Hey Bible readers, I'm Ms. Emily and this is the Bible recap for kids. Today's Bible verse Proverbs chapter 27, verse 1 says don't brag about tomorrow since you don't know what the day will bring. The wisdom from today's reading keeps pointing us back to to trust in God. Instead of putting our trust in our own wisdom or plans for the future, we can put our trust in the One who holds our future. And instead of being afraid when hard times come, we can ask God for His strength and guidance. We need Him. He may give us more than we can handle, but but he'll never give us more than he can handle. Chapter 28 teaches us that trusting God shapes the way we view our sin. When we trust God and grow in wisdom, we confess our sins and turn away from them. The Holy Spirit will make us aware of our sins. Our job is to confess and turn today by God. God is outside of time and he knows the future. Of course he knows the future. He's already there. It's wise to think about and make plans for your future, but don't get too caught up in those plans. We don't know what will happen in our future, but God does. That truth can bring us joy because he's where the joy is. We know that lots of our Bible readers love to use the Bible app because our YouTube videos are embedded right there within the reading plan. And now we're excited that TBR Kids is also in the Bible app. To find our kids plan on the Bible app, just search for the Bible Recap kids or click the link in the show. Not.
