I wanted to play this for you because a lot, you know, when the whole Chris Brown Rihanna thing happened, we were wondering what the fallout was going to be career wise for Chris Brown, right? Well now you fast forward to now and it sure looks like it had a tremendous impact on his career. I'm not exactly sure where he posted this yesterday, but this is Chris Brown. This is almost 90 seconds of Chris Brown saying I I need your help, people. No one's buying my stuff anymore. Radio is not helping me out. So if you're a fan, someone's got to buy something.
Chris Brown
Hey, what's up y'? All? CB Well, I ain't never really did this, but right now I'm just calling y', all, man. I need all of my fans help, man. I need all of the fans that I have. I need your help. It's crazy because a lot of radio stations and some are, I'm not going to say zerry, people aren't. But some radio stations aren't playing my records, but they're not. They're not being that supportive and I wouldn't expect them to. But it's on the fans and on everything you guys do and y' all power to bring me back because that's all I need is you guys. And nothing else would do that except for the fans. So I don't know what else to say. Like there's nothing else that I can do. I'm doing everything I need to do and I'm doing me as a person And I'm a better guy. But it's on y', all, because my singing, my music, it's all great. And I do it for y', all, and I do it for the love and everything else, but it won't be possible if I'm not relevant on the radio, and it won't be possible for me to be an artist if I don't have any support from people that give me an artist outlet. I can't be an underground mixtape artist. And so that's what we. That's who we are. I just want all my fans to help me, man. So I love you.

It's almost sad.

What he's saying is. I mean, what I hear him saying is that radio won't support him anymore, so you can't hear the music that he's playing. So he needs support somewhere. He's not getting it. He's begging, right?
Panelist 1
Yeah, that's a begging.
Panelist 2
I don't think he's going to get it.
Panelist 1
I mean, if it was anyone else, that would be sad. But given he put himself in that circumstance, and I know people are gonna

call up, you guys need to move on.

You don't know what happened.

That car. That's all irrelevant. I'm just saying he put himself in that situation where he now has to ask for help. That's sad.
Panelist 3
Well, yeah, I think it's. You know, I told Bertol Ferra that it's. It's not so much. I mean, it has a lot to do, of course, of what he did, but I think anytime you do something wrong, it's how you handle it after you've done it. I think that is what sticks in the mind of people, you know, And I just don't think that after the fact that he. I don't know, did enough to try to make up for it, I guess.
Panelist 2
Well, he needed to disappear for a while, at least take a year off of music and then come back, show that you went to rehab for your problem and your domestic abuse situation, and then come back and then I think people would have been way more supportive.
Chris Brown
I need all of the fans that I have. I need y' all help. It's crazy because some radio stations aren't paying my records. I can't be an underground mixtape artist.

This episode centers on a recent video message from Chris Brown in which he directly appeals to his fans for support, citing a lack of radio play and diminishing career momentum. The Bert Show cast examines the fallout from his highly publicized past, particularly the Rihanna incident, and discusses whether Chris Brown’s plea constitutes “begging for sales” or is an understandable reaction to industry backlash. The hosts also debate whether public perception and his handling of the aftermath have contributed to his prolonged struggle for acceptance.

The episode gives a candid look at how the Bert Show team evaluates Chris Brown’s appeal for support amidst career difficulties stemming from unresolved public distrust and lack of industry backing. The tone remains real and at times empathetic but is largely skeptical; the cast maintains that his current struggles are in many ways the result of his actions and subsequent responses. The discussion invites listeners to consider both the nature of accountability and the complexities of public redemption for controversial celebrities.
