I will praise the Lord for all he has done. I will rejoice in his great goodness to Israel, which He has granted according to his mercy and and love. Isaiah writes down the people's confession of sin. They know they can't fix what's broken in themselves, but God does it for them. The thing that they can't do for themselves. God gives them everything he requires of them, just like he does for us. In the future glory of Israel, people from all nations will come to bless God and to bless Zion. And that's the a word to remember. Word to remember. Zion is a Hebrew name for Jerusalem. This picture points forward to Jesus first coming. And it points even further to the day when he'll come again. As a part of God's glorious plan of redemption, he's given Israel beauty and majesty great greater than their own.
