Isaiah, the prophet who speaks messages from God, is writing to southern Judah, mostly telling them about what's been happening in northern Israel. God is dealing with their sins, and they've been attacked by the Assyrian army. Isaiah warns southern Judah that they should repent of their own sins or the same thing will happen to them.
