Are you ready to bounce back to life like a rubberband? We hope so! Because ready or not, here's the newest episode of Strange Phenomena!

This week, we're starting the new season with the first song from The Red Shoes album, the bouncy (appropriately so!) Rubberband Girl! Released as a single in September 1993, Rubberband Girl was the first of five singles from The Red Shoes. It was a top 20 hit in the UK and was even released as a single in the United States! Cecilee is joined by fellow Kate fan James diBenedetto, who has been a Kate fan since the 90s and counts this song as one of his favorite Kate songs! We'll talk about the history of this song, from its release as a single, to the Directors' Cut version, to what Kate herself as said about this song!
