
Francis Ellis
By the way, people keep sending me links to secondary market ticket prices for my shows, and they're like, dude, I know you're good, but really, fifteen hundred dollars? And I'm like, are you out of your mind?
Harry
It's always funny when.
Francis Ellis
Don't buy. Ever buy a ticket to my. I am not at the level where that should be up at all.
Harry
People hit me with that, and I'm like, dude, there's tickets for sale on their website still. Like, it's not sold out.
Francis Ellis
Go to the comedy club's website. Go to the club's website and buy the ticket for $30. Not don't pay 15.
Harry
Why are you on Ticketmaster?
Francis Ellis
Podcast is brought to you by Game Time, of course.
Harry
Game Time.
Francis Ellis
We love Game time.
Frankie
Game Time.
Harry
That was more of a shot.
Francis Ellis
That was a shot at Ticketmaster.
Frankie
Well, Game Time links directly to Ticketmaster.
Harry
Is it?
Frankie
It links to it.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
Well, whenever you buy tickets on Game Time, which I know you've done.
Harry
I do. I do do that all the time. I don't know. I'm a little lost here. I'll tell you guys a little bit about my weekend. My beginning to my weekend, please. I texted you guys about it. I don't really know what the situation is here. I don't really know if it's that good of a story or if I'm in the right or the wrong.
Francis Ellis
Every time you have said this, it has been one of the best stories you've ever told on the podcast.
Harry
This one's not.
Francis Ellis
I mean, I already said this about the missing girl.
Harry
Yeah, that one was way better. Better than this one.
Francis Ellis
No, no, no. Yeah. Don't you do that. Don't you set yourself up for failure. It's a false modesty. We will be the judges.
Harry
This one's not. It's not as good. I also sort of already told it on the act, but so. So I got. So I got kicked off.
Frankie
When you were doing that, I was pissed.
Harry
I know I should have saved it.
Frankie
I was like, you really?
Harry
While I was saying it, I was like, I should have saved it, but giving it away. So I got. I got, I got, I got. They sold my seat on my flight. Like, what happened to you? You remember when you were saying that, you were like, they sold my seat, but you were there, checked in.
Francis Ellis
They didn't sell my seat. I think they gave it away to a guy they, like, upgraded a guy who was on the plane.
Harry
Yeah. So I got. So the board. Boarding closes 15 minutes before departure.
Frankie
A lot of times it's 10 minutes.
Harry
A lot of times it's ten minutes. And it's. Usually it's. If you get there and the doors open or closed. Right? Like, if you get there and the door is closed, you're like, it's over. You got there and the door's open. You're like, okay, I made it. Yeah. I got there exactly 15 minutes before departure. Doors are wide open. Gate agents still there? People are still boarding.
Frankie
You already checked in on your phone?
Harry
Checked in on my phone.
Francis Ellis
People are still boarding.
Harry
People are still boarding. The doors are wide open.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Harry
And I get up, and she goes, whoa, are you on this flight? And I was like, yeah. And she goes, what's your name? And I said, harry, settle. And she goes, oh, no. We just gave your seat away. You weren't here. Well, I'm here right now. Doors are still open.
Francis Ellis
This is the same thing that happened to me. Yeah, yeah.
Harry
And she goes, yeah, no, there's nothing we can. And I was like, so can I get, like, a different seat? And she was like, no, it's fully sold, oversold, flight overbooked. And so then immediately the adrenaline's pumping, right? It's going zero to 100 fast.
Frankie
Oh, my God.
Harry
Like, I'm seeing red. And I'm like, what do you mean? I said. There was a lot of things that I said that I brought. Like, it was. I was really.
Frankie
What race was?
Harry
She doesn't matter. But.
Frankie
Oh, you said all that? God damn.
Harry
No, no.
Frankie
Oh, my God.
Harry
But it was like, she's looking at me, and she's like, we gave your seat away. The guy that got my seat is standing in front of me.
Francis Ellis
And I'm like, how'd you know that?
Harry
Because she just. She just scanned it. And then she goes, wait, are you. And then he goes, am I good? And he goes, I was like, but I paid the money for the ticket, and then they just gave it to a dude.
Francis Ellis
Why did they think you weren't there? Are you sure you checked in?
Frankie
I had to.
Harry
You have to check in to go through tsa.
Francis Ellis
No, you don't.
Harry
Yeah, you have to show their boarding pass.
Francis Ellis
Oh, you're right. Whoops.
Harry
And then they were just. There was nothing. And I'm like. And they're like, we oversold the flight. And I said, how do you oversell the flight? There's only a certain amount of seats on the plane. And then she goes, well, every airline does that. And I was like, it doesn't make. That doesn't make sense. And I said, how is that my problem? I bought a ticket. And then she was like, there's nothing we can do. And then I said, I'm gonna lose my job because of this.
Frankie
Hysterically lying is hilarious.
Harry
I mean, dude, there's like people around.
Frankie
And she's like, I know where you work.
Harry
I looked her dead in the eyes and I said, I'm gonna lose my job. And she said, I can't do anything about that.
Frankie
Why did you say that?
Harry
Because I was like, maybe she'll put me on the flight. Dude, it was an 8am flight. Like, I woke up early as shit to get there. I was late. Yeah, I was.
Francis Ellis
I don't think. I don't have any blame for you on.
Frankie
I don't even think you were late. You said you were 15 minutes.
Harry
I was. Yeah, exactly. Like, I was like running behind, but I mean, made it.
Francis Ellis
I don't fully understand what they used to give away your seat.
Harry
I don't understand what happened.
Francis Ellis
What's the rationale? What rule do they have that allows.
Harry
That they had zero explanation? And, and I, I think what happened? Was she up? Like, she just assumed I wasn't going to make it because, like, there was four seconds left.
Francis Ellis
Why did she give the seat to that guy, though? She.
Frankie
He.
Francis Ellis
He had a. Was he on.
Harry
He was on standby. Oh, yeah.
Frankie
And he got a first class seat.
Harry
He got a first class seat from standby. Yeah. And then two people boarded after he was standing at the gate.
Frankie
Why did they give away their seats?
Harry
I don't know.
Francis Ellis
Wait, she goes, she goes aborted after you.
Harry
Yes, she said that. She said that they went back to see where if there was open seats and they said there was two first class seats open and then she went back up and gave the seat to that guy.
Frankie
So why couldn't you get the other first class seat?
Harry
Because. I don't know. I'm assuming someone else got it. What didn't make any. It was insane. It was. It seemed like they just, they. They jumped the gun and they gave away my seat early.
Francis Ellis
I'm starting to suspect that they, they give away first class seats quickly because they suspect that you will have boarded the plane first, probably. Right.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And then if you're not on the Plane and it's coming down to the wire. They're like, well, there's no first class person on earth that would be this late.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
Oh, I don't. I, I disagree.
Francis Ellis
I agree. I'm with you. I'm thinking that this is their mental.
Harry
Yeah, no, I know.
Francis Ellis
This is what happened as a first class citizen.
Harry
I boards last.
Frankie
I board last.
Harry
He's the last guy on the plane. I try to board last time all the time. He's always last.
Frankie
I try to be last as possible.
Francis Ellis
Well, I don't even know how I get on the plane anymore. I'm pretty sure there's like a. Yeah.
Frankie
You got a board.
Francis Ellis
I climb a ladder. Yeah, through the hole.
Harry
So then I flying first. So they. I'm like, I'm talking to the lady and I'm like, I'm like, well, I'm gonna need a refund. And she's like, well, you can go talk to the help desk. And then I went back. And then I went back to her again and I tried to. I toned it down a bit. I was like, so I was like, so I'm just trying to get an understanding of like what just happened. And she told this, she said the exact same thing. Total bullshit. Making shit up. I go over to the help desk. It's two 95 year old ladies working. And I'm like, yeah, they, they kicked me off my flight. Like I got to figure out, I got to get on another flight. And they're like, yeah, we could put you on the 2:30. It's 8am okay, that's not gonna work.
Frankie
That's like three different servings of meals at the Delta Lounge.
Harry
I may as well just fly tomorrow. Clearly I'm flying at 8am for a reason then. It's not like I was just, maybe I'll get there today. Who knows? 2:30 is not gonna work. So then I immediately, I did. She goes, 2:30. And I, when she said 2:30, I'm already walking away. I was like, ah, I can't do this right now.
Frankie
That's the exact thing that you gave me for at the Super Bowl.
Harry
That was a much different situation when.
Frankie
I like walked away.
Harry
Much different situation.
Frankie
I walked away from somebody when they didn't have have. When I was like.
Harry
Because you told them we were in. You told them we were on the Eagles.
Frankie
You told them you were gonna lose your job. What are you talking about? It's the exact same thing.
Francis Ellis
I'm gonna lose my job playing for the Eagles.
Frankie
You know they're gonna cut me from the 53 man roster.
Harry
So then I get on with the support people for. And now I'm just standing outside of security, just sitting there for like over an hour, lost. I'm like, I don't know. Like, it's one of those things where you're just. So that you're just like, I've given up and I'm just gonna sit here and do nothing.
Frankie
When you texted the bare bones of that story, like, I got really hot for you. Like, it was kind of like, it ruined my morning a little bit. Just like the. When injustice happens and you just. You're. You're.
Harry
And there's just nothing you can do. Like, there was nothing.
Frankie
I felt like I was reading Sean King's Twitter.
Harry
He was like, I almost started cry. I wanted to cry. I was like, there's. I've never been more helpless. Yeah, doors open. I have a seed. I can't get on the plant. So I'm on with support.
Frankie
You should have red rovered through there and just been like, I know.
Harry
I thought about it. Sprinting onto the plane, dude, I'm on with support. The guy's like, sorry, we can't give you a refund. I was like, you've lost your mind if you think I'm not getting a refund immediately. He's like, we can give you a refund. So what changed? What happened? A second ago I couldn't get a refund. Now I can get a refund. All you got to do is ask.
Frankie
Yeah. And then you have to be indignant enough. Yeah, it's really like, about how indignant you're willing to get.
Harry
Yeah. And then I go, I'm on with them. And then so I get my refund. And then I. A flight through United. Have to get in an Uber. Uber to the next terminal. Get on that. Whatever. Easy. Get to Chicago.
Francis Ellis
What? What. What airport were you at?
Harry
Laguardia.
Frankie
You ubered? There's a shuttle.
Francis Ellis
You can easily get to the next.
Harry
I didn't even. You can. No idea.
Francis Ellis
You can walk between the terminals at really? Guardia.
Harry
Yeah, I had no idea.
Frankie
How much was the Uber?
Harry
$5. I don't know. Yeah.
Frankie
That is crazy. Ubering around LaGuardia.
Harry
I thought. I literally thought that's what you had to do. I was like. I was, like, annoyed that I had to do that. I didn't know you could walk, but anyways.
Francis Ellis
Didn't know they had inter terminal shuttles.
Harry
Well, a lot of terminals, you can't do that. A lot of airports, you can't do.
Frankie
That I don't know the airport. You're like, you're good.
Francis Ellis
I'm not sure if there's an airport on Earth that does not have some way for you.
Harry
I think I must have been thinking about, like, what you were saying about having to go through security again. And I think in my head I was like, I got to go. I got to leave the entire airport.
Frankie
But I don't even think you would have to.
Harry
Like, when you're switching airlines, you'd have.
Francis Ellis
To go through security again, didn't you?
Frankie
Yeah, but no, I don't even think you have to. I think that there's like, once you're in, I think you could be. You might be in.
Harry
No, there's only Delta. There's only Delta.
Francis Ellis
You know, Roan makes a good point. Sometimes they'll take you on a bus.
Frankie
On the tarmac, on the bus on.
Francis Ellis
The tarmac to another terminal. It's not easy to find. Sometimes, though, you go to those 95.
Frankie
Year olds at the help desk.
Francis Ellis
They would know the answer to that.
Frankie
Go to the geriatrics and have them turn up their hearing aid.
Harry
Well, they'll never see me again because I will never be in terminal C at LaGuardia Airport ever again. Don't say that's a promise.
Frankie
Do not say that.
Harry
That's a promise.
Frankie
You can't take stuff like that.
Harry
That is a promise.
Frankie
Delta is the most profitable and expensive airline in. On the planet.
Harry
Of course they're the most profitable. They're scam artists. They're stealing money right out of your pocket.
Frankie
There were $34 billion. I'm pretty sure $36 billion doesn't matter.
Harry
I don't give a.
Francis Ellis
So you went on United.
Harry
Oh, I got on United. Then I go back on support. I'm like, the refund wasn't enough. We're going to need more.
Francis Ellis
I told you that.
Harry
You told me that. I was like, I need. I want miles or I want money. And then I'm on with them for like three hours. Like the whole day. I'm just bad because I have. I was doing the text one. Oh, that's just on your imessage.
Francis Ellis
Why would you do that?
Frankie
You got to talk to a person so you can put pressure on them.
Francis Ellis
They were.
Harry
The pressure had been applied. Once I. Once I said I was going to be contacting the dot.
Frankie
They didn't like, Department of Transportation.
Harry
Yeah, I said. I said, all right. Well, I said, because they. I have the messages.
Francis Ellis
You're sending this to a bot?
Harry
No, this was a person they can. I was talking to the highest tier of person. Yeah, when you bring the.in they. They're not talking to a robot anymore.
Frankie
Bangalore floor.
Harry
It didn't work at all.
Frankie
Yeah, the.it didn't work pretty much.
Harry
I said. They were saying no. And I said, that's all right. I'm gonna bring. I'm bringing this up to the highest level. I'm escalating this. And they said, you're speaking to the highest level. And that caught me off guard.
Frankie
That's a good bot.
Harry
And they said, the above revolution is correct. And your Sky Miles count has been documented accordingly. Which I didn't like that at all. They said they gave a mark on my Sky Miles account. And then I said, understood. In that case, please provide the full case number and notes that were added to my SkyMiles account so I can include them in my DOT filing. And they said, we respect your decision to file with the DOT Regrettably, we cannot release internal documentation. Blah, blah, blah.
Frankie
This is a bot. Pretty much.
Harry
They can just fuck you and nothing happens. I got in touch the do. So you contact the DOT I gave them like a documentation. All of my.
Francis Ellis
You really, you really brought.
Harry
Oh, yeah. Because if you file with the DOT then. Then they reach out to Delta and then Delta has to give you an explanation as to why.
Frankie
Did you hear this about the DOT.
Harry
Dude, I was Googling everything. I had like multiple screens pulled up trying to work this thing out. Dude, you just get steamrolled by these billion dollar companies and then there's just nothing you can do. Yeah. And then I contact the dot I gave them all my information. Delta replies. We have no record of you being on this flight. So it's just like, okay, so. And they're like, if you can provide documentation. I go on. They're saying my. They're saying the flight got canceled.
Frankie
So they're scamming.
Harry
Yes, there's just nothing you can do.
Frankie
Did you have like a screenshot of your boarding pass or anything like that?
Harry
It's all. It's all expired because I didn't make the flight.
Frankie
But if you take a screenshot of the boarding pass.
Harry
Boarding pass is gone.
Frankie
But I. I know it gets deleted, but that's why you have to screenshot it, because, like, it'll re. It'll update and then it'll be gone. But if you take a screenshot of it, that's permanent for you.
Harry
Yeah, I don't know. It was just like, gotta have your.
Frankie
Ducks in a row.
Harry
It was just insane.
Frankie
If you Want to carry out? You need paperwork?
Harry
Yeah, this. They said that the lady at the gate said that. That they called my name over the intercom. Never happens.
Frankie
Well, you weren't there.
Harry
Yes, I was.
Francis Ellis
Did you have headphones in?
Frankie
No, before that. They might have called it it. Before you got there.
Harry
Well, then that would be insane. Why are they calling my name when general boarding is taking place?
Frankie
And why are they doxing?
Harry
And why are they doxing? Better not have been in my government. So. Yeah, not really that good of a story. But no.
Frankie
Frustrating. Infuriating.
Harry
It was pretty frustrating. Well, I'm still a little hot.
Francis Ellis
You're going, you're going. You know, you're a United.
Harry
I'm a United man now. Flew United home yesterday. First class. Half the price of the Delta ticket. Had a bed. Had a bed for a two hour flight. Fine by me. That's kind of. That's the kind of service that.
Francis Ellis
I can't believe you are buying first class tickets from Chicago to New York.
Harry
Well, I did it on the way there.
Francis Ellis
What's that?
Harry
I didn't on the way there because I got kicked off the first one. Yeah. But I had an option. And then I was like, what am I even doing? I was like, I'm just going to fly coach. And then no one was even sitting next to me. It was great.
Francis Ellis
No, but I'm saying on the way back, why did you buy? Because I know you don't have United status, so you didn't get upgraded. You bought a first class ticket from Chicago, full price.
Harry
Coming off six shows in Chicago, you were flush.
Francis Ellis
I just don't think that that's what was the.
Harry
Don't make me explain myself.
Francis Ellis
What was the price difference? Be honest.
Harry
In first class. 200 bucks.
Francis Ellis
200 bucks more?
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Okay.
Harry
It wasn't that much, dude. Because it was like I said, it was one of the. It clearly that plane has never flown from Chicago to New York.
Frankie
Yeah, that. Flint.
Harry
That plane flies from New York to Singapore, Hong Kong.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, dude.
Harry
It was the. It wasn't like, you know when, like when we flew Delta 1 to San Francisco and it was like there was probably like eight. Yeah. This was. There was probably 30.
Francis Ellis
Wow.
Harry
Like half the. We boarded from the middle of the plane.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. Wow.
Harry
And then you take.
Francis Ellis
You went left. Yeah. Left. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Frankie
So nice to go left.
Harry
It was, I mean, you know, Restoration Hardware. That's what I love about United. They just know how to take care of their customers. It's a great team.
Frankie
But you know that I know that the food Was trash, no food.
Harry
I slept the entire. I slept the second I got in and woke up.
Francis Ellis
I think you need to get the Explorer rewards card or whatever.
Harry
The Chase Sapphire?
Francis Ellis
No, the United card. Their best card.
Harry
Oh, I thought the Sapphire was their best card.
Francis Ellis
That's not them. You need the.
Frankie
That's good for lounge access card. Yeah, but the United card is going to be different for you. Well, what are you going to do with all your Delta status from this past year?
Harry
Light it on fire? It literally means nothing. That's the thing too is like it doesn't mean anything.
Frankie
That's not true yet.
Francis Ellis
It means you have to spend a.
Harry
Ridiculous amount of money to get a make believe status that then they still fuck you over.
Frankie
I've never been fucked over by the good folks over at Delta.
Francis Ellis
I'm flying 360 round trip to New Zealand.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Without spend. I spent $49 on fees.
Harry
Delta couldn't pay me to fly to New Zealand.
Francis Ellis
I have a. I have a bed to LA and then a bed to Auckland on the way home.
Harry
They don't give it away to a homeless man.
Frankie
You did say the guy was sitting on the ground?
Harry
He was sitting on the ground while the lady was talking to him, like with his art, with his legs crossed like this. That's who got my ticket. It's like, dude, how did you even get into the airport? Did you walk here?
Francis Ellis
A yoga guy?
Harry
I was.
Francis Ellis
Have you heard the Louie bitch?
Harry
No, I don't think so.
Francis Ellis
Oh, about like. You never see homeless people at the airport? Oh yeah, there's never anyone like, hey man, can you spare some change? I'm trying to get to Tokyo.
Harry
Yeah, so that sucked. And then. Yeah, that's pretty much it.
Frankie
Great shows, really fun shows.
Harry
The shows in Chicago were great. The Saturday late show was a little odd. Someone puked, I guess in. In the sink. And you know that club is really small, so it kind of smelled it. I think it's. I think it probably smelled. And also then just no one can use the bathroom because there's puke in the sink. The. The manager showed me a photo. It was. I can't even speak about it. I'll throw. I'll gag.
Francis Ellis
Man.
Frankie
Why are they taking.
Francis Ellis
I don't think I've ever killed so hard that I made someone puke in the sink. They're just.
Frankie
Yeah, people crying.
Harry
It was a weird vibe. It was a weird vibe on that one. But it was. I had a great time. Shows were great.
Frankie
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Where'd you say?
Harry
The Lincoln sounds nice.
Francis Ellis
Is that where the club put you.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
You said it was not nice.
Harry
Yeah, no, no, it was awful.
Francis Ellis
Really.
Harry
It was actually, you know, it's actually. This is funny. And I know I'm not making it up. I know I'm not making it up. In my head. I ran into a comedian at the airport when I was flying out of New York. He was also going to Chicago.
Francis Ellis
You can't say who it was.
Harry
No. I forget what his name was. I never met him. His name was like Jack Keller. Okay, that's. Well, I don't want to. Helen's brother, Jeffrey Keller. And he was doing. He was doing Sunday, but he was going early to do, like, spots in the city. And I know I'm not wrong that the hotel was weird because I got in and I was like, oh, man, it smells like shit in this room. And then he DM'd me and he was like, yo, does the hotel you're staying at smell like fucking ass? And I was like, yes, it does.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. So do you remember the moment where I changed you into becoming a person that had to have nice accommodations and first class?
Harry
Oh, yeah. It was when we flew to San Francisco.
Francis Ellis
It was me.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
I feel bad about that.
Harry
Oh, I don't care.
Francis Ellis
I feel like I hooked you on a drug.
Harry
It's a little bit of a drug.
Frankie
He's a little bit too young to be hooked on this drug.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. Yeah.
Harry
I'm.
Francis Ellis
First of all. I know we know you hate that. We know you hate that.
Harry
Yeah. But, I mean, there's nothing you can do about, like, I'm not taking a step back, so.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, you can't.
Frankie
The hedonic treadmill.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
You cannot put the toothpaste back in. It's out the tube.
Harry
Truly, you could pull tapes from this podcast of me saying I will never fly first class, ever. And it's the biggest waste of money of all time.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. And now you can't have not have it.
Harry
No, I still am fine without it.
Francis Ellis
You bought a first class ticket from Chicago to New York. That is the flight on which I would never buy a first class seat.
Harry
You also weren't up until 3am waking up at 7 for the flight. Black Ops 7 release weekend. There's a strategy to everything I do. I don't just do things. I think.
Francis Ellis
Hang on. So you had to get home super early for the release of the video game?
Harry
No, I knew I was going to be up late and I knew I had to wake up early.
Frankie
Why'd you have to wake up early.
Harry
To get home for football.
Francis Ellis
Where did the video game come from?
Harry
What do you mean? He was up till 3am playing my PlayStation.
Francis Ellis
So you finished the shows? Went back.
Harry
Went back. Played video games. Played video games till 3am packed my bag, so. Packed everything so well that all I had to do was wake up and just put my shoes on and go and brush my teeth and all that jazz. But np, you know, we don't have to get into all the nitty gritty, but I packed my bag real nice, got up, went. Slept the entire flight, watched ball all day yesterday. Yeah. Played video games, went to bed at probably 11:45.
Frankie
So there's a strategy to everything you do.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
Very strategic.
Harry
Very strategic.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Frankie
Perspective.
Harry
Perspective.
Francis Ellis
Can I give you one tip?
Harry
Sure. Always welcome.
Francis Ellis
This is probably silly. I have found in my life, in. In dealing in moments where you dealt with the Delta agent, the woman.
Harry
Yeah, yeah.
Francis Ellis
Who was not budging. They. They judge you. Right. Which is to say, what were you wearing for that flight?
Frankie
Not even this. I know. You just got that. This sweatshirt.
Harry
I did just get this sweatshirt, but. No, I did. I think I was literally just wearing these pants and that jacket.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. Something similar. Right.
Harry
Y. Dude, the guy in front of me was laying on the ground.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, well, he was probably looking at.
Frankie
You being like, yeah, of course. They gave me the seat. Some fucking homeless guy was showing up.
Francis Ellis
I have found that if you dress up, they. They treat you better.
Harry
Yeah. I should have worn a talk.
Francis Ellis
I'm not a top hat.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
I'm not saying you need to do that, but unfortunately, it is the. The way of the world. I'm flying. I tend to try to dress a little bit better because I worry about a situation like that, and you need every advantage you can get.
Harry
You're not wrong. You do. But I will say I think me and that lady ended on okay terms, which I was happy about because I came in swinging, but she was swinging back.
Francis Ellis
Of course, you. I don't have any blame for you.
Harry
And then I came back in and I said, we're all people. We're all humans. Right.
Frankie
I would not take a swing back from a lady like that.
Harry
Take a swing back?
Frankie
Yeah. I wouldn't. Like you said, she was swinging back. I would not take that.
Harry
Well, I wasn't really taking it. Yeah. Yeah.
Frankie
Great.
Harry
This is not. I said, that's not my problem. That's your problem.
Frankie
And what did she say to that?
Harry
She said, all airlines do it. And I said, that doesn't make any sense.
Frankie
You should have said, if all airlines jumped off a bridge, would you do it. Checkmate.
Harry
See, that's something that you would have said. I just. I wasn't thinking fast enough. Yeah.
Frankie
Too early in the morning.
Harry
It was so early.
Frankie
You need to have your Phoenix energy drink before you get on a flight like that. Just so you could. In case you need to argue with somebody. You need to have all the bullets in the gun.
Harry
Yeah. It was also annoying because it was like I woke up early because I wanted to. I was gonna go do the yak, and I missed most of the yak. And then it's like, well, like, I. Why did I even wake up early? Now I'm just here. And then I just sat in the hotel room waiting for the show.
Frankie
That's brutal. Did you have any Sweet Chicago Meals?
Harry
No, not really, to be honest. Pretty Francis.
Frankie
I've ever gone to Emilio's Bellotto.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, a couple times.
Frankie
Did you wait in the line?
Francis Ellis
I have once, yeah.
Frankie
How did you get in the other times?
Francis Ellis
Somehow we had a reservation, I think.
Frankie
I don't think they do reservations.
Francis Ellis
Maybe they don't. I don't know. One time I wait in the line with friends for legitimately, two and a half hours. It was such a joke. I think that restaurant is one of the most overrated places in New York.
Frankie
Oh, strong disagree. You really like it this weekend, and it was amazing.
Francis Ellis
I have had.
Frankie
I've saw so many people say that it's overrated. And I went in and I had some of the tastiest bites of food.
Francis Ellis
That ve parm is good, but the other stuff, I don't know, man. I think there's way better Italian food. Way better.
Harry
I actually. I had some sal. I had chicken parm this weekend.
Frankie
Okay, talk to me.
Harry
It was fire. If we're talking Italian.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Frankie
No, we are. Yeah. Well, talk to me. A Chicago parm.
Harry
Just a little Chicago parm. You know what I did do when I got in, I was like, I'm going to get a. I'm going to get a classic Chicago dog. Yeah, right.
Francis Ellis
I've done that.
Harry
And I didn't. I ordered because I just got in.
Francis Ellis
You had a hot dog delivered?
Harry
I had a hot dog delivered.
Francis Ellis
That is nuts.
Harry
Yeah. And I thought I got multiple. And then the order got there, and it was one hot dog. I got. I waited probably an hour and paid probably, like 20 bucks for one individual hot dog.
Francis Ellis
Oh, my God. You're such a diva. You're such a. A Kardashian at this point in your life.
Harry
No, I really. Actually, I. I've actually. I'm I'm pretty much off Uber Eats completely. I've been picking up with doordash. You know, you can set it to pick up. Yeah, yeah, I'm on that now. Shout out Jake Malzek.
Frankie
What did you. But did they have. They brought you just, like. Was it a Chicago dog with, like, a bunch of on it, or was.
Harry
It literally just a hot dog, a.
Frankie
Raw dog you didn't even get, like.
Harry
It just had ketchup, mustard.
Frankie
Oh, my God.
Harry
And it was pretty bad, too. It wasn't good.
Francis Ellis
Oh, you think a hot dog didn't travel well? It didn't. A single hot dog with the sauce already on it didn't deliver well.
Frankie
But in Chicago, like, if you're getting a hot dog, you should get it their way. And that, like, almost makes it a little bit more worth it that you have all the accoutrements lined up on it.
Harry
Yeah, but I didn't want all that. I didn't want all the gizmos and gadgets.
Frankie
Yeah, but then why not just walk to a hot dog stand, which is undoubtedly right. Right outside your. Your door.
Harry
I really should have just done that.
Frankie
You should have just that. Or like, go to a 7 11. 7 11. Hot dogs are fine. Yeah. For hot dogs.
Harry
Yeah. I mean, it's just a hot dog.
Francis Ellis
All the same.
Harry
Yeah. There's really no good for you hot dogs unless you're getting, like, 100% chicken hot dogs.
Frankie
Kosher. Blessed.
Francis Ellis
Have you guys read Upton Sinclair's the Jungle?
Frankie
Of course.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Have you?
Frankie
About manufacturing.
Francis Ellis
Well, yeah, I mean, factories. It was. You really read that book?
Harry
No.
Francis Ellis
Oh, it was the book that, like, famously depicted the meat processing factories in Chicago.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And it was meant to be more of, like, a immigrant story about socialism and the perils that face immigrant families in New York. But. Or, excuse me, America. But all that anyone took away from it was the horrible conditions of the meat factories in Chicago.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And I actually think it might have, like, contributed to the founding of the fda.
Harry
Oh, really?
Francis Ellis
So that there was any sort of quality control whatsoever. But I remember distinctly reading this passage about how, you know, the cows would go down the processing line and get. Get like, slaughtered or whatever, and then they. And then they'd, like, carve out all these things, and then it. All the innards and things would drop through a hole in the floor or whatever. Whatever was useful. Meat would be taken out.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And then all the slop and the hooves.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
And the innards and this and that would end up just kind of on the floor. And these guys would Come in. Who were, like, smoking cigs and ashing in it with their boots on and, like, tramping through it, and they would shovel it all into a hole in the middle of the floor and it would drop down another level. And that was what went into the sausage casing.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
For hot dogs.
Harry
Yeah.
Frankie
We're making poor sassy.
Harry
Pretty sure it's, like, not that much better now.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. Like, it's still, it's whatever's left over.
Harry
Yeah, yeah. It's nasty.
Francis Ellis
Disparate animal part parts.
Harry
Yeah. Great for, like a nice cookout, though.
Francis Ellis
Great.
Frankie
Yeah. At the ball game.
Harry
Oh, yeah.
Frankie
Having some hooves. Having a hoove sandwich.
Francis Ellis
I, I, this is why I only eat chicken. Chicken dogs, which are made up of beak, feathers, feet.
Frankie
Yeah. Chicken liver. Yeah, that's nasty. Do you guys want to talk about fish week at all? That went. That was last week.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
That feels like months ago. I know.
Harry
It feels like that was a while ago. And then there was another thing too. What was that movie? I saw a movie. Oh, I saw that movie with a movie with. We were talking about that Stavros. Oh, wait, never mind.
Frankie
That was in the episode for tomorrow. Yeah, Thursday's episode.
Francis Ellis
Got a fun episode coming out Thursday. Very special guest.
Harry
Yeah. Banger of an episode.
Francis Ellis
What was fish week? Fish week.
Harry
Yeah, yeah. Thoughts, Questions?
Francis Ellis
I was amazed at how good Ron was at shooting. Oh, yeah, that was really cool.
Harry
Incredible.
Frankie
I was amazed how good of a guide Harry was on the, on the river.
Harry
Dudes. People were like. There were some people that were, like, actually mad at me about that. They were like, you never even gave Ronan Francis a shot. I was like, dude, none of us had a shot at any point.
Frankie
The one guy said that that was his honey hole.
Harry
Yeah, yeah, yeah. He did say that.
Frankie
The guy who was the, our shooting guy. He said that was his spot. So maybe we did have a shot.
Harry
I don't know. Maybe we did. It's tough fishing, new water like that. Yeah. On a limited amount of time.
Frankie
It didn't really make me feel like that was the formula, though. But my only thing is, like, a huge part of it to me was being able to go back to your apartment or your house. And so I guess we'll have to do that again there in the summer.
Francis Ellis
Oh, that's a fun idea.
Frankie
Is that okay?
Francis Ellis
Summers are great, Right?
Frankie
So summer will be a little bit different.
Harry
Summer will be fun as fuck.
Francis Ellis
Summer. Summer.
Frankie
But we'll do other shit in between that, though.
Francis Ellis
I'd like to wet weight in the summer.
Harry
That it's fun it's the best.
Francis Ellis
It's so good.
Frankie
What is that?
Harry
So relaxing.
Francis Ellis
No waiters. No waiters in the middle. The river is really nice temperature. I did it this summer once.
Harry
Yeah, it's really fun. That's like the best way to fly fish.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Harry
Easily.
Frankie
And you just said the. The water just runs up to your penis.
Harry
Pretty much, yeah.
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Harry
I pretty much like swimming.
Francis Ellis
I like floated halfway down the river, just on my back with my rod above my head. Not casting or anything. Yeah, just keeping it dry.
Harry
Yeah. Yeah, it's fun.
Frankie
That sounds so nice. It was great, but we need to do another. Another trip like that. What other activities would you guys like to do on our.
Francis Ellis
Let's go trapping. Trapping? Beaver trapping.
Frankie
Yeah, yeah.
Francis Ellis
Trap some beaver out west.
Harry
Yeah, totally. I'm down.
Frankie
That sounds so nice. We were taught I have no respect for beavers. It's like a. Like a nice deer. Like, I'm not super interested in like shooting a deer in the head just because I have a soft spot for them. But like a beaver. Like, I don't fundamentally respect them as an animal.
Harry
Oh, really? I do. I'm the opposite.
Francis Ellis
I don't. They're a pest.
Harry
Beavers are sick.
Francis Ellis
No, they're. They fuck up beautiful forests and take trees that don't belong to them and.
Frankie
They'Re ugly in the face.
Francis Ellis
Use them to dam up rivers, which fucks up the ecosystem.
Frankie
Yeah. A fisherman and a beaver are natural enemies.
Harry
Not really.
Frankie
The beaver does not want to help you.
Harry
No, they don't. So crazy. Have you ever seen a beaver?
Francis Ellis
Yeah.
Harry
In a river.
Francis Ellis
I have.
Harry
It's fucking insane.
Francis Ellis
Looks like an otter.
Harry
Yeah, it's like the craziest thing I've ever seen.
Frankie
Yeah, they're just like fat fucks with buck teeth, dude.
Harry
Their tails, when they cut, when they jump out of the water and then they slap down and it feels like someone just cannonballed in front of you. You're like, what just happened? Yeah, it's a beaver.
Frankie
They're a bit of an abomination.
Harry
I didn't even know beavers existed. I never knew I would see one of those in real life.
Frankie
What is their tail made out of?
Francis Ellis
Cardboard catcher mitt.
Frankie
Yeah, I would love to trap some catcher mitt tailed beaver. Yeah, that would be so nice. We got to do some golf content too. What if we.
Francis Ellis
Let's do the three of us against the four Playboys.
Frankie
God, that would be.
Francis Ellis
And then we'll do the three of us against chiclets. Ooh, maybe we could do like a tri wizard. Tournament.
Harry
That'd be fun.
Francis Ellis
Like the three of us versus the fourth play guys versus the Chiclets guys.
Frankie
Yeah, that would be so nice.
Harry
That'd be sick.
Frankie
Or what about the two of you guys are on the same team and you have to try and shoot under my natural score combined.
Francis Ellis
Oh.
Harry
It'S actually not a bad score. That's actually a pretty good idea.
Frankie
As someone who hasn't played 18 holes of golf in probably 18 years.
Francis Ellis
Yeah, dude, think about that. That means that on a par 5 at best, we're probably making a 10 at best, more likely an 11. And he. He'd have to do 11 or better on a part.
Harry
Yeah, I think we could do it. I think we could get it done.
Frankie
You.
Harry
I think I would be holding. I don't think.
Frankie
Yeah, no, Francis is better than you.
Harry
Well, obviously, that I was. The time I was gonna say. But I think I would be holding you back a lot more than you think.
Francis Ellis
Well, but I can coach you, though.
Harry
True.
Francis Ellis
You're much better when I club you and tell you, like, what to do and where to hit it.
Harry
Yeah, true.
Frankie
What are we calling this? Golf. We'll call it golf. We also need a golf week. Everything is something weak, something day or something night. We shouldn't be doing anything. That's more than two words.
Harry
No.
Frankie
Speaking of steak night, we need to do steak night before the a year is done. And all I ask is, like, putting out. Unless you have a spot, but, like a private room in New York with a round table.
Francis Ellis
I think that's easier than you'd think.
Frankie
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Yeah. That's easier than somewhere we could shoot.
Frankie
And we need at least six seats at the table.
Harry
Yeah.
Francis Ellis
Deal.
Frankie
At least seven seats, actually. One for the camera.
Francis Ellis
Cool.
Frankie
One for the viewer. So if anybody has that, please reach out to me or Francis or Harry via chat. Bcc perhaps. That's it.
Francis Ellis
Sweet.
Harry
Hell, yeah. Oh, I'm gonna. Did I already say my dates? I'm gonna be in Baltimore this weekend, and then I'm. I just added Addison Improv in, like, Dallas, Texas. That's in December. Please come to those shows. Thank you.
Frankie
Pop Punk this weekend in Chicago, but it's actually sold out already.
Francis Ellis
Wow. So you can't come to that Must be nice.
Frankie
But, yeah, thanks. Keep on subscribing to this channel. It helps us a lot.
Francis Ellis
All right. Was over still still underground so I looked older to you.
Harry
Came around.
Francis Ellis
I.
Harry
Was only falling one way.
Francis Ellis
I was.
Harry
Only falling one way. My son so thank you.
Francis Ellis
Now I come alive I was only.
Harry
Falling one way.
Francis Ellis
I was only falling one way. I was only. I was only falling one way. That is to your eyes.
Harry
Did you realize no one can take me alive? I was only falling one way.
Francis Ellis
You can see, Sam.
This episode is a celebratory and chaotic review of Francis Ellis’s recent golf championship victory, the Barstool "Internet Invitational," aptly framing 2025 as “The Year of Francis.” The guys dissect tournament drama, golfing ethics, pressure under the spotlight, the meaning of success after hitting rock bottom, and classic travel woes—all with their trademark irreverence. The episode is a mix of storytelling, behind-the-scenes glimpses, personal revelations, and plenty of laughs.

This episode is a mix of self-deprecating humor, reflective wisdom, and group camaraderie. It’s a testament to finding the joy (or, at least, the content) in personal stress and public success. Francis’s journey—from a low point in 2024 to his “year”—serves as the emotional throughline, made all the richer by the group’s blend of honesty, mockery, and support.
If you missed it, you’ll want to head to Barstool’s video of the Internet Invitational, catch Francis’s tour dates, and maybe prep your own travel nightmare story. And, of course, keep rooting for the boys—next up, maybe it’ll be the “Year of Sass.”
