Well, that is the reality, as you know, in New York City and the new reality this morning in Michigan. As Democrat voters in the Great Lakes State chose an unabashed Islamist to bear their party's nomination for the US Senate, Abdul El Said beat out quirky millennial Chungus Haley Stevens by 1 percentage point, much smaller than the recent polling and prediction markets were forecasting. Stevens enjoyed the late endorsement of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, but it wasn't enough. Abdul El Said will take on former Congressman Mike Rogers, who ran unopposed on the Republican side of the Senate primary come November. President Trump reacted to El Said's victory on Truth Social saying, quote, great news for the Republican Party. El Said, a communist loser who hates Jews and Israel, is the projected winner in his race with the socialist. As usual, the polls were way off in this one. She was not expected to do nearly as well as she did. Now the Democrats crazy policies will only get worse. Meanwhile, in Wisconsin, the odds on favorite to become the Democrat gubernatorial nominee, Francesca Hong is having her long history of BATCRAP crazy comments dug up on the Daily now, including this comment she made saying her own son makes her feel uncomfortable.

And now here's this. In the aftermath of the latest Fauci revelations and his declaration last week in front of the Senate that he is the Fifth Amendment. It's a helpful reminder on a granular level the outsized role he had in the unquestioned unhinging of certain sectors of America, like this forum on Reddit called zero Covid Community, which bills itself as a place where people who are passionate about reducing the transition of SARS COV2 can come together, and whose apparent mission statement is that engineering is better than hate. The forum gets tens of thousands of visitors and interactions every week, including this individual who posted in the group earlier this week. Again, this is a real post in the year 2026 from an apparently real form of real people on Reddit. Quote Today I made the choice to unmask for a brief five minute meal with a friend outside, which was my only condition that they followed as a precaution. I had previously asked over text if they could test before, but they did not and had not really mentioned or verbally agreed that they would either. Which sucks. Today was a test of sorts for a lot of things to see how I fare with this friend and how much they even care about me. Every day is a lesson. Even though we were outdoors and I ate pretty quickly, there was a light breeze that I worried about. We sat distanced from one another, but we also sat with another friend. The risk of exposure does increase because of this. My anxiety is only slightly flared over it as I had sprayed my nose beforehand with Covixil and upon returning home promptly rinsed my mouth with CPC mouthwash. I'm just having a difficult time parsing this all alone, even though it's a risk I chose to make and not many other friends really understand my concerns or frustrations with this. And finally, unintentional humor is the best humor. Clay [e-mail] is offering $10 million to the winner of a hypothetical game between the defending WNBA champions the Las Vegas Aces and a high school boys basketball team of his choosing. The point, as Travis has pointed out, is to illustrate why women's sports must be defended and Protected against dudes who feel pretty invading those spaces. That's the point. Which was entirely missed by an androgynous local news anchor in Minnesota named Janna Shorthall.

A voice that often shouts loudly in that debate is a right leaning outlet owned by Fox News called Outkick Sports. And today its founder took to a new stunt. One that really makes no sense if Outkick is really concerned about caring about women and women's sports. So Clay Travis, he's the man behind Outkick. He announced Today he's offering $10 million to the winner of a game of basketball between a high school boys team of his choosing and the WNBA defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces. I thought to myself, why? But obviously the answer is because he thinks it is so impossible for any group of women, let alone the best in the game, that they could ever beat younger and more inexperienced boys. It's a thinly veiled sexist joke revealing the actual truth of how he and his organization feel about women's sports. It's not about caring about them. They think women's sports are a joke.

So 40, mid-40s, 50 years ago are not what mid-40s are today. Right?

Coming up on today's show at the bottom of the hour, we're going to begin by seller hold and then Daniel Horowitz will join us to bring us our weekly dose of woe and lamentation in the final segment of the program. But after watching Aaron's montage, I just want to make sure all of us understand here what just happened in my former home state of Michigan, what is really happening with Islam in America and what we are really up against. And we're not, we're not really up against mental illness. It and it, I mean, that Reddit post that Aaron read, look, it's like an ode to mental illness, but we're not really up against mental illness or a radical ideology. Those are the symptoms. Right. We have to, though. We have to know the disease. So let's get into it. Gretchen Whitmer is probably the most successful Democrat politician the state of Michigan has had in a generation, certainly so far in this century, a decade as governor, queen bee of the state. And she just got rolled by an Islamist in a Senate primary who won despite her endorsement of his opponent. How, why we're going to answer those questions. Why are we seeing Islam surge? Well, one of the things we've talked about on the show before, if you go back to the founding of the country, the, the founders were very much attempting to emulate as best as they could in a civic sense, the covenantal language they saw in the Old Testament between Old Testament Israel and the God of the Bible. This the founders refer to the Sinai covenant numerous times. What is the Sinai Covenant? Ten commandments I've given you and set before you blessing and cursing, life and death. Choose life so that you may live in the land. In other words, the Sinai covenant can essentially be summed up in the following words. If you obey me, I will provide and protect for you. That's essentially what it is that you are a chosen people in the New Testament. Now we're a chosen priesthood in the Old Testament, God's covenant people were a chosen people. And the reason you're set aside whether you're a priesthood in the New Testament or a people in the Old is for the same reason. To be a light shining in the darkness, to be living sacrifices that the love and knowledge of the one true God would be discovered by those who don't know him and are around you. In the case of Old Testament Israel, the nations around you, and in the case of the New Testament and the priesthood of every believer, the neighbor and the people around you. And then they would see that light shining in the darkness that the darkness has not comprehended. Almost like when there's a. In the summertime when there's a light in the pitch dark and you, you tend to see bugs are attracted to this light and they'll just kind of fly around it, right? Even if they get too close and they may be captured by it, they might get singed by it, but they can't help but be attracted to this light in the darkness. Similarly, our unbelieving friends and family, unbelieving neighbors, unbelieving countries, would be attracted to our light shining in the darkness. The founders invoked the biblical language of the shining city on a hill. And so you see this all throughout the founding of the country. Steve, what does this have to do with Islam in America? Folks? Everything, absolutely everything. Just hang in for a minute. So you see this invoking of Providence all throughout the writings of our founders go to the founding document of the country itself. The Declaration of Independence closes with the founding fathers invoking the righteous will of God to judge them. They even use the term to judge. The rectitude of our actions are the words that they use. And rectitude meaning kind of an old world word for motivations, do we have our hearts in the right place? And they are literally saying if what we're doing is not right, if this revolution is not righteous. If we are to continue to live under the thumb of the King of England in submission to him, then do not let this succeed. It couldn't succeed without your blessing anyway. So we invite your discipline. But if we have rightly divided your word, if we have astutely judged history and determined what is right and beautiful and good and true, then we ask for your favor. Then, given that our motivations line up with your revelations, we ask then for you to judge us accordingly in the opposite direction and give us favor. Because there's no way we're going to beat the most powerful nation on earth without it. That's what the Founding Fathers meant with the way that they closed the Declaration of Independence, the invoking of days of fasting, thanksgiving. These again were cut this, these again were covenantal markers. We are, we want to be, in a civic sense, a covenantal people of the one true God. We want his favor, which means that we need to be a nation of his instruments. And you, you've seen God bless that. Otherwise we wouldn't have lasted as long as we have. But one of the marks of a covenantal people receiving the discipline of the God you have covenanted with, that you also see in the Old Testament, is you're overrun with foreigners and foreign gods. And it begs a question. Did we lose the favor of God and thus are facing his punishment because we turned to the foreigners and their foreign gods, or because we disobeyed Him? The punishment is we're being overrun by foreigners and foreign gods. And the answer, of course, would be yes. Yes would be the answer. Yeah. We disobey God to a point collectively, that he then removes his restraining hand. This is Romans 1. He removes that straining hand and lets you now let the freak flag fly all the way. One of my favorite all time television scenes that I've quoted so many times over the years. When Grandpa Zebediah takes Jim Bob up to the top of Walton's Mountain, once he's learned that he's smoking cigarettes, and he goes down to the general store, buys every cigarette in the store, he takes Jim Bob up to the top of Walton's Mountain, it makes him smoke every last one till he chokes. Jim Bob didn't smoke any more cigarettes. That's kind of what I'm talking about. That's a great metaphor for what I'm describing. Oh, you want to be disobedient now? Don't, don't draw moral equivalence here. I'm not saying, you know, wanting to burn lung darts is a violation of the Covenant with the Almighty God, but it's a situational equivalence. Oh, you want to be disobedient? Okay. You refuse to repent despite all the warning signs. Okay, choke on it.

apparently you need to suffer more for your actions so that then you will turn to me for your deliverance. Paul emulates this in a letter he writes to a very woebegone church in a place called Corinth, in the heart of even a lascivious Greek culture. And it was so depraved that even by Greek standards, the Corinthians had their own verb. If you were especially depraved, you were known to Corinthianize. And Paul says about one individual in particular, he says, there it is reported among you that there is a form of sexual sin that is not even tolerated by the pagans. That a young man is sitting there with his father's wife. Now, is that his birth mother? Is it his stepmother? Probably his stepmom. Otherwise Paul would have just said his mom, but we don't know for sure. And he is sitting in church with the wife of his father. Throw that guy out. But then what does Paul say next? So that Satan will have his way with him? What does he mean by that? So that he'll face torment and suffering for his sin. You're giving him an incubator for it. You're letting him, you're making him comfortable in his sin. He has no, no incentive to be repentant and self aware at all. You are fetishizing his sin for him, not convicting him of it. And he's more likely to face, since you're letting him, you're coddling him in the church. He's more likely to face scorn and public shame once this gets out. So throw him out where at least that might happen. And he might return and say, you know what? Yeah, I'm going to kind of rethink that life decision. That was a bad idea. If you are a covenantal people of God, and our founders wanted us to

one of the sure signs that you are facing some sign of divine corporal punishment is you're overrun with foreigners and foreign gods. And it either happened in advance because you lost your zeal for your first love, the one true God, that you turned to these other foreigners and their ways. And therefore God, a jealous God, is not happy to share his glory with your fake demon foreign gods, or. He allows this to happen all the more for the same reasons. Regardless, the outcome is the same. And this is why this is popping up now. Everywhere. And we talked last year that Mamdani is not an outlier but a herald. After 911 we imported almost 4 million people from Islam dominated countries. Every previous generation of this country would have been tempted to sin in the exact opposite direction. The greatest generation when they got attacked by the Japs their inclination was just to round up everybody that looked like these people. Not right. But that's how every other generation before us would have sinned. In response to what happened to us on 911 we sinned in the exact opposite direction and we said you know we ought to do is. I'd import even more of this and then go on a rebranding campaign that this is not a violent religion but one of peace. This is where we are now, someone will always rule, and something will always be worshiped. You're not up against mental illness here. You're not up against a radical ideology. I'm fine with messaging at that, because I don't think the normie voter is ready for us to say out loud what we're really up against. So if we want to message at that, I'm okay with it. I'm trying to draw here is if we're messaging this as mental illness, illness and radical ideology to appeal to normie voters, I'm totally fine with it. I just want to make sure within our own groups, we're not internalizing that messaging. Because if we think that amongst ourselves, we've already lost, what we're really up against is a rival religion. There's only one force on this earth that causes the level of devotion for a mom to say, I saw dreaded whiteness in my own son. And that forces religion, and everybody has one, which is why it's vitally important to have the right one. So if we're just messaging that for the normies and to get, you know, beyond the algorithms, I'm cool with it. I do. Some of that's part of my job. Part of my job is to message things in a way that. But eventually you're going to have to start taking back ground. And I think that taking back ground, I think the time to do that is getting shorter and Shorter.

Correct. There. There still exists a window to peaceably but aggressively deal with this. And the results in Michigan also show that they're still pretty split about how much they're willing to just be brutally honest about where they always wanted to go. Make no mistake, the. The debate between El Said and Gretchen Whitmer is not on substance. It's on speed. It's on speed. Gretchen Whitmer is pretty confident that politically America is not ready or even the state of Michigan on a statewide basis is not ready for what Al Saeed represents. Just straight barebacking Islamism at this point, that she knows that or suspects that the voters aren't ready for that. The debate's not that she substantively opposes it. Kind of similar some of the debates we've had on our own side over the years. How many Republicans really disagree with the left and how many of them just want to do what the left wants to do, but just, you know, at a, at a controlled rate of speed or the term of the. Of the era, managed decline? Right. So Whitmer's camp's gonna lose. They're already losing. The odds increase, are increasing exponentially that AOC is going to be the Democrat or somebody like her will be the Democrat nominee for president in 28 and just straight up run unfiltered on color revolution. And history shows that we have to counter with something other than technocratic mumbo jumbo, but in an inspiring alternative vision for the country that we can also deliver on. I. I think there's a decent chance of this. I think it's at least 50. 50 Doomsday's up against the new Dune film. Doomsday doesn't even have an IMAX release now. Neither did Spider man, but it does now. They actually are pushing the Odyssey out of IMAX now to put Spider man in there in week two. But I think it's 50, 50 that this could be the case. I do.

They trust that particular franchise. It's a good thing. But I mean that seeing that Doomsday trailer again, it looks to me what I thought very early on, way back in the day. And this. first Avengers film came out, I think in 2012.

So yeah, I mean I thought that the whole thing was gonna turn out what I think Doomsday looks like. It's just like a bunch of stuff thrown in there and maybe. And then the storytelling was incredible. I asked you recently just like what's, Is there some lore behind this? You told me. I mean, I'm interested because it makes it seem like they are going to try to go back. But I'm not holding my breath either,

by the way, to Donna, who told me, corrected me, that Bobby Riggs was 55 years old. So even older. So if 45 looked older 50 years ago than it does today, what did 55 seem, you know, 50 years ago? But back to the topic at hand here. The thing that I am concerned about, the biggest problem I think Doomsday has is that there was like no lead up or build up to this and there were hints and stuff of Thanos and everything going on for years before you finally got a chance to see him for the first time. And then he spoke for the first time. Right. We're just kind of coming out of nowhere with Dr. Doom. And you did a series of movies leading up to this moment and another character, Kang, was supposed to be your, your villain. And then Jonathan Majors had some, some issues off screen. So they, and, and his villain really wasn't capturing a lot of imaginations. My, my point is that it's, it's a little bit like a team that doesn't press in a basketball game, but they're down by 20 points. And so they're like, all right, we can't, we can't win this half court anymore. There's not enough possessions. Right. So we're gonna, let's press and you know, see if we can, you know, change the game. Sometimes that does work. Right. But most of the time if you don't press consistently, you're probably not very good at it. Right? You're, Hence the term pressing. It feels like Marvel is pressing here that they recognize now that they are in danger of doing to their brand what Kathleen Kennedy has been allowed to do to Star Wars. And you know, as Critical Drinker says, modern audiences itself, out of any audience at all, that they're now going to go so far in a nostalgia bait that the normie audience is who you need to be a billion dollar movie. It's like you coming to me, you're kind of a normie on this stuff. You're kind of a normie and I know the lore, right? So you come to me, I get the lore. I get exactly, I know exactly what they're trying to do and I'm vibing with it because I read this comic book growing up. Okay, but you're a Normie, she didn't see 10 years of movies kind of hinting at this stuff and making you care about these characters then. Now you want to see how it pays off, right? It, it feels like there. It felt like we served a wine for, you know, in its time with. The first time they did this with Thanos. And it feels like now that they're, they're, they're trying to. This is a shotgun wedding, but hey, she's pregnant, find the person kind of a thing, right? There's been no courting here, no dating here and we're just kind of rushing right to the altar. We'll see.

Yeah, it feels like everything that men used to enjoy in the proper proportion but everybody knew like what it's, what the point was and what its place was. I mean all of this reminds me of the same thing of college football. People are just vomiting stuff out for various degrees of profit and self satisfaction and psychological masturbation. It's all an absolute train wreck. I just, I just don't. There's no reason you should be putting your full faith and credit in any of this stuff because it, it, it resents you, it's using you and it's just sloppy.

I mean I'm not surprised at all that Mark Wayne Mullen has turned out to be what he is because it's what he was as a senator. Just another mid meh, you know, C plus, B minus in a red state that should be only serving up A pluses where Democrats can't win a single friggin county. Right? And stop and think about that. He's the better of the two Oklahoma senators. Mark Twain Mullen's John Wayne next to, you know, James Lankford. So. But, and I do think we should acknowledge this if we're going to be the truth, people, we should acknowledge way more people. It's not enough and it's not what we were hoping for and at least hinted at being promised. Way more people have been deported than would have been of Kamala Harris. 1. That should be acknowledged.

Okay. That should be acknowledged. It's true. Way more. Something like 1.4 million or something had been deported. That's probably 1.399 million more than would have been deported under not Kamala if she had won.

So two things can be true at the same time. You can still be ecstatic that, you know, Trump wanted not Kamala and still say this is not enough of a dent in what was already done to the country and what we're up against.

But a lot of times, lesser of two evils, you just. You have two choices. You have to pick one. Here's one. We. We can have a better choice. That's the frustration with people. We don't just have to accept the lesser here. We can absolutely appoint the better. And in this one, we keep defining what the lesser of two evils is going to be. That's what's so frustrating.

I brought up a point before about if we were going to have these kinds of polling numbers, would we have better. Would we have been better off using that political capital to have these numbers go against us on mass deportations or on a war with Iran? And we all agreed on mass deportations. Right. See, I think we're now at the point now that if we had. If we had. If we had gone to the degree on mass deportations that we have on Iran, we'd be better off politically.

Gas would not be as high along those lines. Fuel and everything else that is transporting would not have gone this high.

At best, we can only hope for conservatives to want to do the hard thing temporarily. We got to get through it. Your point is exactly right. We just needed to become inevitable on this issue. This is just the new normal. And that's something conservatives are terrible about because they are always pulling their punches because they're worshiping all kinds of idols on the side that they like more.

So are you saying, Todd, that maybe once a couple of crazy lefties commit suicide by border patrol in Minneapolis, maybe, just maybe, we should reevaluate pulling out of Minneapolis and instead double down?

The political system now is just thinking that they've cleared enough brush and made this culturally palatable that it can just run on it as a platform now.

So we had something called Covid in 2020 where for the first time ever, we printed exponentially more money than we usually print to the point that the metabolism of our economic structure and the federal Reserve monetary morphine games they played to shield us from its damage. It overwhelmed it, it overwhelmed that metabolism and it created a vicious cycle of debt, spending, inflation, which creates even more of a need to spend even more and go into debt more, and stagflation. And that, that was launched, you know, obviously at the depression of the lockdown itself. But then the effects of that, even after we weren't locked down, Biden spent even more. Trump came back in. Nothing fundamentally changed with that. So that's why burritos are expensive. That's why everything's expensive. That's the core of it. Now, there's two separate issues here where Trump got up to bed and, all right, so what's your economic plan? So obviously he chose to do certain things and not do certain things. So the things he did are going to be associated with the current pain. But the core of it was baked in before. So you have the Iran war, which is mainly exacerbating the things that are very sensitive to short term market volatility, like gas prices. And then you have the tariffs, which affected certain things. But at its core, it's the, it's, it's the spending and the debt and that's going to keep happening.

So let's talk about messaging. Right there. There's a, there's a battle happening within our ranks. I don't know if you've noticed it or not right now about the messaging. Okay, that we're still, we still have the most affordable food prices of any other industrialized nation, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I'm at the point, by the way, Daniel, just as a backdrop, if you look at how people are coming down on all these sides, I don't even participate in most of these debates because it just looks to me like it's just a shadow Rubio Vance primary taking place online and that there just seems to be a group of people that have decided that everything Trump does is great. We message it as great and positive because if we slurp him enough, then he'll endorse our guy Rubio so we can, we can get our way in 28. That's how I see 90% of these debates just breaking down as proxies of Rubio Vance, 28, as if Trump's going to give a rip what any of us think whatsoever, and he's just going to make the pick for us and do whatever the hell he wants, like he always does. Okay? So the whole thing is a waste of my time, which is why I don't participate. But, you know, there is A school of thought out there that actually the economy is not doing poorly at all. Stock market's great, you know, and Gen Zers should just quit complaining about how much avocado toast costs. There's that line of thought. There's another line of thought out there that says, yeah, and, and things were not great before we started this war. And now gas is spiraled and skyrocketed and diesel has. So that's the fuel that transports all these foods and goods and services, which is only making it worse. So what do you think? Where do you come down on this?

As always, neither. None of the above. So I find it interesting actually, in my view, and again, it depends who you're talking about. But most of them, they're slurping Trump on both sides of it at the expense of getting to the truth of it. So there's one side that is going along straight with the Trump messaging golden economy. Look at the stock market. Things are amazing and see no evil, hear no evil. Either because their motivation is to slurp Trump or they want to defend the decision to kind of go to war with Iran. Although I don't even see much of a war. Again, I don't know what we're doing there. And then there is the, the other side, which I would say is more like MAGA Inc. So they're kind of interesting. I agree with their critique of them. What are you, what are you talking about? You know, most people can't afford anything, but without mentioning names. Names, Steven, I think you know what I'm talking about almost to a person. Those people refused to say a word before the Iran war and all last year they were also mimicking we're so back the golden economy. And it was only once you could parlay it into. But the neocons, you know, that they're suddenly concerned about that. But then they won't put the blame on the man himself. Kind of like you remember, the people that wouldn't take the fight to Trump for supporting the vaccines was like Ben Shapiro, like, as if Ben Shapiro has power over the vaccines. All right? Now he could defend him, attack him, but you know, Trump is the bigger power. So it's a similar thing here. It's like, well, that crowd's causing the inflation. Well, I mean, if you're bothered by it, I think we know where it's coming from. So I would argue they're actually both trying to avoid the 800 pound gorilla in the room. And that's because they're actually very similar. It's all about brand building, not mica 6, 8 for the public. So you need to build into what is algorithmically friendly. So it's algorithmically friendly to be with Trump. It's algorithmically friendly to be with, like, yeah, Israel somehow is involved, but it's not algorithmically friendly to say what I'm saying. And I think I, I, I see very few people saying this, so, you know, I've, you've asked me directly for the last couple months. I am not a fan of the decision and strategy of what we're doing in the Middle East. With that said, I think it's a little bit insidious. The same people that refused to utter a word about the economy and even praised it until this happened, and they still refused to say how we got here.

I think, I don't think being critical of Trump works on him at all anymore. Just my own observations. I don't think he cares. I don't think it's moves him at all. He doesn't face the electorate anymore. I, I don't, I just don't think it care. I don't think he cares. I don't. And I'm beginning to think when I defended him earlier this summer or this spring when he said he didn't care about the midterms as well, he's got to say that. So it doesn't look like he's, you know, feeling political pressure in front of the Iranians. I'm starting to think maybe it's true. I mean, if I, I said yesterday on the show that if I told the audience in April that we're still going to be doing this four months later, you know, it feels like 15 days to flatten Iran, 30 days to slow the spread of Iran and Hormuz. I'm beginning to think maybe he doesn't, doesn't care, which, you know, I sort of admire. You know, I think I'm doing something that's generationally important. Okay, cool. You know, Iran has been an enemy for a generation, but I'm kind of like you. This is starting to feel like Ukraine and Russia to me. Like, I'm told there's this great big war going on. What is happening? Like, where's the footage? Where are the videos? What are we doing? I, I don't, to me, vaporize that regime to the fourth generation or come the hell home. What are we doing? What are we doing?

This is my, this is the point I've been making, that I don't see how this services any foreign policy ideology. That's, I don't see how that's working. But again, Steve, I am very passionate about this because we have political amnesia that people can't remember what was before them three seconds ago. As much as I actually am against this and I think it is a problem. At the same time, I don't want it to be simplified as a scapegoat because people are very one minded that the takeaway is, oh, just don't get involved in foreign wars and we'll be live happily ever after. This was all baked in both economically and also politically. If you look at the RCP trend line, the let's say generic ballot Trump approval rating, it has progressed after he had about, I don't have the chart in front of me, maybe four to six months grace, and then they did nothing with it and then it just went down and down and down. Now it did continue to get worse after what, February 28th or so when he, you know, launched the strikes. But I don't see mathematically, I haven't done a statistical regression on it, but I mean we were getting crushed in every primary turnout, every special election that whole year. I don't say that to defend his decision. Iran. I just want to put it into context that I think broadly we've been using our political capital for all the pain and no gain and nothing productive. And I don't understand what we're getting from this whole enterprise. So when trying to triage this going forward, I think it's about a lot more than man. Had he not made that decision, we would be like off to the promised land. No, I mean it's much deeper than that.

We've been discussing on the show here and I'd love to get your verdict on this. We've discussed it a few times over the last couple of months as maybe it's a one to one. I am now convinced that if we had used up the amount of political capital we have used on whatever this is in Iran, if we had used this on mass deportations instead, we'd be way better off. Trump's numbers might still be about where they are. Our overall poll numbers might still be where they are, but they might be more recoverable because the higher cost we're seeing from whatever the hell we're doing in the Middle east, we would not be absorbing that and then passing that on because the cost of that fuel is raising the cost of everything that fuel transports. At the same time, our base would be, would be, we'd have way more, we'd be way more united on a message other than a shadow primary, which may never happen. And the first vote is 19, 18 and a half months away. And Trump may just cancel that primary by endorsing one candidate anyway and making the whole damn exercise. We just wasted our time on slitting each other's throats. Completely irrelevant. We would have been more unified on a message. We would have tried to deliver on one of the main things we got elected on in the last election. We wouldn't have made the affordability crisis and everything else even worse. Am I wrong?

No. I mean, you know, I'm very passionate about that. I just want to start with your latter point first. I agree with you 100% about the presidential primary because I just want to extrapolate that we're seeing a 90%, you know, Trump success rate with lower offices, Congress and, you know, statewide where people don't focus on as much. So certainly you extrapolate that to presidential. If he comes and endorses a candidate, I really don't see a, a way around that because he would get a third term. You know, if he could run for a third term, he would get it. So whoever he chooses would, would, you know, 99% win. I definitely agree with that. And you know, just in general, I had a candidate on for Wyoming governor today. And the point I made is if we can't do what we want in a state Republicans win by, by a 40 point margin, then I don't even know what we're doing here anyway, so. So that's why. Yeah, I don't care about presidential. I would say your point is the central message I've been pointing out for 19 months. The day after, you know, we're at Blaze studio the day after election. I did it like one in the morning, two in the morning. I did my show and I said this time must be different. And I laid out for a couple of weeks exactly what we need to be doing, exactly the political capital. And people often say, well, we don't have the votes or people wouldn't want it. And you look back on the tariffs, on the Iran war, on all this family connection stuff, and you know, it's not that they don't focus on must pass bills they do. They just don't do it for the stuff we want. Sanctuary city, judicial jurisdiction stripping, fixing the ina, obviously the anchor baby stuff, none of it. Trump hasn't even given a speech on that. But do you know what they did put in what was going to be the clean cr. The Senate's voting on it now and they'll vote on it, you know, before September 30th in the house and when they come back from recess to make sure that there's more hemp and all these psychedelics that everyone gets addicted to and, you know, all that stuff. And there's the hemp, there's the marijuana, there's the big tech, there's the crypto, there's the mining deals in Kazakhstan, you know what I mean? Like, I don't know what to tell you. The New York Times does a whole article on Susie Weil's son in law and the hemp companies. I mean, I'd like to say, oh, that's the New York Times, but it's true. I mean, this is where the focus is and I think you're probably right now about Trump being beyond gettable, but I don't think it was like that for a while because there were times we got him off certain nominees and certain policies.

I think it was like that for a time. I just don't think it's like that anymore. I don't, I don't think he listens to any of us. I just don't think he cares. And I, I think that he's got his own agenda and, and I'm glad he won the last election, but I think it's, you know, it's pretty obvious that he just thinks that any point, he can do whatever he wants at this point and, and, and you know, the base will come hither at this point and he's got a lot of evidence to suggest he's right about that, frankly.

He's right. Yeah, he's right. So I, I think he could do whatever he wants. And if you look from his perspective, I've said this before, his goal was not revenge. I will be your revenge. Not even personal political revenge with the deep state. It's, he wants to build a, his business is the political empire of the Republican Party. And I think to your point about the next primary, he will control that. And despite no matter what, the kings

Yeah. And both of you more or less agreed. My, I just kept thinking of the 2022 red wave that didn't happen, which you once again reset relatively recently. And you know, also talking about the normies today and who they are and they're not like us. I just, every minute that goes by that we get closer to these midterms, the less optimistic I am about any kind of sanity prevailing.

I think the challenge, one challenge. I kind of mentioned this off the air. I think before we came into the show, maybe during one of the breaks, is messaging what they're doing or attempting to do with the fraud. If it is true that just in the first four months of the fraud czar, or first six months, whatever it's been, of J.D. vance being the frauds are, they've discovered like $200 billion in fraud. Now, I don't know if that's annualized or total over a number of years, what have you. If that's true, then the next step needs to be excising that budgeted fraud out of the federal budget. Which means what? The money printer is going to go brrr. More or less. Or less. Less often, I should say. Easy for me to say. Which means what? Your currency is not going to be devalued, which means what? Prices are not gonna go up as fast. How do you message that? Because that's like five different points there. I think there's maybe a gold mine there. If they can figure out how to message that really, really effectively. I do think probably the best way to do it is just what Brandon Gill did that we read earlier in the show. It's immigration. Hey, why are eggs so. Well, eggs aren't expensive anymore like they were under Biden. But why is the price of groceries still going up? Why is it still ridiculously expensive? You know, you can say, you know, prices aren't going back to what they were before 2019. But the more people we have, the more competition there is for prices and the higher prices are pushed. I don't know. I think it's probably just that simple.

But at the end of the day, we got to get focused on domestic issues and know the reflecting pool and know the ballroom. Those do not count as domestic issues.
