Episode #7: The green-eyed monster. The possession potion. Love’s little insecurity… no matter what you call it, jealousy can not only hinder intimacy, it can outright destroy a relationship. Most of us have been there. We’ve either been on the receiving end of a jealous lover, or we WERE the jealous lover. No matter what side you were/are on, jealousy isn’t all bad.

I know. I know. “But Bobby, jealousy is never good!” Au contraire mon frère (or however the French say that). Yes, unchecked jealousy is a poison to any relationship, but jealousy is also a sign for both people involved to take a closer look at things to communicate and work through some issues.

Is this an easy thing to do? No. Will there be vulnerability, possible disappointment, and tears? More than likely. But on the other side of that difficult conversation is freedom and deeper connection.
