Today's Bible verse 2 Chronicles 18:33 says that an Aramean soldier randomly shot an arrow at the Israelite troops and hit the King of Israel between the joints of his armor. Northern Israel's Ahab and southern Judah's Jehoshaphat team up to recapture Ramoth Gilead, a city taken by Syria. Jehoshaphat is wise and asks that they seek God's counsel before they make their plan. So ahab brings in 400 prophets, but it's likely that they're false prophets. Jehoshaphat wants another opinion. They ask the prophet Micaiah, who wicked King Ahab does not like one bit. That's because Ahab knows that Micaiah won't lie to him and tell him what he wants to hear. So when Micaiah tells the king the truth, Ahab has Micaiah thrown in jail. When battle begins, Ahab dresses in a disguise but tells Jehoshaphat to wear his royal robes so that the enemy will aim for Jehoshaphat. But of course, nothing can stop God's plan. Ahab is killed and his son Ahaziah takes the throne. God will always accomplish his plan, even though the man who shot the arrow that killed Ahab probably didn't mean to hit him. God was in control of where everyone stood, how Ahab's disguise and armor were worn when the man took his shot, and where the arrow went. Nothing happens outside of God's control and he's always working to accomplish his plan.

He's where the joy is. If you love TBR kids, we need your help spreading the word. One of the best ways you can tell people about TBR is by wearing tbr. When you're wearing a TBR shirt, you're letting everyone around you know how much you love the Bible. Plus plus it's always good for me to wear something that reminds me that he's where the joy is.
