B
word to remember.
C
Chronological order is time Ordo. We'll read through the Bible in chronological order or the order in which the events happen.
A
Because we read in chronological order, we spent the last seven days in a few different books. We read some more Psalms of Praise. We saw David die for the second time in our reading. And we watched Solomon take over as Israel's king. We followed a young couple through their courtship and their wedding. And we learned a little bit of wisdom from the first few chapters of Proverbs. Finally, we saw the good gifts God gives. Wisdom, love, and most of all, Himself. We finished one book of the Bible in a single day. Let's hear the
B
big picture. Song of Solomon.
A
Song of Solomon or Song of Songs, is a love story between a young shepherd and shepherdess. It reminds us that God's design for everything, including love and marriage, brings joy. In the last seven days, we learned one new
B
word. Remember,
D
an attribute is a characteristic or quality of someone's character.
A
And let's wrap up with an application. God gives good gifts like knowledge and wisdom and love. Take a minute with me to think of three gifts that God has given you. Do you have your three gifts in mind before you go on to the next part of your day? Thank God for those good gifts that he has given you.
B
He's where the joy is.
