Adam was the first man and Noah was from Adam's family line. Noah had a son named Shem. And a man in Shem's family line is named Abram.

God had a special relationship with this family.

And God tells Abram that he's going to bless him. So that Abram may be a blessing.

Abram and his wife Sarai moved to a place called Egypt. But they still face all kinds of problems.

Sarai is kidnapped, the animals run out.

Of food, there's a war, and Abram's.

Nephew Lot is also kidnapped.
Narrator
But then God makes Abram a promise. He's going to have a son. Abram believes God and God is kind.

To give him a sign that his belief is right today by God. God always keeps his promises, even when.
