Hi, Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile. Are you looking for a beach read this summer? May I suggest your big wireless bill? It's got suspense, mystery, a slightly flat emotional arc and a shocking twist where you realize you've been overpaying the entire time. Fortunately though, Mint's story is better. Every plan, $15 a month even unlimited. That's it. Happy ending, zero tears. Give it a try@mintmobile.com Switch upfront payment

The Bird show.
Jeff
We have this side bet here on the show that the next time Bobby Cox gets thrown out of the game because this dude, he gets thrown out six, seven times a year and this is his last year and he's 98 and he's old. The butt hurts when you start sitting, you know, on the bench for three hours like that. Yeah, he got hemorrhoid issues and stuff like that at his age. So he don't want, he don't want to stay there for nine innings. So he's been getting kicked out of games now for the last couple of years. So we have a side bet on the show that the next time or each time that Bobby gets booted out of a Braves game that the following morning one of us has to go on the streets in one of these morph suits holding a gold Braves sign. Right now if you don't know what a morph suit is, it's up on our website right now. But think of Spider man without the graphics. It's a skin tight suit.
Willie
Head to toe.
Jeff
Head to toe.
Willie
Covers your head, covers your face, your feet.
Lady Luck
It's like footy pajamas.
Jeff
So Jeff was in funny guy mode
Announcer
yesterday after the show.
Jeff
Yeah, yeah. It is body Spanx, right? I mean it is everything, including your whole head. So Jeff puts this thing on.
Bert
It's not really. Spanx. Cause Spanx
Willie
will help you look better.
Jeff
Yeah.
Bert
Forces everything where it should go. This doesn't. This is just like being dipped in paint. Seriously, is what it is.
Jeff
Jeff was. We were in our post show meeting yesterday, and Jeff was in funny guy mode. And he puts one of the more suits on, and I take a picture of it and I tweet it. And I told him before, oh, I didn't see it.
Willie
No, you didn't see it.
Jeff
I put it on Facebook also, I said before he left the office, I'm like, dude, I could see you, Willie.
Bert
But that's. That wasn't it.
Willie
What was it?
Bert
Just I was. I put it on over my jeans.
Willie
So it was the jeans bump.
Bert
Yeah, it was just like, the jeans.
Willie
Wow. He could see through the jeans and the morph suit, my friend.
Melissa
That's a deceiving drive by sometimes. The jeans.
Jeff
The jeans. The jeans bump.
Melissa
Jeans can help you guys more than it should.
Jeff
Indeed. It's a bait and switch. It's a bait and switch right there.
Bert
It looks weird because Melissa zipped it up for me afterwards, but it's not zipped up, so it looks like I have some sort of weird webbed head.
Willie
Did you see the dude that made you into the Tick? If you've ever saw that show.
Bert
That's funny.
Willie
Yes, that was hilarious.
Bert
But I put it on because I wanted to take it home because I thought it would be funny just to be wearing it in the house. Like, when Jessica came home.
Melissa
That would scare me to death.
Willie
Well, that's a sure way of getting a no answer.
Melissa
Rejection.
Bert
I should have just worn it to bed.
Melissa
Bert, if you wore that around your house today without, like, telling your kids what you were doing, would they be scared to death of you?
Jeff
No, I think they know it was me. And it would be a huge hit, I think around the house, you got
Melissa
to take it all.
Bert
Huge hit. It'll traumatize you.
Willie
Do you feel like you're suffocating in there?
Bert
It's a little claustrophobic.
Willie
Yeah.
Announcer
Yeah.
Bert
Like, it'll traumatize you, too. Around or traumatize a dog if a dog's around, which is fine. But so anyways, I take it home. And obviously you can see if you look at this picture, you see, like, wrinkles and stuff and the jeans, and somebody pointed out, there's my BlackBerry in my pocket. You can see.
Willie
Oh, my God.
Melissa
That's fun.
Bert
Yeah, A lot of details. So when I took it home, I just wore, like, I wear boxer briefs as underwear, so I Just had boxer briefs on and a T shirt. And I put it on, and I think it's funny. And I come around the corner, and Jessica gasps. And then she laughs because she's sort of talking about it. And I think, you know, she made. I think she saw the picture or whatever and she thought it was funny. And then she kind of stepped back and looked at the whole thing and noted how she could see in great detail, even with the boxer briefs on,
Melissa
what she was looking at.
Bert
My little Jeffrey. Hey, Jeffrey.
Jeff
Junk.
Willie
Jeffrey Junk.
Bert
And so, like, I laughed, thinking that it would just be kind of like kamilto. Ish. That's the first word, you know, like. And then so I walked into the bathroom and I took the hood off to look at it, and, like, it was there.
Melissa
It's, like, very revealing.
Jeff
I mean, it's tight.
Bert
Like, what's going on?
Melissa
But you think it'll be as tight on the girl parts.
Bert
Well, I sent an email out, and this could be the most bizarre email I've ever had to send. This made me laugh yesterday, but I sent an email.
Melissa
I was cracking up when I got
Bert
this, and I couldn't. I really couldn't go into much explanation, but I wonder if I pull up the exact email that basically said, hey, everybody, the subject line was your private parts. And then the rest of the year.
Willie
Which is not an odd email to get from.
Jeff
Not from us.
Bert
Sure.
Melissa
I actually saw the subject line and thought, oh, dear God, please make sure this was intended for me. I thought, like, did he mean to send this to Jessica? Because we both are je. And sometimes I get BlackBerry messages that Jeff intends to send to his wife. I'm like, uh, oh, do I open it? Do I open it?
Bert
And because we have to be out on the street within, you know, within one show of Bobby getting bounced from the game, I suggested that we all just throw into our car a pair of shorts. I wrote, you're gonna wanna have some shorts handy should you be the loser of a morph suit. Bet that fabric clings very, very tightly. And unless you want all of Atlanta to know you the way your mom knows you. Yeah, you're gonna wanna have some shorts handy to slide on.
Jeff
Yeah, I'm throwing my cup into. I'm not kidding, but I'm in that morph suit. It's going to be disproportional. I will tell you that right now.
Melissa
That's great.
Jeff
All right, so watch Bobby this week, because I'm telling you, they've lost seven in a row, and this is very typical. For a manager when your team is not doing well, what they'll do is they'll get booted out of a game just to sort of rally their troops behind them, the players, to get them fired up. And Bobby, they've lost seven in a row. He don't want to be there because he's old. This is the week he's getting booted out.
Willie
Now, do we know if he gets kicked out more so at Turner Field or away or.
Jeff
I don't know, the homer.
Ryan Reynolds
Away.
Bert
I don't think it.
Jeff
I mean, it doesn't matter.
Bert
They're hitting the worst slide they've had in a few years. He's older. It's his last season.
Willie
It could be anywhere.
Jeff
It could be any day now. And it could be any day.

Episode Date: July 24, 2026
This episode dives into the hilariously awkward aftermath of a standing Bert Show side bet involving Braves manager Bobby Cox getting thrown out of a game. The loser must don a full-body morph suit and hit the streets holding a gold Braves sign. The crew recounts Jeff's overzealous embrace of the morph suit, sharing embarrassing stories and observations about just how revealing this novelty outfit can be—both in public and at home. Laughter and self-deprecating humor abound as the cast shares their genuine (and graphic!) experiences, riffing on wardrobe mishaps, workplace pranks, and the very real perils of skin-tight attire.
A classic Bert Show segment, this episode is a comedic romp through workplace pranks, bets gone awkwardly public, and very revealing fashion regrets. The cast’s quick wit, open-book honesty, and group chemistry make even the most cringe-worthy revelations thoroughly entertaining. Perfect for listeners craving authentic laughs and camaraderie.
