Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
The Birch Show Good morning Megan. You are on Q100.
Caller 1
Hey. Hi Bert Show. I was say that I know that y' all don't really necessarily believe mistress number two that she doesn't. That she didn't know Tiger woods was married. Yes, but I didn't know that Tiger woods was married until all this came up out about him having a parent. There's some of us who are just that completely clueless.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Well, I mean, I mean it's different from. Go ahead. I'm sorry.
Caller 2
Well, I was just thinking that, you know, if you don't follow golf and you just kind of know his name because he's a pop icon, that's one thing to be in a relationship with him and not realize for a year he's married is I think completely different.
Caller 1
Oh yeah, I can, I can definitely understand that. But I'm not, I don't know that we all, any of us know quite what their relationship was like. He maybe it was just more of a sexual relationship and they didn't quite get into that conversation. I don't know. I don't know how well she probably doing.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Here's really what I would like to do here. Because if you're in a relationship for a year with somebody and then you claim that you had no idea that they were married, that seems like a really long time. A really long time. I would like to find the person that was in a relationship with somebody, married for the longest amount of time and never had any idea. And our starting point is one year. So was it two years? Was it three years? Because there are so many different variables. How could you not see that? You never saw his place or you never saw her place. You never saw the, you know, the tan line on the wedding ring finger. You never saw any of that. 404-741-Q100 what this might develop into is just great stories on how to. How they hid the relationship. If you're in a relationship for three years and you have no idea that the other person was married, could they be that good at it or did you just at the end of the day turn the other cheek like you didn't want to see it?
Caller 2
It just depends.
Caller/Listener
I think the only way it would be is if it were like a long distance thing. You know, if like maybe he travels for a living and always goes like across the country.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
He's a pilot.
Caller/Listener
Yeah. Or something like that. Like where they only see each other maybe once a month and that kind of thing.
Caller 2
But if I'm in a, if I'm in a relationship with somebody for a year and the only place that we meet is at my place and I never get to see their home, it'd be. I would question that pictures now.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
It could be a friend we're talking about. Like how long did they go without knowing that the other person was married
Caller/Listener
or a certain time to call? Not call.
Caller 2
Yeah.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Hey, Ashley, you're on the voice disguiser. Go ahead.
Caller 3
Hi. Good morning guys.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Welcome to the show. Thank you.
Caller 3
I was saying that my best friend, college friend, dated a man for a little over a year and a half and did not know he was married.
Narrator/Advertiser
Wow.
Caller 3
He was known in the area, quite successful. Not you Know, in the Tiger woods type of realm, but still very successful. They went on trips together. They. She spent times at his house,
Caller 4
and she.
Caller 3
She never knew he was married.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
They lived in the same city.
Caller 3
Same city.
Caller 2
Damn.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
For a year and a half.
Caller 3
Yes. He used to his. Well, the story ended up being that his wife was a nurse who worked the evening shift, but she used to go to his house and they had two master bedrooms, and he lived in one of the master bedrooms and said he used the other one for guests.
Caller/Listener
What?
Caller 2
But I'm just shocked that in his house. Yeah. No pictures, nothing. Like, guys aren't that cute.
Caller 3
No, he had pictures, but he was like, oh, that's my sister. There was never pictures of, like, their wedding or them really, like, together. If there was pictures of him and her, there would be other people in the pictures. I mean, he came and they. We all. We all went on vacation together. Like, me, her, him, and the person I was dating. I mean, I felt so horrible for her. I was absolutely floored.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Year and a half right there. A year and a half. I. Hold on. First, I'm going to tell Laura to hold on because I think she's our closer call. Hey, Laura.
Caller 2
Hey.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Hey, can you hold on for, like, 60 seconds for me? Because I don't think anybody's going to be able to beat the amount of time you're going to tell us.
Caller 4
Can you put me on the voice disguiser, please?
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Yeah, you're already on it. Hold on one second.
Caller 4
Okay, thank you.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
I'll be right back. Yeah, there's no one going to be able to beat that. That amount. We'll work our way up to that. Good morning, Kim. You're on Q100, and you're on the voice disguiser.
Caller 4
Hey, how you doing?
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Okay. How are you?
Caller 4
Fine.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
All right. You were in a relationship with a guy for how long before you found out he was married?
Caller 4
Five years.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Five years. How is that possible?
Caller 4
It's possible.
Caller/Listener
How?
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
You lived in the same. Same city.
Caller 4
Same city. Been to his house, stayed over his house. He stayed over mine. Never knew.
Caller 2
And the wife lived at the house he lived in.
Caller 4
He had to.
Caller 2
I don't see how that's possible.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Yeah, how is that possible? Like, even in the course of your relationship, you'd think that somebody would start talking about the future. We gonna be with each other. And it never developed into that.
Caller 4
We did. I have an engagement ring. I had to get at his job.
Caller 2
What I don't understand is I've been with Katie for four years, and I am. We're involved in each other's families. How. How did you stay with somebody for five years and none of his family members or anybody said anything to you?
Caller 4
I have no idea why. No one did. I have no idea.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
So you met. You met the family and everything, and nobody. You had dinners together and nobody said a word?
Caller 4
Not one word.
Narrator/Advertiser
And there's no female products laying around because, I mean, if she lives there, there's got to be stuff like that she would use in the bathroom.
Caller 4
Not really. He had a sister. Not really. Not really. I mean, it's really weird looking back in hindsight. Start noticing stuff like the decor, the way it was decorated, the way the kitchen was set up.
Caller 2
That's just weird to me.
Caller 4
You start noticing things in hindsight.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
So after five years, how did you finally see it? How did you find. How did you officially find out?
Caller 4
He finally texted me and told me that he was at the hospital and they were having a baby.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Oh, damn. And you're like, who's having a baby?
Caller 4
Exactly. I just can't.
Caller 2
It's so. I cannot believe this, because I can't believe that you would even be around his family and they'd be okay with it, you know? Like, I can't believe you're around his mom. And his mom didn't say, what are you doing here?
Caller 4
I never met his mom. I met his father and his brothers.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
So they all covered for him.
Caller 4
They had to.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Did you ever talk to him after the baby was born? Was there ever, like, officially a breakup?
Caller 4
Yes, when the baby was born.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
And then he called you and you said, I can't believe we just did this for five years. And you didn't tell me anything.
Caller 4
Exactly. And I kept the ring.
Caller/Listener
And you didn't tell the wife?
Caller 4
No.
Caller 2
You didn't.
Caller/Listener
Felt you weren't hurt enough to go to her?
Caller 4
Not to be that vicious. No.
Caller/Listener
Okay.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
That vicious.
Caller 2
He was sleeping around his wife for five years.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
If you guys think that's unbelievable, wait till you hear this. Good morning.
Caller 4
The most unbelievable thing you've ever heard in your life.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
All right, let us sit back and enjoy the ride. Let's go.
Caller 4
Okay, so my husband and I have been together seven years, and that's when I noticed what was going on. And I asked my husband, how long have your. Has your mom been dating? So and so. And he said, she's been dating him. Him since I was 12 years old. Well, my husband is now 36 years old, and she just broke up with him in these, like, earlier, last probably latter part of last year. So we Just watched. And she would. She even had, like a $20,000 engagement ring. I mean, beautiful engagement ring. He won. And diner, he was in my wedding. I mean, the whole nine yards. And she finally, like, clicked. She's like, why don't I ever go meet your family? And he's from. He's Yankee, he's northern. Way Northern. And he was. She was like, why don't I ever meet your family? And he was like, oh. Because he always had some excuse of why he was leaving and all this other stuff. Yeah. Never dawned on her until she broke up with him that, oh, he might be married 20 years. I. I was. I was nosy enough to pull the divorce records. I'm like, there's no divorce record. I'd always see each other on Saturday. He was there by nine, gone by one. Everything.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
I must have missed something in the very beginning of this story.
Caller/Listener
No, she left it out.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Okay, who was this in the very beginning of the story? Who is this we're talking about?
Caller 2
Mother in law.
Caller 4
My mother in law.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Your mother in law.
Caller 2
And her husband was 12 when she started dating this guy. He is now 36. That's how long she was with him. And he was married the whole time. So you're talking about 20 years she was with this man.
Caller/Listener
Almost 25.
Caller 4
Almost married, right?
Caller 1
Yes.
Caller 4
Yes.
Caller/Listener
Wow.
Caller 4
And religiously, like, as religiously as you can get. He would be at her house all night, leave at 1, he'd only call after 6, never saw, and stay inside of her house. I mean, he was always at her
Narrator/Advertiser
house for 20 years.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
25 years. 25 years. And nobody ever picked up on it.
Caller/Listener
She broke up with him.
Caller 4
I did. My husband, I was like, red flag, red flag.
Caller 1
He was like. He was like, it's all because of
Caller 4
money, and he's very wealthy, man. And yeah. I mean, even surgeries that she had, everything. He was there, took care of her. Yeah, it was.
Caller/Listener
That's amazing.
Caller 2
Yeah, I know. I know. People in my life whose parents were products of. They were one. They were a member of one family. And the husband had a whole other wife and children somewhere else in the country.
Caller/Listener
You're kidding.
Caller 2
Where they lived the double life. Children didn't know, wives didn't know.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
I told you that my dad did that in Vegas. I told you that. You know, that one day that he confessed everything to me that one day, told me that he had somebody in Vegas. He had a whole other family in Vegas for a while. Years.
Caller 4
Yeah. I mean, this man doesn't even have a whole other family. He Just has a wife and siblings. But still, how do you find the time? I mean, he even spent Christmas with us. Unreal. It was absolutely unbelievable.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
25 years.
Caller 2
I'm too lazy for that. I don't see how that's a lot of effort and the motivation behind it. I don't understand.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
I was just reading an article about this a couple of months ago that I don't even know that doing that nowadays is even possible because you leave electronic footprints so often now that having an affair for 25 years was very possible back in the day because the dude went to work, then he came home, woman was at the house. You could have this affair and she'd never find out about it. But you can track texts now. You could break into his email, you could check Facebook. There's just no way to do that anymore.
Caller 2
And that's probably a good thing.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
The good thing about electronic media, 25 years.
Caller/Listener
Wow.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
She never knew.
Narrator/Advertiser
Never knew.
Caller/Listener
She never looked.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
Right.
Caller 2
I want to.
Host (likely Bert from 'The Birch Show')
I mean, she didn't want to see it. She didn't want to see it. The bird show.
Caller 4
