Hey, Bible readers, I'm Ms. Emily, and this is the Bible recap for kids. Today's Bible verse Deuteronomy, chapter 2, verse 7 says, for the Lord your God has blessed you in everything you have done. He has watched your every step through this great wilderness. During these 40 years, the Lord your God has been with you, and you have lacked the nothing. Deuteronomy may seem like a review of what you've already read, and that's good. If you're reading something and you say, wait a minute, I've already read this, you're right. In different books in the Bible, some of the same stories are told in different ways. So if that happens, stop to thank God for giving you such a strong memory and ask him to teach you something new, too. Moses knows the time is coming close for him to die because God told him. For 40 years, he has taught the Israelites, fought for them, prayed for them, walked with them, and loved them.
