Jess Hooker
It's the Bob and Tom show.
Chick McGee
So this is one of my favorite tunes, by the way.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, all set over there, Tom.
Chick McGee
I beg your pardon? Who are you speaking to?
Jess Hooker
Oh, it's that strange European accent. Quiet place. I'm sorry, your name, sir? Bonjour.
Chick McGee
Bonjour.
Jess Hooker
Bonjour. Good morning, Mr. Bonjour.
Chick McGee
Oh, that's very funny. Must be the chick. The funny one. Excuse me, darling, I. I hate to interrupt you, but there's something I must tell you. I will sing.
Josh Arnold
In a minute.
Jess Hooker
Let it come around.
Chick McGee
I will sing after the band comes around.
Jess Hooker
It's the band's fault. Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
If you find yourself in Holland, they'll say to you how Yamon. In France they'll say Ferme la Gaulle. In Athens you'll hear Scarmo. In Berlin, it's Hilton Seeder Schnauzer. In Jakarta, it's simply Boncom. Let me translate for you, darling. Shut up, shut up, shut up.
Jess Hooker
Coming around again.
Chick McGee
Has there ever been a topic on which you don't expound? Has there ever been a moment when.
Pat Godwin
Your mouth wasn't making a sound?
Chick McGee
Have you ever had the feeling that you might have said enough? I am begging you, my darling. Shut up, shut up, shut up. Day or night, it does not matter. You still want to shoot the breeze. When I hear your constant chatter, I'm thinking someone shoot me, please, Maestro. Now we, we are in the bedroom, so comfortably inclined. But the only intercourse we're having is the conversational kind. There's just one way to stop you from blabbering so much say hello to Mr. Johnson and shut up. Shut up.
Tom Griswold
Shut up.
Chick McGee
Shut up. Shut up.
Jess Hooker
Ah.
Chick McGee
Bravo.
Jess Hooker
Fermila Douche.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Jess Hooker
Mer Chevalier. Reese Chevaliers is what you said. Hey, good morning. It's the Bob and Tom Show. Jess Hooker at the Silac Insurance news desk. Hello, hello, hello. There's Pat Godwin.
Chick McGee
Hey, Chick.
Jess Hooker
Hello, hello, hello, hello. There's Josh Arnold.
Chick McGee
Hey, Chick.
Jess Hooker
And yet, a new facial hair adventure. A different style. There's Ace Cosby. Hey, I'm Chick McGee. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Here's Tom to take a first look at Josh. Tom.
Chick McGee
Okay. Now, Josh started with his winter's beard. Full, big, bushy beard. Very impressive. And then you lopped off just the chin first, so it was like massive sideburns going into a stash. Then it was the handlebar mustache with the sideburn.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Chick McGee
Then just the handlebar mustache.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Chick McGee
Today it's just a sort of a traditional, normal mustache.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah.
Jess Hooker
Kind of the Tom Selleck kind of.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Jess Hooker
It's regular bushy. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
My least favorite of the looks.
Jess Hooker
Oh, okay.
Tom Griswold
This is.
Jess Hooker
All right.
Tom Griswold
What are your thoughts?
Chick McGee
Good, good.
Tom Griswold
Oh, Pat's a fan.
Chick McGee
I like.
Pat Godwin
I liked Yesterday's better.
Tom Griswold
I did, too. Yeah, I'm gonna do a mustache. I'm keeping it down.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, I like the. The first cut you had. No. No hair on your chin.
Tom Griswold
I also liked it.
Jess Hooker
The big chops.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah. This one looks like you're a math teacher who still uses a slide rule.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chick McGee
You're not going to give up.
Jess Hooker
I can. I could solve this problem faster with my slide rule than you can with your calculator.
Chick McGee
Do they even make those anymore? I suppose they're.
Jess Hooker
They must.
Pat Godwin
I think this is your first responder. Look like a firefighter.
Chick McGee
Police officer.
Pat Godwin
That's what I'm getting from.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
You could be in that drunken lizard or whatever that. That movie or. They're super troopers.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah. Broken lizard.
Jess Hooker
Broken lizard. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Dudes. Yes, for sure.
Jess Hooker
Absolutely.
Chick McGee
Or maybe with a cowboy hat. You could be the cowboy in the Village People.
Tom Griswold
Oh, he was mustachioed, man.
Chick McGee
Just like that.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Chick McGee
Kind of a.
Jess Hooker
Well, that was yesterday. That was.
Chick McGee
Did he. He didn't have the Fu Manchu.
Jess Hooker
I think he did. Yeah. He bushy?
Chick McGee
Bushy. No, the bushy one was the leather guy. Right.
Jess Hooker
Well, you know, you're the one. You're the one who followed him around with you and your buddies around.
Chick McGee
Yeah. It was like. It was like the Grateful Dead fans, the people heads. I don't know.
Jess Hooker
And instead of cheering for them face on you.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Okay, well, I love you. Okay. We got a lot going on about a couple. Headlines alone are so exciting. We've got a boyfriend being locked in a storage unit.
Jess Hooker
He deserved it. I know nothing about the situation.
Chick McGee
You know something? It's interesting. You never know, you know?
Jess Hooker
Although this week has been illuminating, Jess mentioned that women are diabolical. And did you? Are you. Are you. Are you sticking to that? Yeah, because the. The scenario she set up yesterday is that some women, if you don't get along with somebody at work and your window's down in the parking lot, they will throw random hair ties into your car to make your significant other assume that you're having an affair. That is diabolical.
Chick McGee
You also made the statement to us boys, you pay for it one way or the other.
Pat Godwin
And none of you argued with me, so.
Tom Griswold
No, no, we didn't.
Josh Arnold
Can't argue with that.
Chick McGee
Well, yeah, End of show.
Pat Godwin
We.
Chick McGee
We have another headline involving a woman trashing ex boyfriend's car. Yeah, but there's a problem. Oops.
Jess Hooker
Beyond.
Chick McGee
Yeah, you'll. You'll find out about that.
Jess Hooker
What was the movie where one of the stars set the car on fire?
Pat Godwin
I think it's Waiting to Exhale. She does.
Chick McGee
Oh, right.
Jess Hooker
Or Stella Got her groove back. Or.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Is that right?
Pat Godwin
I think it's Waiting to Exhale. Say it's Angela Bassett both times.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, I know it was Angela. I. I thought it was Angela Bassett.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Sets the car on fire when they break up.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yes.
Pat Godwin
Well, left eye.
Jess Hooker
Left eye. Yeah. Yeah, it was Andre Risen's house. I know what you're. Yes, I. I'm sure mad about something.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Okay. Sorry. I was thinking about something.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Chick McGee
I'll tell you off the area.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Chick McGee
I'm very excited. I have not looked at the letters yet.
Jess Hooker
I have, and they're wonderful and amazing and each in their own wonderful way.
Tom Griswold
And we've got a couple poems.
Jess Hooker
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Well, that's exciting.
Chick McGee
And Pat has an opportunity to continue the. With one of his songs that's become kind of a staple on this show.
Jess Hooker
It's called Favorite.
Chick McGee
Involving a. Involving a new. New story. And we had huge news in the world of golf in. In two forms. We have.
Jess Hooker
It's happened before, but. Yeah, he had a really good round.
Tom Griswold
You're now allowed to throw one shot with your hand.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Jess Hooker
I think somebody. You should get in. In touch with, somebody in charge of one of these sports because you got a lot of good ideas.
Chick McGee
Thank you.
Jess Hooker
About the NFL and pass interference. And now this golf.
Chick McGee
Run your pass interference concept by me again now.
Tom Griswold
It should be legal. There is no such thing as pass interference. If you don't tackle that man, he's going to catch the ball.
Chick McGee
So the guy, the offensive receiver.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Comes off the lines, starts running out there and then you tackle him so he can't catch the ball.
Tom Griswold
Otherwise you can catch the ball and go score.
Chick McGee
I like it.
Jess Hooker
It does bring a whole new angle.
Chick McGee
Into the way we played in the backyard.
Tom Griswold
The goal is to defend. Defend.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Now, just when you thought you've seen everything in a headline, I'm going to just give three words from this headline. Pubic hair transplants.
Tom Griswold
No kidding.
Chick McGee
And I'll tell you what the.
Jess Hooker
Who worries about their pubic hair?
Chick McGee
But I'll give you, I'm going to give you a guess here. None of you have seen this article. This is happening in what city? In America? Oh, I think this is an easy guess.
Pat Godwin
Miami.
Chick McGee
Miami is correct.
Pat Godwin
Oh, I didn't even read the story yet.
Jess Hooker
Good job.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah, all that weird stuff's always coming out of Miami.
Jess Hooker
A lot of girth in Miami.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah, the, all the, the penis length thing. And the guy arrested for adding. Was it like tire filler to a woman's buttocks? Remember that one? Hey, you're okay, people. But we'll find out about pubic hair transplants.
Jess Hooker
And now, Tom, didn't you have a certain nickname in school when you were showering around the boys at first you, your, your pubic hair was not coming in.
Chick McGee
Oh, oh, yeah. There was a, there was an era where I. Very unfortunate.
Jess Hooker
They called him Piglet.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Oh, that is, that's some rough bullying.
Chick McGee
That's why you're the way you are now.
Jess Hooker
That's some high dollar bullying.
Chick McGee
Well, and that actually leads, leads to another story. We talked about this, I don't know, maybe a decade ago, and there was just a big article about it in a paper in Minnesota about boys having to swim naked at their schools, at public schools.
Jess Hooker
We talked about this a long time ago and there are an alarming number of people who this happened to. And the explanation is.
Chick McGee
There's a very valid explanation.
Jess Hooker
I don't, No, I don't think it is.
Chick McGee
We had more than one person weigh in as to why this was done. But this is an article from the Star Tribune, the Minnesota Star Tribune, and it's about the tradition of nude swimming by male students. And this continued into the 70s.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
But yeah, there's a really valid reason that they did it.
Tom Griswold
Well, I guess I can See, what Chick saying though is yes, they had a reason. It doesn't stand up to today's validity standards.
Chick McGee
It would never happen.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jess Hooker
It sounds like a reason that a.
Tom Griswold
Pervert would make up. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Someone, a molester would make up this reason.
Tom Griswold
It kind of does, don't you think? You don't? Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Are you going to give the explanation? We're coming back with it.
Chick McGee
I can give it right now.
Jess Hooker
All right.
Chick McGee
The explanation was and from more than one person. The. They didn't want the boys to bring bathing suits in to schools because when they'd swim they'd put them in their lockers and the lockers would rust.
Jess Hooker
So to avoid that, they just swam in the nude.
Chick McGee
Swam in the nude.
Pat Godwin
So putting hooks somewhere else outside of the lockers.
Chick McGee
Yeah. And we had more than one person explain that to us. But yeah, it was a thing. Including in public schools. So.
Pat Godwin
Huh.
Chick McGee
And then there. Obviously there's going to be some damage done particularly.
Pat Godwin
But girls could put their swimsuits in the lockers and they could rush.
Chick McGee
I'm not sure if it took place at schools that were co ed or strict.
Pat Godwin
Oh, okay. Okay.
Jess Hooker
They couldn't. They couldn't get away with the.
Pat Godwin
Okay.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Even girls doing it.
Chick McGee
Even in the 50s. I think that might be a little bit of a.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Chick McGee
I don't know. What do you think?
Pat Godwin
I don't. We had the option like to shower in gym when we were in school.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
It was an option for us too. Yeah. It wasn't.
Chick McGee
At what age?
Pat Godwin
Starting in sixth grade.
Chick McGee
Sixth grade. Oh, wow.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. When we went, that was our middle school.
Jess Hooker
So.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. Elementary school was through fifth.
Jess Hooker
I didn't take showers with the. The football team or gym until freshman year.
Pat Godwin
That's when school sports and gym class.
Chick McGee
I have some questions. When we come back. I want to pick up on this also. Incredible. Great names in the news. Sometimes your name is your destiny. In this case, running a house of prostitution. I'll let you think about that for a while.
Jess Hooker
It wasn't me, is it whore mama.
Chick McGee
It's as close. If you're fishing, you're getting real close.
Jess Hooker
Hello, I'm Elaine Horma. How are you?
Chick McGee
You do it with an Asian accent.
Jess Hooker

Jess Hooker
You're welcome.
Chick McGee
I'm reminded of. I believe it was Woolly Willy.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
Remember that the magnet game?
Jess Hooker
The metal filings?
Chick McGee
You'd move the metal filings. You could change the. Change the haircut and the facial hair of.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that was fun.
Chick McGee
Yeah. We're doing kind of a human version of that with Josh Arnold he started out with the iron filings all over his face with his heavy beard. And then day by day, he has removed the facial hair. And now it's just a more traditional mustache at this point. And then over the weekend. What's the plan?
Tom Griswold
You had requested a pencil thin mustache. So when I go to shave off the mustache tomorrow, I will. I'll pencil thin it up, see if I can see. I'll do my best.
Pat Godwin
How are you gonna do it? Like create a guard and just shave above it?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I've got some. Some. A couple different trimmers.
Pat Godwin
Okay.
Chick McGee
So that is gonna be a work of art.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, hopefully. Hopefully.
Chick McGee
Cannot wait.
Jess Hooker
I think Ted Turner, who's still alive, by the way, has. Still has the pencil thin, I think.
Chick McGee
Who? Buster Poindexter, AKA David Johansson did it.
Tom Griswold
John Waters, famously.
Chick McGee
Yes. Frank Deford, the sports writer, did it. Prince did it there for a while. It requires a lot of concentration and a lot of ego.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
To do the. And then, of course, there's the great song by Jimmy Buffett, Pencil thin mustache. Yeah. I did a parody of that yesterday. An absolute classic. But I certainly look forward to that, Josh. And speaking of willies, there is Woolly Willie, then there's Willie G. He's coming in this morning with Tommy Brennan for some comedy. Those guys are going to be doing their show at the Leisure Club in Columbus, Ohio. Then they'll be in Cincinnati at the Commonwealth. Cincinnati at the Commonwealth Sanctuary tomorrow night and Sunday sanctuary at Hilarities in Cleveland. We were discussing an odd thing in the news here. Do you have the story? This is from the. The Minnesota Star Tribune, and it's about nude swimming in schools by the nude swim in Minnesota, Right?
Pat Godwin
Yeah. According to the Minnesota Star Tribune.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
The tradition of nude swimming in schools was endured by male students until the 1970s.
Tom Griswold
Endured by some, enjoyed by others, especially the spectator.
Chick McGee
Wait a minute. Whose voice is that?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, who are we doing?
Tom Griswold
Jesse Ventura.
Jess Hooker
Oh.
Chick McGee
Oh, I knew. I recognized that. That's really good.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. That and. And anybody in Fargo, except for the chemo and. And the blonde.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
One 1965 graduate of St. Louis Park High School in Minnesota told the newspaper of his experience of diving into the deep end of the pool totally exposed and unable to swim.
Tom Griswold
Oh, no.
Pat Godwin
So being naked was just. Just one part of it.
Jess Hooker
Well, that.
Tom Griswold
So much vulnerability.
Jess Hooker
He should have. He should have told somebody.
Pat Godwin
An octogenarian reader wrote about nude swimming at his junior high in Ohio, saying, I felt humiliated, if not traumatized, having to be naked in front of my contemporaries.
Jess Hooker
Now, you didn't have nude swimming at Columbia, but you had to swim to graduate, isn't that right?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Oh, okay.
Chick McGee
You had to swim. I forget what it was though, right? No, no, no, no. I mean, no, this was a thing at a lot of boys schools and summer camps. And again the explanation, when we talked about this years ago, several coaches and.
Jess Hooker
People, it was stunning how many people had heard of it and participated.
Chick McGee
Yeah. And the, the main reason that it was apparently because the lockers were those metal lockers and they would. With a wet bathing system, they would all rust.
Jess Hooker
Yep.
Chick McGee
So this was the solution.
Pat Godwin
Not all contributors had a terrible experience.
Tom Griswold
Sure.
Pat Godwin
76 year old Bruce Seal of Falcon Heights remembered that his PE instructor was known to yell. All right boys, I want to see those periscopes.
Chick McGee
Okay, well wait a second. So that I assume then that they're doing the backstroke. Is that what's happening here?
Pat Godwin
Oh yeah.
Chick McGee
The periscope is the junk.
Tom Griswold
Come on, chub up, boys.
Jess Hooker
Chop it up. Let's go.
Chick McGee
I mean, that's kind of funny, but.
Pat Godwin
The, that is really would not fly today.
Jess Hooker
To this day I can't watch Crimson Tide. Do you know that? I just can't do it. Even though Gene Hackman's in it.
Chick McGee
Oh, don't bring that up. Yeah, so now you can bring up whatever you want. Was there a. Oh, I know. Adding an element of sorrow to a comical life.
Jess Hooker
It was murder, plain and simple.
Chick McGee
Sorrow. Is there a equivalent of this for the ladies?
Pat Godwin
There's not. I don't. I mean I didn't have that experience. But we also didn't have a pool until my senior year of high school.
Chick McGee
What about in the shot was showering with gym class?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, we have, we had the option to shower.
Chick McGee
Was it a group shower?
Pat Godwin
It was a group shower. And there were option.
Chick McGee
There was no option. When I grow up.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, there was. When I did. They changed it. They loosened up a little bit.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, there was an option and. But there were also a couple of stalls at the end that if you did want to be alone, you could be. Ah, but there was just a.
Jess Hooker
Did it ever happen to you or did you ever hear about it happening? That scene in Carrie where she gets her time of the month in the shower and everybody. Well, all the other girls.
Pat Godwin
I'm familiar with the movie.
Jess Hooker
Throw tampons at her.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, yeah, no, I. Fortunately I, I didn't go to school with any girls like that.
Tom Griswold
Oh, that's mean.
Jess Hooker
But yeah, the other aspect of this, girls were mean.
Chick McGee
The, the, the element of this. That's Interesting. There's a coming of age element to this whole thing about the physicality of. Yeah. You know, having puberty come late, which happened to me. And at my high school, it was group shower, so it was incredibly humiliating.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, it was.
Chick McGee
And it's my hatred of jocks comes from that.
Pat Godwin
Oh, okay. Okay.
Jess Hooker
Did you say you were the latest?
Chick McGee
Yeah. Wow.
Pat Godwin
I was middle of the road, but I always remember. So you would. You would get to gym and you'd have to change into your gym uniform.
Jess Hooker
Right.
Pat Godwin
You want me to talk slower? But it was. It was. But the big thing was changing into your sports brawl. And the girls who had already blossomed.
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Pat Godwin
They didn't have any problem taking that stuff off and putting it. Yeah, they were pretty proud of what they had. As they should have been.
Chick McGee
And for girls, that's a. That's an interesting thing because you don't even have to be in the shower to have. No. But, yeah, they turn a certain age and all of a sudden that starts happening, and I'm sure there's a whole mental.
Jess Hooker
Just ripe for hazing. It has to be, right?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. But were you ever hazed, Josh?
Tom Griswold
Not hazed, per se. No. But teased and bullied.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. 100.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, it happened.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
That's why if I ever took a shower. I never took showers at school. If I did, I would have been happily nude from the waist down, but I would have wore a shirt the whole time.
Chick McGee
Yeah, well, I had the shirt.
Tom Griswold
Yep.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Chick McGee
Major football hazing over here, boy. Yeah, because you had pubic hair early on.
Jess Hooker
Oh.
Tom Griswold
I didn't care about the pubes or the penis size or anything like that. Yeah. I wanted people to see. To look at my naughty bits.
Chick McGee
This is taking a turn. Let's get back to the horrific murder. Never. Never. Yeah, this is a. I mean, the nude. Nude swimming thing. I got a text here saying it happened to me at downtown ymca. We had to swim naked. I never went back. And again, it's obviously at a downtown ymca. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Questionable. Long time in terms of ethics as well.
Jess Hooker
Right?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I mean, and at the ymca. How do you know it's a YMCA employee or. Or a swim instructor?
Tom Griswold
Hey, hey, you can't get in there without clothes on.
Jess Hooker
Hey, you gotta take your clothes off. Art. Didn't I see you out in front sleeping on a piece of cardboard? No, that wasn't me.
Tom Griswold
Oh. That was my brother. Now take it off.
Chick McGee
Take it off. I don't know. We were going swimming, went to the YMCA. We went with our. Our drama teacher, Mr. Mr. McPicky.
Jess Hooker
Mr. McPicky.
Chick McGee
And he just wanted everybody to go for a dance. How dare you talk about drama instructors. He took off. Took off his black turtleneck. I have never seen in any of these letters. I don't know if the. When all the boys had to swim naked, if the instructors. I assume they. I assume that the adults wore bathing suits. One would think.
Pat Godwin
I don't ever. I guess when I picture it, the instructors are on the side of the pool or they're not in the water.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. With, like, the whistle and their coaches.
Chick McGee
They probably got gym shorts on.
Tom Griswold
A T shirt, right?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
That would be really awkward.
Pat Godwin
That would be awkward. But didn't someone tell a story that a coach showered with. Was that you?
Jess Hooker
My. My football coach and all. Well, all the coaches showered with us.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yep.
Pat Godwin
All right.
Tom Griswold
Just huge rods.
Jess Hooker
Manly man.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
I remember a sagginess going on.
Jess Hooker
Sagginess. Although, when I was a freshman, we had this one guy, and he was an amazing athlete. He was. As a freshman. 6 2. 2. 35. Looked like chiseled. Was he just chiseled? Never worked a day. Never worked out a second. And ran the 40 and 42 or what? It was unbelievable.
Chick McGee
Won the genetic lottery.
Tom Griswold
When do you have your man's penis? Like, I. I'm trying to picture 17. And is it like 17 and a half when you. When you. Like. This is as. This is it now.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
Oh, and it finally grows.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, it's growing.
Chick McGee
Manly. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I don't.
Chick McGee
I think there's a. There's a large space there for some. It's some guy in the sixth grade. You know, you've seen some of these athletes.
Tom Griswold
I see what you're saying.
Chick McGee
Some of these high school guys that look like they're 40. Right. But there's also those of us that arrive late in the world of puberty.
Jess Hooker
Did you ever have a chance to see your father ready for action?
Tom Griswold
Not ready for action.
Jess Hooker
Ready for action.
Tom Griswold
But I saw him naked, by the way.
Jess Hooker
Excuse me. I did.
Chick McGee
Could we. Oh, dear. So I was trying to cut it off at the past.
Jess Hooker
I was kind of.
Tom Griswold
Dear.
Chick McGee
Ladies and gentlemen. Angry. I was really trying to not hear this story.
Jess Hooker
I was making noise downstairs, apparently. And my mom and dad were upstairs. I didn't know what they were doing. And he was so mad. He came to the top of the stairs.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Whoa.
Tom Griswold
Boy.
Jess Hooker
If you don't stop making noise down there. But I was throwing her off, I'm guessing. Or something. I tried to get this over with.
Chick McGee
Could have been worse. He didn't hit you with it.
Jess Hooker
I can only. I can only imagine. That had to be like cracking a safe. You know what I mean? Okay.
Chick McGee
Well, boy, if anyone out there.
Jess Hooker
It's not doing it.
Chick McGee
If anyone out there listening had an experience with this to. I wonder if there's probably. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some private school or camp that still does this. Well, very private.
Pat Godwin
Did you guys have to get checked by your gym?
Jess Hooker
Just a physical. Physical we got.
Pat Godwin
But were you. You were naked, right, For a nurse?
Jess Hooker
No, we were down to underwear.
Chick McGee
And then you drop it.
Jess Hooker
You'd pull them down and then you put them.
Chick McGee
Yeah. The way they did. I can remember they. You. You'd line up. Yeah. And then there was a guy with a clipboard.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
And then the guy. The doctor next to him. And they'd walk down and do the.
Jess Hooker
And the doctor was smoking, most likely.
Chick McGee
Head to the left, turn your head and cough.
Pat Godwin
So the most. The closest thing that we had for that was our scoliosis test.
Tom Griswold
Same. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
And.
Jess Hooker
Oh, really?
Pat Godwin
Yeah. And I remember that it was just a female PE Teacher in the female nurse. Because we would have to bend over and touch our. Touch our toes.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Pat Godwin
And they would have to check your back.
Jess Hooker
Touch your toes.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah, that was the test.
Chick McGee
Just your back.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, they would just check our back for school.
Chick McGee
Naked, though.
Pat Godwin
No, we weren't naked. Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
Tom Griswold
Wait. Did you have to take your shirt off?
Pat Godwin
We did. We had to draw on.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Right. Right.
Chick McGee
Nothing.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, no, that's. Yeah. I'm. I'm very fortunate, it sounds like.
Chick McGee
But yeah, once I. I would be very curious if there was a. If there were any private schools that were still doing the boys have to swim naked thing.
Tom Griswold
Oh. Maybe if you're like in the skulls or something.
Pat Godwin
I mean.
Chick McGee
I mean, I can see. Well, if you want joined the clergy, I'm a swim coach, and you want.
Jess Hooker
To join our gang, you gotta go rob a liquor store naked.
Chick McGee
All right.
Jess Hooker
Don't ask any question. Just do it.
Chick McGee
I just wonder if there's a. This is. Okay, this is some very odd speculation.
Jess Hooker
All right.
Chick McGee
This news article. It's this news article. What does it say? It says that the. The. The naked swimming in Minnesota went on until the early 70s.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Chick McGee
And that's when it stopped. I wonder if this. Does this parallel the Watergate situation?
Tom Griswold
It might.
Chick McGee
No, the. The integration. The.
Jess Hooker
The integration being elected.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Jess Hooker
Sorry.
Tom Griswold
Oh, that's interesting.
Chick McGee
Does it parallel the integration of schools?
Tom Griswold
I mean, I don't think so. Yeah, you would hope there wouldn't be a relate any kind of correlation there for any reason.
Chick McGee
Yeah, I mean he just kept. All of a sudden they, you know.
Tom Griswold
We can't have these poor white bastards.
Chick McGee
That seems to be a, seems to be a trend here.
Jess Hooker
Well, evidently the white boys don't have every advantage.
Chick McGee
A lot of crying in the cafeteria from over there. I guess they just came from Jim.
Jess Hooker
And I didn't, I didn't have to go through that at my school. It was a small town and we were, we were pretty much 50. 50. It was very integrated.
Chick McGee
Really.
Tom Griswold
Oh good, good. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Absolutely. Yep.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, absolutely. I mean for. Of course. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
We were very.
Pat Godwin
No, not my school.
Jess Hooker
Very open.
Tom Griswold
Oh sorry.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Very, very open minded, free thinking. Way, way ahead of our time.
Chick McGee
My elementary school was like, like an episode of Leave it to Beaver.
Pat Godwin
So was mine.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Well if anyone's had any experience with this naked swimming thing, by all means let us know. Bob and tom. Bob and tom.com.
Jess Hooker
Now let's dredge up some uncomfortable memories.
Chick McGee
I remember last we talked about it many years ago when we had a lot of, a lot of guys that had experienced it.
Jess Hooker
Sure did.
Chick McGee
So I just like to hear it. It's an interesting, interesting topic. Coming up we have is your name your destiny involving a house of prostitution? We have a unbelievably weird name that some kid was given. Yeah, I don't know how this happens.
Tom Griswold
Is it Flipbits?
Chick McGee
That's a weird no. That would be better.
Pat Godwin
Oh, okay.
Jess Hooker
Farquhar, Tooty, Tootie, huffpuff.
Chick McGee
Those are all reasonable. Wow. Compared to this one. Right now the Bob and Tom show is sponsored by Better Help. Better Help is all about accessing therapy in a more convenient manner. And one of the things I think is really interesting about this is if you've. One of the hurdles about getting therapy has always been ah, I'm not sure I can go to sit in a room with somebody I don't know and I'm not sure I can talk to them. This is a way of really kind of easing your way into therapy because everything is done online so that one element of therapy is not there which may make you more comfortable and may get you into it. What I'm talking about is the fact that the therapy is done online. So the way it works is you fill out a very brief take, just a few minutes, fill out a questionnaire and then associated with better help are some 30,000 plus credentialed therapists with a wide range of specialties. You'll be matched with a therapist, by the way, you can switch anytime, no extra cost. And then it's all about convenience because you can do it where you want to do it. You could be quite literally in your car, parked outside your office, or you could be in your, you could be anywhere because you can do it on your phone or a laptop or a desktop. It's up to you. It's all about convenience and accessibility. Better help if you've been thinking about therapy and you could be dealing with issues with, I don't know, your marriage or dating or working on yourself, from relationships to whatever it might be, therapy can be great and just try it out. Betterhelp.com btshow just to get some information. By the way, if you use the BTShow, it's 10% off your first month. So you've been thinking about it, but this can make it a little bit easier for you. Betterhelp.com btshow and I'll spell it out because I'm stumbling over my own words today. BetterHelp H E L P betterhelp.com BTShow Once again, coming up, some really interesting stuff and a song from Mr. Godwin on a theme that we've been covering over and over and over. Plus, we've got the boyfriend being locked in a storage unit and other delights. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios and this is the Bob and Tom Show.

Jess Hooker
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Top Show. Josh Arnold, Ace Cosby, Jess Hooker. There's Pat Godwin, Willie Griswold and also comedian Tommy Brennan. Up this morning, we'll talk with them. Talking about showering in high school.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. There was again. There was. There was an article in the Minnesota Star Tribune about a lot of schools back in the day. The boys Would swim naked. They were. They wouldn't. They weren't allowed to bring swimsuits to school. This apparently, once again, was phased out in the 70s, and understandably so. And my question is, does that correlate with the integration of American schools?
Tom Griswold
Funny, I don't think it does.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Chick McGee
Just. Just.
Tom Griswold
I think the notion is sort of humorous.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Can you see that. Can you see that in a movie where they're. They go to the office by the pool? I'll tell you what. I don't know if you saw Lamar yesterday. I think it's time that we. We gave the kids bathing suits. We have to get to our letters segment. I'm sorry. We didn't get to it yet.
Jess Hooker
That's right. It's time for letters. Welcome to Letters brought to you by Hyundai.
Tom Griswold
Song's always been always silly. I love it.
Jess Hooker
I love this.
Tom Griswold
You really, like, honestly enjoy it?
Jess Hooker
Yeah, I really do.
Tom Griswold
Wow.
Jess Hooker
Hyundai helps protect you and your family on the road. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Hyundai. We put your safety first and everything else second. That's Hyundai.
Chick McGee
Thank you very much.
Tom Griswold
I prefer girl from Ipanema if you're gonna go. Elevator music type.
Chick McGee
Very similar melody.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
As Tom would say, nobody asked you.
Chick McGee
I. I do love that song.
Tom Griswold
Would you like to start letters with a poem?
Jess Hooker
I really would, yes.
Tom Griswold
This comes to us from John from Maryland. He claims that rhymes with Michigan, therefore.
Jess Hooker
Oh, okay. Fair enough.
Tom Griswold
Thy winter's beard black, white and gray like the snow in parking lots that still lay. Could it be that spring is near now that Josh has shaved his beard. Thank you. You know what?
Chick McGee
That's.
Tom Griswold
That's very good.
Chick McGee
Really? The snow in the parking lot.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah. There.
Chick McGee
Going away. That dirty snow paints a picture.
Tom Griswold
Very nice.
Chick McGee
That's great. Oh, I. I'm not sure we can top that.
Tom Griswold
Well, he has another one, but we'll come. We'll. We'll let some letters go in between.
Jess Hooker
Oh, we got more. We got more poems.
Tom Griswold
We wanted another version. Yes.
Jess Hooker
Wow.
Chick McGee
I hope the word nantucket's in it. Would that be a great assignment for a poetry class? You have to use the word nantucket in a poem, and it has to be at the end of one of the stanzas, and it must be G rated. And your reading of said poem was brilliant.
Tom Griswold
Thank you.
Jess Hooker
This letter starred Dear numbskulls. Hi. Oh. Dear Numbskulls and Jessica. Longtime listener, first time emailer. I am from Michigan. We had a guy in our neighborhood who sold weed. He grew it in his basement and sold it on the side. He had A five foot long iguana named Bob. Last time I saw him, he was getting a life size tattoo of said Bob on his back.
Tom Griswold
Oh my gosh.
Jess Hooker
The lizard was like his family, that is. And then he says, go blue from Michigan. That's.
Chick McGee
Yeah, we've been getting the. The topic really was weed dealers that seem to always have these weird pets, you know.
Jess Hooker
And one thing we didn't talk about. Yeah, it's legal and the weed store, but they don't have the exotic, the, the personality. The strange pets that used to exist in the private weed business. All of that's going away.
Chick McGee
I wonder if you'd be allowed to. There's probably some health regulation. You can't have a, a monkey in your weed store.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Because what you wouldn't. I mean, if you, if you had, if you had like five legal weed places, you'd always want to go to the place that the monkey.
Jess Hooker
Right, Absolutely. Well, you'd know that there'd be a danger of the monkey getting in the weed.
Pat Godwin
There's a shoe store here in town that has a parrot. And that's why I go, yeah, that.
Tom Griswold
Shoe store has a parrot.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Chick McGee
And not only does.
Jess Hooker
It's a great shoe store.
Chick McGee
I didn't know about that. And at the time, I don't know if the parrot's still in the same place, but the parrot was right by the door.
Pat Godwin
Yes.
Chick McGee
Guess the first time I walked in there, that parrot squawked so loud I wasn't wearing brown cordovans, but I was wearing them. Scared the be Jesus out of me.
Tom Griswold
Scared the excited to see Tom Griswold, radio legend.
Chick McGee
That's the place that has the bins.
Pat Godwin
Yes.
Chick McGee
You know when you go to a dry cleaner, they have those, those machines that, that circulate the clothes that aren't flying around in the racks. Yeah, they have that for shoes.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
So these little baskets go flying around the ceiling. It's really cool.
Pat Godwin
The oldest shoe store here in.
Chick McGee
Yeah, they should.
Tom Griswold
How about that?
Chick McGee
They, they should. They should get a government grant to keep it open forever because it's so cool.
Pat Godwin
It is very cool. Style spouts, shoes.
Chick McGee
It's great.
Jess Hooker
But I know for a fact they have men's size pumps.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah, they don't.
Tom Griswold
Well, no. I'm happy to hear about it. Will you.
Jess Hooker
Size 15, size 14.
Tom Griswold
Glad to know it.
Chick McGee
That's a man's size.
Tom Griswold
How do you know?
Jess Hooker
Well, that's what I was aiming at.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. There's some humor here that at first Jess tried to trample on.
Chick McGee
Your comedy. Tom, we have. We had a letter earlier this week about the. Is it. Is the. Is the documentary called Becoming Led Zeppelin? Is that what it is?
Jess Hooker
Yes, Becoming Led Zeppelin. I'm eagerly awaiting for it on, on the tv. Should be streaming any day.
Chick McGee
I think it is, isn't it?
Jess Hooker
I, I don't think it's still in theaters. I think.
Chick McGee
Okay. And it's. It's a. What do you call it? Authorized documentary with the participation of the three remaining members of Led Zeppelin. And at one point, Jimmy Page talks about. Jimmy Page, as a kid was a session musician in London. He played on a lot of very famous songs. You'd be very surprised that he played on. But he mentions that he did play on the song Goldfinger from the James Bond movies. Although that is, that is not him playing the bomb, but a bump, bump. You know, he does the lead on Stairway to Heaven.
Tom Griswold
Oh, he does. I don't know about.
Chick McGee
People know that.
Tom Griswold
I'm not sure if that's the case.
Jess Hooker
You know, a lot of people called Robert Plant Bobby. And a lot of people call John Paul Jones Jack. Did you know that?
Tom Griswold
Oh, we must have an email about this.
Jess Hooker
And Bonzo was the drummer. He's dead.
Chick McGee
Okay, let's see. Now that we've derailed the topic. Oh, but we were discussing Goldfinger and I was explaining Holy cow to Ms. Hooker.
Tom Griswold
That was the prelude. Okay, all right. He played on Goldfinger.
Jess Hooker
This is the longest setup ever. Congratulations.
Chick McGee
A four hour show.
Jess Hooker
I know. Congratulations.
Chick McGee
This is the only good letter I've got so far. People out there, come on, step up. More poetry.
Tom Griswold
I've got it.
Chick McGee
I was explaining that in the movie Goldfinger, the, the, the lead, the femme fatale, if you will, her name is Pussy Galore.
Pat Godwin
Yes.
Chick McGee
And I've always thought, even as a, even as a little boy when I was seeing that thing for the first time, like really got this letter. Apparently Ian Fleming also wrote Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Jess Hooker
Oh, yeah, that's right.
Chick McGee
Which was also produced by Albert Broccoli. That's a movie with Dick Van Dyke, Benny Hill, by the way, it wasn't Dyke.
Jess Hooker
Van Dyke.
Chick McGee
No, there. There was a character in that with the name truly scrumptious. So it's not as smutty as Pussy Galore.
Tom Griswold
No, it's a child.
Chick McGee
Again, it's a stretch.
Jess Hooker
I see Ian Fleming writing that name and laughing like anything truly scrumptious or galore. Both of them just thought he was Mr. Wit and then was.
Chick McGee
And then one of the other Bond girls was plenty O'Toole.
Pat Godwin
I remember that one. Yeah.
Chick McGee
What are the ones they rejected? That's what I wanted to know.
Pat Godwin
Yikes.
Chick McGee
You know Beverly Snatchellini. What were the. What? What didn't get by lady, huh?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
What didn't get by the censors. We have a poem when we come back.
Tom Griswold
Yes, we do.
Chick McGee
Is it from the same gent?
Tom Griswold
It is.
Chick McGee
Oh, but I'm looking forward to. Because that was great. Once again, we are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios and this is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jess Hooker
Thanks for listening to the Bob and Tom show this morning. The show is also out there for.
Chick McGee
You on our YouTube channel.

Tom Griswold
It's like Drake versus the World. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
You first met Prince.
Chick McGee
You were driving for him before you.
Jess Hooker
Were drumming coming for him. That's correct.
Chick McGee
Stevie Wonder.
Josh Arnold
You kind of have to understand how Stevie began.
Chick McGee
White radio. That's where the money was. That's where it still is. Rolling Stone music.
Tom Griswold
Now follow and listen on your favorite platform.
Chick McGee
Learn basketball.
Jess Hooker
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. Jess Hooker at the Silac Insurance news desk.
Pat Godwin
Hello.
Jess Hooker
There's Pat Godwin Jackson. There's Josh Arnold.
Tom Griswold
Hi Chick.
Jess Hooker
Willie Griswold and Tommy Brennan. Comedians join us later this morning. There's Ace Cosby speaking of comedians. I'm what?
Tom Griswold
Speaking of comedians.
Jess Hooker
Oh, speaking of comedians, I'm Chick Magee. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios and. Hello, Tom, how are you?
Chick McGee
I'm fine. I say it's time for an early dose of that Ace Cosby.
Jess Hooker
Is that right?
Chick McGee
Ace Cosby comedy, ladies and gentlemen.
Pat Godwin
With a deep V. Cuz here he is with his joke of the day.
Tom Griswold
Hey, Chick.
Jess Hooker
Please hold for Chick McGee.
Tom Griswold
Oh boy, he must be busy. The other room maybe getting.
Jess Hooker
Yes, Ace. I'm sorry. Excuse me.
Tom Griswold
Chick.
Jess Hooker
Knock knock. Knock knock. Who's there?
Tom Griswold
Dishes.
Jess Hooker
Dishes who?
Tom Griswold
Dishes.
Chick McGee
Sean Connory.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. All right. I didn't see it, Colin.
Chick McGee
I. I like that. It's got an accent. A N delivery. In spite of a chicks reluctance to participate.
Jess Hooker
I didn't hate it.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
All right, well, joke seven.
Chick McGee
There you go. Very good, Ace.
Pat Godwin
Aces joke of the day brought to you by Sleep Number bed. Sleep better together. Say 40% on the new sleep number special edition Smart bed for a limited time exclusively at a Sleep number store.
Chick McGee
That was. That was great. I kind of related to one of the themes we'd been discussing earlier a rare weaving of the joke of the day into the actual program, not to mention an excellent cure.
Jess Hooker
Cancer. Okay.
Chick McGee
It was very, very funny. We were talking about this news story about the boys that had to be swimming naked at camp and at school. And this is. Again, this was sort of phased out in the early 70s.
Jess Hooker
Kind of camp makes it kind of. That makes more sense to me somehow than doing it at your school.
Tom Griswold
It sounds more leisurely, less.
Pat Godwin
Oh, at camp.
Tom Griswold
Not. Maybe not one person going get naked.
Jess Hooker
Let's see those periscopes. Boys.
Pat Godwin
At. At camp, it's not organized by one of the counselors. Counselors?
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
It's like, hey, we're gonna. At 11pm tonight, we're gonna go skinny dinner.
Tom Griswold
Well, no, I bet in this case, though, it was organized back in the.
Chick McGee
Day in these schools. It was in because they didn't want the. Again the wet bathing suits to. To rust up the lockers. That's been the explanation. But this was done all across the country, and I asked for other witnesses. This comes to us from. We'll say, mister. Eh. We didn't have to swim naked at my high school, but our swim teacher sat in a chair and watched us as we would all get naked. We had to huddle in a transitional area between the locker room and the showers. Once we were all naked, and only until everyone was naked, would the teacher make his way through the huddle where the school would issue speedos, he would size you up and then hand you your swimsuit. I am traumatized to this day.
Tom Griswold
I mean, that is awful.
Pat Godwin
Maybe we should stop reading.
Jess Hooker
That's really.
Chick McGee
No, but I mean, I think.
Pat Godwin
I feel like we might be triggered.
Tom Griswold
Let's say even that guy's the most innocent man on the planet, this coach. Let's just say that's for the sake of argument.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Still traumatizing.
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Holy heck. Heck.
Pat Godwin
I mean, anytime that we've had to get uniforms for our kids, we just fill out a form that says they wear a medium, they wear a large, and we send it back.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Pat Godwin
There isn't any stats.
Tom Griswold
That's how we ordered our gym.
Pat Godwin
Sizing. Anything. Yeah, yeah.
Chick McGee
Now, did you have a group shower?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, we did. And. And, yeah, in both, actually. In high school, I did summer PE so I wouldn't have to take PE during the school year.
Chick McGee
But that's how traumatizing.
Tom Griswold
I didn't know that was an option.
Pat Godwin
It. For us, it wasn't. Everybody did it, and it was a blast. Like, we went to all these Parks and did all these things outdoors.
Tom Griswold
That's fun.
Pat Godwin
And we. Yeah. One day we would, like, ride our bikes all through the county on the county roads, and it was. It was a blast. But nobody had to shower because we were there, and we would just go home after. Yeah.
Chick McGee
And you didn't want to have to be part of the group shower?
Pat Godwin
No, I. I mean, I. No, I didn't. I. There's.
Chick McGee
Have you ever in your life taken a group shower? Shower?
Pat Godwin
No, I haven't.
Tom Griswold
There aren't many calls for it.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. For the girls.
Tom Griswold
Girl.
Chick McGee
Some of the older. Some of the older gyms and older schools have.
Tom Griswold
Oh, sure. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Well, now, in college, if we were getting ready to go out. So that is. The closest thing is the dorms would be the group shower, but they still had stalls.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Pat Godwin
And so we were able to get in and out, but when we moved into a house off campus, we would be getting ready to go to a party or going to a fraternity, and there would be a lot of girls just coming in and out of the shower at once, but there were never two of us in the shower at the same time.
Tom Griswold
I see.
Pat Godwin
I'm sorry to wreck that for you guys.
Chick McGee
No, no, no.
Tom Griswold
I know how.
Jess Hooker
I think Pat's gonna slide out of his chair here.
Chick McGee
Okay. Pat. Awfully quiet right now.
Jess Hooker
The football team, the athletic teams, now, they shower together, Right. Or there are. Is everything. Everything a single stall?
Chick McGee
It depends.
Jess Hooker
I mean, the group showers still exist, right?
Pat Godwin
You never see the shower part when they're doing the post game interview. You only see the locker room.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. The NFL, they have to have a group shower.
Chick McGee
Not necessarily. They may have stalls. You know, at our gym, it's rather groupish. And I. Yeah, but that intimidates me. At our gym, they do have stall walls.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Curtain.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Chick McGee
There's no.
Tom Griswold
There's a lot of nudity.
Chick McGee
But at my high school, there were, you know, whatever. Eight.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Pat Godwin
Shower.
Chick McGee
Call it Shower heads on the wall. And there were no dividers. Yeah. I had no problem with that. Now it's.
Pat Godwin
You see a lot of naked guys.
Tom Griswold
A lot of them.
Jess Hooker
That's really.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Well, Tom goes there.
Jess Hooker
I.
Chick McGee
And I told. I've told you this before.
Jess Hooker
I still don't believe it, but you stick to this story.
Chick McGee
I saw a guy drying his pubic hair with a hair dryer there.
Jess Hooker
He puts it up on it. Puts it up on the sink.
Pat Godwin
What?
Chick McGee
And there's some guy that thinks he should be a coach in the NBA that never shuts up and talks real loud about what's wrong with the. I know you're talking about. Oh, gee. And he's always completely naked, walking. Okay, great. Sir, please. In the sun Sauna.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
God. Shut up.
Jess Hooker
Boy, there's nothing worse than going to the sauna. And there's just one guy in there.
Tom Griswold
There's all.
Chick McGee
It's the same. It's the guy he's talking about.
Tom Griswold
I hate.
Jess Hooker
No good. No.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Silence.
Jess Hooker
The same as if you go into a bathroom and there's one guy at the urinal. You don't go right next to him and you don't say anything. Go at least two urinals between you.
Pat Godwin
Do you guys have a window in your sauna?
Jess Hooker
No.
Pat Godwin
We have a window. It's much like the studio windows here. And there's a guy at our sauna and he will. He'll put his phone on the outside of the sauna so it won't overheat and then he'll listen with his earbuds.
Tom Griswold
Oh, that's fine.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I think it's the thing. Yeah.
Chick McGee
You're not bothered as long as he's not videotaped.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
So you have a co ed sauna.
Pat Godwin
We do, yeah. Yeah, we do.
Jess Hooker
Really? I know we are. My sauna. Mine is just on the men's side. And then I. I assume there's one on the lady's side.
Pat Godwin
No, it's right out. The steam room and the sauna are right outside of the pool, so. Yeah. And it has windows. And I'm guessing that's why it has windows, because it's co ed.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Son of a guy.
Chick McGee
We have time to squeeze in a quick sports story from Chick McGee at the sports desk.
Jess Hooker
Will you look in here and see what's going on at the sauna? Holy heck, I've got a letter. First of all, Today is Friday, February 28th. Happy birthday, Donnie Iris.
Tom Griswold
All right.
Jess Hooker
That's right.
Tom Griswold
Terrific song.
Jess Hooker
It's got three or four songs in one. Man.
Chick McGee
Great song. Happy birthday to my Kelly Happy birthday, Kel.
Pat Godwin
Really?
Jess Hooker
No kidding. I was not 29th, but the 28th.
Chick McGee
25 years old. Yeah. She's been sick for the last.
Jess Hooker
Oh, no.
Chick McGee
36 hours.
Tom Griswold
Oh, no.
Chick McGee
She feels better, so I had to sleep in the guest room, so. So it's kind of a good present for her.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. I have a birthday, too. Happy birthday to my dad, David.
Tom Griswold
Hello, David. Happy birthday.
Chick McGee
Now, since Today is the 28th.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Was your dad. Were his parents concerned?
Pat Godwin
They were. Genuinely. Yeah.
Chick McGee
That if it happened to be a leap year, I only have a Birthday every four years. There are people. I was actually talking to Baby Doc about that. There are people who, if they're on a leap year, if their kid looks like it's going to land there, they'll induce.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, they'll schedule.
Chick McGee
They don't want it to be in the 29th.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, my dad was late, so.
Chick McGee
Yeah, so it was close.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, it was close.
Jess Hooker
Okay, you guys are talking about weed dealers. My weed dealer was a farmer. He grew all he sold. Very good quality. Planted it in with his corn. Oh.
Tom Griswold
Farm to pipe.
Jess Hooker
He always. That's right.
Chick McGee
But very nice.
Jess Hooker
He carried one of those long zip up wallets, always full of cash. One spring, while he was planting his corn and his weed, the wallet fell out of his pocket and he accidentally plowed it under.
Tom Griswold
Oh, man.
Jess Hooker
There was over $10,000 in it. It was never found. Oh, my gosh. That's from Ron.
Chick McGee
No.
Tom Griswold
If you looked out in all the corn. We're wearing jewelry and fur coats. I don't know if that's how it.
Jess Hooker
Works, but I'd like to think it is.
Tom Griswold
You want to hear the second poem?
Jess Hooker
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
What do you got? Who's this from again?
Tom Griswold
This comes to us from John. Now, the first poem we read, if you heard it, it was an AABB type rhyme scheme. Rhyme scheme. This a little more complicated. This guy knows what he's doing.
Jess Hooker
All right?
Tom Griswold
So bear with me. It's not going to be necessarily your traditional ABAB or aabb.
Chick McGee
Okay, but it's there, the rhymes. Eventually.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Thy winter's beard on Josh's face, much like the one that doth grace the mug of Ed Septic, though his resin stained, still attached to his face, while Arnold's half shaven and gone down the drain. Here's an idea one could entertain. Use a fake beard to smuggle cocaine. Thank you.
Chick McGee
You know what this guy is?
Jess Hooker
Now I have to check with Tom, but he's the unofficial poet laureate. That is the Bob and Tom show.
Chick McGee
And the fact that much like Ace's joke, it invol involves a recent news story. Yeah, about the guy with the cocaine underneath the wig.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Jess Hooker
Fantastic.
Chick McGee
Then I got in trouble for.
Tom Griswold
I think that's what John was doing quoting British slang.
Pat Godwin
Which one?
Chick McGee
The I. I. A friend of mine who grew up cockney in. In London, he always used the term Irish. That's a nuts look at the Irish on that guy.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Then I found out that a lot of cockney slang is a rhyme thing to it and it involves an Irish dance and the word wig. I'm not going to say it again because. Okay, but he would always look at the Irish on that guy. It's unbelievable. But right now we're going to get to the sports desk. Oh, wait a minute.
Jess Hooker
But first I need to tell you about Simply Safe. The do it yourself home security system. That's right. According to the FBI, every 26 seconds a burglary takes place in the U.S. while I'm telling you about Simply Safe, two burglaries will take place. Chick McGee
Thank you very much, Chick McGee. Coming up in the world of golf, a stunning event. And also there are alligators. Sometimes they're not just on the shirts for golfers we'll find out about At a PGA event there's a Gatorade. Plus we have perhaps the dumbest name someone gave a human being. And a great stunt coming up in the news. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios and this is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jess Hooker
Okay, I don't think I'll ever recover from that. Josh just bent over and kissed Pat Godwin on the head. I can't. I can't stand it.
Pat Godwin
I've never been so turned on.
Jess Hooker
I kissed him back.
Chick McGee
It felt so good. Okay. Good God, Tom, you're next. Who's who here?
Pat Godwin
You should be relieved, Jeffy.
Jess Hooker
That you Jess Hooker over there at the Silac Insurance news desk.
Pat Godwin
Who's kissing next?
Jess Hooker
And have you and me, baby.
Pat Godwin
All right, let's go and have a hot coffee.
Jess Hooker
Robust coffee. There's Pat Godwin. There's Josh Arnold.
Tom Griswold
Hello.
Jess Hooker
Ace Cosby's here.
Tom Griswold
Do women like that?
Pat Godwin
What Kiss. Tongue kiss.
Jess Hooker
No, I mean man kiss. A lot of guys.
Tom Griswold
Guys like two girls doing whatever.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
I've never heard.
Pat Godwin
I don't particularly care for it in terms of being aroused. I mean, I'll watch Josh and Pat kiss all day, but it's a spectacle.
Tom Griswold
Sure.
Chick McGee
I got a little throw up in my throat. We know what we're doing.
Jess Hooker
We've been around.
Pat Godwin
No, I, I love that they love each other.
Jess Hooker
They have been around. They have been around.
Chick McGee
Possibly clean the slate. Hey, Tom may have to do a bonus Ace Cosby joke of the day.
Jess Hooker
Why would we do that?
Chick McGee
Because the first one was so good.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah.
Chick McGee
But now it's to dip our toes into the world of sports with Chick Magee. What have you got?
Jess Hooker
Steph Curry had 56, made 12 three pointers. He's very good.
Chick McGee
I'll say.
Jess Hooker
And Golden State wins 121, 115 last night over Orlando in Florida. One note from the NFL. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelsey does plan to play next season. There had been speculation that he was might retire after the Chiefs losing the Super Bowl. The 35 year old Kelsey though, had been mulling. He was pondering his 13th season. But apparently he texted our buddy Pat McAfee yesterday and told via text that I am coming back for sure for a 13th season. All right, so there you go and way to go, Travis. And speaking of Travis, the NFL also.
Tom Griswold
Had to have been like, thank goodness.
Jess Hooker
Things have been quiet on the Taylor and Travis front ever since the Chiefs got blown out in the Super Bowl. According to reports online, there is a reason for the relative silence. According to rumors, they're rethinking their future. Travis and Taylor, after a heartbreaking weekend at the super bowl made them reevaluate their relationship.
Tom Griswold
I don't. Does anybody believe any of this?
Pat Godwin
I don't, I don't believe.
Tom Griswold
Why would we?
Jess Hooker
Taylor Swift was absolutely shocked and saddened when she got booed at the Super Bowl.
Pat Godwin
I would hope wasn't.
Jess Hooker
I would hope that someone would explain that too.
Tom Griswold
Right, right.
Pat Godwin
No, she wasn't. She did the perfect side eye to the camera when they started booing her.
Tom Griswold
Well, yeah, but she could do that in public. You know, she could be. We don't know how she really felt.
Jess Hooker
It was heavy.
Tom Griswold
She's a performer.
Jess Hooker
It was heavy Eagles and that's the only reason she was getting booed. So rumor has it she's trying to keep a low profile. And is.
Tom Griswold
Is there a chance? I mean, I'm just speculating here. Certainly she's Real, real tired. Her tour recently ended that. Well, lasted what, three and a half years or something?
Chick McGee
Yeah. How about leaving her alone for. No kidding? Give her a break.
Pat Godwin
What if. What if.
Jess Hooker
What if.
Pat Godwin
What if she doesn't like the kind of loser Travis is? Oh, when you see someone fail or have to go through hardship, what if he's a big baby and she's like.
Chick McGee
You think she's that shallow?
Pat Godwin
No, I don't. Maybe. Yeah.
Chick McGee
The most important thing is, can she write a really good song about this?
Jess Hooker
Do we have.
Chick McGee
Do we have the Kansas City Chiefs fight song handy? Maybe she can write some special lyrics for it. Oh, isn't she famous for writing songs about her breakups?
Pat Godwin
Always. Yeah. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Okay, well, weren't we talking about.
Tom Griswold
Things have been quiet on the travel and. I'm not talking about you, chick. The media, they're quiet because they're laying low.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, they just.
Jess Hooker
Well, and plus, people want an update and. Yeah. Here's the Kansas City Chiefs fight song, Tom. Wow.
Chick McGee
So dated.
Jess Hooker
The Chiefs are on the war bath. The Chiefs are on the war bath.
Chick McGee
I'm sorry I asked.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Taylor, please rewrite.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah, maybe. Maybe something a little bit. A little bit less.
Jess Hooker
Oh, you want to hear The Hartford Whalers? So 70s. Yeah, that's your Hartford Whalers.
Chick McGee
That sounds like a late 60s detective show.
Tom Griswold
That's good.
Jess Hooker
Miami Dolphins and the 18.
Chick McGee
We got a.
Tom Griswold
We got a Johnny Horton fan. All right.
Jess Hooker
Oh, yeah. God.
Chick McGee
Miami country.
Jess Hooker
Oh, Tom. Here you go. Cleveland Cavaliers. One of the best records in the NBA right now. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
If they don't play this now.
Jess Hooker
When I went to San Diego, we tried to.
Tom Griswold
Come on Cavs.
Jess Hooker
Come on, Cavs.
Tom Griswold
This is maybe. Maybe the best sports team song I've ever heard. No, no, it's wide.
Jess Hooker
Come on, cast. Make it happen. Make it happen.
Chick McGee
Keep on coming on.
Tom Griswold
Like, I would put this on a playlist. I would just listen to that.
Jess Hooker
So we went out and we tried to do another San Diego Chargers fight song. Like, have fun with it. And this is the one that people were up and they complained mostly about me. But actually, the new song we came up with, they hated because they like this one. San Diego Supercharger San Diego.
Chick McGee
This sounds like a Saturday morning cartoon about frogs that fight crime or something.
Tom Griswold
It sounds like it was hummed in many a rest stop on the West Coast.
Jess Hooker
Village People.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah.
Jess Hooker
On the. On the. You mean on the 5 at the Delmar exit. Taking a look at the ocean. Oh.
Tom Griswold
Sort of as.
Jess Hooker
Making some choices.
Tom Griswold
As a gentleman leaves his car and walks into the rest of.
Jess Hooker
That's right. And then he leaves his car, just walks into the ocean. Okay, and my favorite final, ladies and gentlemen, the best one, the Cincinnati Bengals fight song.
Tom Griswold
Pretty bad.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Somebody. It was somebody who was a tuba player that never, Never got. Got. Never got a good gig. And then finally I'm going to write a song where I'm playing bass.
Jess Hooker
You want to hear the Tigers fight song? You were a Tigers fan when you were a kid?
Chick McGee
I used to. Well, get away. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Ernie Harwell. And you like broadcasting. Go get him, Tiger.
Chick McGee
Oh.
Jess Hooker
Hey, we're all behind our baseball team.
Chick McGee
Go get Tiger. Wow.
Jess Hooker
World Series bound and picking up Steam Shaky's pizza.
Chick McGee
Go get him, Tigers. I hate that banjo. Oh, my God.
Jess Hooker
That is the classic.
Tom Griswold
It's good work, whoever that is.
Chick McGee
See the guy with a straw hat and those garter belts in his arms? Oh, God. Well, the straw hat's handy because it makes it easier to get that laser.in his head before you pull the trigger. Oh, sorry.
Jess Hooker
I don't know. Do we have the St. Louis Blues fight song? Is that up here?
Tom Griswold
That thing? You guys know me, a lifelong blues fan, and I'd never heard it until you played it on this show, so it's. It is not played.
Chick McGee
Oh, is that the one that was written by the guys from Head East? Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Why wouldn't they do a blues song? Wow.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
That's silliness.
Chick McGee
Sounds like a toothpaste commercial from the early 50s recorded on a cassette player.
Jess Hooker
You made the point that Gloria by Laura Brannigan. When the Blues Won the Cup. That was.
Tom Griswold
That was the song of that year. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
That was the rallying cry for St. Louis.
Tom Griswold
And I have no idea why it came up. I forget what the exact story, but yeah.
Jess Hooker
Also from the NFL. Tampa Bay Buccaneers say they are reinstating former coach Jon Gruden into their ring of honor. The move comes less than four years after they removed Coach Gruden from the ring.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, man.
Jess Hooker
Over his use of racist, homophobic and misogynistic language in emails. I said what I said to an NFL executive while he was a television analyst.
Tom Griswold
You guys like my Gruden?
Jess Hooker
Yeah, I do.
Tom Griswold
Caliento can eat it.
Jess Hooker
Reportedly, these.
Chick McGee
This is good news for Frank. He may be able to bring. Bring the impression back. Yeah, yeah.
Jess Hooker
Went to the former owner of Washington football team, Dan Snyder. And Dan. Well, according to reports, allegedly leaked them and caused this brew Hot. You miss him?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, man. He was doing. It was doing. I think he was misunderstood.
Jess Hooker
Can't even pretend what the hell are you from the NBA? Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will likely be suspended for one game after being ejected and picking up his, his 16th technical foul of the season.
Tom Griswold
Whoa, he's a goon, huh?
Jess Hooker
Sixteen, Tom. Doesn't that seem like too many? Sixteen technical.
Chick McGee
What, what, what's the tradition there?
Jess Hooker
Well, two and you gotta the game in one game. So you're not supposed to get any, Tom, you're supposed to be gentlemen. You're supposed to be a gentleman on the court. And that brings us to stupid world record. A pair of Brazilian illusionists have broken the Guinness World record for the fastest time to escape a straight jacket and box with an oncoming car driving toward the would be escapee.
Tom Griswold
Well, this is exciting. Is there no out at all, Tom.
Chick McGee
Do you know, I watched it.
Jess Hooker
This has got everything going for it.
Chick McGee
It looks like if the guy hadn't gotten out. The guy, it's like he's standing in a phone booth, like a plywood phone booth. There we go. Now there's a camera in the phone booth. You can see him. He's trying to get out of the straight jacket.
Jess Hooker
That's an upskirt shot.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, it is.
Chick McGee
And he, he gets out of the straight jacket. Then he, he reaches and unlocks the, unlocks the thing. But it looks like the guy driving the car, he, he waits until the guy starts to come out of the box before he smashes into it. So presumably if the guy were still in there, he could swerve and not kill him.
Tom Griswold
I don't, I don't care for that. It should have been a train on a track.
Chick McGee
That way there's no out.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, right, right.
Chick McGee
If you don't, if you don't get it, you're.
Jess Hooker
And the guy driving the car works for the guy in the box, right?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
See?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah.
Chick McGee
And this, I guess this is the fourth time they tried it.
Tom Griswold
Oh, and he, oh, really? But he did it this time.
Chick McGee
Well, the first three guys. There we go. Now you can see he's taking off the straight jacket.
Jess Hooker
I, I, oh, what is that? BMW.
Chick McGee
Yeah, there's a BMW. BMW. Does he now, as soon as the guy reaches out to start sort of pick the lock, that's when the car starts and it's heading for the booth and he gets out just in time. He jumps from the thing and then he got the guys. But you see, he swerves a little bit. Yeah, yeah. So he wouldn't have killed him necessarily.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Train track would be a better stunt that way. There's no, if you don't get out out. Boy that you've got that. That blood's no illusion. You know what pieces of his brain in the tracks.
Jess Hooker
The new record. 38.7 seconds out of the straight jacket out of the box before the.
Tom Griswold
Wow. I am glad the straight jackets are still being used in tricks, you know.
Jess Hooker
What about restraining people?
Tom Griswold
I hope they're still being used in in nut houses.
Chick McGee
Commonly used prisons.
Pat Godwin
No, they usually just cuff you to the bed.
Chick McGee
The way to do this. Yeah. Either do a TR or have the guy driving the car drunk.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Or have it be like the guy in the box is married to that dude's ex wife or something. So there's a reason for him not.
Chick McGee
To let off the gas. We've just told the driver like it before.
Jess Hooker
We've just told the driver that the guy in the box has had an affair with his wife.
Chick McGee
This is good.
Jess Hooker
This is from West Palm, Florida. After one round of action at the 2025 Cognizant Classic. Jake Knapp sitting on a score that would low enough to win the tournament. Most years through 18 holes. However, it's clear that this PGA national is nothing like those before. Knapp Fired the 15th sub 60 round in PGA Tour history yesterday. Shot at 12 under 59 to open a four stroke lead over Daniel Berger, Russell Henley and Sammy Valemaki. Key A59. Did you ever hit a shoot of 59 Tom, when you were golfing for four holes? For four? Absolutely.
Chick McGee
I couldn't do that in miniature golf.
Jess Hooker
My goodness. Only six around prior rounds out of 72 held at PGA national boasted a scoring average below 70. That's quite the score.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Jess Hooker
A soccer match in Germany called off after one of the players children bit a referee's testicle.
Tom Griswold
Oh my goodness.
Pat Godwin
What?
Jess Hooker
According to the reports Stefan Koller Kahler checking players registrations prior to the match between FC Taxi 2 and ROT Vice Mulheim 3. When the incident occurred, he said in his report that one of the FC Taxi players children on the field doing warm up exercises alongside the players. Well, that's cute.
Tom Griswold
It is cute. Nothing could go wrong.
Jess Hooker
He came closer and closer to me. Then suddenly, to my my complete surprise gave me a sharp bite on my left testicle.
Tom Griswold
I mean, that's crazy.
Chick McGee
That's a rugby move.
Tom Griswold
It sure is.
Jess Hooker
That belongs on the rugby pitch. That's right. Referee canceled the game saying his pain was too much.
Tom Griswold
Bizarre.
Chick McGee
Hope he punched the kid.
Tom Griswold
I mean, how do you react?
Jess Hooker
You don't hit somebody's kid.
Chick McGee
The kid bit his testicle.
Jess Hooker
You still don't.
Chick McGee
Who trained him?
Jess Hooker
Beat him, boy.
Chick McGee
Next game, wheel him in at a dolly like Hannibal Lecter. The kids.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah.
Jess Hooker
Face mask on.
Tom Griswold
Oh, and Senator, love your suit.
Jess Hooker
Also from the pga. Golfer Billy Horschel helped wrangle an alligator in the middle of the PGA National. Mr. Horschel had just finished playing the sixth hole when he spotted the police officer trying to shoo away an alligator.
Tom Griswold
Get out of here with a broom.
Jess Hooker
Alligator wandered onto the course. The Florida native grabbed a 60. 60 degree wedge. Are you sure that's the club you want in this situation?
Tom Griswold
Is that warm enough for.
Chick McGee
I think you want to do one like a two wire. You can't hit anything else with a two wire.
Jess Hooker
I'd hit him with the putter. That seems to be the heaviest club.
Tom Griswold
I just know I'd want all my clubs to be at least 72 degrees. He's nice on the hands.
Jess Hooker
He poked at the gator and got it to retreat back to the water. Cut that out. Mr. Horschel was undetermined and undeterred by the experience. Shooting 566 and finishing the day seven shots behind Jake Knapper. Shot of 59.
Tom Griswold
Wow.
Jess Hooker
An alligator.
Chick McGee
Tom, would you get near an alligator?
Jess Hooker
Never. Never, ever. Never.
Tom Griswold
I tried to. My girlfriend at the time stopped me.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
We were driving down Alligator Alley. We had gone to that space shuttle Placey. And then we. And I. I started to slow down because we saw these alligators. She goes, what are you doing? I go. I go, get a picture of me next to these.
Chick McGee
Oh.
Tom Griswold
And she goes, I am not.
Jess Hooker
Oh, my God.
Tom Griswold
Thankfully.
Jess Hooker
Well, you know, alligators don't have very strong opening of their jaws.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Now shutting their jaws in incredible strength. Strength. But. So if you get an alligator with their mouth shut, you're supposed to put your hand over the snout to keep them from.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Good luck remembering that at the time.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
When you're being.
Pat Godwin
I wonder how you tell the difference between an alligator.
Jess Hooker
They're snout.
Pat Godwin
I think one you'll see after a while and the other one you'll see later.
Tom Griswold
That is correct.
Chick McGee
Yep. Crocodile versus alligator.
Jess Hooker
Hello. I wanted to go to Gator Gator Jumperoo on one of those Florida trips we took and nobody would go. Go with me.
Pat Godwin
Gator Jumperoo.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. There's a trampoline park with their show alligators called Gator Jumperoo. And they have all these alligators perform tricks.
Tom Griswold
I'd love to see it.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, absolutely.
Chick McGee
Coming up, we have something you probably didn't know was out there.
Jess Hooker
I don't think Tom would want to go.
Tom Griswold
He hasn't enjoyed the last 15 years. So boring.
Chick McGee
We have the headline hair transplants for pubic hair, ladies and gentlemen.
Jess Hooker
Now we're getting into something interesting.
Chick McGee
Now we got something going on down here. Yes, you can do pubic hair transplants. And by the way, not just pube to pube, you can move it around your body.
Tom Griswold
That's very odd.
Chick McGee
Yeah, and it's. It's a thing and it's happening. We're gonna find out where and get all the gory details of getting the. Getting the hair transplants. This time in the realm of the pubes. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios, and this is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jess Hooker
Hey, thanks for listening to the Bob and Tom show this morning. Get a look at today's show on our YouTube channel.
Chick McGee
Dale soon.
Jess Hooker
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. There's Josh Arnold. Hello. Jess Hooker's here.
Pat Godwin
Hi.
Jess Hooker
There's Pat Godwin. Hey, Chick. Hello. Ace Cosby. Hello. I'm Chick McGee. Hello, Tom.
Chick McGee
Hello. Testing. Oh, there we go. Sir, couple calendar notes. I'm being distracted by Pat tonguing his water. Oh, her water. My water. Edwin McCain was our guest earlier this week. A great singer songwriter. He's going to be in Rockford, Illinois tonight. Willie G. And Tommy Brennan will be our guest shortly. They're going to be this evening in Columbus, Ohio, at the leisure club. We were talking about the leisure suits the other day.
Jess Hooker
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
They'll be at the Commonwealth Sanctuary Saturday in Cincinnati and at hilarities in Cleveland on Sunday. And we've got some road trips coming up. We had it. Well, last week at this time, we were coming to you from Iowa. We had a great time there.
Tom Griswold
That was fun.
Chick McGee
And we've got a couple of road trips coming up involving the world of the baseball season. I should put it that way. Okay, we'll be giving you some details on those. We're working on some special stuff for those events right now. We find Jess Hooker over there sitting in for Christy Lee. She. She is at the SILAC Insurance news desk. What's happening?
Pat Godwin
A woman in New Jersey happens to be named Soon Bang.
Chick McGee
Soon Bang.
Pat Godwin
And Ms. Bang has been charged with operating a brothel in New Jersey. Well, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Jess Hooker
What else you want?
Pat Godwin
Oasis SPA, operated by Ms. Bang, was raided by officers who discovered a large quantity of condominium condoms hidden within a mattress in a back makeshift bedroom.
Jess Hooker
Goodness. Put him and hit him in the mattress, huh?
Pat Godwin
Detective D. Large also reported That a condom was found hidden in a plant in a massage room. The 63 year old was arrested and charged with promoting prostitution, money laundering and engaging in prostitution. Oh, she was. She was owner, operator and employee.
Tom Griswold
Apparently she liked the business so much she bought the company.
Chick McGee
How does she spell her last name?
Pat Godwin
B A N, G. Wow.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I could. I could suck all the comedy out of this.
Jess Hooker
So it's either prostitution or fireworks stand, right?
Chick McGee
Yes, that'd be her cousin. Loud. Loud. Bang.
Tom Griswold
In Korean, that's pronounced bomb.
Pat Godwin
It is, yeah.
Chick McGee
Okay, but she's. Does it. Does it give her country of nationality, of origin or heritage?
Pat Godwin
It does not.
Chick McGee
No, because I looked it up and in Cantonese the name. Her first name again is Soon.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, yeah.
Chick McGee
So Soon Bang in Cantonese translates upcoming coitus.
Pat Godwin
All right.
Chick McGee
Or.
Jess Hooker
Or is that right?
Chick McGee
Yes. Or presently. Porking.
Tom Griswold
You got the alliteration too.
Chick McGee
You see, because people get confused. Presently doesn't mean now. Yeah, it's a silly word. Means soon, you see, Right. At present means now. Just a little bit of a lesson for everybody.
Pat Godwin
I didn't know that.
Chick McGee
Got her name. Matt. God, that's amazing.
Tom Griswold
She just had one mattress.
Pat Godwin
That's what it says.
Chick McGee
It sounds like she's kind of like an owner. Operator.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, she's. That's gross.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Is it gross or is she go getter?
Tom Griswold
If I show up a self starter. If I show up to a whorehouse, I want to be able to pick a room and a bed.
Chick McGee
And it's like a tanning bed. You clean it up afterwards. But if this were. If this were in a. If this were in a novel or a movie and the cop's name is D. Large.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, the first initial. D Large.
Tom Griswold
And soon bang. You're not going to believe any of them.
Chick McGee
I mean, D. Really, D is. I wonder if D large is a. A male or female.
Tom Griswold
Is it D, E? E?
Chick McGee
No, it's D, period.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Chick McGee
Just. Wow. Well, sometimes your name is your destiny. Speaking of names, do you have the story about I. This one's really confusing.
Pat Godwin
Which one?
Chick McGee
About a kid named Unikite.
Pat Godwin
Oh, I do. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
That's just one kite, right? It is.
Pat Godwin
Hold on. Still looking. Okay. A Nebraska girl whose name is listed on state records as Unikite 13 Hotel.
Tom Griswold
This is terrible.
Pat Godwin
Has finally been issued a Social Security number.
Jess Hooker
So her last name is Hotel, I guess. Right.
Chick McGee
But it's. It's not clear. This story makes no sense. I.
Tom Griswold
Is 13 spelled out?
Pat Godwin
Yes, it is.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
NBC News reports that after gaining custody of his daughter last year, Jason Kilburn learned that she did not have a valid birth certificate or a Social Security number due to a bureaucratic blunder. Mr. Kilborn said he was told that the name of his 2 year old's certificate of live birth was computer generated by the Iowa hospital where she was taken after a home birth.
Tom Griswold
I see.
Chick McGee
Yeah. This is.
Tom Griswold
So somehow the computer just typed in Unikite 13 Hotel.
Pat Godwin
I guess. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
So they. The parents didn't name?
Pat Godwin
Apparently not.
Chick McGee
Wouldn't this be really easy to fix?
Tom Griswold
You would think so. So.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Well, it says home birth and it says that she didn't have a Social Security number. So her parents might be off the grid maybe. And maybe do things a little differently. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. I'm not sure. Following NBC's initial report, Mr. Kilburn's daughter has finally been issued a Social Security number under the. Under the name Unikite, though he calls her Caroline Elizabeth Kilburn.
Chick McGee
Well, that's nice, Carol. Yeah. Because you can't say sweet unicite.
Tom Griswold
Maybe it's uni.
Jess Hooker
I plainly remember the day that I sent off for my Social Security card. I was like 10 or 11 years old.
Pat Godwin
You didn't get one at birth.
Jess Hooker
They didn't. I don't think they did it when we. Maybe they did for you. I don't know. But I remember. I. I absolutely. Me. My neighbor and I sent for the. The same day and he got. We got ours on the same. We got him back on the same day and we were one number off from each other.
Chick McGee
Wow. Yeah. So I had to get a new one.
Jess Hooker
That was not a new number, though.
Chick McGee
No, no, no.
Pat Godwin
It's a nightmare.
Chick McGee
Yeah. That was a. That was a day where you're grateful that you don't live there.
Pat Godwin
Yes.
Chick McGee
A rough crowd.
Jess Hooker
But the Social Security office.
Chick McGee
Yeah, they were very nice, but they're understaffed and you wait for five hours. But it was. It was rough.
Jess Hooker
Did you have to order a Social Security card, too?
Chick McGee
No, I had to go for other reasons.
Tom Griswold
I was there for two days. I'm not even joking.
Jess Hooker
Well, you win.
Chick McGee
I mean, does it unit. What is it? Unikite 13 Hotel. That. It sounds like an album, you know, like by Wilco or something.
Tom Griswold
Something. You're exactly right.
Chick McGee
Have you heard. But.
Jess Hooker
Well, Tweety's done at this time.
Chick McGee
Something's about this. Something is really fish about this story. I don't believe it was computer generated. I think somebody did it as a joke to some poor kid. Wouldn't the staff at a Hotel. Go. Hey, look, you can't do. I mean, excuse me. The stats, you know, I'm doing it. The staff at the hospital. Go, look, you've got to give this child a real normal.
Jess Hooker
I can't imagine them messing with new parents. The. The hospital staff.
Tom Griswold
I can't, man. We had a home birth. If you. If you showed up at a hospital and you told them you that you did a home, I'm sure they treat you like garbage, man.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, maybe you're right.
Chick McGee
I don't think so. I. This is a thing. I'd looked up terrible baby names.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Some of these tragedy. But it's spelled T, R A G E D E I G H. Whoa. Giving some poor kid a lifetime of this one really kills me. I'm going to write this idea of a pencil. You want to. I want you to tell me how to pronounce this one. This is a legitimate name given to some poor kid. D E S H A R T E.
Tom Griswold
Wow.
Jess Hooker
D E S. I mean, H R.
Tom Griswold
T is desharte, I assume is. But it could be the Chartres, like Renee decided.
Chick McGee
But either way, I mean, even Descharte is. It's.
Jess Hooker
Didn't deshart say existence is nothing? Oh, no.
Chick McGee
That's the card you're thinking of. I poop, therefore I am.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Okay, here's one. I don't even want you to try to pronounce it. This is an actual name given to a kid. Ready?
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Chick McGee
K U, N. I'll pause for a moment. T E I A.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Kuncha.
Chick McGee
It might be Kuncha.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Or Kuntia.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Chick McGee
Let's hope either way. K, U, N. And then.
Jess Hooker
T E, I A, T, E, I. No.
Tom Griswold
Let's just say the K is silent like a. No.
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Yes. Yes. But even until.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Either way, very and very uncomfortable. Thank you very much. We have coming up some very interesting things in the world of news, including this story. I had no idea. Pubic hair transplants. And by the way, this can go both ways. People are taking hair from their head down there.
Jess Hooker
No.
Chick McGee
Yes. Oh, yes.
Tom Griswold
Is anybody taking it from down there and putting it on their head?
Pat Godwin
Yes, you can.
Jess Hooker
Absolutely.
Chick McGee
That happens. That can be problematic. We'll find out about all these things when we return. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios.
Jess Hooker
I've got jock itch on my head.
Chick McGee
Ergo. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jess Hooker
There's more of the show coming up. Book your next vacation with Christy Lee and Colette. Visit England, Scotland and Wales. This September 28th, visit Bob and Tom.com for DVD tips. This is the Bob and Tom Show. Hey, good morning. Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. Jess Hooker at the Silac Insurance news desk.
Pat Godwin
Hello.
Jess Hooker
Pat Godwin in the performance room. Hello. Hello, Pat.
Chick McGee
Hey, Chick.
Jess Hooker
There he is.
Tom Griswold
There's Josh with a new poem from a new poet.
Chick McGee
Oh, my.
Jess Hooker
It's turned into poem day. I'm loving it. There's Ace Code me. I'm Chick McGee. And here's Tom Griswold with our special.
Chick McGee
Guest, fresh from the ladies room, by the way.
Pat Godwin
Oh, okay.
Chick McGee
Not. Not our guests. That. That came out wrong.
Jess Hooker
You went to the ladies room?
Chick McGee
Yeah, this place. I went to go to the bathroom. Every. Everything was full.
Jess Hooker
There wasn't a hole around here without an ass on it. Is that right?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Yeah, I knocked because there's. The odds are you're the only woman in the building right now.
Tom Griswold
I hope.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, that's usually how it goes.
Chick McGee
Yeah, so. But I tell you what. I know Pat always sneezing sneaks in there. I love it in there.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, he's usually not going to make sure I am in there.
Chick McGee
Oh, really?
Pat Godwin
Yes.
Chick McGee
Joining us in the studio, comedian Tommy Brennan. Good to see you, Tommy. Hello. And Willie G. Son number two. Hey, Willie. We were driving and I was telling Tommy, I was like, the show's very regimented. As soon as we get in there, my dad's gonna intro us. Just don't say anything.
Tom Griswold
And then the whole ladies room diatribe. I couldn't have been more wrong describing what was going to go on in here.
Chick McGee
And by the way, you're out of tampons.
Pat Godwin
Oh, okay. Thanks. I appreciate that.
Chick McGee
You are.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, I. Well, I'll. I'll restock.
Chick McGee
And bourbon.
Jess Hooker
Why? Why did you check the supply of tampons in the ladies room?
Chick McGee
There's a basket. There's a basket on top.
Tom Griswold
Oh, there are plenty in there. There's a little tin case with. There are a bunch of red ones in there.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah, that's different.
Jess Hooker
Hang on. What did you say, Josh?
Tom Griswold
There's a bunch of red ones in the.
Chick McGee
Okay, we got to catch these guys up with what's going on here.
Tom Griswold
Well, Tommy and Willie, all week I've. I decided to shave my winter's beard. And all week I've let the folks here decide how I'm going to look. And we've gotten some poems about me trimming my beard.
Chick McGee
We should explain to Tommy. I know Willie's.
Tom Griswold
I feel like I did explain.
Jess Hooker
As a matter of fact, you said Let me explain.
Chick McGee
I believe you didn't explain the phases and the stages.
Jess Hooker
Yes, he.
Chick McGee
I think he kind of did.
Josh Arnold
That can't be a deeper.
Tom Griswold
Okay, so Monday it was mutton chops with a connecting mustache.
Jess Hooker
I like Tuesday, nothing on the chin.
Tom Griswold
Yes, Tuesday I disconnected the mustache from.
Chick McGee
The chop sideburns and Fu Manchu.
Josh Arnold
Beautiful.
Jess Hooker
You just can't.
Tom Griswold
You really want to get involved in Josh's day.
Chick McGee
This is radio that people can't see it.
Tom Griswold
Thursday was just Fu Manchu. I actually referred to it as True Man Chew because a true man would sport it. And now today's just the regular mustache. May I continue?
Chick McGee
Who wrote the.
Jess Hooker
You are really something.
Tom Griswold
This comes to us from trucker Darrell from Paxico, Kansas.
Jess Hooker
Oh, hey.
Tom Griswold
You ready? Now this is. The structure changes. Here it starts abab and then kind of does its thing.
Jess Hooker
Wow.
Tom Griswold
After that, thine face lay bare. Bereft of beard. Most all approve, Tom only jeered.
Jess Hooker
Ah.
Tom Griswold
It is a choice that you may soon not abide, as you regretfully discover that you can no longer offer free a mustache. A ride. Thank you, Darrell.
Chick McGee
Isn't it nice to know that there are great poets out there just rolling down the highway? Or at least.
Jess Hooker
At least poets.
Pat Godwin
And a truck driver, too.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
And I mean the ones from before, those were also just excellent. We may have to revisit them.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, we should probably post them. Maybe I'll. I'll read them and we can post.
Jess Hooker
We need to put up phases of you with your beard and like some soft music as a. A retrospective of. Of you going over your beard.
Tom Griswold
I'm sorry.
Josh Arnold
Memoriam.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Now Pat is apparently doing his impression.
Jess Hooker
Kangas.
Chick McGee
What is happening to your hair? Pat?
Jess Hooker
Hey, Josh. Josh. Pat was in the basement all night. What did he just say?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I. The time machine is finished.
Jess Hooker
Marty, if.
Chick McGee
You want to see this. Ace.
Jess Hooker
How does 1.21 gigawatts.
Chick McGee
How does 1. And view this, Ace.
Jess Hooker
Check out the Bob and Time YouTube channel.
Chick McGee
Thank you very much. Now let's review. In the building we have the lady that's Ms. Hooker sitting in for Christy Lee. No facial hair?
Pat Godwin
No, not well. Hold on. Nope. I'm good.
Chick McGee
Then we. We have Mr. McGee with a nice beard.
Jess Hooker
How'd he do?
Chick McGee
Ace, once again, is fully, completely shaved. Ace. Ace and I disagree. Ace with a beard. Not good. I like it.
Pat Godwin
I'd like it, too.
Chick McGee
It looks great.
Jess Hooker
I think it's fine.
Chick McGee
Fantastic. Your dad forced me to change Steinbrenner. Eh. No one Ace has a beard. It looks like the. It just looks like he's been kidnapped and put in a storage shed for a week. But I'm sorry. So let's get back to our guest, Tommy Brennan. Clean shaven.
Josh Arnold
Yes. This is about. About a seven day shadow here.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Pretty nice.
Chick McGee
Yeah. You have that game show host look.
Josh Arnold
Oh, I'll take that.
Chick McGee
You know what I mean? Doesn't he look like he could be the next Seacrest? Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Sitting up front, he looks like he could be best friend. Friends with Lyle and Eric Menendez.
Pat Godwin
I think the style.
Jess Hooker
That's what he looks like.
Josh Arnold
I would love to be.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. The vintage jacket does give that time frame.
Tom Griswold
Is it truly vintage or is it. Is. Is Adidas making those again or.
Josh Arnold
I believe this one is. This is. Yeah, I. I shop for them on the road. I like to look always like a jet ski came to life. That's. That's my kind of what I go for.
Chick McGee
And that is perfect. And then Willie G. I haven't seen Willie for a few weeks. Got the.
Jess Hooker
Good to see you. This counts for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Tom Griswold
I can't tell if Willie has a. A mustache and he's sort of wearing a military green button. I can't tell if you are military or protesting that. First off, the look goes either way. I did not. Was not where I looked like that.
Chick McGee
And I'm not trying to steal valor, fellas.
Tom Griswold
I feel bad about that one. No, I got the mustache, man.
Chick McGee
I've been growing this thing out for three days.
Tom Griswold
I hate that I had to come.
Chick McGee
Here on beautiful Josh Arnold mustache day.
Tom Griswold
No, no, we're. We're brothers in arms.
Chick McGee
I really hope we are brothers in lips.
Jess Hooker
I think what Willie means is you have a magnificent bastard for a mustache over there.
Tom Griswold
Well, in.
Chick McGee
In.
Tom Griswold
In my. In. Willie, yours is three days. This is months, dude. So yours. We'll get there in months. No, this is.
Chick McGee
This has been since December. Josh.
Tom Griswold
I haven't shaved. Oh, I thought he said three days. December.
Chick McGee
You looks. You gotta keep that thing.
Tom Griswold
No.
Chick McGee
Now, are you taking a survey among your friends and loved ones about the stash?
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Chick McGee
I don't know. My friends like it.
Tom Griswold
My girlfriend doesn't like it. She doesn't?
Chick McGee
No.
Tom Griswold
She thinks it makes me look like a pedophile.
Chick McGee
Well, she's.
Jess Hooker
But that seems a little harsh. She's an idiot.
Tom Griswold
She's 14.
Chick McGee
What does she know? Wait a minute.
Jess Hooker
You're doing jokes, Guys.
Pat Godwin
Willie, I have to say you're throwing me because you look just like my son right now. That's what I'm going for. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
I texted Max Hooker. I go, big guy, send me a picture.
Tom Griswold
I'm showing it to my barber.
Pat Godwin
We might have to do a side by side. It's startling, right? They look exactly alike right now.
Chick McGee
Tommy, can you grow facial hair?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, I can. Stash. Yeah. It gets a little blonde up here, but I can, I can do a. I had a pretty bad one a couple years ago. Went three months, bad beard. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it's. I kind of just look. I still have a young look somehow.
Chick McGee
You do.
Josh Arnold
It looks like I've glued it on.
Jess Hooker
Oh.
Josh Arnold
It looks like I'm in, like, a bad community.
Chick McGee
Don't take this the wrong way. If they were making a movie about you could be a senior in high school on a movie. Nobody would blink twice.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah.
Jess Hooker
He'd be the bad guy, too.
Chick McGee
Yeah. But you could easily walk into a high school.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Incredibly cast. You are very castable. Yeah. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
What's your problem, Arnold?
Tom Griswold
Couldn't you also see him being the buddy of the. I mean, if not the lead, but the buddy of the lead going, hey, man, you should go after Heather. She's.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
The yes man. Yeah. That's what I would. I would love to play the. The best friend. Or I, I, I'd play the friend of the villain.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Josh Arnold
Who maybe comes around at the end and turns out to be a nice guy.
Tom Griswold
How old are you?
Josh Arnold
I'm 30.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Yeah, you're 30.
Chick McGee
Wow.
Josh Arnold
I just refused to act.
Chick McGee
Now, Pat, if you were cast in a movie as a member of the faculty of a school, any ideas what you'd be?
Tom Griswold
What would I be?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
You mean what subject he's teach.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Oh, I would teach theater, of course.
Tom Griswold
And I would hire this young man and there'd be a casting couch, of course.
Jess Hooker
Absolutely.
Chick McGee
Somehow I knew that.
Jess Hooker
This is quite common. You want the pot or not?
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Emote for me, boy.
Chick McGee
We're gonna come back, we'll find out what's going on with Tommy Brennan. Willie G. We got some great news stories.
Jess Hooker
We reviewed more information on Gator Jumparoo.
Chick McGee
Yeah, we. And we also reviewed Dream Come True. We reviewed my lack of pubic hair until came late in the game. And we have. There is literally a story in the news about transplanting the hair transplants. Now for. With pubic hair.
Tom Griswold
Oh, my.
Jess Hooker
From your head to your pubic.
Chick McGee
Both directions.
Jess Hooker
Both directions.
Chick McGee
Yeah. It's amazing.
Jess Hooker
Wow.
Chick McGee
But we've got that coming up in the news.
Tom Griswold
Is that why you're bald?
Chick McGee
Did you do the surgery years ago? Only Willie could say that. No I'm actually kind of thinking if.
Jess Hooker
Somebody just got a timeout.
Chick McGee
If I had had that option when I was 16, hey look, we can take some hair off here and put it. I would have done it because it was just so humiliating. If you're wondering why I hate jocks, that's why right now.
Jess Hooker
Let me tell you about Raycon.

Tom Griswold
Oh, okay.
Chick McGee
Run by Ms. Bang.
Jess Hooker
Soon Bang.
Chick McGee
Soon Bang. That's actually her name. What was the name of her cousin that ran the fireworks place?
Tom Griswold
You had said loud.
Jess Hooker
Loud bang.
Chick McGee
There we go. Yeah, of course.
Jess Hooker
Oh, loud bang could work at the whorehouse too. I think things got out of hand.
Chick McGee
Yeah, some guys like that.
Jess Hooker
Hey, your sign fell down, man. I love that.
Chick McGee
Okay, thanks. These are the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios and this is the Bob and Tom.
Jess Hooker
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. Josh Arnold is here and Ace Cosby. Jess Hooker. Pat Godwin.
Chick McGee
Hey, chick.
Jess Hooker
I'm Chick McGee. And there's Tom Griswold. And we have special guests in the studio.
Chick McGee
Comedian Tommy Brennan is here with us. Yes, he's the 30 year old that looks 18 that could be cast as a young, would you say perhaps Ryan Seacrest?
Josh Arnold
Very handsome, like a high school bully. I went through a really late puberty, so I never got to be a high school, but I like to look like one now. Yeah, I didn't get that chance.
Chick McGee
Yeah. We're gonna get to the topic of pubic Hair coming up. Glad you brought it up. Also my son Willie, Willie G. Back from Chicago on tour. The boys have a couple of slides stops coming up. In fact, you'll be on the road this evening in Columbus, Ohio. And then after that it's a little action in Cincinnati and then Cleveland.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
I'll give you the names of the. Of all that coming up in just a second. But we have to get to your life. Tommy, where are you from?
Josh Arnold
From St. Paul, Minnesota.
Jess Hooker
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
Oh, sure.
Jess Hooker
Minnesota. Yeah.
Chick McGee
This ties right in because we had the story this morning from the Minnesota.
Jess Hooker
Star about I'll meet you a target. Yeah.
Chick McGee
And I don't know if you ever experienced this, but apparently many of the schools in Minnesota until the early 70s required the boys to swim naked.
Jess Hooker
Oh, during health class.
Chick McGee
Yeah, during. Yeah. So they would do that. Did you ever experience that?
Josh Arnold
I didn't. It was a little bit before my time.
Chick McGee
Yeah, that's what I figured. Yeah. But maybe your family did. Maybe.
Josh Arnold
I'm sure my dad. Yeah, that. That probably explains he never made eye contact. Seems like that that was probably scarring.
Jess Hooker
Oh yeah.
Chick McGee
This is so disturbing. Now we're getting people that have experienced this writing us email. So I'd like to. I'd like. Like to hear more about it. Are you from a big family? Small family. What's the story?
Josh Arnold
Big family, one of eight kids. Yeah, it's. Willie and I were talking about it. You know, he's. He's got a bunch of siblings. I got a bunch of siblings. My mind. All from same two parents.
Jess Hooker
That's weird.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Proofs.
Josh Arnold
You can do it.
Chick McGee
You can.
Josh Arnold
You can. You can have eight kids and still not like you. Each other, you know, that's. They proved they. You can make it happen.
Jess Hooker
We've been married 52 years and I hate her.
Chick McGee
Boys, girls, what's the. What's the.
Josh Arnold
Mostly girls. I got six sisters. Bunch of.
Chick McGee
Are you kidding?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, bunch of them are gay.
Josh Arnold
Bunch of them are gay. Yeah. It's a real. It's a WNBA situation at our house is great.
Jess Hooker
Boy, how would you like that tampon concession, huh? John?
Tom Griswold
Where do you fall in the.
Josh Arnold
I'm. I'm six down.
Chick McGee
No, he meant gay or straight.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah. God. I'm still figuring it out.
Jess Hooker
Takes a while. That's the right answer. Yes.
Josh Arnold
I got time.
Jess Hooker
Oh yeah.
Chick McGee
What do you suppose is the last. Last conversion age wise?
Tom Griswold
Last conversion age wise. Oh, like Was there a 98 year old who said, you know, some dude.
Chick McGee
Some dude. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Was it Christopher Top Gun?
Pat Godwin
What was it?
Tom Griswold
She the word conversion might be problematic.
Chick McGee
Sorry. You know what I mean.
Jess Hooker
Oh, no, no, no. Let me step in here and defend my buddy Tom. He means. What. What? When do you not. When are you not normal anymore?
Chick McGee
No, no. I mean.
Josh Arnold
And then on the other side. At what point can you be saved?
Chick McGee
I think that is kind of. This is a whole calendar.
Pat Godwin
You mean like the late life lesbian.
Chick McGee
Exactly. There's the term late life lesbian.
Jess Hooker
Christopher Plummer, I think his last movie was about.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Later on in life.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Good movie.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Great movie wonders or something.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, something like that. Yeah.
Chick McGee
Is that a matter of being closeted because of society or not?
Jess Hooker
It seemed like.
Chick McGee
Or suddenly. Suddenly realizing, hey, wait a minute.
Pat Godwin
I think his wife died and then he.
Chick McGee
It was his choice about it. I'm just kind of. I don't know. It's not something I'm.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
You know, loveless marriage, stuff like that.
Chick McGee
So in other words, Tommy, there's still time.
Josh Arnold
There's time. We'll see what happens when Josh finally shaves the mustache.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. You never know what spark might fly.
Pat Godwin
We were talking about you in the green room and you do look a lot like Matt D. Damon. Do you get that a lot?
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
I mean, the Internet will just find different ways of like calling me white and Matt Damon is one of them. But it'll be like, oh, you look like Matt Damon. And insert another like, Paul Rudd had a kid.
Pat Godwin
Okay.
Josh Arnold
Or it'll be like Matt Damon and Ben Affleck or Ben Affleck and Chris Pratt, but it's just all the white guys.
Tom Griswold
I would go with a young Tom Brady.
Pat Godwin
Okay.
Chick McGee
Okay. That's dead on.
Josh Arnold
He actually. That's less good looking when he was younger, but I'll take it. That's Feel like his picture out of college was really.
Tom Griswold
I'm seeing Ethan Hawk.
Pat Godwin
Okay.
Tom Griswold
I'm seeing Ethan Hawk and. And me in a sauna. I mean.
Jess Hooker
Josh.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Jess Hooker
That's not normal behavior.
Chick McGee
Now, Willie with the mustache looks like here. With that particular mustache, it looks like. Dad, I don't want to stop you, but we've already had it. We're having a great morning. We already had a handshake.
Josh Arnold
I mean, this is intimate.
Tom Griswold
I don't know if you want to done enough damage.
Chick McGee
He's saying. I was going to say Matt Damon and Rico Suave.
Josh Arnold
I'll take that.
Pat Godwin
Okay.
Chick McGee
This has the. The. The stash that looks a little bit Miami esque. Thank you. Which. Which leads us to. Speaking of hair, Miami is the source of this next story involving pubic hair. Hair and Something I. If you told me, I wouldn't have believed it. The pubic hair transplant.
Pat Godwin
Yes, It's a thing. If you are thinking of bulking up your bush. Transplant experts say it's possible to add hair to your pubic area. According to foundhair.com the procedure involves a surgeon performing either a follicular unit grafting or a unit extraction.
Jess Hooker
Follicular. Follicular.
Chick McGee
I know how. That's. I know what it means. Does it explain it? What exactly?
Pat Godwin
Yes. Follicular unit grafting requires removing a strip of skin from one area with hair and transplanting it to the pubic area.
Tom Griswold
So follicular is in follicle.
Chick McGee
Yes, so. But the larger point is it's your own flesh.
Pat Godwin
It is.
Chick McGee
So your body won't reject it.
Pat Godwin
Isn't this what guys do with the back?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I think something similar.
Jess Hooker
Oh, they take it from the back and put it on top sometimes.
Chick McGee
And sometimes they take it from their back. And it goes on to say sometimes people will take pubic hair.
Jess Hooker
No, they do.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Jess Hooker
Wow.
Chick McGee
At the end of this article. Yeah. They. They will put it on top of your head.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. The extraction involves punching each follicle out of the donor site individually in order to transplant the hair.
Tom Griswold
Can't feel good.
Chick McGee
No.
Pat Godwin
It is really painful. Is that true or is that. I mean, it sounds.
Tom Griswold
Must be. I didn't.
Chick McGee
Yeah, we. I remember we were doing an event one time and a guy had just had it done the day before and. And his. Underneath his eyes, it was all saggy and blood and it was. It was. It's pretty gruesome.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
But it works.
Jess Hooker
Have you ever had a pubic hair pulled out one at a time, Josh?
Tom Griswold
I have pulled one.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
So, I mean, it wasn't like a torture thing, but it was.
Pat Godwin
Oh, for sex.
Jess Hooker
So hot.
Tom Griswold
Yes. I demanded.
Chick McGee
Here's my. The thing is. Take your time. If. If you were to want more. More hair down there and if you were to take it from your head, in many cases, that would be sort of straight hair.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. It wouldn't be the same.
Chick McGee
So it wouldn't texture. It could be kind of weird looking.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
And vice versa.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. I mean, if you. I mean, sometimes when you guys get older, your eyebrows kind of look like pubes, you know?
Tom Griswold
I see what you're saying. Yeah. They're kind of wiry and curly.
Jess Hooker
Thanks, Jess. They get out of control.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah. Pat, you really are a good example of that, actually.
Chick McGee
I like how you could have said it when men get older, but you chose to say when you guys get older, Specifically.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Day five. Willie, they're driving me nuts.
Chick McGee
But I mean, you could sort of have like bangs down there. Yeah, yeah.
Pat Godwin
You could style it.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Put a part in it.
Chick McGee
But it does say that the procedure is done in reverse in which men will have their hair from their pubic area put on top of their head.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that's. That seems very strange.
Chick McGee
Do they suggest who's interested in this? Is it like a certain medical condition?
Pat Godwin
Yes, it actually says that a lot of people use it to cover up surgical scars.
Tom Griswold
Oh, total sense.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. And then Willie, you did it for your mustache, right?
Chick McGee
Yeah, that's exactly why I did it.
Tom Griswold
And now I gotta kind of reverse.
Chick McGee
The opposite down there.
Pat Godwin
Right.
Chick McGee
It's very odd, but. And this, this article comes from Miami, which is where this particular doctor that is the expert on this as his practice.
Tom Griswold
See, I would think in Miami, the less pubes, the better for many.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Oh, they like the beach a lot.
Chick McGee
They're going to be.
Tom Griswold
You don't want those bikini spiders.
Chick McGee
But I think it's the location of the pubic hair club for men. Ever seen that? Commercials.
Tom Griswold
I see. Yeah. Yeah.
Chick McGee
Wouldn't that be great? Because I don't know. Depending on where you live, typically these hair transplant things end up on billboards and it's usually a local weatherman or some sort of semi celebrity.
Jess Hooker
Often a DJ or some stooge from a radio show.
Chick McGee
Yes, exactly. But can you imagine if they did that for pubes?
Pat Godwin
Oh, gosh.
Tom Griswold
Ah, the before and after.
Chick McGee
Yes, it's Monahan the weatherman. Here's his bush before. There it is after. Remember when he had a comb over down there? Josh.
Pat Godwin
It says they also use the beard and the chest to harvest hair. You could have. You could have been a donor and given your beard hair to someone who wanted to grow hair.
Tom Griswold
That seems weird to me. I just sold it on my only fan.
Chick McGee
But you can't. They don't have a thing. You can't get someone else's hair, Right. It has to be your own tissue.
Pat Godwin
It does.
Chick McGee
You'd have to take anti rejection drugs. I don't think we're that desperate.
Pat Godwin
Well, not yet.
Chick McGee
Yeah. But like I've said before, as soon as they figure out the way to regrow hair. Hair. Bezos is going to look like Mo Howard from the three studios.
Tom Griswold
You think he will choose hair? Nah, I think he's over it.
Pat Godwin
I think he looks fine. I mean.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, we're used to him now.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, the look, he wears it well. A lot of People can't. And he. He does. Okay, right?
Tom Griswold
Because he's like Martian bald, isn't he?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Is there any way we could get you to just go ahead and give.
Chick McGee
It a shot one time?
Jess Hooker
Shave it all off just for a day? No, no, that won't work for me. Okay. Okay.
Tom Griswold
Didn't you get a haircut yesterday?
Chick McGee
Got cancelled. My whole. My whole day yesterday turned to crap. Yeah, yeah. Show. Yes. Kelly's been. She's sick. So I ended up driving across town 30 times.
Tom Griswold
Man, those Life is hard.
Jess Hooker
Those sideburns.
Chick McGee
No, but I do. Kids have to be two places at the same time.
Jess Hooker
Oh, and you know what? You've got a. Got a weekend coming up and those are.
Chick McGee
And it's her birthday.
Jess Hooker
Those are brutal.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah, it's her birthday today, so.
Jess Hooker
Double bru.
Chick McGee
Well, her first present I already gave her. I slept in the guest room, so.
Tom Griswold
That was a thoughtful gift.
Pat Godwin
That is a thoughtful gift.
Chick McGee
I'm sure that she enjoyed it.
Jess Hooker
I didn't have to hear that. Oh, what's going on?
Chick McGee
Please.
Jess Hooker
Oh, never mind.
Chick McGee
It's so weird sleeping in your own house in a different bed.
Tom Griswold
Really?
Chick McGee
I feel like you'd be used to it.
Jess Hooker
You just.
Chick McGee
You just moved in two years ago.
Jess Hooker
Has it been two? It hasn't been two years, has it?
Pat Godwin
I think it is. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Holy hell.
Chick McGee
But I got to pay attention. I mean, and I couldn't find the lights and. Well, but you're wander around your house.
Pat Godwin
Get familiar with it.
Chick McGee
Your lights suck at your house.
Tom Griswold
Rich people.
Chick McGee
Lights are crazy. Get a switch. If I. Yeah. If I ever do it again. I'm not getting talked into that ridiculous thing.
Tom Griswold
There's a button that says parlor. There's a. But it makes no sense, the lights there.
Jess Hooker
I think your next house is going to be a drawer, pal. Okay. Hey, hey, me too.
Chick McGee
No, no, no. The answer is. The answer is mausoleum. The drawer is. The drawer is. While they build the mausoleum. My next house is an urn.
Jess Hooker
You got to go on the ground.
Tom Griswold
I've never known anybody that's been mausoleum. Have you guys?
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah. My family does that.
Tom Griswold
Oh, really?
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jess Hooker
Oh, I was. Yeah, I was. So they're.
Chick McGee
They're above. They're above ground.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
And it's a locked door and you go in and I was.
Jess Hooker
The one I was married into was drawers outside, actually.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
And they were all locked down and it was very granite marble. Yeah. But. Yeah.
Chick McGee
Is there a drawer? Is there an odor? I mean, aren't you rotting in there? Over.
Jess Hooker
No.
Pat Godwin
No.
Jess Hooker
You know, bodies are. Are filled full of embalming fluid for a reason. Fluid for a reason.
Chick McGee
You know, not of all. Not. Not people of all faiths. Oh, and by the way, don't read about the tragic Gene Hackman.
Jess Hooker
Oh, yeah, well, thanks for that.
Chick McGee
Gets. No, you brought it up earlier. That gets awful.
Pat Godwin
What? I didn't think we knew yet. Do we know?
Jess Hooker
Well, they're assuming Tom has all these elaborate. She killer.
Tom Griswold
No Dustin Hoffman was involved.
Jess Hooker
The dog did it.
Chick McGee
Let's get back to our.
Jess Hooker
Something. I think Gene Hackman missed her birthday.
Chick McGee
Oh, we got.
Pat Godwin
She was sick.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, she was Go out all day for. And the weekend was brutal.
Chick McGee
We have something really odd and morbid coming up in just a few minutes. However, I want to. We really haven't had time to meet our guest, Tommy.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, let's. Please.
Chick McGee
I have a serious question for you. I am a Tom.
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Chick McGee
And very few people ever called me Tommy.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Even when I was a kid, my brothers called me dude way before the big Lebowski. My sister calls me bush butch because I hated getting haircuts.
Tom Griswold
That's funny. Tommy calls a lot of his sisters. I just met you. I have no business telling jokes like that.
Chick McGee
But it's a fact.
Tom Griswold
That's a problem.
Chick McGee
So are you. Have you. Were you a Tom? A Thomas, A Tommy? What's happening?
Josh Arnold
I was Tommy forever. And then I tried. When I went to college, I was like, I'm gonna be Tom now because I'm. I'm an adult. And that. That made it through. I made my. I made an email address. Address. And then that was it. I couldn't. I couldn't stick with it. Everyone in my family, it's Nikki, Shani, Katie, Ally, Maddie, Tommy, Lizzie, Carrie. Everyone has the key at the end. And it just. I couldn't get. I like kind of being a childish guy. And Tommy just works better.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
But, yeah, Thomas, if my. If my mom's mad at me, but that's kind of it.
Chick McGee
Yeah, that's true. Yeah. That's kind of standard. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Josh Arnold
Stuck with it, though.
Chick McGee
All right. And. But. And that. That's your professional name. All also.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, yeah. It's.
Chick McGee
It has kind of a show busy ring.
Josh Arnold
I don't know what it's going to be like when I'm like, 50 and saying Tommy, though. Do I have to change it at some Tommy Chong?
Tom Griswold
I mean, Tommy Lor. Okay.
Chick McGee
You're in a good, good class of like, Jimmy Buffett.
Josh Arnold
That's true.
Chick McGee
It can be. It can be pleasant.
Josh Arnold
I just got to stop wearing socks, and then it'll be fine.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, you're exactly right. Stay in the sun.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. Look, I'm a parrot head.
Chick McGee
I like it, but. Yeah, I'm a Tom now.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Used to it.
Josh Arnold
You were, were you, Tommy? Ever?
Chick McGee
Not really. Yeah, every once in a while, there are a couple people that still don't, but, see, Willie's always been Willie to me.
Jess Hooker
You don't know. You don't want to know what Josh and I call you.
Chick McGee
Did you ever try going with Will?
Tom Griswold
No, I can't do it.
Chick McGee
The other. The other Willie from my college there was. There was.
Tom Griswold
Of us, and he's Will now.
Chick McGee
He officially dropped.
Josh Arnold
Oh, you won.
Tom Griswold
No, I know. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
It begins and ends with Liam, my friend.
Chick McGee
I would always love to go that way. I didn't know that was an option. Forever. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
You get a lot of second half instead of the first half of William.
Chick McGee
William is the first.
Josh Arnold
Is that where Liam comes from?
Chick McGee
It's the forbidden name. You could be. You could be me.
Josh Arnold
Yay. My Tommy.
Chick McGee
Liam. Actually, last year. Year was the number one name for boys in the US Of A. For babies. Yeah, that came out of nowhere. Do we blame Oasis for that? Who's responsible for that? I'm not sure. Well, we'll find out more about Tommy and what's going on with Willie and their tour.
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Chick McGee

Chick McGee
Hello. Chick Magee.
Jess Hooker
We have special guests.
Chick McGee
We have guests in the studio on the road, comedian Tommy Brennan and Willie G. Son number two. Hey. And these guys are going to be at the Leisure Club in Columbus, Ohio, coming up tonight.
Pat Godwin
That sounds fun.
Chick McGee
Then it's Cincinnati's Commonwealth Sanctuary Saturday night and then Sunday, the famous hilarities, including Cleveland, Ohio.
Tom Griswold
Would you like to be a member of a leisure club?
Jess Hooker
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Have a leisure suit jacket in there.
Chick McGee
Hang out on a series of movies. Wasn't there the men of leisure, the gentlemen of something.
Tom Griswold
I don't know what porn you watch.
Jess Hooker
The men of true genius. Is that what you're thinking?
Chick McGee
And we discussed the, the so called leisure suit. A very unfortunate, very brief phase in men's fashion. Was it late 70s? If you want to see what they look like, watch old episodes of the Six Million Dollar Man.
Jess Hooker
I want to say mid-70s.
Chick McGee
Really unattractive, unappealing, you know, it went away. Fortunately Tommy Brennan. We've learned a few things.
Josh Arnold
You are from St. Paul, Minnesota.
Chick McGee
Soda. You're 30, but you look 18. Interesting. Do you have a. I should. A girlfriend? You married? What's going on?
Josh Arnold
I'm in a. Yeah, I've got a girlfriend. Just hit a year. Year.
Jess Hooker
All right.
Chick McGee
Hang in there.
Josh Arnold
That second year, we're fighting a lot, so.
Tom Griswold
Oh, okay.
Josh Arnold
We're gonna make it. Yeah, it's. It's good.
Jess Hooker
Call her woman a lot.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Jess Hooker
And try this one. You're not a. You're just acting like one.
Chick McGee
How about that?
Josh Arnold
Always say acting like I've thrown that out there.
Jess Hooker
Try that.
Josh Arnold
So that's helping?
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Chick McGee
Yeah, that's a great line. That always. Did you meet. Did you meet her in a. A traditional manner, or was this one one of those Internet online.
Josh Arnold
We did. We met in real life.
Chick McGee
Okay, good. That's good.
Jess Hooker
I think Internet might be traditional now.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Sadly, that's so weird.
Josh Arnold
Sadly, it's very odd to me. Yeah. I can't do it.
Chick McGee
You can't smell them online.
Pat Godwin
Hey, Tom, that's not acceptable online or offline.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
People.
Chick McGee
No, but I'm just.
Tom Griswold
I know. I know what you mean.
Jess Hooker
I went ahead and ordered you a coffee. Now, can I get. Get us whiff of you over here? Is that what you're doing?
Chick McGee
No, I just. It's just. I could never.
Jess Hooker
Are you still dating? Yes or no?
Chick McGee
No, but I mean, I could never do that.
Tom Griswold
Online dating, yo.
Chick McGee
I could never have been able to. No. Never.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, it seems like that would be right in your wheelhouse. That's way online.
Tom Griswold
But, Tommy, you met yours in real.
Josh Arnold
Life, as you said met mine in real life. I had gotten off the apps. Yeah. I didn't like the dating apps. I saw my cousin on Tinder.
Tom Griswold
Oh, how was that?
Josh Arnold
Well, yeah, it was good. The problem is we. We had to see each other in person then. And then she was like, I saw you, and she was like, what if I accidentally swiped right? I was like, we would have matched balls in your court, Courtney. But no, so I deleted Tinder after that. We met in real life, me and my. At a bar, girlfriend, family reunion. But no, she's a. She's a comic as well, so.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, so we were friends for, like, four years, and then. And then. And then started things up when I moved to New York.
Chick McGee
Cool.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Does she fix your jokes for you? Is she extremely critical?
Josh Arnold
I would say she's the inspiration for some.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
That's a good answer to him.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. We get in a fight and then I walk away after I lose, and then I write it down. I just. It's never worth winning the fight, you know? Have you ever won an argument against your girlfriend or wife in the middle? Been like, wow, the vibes in here are great. I'm happy with my behavior.
Chick McGee
He's crying.
Tom Griswold
I'm calling my boys to celebrate.
Chick McGee
Yeah, I won this time.
Josh Arnold
She thinks. She thinks all the points I made were really, really smart.
Chick McGee
She loved it when I said, I told you so. That always goes over well. Now you're on the road. I know you and Willie are doing a bunch of shows. We were talking a little bit off the air. You know, some people that we know, you've opened. You've opened for some big, big name comics.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. That was like getting out of. Out of Chicago. Getting. Getting this started. The first big one was Louie Anderson. That was a. That was a big moment.
Jess Hooker
Cool.
Josh Arnold
You know, big family, Minnesota. That's like my favorite. It was my first big weekend. I was so bad and so nervous, and I didn't have a car, but it was at that Schaumburg improv, and I was living downtown, so I had to Uber out there. I was supposed to borrow my friend's car. All my friends are comics. So the car didn't work.
Tom Griswold
Sure.
Josh Arnold
So I had to Uber out there. It was like $150 to get out there. I do the show, Whatever it goes. I'm trying to get an Uber back. It's still over a hundred dollars, man. Louie hears me talking about it, and he says, I have a friend driving back to the city. You should go with him. I get in this guy Kevin's car. It's me, Kevin, and his girlfriend. They're both in their 60s. The second I get in the car, Kevin goes, we just got to stop by my daughter's house. And I was like, all right, cool. It becomes clear as we get closer. This is an estranged daughter that doesn't know he's coming.
Chick McGee
What?
Josh Arnold
And the girlfriend is trying to text her to warn her that we're stopping by. We get to Kevin's daughter's house. She meets him on the front lawn. They get into a screaming match. While me and the girlfriend are in the car, windows are down. Cause I was farting.
Tom Griswold
And then.
Josh Arnold
And then she's like, I don't want you in my life. He's like, I have to try. And the girlfriend is like, so how long you been doing comedy? It was so bad. Kevin's life falls apart. He gets back in the car. He's like, oh, let's get you home. They get into it. It's kind of a hostage situation. They're arguing. I'm like, it's a left on La Salle. I get out like a mile from my apartment. I'm like, you nailed it. Thank you, Kevin. And walk home. I go back out the second night for shows, and I was like, I don't know Louie Anderson, but I have to tell him this. So I go up to him. I'm like, hey, man, I just have to tell you, your friend Kevin is, like, going through it, and he goes, oh, I met that guy last night. He, like, fully did it on purpose. He was like, this guy seems crazy in the merch line. Louie had like a 6 sense of humor, and it was the start of a beautiful friendship.
Chick McGee
Were you with me when we were in the Bahamas that one time where we had about eight people in a cab? And it sounds familiar. We were going from the. The beach. We were going whatever. Whatever. That place we stayed.
Jess Hooker
The poop deck. Oh, no. Or the Radisson or whatever.
Chick McGee
Yeah, but we were going downtown, right?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, right. Okay.
Chick McGee
And we get near downtown, and the driver goes, I've just got to go. Go stop by my house.
Jess Hooker
And he was gone for what seemed like, well, this is where we live now. He.
Chick McGee
And he turns into the ghetto. I mean, we are. All of a sudden, it's like we're in a scene from the Harder They Come. Whatever it is. It was. And then we were sitting in front of this guy's house. Okay, well, boy, it. This is kind of a fixer upper, isn't it? Very scary. Scary. But.
Jess Hooker
And there are certain places they. They've told us, well, when we used to go there every year, they'd say, don't go to this. Stay on the. Don't go where we were and don't go where we were. Yeah.
Chick McGee
Which is all right.
Jess Hooker
Concerning Slice of life. We made it. Yeah.
Chick McGee
Yeah. We survived that.
Jess Hooker
Lesson learned.
Chick McGee
Yeah. We're going to find out what's going on with these guys. We've got a lot of other things going on. And Pat. I know even. Yes, Tom, You've got that song. Is your guitar plugged in? It is.
Tom Griswold
Is.
Chick McGee
How does it sound? Beautiful. Okay, good. When we.
Jess Hooker
Are you ready, boy?
Chick McGee
We're going to get a song out of Mr. Godwin. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Part Studios, and this is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jess Hooker

Jess Hooker
At the Silac insurance news desk. There's Pat Godwin. He's got a guitar. It's get box out. There's Josh Arnold.
Tom Griswold
Hello.
Jess Hooker
There's Ace Cosby. I'm Chick mcgee. We're in the o'reilly Auto Parts Studios. And here's Tom with our special guest.
Chick McGee
And I was hoping for a song from Pat, but I've been informed we have another element of the show coming up. Sorry, Pat. You can put it away. Keep dusting it. We have a guest in the studio. We have Willie G and his buddy Tommy Brennan here in the studio with us. And I think Ace n nailed it. Tommy looks like a young Tom Brady.
Pat Godwin
He does. And I noticed something. I was sitting in here talking to the boys when they were. Sorry, you're younger than me. So you're the boys.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
You have a lot of chest hair for looking so baby faced. I was looking right down your shirt the whole time.
Josh Arnold
Well, I transplanted it.
Pat Godwin
Oh, okay.
Chick McGee
Yeah, he has pubes like Larry Zonka.
Pat Godwin
Are you a hairy guy under a all that?
Josh Arnold
I am, yeah. Yeah. I got. I don't know if that's the Irish or the German or whatever it is.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Because you're. You have a very boyish face. Yeah. You said you're 30, but you could easily be in a movie about high school.
Tom Griswold
They call him Teen Wolf.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I mean, his chest hair almost connects with his beard line. Oh, he's.
Chick McGee
Yeah, I like who's the hairiest among us.
Pat Godwin
I'm guessing Pat is probably up.
Chick McGee
I am not.
Pat Godwin
Chick. Are you Harry?
Jess Hooker
I'm Harry, yeah.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Ace.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. Nope.
Chick McGee
No. Okay. Not me for sure.
Pat Godwin
Oh, Oscar.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, it's Oscar for sure.
Chick McGee
No, I meant fully. I meant. I meant fully human. Not. Not part bigfoot. Speaking of Oscar or hairy guys, there he is in the big screen.
Pat Godwin
That's a lot of hair.
Tom Griswold
That's right. Did you.
Chick McGee
Did you trim your beard? No, it's because it's all. It's all fanned out.
Jess Hooker
Wait a minute. Is that the undertaker on your tie?
Tom Griswold
That is. That's pretty rad.
Jess Hooker
That's glorious.
Tom Griswold
And I've got my Paul bearer t go out together.
Jess Hooker
Nice.
Tom Griswold
Had to one up me, right, Josh? No, I. I thought. I thought. Join in. Well, you're sitting next to Tom, so.
Chick McGee
I'll one up you. I want to get a Sammy Terry tie. I love those. I love those horror movie names. Sure. These are wrestlers that's wrestlers. No, that's under the horror movies are much funnier.
Tom Griswold
Should have been a lawyer.
Chick McGee
We all can agree on that.
Tom Griswold
See, Jeff, that's the one. That is the watchman master, baby.
Chick McGee
I don't lower myself to watch wrestling. Okay, what do we have going over there?
Tom Griswold
Well, Tommy and Tom, we give you a lot of the news each week. We don't give you all the news. So I'm here to give you the news that we failed to mention.
Jess Hooker
Here's Jeff Oskay with failed to mention news.
Chick McGee
Whoa, I like that guy.
Tom Griswold
Yesterday you all were talking about coffee enemas. Jess, you said you've done that before.
Pat Godwin
I have.
Jess Hooker
What?
Tom Griswold
You failed to mention. I've had an iced coffee enema before. Painfully cold. Looking back, I probably should have gone with crushed ice. There's a new movement where people go to the movies and all knit together while watching the movie. It's called knits at the flicks. Well, you failed to mention. I tried starting something like that here in the building for people on the restroom breaks. Yeah, called knits. And.
Chick McGee
I thought you were going to be doing a topless one for the ladies.
Pat Godwin
I did too.
Tom Griswold
That would have been way better.
Chick McGee
No.
Tom Griswold
And finally. Really? Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Holy hell.
Tom Griswold
Busy week. We learned this week that there's now naked yoga. Oh yeah, naked yoga. What? You failed to mention. I've said it before. If yoga was really that great and beneficial, you wouldn't have to add dogs and goats and alpacas and beer and nudity just to get people to do it. And this is coming from someone who owned a yoga studio. You don't see other gyms offering Pilates and ponies. Planet Fitness doesn't have Catter Day. Come work out with your cat every Saturday now you can. Your long haired Maine coon mitten can spot you while you're bench pressing. Oh, this weekend at Golden Gyms. Llamas, liquor and lunges. Speaking of yoga, have you ever met someone who just found yoga? Oh, they're the worst. They start ending all their conversations with namaste. They sign their emails. Namaste. Their voicemail greeting. Sorry, Gretchen's probably at the studio. Leave a message. Namaste. Nah, I'm over it. Even worse. Yoga teachers. Yeah, I probably met 100 yoga teachers in my life. Two. Two lived the life. Two out of 100 were actually good people who practiced what they preached. The other 98 horrible people who thought that somehow yoga was going to save them and turn them into not a horrible person. Guess what? Does it work? Let's all breathe in and center our focus on the true spirit of the moment. Be here without being here. Silence that inner voice that's telling us we're no good. No, Candace, listen to that voice. Stop ignoring it. You are a horrible person. Stop being a self centered narcissist biatch. That inner voice you hear is something called a conscience. Stop trying to silence it. But yeah, naked yoga, sure, that'll fix. I'll be honest. If yoga wasn't responsible for launching the best fashion trend ever, yoga pants, I would put forth legislation to have it banned worldwide. I'm Jeff Oskay with the failed Dimension news desk. And here's Pat Godwin with yoga pants.
Chick McGee
I love a lady in a cocktail dress.
Tom Griswold
It's not my favorite, I confess.
Chick McGee
You know what makes me think a romance.
Tom Griswold
A pretty woman in yoga pants.
Chick McGee
I'm behind a gallon yoga class.
Tom Griswold
Can't take my eyes off her shapely ass.
Chick McGee
I should move. No. Namaste. Those yoga pants sure make my day, everybody. All right, thank you everybody.
Tom Griswold
And that was a hell of a handoff.
Pat Godwin
That was wonderful.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
And Jeffrey is right, right though. That is. That is terrific. Thank you very much. Now we are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios and we have a couple stories you really have to get to. I think this one kind of applies to the. The previous segment, do you have the one about the lady attacking her ex boyfriend's car?
Pat Godwin
I do. A woman in Florida was arrested for vandalizing a stranger's car thinking it belonged to her ex.
Chick McGee
Oh, whoops, whoops.
Pat Godwin
We've all been there, ladies. Police responding to a 911 call about a young woman spray painting a vehicle. Vehicle found that 18 year old Evelina Fabianoski had covered a car in yellow paint along with the words Jason and devil. The woman allegedly painted various other scribbles causing $5,000 worth of damage. The suspect, who was assisted by a 16 year old girl, told officers that she was angry at her ex over a 700 debt. She was up. She was charged with criminal mischief, contributing to the delinquency of a child, illegal possession of alcohol and a dui.
Chick McGee
I'm looking at her mug shot. Remember that, that show Wednesday? Yeah, yeah, the. That's. She looks. She's got those eyes.
Jess Hooker
Oh, from the Adams family.
Chick McGee
Yeah, the. The dead eyes. Yeah. I could show you 50 mug shots and you'd be able to pick her up.
Pat Godwin
Well, in her defense, she was drunk and high off of spray paint fumes, so.
Jess Hooker
Better have some fun.
Chick McGee
Let the boys play, ref.
Josh Arnold
Come on.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I'm very pro criminal mischief.
Chick McGee
If it happened to me, I'd be furious. But it has to be a great.
Tom Griswold
Day, especially for that 16 year old girl. Oh, my gosh, she had a ball. You're going to Home Depot together. No, this is the good stuff. That'd be a great time. Right, devil? Right devil.
Chick McGee
But it's the wrong car.
Jess Hooker
I know.
Chick McGee
You gotta do your homework. Some other guy comes. I mean, maybe the ex deserved it, but he's not even involved.
Pat Godwin
Involved.
Jess Hooker
They were just asking for it. Using mischief in that. They get what they get. Okay? It's mischief.
Josh Arnold
Tired of mischief.
Chick McGee
Well, now we have our guests in the studio. Willie G. And Tommy B. And Tommy, tell us more about your life. You've got a girlfriend. You had a one. You're celebrating one year together.
Josh Arnold
About. Yeah, one year coming up in a week.
Chick McGee
So you're on the road all the time. So when you say you're together, how often do you.
Josh Arnold
Actually, I try to get back during the week. You know.
Chick McGee
Conjugal visits.
Josh Arnold
Exactly. Yes. I see her. She's upstate. It's nice. No, I. I was making it up. I liked it.
Tom Griswold
I liked it.
Josh Arnold
I was like, wow, that missed big.
Tom Griswold
It took us a second.
Chick McGee
Because I just learned last year from Al that upstate means, as my mother would say, in the husk Gao or up the river.
Josh Arnold
Oh, okay.
Chick McGee
Yeah, that was the old version. Right. Up the river. You were in Sing Sing or whatever.
Pat Godwin
In the clink.
Jess Hooker
I don't know.
Chick McGee
Yeah, but I mean, up upstate is a nice way. It's a delicate way of saying in. In stir, if you will. In prison.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Pat, you got his prison songs?
Tom Griswold
Many.
Chick McGee
Okay, okay. Very good. I was in there for 14 hours. I wrote a lot.
Jess Hooker
You're changed, man.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah. Makes you hard.
Tom Griswold
Well.
Chick McGee
Yeah, I'm not gonna like Johnny Cash. Yeah, okay. Very, very, very good. We have time to squeeze in one more quick song. What have you got over there? I'm sorry. One more quick news story. Excuse me.
Pat Godwin
Which one do you want? Do you want the plane or do you want the eel?
Jess Hooker
Deplane.
Tom Griswold
Deplane.
Chick McGee
Those are both very good.
Jess Hooker
We're gonna come back. We're gonna come back with the eel.
Chick McGee
Yeah, we'll have to come back with. You could try the plane. That's so gross.
Pat Godwin
Okay, you heard this? Hey. Couple says they were forced to sit next to a corpse after a woman died on a flight from Australia to Qatar.
Tom Griswold
You know, I'd rather be stuck next to a corpse than some energy drink sales rep.
Pat Godwin
Right.
Chick McGee
And you probably get to you probably get to drink the. The. Her half a can of the Coke.
Tom Griswold
Exactly.
Pat Godwin
Mr. Mitchell Ring and Ms. Jennifer Collin were on a Qatar Airways flight. Qatar. About 10 hours in, a passenger collapsed and died.
Chick McGee
Wow.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. Mr. Ring said that the staff, or Mr. Ring said that staff did everything they could, but unfortunately the lady couldn't be saved. The flight crew then put the woman's body in an empty seat next to the couple for the remaining four hours.
Chick McGee
Well, why not her own seat?
Pat Godwin
I don't know.
Tom Griswold
That's what I would complain about.
Pat Godwin
Maybe she collapsed close to their row and it was just.
Tom Griswold
You put that lady in the seat that. That lady was booked in.
Chick McGee
What about the overhead?
Tom Griswold
Well, yeah, I mean, you would think there would be some closet or something they could stuff her in.
Chick McGee
No, I don't want her touching my coat.
Jess Hooker
Get her out of the overhead.
Pat Godwin
Would you feel better if she was in a body bag?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
At least a sheet over, right?
Jess Hooker
Yeah, I don't think I'd have a problem with that.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Kind of lean her up against the.
Jess Hooker
Window and be fine.
Tom Griswold
You get the armrest.
Jess Hooker
If there's a TV in front of.
Tom Griswold
Her and you're sitting next to her, do you turn on Mr. Bean just.
Pat Godwin
So you have the vis.
Tom Griswold
Funny.
Josh Arnold
Probably Weekend at Bernie's.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that would be yes. Yeah. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
She'll have a Biscoff. Yeah.
Chick McGee
Guy.
Jess Hooker
She wants a full Coke, too.
Chick McGee
Gets off the plane. Plane. They get off the plane, they're going down the escalator. There's a guy at the bottom holding a sign. He's a limo driver. Corpse. I mean, there has to be a protocol. You'll have to ask your daughter. She's a flight attendant.
Jess Hooker
I'm sure there was. Yeah. I can't. I'm trying to desperately remember what. What they did. I mean, event of a dead body.
Chick McGee
But I assume they just have to prop it up.
Jess Hooker
But I know they have zip ties in case somebody, you know.
Chick McGee
Right.
Jess Hooker
There's a problem.
Pat Godwin
Unruly.
Chick McGee
Yeah, but would you put it in the window seat?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I would. Then you lean it up against rather.
Chick McGee
Than the middle seat. That'd be. Then you ruin.
Jess Hooker
Well, you don't want them falling into the aisle, I'm guessing. Yeah, you put it in the window seat and then. Then seat belt them in. Right. So they don't fall over pretty quick.
Josh Arnold
She'd be in the. The upright and locked position.
Tom Griswold
About an hour.
Chick McGee
Yeah, she's not going to mess with that tray table.
Jess Hooker
She's hanging out.
Tom Griswold
She's not reclining.
Pat Godwin
Really good passenger, actually.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Chick McGee
Very quiet, ladies and gentlemen.
Jess Hooker
Not complaining about the mask at all. Yeah.
Chick McGee
In the event where you need your oxygen masks, there's an extra one. And row 15, seat B. You can both use it. That. That's.
Jess Hooker
So when you. When the plane lands, the body would lean forward. That'd creep you out, right?
Chick McGee
It depends. I mean, if. How soon does rigor mortis set in?
Tom Griswold
Pretty quickly.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, I want to say 17 to 24. I just read up on all this because it just. Gene Hackman and they were there at least three days, I guess. Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Tom Griswold
At least. What was going on with the word mummification was used. It really was.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Floating and. And bugs.
Chick McGee
So, Chick, you'd say. Yeah, I guess. Josh, I got a question over here. Yeah, you. So you'd rather sit next to the dead body than, you know, a talker?
Tom Griswold
Absolutely.
Jess Hooker
Or somebody with their shoes off or, you know, somebody has to go to the bathroom all the time.
Chick McGee
Can I have her pretzels?
Jess Hooker
She has a peanut allergy.
Chick McGee
Little bag. Wow, that is so gross. Coming up, we have two great stories I'm really excited about, including one about an eel. Yes, I know. Snake, like critter.
Jess Hooker
That's right.
Pat Godwin
It's rough.
Jess Hooker
Lou Gossett and the eel.
Chick McGee
It is rough.
Jess Hooker

Jess Hooker
Remember when the eel bit Lugos head in the deep. Remember that?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Squished just Like a chocolate whopper.
Chick McGee
Remember that? That's one of the few movies people would get just to watch the credits and opening credits and then, oh, Jackie Bisson retire. Oh, that's very, very.
Jess Hooker
According to Nippleville. Oh, yeah. Okay.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah. We are in. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Hotsy Tati. Don't you mean hot? Cha cha cha. The too many chas. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jess Hooker
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. There's Pat Godwin. Hey, check Jess Hooker's here at the Silac Insurance news desk. Hello, there's Josh Arnold. Hey, Ace Cosby. I'm Chick Begee. Chick McGee
I just noticed something.
Jess Hooker
All right.
Chick McGee
This room is as colorful as it's been in ages.
Jess Hooker
Well, that's because you don't like color.
Chick McGee
Well, that came off wrong. Not really.
Jess Hooker
Well, that was. Might have been the truest thing I've ever said.
Chick McGee
53 checks out for sure.
Jess Hooker
You like blacks and grays and browns and sepia.
Chick McGee
But you go around the room. I've got like on black, black and dark blue. Aces wearing all black. You're wearing gray and black. Then we get to guest comedian Tommy Brennan. That jacket like yellow, red, blue. Yeah, that. You look like you're going sailing in 1981.
Josh Arnold
I'm starting to think I've got some attention seeking. Beh.
Tom Griswold
A little peacocking over there maybe.
Chick McGee
Yeah. And then Willie's got a swath of yellow and green. And then if you want advice about.
Tom Griswold
Attention seeking behavior, my therapist is great. He can really help you out.
Chick McGee
Incredible. Ms. Hooker's got kind of a blue.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, lovely sky blue.
Chick McGee
And then. And then Josh has on a red check. Flannel.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, red for Friday.
Jess Hooker
Josh is real dumb.
Chick McGee
Josh, I don't think it's some.
Tom Griswold
I think you're handsome.
Chick McGee
And I'm telling you this, with that.
Tom Griswold
Flannel and that mustache, there are certain.
Jess Hooker
Parts of both the.
Chick McGee
Both females. But also within the gay community, I think you would just be cleaning up.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah, thanks. Yeah, fellas, they're very into the firefighter type.
Josh Arnold
The bear type.
Tom Griswold
Looking very strong.
Chick McGee
Right?
Jess Hooker
A bear type. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I always find it very flattering when I'm hit on by a gay dude.
Josh Arnold
Absolutely.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Yeah. I'm not one to. I'm not gay. So I don't accept, you know, any offers, but I certainly am flattered every time.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
What about the next morning when you wake up there? You can continue to say, say hala. Remember, remember, I'm not gay. I'm not gay.
Tom Griswold
I just really enjoy your penis in my body.
Chick McGee
And thank you.
Jess Hooker
I mean really thank you.
Chick McGee
And thank you for the.
Jess Hooker
Thank you. Okay.
Chick McGee
A great pizza place. I have, I have a couple letters here.
Jess Hooker
Good sound system.
Chick McGee
Oh, we had the new story about the, the world record in which the guy was put in a straight jacket.
Jess Hooker
Back to that.
Chick McGee
And he just. Our letter writer has a point. We don't have to see the video.
Jess Hooker
I think we do. I love the video. Video. It's the best part of it.
Chick McGee
The guy's in this like wooden phone booth like thing. He's on a racetrack. He's trying to get out of a straight jacket.
Jess Hooker
The straight jacket in the box. Trying to get out of everything.
Chick McGee
Guys driving at him in a BMW. And he gets out at the last second, jumps to the side and the. The thing explodes.
Jess Hooker
Very exciting.
Chick McGee
But you'll notice that the. Our letter writer. Dear Bob and Tom, I noticed that he's wearing a white straight jacket. I've noticed this. Straight jackets are always white. White. How do you stay in fashion after Labor Day?
Tom Griswold
That is a good question.
Chick McGee
That's a fair question.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. And the old booby hatch.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, the old nut house.
Chick McGee
I'm sorry, Old Crazy Acres.
Tom Griswold
Now sometimes they're striped. You've seen them especially in like, like Arkham Asylum, I think uses a lot of striped straight.
Jess Hooker
I believe Scarecrow was in a striped straight jacket.
Chick McGee
And then this letter references the story about the woman whose actual name is Soon Bang. S O O N and then new word B, A N G. And Ms. Bang. Charged with operating a brothel in New Jersey. And our letter says she obviously has the slogan, you get the most bang for your buck. Which I think is lovely. Thank you very much. But right now it's time to. Speaking of objects in the body, we have this delightful story.
Tom Griswold
All right.
Pat Godwin
A man in Vietnam is lucky to be alive. 5 After a live eel he inserted into his anus punctured his colon.
Chick McGee
Wow.
Jess Hooker
It did what to his colon?
Pat Godwin
Punctured.
Jess Hooker
Punctured.
Chick McGee
So I'm assuming it means it bit.
Pat Godwin
Well, it. Yeah, we'll. We'll get there. The Straits Times Ironic reports that the 31 year old Indian national was hospitalized last month for severe abdominal pain. Doctors learned that the man had inserted a large eel into a. His anus.
Jess Hooker
You know, he tried the I don't know what it is, doc. Oh, you know what? It might be that eel I shoved in there.
Tom Griswold
I'll be honest. I'm not going to judge a man who puts an eel in his anus.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, all right.
Tom Griswold
That's amore. Oh, thank you. Thank you very much.
Chick McGee
Amore is a more.
Tom Griswold
Is a more, baby.
Chick McGee
Delightful.
Jess Hooker
Delightful.
Pat Godwin
During emergency surgery, they discovered the nearly 26 inch long eel.
Jess Hooker
Oh, what the hell is that?
Chick McGee
That's. That's big.
Tom Griswold
You know, I think we found your answer, sir.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. Do you remember putting an eel in your ass? Do you remember?
Chick McGee
It's about to get worse.
Pat Godwin
They discovered that the eel had bitten through the patient's rectum and colon to escape into the abdominal cavity.
Jess Hooker
I would. I would imagine that the eel doesn't care for this. Wouldn't you think?
Tom Griswold
Once out.
Pat Godwin
Hold on. But after removing the eel, the doctors also extracted a lemon through the anus.
Tom Griswold
A garnish of sort.
Chick McGee
You gotta season it, Josh.
Jess Hooker
Lemons.
Pat Godwin
When you have eel, you know, you gotta.
Jess Hooker
A lemon.
Tom Griswold
Tommy, Bren, your thoughts on this?
Josh Arnold
Well, I'm wondering is, does the lemon. Was that like bait for the eel?
Tom Griswold
Right, right.
Pat Godwin
True. It's. It was not clear how and when the lemon had been inserted into the man's wreck.
Josh Arnold
Maybe a lead blocker.
Chick McGee
You know, maybe he put the. Maybe he put the eel in.
Jess Hooker
No, no, he went to lemon and then he sent the eel in to get the lemon.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Well, I think. I think Tommy's on to something here. You put the lemon in to keep things open because the eel won't want to. Won't try to get in. You have to slide it in.
Josh Arnold
It's kind of like, you know, when Sloth and the Goonies holds the. The. The boulder up so that everyone absolutely get through.
Pat Godwin
That's.
Josh Arnold
It's the same thing.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
The lamb. I don't know.
Jess Hooker
Am I right?
Chick McGee
Gives you lemons. Shove them back there.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I'll figure something out.
Chick McGee
Boy, aren't you glad you didn't wake up this morning thinking, you know something? I think two beers and an eel and a lemon. It is Friday.
Josh Arnold
I hate when they use teeth, you know?
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Jess Hooker
If it's a lemon, we're going to have to get a shandy. I would think. Summer.
Chick McGee
Summer shandy.
Jess Hooker
Right, right. Lining co.
Chick McGee
Okay. Sours before five.
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Chick McGee
Not the season for a shandy. Our guest, Willie G. Pat.
Tom Griswold
Do you have a song about the eel? You do?
Chick McGee
Oh, we could do something like that, I think.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, I think he does. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
So I'd like to know where you got.
Chick McGee
The more I'd like to know where you got the more else the butt.
Tom Griswold
Baby.
Chick McGee
Thank you very much, everybody.
Jess Hooker
We're carrying him out on our shoulders.
Chick McGee
No verse. We talked about no verse. He was squirrel. Okay, let's find out more about our guest. Tommy. Tommy. Your huge family. Eight kids, right?
Josh Arnold
Big family. Yeah. Eight kids.
Chick McGee
Your parents, Interesting jobs of any kind? Mom.
Josh Arnold
Mom's stay at home. Mom, Dad's a doctor.
Jess Hooker
Oh.
Josh Arnold
Kind of fun. Yeah. Because I don't have health insurance, so that's a good. It's a good relationship. He's like, I don't believe in your career. I'm like, me too.
Chick McGee
Right.
Josh Arnold
Right back at you. It was.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
My dad's a doctor. We.
Chick McGee
We.
Josh Arnold
Everything was at home for us. You know, if you. If, like, if, you know, medical people, they don't really believe in healthcare, so everything was at home. The operation. Stitches. I got stitches two times on our kitchen table. That's not. That's gotta be malpractice. Wasn't sterile. My dad would clear off the mail and be like, get up there. That's how I was conceived. But I die hard, you know? Yeah, yeah, it was. It was a fun time. Never went to a doctor. Still don't really know how to behave. When I go, it's like a stranger.
Tom Griswold
Sure.
Josh Arnold
He's like, do you smoke? I'm like, are you gonna tell Mom? I'm scared. You know, that's.
Chick McGee
That's. That is very awkward.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Yeah. My dad and I, we're. We're good. It's. You know, I still use him for, like, medical care, though, but it's just. It's a weird. That's a weird relationship to have with your primary care physician. He'll tell me to drink less. I'm like, you. You gotta hug more. Let's root cause, not the symptom.
Chick McGee
And by the way, just a little word of warning. You're getting to the age where.
Josh Arnold
Oh, I know. I got to get a new one before then.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Otherwise I'm going to send a Neil up there.
Chick McGee
Yeah, maybe.
Jess Hooker
Time.
Chick McGee
That is an awkward day.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Especially if it begins with. What's your mom's name?
Josh Arnold
Aaron.
Chick McGee
Hey, Aaron. I'm out of gloves. Got those ones you use in the dishwasher.
Jess Hooker
I'd wash the table off real quick if I were you.
Chick McGee
Last week, this show emanated from Iowa. We had a great time. We also sold a bunch of shirts. And we're gonna give the money to the Stead Family Children's Hospital. I think we're gonna have a number on that, I guess. By Monday, I know it's approaching $9,000. Is that right? 10,000. Oh, cool. Well, great. We're gonna be doing a new shirt. We got a couple visits coming in honor of the baseball season. Season. We're going to be visiting Cincinnati and Toledo, Ohio, and we will have some very special shirts and again, once again, donating the money to a children's hospital in those towns. So we'll be letting you know about all that coming up. You ever been to Iowa, by the way, Tommy?
Josh Arnold
I have.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
I. Last time I was in Iowa, I really embarrassed myself.
Tom Griswold
Oh.
Josh Arnold
I. We were. We were doing a show, and I don't know. I got some, like, road. Road jokes that, like, plug and play. I almost said it. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I was like, this story's gonna be rad.
Pat Godwin
Oh, my God.
Chick McGee
No, I.
Josh Arnold
You know, I got, like, some plug and play jokes where you make fun of the town nearby. And, you know, and I asked. I was in Dubuque, and I asked for a town to make fun of, and. And this. This bartender said Waterloo. So I. I get on stage, and I take four or five swings at Waterloo. Really bombing, like, missing big. Can't figure it out. And then I get off stage, and my buddy Tim Smith, who is headlining, he stops me on the way off stage. He goes, hey, Waterloo is the only historically black town in Iowa.
Tom Griswold
Crazy.
Josh Arnold
So the bartender completely screwed me over. I was up there looking so racist. I was saying stuff like, go back to Waterloo. If I wanted to dive an overdose, I'd move to Waterloo. All this crazy stuff. And. And she didn't get what I was going for. She was black and from Waterloo. And I was like, you see what I look like?
Jess Hooker
I.
Josh Arnold
You can't tell me that. Yeah, it was. Yeah, that was a nightmare. I haven't been back to Iowa since.
Chick McGee
Yeah. We often talk to comedians that they'll do a corporate gig, and the person that sets it up will come up. Oh, yeah, you got to make fun of our CEO's wife. You learn after a while, you don't want to do that. It doesn't always go over. We've. We've all learned that lesson.
Josh Arnold
That is.
Chick McGee
Yeah. But in every. Every water and every place has a place they want. They want you to make fun of.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
And that can really backfire.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Well, people like to think they're better than the town. Next, everybody.
Chick McGee
It's just.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Audience. Local audiences love that stuff. Yeah, they do. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Everybody hates somebody. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I learned when I started, I learned in Chicago.
Chick McGee
You make fun of Indiana and Indiana.
Tom Griswold
Make fun of Kentucky, Kentucky make fun.
Chick McGee
Of Tennessee, Tennessee make fun of Kentucky.
Tom Griswold
And then it stops.
Chick McGee
It's so interesting how that works. I, I can remember George Lopez, the comedian, was telling us one time the hierarchy of people who speak Spanish and there's, there's like a whole thing like the Castilian Spanish number one, blah, blah, blah, and it goes down the lawn and then you get, you get way down. Everybody hates, you know, I won't go into the TV details, but when George says it, it's really funny. Yeah. Wow. Well, thank you very much. We have time to get to some other stuff coming up, including we're going to be moving our Today in History segment in the future. But today we'll do it coming up next. We have some interesting things happening, including some birthdays and some important dates in history that are on the way. But right now it's important that you can go home and relax this weekend and feel, feel comfortable in your surroundings.

Hello.
Jess Hooker
We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. There's Pat Godwin.
Chick McGee
Hi, Chick.
Jess Hooker
Hello, Josh Arnold.
Tom Griswold
Chick.
Jess Hooker
Ace Cosby's here. I'm Chick McGee. And here's Tom Griswold. We have our special guests.
Chick McGee
Well, we got Willie G right there and Tommy B. Tommy Brennan. The two of them are on the road. They will be at the Leisure Club in Columbus, Ohio, tonight. Then Cincinnati's Commonwealth Sanctuary. Saturday and Sunday, it's the famous Hilarities in Cleveland, Ohio. We've got a couple special shows that'll be coming to you from Ohio kind of down the road a piece. I'll give you all the details.
Tom Griswold
Absolutely.
Pat Godwin
Really are in Ohio?
Jess Hooker
Yeah. Unless they move Cincinnati or Toledo.
Chick McGee
I think technically one of them may emanate from Northern Kentucky.
Pat Godwin
You know what? He's right. Sorry, guys.
Jess Hooker
Wait a minute. Now you're telling me that's Kentucky over there?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
This is the Ohio River. Is that what you're saying? Huh? Okay.
Pat Godwin
If you know, you know.
Jess Hooker
That's right.
Chick McGee
Now, we were talking about.
Jess Hooker
Some of you really enjoyed that localization.
Chick McGee
You are a Buckeye.
Jess Hooker
I am? Well, yeah, I'm a Buckeye. That's right.
Chick McGee
I mean, do people.
Jess Hooker
Columbus, Ohio, baby.
Chick McGee
Do people from Ohio State Buckeyes.
Jess Hooker
What do you want to know?
Josh Arnold
You fired up, Chick, Yell at him.
Jess Hooker
I'm fired up.
Chick McGee
National champion now, man.
Jess Hooker
Right now we got the Natty.
Chick McGee
Don't take this from him.
Jess Hooker
We fought that. We fought for that ship.
Chick McGee
Now you are. You grew up a fan of two things. The Ohio State Buckeyes, of course, and not.
Jess Hooker
Not hitting your kids. Yes.
Chick McGee
And then. And then the Washington Football Club.
Jess Hooker
That's right.
Chick McGee
Is there a where the. Where the. What do you call it? When the two things, the two streams meet. Is there a favorite Ohio State football player that became a Redskin, as they were?
Jess Hooker
Oh, goodness, yes. Right now, Terry McLaurin is wide receiver.
Chick McGee
So that's like double your pleasure, double your fun.
Jess Hooker
No. 1 Noah Brown's Ohio State guy. There's a couple of linebackers from Ohio State.
Chick McGee
It's got to be.
Jess Hooker
I'm not up to snuff on my. On my roster, but yeah, because I.
Chick McGee
Could work up a poster all the time where we could have each one of these guys with their Ohio State photo. Then their Redskins slash Commanders photo.
Jess Hooker
Would you. That would be really great. And if you could bring the poster in and work on it during the show. Really great. And call PJ during the show.
Chick McGee
I just tried to call. He didn't answer.
Jess Hooker
And check with him and see how things.
Chick McGee
We're working on something right now.
Jess Hooker
It is time Anybody answer the phone? Wasn't a doctor or was it.
Chick McGee
No, he's okay.
Jess Hooker
Okay, that's good.
Chick McGee
Let's see if he tried to go. Okay, let's go forward here. We have.
Jess Hooker
What do we got?
Chick McGee
A question. Actually, I think you'll get this one really easily.
Jess Hooker
Well, wait a minute. Time now for. Do you know what day it is?
Tom Griswold
April 2nd.
Pat Godwin
Yes, he knows what day it is.
Chick McGee
I better. It's Kelly's birthday. Once again, she was sick so I.
Jess Hooker
Thought you agency was sick.
Chick McGee
She was really. So I had to sleep in the guest room last night. So there. There's her first present. Here we go. I tell.
Jess Hooker
What.
Chick McGee
I'm going to run this one by Tommy Brennan because you're a man that's not of a certain age.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
See if you get this one.
Tom Griswold
He's 30.
Chick McGee
Yeah, but I don't. I don't think he's going to get this one.
Josh Arnold
Oh.
Chick McGee
On this date.
Tom Griswold
He's not going to get. If you don't take.
Jess Hooker
You get it?
Josh Arnold
I'm trying.
Jess Hooker
Spit it out. M. Let's go.
Chick McGee
After all the pauses you did during your poem, I'm taking a bunch of dramatic pauses.
Jess Hooker
That was the single most wonderfully performed poems I've ever heard.
Tom Griswold
They're called iambic beats.
Chick McGee
Boom. We gotta get you at a poetry read, man. We gotta get you in a coffee shop.
Tom Griswold
I hate it.
Chick McGee
Here we go. This took place in 1983.
Jess Hooker
Harriet.
Chick McGee
Tommy. Only don't shout out the answer.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Chick McGee
This television program aired on this date in 1983. An estimated 70% of all the televisions that were on were watching this show. The audience estimated to be be pretty much as much as the last Super Bowl. 125 million people.
Josh Arnold
Wow.
Chick McGee
What show was it?
Josh Arnold
Saturday Night Live.
Chick McGee
It was not.
Josh Arnold
No, that's. That's not 50 years.
Pat Godwin
No, this is seven years before you're born. How old are you? 30.
Josh Arnold
30. This is 11 years before I was born.
Chick McGee
I'll give you a hint. It was the final episode of this program and it was a technically a sitcom.
Josh Arnold
Is it in After a City Mash.
Chick McGee
Mash. Mash is the correct answer.
Josh Arnold
God, that made me very.
Chick McGee
And I did the math on this. There were actually more half hour episodes of MASH than there were half hours of the Korean War and arguably next.
Jess Hooker
To the final Seinfeld episode, the worst finale in the history of the world.
Chick McGee
It was awful.
Tom Griswold
It was considered bad.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
I had no idea.
Pat Godwin
It was not too bad.
Chick McGee
It was bad. And. And it.
Jess Hooker
There you go. Look at that.
Chick McGee
And that whole show went off the rails after about three days.
Jess Hooker
They decided not to be actors. They just decided to become them. And it was.
Chick McGee
Yeah, it really stopped being funny. But of course, there's a channel now that does nothing but play it every day. Okay, Tommy, so far, you got that one.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
You have to get three to get allowed to leave.
Josh Arnold
Okay. Yeah.
Chick McGee
Or to get my. My voice on your voicemail.
Tom Griswold
Carl.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Carl Castle.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, Carl Castle.
Jess Hooker
Nobody wants that.
Chick McGee
Oh, I love that show. Here we go. In 2013, this gentleman, man of the cloth, resigned from his position. 2013, famously, for the first time in this position in hundreds of years. Who was it?
Josh Arnold
Pope Benedict.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Jess Hooker
Very good.
Josh Arnold
A good, but Catholic Boycock.
Jess Hooker
I think I broke it.
Chick McGee
Yeah. And you.
Tom Griswold
Well, you grow up over there.
Chick McGee
If you remember, if you remember carefully, when Pope Benedict resigned, Benedict, he recommended Kamala Harris run for office.
Tom Griswold
There is something there.
Chick McGee
Yeah, there's definitely something there.
Josh Arnold
You Hawk personally, I wanted Bernie in there.
Chick McGee
Now a birthday days. I love this guy.
Jess Hooker
You better tell her. Say hers first, dude.
Chick McGee
Okay. Sorry. A 1915. Zero mostel. Oh, great actor.
Jess Hooker
I thought you're gonna say Kelly was born in 1950.
Chick McGee
Wow.
Jess Hooker
She looks great.
Chick McGee
Zara must look great. Did you ever see the movie the Front?
Tom Griswold
I have seen the front. He should have won best supporting actor.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I don't even know if he was nominated.
Chick McGee
I love that movie.
Jess Hooker
I think the producers. Right.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Drug it down.
Chick McGee
Yeah. No, that whole movie's happy birthday, friend of the show. Mario Andretti, born on this date in 1940. Always, always a really nice guy to hang out with. And of course, a brilliant driver. Italian fellow, 1948.
Jess Hooker
That's I. Italian.
Tom Griswold
Oh, sorry.
Chick McGee
Gosh. Bernadette Peters.
Pat Godwin
I love her.
Chick McGee
The jerk. For those that slept with her. Burning Peters, they used to call.
Jess Hooker
Steve Martin, I believe.
Chick McGee
Caught the nail in Cuba, I think it was. Yeah. And then on this date in 1953, this is the. This is the killer for you, Tommy. Okay, I'm gonna give you one of the names, and you got to come up with one that's more well known. 1953, they discovered DNA. It was Francis Crick and Sherlock Holmes is your hint. Oh, boy.
Tom Griswold
Oh, come on, man.
Chick McGee
You got to nail this one.
Josh Arnold
I'm not even sure what the question was. They discovered DNA.
Tom Griswold
I don't believe the is fairly elementary, my dear.
Chick McGee
You got this, the book, the double helix. This is so mean to do, by the way.
Tom Griswold
Yes, it is.
Chick McGee
My dear.
Jess Hooker
Dummy.
Chick McGee
My dear Watson. James, I would never have gotten that either.
Josh Arnold
So it doesn't give Watson what happened on this date.
Tom Griswold
They just. They discovered DNA.
Chick McGee
Then Josh. Josh discovered DNA in one of his T shirts this morning.
Tom Griswold
Discovered it. I put it there.
Chick McGee
Millions of lost souls.
Tom Griswold
My laundry is a holocaust.
Jess Hooker
Can you put a fill a hole up with that stuff?
Tom Griswold
I can, yeah. I can fix a flat. It's like flex seal.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Chick McGee
That was great. Oh, thank you very much, everybody. We are in the O'Reli Auto Part Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jess Hooker
Thanks for listening to the Bob and Tom show this morning. Even though we're not too much to look at. You can also watch the show on our YouTube channel. Bravo TV star Lala Kent holds nothing back.
Pat Godwin
Like I go into a full spiral.
Jess Hooker
Get to know the TV personality.
Pat Godwin
I talked about this with Teresa Giudice.
Jess Hooker
Remember when I pushed Andy Cohen?
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Jess Hooker
It was iconic. The entrepreneur.
Pat Godwin
What are we manifesting in 2025? And the mom Sosa is a dream baby. Your kids are older.
Chick McGee
It's Bravo children. The celebrity.
Tom Griswold
Celebrity.
Pat Godwin
Children of celebrity. Bravo love. Give them Lala.
