2019 was a great year for Yelpers! They were mad, frustrated, and hurt because they didn't get the attention that they deserved. I review the reviews and give Yelpers their just rewards. The time has come for the servers and bartenders to take back the power! Down with Yelp and the cowardliness it represents!

I'm Joey Rockenstein, a.k.a. "Bitter Party of 1," the leader of the server revolution and the host of The Bitter Bistro. I've worked in the service industry for 15 years and I know one thing is for certain... you never know what to expect when you work in the service industry. This show is "Inside the Actor's Studio," but for servers and bartenders. I am taking the the power away from customers, and putting it back where it belongs, with the FOH staff. It doesn't get any BITTER than this! On this episode, I welcome Danielle aka Beer Slinger. My first out-of-country guest. All the way from Toronto, and full of great, funny stories about the service industry. We discuss wobbly tables, what it's like to work FOH and BOH, and the ladies who wear those hats. Check out her Twitter @beer_slinger. And mine, @thebitterbistro, facebook.com/thebitterbistro, and blog www.thebitterbistro.com

He talks about splitting checks, going from corporate 9 to 5 to the service industry, and hooking up with co-workers. Some bartenders have flair, but RuthAnn blows fireballs at those assholes. We discuss her bartending journey through NYC, her appearance on David Letterman, and how to properly bitch slap a customer. If you think some of the customer stories you've heard on previous episodes have been nuts, listen to what Maite has to say. Un-frickin-believable! AND she and her co-workers hit the server jackpot when they got a visit from the #tipsforjesus disciples. And if you think her voice might sound familiar, you've probably seen her on TV and Film.
