Okay. Well, so we pretty much got along. I mean, he's really great. You know, we got along from the first moment she introduced him to the family and everything. And then. And then it was, I guess, probably last summer. My office moved kind of close to his, you know, and we both kind of work a lot. My sister stays at home, and we just once ran into each other and decided to have lunch together. And, you know, a couple times we have some mutual friends. So a couple times we ended up, you know, like, at a bar together, just hanging out. And.

He's awesome, you know, and I think he's really great, but I'm not. I don't think of him as anything else than my sister's husband, you know? I mean, I'm not attracted to him. I'm not like that. I'm this crazy single woman trying to get my claws into her husband, and I don't even think of him that way. And I know he doesn't think of me that way. I mean, he adores her. He talks about her most of the time when we're out.

Good morning. It's. Something very similar happened in our situation. I was living with my sister, and her boyfriend lived out of town. And then they were fiance or whatever, and I was still in school. So when he would come up to visit her, she would have to, like, work on the weekends because she was a lawyer. And she would basically say, hey, go entertain him. And then after a while, she was like. She wasn't as jealous, it sounds like, as her sister, but you could definitely tell, like, she would make snide comments and she'd make remarks, and it turned out like eventually she kind of came to terms that I was more of a benefit for. But it kind of sounds like. I mean, at first I was kind of defending the listener, but it sounds like if she is like to be a good sister, go babysit to the husband and the wife can go. You don't need to have that relationship. Was like, I was supposed to be there. I was kind of like giving him something to do. And she just got jealous because she had to work all the time.

Well, there's one of my friends who will go out of her way to seek out athletes. And she brags about being with athletes. If she goes home with an athlete, it's all about, I slept with this player, and I went to this player. Now he really likes me. But then when it doesn't work out, she's like, why isn't he calling me back? I don't get why he won't return my text or phone calls. We had a great time. I'm like, he's a boy. It's not that he's an like an athlete or an actor. He's a guy. You would not do this for any other guy. You wouldn't care if it was any other guy. So I understand that. And now I have another friend who's doing the exact same thing. We normally go out and have a couple of drinks, but now we have to go out to this certain place because the certain guys will be there. And we wait around for the guys.

And don't you think the guys know if you're always sitting at the bar, like every time they show up, they know what you're up to?

I would think that if you're a celebrity of that magnitude, that playing hard to get is the best way to go. Because they have women throwing themselves at these guys all the time. They have women that are showing up at the same bars all the time, that if you don't show them any interest at all, I bet it would drive them crazy.

Well, yeah, and like, it's just showing like her worth. Like, especially your friend who sleeps with the athletes or whatever. Like she's just saying like, you know, my self worth is that you can take me home. You don't have to treat me really well, guess what? You don't even have to buy me dinner. And you're gonna have sex.

And you know, and my thing is you would never do this for a normal guy. You would not go to a place and sit there and wait for hours and hours for a guy to get off work just to meet up with him and have a drink with all your friends. No, you would go to a different place, you'd have fun, and then you'd go home at the end of the night if you didn't see. Oh well, if you did, great. But now it's just turned into waiting around and waiting around and driving to this place, driving to that place just to meet one guy.

They can figure out where they are or they can go online and, you know, be on their fan pages. Or they can figure out, you know, like, oh, so and so's got a game tonight. So I know they're going to be here, or so and so's, you know, shooting a scene here. I know they're gonna be there. Like, if it's a celebrity or if it's a musician, like, people can follow them easier and become more obsessed.

I know this is gonna make logical sense to people, but. And I know it will never be applied. I understand why people are interested in hooking up and hanging out with celebrities, but at the end of the day, when you get them off of the stage or off of the screen or off of your TV or whatever, everybody's jacked up. It's the same exact problems you have as if you were dating a sales guy. It's all human being. It's the same thing.

I guess just the fact that, I mean, I went to a lot of almost all of his games and, like, he met my whole family, and then we probably dated about six months or eight months, and I don't usually introduce anyone to my family unless it's serious and just. And then ended up finding out that he was still dating his ex from back home who he had been with for about four years, and he just really ended up being someone who I never knew at all. It was actually the worst relationship I ever been in.

You're right. It didn't at all. And it's almost harder. I thought it was actually harder because you can't. I mean, I don't know. I couldn't really trust him, but I did. I was very trustworthy with him and believed almost everything he said. And in the end, I probably wouldn't have done that in most of my past relationships because I was taking the chance and it wasn't. It just wasn't good. But I learned.

And so the first couple times I met him wasn't like a really low key, you know, just me and mutual friends. So he was one person. He was, he was, you know, I called him by his real name. And then we, the first time we ever went anywhere, he went by his stage name, which that's what the world knows him as. And he was the most ridiculous person I've ever met. It was like a completely different person. All of a sudden he was like, I can't even explain it. He was like this other person. And people will be like, oh, my

gosh, he's so awesome.

I'd be like, that's not even who he really is. And then, you know, the first time I ever went to his house, I kind of realized the depths of the situation that he had named all his pets after himself. That is awesome.

We would go out and, I mean, just the people. Because when you're dealing with a music producer, it's a little different in the fact that it's not just women. It is everybody. Because not just everybody wants to date him. People want to know him because they want him to find them. He wants. They want free studio time. They want. You know, they're friends of other artists. They're this person. I mean, he would. He would be out everywhere and people would. People would throw CDs on our table while we were eating dinner and be like, dude, please just listen to it for five minutes. We'll be going to the car. And they would, you know, they would drive up and they'd be like, let me sing for you for three seconds.

Show One thing Melissa was mad about yesterday was that I told her that I feel. I feel old. This is the first year that I really feel like I'm 43 today. And I just. This is the first year that I just feel that age. And I think it has everything to do with these damn crutches and my knee the last couple of weeks.

And the way it happened too, you know, like playing soccer with younger people. And I just feel this year like I'm 43 and I just can't do the things physically that I used to be able to do. And this is the first year I feel it.

I guess the two things I have. 43 is not old, so I really don't think that's old. And it's not just because I'm 40. When I was 30, I didn't think 43 was old. But then the second thing is that you had never played soccer before. So I don't. I also don't think that whether it was a yard full of 20 year olds or 40 year olds playing soccer, I still think you would hurt yourself because it's the third time you had ever been on the soccer field. So I, I do think, you know, I don't think you're old, but I'm just trying to make you feel better. It's not because I'm mad, Jeff.

It's because. Yeah, I just think that. I think if you think 43 is old. It's only going to get worse from here because you know what I mean? Like, I believe in growing old gracefully. There are some parts of aging that I think I'm embracing way better than other parts. Like, there is a certain wisdom that come. I mean, I've had a lot of life lessons, especially the last couple of years. I'm definitely more comfortable in my own skin now that I'm older. I just care generally less about what people think of me and I'm okay with that. I'm handling my relationships now with a lot more honesty. That stuff all comes with age. It's the physical part of it that I'm really having a tough time. It's the not being able to run as long, not being able to drink as much.

I was gonna say, I think we even talked about this over the weekend. There are some people that are 40 and they're an old 40, or they're a 50 and they're an old 50. Or there's people that are a young 40 or a young 50. Like my dad and my mom are in their 60s, but they certainly don't act like old 60s, you know what I mean? Like they're young and active and they go and do. And they travel and nothing holds them back and whatever. And I think it's a state of mind for them rather than, you know, other people I know who are much younger than that, who act so much older than that. You know, it's like they turn 50 and they got one foot in the grave. Like, wait, what a. Wait, wait a second. You know, then I have friends that are 50 that, you know, seemingly look and act 40. So I think it's all a state

of mind really, because it really does go both ways. Like, I know 30 year olds that their mentality are like 55. They stay home, they do nothing, they're not in any activity or anything like that. And it almost feels like they're just slowly watching the clock, waiting for retirement and then waiting to die.

I think it's personality because, yeah, I think that you can. I mean, there are people who are in their 20s that, yeah, just hate life, complain about their ailments, complain, you know, you don't have to be older to complain about your body. You know, there's, I know plenty of people who do.

And at the end of the day, we really only do this just once, you know, so if like you spend all those years complaining about how you're feeling, before you know it, it's over. Somebody told me a couple of months ago they were much older than I was and they said, you know, the days go by slow, but the years go by very fast. So appreciate the days more and more every single day.

Well, and think about the fact if you live to be 80, if you live to be 85, you've, I mean, you've got 40 something more years to go. So if you start, you know, I don't know, if you start looking at life differently now, you've got 40 years that you're going to complain and you don't want to do that.
