Hey, Bible readers, I'm Ms. Emily and this is the Bible recap for kids. Today's Bible verse Isaiah, chapter 26, verse 12 says, Lord, you will grant us peace. All we have accomplished is really from you. Today we read the last batch of judgment for foreign nations. Today, Tyre and Sidon are centers for trade, so they are rich and powerful cities. Tyre is destroyed, but then rebuilt. And even though it seems like they don't turn fully to God, he still uses their businesses to bless his people. The judgment of the whole earth is a hard passage to read. Creation will be undone. And since God promised he'd never flood the whole earth again, the destruction. Destruction will probably be caused by something like an earthquake or a fire. When will this happen? On the coming day of the Lord. But there is hope for God's people who trust that he's sovereign and good. This passage is serious, but not scary. God can be trusted with our futures. He restored the earth after the flood and he'll restore it again. His people will live and feast with him in the new earth. God accomplishes everything we need. God the Father created us, God the Son paid the price for our sins, and God the Spirit makes us able to fulfill God's specific plans for our lives.
