Tom Griswold
Okay, Mr. Jenkins, that's a take.
Pat Godwin
Good. I've got kind of a busy day ahead of me. I have to go record a commercial for my memory sake.
Christy Lee
Hey, you know, I'm not quite sure that guy knows exactly what he's selling there.
Tom Griswold
Oh, it works. It's or my Name isn't Christy Lee. Wait, wait, I'm sorry. That's.
Christy Lee
That's.
Tom Griswold
Does someone write that down?
Christy Lee
But speaking of. Of Christy Lee's there at the Silac Insurance Company news desk, there's Pat Godwin.
Josh Arnold
Hey, Josh.
Christy Lee
Jeff Oskay sitting in for Chickster today.
Jeff Oskay
Hi.
Christy Lee
Ace Cosby across the way. Hey, I'm Josh Arnold at the I Hate Steven Singer sidekick chair, of course. This is the Bob and Tom Show. We are here live at the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. And there he is, the one, the only Tom Griswold.
Tom Griswold
I don't see him. Oh, wait a minute. Well, thank you very much. Great. Great to be here. Everybody had a great weekend.
Christy Lee
Quite nice.
Tom Griswold
We have a Punxsutawney Phil update.
Christy Lee
Oh, you know what I didn't hear? What?
Tom Griswold
Okay, between that and the score of the Pro bowl, what was this flag football game? Things I don't care about.
Ace Cosby
What was it, like, 48 to 48 or something?
Christy Lee
That's another thing I did. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
We have a lot of interesting things going on today. Of course.
Ace Cosby
Watch the Grammys last night.
Tom Griswold
I did. Not all I did. I. I've never thought they were very good.
Christy Lee
Christy. Were they good?
Ace Cosby
I didn't watch them either.
Christy Lee
Oh, okay.
Ace Cosby
I just read about them this morning.
Tom Griswold
I remember when I was a kid, they, you know, the Beatles would never win, and they would give them to.
Ace Cosby
You know, whatever the Beatles won this year for now and then. Best rock recording album or something.
Tom Griswold
Oh, really? Well, thanks. Talk about day late and a dollar short, right? It doesn't. Doesn't Beyonce win every award anyway?
Ace Cosby
Beyonce did win album of the year. Okay, Great album. And she won the country album of the year for that.
Christy Lee
Oh, I'm sure that's stirring up controversy.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. Chris Stapleton won an award.
Josh Arnold
I like him.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Oh, Casey Musgrave.
Ace Cosby
Lamar, your super bowl halftime again.
Tom Griswold
He could come in here and be on fire. I wouldn't know which guy he was.
Josh Arnold
He'd be the guy on fire.
Tom Griswold
Okay? That's how I pick him out. I'm sure it's not my thing. Not a rap fan.
Ace Cosby
Jimmy Carter won a Grammy again.
Tom Griswold
Day late and a dollar short. Geez. They went to the very end of God. He was 100 and B's dead.
Christy Lee
And, you know, they're just patting themselves on the back. Oh, yeah, we had to give it.
Tom Griswold
For obscure vice presidents. Alvin Barkley gets the Grammy for Let's Sorry. No, I didn't. I just saw what's his name? Kanye west arrived with a naked woman.
Ace Cosby
That was his wife. She made him.
Tom Griswold
I mean, naked.
Ace Cosby
He made her drop her fur. And then the picture I saw, they.
Tom Griswold
Had to pixelate her front. Naughty.
Ace Cosby
And yeah, she was naked for sure. Nice boobs, though, man.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, she does.
Ace Cosby
God.
Tom Griswold
Well, I'm glad that. I'm glad that it's about the music. Yeah.
Christy Lee
I was just gonna ask. I. I was surprised he was invited.
Ace Cosby
He was asked to leave. They. Or they left on their own accord. Who knows?
Christy Lee
Gotcha.
Ace Cosby
They did do the red carpet and they got all the attention, which is what I wanted.
Tom Griswold
I'd like to find out a way to get people who are watching the red carpet so they can't vote anymore. Is that possible? Just asking. I. If you're wasting your time watching that. I say that knowing that my two daughters were watching.
Christy Lee
Right. Well, yeah, but that's who should be watching in a way.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I was. I was. I was in my office semi working, and all of a sudden Finn comes rushing in, hands waving. Taylor Swift is there.
Christy Lee
Yeah, See, that's fun for them.
Josh Arnold
Did she win? Did she win?
Ace Cosby
No, she was presenting.
Josh Arnold
Presenting.
Tom Griswold
Oh, and then she bought everybody their car. Yeah, and that's. That's. That's still. And one affect her.
Christy Lee
I did see one part that I thought was weird. I thought it was odd. They did an eight minute Diddy medley. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I was. I was surprised.
Tom Griswold
Really?
Ace Cosby
Yeah, they did do. They opened with Randy Newman's I Love LA down by, you know, a bunch of stars.
Tom Griswold
He did, yeah.
Ace Cosby
Oh, that makes sense because they're raising money for the fire.
Christy Lee
Well, good for them.
Ace Cosby
That's good. Yeah. So that was.
Tom Griswold
Well, but you're right.
Ace Cosby
Kanye West, Bianca or whatever her name is, she was naked as the day she was born.
Jeff Oskay
No, she had. Yeah. Sheer dress, but it was 100.
Tom Griswold
Got a message to check it and I went online and it was pixelated.
Christy Lee
I have not seen this person. I didn't know he was with a lady.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, she looks like Kim Kardashian.
Ace Cosby
Exactly. Like she need.
Tom Griswold
Well, she took time off from her job working for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and then she's developing a new theory of gravity.
Christy Lee
Oh, I see real.
Ace Cosby
There you go.
Christy Lee
When you just flashed the picture, I was like, oh, that's a naked woman, right?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, she's naked again.
Tom Griswold
It's. It's about that. No, no, he wants to flash Chris. He doesn't want to see at that.
Ace Cosby
My boobs do not look that good. They look good, but not that.
Christy Lee
Let's do a side by side.
Tom Griswold
Okay. We'll Do a side by side. Oscar and Lee over there in the corner.
Josh Arnold
I think I might win.
Jeff Oskay
Mine are the hairy ones.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. How do you know?
Christy Lee
I did see a musical performance on TV yesterday. The Munsters rented their house.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Can you guess?
Ace Cosby
They rented their house. The band that ended up renting their house, The Monkeys.
Tom Griswold
No, it would have been earlier.
Christy Lee
I wish the Standells.
Pat Godwin
The Standells.
Ace Cosby
Who are the Stand?
Josh Arnold
Dirty water right now.
Tom Griswold
Do you know who's in the Standells?
Ace Cosby
I don't know.
Christy Lee
I was going to ask you this. There's a guy like Larry Tamblyn or something.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, very good. Russ Tamblin's brother. Russ, of course, played Riff in West side Story. I just read his autobiography, this last dancing on the edge. And Amber Tamber.
Christy Lee
Zack. Well, Ross is her dad, right?
Tom Griswold
No.
Christy Lee
Oh.
Tom Griswold
Oh.
Christy Lee
Larry is.
Tom Griswold
I'm. Excuse me. Yes, you're correct. Russ Tamblyn is Amber stage. Ah. Who's married to the great comedian David Cross. David Cross. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Russ Tambon. I read his book last year. It's great. I'm a big fan of the movie west side Story.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, we know. We've heard.
Tom Griswold
Russ is a great, great, great lifestyle.
Christy Lee
They did not play dirty water. They played I want to hold your hand.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah, they did.
Christy Lee
They did.
Tom Griswold
There's a whole series of bizarre appearances by real bands on sitcoms, the most obscure being Doobie Brothers. I was gonna say L. George. And I think the band little feet is on an episode of what's. Yeah. With. What's the. With AARN F Troop.
Ace Cosby
F What?
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Josh Arnold
How bizarre Little seat was on F. Tr.
Christy Lee
I don't remember that.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah.
Christy Lee
There's every now and again during the civil war, they would.
Tom Griswold
Ye. Well, then, of course, you can't forget the Harlem. Harlem Globetrotter showing up on Gilligan's Island. I love stuff like that. Just kind of reminding you that television is really dumb. They don't take themselves too seriously.
Jeff Oskay
I wasn't iced tea on Sesame street like before. Oh, like while he was iced tea. Like he came on as a guest on.
Christy Lee
What I was going to ask was before law and order or.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah, yeah, almost. Yeah. Everybody's been on Sesame.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
G stands for the guy who sang.
Josh Arnold
Cop killer was on Sesame.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. This is a great topic. We'll have to delve into it. Coming up. Coming up, we have a great letter with proof justifying something I've been claiming for 50 years that no one believed. I only wish Chick were here to see the proof. But that's coming up because you don't. Don't we all love being right about something? And we have a bunch of great things going on in the world of news and some weird stuff in sports, including a rather odd bobblehead night issue. And who doesn't love bobblehead? We have a bunch of bobbleheads in.
Ace Cosby
Our, in our green room.
Tom Griswold
In our green room. Yeah. We'll have to see if we can get one of these. That's all. That's all on the way. Plus, I believe we're going to have a visit today from comedian Reno Collier and looking forward to a. To big we. A big week, of course, including Sadie Allison. Dr. Sadie Allison, who is the. She is a. What is it? A PhD in human sexuality. But she also has a retail store specializing in various sexy time gizmos, if you will.
Christy Lee
You must be referring to Tickle Kitty.
Tom Griswold
That's right.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
So how, how far away are we from Valentine's Day, Christy?
Ace Cosby
Well, today is the third, so it's the 14th. So every 11. 11 days.
Tom Griswold
And it's a Friday night.
Ace Cosby
Correct.
Tom Griswold
Which is interesting because I, I was reading that because Groundhog Day was on a weekend they broke the record for attendance.
Christy Lee
Oh, I see.
Ace Cosby
I can understand.
Tom Griswold
Apparently people drink all day long and try to stay up for the Groundhog on Sunday morning. Wow. Huge event. We'll be of an update on Groundhog Day right now, with Valentine's Day just around the corner, you meet be stuck for a gift. And of course, we talk a lot about the cool stuff you can get from Steven Singer jewelers. But also, how about this? This is the one of those gifts where you do the Christy Lee thing. And if you're not familiar with that, it's when you go shopping, you buy one for whoever the giftee is. Right. And then you buy one for yourself, the gifter. So what I'm talking about are the Raycon earbuds or the Raycon over the head headphones. I'm a big fan of the latter, especially if you're doing some traveling, maybe on President's Day weekend. And you want, you want the kids to be in the backseat of the car just looking at their iPads. You don't have to listen to whatever crap they're listening to because they've got their earbuds in or their headphones out. Raycon everyday earbuds. The perfect partner, by the way, if you're at the gym or at work, depending on what you do. And they've got, of course, great sound, we call it premium sound. And the Raycon earbuds cost about half as much as those other ones. You know the ones, the white ones that you see lying in the parking lot when they fall out of somebody's ear. Raycon earbuds have those rubbery things. What are they called?
Ace Cosby
Gel tips.
Tom Griswold
Gel tips. Thank you very much. Fortunately, someone helped me figure mine out, so mine stay in my ears just fine. They also come in an array of colors, if that's significant for you. If someone wants to know what that thing is in your ear, find out what I'm talking about. Visit buyraycon.com Tom by the way, today, 20% off site wide. That means everything. 20% off right now. So you just go to buyraycon.com Tom that's a lot of three letters together. B, U, Y, R, A, Y, C, O, N, C, O, M, t o M. Duda. Duda by Raycon.com/Tom the Great everyday earbuds. Forest green, blush violet, royal blue, pink hearts. Oh, wait a minute.
Ace Cosby
The pink hearts, that's that, that's lucky charm.
Tom Griswold
Okay, sorry, I get carried away. Check it out. Buyraycon.com Tom Looking forward to a great day today and your hint coming up, a little bit of Sammy Davis Jr. Oh, God. Oh, yes, the candyman can we are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios, and this is the Bob and Tom Show. Hey. Hi, it's Tom along with Chicken, Josh and Christy, and we're here to talk about Express vpn. Going online without Express VPN is like leaving your laptop unattended at the coffee shop while you run to the bathroom. Most of the time you're probably fine, but what if one day you come out of the bathroom and your laptop is gone? You need to use a VPN because every time you connect to an unencrypted network at cafes, hotels, airports and other public places, your online data is not secure. Any hacker on the same network can gain access to and steal your personal data like passwords, bank logins, credit card details, and more.
Ace Cosby
Express VPN stops hackers from stealing your data by creating a secure encrypted tunnel between your device and the Internet. ExpressVPN is super secure and easy to use. It would take a hacker with a supercomputer over a billion years to get past Express VPNs encryption. All you need to do is fire up the app and click one button to get protected.
Christy Lee
You know, one of our staff members signed up for ExpressVPN because they had an identity theft scare when they were shopping online. Their kids were accessing the Internet and she wanted to be cautious about their privacy. Express VPN works on all devices, phones, laptops, tablets and more. So you, you can stay secure on the go.
Tom Griswold
Secure your online data today by visiting ExpressVPN.com BobandTom that's E X P-R-E-S-S V P N.com BobandTom and you can get an extra four months free. ExpressVPN.com BobandTom.
Christy Lee
Live from the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios, this is the Bob and Tom Show. Christy, Pat, Asa. There's Jeff Oskay this morning.
Jeff Oskay
Thank you.
Christy Lee
I'm Josh Arnold. Tom, you have a heck of a day.
Tom Griswold
We certainly do. It's great to be here. Thank you very much for joining us. Now, got a bunch of letters here. Kind of a new tradition on the show at this hour. If you'd like to reach us, Bob and tomobandtom.com we would love to hear from you. Whatever the topic, whatever you're into, we'll try to go through it. I have a stack of letters here.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, I have a letter.
Tom Griswold
Oh, you have one.
Ace Cosby
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Why don't you ladies first.
Ace Cosby
This kind of is a. Yeah, Tom's right. Kind of thing. Last summer, this is from Jim. He goes, dear nutty people, last summer I was in Bogota, Colombia. While walking on the streets, an armored car pulled over near me to go into a bank. My heart skipped a beat. I could not get out of the area fast enough. Thanks, Tom. Oh, by the way, the guards were carrying big guns and looking around nervously.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that's the thing. An armored truck in Bogota is a tad different.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Yeah. I just, as a general rule, if I go to a store and I pull up and I see the one of those armored trucks.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
You know something, maybe I'll shop elsewhere just for now. I'm sure it's going to be safe. But you know, can't, can't be too careful. Dear Bob and Tom show writes, Mr. Hull, it's my birthday. Can I get a lap dance from Christy? I don't know how that works. Apparently you're not going to do. This is a similar topic. We had a guest on the show Friday who discussed her love of the. Of crystals.
Ace Cosby
Yes.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Kelsey Cook is a, she enjoys having the crystals around.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. I'm not familiar with this, but I asked what crystals do and this guy said, I'll tell you what diamonds do. Panty droppers.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
So there you go, fellas. There's your tip. Oh, this is from a lady. This is from a Sarah So ladies, she knows. So she would know. Apparently, fellas, if you were thinking of getting your. Your lady a set of crystals for Valentine's Day, apparently the better move is the is going with diamonds. We'll discuss that in just a second because we know a diamond guy or a few that can certainly help you out. This comes to us from Travis, works in an emergency. Demented old gentleman came in with several feet of weed whacker string inside his male member. He said he had a deep itch. We had to take him to surgery.
Christy Lee
Look, when it says whacker, you don't.
Jeff Oskay
Here's one for you, Josh. Oh, Bob and Tom. On the topic you guys have been on before, I decided to play dead in front of my one year old cat. He did not pause or second guess. He admitted immediately began to sniff and bite my nose. Apparently the love isn't what I thought it was told, Josh. That gravy is only in it for the life insurance. Oh, that's for Mike in Ohio.
Tom Griswold
We have another cat story coming up today, but right now your Bob and Tom show from Wisconsin. Jay writes. We had our winter festival this weekend. One of the local establishments had a hot dog eating contest. 10 bucks to enter, 50 bucks going to the winner. People were having a great time until one of the participants choked and collapsed.
Christy Lee
Oh, man.
Jeff Oskay
What?
Tom Griswold
He was reported as pnb. Person not breathing.
Ace Cosby
Yikes.
Tom Griswold
He did come around. Was rushed to the hospital. He's expected to make a full recovery.
Christy Lee
All right, well next time right in.
Jeff Oskay
After he's made a full recovery. That's still up in the air.
Christy Lee
Kind of worry about this guy.
Ace Cosby
Entered for 10 and only 150 or.
Tom Griswold
In this case he was disqualified, probably several thousand for the ambulance ride and the potential of having a. The festival held in his honor in future years with a big, big sign. We miss Richard. He died doing what he loved, cramming hot dogs down his throat. Oh, this is interesting.
Christy Lee
You may be the judge of that.
Tom Griswold
You may recall I was very excited. I recently bought a toolkit to repair the aglets on shoelaces.
Christy Lee
Yes, sure did.
Jeff Oskay
Now you act like you're a poor.
Tom Griswold
No, but it's that. Is that, that's what it's for. I have a. A beautiful old ski jacket and it has one of a couple of those. I don't know how you call those cords that go around the waist and. Yes, sir, you know what I'm talking about. So you can adjust the. And both of those things are frayed. So I can't just replace it.
Jeff Oskay
Right.
Tom Griswold
Because you'd have to. I don't know how you would do it because you have to weed it or, you know, get it.
Ace Cosby
I understand what you're saying.
Tom Griswold
So I bought this aglet kit to fix those.
Ace Cosby
Did you?
Tom Griswold
Now, this is. That's a fair question asked by Nate. I'm wondering how much money you saved because you bought the aglet kit, by the way. It was like 20 bucks. Most people just buy a new pair of shoelaces and be done with it. I'm eager to see why I should buy the repair kit next time I. This is a fair question. I have not had time to get to that because it involves. You have to. There's a heating element to it. It's actually.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, it's like shrink wrap.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, it's kind of like a shrink wrap thing.
Christy Lee
Let's.
Josh Arnold
I've fixed a few.
Christy Lee
But then again, 20 bucks on this damn thing.
Tom Griswold
Now, there are. I will admit this. I also. I also have some. Some shoes that. Let me see if I'm wearing. No, these. I have some shoes.
Ace Cosby
Shoes you have on today?
Tom Griswold
Well, no, I have. Some of these shoes have laces that are a specific weird color. Yeah, they come. And I would like to keep them that way.
Josh Arnold
What happened to your kinky boots?
Tom Griswold
Oh, my, my. Nice. I can't. Because I had surgery. I still can't bend over all the way.
Christy Lee
Oh, okay.
Josh Arnold
That makes sense.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I'll be. It'll be over in a couple days.
Jeff Oskay
Has anyone else? I've started getting a lot of ads for shoes that I don't have to bend over to put. And it's starting to hurt.
Christy Lee
Like, your feelings? It's your feelings.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, it's. It's. It's popping up in my YouTube and my Instagram feed.
Tom Griswold
Are you.
Jeff Oskay
Are you sure? You no longer have to bend over. You can just step into them and they pop on your feet.
Tom Griswold
Are you Googling things about weight loss or.
Jeff Oskay
No, it knows I got fat. I don't know how, but it does, and it hurts.
Christy Lee
Remember, when you watch those, they watch you back. They know what you look like.
Tom Griswold
That's really funny. No, I, I, I just can't. I can't. Really. The only thing that's hard to do is to get in and out of cars and bend over. Yeah, but my belly will be all. I've got these three holes in my belly where they went in.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Laparoscopy looks really awful.
Ace Cosby
That's funny. They did that for me when I had polycystic ovaries. They did it for hernia that's kind of.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, they go.
Ace Cosby
I guess there's one interest.
Tom Griswold
There's three holes and there.
Jeff Oskay
And no waiting.
Tom Griswold
And then huge, huge bruises and just right. So. Yeah. But your. Thanks, Pat. My beautiful new boots. I can't tie them right now. I'm hoping to. And also there's no snow zipped up on the side, but they're still pretty to bend over. Yeah.
Christy Lee
I don't know reason to risk it.
Ace Cosby
They look like they tie, but they do zip up.
Josh Arnold
They could be tied up in them.
Jeff Oskay
I never understood that, Chrissy. When I see the ladies with the knee high boots that laced up, I'm like, that had to have taken her four hours to lace up. I didn't realize I had a zipper on the side. I was so fooled.
Ace Cosby
Little secrets.
Tom Griswold
Very, very handy.
Ace Cosby
Very handy.
Tom Griswold
Very handy. Now we had a. Years ago I started doing this. There was a, a television show called the Disco Lifestyle Awards. And no one believed me that this was a true thing.
Ace Cosby
I believed you. I watched it and.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, thank you. But as, as hard as we looked, we couldn't find any evidence of it.
Ace Cosby
Right.
Tom Griswold
And we had done a knockoff on it and it was at the height of the disco era. Right. And they gave the lifetime achievement award to Sammy Davis Jr. It was just the worst show I'd ever seen. And I believe it was a Dick Clark production. They've, they've erased it from memory. Memory.
Ace Cosby
Hosted by Rick Dees, wasn't it?
Tom Griswold
I don't remember who.
Christy Lee
Disco Duck fame.
Tom Griswold
Yes. But we, I kept trying to prove it. Then I finally found a copy. Someone sent me a copy of Jet magazine.
Jeff Oskay
Okay.
Tom Griswold
That had the listing for it. Well, we had a guy that did a lot of homework. His name is Brian. And I want to thank you, Brian. He found this article from the Louisville Courier Journal. The headline is, Sammy Davis should have stopped this film show before it started. And it's about a thing that Sammy Davis did called Sammy Stops the World. It's a sort of a negative review. But the first line is, comedian Sammy Davis Jr. Was on television the other night. He appeared on a program featuring a disco dancing contest and he received the Disco Lifestyle Award. So there we go. Thank you for doing. And this is a cutout of that newspaper from oh so many years ago. So thank you very much for doing the research.
Christy Lee
It sounds to me like there may not have that this was a Disco Lifestyle award just for him, but it was a show about like a disco dancing contest. Did you hear that?
Jeff Oskay
I did, yeah.
Christy Lee
It didn't sound like an award show to me. No, disco the way it's described.
Tom Griswold
Well, I. I'll try to find it.
Christy Lee
And that's in hard print.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
You know what I mean?
Tom Griswold
This is. It was from September of 1979. I've always wanted to get a copy of this.
Christy Lee
So you've been proven wrong.
Tom Griswold
No, no, I've been proven right. That the Disco Lifestyle Awards did in fact air on television.
Christy Lee
That is not what it says.
Tom Griswold
It says Sammy Davis Jr. Was on the television of the night, appearing on a program featuring disco dancing and he received the Disco Lifestyle.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Christy Lee
So he just. A lifestyle award, but it doesn't say that. There were a bunch of them. You see what I'm saying? That's embarrassing.
Tom Griswold
Okay, well, thank you. Thank you, Owen, for doing the research. He had to go to some clipping service to get this to send me. It's really cool. But here's our tribute to the Disco Lifestyle Awards.
Jeff Oskay
Thanks, Brian.
Ace Cosby
Yes.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, no.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Ladies and gentlemen, performing a musical number.
Tom Griswold
Written especially for this evening, the Disco Lifestyle Awards are proud to present Sammy Davis Jr. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you, man.
Jeff Oskay
Thank you.
Tom Griswold
Thank you, man. Here we go. I like to live the disco lifestyle I like to weld and a disco world I want to disco marry you and have a disco disco family and we'll all live in a disco.
Bob Kevoian
I.
Tom Griswold
Love the disco climb lifestyle I love the disco lifestyle all right, let's you know, disco is always. Man, I have lost my eye. Okay. I'd lost my eyes. Sandy famously had a glass eye.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Well, thank you very much, Brian, for going out of your way.
Christy Lee
Wouldn't it be fun? Hopefully that does appear at some point on YouTube.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I've looked for it for quite some time, but I do it now. We have two imprint validations. This actually aired. People didn't believe me. That, of course, is fake. Thank you, Ricky Rydell, for the classic Sammy Davis Jr. Tribute. Now, while I'm at it, reading letters here, we often reference collective names for groups of animals on the show. Yeah. What's the most famous one, do you suppose?
Josh Arnold
A murder of crows.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, right.
Ace Cosby
Murder out of whales.
Tom Griswold
Yes. Yeah. Very, very well known and, you know, not having a girlfriend and all, guys got a lot of downtime to practice martial sword stuff.
Ace Cosby
He wasn't even running in between. Like he could go faster than that.
Tom Griswold
Well, he does have an incredibly sharp custom made sword.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Christy Lee
There must be something involved that we're not aware of that you can't.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, he teamed up with bladesmith Rito Zurich.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
That's how you Say it. Who created the sword? Just for the record attempt.
Tom Griswold
Oh, that's got to be a pretty small world sword making swordsmith.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
But yeah, I saw a video of that guy too, and he looks really scary. And obviously he's created something incredibly sharp. Yes.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Wild.
Tom Griswold
Must be made of some kind of special steel.
Ace Cosby
Sharp things scare me.
Tom Griswold
Probably need to have a.
Christy Lee
Could be a steel special tool.
Jeff Oskay
And for Josh, National Hockey League scores. Thank you. Thank you for having Buffalo, Colorado, Anaheim, Florida, Dallas, all winners over the weekend.
Christy Lee
Who's in the wild card? Thank you.
Jeff Oskay
Exactly.
Ace Cosby
Are the Blues in the wild card?
Christy Lee
No, they're just below.
Ace Cosby
It's early, isn't it? Don't they have time?
Christy Lee
Kind of. Yeah, they have time. Oh, they have plenty of time.
Tom Griswold
Christy, are they still singing that song?
Christy Lee
No, Gloria, I don't. I haven't been to a game in person in a while, but I. I think that's over. I think. Hey, that was. That was.
Ace Cosby
Maybe they should bring it back.
Tom Griswold
No.
Christy Lee
Something new. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
They can't have her come sing it.
Ace Cosby
No, they couldn't then either, sadly.
Josh Arnold
She's young.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
And that's sports.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Thank you very much.
Ace Cosby
Thank you, Jeff. I was like waiting for some music or something.
Jeff Oskay
I don't know how to use some music.
Ace Cosby
Oh, Pupsutawney. Phil saw his shadow Sunday and predicted six more weeks of wintry weather.
Jeff Oskay
The top and four more years of tariffs. That was no out.
Josh Arnold
Next, the capital steps.
Ace Cosby
The top hatted handlers announced to a raucous ruckus. Record sized crowd at Gobbler's Knob in Pennsylvania over the weekend.
Tom Griswold
You've got the word. You've got the word raucous.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
And you've got the word fracas and you've got the word ruckus. Yeah.
Ace Cosby
That's very.
Tom Griswold
You combine them and you get. You get in trouble, you get the fcc.
Ace Cosby
Phil was welcomed with chants of Phil. Phil. And pulled from a hatch on his tree stump shortly after sunrise before a member of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club read from a scroll.
Tom Griswold
Did you see this crowd?
Ace Cosby
They pulled him out. The guy was sleeping. Wanted to take.
Jess Hooker
You know, don't they tailgate there and the whole thing. Oh, yeah, it's a big party.
Tom Griswold
They have a. It's so big now. They bus people. You park and then they bus you in.
Jess Hooker
That's fun.
Tom Griswold
And it's. They interviewed some bar owner. He went through 10 kegs. It's because when it.
Ace Cosby
Tens of thousands of revelers.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. When it happens on a week Weekend.
Jess Hooker
Oh, right.
Tom Griswold
It's just huge.
Jess Hooker
Right.
Tom Griswold
So it's just a gigantic party like anything else.
Ace Cosby
Puxitani. Phil communicated his forecast to Tom Dunkle, president of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club, by pissing through groundhogies.
Christy Lee
Never like that. Dunkle.
Ace Cosby
With the help of a special cane that Mr. Dunkle has inherited as the club's leader.
Tom Griswold
That's why I don't like Duncan supposedly. Supposedly. The cane.
Ace Cosby
You know what?
Tom Griswold
It talks. Oh, this is fascinating stuff. It. The cane, through the cane. It talks to him. This is the kind of stuff you believe in.
Christy Lee
Like a Hogwarts sorting hat.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, kind of. Yeah.
Ace Cosby
So Woodchuck's weather forecast is an annual ritual that goes back more than a century in Western Pennsylvania with far older roots in European folklore. But of course, it took Bill Murray's 1993 film Groundhog Day to transform the event into what is today. With tens of thousands of folks at the scene. When Phil is deemed to have not seen his shadow, that is said to usher in an early spring. When he does see it, there will be six more weeks of winter.
Tom Griswold
Gee, it's February 1st. What a stunner. Or winter.
Ace Cosby
The crowd was treated.
Christy Lee
Everyone a guest. Phil.
Ace Cosby
The crowd was treated to a fireworks show, confetti, and live music that ranged from the Ramones to Pennsylvania polka as they awaited sunrise and Phil's emergence.
Christy Lee
God, when do you like polka at all?
Josh Arnold
Not necessarily. No. I heard a lot of it growing up.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Polish pocus stuff. Lots of it.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
It can be fun.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah. I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and there was a show called Polka Varieties. Wow. And that I made a Sunday morning a bunch of church stuff. And then you'd think, is there any cartoons on, you know, polka Varieties with like Paul Wilcox.
Christy Lee
And that is an ironic name because there's not a ton of variety.
Josh Arnold
I love the accordion, though, in pop music.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
It can be fun.
Tom Griswold
And the guy who was on all the time was Frank Yankovic. And then when Weird Al came out.
Ace Cosby
Ah, is that his daddy?
Christy Lee
It wasn't.
Tom Griswold
No. Just by.
Christy Lee
Isn't it odd?
Tom Griswold
At first I thought maybe Al had taken a stage name, but the elder Mr. Yankovic was famous for on tour, he would stay with fans. I'm completely serious. And. But they. He would. Internationally famous. And the footnote to this story, I was traveling with my father in Eastern Europe. This is a true story.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
You already know part of this. Okay, so we're at this hotel in Eastern Europe and we walk in and there is a Huge sign announcing the band for that evening, and it was Frank Yankovic and the Yanks.
Christy Lee
Did you guys go? Were you able to go?
Tom Griswold
No, we were traveling around. But the. That's the same hotel where I got in the elevator. Remember this story with Woody Allen? Yeah. I'm in an elevator in Europe. In Europe and Woody Allen and his girl. It was a small elevator. Woody Allen and his girlfriend at the time are in this elevator with me and my father's losing his mind. He's. He holds his hand up like this and takes his finger. He's pointing.
Jess Hooker
Oh, that's where you get it.
Tom Griswold
Like secretly, like, you know, I've got him. I'm so embarrassed.
Josh Arnold
Did you say hi?
Tom Griswold
No. God, no.
Christy Lee
Will you hit seven, please? I hate. What's the max cap.
Tom Griswold
Of the way around the world that I have a chance to see Frank Yankovic and you.
Jess Hooker
That's wild.
Christy Lee
Couldn't sleep a wink last night. The accordion sounds.
Ace Cosby
Playing as clarinet doesn't he play clarinet?
Josh Arnold
He does indeed. Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Maybe Woody Allen was playing clarinet with Frank. You could have.
Tom Griswold
That would have been amazing. You know, something that's perfectly possible.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
You've gotten on elevators with lots of good. You had run dmc, right?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
And now I, I. Last time I was in New York, I got on the elevator and Abe Bogota and his wife got on with me.
Ace Cosby
Really?
Jeff Oskay
I was like, oh, my gosh, what are you doing? He goes, I, I, I live here.
Ace Cosby
Oh.
Jeff Oskay
And it was like one of those hotel slash people live there kind of.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
But he was gigantic. And his wife's this tiny little old lady and she looked like she was 130. And he. They couldn't have been nice. Oh, what are you doing in town?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
And three or four more times I ended up on the elevator. Oh, hello, young man. And like, it was awesome.
Tom Griswold
I loved it.
Christy Lee
That is awesome.
Jeff Oskay
He was so nice.
Christy Lee
I didn't know Abe Pagoda was gigantic.
Tom Griswold
I didn't I know he was alive.
Jeff Oskay
No.
Christy Lee
Well, this was a while back.
Tom Griswold
Well, he was one of those folks that he had been declared in the the some. There was some media story that he was dead and he wasn't. Remember this?
Ace Cosby
Alive now.
Tom Griswold
No, no, no. He'd be 100 dead.
Jess Hooker
Dead.
Christy Lee
But he's also one of those guys that looked 80 when he was what, 35.
Jeff Oskay
But his wife honestly looked. Looked 50. He looked old and she looked even. I mean, like. And he was so, like, she was very slow. And he waited and held the elevator. He was such a gentleman.
Ace Cosby
He died in 2016.
Jeff Oskay
It was great.
Jess Hooker
That's a worry of mine to age faster than my partner. And then I look like his mom. Like we're both old. And then I look really old.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah. Hey, shut up.
Jess Hooker
Oh, sorry.
Christy Lee
When Jeffrey Ross. Jeffrey Ross looked at a vigoto and said, what's your blood type? Oh, no. I laughed so, so hard.
Ace Cosby
He was 94. He lived a good life.
Josh Arnold
That's pretty good.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. If you don't. We're talking about the guy.
Ace Cosby
He was on Barney Miller, wasn't he?
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Which I show I still love. And. But he was.
Jess Hooker
But Josh, what would we know him?
Tom Griswold
The Godfather.
Josh Arnold
Godfather, yeah. He gets in the boat.
Tom Griswold
Tessio.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Tom Griswold
The Godfather grandfather.
Christy Lee
He eventually showed up in a Snickers commercial where he gets tackled and. Yeah, yeah, but I don't know, he.
Jess Hooker
Was in something else.
Tom Griswold
They did a spin off. Didn't they do a sitcom called Fish?
Christy Lee
Yes, it was after that Eric Estrada show.
Tom Griswold
What was that?
Christy Lee
Where they were on the motorcycles? That was Chips.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
I think I know. He plays John Travolta's grandpa in look who's Talking.
Christy Lee
Yes, okay. Yes, he does.
Jess Hooker
Thank you.
Tom Griswold
You. Oh, well, it's.
Christy Lee
Oh, that's way better.
Jeff Oskay
Now I know who you're talking about, Tom.
Christy Lee
Did I ever tell you?
Jess Hooker
Better than Barney Miller.
Christy Lee
I went on a date with this girl and. And. And then later we were texting and she goes, yeah, my daughter and I watched look who's Talking. This was only. This was like 10 years ago. I go, oh, yeah? What did. Did you and your daughter like it? She was like, yeah, my daughter liked it. I didn't care for the antiquated gender roles. And I went. In my head, I went, that's the last time.
Tom Griswold
Block.
Christy Lee
You mean you watch the movie about the talking baby and that's what you got from it? You joyless. You're not gonna care for me at all.
Tom Griswold
I thought you were gonna say she smelled like fish when you went down. Never mind.
Ace Cosby
There's a story for you, Josh. A British engineer has created the world's fastest penny farthing.
Christy Lee
Fastest?
Ace Cosby
According to Motorcycle News magazine, Greg Mitchell of Swindon fashioned the super farthing using hundreds of pounds of spare steel and a 20 year old Yamaha R6.
Christy Lee
Now, for those who don't know, the penny farthing is the old timey bicycle with the giant wheel up front and the tiny wheel in the back.
Tom Griswold
And I just always want to know when some brilliant engineer went, you know something? If we got a chain, we could put some gears on this thing, we wouldn't have to have A guy get on a ladder to get in the bike.
Ace Cosby
Its front wheel alone weighs 363 pounds with the vehicle reaching a top speed of 50 miles per hour so far.
Tom Griswold
Do we have a picture of this thing?
Ace Cosby
Mr. Mitchell said the idea for the super farthing.
Tom Griswold
So it.
Ace Cosby
It came to him in a dream and it took him about 750 hours to complete.
Christy Lee
It's amazing.
Ace Cosby
So it's got training wheels, right?
Tom Griswold
Well, that's half to.
Josh Arnold
At that speed.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. It's hard to describe it. The front wheel is obviously gigantic. Probably. What would you say? 5ft in diameter?
Ace Cosby
Probably.
Tom Griswold
And then it's got a small rear wheel. I assume it's rear wheel drive and.
Ace Cosby
Sitting on a motorcycle body.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
So it's funny.
Jeff Oskay
It's the dumbest thing I've ever said.
Ace Cosby
I agree.
Christy Lee
You don't think it's funny. You don't want to see it operate.
Jeff Oskay
I want to see him hit something and go over the front wheel at 55 miles an hour. There's a reason they got rid of that gigantic wheel.
Tom Griswold
Have you ever seen the guy? There's a guy.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
There's a guy that has one right around here. Yeah. Okay. There's also. There's also Unicycle Guy.
Christy Lee
I've only seen Unicycle Guy.
Jeff Oskay
I know Unicycle Guy and that guy's.
Tom Griswold
You know, Unicycle Guy.
Jeff Oskay
Actually, Noah is good friends with Unicycle Guy That.
Jess Hooker
That tracks not to be too inside.
Tom Griswold
That's how I hope he's ready to plan his funeral because I almost hit him when Unicycle Guy came flying out of his.
Christy Lee
He does like the neighborhood that we'll just call Blind Curve Estates. That's usually where I see him.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Ace Cosby
British engineers are also busy at work. You've heard about the Pope Mobile, right?
Tom Griswold
Sure.
Ace Cosby
Well, this is the poop mobile. They're tinkering with a race car prototype that is powered by manure. According to the BBC, the Warwick Manufacturing Group is behind this prototype.
Tom Griswold
Don't you wish it was instead of the Warwick it was something that started with a B. And they'd be the BM Group.
Christy Lee
Yes, I do.
Ace Cosby
Developing uses sustainable materials in the build and sewage treatment technology to power the vehicle.
Tom Griswold
So you don't just go up and crap in the tank.
Ace Cosby
No. The technology involves microbes Tom. Feeding on waste which produce hydrogen as a byproduct. And it's the hydrogen that produces.
Tom Griswold
It's not a fiat. It's a shi.
Christy Lee
No, it's.
Jeff Oskay
It's putting it's putting the BM and BMW.
Josh Arnold
There you go.
Ace Cosby
Engineers believe the car could be out in the mainstream in as little as five years.
Tom Griswold
It's not a pit stop.
Jeff Oskay
I drive a shield. That sounds like a fun car. Yeah, those are cool.
Tom Griswold
So this is one of those things where the byproduct of waste after a lot of treatment. And so Instead of being 4 bucks a gallon, it's 700. We put it through this factory. Okay, I'm.
Christy Lee
Well, maybe in the future.
Tom Griswold
I'm skeptical.
Christy Lee
Wait a minute. Won't everything be electric in the future?
Ace Cosby
They said five years. That's what he's saying. Mainstream in five years.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, but how much does the process take from? And how much poop do you need to get a gallon of?
Ace Cosby
Well, a lot of cows out there, Tommy.
Tom Griswold
Oh, it's not just human poop.
Ace Cosby
It's manure, Tom.
Tom Griswold
Oh, okay. Wow. Well, what happened to your car, Josh? Damn it. I got the corn in the carburetor.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that'll happen with these older models.
Josh Arnold
Used to be sugar in the tank.
Christy Lee
Next morning before they put in a grinder.
Jeff Oskay
Now it's corn on the carburetor.
Tom Griswold
They put in a grinder. For those of you homeowners that have a grinder, I have a grinder.
Jeff Oskay
That's a fine grinder.
Tom Griswold
That's a grinder. Fine, Fine.
Christy Lee
It's something that cost in a septic tank.
Tom Griswold
All I know is to get it moving. I sold a house once, and the house. The inspector came back, and I think there's a problem with the grinder. I had to replace the grinder. The warranty. Classic warranty story. The warranty was three years. The grinder was three years and one day old. That was, I believe, $5,000.
Ace Cosby
God, please.
Tom Griswold
Coming up, we have. What's worth going to prison for that you'd steal? We're gonna find out. We have a cow in a barbershop.
Christy Lee
Oh, I love this joke.
Tom Griswold
Not a bull in a china shop, but somewhat similar because there are people with sharp scissors. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios, and this is the Bob and Tom Show.
Bob Kevoian
Thanks for listening to the Bob and Tom show this morning, even though we're not too much to look at. You can also watch the show on our YouTube channel.
Christy Lee
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom show live from the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Christy Pat, Jess Hooker, Jeff Oskay, Ace, Myself, Josh Arnold. And there's Tom.
Tom Griswold
Thank you very much. Just reading about this race car that will be running on manure.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Again, it's a really complicated byproduct of manure. Yeah, it involves feeding it microbes.
Ace Cosby
And wouldn't hydrogen be dangerous? Isn't that what blew up the blimp?
Tom Griswold
Well, that's why it goes so fast. Because it's exploding inside. Inside that. They'll clearly. They'll have. They'll have some kind of technical stuff. Yeah, but again, you don't have to just, you know, work on your aim so you can get it in the tank.
Christy Lee
And by the way, the Hinderberg did not blow up. Because. Because of hydrogen.
Ace Cosby
Why? Why did it blow up?
Christy Lee
Dei.
Tom Griswold
Too soon.
Ace Cosby
My God.
Tom Griswold
Doing that. Well, welcome to Josh's last day.
Christy Lee
I like to throw grenades.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, that was a good one.
Tom Griswold
That was very nice.
Jess Hooker
Quite the grenade.
Ace Cosby
A suspect is facing felony charges after breaking into an Atlanta area mall to steal. What?
Christy Lee
Who are these people?
Ace Cosby
It's a suspect. One person. He's facing felony charges.
Christy Lee
Do we know the age?
Tom Griswold
He breaks into the mall in Dunwoody, which is suburban Atlanta.
Ace Cosby
Right.
Christy Lee
Okay. To steal a Wes's Fields cooking.
Ace Cosby
They're close.
Tom Griswold
Very good.
Ace Cosby
Cinnabon cinnamon roll.
Tom Griswold
Really?
Christy Lee
See, I just went with what my fat ass.
Ace Cosby
The Dunwoody police department said the person broke into the Perimeter Mall for a midnight snack. The officer wrote, now instead of enjoying a warm, gooey cinnamon roll, you'll face a felony burglary charge. Next time, think about the long term consequences before you give into those late night cravings. The county jail might have food, but trust us, it's no Cinnabon. According to the officer.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, it wasn't open.
Josh Arnold
The Cinnabon. They weren't even making Cinnabons.
Ace Cosby
I know.
Josh Arnold
You turn the whole place on and fly themselves. Go to a grocery store, put a thing of meat in your pocket.
Ace Cosby
You don't think they have leftover cinnabones that they put out in the first thing in the morning?
Josh Arnold
I don't think they have leftover.
Tom Griswold
I'm guessing intoxication of some sort may be involved. All I know is this guy's gonna end up in prison and his buns will be getting glazed. That's not glaze. Spike Chess was upset by that. No, I mean, I've had a Cinnabon. It might be worth going to jail for a while. What was the story? I'd have to dig it up. Remember, we had one. I want to say some guy broke into some fast food place when it was closed at night. And when they arrived, he was act. He turned everything on and was cooking.
Christy Lee
Remember, he serves. It was like A Pizza Hut.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, I was thinking it was Taco Bell.
Christy Lee
You might be right. Okay.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, like turned on the fryer.
Christy Lee
Well, that's what I meant. Because sometimes Taco Bell Bells and pizza.
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah, yeah, they are either way, along with Kentucky.
Tom Griswold
You look dei. Why don't you be for a few minutes? But that does ask the question. Talk about what a great ad campaign that would be for Cinnabon.
Jeff Oskay
Right?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
You have like those have the striped burglar shirts and the masks. Like the really goofy. Those McDonald's commercials where they had the burglars.
Ace Cosby
Hamburglar.
Tom Griswold
You know, the guy breaking in to make him. To get it. To grab a Cinnabon.
Christy Lee
Man. You guys won't believe me, but this is the absolute truth. I Bet it's been 20 years since I've had a Cinnabon. 15. 20 years.
Jeff Oskay
I've never had a Cinnabon.
Ace Cosby
I've never had one.
Christy Lee
I always. They. I know how great they are. I think that's why maybe.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, yeah.
Josh Arnold
It looks too.
Tom Griswold
That's just too bad for you. Yeah, yeah.
Ace Cosby
It's too sugary.
Christy Lee
You just know. Oh, yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, boy, it smells amazing.
Ace Cosby
It does.
Tom Griswold
They're great. You know what else is great?
Ace Cosby
What?
Tom Griswold
Those pretzels. Oh, yeah, those are.
Christy Lee
That's another thing I just don't get.
Tom Griswold
Oh, my God.
Jeff Oskay
I can get those in the freezer section now, Tom. I just got some.
Christy Lee
Wow.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
And they aren't as good, but they still have the right flavor and the right.
Jess Hooker
And you can put one of those little smokies in there. Oh, that way. Yeah. And you have the bite sized pretzel version of Angels on a Cloud or whatever.
Tom Griswold
What are those called? I had. We had some of those this weekend.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Pigs in a Blank.
Tom Griswold
Pigs in a Blank.
Jess Hooker
But you can do those with pretzels, too. I know how much you love.
Tom Griswold
This is a story that only. Only Josh is probably going to get. But there's a gentleman that I know. He's a police officer. He happens to be best friends with your brother.
Jess Hooker
I know him too.
Tom Griswold
Okay. So the short version is I was. I see him all the time. I grab a cup of coffee, whatever for him. But we were having the aforementioned pigs in a blanket and I made him a couple. But I went out there and.
Jeff Oskay
You didn't call them pics?
Tom Griswold
No, I didn't want to say, hey, I've got some pigs.
Christy Lee
Would you like a U?
Tom Griswold
I mean, the man is armed, very armed. So I said, we've got some hot dogs in croissant for you. I Swear to God.
Ace Cosby
Are they in croissants or crescent rolls?
Tom Griswold
I don't, I, at the time, all I could think of, I couldn't think of the name crescent roll, so I said, croissant.
Jess Hooker
All right.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. But he enjoyed them. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
He, he, it's, it's funny. There's a series now within that group of friends of like, hey, guess what Tom said to me today? Oh, yeah, Is what he tells me. I'm sure you're a part of that, too.
Tom Griswold
I got him a nice hoodie.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
You invited him into your house.
Tom Griswold
Sure.
Jess Hooker
What, first time you met?
Christy Lee
Meanwhile, three homes are being robbed. Hot dog in a quatzal.
Tom Griswold
So this is interesting because I, I, I like to ask people to do something for a living when they see a movie about what it is that they do, if it's any good.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Tom Griswold
So I asked him the obvious question, what cop shows are the best on tv, right? And he goes, he goes. His answer was, I can't watch them anymore. And went, how come? And he goes, well, well, years and years ago, this girlfriend of mine said I had to shut up because every scene would, would start and he'd go, fake. They'd never do that. That would never happen. Right. He can't watch them. But I think every time I see a movie about radio.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
It's the same thing. Hey, she'll back me up on this. She go, nope, never. Yeah, that program director can read. That's not possible.
Josh Arnold
What's the closest one to being real? Is there a radio movie?
Ace Cosby
WKRP in Cincinnati. Come on.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, there were actually parts of that that were kind of. But that was arp.
Ace Cosby
Actually fun.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. But just in general, there'll be a scene in a radio station in a, in a movie, and you go, no, that's not how it works. But I was, I've always interested to see would especially for cop shows because there are so many of them. And some of the stuff, real cops just go, no, I'll. I would like to hear the same from, say, a fireman. I remember in the world of the NFL, we've often asked players what movie was the most realistic. And back in the day, North Dallas 40 was always the one that got the vote as being the most accurate. And I was, I was talking to somebody else about the movie. Rudy.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
From someone who was there. They were. Let's just say thank. But, yeah, I didn't want to call them pigs in a blanket in front of my.
Jeff Oskay
Well, that was nice.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, it was nice.
Jeff Oskay
So what'd you call them hot dogs.
Tom Griswold
In a croissant.
Jeff Oskay
In a croissant.
Tom Griswold
But I, but I point. I said, by the way, I would have shot you. I said, by the way, by the way, Kelly made these. So these are like whatever. They are super organic hot dogs where the pigs gave their permission to be slaughtered. You know, that kind of, that kind of thing.
Ace Cosby
And they probably really were in croissants.
Tom Griswold
Instead of, I think, whatever those things are called.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
What, what are the biscuits? Things that are packed in the crescent rolls. Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Or biscuits.
Tom Griswold
That's. That is one of my favorite things to do in a game. You whack that.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
And you get that, that muffin top.
Josh Arnold
That, that cushion that cushions the hit.
Tom Griswold
From your wear too tight shorts.
Josh Arnold
It's like an airbag.
Christy Lee
Boom.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Sorry. In any event, certainly worth up committing a felony to get an anti. Ann's just saying. They are. They are very, very good. What's coming up, Christy Lee coming up.
Ace Cosby
Blow up doll in the front seat of a car. Stripper's been busted at a 7 11. And a lot of animal news. We have sharks and cats and donkeys and camels. Oh, my.
Tom Griswold
All right, looking forward to all those stories. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. And this is the Bob and Tom Show.
Bob Kevoian
This is the Bob and Tom show. Text us at 888-26-2866. One more Bob and Tom next.
Christy Lee
Bucks.
Tom Griswold
An hour at stake.
Christy Lee
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. We're live from the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. There's Christy Lee sitting over there at the hello, Josh. Silent Lack Insurance company newsdeck. No, no. Happy to see you. There's Pat Godwin.
Tom Griswold
Hey. Sipping coffee.
Josh Arnold
I'm loving a little Starbucks this morning.
Christy Lee
How about that? Jeff Oskay is sitting in for the chickster today. There's Jess Hooker.
Jess Hooker
Hi.
Christy Lee
Ace Cosby across the way.
Tom Griswold
Hey.
Christy Lee
And just a handsome man.
Tom Griswold
Thank you.
Christy Lee
Thank you. Is Tom Griswold and I am Josh Arnold at theihatestevensinger.com SA Sidekick Chair.
Tom Griswold
That's nice. Did you ever think you'd grow up to be a sidekick?
Christy Lee
You know, I, I didn't. But I like. I like it, so. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
You like being a side.
Christy Lee
I do.
Tom Griswold
The lack of responsibility.
Christy Lee
That's exactly right. I have always enjoyed being low on. On any totem pole.
Josh Arnold
I couldn't take the pressure you're under.
Christy Lee
You're this show's Wesley Crusher.
Ace Cosby
Who's that?
Tom Griswold
Help me.
Jess Hooker
I don't know.
Christy Lee
He's a character from Star Trek the Next Generation. But I think he's also like, isn't he? He gets referenced on Big Bang Theory.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Isn't he sort of. Don't, don't Star Trek fans make fun of him a lot for being whiny or annoying or something? That's what I mean.
Tom Griswold
In other words. In other words, good call, Ace. Someday we should hire someone to just pick up all the references on this program. And I mean that. We've been all over the map today.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
We've had Woody Allen in Eastern Europe, Frank Yankovic, Albin Barkley, Barney Miller, Abe Pagoda, Curly Neil, Meadow, Lark Lemon. Who was the guy you just mentioned?
Christy Lee
Wesley Crusher.
Tom Griswold
Wesley Crusher.
Christy Lee
It's one of his favorite shows.
Tom Griswold
Is that the actor or the character?
Christy Lee
Character. Character. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Who's the actor?
Christy Lee
Oh, shoot. Wil Wheaton.
Tom Griswold
Oh, oh, yeah, he. Yeah, I know who now. I know because he would, he would show up a lot of times on Big Bang Theory.
Christy Lee
Yes, very funny.
Tom Griswold
That was a really great running, running gag of sorts on that show. Well, welcome Back to the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom program. And by program, I mean it makes it sound like we're organized. We're not. We're going to head over that way. But before we do, I want to remind everybody, this show will come to you on the airwaves the morning of Friday, February 21st from the Riverside Casino and Resort. And by the way, that evening we'll have a special live comedy show. I'll be your host. The guests will include Pat Godwin, the man and the guitar, Josh Arnold, Al Jackson and Jeff Oskay. Details at Riverside Casino and Resort dot com. Thank you to our affiliates there. And that would include 100.7 the fox in cedar Rapids. And we are going to have a very special T shirt shirt. It's a little charity thing we put together. It's going to benefit the Stead family Children's Hospital. Really excited about it. It's a cool looking shirt.
Christy Lee
Wonderful.
Tom Griswold
And so we'll be having those on premise, you can buy one. We're going to donate the money to the hospital. So that'll be extra fun.
Ace Cosby
What's it look like?
Tom Griswold
And then if you're too cheap to buy the shirt and give money to charity, we'll give you a free poster.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, but we'll mock you. Okay.
Jess Hooker
What about you, gang? A free poster with the purchase of a T shirt.
Tom Griswold
No, we're gonna, we're gonna have posters too. People have to put something.
Christy Lee
Yeah, they're fun to People need to.
Tom Griswold
Put something in their garage, bathroom, man cave, somewhere where she can't see it. You know what I'm talking about? The ladies would include Christy Lee. I can see her, she's right there. What have you got?
Ace Cosby
Police in Florida arrested a woman over an alleged assault with a banana at a 7 11. The 22 year old woman got into a verbal altercation with a 30 year old female worker at a store in Clearwater Water. At one point the suspect became irate, picked up a banana from the cashier's counter, threw the banana at the victim's face like that. The fruit struck the victim on the cheekbone and left a minor abrasion. By the way, the 22 year old arrested on a battery charge works at Baby Dolls, a Clearwater strip club located four miles from the terminal.
Christy Lee
I don't like that name for a strip club. Yeah, good. You want to go to Baby Dolls? No, I'd rather go to hot women.
Jeff Oskay
No, I'd rather go eat a piece of fruit. Fruit from 7 11. Like that's who is buying this fruit.
Christy Lee
Sometimes it's a nice alternative to the candy bars.
Tom Griswold
I think Jeff's right. You know, at 7:11 for every banana they sell, they sell 10,000 KitKat bars.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, she's really rough looking.
Christy Lee
Well, the, the thrower or the throwee?
Tom Griswold
The thrower.
Jess Hooker
All right. And that's the stripper?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I.
Christy Lee
You have a picture of her right now?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, heavily tats, including a facial tattoo.
Jeff Oskay
I like that.
Tom Griswold
You do?
Jeff Oskay
Oh yeah.
Tom Griswold
I mean that says to me I make a lot of bad decisions.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
That means I have a chance.
Tom Griswold
Well, I would say a chance of syphilis, gonorrhea, winning a Grammy. Crabs.
Josh Arnold
Jelly roll and post Malone.
Christy Lee
Right?
Ace Cosby
Yeah, both of them.
Tom Griswold
Well, you know, when you're on a private jet, I guess you can have a facial tattoo. You're not going to be looking for a job later on in life.
Ace Cosby
No.
Tom Griswold
They do realize those don't go away.
Christy Lee
But don't those guys seem like, and I don't know a ton about them, like nice guys, very humble and they.
Tom Griswold
Both have great songs out right now.
Christy Lee
Oh cool. Yeah, but isn't it funny that the most tatted severe looking dudes are like, they seem like sweethearts. I don't really know know.
Tom Griswold
I know one guy that has a bunch of. And he's a great guy. I just, I don't know. I guess it's the mother in me. My, my mother was very anti. Tattoo.
Jeff Oskay
Don't get a face tattoo or you'll end up having a commercial with Peyton Manning.
Josh Arnold
One day you'll be a millionaire. Don't tattoo your face.
Christy Lee
But that is kind of a problem, isn't it? Like, a lot of kids are getting them. Absolutely. I mean, who shouldn't be? Because they're not.
Tom Griswold
I'm an. Extend your analogy. The facial tattoo is the banana of the 7 11.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Yes. For every banana they sell, they sell 10,000 Kit Kat bars. For every guy with facial tattoos, there's 10,000 in prison. Yeah. So? Yeah, she's really rough looking. Why would you throw.
Jeff Oskay
Was she rough, Josh?
Christy Lee
She looks tough. She looks like a she. Yeah, like she could hold her own.
Jeff Oskay
Like she threw a banana.
Christy Lee
If she's stripping for you and you. You. You went to reach for some money of hers on the stage, you're getting your ass kicked.
Tom Griswold
Do you find her even slightly erotic?
Christy Lee
I thought her. I think she has a pretty face. I do. But she also looks like she's tough.
Tom Griswold
Oh, man, I don't know.
Christy Lee
I mean, I only caught a quick glimpse, but there was something.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, I guess we all have to.
Christy Lee
See that she's wearing.
Tom Griswold
She's wearing the prison orange. Well, that's my guess is. My guess is she probably has one there on a rack fitted. Just guessing. I wonder what her stripper name is. I don't know, because they all have.
Ace Cosby
Not in there.
Christy Lee
It's not Ivory.
Ace Cosby
Oh, all right. All right. Now, by the way, those of you.
Tom Griswold
Keeping score, it's Josh 2. The rest of us, nothing.
Christy Lee
Oh, now, wait a minute. We're talking about two different things.
Tom Griswold
Things.
Christy Lee
What? What. What are you guys. So is she big?
Ace Cosby
No, no.
Christy Lee
I saw her.
Tom Griswold
But you think she's attractive? Yeah. Okay. She just looks so rough.
Christy Lee
Let me. Can I see her picture again?
Jess Hooker
Just got arrested.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
That's a rough place to be in prison.
Christy Lee
No, you guys are. I think she has a pretty face.
Ace Cosby
I think she's pretty.
Tom Griswold
She's a stripper, though. You're not gonna see her. You're not gonna see her. Your face.
Christy Lee
Yes, you are.
Ace Cosby
You are. The hell are you doing over there? God.
Tom Griswold
Well, I'm gonna see her. I need my cop friend with me. Okay.
Christy Lee
Frightened. Frightened man.
Tom Griswold
Let's see now, where were we? Oh, wouldn't you. I guess my other point would be if you're into 711 and you're arguing with someone, you want to throw something at him. Wouldn't you go for, like, the Chef Boyardee ravioli?
Ace Cosby
No, that would really hurt.
Tom Griswold
Isn't that the object of the.
Jess Hooker
No, that's not. That's not up by the cash. Cash register. They've got the fruit up by the cash.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Right there. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Is it ripe? I would think it'd be brown.
Jess Hooker
Usually it's wrapped in plastic. I know that sounds.
Tom Griswold
A banana.
Jess Hooker
A banana. They are. They're wrapped in plastic. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Really? Yeah.
Jess Hooker
I don't know why, but they are.
Tom Griswold
Doesn't. Does that make the banana go brown faster?
Jess Hooker
I don't know. I know if you wrap the top, it makes it stay fresh longer.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Yeah. I. Again, I would love to see the numbers on numbers of bananas sold at 7:11.
Christy Lee
You know what? Somebody's buying them.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, they are, because they're still there.
Christy Lee
I'm guessing you haven't been in the 711 in decades.
Ace Cosby
No, he hasn't.
Tom Griswold
I. I don't.
Christy Lee
Have you ever been.
Ace Cosby
Have you ever been in.
Tom Griswold
Yes, I used to. The restaurant where I worked, we were next door to a 7 11.
Ace Cosby
You've had a slushy before, right?
Tom Griswold
And I remember. I remember going in there one day and there was this lady, she had a. A cart. A cart at a 7:11. Yeah, this is totally true. And was buying her groceries there.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Which of course are, you know, obviously a little more expensive because it's. And she paid with, you know, whatever.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Ebt.
Jeff Oskay
She brought that cart with her. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Oh, you think?
Christy Lee
I don't know. Because I don't know that Seven Eleven has cards.
Josh Arnold
They don't have cards. You had to bring her.
Tom Griswold
This was in Florida. It was in maybe Fern Park, Florida. 7 11. Right by the High Life around town. And she paid with whatever food stamps.
Christy Lee
I love 7 11. We used to ride our bikes there.
Ace Cosby
Get our baseball cards, slushies, Slurpees at 7:11.
Christy Lee
Please show the proper respect.
Ace Cosby
Okay.
Jess Hooker
We had Village Pantry. That's what we always went to my grandparents. I didn't go to 711 unless I was out of state.
Christy Lee
Ah, gotcha. I'm a fan of Village Pantry.
Tom Griswold
711 National.
Ace Cosby
Yes, it is.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Very, very.
Christy Lee
It was like the biggest.
Jess Hooker
I feel like I only go when I'm in Florida, to be honest.
Ace Cosby
I'm in California.
Christy Lee
I think it's probably changed. But they. They used to be it everywhere, all over the country.
Tom Griswold
Now is there a sign saying please don't throw the bananas?
Christy Lee
I bet there is now with that one.
Tom Griswold
Okay. There should be. Okay, thank you very much. Right now I want to talk about what about the calendar.

Tom Griswold
Oh, my favorite stories about the fake Lloyd.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, we have that.
Tom Griswold
We'll find out what that's all about. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. And this is the Bob and Tom Show.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, that'd be a nice gift.
Christy Lee
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom show live from the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios.
Tom Griswold
Lord, I'm up.
Christy Lee
I'm glad to hear it. Christy Lee, Jeff Oskay, Ace Cosby, I'm Josh Arnold. And my gosh, we're also, I, we have in the room one of my, and I mean this all time favorite comedy duos, Todd Godwin and Jess Hooker. When you two, she is something else.
Josh Arnold
Just a little spark plug.
Jess Hooker
My favorite.
Christy Lee
I know.
Jess Hooker
And we, we talked over the weekend. We called. We were both in the car. We had a good girl chat.
Josh Arnold
Yes, we always do. On the weekends. We catch up.
Jess Hooker
Yes, yes, we do.
Josh Arnold
You know about our job.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Christy Lee
The bickering and the love.
Jeff Oskay
Love.
Jess Hooker
I do. I love him so, so much.
Christy Lee
But you guys, also you. She annoys you a lot.
Jess Hooker
He does annoy me a lot. And somehow I let him get away. It doesn't bother me.
Josh Arnold
I. I try to help her. I say just the forks are at the grocery store. Go get the forks.
Christy Lee
If you get a chance just to sit back and watch those two, I say do it.
Tom Griswold
Oh, that's fun. Yeah. Patty G. Had a big weekend in Mansfield, Ohio. I understand you had a sold out show.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, they were great. A lot of fun. Thanks for doing that.
Tom Griswold
Now your next big gig is this Saturday.
Josh Arnold
Saturday. Yeah. And dry r. Dry bar comedy. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Are you flying there?
Pat Godwin
No, I'm going to walk it.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Well, no, I mean you're the, you're the, the new Tim Wilson. You'll drive anywhere, right?
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Provo. Provo is kind of a long haul. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
I'm not a big fan of flying, but I, I'll be flying on Friday.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
You know what you're wearing? Wearing?
Josh Arnold
I have to pick three outfits and bring them. I'm wearing these black jeans, my boots that I have on now, and three shirts.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Josh Arnold
Take three shirts with me now.
Tom Griswold
You're gonna wear three shirts. Can make you look a little chubby.
Josh Arnold
I'm already a little chubby. I gained all this weight for a movie. I want to watch from the act.
Christy Lee
I love it. You're not, you're not putting out this, by the way.
Tom Griswold
Now you're, you're filming your special. It'll be for the dry bar. It's a dry bar comedy special. Special. And playing some music. Are you?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, it's these organic setups that goes into the, goes into the songs.
Tom Griswold
You know, you're gonna do great.
Ace Cosby
Play us a song.
Josh Arnold
Play us a song.
Tom Griswold
That was my way of saying, now that you've got your brand new guitar. Now for the guitar players out there, this is a fancy guitar made famous by a good friend of the show, Tommy Emanuel. If you're not familiar with Tommy's work, the guy is like the greatest guitar player. Player.
Josh Arnold
It's the EGB 808 artist. Sitka Spruce, Blackwood.
Tom Griswold
Now, are these. Are these made in Nashville?
Josh Arnold
Australia.
Tom Griswold
Australia, yeah. And they're beautiful. It's got a special pickup, so it should sound good.
Josh Arnold
It should.
Tom Griswold
And you. And when you bought it, they tuned it for you.
Josh Arnold
They didn't. You know, since then, it's just I gotta take it back.
Ace Cosby
To Nashville every time I need.
Josh Arnold
I pack every Friday. I'm tuned it. The guy go, what are you doing back? You gotta tune it.
Christy Lee
You know. We're gonna take this back.
Tom Griswold
Now, what is our topic for this particular?
Josh Arnold
Well, you were talking about going to the dog shows and the beautiful fancy dogs. There's a flip side to that. Oh, we all love. We love all dogs here. This is called Dog Pound Blues. Well, got off my leash and I'm running around the hood Barking at your window baby up to no good well, I'm sniffing at your back dog messing up your lawn Slipped out of my collar no one knows that I'm gone They caught me on the corner that's what dog catchers do I got those dog pound blues oh, you know I ain't no corgi I'm not a poodle or a pug Not a sharp pet puppy with a cute wrinkly mug I'm part collie and part shepherd Little bit of diss and dat I'm a notorious dog where my bichons at? They won't let me out All I do is snooze I got those dog pound blues One time for me Spike.
Christy Lee
I'll tell it Spike, tell it.
Josh Arnold
I'm sitting in this cage lone and feeling blue Here comes a nice couple who want you take my home with you well, my owner called me Spot Here they call me Spike get me out of this place and you can call me anything you like. Oh, they're gonna snip my junk off in about a week or two I got those dog pound blues Rescue me and hold me in your arms Rescue me. You got a nice back you yard Rescue me and I won't be so blue and in a couple of days you'll say who rescued who?
Christy Lee
Oh, make me cry Spike. Make Me cry.
Tom Griswold
Thank you very much, Patty G Song. And once again, Pat will be in Provo, Utah, coming up this Saturday night for the dry bar comedy special. You'll be filmed. They're filming two shows.
Josh Arnold
Two shows? Yeah. Two chances.
Tom Griswold
Two the same night. Two shows. Shows.
Christy Lee
Yep.
Josh Arnold
Same night. One night. One night only.
Tom Griswold
Two shows.
Christy Lee
Jess, did you know I tried to open up a cheese factory in that town?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
How'd it go?
Christy Lee
The bank wouldn't give me any money for it. I couldn't get a Provo loan. What are your thoughts on that?
Jess Hooker
I'm speechless. I'm laughless.
Tom Griswold
I. I thought.
Christy Lee
I'm laughing.
Tom Griswold
I mean. I mean, how many?
Josh Arnold
And I was a Swiss bank.
Jess Hooker
Think.
Ace Cosby
What are the odds?
Tom Griswold
Oh, that was very. Well, thank you, Pat. That's fun. This should be a great show.
Ace Cosby
Playing that during the dry bars.
Josh Arnold
No, no. Why should I?
Ace Cosby
It's cute.
Josh Arnold
I'm putting together my list now.
Ace Cosby
I like that. It's a cute song.
Tom Griswold
Would that be clean enough?
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Oh, me. Oh, you know what? Where my B. Sean's at? Nope.
Christy Lee
And sniffing your junk.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yep.
Tom Griswold
Wow.
Christy Lee
And the part about humping legs. Oh, yeah. You gotta take that out.
Tom Griswold
Well, I guess it's just an instrumental.
Josh Arnold
I look through all my material, all the songs. I go, well, can't do that one. I look at the next one. There's always one line.
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah. Well, you can alter it.
Josh Arnold
I've rewritten a lot of stuff.
Jeff Oskay
I do. Orange barrels.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
That one's pretty clean.
Ace Cosby
I like that.
Josh Arnold
Toast is very clean.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
The way I do it.
Jeff Oskay
I gotta hear this now.
Josh Arnold
Called Stuff in the English Muffin.
Tom Griswold
By the way, earlier in the show we were talking about obscure appearances on what were then network television shows by real bands, etc. Etc. And real groups. For example, I mentioned that Lowell George from Little Feet, they were. They were on F Troop, which is an obscure show in an obscure band. Yes. Got this. Trent was kind enough to write the Mosquitoes were the band on Gilligan's Island.
Ace Cosby
That's right.
Tom Griswold
Were they? But they weren't like a real band.
Ace Cosby
They were a made up band.
Tom Griswold
But because didn't the Doobie Brothers. The real Doobie Brothers appeared on what's.
Josh Arnold
Happening, what's Happening Boys and Hard on Bewitched.
Tom Griswold
Really?
Ace Cosby
Yeah, I remember that.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. That was a great episode, actually.
Tom Griswold
Oh, wow. I wonder if, though. Here's something. If you have a. Looking for something to do during the super bowl other than watch the game.
Christy Lee
That's an odd. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Ace Cosby
Most people are watching the game, but Go right ahead.
Tom Griswold
I'll. What time does it start?
Ace Cosby
You know, nine. Didn't they push it up at half hour?
Jess Hooker
9:30.
Ace Cosby
No, the actual game.
Tom Griswold
6:30. Yeah, 6:30.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Yeah. I may miss part of it. My. I've got a soccer game I have to go see with my daughter, but she's in it. That's the only reason I'm.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that's the.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that would be the only reason I would sit through a soccer game. Count how many times classic rock songs are income or commercials.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Christy Lee
No, no, no, no, no. Don't act excited about that chore.
Jess Hooker
No, I'm. But I'm like him. I need something else to do. I don't enjoy just watching.
Tom Griswold
I'm just saying, we make all these obscure references, but this stuff ends up showing up all the time.
Jess Hooker
Oh, yeah. So did you guys see the Hellman's commercial?
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yes, I saw it.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, it's.
Tom Griswold
I thought it was great.
Jess Hooker
I thought it was really good, too.
Tom Griswold
It's a knockoff of a famous scene from When Harry Met Sally.
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Let me tell you. Did you notice that Billy Crystal's toupee seems to be breathing?
Jess Hooker
Oh, I didn't think he had a toupee.
Pat Godwin
Oh, it's a bad one, is it?
Jess Hooker
I don't. I don't ever notice they took it.
Tom Griswold
Off the Three Stooges. Mo. Howard's corpse.
Jess Hooker
Oh, no, I. I love the whole thing. I didn't pay attention to that. Yeah, I loved the commercial.
Tom Griswold
Could have been neon. I would have, but. But it's a good commercial.
Jess Hooker
It is.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Sorry. Huh?
Ace Cosby
Are you done ranting?
Tom Griswold
No, I was going to a. I just thought of a joke, but we've already had two horrific references in the swarm from Josh. I'm not going to be responsible for making the third one. Okay.
Jess Hooker
Yes, you will.
Tom Griswold
You know what it would be, don't you? No. Never mind.
Ace Cosby
A Kenyan man is being accused of practicing law without the proper qualifications. According to the BBC, the legal officials are calling on police to arrest the man practicing under the name Brian Mwenda, who they say stole the identity of a real lawyer. According to local media, the fake lawyer has won 26 cases, though he's never been trained.
Tom Griswold
This is the best part of this.
Ace Cosby
Despite condemnation by the Law Society of Kenya and the country's Director of Public Prosecutions, the alleged imposter has garnered several supporters. But he still faces prosecution.
Tom Griswold
Pat, if you did this guy for your divorce, you'd be sitting on 40 guitars. Still, that can't.
Christy Lee
Kenyan fake lawyer Has a pretty good track record. Andy has a pretty good track record.
Tom Griswold
I never had one lesson.
Christy Lee
That would be a. I think you need a lesson.
Tom Griswold
I don't understand something about contemporary culture. Accents are now illegal.
Josh Arnold
People.
Tom Griswold
People have them.
Josh Arnold
You can do Irish, you can do English. That's about it.
Tom Griswold
No, that's not. That's not fair.
Jeff Oskay
You can do French. Right?
Ace Cosby
That's not fair.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, I think so.
Tom Griswold
O.
Jeff Oskay
I'll do that all day.
Tom Griswold
Oh, Fifi.
Ace Cosby
Residents in a British town discovered a crashed car abandoned on the side of the road with a blow up sex doll in the front seat. The car and the blow up doll were left behind in a ditch. In Swindon. The black car had left the road and ended up in a ditch full of reeds and other shrubs after hitting a yellow bordered sign with black and white arrows which indicate indicates there's a sharp bend ahead.
Tom Griswold
I saw the picture. This car is messed up and it's down on a thing. But there is the. Obviously the blow up sex doll.
Ace Cosby
There you go. Oh, there she is. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Hilarious.
Tom Griswold
By the way. They did not need the jaws of life to extract her. They just had a pin. You have to wonder. This guy, this guy, this guy pulled a Ted Kennedy left. His left his girlfriend at the scene of the accident. Oh, sorry. It's only the truth.
Jeff Oskay
Look at the sign that it missed the cur. Like the sign. I know it's bigger than the car telling it to turn.
Tom Griswold
I'm guessing there was probably once again an intoxication factor.
Jeff Oskay
Maybe a little road beach.
Ace Cosby
Buy a blowup doll.
Josh Arnold
Hoh.
Jeff Oskay
She's ready to go.
Jess Hooker
She has orifices.
Tom Griswold
Wow.
Jess Hooker
I wonder if she was in there for the carpool lane so he could drive in the right.
Tom Griswold
No, it looks like it's in the middle of nowhere. I don't think you have to be in a carpool lane and whatever it is.
Ace Cosby
Switten switching Swindon. A Connecticut man has been arrested not for that, but for speeding. And he told officers he needed to get home to see his cat.
Christy Lee
Oh.
Ace Cosby
According to state police, troopers clocked the driver going 130mph on i395 in Norwich, Connecticut, after troopers initiated a traffic stop. The driver told them that he wanted to get home to see his cat. Authorities noted the man appeared to be under the influence and later failed a field sobriety.
Tom Griswold
130.
Ace Cosby
What if he said cat? I wonder if he said, yeah, I.
Jeff Oskay
Spent for that before.
Josh Arnold
Oh yeah.
Tom Griswold
Nothing said dog. I said pull.
Ace Cosby
Empathize really.
Tom Griswold
But cat, what do you want to get home so Your cat can ignore you when you get there.
Jess Hooker
130 miles an hour. That's fast. Yeah, that's past reckless driving.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, 130.
Ace Cosby
What's he driving? Is what I want to know.
Tom Griswold
Plus intoxicated. Oh, that's to go back to an earlier story. That's not glaze on your ass. That's your. That's your roommate Spike.
Christy Lee
You want a speed with when you're driving drunk. That way you don't get caught.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, you get home faster.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I gotta get home.
Tom Griswold
I'm hammered. It's like. It's like the physics of running through the rain. You know, if I run through the rain, do I get just as wet? So if I speed but while drunk, there's a shorter on the road for a shorter. There's a shorter time span. This is a physics problem. Okay, well, thank you very much. Thank you, Christy. Why don't we check in with Josh because there's a big week coming up in sports, and I know Prize Picks has some interesting action going on. Sure, sure.

Ace Cosby
Very good.
Tom Griswold
Tom. Tom, everybody. Tom, did you. Do you know what a transcendent baseball card is?
Ace Cosby
No, what is it?
Tom Griswold
Have you heard about these?
Jess Hooker
No.
Ace Cosby
Transcendent.
Tom Griswold
I am in the dark on this topic.
Ace Cosby
Doesn't that mean it's timeless? It like, transcends anything.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, but the story. I'm really confused. This is a press release from the tops, people. Obviously. Baseball cards, right? Would you want a baseball card with Robert Oppenheimer Odd or David Bowie? Huh? This is super confusing. I'm going to try to sort this out when we come back and maybe you can help me with this. And I don't know if you. If these come with like a regular baseball cards and inside you might have a David Bowie or if you can buy these.
Ace Cosby
Fan. You don't want a Robert Oppenheimer, do you?
Josh Arnold
No.
Ace Cosby
I mean, come on.
Jess Hooker
Do they come in the same pack?
Christy Lee
I'm a fan of both.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, well, you're the nerd.
Tom Griswold
I mean, do you want. Never mind. Vic Davalio and I, I don't know, we're gonna.
Ace Cosby
It's just very bizarre.
Tom Griswold
I've got to get to the bottom of this, which I will do shortly, by the way. We're going to be doing our special show in Iowa coming up at the Riverside Casino and Resort Event Center. Details at Riverside Casino and resort dot com. There will be T shirts, there will be posters, and we will try to have some fun. Josh may or may not still be with us and we won't, won't ask him to read anything.
Christy Lee
Yeah, please never do that.
Tom Griswold
These are the O'Reilly Auto Part Studios and this is the Bob and Tom Show.

Tom Griswold
All winners time.
Christy Lee
Hey, it's the Bob and Tom show live from the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Pat Godwin killing it this morning and he's gonna kill it Saturday at his live show in Provo, Utah. Filming his dry bar special.
Josh Arnold
Making me nervous.
Christy Lee
Oh, no, no. You got this, man. You got this. Doesn't he, Christy?
Ace Cosby
Yeah, he does.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Christy Lee
Hooker, would you say yes?
Jess Hooker
100 Oscar.
Ace Cosby
Give him some Great.
Jeff Oskay
You got this, buddy.
Josh Arnold
Thank you.
Christy Lee
Cosby, your thoughts? He'll be okay.
Josh Arnold
I'm with Ace.
Christy Lee
I'm Josh. There's Tom.
Tom Griswold
You're writing him a couple jokes, are you?
Christy Lee
We talked about it, okay?
Ace Cosby
You got to go in with a positive attitude.
Josh Arnold
I never. I never do it. It works out fine.
Ace Cosby
Really?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Very negative.
Tom Griswold
It'll be cool. How long after you film it will it be floating around in the ether?
Josh Arnold
I think they take their time with the release. They do a real good job of the editing. They're gonna have to add the laughter with my special. That takes a while.
Tom Griswold
I see. I see. Let's see now. I guess we should move back over to Christy Lee at the news desk while I try to figure this thing out over here.
Ace Cosby
So you're not gonna pay attention?
Tom Griswold
I know. I'll. I'll focus to a degree.
Christy Lee
What are you trying to figure out?
Ace Cosby
At least you're upfront about it this time.
Tom Griswold
I had this news story and I just couldn't figure this out. And maybe someone out there understands this. These trend. They're called transcendent baseball packets. Some of these are $12,000.
Christy Lee
Wow.
Tom Griswold
I mean, that's nuts. Here, I'll read you this one. I remember I mentioned it earlier that they have not just baseball players, but like famous scientists, people in history.
Ace Cosby
Oppenheimer.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
So they transcend beyond sports.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. That must be.
Josh Arnold
Maybe there's a Bowie in there.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. David. Bo. It's just seems so odd, I guess, that. And some of them are actually signed by the real players. There's a Derek Jeter one in this packet here. I mean, they're thousands and thousands of dollars.
Christy Lee
Sure.
Ace Cosby
Can you just buy them or is it. Are they up for auction or.
Tom Griswold
No, that you can. You have to. There's a pre registration thing and I guess obviously they're. They're collectible.
Christy Lee
Been hitting the mic a lot.
Tom Griswold
Oh, sorry.
Ace Cosby
Oh, he doesn't hear that. I'm sure.
Tom Griswold
I'm sorry. Yeah, I'm.
Christy Lee
Second time in 30 seconds. I know you're not hearing it, but you can't feel it on your nose.
Josh Arnold
You got a little blood right here.
Tom Griswold
By the way, that thing on my face, that's. That's called. You know something, I'm going to shave in the shower without a mirror this morning. Oh, that always works. Oh, so I'll be. Barely shaved a zit off. I'm not sure. Okay, this says. This says this year's line of Topps transcendent baseball cards includes the chance to pull cut signatures from Some of history's most important figures. Okay, John Hancock, Charles Darwin.
Ace Cosby
How'd they get John Hancock to sign a baseball card? Come on, that's got to be fake.
Tom Griswold
Well, I know where they got a sample.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I assume cut signatures means they're somehow etched in there with electronic.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, but they're not real, so.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, no kidding. I mean, I did. I don't think Robert Oppenheimer ever signed his All Star game card.
Ace Cosby
No.
Tom Griswold
Marilyn Monroe, David Bowie. Each box contains 42 cards and retails for $5,999.
Ace Cosby
That's ridiculous.
Jeff Oskay
Do they have stats on the back like Oppenheimer has? How many people he signs it kind of funny.
Tom Griswold
Obvious. These make whole pot look like a big pussy.
Christy Lee
He had some numbers.
Tom Griswold
Wow, that's. I don't understand how this works. I don't understand. Do you get the baseball cards with the possibility of getting an Oppenheimer?
Christy Lee
A lot of questions.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, why don't you research that after the show? Go back with us.
Tom Griswold
I was hoping for a picture from the Dodgers. Not. Not the father of the atomic bomb. Do you get the gum?
Jess Hooker
I don't know if they do gum anymore. Do they?
Tom Griswold
Hey, for. Josh would know. Six thousand bucks.
Christy Lee
I haven't bought a pack of baseball cards in a while, but, yeah, I bet there's still a stick of gum.
Ace Cosby
And I would hope.
Tom Griswold
Do you remember this? This is kind of off track, but we were talking with Jeff Foxworthy and we had him on video and remember what was behind him?
Jeff Oskay
Baseball.
Tom Griswold
He has baseball signed by everybody. Presidents, everybody he meets. Just this amazing collection. So I'll try to find out more about these baseball cards. I never heard of these. Some of these are online for 12.
Ace Cosby
Any signed pictures in your office?
Christy Lee
Probably. I bet you have an autograph of yourself.
Ace Cosby
My biggest fan.
Tom Griswold
I don't think I do.
Ace Cosby
Well, you always ask my guests that.
Josh Arnold
Have you ever asked for an autograph?
Tom Griswold
Usually for other people, but.
Josh Arnold
No, but I mean, have you?
Tom Griswold
When I was a little kid, I used to have Jim Brown, the great football player. Vic Davilio, the Venezuelan baseball player, somewhat lesser known. I'm big and I actually have a. I do have a. Now that I think about it, someone sent me an autographed Vic Davalio baseball card that isn't. That is in my office. Well, okay.
Christy Lee
Should I throw this away or mail it to Tom?
Tom Griswold
He was a hero when I was a kid. Now, Josh, do you have anything, Any signed stuff?
Christy Lee
I do, yeah. Quite. Quite a bit.
Tom Griswold
What do you have?
Christy Lee
Well, you guys know I have a prized Benny Hill signature.
Ace Cosby
Elvira.
Christy Lee
Yes, I have Elvira.
Tom Griswold
I was with you when you waited in line with.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, you were.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Boy, I have a lot of signed books.
Jess Hooker
You were a fan of the show before you worked here. Did you have Tom's autograph before you worked here?
Christy Lee
I had Bob's. So I saw the show live at. In St. Louis at a place called Mississippi Knights.
Tom Griswold
Great, great.
Christy Lee
And the back in 98. So this was in 1998. After the show, I bought that and I bought. And then I saw Tom. I saw you sort of running around and I could never actually pin you down, but Bob was just sitting on the stage.
Tom Griswold
I was trying to avoid hiring you.
Christy Lee
But my buddy tracked you down and he handed. You were always his favorite. He just loved you and he really, really respected you. And he stopped you and he said, tom, would you please sign this cd? And he handed it to you and you looked at it and you, you handed it back to him and said, you want to take it out of the cellophane. He felt so stupid.
Tom Griswold
I was happy to. Happy to sell.
Christy Lee
You were? You were? Yes.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, that cellophane was hard to get off back in the day.
Christy Lee
Yeah, it could be.
Tom Griswold
It's even worse now. Yeah. I carry a razor knife in my car to get the cellophane off the gum that I buy. One of these days I'm going to slice my thumb open trying to open anything. I even have a special scissors here for opening everything.
Jess Hooker
I know.
Tom Griswold
See these guys? Because everything now comes, you know, you buy a pack of batteries and in order to get it out, end up in the ER and see these babies? Yeah, he's cut through plastic.
Christy Lee
No, the most. One of the life's great ironies is have you ever tried to open a fresh pair of scissors or.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, there's no way any kind of.
Jess Hooker
Tool, a screwdriver, anything like that. It's a nightmare.
Christy Lee
Like, I needed these to cut open packaging.
Jess Hooker
Those are trauma shears. I bought those for Tom and just stuck them over there because they're the safest scissors he can have outside of preschool. Scissors.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Jess Hooker
And he uses scissors. Scissors for everything.
Josh Arnold
Cutting the pants off somebody.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Trauma shears.
Tom Griswold
Very handy to have. Yeah, you can, you can open stuff with them. I really appreciate it.
Jess Hooker
In case he needs to cut his clothes off.
Tom Griswold
Okay, now. Well, we have Christy Lee. She is at the Silac Insurance news desk here in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. We have time for one quick story.
Ace Cosby
An Iowa lawmaker has filed a bill to stop people from petting sharks According to the Des Moines Register, Representative Ray Bubba Sorensen introduced the bill in response to a July incident at Blue Zoo aquarium where an 18 inch bamboo shark bit an employee's hand. The bill seeks to add sharks to Iowa's list of dangerous and wild animals, which would mean anyone who allows a member of the public to have contact with a shark or intentionally allows the animal to escape would face an aggravated misdemeanor charge punishable by up to two years in prison or you get bit and.
Christy Lee
Oh, no, it's the people who allow the.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. Mr. Sorensen told a House subcommittee that that is Bill, quote, doesn't shut the zoo down. It just shuts down them having people pet a damn shark. That's a quote. Blue Zoo, a for profit interactive aquarium, currently allows patrons to feed and pet stingrays as well as bamboo sharks in a shallow pool at the aquarium. A lot of zoos and aquariums do this. It also has parakeets, a reptile habitat with tortoises, lizards and frogs. Parakeets. Okay, so there you go. Jeff.
Tom Griswold
You'Ve ever been to that place in the Bahamas where you go and you walk with the stingrays?
Josh Arnold
I've seen it. I've walked past it. I wouldn't do it, but I've seen it.
Tom Griswold
Oh, I've done it.
Josh Arnold
You have done it?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, it's. You have to shuffle because you don't step on. You don't want to step on them.
Ace Cosby
Right.
Tom Griswold
And I hated it. All I could think of was Steve Irwin.
Ace Cosby
That was a different stingray. That was a totally different Christie.
Tom Griswold
It doesn't matter. I'm terrified of many, many animals.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I'm surprised you got in that.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, well, the girls were in there. They're having fun. The worst one, though is if you're going to the Bahamas, I'm going to give you some advice. Save your money. Don't go to the place where you feed the pigs.
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah. Where the pigs are in the water with you.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that's.
Ace Cosby
That's so gross.
Tom Griswold
Oh, and it's also weird. And they go. They're beef hot dogs. It's still really, really crazy.
Jess Hooker
And they serve hot dogs where you swim with the pigs.
Tom Griswold
You feed the hot dogs to the pigs. Oh, and there's. And they warn you to that be careful because they'll take your fingers off. It's really dumb.
Ace Cosby
What?
Tom Griswold
And the pigs are pooping.
Ace Cosby
Why'd you do it? Because it goes.
Tom Griswold
It was. Because the boat ride there was super cool. So. Yeah, the thing. Yeah, take the boat ride. Have Fun. We saw sharks and dolphins, but when you get there, don't hop in the water with these gigantic organic wild pigs.
Jess Hooker
That's wild. I didn't. I didn't know that was an option.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah, yeah, it was. It was weird. And it's also in the Bahamas, of course, where the laws are a little bit sketchy. So in any event, I, I don't think this is going to pass, this shark thing in Iowa. If they had an anti shark law, that'd be.
Christy Lee
Well, that should be federal.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what's coming up, Christy Lee.
Ace Cosby
Well, we're not done with our shark news, and we have an interesting camel story. We have a cow in a barber shop. We have a donkey getting rescued from a pond. We have a Darth Vader bug. And more great stuff.
Tom Griswold
Okay, cool. Looking, Looking forward to all that. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios, and this is the Bob and Tom Show.
Bob Kevoian
Thanks for listening to the Bob and Tom show this morning. Catch any part of the show you missed later Today on our YouTube channel?
Christy Lee
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. We're here live in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. There's Christy Lee sitting at the Silac Insurance Company news desk.
Ace Cosby
Hello.
Christy Lee
Pat Godwin's across the way.
Josh Arnold
Hey, Josh.
Christy Lee
In the musical loft.
Josh Arnold
I am.
Christy Lee
There's Jess Hooker.
Jess Hooker
Hi.
Christy Lee
Jeff Oskay is in for Chickster today.
Jeff Oskay
Howdy.
Christy Lee
You fixing your glasses over there, pal?
Jeff Oskay
I am, buddy.
Tom Griswold
All right.
Christy Lee
There's Ace Cosby. Hey, Ace, have we heard your humor this morning?
Ace Cosby
Not yet.
Tom Griswold
Oh, I think we have. He already had one great ad lib.
Christy Lee
Oh, he had a good singer on me.
Tom Griswold
A great ad lib. In fact, we were all writing that down as the joke of the day.
Christy Lee
Yes. Josh Arnold at the I hate Stephen Singer sidekick chair. There's Tom.
Tom Griswold
Got some answers.
Ace Cosby
I have an email, too. Go ahead.
Tom Griswold
This is the horses already out of the barn. Email. Hey, Tom, you moron. It's pronounced leader Crons. That's where Pat played last week. Very helpful.
Josh Arnold
What'd you say?
Ace Cosby
Leader Kranz, I think.
Tom Griswold
Leader Kranz. Apparently. I don't know. I guess I got it wrong. But he says, hey, I went to see Pat Godwin the show Saturday night in Madison in Mansfield, Ohio. It was great. Fantastic job, Pat. Thank you. Wow. That's bad news. That means the one you're gonna do this week's not gonna be as good.
Josh Arnold
Be twice as good.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Oh, that's the. Trying to get him to not be nervous.
Ace Cosby
Ah, that helps. Hey, this is from Alan Christie. Cut signature sports cards have signatures that were cut from old letters, checks, etc. And made onto sports cards. They are not fakes. I apologize, Alan. I had no idea what a cut signature.
Tom Griswold
Well, I have five letters about this. Okay, this is. We were talking about these tops. Cards that are whatever. $6,000 for a packet of 42. I know you're not interested, Josh, because it's not hockey players. Oh, well, no, they couldn't get enough hockey. Wasn't actually make a signature. Made me shoot puck put in that.
Christy Lee
What?
Tom Griswold
Pin?
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That. That's the sport you should be going after. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Of all the people you're scared of.
Tom Griswold
He goes, this is from Cody. I worked in sports memorabilia. A cut signature is an actual signature that has been cut from a document placed onto the baseball card. Usually then the letter or whatever it's from is put on the back of the card as well. Wow.
Christy Lee
Okay, so that's. Let's say John Hancock signed some old document.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, that Declaration of Independence is right there on the back.
Jess Hooker
That's her.
Christy Lee
I doubt they cut that.
Tom Griswold
Herbie Hancock. Did Herbie Hancock ever do an album where he had for the COVID the Constitution with his name there instead of John Hancock? If not, he certainly should. I'm sorry. We were going to go back over to the SILAC Insurance news desk with Chris Lee. Did you introduce everybody?
Ace Cosby
I sure did.
Tom Griswold
I was not paying attention. Of course.
Ace Cosby
Of course not.
Tom Griswold
We have the very handsome Jeff. Oscar.
Jeff Oskay
No, no. He was talking about how handsome I was.
Tom Griswold
Let him go. Let the man speak.
Christy Lee
You're the one that has to watch all this again.
Tom Griswold
Let me see here as we go around the room. Let's see. We'll do it this way. No beard, that'd be Ace Beard. Yes, that'd be Jeffrey. No beard. That'd be Ms. Hooker.
Christy Lee
I simply can't believe you're doing that.
Tom Griswold
Pat Godwin. No beard. Christie. And then beard, Josh.
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Man need haircut. Okay.
Ace Cosby
You need a haircut.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Look at this.
Jess Hooker
Your. Yeah, your sideburns are pretty bushy from here.
Tom Griswold
Sorry, My. My lady is sick, so I.
Ace Cosby
Your lady.
Christy Lee
I'm sure she told you that.
Tom Griswold
The one that cuts.
Ace Cosby
Oh, the lady that cut your hair. I was like, your lady is sick. What does that have to do with your.
Christy Lee
Oh, do we have a new story?
Tom Griswold
Josh is going to kill himself. He's just itching to say something else. Inappropriate.
Ace Cosby
Australian surfer.
Josh Arnold
A what?
Ace Cosby
Australian surfer. You heard of those?
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Okay. They. He escaped Injury after a shark attacked him and took a chunk out of his surfboard.
Tom Griswold
Have you seen the picture of this?
Christy Lee
No. Does it look like a bite mark?
Ace Cosby
It looks like a cartoon of Albany. Was surfing off shiny Cheyenne's beach when the ten foot long bronze whaler shark charged at him. Ten foot long don't make everything dirty.
Tom Griswold
I've never heard of a whaler shark. It'll make up your mind.
Ace Cosby
He told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Quote. Like I don't do an Australian accent. But I had a tangle with it. I swung my board around and it took a bite out of the back. Mr. Kitao said he did not want to splash too much by swimming away. So he got back on his board and caught the next wave in. He said, I got out scot free. Luckily.
Christy Lee
All right.
Tom Griswold
But it. We don't have the photograph. It does look. Oh, wait a minute. I think we're trying to find. It looks just like in a cartoon where the bite mark would be. There it is.
Ace Cosby
Wow.
Tom Griswold
And then he actually has the chunk of the surfboard.
Christy Lee
That's a small bite.
Tom Griswold
Bigger than a football.
Christy Lee
I wouldn't be too worried about it.
Tom Griswold
Really. If that had been his leg, he'd be dead.
Christy Lee
Not necessarily.
Jess Hooker
That's a cool.
Tom Griswold
Really. So you could take a football's worth of flesh out of your thigh and live through it.
Ace Cosby
If he doesn't hit the artery, you would. You'd be all right.
Tom Griswold
Well, your legs, you. You have skinny legs.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
He doesn't have that much right to take.
Christy Lee
I have thigh gap. I can't afford to lose any.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that would be. That would take big. Probably femur and femoral artery. Is that the one? Is that the one?
Christy Lee
Oh, you would feel that on the bone. That would hit the. That would hit the femur.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Wow. So scary.
Ace Cosby
Some scientists are suggesting camel milk could serve as a healthier alternative to traditional cow.
Christy Lee
We tried it, remember?
Jess Hooker
No, real humpy.
Christy Lee
We absolutely got humps in it. Lumpy, you know. Remember we had it sent to us and we all drank it one morning.
Jess Hooker
We did.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, I remember that.
Tom Griswold
And wasn't it $100?
Ace Cosby
It was very expensive. Now that you've mentioned this, I remember it being a lot of.
Christy Lee
Yeah, none of us cared for it.
Jess Hooker
Really.
Tom Griswold
Is this the thing that they're saying pregnant women should be drinking? Am I getting this right?
Jess Hooker
Oh, I don't know. Is it?
Ace Cosby
I haven't heard that. But. Researchers at Edith Cohen University found camel milk has the potential to be hypoallergenic when compared to cow's milk by the.
Christy Lee
Way pregnant women are not going to drink camel milk.
Ace Cosby
They're not.
Christy Lee
If they were prone to swallowing things they didn't that weren't very good, they wouldn't be pregnant in the first place.
Tom Griswold
He was itching to get that out.
Ace Cosby
Currently around.
Tom Griswold
He really deserves a hearty chuckle. And didn't we decide that the beauty of camel milk was.
Jeff Oskay
Right. You don't have to bend over to milk them.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Jeff Oskay
Saves your back.
Tom Griswold
Just walk right up, ladies. Walk right up and go for.
Ace Cosby
Currently.
Tom Griswold
I don't know much about camels. I assume that aren't they kind of dangerous to be around if you're. Couldn't they stomp you to death?
Ace Cosby
Any animal could probably stomp you to.
Tom Griswold
Death, but I mean, they're big.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Pat, have you had experience with camels?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, I'm lack camel toe intolerant.
Christy Lee
That is silly.
Josh Arnold
That is so silly.
Christy Lee
I love it.
Ace Cosby
Around 80% of global milk production is sourced from cows, with camel milk production sitting at fifth place.
Christy Lee
Wow.
Ace Cosby
Behind buffaloes, goats and sheep.
Christy Lee
What about almonds?
Ace Cosby
Almonds not on the list. Camel milk only.
Christy Lee
Buffalo milk.
Tom Griswold
Wait a minute.
Christy Lee
That's kind of spicy.
Ace Cosby
I think it's water buffaloes. I don't. Or I don't think it's buffalo.
Tom Griswold
Buffalo. I've never heard of any of those.
Ace Cosby
You never heard any of those animals? Goats and sheep?
Tom Griswold
No. The.
Christy Lee
You know, certainly you've heard of goat milk.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. You've heard of goat milk.
Jeff Oskay
They make a lot of soap. You probably have goat milk soap at your house.
Ace Cosby
Do.
Tom Griswold
I'm an ivory man.
Ace Cosby
Oh, goat milk is.
Christy Lee
He uses actual elephant ivory.
Tom Griswold
It's ground up. It gives it kind of a scrubbing quality. Right round grit.
Christy Lee
There's a grit.
Tom Griswold
So what are the animals?
Ace Cosby
Goat's milk is used like for baby deer that are rescued.
Tom Griswold
Buffalo milk?
Ace Cosby
Yeah. Buffalo, goats and sheep. Camel milk only accounts for around 0.4% of current milk production globally.
Tom Griswold
So 0.4% is. Dairy cows is less than 1%.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. Yes, it is.
Tom Griswold
In other words. In other words, that's as close as you can get to zero.
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Ace Cosby
Dairy cows.
Christy Lee
That would be skim.
Ace Cosby
Dairy cows produce up to seven gallons of milk a day. Camels typically one. So it's not a very good.
Christy Lee
But they're saying it's healthier.
Ace Cosby
That's the somebody saying that.
Tom Griswold
No. Yeah. And we. When we tried it, no one liked it. Is that also.
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah. It definitely had a distinct flavor.
Tom Griswold
Now, camel butter.
Ace Cosby
Speaking of cows, clients and staff at a Chinese barber shop were left stunned after A cow charged into the business. Video shared online shows the bovine barging through the door of a barber shop in Nanyang. Mayhem ensues as stylists run out with scissors still in hand. Clients with wet hair scramble to get out as well. And according to local media, the cow's owner said the animal got nervous while being loaded into a truck. I don't want to go there. I saw my buddy and ran off toward the shop.
Christy Lee
Ace, do you know what cows put in their hair? Go ahead. That's exactly right.
Tom Griswold
You know why they use it, though?
Jeff Oskay
Why is that?
Tom Griswold
They have a cow lick.
Josh Arnold
You know, this is. This is genius work over here.
Christy Lee
Thank you. This is like vaudeville.
Tom Griswold
I like. This video is really funny. These poor guys and they're trying to get a haircut and some guy look was getting one of those awful haircuts where it's all shaved on the side. So. But they hadn't finished it, so it was good for him. It was bovine intervention.
Christy Lee
Intervention.
Tom Griswold
Oh, thank you. Coming up, coming up, up, it'll be Ace Cosby with the fabulous Ace Cosby joke of the day. Right now, I want to talk about another possibility for Valentine's Day. The reason I like this one, because it has the Christy Lee component, which is, of course, that one rule, when you shop for a gift, you always get one for yourself, as you know. Now, this is especially applicable for things that are really expensive, like diamonds. But for the Raycon earbuds. Hey, I'm going to get a pair for. And I'm gonna get a pair for myself. Raycon earbuds. We get love letters about the Raycon earbuds. In fact, I was just handed one, which I'd read to you, except I got lost in the shuffle. Anyway, the point is, this is the season of love, and we love those Raycon earbuds, and they're a great gift. The latest model of The Raycon earbuds, 32 hour battery life, multi point connectivity. I don't know what that means, but it says here you can pair two devices at once.
Ace Cosby
That's what it means. Means.
Tom Griswold
Okay, good. I have. I have Raycon earbuds. I use them, but I don't understand multi point connectivity. But then you're probably much more sophisticated than I am.
Christy Lee
Check. We need you, buddy.
Tom Griswold
By the way, they also have active noise cancellation. So, for example, I could put them in now and not hear Josh's offensive comments about. About economic activity in our country. Among other things, Raycon earbuds. They also make, by the way, the Raycon over the head headphones. I'm not sure what they're called or what are they called? Over the ear headphones.
Ace Cosby
They're just called headphones.
Tom Griswold
Okay, good. That's, those are the ones I got for my girls so when we travel they can hook them up to their iPads and stuff and I can blissfully enjoy my ride. So go to buyraycon.com tom why today, 20% off site wide. You got plenty of time to get one of these as a gift for that special day, Valentine's Day. 20% off sitewide from the Raycon folks. Go to buyraycon.com Tom that's byraycon.com Tom when we come back, another song from Mr. Godwin with his brand new guitar. It's very exciting. He's getting ready for his big show in Provo, Utah this Saturday, the Dry bar comedy special. If you're anywhere near there, go support him. If, or fly in, fly into Salt Lake, maybe ski on Friday, number of Grayski, go to Alta, go to Dear Valley and then go see Pat if you're not too tired or just go skiing and tell me about it. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Christy Lee
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. We're live from the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. And we sure are happy you're joining us this morning, Tom. It's been a lot of fun, hasn't it? And a lot more fun coming up.
Tom Griswold
Yes, sir.
Christy Lee
I'm sorry, that was on me.
Tom Griswold
He was, I'm just leaning over here. I've been reading about these baseball cards that I know was boring you to death.
Christy Lee
Well, it's not that. It's the lack of information.
Tom Griswold
Well, no, it's just confusing. I did, I was not aware of these so called cuts.
Ace Cosby
Could have waited till tomorrow. You could have researched it this afternoon.
Christy Lee
That's the whole thing on your own.
Tom Griswold
Now this is really exciting. We've learned that they take famous signatures like Marilyn Monroe and then they, they electronically duplicate them and they, they cut them into the car cards and these, these baseball packets.
Ace Cosby
No, no, no, no, no.
Christy Lee
They cut them off the actual document.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. And then put them on the card.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
They're not, they're the real, they're the actual signature.
Tom Griswold
No, it's, it's facsimile though.
Christy Lee
It isn't.
Ace Cosby
Oh, no, that's what I've been trying.
Jeff Oskay
Right. That's why they're worth so much.
Christy Lee
Yeah. The emails that have been sent and.
Tom Griswold
Say no, they took the Constitution.
Christy Lee
No, of course not. Yeah, but they took something else. That John Hancock.
Ace Cosby
They're not fake.
Tom Griswold
I shouldn't have done it. Well, I did. Then what'd you do? I got the David Bowie card. I put it in the spokes of my bicycle.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah. No, it's a real signature.
Tom Griswold
You know the sound it made.
Christy Lee
Song I like that I enjoyed.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I'm still confused that I'm gonna have to do my homework on this. Christy Lee is at the Bob and Tom news desk. We call it the Silac Insurance news desk. But I want to get a song out of pad.
Ace Cosby
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Got this new guitar. Did you get your guitar off? Fixed up and plugged in.
Christy Lee
Did you say stupid guitar? I. I heard get your stupid guitar.
Josh Arnold
Oh, it sounds. So this is.
Tom Griswold
This is his new guitar. And it sounds good.
Josh Arnold
Oh, thank you. This is a song called Guess My Name.
Christy Lee
That threw me at first.
Josh Arnold
I didn't know what you guys were doing. I get it. Ah, please allow me to introduce myself. I'm the guy who says your content's pretty lame. You can post all you want and I'll have a mean reply. Pleased to meet you. Hope you guess my name. You may know my work. I start with hey, douchebag, your guitar is out of tune and the songs you sing are gay. That shirt you're wearing doesn't come in men's sizes. Don't quit your day job. Learn how how to play. I'm the Internet comments guy guaranteed to make you cry. You can block me all you want, but my words will never die. I can barely read, but I'm a critic. Yes, indeed, I'm the Internet comments guy. Oh, if you post a pic on Facebook or Instagram a selfie, I'll say your pouty lips were made for glory holes. But a YouTube clip and I'll crap all over it. I'm a faceless punk, a witless jerk and a gutless troll. I'm the Internet comments guy. Why do you even try? You can report me all you want. The abuse will multiply. I say you're a schmuck and your video sucks. I'm the Internet comments. I'll be up in a minute, mom. On the Internet comments go.
Tom Griswold
That's me.
Jess Hooker
I'll get you in trouble based on true story.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, it is.
Josh Arnold
It all is based on the truth.
Tom Griswold
That's a great guitar sound. Besides. Besides a great song.
Ace Cosby
Pat, you're not singing that on dry bar.
Josh Arnold
No, I'm not doing any of this.
Ace Cosby
No.
Tom Griswold
What's your cleanest song?
Josh Arnold
I Don't know. Probably steal my identity hotel pool. I'm gonna be doing okay.
Tom Griswold
I like that.
Christy Lee
Great.
Tom Griswold
What's your non cleanest song?
Josh Arnold
That's the one about the Pope.
Tom Griswold
I would think it might be pubes. Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Christy Lee
Beaver, certainly.
Ace Cosby
Oh good. Beaver.
Tom Griswold
Seems to be a theme that's about maybe a medley.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, absolutely. Pubes.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Number one.
Tom Griswold
Okay. I love that dude. Now it's a time now to go back over there to Christy Lee at the Silac.
Ace Cosby
Ah, we still have more animals in the news. Firefighters in Pennsylvania helped rescue a donkey donkey that fell into a semi frozen pond. According to CBS News, owner Angela Holman called 911 after one of her donkeys named Jill fell through the ice of their backyard pond.
Christy Lee
Now they have to wait for it to he thaw.
Tom Griswold
Oh, nice.
Christy Lee
He fall.
Ace Cosby
Cranberry Township volunteer fire company Lt. Corey McLaughlin told the News organization that a water rescue team hooked Jill up to a rope system allowing them to haul the 600 pound animal out of the water. Daughter Cruz wrapped her in blankets, brought her inside. While Yvette treated her. David and Angela Holman treated their two donkeys, Jill and Lanny, like their children.
Tom Griswold
Jill and who? That's like Lanny, not Jack?
Ace Cosby
No. Maybe they don't have a boy. Lanny's a girl's name.
Christy Lee
Well, she don't want a jack ass.
Tom Griswold
I. Believe me, I know. I work with zer. Did they have a crane?
Ace Cosby
They just said the rope system a robot.
Tom Griswold
Still a 600 pound donkey.
Jeff Oskay
Oh. Winches, pulleys. Yeah, that'll do it.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Tie it around its neck. Get it out of there.
Tom Griswold
Oh, oh, here's a heck. What a good looking donkey.
Ace Cosby
Well, I'm glad we donkeys are kind of cool looking.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Looks like a nice little critter.
Jess Hooker
Can you eat donkey?
Christy Lee
I've eaten ass before.
Ace Cosby
You can eat anything.
Josh Arnold
It's very popular.
Tom Griswold
I actually saw that, that guy, that, that vanity plate. I. Yeah, Josh, timeout. It had the. Well, it was a reference to. I really can't say. I'm not. I actually saw it. I couldn't believe the. The guy got it. It was so disgusting. And one of the words was eat. The other was a very short word for donkey. So your question is a valid one. I, I mean you can eat virtually anything. I don't know if anything.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, I don't think people eat.
Tom Griswold
I hope they don't.
Jess Hooker
You can milk it. Can you milk it or Donkey's just boys. You got a girl donkey.
Christy Lee
I don't know what the difference is.
Ace Cosby
Just boys. We wouldn't have any dogs come from.
Christy Lee
I don't know if I know mules and all that stuff.
Josh Arnold
I know burrows are very popular.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Even Taco Bell has the.
Tom Griswold
A burrow burrito. Oh, that's a very small bird burrow. Right, Okay.
Christy Lee
I. You don't like the frozen burritos, though. You have to wait for them too.
Ace Cosby
This is just silliness. It is, yes.
Tom Griswold
Donkeys are so cool. Kind of cool looking.
Ace Cosby
Donkeys are awesome.
Jeff Oskay
I had on my honeymoon, we went to Zuatanejo down in Mexico. And my wife at the time wanted to take a horse ride on the beach.
Christy Lee
I'm sorry, real quick. Isn't that the place where they meet up in Shawshank?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, that's where we went on.
Christy Lee
I've never met anybody that's actually been to.
Jeff Oskay
It's gorgeous. It's absolutely stunning. And so they bring out her horse as this white stallion and it's gorgeous. And they set her on it and then they bring me out a donkey and I go, dude, that's my. That's not a horse. He goes, it's a Mexican horse, senor. And her horse pushed my donkey out into the water. The whole time it was like her horse knew my. Mine wasn't a real horse. I kept trying to drown it the entire walk on the thing. No, it's a Mexican horse, senor. I'm like, that is a donkey. The ears are up there. Has two foot ears on this thing. They tried to embarrass me.
Jess Hooker
I hope there's pictures somewhere.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, yeah, there is. Okay, I'll get them out.
Tom Griswold
You still have them?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, yeah, I have one he didn't find.
Ace Cosby
Nah, you don't have all. You don't have pictures from your past life?
Tom Griswold
Sometimes handfuls of them here and there.
Ace Cosby
That's it.
Tom Griswold
A lot of them are missing.
Christy Lee
Well, isn't it fun when.
Tom Griswold
Isn't there a. Isn't there a service where you can send them and they'll pixelate out all the people you don't want in them anymore?
Christy Lee
Yeah, I'm sure.
Ace Cosby
Don't you now? Okay, I'm just. Because I'm moving and I'm going through all these pictures right now. Don't you kind of like going, oh, there's my high school boyfriend. Or I mean, there's an entire.
Jeff Oskay
Tom's high school boyfriend has been dead for years.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, he doesn't like the Tom talking about that.
Ace Cosby
All right, smartass.
Tom Griswold
And there's an entire chunk of my life that's missing.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
What do you mean missing?
Tom Griswold
It got thrown away.
Josh Arnold
Oh, well.
Ace Cosby
Oh, I'm sorry.
Tom Griswold
Long story.
Jess Hooker
I like it. My mom and dad are going through all their stuff and giving it to me. And because they're like, hey, we're going to die soon. You want this?
Christy Lee
Sure, sure.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. So they're doing it now while they're alive, so we don't have to do it when they die. I think it's really nice thing do.
Jeff Oskay
I love how they're doing on the new family photos with like, they'll have. We're gonna have your boyfriends or girlfriends stand on the end so that they can just cut them out easily when they get a new one.
Jess Hooker
Or they.
Jeff Oskay
That's brilliant.
Jess Hooker
They ask them to take the picture. Are you ever been in that situation?
Ace Cosby
Absolutely.
Christy Lee
And it's totally fine.
Tom Griswold
Do you remember that? That's actually referenced in the original movie the Godfather.
Jess Hooker
Oh, really?
Tom Griswold
Remember where she calls her. She calls the. What is it? The, the date to come over for the photo. Oh, yeah, but that, that's a standard classic. You've got it. As a photographer, you've got to go, okay, blood relations only.
Jess Hooker
Right?
Tom Griswold
Or whatever. It's. It. Can you go?
Christy Lee
I think it's totally fine. All right, let's get everybody. And then you go, okay, now let's just get.
Ace Cosby
Of course.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. I was doing that once at an event years ago, and after it was over, someone came up to me and said, that is amazing. I went, what? Do you realize that then they went through the. The thing. She doesn't speak to him, he doesn't speak to her. They don't speak to each other. And you got them all in the same photo. Oh, how nice.
Ace Cosby
Can't we all just get along?
Tom Griswold
No, we can't.
Ace Cosby
Russia has reportedly sent 100 so called elite goats to North Korea. Russian federal custom announced that the elite breed of dairy goats had been cleared by customs officers at Kashan, a town that serves as a common point of entry for Russian goods into North Korea. Politico previously reported that 447 goats, a majority of which were pregnant, were sent to North Korea, likely to help relieve North Korea's food shortage.
Christy Lee
Yeah. No, not if the North Korean government's involved. No one's getting those goats.
Tom Griswold
Now wait a second. So the goats are from Russia? And am I correct in saying isn't North Korea sending a lot of soldiers. Soldiers to their deaths?
Ace Cosby
Yeah, right now correct in saying that.
Tom Griswold
Not much of a trade, huh?
Ace Cosby
No.
Tom Griswold
We'll take a thousand human beings for 400 goats and you got to get you guys get to go right to the front. But at least you get some good sandwiches before you get slaughtered.
Ace Cosby
Oh my God, Tom.
Tom Griswold
I'm just saying.
Christy Lee
Why'd we even do that?
Ace Cosby
Why did we do that? He made me.
Christy Lee
I know.
Tom Griswold
I think it's kind of comical. This makes the international newswire that they're giving them goats.
Ace Cosby
Oh. Scientists have named a newly identified super giant sea bug after the Star wars villain Darth Vader.
Christy Lee
A super giant sea bug?
Ace Cosby
Yes. Native to Vietnam, the Bothanomus vadari was given its name after researchers noticed its head resembled Darth Vader's helmet.
Tom Griswold
Ah, these things are really gross.
Josh Arnold
Gross looking.
Ace Cosby
According to cnn, super giant sea bugs, Josh, are members of the isopod family also naturally.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Yes. Which are characterized by their rigid exoskeleton and seven pairs of legs. Scientists recently confirmed the Bee Vidari is its own species.
Christy Lee
Good beaver dairy gone bad.
Ace Cosby
The deep sea creatures were officially described in a study published in the journal Zookees. Oh, by the way, they're believed to have slow reproductive abilities. And scientists have raised concerns about its integration into global seafood markets, noting people may eat them out of existence. So they eat these superbugs?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Vietnam, I'm sure.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, you just eat some drawn butter.
Tom Griswold
They look like gigantic trilobites. They're so gross looking. You know. What about slow reproduction, Josh? Ever since you want on the meds.
Christy Lee
No kidding. Those SSRIs really bear with me on a.
Tom Griswold
The 9:15 will be coming in about 10:30. Yeah, I might want to watch another episode.
Ace Cosby
Speaking of food, a new case study reveals a man's carnivore diet caused cholesterol deposits to grow out of his skin.
Tom Griswold
I saw this. This is so disgusting.
Jeff Oskay
It looks so painful.
Ace Cosby
Doctors involved in the man's described how his dietary habits included a high intake of fats consisting of six to nine pounds of cheese, sticks of butter and additional fat incorporated into his daily hamburgers.
Jeff Oskay
What?
Ace Cosby
Said to be in his 40s, the man had been on the so called carnivore diet for months.
Christy Lee
Well, that sounds way too.
Ace Cosby
Causing the amount of cholesterol in his blood to skyrocket almost four times higher than its usual levels.
Christy Lee
And now it's shooting out of his pores.
Ace Cosby
As a result, he developed developed a skin condition known as Exensomia, wherein yellow deposits of cholesterol oozed out of the creases of his skin on his hands.
Tom Griswold
He looks like he's one of the simpsons now he's got that color.
Christy Lee
That is awful.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Has he Gone to the occasional salad.
Tom Griswold
I don't know.
Ace Cosby
That's all the information I have.
Tom Griswold
God, his blood is like molasses.
Ace Cosby
But isn't that like an Atkins diet? I mean, that's a popular diet, right?
Jeff Oskay
Six pounds of cheese and butter.
Christy Lee
Sticks of butter.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. There I. People do have sides of butter. Like when you see their fin.
Christy Lee
Yeah, this isn't for everybody.
Tom Griswold
Six pounds of cheese a day. I understand he's looking forward to March for his first crap of the year. God.
Jeff Oskay
Man, how is that possible? That's so much cheese.
Christy Lee
That's so much cholesterol.
Ace Cosby
Well, he hasn't gone to the bathroom in six years.
Tom Griswold
A balanced diet, folks.
Christy Lee
Yeah.

The deep voice Ace Cosby. Here he is with his joke of the day.
Christy Lee
Hey, Jeff.
Jeff Oskay
Y.
Christy Lee
What did the pirate name his pet clam?
Jeff Oskay
What did the pirate name his pet clam?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
What?
Tom Griswold
Michelle.
Christy Lee
Ah, Michelle. I like it. I do, too.
Ace Cosby
Watching my sleep number sleep better together. Say 50% on a new sleep number. Limited edition smart pad, limited time only, exclusively at a sleep number store.
Tom Griswold
Thank you.
Christy Lee
The old joke about the pirate with the steering wheel on his belt buckle, the punchline being something along the lines of it's driving me nuts.
Tom Griswold
Oh, I like that very much. That is a very fine job.
Christy Lee
Or what the pirates said on his 80th birthday.
Ace Cosby
No.
Christy Lee
His 80th birthday. Yeah, I maybe.
Tom Griswold
I maybe should have saved that one. That's a good one.
Christy Lee
Christy, do you know what a pirate's favorite kind of rating for a movie is?
Ace Cosby
No, what?
Christy Lee
PG 13. I may have that wrong.
Ace Cosby
I thought you were gonna say, do you know what a pirate's favorite fast food is?
Christy Lee
Oh, I don't.
Josh Arnold
I know what it is.
Ace Cosby
Arby's.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, you.
Ace Cosby
Are you digging out some out of trash?
Tom Griswold
I'm busy over here. We Got a show to do. I'm sorry. How about the official music for today in history, ladies and gentlemen?
Ace Cosby
Jeff doesn't know how to do that.
Tom Griswold
Oh, okay.
Ace Cosby
Oh, there it is.
Jeff Oskay
On it very much.
Christy Lee
It's so sad when nobody talks. It's just that sad.
Jess Hooker
I know.
Tom Griswold
Okay, here we go, see. What is today? February 3rd.
Ace Cosby
Correct.
Tom Griswold
Oh, this is a good one for you, Josh.
Christy Lee
Yes, sir.
Tom Griswold
Involves a literary.
Christy Lee
I'm a well read man.
Tom Griswold
On this date in 1863, this man used a pen name for the first time in a Virginia City newspaper. Newspaper. He used the pen name Mark Twain.
Christy Lee
Oh, yes. That would be Samuel Clemens now.
Tom Griswold
Do you know where he got that?
Christy Lee
Yeah, it's some sort of form of measurement for like a river.
Tom Griswold
Like depth.
Christy Lee
Depth.
Tom Griswold
Mark Twain. Yes, yes. Originally he was gonna go with Dinky Doodle.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
