They recently reconnected and Ashley's like, oh, you want him to come on and tell the story, his side of the story? And I was like, yeah. So he just came on, he just called in. I got the Whole story of him and his wife at the time, how they wound up hooking up with Ashley, who was just like a friend of. They were way older than her. She was though, in her twenties, and they all like hooked up. He talks about how that happened out of nowhere, what went down that first weekend and then how it went from them hooking up together to them hooking up solo. Okay. It's really interesting how that happened because the wife was kind of like pushing for it in the beginning, but then they wound up like cheating together behind the wife's back. And then she caught them. And you're gonna hear all the details of all of that stuff he says at the end. This is like a Jerry Springer episode. I'm like, it kind of is. I was always, oh, it's kind of like a porn story or. He's right. Like a Jerry Springer story. I mean, you can't make this up. I thought she was making it up because it was so crazy. It's like something like I said, you think was made up, but it's so real. And you're going to hear all the details from him. I love hearing the same story from different people. It's always super interesting. I do have to say that you will maybe hear some inconsistencies right from the get go. There were things that he didn't like, bring up or tell the same way that Ashley did. But because I'm just going to tell you because already got all of the proof, seen all of the text messages and all of the pics and talked to Ashley on numerous occasions. I know that this whole story is legit and I just assume and believe it's because he just doesn't remember things properly. You know what I mean? This was a long time ago. His memory isn't as good as Ashley's. That makes sense to me. He's way older than her. He's a guy, she's a girl. You know, these are the things that happen. But the whole story is so great. Okay. Thanks for coming on. You got that same accent that Ashley has. Where the heck are you Guys are from some place where you all talk alike. I feel like anyone that lives by, you know. Right. I'm not. I don't like to give out information of like, you know, where people Live what they do for a living. And this is how I keep my callers anonymous. You know who you are. And what we're going to be talking about is you are the stepdad in Ashley's story. Now, I just re aired Ashley's episode. Her episode was episode 7:40. The title, and it's all you need to hear is the title, because it is literally, Ashley slept with her best friend's mom and stepdad and it ended badly. Okay, that's the title. I mean, if you don't get a better title than that, that I don't know what the is. You know what's better than that title? The actual story. Okay, that's better than the title. It lives up to the whole. The title. Right. And she called in into that. And actually that book, that. That episode made it into my book. So I re aired that episode recently for people to hear because she told, first of all, that was to promote my audiobook, which is coming out August 25th. But what she told me recently is that you were coming on to tell your side of the story. And I'm like, oh, my God, this is like, amazing. We're going to get the stepdad's version of this, the same story. And, you know, the story is you wound up your stepdaughter's high school best friend. Now, it wasn't when she was in high school. Okay, we're not talking anything like that. Okay. She was out of high school. Was she friends with your stepdaughter at that time? I don't remember.

Yeah, they were friends. They all went to school together. You know, the oldest one was. She actually graduated with was, you know, really. They were really close. And, you know, before I ever entered in the picture, it was a, you know, basically the. The mom brought the kid in outside and made her part of the family type deal.

Right. And Ashley was really friends. So when she was friends with the daughter, though, you weren't in the picture, Right. You came in later after they graduated from high school, Correct?

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. She was. She was already in her 20s when this all happened.

Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. I couldn't have had that in my book. I wouldn't even have that on my show. I don't do anything bad like that. But anyway, so you. So what do you remember the first time you met her? Because she stayed friends, even though she kind of lost touch with the daughter, she was still friends with the mom, which is your. Was your wife at the time. And so are you currently with her still or. No.

Yeah. So I think she come over with one of the stepdaughters. And the very first time I met her was. I think they were a senior in high school. But it was, you know, she has come to the house and, and that was. I think they were there for probably 10 or 15 minutes. And then, you know, they did went off and did their own thing. And then I didn't see her for a couple of years and I'd actually, we had moved out of state for my job and my, my ex wife was basically like, hey, guess who I've reconnected with? Bloody, bloody this, that and the third. And she's actually coming over and I'm like, what? You know, like, what the is going on with this? And then she was like, yeah, she'll be here in a little bit. And that was the first wind I got of it. And then, and then it meant it was, it was full blown after that.

Okay, but you're like alluding to the fact that you guys all already. But like when she's telling you at this point, I'm assuming, you know, you're married to this woman and she's gonna invite this young girl that was friends with her kids over that you're not thinking sex, right? I mean, why are you like, oh, I couldn't believe when she invited her over, did she allude to the fact that she was inviting her over, like, wink, wink?

No, no. And that was, that was the whole thing. Because, I mean, I, you know, I knew her when she was, when she was still in high school. So, you know, it ever crossed my mind, of course, I mean, I'm, you know, I was middle aged and I'm like, all right. Because the biggest thing was, it was she had told me like, you know, she works, she's got clients, and then, you know, in the part of the country that we were in, and she's like over here every couple of weeks and I'm like, whatever, you know, okay,

What goes down? I mean, how does it go from this is this girl that you used to know and is now just friendly with the family to you guys? Like, Hooking up.

So I think I'm actually sitting on the couch watching tv, and she pulls in, walks in. You. I hadn't seen her in years, and she looked good, I ain't gonna lie. And so I think she come in. She's a little nervous at first, which I think I don't. You know, I really don't know what the hell was going on, but she kind of seemed like a little nervous at first. And then, you know, her. My ex would, you know, they were just talking and. And reminiscing and all that bs and. And then I think. I don't know, it was probably. I think she'd been there for like 40. And I think both of them, because my ex was a heavy drinker also. I think they had. They had a glass of wine, a piece. But anyways, I remember just. I was sitting on the couch and how it started off was actually just. She just climbed on top of me and, you know, pulled her top off and like, oh, my God, man, it was on.

So, yeah, that was all discussed.

And the thing about it is, is Ashley wouldn't have been. So I. I don't really know what the hell I could sit there and say. I think she was more. I went to cut off, but I cut the rear door off and accidentally left the front door on. So she called her? Yeah, she called us going in and out and you know, she saved it. She won't say anything. Well then all of a sudden, I mean, my ex is very smart. I ain't gonna lie. I mean, she was very, very smart. But she just called me like, hey, blah, blah, like nothing going on. And like, she's like, why won't you FaceTime me? And I'm like, oh, you know, I'm busted. So actually, like, I'm like, hey, hide behind this big ass mirror and all this. And what called it was is because she left her eye watch on the end table. And that's where I got busted. Busted. The. The camera got me. But when my ex come back home, I mean, it was a dead giveaway because she knew what her I watch was. And she walked in the house and was there probably 30 minutes and she was like, what the is this? And I'm like, oh, why wait, I

And you know, I've done dirty, blah, blah, blah. But, you know, we kind of made amends and she come back home and then she found that and she was like, I already knew. And I was like, what are you talking about? And that's when she pulls out the videos of the cameras. And I'm just like. I'm like, how in the hell can I be so damn dumb, man? So, yeah, and then we kind of made amends. And then it was, of course, you know, the fl. The table totally flipped because then it was, you know, that she ain't never allowed back in this house and I don't want to have nothing to do with her. And this, that and the third, and I mean, it was. It would have been ordeal, but, you know, me and Ashley, we still kind of talked, you know, here and there and. And then I think it just like, it kind of petered out. It just kind of started. It just like went away because, you know, she was asking for something that I couldn't give her at the time, you know, because I was in love with my ex. Very, very much in love with her. And, you know, I couldn't give Ashley what she needed and what she wanted at the time.

And then like I would meet her and then it would be like. And I'd go back home and then, you know, I would hear from her again for a year, a year and a half and it would, hey, what are you doing? And I already know then. So. So yeah, I mean, that's just what it turned into. But.

By no means. No means at all. And you know, of course you might find out or whatnot. And then it would stop and everything would pick back up where it was supposed to be going. But you know, we, me and my ex, we had had after Ashley was probably three or four encounters with different women. I mean, I remember even going to a restaurant and my ex would even write her phone number down on receipts to hand it to a waitress that she thought was hot. I mean, I mean, like that's how, that's how it was just like that.

And looking back, I wish I'd have done things different, but no, I never stepped out on her other. Unless she knew about it. But she was there.

Right. So what's wrong is that you literally said the words came out of your mouth that, you know, when it. When the. When the marriage was just regular and stuff, like something was missing and that's why you would talk to someone and that's why people don't like. Like that, because it does mean something. Right. Like, you were like, not getting something at home. Like, you weren't that happy. That's. That's a sign of that. Right. So it's not like, innocent. And that's gonna upset a partner. Like, why are you doing that? Like, what does that mean? You know, that's what the partner feel. It makes the partner feel very insecure because they. They know. That's why you're. You know, on some level, you know, something must be wrong here because why the are you going and talking to that woman? And you admitted something was wrong. So it wasn't like, innocent. It was a symptom of a problem that you guys were having in your relationship, and she was picking up on it. And of course that's going to make her upset. Plus, you had cheated on her and she doesn't trust you. And whenever you catch somebody doing something deceitful, it's hard to gain trust back. Right. That takes a while.

Dinner, you know, and here I am, like 15 hours away from home, like I didn't know anybody. I get home and like, because we lived in a luxury apartment, so I, you know, I didn't really look for a car. But I pull in, I walk inside and like, she's not there. And I'm like, what the. Well, I try to call her and like, her phone goes straight to voicemail. I'm like, well, this is odd. So I'm like losing my fear because she was the type of woman that was like. Like I said she was, she looked, she was gorgeous. But she wouldn't look at her surroundings. Like, she had a convertible Mercedes and she would sit in a parking lot and like, with the top down and wouldn't pay attention to anything. I mean, like, people could just grab her ass, you know, and where we lived at in the state, that state that we lived in, you know, it was 45 minutes either direction. You know, you're. You're on the coast. So she could have been thrown in a box and been across sea. I would have never at all. So, you know, it wasn't when she did that, yeah, freaked me the hell out because I'm like, where the happened to her? What? Oh, she was at her swinger friend's house. So, yeah, three states away, about 20 hours from me. But what had happened was like, I said, she even. She lied to me all day. They asked me what for once for dinner. And then I get home and I can't. I can't find her phone and going to voicemail. Then all of a sudden I get a text like a book telling me that the car that I just bought her is sitting in C18. It's a airport, that she caught a plane and she flew up to there, blah, blah, blah, this and that laugh. So, yeah, man, I mean, I'm talking it me up mentally with all that every single. And I don't know why I stayed with her. Everybody's like, it's your fault. I'M like, I know it is.

She left me seven times. It was my fault that I stayed. But every time, I kept thinking that she would change and she would come back and it would be normal and it would be great. It'd be awesome for six months to a year and then she'd be gone. The wind blew.
