Today's Bible verb Psalm 119:105 says you, word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible, and it might have been written by Ezra, a priest and a scribe that we'll meet soon. Whoever the mystery writer was, he loves God's word and wants to love it even more. The entire poem is an acrostic in which each section starts with the next letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. The psalmist took such care in writing this beautiful poem. The writer points out seven important things about who God righteous, trustworthy, truthful, faithful, unchangeable, eternal, and light. These are called attributes, which is a word to remember.
B
Word to remember. An attribute is a characteristic or quality of someone's character.

God also changes our hearts, and the psalmist gives us some prayers to pray when our hearts need changing. Open my eyes to see in verse 18, help me understand in verse 27 and teach me in verse 33. And the writer helps us remember that hard times and struggles can bring us closer to God. Loving God doesn't mean that we won't feel hurt or pain, but it does mean we have a safe person who will be with us in our hurt and pain. God gave us His Word. It's a lamp to guide us, one that gives just enough light to take our next step. And it's a light to lead us, lighting everything as far as we can see. God's Word is big enough to light up the entire world, and it's small enough to show us the next step in our lives. It's infinite and it's personal, and God gave it to us. He's where the joy is.
