Papercutz's The Mandalorian and Grogu: Danger in the Dark #1 debuts today as the Mad Cave Studios imprint launches the first of what's likely to be several Star Wars comics and graphic novels aimed at younger readers (and readers who are young at heart). We'll have a review next week after we pick up our copy of the one-shot at the local comic shop.

Otherwise, this week should prove quite informative as to the state of play for Star Wars Comics, with SDCC starting on July 23 and Lucasfilm Publishing panels set for Friday, including one for Mad Cave Studios, but not one for Dark Horse Comics.

Marc Guggenheim's got an iron in the fire for a Star Wars project -- dubbed KITBASH -- he writes in his latest LegalDispatch -- subscribe if you haven't yet (https://marcguggenheim.substack.com/.../encino-lian-yu...). A reveal is likely at NYCC not SDCC.
Lucasfilm Publishing will have its annual panel at SDCC on Friday, July 24, with Kristen Baver and Ahmed Best among the guests, along with moderator Michael Siglain. Later that day, Mad Cave Studios will have its own panel to discuss its new Star Wars publishing efforts. Dark Horse does not have a Star Wars panel.
In his latest offering for Star Wars Illustrated, artist Will Sliney is showing how to draw the Mandalorian and Grogu.
Per Near Mint Condition, Marvel will release Star Wars: Darth Vader Modern Era Epic Collection, Vol. 4 "Fortress Vader," collecting Darth Vader 13-25 and the five-issue Obi-Wan and Anakin mini-series in May.
Based on Amazon UK, Panini's bringing Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Vol. 3 to release on Dec. 1.
