A (0:09)
And I'm Hari Kondabolu, a comedian and someone who once googled do I have scurvy at 3am on health stuff, we're.
B (0:16)
Talking about health in a different way.
A (0:18)
It's not only about what we can do to improve our health, but also.
B (0:21)
What our health says about us and the way we're living.
A (0:24)
Like our episode where we look at a potential new breakthrough treatment for type 1 diabetes.
B (0:29)
Type 1 is actually an autoimmune disease. Basically, the person with type 1, their body destroys their own pancreas cells that make the insulin. Or our in depth analysis of how incredible mangoes are.
A (0:48)
Oh, it's hard to explain to rest of the world that like, your mangoes are fine because mangoes are incredible. But like, you don't even know. You don't know, you don't know. We'll also be interviewing experts about their specialties and what they find to be essential for good health and healthcare.
C (1:06)
We as doctors are so trained to see, like, repetition, to see what's happening, to see patterns, that we hear a story, we start to know what's going on. I do think there's something to be said for that, but just letting them tell their story is huge.
B (1:23)
And we'll be taking your questions whether they be big, small or weird. Actually, honestly, the weirder the better.
A (1:31)
That's a very good question about chia seeds, which by the way, I recently discovered are the same chia seeds from Cha Cha Chichia Pets. They're the same ones. These are the same.
B (1:44)
I love those commercials.
A (1:49)
It's the same stuff like, why were we wasting it on toys when we could have been saving our lives? For us, health is not about trying to live forever. It's about practical advice that can improve our well being.
