All new drinks are now at McDonald's with refreshers like the Strawberry Watermelon refresher and the Mango Pineapple refresher with popping boba. To crafted sodas like the Sprite Berry Blast with berry flavors and cold foam. Who knew ice cold drinks could be so fire six? All new drinks are here now at McDonald's.
Jeff
Refreshers contain caffeine. THE BURT SHOW so I've decided that I need to do something in order because I think you guys know that I fancy myself an entrepreneur. Like I like to do new things and think of new things and stuff, you know, and try new stuff. And I'm convinced and this really has been in my head probably for over a year and I'm convinced I need to do this because this will propel me to like next level stuff. You know, this is gonna.
Melissa
What. What level are you at now? What is the next level? You talking money wise like you're talking live on an island by yourself.
Jeff
Like, Like I'm convinced that if I just did this next thing it would set me on the track to coming up because I. What, What I like are the stories of people who come up with something, you know, like what is it that we like? The snuggy. You know, somebody invents something, they probably had, you know, $20,000 worth of those things manufactured in China for a buck each and then sold each one for 25 bucks. And then all of a sudden, you know, the influence they're selling. Million.
Casino Advertiser
Yeah.
Co-host
Like the reindeer that poops chocolate.
Radio Host
Yes.
Jeff
You know, you're not kidding.
Co-host
We all have owned one because we think it's funny and that person's made a lot of money.
Jeff
And whoever thought of that start.
Melissa's Friend
I've never heard of that.
Melissa
Are you kidding?
Co-host
You've never seen the reindeer that poops chocolate?
Melissa's Friend
No.
Melissa
Oh my God.
Co-host
You're missing out.
Melissa
It is such a hit at Christmas time with my three.
Melissa's Friend
Oh my God. Huge.
Co-host
You haven't lived til you've eaten reindeer chocolate.
Radio Host
Save that.
Jeff
I don't know so I'm convinced that there's something in the world that will take minimal financial investment and, you know, like. And I'll just.
Melissa
It's gonna be a home run.
Jeff
And then it becomes the hundred million dollar idea.
Co-host
Now, is this gonna be something like some simple. Okay, I have no idea. Oh, you don't know what it is.
Jeff
I don't know what it is. But I'm convinced that if I just do this one thing, one thing, then I will be in a situation where it will happen.
Co-host
Okay, here's what I think about all that.
Melissa
Because I think everybody's had that thought at one point or another. Every time I come up with the brilliant idea that's gonna get me out of here.
Jeff
But I wasn't saying it like that.
Co-host
He was taking it. He wouldn't say it.
Jeff
I was trying to be more polite about it.
Melissa
To where I could get so much money. You know, I'll Google it and it's already been done. It feels like everything's done. I was so sure that the Glow in the Dark pacifier years ago. So when your kid wakes up in the middle of the night and they can't find the pacifier and they wake up and wake you up, but if it's glowing and they put it in their mouth, they find it. I'm like, I am on easy street. In fact, I'm gonna call in sick today. Cause I'm never gonna see those people again. Good night. And then I googled it. And there's like 12 different brands out there. And that's happened to me like five different times.
Jeff
But the key is. Well, regardless of what it is. Cause you're talking about like an invention.
Co-host
Yeah.
Jeff
Like this could be anything. It could be a new way of doing something. It could be Facebook. Could be a Facebook type, which I guess is an invention. But it's just something, right?
Melissa's Friend
I have a garlic idea. Something.
Jeff
So will you people leave me alone? This is my million dollar idea, okay? I don't care about your pacifier and your garlic.
Radio Host
What is it? Is it good?
Melissa's Friend
I think so.
Jeff
Can you tell me about it?
McDonald's Advertiser
Uh, okay.
Jeff
So I'm convinced that if I just get an office.
Co-host
Get an office?
Casino Advertiser
Yep.
Co-host
Like, if I rent an office space.
Jeff
If I go to an office building and I rent an office and I buy the furniture and put it in there and put a computer on my desk and a phone and a little bobblehead dollar. And one of those things that go on the desk that are the calendar things. If I go there and I sit
Co-host
in there, it'll come to you.
Jeff
People will come meet with me and they'll be rich.
Melissa's Friend
You know what? That's kind of the theory of if you build it, they will come.
Jeff
Right.
Melissa's Friend
The baseball stadium.
Jeff
Okay.
Melissa's Friend
I think it'll work.
Melissa
But don't you. You have your. You have like.
Co-host
But what are they gonna come meet you? What are they gonna come meet you about? I mean, you got your office and that's cool. And I say, oh, look, there's a
Jeff
glow in the dark pacifiers.
Co-host
There's a young man in there that I've gotta come see. So. Excuse me, sir.
Melissa's Friend
What?
Jeff
Look at this, Melissa. I've been sitting here for minutes and birds like spewing. Oh, you do a pass by the clothes in dark. Jen's like, I've got an idea for a garlic thing. Like, people just come to me for what?
Melissa
But what am I going to come to?
Jeff
Because I have an office. So we have to meet.
Melissa
So if you have an office, that will be the funnel.
Melissa's Friend
Okay.
Jeff
People will want to meet.
Melissa
Really? And if they meet with you, then
Co-host
what's it going to say on the door? Or is it always going to be open and you just are.
Jeff
My door is always open, Melissa.
Melissa's Friend
What if it just says Jeff dollar and associates?
Jeff
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
Melissa's Friend
And they're going to be like, where are the associates?
Melissa
Is this your first great idea that will come out of that office?
Jeff
Well, I would abbreviate it. It'll be je$an ass. So people ask, I was like, where's the associates? I go, it's not associates. Check out this fine ass.
Melissa's Friend
What if you just make up one of those acronyms after your name?
Jeff
Like Esquire. Yeah, like, and just be fancy.
Co-host
No, just put a lot of letters. LCMTF.
Melissa's Friend
Yeah, lollies. Two or three different acronyms certified in mean anything.
Jeff
Jeff$WTF. LOL.
Melissa
If we're looking at this logically. All right, your first idea is so stupid. Why would I come to you for a follow up idea?
Jeff
How do you know it's stupid though? Because it's. I have an office.
Melissa
But you don't.
Jeff
Stupid people don't have offices.
Melissa
Look, I can point. I can right now.
Radio Host
Right now.
Melissa
We could walk down the hall and I could prove to you that that's not right.
Melissa's Friend
But stupid people pay rent for offices they don't need.
Jeff
Yeah, but that rent is an in the hundreds of million. I mean, you can come on my island and visit. Okay, eventually. But I've gone so far as I've called buildings and gotten, like, floor plans and leases and stuff.
Melissa's Friend
Well, good luck to you, Jeff.
Radio Host
Wow.
Jeff
I'm gonna have. I'm gonna have an office.
Melissa's Friend
Okay.
Melissa
And once that happens, and then you're gone?
Jeff
Yes.
Melissa's Friend
Okay.
Jeff
I mean, it'll take a while because I have to have my meetings.
Melissa's Friend
About what? Jeff, I like it.
Melissa
If we find the office space for you, will you quit?
Jeff
Yeah, actually, I would.
Melissa
We're just praying.

Main Cast: Jeff, Melissa, multiple co-hosts and friends
This episode dives into the comedic brainstorming antics of The Bert Show cast—primarily Jeff—as he contemplates the elusive "million-dollar idea" that could change his life. Rather than pitching a well-formed business concept, Jeff hilariously confesses that he believes simply renting an office and acting the part of a successful entrepreneur will somehow lead to fortune. The conversation weaves through stories of quirky inventions, get-rich-quick dreams, and the self-aware absurdity of "fake it till you make it" culture.

Challenge Accepted?
This episode delivers a lighthearted, comedic look at dreaming big—with a wink at the sometimes irrational confidence and magical thinking that fuels entrepreneurial aspirations. The Bert Show cast’s chemistry and friendly roasting make for an episode that is relatable to anyone who’s ever daydreamed about a single moment changing everything, but doesn’t forget to joke about how farfetched those dreams really are. The office may never materialize, but the laughs certainly do.
