After Moses makes a list of all of the places they camped over the last 40 years, he gets more directions from God. God tells Moses they have to drive out all of the people in Canaan, the land that God has promised to the Israelites. They also have to destroy the altars and every item used to worship false gods. Narrator (1:18)
God is the King of Kings, Lord of lords and God of gods. He knows that there are false gods that people worship, but he's not threatened by them. Those gods are limited, but God is limitless. He is all powerful and he defeats his enemies, including those false gods. By defeating his enemies, he's keeping his people safe. He protects his kids and he's where the joy is.
