Hey, Aquarius. This is your rising sign horoscope for the entire year of 2026. Joining me today is astrologer Leisa Schaim, and I am Chris Brennan of the Astrology podcast. And we're gonna be looking at the entire year ahead over the next 12 months and seeing what the transits look like for you this year. So, hey, Leisa, thanks for joining me for doing horoscopes this year.
B
Hey, Chris. Glad to be here.
A
Yeah. So we're gonna do a big picture overview, and like I said, we would recommend watching the horoscope that matches your rising sign if you know your birth time. Although if you don't know, then you can look at the one that matches your sun sign. And we're gonna give big picture overview themes this year, so let's go ahead and jump right into it. So here's the planetary movements calendar that shows where the planets will start at the beginning of the year and how far through the signs of the zodiac they'll get by the end of the year. And here's the major transits we're gonna focus on, starting with the Saturn Neptune conjunction that's gonna take place in February, where right before that happens, Saturn and Neptune are both gonna move into the sign of Aries and depart from and end their long transits through the sign of they've been going through for many years now. So this is gonna represent a shift of those two slow moving outer planets from your second house of finances into your third house of communication, short distance travel, siblings and neighbors. So pretty big shift early in the year.
B
Mm. So Saturn entered Pisces in your second House of Personal Income and Finances in March 2023. So it's been there for the last few years along with Neptune for much longer. And so this is ending a phase in the beginning this year where there might have been either greater constraint on your personal income or finances, or you might have had to focus more on your finances for some reason, or it might have been a time where you had even greater expenses going out and that you had to spend more money on. There might have also been more nebulousness around something financial during that time. So all of that energy is moving out of your personal financial sector. So that's really good news for a lot of people, I think, in terms of that area of life. Coming back more to neutrality.
A
Yeah, absolutely. And having the alleviation of some of the challenges and obstacles and difficulties regarding finances that have been much more prominent, especially since March of 2023.
B
Right. So those transits are now moving into your third house. So for some people, that'll be a time when there may be either greater attention or support needing to be paid to siblings or cousins or other extended relatives. You may have sort of strain or, you know, distance in your relationship at this time, or that person in your life may be going through a harder time than usual for some reason. It can also be a time where you're putting greater focus and work towards communication skills. So either like learning a new language or how you communicate, whether in speaking or writing, you're putting more intentional work into. It can be also a time where you're putting more attention to that area because you're trying to create a body of communication, like a book or like a new podcast or something like that, where you're trying to create something new that you've only imagined up to this point around communications.
A
Yeah, and sometimes the Saturn transit in the third house can bring greater sense of distance and even coldness in terms of your relationships with some of the third house people, which can be like siblings. Maybe for some reason, you're feeling a little bit more distance with your siblings than normal or. Or other extended relatives who are otherwise playing an important role in your life, which can include grandparents or aunts and uncles. It can even be extended to neighbors and people that live in your neighborhood who you were otherwise usually on friendly terms with. But for some reason, there's some challenges and obstacles and difficulty and coldness that arises during this time. And one of the things that's gonna be tricky about that is, especially around February, when the Saturn and Neptune conjunction comes together and goes exactly. That's this really nebulous energy that I've been calling the reality distortion field, which can make it hard to tell the difference between what's real versus what's not or what's true versus what's false, which for all of us, we've been experiencing in, let's say, the era of technology by seeing things like the artificially generated video, for example, as an example of that, that's been getting better and better as this conjunction's been forming over the past three years. But it's also affecting us in very personal ways sometimes. And for you, because it's falling in your third house of those relationships related to siblings and neighbors and other things like that, there may be some nebulousness surrounding why there's distance between you and some of these people that's suddenly arising at this time. And I think it's going to be really important to avoid making strong Decisions around February regarding that. Because you may not have a clear picture of what's actually going on. And it could lead you to making mist if your perception of reality isn't as clear as you might think it is at this time. But that will start to dissipate after February as that conjunction starts to move away.
B
Yeah. There can be some confusion in your connections with those people we were mentioning in that area of your life, especially in February. But to an extent, even beyond that, there can be some sort of nebulousness where they feel to you, they feel hard to pin down or you don't really understand what's going on with them. There's some lack of clarity going on. Yeah. So definitely be careful of that, especially in February. Let's see, what have we not mentioned about that? Is that all?
A
I would just add that sometimes there can be issues with short distance travel. Like your car could run into issues or break down for unclear reasons. You could be having to go back to the mechanic a few times and them having trouble diagnosing the problem. There can also be issues or things that inhibit your ability to communicate for some reason. But again, that make it so that your communication is not just inhibited through Saturn, but also a little bit more nebulous and not clear. That's impinging your ability to communicate as clearly as you would like or even to communicate at all. So that's just kind of some of the archetypal energy. But again, that's gonna peak around February and then hopefully dissipate after that. So that's our first major transit of the year. Then we move into next major transit, which is that our first eclipse season starts in February and March with a pair of eclipses that take place in the signs of Aquarius and Virgo, which is your first house of mind and body and self and your eighth house of shared resources.
B
Yeah. And this first Aquarius eclipse, it's going to be the first in the series of Aquarius Leo eclipses that we're starting this year. And so an eclipse in your first house can bring important beginnings and endings with regard to anything involving your sense of self, Whether that's your inner sense of self, how you present yourself in the world can also be things involving your appearance as part of that, Whether that's like hairstyle or clothing. It can also be how you take care of your body or health issues coming up, either paying attention to health, either proactively or reactively or both. But it's generally just a time where it's good to, you know, at some points in time, it's good to pay attention, pay more attention, or you have to pay more attention to certain relationships in your life. But at other times, there can be things that trigger rebalancing and going back to paying more attention to yourself and what do I want as an individual? And that sort of thing. So that's the kind of eclipse that we're happening, that. That's happening with that first one in Aquarius.
A
Yeah. And it's really hard to nail down what that means ahead of time in terms of when you tell somebody there's going to be changes to their sense of self that's going to impact their relationships. But it's going to play out this year starting with this first eclipse in Aquarius, where you're going to be starting to focus more closely on yourself and figuring out who you are in terms of your identity and what you want in life. And then six months later, we're gonna have an eclipse that takes place in Leo in your seventh house of relationships. And then all of a sudden, the question of relationships is gonna become more of a dominant focus for you. And so this is opening up a series of eclipses in 2026, going into 2027, that's gonna be you teeter tottering back and forth between sometimes focusing more on yourself and your own identity, and other times focusing on your relationships more and going to extremes, but then eventually trying to find a balance between those two.
B
Right. And then the next eclipse is going to be in Virgo, which is in your eighth house. And that's already in process. That eclipse series of Virgo Pisces. So we've had two eclipses there already in 2025, and there'll be another one in early 2027. So this is not a new area for you in terms of the themes, but it'll involve things like shared resources, other people's money, partner's income. Things involving taxes, loans, debt, or sometimes expenses can kind of go either in second or eighth. Insurance also can go in the eighth house. So dealing with insurance for some reason. So there can be an important beginning or ending with regard to one of those topics, one or more of those topics in your life. It can be a time where there's a change in how you allocate your shared resources. If you have a partner, either personal or business partner, it can be a time where there's changes going on in your partner's ability to make an income. Maybe they're changing jobs, like a job is ending, or they got a new job and that causes you to sort of reevaluate how you're spending shared income or sort of allocating that.
A
Yeah. So this is the continuation of a series of eclipses that's just activating the financial sector of your chart. And we'll see one of them happening here that has to do with shared resources and other people's money becoming more prominent for some reason. And then six months later we'll see one that hits, that focuses more on your personal finances and some major beginnings and major endings when it comes to your own capacity for making an income and building financial resources in your life. So that's our second major transit this year. The third one I wanted to get into next is that the planet Uranus starting in April is going to complete a very long transit through the sign of Taurus, where it's been since 2018 and 2019. And it's going to move into the sign of Gemini for the next seven years, which is a movement from your fourth house of home and living situation and parents into your fifth house of children. Creativity, romance, sex and sexuality, and also hobbies and fun and pleasures. Basically beginning a long term transit, activating that sector of your life.
B
Mm. So Uranus has been in your sector of home, family, parents since 2018. There could have been a lot of changes with regard to either your home life, like where you live or how you structure your home. There could be changes that were happening, kind of like radical changes in your parents lives or something about your ancestry is like a sudden revelation. So that is almost through. There'll be one last little accentuation of that in February of 2026 when you're in A stations for the last time. They're in Taurus and you're fourth house of home and family. And there'll be inner planets that activate that all month. Then it will move into your fifth house of things involving children, sexuality, things you do for fun in general, like hobbies, games, sports. And so there can be changes with regard to if you have children, they can be going through a lot of changes during this time. Sometimes it'll be sudden or erratic. They can be kind of branching out in new ways that you didn't expect their lives to go in that direction. And they're suddenly like, hey, I've just completely changed my career path or things like that if they're older children for example. It can be also a time where you change your attitude surrounding having children if you weren't sure yet. And also just innovating around how you have fun, which could involve technology in certain ways, yeah. So lots of different options.
A
Yeah. And with children, Uranus tends to bring this drive for freedom and rebelliousness. So if you have younger children, they may go through a phase of greater rebelliousness or acting out or doing things more independently. And sometimes that can be kind of surprising or disruptive or upsetting. Other times, like you were saying, it's like if you don't have children or if you're a person that never planned on having children, sometimes having a Uranus transit through the fifth house can bring unexpected children, like coming out of nowhere or something surprising about the topic of children that you hadn't anticipated. The fifth house, though, is also the house of romance and sex and sexuality. And sometimes Uranus transits through the fifth house can be radical changes when it comes to your sexuality or sexual orientation or things like that that you don't anticipate or don't expect expect where there may be. Maybe you've always done things a certain way or had certain interests, but all of a sudden you see your interests and the things that bring you pleasure in life changing and that there's this sense of newness sometimes imported by a new person or a new romantic interest who you hadn't had in your life before, that enlivens it with this greater sense of freedom and innovation and broadens your horizons, but does so in a way that's quite unexpected. So that' of the more positive sides of the transit and then the final side is that that can also come through hobbies and finding new things that bring you joy and pleasure in life that are in terms of playing games or finding modes of self expression or hobbies or things like that that maybe you wouldn't have considered doing before, but that you just suddenly get really into and find that it brings this new level of excitement to your life that makes it more wor.
B
Mm. Definitely. Yeah. And speaking of the romance and sexuality piece, I just wanted to add that Uranus transiting your fifth can have a lot of overlap with Uranus transiting the seventh of partnership, where it can bring new or different people that you're dating, people that were different than you've dated before, have a different background, sometimes age differences, things like that. It's a very experimental type of energy that comes to your romantic and dating life, where you also sometimes feel like you don't have to commit to something for the long haul to be like, well, I don't know if this could work out, but let's try and see.
A
Yeah. And it's also one that's hard for you to anticipate though, because it often is the thing that you either least expect or that you maybe previously couldn't have expected yourself going in that direction, but then all of a sudden you do. So this is a long term transit. We got a preview of it last year starting in July when Uran first dipped into Gemini for a few months, but then it retrograded out. But this year, starting in April, it's going to fully move into Gemini and it's going to stay there until 2032 or 2033. So this is a long term period of changes, but it's really important to start paying attention to some of the ones that happen early in the transit because sometimes they can be signs of longer term changes that will dominate most of the next decade.
B
Mm.
A
All right, so that's that transit. Moving on to the next one. The first half of the year, the planet Jupiter of growth and expansion and optimism is gonna be transiting through the sign of cancer, which is your sixth house of work and health and indicating some positive developments in that sector of your life. But then starting in late June, Jupiter's gonna move into the sign of Leo for the next year and that's into your seventh house of relationships and partnerships for the entire second half of 2026. So that transit kind of divides the year into two halves, like a first half and a second half.
B
Mm, definitely. And Jupiter went into cancer in the middle of 2025. So this is the second half of that transit through your sixth house. So Jupiter transiting your sixth house can bring greater positivity and greater growth and optimism around your work or health spheres. It can be things like you have better relationships with your co workers during this time, or if you need to hire someone to help you with work, whether that's an actual employee or someone that does freelance work for you, or even things like hiring a person that cuts your hair or things like that that can also fall in the sixth house. It's a better time to find good relationships around those types of things, good working relationships. And it can also be a better time to improve your health in some way. So whether that's a time where your health is just better naturally, or it's a time when you find things, whether that's like nutritional things or exercise things or what have you, you find approaches to health that help you improve your health during this time?
A
Yeah, absolutely. That's going to be really good opportunities in the first half of the year. And then in the second half, this is the first transit of 3 actually that keep pointing us in your life towards some major, in this instance, positive changes when it comes to relationships. Because Jupiter going into your seventh house is just traditionally one of those transits that's represented as a year long period in which you're having good fortune in the sector of relationships. So if you don't have any relationships, sometimes this can bring somebody into your life which can be kind of new and exciting and optimistic. It can bring a greater sense of optimism to your life that maybe you hadn't had up until this point. There can also be some positive partnerships which can be non romantic just in terms of working one on one with another person and having that be a successful partnership for some reason.
B
Mm, definitely. Or if you are partnered, this can be a time where there's just greater positivity and warmth in your relationship than at other times, greater expansive feelings. Also times when something more positive than usual is going on with your partner for them. So whether that's like unrelated to you, but that can be something good happening for your partner that then brings greater positivity to your relationship with each other. Yeah, so that's going to be happening for the second half of 2026 and we're going to have a bunch of other things going on in that area of life. So especially in the second half of the year, there's going to be a lot of attention paid towards the area of partnership. Should also say if you do anything that involves client work, that can also be a good time for greater positivity and greater growth in that area.
A
Yeah, for sure. Especially like consulting and things like that. So before we move on from this transit, one last thing that happens just before Jupiter leaves Cancer is that there's this very auspicious Venus Jupiter conjunction that takes place earlier in June in the sign of cancer, which will probably be really positive for things related to work and things related to health for you as a little temporary transit at the very beginning of that and the tail end of Jupiter in Cancer. So we noticed that because we were just researching. We just released our 2026 electional astrology report where we went through and picked out the most fortunate dates in 2026 using the principles of electional astrology.
B
Any important actions you need or want to take in 2026 or important projects you want to start, whether that's around your love life, business, home or what have you, if you use these dates and times that we've selected for you already to start those things, you'll have better odds of success.
A
Yeah. So we've picked out at least 28 auspicious electional charts and dates for doing things next year, which can be used for business, your love life, or any major life events. And we have in each month an overview and forecast of the astrological weather that month and tell you not just the best dates to do things, but also the dates to avoid. Because sometimes electional astrology is just as much about knowing which dates to avoid. And like that, there's a Mercury retrograde starting on this date or what have you than it is on picking out the best dates to do things. So our report comes with a video report, an audio version of the same report, and then also an extensive written report as a PDF. And you can get it right now for $49.95 because we're running a launch sale where it's discounted 23%, but only this month because then in January the price is gonna go up to $65. So get the report now at theastrologypodcast.com 2026report. All right, so let's move into talking about the transits in the second half of 2026 for Aquarius rising, where the next one is. We get into our second eclipse season, which happens in Leo and Pisces in August through early September. And this is a set of eclipses that's taking place in your seventh house of relationships, as well as your second house of money and possessions and personal finances.
B
Right. So this Leo eclipse will be the first one that we experience and that'll be bringing beginnings and endings or new chapters or closing off old chapters in the area of personal partnership or business partnership or other important one on one interactions. So for some people, that can be the beginning of a new relationship that that starts when there's an eclipse in your seventh house of partnership. At other times, there can be an ending of a relationship at that time or an ending of a chapter somehow like an ending of an era in your partnership. For some reason. It can also be an important event going on, an important happening with regard to your partner. Just like the Jupiter transit. I do like that the Jupiter Transit is happening at the same time because it kind of makes makes things lean more positively, especially for day chart people. If you were born with the sun above the ascendant ascendant axis, then this is more likely to be a time of greater positivity and change with regard to relationships.
A
Yeah. So this eclipse happening in August adds on top of the Jupiter transit that already moved in there in June to your seventh house of relationships. But it brings this additional sense of weightiness that it's not just like a positive, optimistic Jupiter transit in your seventh house, but there's something really weighty and important that starts happening in the sphere of relationships and in the sphere of partnership for you at this point. And it's going to be part of an ongoing series and sequence of events that's going to play out over the course of the next year. So that can be, like I said, I always say the keyword of major beginnings and major endings when it comes to relationships. So sometimes it can represent a relationship reaching the end of its life cycle and coming to an end, or other times it can represent a new relationship opening up and starting at this time, that ends up becoming much more significant than you thought it would at first. So that's significant. And then the other eclipse in your second house is filling in the other side of that financial sector that opened up six months earlier when we had the eclipse that was in the 8th House of other people's money and shared resources. Now, all of a sudden, the focus is becoming on your personal finances and some major beginnings and major endings happening there in terms of your ability to make an income.
B
Yeah. And this will be the last one after a lot of activation of that area in your life. For the last few years, we've had Saturn and Neptune there, and we've had a series of eclipses already in Pisces. So this will be the last one, potentially bringing some closure to all of that activation of the last few years or one last important beginning or ending with regard to personal income and finances.
A
Yeah. And that's really good, just because now that Saturn is out of there, Saturn was probably holding things back or causing some greater setbacks and obstacles and difficulties in the financial sector. But now this final eclipse is kind of bringing all of that to completion so that you can start a new chapter when it comes to that area of your life. All right, so that's eclipse season. It wraps up in early September. The next major transit we want to talk about is the Venus retrograde in Scorpio and Libra. That takes place in October and November, which is starting in your 10th house of career. And then it's retrograding back into your ninth house of education, beliefs, and travel.
B
Yeah. So Venus retrogrades in general can bring people back from the past that can be people that you used to work with or somehow connected with your career. It can also be a time where you're revisiting your thoughts about how you're going about your career. So that's retrograding first in your tenth house and then into your ninth house. And the ninth house involves study, education, long distance travel, potentially cross cultural experiences or belief systems. So the Venus retrograde may connect those two areas for some people with Aquarius rising, where for some people you might be re envisioning do I need more education in order to move forward with my career path? For instance, that could easily connect those two areas of life for you at other times or for other people it could be revisioning, like do I want to do more teaching, do I want to do more publishing with regard to my career? That can be another way where you're revisioning those things. And you can also just be reconnecting with helpful people or people from the past in those areas of life.
A
Yeah, it could also be taking an important trip for work, since the 9th house is the place of travel and the 10th place is related to your career. And what's important about this is you can actually get a preview of what this transit's gonna be about and how it's gonna activate that sector of your chart. Because this transit repeats almost exactly every eight years. So if you think back to eight years earlier, in October and November of 2018, that was the last time Venus went retrograde in the same sector of your chart, or eight years before, that would have been October, November of 2010. And sometimes there can be these echoes or repetitions through our life when the same transit hits, hits the same part of our chart. And then all of a sudden we have this career sector and this education, belief, travel sector being activated at the same time.
B
Definitely.
A
Yeah. So that's pretty good. It'll be particularly positive for those with night charts. I think if you have a night chart, that'll probably be experienced as a really positive transit for career and education or travel or beliefs. If you have a day chart, it might not be as significant to write home about, but in each instance it will have this backwards looking orientation of either reflecting on the past or sometimes people from the past coming back into the present. So speaking of retrogrades, that brings us to our last major transit we wanted to talk about for this year, which is that the planet Mars by the last quarter of 2026 is slowing down and getting ready to go retrograde itself in the signs of Leo and Virgo. And this transit doesn't fully get going because Mars doesn't actually station retrograde in Virgo until the beginning of January 2027. But already starting in September through December, Mars is slowing down and it's moving through the two signs that it will go retrograde in. And as a result of that, it's building up and creating this set of circumstances and scenarios that's going to play out over a nine month period in the sectors of your chart, which are the seventh house of relationships and partnership, as well as the eighth house of shared resources. So for some reason it's creating some linkages between those two areas of your life and it's getting ready for a long term sequence of events that will play out from late 2026 into early 2027.
B
So Mars retrograde cycles, rather they always start with you're starting out and you're putting some extra energy or effort into of life or areas of life, as the case may be here with two different houses. But then you're gonna have to rework it going forward a few months into the future. And so looking at the last quarter of 2026, it can kind of give you some clues as to what's going to need to be reworked a little bit or redone in early 2027 in these areas. So for some people, if you have like a business partnership, for instance, this can be a time where you're on the one hand putting more energy or effort into working together, but also it can be a time where greater conflict or problems can come up in that working relationship, especially when it connects to how you share your resources, how you share profits and that sort of thing if that's relevant to you. For other people, it's going to be a personal relationship where there may be, on the one hand, you're putting more energy or effort into this partnership, but there can be greater conflicts that come up at this time compared to other times in your relationship. It can be also a time when there's greater problems coming up for your partner if you are partnered.
A
Yeah, yeah. So this is the third transit already we've seen this year that's happening in the seventh house of relationships. So it's showing that there's just this continual focus on relationships that continues not just in 2026, but goes through into 2027. But with this transit, it kind of shows that everything is not just like, like rainbows and puppy dogs and things like that with the Jupiter Transit that started in June, but instead we've got some tensions that are starting to arise in the sphere of relationships at this time where there could be some strife or some obstacles or some difficulties that start to come up. And it's happening in the relationship sector, but it's also connecting it to the sector of the chart that represents your partner, partner's finances, or other people's money. So you need to exercise additional or extra caution during this time period, especially if you have a day chart, because there could be some disputes with a partner, whether business or romantic, over financial matters at this time. It could also connect things in terms of an inheritance, issues related to mortality, issues related to taxes or debts, like in some instances, finding out that a partner has a bunch of debts from the past that the two of you didn't know about, or something like that. Because since it's a retrograde, sometimes it does have a backwards looking orientation where there's something from the past that comes back up into the present.
B
Right. For sure. And if you do have conflicts or problems that come up more than usual during this time, you do, like you were just saying, want to be kind of careful or exercise some restraint around not adding to the potential conflict, but also knowing that whatever you're working out at this time will take a little bit longer. If you think you've kind of figured out what you need to do, you may need to rework that in early 2027. And so that's what's really nice about knowing about that ahead of time is you can kind of get clues as to what's going to come up going forward.
A
Yeah. And also to exercise restraint, just because sometimes early in a Mars retrograde we can get into a conflict with somebody or have a fight that normally would be just a little fight that happens and then goes away and gets better the next day. But sometimes under retrogrades, a little fire can turn into a whole forest fire if you let things get out of hand. And if you don't think about it and exercise restraint ahead of time. So be careful what you say, especially in partnership and relationships during this time, and especially in business relationships or partnerships as well, because that could be kind of tricky for sure.
B
So for day chart people, you will have this silver lining. Right. Where you do have Jupiter is bringing greater extremes of positivity to that area at the same time. So that'll help out still, even though Mars is potent as well, and Mars will bring greater problems for day chart people, so you have a little bit more of both the extremes of positivity and potential conflict. Whereas for night chart people, if you have these two transits simultaneously, it's a little bit more moderated where you have having some benefits, but not quite as positive as the day chart people in the area of relationships. And then you're mostly just putting a Lot of extra effort or energy into that area with the Mars transit.
A
Yeah, absolutely. That's a great point that it's like the day chart ones. It's like the best transit and one of the most challenging transits happening simultaneously. And they're roughly happening at the same time for almost a year or two, because it's like Jupiter and Mars are there in the seventh house in the second half of 2026. And then both of them are still doing a lot of that through the first half of 2027, where we'll also continue to get eclipses that will move even more firmly into the first house axis of self and the seventh house axis of relationships. So it seems like some major stuff with relationships is on the horizon for aquarius rising in 2026 and 2027. But that's starting to take us into. See, the gravitational pull of us thinking about 2027 is already pulling us towards doing a horoscope for these guys for 2027. So maybe we need to pull ourselves back.
B
Yeah, I think that's it for 2026. We can get to 2027 in about 12 months.
A
Okay, that sounds good. We will check in again then in that case. So that's it then. Aquarius Rising. Those are your major transits for 2026. So again, as we said, for help planning things next year, check out our 2026 electional astrology report, which is on sale just this month for $49.95, but only until January, and then the price is going to jump up to $65.
