Hey Bible readers, I'm Ms. Emily and this is the Bible recap for giants. Today's Bible verse Psalm 118:20 says these gates lead to the presence of the Lord and the Godly enter there. God does amazing things that reveal his glory greatness. When we remember who God is and what he's done, we will be filled with delight and awe. And when we're filled with delight and awe, we will live God's way. He changes our hearts to make us more like Him. God is the ultimate authority over all people and things. But he doesn't leave us here on earth to fend for ourselves. He bends down to be close to us, to lift us up and to help us. He does what pleases him, which is also what is best for his kids. God loves us with a great, faithful, never changing love. There is no way we could ever repay God for how much he loves us and for everything he has done for us. But like the Psalms teach us, the proper response to his goodness is to over flow with gratitude and praise. Today's Baja God made a way for us to get to Him. Jesus. Our verse today 1:1820 talks about the gates that lead to the presence of the lord. When Psalm 118 was written, the gates meant the gates of Jerusalem, but God meant them as the gates of Jerusalem. And something more. In John 10:9 Jesus calls Himself the gate to salvation. Jesus is the only way we get to God. Because of him, we get to be in the presence of the King forever. And he's where the joy is.
