When the Avengers are assembled to contain a super threat in New York City, Spider-Man is given the most important job of all: to make sure all the Avengers’ super pets are safe! Spidey wants in on the bad guy fighting action, but with great power comes great pet sitting. This book is actually a graphic novel, so I have added a touch of commentary to make it a little friendlier to an audio format. It truly is a delight; I hope you enjoy it!Want to support the show? Buy me a coffee:https://buymeacoffee.com/storiesonstoriesHave a comment, suggestion, or story to share? Alice sits down with her Bible storybook and reads the Lord's Prayer–the words Jesus used when He taught His followers to pray. As she reads, Alice writes down her own thoughts to share. This book, much like Alice's books on the Psalms and Proverbs, contains lots of interpretive additions to God's word. I hope that, whether or not you agree with her interpretations, this book will inspire you to read and engage with Scripture and draw your own conclusions!Want to support the show? Alice opens her Bible storybook to read the Psalms and Proverbs. Then, she writes her own poems to share.Obviously all books ABOUT the Bible that AREN'T the Bible are varying degrees of interpretive. This book is the same. Though I don't necessarily agree with every reflection "Alice" makes, I think her intentional reading of, reflection upon, and personal synthesis/application from the Scriptures are a delightful practice that we could all engage in! I hope this story encourages you to pick up a copy of the Bible and make some reflections of your own!Want to support the show?
