Caller
Hi, Xavi. Hi, eldest and of course honored guests. So where do I begin? So my fiance and I broke up about two months ago, but we still live together because I'm the one that's paying all the bills and I don't have anywhere else to go.
Host
So why is she there?
Caller
And I presently can't save up the money to move out because she hasn't found a steady day job that pays the bills. And it's been a show. No.
Host
You're letting her stay.
Caller
But my question free.
Host
That's not. It's like you don't ask her to get a job after you've broken up. This is. You're getting taken advantage of this one. But anyway, keep going.
Caller
Elders is one of the fights we had had was about her doing cocaine because it was a problem and she doesn't have money. Started accusing me of stealing money from her.
Host
Wow.
Caller
And I wasn't. I'm autistic. As it's very hard for me to lie. And stealing is one of the things that like makes me nauseous just thinking about.
Co-host 1
First of all, get better at stealing. Like you rationalize that. Like that's a you problem dog. It's oh, I'm autistic. I can't steal. No. That you're weak. That's why you can't steal. Don't give the autistic community a break.
Co-host 2
Casino. All right. Makes.
Host
Yes. Make stealing your special interest.
Co-host 2
Hyper fix theft. Make cat burglary your special elevators.
Co-host 1
That was Rain Man. Rain man was Autistic. All he did was steal.
Host
Yep, yep, yep.
Caller
Out. So today at work, I found a pack of it in the center council of the car. And we had already had an agreement that she was gonna stop and that it wasn't gonna be around me or in the house or in the car anymore because I had gotten pulled over with some that she had forgotten about. A couple months ago when I didn't have a valid driver's license, I got pulled over with a suspended license while there were drugs that I didn't know about in the fucking car. So my question is, how do I, how do I handle this? Like, do I just confront her about it and go off about this or do I just like let it slide and secretly make my way out? I let what slide? Yeah.
Host
Freeloading off into a cocaine against your wishes?
Co-host 1
No, he's wondering if he should confront her about.
Caller
Keep it twisted.
Co-host 1
Like he, he wants to know this very nice gentleman if he should work on his relationship with his ex girlfriend who is living in his house and freeloading. That's a hard no, my man. The hardest no of all time. Yeah, I really want to work on my communication with someone. We probably hate each other and she's a drug addict, but she has made.
Co-host 2
Me unknowingly commit felonies. But you know, we need to talk about it.
Host
And clearly we're not getting the, the reason they broke up. You know what I mean?
Co-host 2
Like, she's.
Host
Yeah, like, I guess it's drugs and she's probably just been a dumb to him in many other ways. But. Yeah, dude, you're, you're completely here. She's, she's taking advantage of the entire situation. You said that you, you pay all the bills so you live together. That doesn't make any fucking sense.
Co-host 1
Stop paying the bills.
Host
Yeah, fucking kick her out or leave or whatever.
Co-host 2
It might come to a point where she's so irrational, difficult to deal with. Like you might just need to get another place as shitty as that sounds like. Because it's so difficult to get a tenant out or a roommate out from like, from a bad situation. And if she's like putting cocaine in your car, the, the top priority is just separation. You gotta get away from.
Host
This is crazy.
Co-host 3
It is so funny when someone's like broken up for a long time and they get into like the nitty gritty of such things and like completely lose sight of the fact that they are broken up allegedly. And it's like you're still dealing with like relationship on like a very, you know, granular level. And you are just. And getting steamrolled. Heavy.
Host
Yeah. You guys, clearly, this has your number. She gets to do whatever the she wants. I mean, the fact that, yeah, you're again, you live together, but you pay all the bills doesn't make any sense. I could see it if it was a month, whatever, but it's been like three months. He said, right? Yeah, and like, two months. Two months.
Co-host 1
Also advice, get a driver's license so you can get away from this woman.
Host
Right, right, right. Yeah, you know, go to the dmv. Doesn't that sound.
Co-host 2
I don't know. You said it was suspended. He's driving with a suspended license.
Host
Yeah, we'll fix it up, man. Either way. The fuck. Why do you have a suspended license? But, yeah, don't talk about. Yeah, you don't have to. Your. The conversations are not, hey, when are you going to get off cocaine and get a job so you can start paying half the rent? The conversation is what. We're broken up. You have to leave. I don't give a what you do with your time. Just stop my life up.
Co-host 2
Don't try to fix her.
Host
Yeah, that's crazy, dude. You got to get the out of there.
Co-host 2
Poor guy confronted a bad roommate before, and it's difficult where, like, you know, you got to build up to it, but, you know, say, figure out what you're going to say. Say what you got to say. Confront her, and then get away from her when you're like, don't drag on the conversation.
Host
Or you need a plan to get out. Give her an ultimate date and. And be prepared to maybe leave.
Co-host 1
And like, JP said, no, not even joking. You have to care about yourself. Every part of that, like, request for advice was, hey, you know, my ex, who's a drug addict, I care about her more than I care about myself. Like, you have to, like, do I.
Co-host 2
Deserve some agency about life?
Co-host 1
Yeah, she's stealing all my money and framing me for felonies.
Co-host 2
You know, I don't know.
Co-host 1
Do I talk to her? Like, what do I say? No, you save your money, you get a place, and you just live that good life, brother. Leave her in the rear view.
Host
Get the out of there, bro.
