of a poisonous snake and attach it to a pole. All who are bitten will live if they simply look at it. The Israelites are getting closer to the promised land and they need more food and water. By this point they should know that all they have to do is ask God to provide for them because they've seen him do it over and over again. But they don't ask. They complain about God and about Moses. Of course God hears them so he sends poisonous snakes that will kill them. More of them die and won't get to go to the promised land. Just like God told them. When the people see what's happening, they confess their sins and repent. Moses prays for them. God tells Moses to make a fake snake and put it on a pole. Anyone who has been bitten can simply look at the snake and they will live. They need to pass through two other kings lands next. But those kings send men to attack them. God gives Israel the victory and a lot of land. Another king hears about this and is scared. So he hires a man named Balaam to put a spell on the Israelites. But God's plan to bless his people will not be stopped. And God even makes Balaam's donkey talk to make sure every everyone knows that God is in charge. Wow. Today Baja, God saves. When the people who looked at the snake lived. The snake didn't save them, God did. They were given longer life on earth because of their faith to do what God said. He's where life is and he's where the joy is.
