The Levites are responsible for taking care of the tabernacle, but they need the help and support of the other tribes. So each tribe brings valuable gifts to show their support. These gifts not only help the Levites, but they help everyone. When people give their gifts, it helps them feel connected to the tabernacle and to all the people who God told to take care of it. He uses the gifts of one to bless all. God speaks to us. After 12 days of dedication, Moses goes into the tabernacle and God speaks to him.
