Are you rolling? Is that how you say action? You know what? I'm just. Do you say action?
B (0:05)
You know what?
A (0:06)
We're having a conversation and ignore the cameras. I know it's hard to, because there's one right over my shoulder, and I'm looking at one here. And then the lights seem very unnatural and they get a little warm. But just try to shut all of that out, and it's just us having a conversation like we did a half an hour ago when we met. Can you just. Do you mind saying action just before you start just to. I've always wanted to be like. On the George Lopez Show. I saw the behind the scenes of George Lopez, and it was on Entertainment Tonight, and before he started talking, somebody was like, action. So if you. I mean, I'm no George Lopez or anything like that, but I.

If you just do it, I think it might kick it in a little bit better.
A (0:58)
Okay. Action's usually reserved for film shoots when they do film, because it actually syncs up the sound and the film. And we're shooting video today, so we don't really need to do that. But if you insist, we could do that. Yeah.

It's just one word, if you don't mind. TBTL. Oh, snap. This comedian was crazy in the 80s with his raw and delirious routines. Derek.
A (1:24)
Oh, he's hilarious, dog.
B (1:25)
Who is Rick Moranis?
A (1:26)
I'd like to say that I'm passionate about walking and I'm passionate about tbtl, and I think, what a great combo. I love to walk and listen to TBTL at the same time.
B (1:39)
I think the only promotion I'm interested in is promoting you guys to generals.
A (1:43)
In my friendship army.
B (1:44)
Yes, sir.

You know, this is beginning to seriously undermine my self esteem. Well, all right. Hello, good morning, and welcome, everyone, to a Tuesday edition of tbtl, the show that just might be too beautiful to live. It's an audiophiles nightmare. My name is Luke Burbank. I am your host. He started recording in the early 80s. He's known for his love songs and his political songs. Coming to you from the Madrona Hill studio, perched high above the mighty Columbia, where it has just been storming like, oh, my God. Lights flickering, garbage cans ending up two neighborhoods away. I was under the impression that we were through the worst of this atmospheric river, but I guess it was actually just starting. So here we are together again on the imaginary radio for episode 4410 in a collector series, Let the fun begin. Last night, as I was battening down the hatches and Watching the rain stream across the windows, I was also going through a personal transformation. I got my record place player, and I'm officially a jazz man. On vinyl, there's nothing classier than boring jazz music. I am here to tell you. Very excited to talk about this with all of you. Also, when I wasn't playing jazz music on my record player, I was watching the White Lotus, which is pretty good so far, Season three.
