Trump-Putin Summit on Ukraine War

Former President Donald Trump has announced a major summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, scheduled for August 15th in Alaska.
The summit's goal is to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine, with Trump hinting at possible territorial swaps.
This would be the first U.S.-hosted summit with a Russian leader since 1988, and the first Trump-Putin face-to-face since 2019.
