Good morning. I. Buenas dias. Welcome back to another episode of Cafecito Icroquetas brought to you by state. Tranquilo and H and co. Today is post Thanksgiving. How are we feeling? How are the bellies feeling? Tell us about the family drama that went on at the Thanksgiving parties.
Co-host
Thanksgiving clapbacks. Honestly, dude, it was a great time, you know, got some full tummies, had my mom's sweet potato. The famous sweet potato, the pumpkin pie. Obviously. We had turkey. There was ham. Everyone's favorite, right? I feel like more people were against me than you with my ham take. Yes, but there was ham there and I had ham, so get off of me, guys. Okay? Leave me alone. Leave me alone. No lechon.
Antonio
No lechonia.
Co-host
But overall, bro, good time with the family, good laughs, and no drama, luckily. No drama.
Antonio
That's good. That's good. Yeah, no drama on my side. A lot of dominoes were played. You know, this. This table came on the move, came with us to the Thanksgiving party. So it's a set prop, but it's also an active domino table.
Co-host
More importantly, how was the turkey?
Antonio
Turkey was good. First time having the fried turkey.
Co-host
There we go.
Antonio
Yeah, that's why it was good.
Co-host
That's why it was good.
Antonio
That's why it was good. First time doing the fried turkey. Definitely a significant upgrade in the turkey game compared to regular turkeys. Again, not a knock on how my previous turkeys have been made. Just. I'm just not a turkey guy. So doing the fried turkey was. Was interesting. Still not like saying turkey is like the item that I want to use in Thanksgiving, but it was better. It was better.
Co-host
Are you already planning for your. Your barbecue Thanksgiving next year? Thanksgiving barbecue?
Antonio
Yeah. I mean, listen, the problem is if I'm not hosting, then the logistics of being able to execute it are a little bit different. So we'll see. We'll see if it ever happens. But maybe one day in the future.
Co-host
A little brisket butter, butter biscuit, Thanksgiving. Yeah.
Antonio
Oh, my God. Yeah. I mean, I don't know why it's not that way. But anyways, either way, phenomenal Thanksgiving. And today's the first official day of.
Co-host
Christmas, basically after Thanksgiving. I mean, I already see people. Yeah. Merry Christmas, brother. Merry Christmas, Antonio. Yeah, it's about that time that, you know, people, you know, people get through Thanksgiving automatically. It's like, let's get the Christmas lights down.
Antonio
Yeah, absolutely.
Co-host
You know, the people that held on strong till after Thanksgiving to start celebrating Christmas. But, I mean, everyone has Christmas. A lot of people have Christmas trees up already. A lot of.
Antonio
Today's the day to go get it, though.
Co-host
Today's the day to go get it. If you really want to be really stubborn about it and have your tree up by December 1st and really take care, take over the entire month of December. Now's the time. But congratulations to you guys. I held on strong, though. I, I credit you guys for the strength to hold, hold off on your Christmas decorations, but. Yeah, so we're through Thanksgiving. You have some leftovers, but the h, the Thanksgiving season's over. You can go to Christmas.
Antonio
It's Christmas time. It's Christmas time. Get the Christmas lights up. Get the Christmas tree up. Jam to some tunes. What's Mariah Carey?
Co-host
Mariah Carey. Pentatonix. The acapella group. You know, whatever, Whatever. You're interesting.
Antonio
Interesting. I was thinking more like Jingle Bells or, you know, something along those.
Co-host
Dude, they're actually, they're, they're pretty badass. Like, their Christmas stuff, like, the acapella stuff is like, I, I would assume.
Antonio
I don't know, but I don't know, like, people. It's going to be what I'm going to be listening to in the car.
Co-host
I mean, bro, you'd be surprised, bro, like, dude, they got. Have you heard, have you listened to them before?
Antonio
I think so.
Co-host
Maybe they're like, they're like the most famous acapella group.
Antonio
Okay, Gotcha.
Co-host
But like, dude, like, they did, like, which one? Damn, they did. They did some good ones, bro. But they do, they have a whole Christmas album and it's like, it's like they have, like, bass in there. Like, it's, it's legit. It's really good. It's really good. I, I, I recommend it for sure.
Antonio
So then when. What's, what's the top five Christmas songs of all time?
Co-host
Dang, I don't even know. I don't even know if I can give you five off the bat. Let's see. I like ones that you can kind of jam out.
Antonio
No, for sure. There needs o.
Co-host
Okay, that's on your top five.
Antonio
Grandma got ran over by a reindeer.
Co-host
Roasting on an open fire.
Antonio
I. I feel like you got to have a healthy blend of kind of like, you know, more upbeat Christmas song, like celebr, but then those, like, classic nostalgic, you know, snow falling down, fireplace burning type of vibe.
Co-host
There's one of the ones I like. I can't remember the song for the life of me, but Michael Buble does it.
Antonio
Oh, yes.
Co-host
And that one. Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. I believe you need somebody.
Antonio
He's got a couple one. Let me see. Michael Bu is beginning to look like a lot like Christmas. He does that too.
Co-host
That one's good, too.
Antonio
Yeah.
Co-host
I'm just trying to think of one of the ones I did when I was little at the Christmas show. Those Christmas little performances you do when you're little.
Antonio
I. I know, I know. I mean, come on. Come on.
Co-host
Rudolph.
Antonio
No. Oh, absolutely.
Co-host
Winter Wonderland.
Antonio
No, that's a good one. That's a good one. I'll give you. I'll give you a couple of mine. I'm gonna go. Let's see, let's see. Let's go. Number five. Let's start from five. Five to one.
Co-host
Give yours first.
Antonio
I'll go. I'll go five. Michael Buble. It Beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I'm gonna go Ariana Grande. Santa tell me. Okay, it's a little. It's a little bop. It's a nice little bop. Prime, Prime. Ariana Grande at number four. I'm gonna go White Christmas. Number three by Bing Crosby. Okay, and then number two is gonna be Wham. Last Christmas.
Co-host
Last Christmas. I like that. That's going.
Antonio
So that's number two. And then number one on the list. Shouldn't be any other number one. Feliz Navidad, dude, you know what that is? That is a good list.
Co-host
Okay. I'm gonna give a unique five, because I'm not gonna bite off of you.
Antonio
Okay. Okay. Oh, damn, that's a good one. I missed that one.
Co-host
Okay, here, I got my number five. Get ready for this. Okay, I'm gonna. I'm gonna pick five people that are actually good singers, too. How about Let it Snow by Dean Martin?
Antonio
Okay, great one.
Co-host
Let it Snow, let it snow, Let it snow. Okay, then we're gonna do.
Antonio
There's so many good ones.
Co-host
Huh? This is tough.
Antonio
It is tough Here. If you want to look at some of the timeless classics in there, I have you got.
Co-host
Okay, you know what I like? Run, Run, Rudolph by Chuck Berry.
Antonio
That is A very good one.
Co-host
It's a little funky. Oh, and then I have to put in. I'm at number three, Jingle Bells by Frank Sinatra. Have some real music in there, you know? You know what I'm saying?
Antonio
I'd like have yourself a Merry Christmas by Frank Sinatra. That's a good one. Sinatra.
Co-host
And then I'm gonna have Buble. Silver Bells. Silver Bells.
Antonio
I don't know if that's number two, but that's fair.
Co-host
You know what, dude? I'm just kind of going as you want. So how about you?
Antonio
Kind of a mixed five.
Co-host
Dang, it's. I forgot the name of the song. I. I don't know. It's. What's. How's that one?
Antonio
Is that the three little Drummers or something? Yeah, something like that. I don't know if that's what it's.
Co-host
Called, but by pentatonic.
Antonio
Drummer Man. Drummer Boy. Drummer Boy. Little Drummer Boy. It's. It's kind of. I get it. It's like the storytelling song, but it's not something that I can just put on and listen to. Oh, I must be crazy. There's a sneaky one here.
Co-host
Which one?
Antonio
Mistletoe by Justin.
Co-host
Dude, I was. Knew some like that. I knew it. I knew Justin Bieber was gonna make it.
Antonio
Oh, man.
Co-host
Dude, I saw it here. I'm like, dude, it's actually not a bad song.
Antonio
It isn't.
Co-host
It's not. It's not. So I'm gonna go with that. I'm gonna end with Drummer Boy by Pentatonix on my number one spot.
Antonio
Interesting. Interesting list.
Co-host
It's an interesting list. But, like, you know what, bro? I'm just looking through. I'm like. Like, you really can't go wrong, dude. Like, yeah, like any. Any Christmas song.
Antonio
Just so Mariah Carey. Mariah Carey doesn't crack any of our top fives.
Co-host
No.

Philo Advertiser
Is it just me, or has watching TV gotten way too complicated? There are a million different services and too many bills to keep track of. Thankfully, there's Philo. A better way to TV. For as low as 33 bucks a month, I get the channels I love. MTV, BET, Food Network, you name it. Plus everything that AMC has to offer. And guess what? They've added access to HBO Max Basic with ads, plan and Discovery plus so I can enjoy all the best TV with one subscription. There are no contracts, no surprise fees, just one low price. And their DVR is awesome, too. I can save everything I love for up to a year and skip the ads when I rewatch them. A total game changer. I signed up directly at Philo TV. That's P H I L O TV. And if you subscribe today, you can get $8 off your first month. Philo's the easiest decision I've ever made. Now the hard one, deciding what to binge next.
Antonio
I think it's just because it's overplayed.
Co-host
I think it's overplayed.
Antonio
It's a good song.
Co-host
Like, I want to give a very unique top five.
Antonio
Yeah.
Co-host
Like maybe it's not necessarily, like, I don't. Like, I. I never asked me, like, what are your top five Christmas songs? Like, it's not something that I think about.
Antonio
People are asking you the wrong questions.
Co-host
I know. Yeah. I mean, like I said, we're not in December yet. It's been a year, so maybe it's going to start happening now. So at least now I have my five. True. I have to remember my list so I can stay consistent.
Antonio
I'm curious. This one by. By Elvis Presley, Blue Christmas. I feel like I've heard that one. And anything Elvis Presley's got to be good, right?
Co-host
Yeah.
Antonio
Let's see.
Co-host
This is. No one's a fan of the Grish.
Antonio
I am a fan of the Grinch.
Co-host
This is R R by Chuck Berry.
Antonio
That is a good one. There's a bop. That is a buff. That should have been number one on your list.
Co-host
It is, bro.
Antonio
Oh, this one. This is just a nightmare. It's just like that nostalgia, you know, talking about, you know, maybe. Maybe you're lining up a little cigar, pouring yourself a nice little whiskey, some Woodford reserves, and you're just there, you're laid back. And they're like, oh, it's Christmas time.
Co-host
There's nothing more manly than Blue Christmas. Outcast cigar, Woodford Reserve. Just.
Antonio
My God, I'm going to make this happen. Elvis Presley iconic.
Co-host
That's going to be the COVID of our Christmas album. 100% Cass Woodford. And listen to Blue.
Antonio
I'm so down. Celia Cruz has got me Navidad. You know, Willie. Willie Colon's got laa, Holidays, essentials, and many ladies. Oh, oh.
Co-host
My number one. My number one. Guys, I don't care. I don't. Screw the top five. My number one.
Antonio
That is yours. That is yours. That is yours.
Philo Advertiser
That.
Antonio
That is. That is yours for sure.
Co-host
That's number one. I don't care.
Antonio
That is a good one. That's. That's a solid replacement at number one.
Co-host
Good. That's number one.
Antonio
I like that. I like that.
Co-host
So I'll get rid of pentatonix and I'll leave number one in there. Cuz I do. I actually like the other ones. I like the other ones I picked.
Antonio
That's fair.
Co-host
I'll take. No, it's.
Antonio
Oh, bro.
Co-host
Like, they're good. They're good. Like, I just. Like, I can't. Like, like, I don't really listen to Christmas music like that. Like, like.
Antonio
No, it's only in December. Yeah. So I can't remember like maybe randomly.
Co-host
In July, but their stuff is really good. But they do like remakes like a bro. Like, like a Chuck Berry. Like, that's amazing music. Like anything. Like, even if it's not Christmas, it's just like a good song and then.
Antonio
No, that's a good one.
Co-host
You know, my sneaky ones play I was a burrito and I was going.
Antonio
Wait, what? You actually were dressed as a burrito?
Co-host
I was a little. I was a little. I was a little.
Antonio
Do you have pictures of this?
Co-host
My mom.
Antonio
We need that picture. We need that pick.
Co-host
We need the picture does that. I was at Burrito Savanero. I don't know where it is. I don't know if maybe that picture exists, but I do remember somebody.
Antonio
Somebody has it somewhere.
Co-host
I mean, dude, I was like, we're talking about like 2002, like long, long, long time ago.
Antonio
I mean, photos existed. No.
Co-host
100. I just don't know. Like.
Antonio
Yeah.
Co-host
Where. I don't know if it's. My mom. Put it in the Dropbox.
Antonio
No, it's definitely not in the Dropbox. It might be in the family album though.
Co-host
Maybe we'll have to find it, but thank God, I can't. I don't know why.
Antonio
What a top five.
Co-host
What a top five. I was. I dressed. I was dressed up asana a good amount of times.
Antonio
Tan Santa.
Co-host
Tan Santa.
Antonio
Dominican Santa. Dominican Santa. So you were a burrito and you were Santa.
Co-host
Santa.
Antonio
I'm trying to. I don't think I really dressed as anything.
Co-host
I've dressed up as a lot. Like obviously My parents being in education. I've dressed up as a lot of stuff.
Antonio
Yeah, no, no.
Co-host
I've been an Easter bunny. I've been.
Antonio
So you've done all the holidays.
Co-host
I've been Santa. I've been.
Antonio
Have you done the tooth fairy?
Co-host
The rocks version? The rocks version with the hockey suit? Not, not the tooth fairy.
Antonio
Oh man.
Co-host
No. I, I, no. The most iconic ones is Santa. And, and, and thankfully like, like no one like within like our close friends like of groups. Like none of those kids are like babies yet. So like I don't see myself having to do it for a long time time again. Like I think we, we, we have a pass a little bit. The last time I did it was probably like 2021. That.
Antonio
Yeah. Cuz that's the next thing. Like once you start having kids and stuff like that, then, then the start dressing up as.
Co-host
I have little cousins. But she, my cousin hasn't asked me to dress up as Santa for them yet. So.
Antonio
Interesting.
Co-host
Stand by. Maybe I have one more left in the tank, but as of now I've been retired as, as.
Antonio
Do you have the, you have the Santa costume hung up? Ready for that moment.
Co-host
Dude, I don't know where it is. I don't know where it is. But I mean I'm a little bit lighter than I was probably like five years ago. I was a little bit darker back then.
Antonio
Like the Santa costume. You stuff a little pillows. Yeah. You know, get the beard.
Co-host
Why are your traps so big?
Antonio
Tougher, tougher times.
Co-host
Tougher times for San Diego.
Antonio
Presents are getting expensive.
Co-host
Yeah, dude.
Antonio
Yeah. I gotta start working on my Santa list.

We gotta, we gotta revisit, like, the gifts we didn't appreciate 10 years ago, but the ones we do now.
Antonio
Yeah, listen, we got a whole month of December.
Co-host
Yeah, we kind of touched on it last week. We talked about, like, how we appreciate some underwear and socks now.
Antonio
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Co-host
Cards. So we'll go, we'll deep dive. I mean, we have a whole month of it.
Antonio
Yeah, well, we talk some shopping stuff in, in the month of December and kind of like the chaos and shopping behaviors.
Co-host
Oh, and then also today is Black Friday.
Antonio
Today is Black Friday today. Shopping 100. 101 day I kind of missed.
Co-host
I don't think it's as crazy as it was last.
Antonio
No. Because everybody buys everything here.
Co-host
Like Black Friday.
Antonio
You can take advantage of the deals right here on your phone without having to go anywhere.
Co-host
Did you ever go Black Friday?
Antonio
Absolutely not. Never. Never. Never even wanted to. Never even thought about it. I used to work in the mall during Black Friday and that was mayhem. Like, gets a store, like at I think 3am and work till like, I don't even remember, like, noon.
Co-host
I think it's just a little crazy, like, the violence people get.
Antonio
I never witnessed any of that. I mean, you see the videos online, like, trampling over people, everybody. I think every year somebody has like, died from one of those, like, stampedes that happen in front of the store.
Co-host
But now, I mean now, like, the times have changed. Now you have Cyber Monday, like the Monday right after.
Antonio
Exactly.
Co-host
But today's Black Friday. So, you know, if you want to get some early Christmas shopping in, get some gifts now, you know, there's some.
Antonio
Good deals right now, some tunes in the airpod, and then, you know, go shopping.
Co-host
Go shopping, man. Go shopping. But it definitely, I, I, I don't think we're going to see that again. The craziness of a Black Friday shopping.
Antonio
Absolutely not.
Co-host
But it's in, it's in, it's in the textbooks. For sure. It's in the textbooks. Oh, yeah, those, the stampedes and the Fighting over a Barbie doll that's like limited edition. People throwing fists over like an oven. Like, it's crazy.
Antonio
Post Thanksgiving, I want to be chilling. I want to just be hanging out.
Co-host
There's some football today.
Antonio
Yeah, we got college football.
Co-host
College football today. I don't believe there's any NFL games, but I think I don't. Do we have any sire tomorrow games tomorrow for NFL.
Antonio
NFL on Saturday.
Co-host
Yeah. No, but the Canes play tomorrow. Big game for the Canes. We. We covered a little bit about it on. On sports. If you haven't seen that, check it out. Drop today as well.
Antonio
Yep.
Co-host
Go check out our recaps. We talked a little Miami Dolphins. We talked a little Miami Hurricanes. What's gonna happen need to happen for us to go to the playoffs. So it's Thanksgiving and then sports.
Antonio
Absolutely.
Co-host
We talked about it. It's the best time.
Antonio
Yeah, it is.
Co-host
It's a great sports week. It's probably one of the best sports weekends.
Antonio
Yeah.
Co-host
Of the year.
Antonio
Well, now is like peak sports time. So this is the Mecca.
Co-host
Yeah. You have basketball full, full throttle. The heater killing it. The Dolphins, let's see if they have a little miracle juice left in them, you know, Then you have college football playoffs. Then you have NHL in the midst of their things. And then sooner than later, we'll be back to baseball. Yeah.
Antonio
Yeah.
Co-host
Crazy.
Antonio
And golf.
Co-host
And golf. And golf.
Antonio
Golf season starts in a month.
Co-host
It's a great time. And it's like I said, man, it's the last month of 2025. Yeah, it is freaking.
Antonio
It is. What a ride. What a ride it's been. Hope you guys enjoyed your Thanksgiving. Merry Christmas for the whole month. Celebrate Christmas for the whole month. It's been earned. It's been deserved. Listen to that Christmas music.
Co-host
You guys deserve to take it easy on Christmas.
Antonio
Absolutely.
Co-host

Antonio

Hosts: Antonio & Co-host
In this upbeat post-Thanksgiving episode, Antonio and his co-host ease into the holiday spirit, sharing family stories from their Thanksgiving celebrations, debating the best ways to do Christmas, swapping their all-time favorite Christmas tunes, and reflecting on how Black Friday mania has changed over the years. The duo’s laid-back, jovial banter encourages listeners to stress less, enjoy more, and fully embrace the joys of the season.
This episode is a cheerful kickoff to the end-of-year festivities, blending real family vibes, playful nostalgia, and relatable takes on shifting holiday traditions. The hosts’ dynamic Top 5 Christmas Song lists (with a surprising lack of Mariah Carey!) and their good-natured back-and-forth about holiday costumes paint a vibrant picture of how to enjoy the season, stay tranquilo, and focus on the moments – not the stress.
Closing Message:
Take it easy, blast your Christmas favorites, let yourself feel the joy, and don’t sweat the hustle – it’s all about enjoyment, gratitude, and living life “tranquilo.”
