Yes, it will bring quietness and confidence forever. We just learned that a woe is a great trouble or a problem. And today we finished reading about the six woes that are coming to Israel. In the fourth woe, Isaiah reminds the stubborn people of Judah that relying on Egypt won't save them. Only God can save them. And his salvation is better than a single military victory. In the fifth woe, the Isaiah specifically warns women who rely on their wealth and status because of what they have. They think they're safe and secure, but within a year, trouble is coming. But Isaiah doesn't give a warning without hope. He tells them God's spirit will be poured out all over the land and people's hearts will return to Him.
