Tom Griswold
We have a tradition of not paying attention. Don't start now. That's true.
Pat Godwin
God knows you're right you're right. Hi, it's the Bob and Tom show. Boy, feels like a Monday, doesn't it? There's Christy Lee at the Silac Insurance news desk.
Christy Lee
Hello, Chick.
Pat Godwin
There's Pat Godwin.
Chick McGee
Hey, Chick.
Pat Godwin
Hello, Jeff Osk.
Jeff Oskay
Hi, buddy.
Pat Godwin
Buddy, huh?
Jeff Oskay
Okay. I'm sorry, sir.
Pat Godwin
I did a thing about it. Buddy. There's Tom Griswold.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Hi.
Pat Godwin
Hi, Tom.
Tom Griswold
Hey, how's it going? I guess getting organized over here.
Pat Godwin
Oh, it's going.
Tom Griswold
It's good to be. Glad I made him. No, I'm glad to be. No, I'm glad to be here. That's what I meant to say. Thank you. Thank you very much. Well, what a weekend. Hope you had a great weekend too. A lot of highlights for me.
Christy Lee
Yeah, go.
Tom Griswold
Let's see. Peter Frampton.
Christy Lee
Oh, so did I. That was fun.
Pat Godwin
Was it good? Was it? Of course it was good. You guys didn't run into each other, didn't you? How would that have gone, Tom? If you guys would have seen me.
Christy Lee
You wouldn't have seen me.
Tom Griswold
Would have been fine. Yeah. I had a chance after the show to talk with Peter. And I've got to tell you, if there's anybody nicer out there, I don't know who it is.
Christy Lee
I agree.
Tom Griswold
And what I mean, obviously the guy's a super talented. And for those of you that are not familiar with. Quickly. He's dealing with a particular. I guess it's technically a muscular disease. Muscular disorder.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
So he plays the whole show sitting down. He can play great and he's. His singing is amazing. His band is unbelievable. If you get a chance he. This. He. He did his final tour but now that he's feeling a little bit better, he's back out there. You've got to go see the guy.
Christy Lee
Yep.
Tom Griswold
Just amazing. And there's a little trick. Fun thing they do at the end. I'm just saying that you.
Christy Lee
You give away.
Tom Griswold
I'm not going to give it away.
Pat Godwin
Watch this. It's at the end of the concert.
Tom Griswold
Near the end.
Pat Godwin
Near the end. Is it a. Is it a song or. I know like an elephant comes out.
Tom Griswold
It's a. It's a fun thing. It's a fun thing for big fans.
Pat Godwin
This is our audience participation.
Tom Griswold
Well, he did that. That happens. Anyway, just a little something for the true fans.
Pat Godwin
Did you hear when he finally got his guitar back? You know that's. You know that story about when the guitar was. They thought it would burned up in an air airplane.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Many, many years ago.
Pat Godwin
His.
Tom Griswold
The famous guitar from the COVID Of Frampton Comes Alive. They thought it was gone. And it ended up through various means returning to him.
Pat Godwin
So he found it and. But he didn't tell anybody in the band. So there were out touring and he got the guitar back and he went up on stage and he goes. I Fellas, we're gonna. I need to. Let's run through. Do you feel? One more time. And he turned his back to the band and he went. And every one of them knew that you found the guitar.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
They knew exactly which guitar was. And they were. It was a cool moment.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. But it's just. He was just. He's such a nice guy. We got talking afterwards and his dog, Bigsby. Bigsby got the diploma. He's got a service dog. Bigsby is a golden doodle. Yeah. Kind of black standard big one. Cute dog. So he and I talking dogs backstage. So. But he's doing.
Pat Godwin
So this thing at the end of the concert. Is it like at. At the. Do you feel like we do something to do with that or Talk box?
Tom Griswold
No, I'm not going to give it away. There's a nice surprise for Humble Pie fans.
Christy Lee
Right?
Tom Griswold
I'll put it that way. Oh.
Pat Godwin
Oh, no. I saw the set list on. Is that. It's a special song.
Tom Griswold
It's not the song.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's.
Tom Griswold
There's a. There's a little something he does.
Pat Godwin
Does somebody come out and say, no, no, no, no.
Tom Griswold
Don't. Don't go any farther.
Pat Godwin
We go home on Monday.
Tom Griswold
No, don't come home. Don't ruin it. I'm not saying what's saying what it is.
Pat Godwin
I'm not ruining it.
Tom Griswold
No, you are. By asking when I say. I'm not going to tell you what it is. Don't start asking me.
Chick McGee
You're going to slip.
Christy Lee
You shouldn't have brought it up.
Tom Griswold
I want to. Yeah.
Chick McGee
It's your fault.
Christy Lee
You knew he would do that.
Tom Griswold
Just go see Peter France.
Pat Godwin
It's our thing, man.
Tom Griswold
It just.
Pat Godwin
People request this.
Tom Griswold
And I walked up to Peter and I went, 11. 11. In 11 days you turn 75. So that's.
Christy Lee
Thanks for reminding him of that. I'm sure he was happy.
Tom Griswold
Happy birthday.
Christy Lee
It's the same as your day.
Pat Godwin
Did you say that to him?
Tom Griswold
11?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Hey, you know what? You are the worst.
Chick McGee
No one wants to hear that.
Pat Godwin
The absolute worst.
Christy Lee
I'm so glad I did not do the meet and greet this time because.
Tom Griswold
It was just me and Peter.
Pat Godwin
11 days.
Chick McGee
Hey.
Tom Griswold
11 days in a congratulatory manner.
Chick McGee
Five years, tops. You got five years.
Pat Godwin
The clock Is ticking.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that's what I said. What did I mention? Did I mention what a great show it was?
Pat Godwin
Have your affairs in order.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Pat Godwin
And the big surprise? The video of a humble pie right at the end.
Tom Griswold
No, there's video throughout the show.
Pat Godwin
That sounds amazing.
Tom Griswold
Could you turn off your dick a level to maybe down to one?
Pat Godwin
No, I'm. I'm just. I'm just curious. I'm a curious fellow.
Chick McGee
Why'd you turn up to 11?
Tom Griswold
Okay, where were we?
Pat Godwin
11 days.
Tom Griswold
On a different note, did you. Did you watch any golf, Christy?
Christy Lee
I did. I watched some of the Masters.
Chick McGee
That was exciting.
Christy Lee
Man, What a finish, huh?
Chick McGee
Yeah, it was great.
Pat Godwin
I have. I have new respect. Well, any respect for Jim Nance? You know, we. We've been fighting.
Christy Lee
Sure.
Pat Godwin
Nance and I, but he's perfect for golf. We need a voice that could be mistaken for no one talking.
Tom Griswold
The thing about it is, you would think they were doing the play by play for the return of Jesus.
Pat Godwin
That's right.
Tom Griswold
The Masters takes itself so seriously that they are so utterly humorless. That's kind of cool, though. But I got a big kick out of listening for all the words the chick taught us.
Christy Lee
Right.
Tom Griswold
They can't say sand trap. They have to say bunker. It's not in the rough. It's in the second cut.
Christy Lee
A lot of bunker shots.
Pat Godwin
It's not at the country club. They can't say country club. Augusta National Golf course.
Tom Griswold
But these. The sort of religiosity of McElroy is because, you know, that he wants. When he missed. There's one time toward the end, McElroy was way ahead and then he wasn't, then he was, then he wasn't. But there's one putt that if somebody had farted, it would have dropped in. It was just right. You just, you know that. You know that Nance wants to go, well, that's one mother.
Pat Godwin
Holy. How did he miss that?
Christy Lee
Yeah. And then Justin Rose, you were really. You're like, I love those guys.
Tom Griswold
Justin Rose.
Christy Lee
I love both of those guys. It was hard to.
Tom Griswold
I know Justin's an Englishman and of.
Christy Lee
Course, his wife's an ex gymnast, too.
Tom Griswold
And.
Pat Godwin
And Bryson DeChambeau is like a bodybuilder in his off time, I guess, or something. I'm making this up.
Tom Griswold
But McElroy looks pretty. He's got a big chest. For those of you that don't pay attention to golf, what's interesting is he hadn't won a major, what, since 2014. But by winning this, he's got the grand Slam.
Pat Godwin
The career Grand Islam. That's the US Open, the PGA Championship, the British Open, the Masters.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Wow.
Pat Godwin
That's the four majors.
Christy Lee
I was happy.
Pat Godwin
You know, one guy did it all. Four did the Grand Slam. Won all four in the same year.
Christy Lee
What?
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
Who was that?
Pat Godwin
Bobby Jones.
Tom Griswold
Wow.
Pat Godwin
Some call him a Roberts.
Christy Lee
I'll be darn. I didn't.
Pat Godwin
I don't know why he didn't. I don't know why he.
Tom Griswold
Do you enjoy the fact that the star of Mad Men is doing all those commercials for Mercedes, John Ham?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, he's all right.
Tom Griswold
Oh, he's the best. He's the best. Now, did you have a good weekend? Christy, you went to see Peter Franth and I didn't see you there.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I did. I went.
Pat Godwin
Did you know that he was there? When? Before you went to the concert?
Christy Lee
I did not. He said he was maybe gonna go, but.
Tom Griswold
Well, comically.
Pat Godwin
Did you get. You. You had to get lost or had car trouble or something?
Tom Griswold
No, no. Comically enough. It's hard to explain, but the way that that theater is set up, Right. When you look at the map to buy your tickets, I like to be preferably about 15, 20 rows back, because if you're too close, the sound is usually hung from the ceiling and you don't get it.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Well, comically, I, I, I bought two sets of tickets for some friends. And fortunately, Kelly sat with the other lady, so I sat with my friend because we ended up in the front row, which we didn't know, and we were in the extreme right. And there were two giant lights in the floor, so all I could really see was Peter's little head bopping.
Christy Lee
You were in the front row on the floor? Yeah, Well, I was on the opposite side. I was stage right, so I was on the left side of the OR stick.
Chick McGee
It looked like you were up right on stage.
Jeff Oskay
Your tickets look like.
Christy Lee
I was, like, right on stage, but.
Tom Griswold
My feet, my feet were up against the stage, so I. My legs were kind of crazy.
Christy Lee
I was sitting right behind Robbie, the keyboard player, so I heard a lot of keyboard because his monitor was literally, like, almost right in front of me.
Tom Griswold
What?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
What?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
What?
Tom Griswold
Oh, that's from being sitting next to the base for two and a half hours.
Christy Lee
But it was a wonderful show.
Tom Griswold
I have pictures of his little Peter's little head bobbing up and down.
Pat Godwin
I would like to see those.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Chick McGee
And you never go backstage.
Pat Godwin
I just sat.
Tom Griswold
I never go back.
Christy Lee
I, I opted not to this time.
Tom Griswold
His.
Christy Lee
I didn't want to bother Him.
Pat Godwin
You wanted to go back and tell him he only had 11 more days until he turned 75.
Tom Griswold
Peter and I kind of have a history of backstage conversations.
Pat Godwin
I bet you do. And it's not just Peter.
Tom Griswold
He was. Well, he was on the show one time, and he couldn't. We were trying. We were talking about the fact that he had won a Grammy for his great instrumental album as the great black. Black Hole song, which he just destroys. He couldn't remember who he'd lost to that year when he. When he was nominated for Frampton Comes Alive.
Pat Godwin
Now you're reminding him of his Grammy losses. That's exactly what's happening. No, when you're not reminding him he's going to be 75. Remember that time you lost that guy?
Kostaki Economopoulos
No, that's not what happened.
Pat Godwin
Wasn't that hilarious? He.
Tom Griswold
He. This was years ago. He insisted I come back because he. He came running out and he goes. It was so and so. He remembered who it was, and it was. It's kind of a running gag. In any event, go see this.
Christy Lee
I had the wonderful opportunity of seeing him and seeing him backstage quite a few times. That this. This time I was like, I'm not even gonna bother the poor man.
Tom Griswold
Right?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Chick McGee
We had a chance to see Clapton backstage, and Tom said, no, no, I don't want to bother.
Tom Griswold
I never go backstage anyway. Anyway, go see. That's a great show now.
Christy Lee
It is a great show.
Tom Griswold
Let's say hello to Jeffrey, Oscar. You have a good weekend?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, great.
Tom Griswold
Okay, we'll talk about that coming up. We have to get an update on Josh. No, I don't. Just. This is what you.
Pat Godwin
This is called the teaser with another update. Great.
Chick McGee
We'll talk about that later.
Pat Godwin
Coffee. Write that down. Make sure we have another update from Oscar. Okay, here we go.
Tom Griswold
I want to see how many died. Like a copy of the D picture sent out. All right, I want to say the best way to. The best way to wake up is with a little bit of coffee or tea or perhaps something else. Maybe good old Java House. An athletic type drink from Java House. This portion of the Bob and Tom show is sponsored by Java House, the official coffee and refreshments of the Bob and Tom Show. In about five seconds, I can make an amazingly smooth cup of. It says coffee here. Lately, I've been doing a lot of tea. I can make it right here in the studio. What have I. Here's one. It's called Peel and Pour. It looks like a Keurig cup a little bit bigger. You could just about drop A golf ball in this thing.
Chick McGee
Good stuff.
Tom Griswold
And then you just peel it off, pour it in the cup and add water, hot, cold, whatever you want. And it's called Java House. Revolutionizing the office coffee room and the home coffee room. You're not gonna need that Keurig anymore. You can do teas, lattes, energy drinks. What do they call them? Hydration drinks. And Josh's favorite, by the way, is the hot cocoa, which I keep thinking I'm gonna try, and I haven't tried it yet, by the way. These are recyclable pods. They've asked me not to go into the details, but they are 100% recyclable. And that means no puncturing, no microplastics in your drink. So you're, you'll be plastic free inside your body, I guess. Use the promo code. Bob and Tom.
Pat Godwin
You're doing a great job, Tom.
Tom Griswold
Well, there's microplastics.
Christy Lee
Heal and pour. And do yourself a favor. It's easy. It's wonderful. You're making this way too hard.
Tom Griswold
Okay, good. 25 off your order. The code. The code is Bob and Tom. One big long word. B O B A N D t o m javahouse.com.
Pat Godwin
And you only have a short time left because you're going to be 75.
Christy Lee
75.
Chick McGee
11 days.
Pat Godwin
So you better hurry that you're not.
Christy Lee
Going to be 75.
Tom Griswold
No, but we both born on the 22nd.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Now when we come back, we'll talk about something else.
Pat Godwin
Do you remember who Roger Ramjet's voice? Who did Roger Ramjet's voice in the cartoon? We'll have the answer when we come.
Tom Griswold
Oh, I love that cartoon.
Pat Godwin
Isn't that exciting?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Very good, very good.
Pat Godwin
I'm speaking Tom right now.
Tom Griswold

Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. Hello. Hello. Hello. Not bloody likely. No.
Tom Griswold
What's your favorite?
Christy Lee
A lot of British TV over the weekend.
Pat Godwin
Douglas is canceled. Really good on Brit Box.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, check that out.
Chick McGee
I like that.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, check that out.
Christy Lee
Douglas is Canceled. Is the name of the show not Douglas?
Pat Godwin
No.
Christy Lee
Okay. All right.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. Hi, Pat. Hey, Christy.
Christy Lee
Hi.
Pat Godwin
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Did you introduce everybody? I wasn't paying attention just now.
Pat Godwin
Hello, Tom. I was talking as you were trying to. I was introducing.
Tom Griswold
I'm getting things organized over here. Sorry. Welcome back.
Pat Godwin
Just think of the show that you could do. Just come with me at this scenario.
Tom Griswold
Who you've been talking to.
Pat Godwin
Just think of how you. Much you would contribute, be a part of the show. How much fun you'd have if you paid attention. Organizer.
Tom Griswold
I'm like, the advanced man for this show.
Pat Godwin
Well, stop.
Tom Griswold
Like when a band goes on tour, someone goes ahead and gets everything. Or I'm getting organized now for the next break.
Christy Lee
Well, why don't you worry about this break?
Tom Griswold
Because I'm taking a moment. A couple quick things. I mentioned that both Christy and I were at the Peter Frampton concert.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
And Peter's got some more dates coming up. I'll tell you about him, but.
Pat Godwin
Oh, he's dating someone.
Christy Lee
I don't know about that.
Tom Griswold
Concert dates. The larger point here is I was talking to him. He's such a great guy, such a nice guy. But I was talking to him backstage, and he goes. I was mentioning how great his band is. His. His second guitar player played a terrific solo. I mean, he's amazing.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
During this one song, and I mentioned Peter, that was such a great song. He. He was. That solo. He did that. His touch was amazing. It's got to be pretty intimidating for him playing with Peter Frampton. And Peter goes, are you kidding? It's. It's tough for me playing with him. But then he goes, oh, my crew is amazing. A bunch of these guys work for Elton, but Elton was on some kind of hiatus, so Peter got him to go out. And then he goes, elton's really pissed at me because I've got half of this group.
Pat Godwin
I was gonna say, I'm glad you backed off on Peter's accent there. He sounded a little bit Transylvanian.
Tom Griswold
Sorry.
Pat Godwin
I did.
Jeff Oskay
I wondered what that was.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Forgive me.
Chick McGee
Born in Slovenia.
Tom Griswold
It's very hard for me to play with him.
Pat Godwin
Do you feel like we do?
Tom Griswold
Sorry. And now. And now Dracula does Frampton. Hello. I don't need no doctor.
Christy Lee
Watch Ten Commandments over the weekend. Anybody else?
Pat Godwin
Are her lips red like pomegranates?
Christy Lee
Yes. Boy, is that overacted or what?
Pat Godwin
Oh, and Baxter chews the scenery and spits it out.
Chick McGee
One of them.
Christy Lee
I loved it. It was so bad.
Chick McGee
It was comical.
Christy Lee
Not bad. It was so good.
Pat Godwin
It's just Sir Cedric Hardwick.
Tom Griswold
How do they decide what English accent to use? That always killed me.
Christy Lee
And the. And the hairstyles and the go. Oh, my gosh. It was just something. I had never seen that movie.
Pat Godwin
And Edward G. Robinson.
Chick McGee
Yeah, he doesn't change his accent at all.
Christy Lee
Where's your God now?
Pat Godwin
Where's your Messiah now? So funny.
Christy Lee
And Vincent Price. I didn't know Vincent Price.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, it was John Carradine.
Christy Lee
John Carradine.
Pat Godwin
John Derek.
Tom Griswold
John Carradine is David Carradine's father.
Pat Godwin
John Carradine is Moses brother.
Tom Griswold
He was famously in the John Steinbeck. What is it? Yeah, yeah.
Christy Lee
It was very enjoyable.
Tom Griswold
Okay, well, good. We have to get to some letters.
Christy Lee
Here, so Happy Easter. Happy bomb. Sunday.
Pat Godwin
Time for letters.
Tom Griswold
Not yet, because first we have to talk to Jeff Oscar about his weekend.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
The update comedian Jeff Oscar sitting in this morning for Josh. Did you have a big weekend? Exciting.
Jeff Oskay
It was great.
Tom Griswold
It was great. That's it.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Did you catch any fish?
Jeff Oskay
I did. I caught a few fish. Nothing close to what Josh.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
By the way, we need to hook you up with the picture that Josh's fish. Huge fish, like five pounder, he said.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
What do you think of that?
Jeff Oskay
Pound even.
Christy Lee
He's got to have won something for that.
Jeff Oskay
I would think maybe for the day.
Tom Griswold
This is a.
Pat Godwin
It was exactly.
Tom Griswold
Fishing tournament.
Jeff Oskay
Five pound even.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
All right.
Tom Griswold
Great.
Chick McGee
Great looking fish.
Jeff Oskay
I've never even came close to catching a fish that big.
Christy Lee
Really?
Jeff Oskay
Well, not a bass.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Jeff Oskay
I mean, I catch catfish that big.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Pat Godwin
How do you feel about bass rhyme rhyming with ass? How do you feel?
Chick McGee
To make you laugh.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, I like that.
Pat Godwin
Okay.
Tom Griswold
I like it a lot. That's. That's it.
Pat Godwin
There he is, buddy. Check that thing out.
Tom Griswold
That's huge.
Christy Lee
He is so happy.
Chick McGee
He looks happy there.
Tom Griswold
I haven't seen that.
Jeff Oskay
You don't see a smile like that in the studio.
Chick McGee
No, sour.
Tom Griswold
That is a big fish. When.
Pat Godwin
When he comes in, he's got that smile. And in about 45, 50 minutes.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, Christie's right. But that does look like a picture you'd see in a magazine or some. Really.
Christy Lee
So hot.
Jeff Oskay
That's a hog.
Pat Godwin
And look at that comment Pat Godwin put there. Pat, you want to recreate that?
Chick McGee
It's really wordy.
Tom Griswold
Great. So it was like Jeff's weekend.
Christy Lee
I said, did you win anything? But he never answered it. So I don't know.
Pat Godwin
Well, he's busy. He's partying.
Tom Griswold
Okay, let's get to our letters. Now we ask you to write us via email. Bob and tom. Bob and tom.com.
Pat Godwin
Dear everyone but Tom. Why don't you guys chip in and get Tom a sippy cup?
Christy Lee
Hey, that's a good idea.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, did your key fob work after you spilled?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I spilled tea over everything.
Pat Godwin
It was like a whole cup, right?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I was of delicious java house tea.
Christy Lee
Did your Q tip method work to clean out your wallet?
Chick McGee
I forgot about that.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that was crazy. I had to take my wallet and splay it all out with Q tips and dry it with air. Yeah, it was a idiot move. Sorry.
Christy Lee
I loved it.
Pat Godwin
Dear Tom, my question is for you. How do you know anything? What's your problem? Anytime someone mentions anything you have. You've never heard about it and you then have to mention something from 1543. Tom. And then you start on your TED talk. Come on, Tom. I'm just curious. I love the show. P S. I have a crush on someone on the show. That's from Megan.
Tom Griswold
Oh, there you go. In the words of a fine movie, the benefits of a classical education.
Pat Godwin
Is that what that is?
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Got a good letter here. We had an interesting news story last week. Is it 3 million? How much money is in it? NASA's gonna reward somebody $3 million if.
Christy Lee
They can figure out a way to take for some reason the poop problem.
Tom Griswold
They'Re concerned about with astronauts. How to get rid of the human waste when they're on.
Christy Lee
Apparently there are 96 bags of human waste on the moon now from Apollo.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I. I think it's really not all that much to worry, you know, Fill up a crater, who's gonna know, right?
Pat Godwin
Oh, by the way, bury it. I know this story's been around for a while, but for some reason it just broke through the chick Magee fog that Gayle King and Katy Perry are taken off for space today.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. What?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, yeah, like at 9:30 Eastern. Evidently they're taking off celebrity and I say if we can shoot those two into space, why don't we start. Start a list and shoot other people into. Yeah, they're going and they get to come back. Bezos's fiance, she's a children's book writer.
Christy Lee
Lauren Sanchez.
Tom Griswold
Very good. Yeah. Dear Bob and Tom, with regard to the human waste on the moon, you had a news story about NASA wanting ideas what to do with the bags of waste. The only logical answer, of course, is a T shirt cannon.
Jeff Oskay
I like that.
Tom Griswold
Can you imagine some kind of space bazooka shooting at 300. Because think how far it would go on the moon.
Pat Godwin
Well, no, it would never stop.
Tom Griswold
There's so much less gravity.
Pat Godwin
It would go all the way around the moon and come back, hit you in the back of the head.
Tom Griswold
If you're just joining us, thanks very much. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios, and this is the Bob and Tom show. And we are going to move on with more letters.
Pat Godwin
I'm very excited about this letter, one of my favorite ever. Good morning, gang. I am a truck driver and I was traveling Eastbound on the I10 right around Blythe, California. I looked up over to my left and there she was, the Goodyear blimp. Aw. My immediate thought was Tom would love this, of course. Have a great show. Looking forward to four hours of fun. That's Michael somewhere near Blythe, California.
Tom Griswold
You know, we had. There she was Wesley from Arkansas weighing in on what NASA's got going. Now, this next letter is one of our what grandpa used to say to you. This comes to us from Dan in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
He would say, hey, use your head for something other than a hat rack. It's a classic. This next one is. This next one has too many F words in it. This is from Randall. My sister's boyfriends would stop by to visit and overstay their welcome. My dad would say, boy, if you don't have a home, I'll dig you one.
Pat Godwin
Holy hell.
Chick McGee
It's not mince words, I think, that.
Pat Godwin
Qualifies as attempted murder, I think.
Tom Griswold
Now, Pat, you'll like this one. This comes to us from Nebraska. Mr. Gomez writes, well, I was at my daughter's dance recital over the weekend. It was a beach theme. Now, for those of you that have been to dance recitals, and I've been to many, they're amazing, but they are long and they are crowded.
Pat Godwin
When does the. Isn't there an age where they're really cute and just heartwarming and then they get to an age where it's like, I need to get out of here? Yeah, right.
Tom Griswold
The ones I go to, it starts with the cute and it ends with older kids. They're amazing.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I mean, they are so good.
Pat Godwin
I've never been to one of those.
Tom Griswold
Yep, some of the one. One of them is a friend of ours, daughter, and they, they work six days a week.
Pat Godwin
The last one, I was the stage presence of most of the dancers. They did not want to be there.
Tom Griswold
Ah. Oh, no. These were great. He's. I'm sorry. So Mr. Gomez is at the dance recital. Beach themed, as I mentioned. Suddenly, the song Rock the Boat came on.
Pat Godwin
Love it. Love it.
Tom Griswold
I was singing out loud. Coke in the boat. Coke in the boat, baby. Coke in the boat. My wife gave me, quote, the look.
Chick McGee
Oh, he got the look.
Pat Godwin
Tip the boat over.
Christy Lee
Coke in the boat.
Tom Griswold
Now, as you guys know, I often bring up hello, Mudda. Hello, Father. One of the great songs of my childhood that is now a classic summer camp classic by the great Alan Sherman. I memorized all of Alan Sherman's albums as a youth. I can sing.
Pat Godwin
Well done.
Tom Griswold
Oh, there's, you know, members of Hadassah Ma Zelda.
Pat Godwin
It wasn't. Maybe that's one I was remembering. I thought it was even more insulting than that.
Christy Lee
A couple of the other.
Tom Griswold
Oh, there's so many funny.
Chick McGee
Is he that you took the wrong way? Old King Louie. Is that him? That song?
Tom Griswold
And then he's got the one about the parody of green sleeves that has the line, that's funny for I am moving to Shaker Heights where I have a connection in dry goods. Classic, but hilarious.
Jeff Oskay
The hits keep coming.
Pat Godwin
Was he ever on tv?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, a little bit. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Like, he had a show, actually, for a while.
Tom Griswold
I think so. Yeah. This guy said, I was listening to the show Everyone Loves Guitar with Craig Garber. He was interviewing Jake Sima Bukuro, the great.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah. Ukulele player. Yes, yes.
Tom Griswold
He's been here.
Pat Godwin
First call Uke.
Christy Lee
He's been here.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. They were discussing things, and all of a sudden he mentioned how much he loves Helen Sherman and that he'll often perform it when he does karaoke. He'll do hello, Mata. Hello, Father. Because did you know that Alan Sherman was quite the playboy and philanderer?
Christy Lee
No. Well, with that song, I can imagine.
Pat Godwin
Alan Sherman was a hound. Do you know what Alan Sherman looks like?
Christy Lee
No. But, boy, you serenade me.
Tom Griswold
He looks like. He looks like a pudgy. A pudgy accountant from Brooklyn.
Pat Godwin
And pudgy's being kind.
Christy Lee
Really?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Looking him up.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Pat Godwin
Lastly, he looks like he sweats a lot.
Tom Griswold
This is from Fort Wayne, Indiana. From Robbie. When I was a kid, my family would go out to dinner on Friday nights. My dad never missed an opportunity. When asked how he'd like his steak, he would always just knock the wind out of it and throw it in the plate. Obviously, he likes pretty rare. Cut to 35 years later, I go to dinner with my father. He would say exactly the same thing, and I had to pretend I thought it was a great joke and go, good One dad, you gotta love that.
Pat Godwin
Isn't there the one where it just wipe its butt and throw it on the table or something?
Chick McGee
That's from a movie, I think. Paris, Texas. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. Extremely rare or something. That's what they like.
Tom Griswold
One of my other favorite sayings is I have Stevie Wonder syndrome. I have both eyes open, but I don't see it happening. Well, thank you very much. You don't have. Apparently those don't really. How about this one? I saw Kostaki last week in doing a live show. It was great. When he gets there, ask him if he sent the drunk obnoxious bartender that he promised to send D pics to. Oh, boy, a lady.
Pat Godwin
Wow.
Tom Griswold
So we'll find out that.
Pat Godwin
What do you mean when he gets here.
Tom Griswold
Kostaki is going to be our guest today.
Chick McGee
Oh, that's today.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, I'm feeling like I might be heading into one of my moods. You guys keep an eye on me, okay?
Tom Griswold
All right.
Pat Godwin
Don't be shy. Don't be shy about sending me home.
Tom Griswold

Christy Lee
Hello.
Pat Godwin
Jeff Oskay. I'm Chick Magee. This is Tom.
Tom Griswold
Oh, whoa.
Pat Godwin
Sneezing.
Tom Griswold
That was recorded.
Pat Godwin
And here's Tom.
Tom Griswold
Didn't know I was reading some commercial or something. Forgive me. Sorry. It was a big sneeze. You got to get it out. I say let her rip. Time now to check in to the sporting scene.
Pat Godwin
No, I got. We got letters. I got letters.
Tom Griswold
Another letter.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. Hello, misfits. I'm Icelandic and I don't know what they're referring to. So help me on this, because I every, on the, these shows that we do, the Bob and Tom show, as soon as I. As soon as whatever show's done, I forget everything I've ever said, okay? And mostly everything you guys have said. I, I believe that I'm Icelandic and you could not pay me enough money to eat the shark.
Christy Lee
Oh, the shark. We were talking about the rod.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Here, I'll find it.
Pat Godwin
Go ahead, Mac the knife or whatever.
Tom Griswold
No, it's a beer delicacy.
Christy Lee
Eat.
Tom Griswold
There was a thing about some beer made of.
Chick McGee
Yeah, shark vomit.
Pat Godwin
Shark cartilage.
Christy Lee
No, it was. There's some delicacy.
Tom Griswold
Give me a second, I'll find it.
Pat Godwin
And by the way, one of our delicacies here in Iceland. I am not making this up. Johan says we have sour ram testicles. Dot, dot, dot, dot.
Tom Griswold
Here it is.
Pat Godwin
Yummy. He says.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that's yummy. Here was the story. It involves a craft beer made from whale testicles. And they've been doing it for the last 10 years. The steady brewery produces a seasonal beer made with whale testicles that have been smoked in sheep dung. This is from the brewery's website. During the Icelandic season, when people gather in celebration and eat old traditional Icelandic food that includes rotten shark, soured whale fat and rams testicles. So that's what he's referring to. And this company for the last 10 years has made this special beer. It's called Havalure, or maybe it's pronounced have alure. But it's. Here's what's in it. Icelandic water, barley berry hops and sheep dung. And smoked whale balls. Then it says, according to this News account from travelandleisure.com because of a lack of trees in Iceland, we use dry sheep dung to smoke the balls, According to a spokesman for the brewery.
Pat Godwin
Wow.
Tom Griswold
The. It says the balls give flavor to the beer. It is a one of a kind brew and it's released annually in I believe, February. So that's. That's what he's referencing. And, and hello Iceland. It's so great that you're listening. We certainly appreciate it.
Jeff Oskay
How big is a whale ball?
Christy Lee
It has to be big, right? A beach ball size.
Pat Godwin
I was gonna say a little bigger than a basketball, but maybe that's too small.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, I would think.
Christy Lee
Beach ball, right?
Pat Godwin
Don't you think, Tom?
Christy Lee
Depending on what size whale.
Tom Griswold
No. Are they, are they tucked in or is it like when you. Is it like when you pass a big truck and they have those, those balls.
Christy Lee
Utah. Now, yeah.
Pat Godwin
You would think there would be some sort of something that goes on within the whale's physiology, that their balls are always inside.
Tom Griswold
I keep them warm. I'm sure they are.
Pat Godwin
Right?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, but. Yeah, I know.
Chick McGee
I keep mine inside.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. I just think it's, it's so funny because over the years we always get these sort of crazy craft beers that are made from. Remember there was the one from the vaginal yeast of some Czechoslovakian model or something. And it's. But to make them using whale testicles, I wouldn't mind tasting it.
Christy Lee
Would you read them?
Pat Godwin
Oh, come on.
Christy Lee
No way.
Chick McGee
You're not.
Pat Godwin
Why?
Tom Griswold
Because it's. You don't take. Whenever they do this, you don't taste. I mean, it's. Who knows?
Pat Godwin
I bet it's at least game.
Christy Lee
I bet it is.
Jeff Oskay
Whale testicles, according to the whale scientist, can weigh up to approximately 1100 pounds.
Christy Lee
Oh my God.
Chick McGee
That's bigger than a beach ball.
Pat Godwin
One testicle.
Jeff Oskay
That's what it just says. Testicle. Each testicle can weigh up to approximately 1100 pounds.
Tom Griswold
But like most mammals, one is bigger than the other. So you're going to have your 1100 over here. And then your thousand over here.
Pat Godwin
Isn't that interesting, ladies? Breasts and men's testicles.
Tom Griswold
So they harvest whales, then, obviously.
Pat Godwin
Well, they harvest whales for all sorts of things like, I think, shoe polish and.
Tom Griswold
What?
Pat Godwin
Blubber.
Tom Griswold
I don't want to be. Oh, that's horrible. Well, speaking of whales.
Pat Godwin
Never get this.
Tom Griswold
Stop blubbering. There is a. Of course, a whale known as a sperm whale.
Jeff Oskay
Right.
Tom Griswold
And we have big sperm news coming up today.
Pat Godwin
And speaking of Iceland and cold and whales and our buddy, M.D. rice cup.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
She's in a new TV series on Netflix called North of north, and it takes place in Nunavut, Canada, one of the coldest places on Earth.
Christy Lee
Do you follow her on Instagram when she was shooting that?
Pat Godwin
I do, yeah.
Christy Lee
Yeah, it was interesting. She was cold.
Pat Godwin
Check that out.
Tom Griswold
She's the woman in 24 that was always bent over the computer.
Chick McGee
Exactly.
Tom Griswold
Bent over the computer.
Christy Lee
It's funny.
Pat Godwin
Gail the snail on Always Sunny. Always Sunny. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Okay. So there you go. So anyway, if you're looking for an unusual beer, I don't know if you can get it in the United States of America, but from the Ste DJI Brewery, made from Wales, testicles that have been smoked and sheep dung again. So that. Does that mean. I guess sheep dung is flammable.
Christy Lee
I guess so.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Pat Godwin
I think all that. Everything is, I think, waste. Yeah. I think there's some sort of generator or something that runs on waste. I forget what. What it is.
Tom Griswold
I wonder what the process with the ecological. Smoked sheep dung can't be.
Christy Lee
Smell good.
Tom Griswold
You know, I've never noticed. I've never noticed at one of those candle shops. And we have the smoked sheep dog, if you'd like.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, very. Back again.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that'll make the pot smell go away.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah. If you want something, you wanted something really authentic. Yeah. Yeah. Christie's right. No, officer, that's not. That's not marijuana. That's. That's the. That's my sheep dung candle from Iceland. It's completely authentic.
Pat Godwin
Speaking of that, I think Pat has a sheepdong song, don't you? Do you have a sheep dung song?
Chick McGee
I had a cow dung song, I think.
Pat Godwin
Do you?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Well, why don't you whip that out?
Chick McGee
I don't.
Pat Godwin
I'd like to hear that.
Chick McGee
I don't know.
Pat Godwin
Would you like to? Years ago, first, Tom was talking about one of his favorite cartoons. Last week when he was a kid, it was called Roger Ramjet.
Tom Griswold
Well, it's because Greg Hahn looks like Roger Ramjet. You guys pooh, poohed it. Then we put a picture of him up and you all went, wow, he does.
Pat Godwin
No legs, big chest. This is Roger Ramjet talking about being Roger Ramjet. You might notice that you'll recognize the voice.
Tom Griswold
Roger Ramjet, internationally famous, good guy, devil may care, flying fool and inventor of the Ramjet proton energy pill which when taken as directed by a physician gives me the strength of 20 atom bombs for 20 seconds.
Pat Godwin
Reporting, sir, that's Gary Owens. Yeah, how about that, Tom?
Tom Griswold
Very good, very good.
Pat Godwin
Famous.
Tom Griswold
Well, now a quick just what's coming up in sports, we will hear from.
Pat Godwin
Rory McElroy about winning the Masters because he started off horribly and then got better, then horrible again, then better than horrible and he finally, he finally won on the, on the playoffs will it. Jordan Spieth has a problem with Augusta National Golf course and mud balls. What are those, Chick? We'll explain when we come back.
Tom Griswold
They, they weigh 1100 pounds.
Pat Godwin
A piece. And so you're at the Major League Baseball park and there's a foul ball heading at you and how do you catch it? That's right, with a pastry. Okay, we'll have details.
Tom Griswold
We'll look forward to all those things. Also coming up, we do have some of the most unusual news about sperm and motility and fertility. Coming up, sperm in the news. And then we have some marijuana news, of course. And is there a chewing gum that could prevent you from getting herpes? We're gonna find out. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Hey, thanks for listening to the Bob and Tom show this morning.

Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. Hello, hello, hello, hello. Christy Lee at the SILAC Insurance news desk. Hi. Hello. Pat Godwin.
Chick McGee
Hey, Chick Licky.
Pat Godwin
I so want to hear a song from you.
Chick McGee
You do?
Pat Godwin
We got a minutes? We do?
Christy Lee
Like what?
Chick McGee
Oh, I love that UK barbecue store.
Pat Godwin
That sounds good. There's Jeff Oskay I'm Chick Magee and we are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Hello, Tom.
Tom Griswold
Hello, Chick Magee. Now you are at your post, the sports desk.
Pat Godwin
That's right.
Tom Griswold
We have a couple of things we got to review in the world of sports, including not the least of which.
Pat Godwin
Rory McElroy turned another major collapse into an incredible victory. He hit a wedge. Not a wedge salad, Tom. It's a wedge. It's a, it's a, it's a club into three feet for a birdie and sudden death playoff yesterday to finally win the Masters and take his place in golf history as just the 6 player to claim the career Grand Slam.
Tom Griswold
You know what's interesting? The Masters, they have more money than God, as you know. Remember the one year they ran it without commercials because they just paid CBS.
Pat Godwin
To play because they could.
Tom Griswold
But I there they've gotten cheap in one way, I think.
Pat Godwin
What's that?
Tom Griswold
Well, you get the famous green jacket.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Back in the 50s you'd get the green jacket and two pairs of pants.
Jeff Oskay
Now just the jacket.
Tom Griswold
Just the jacket now. And you have to leave the jacket there.
Christy Lee
You get it for a year. You get to take it out for a year. I guess.
Chick McGee
Does anybody.
Christy Lee
Then you bring it back out. They loan it out for a year. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Well, you also get a miniature of Augusta national golf course.
Tom Griswold
A miniature jacket almost as stupid and a little, a little, a little action figure. It looks like yourself.
Pat Godwin
I believe we have a picture of Rory holding the miniature Augusta national golf course building. And it looks like he's going to say I have this. I'm going to my room and I'm going to play dolls and don't bother me.
Christy Lee
They really get that.
Pat Godwin
Yes. That's his.
Chick McGee
He was very emotional.
Christy Lee
He was very emotional. It was really sweet.
Pat Godwin
His rock star wife still, it's, it's, it's iconic. It's an, it's a fabric of America. The green jacket, the master. I don't like that color green. We need to switch it up.
Chick McGee
I agree.
Pat Godwin
At least a different shade.
Christy Lee
He would have thought if he thought he was going to win, he would have worn a different shirt that would have gone with the clash.
Jeff Oskay
The thing is he's a man.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
So he could give to about that.
Pat Godwin
Are you sure?
Christy Lee
I don't know.
Jeff Oskay
Well, he's wearing that shirt with that jacket.
Christy Lee
I know.
Jeff Oskay
So he must be a.
Pat Godwin
And we had trouble yesterday. Jordan Spieth taking heat from golf fans and officials from Augusta national because he broke a major unwritten rule following his third round 69 at the Masters yesterday, he. In the third round, he made three birdies, no bogeys to move under par for the week inside of the top 25. But Spieth was asked about his round and how it differed from the first two days. He thought he would put himself in place to win the tournament, but he said encountered an interesting hazards along the way on Augusta National. And here's Jordan Speath. Be brutally honest with you. It was primarily mud balls.
Tom Griswold
And it's just so frustrating because you.
Pat Godwin
Can'T talk about them here.
Tom Griswold
You're not supposed to talk about it.
Pat Godwin
I mean, mud balls can affect this tournament significantly. A mud ball refers to a situation where golfers have mud stuck to their ball, the one they're playing on the course.
Christy Lee
Oh, okay.
Pat Godwin
Which can significantly alter the flight and or trajectory of the following shot if you don't get your balls clean tomorrow. Spieth claims that it happens often at Augusta national, almost too often, but that officials tell golfers not to talk about it.
Tom Griswold
They can't pick up the ball and clean it.
Christy Lee
Right.
Chick McGee
Why not?
Pat Godwin
Can they not touch the ball? Can't you get away?
Christy Lee
The only time you can pick it up is on the putting green.
Pat Godwin
See, this is where.
Jeff Oskay
On the green?
Christy Lee
Yeah, on the green. You can.
Pat Godwin
The rules, they're just didn't Tiger.
Jeff Oskay
And you could clean the Tiger clean holes.
Tom Griswold
Tiger woods famously had mud balls after banging one of the waitresses from the the Chicken Shack down the road one time on Denny's on the ninth green at late at night.
Pat Godwin
You know, say what you want about Tiger, but he had. He had an interesting taste, if you will. He was. He was down to earth.
Christy Lee
Normal gals.
Pat Godwin
I don't care about a supermodel.
Chick McGee
It'd be a waitress.
Pat Godwin
What's Wanda doing? That's what I want to know.
Christy Lee
Girl next door.
Pat Godwin
Hey. Hey, Wanda.
Christy Lee
Yeah, you can't clean between holes, but.
Jeff Oskay
I love the ball washer thing.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah?
Jeff Oskay
Have you ever used one before?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I fell off. I almost lost my desk.
Jeff Oskay
Well, yeah, I had to use a step ladder to get up there, do.
Pat Godwin
The ball washer and then look at whoever you're playing golf with and go, hey, we should go back to the hotel.
Tom Griswold
The fact that it's an up and down motion. Oh, yeah, that's probably.
Christy Lee
I developed that.
Tom Griswold
Probably the most. The most told angle on any golf course.
Pat Godwin
Here's Rory after his victory. I didn't make it easy today. I certainly didn't make it easy. I. I was nervous.
Tom Griswold
It was one of the toughest days I've ever had on the golf course. In a funny way, I feel like the double bogey at the first sort of settled my nerves.
Pat Godwin
And it's funny, walking to the second tee. The first thing that popped into my.
Tom Griswold
Head was John Ram a couple of.
Pat Godwin
Years ago, making double and going on to win. Yeah. Isn't that. Did you watch any of the golf.
Tom Griswold
I sure did.
Pat Godwin
It's very. It's soothing. It's.
Christy Lee
Yeah, it's very relaxed.
Pat Godwin
Very relaxed.
Chick McGee
What a gorgeous.
Christy Lee
Josh always likes to watch golf.
Tom Griswold
He says it's.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. With you. Have you.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Have.
Tom Griswold
I got a little nervous. I was. I was rooting for Rory, and then when he won, I was sitting by myself in my office and I jumped up.
Pat Godwin
Honestly, that's all I heard before the Masters. Rory is the favorite this year, and I don't know how they do this with golf tournaments. I don't know how you pick a favorite, but that's all I heard. And then his first round was horrible. And I thought, well, that was entirely wrong. And then.
Tom Griswold
All right, it was fun.
Pat Godwin
I came back. Let's see, Rory now has won the US Open in 2011, the PGA Championship in 2012, the British in 2014, and now this year's Masters. Kyle Larson led 411 of 500 laps, scored a win on Sunday. Dominican, NASCAR Cup Series, Bristol. And a Red Sox baseball fan. Oh, there's a pretty good documentary on Netflix, too, about season with the Red Sox. It's interesting. It's very interesting. They have a pitcher who's into yoga. It's kind of like Major League, the Movie come to life. It's. It's very interesting. Anyway, a Red Sox fan had a big day at Fenway Park. Caught a foul ball with a fried funnel cake. You heard me. Broadcast footage of Thursday's Red Sox Blue Jays game shows the ball. Is this why we did this story?
Tom Griswold
What?
Christy Lee
What?
Pat Godwin
It bounced off Bo Bichette's bat.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Chick McGee
That's a mouthful.
Pat Godwin
And went into the stands after bouncing off Bo Ba's bat. Is it Bichette?
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Pat Godwin
Into the stand.
Tom Griswold
It looks like it spells like Bichette. That'd be like a. Like a young.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that's why we did the story. Chick, you're. Absolutely.
Tom Griswold
No, it's fine. The guy.
Pat Godwin
I believe there's a Bo Bichette Jr.
Tom Griswold
I think he catches the. The guy catches the ball with his funnel cake.
Pat Godwin
It lands in the fans, and the way.
Tom Griswold
The way the Red Sox are playing, they should probably issue funnel cakes to the guys on the field. Here's Your Rawlings funnel cake. Try to catch a ball, will you? We. We're stinking up the game.
Jeff Oskay
I've never had a funnel cake.
Christy Lee
I haven't either.
Pat Godwin
It's like. They're like an elephant ear.
Jeff Oskay
Yes, I've had a Ted Williams tunnel cake.
Tom Griswold
What's that?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Huh?
Tom Griswold
Hang on a second.
Jeff Oskay
It's like exhausted cigarettes. Okay. Hey, I thought I would.
Tom Griswold
I'm gonna just admit I don't get it.
Pat Godwin
Okay, hang on. Ted Williams smoked a lot. He was from.
Jeff Oskay
There's a tunnel in Boston named after Ted Williams. He's a famous red.
Tom Griswold
He was.
Pat Godwin
He's probably the Boston Red Sox.
Tom Griswold
I thought. I thought you were going for the fact that when he died, Ted Williams head was cut off and it's.
Pat Godwin
And they froze it and his head got soft.
Tom Griswold
He thought.
Christy Lee
They thought, yeah. What happened to him after that? Do we know?
Pat Godwin
I think they had to throw him out.
Jeff Oskay
You can't throw him out.
Christy Lee
You don't want freezer burn. You can't refreeze.
Pat Godwin
No, no. Ted Williams got skunked.
Chick McGee
He can't refreeze that.
Tom Griswold
I believe his head is still frozen somewhere.
Chick McGee
No, they had a.
Christy Lee
If it thought out.
Tom Griswold
Well, his. His son convinced him to do this. Then his son died and. It's an ugly story. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
A lot of karma going on in that.
Tom Griswold
And there's a thing in the book where the. There's a guy up in the thing with a saw cutting the head off and. Oh, it's just awful. Do you.
Pat Godwin
You remember the title of that book? I'd like to read that.
Tom Griswold
I don't. I'd have to. I read it years ago. It's a great. Ted Williams was a incredibly. Besides being gifted baseball player, Ted Williams was a very brave pilot. Did a bunch of missions and very, very brave man.
Christy Lee
I don't step on your toes.
Pat Godwin
And also hard to get to know.
Christy Lee
But a big shout out to our good friend Tony Stewart, who won his first Top Fuel championship win yesterday. He went out in Las Vegas.
Jeff Oskay
Nice.
Christy Lee
Kyle Kirkwood won the Long Beach Grand Prix. That was a pretty fun race. If you hadn't. I know the masters were going on, so people were going back and forth.
Pat Godwin
Tony Stewart. That drag race was inside a casino, wasn't it?
Christy Lee
It was not inside a casino, but it was 4 wide. Do you ever watch those 4 wide ones? That's kind of fun.
Pat Godwin
I do 4 wide at stoplights every now and then.
Christy Lee
Do you?
Pat Godwin
I. I roll down the window and I go, oh, you want to run?
Tom Griswold
Seriously? At the 4 wide. At the 4 wide. Drag races. They have a concession that sells hearing aids. Yeah. That's loud. Have you ever.
Christy Lee
It's really.
Tom Griswold
I have been. Oh, my God. That is loud.
Pat Godwin
Speaking of racing, is everyone comfortable? Is everyone ready to listen?
Chick McGee
Yes.
Pat Godwin
You're not going to believe it. Here we go. A startup company announced that it is launching the world's first live sperm race. The company, called Sperm Racing, raised a million dollars to fund this event. The race will reportedly involve a microscopic race track where sperm motility is tracked in real time, offering a full sporting experience with commentary. And you can bet on Sperm Race.
Christy Lee
No way.
Jeff Oskay
Gentlemen, start your erections.
Tom Griswold
Does the winner get to eat the cracker? How does this work exactly?
Pat Godwin
Sperm Racing said their aim is to bring awareness to declining male fertility. The event is set for 11 days, April 25, at the Hollywood Palladium. Now, this is interesting because normally the sperm races at the Hollywood Palladium are they take place in the parking lot. In this case, they're going to be inside.
Tom Griswold
Last one of the tonsils is a rotten egg. This is apparently a bunch of what, Internet millionaire guys that are got to.
Christy Lee
Be under a microscope kind of thing.
Tom Griswold
Projected onto a big screen.
Pat Godwin
It sounds to me like they raised a million dollars in one of those Kickstarter things.
Christy Lee
Yikes.
Pat Godwin
A million bucks.
Tom Griswold
The. One of the downsides of this is if one of the sperms breaks its tail, they have to shoot it.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. I wonder who the number one seed is.
Chick McGee
Horse racing.
Jeff Oskay
There you go.
Pat Godwin
You're back.
Jeff Oskay
Tunnel kick.
Pat Godwin
I say the number one seed, son.
Tom Griswold
It starts when you're a kid with the Pinewood Derby. And now. Now you're watching semen. This is the dumb.
Christy Lee
Well, semen and sperm are different. Come on, you know that.
Tom Griswold
No, I don't.
Christy Lee
You don't know.
Tom Griswold
That is semen. The whole.
Christy Lee
Is the carrier, if you will.
Pat Godwin
Well, semen has lubricant in it, many proteins.
Tom Griswold
Depending on where it's accessed. E. Coli. Hey, I said no ass samples. George. I wonder, does this have sponsors? Is this going to be. Going to be like nascar where you got a. Well, we've got the Jurgens lotion team, and I'll tell you what, this Kleenex team, this Kleenex team is hard to beat. They are. They are. They are just going great this season. Sperm racing.
Pat Godwin
More sports coming up, including a really old gorilla.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Pat Godwin
And the greatest coach in the history of the National Football League.
Tom Griswold
Your favorite.
Pat Godwin
We'll have an update. No, not at all.
Tom Griswold
I thought your favorite's Vince. I thought Vince Lombardi was your favorite.
Pat Godwin
Well, he is, but that's not who I'm talking about.
Tom Griswold
Oh, who you're talking about.
Christy Lee
That's a tea.
Pat Godwin
Bill Belichick. Tom. Bill Belichick. Oh, we have a story about Bill coming up that, that you handed me not, not an hour ago. But I, I, I could see why you would forget my fault. And now here's, here's Tom with Silac Tom.
Tom Griswold

Tom Griswold
We'll look forward to that. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show. Hi, this is Debbie, your blinds.com design consultant.

Chick McGee
Hello.
Pat Godwin
Coming up, there's Christy Lee. Hey, Jeff OSKAY. I'm Chick McGee. Hello.
Tom Griswold
Tom just had a weird news story.
Pat Godwin
All right, sir.
Tom Griswold
About the, I think the weirdest sperm races.
Christy Lee
That was weird.
Tom Griswold
You're going to put them under a microscope and project them onto a big screen and people can bet on them.
Pat Godwin
The company called Sperm Racing raised a million dollars to fund the event. It will reportedly involve a microscopic racetrack where sperm motility is tracked in real time offering, it says here, quote, a full sporting experience. Can you bet with commentary and betting.
Tom Griswold
Oh, so it's kind of like the Kentucky Derby. I wonder if there's like a Triple Crown. I'm not sure what the second would be. I guess it would be the prickness they'd have.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Reno Collier
Okay.
Pat Godwin
So sorry.
Tom Griswold
That is, is so weird. It's weird. You see strange semen and worms and the, the jockeys are very, very small.
Pat Godwin
Who knows what's going on between Bill Belichick and his girlfriend. Possibly they're in love. You don't know.
Tom Griswold
None of my business.
Pat Godwin
None of my business.
Christy Lee
I'm sure it is.
Pat Godwin
Every, every time I see pictures, they seem happy.
Chick McGee
They do look happy.
Pat Godwin
And Bill and Jordan Hudson, that's her name, has announced she will be competing for Ms. Maine USA. 2025 banger, I would imagine.
Tom Griswold
I hope so.
Christy Lee
Bill is. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
The 24 year old Maine native shared the news on Instagram saying that she will represent her hometown of. Tom, did you notice this before you.
Tom Griswold
I'm sorry, what's that now?
Pat Godwin
Her hometown of Hancock in the pageant. She is dating Bill Belichick. They've been together for two years.
Chick McGee
Two years.
Jeff Oskay
So she Miss Hancock right now?
Pat Godwin
I think so. Or she actually is Ms. Maine.
Tom Griswold
I know she's going to go for the title of Miss Maine.
Pat Godwin
She's trying for the title.
Tom Griswold
If you had asked me a couple years ago, who's going to have the hottest girlfriend, Tom Brady or Bill Belichick, I would, I would have taken the over on Brady, but no, good for him.
Christy Lee
Good for him.
Tom Griswold
That's something you know her talent portion is going to do.
Christy Lee
I have a good idea.
Pat Godwin
Please, Tom, tell me she's going to.
Tom Griswold
Be calling the place for the offense Sending him in. You see?
Christy Lee
No.
Pat Godwin
What's his face? Josh McDaniels is back, isn't he? Him? They're good. They got the band back together. Very cool.
Tom Griswold
All right.
Pat Godwin
The world's. Oh, this is one of these. Okay. Stupid world record. The world's oldest gorilla in captivity has just celebrated her 68th birthday.
Christy Lee
Aw.
Pat Godwin
The gorilla named Fatou.
Tom Griswold
What a terrible name for a gorilla.
Pat Godwin
F A T O U Fatou. One word.
Tom Griswold
Do I look fat in this jungle?
Chick McGee
Am I fat, too?
Tom Griswold
That's a terrible name.
Pat Godwin
Does this dress make me look fat? No, your weight makes you.
Tom Griswold
They don't even know how old she really is. She may be.
Christy Lee
Oh, they can't cut her leg off and count the rings, can they?
Tom Griswold
That's ridiculous. Christy, with the rim shot, they cut their arm.
Pat Godwin
No, she marked the occasion. At the Berlin Zoo in Germany, where she's lived since 1959, Fatou has far outlived the typical lifespan of a western lowland gorilla, which is estimated to be between 40 and 50 years since Fatu was born in the wild. Isn't that something? Her exact birthday is not known as a birthday treat. Fatou was presented with vegetables, leaves, fruit, and her favorite strawberries series. Oh, okay.
Tom Griswold
I just went to the website. What's kind of funny about this?
Pat Godwin
There's got to be an online camera.
Tom Griswold
We can watch the picture of a Fatu when they first got her. They're all in black and white because it was in the 50s when they. When they captured little Fatu. Little gorilla, so sweet looking. And now a little bit of gray on the face, of course.
Pat Godwin
Oh, is that. Oh, like. Like puppy dogs, I guess, right? Yeah, they get a gray fate.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. On this video it looks like, wow, she's so old, she can barely heave her feces at the patrons of the zoo. Poor thing.
Pat Godwin
Is that right? She's too old to throw her poop. Jeff, what's happening?
Jeff Oskay
Poor girl.
Tom Griswold
I understand her favorite show, Gunsmoke. She likes the old.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, she watches that. That local TV channel. Me, tv Memory Entertainment.
Tom Griswold
Good for her. That's. That's. Is that sports?
Pat Godwin
That is sports, Tom.
Tom Griswold
Thank you very much, Chick Magee. Now we turn to Christy Lee. You'll see, you can see her over there. She is at the Silac Insurance news desk. Don't you have a song for us, Pat, based on one of these news? Have you guys collab? You've collaborated and it's a Beatle tribute.
Chick McGee
So you're really going to dig it.
Christy Lee
A park in England has banned barbecues after locals Claimed partygoers were defecating in the bushes. The Camden Council will no longer allow barbecues in Waterlow park in Highgate in England, due to parties gathering in hot weather and disturbing other users.
Pat Godwin
Don't you think? Don't you feel like something like that is. It has to be in America. That seems like an American thing.
Christy Lee
Doesn't seem like an English thing.
Pat Godwin
No.
Tom Griswold
Barbecuing doesn't seem particularly English.
Pat Godwin
Right.
Reno Collier
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
First we get a big pot of water, boil it. I was gonna put the filet mignon in the water, boil all the taste out of it, and then put ketchup on it. It's a barbecue.
Pat Godwin
We call them a boiler queue. Hi.
Kostaki Economopoulos
All right.
Pat Godwin
Let's have a boiler queue.
Christy Lee
The band follows a petition by residents who claimed crowds of revelers would play loud music, start fights, litter and poop in the bushes.
Tom Griswold
What's that? Why don't they get a couple portalets and grow up?
Christy Lee
Right?
Pat Godwin
It's a park, you know, when they start fights, they don't say, like, hey, something like, you know how things get out of hand. Somebody will drop. They say oi.
Tom Griswold
Not an AC DC thing.
Chick McGee
English, Australian.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Why they say oi in England? I know. ACDC does it. Maybe that's where they've got it.
Tom Griswold
Could be. Now, what's your philosophy? If you're at a barbecue and you all sudden, you have to defecate you.
Pat Godwin
Right in the bushes?
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Pat Godwin
And I should thank the lucky stars for me. I don't climb up on the barbecue.
Tom Griswold
I say, time to poop. Time to leave. Party's over. This guy's leaving.
Pat Godwin
Have you guys ever been to a public park or some, like, lake or whatever, and they haven't the barbecues existing right there? And of course, concrete in the ground all the time. Yeah. I never trust those. You don't know what's going on before.
Tom Griswold
Well, so what? By the time you bring them up to temperature, you're going to be okay.
Pat Godwin
Ah, there's something going on with you. Thanks. There's something going on there.
Tom Griswold
Really?
Jeff Oskay
What I have used, I put down a foil. Tin foil.
Pat Godwin
Oh, okay. Yeah. Because I don't trust that a lot of times you can't. You can't scrub that off the gr.
Tom Griswold
And then what are the molecules coming off the foil? What do they give you again? Which kind of.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, cancer.
Tom Griswold
Okay, good. Pat, you got a song about barbecuing outside?
Chick McGee
You want to hear?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that's why I'm stalling.
Chick McGee
Here we go, baby. Little Beatles. Beatles tribute.
Pat Godwin
Here it comes.
Chick McGee
At the park, there are the people that behave themselves. Then there are others who are drunk, get loud and fight. Keep the neighbors up all night. It's a sorry sight. In the bushes is a drunkard who just defecates with his pants down to his knees. You see his crack and the wanker doesn't cover his tracks. He just leaves it there, fouls the air. Poop on bush and barbecues will get you fine. They ban the barbecue for all time, you twit. No coming back. Pooping bush. We see a tush and that ain't right. Very nice there. Right by the bush you crapped at night. Pooping bush.
Tom Griswold
Wow.
Chick McGee
Thank you very much on behalf of the group. I hope to pass the audition.
Tom Griswold
I thought it was going to be for the benefit of Mr. Shite.
Chick McGee
That's not bad.
Pat Godwin
A little bit of a. That's very funny.
Tom Griswold
A little bit of a tribute. Thank you very much, Pat. If you're just joining us. Lucky you. You got here just in time. We are coming to you from the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios here on the Bob and Tom program. It's great to hear you and see you. If you want to get a hold of us.
Pat Godwin
No, no. They can hear us and see us. We can't hear them and see them.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, fully aware of that. Okay.
Pat Godwin
Well, if somebody might be showering right now, the radio's on or whatever, they're listening to their smart speaker and they think we can see them. You don't want to start this kind of rumor.
Tom Griswold
Tom, didn't you used to think that when you were a kid?
Christy Lee
What? That people could see you showering if.
Pat Godwin
There was a. Yeah. I don't know why. If that explains anything about my chosen profession. But, yeah, I. Sounds coming out of nowhere intrigued me greatly. Yes. And I thought, yeah, if I can.
Tom Griswold
Hear them, they can hear me.
Pat Godwin
Right.
Christy Lee
People could see you on TV because you could see them.
Pat Godwin
Maybe.
Jeff Oskay
I used to go up to the tv. Like, if there was like, a lady who had, like, a little cleavage, I would try to get close to the TV to look down it so you could see a little further down. That didn't work.
Pat Godwin
That is a sad state of affairs.
Jeff Oskay
Yesterday.
Tom Griswold
In the future. In the future, you realize that will be possible.
Pat Godwin
Oh, I thought you meant it was.
Tom Griswold
That is gonna happen.
Pat Godwin
So even today, are you a boob guy or a leg guy or.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, I like them all.
Pat Godwin
You like? I like it all.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
All right.
Jeff Oskay
I love everything the ladies are bringing to the table.
Tom Griswold
Really.
Jeff Oskay
Like the legs, the butt. I like the breasts the tummy.
Tom Griswold
Have you played. Have you played that game? It's where you have to put things in order and you have to guess the order. You pull out cards that have. Not just the cards that have things on them, and you have to put them in order of what you think.
Christy Lee
It's like a board game.
Pat Godwin
Historical events?
Tom Griswold
No, no, no. It'd be. It'll say, like, you know, chocolate pudding. Golf. Golf. Just random stuff. And then you have to figure out what the other person or what order they would put those things in that they would want to do. Oh.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, no.
Tom Griswold
It's really fun. I'll have to bring it in. It's kind of hard.
Pat Godwin
We should play that.
Tom Griswold
You'd be going, okay, in Pat's case, what would be number one? And then you try to guess his preferences. So I'm trying to.
Jeff Oskay
I'm gonna say, but I like a butt.
Pat Godwin
Number one for Pat would be doing shots.
Chick McGee
The eyes.
Tom Griswold
Oh, so in the realm of. In the. In the realm of romance, then, Jeffrey. So you just said you like. You like them all. What would your order be?
Pat Godwin
I'm the same way. I like a beautiful eyes, wonderful personality, and a killer ass. Yeah, yeah.
Tom Griswold
So, Jeffrey, what would your order be?
Jeff Oskay
Probably legs, butt, boobs.
Tom Griswold
In descending order.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, like, legs are my favorite. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Jeff Oskay
I've been seeing those for a while.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Where does consensual fit into that?
Christy Lee
That's not part of the game.
Tom Griswold
Oh, sorry. You're playing the game wrong. Once again.
Chick McGee
This isn't to get us in trouble.
Pat Godwin
All of your comments wrap it up in sexual assault. Why is that?
Tom Griswold
Sorry.
Pat Godwin
Stop it.
Jeff Oskay
I like a good upskirt. Doesn't everybody enjoy that?
Christy Lee
I don't walk around upskirting women. What?
Jeff Oskay
Well, no, like, if she gives you a little, like, show, I'll take. I'll take the view. I'm not like, laying on the ground waiting for him to walk past.
Pat Godwin
Watch Tom's face. What about the. The shoe dangle? You like the shoe dangle?
Jeff Oskay
Oh, love the shoe dangle.
Christy Lee
Do you really?
Tom Griswold
Is that where you have the camera on your shoe? Yes.
Pat Godwin
Oh, there's a lady. You know, they're. They are lost thought. Possibly at a restaurant or whatever. They have their legs crossed and they have their shoe starts to dangle and you can see their foot.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, this is.
Pat Godwin
This is number. I bet this is top three of turn ons for guys.
Christy Lee
Really?
Pat Godwin
In the world. In the world.
Christy Lee
That's interesting.
Tom Griswold
That's true. What?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, well, now I know that you. Your number one turn on is when the contract is signed and you're going to be able to make a baby with this person. I know that. Now, we can get down to business now. So let's start the sperm races.
Tom Griswold
The shoe dangle.
Pat Godwin
The shoe dangle.
Jeff Oskay
That's interesting.
Christy Lee
I did not.
Jeff Oskay
There was a girl in my English class that sat catty corner and did the shoe dangle. I failed that class because of the shoe dangle.
Tom Griswold
So in other words, does she take the shoe mostly off and then whips it around?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, it's just kind of like hanging off the toe.
Pat Godwin
She doesn't touch it with her hands.
Christy Lee
She's just kicking it off with her foot while she's.
Tom Griswold
So. So the story in your head is this is just the beginning of her shedding all of her clothing.
Pat Godwin
There's no story in your head, John Ford. No, it's just.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Pat Godwin
It just happens to be what's going on.
Christy Lee
Okay. I'm trying to show him. This is kind of what a shoe day. Can you see that?
Tom Griswold
Okay, I got you.
Christy Lee
You get it?
Tom Griswold
Oh, I see. Yeah. And when she's kind of pumping it. Okay, yeah. Heel ramming.
Pat Godwin
When she's kind of pumping.
Tom Griswold
Ramming. Ramming with a certain rhythm.
Christy Lee
That's Carol Alt. She's a famous model doing that.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah, that is her.
Tom Griswold
When you're making a barbecue, I know you like to wear the big chef's hat. You ever take that into the bushes, just poop right in that like you're a dog. And then tie it off and throw it in a garbage can?
Chick McGee
Yes, I have. Of course I have.
Jeff Oskay
Speaking of which, I took my dogs for a walk yesterday. My one dog. Four times on the walk.
Tom Griswold
How many bags did you have?
Jeff Oskay
Luckily, I have, like the dispenser, but. But after a while, it was almost like she was trying to prove a point. Like she was like, no, you're my bitch. Like, you will carry the pooh. Four on one walk.
Tom Griswold
Wow. Yeah, I now travel with at least four. I've learned my lesson.
Jeff Oskay
Usually it's a one timer, but.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, you don't want to.
Jeff Oskay
Four times showing me.
Tom Griswold
Well, thank you very much for joining us. Coming up, Christy Lee over there at the Silac Insurance news desk. What's up next?
Christy Lee
Well, we have human bones being sold in a curio store.
Pat Godwin
Oh, them bones. Them.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Christy Lee
We also have marijuana in the news. Giant rodent cuddling. We'll have that coming up.
Pat Godwin
Giant rodent cuddling.
Christy Lee
Tom, are you interested?
Pat Godwin
I am not.
Tom Griswold
Okay, well, we'll find it. We'll find out. Also, we have a new gum.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
That may prevent herpes and the flu. So we'll find out what that's all about. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios, and this is the Bob and Tom Show.

Christy Lee
Hello.
Pat Godwin
This has been Chick McGee speaking. And now here's Tom.
Tom Griswold
Thank you very much. There we go. I'm sorry.
Pat Godwin
See, once again, if you just paid attention, you really killed.
Tom Griswold
I listen hot calling the kettle black. Oh, I'm sorry. We have Christy Lee. She's over there at the Silac Insurance news desk. And coming up, by the way, comedian Kostaki Kanamopoulos. Christy, what do you got?
Christy Lee
Authorities in Florida arrested a woman accused of selling human bones in an Orange City curio store.
Pat Godwin
Hey, you want to buy an ulna?
Christy Lee
Police and an affidavit complaint about the store known as Wicked Wonderland, advertising human remains on social media.
Pat Godwin
Remember that? Do you remember, Tom, when that was like hip, hip language to say wicked? That's wicked, man.
Tom Griswold
That's a very Boston thing.
Christy Lee
Is it?
Pat Godwin
Well, right now it is, but like smart. I want to say 60, early 6, right? In the 60s, a lot of wicked going on.
Tom Griswold
You had wicked Pickett, that is Wilson.
Pat Godwin
Wicked Wilson Pickett. That's right. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Anyway, this woman investigators found was selling a variety of parts, including a human clavicle and scapula. What would that set you back? Oh, 300 bucks, $90 human rib, 35 bucks.
Tom Griswold
I just want to say these are gently used human bones. Yeah, but don't you love that they're for just gently used.
Pat Godwin
They're for display purposes only. I don't think you can, like, use them for transplants or anything, can you?
Christy Lee
I Don't think so.
Pat Godwin
I don't think so.
Tom Griswold
I give him a marrow.
Christy Lee
Yeah. No.
Pat Godwin
Oh. Vic Merrow.
Christy Lee
A partial human skull was going for 600 bucks.
Tom Griswold
So is it not legal to have these things?
Christy Lee
I guess not.
Tom Griswold
I mean, use of corpse.
Christy Lee
The business's owners allegedly told officers they had been selling human bones for years and were unaware it was illegal to do so in Florida.
Pat Godwin
Stupid was an excuse to get out of the law.
Tom Griswold
Were they selling him or was it rent to bones? Thank you. I'm here. Always.
Pat Godwin
Very nice.
Christy Lee
WKMG reports the store's primary owner, Kimberly Shooper, was arrested on charge of trading in human tissue.
Pat Godwin
Super duper. Why?
Tom Griswold
She probably had no idea. I wouldn't have known that.
Christy Lee
That's what she says. She didn't know.
Jeff Oskay
Where's she getting them?
Christy Lee
That's a great question.
Tom Griswold
Well, I'm watching a thing on. Yeah, Hulu. I know where you can get 10,000 of them.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, they're at U of I. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Yeah, they're right.
Tom Griswold
That's. That's a crazy thing. It's. It's. I'm trying to think. It's on Hulu.
Christy Lee
I think Fox Hollow Murders.
Tom Griswold
Fox Hollow Murders. Wow.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. That is.
Pat Godwin
Is it Fox Hollow or Fox Glove or what?
Christy Lee
Fox Hollow.
Pat Godwin
Fox Hollow. Okay.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Yeah, that's creepy.
Christy Lee
Creepy. Creepy.
Tom Griswold
And how did. I couldn't. How did all the bones get burned? Was they just. Was the guy just burning bodies in the backyard?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, I think so.
Christy Lee
Yeah. You know, you got to get rid of them.
Tom Griswold
But, I mean, don't you need a massive fire to burn a bonnet out in the country?
Jeff Oskay
You make a bonfire.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
You get a fire. Pretty hot there at home to.
Jeff Oskay
Those burn barrels do away with any.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I remember we used to. Well, you're too young.
Tom Griswold
Burn barrels. Burn barrels everywhere.
Christy Lee
Didn't you have a burn trash? A burn barrel?
Jeff Oskay
I still burn my trash.
Christy Lee
You burn your trash, do you?
Jeff Oskay
I burn like all my cardboards and stuff. Are you.
Pat Godwin
Do you live in this county?
Christy Lee
How do you allow.
Jeff Oskay
Maybe not. It doesn't matter how I do it. I got a bird barrel. Barrel. And I bet you.
Tom Griswold
Now do you like to get. When you throw the plastic in, you like to get by the. The barrel and huff. Yes.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. The blacker the smoke, the higher you get.
Pat Godwin
You know what? I think everybody in this room right now, with the exception of Tom, has probably spent some time. More than one. More than one evening next to a bonfire.
Christy Lee
Absolutely.
Pat Godwin
Am I right? I'm guessing you have never been.
Tom Griswold
Of course.
Kostaki Economopoulos
How.
Tom Griswold
I'm the. I'm the only one that has an outdoor fireplace in this room.
Jeff Oskay
He likes to do some more bonfire.
Pat Godwin
That's not a bond. An outdoor fireplace is not bonfire.
Chick McGee
That's outdoor.
Pat Godwin
That's a hoity toity circular.
Tom Griswold
I'll have you know I have had a beach fire at Five Mile Creek, a little Traverse Bay, Michigan, followed. Followed by perhaps some skinny dipping. That's right.
Pat Godwin
Well, did you get a little mud for the turtle?
Tom Griswold
Gentlemen would never discuss such things. There's, as far as I know, not a lot of turtles in Harbor Springs. Maybe they didn't.
Pat Godwin
There's somebody at the back door. Hello.
Tom Griswold
Oh, open the door and let them in.
Jeff Oskay
Can I ask this, Tom, does your outdoor fireplace have a chimney?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, of course.
Christy Lee
It'S not a fireplace.
Pat Godwin
Other than the roof, I'm guessing there's no difference between. Between sitting inside your house or sitting outside your house.
Christy Lee
That is not a fire pit if it has a chair.
Pat Godwin
I didn't say it's a fight.
Tom Griswold
It's a fireplace.
Pat Godwin
The furniture you have outside is my inside.
Tom Griswold
Better at my. At my old house, I had a fireplace in the backyard away from the house with a little chimney on it.
Pat Godwin
You should be ashamed of yourself.
Chick McGee
Success.
Christy Lee
I bet your parents never burned their trash either, did they?
Tom Griswold
It was illegal in Shaker Heights.
Christy Lee
Of course.
Tom Griswold
They have standards, you know.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
How that goes.
Pat Godwin
What about now?
Christy Lee
Never had a burn barrel.
Tom Griswold
No. What is that? Well, what do you see?
Chick McGee
Old barrel, you burn.
Pat Godwin
What do you think it is? I believe everybody had it.
Christy Lee
Everyone had all of them.
Jeff Oskay
You know those 50 gallon barrels? You take one of those and you drill a bunch of holes at the bottom of it.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
And you set it on.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Don't you guys have garbage collection?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, but I only have.
Pat Godwin
We didn't.
Jeff Oskay
We got like five people in my house. We didn't burn for like two hours yesterday.
Tom Griswold
Don't you recycle your cardboard?
Jeff Oskay
No, I burn it. I recycle it to the air, the universe. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I send my cardboard.
Pat Godwin
What I do on the weekend when we go to swim at the lake. I just dump it in the lake. 1, 2, 3.
Jeff Oskay
Much quicker.
Pat Godwin
It's cleaner too. You don't have to worry about smoke.
Christy Lee
Still burn your trash?
Tom Griswold
Yeah. So you're saying you could burn a bunch yesterday, you could throw a body on top of the cardboard and it would. It would cremate it.
Pat Godwin
Maybe that's the way the Vikings.
Jeff Oskay
I mean, I wouldn't do a whole body. I'd put it in pieces.
Christy Lee
Are you burning sticks too?
Jeff Oskay
Oh, yeah, I burn about so did.
Tom Griswold
That guy that burned all those bodies, did he burn them in pieces?
Pat Godwin
I would guess I've said this a lot, but I've never meant it more. Can we talk about anything else?
Tom Griswold
It's on tv. Christy, what else you got over there?
Christy Lee
Well, we talked about turtle. Did we talk about turtles?
Pat Godwin
Are you saying turtles or turtles?
Christy Lee
Turtles.
Tom Griswold
Turtles.
Christy Lee
A beloved pet tortoise has been reunited with its family weeks after disappearing in a Mississippi tornado. The Emanuel family fled their home in the rural Kokomo area as a tornado hit March 15.
Tom Griswold
There's a Kokomo, Mississippi.
Pat Godwin
Apparently, there's a turtle that disappeared. Yes, in the hurricane. It's a tornado.
Christy Lee
They returned to find two pine trees had fallen on top of their tortoises backyard home, and their tortoise named Myrtle, had gone missing.
Pat Godwin
Myrtle the turtle.
Christy Lee
Weeks later, a neighbor found the injured reptile.
Tom Griswold
You know, they found him where? Shell Station.
Chick McGee
Pretty good.
Pat Godwin
Pretty good.
Christy Lee
Myrtle the turtle was taken to Central Mississippi turtle rescue and is now back at home recovering from the ordeal.
Tom Griswold
That's got to be.
Pat Godwin
Hello?
Tom Griswold
That's got to be hotline.
Pat Godwin
You want to grab that, Chauncey? Yeah, yeah. Central Mississippi turtle rescue.
Tom Griswold
First. First time the phone's gone off in six years.
Pat Godwin
Once a day the phone rings and somebody goes, what the hell is that?
Tom Griswold
That's sweet.
Jeff Oskay
How do they know it's that, like, if I put five tortoises in a row, the shell game, and mixed them up, would you be able to know which tortoise was which?
Pat Godwin
No.
Christy Lee
Well, of course.
Tom Griswold
Sounds like a video. Sounds like a new video game.
Pat Godwin
Can't you. Can't you pick your dog out of a bunch of dogs?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, a dog. This is a tortoise.
Pat Godwin
Well, I would imagine it's the same.
Tom Griswold
Probably has markings on the shell. I would think, like seven or eight.
Pat Godwin
Golden retrievers across the road, I could pick misses out. One, two, three.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Pat Godwin
Couldn't you pick your dog out?
Christy Lee
There are a couple doodles at the day camp that look just like mine that I'm like, I think. Think that might be my dog, Tom.
Pat Godwin
You know what I'm saying? You pick your dog out? Of course.
Christy Lee
Of course. Well, I know because they'd run up to me, but if they were in a room, just. I'd be like, right. Like to trade one. No, we're coming up. We have rodent hugging. We have marijuana in the news. We have the chewing gum that could reduce the flu or maybe even herpes. Would you chew it?
Tom Griswold
Just. Did you chew it a little bit and put it over your.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Is it like a. Remember the story we had years ago about a spray on condom?
Christy Lee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Did that ever take off? Yeah, yeah.
Jeff Oskay
It's called flex seal.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
It'll work.
Tom Griswold
Just don't put it on to get off. Don't put it on too early.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
We'll discover all of these things. Also coming up, comedian Kostaki Economopoulos. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Thanks for listening to the Bob and.
Tom Griswold
Tom show this morning.
Chick McGee
Catch any part of the show you.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Missed later Today on our YouTube channel.
Tom Griswold
It's part sports. We have football on the brain, part pop culture. Dennis Leary, True or false.
Jeff Oskay
You refuse to wear a glove with.
Chick McGee
Mickey Mantle's signature on it for the movie the Sandlot.
Tom Griswold
Red Sox blood, the Bruins blood, they run deep.
Chick McGee
Add in the best celebrity interview.
Tom Griswold
Robert De Niro here on the Rich Eisen Show. How are you, sir?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Just got over a 24 hour virus.
Tom Griswold
The antidote is to appear on the Rich Eisen Show.
Christy Lee
There you go.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I would have done it earlier.
Tom Griswold
And you've got the Rich Eisen show podcast. There is a medicinal quality to appearing on this program.
Chick McGee
Follow and listen on your favorite platform.
Pat Godwin
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. Christy Lee at the Silac Insurance news desk. Hi, there's Pat Godwin. Hey, Chick, we had a dynamite song out of you. You already.
Christy Lee
Well, that we did.
Pat Godwin
Maybe we should have another.
Chick McGee
They're all dynamite.
Pat Godwin
That's right.
Chick McGee
Even cow dung soap.
Pat Godwin
There's Jeff Osk. This has been Chick McGee speaking. And Tom, we have a special guest in the studio.
Tom Griswold
We certainly do. He is comedian Kostaki Economopoulos. Kostaki, it's always a great pleasure to see. I know you've been on the road. And coming up, by the way, Kostaki is going to be at the famous Keller's Magic and Comedy Club in Erie, Pennsylvania. That's coming up in late May.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yes.
Tom Griswold
You got some time off? Do you kiss talkie?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah. I'm going to go. I'm going to go to the draft with my brother in Green Bay in a week and a half.
Tom Griswold
The end. We may make it clear this is the NFL draft.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yes.
Christy Lee
Oh, he's going to sign up for the Air Force.
Tom Griswold
I don't know.
Christy Lee
They brought the draft. I hear that a lot of things are happening.
Tom Griswold
I've heard that Greenland is looking for a few good men.
Pat Godwin
You remember, you remember when they first started doing this? Not that long ago. Now the draft they take bids on. If you'd like your city to host the draft. Just as if the NFL couldn't be more popular now. Cities.
Tom Griswold
We get the draft this year, it's.
Christy Lee
Going to be in Green Bay.
Pat Godwin
It's awesome.
Christy Lee
I'm surprised my husband's not you.
Pat Godwin
I bet he wanted to go, but I did not. Here's how the conversation went. Lady Killjoy in the role of Christie's husband, Chick McGee. Thank you for. Oh, hey, Steve. How's it going? Yeah, I heard the draft's gonna be at Lambo.
Tom Griswold
Hey, we're going, we're going. Andy, what do you think we got. We've rented a nice van with leather seats and a couple of hookers.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, I can't go.
Tom Griswold
Why can't you go?
Pat Godwin
She won't let me out of the house.
Tom Griswold
All of our buds from my school are gone, Steve.
Pat Godwin
It's constant.
Christy Lee
It's constant.
Pat Godwin
Her mouth runs 24 hours a day.
Tom Griswold
What do you have? Do you have a safe word?
Pat Godwin
I call her CNN. She's on 24 hours a day. Oh, my gosh. She's like a lighthouse. Never goes off, I'm telling you.
Tom Griswold
Come on, say the safe word. Economopoulos joins us, a single man. Kostaki, I understand that you are going to be doing a couple of cruises this summer. Pat Godwin is a veteran of the cruise ship comedy rooms. You know which vessels you're going to be on?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, I'm doing the Norwegian Bliss.
Chick McGee
Very nice.
Tom Griswold
Are you going to. Oh, and you know Alaska, which.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's Alaska. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Oh, nice.
Pat Godwin
You have to speak Norwegian when you're on the Norwegian cruise. Yeah. Oh, do your best.
Tom Griswold
Or Norwegian accent.
Pat Godwin
Hey, anybody celebrating anything that's Swedish.
Chick McGee
Yeah, you have to talk.
Pat Godwin
No, it's Norwegian.
Tom Griswold
Okay. We were just talking about other cruise ships of the day, and apparently the Alaska cruise, the. The guys that have done all the cruise ships in comedy, they all say the Alaska cruise is the best. Right, Pat?
Chick McGee
I agree. God's country. It's beautiful.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I like it.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's not only is it a beautiful place to go, but it's. It's the same time zone that I live in, which is nice.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
And because it's Alaska, not the Caribbean, 93 of the audience are Americans. You can do the football joke.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
The other touchstone jokes.
Tom Griswold
And the wi Fi works.
Kostaki Economopoulos
We do the Caribbean. There's a lot of non native English speakers come from all over the world.
Tom Griswold
For sure.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's a trickier beast, so. And also the ships now are a lot more comedy friendly than they used to be. There's usually a place that has comedy and there's a little bit of self selection on the ship, so they're not the force to see you, which is nicer. You know, per capita, they're a much better craft than they used to be.
Tom Griswold
They actually want to be there.
Chick McGee
Oh, they do.
Kostaki Economopoulos
And of course, the old guys on a ship now grew up listening to Carlin, so it's a different cohort than it used to be.
Tom Griswold
True.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's a much better experience for comics.
Tom Griswold
Now, for those that are not familiar with you, you are more or less freshly divorced. Yeah. A single man. Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I think if you get. I think if you get divorced, you should have a ceremony.
Jeff Oskay
Right.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's as big a marker in your life as the wedding. Have a big party, invite everybody back who's at the wedding and return the gifts they gave you.
Tom Griswold
Well, you have half of them.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
At best.
Kostaki Economopoulos
We appreciate your optimism. Turns out it was unfounded.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Here's your toaster.
Chick McGee
We gave it a shot. Here's your toaster back, Steve.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Thanks for the plates. I know we started with 10, but some things went down seven and a half plates.
Pat Godwin
Steve, have you ever had anything thrown at you?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Have you ever thrown a plate?
Tom Griswold
No.
Christy Lee
No.
Tom Griswold
Are you sure?
Pat Godwin
Like, punched a wall, put a hole in the wall? Sure. No, I find that difficult to believe. I've almost punched the wall here. And I don't love you romantically.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Jeff Oskay
I had an ex punch a hole through my glass front door when I wouldn't let her in.
Tom Griswold
Oh.
Jeff Oskay
With her fist.
Christy Lee
She went to the hospital. I bet.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I punched. I punched a whole wall in an apartment. Oh, yeah. Luckily, I. I landed between the studs, but, yeah, absolutely.
Tom Griswold
Good.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
There goes that damage deposit.
Pat Godwin
Right.
Tom Griswold
Because Stock, you don't strike me as the guy that would be punching walls.
Kostaki Economopoulos
No, I've not punched any wall.
Tom Griswold
So.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I get pissed, though, you know?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, you raise your voice.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, yeah. Yeah. My wife was, you know, you met her. She's Italian and loud and challenging.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I mean, she's also romantic and beautiful and great. But, you know, there was a side where you're just like, oh, my goodness. I remember we talked about this before. I was surprised. You never had the experience of a woman standing on the bed screaming at you.
Tom Griswold
Oh, no.
Christy Lee
Standing on the map.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah, absolutely.
Chick McGee
Dumping a beer in my head.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Are you.
Pat Godwin
Are you.
Tom Griswold
Were you. Had you been sleeping and you wake up?
Pat Godwin
I've had someone yell at me. And as she's yelling, she's hitting the wall for emphasis. What the hell do you think you're doing? Oh, of course. That's passion, baby.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's what that is.
Chick McGee
That's fire.
Tom Griswold
So you're. You're in bed.
Jeff Oskay
That's the spin.
Tom Griswold
You're in bed looking up.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, no, I'm standing in the other part of the room.
Christy Lee
Oh, and she's standing on the bed to get right. I get it.
Pat Godwin
I know nothing of what happened, but can you imagine arguing with Kostaki? And you're like, I'm gonna.
Tom Griswold
I don't know.
Pat Godwin
I don't know what you're talking about. Is there a problem?
Tom Griswold
I appreciate you standing in the bed. Could you go slightly to the left? Sports center's on, and I can't.
Pat Godwin
I really have. I have a poker game coming up.
Christy Lee
Are you a yellow?
Pat Godwin
Me?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I've yelled.
Christy Lee
Have you?
Pat Godwin
I can yell.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Pat Godwin
It's been a while. Quite a while.
Kostaki Economopoulos
But I. Yeah, that's what's nice about being single. No yelling.
Pat Godwin
No. Yeah, well, I'm not a yeller.
Tom Griswold
I get to sleep. Let me ask you this. In all truth, yesterday I was. I was watching the Masters, and when Rory won, I jumped, just not very self consciously jumped up and went, yay.
Pat Godwin
You did?
Tom Griswold
Yeah. I was so excited.
Pat Godwin
Really?
Tom Griswold
Did you. You. When you. Because you're such a football fan, do you start screaming at the tv?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, I'm into it. Yeah.
Christy Lee
You talk to the TV like, hey, what'd you do with that? Yes.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yes, I do.
Christy Lee
Andy does that.
Pat Godwin
Yes, I did a lot of that. I'm sarcastic a lot. Oh, that's right. Oh, that's a good place for a funnel.
Tom Griswold
Good job.
Christy Lee
That is definitely a guy thing.
Tom Griswold
I'll go.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You want to make.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, run it up. Run it up the middle again. That's not been working all day.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's exactly right.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, go for it.
Christy Lee
That's a guy thing.
Pat Godwin
You make my butt want a cigarette.
Tom Griswold
Speaking of butts.
Pat Godwin
Yes?
Tom Griswold
I was trying to find the news story about the spray on condoms, which we had. It was a couple years ago.
Christy Lee
Oh, it's been a longer. Yeah, it's been a long time.
Tom Griswold
I did land on this one. Did you know that there's a company that sells us. The CBD is real popular now. You can get CBD suppositories with 50mg of THC. Is it pronounced cannabidinol?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Isn't the whole point to relax? It's nothing. There's nothing relaxing.
Christy Lee
60 milligrams.
Tom Griswold
See, the one thing I don't want. Relaxing is my sphincter.
Christy Lee
That sounds like a lot, doesn't it? 50 milligrams.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
A ten pack is $60. Wow. They claim this allows the body to absorb more cbd. Wow.
Christy Lee
All right, whatever. Whatever floats your butt.
Tom Griswold
Maybe.
Pat Godwin
I don't think that's the way that goes.
Tom Griswold
Or if you're. If you're. If your brown eye has glaucoma, you can. Yeah, I don't want to have my as relaxed. Wow.
Christy Lee
Speaking of medical things, here's something you don't want to give your mom for Mother's Day. The so called jade egg for her vagina. A gynecologist has criticized Gwyneth Paltrow for recommending women put jade eggs in their vaginas. Of course, GOOP advised women to place these eggs there to boost orgasms, increase vaginal muscle tone, hormonal balance, and feminine energy in general. They were going for $66 on her website. But of course, our favorite California gynecologist. We all know who we're going to talk about, right? Dr. Jen Gunter from Kaiser Permanente penned an article lambasting the actress and calling the idea a big load of garbage. She also criticized GOOP for promoting, you'll recall, back in the day, vaginal steaming, making a claim that wearing bras is linked to cancer. I mean, they've got a lot of stuff going on over there. Dr. Gunter stated that the jade egg could allow bacteria to get inside your vajayjay and cause bacterial vaginosis or even toxic shock syndrome, a life threatening complication.
Tom Griswold
You got enough eggs in there, you don't need to add a big jade one. Are they made of jade?
Christy Lee
Allegedly. But that in itself is not good because isn't jade one of those? What is that? What is jade? A mineral? A mineral.
Pat Godwin
It's. It's a jewel, isn't it? Is it a jewel? Oh, it's a mat. It's a. They make it in the lab. It's metal.
Christy Lee
It's a lab created jade.
Pat Godwin
It's a partially soft metal, but I.
Christy Lee
Always thought that that was endangered or not.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, yeah. That's why I only use the elephant tusk eggs.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Speaking of which, I. I don't know. I'm still trying to find the condom thing, and I bumped into this story from the New York Post. Couples are using cannabis to boost their sex lives, with ladies placing vaginal suppositories in the old mommy parts. Yeah, you know, many claim it, I'm quoting here, it relaxes the vaginal muscles While provoked. While promoting. Excuse me. Warmth and comfort.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Anybody ever. Reefer and the Queefer.
Pat Godwin
All right. Okay.
Tom Griswold
I would think that. I would think the joint would get all wet.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, I've smoked a blunt before.
Tom Griswold
But first, a poem. Thank you very much. Oh, right now I want to talk about the latest in coffee, the coffee revolution. It's not just coffee, Tom. It's tea and sports drinks, etc.
Pat Godwin
Did you just talk to yourself?
Christy Lee
Yeah, I did.
Pat Godwin
It's not just coffee, Tom.
Tom Griswold
I was correcting myself. It's Java House. This portion of the Bob and Tom show sponsored by Java House, the official coffee of the Bob and Tom show. And I'll amend that. The official source of refreshments for the Bob and Tom show in about five seconds. I can make a delicious cup of coffee. I just take one of these pods. I don't have to put it in a machine. This is concentrated coffee, ready to rock. This particular one is the Colombian medium roast. I have not had this one. I am currently drinking the black tea. It's from Java House. You just peel and pour. So big savings in cash. You don't have to hassle with a. With a Keurig machine that probably has more spirochetes in it than bad guy. I don't know. Getting off the ship. The. It's Java House.
Pat Godwin
Christie is up now. Going to make her.
Christy Lee
I am going to make myself the.
Pat Godwin
Mango black right here live as we're talking.
Tom Griswold
She peels, she pours. You're done.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I've got the vanilla latte. Mine's great, by the way.
Christy Lee
Isn't it great?
Tom Griswold
It's a teas, lattes, energy drinks, hydration drinks. Josh's favorite is the hot cocoa. I still want to try that. And by the way, these are all recyclable pods. No puncture, no microplastics in your drink, et cetera. So break up with the brewer. Start at Java House. Go to java house.com, the code word is Bob and Tom to get 25% off that first order. Once again, java house.com. and then the code is Bob and Tom, all one word, 25% off if you use the Bob and Tom code word. Java House. Once again, the official coffee and the official refreshments of the Bob and Tom show. So check it out. It can also revolutionize coffee at your house. You wake up, boom, ready to go. You don't have to sit around and wait for it. Now, coming up in the news, we have actually some interesting marijuana news. We have the gum that may prevent herpes. I'm still wondering how that works. And we have comedian Castakia Kondamopoulos. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Pat Godwin
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. There's Pat Godwin. Hey, chick, got a song coming up here.
Chick McGee
I have a song in my heart for you and all the time.
Pat Godwin
Damn right you do. There's Christy Lee.
Christy Lee
Hi.
Pat Godwin
Kostaki Economopoulos is here.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Biggest name in comedy.
Pat Godwin
I say that right now because I don't trust Tom to pronounce it correctly when it's his turn. There's Jeff. Okay.
Christy Lee
He had some problems last week.
Pat Godwin
Yes, he did.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Occasionally. Will pull a Chris Econom on me.
Tom Griswold
Y. I was just saying. I was just saying if you were.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Don't throw it out there.
Tom Griswold
If you were a gay gentleman and you married the great racing announcer Chris Economist, you could. You could be Kostaki Economopoulos, Economist.
Pat Godwin
Oh, you don't know that you couldn't.
Tom Griswold
Get a driver's license in this great country of ours.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's right.
Pat Godwin
Maybe they would take Economopoulos as our last name.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Thank God the Greeks don't like.
Pat Godwin
Okay, so Chris Economist would be. Chris Economist.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, they're very good. Yeah, I'm still trying. I'm still trying to find the spray on condom story. Geez, I can't find it.
Pat Godwin
But you ever do any of that lamb stuff? Stuff? Lamb Condoms. Right. Aren't they made out of lamb?
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah, I guess.
Pat Godwin
I. Oscar, did you ever do anything yet?
Jeff Oskay
No.
Tom Griswold
Nope.
Kostaki Economopoulos
No, I remember seeing those.
Pat Godwin
If you have a. If you have a latex allergy, you have to use the lamb, right?
Tom Griswold
I mean, is it just. Yes. Random lamb gut.
Chick McGee
Random lamb fine lamb skin.
Pat Godwin
Well, it was either lamb or pig. You could have random lamb or ham.
Christy Lee
All right, here you go, Tommy. I found it. This is. This goes back a ways. The spray on condom apparently packaged by market research group usage. It appears that it's not quite active. What? Oh, I'm sorry.
Pat Godwin
I believe you could find it under Bunko Enterprises.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, this is one of those questionable medical devices.
Christy Lee
Oh, gosh, I remember it was called.
Pat Godwin
I plainly remember there being this idea for spray on condoms, a form of.
Christy Lee
Male contraception that spray liquid latex onto the penis, creating a custom fit barrier. A prototype developed by Krausch is still a hard sell. It involved a hard plastic tube with nozzles that sprayed the liquid latex, offering a potentially natural feel and perfect fit compared to traditional condoms.
Pat Godwin
However, think about it though. You would Have a. But you would have problem at the point of ejaculation.
Jeff Oskay
Right.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Is there a reservoir tip?
Pat Godwin
There would have to be blow up there. It would be a retrograde emission. It would go back up into your body.
Christy Lee
Apparently, this was just a prototype. I don't think it ever went into.
Tom Griswold
I think it was done by the company that if you have a pickup truck and you get the. That you get the bed.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Rhino lining.
Tom Griswold
Rhino linings, Yeah. I think they did it. You get your pickup truck bed. Those are. Rhino linings are fantastic, by the way.
Pat Godwin
It could be a rib, too. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Two to three minutes for the latex to dry, which could be a drawback.
Pat Godwin
Two to three minutes.
Tom Griswold
So wait a second. So you have to be. You have to. The man has to be in the angry position and wait two to three minutes. Spray it on.
Christy Lee
Yes. It was cold, which is another thing.
Tom Griswold
Kostaki. Then you could take it and do some graffiti.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, this is.
Tom Griswold
I'll be back in three minutes. I'm gonna write all this stocky on the side of this bridge.
Jeff Oskay
You could have her blow it dry, right? That'd go quicker. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
That's a good way to. Blowing is.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's the wrong thing.
Christy Lee
While the concept of spray on condoms gained a lot of attention, there have not been any commercially released products yet.
Tom Griswold
I hope they get Johnny Bench to do it if they ever do it.
Pat Godwin
That's right.
Tom Griswold
Remember those?
Pat Godwin
No runs, no drips, nowhere.
Tom Griswold
Johnny Bench famously did that.
Pat Godwin
I forget the Crylon spray paint. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Oh, okay.
Tom Griswold
You know something? In the heat of battle, sometimes I don't have a condom handy.
Pat Godwin
However, I don't think I've ever used a condom. Condom?
Christy Lee
What.
Pat Godwin
What condom? I'm almost certain of it.
Christy Lee
You've never.
Pat Godwin
You've never used a condom?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Christy Lee
In all of your playboy days.
Chick McGee
Don't say that too loud in the air. Oh, I control myself.
Pat Godwin
When's the last time you used a condom, Tom? New York City, 1969. My goodness.
Jeff Oskay
I remember I was going to finally have intimate relations and I was afraid of not. So I, like, got some condoms and, like, put them up. Like, tried putting them on to practice. And, man, if you put those on inside out, it's a weird sensation.
Christy Lee
Really?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. Like, you get the lube on the inside, it's just like a fly off.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, but at least it was. At least it was ribbed for your.
Jeff Oskay
There was no pleasure whatsoever. It was just uncomfortableness.
Tom Griswold
Now, Christy, this is no longer an issue for you. Have you ever heard of.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, no.
Christy Lee
This has got to Be some kind of menopause question.
Tom Griswold
I've gone down.
Pat Godwin
At least you didn't say the phrase advanced age.
Christy Lee
I don't care.
Pat Godwin
That's the only thing.
Tom Griswold
Christie's a woman of a certain age.
Christy Lee
I don't care.
Tom Griswold
You got a lot of experience, so you know what's going on in the world. World.
Christy Lee
Right.
Tom Griswold
I just. I went down the rabbit hole here. There is a cannabis infused. This. I'll read it delicately. Vajayjay insert. Have you ever heard of this?
Christy Lee
No. What's the point of it?
Tom Griswold
It's a cocoa butter based suppository with THC in it.
Pat Godwin
Cocoa butter.
Chick McGee
That'll work.
Christy Lee
What's it supposed to do?
Tom Griswold
It's supposed to block out pain. If there's pain when you have menstrual cramps. Oh, this is interesting. It comes with a case of Haagen Dazs in case you get, you know, the carpet munchies.
Christy Lee
Now you shouldn't be giggling over there. You're gonna have three at once pretty soon before you know it.
Tom Griswold
That's very funny. You're gonna have start talking about bats old girlfriends again, will you?
Pat Godwin
You might want to start the bidding for the tampon concession over there.
Tom Griswold
Who would do the commercial? Who did the. Who did the tampon commercials? Kathy Rigby.
Christy Lee
Kathy Rigby? Yeah.
Tom Griswold
You know, it's the highest I've ever been, period.
Christy Lee
Well, all this sex talk. Let's talk science. Apparently, scientists have created a chewing gum now that may help stop the spread of the flu and herpes viruses.
Pat Godwin
What?
Christy Lee
The gum contains an antiviral protein called.
Tom Griswold
Do you chew it or do you get it all like flattened out in your tongue and then wrap it around your male member.
Christy Lee
Called fril. In tests, just 12 gram piece of the gum with 40 milligrams of frill reduced flu virus levels by over 95%.
Pat Godwin
Whoa.
Christy Lee
And it also significantly lower the amount of herpes viruses. Both one and two findings were published recently in the journal Molecular Therapy.
Jeff Oskay
What if it's just a gum that makes your breath smell horrible so no one wants to get near you?
Chick McGee
Problem solved.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, that'll keep the herpes, the flu away.
Christy Lee
I ran into that over the weekend.
Jeff Oskay
Bad breath.
Christy Lee
Herpes. The worst breath in the world.
Tom Griswold
And you don't this when you were at the zoo?
Christy Lee
No, no, no, no. It was a person. It wasn't an animal.
Pat Godwin
What's just a first name?
Christy Lee
No, I don't know the person. It was in a transaction.
Jeff Oskay
Was it warm man? Was it like hot garbage?
Christy Lee
It was a man. And I was like, boy.
Tom Griswold
Sir, if you're just joining us. Thank you. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show. That man over there is comedian Kostaki Economopoulos. Kostaki is. Has been all over the place. He's going to be doing some cruises this summer. Also, he'll be at Erie, Pennsylvania's famous Keller's Magic and Comedy Club coming up in late May. Been traveling a lot. Kostaki, any observations about this great country of ours?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, yeah. There's a trend happening. It's somehow sustained. I can't believe it. People are out there getting drunk and throwing axes in bars. Oh, yeah, that's fun. Who came up with this idea? Some unemployed lawyers. Did they try some other things before they landed on tequila and axes? Did they try meth and swords?
Pat Godwin
Did they.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I want to do mushrooms with a flamethrower. That sounds fun.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Cocaine and ninja stars. You know, if you would like to get drunk and throw axes, I think you should do it now because something's going to go wrong and it's going to be over.
Jeff Oskay
Right? Yeah.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Kostaki Economopoulos
This is, this is a society that no longer has diving boards. We're not going to be getting drunk and throwing axes for long.
Tom Griswold
This is like the, the. We were talking about the. Remember the days when you'd walk into a concert, any outdoor venue, they always had the bungee jump with the crane.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, right.
Tom Griswold
And I haven't seen that in.
Jeff Oskay
Right.
Tom Griswold
25 years.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Right. Yeah. I'm not going to get drunk and throw an axe. I don't trust myself drunk with my own phone. I'm afraid I'm going to drop it in the toilet or text, I love you. You can only fix one of those with a bag of rice.
Pat Godwin
Hello.
Tom Griswold
There could be rice involved in both of them. Yeah.
Christy Lee
I've always wondered about that ax throwing. Have you done that?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, we, we take the kids. They love it.
Tom Griswold
Take the kids.
Kostaki Economopoulos
We do.
Jeff Oskay
We don't let the kids drink.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Jeff Oskay
They. They are doing it.
Tom Griswold
So how far away is the target?
Jeff Oskay
25Ft.
Tom Griswold
Do they axes ever bounce back?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, they bounce.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's what I'm worried about.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, they do. And you got a. Oh, you got a duck.
Pat Godwin
There's a, there's an area where they throw. It's relatively. Considering what they're doing, it's relatively safe.
Jeff Oskay
Like, my oldest daughter was so good at it that, like, I got rid of the axes in our house. Like, just. She nailed it every time. I was like, oh, yeah, I'M getting rid of that.
Tom Griswold
Is the. Is the target, like, at the shooting range where it's like, a man, a silhouette.
Jeff Oskay
It's a big wooden circle with, like, a bullseye, like a standard. But it's probably three feet across or, you know, three foot across type.
Tom Griswold
That'd be a great scene. A great scene in a show. You. The woman keeps missing the target, then they switch it out, and they put a silhouette of a man and your face.
Jeff Oskay
Well, in our city, you can also throw knives or ninja stars.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You can? Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. You can now do different things and.
Pat Godwin
Just at the same ax business. Okay.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Well, there's like four or five around down.
Jeff Oskay
They provide all the.
Christy Lee
I was gonna say, can you imagine if you had your own axes? You show up. Oh, yeah.
Jeff Oskay
You got, like, a case, like you're a pool player.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
This guy knows what he's doing and brought his own stars.
Jeff Oskay
Are they.
Tom Griswold
Are they hatchets, like a hammer?
Jeff Oskay
I would say it's in between a hatchet and a full ax. It has, like, I would say, like a foot and a half handle. Maybe two foot handle.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
But, yeah, it's fun, man.
Tom Griswold
Is there a scoreboard, like, when you're bowling?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. Well, like, you have to keep it by hand. It doesn't have the.
Tom Griswold
Oh, is it weird, though, when you get a spare, you got to wait for the next throw.
Jeff Oskay
But, yeah, I would say every tenth axe bounces back at you.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Right.
Christy Lee
That's scary.
Jeff Oskay
So that's what makes it fun.
Tom Griswold
Is it like when they're pitching, batting practice, and they have that net? They can throw the ball and go to the side?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
No, there's no net.
Christy Lee
There's no net.
Jeff Oskay
There's no net. Straight back at you.
Pat Godwin
There should be a net.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, there's no net. And I saw one over the week. They had TVs above the ax.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
And a lady threw it straight into the tv.
Christy Lee
Are you serious?
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Jeff Oskay
It was fantastic.
Pat Godwin
I would like to see that.
Tom Griswold
They go bowling. By the way, are there any bowling alleys that still have the giant pencils and you get to do it yourself?
Kostaki Economopoulos
I think that's over.
Pat Godwin
Hang on a second.
Jeff Oskay
That's a.
Pat Godwin
What are you talking about, giant pencils?
Jeff Oskay
What's this pencil?
Pat Godwin
They were. They would give you a score sheet and a pencil, and you would.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It used to be a math exercise.
Tom Griswold
They were giant pencils.
Pat Godwin
You kept score on paper. I don't know about the giant pencil.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, they were big, huge pencils. They were. They were like golf pencils.
Pat Godwin
Are you sure it didn't happen you thought it was a giant pencil because you were a little boy. Is that what you're trying to think? Right.
Tom Griswold
As you know, my powers of observation.
Pat Godwin
I know.
Tom Griswold
Leave a lot to be desired. I'm the first to admit it. They'd give you the huge pencils. They were kind of soft, you know.
Pat Godwin
I don't care how many damn times you say.
Chick McGee
You were 5 years old.
Christy Lee
I'm going to back them up on this. I remember the big pencils. When you go to the bowling alley. Yes.
Pat Godwin
Okay, other than.
Tom Griswold
And then there was Mrs. Nutsy.
Pat Godwin
Does anybody else remember?
Kostaki Economopoulos
But then there was anything there.
Tom Griswold
Then there was that. That mid era phase where they had the overhead projector.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, right. On the clear plastic.
Christy Lee
Right.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, right.
Tom Griswold
That was. That was the worst invention ever. Remember? Remember in high school?
Jeff Oskay
Oh, yeah. That had a smell to it.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
As soon as they turn that on, I go, okay, I'm drifting off, off. I'm not gonna watch this idiot.
Pat Godwin
My algebra teacher, Mr. Morse was wonderful at that. He was way ahead of his time. He'd do a little cartoons in the corner while he was doing.
Christy Lee
Oh, was he.
Pat Godwin
He was a badass with the overhead projector. Yeah, he was great.
Tom Griswold
Boy, is there a warehouse full of those somewhere?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, in New Jersey.
Tom Griswold
And they've got racks and racks and rask racks of. Of paper bowling scoring sheets with all.
Pat Godwin
The advertisements on the bowling.
Christy Lee
Yeah, all the way on the corner.
Tom Griswold
All around the border now, coming up. What have you got over there, Christy Lee?
Christy Lee
Well, don't be huffing your dirty socks. It could lead to some very serious.
Pat Godwin
Come on.
Tom Griswold
Oh, and did you see the butter recall?
Christy Lee
I have a butter recall? Yes, we do.
Tom Griswold
Oh, this is.
Pat Godwin
Are you sure it was butter parquet?
Christy Lee
No, it's not parquet. Okay, different company.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I can't believe it's not.
Tom Griswold
But that's all coming up right now. I want to say hello to Chick Magee to talk about those great earbuds. This would be a great Mother's day or Father's Day gift.

Kostaki Economopoulos

Tom Griswold
It stinks.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yes.
Tom Griswold
First booze, then cigarettes. Now no more sock huffing. Why live?
Christy Lee
What?
Kostaki Economopoulos
You gotta stop reading the news.
Tom Griswold
I don't want to live in the.
Pat Godwin
World where I can't snow.
Tom Griswold
Plus, we're big fans of aaa. So is this lady fleeing police? We'll find out why those two are connected. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show. Just got to get a hold of us.

Pat Godwin
I like to be clear N. I don't blame you.
Kostaki Economopoulos
A lot of people.
Tom Griswold
I was thinking of putting together a special thing called the peso play day where we play with money. Never mind.
Pat Godwin
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom show. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts studios. I'm Chick Magee and think O'Reilly Auto Parts. For all your car care needs, get the parts and service you need fast from the professional parts people at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Hello, Tom.
Tom Griswold
Hello, Chick Magee. Hello, Christy Lee at the Silac insurance desk. Hello, Pat Godwin. Getting ready for another song, we hope. Jeff Oscar is sitting in for Josh Arnold. Josh caught a huge fish. He's in that competition at the lake of the Ozarks. And yeah, there's a picture of Josh that's a great picture on our social media.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's going right on the Tinder profile, right?
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
Great shot of him. You think he's ever really, really hot?
Pat Godwin
Do you think Josh is ever going to come back and be a guest on the show now that he's left.
Chick McGee
To be a famous fisherman?
Pat Godwin
I think it'd be nice. Yeah. Just come back and say hi.
Tom Griswold
Coming back tomorrow?
Christy Lee
What?
Tom Griswold
Stocky, I know that you were busy. Did you by chance get to watch any of the Masters.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I didn't. I just saw. I saw a couple of the clips last night of, you know, the reaction after you won.
Tom Griswold
And I'm just. I was. It's great coverage. I was just wondering, is there some kind of. Is it a federal law that they have to have an Englishman or an Australian as one of the announcers?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yes.
Tom Griswold
They can't have two Americans dramatically.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I saw some of the posts, match interviews, and they're so, like. It's so quiet and slow. Like, just, Just talk to the guy.
Tom Griswold
It's like a religious experience.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, it really is.
Pat Godwin
We need someone to talk and who could be mistaken for someone not talking. And Jim Nance is born.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Thank you, Byron.
Pat Godwin
I am Milk. Toast. Milk.
Tom Griswold
As you. As you approach the green, you'll notice that Donnie Bland. It appears that. It appears that he's actually walking on water. Such in a religious experience. And they get the green jacket. I thought they didn't get to keep the jacket. Christy says they get to take it.
Christy Lee
Over for a year and then take it back. That's what I was told.
Tom Griswold
Would you wear it anywhere?
Christy Lee
They do appearances a lot.
Pat Godwin
Don't make sense.
Christy Lee
They wear it to appearances.
Jeff Oskay
I'd wear it everywhere. I'd be in the drive through at Arby's. Yeah, just give me any free curly fries.
Tom Griswold
It's better than that tight yellow shirt.
Kostaki Economopoulos
From the Tour de France. No one wants that.
Tom Griswold
No, you can't wear that out.
Pat Godwin
Is that the only piece of clothing, or at least the most famous piece of clothing you win for a sporting championship?
Tom Griswold
That's a great question, right?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
The green jacket. You got the yellow shirt. You got the leader shirt for the Tour de France. You got.
Christy Lee
The reigning champion gets to wear the master's jacket for one year, returning it to the club at the following year's tournament. After that, it stays at Augusta national, worn only during Masters week and by Augusta national member.
Pat Godwin
Just another way the man can keep his foot on your neck. He got NFL hall of Fame.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You get the gold jacket, you get to keep that and you get. You get to have that one.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I didn't know you have to give the master's jacket.
Christy Lee
Yeah. They keep size for you.
Chick McGee
Do they do alterations for you?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, if you get a little hefty down the road, they have to. They have to let it out. As I said, they're getting cheap, Kaki. They. They used to give you two pairs of pants and a reversible vest, so you had a lot of options.
Christy Lee
Did you know that all Augusta national members have a Green jacket. So that means even if you didn't win the Masters, you have a green jacket.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Well, being invited to join Augusta and then they ask what is it, like $500,000?
Pat Godwin
Look up and see what the dues are at Augusta. I bet it's a million bucks.
Tom Griswold
Oh, really? And you have to be invited?
Pat Godwin
Something like that.
Christy Lee
You have to be invited.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah. It's very exclusive.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
What is it the old saying, the best part of religion is keeping some people out. Right?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
National's initiation fee is rumored to range from 40 to $200,000. Annual dues estimated between 10 and 50 grand, depending on the source and member status.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Sounds downright.
Pat Godwin
That's way low.
Tom Griswold
The initiation involves a lot of full frontal male nudity.
Christy Lee
Very, very exact figures like you said, there may have another. Are not publicly disclosed in the club. Is extremely exclusive. Accepting. Accepting only by invitation. Wow.
Tom Griswold
Well, is the word whites in there anyway?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, right. That's what I was thinking.
Tom Griswold
Now it's time to watch.
Pat Godwin
Wait a minute. Hold it. We've got other. What's the name of the. From the New York Times. 10 sports prizes Stranger than the master's green jacket.
Tom Griswold
Go.
Pat Godwin
Number 10, the red tartan jacket. Okay, there's a green jacket for the Masters. Now it's the red tartan jacket for the PGA Tours Colonial tournament. That been since 1952. The tournament says the jacket honors the history of golf and it's Scottish roots. And number nine, college football trophies. That doesn't really. Cowboy hats. Formula one drivers are the jet setters of the world. Let's see, they're forced to wear cowboy hats. The top three finishers for the F1 race in Austin, Texas. You put a cowboy hat on at.
Christy Lee
The end of the day.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That just started.
Tom Griswold
Right. It's gotta be a. Gotta be a. Getting a cowboy hat made out of.
Kostaki Economopoulos
They're forcing this. You can't wear a cowboy.
Tom Griswold
Nomex carbon fiber cowboy hat.
Pat Godwin
Do you remember the Halloween episode of Great Pumpkin? Charlie Brown? You know what? Remember what Charlie Brown always used to get instead of candy?
Tom Griswold
A rock.
Pat Godwin
A rock. That's right. I got a rock. Well, you could win a stone for a bicycle race. Let's see. It doesn't say which bicycle race. See, this is why I should have never checked in with the New York Times.
Tom Griswold
Is the problem with this.
Christy Lee
New York Times is hard to.
Pat Godwin
They're. They're counting wife carrying championships. You get her weight in gear.
Christy Lee
Oh, that's right.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, yeah, that's a sport.
Pat Godwin
Oh, they're talking about the Indianapolis 500. You want a bottle of milk. Right. And a teeny, tiny Borg Warner trophy that, you know.
Tom Griswold
They don't give you the bottle of milk.
Pat Godwin
Cooper's. You have to pay for the bottle of milk?
Tom Griswold
Well, they. You pour it over your head and.
Christy Lee
Then I'm sure you can take the bottle if you'd like.
Tom Griswold
Maybe we should combine the two. You wear a cowboy hat. That way when you pour over your head, your hair doesn't get wet. Yes.
Pat Godwin
But if you. They give you the bottle and milk to drink, they don't put a cap back on it and put it back in the fridge. They give you the bottle of milk.
Tom Griswold
Can you save it? Can you save the bottle?
Chick McGee
Was it a buttermilk for the longest time?
Pat Godwin
Of course. What kind of half assed.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, the drivers. You get to pick prior to the race. You get to pick if you want to have buttermilk. Whole milk, but chocolate. No. It's kind of like the Masters was a few years ago.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You know that race you're talking about where you carry your wife on your back?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I think that's called life.
Chick McGee
That's called marriage.
Pat Godwin
The divorced guy Kostaki from winners of the two annual NASCAR races at Martinsville in Virginia. Get out of their cars, accept congratulations, all the crew members. And because a salute to the furniture making industry in the area, they're given a grandfather clock.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Bing bong.
Tom Griswold
Do they. I was going to say, do they. Do they hand it to them? Hey, Jerry got hurt after the race. What happened if a clock fell on him?
Pat Godwin
Alpine ski races often award animals to winner. A goat, a hawk, a reindeer. The prize, though mostly symbolic. When Lindsey Von won a calf In France in 2005, she was offered, you can have the baby cow or $5,000. She took the baby cow.
Jeff Oskay
What?
Pat Godwin
I picked her over the $5,000 pot. Lindsay said because she was really cute. At the prize ceremony, they told me to give the cow back and they'd give me a check. I freaked out. No, you can't take her away. She was my cow. I love her.
Tom Griswold
Did she take her back to Colorado?
Pat Godwin
Took her back. I said that because I know where Lindsey Vaughn lives.
Christy Lee
He wants to marry, I think everyone.
Pat Godwin
Oh, the polka dot jersey. You get a polka dot jersey for winning the Tour de France, but you get the yellow jersey for the Lee. Peter.
Tom Griswold
So you're telling me. But you get to keep the bottle if you win the Indy 500?
Christy Lee
I would think. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Can you take.
Pat Godwin
They don't go.
Jeff Oskay
Here.
Tom Griswold
Wipe that.
Pat Godwin
Wipe the mouth off so we can.
Tom Griswold
If you take it up to Michigan, do you get the deposit?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, that's a good idea. Michigan didn't have enough bees, so they decided to.
Christy Lee
Indianapolis Motor Speedway has redone their museum. If you're coming to the Indy 500 this year. And they have a chandelier made out of milk bottles. Made out of milk bottles in the gift shop. It's amazing. It's really cool.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, that is cool.
Tom Griswold
Is there milk in it?
Christy Lee
Yeah, there's spoiled milk.
Pat Godwin
You smell that?
Christy Lee
Why do I bother?
Pat Godwin
It's coming from the chandelier.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Well, that kind of reminds me of one of the stories we have in the news, Christy Lee.
Christy Lee
Which one?
Tom Griswold
We were talking about cannabis and. Oh, wait a minute. We have. We have time. We have the sock smelling that you've been talking about.
Pat Godwin
This a bad idea.
Tom Griswold
This is. Well, it's actually a pretty serious story. Do you have it over there?
Christy Lee
A Chinese man developed a fungal lung infection due to his unusual habit of smelling his dirty socks. He was admitted to Army Medical University with a persistent cough. Connecticut and MRIs revealed shadows in his lower right lung. A bronchoscopy confirmed a fungal infection caused by Asperigalus asperillis. Some kind of Aspergillus.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Sounds like one of my relatives.
Pat Godwin
Aspergillus economopoulos. You get in this house.
Tom Griswold
Isn't that the name of one of the daughters and the Music Man?
Christy Lee
I don't have any idea. I've not seen the Music Man.
Pat Godwin
You're close. Yeah.
Christy Lee
After questioning the patient, doctors discovered he regularly smelled his own dirty socks. Tests on the socks detected traces of asperillia. This leading doctors to conclude the unhygienic habit was the source of the infection.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You're not supposed to smell your own socks. You're supposed to order them from the hot girls on only fans.
Tom Griswold
That didn't. You once get a yeast infection in your lungs from huffing?
Reno Collier
Why are you going to me with.
Chick McGee
The crazy questions like this?
Tom Griswold
Just, Josh isn't here.
Chick McGee
You can't beat me up just because Josh isn't here. He takes all those questions.
Pat Godwin
You can pick on me if you like. I'd be okay with today.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, but it's less likely that you'd have a yeast infection from huffing up. Never mind.
Chick McGee
Oh, I don't know where he's going.
Jeff Oskay
Huffing some panties.
Pat Godwin
Yeast infection.
Tom Griswold
Precisely. Well, that's how you do it.
Christy Lee
You don't think Chick can do that?
Pat Godwin
Haven't you?
Tom Griswold
I don't see Chick going home and huffing panties. That he buys that are FedEx to his house. Okay, I can see doing that.
Pat Godwin
But can't you get a yeast infection in your eye and your mouth? Isn't that what thrush is?
Christy Lee
Yep.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Not the evil Russia.
Kostaki Economopoulos
The.
Tom Griswold
That's the bad empire and the man from uncle. From uncle.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. But no, this is anybody ever any of the guy. Well, Christy, maybe in college. Did you ever from being too close to infection a girl and getting a yeast infection?
Christy Lee
I've had a yeast infection. I think almost all women have trade.
Pat Godwin
Them back and forth. They call it the Honeymooners disease.
Chick McGee
You're a veteran of the vagina, aren't you?
Pat Godwin
You have a lot.
Chick McGee
You've had things happen to it, right?
Pat Godwin
Tell him about your vagina.
Christy Lee
Tract infection. Is the Honeymooners disease. Yeah, the uti.
Chick McGee
Uti.
Pat Godwin
You ever have one of those Tom? Uti. Boy, it's painful.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
What's the joke Han does about he met a girl?
Jeff Oskay
Hpv.
Tom Griswold
He met a girl. What was the story?
Jeff Oskay
I met a girl with HPV who told me she had hpv. I was like great, I'll be able to watch the fight Friday.
Pat Godwin
Oh, he thought it was high definition.
Tom Griswold
Telegram.
Pat Godwin
Thank you.
Tom Griswold
Greg Hunter on and pay per view. Okay.
Reno Collier
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Coming up, Kostaki and more. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Kostaki Economopoulos
This is the Bob and Tom show.
Tom Griswold
Text us at 888-262-866 One more. Bob and Tom next.
Pat Godwin
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom show at the Silac Insurance news desk. Christy Lee.
Christy Lee
Hello.
Pat Godwin
Pat Godwin is there here.
Tom Griswold
I'm here.
Pat Godwin
Kostaki.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Pretend like you don't know it.
Pat Godwin
Mr. Comedy with his little bits.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's the biggest name in comedy.
Pat Godwin
There's Jeff, Oscar.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Hey.
Pat Godwin
We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is Chick McGee speaking. Hello, Tom.
Tom Griswold
Do you have a line that you ever use with the ladies? No.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You know what?
Tom Griswold
You think the name is long?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, he just walks something. Yes, that's right. I'm Kostaki. That's all he has to say.
Kostaki Economopoulos
James Bond thing.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Oh, Khan of stocky account.
Tom Griswold
Oh, now I think we're going to get hooked up with the satellite and check in. There we go. Look at that handsome man.
Reno Collier
Good morning, everybody.
Tom Griswold
It's Reno Collier. Now the. I got to notice your beard. The right side and the left side aren't matching anymore. Anymore?
Reno Collier
They're not?
Tom Griswold
No.
Christy Lee
What do you mean?
Chick McGee
Looks cool.
Tom Griswold
Look at the. See the.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, I think I like the right.
Tom Griswold
Side of his face is a little more White.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Reno Collier
Dude, it's coming in patches.
Tom Griswold
Hostage.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Some people.
Reno Collier
Most people are crazy.
Pat Godwin
Not me. But some people might call that mange. Huh?
Tom Griswold
I've decided what I'm gonna get. I'm gonna get because I'm gonna get. Excuse me.
Christy Lee
That's Reno.
Tom Griswold
I think I'm gonna get Reno a new lamp for Christmas.
Christy Lee
You don't like that?
Reno Collier
Dude, that lamp is cool, man.
Tom Griswold
In what way?
Reno Collier
My wife picked it out. Dude, I. I don't have anything to do with one thing in this house.
Tom Griswold
Nothing.
Chick McGee
Attaboy.
Tom Griswold
You know what I mean?
Reno Collier
I got the freaking garage, and then upstairs a little bit. But, like, when I watch those shows, and people, they're walking through the house and they're like, you know, this is going to be my man cave. First of all, that word is so irritating. But second of all, like, that's like, hey, you get one room. The rest of the house is mine. Stay in that hole.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, that's right.
Reno Collier
You know what I mean?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Reno Collier
It's pathetic.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, it is.
Christy Lee
Wait, what's wrong with this?
Tom Griswold
Now, Kostaki, you were in an apartment, right? Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I mean, I only had one room. I remember one time I called you from my place in Manhattan, and you were like, what room are you in? I'm like, I got a room and I'm in it.
Tom Griswold
This is it. This is it. Now. While Kostakia Khanamopoulos is our NFL correspondent. Ray. Yes.
Reno Collier
I love him.
Tom Griswold
And he happens to be a fan of the Atlanta Falcons.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, yeah. Going great.
Tom Griswold
Now, Reno, do you have a pro football affiliation that you.
Reno Collier
I do. I'm actually going to play in a golf tournament today for the Titans, for als, and I'm a Titans fan, and I don't know how I'm going to hang around these players and not say something horrific. Our season ends at the draft. Like, there's no. There's nothing. It's like, every week, they're, like, on Twitter, they're like, welcome, new Tennessee Titan. And I look them up, and they were like, at DeVry last year.
Tom Griswold
You know what I mean?
Reno Collier
I'm like, get. Spend some freaking money.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
This is the only time of year the Titans are number one going into the draft.
Reno Collier
These are my favorite Sundays of the year right now.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Now, how are you not a Falcons fan? I knew you as an Atlanta guy way back.
Tom Griswold
You.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You didn't bring your affiliation.
Reno Collier
I lived there. I moved there. I. I grew up a Cowboys fan, but I never lived in Texas, had never been to Texas, but I was just a jerk little kid, and When I was, like, seven, my whole family was Redskins fans or Steelers fans, right? And I was. And I'm like, who do you hate? And they're like, the Cowboys. And I'm like, I'm Roger. Stall back. And I didn't know anything about them. You know?
Pat Godwin
You've answered a lot of questions, Reno.
Reno Collier
You know what I mean? Yeah, I can't speak through the mange.
Pat Godwin
I know, dude.
Chick McGee
I'm gonna be thinking about that all day. I love it.
Tom Griswold
Now, we were talking with Kostaki. He's got a bunch of gigs coming up, including a couple of cruises. Have you ever done the cruises, Reno?
Reno Collier
I have, yeah. It's been a while, but. Yeah, man.
Tom Griswold
You like doing it?
Reno Collier
It was.
Pat Godwin
What?
Chick McGee
I know this answer because we've talked about it.
Jeff Oskay
That's a hilarious pause, huh?
Kostaki Economopoulos
I hear you, bro.
Chick McGee
Remember, you may be back soon.
Tom Griswold
Don't worry. Keep.
Chick McGee
Keep low, keep low, keep low.
Reno Collier
Dude, somebody used to do a joke about that. They went on stage and they go, hey, if you see a comedian or a cruise ship, we're either on our way up or on our way down. He goes, it's great to be back.
Chick McGee
That's funny.
Tom Griswold
Well, now.
Reno Collier
You know what, though, man? They've changed. They're not. It's not like it used to be, where everybody's pulling a balloon out of their butt and stuff.
Jeff Oskay
Like, it's real.
Chick McGee
Do your own thing.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's definitely better than it used to be. In the old days. Yeah, they didn't care if you were funny at all. They just didn't want a letter from an old lady.
Chick McGee
That's exactly right.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's changed. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Oh, they would. I saw that comedian.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You had to do the most vanilla version of your stuff just to survive. But it's changed now. It's better.
Tom Griswold
Okay. You can get salty a little bit. Some of them actually have a blue show.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah, yeah. The adult shows.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Do you like that, Pat?
Chick McGee
I did. Very freeing.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Get out there and let that C.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Word, especially after you do this.
Tom Griswold
C word means. Yeah, okay, sorry. Sorry to confuse things. Reno, have you prepared anything for us today?
Reno Collier
I have. Yes, sir.
Tom Griswold
Can I ask a quick question now that I'm interrupting myself? Are you working on volume two of your book?
Reno Collier
I am. Yes, sir, I am.
Tom Griswold
You aiming to have it out by Thanksgiving?
Reno Collier
It'll be out by Thanksgiving. It sure will. And thank you to everybody. We. It sold way more than we thought, and thanks to you guys, because that's the only people that really buy them Fans of the Bob and Tom show. So thank you to everybody that bought it. And I got a lot of really cool messages and stuff. And, yeah, it was fun, man. So I'm gonna do another one for sure.
Tom Griswold
Okay, cool. All right, well, now let's get back to the action here. Sorry to interrupt. Go ahead.
Reno Collier
Yes, sir. So since the beginning of time and since the day we were all born, human beings have searched to find that one magic thing that makes us feel good. And in my experience, most of what we search for is all about instant gratification. I remember as a kid, I found my first buzz spinning in circles in a chair at my grandpa's house. I'd do it till I was out of my mind dizzy. Then I'd very jump off and take off running. Do you know what it's like to put your head through a glass door? I do. The dizzy part was cool, but the stitches sucked, man. And my love for this feeling was probably a sign that someday I'd be sitting in a circle of chairs telling a bunch of other drunks how my life was unmanageable. And booze. Booze is a big one we use to make us feel good. The short term is absolutely instant gratification. The long term, well, let's all take a moment and think back to the worst decision you've ever made when you were drunk.
Pat Godwin
Ooh.
Christy Lee
All right, all right.
Reno Collier
I would imagine many of us were naked. Some of you are sitting beside it right now, and many are still on medication to get rid of it. Which brings us to sex with someone you don't know. Do you really think having sex with you was the first bad decision that person made? Think about it. Six hours earlier, they looked like a completely different person. And so did you. Trust me, boys, you're not so magical that she looked at you and thought, oh, yeah, Bush light T shirt smells like Marboro heaters, Taco Bell, and Febreze on a dirty shirt. Look out, girls. That's stud.
Tom Griswold
All mine.
Reno Collier
And like, looking. Spending your time looking at social media is another one nobody ever lays on their deathbed thinking, you know what? I should have spent hundreds of more hours watching the video of that kangaroo boxing the dwarf. I mean, I'm with you. The first five times you watch it is pure ecstasy. But long term, I started looking on Craigslist for a boxing ring, flights to Australia, and trying to get a promoter's license. It's just too much. And all of these are selfish decisions we make. They're just band aids. They don't last well, the best lesson I've ever learned is from sitting in a circle of chairs with a bunch of old drunks, it seems to us that instant gratification has what's gotten us into the big mess we're in. My kind tend to be very selfish, manipulative, and love to feel good. But oddly, the way to feel true, lasting joy is not from doing things for ourselves all the time, but from helping others, especially others who are experiencing the same pain we've gone through. There's an instant connection because we've been there. A simple analogy is this. Imagine you have a half a gallon of ice cream. You start out with a couple bites, and it's so good. So you keep going back. It's like it's calling you and you polish the whole thing off. But by the end of the night, after all that instant joy, you end up on the toilet for two hours googling, can your colon actually fall out? And what the hell is lactose intolerant meaning? Now think back. Have you ever given a little kid an ice cream cone when they weren't expecting it? Or shared one with an elderly relative? The joy you see on their face, the excitement they have, and that magical inner warmth you feel from loving on someone. That joy lingers inside you, so you want to repeat that. And you don't get the trots either. The secret to being happy is giving, not intake. So why don't we try it today and see? And if none of this makes sense to you, that's just because you're a jackass. I'm Reno Collier, and that's my country fried taste.
Tom Griswold
Thank you very much, Reno. Much, much appreciated. Areno, are you out on the road these days? What's going on?
Reno Collier
I am, yes, sir. So I'm all these dates are with Larry the cable guy. The 18th, we're going to be in Grant, Oklahoma. The 19th, Lake Charles, Louisiana. The 24th, Spartanburg, South Carolina. The 25th, Wilmington, North Carolina. And the 26th, Bristol.
Tom Griswold
All right.
Reno Collier
If anybody can come out, that's Virginia on the border. So if anybody wants to come out, I'd love to see you. Kostaki, it was so good to see you. Me and Kostaki started out together.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, Reno was the door.
Reno Collier
Freaking love that deal. I was the door guy.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Reno Collier
I used to let his parents in for free.
Pat Godwin
I did.
Reno Collier
I love casting. Kaki's parents. So sweet.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Hey, the economy are here. Come on in. Yeah, yeah.
Reno Collier
Are you Kaki?
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's parents. Reno was very impressed. I. I've told you this before, but I'll say it on air here. You're Reno. At the beginning was the door guy. He was a really good, like, new comic. He had this crazy, magical ability to have no jokes at all and be completely compelling and charming and interesting. Interesting. And one night, the other act didn't show up. And Reno had just sat all these people, which is a terrible construct, and they go, reno, go up there and do seven or whatever. And he goes, it was just amazing. He just made it look so easy. And you were just a kid, man.
Tom Griswold
You had magic right away.
Reno Collier
Yeah, I'm not really a writer, but you can buy my book at Reno.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's so not worth. Yes, I hear you.
Tom Griswold
Where do you get it?
Reno Collier
Reno at Reno. Call your comedy dot com.
Tom Griswold
That's what I thought. Okay, good. Thanks, Reno.
Pat Godwin
Sir.
Tom Griswold
Very fun.
Reno Collier
You gotta have a great week, everybody.
Tom Griswold

Christy Lee
Rare disease that'll turn you blue and we have rodent cuddling.
Tom Griswold
Ah, what a sweet looking rat.
Christy Lee
I didn't say a rat, I said a rodent.
Tom Griswold
Oh, that could be a lot of things. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Part Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Pat Godwin
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios at the Silac Insurance news desk. It's Christy Lee.
Christy Lee
Hi, Chick.
Pat Godwin
Hi, buddy. How you doing? There's Pat Godwin. Got a song coming up there, buddy?
Chick McGee
Sure would be.
Pat Godwin
All right. Don't Kostaki Economopoulos listen to me. He's the biggest name in comedy. Tom, Are you aware of that?
Tom Griswold
I am.
Pat Godwin
All right. There's Jeff Osk.
Christy Lee
You've done one song today.
Chick McGee
I know.
Pat Godwin
Been Chick speaking. Hello, Tom. Is it time for a song from.
Tom Griswold
No, it's time for a couple things. I want to talk a little bit of NFL with Kostaki. But first I want to do Today in History. How about that already?
Pat Godwin
Is that right? All right.
Christy Lee
Today.
Pat Godwin
Never get used to this Time now for Today in History.
Tom Griswold
This is in the form of a quiz for you, Kostaki.
Pat Godwin
This first one.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh.
Tom Griswold
Which president was the first president to throw out the first pitch at a Major league baseball game?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, wow. That's a cool question.
Jeff Oskay
I know it.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You do?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
How do you know?
Chick McGee
How do you know, you big dummy?
Tom Griswold
William Howard Taft. How do you know that?
Jeff Oskay
I just did a joke about it two weeks ago in Cincinnati.
Pat Godwin
Oh, because Taft is from. Yeah, the Taft people.
Jeff Oskay
And he was the first.
Christy Lee
We're all stupid.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I can't believe it's that far back.
Pat Godwin
You know why William Taft was the first president to throw out the baseball at a baseball game?
Jeff Oskay
Where.
Pat Godwin
It's where the hot dogs are.
Tom Griswold
Yes, it was. It was a Kostaki getting that bathtub that he was stuck in over by the mound. Yeah. 1910, man.
Christy Lee
That was a long time ago that you're Taft.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Jeff Oskay
And Carter is the only president who hasn't thrown out a first pitch.
Tom Griswold
Is that true?
Jeff Oskay
Since Taft?
Pat Godwin
I guess that's too late, huh?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah. Really on that one.
Jeff Oskay
Why did Kentucky threw out the first bag of peanuts.
Pat Godwin
So all the other presidents from Taft have thrown out the first pitch except Carter.
Jeff Oskay
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Huh.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I need to see some documentation.
Jeff Oskay
Type it into Google genius. It'll give you the doctor right there.
Tom Griswold
Did FDR suddenly.
Reno Collier
Are you moving today?
Tom Griswold
Did fdr?
Pat Godwin
You know, these kind of things only happen normally on Friday afternoons.
Christy Lee
But starting early.
Chick McGee
Someone's getting a phone call.
Pat Godwin
I will be okay. I will be accepting phone calls this afternoon if you'd like to give me a call.
Tom Griswold
1912, the RMS Her Majesty ship the Titanic sinks off of Newfoundland at 11:40pm yeah, boy.
Reno Collier
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, boy.
Tom Griswold
All right.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's a disaster, I'd say.
Christy Lee
Yeah, it was.
Pat Godwin
Water was 28 degrees.
Tom Griswold
I'm not taking questions in this next one. Are you sure? 1958, Sputnik 2 goes up.
Pat Godwin
Oh, on board, they called it the deuce.
Christy Lee
Sputnik 2, there was a. On board, a dog named. Named.
Tom Griswold
L E I, L A, I K A. You know why his ball was on Sputnik 1, by the way?
Christy Lee
Leica come back alive.
Tom Griswold
No, I'm not taking questions.
Pat Godwin
And I got news for you.
Tom Griswold
That.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. That wasn't the own. That wasn't the first Leica.
Christy Lee
Oh, I'm sure.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Let's see now. Happy birthday, Loretta Lynn.
Pat Godwin
Never forget the lyrics. Coal miner's daughter. I was born a coal miner's daughter.
Christy Lee
Did she say that?
Pat Godwin
Look it up. Type it into Google. Genius.
Chick McGee
That's gonna leave a mark there, Jeff.
Pat Godwin
I think. Yeah, I can feel it. I think we have a new catchphrase.
Tom Griswold
Genius. Very high. Hostile. It is.
Pat Godwin
I didn't start it, but by God, I'll finish it.
Tom Griswold
65 years old today, our friend, comedian Brad Garrett, one of the greatest.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
If you ever get a chance to go to his club in Vegas, if he's there, or anybody. It's a great club anyway. He's absolutely true.
Pat Godwin
He is something y.
Tom Griswold
The world of sports. Baker Mayfield, born in 1995.
Pat Godwin
Baker the touchdown maker.
Tom Griswold
Now that. That's pretty much all we're going to cover for today in the world of history. If you're Jeff. If you're Jeff. Hello.
Pat Godwin
If you're just done. And that's super.
Tom Griswold
If you're Jeff. If you're Jeff, you're attacking chick. If you're just joining, Google by genius. Excuse me. If you're just joining us, you're the one he hates. I don't know what's wrong if I'm trying to get this done. If you're just joining us, this is the Bob and Tom show coming to you from the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Let's talk a little football with Kostaki Economopoulos, our NFL correspondent. You gotta be excited about the draft.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I'm so excited. I love the draft. To you football nerds out there listening, go to a draft. Do yourself a favor. It's awesome. Your team can't lose. There's no ticket. You wander around and talk to football nerds for three days. It's the best.
Tom Griswold
All right.
Kostaki Economopoulos
We got some changes coming to the NFL next season, Chick. You know.
Pat Godwin
Changes. There's a change coming. Coming. Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Both teams are going to touch the ball in regular season overtime.
Pat Godwin
It's known as the Griswold rule.
Christy Lee
Happy about that.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I like that too. The touchback will come out to the 35.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. That's all right.
Tom Griswold
And the logic there is what?
Kostaki Economopoulos
That they'll want to encourage more returns.
Pat Godwin
Because if you just kick it into the end zone, it's out to 35 instead of 30. If you give them a chance to return it, your odds are you can stop them before you get to the 35.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Right?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Pat Godwin
Right.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Replay assist this season will be in.
Pat Godwin
Play on more penalties and keep an eye on how long the games last. Right?
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's a good point.
Pat Godwin
Five hours a game.
Kostaki Economopoulos
And the league is open to someday scripting some playoff wins for the Dallas Cowboys. We'll see if that.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, really?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Theoretically.
Jeff Oskay
Tried that this week.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You're open to that.
Pat Godwin
I see.
Tom Griswold
While Jerry's still with us.
Kostaki Economopoulos
First downs will be measured electronically this season. The new Hawkeye technology. That means when it's close, Allen alone Holda will come out and make the.
Tom Griswold
Call with the chain and Martini.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah. If Alan's unavailable, they'll default to the Radar O'Reilly system.
Pat Godwin
He's probably available the end of days. People in the NFL. NFL is dead with the chain gang not coming onto the field.
Tom Griswold
They're still there.
Pat Godwin
Unless they're standing on the sidelines.
Kostaki Economopoulos
They're the backup now.
Christy Lee
They're not going to walk out at all.
Pat Godwin
Sad.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Not no space. The terribly Hawkeye system fails.
Tom Griswold
I think if the.
Kostaki Economopoulos
If there's.
Tom Griswold
If the visitors of visibility issue or something. I forget how that works.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Brown Zimmy Haslam says the Deshaun Watson trade was a big swing and a miss. That's how bad the trade was. Chick. He had to use a metaphor from a different sport.
Pat Godwin
That might be a. That might be a problem. He doesn't even know what the hell team he owns. He thought on a baseball team.
Kostaki Economopoulos
My Falcon signed a German born place kicker. If I had him on my team, I would constantly ask him questions where I knew the answer. How many points? Points is three field goals.
Tom Griswold
Nine.
Kostaki Economopoulos
What's four plus five? Nine.
Jeff Oskay
What?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Why was six afraid of seven? Because seven, eight, nine.
Pat Godwin
What do you think of that, Tom?
Kostaki Economopoulos
I love a little German comedy. Yeah. Now I've done a version of this joke every year for several years. It's tradition, the NFL Draft has been held annually since 1936. Like Mel Brooks penis. Happy birthday, Mel.
Pat Godwin
Held annually.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Held annually.
Tom Griswold
Oh, his wife was super hot.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, that's right.
Tom Griswold
And Bancroft.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's right. Oh, agreed.
Pat Godwin
How's she doing, by the way?
Tom Griswold
Sadly, she's gone, you jackass.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I'll not be taking questions, I believe.
Chick McGee
Goodbye to you, Mrs. Robinson.
Pat Godwin
You meant to call him Jeff.
Tom Griswold
No, no, no.
Pat Godwin
Oh, okay.
Tom Griswold
He just said look it up. Genius.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Florida defensive tackle Desmond Watson could be the largest player ever drafted in the NFL. Well, Chick, do you know the size?
Pat Godwin
I want to say? 460. Is that right?
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's six. Six, four. Six, four.
Jeff Oskay
Oh.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, my goodness.
Pat Godwin
And moves like he doesn't have any trouble.
Tom Griswold
Wasn't his vertical leap?
Pat Godwin
He can dunk a basketball.
Reno Collier
Yeah, yeah, that.
Kostaki Economopoulos
He bench pressed £225 36 times. And he ran the 40 in. Well, he's not done yet with the.
Pat Godwin
40, but no, I'm gonna say I was under five.
Kostaki Economopoulos
He's somewhat nimble considering how.
Christy Lee
Like running in into a brick wall.
Chick McGee
That would be horrible.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I wonder how long it's been since he's seen his penis. Do you think?
Tom Griswold
It's probably.
Pat Godwin
Probably a while.
Chick McGee
That's why he's such a good player.
Tom Griswold
Maybe he has one of those. Those selfie sticks.
Pat Godwin
A Richie reaching stick.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Selfie stick.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I can.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Here's a nod to Louie Anderson on this joke. Broad jump killed her.464.
Pat Godwin
See if he would. If the464 guy did the broad jump, he'd land on the bra. Odds.
Tom Griswold
Oh. Oh, I see. I. I got lost there.
Kostaki Economopoulos
If the NFL doesn't work out for this kid, he could just be a hockey goalie. Have a seat. Yeah, right.
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
You don't have to move around nothing.
Pat Godwin
What sport is it where the goalies are. Are. They're dressed in comically large, like, pads. I mean, they are almost as wide as the goal. I don't want to.
Chick McGee
Cricket.
Pat Godwin
No, I want to say it. It's some indoor sport. It's indoor. Like field hockey or something.
Reno Collier
They're.
Pat Godwin
They're giant. As wide as the goal.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Indoor field hockey?
Pat Godwin
I think so.
Christy Lee
They don't have a goalie.
Jeff Oskay
I don't know.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Highlights, like poor crazy racquetball. It's the fastest ball in sports.
Christy Lee
Yeah, it's crazy to watch.
Pat Godwin
You always look up highlight on Google. Genius.
Jeff Oskay
Is that where I find it?
Tom Griswold
And oddly enough, it's spelled with a J. Oh, well, I'll never find it.
Pat Godwin
It's True.
Kostaki Economopoulos
A group of Dolphins is called a pod. A group of Falcons is a cast. So a Dolphins, Falcons game Podcast. It's a podcast, everybody. A group of Lions is a pride, and a group of Jaguars is a parade. So a Lions, Jaguars game.
Pat Godwin
Pride.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Parade.
Tom Griswold
Comedy here now. What's the closer on that?
Kostaki Economopoulos
A group of Browns is a sadness. And a group of Raiders will miss the playoffs. So a Browns Raiders game is pointless. Good night, everybody.
Tom Griswold
They always come in threes. Thank you, our NFL correspondent. And you're going to Green Bay for the draft.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Now, will you wear a Falcons jersey around. So your fellow Falcons fan.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Falcons shirts. The Falcons jerseys. Yes, absolutely.
Pat Godwin
They. Before they made the drafts public, there was a huge viral Internet sensation that should.
Tom Griswold
Should.
Pat Godwin
Should a fan wear his jersey to the NFL draft now that we're allowed to go and resounding. Oh, yes. Oh, yeah, Absolutely. You gotta wear your jersey.
Tom Griswold
Of course.
Christy Lee
Do you ever wear your jersey outside of football season other than the draft?
Kostaki Economopoulos
I don't. I'm not a big jersey guy. I prefer. I prefer a shirt. T shirt or whatever.
Pat Godwin
I used to, but I don't really do that much anymore. Unless it's football.
Kostaki Economopoulos
No, but the draft is fun because then you. It's sort of a signal to the other. Other football nerds that you're an Atlanta football nerd. And they find you, find each other, and you hang out and you go, hey, I grew up in Marietta, and who do you want? It's just. It's so fun, and you're just drunk the whole time, and you play poker, you hang out with your brother. It's the best.
Jeff Oskay
Wait, did you just say pay a.
Pat Godwin
Hooker, hang out with your brother?
Kostaki Economopoulos
No.
Jeff Oskay
No. Oh.
Christy Lee
My bad.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Hey, I'm not judging. Now, when you yourself.
Tom Griswold
Do you drink when you play poker?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, in that situation, we place. We play.
Tom Griswold
So it's just for fun because you're a serious poker player?
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, I don't. I don't drink in a big scary game, but with my brother.
Tom Griswold
Hang out.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, we could. Yeah, you drink.
Christy Lee
There you go.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Well, that's certainly good to know. We're hanging out with Kostaki Economopoulos, by the way. You can look for Kostaki in Erie, Pennsylvania, at Keller's Magic and Comedy Show. With any luck, you'll be there when you're looking. That's gonna be.
Pat Godwin
What's going on there, pal. I'm just looking for Kostaki. Well, he's not here.
Tom Griswold
Well, don't look this weekend, but look, the weekend of the 30th. And the 31st of May.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's right.
Tom Griswold

I happen to be drinking a official tea from Java House. And this is the Peel and Pour tea and the Peel and Pour coffee. They also have, of course, hydration drinks, even great hot cocoa, energy drinks, lattes and more. I believe Mr. Economopoulos started off the show with a latte from Java House. Java House. Let me get one of these babies. It looks kind of like a Keurig cup. It's just slightly bigger. But you don't have to have a machine. You're not piercing the plastic and drinking a bunch of plastic molecules. It's just concentrate. You put this in the water of your choice, hot or cold, and make the drink that you want to make. It's from Java House. They call it Peel and Pour. This is revolutionizing the workplace coffee room. Not to mention the coffee place at your home. It's a lot quicker, a lot easier. You can do it about five seconds. Figure out which one you like the best. Try them all. Get all the details by going to Javahouse.com. the promo code is Bob and Tom. That'll knock 25% off your first order. Look at this right here.
Christy Lee
What's that?
Tom Griswold
Says Dear Bob and Tom show. You did it again. I got my Java House order Friday and my wife and I have been killing it all weekend. We got three boxes Friday afternoon. We have less than one box left. Super great coffee.
Christy Lee
Oh, wow.
Pat Godwin
Nice.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I was actually walking around my orange insoles. Well, thank you very much. Holy. From Mr. C.G. thank you, sir.
Pat Godwin
Kyle, do anything we tell him. Okay.
Tom Griswold
We appreciate it.
Pat Godwin
I like that.
Tom Griswold
It's brand new. It's the revolution in coffee. It's javahouse.com. i know, Tom. It's more than coffee. Well, thank you for reminding me. Tea, hydration drinks. I almost said hydrogen drinks.
Christy Lee
Drinks that'd be different.
Tom Griswold
Hydrogen drink would float like a blimp. Hey, I'd like to drink that. But it's up in the ceiling.
Pat Godwin
You wouldn't need ice though.
Tom Griswold
Hydrogen drink. I meant to say hydration drinks. Just go to. Just go to java house.com. check out the great coffee Etc. The keyword Bob and Tom to knock 25 off good old Java. Christy, we've promote a bunch of store.

Christy Lee

Tom Griswold
Okay, we can do that marijuana story. It's a good one. When we return, we are in the O'Reilly Auto Part Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Kostaki Economopoulos

Pat Godwin
Even though we're not too much to look at.
Tom Griswold
You can also watch the show on our YouTube channel.
Pat Godwin

Jeff Oskay
Hi, buddy.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, that's right. There's Kostaki.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's right.
Pat Godwin
Alive in your neighborhood any moment with comedy and making fun of your favorite football team. I'm Chick. Hello.
Tom Griswold
Tom. Stocky. You've been on the road a lot. You've been divorced for year or so. Yeah, I, I remember I asked you if you had any luck on the road road you'd report in.
Pat Godwin
What does that mean?
Tom Griswold
Getting that road. And yeah, I remember you went on, bought some condoms at one point.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I'm enjoying the single man life.
Pat Godwin
Are you still?
Kostaki Economopoulos
No, no, I'm just sleeping diagonally on a king sized bed by myself and that's fine.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, isn't that heaven?
Kostaki Economopoulos
I love it. I love that.
Jeff Oskay
Are you wearing, do you starfish it where you let.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, I'll sometimes do that. Sure.
Pat Godwin
Oh, I love it sometimes.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Talk to me. No, no, no.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Are you.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I don't think anybody under 40 is interested in me. I'm probably safe there.
Tom Griswold
Are you a. I don't think I'm.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Knocking anybody up, if that's what you're worried about.
Tom Griswold
Are you a porn watcher?
Kostaki Economopoulos
I enjoy support, you know, my.
Tom Griswold
Oh, that's for you.
Kostaki Economopoulos
My, my favorite current porn theme is it's when the woman gets stuck somewhere.
Tom Griswold
Oh, what?
Kostaki Economopoulos
You know what I'm talking about.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. Stuck porn.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah. He knows.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
All right.
Christy Lee
Right.
Kostaki Economopoulos
If you don't know, it's when usually the woman has no pants on. Chick. And then she's trying to get something out from under a table.
Pat Godwin
Okay. And she gets stuck under.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Stuck there. And instead of helping her out, the guy has his way with her and.
Pat Godwin
Wait because the business end is legal.
Kostaki Economopoulos
And here's the fantasy part.
Pat Godwin
I think we're breaking the law talking about it. Yeah, that's right.
Tom Griswold
So this is a, A non consensual encounter.
Kostaki Economopoulos
No, no, it's consensual because here's the thing. This, the fantasy part. She loves it.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, she, she loves it. I gotta tell you, if my wife, you met her, if she ever got stuck in a dryer and instead of helping her out, I just had My way with her. She would have to be stuck there forever because as soon as she was unstuck, there would be a murder. There would be some praying mantis stuff happening.
Pat Godwin
After that, she'd bite his head off. Tom.
Tom Griswold
Oh, I gotcha.
Pat Godwin
Okay.
Tom Griswold
That's a real category.
Kostaki Economopoulos
It's a real thing. It's what makes me laugh. It's so. It's so special. Speaks to how dumb the male fantasies are. It's just like she loves it. Of course she loves it.
Tom Griswold
As I've often said, you never hear the word no.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, right.
Tom Griswold
In a porno.
Kostaki Economopoulos
No, that's true.
Tom Griswold
Right? It is not setting a good example.
Kostaki Economopoulos
No, that's a good point. You understand the premise though, that you have a fantasy, but it is. That one is cartoonish and ridiculous.
Pat Godwin
See, that makes the shoe dangle. Kind of.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
So I mean, in these, in these, the videos are the women, they just happen to have no panties and they're walking around doing chores, getting stuck under table.
Kostaki Economopoulos
They're fetching things from under the table.
Jeff Oskay
Sometimes they're. They're reaching out a window. Right?
Pat Godwin
Sounds like the three.
Tom Griswold
Like a Three Stooges episode.
Kostaki Economopoulos
They get stuck there, but what they really want is for the dude to have their way with her.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Before they free me, of course.
Tom Griswold
Do they ever do one where it's kind of dimly lit and the guy walks in the room and there it is right there in front of him. There it is with, with the window stuck. And then it turns out to be a guy. Oh, well, that's.
Pat Godwin
I think I could tell the difference between a guy and a girl.
Tom Griswold
Remember I said it was dark? Hey, look, I'm. I, I'm, I'm. I'm writing this. You know what? I'm. I'm writing it.
Pat Godwin
You sure did. That one is on me.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, forgot.
Tom Griswold
And then it would be lit.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Genius.
Tom Griswold
This would be a. This would be like a lesson learned the next time. Like before you.
Chick McGee
This feels different back here.
Tom Griswold
She loves. Gosh, is that. I wonder if that's a porno category. If they, they don't know what gender they're dealing with.
Pat Godwin
No, there is a porno category that is just. The woman likes it. That's the, that's the whole category. Okay.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That really is the key to all the porn, right?
Tom Griswold
She.
Kostaki Economopoulos
She loves it.
Christy Lee
Yeah, whatever it is.
Kostaki Economopoulos
All the things that your real life girlfriend would say no to. She loves it.
Pat Godwin
You know how she's. You know how she's distant and hateful? Not in porn.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Yeah, right. No, sir. No one's standing on the bed screaming.
Tom Griswold
In this scene, in this little drama, a limited vocabulary. You know, words like huge, more I can't take.
Kostaki Economopoulos
That's right. That's right. All good stuff.
Tom Griswold
I see Christy Lee is at the SILAC Insurance news desk.
Christy Lee
Learned something today.
Tom Griswold
Revenue I. Me too. That's really awful.
Christy Lee
Hey. 600 pounds of marijuana was stolen from a police evidence lot in Colorado. KUSA reports the theft occurred USA tv. A Colorado State Patrol evidence lot in Inglewood, Wood. Colonel Matthew Packard said someone broke through a fence into a trailer containing the cannabis. The trailer had been seized about two years ago as part of a highway drug investigation, but was in line to be destroyed.
Chick McGee
Do you smell that?
Christy Lee
What's that?
Chick McGee
What were you gonna say?
Tom Griswold
I mean, they don't resell it.
Christy Lee
No, no, no.
Pat Godwin
You know, this. They burn.
Christy Lee
Burn it.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. Everybody stands around, gets hot.
Tom Griswold
But it took him two years to. They just had it sitting there the whole time.
Christy Lee
Yep.
Pat Godwin
Well, I think that in. Was they needed as evidence in any. Oh, continuing.
Christy Lee
You know, how long sometimes our court cases take a while.
Tom Griswold
Do they really? Can't they just take a sample of it and burn the other £558? Or was it £1200 when it arrived? And then, you know, they used to say, cops have the best. You have a marijuana song to you.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Could Wolfman Jack tuck up? Smells like weed for me Here we.
Tom Griswold
Go, ladies and gentlemen, it's Pat Godwin. It smells like weed Everywhere I go.
Chick McGee
Smells like weed at the grocery store it's guaranteed Even standing in line at the DMV Everywhere I go it smells like wheat it does on the way to work it's that reefer I smell I smell pot at my hotel Ganjas in the air on every street at the gym, in my church Smells like.
Kostaki Economopoulos

Chick McGee
It's Garnering Airplane.
Christy Lee
I know.
Chick McGee
I love that on the Bob and Tom Show.
Tom Griswold
Other places too, don't. You don't strike me as being a reefer guy at all. No.
Kostaki Economopoulos
I'm Greek and Southern. I'm lazy enough in my regular. I don't need a chemical assist undoing nothing.
Pat Godwin
I'm going to need a hand doing nothing. Can you help?
Tom Griswold
Help me out once again. If you're looking for Kaki, you might try Keller's Magic and Kind Comedy club in area Pennsylvania. Don't start now, though. He won't be there till May 30th.
Pat Godwin
But we're giving you plenty of time. There's no excuse.
Tom Griswold
And if they want to book to see you on the ships, where do they go? Norway.
Kostaki Economopoulos
Oh, yeah, Norwegian. Kostaki.com's got all this, all the details. I think it's the Norwegian Bliss and then one of the other ships, Alaska this summer, Seattle to Juneau and Ketchikan and you know that stuff.
