Hey Bible readers, I'm Ms. Emily and this is the Bible recap for kids. Today's Bible verse Deuteronomy, chapter 31, verse 6 says so be strong and courageous.
B
Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you. Moses tells the people the bad news and the good news. The bad news is that they're going to break God's covenant. And God knows this, Moses knows this and the people know this. The good news is that when they repent and turn back to God, he won't abandon them. He'll welcome them and restore their blessings. Moses wants the people to want God, not just what God gives them. Moses isn't going to get the blessing of the Promised Land. God's already told him this. But he's gotten the blessing of knowing God, which matters even more. Moses wants the people to know God too. Moses tells the people not to be afraid, but to remember that God is near. Then Moses calls Joshua over and God makes him the next leader of the Israelites and tells Joshua that God will be with him. God already knows all the times we're going to ignore his laws and he still loves us. He knows every time that we will walk away from him and he still loves us. He knows that we will forget him, doubt him, and even blame Him. And he still loves us. No one else loves like God loves. He's where the love is and he's where the joy is.

In today’s episode, Miss Emily explores Deuteronomy chapters 30 and 31, guiding young listeners through Moses’s message to the Israelites. The main theme centers on the faithfulness of God, the inevitability of human mistakes, and the encouragement to trust God’s love even when we go astray. Miss Emily emphasizes that knowing God is even better than receiving His blessings, and reassures listeners that God never abandons those who return to Him.
