And through their line, he would send the Messiah. Do you remember that one? That is a beautiful word to remember. Word to remember. Messiah means Savior. It's from a Hebrew word meaning chosen or anointed one. Through the Messiah, that's Jesus, all nations on earth will be blessed. And through Jesus the Messiah, God's love will reach those who hate him. And he will turn enemies into family. But that's someday. And right now in our story, Israel God's family feels forgotten. God reminds them that he hasn't forgotten his people. He's written their name on the palm of his hand. We read some beautiful prophecies about Jesus today. He will help those who are hurting, speak kindly to those who are ignored and suffer greatly for our sins today, by God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit are three persons of equal value in the Trinity.
