Hey, Bible readers, I'm Ms. Emily, and this is the Bible recap for Lev. Today's Bible verse. In Numbers 8, Verse 16, God says, of all the people of Israel, the

This is so kind and welcoming. They celebrate the Passover, and then a new season begins for the Israelites. They start moving through the wilderness toward Canaan. Now, Canaan is the land God promised them. Way back in Genesis, a person could walk from Egypt to canaan in about 11 days. But so far, God hasn't taken them there. Remember, he's shown himself as a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire. And they have followed where he's led, and they've waited where he stayed. God teaches two trumpet players some tunes that mean different things, like praising God and asking him for help. And then, after almost a year in the wilderness, they pack up, line up, and start walking. God makes us holy.
