It's the Bob and Tom show, new this season on the Bob and Tom Television Network. Look up in the sky. It's a bird, It's a plane? It's the biggest set of jugs I've ever seen. It's Shirtless Girl Posing as a topless dancer?
Chick McGee
Showing off her pecs.
Tom Griswold
No one knows her secret Til she takes off her specs? She's Shirtless Girl?
Christy Lee
Shirtless Girl? With her special powers she gives the bad guys fits?
Tom Griswold
She don't use no gun she stops them with her?
Christy Lee
She's Shirtless Girl? Shirtless Girl?
Tom Griswold
Working in the chemistry lab one day, sophomore year, nothing seemed amiss. But that night, an amazing transformation took place. And the next morning, young Debbie Yabo woke to find.
Josh Arnold
My God, I'm huge.
Tom Griswold
I must dedicate these to fighting evil. Little did Debbie know that years before, on the planet Lactoid, a planet whose gravity was causing it to sag dangerously toward the sun, her father, Major Yabo, and mother Teton sent their infant daughter Areola rocketing through the Milky Way to Earth, knowing one day she'd become Shirtless Girl, keeping the city of Metopolis safe. Okay, nobody move.
Josh Arnold
Hand over all the money.
Tom Griswold
It's Shirtless Girl.
Josh Arnold
Not so fast, bad guy.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah, like some dam is going.
Josh Arnold
To get a load of these.
Christy Lee
Huh?
Josh Arnold
Oh, I can't run away.
Chick McGee
Hell, I can't even walk.
Tom Griswold
Thanks, Shirtless Girl. You're welcome, citizens.
Christy Lee
Don't touch those. Sorry.
Tom Griswold
Along with her fellow superheroines, Wonder Bra Woman Bikini, Spider Woman, the Flash and the green horny Shirtless Girl formed the legion of Super Hooters.
Josh Arnold
Look. It's the cat signal.
Tom Griswold
Some boob must need help.
Josh Arnold
I better call my teenage bosom buddy a cup and head to the wet cave. I know. I'll use the hooter scooter.
Tom Griswold
And once again, Sherpa's Girl, you've kept Metopolis safe and warm and snug and soft bouncy.
Christy Lee
Once again defeating your archenemy the Jiggler.
Tom Griswold
We are grateful.
Chick McGee
Thanks, Shirtless Girl.
Christy Lee
Yay.
Tom Griswold
You're welcome, citizens.
Christy Lee
Don't touch those. Sorry.
Tom Griswold
Come again next week for another titillating adventure of Shirtless Girl.
Josh Arnold
I'm Shirtless Girl.
Christy Lee
Shirtless Girl. Shirtless Girl.
Tom Griswold
Only on the Bob and Tom Television network. Hello, it's the Bob and Tom Show. Oh, look at that. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. There's Christy Lee.
Josh Arnold
Hi.
Tom Griswold
Wearing a snappy ascot.
Josh Arnold
Thank you very much.
Tom Griswold
You're welcome.
Christy Lee
I didn't wear your snappy ass.
Tom Griswold
Well, anybody want to. Anybody want to take that?
Josh Arnold
No complaints, but thank you.
Tom Griswold
Hello, Josh. Arnold. Hi.
Christy Lee
I'm complaining. I'm just getting out of Napkin.
Tom Griswold
Ace. Cosby's here. There's Tom Griswold. I'm Chick. Hello, Tom. Go ahead, Mr. Mr. Ornery.
Josh Arnold
Are you ornery today?
Christy Lee
Oh, I had a technical issue off the chart, so.
Josh Arnold
You did?
Christy Lee
Yeah, but we're fine. I love coming in this unprepared. I did want to do a couple things here for Josh while you were gone. Mr. Oskay. Who's right there? Jeffrey, can you step up to the mic for just a second without. He was given a bowl full of. What's the source of these little pieces of paper?
Jeff Oskay
Those were from Jason, our producer.
Christy Lee
Right.
Jeff Oskay
It was his idea.
Tom Griswold
They're. They're random cat, hopefully. Random catchphrases written down on fortune cookie sized pieces of paper. You're supposed to dive into the fishbowl and use one every now and then.
Christy Lee
Right?
Josh Arnold
Right.
Christy Lee
Oh, so it was my turn to choose.
Josh Arnold
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Josh, he's lying.
Tom Griswold
Jeff came in with the. The fishbowl. The. The. All the. All the suggestions given by Jason. Jeff did the first one, and Tom.
Josh Arnold
It was supposed to be Jeff's thing for the morning. Like that was his deal.
Tom Griswold
The whole thing took it over.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, Yeah.
Chick McGee
I mean, that sounds ruined. It sounds right. Right.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Rung the fun.
Christy Lee
So you. You missed it.
Tom Griswold
So, yeah, you missed that mess.
Christy Lee
Here's. But the one I grabbed was. This is the kind of a way to start the show.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Christy Lee
Kind of a way to get it up and rolling. Get the.
Tom Griswold
The. I like the one you had. How about that ass on that?
Christy Lee
It says, is it hot in here or is it just Christie? Oh, and then Chick modified it, much like one would modify, say, a fortune cookie.
Chick McGee
Okay. Oh, I see.
Christy Lee
So you're supposed to add on the toilet.
Josh Arnold
No.
Christy Lee
So you're supposed in here, or is it just Christy on the toilet?
Tom Griswold
No, you're supposed to add in bed. You've heard of that?
Chick McGee
Sure, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Sure. Yes. Not on the. You came up with on the toilet because you're mystified and fascinated by the human bowel. No, the bowel movement in general of anything or anybody.
Josh Arnold
Not have one for five years. What the hell.
Tom Griswold
You're fascinated. You ever try an enema? Usually I. Why aren't you into enemas? You know, wet and wild. Wet and wild, baby, like every other day until your head collapses.
Christy Lee
I've never done the colonic. I've read about them. My sister did one once.
Josh Arnold
Oh yeah?
Christy Lee
And then we had. We had a news story about this.
Tom Griswold
Is that another one of those games you and your brother and your sister played at the lake house? All naked, giving each other enemas and playing bear man with towels wrapped around your neck.
Christy Lee
So none of this is unreasonable.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Queer. No, it absolutely tracks. We're going to give Jany and enema tonight. Okay.
Christy Lee
Good morning. Good morning, Jed, if you're listening, let's see. What time is it over there?
Josh Arnold
Noon.
Christy Lee
Is it?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Well, in any event, no, but remember we had the news story about this place where they would give you a colonic, which I guess is like a enema with a. With a boost or something.
Josh Arnold
And then they would read the.
Christy Lee
And then they would read. Read the relief. The leaves as they came by. If you think that's a real thing, you're an idiot.
Tom Griswold
Well, no, I think. I think half of the battle is. You believe it. Right?
Josh Arnold
Right.
Tom Griswold
You really believe it?
Christy Lee
Yeah, but I mean, what.
Tom Griswold
It's going to play a part.
Christy Lee
What spiritual guru gets people to buy into that?
Chick McGee
A poor. Please.
Josh Arnold
Obviously a lot of people do or they wouldn't be still doing it.
Christy Lee
Well, I think we've established the fact that contemporary culture, the majority of people are morons.
Josh Arnold
No, they're searching, Tom. They're not morons. They're just searching.
Christy Lee
To see some. They're helping some rational, hardworking CEO come up. Well, before we decide the inflationary, we have to. Everyone have to have their enemies done this afternoon. And we'll meet for a corporate meeting this evening at seven.
Chick McGee
The typical CEO. Maybe not, but I think some of the.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
When you get into your musks. Your Bezos.
Christy Lee
Yes. Your tech guys.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah. You know, they're.
Christy Lee
We've decided to lay off 1200 people based on my enema last night. Good. Good idea, Roger.
Chick McGee
And I haven't had my glass of baby dolphin blood yet.
Christy Lee
That's right. Thank you. Internet.
Tom Griswold
Well, we were. We were talking about the latest Internet craze. Right. You want to talk about that on the air.
Josh Arnold
What was it?
Christy Lee
Which one?
Tom Griswold
There's frostbite.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah, that's coming up. Yeah, that's.
Tom Griswold
It's grim.
Chick McGee
I hope people are purposely getting it.
Christy Lee
Yes, but it's. It's in a designer kind of way, much like frostbite.
Josh Arnold
They call it freeze branding.
Tom Griswold
Much like. Yeah, the. The hot iron branding you do on cattle. It's. They're.
Christy Lee
It's. It's burning just in a different way.
Tom Griswold
Switching it up a bit.
Chick McGee
They're not trying to remove planters, warts or anything.
Tom Griswold
No, no, it's.
Christy Lee
Although it's interesting enough, it's the same principle. Theoretically, if you wanted to get a brand that was near a planter's words, you could kill two birds. Well, thank you, doctor.
Josh Arnold
Is that what they used to. For, like frozone, the freeze of the cells that look like they could become skin cancer?
Christy Lee
Yeah. They usually spray on that. Yeah, I get that done all the time. What's that stuff called?
Josh Arnold
I don't know.
Christy Lee
I get it done so much, I was thinking of getting a home gun.
Josh Arnold
So does my husband.
Tom Griswold
Skin cancer.
Josh Arnold
My husband.
Chick McGee
Melanoma.
Tom Griswold
It's hilarious.
Christy Lee
They. It's like a little canister with a spritzer thing on it. And it freezes. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
See a professional frozone or something.
Josh Arnold
See your dermatologist.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Yes. Have somebody else.
Christy Lee
I'm going in a couple of weeks. Weeks? Oh, as a matter of fact.
Chick McGee
Get checked out.
Christy Lee
Let's see now. I had a bunch of stuff to start the show, and I've lost again. I had a technical issue this morning, so I'm waiting.
Tom Griswold
Computer wouldn't work and the entire world caved in.
Josh Arnold
Oh, your computer didn't work?
Christy Lee
No, it worked.
Tom Griswold
It was just standard.
Christy Lee
I got here early, of course, which guarantees something's gonna go wrong.
Chick McGee
Oh, boy.
Tom Griswold
So when you say you get here early, that's like right after yesterday's show, you go have lunch and then come right back, Right? Yeah.
Christy Lee
I didn't get a lot done last night because I was whittling with my daughter.
Josh Arnold
Whittling, huh?
Tom Griswold
Hold it. Timeout.
Josh Arnold
You were talking about whittling last week.
Tom Griswold
I. I was joking about it. But you. You could really take dewhittlig if. If you. If you wanted to.
Christy Lee
Hardest night. And she goes to this really great little camp right now.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
And she came back. She came back yesterday and she started whittling a spatula. It was just great.
Chick McGee
All right, so what.
Christy Lee
But it's a very. You've got a very sharp knife, so we're in the backyard. And then after a while she asked me if I would help her. So.
Tom Griswold
And how did they take out her.
Josh Arnold
Stick or did they give her a stick to use?
Christy Lee
I don't know, but it's. I didn't know where the stick came from. But it's great though. She's made a. It's a good thing. This is the same knife last year. You may recall this story. She came back one day from camp and we just purchased her one of these special knives. With you. And there was all kinds of rules.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
And I said, okay. She wanted to do some whittling after dinner. And I said, okay, as soon as I know the dishes, I'll come out and we'll do it. And she had a friend over and.
Tom Griswold
Soon as I'm done with the dishes.
Christy Lee
So who's.
Josh Arnold
So the friend ended up in the emergency room.
Chick McGee
That's right.
Christy Lee
You remember the story? Yeah, she. They. They weren't. Wait. They. I said, wait for me in the porch. And her friend took it out of the sheath and had her thumb.
Josh Arnold
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Christy Lee
There. So when it came out of the sheath.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
So there was a lot of blood. And that's a fun phone call for those parents out there.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Hey, Sean, a funny thing just happened.
Tom Griswold
Now your daughter.
Christy Lee
Your daughter and I are on the way to the emergency room.
Tom Griswold
Here's the thing, though. How did you make that anybody's fault but yours?
Christy Lee
Well, because I said, wait till I get out to the porch.
Josh Arnold
Well, don't give her the knife.
Tom Griswold
Yes, yes.
Josh Arnold
Put the knife up on a shelf.
Tom Griswold
Where she can't, you narcissistic lunatic. It was still your fault. I'm sorry. Did you try. I'm sorry.
Christy Lee
Yes, yes, I did. I think everyone learned a lesson, but it was the same. It's the same knife.
Tom Griswold
I told her. Well, she's three.
Christy Lee
I told her the blood stained knife.
Tom Griswold
She put the cat in the microwave. I told her not to.
Christy Lee
Coming up, a letter that will make most of you angry. Thank you very much. Got a. A really nice letter here. Some Raycon love and I always want to go. Yeah, that's a good song.
Josh Arnold
With the Raycon and driving.
Christy Lee
Those were the first. Those were the first two rock stars that I ever met.
Josh Arnold
Really Golden Earth.
Chick McGee
You met golden and Earring.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, and they were Tommy golden and Billy Earring.
Christy Lee
They were the nicest two guys. And we. I don't remember this ace. I think they opened for Triumph. Great show, by the way. God, was that Triumph a great band. Anyway, they wanted A tour of the station. They want to go see the transmitters they were. And they're what, from Holland or something?
Tom Griswold
Well, yeah, they're spies. Take our technology back to Dutchland.
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah, I know. They're. They're making those little wooden shoes. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Little hidden cameras in them.
Tom Griswold
You know they did.
Christy Lee
We'll get to our Raycon, love. But right now it's important that you're able to sit back and enjoy your home and know that it's safe and secure. Thanks to our friends at Simply Safe. We got it right here in the studio. Chick.

Josh Arnold
You have a switcher.
Tom Griswold
I don't have a switcher, but I am. Am interviewing for directors. I. I have a switcher board.
Christy Lee
At any given moment. Yeah, it's like. Like when they go backstage at espn. You see all the screens. That's a. That's how much Chick Simply Saves system.
Tom Griswold
I get out of the car in the garage, I put the headphones on. All right, coming through four. Coming through four.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Up to five.
Christy Lee
It's like a scene in the TV.

Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. There's Josh Arnold.
Chick McGee
Hi there.
Tom Griswold
There's Christy Lee.
Josh Arnold
Hello.
Tom Griswold
She's at the SILAC insurance news desk. Pat Godwin has quit. Ace Cosby's here. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. And think, O'Reilly, for all your car care needs. Get the parts and service you need fast from the professional parts people at O'Reilly Auto Parts. I'm Chick. Hello, Tom.
Josh Arnold
It's a question everyone's asking, asking about Pat Godwin. Did he make it to Florida?
Christy Lee
I will find.
Tom Griswold
I don't know.
Christy Lee
I, I didn't see any.
Tom Griswold
It's even money that he didn't.
Christy Lee
Okay. All right. Once again, he's going to be in Theory at McCurdy's Comedy Club in Sarasota, Florida. Great spot coming up Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Tom Griswold
Or as they say it, at McCurdy's Sarasota.
Christy Lee
Oh, I don't get it.
Josh Arnold
It's an incredible inside thing. Oh, McCurdy Award.
Tom Griswold
Remember, be sure to visit the Visit Snaggletooth line.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I got you.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Christy Lee
Thank you very much. Chick and I arguing off the air about. Well, it started with Josh having a reasonable discussion about the incredible stunt work in the movie. In the movie. In the movie Mission Impossible.
Josh Arnold
I haven't seen it yet. I can't wait to see it.
Christy Lee
I had an anxiety dream list that I think because of the. There's a. I don't Won't give much away. There's a underwater scene in the movie that's really scary.
Tom Griswold
He can hold his cruise. Can hold his breath a crazy amount of time, right? Like nine, probably nine minutes or something.
Chick McGee
Now in this case. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I mean, I could. Anybody could hold their breath for an extended period of time if they had to.
Christy Lee
Stressful situation.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. But if you're stressed and you're swimming around.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, there's.
Christy Lee
But there's also. There's a, the. An aspect of nitrogen narcosis and some other issues, but it's, it's. I have a terrible time with being in a confined space.
Josh Arnold
You have claustrophobia.
Christy Lee
I one time took a tour of a naval vessel and I. Halfway through the tour, I had to get out. I had said, look, I'm sorry, how do I get out of here? I can't. But I saw this thing led to this anxiety dream, but we were talking about Mission Impossible and a chick mentioned something about his childhood. What were you saying again?
Tom Griswold
I love Mission Impossible. The TV show was the first, like, grown up movie TV show I watched.
Josh Arnold
I recall watching that.
Tom Griswold
Up until then it was Partridge Family or whatever it was, you know, I.
Christy Lee
Don'T know, but I just thought it was interesting. In the television version of Mission Impossible, pretty much each week it would be some sort of vaguely Eastern European dictatorship and they just happened to. The premier or the El Presidenti always looked much like Martin Landau, who was.
Josh Arnold
The star of the show, conveniently.
Christy Lee
And they always, they always, they, they also, in the countries, they conveniently spoke English, which was really handy.
Tom Griswold
And they spelled control with a K instead of a C. Yeah, yeah, they. But they didn't speak English.
Josh Arnold
No one would understand it.
Christy Lee
Well, I understand, but yet when you're a kid. But it all seems so reasonable as opposed to as ridiculous as it was. And then now the Mission Impossible movies, they're also. They're kind of fantasy. Wouldn't you agree with that? Wait a minute. This is the Mission Impossible theme. Sorry?
Tom Griswold
Oh, sorry, sir. On the air. I don't know where it is.
Christy Lee
There we go.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Now we have Tom Cruise as Martin Landau.
Chick McGee
Peter Graves, actually, the Ethan Hunt.
Josh Arnold
Oh, that's right.
Christy Lee
Yeah. But I mean, it's exciting and the movie, the stunts are unbelievable. It's very long. I will.
Tom Griswold
I kept waiting for Ethan Hunt's brother Michael to.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Why didn't they introduce him?
Tom Griswold
Enter. You know, be introduced into. So I have a trivia question for you and Helen. What?
Christy Lee
In the opening segments of Mission Impossible.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Barbara Bain was the I'm Barbara Brain. She was not that Bane.
Tom Griswold
Oh, she was wondered what would break first, your mind or your body?
Christy Lee
She was the. The lovely. One of the participants on the team, if you will. Do you remember the magazine cover she was on?
Tom Griswold
Elite.
Christy Lee
Very good.
Josh Arnold
Elite.
Chick McGee
It was like a sexy.
Tom Griswold
It was a sexy picture.
Christy Lee
They just showed this photograph of this magazine cover because she was a model.
Tom Griswold
The original. The original gang leader was Stephen Hill. And he couldn't.
Christy Lee
He was of the Jewish faith. He was not orthodox, and he could.
Tom Griswold
Not work as often as they wanted him.
Christy Lee
He couldn't work on certain days.
Chick McGee
Oh, no kidding.
Christy Lee
So he got replaced by Peter Grace.
Tom Griswold
But back then, racial prejudice was.
Christy Lee
Yes, it was a restricted course.
Tom Griswold
Salad days.
Christy Lee
But I remember, because I was a kid, I remember saying to my mom, she's the one on the COVID of Elight magazine.
Chick McGee
Elight, you don't know until you know, right?
Christy Lee
Elite probably is the name of a rapper.
Josh Arnold
And I think D Light is a.
Christy Lee
Who knows, Willie?
Tom Griswold
Peter Lupus was on some.
Christy Lee
I forget what.
Tom Griswold
The name of the weightlifting magazine, but he was on the COVID of a magazine too. I forget the name.
Josh Arnold
That's why the show was so big in our house, because Peter Lupus went to high school around the same time as my mom. My mom went to an all girls Catholic school, but he was in a school like around the corner.
Chick McGee
Oh, no kidding.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Your mom banged Peter Lupus and we're just all. I heard about finding out about it now.
Josh Arnold
I don't know if she did, but I know she wanted to.
Christy Lee
I'm not sure that would be okay. He was the weightlifting guy.
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Christy Lee
Okay, it's time now to get to listener mail. We like to communicate with you.
Tom Griswold
We have list listener mail.
Christy Lee
Oh, wait a minute. Could you take this away?
Tom Griswold
Listen, here we go. Listener mail had us a blast. Come on. That was great. Josh is loving it for two reasons.
Chick McGee
One, I. I think it's genuinely funny. And two, that has to have been. I. I can't believe he's. No. That's the first time throwing a stapler, right?
Tom Griswold
That's the first time I did it. He's shot. I do it tomorrow. He'll throw.
Chick McGee
You want to hear a little Tom speak? Tom?
Christy Lee
Yeah. What are you going here?
Chick McGee
James writes in Jim from down South.
Tom Griswold
Big Jim.
Chick McGee
He says, when my youngest son was just a little feller and spelled feller.
Josh Arnold
All right.
Chick McGee
We were visiting a local state park named Magnolia Springs. Are you guys familiar with that?
Tom Griswold
All right. I am not.
Chick McGee
They had a stuffed beaver under a table. So taxidermied all right. My little guy couldn't think of the word beaver, and he excitedly exclaimed, look, a grizzly dog. To this day, we all call beavers grizzly dogs.
Christy Lee
That is beautiful.
Tom Griswold
I mentioned this before. My daughter, when she was 3 or 4, the baby, she said mazagine instead of magazine. So it's mazagine at my house forever. And also, she. She misunderstood the body parts and she thought it was vagina with an F instead of Hilarious. Yeah.
Chick McGee
By the way, Jim says his little feller is now 15, stands six three, and weighs 255.
Josh Arnold
Oh, my.
Tom Griswold
Looking for a grizzly bear.
Josh Arnold
Whatever he wants.
Christy Lee
That's always weird when that happens to a friend of yours. But you haven't seen their kid for, you know, 15 years.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Hey, how's little Bobby? Holy hell.
Christy Lee
You seen Eddie's kid around here?
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Like, it was like, 6:12. What the hell?
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Or 7ft. Either way.
Chick McGee
My gosh. He's got to spend most of his days swatting it away.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
He spilled more than we ever seen.
Christy Lee
I'm so sorry. Let's see.
Tom Griswold
He has more under his nails than we.
Christy Lee
Okay. Yeah. Back to the letters. This is from Johnny. He goes, I apologize in advance to everyone. Except tomorrow.
Tom Griswold
Perfect.
Christy Lee
I work in Alabama and I commute to Tennessee. I was on my way home from work. I got behind a black SUV with the following tag.
Josh Arnold
Okay.
Christy Lee
M, R, S, J, O, N, E S. Oh, my.
Josh Arnold
God.
Chick McGee
So that would be. Mrs.
Tom Griswold
Thank you, christine. I forgot. No, Mrs. Jones, don't encourage him.
Christy Lee
Oh, that reminds me of that great song. Here Comes the List now, once again.
Tom Griswold
How'd you get that? Isolated.
Christy Lee
AI. But we. Isolated. Of course. The original me and Mrs. Jones. Very fine song.
Chick McGee
It is a good song.
Christy Lee
And I've always contended that there. That he lisps there. And it's charming, but if you listen to the isolated vocal, it's quite clear. Here it comes.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Myth. Me and myth. No, no. He says it's charming.
Josh Arnold
For those of you that have day.
Tom Griswold
I'm not sure, but you know what I've got?
Chick McGee
No. Because I enjoy Groundhog.
Tom Griswold
Guess what I have.
Chick McGee
Josh, what do you have over there?
Tom Griswold
Listener mail.
Chick McGee
The trouble you're causing.
Christy Lee
Thank you, Johnny. I'll have to explain it to him.
Tom Griswold
I'll have to explain. By the way, online work. Good morning, y'. All had to fly home to Philadelphia this past weekend. This is from Julia. I did so with incredible trepidation, fearful of an encounter with that fat bitch TSA agent. Now everybody's calling her that I had quite the opposite experience. Not only did I not have a dog bowl thrown at me, I was told to have a lovely day and a wonderful flight by two different TSA agents. It was quite a lovely experience.
Josh Arnold
Words gotten out.
Christy Lee
Maybe they gave him a lecture.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
On another note, the Phillies were playing the San Diego Padres. Therefore, Hugh Darvish was thrown about quite a bit. Every time the announcer said, you, Darvish, I said, me, check. At which point my brothers looked at me like I had lobsters coming out of my ears. Thanks, chick. Love you all. Welcome back, Josh.
Chick McGee
Oh, thank you.
Tom Griswold
Speaking of ears, Gulf Shores, Alabama, we're.
Christy Lee
Going to be talking about these in just a second. This comes to us from Matt in sunny California. Thanks for introducing me to the Raycon earbuds. I suffered through the expensive white earbuds for so long before switching to the Raycons. I feel like a jackass for not listening to you guys and trying them sooner. By the way, he writes, I'm a veteran of your show. I actually won the fix the joke baby segment.
Tom Griswold
Nice.
Christy Lee
With Bob Zany. Several years ago. I wore my T shirt, the one that I won that said eat Sam and the other pink meat. Man.
Chick McGee
I tried.
Christy Lee
I wore it until it was threadbare.
Chick McGee
Awesome. I would submit one every week.
Josh Arnold
You did?
Chick McGee
Yes.
Josh Arnold
Really?
Chick McGee
Never got one on.
Tom Griswold
Never.
Christy Lee
I find that. I find that's weird. Bob must never have read yours.
Josh Arnold
Or he was afraid because they were too good.
Christy Lee
Yeah. There you go. Another distinct possibility.
Josh Arnold
Good morning, show. This is from Shane in Louisville on Monday. Show. You talked about fake coyotes and owls that apartment complexes and marinas and stuff used to scare away the geese.
Christy Lee
They're using the fake coyotes that they're motorized on army bases to keep the birds away so the planes can safely take off and land. I think it's a great idea.
Josh Arnold
Well, my office building does this. Shane writes the geese literally sit down and hang out next to the plastic.
Chick McGee
They eventually get wise.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
But I want the ones that move. This may be the future.
Josh Arnold
That could be it.
Christy Lee
Because it's a huge problem at airports with these birds. But yeah, and I. You're. I saw one of those fake coyotes. There's a. At the kids park right over here.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
What?
Josh Arnold
There's one by the soccer field.
Christy Lee
Yeah, My kids fiberglass. Fiberglass coyotes. And then, of course, I saw a real coyote on my driveway the other day in the middle of the day. They're getting very bold.
Josh Arnold
I haven't seen one in a while.
Chick McGee
You saw him and he said, have you heard the Good news. Please take this copy of the Watchtower.
Tom Griswold
He's. He's risen. I'd like to announce that my Lululemons came in yesterday.
Josh Arnold
Y.
Tom Griswold
And I'm very excited. Tom and I now are short brothers. These are fabulous.
Chick McGee
You're wearing them now.
Christy Lee
I got. I got castigated because I don't ever wear shorts.
Tom Griswold
Underwear in them.
Christy Lee
I bought a pair of those at the mall because they have a zipper pocket.
Chick McGee
Back or side?
Christy Lee
Well, kind of. It's actually kind of halfway between the back and the side.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
And it's because I like to wear them on my bicycle, and I want to have a wallet that.
Tom Griswold
I like to wear them on my bicycle.
Christy Lee
And by the way, I got my new cell phone holder for my bike yesterday.
Tom Griswold
Cell phone.
Chick McGee
How about that?
Christy Lee
And my helmet liner. And my helmet liner.
Josh Arnold
Wait, so you can talk on the phone while you're riding your bike?
Tom Griswold
Nothing wrong. Gonna go. Yeah. You can listen to music.
Christy Lee
I can call for help.
Chick McGee
You can gps? Yeah.
Christy Lee
I also got a.
Tom Griswold
Have you learned nothing from co.
Christy Lee
I'll have to bring it in. I have to. I'll have to bring it in. I'm not sure I can get away with wearing it.
Josh Arnold
What's that?
Christy Lee
Well, I bought a helmet liner.
Josh Arnold
What's a helmet liner?
Tom Griswold
Oh, is it like a.
Christy Lee
It's a skull. It's a skull cap.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Josh Arnold
Why do you need that?
Tom Griswold
It's kind of like. Because it looks like the skull cat NFL players under there.
Christy Lee
Exactly. Because if you wear your helmet and then when you take it off, they're like, what are pressure points? So it looks like you've been hit with a hammer in your head in a couple spots.
Tom Griswold
Oh. Plus, you don't have any hair, but.
Christy Lee
Yeah, but I'm not sure a white gent such as myself can get away with wearing that. Just that. Without the helmet.
Josh Arnold
No.
Tom Griswold
You sure you can?
Josh Arnold
No.
Chick McGee
Who can? White guys do, though. Yeah, you never. You rarely see it.
Josh Arnold
I mean, why would you keep the.
Tom Griswold
Sun out of your.
Chick McGee
Right, right.
Christy Lee
I mean, I wear it with a helmet on top of it.
Tom Griswold
Keeps his bangs out of it.
Josh Arnold
Why don't you just wear a helmet over your ball cap?
Tom Griswold
Do they make a skull cap that has a ponytail hanging off the back? That's what you should get.
Christy Lee
Oh, nice.
Tom Griswold
Yes, sir. Ponytail guys.
Christy Lee
Scullet looks.
Chick McGee
You know what, Tom? I've developed a new rumor, if you will, about baldness.
Christy Lee
What's that?
Chick McGee
Because, you know, I'm. I identify now as a bald man. And for every woman that you have Pleased in your life. They say you lose one hair. Oh, should we start? We need to start that.
Tom Griswold
That's an amazing rumor.
Christy Lee
Yes, that is. That's Wilt Chamberlain numbers. In my case, it may be maybe a square inch.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah.
Christy Lee
You want to modify. It's a great idea, though. I think it's a good idea.
Chick McGee
I'd look like Carrot Top.
Christy Lee
We can. We can work on it and turn it into a concept. And then even more precision. We can make it a notion.
Chick McGee
Pack it later on.
Christy Lee
Notion full unpack it.
Chick McGee
Okay, good. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Okay, so I know there's. They're studying it on the north campus of Southeastern West University right now. I want to talk about Better Help. The Bob and Tom show is brought to you by Better Help right now. And this is a terrific idea. The idea is accessing therapy in a much more elegant way, by which I mean an easy way, because the therapy is done online. So you can do it wherever you are at your convenience because it's done online. It's kind of like a zoom call, or even you can make it like a phone call, whatever you want. What I'm talking about is accessing therapy through the program known as Better Help. We've talked about the program of kicking the stigma. It's okay. Hey, it's smart, actually, to talk to a therapist. And BetterHelp features more than 30,000 therapists and more than 5 million people have taken advantage of BetterHelp all around the world. And by the way, this is kind of interesting. Their app store has a rating of 4.9 out of 5, and that's from nearly 2 million reviews. So find out why people like it by visiting the largest online therapy provider in the world. It's called Better Help, and it'll give you access to mental health professionals. And by the way, they have a diverse sort of sphere of fields of expertise, if you will, if that makes sense. So if you got a particular thing, they can fix you up with someone who knows a lot about that. And you can always switch therapists anytime. No, no extra fees are involved. So unwind from maybe you got work stress or whatever it might be. And Bob and Tom show listeners get 10% off their first month by visiting betterhelp.com BT Show Once again, it's Better Help. I'll try to enunciate Better Help. H e l p betterhelp.com BTShow coming up. Can you talk to your dog? I know I do all the time. We have some science about that. An unusual place for adult toys to be sold. And stolen sleep divorce in the news. And I am morons with World Records new feature. Oh, and then also the Cinderella Rule. Anybody anybody heard of it?
Josh Arnold
I had not heard of it till I read the story.
Christy Lee
Yeah, it's truly d. That's why we're bringing it to you from the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios, where this remains the Bob and Tom Show. This is the Bob and Tom Show.

Christy Lee
How are you doing? Just fine, thank you very much. Coming up later today, one of my favorites, comedian Joe Dombrowski.
Chick McGee
Very funny.
Christy Lee
Oh, my God, that guy's just terrific. We have Mr. Pat Godwin is, we think, ensconced somewhere near Sarasota, Florida, right now getting ready for a whole series of shows at McCurdy's Comedy Club, which would be great if you're down in that area. Please go see Patience Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday for some great life.
Josh Arnold
We think he made it.
Christy Lee
Great live comedy.
Josh Arnold
We think we he made it to Florida.
Christy Lee
Yeah, we would have heard.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, we would have. You're right.
Christy Lee
But. Or maybe not. Maybe he's disappeared. We have some letters we have to get to before we get to the sports page. We do have some exciting things coming up in the news. Did you have something over there you wanted to share with us?
Tom Griswold
Well, if we're going to do listener mail, we have.
Christy Lee
Explained you why I hate.
Josh Arnold
Why do you hate it?
Tom Griswold
Lister Mail had a supply.
Josh Arnold
You've never even watched Greece. How can you hate something you don't even know?
Christy Lee
I hate it for technical reasons.
Tom Griswold
Dear Chick, I'm J.D. from Homedale, Idaho. 1st yes, J.D. what you going to do?
Christy Lee
What?
Tom Griswold
I think I could stay with you.
Chick McGee
Little Pure Prairie League for that S.
Tom Griswold
First yes, please come to Idaho. Second I wanted to give you a shout out on that idea that you had. It's absolutely a game changer. I. First of all, I need to tell you I sweat just watching other people sweat.
Chick McGee
Oh really?
Tom Griswold
So the other day when you had mentioned that you did your major transactions without your shirt on, well, I decided to give it a go. Dot, dot, dot. Mind blown. Absolute game changer. Thanks for all the laughs and. Oh, hello, Tom.
Christy Lee
What is this? I don't understand.
Chick McGee
He was just telling Chickster that you weren't.
Tom Griswold
You weren't listening probably.
Chick McGee
He loved having a major transaction with his shirt off.
Josh Arnold
He usually sweats in that process and he never thought about taking his shirt off.
Tom Griswold
Big time sweater. And he had no idea that you could take your shirt off in the toilet it like I do.
Christy Lee
Do you do that here?
Tom Griswold
Here? Sometimes.
Chick McGee
Oh, no kidding.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Well, that door has a lock on it.
Chick McGee
Sure.
Tom Griswold
You change your shirt every morning two or three times. Why can't I take my shirt off and put it back on in one of our bathrooms?
Christy Lee
So are you the one. Because the. I noticed there are hooks now on the inside of those doors.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I installed those.
Josh Arnold
No, been there since we.
Tom Griswold
I think it's probably some sort of OSHA thing that they have to be there.
Christy Lee
Probably.
Josh Arnold
Well, I have to hang my purse there when I.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Josh Arnold
I'm getting ready to leave. Or hang a shirt.
Tom Griswold
You think she holds it on her lap?
Chick McGee
Your purse was in the sink. Ah, the classic.
Christy Lee
Wonderful joke that is so obscure. I wish we could explain. Got a correction. Apparently I was. Do you have the hello, fancy vest James? Excuse me, John Wayne quote?
Tom Griswold
I did, but I took it down because.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Tom Griswold
You were irritated.
Christy Lee
Hello. Apparently it's a John Wayne apparently dancing around. No, I mean the situation. Apparently he's dancing around the.
Chick McGee
Oh yeah, we've. We've decided that the producers went, hey, John, we know what you want to say.
Tom Griswold
Hang on.
Chick McGee
Let's just switch it.
Christy Lee
Yeah, fancy vest.
Tom Griswold
Let's try it again. Okay. Hey, fancy vest.
Josh Arnold
I mean, what does that guy's best look like? I'm excited to see Now I really.
Chick McGee
Don'T think it has much to do with the guy's vest.
Christy Lee
Vest. Something that started with okay, it. He goes. I love hearing the hey, fancy vest quote. I think it's from the movie El Dorado, not Chism.
Tom Griswold
No, no, no, it absolutely is from El Dorado. Okay. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Somebody gave up looking for quotes from Chisum and just threw that.
Chick McGee
I would have as well.
Tom Griswold
Oh sure. Any clear thinking human being would not not keep looking for quotes from Chisholm.
Christy Lee
And that was in the news because of the Home Run Derby. Is that correct?
Tom Griswold
Jazz Chisholm. Which didn't end up. I don't think he ended up competing. He certainly didn't advance.
Christy Lee
I know that there's a baseball player who's got the really cool name of Jazz Chisholm.
Josh Arnold
Right.
Chick McGee
Jerry Lewis. Name him.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Jazz Chisholm Cosby there, didn't I?
Christy Lee
And his. And he is, if I correct in saying he's Jazz Chisholm Jr. Really? Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I don't know.
Christy Lee
It's a. He's got a really, really cool family name.
Tom Griswold
Chisholm.
Christy Lee
And it's not. It's not spelled. It's like Chisholm or something. I don't know.
Tom Griswold
But it's spelled like Chisholm is spelled. C H I S O L M. Chisholm.
Christy Lee
Okay. But he's. He was in the Home Run Derby. I'm trying to find his real name for you. Oh, here it is. He's from Nassau, Bahamas. Which is. Which is pretty cool. And he spells it as you say C H I S H O L M. But Mr. Chisholm, that led us to the nicknames. When your first name is Jazz Chisholm, you know.
Chick McGee
Oh man.
Christy Lee
But third, fourth grade, they pick up on that.
Chick McGee
Oh, that seems early.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, right.
Christy Lee
I don't think sadly in our culture, things with the Internet now.
Chick McGee
Yeah, maybe this.
Christy Lee
The stupidity of. The stupidity of seventh graders has trickled down to the. The fourth grade and in our case, trickled up to all of us. Hey, fancy Vesta. That was in honor of Jazz Chisholm junior. Such a beautiful name though.
Chick McGee
Jason writes in, he says, reminding us Robert England. Christie, you remember who Robert England is?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, we interviewed him for the podcast, didn't we?
Chick McGee
Oh, you know what? We interviewed Kane Hodder.
Josh Arnold
Oh, but it's the same thing. He was Robert England was a Friday the 13th.
Chick McGee
He was Freddie.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
In the Nightmare on Elm Street.
Josh Arnold
Oh, that's right. I'm terrible at horror movies.
Chick McGee
Oh, no, no, it's okay.
Christy Lee
He.
Chick McGee
He's getting his Hollywood walk of fame star Nice. On hot on Halloween. That's right. Yes. Well, how Maybe Tom will send me out there to be there for the ceremony.
Christy Lee
I'm doing only spend a month out there. Those shows last week were awesome.
Tom Griswold
Oh my God.
Christy Lee
Which was the best one though?
Tom Griswold
I don't know.
Christy Lee
I think that when we had both Willie and Oscar.
Tom Griswold
It's hard to change.
Josh Arnold
I mean it takes two people to rep to just those two.
Chick McGee
Of course they're gonna better than anything.
Christy Lee
We still had more snacks in the green Room.
Chick McGee
No grocery runs last week.
Tom Griswold
Dear Bob and Tom Show.
Christy Lee
Wait a second.
Chick McGee
There's a correlation.
Christy Lee
By the way, Christy, in case you have another baby and you want to give him a cool name. Yeah. This time a boy. His name is Jazraldo Prince ermes Arrington Chisholm Jr. What? I mean, that is a great name.
Tom Griswold
His first name is Jazz.
Christy Lee
J A S R A D. Okay, that is a beautiful name.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Maybe I should have one more kid.
Tom Griswold
Jazz Roto.
Josh Arnold
Yes, that's what you need.
Christy Lee
One more number eight.
Chick McGee
Oh, I love Jazz Roto with Parmesan.
Christy Lee
Can you imagine if I said to.
Josh Arnold
Kelly, you gotta have an even number?
Christy Lee
Hey, Kelly, what do you think if we have a little boy, we could name him Jazz Roto?
Chick McGee
Kelly.
Tom Griswold
Hung up on you by now.
Christy Lee
Wait a minute. She's in my rear view mirror.
Tom Griswold
Dear Bob at Top Show. My name is Carl. Carl. I live in Carrie, Ohio. The large beaver you talked about yesterday.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah. Giant beaver.
Christy Lee
It was. The state of Minnesota has made it their official fossil. But the name has the word Ohio. The Latin name has the word Ohio in it.
Tom Griswold
That large beaver was found in a cave near an underground river just five miles from my hometown, Cary, Ohio.
Christy Lee
Oh, ergo, it's. It's castoroid, Ohio. Ennis is the name.
Josh Arnold
Castoroidus Ohioanis.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
The beaver skeleton.
Chick McGee
What is it about beavers and cast? Because that Isn't it Castorum or whatever the hell yeah.
Josh Arnold
That comes from.
Christy Lee
Tastes like vanilla.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Comes out of beavers. So there's some Latin thing there.
Tom Griswold
Who decided to taste that?
Chick McGee
Oh, no kidding.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that's. Isn't it some. It's some, like, goo that oozes out.
Chick McGee
Of beavers that the anus comes out of their.
Josh Arnold
It's like anal glands. Yeah, like when you express your dog.
Christy Lee
But it tastes like vanilla and. I'm with Chick. What? I guess they must have been smoking pot back in caveman days. Hey, Grog, I'm really hungry. Taste that. Taste that. Anal leakage. See if it tastes like ice cream.
Chick McGee
I mean, I guess back in the day, they. They ate all of it to see what was indeed edible.
Christy Lee
And there had to be. There had to be.
Josh Arnold
What about the misses There had.
Christy Lee
There had to be experiments that missed. Yeah. I tell you, I made a nice mushroom pizza. Hello. Okay, we'll call that Australian pizza. Coming up, we have. Can you talk to your dog? We have that and. Oh, an update on that France thing with Escape Prisoner.
Tom Griswold
The year the Big Dumper and Big Daddy Dumper and Baby Dumper. They're all All Star Game. Here we go.
Christy Lee
And no more T shirts from this show. We're gonna come out with fancy vests.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Christy Lee

Tom Griswold
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. Christy Lee at the Silac Insurance news desk.
Josh Arnold
Hello.
Tom Griswold
Hello indeed. There's Jeff Oskay. Hey, man. Hey, buddy. You all right?
Jeff Oskay
I'm great.
Tom Griswold
All right, sir. There's Josh Arnold.
Chick McGee
That's me on the harp.
Tom Griswold
You're killing it.
Chick McGee
Thank you. I was, my mentor was the guy from Ozark Mountain, Daredevil.
Tom Griswold
Oh yeah, that's Ace Cosby. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. I'm Chick. Hello, Tom.
Christy Lee
Hello, Chick McGee. Coming up, I got an update on that French thing where the guy. Remember we had the story yesterday. This guy escaped from a prison in France in a. In his cellmate duffel bag in his cellmate's suitcase.
Tom Griswold
This guy has to be like 3:3:5, weighs 88 pounds.
Chick McGee
No kidding.
Christy Lee
But again we were saying in every prison movie when you get out of prison you, you go to the clerk and you know, he hands you. Okay. Gar case. It's an envelope usually Frank Oz.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
One used.
Josh Arnold
Did they find the guy?
Christy Lee
Yeah. Oh, okay, here's the update. A 20 year old inmate at the Leon Corba prison.
Tom Griswold
I nailed it.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Who knows? They didn't notice he was missing for 24 hours. They described the prison escape as an accumulation of errors. But the guy was serving multiple sentences and for I just say organized crime activities. But apparently he somehow was transported in a bag his of his cellmate. So now it appears he has been. He has been found. But they, they knew that he was. I guess, I'm sorry, but the guy that went, that, that also went out has not been recaptured. So in any event they're making a movie out of it. I don't know if you've seen it. The Samsonite Redemption.
Chick McGee
Oh, well, that'll be.
Christy Lee
In which case.
Tom Griswold
Well, you know, the first call is Dinklage.
Christy Lee
Yeah, because that would make sense.
Tom Griswold
You got to get Dinklage.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, little guy.
Tom Griswold
Get me Dinklage.
Christy Lee
That's an. I wonder, do they. I mean, are there a lot of very small people in prison?
Chick McGee
Well, there must be some.
Jeff Oskay
Right?
Christy Lee
But do they go to a regular sized prison?
Josh Arnold
Well, yes, Tom. They don't have a little people's prison.
Chick McGee
There's not like a.
Christy Lee
Wouldn't that be a prison?
Tom Griswold
You think they hold them in dog cages, don't they? I don't know.
Christy Lee
I mean, no offense intended. There's, you know, that great. That great Western where it's an entire cast of little people.
Tom Griswold
Terror and tiny town.
Christy Lee
Terror and tiny town.
Tom Griswold
That's right. Right.
Christy Lee
I wonder if they ever made, like, a prison movie like that.
Tom Griswold
And, you know, all the. The entire cast are small, little people and they ride shuttling ponies.
Chick McGee
Yes. I mean, I've seen it.
Tom Griswold
Absolutely.
Chick McGee
They show it on Turner Classic Movies once every couple years.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, they do.
Christy Lee
Is that a triumphant poor taste or is that okay? I think. I mean, it's the. Give. Get some.
Tom Griswold
I think anybody in the movie will tell you there were.
Christy Lee
They got a nice paycheck.
Josh Arnold
They had a job, Right?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, it's like the dwarf tossing thing.
Chick McGee
I read something about little people yesterday.
Josh Arnold
You did?
Chick McGee
Yes. In 1940, Walt Disney for the release of Pinocchio. Are you aware of this?
Tom Griswold
I heard this. Yeah, go ahead.
Chick McGee
He hired 11 little people to dress as Pinocchio and wave at people at the premiere. So they're sort of on top of the marquee, this big theater, and they're all in these Pinocchio costumes.
Tom Griswold
They're up there all day.
Chick McGee
They left them on a balcony with enough food and wine for the day. But by late afternoon, they were all naked because the costumes were so hot.
Tom Griswold
So hot.
Chick McGee
And they were hammered on the wine.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Chick McGee
And they just devolved into screaming swear words at people.
Christy Lee
Why is this not a scene in a movie?
Chick McGee
I mean, that.
Christy Lee
Yeah, this would be a great, wonderful, wonderful, random scene in some movie. In the middle of something, they drive by. I heard there was a bunch of naked guys up there.
Tom Griswold
I think they were throwing the wine bottles, too. Yeah, yeah.
Chick McGee
Take your family to the premiere of this new cartoon. And there are 11 little people just hushing at you.
Christy Lee
You know, by the way, back to the French thing, this is under dispute. If they've got. If they've caught the guy. So I Don't know if they got him or not, Christy. This one story says they did. This one says they still at large, so we'll have to keep up to date with it.
Jeff Oskay
At large is.
Christy Lee
Oh, ironic, really. At large. A good point. That's the voice of Jeff Oskay.
Chick McGee
Hi.
Christy Lee
It's my understanding, Jeffrey, you have a story about you're guarding or you're babysitting past Pat's dog, right?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. Pat and his son are on vacation, and they brought the dog by yesterday. And we're watching little Brody.
Chick McGee
Yeah, very nice.
Jeff Oskay
The dog is, uh, just like Patrick, very, very horny. It's humping.
Josh Arnold
Everything has not been fixed.
Jeff Oskay
No, it's about, apparently a month away from being fixed, but it is. It's humping everything, and it's lifting its leg. It's going to mark around the house.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Wall.
Jeff Oskay
Pat and his son were there, and he goes, but nothing comes out. And nothing did come out. Like it came up to the couch and hoisted his leg, but nothing came out. The second Pat and a son walk out to their car, the dog walks up to my girlfriend, lifts his leg, and just pees down her leg. Down her skirt.
Chick McGee
I laughed so hard, the dog was like, well, this is mine.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, this is mine now.
Tom Griswold
I want her.
Jeff Oskay
I'll take her.
Chick McGee
What are you gonna do about it, buddy?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, look me right in the eye. As I seen on my lady.
Tom Griswold
Let's see how you can piss on her. Let's see. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Oh. Oh, man.
Chick McGee
Amazing.
Jeff Oskay
The dogs are great. It's humping the heck out of my other two dogs, but my other two dogs seem to not.
Christy Lee
Are they neutered?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
And.
Jeff Oskay
And the dog comes up to about halfway up their leg.
Josh Arnold
I was gonna say he's a little guy.
Christy Lee
Oh, okay.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, Pat's got a little yappy dog. There's a surprise.
Christy Lee
Well, I just found out that if you are extraordinarily small of stature, technically a little person, you do not go to a special prison.
Tom Griswold
Is that right?
Chick McGee
Well, we.
Josh Arnold
Well, of course we knew that because.
Christy Lee
We'Re saying individuals and by the way.
Jeff Oskay
Where did you find that?
Josh Arnold
God, did you have to.
Jeff Oskay
What was your Google search?
Christy Lee
A little chat.
Tom Griswold
Please, just go ahead and say what your Google search was. You're among friends.
Chick McGee
You know, there's an M in it.
Christy Lee
I may have used the M word word in prison.
Chick McGee
Do you remember Dunkin Donuts used to use that word. Oh, for their donut holes. Right. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
And Tootsie Roll still uses Midgie.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Christy Lee
Yeah, well, there's a. There Was an automobile. I just saw one on my bike ride the other day. The MG Midget.
Tom Griswold
Yep, yep. When I was a kid.
Christy Lee
That's legit. I mean that's killed for one of those. Proper use of the word. Yeah. God, no kidding. In the back in the day, that.
Tom Griswold
Was the sports, the midget and the mgb. And he was a little bigger. Oh, man.
Christy Lee
Yeah. But those smaller stature that are convicted of serious crimes, they still call it the big house.
Chick McGee
Well, I guess they call the very big house.
Christy Lee
I guess they call everything they. Sorry. You know, when I was at this point, when I was in England a couple of weeks ago, this is kind of cool. I saw a. Did I tell you this? I saw an Aston Martin.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
And I was. I looked up and I was on Bond Street.
Chick McGee
No way.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I got a picture. I got a photograph.
Tom Griswold
All right. You, you raving boar.
Jeff Oskay
Were you wearing your Lululemons?
Tom Griswold
Hey, you wear.
Christy Lee
You get these.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, I forgot that you now are part of the club.
Christy Lee
We call it the PC.
Tom Griswold
Oh, you will never take them off. Them off they are. They feel like I ain't wearing nothing.
Jeff Oskay
Dude, if I paid a hundred dollars for a pair of shorts, I would never take them off. You're right.
Tom Griswold
I don't know 80s I'm like, there we go.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, same difference.
Christy Lee
But they're caressing your. Your sack, aren't they? Yeah, they're very nice.
Tom Griswold
Real nice.
Jeff Oskay
Man, I'm so disappointed in both of you.
Christy Lee
And by the way, Chick, if you sit just the right way, it will. It will emboss the logo on your balls.
Chick McGee
Oh, how about that?
Christy Lee
It's very impressive.
Tom Griswold
I must do that. I simply must do that.
Chick McGee
That. Are you a shorts guy, Jeff? I can't remember.
Jeff Oskay
Not. Not around people.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that's how I am.
Jeff Oskay
I try to keep the.
Chick McGee
Is that. Was your dad the same way?
Jeff Oskay
No, my dad used to wear cut off jean shorts.
Chick McGee
Oh yeah.
Jeff Oskay
One of those guys.
Tom Griswold
Is your dad the one that would get into a rowboat in shorts? You could see his balls. Is that you?
Jeff Oskay
No, it's not me, but yes, you could have if you.
Chick McGee
My dad was the same way.
Tom Griswold
Oh, that might have been Jess.
Chick McGee
He rarely wore shorts, but when he did, did denim.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah, denim, sure.
Chick McGee
It must be a generational.
Christy Lee
That was. They were very big. About 1965.
Chick McGee
Okay. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Cutoffs where they would fringe.
Tom Griswold
I plainly cutting off jeans. The cutoffs. Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Christy Lee
And.
Chick McGee
But they look good on girls.
Christy Lee
Just the other day I. I saw a young lady with those. But. And also like several tears in them. Yeah, Deliberate. You know they spend 100 bucks for a pair of ripped up, beat up jeans.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah. What are you talking about?
Chick McGee
Nothing I give to that charity.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Girls without ripped up denim shorts.
Jeff Oskay
Did it have where the pockets were hanging out the bottom?
Josh Arnold
That's what you want.
Chick McGee
You gotta have that.
Tom Griswold
Let me ask you something, Tom. Have you ever been with a significant other, walking in a mall somewhere or down the street and she has her hand in your back pocket and you have your hand and her back pocket?
Christy Lee
No, I have not.
Tom Griswold
Boy, you, you simply must do that.
Chick McGee
You'll often see it at your lesser amusement parks or.
Josh Arnold
Or at the county fair.
Chick McGee
You're more dangerous at your Alabama concerts. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
It's kind of an urban cowboy kind of thing.
Tom Griswold
Feels so right.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, buddy.
Josh Arnold
And did that, I'm sure.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
They did a carnival in a store parking lot.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Chick McGee
Boy, that's become more and more regular. Like every mall I pass, there's like a circus tent. Yeah. What is going on?
Tom Griswold
When I was a kid, the fourth of July in London, Ohio, the main street, they shut it down and put up carnival rides.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
It was called the Stay Home and Live festival.
Chick McGee
How about that?
Tom Griswold
What they were worried about traffic accidents and things.
Chick McGee
But you loved it.
Tom Griswold
But we loved it. Yeah. We walk downtown and be on a. A fair ride.
Chick McGee
Those, those rides were as thrilling as anything because they were put up overnight.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Driven 12 hours. Now they're assembling on no sleep.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
The paratrooper, remember, the paratrooper swings down.
Chick McGee
They often swayed.
Tom Griswold
Oh yeah.
Christy Lee
Frayed rubbery cables. Rusty, rusty bolts. A lot of tattoos. Cigarettes. Man, those were all guy with an eye patch. Okay, this looks safe. Okay, that reminds me. Get the parts and service you need fast from the professional parts people at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Christy and Jeff and Josh and Ace. I'm Chick. Hello, Tom.
Christy Lee
Okay, I got my homework done here. I gotta clarify something. We had a little bit of a controversy. There we go. From the French prison. We had the big story yesterday. The guy was snuck out of the prison in his cellmate's duffel bag, as.
Josh Arnold
You said, Christy, but it turns out it was his laundry bag, which makes a little more sense.
Chick McGee
It does make more sense why it would be going right.
Christy Lee
They caught him.
Chick McGee
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
They did catch him. But yeah, the original story said it was in his life. The escapee was in his cellmate's luggage.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, no, I found that story too, but it says it was his Laundry bag. But the guy that I guess just was carrying the laundry bag has not been found.
Christy Lee
Yeah, his cellmate. His cellmate quote, remains at large.
Tom Griswold
Didn't we have a story similar to this where they found the guy in the bag at a baggage claim at an airport?
Chick McGee
No way.
Josh Arnold
What did I remember that?
Christy Lee
Did I dream this could be.
Tom Griswold
Maybe.
Christy Lee
In any event, it was just so funny because at first the story said it was in his and I couldn't imagine what who gets out of prison and gets handed their luggage?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, no joke.
Chick McGee
Okay. We even mentioned. Hey, you know, sometimes you hear about it with laundry.
Christy Lee
But did you have your Louis Vuitton suitcase when you checked into prison?
Tom Griswold
And when you leave, you get the to me hold all. Very nice.
Christy Lee
It sits.
Josh Arnold
I love my to me backpack. Carry it all the time.
Christy Lee
I noticed while traveling recently everyone has the exact same suitcase that I have now.
Josh Arnold
Well, what do you have?
Christy Lee
I don't know. I didn't. I. Kelly. Got it. So it's. It's one of those.
Tom Griswold
Are you trying.
Christy Lee
It's got the four wheels on it.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, sure.
Chick McGee
Multi directional.
Josh Arnold
That's almost. Do you think suitcases now.
Christy Lee
I know, but I mean, I think.
Tom Griswold
You came up with that.
Christy Lee
No, no, I didn't. No, I said everyone has the same one.
Tom Griswold
Everyone has the same.
Josh Arnold
Is that a hard shell?
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah. No, I'm saying. And it's designed to fit in the.
Josh Arnold
Thing and what color is it?
Christy Lee
I forget. I don't even know.
Josh Arnold
You don't know what color your luggage is? How do you.
Christy Lee
It's dark blue or green? Black. I don't know. I put. I put some. I had. I. There's this place where you can get these luggage tags made. You take any. Any photograph.
Tom Griswold
There's a place. Go ahead.
Christy Lee
These are. These are fantastic. You take a photograph and you. And you send it to them digitally.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
And then they make luggage tags with that picture on it.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
All right.
Christy Lee
Well, if it's coming down the thing, I go look, hey, look, there's a picture of the girls.
Jeff Oskay
Poor people out there. You can just take a piece of ribbon and tie it to the handle some color that you.
Christy Lee
I think these things were like eight for six dollars. And that's. They're not expensive.
Tom Griswold
The way you do it, Jeff, with the ribbon. You don't have pictures of your kids on it. So when they steal your luggage, they won't know where to look for your kids.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
So.
Chick McGee
Yeah, I don't. I don't like any. Anything like that on my suitcase. And I don't think anybody else should have it. I like the game of. Is that one mine or not?
Tom Griswold
I do like the game, and I.
Chick McGee
Love watching people pick up a bag and then have to put it back on.
Christy Lee
You may find this hard to believe. I have picked up a bag.
Tom Griswold
Of course you have.
Christy Lee
And gotten all the way to the door of the place with a guy chasing me going, oh, sir, that's mine.
Josh Arnold
I'm sure.
Chick McGee
I do believe that.
Christy Lee
I absolutely have done that.
Jeff Oskay
How many. How far were you from the thing?
Christy Lee
Oh, 30, 40 yards. Absolutely. I mean, that is this way. Now I've got.
Jeff Oskay
I have to jog after you.
Christy Lee
Yeah. But now I'm. I've got these special tags, so I know it's mine. I like it, but I need to. I was just trying to decide. I need to put, like, a. Some weird sticker on it so it's even more clear that, well, if you're.
Josh Arnold
Not checking it, it doesn't really matter.
Chick McGee
Personalized luggage tags not enough.
Christy Lee
No. I was thinking of something that. So as it's coming. As it's coming around the carousel and what. I was thinking of getting one of those things that they put on nuclear weapons. So it implies. It implies that it's radioactive.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
You think the TSA lady got mad at you before?
Christy Lee
Yeah. And I would like to have. I'd like to have one of those lifeguards. You know those lifeguard stands where they're, like, you know, 10ft off the pool?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I'd like to have those installs at baggage claim. And the person would tell people that they get up there with their entire family waiting for their bags, crowding out the place. Okay. One person per family is allowed up there to get the bags.
Tom Griswold
So he's up there with a visor and sunglasses.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
And tell him zinc oxide on his nose.
Christy Lee
Hey, get the little. Get the rugrats. Back them off.
Tom Griswold
A megaphone.
Chick McGee
I know. I like. I want anarchy. I like it. I like the chaos. I want it to all. I want it to be a mess. If.
Jeff Oskay
If I built you a lifeguard stand for your home pool, would you use it like, 10?
Tom Griswold
It would look just like the lifeguard.
Jeff Oskay
Stand in the Umbrella, the Ladder, and Life.
Josh Arnold
So it looks. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
In the movie Lifeguard with Sam Elliott.
Josh Arnold
Oh, I love that movie.
Tom Griswold
That lifeguard.
Christy Lee
You've been in my house. The way the pool is like a stairway. So I could have the lifeguard just sit there.
Josh Arnold
I'm actually his house.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I've. I'm. I'm.
Jeff Oskay
We're friends.
Christy Lee
I'm I'm. I'm planning a little disco afternoon for the girls. Hiring a DJ to come over for a pool party. But. But in order to do that safely, I'm actually hiring a life. Couple of lifeguards. Well, that's good because when you've got 15 kids swimming.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Why not?
Christy Lee
Yeah, so that'll. But I don't need a lifeguard stand. They can.
Chick McGee
Are you. Boy, I've never been up on one of those, but I can't imagine being comfortable just because I kind of have a fear of heights. Isn't it just like sitting on a ladder? I'm sure it's a little sturdier.
Christy Lee
It's like sitting on a ladder if it were in a pizza oven, as a general rule. Pretty toasty up there. Check local listings. Boy, that's a tough gig. Because the reason it's so hard these days is you can't have your cell phone. That's good if you're a lifeguard. No, but I mean, hang on. 99% of people working today are. Have a cell phone right by their hand and they're looking at it constantly.
Tom Griswold
Hang on, I gotta go. Someone's yelling.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
On the phone.
Chick McGee
Did I run.
Christy Lee
Did I run the two screen thing by you already?
Josh Arnold
Huh?
Christy Lee
This is. I was. My niece is, among other things, produces television commercials.
Tom Griswold
Is this another harebrained idea?
Christy Lee
No, this isn't a hairbrained idea. I'd never heard this before and I don't think I have my phone around here.
Chick McGee
Probably in the microwave.
Tom Griswold
Probably out laying by his car in the parking lot.
Chick McGee
Cut to the toaster popping and phone comes out.
Christy Lee
Have you heard this? This.
Tom Griswold
Please leave a message.
Christy Lee
This notion that now when you're. When you're cutting whatever movies or whatever, right, you have to think in terms of two screens. Like if you're people. People that are. There's a word for it. There's a name for the thing. I don't know what it is. Is when people are watching television now, they're also watching something on their phone at the same time, simultaneously. So you're supposed to edit conscious of the fact that to keep their attention, you're competing with the little guy right next to you. Does that make sense?
Chick McGee
Weird. But that's interesting.
Christy Lee
That's actually a notion in the realm of actual editing.
Tom Griswold
I don't think I'd want to. I'd want to watch a movie and watch my phone at the same time. I don't think I'd do that.
Christy Lee
But people are doing it. That's why? They're.
Tom Griswold
I mean, I, I, you know, there's. We were just talking about this off the air. There's a thing called Raw Dog in a movie where you're not allowed to look up anything about the movie as you're watching it. And you're not allowed to pause. You're just supposed to go through it.
Christy Lee
That's part of this whole thing.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, and I don't think I can always do that.
Josh Arnold
You guys look at your phone during the movie.
Tom Griswold
I don't think.
Chick McGee
I don't either. But I'm a nerd. Yeah, most people are.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that'd be really dumb. I'll do. I'll stop and look at up members of the cast.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah, I do that all the time.
Chick McGee
I'll do it afterwards.
Josh Arnold
I will do it afterwards. I looked up that Charlie guy in the. Because I didn't know who. Charlie. Is it Bowman or Charlie Borman? Borman. I didn't know who he was.
Christy Lee
He's the. His. His dad is the great film director that made the movie Deliverance. Yes.
Tom Griswold
Hey, Josh, what you just heard are Mr. And Mrs. Bore at their latest.
Christy Lee
No, no, she's talking about all the way down.
Tom Griswold
You and McGregor.
Christy Lee
Yeah, it's a great, great show.
Josh Arnold
Nice little travel show.
Tom Griswold
Oddly, his name's Borman.
Josh Arnold
I didn't know who he was.
Tom Griswold
I didn't know he was.
Josh Arnold
Very entertaining.
Christy Lee
Very good guy now.
Tom Griswold
Well, he's got a good act. Look at him.
Christy Lee
I would. I would highly recommend the new one with Ewan McGregor, Charlie Borman. It's a documentary. What's it called? All the Way. Is it all the Way Down? I can't remember which one.
Josh Arnold
All the Way Home or something. Long way Home.
Christy Lee
Well, now we're gonna have to go the long way to the world of sports.
Tom Griswold
We got one more letter, though.
Christy Lee
Oh, go ahead.
Tom Griswold
Hey, Bob and Tom show. Can I get the I quit sound clip? I need a new ringtone for when I'm at work.
Chick McGee
I quit.
Tom Griswold
We can try to make that happen somehow, right?
Christy Lee
I. That sounds out of my spirit.
Josh Arnold
It's Long Way Home is the name of this.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Tom Griswold
This is Mary from Augusta, Wisconsin. I love listening to your show. My mom was a mail carrier with Augusta's post office office for 35 plus years. Wow. She delivered many, many baby chicks on her route.
Chick McGee
No kidding.
Tom Griswold
Including our house.
Josh Arnold
Oh.
Christy Lee
What is that all about?
Tom Griswold
We were talking about Alfie not buying baby chicks.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah. That's a bad idea.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Let's see.
Christy Lee
By the way, is there something going on in the world or are there more rabbits than I've ever seen in my life?
Chick McGee
You know, you've been as insane as.
Tom Griswold
You sound and it's finally gotten on the air and I'm glad because I've seen more rabbits.
Christy Lee
I don't know what's happening. Check local listings. There are rabbits everywhere.
Chick McGee
I just heard it. It was one of those things where your kids are trying to capture them.
Josh Arnold
Right.
Chick McGee
And so they're more in your mind. I don't know.
Tom Griswold
Not only that, but yesterday I have a pear tree in my front yard. And like from August to like when the pears start falling off the tree or whatever I have, it looks like Olen Mills for deer in my front yard. It's the whole family when waiting for pears. But yesterday there, there were like two deer in my front yard at like a quarter after two and they are just walking around. And I don't live rurally but.
Christy Lee
And last year was a huge year for acorns. There was a disproportionate number of acorns.
Tom Griswold
Is that right?
Christy Lee
Absolutely. They come in cycles.
Tom Griswold
Hang on a second. You're the one who brought.
Christy Lee
By the way. I think I know why I like dogs. It's because dogs have such bad add. I'm out walking my dog and you know, you're so desperately trying to get him to poop and finally he's just about to go. He does the three circles, sees a rabbit. It's over now.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Now you got. You gotta get. Forget about the rabbit and get back to business. You're gonna be walking for another 10 minutes.
Tom Griswold
Wait till they see a deer.
Chick McGee
Can dogs poop at will? More so than we can?
Josh Arnold
I don't know. That's a good question.
Chick McGee
Can they kind of decide?
Christy Lee
I think so.
Tom Griswold
Very much a creature of hat rabbit, I think.
Christy Lee
But I mean, I think sometimes if. If they haven't been out for a long, long, long time, they'll go right away. But often I'll go on a two mile walk and I'll be back at my house. And he decided I gotta go now after sniffing every.
Chick McGee
Yeah, they're more strategic about where they poop too, aren't they?
Josh Arnold
Mine won't go in the yard anymore. They want to go on the deck.
Chick McGee
The deck?
Tom Griswold
One of mine goes on the deck.
Josh Arnold
Does it? Well, you know, it's easy to clean up though. I kind of don't mind it.
Tom Griswold
No, that's because the guy I put on my. In my deck, his looks like a piece of. I figured it out. I hate that guy. Oh, God, I'm gonna find him one of these days. I'm gonna find him and slash his tires.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Chick McGee
Hey, do you still have fireworks stains where I set off those fireworks?
Tom Griswold
Yep.
Chick McGee
Sorry, sorry. I had no idea that.
Christy Lee
Sports.
Tom Griswold
More sports coming up. It's the year of the big dumper.
Christy Lee
I got an update on Terror in Tiny Town.
Chick McGee
It's a wild flick, man.
Tom Griswold
Terror in Tiny Town too.
Christy Lee
Once again, Mr. Oscar, that is a movie in which all of the participants are small of stature.
Tom Griswold
Little people.
Christy Lee
Little, little people.
Chick McGee
Okay. It was nominated for best short film.
Christy Lee
It was made many, many years ago.
Chick McGee
Thank you Very.
Christy Lee
Considered probably to be in poor taste these days, but I guess there's a scene in it, according to this letter, where the sheriff walks in and he says, this town is big enough for.
Chick McGee
The both of us. We got plenty of room.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Kind of variation on the classic.
Tom Griswold
Really?
Christy Lee
Yeah. These are the O'Reilly Auto Part Studios and this is the Bob and Tom Show. For a complete copy of the Bob and Tom show contest rules, go to bob and tom.com contest rules. Or just scroll down to the bottom of the page and see contest rules. This is the Bob and Tom Show. One of our winners.

Chick?
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Chick McGee
Earlier we, we talked about Alabama, the band.
Tom Griswold
Sure.
Chick McGee
I'm a fan. Actually.
Tom Griswold
There's a couple of things they did and you.
Chick McGee
I like you referenced, I believe. Dixieland delight.
Tom Griswold
Dixieland delight.
Christy Lee
And.
Tom Griswold
And feel so right.
Chick McGee
Yes. How do you feel about the lyrics? Cuz the song's been in my head since we talked about make a little loving.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
A little turtle doven.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
On a Mason Dixon night. Oh, so right.
Tom Griswold
Feel so right.
Christy Lee
Sounds good.
Chick McGee
A little turtle.
Tom Griswold
Turtle doll oven is turtle doven.
Chick McGee
Well, I. I think it's similar to making a little oven because turtle loves.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Chick McGee
Little turtle dove in on a Mason Dixon.
Christy Lee
What is it called when you have to. You really need to stop while driving because you've got a turtle.
Chick McGee
Tom.
Josh Arnold
Don't.
Chick McGee
When you're turtle heading. Is that what it is?
Josh Arnold
God.
Christy Lee
That's prairie dogging. Okay.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Talking about making love and he goes right to the poop.
Chick McGee
No, no.
Christy Lee
That'S prairie dogging. That'd be. Because I thought that'd be really weird. The guys in Alabama into that little coprophagic reference.
Chick McGee
Have you asked a woman to poop on you? I mean, would we be completely shocked?
Tom Griswold
No, not at all.
Christy Lee
But I'm shocked. I walk in here and you guys are talking about fishing again and some dumb fishing lure that now you've decided is the only way to catch fish.
Chick McGee
Not the only way.
Christy Lee
What's it called?
Chick McGee
A good one. I've been using a lot of swim bait.
Christy Lee
What does that mean?
Tom Griswold
They were called Big Joshi.
Chick McGee
It's a soft plastic that mimics. Yes. And there's a brand out there that I found out of the Cincinnati area called Big Joshy.
Tom Griswold
Whoa.
Chick McGee
And I bought some. I'm catching bass with these things left.
Christy Lee
And right, and it looks like it's swimming when you reel it in.
Chick McGee
Yeah, they look really. They look very realistic.
Christy Lee
How do they spell Joshi?
Chick McGee
J O, S, H, I, E. Yep, that's Joshi. She.
Jeff Oskay
Is it shaped like a piece of pizza? Sorry, I. I'm sorry I stole that from you.
Christy Lee
I'm so glad.
Josh Arnold
You knew he was gonna do it.
Chick McGee
The clapping from Tom, I expect.
Josh Arnold
But, Christy, I'm clapping because Josh beat Tom to the punch.
Chick McGee
Oh, Jeff. Yeah, I know.
Josh Arnold
Jeff.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Josh Arnold
Too many J's around here. Jeff.
Tom Griswold
Speaking of adult cinema.
Christy Lee
What?
Tom Griswold
We're talking about Josh and pizza. It's a short putt to porno.
Christy Lee
Are you. Hang on a second. That's got. That's got to be a title. A chapter of your book.
Chick McGee
A short putt to porno.
Tom Griswold
This is from Michael. You guys were talking about baseball names. Jazz Chisholm plays for the Yankees here. It reminded me of a young lady from my childhood. Her name was Jiz Chasm.
Chick McGee
I think that person is pulling our way.
Tom Griswold
It could be an adult.
Christy Lee
That has to be in a parody.
Tom Griswold
No, you don't know that. It might be a real. Real.
Chick McGee
There's no young lady out there named.
Christy Lee
Jizz Cass.
Chick McGee
If you know something short for Jisme.
Christy Lee
Yeah, sadly. Sadly. You know something? I would almost guarantee there is a woman named J I, Z, Z M A N in America or Jizmalia or something. I guarantee it. I told. I told you I was checking out. I was. There was a woman whose name was spelled S H I.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Christy Lee
T I A, N, A, like Shitheenia, like Shatania or something. But you would have thought maybe one of the nurses would have said, excuse me, man. Give me a second.
Tom Griswold
Hey, it's time for sports.
Chick McGee
Please don't name yourselves.
Tom Griswold
Seattle's Cal Raleigh, but her sister Turdina loves that. Do you remember Cal Raleigh's nickname.
Christy Lee
The Dumper.
Tom Griswold
The Big Dumper.
Christy Lee
Oh, sorry, Tom.
Tom Griswold
Well, he run.
Christy Lee
Won the Home Run Derby, The Little Dumper.
Tom Griswold
And we'll get to that. He won the All Star Home Run Derby last night. It led the big leagues. And long balls go going into the break, defeating Tampa Bay's Junior Caminero 18:15 in the final round. The Big Dumper's dad was pitching to him during the Home Run Derby competition. And his brother was catching while he was hitting the baseballs. Oh, so you got Big Dumper, Daddy Dumper and Baby Dumper.
Josh Arnold
You get to pick who pitches?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Evidently you do. Oh, yeah. What do you mean? Why wouldn't you?
Chick McGee
Well, yeah, some people just pick their.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, you would think it'd be like a coach.
Chick McGee
No, no, they want.
Tom Griswold
No, see, this is entertainment. And they're trying to hit the most home runs as possible.
Christy Lee
Okay, we just talk about the oldest balls. What was it?
Chick McGee
Long balls.
Tom Griswold
Long balls.
Chick McGee
Oh, that's a nickname for a home run. The Long ball.
Christy Lee
Because I was going to get longest balls ever in Major League Baseball. Satchel Page.
Tom Griswold
They all use different bags.
Chick McGee
That's why they called him Satchel.
Christy Lee
He was. He was playing Major League Baseball when he was in his 60s. Right.
Tom Griswold
You know, there's a leather bag called Satchel Page. I don't know how they get away with that.
Chick McGee
Really?
Christy Lee
They. I hope they give him a royalty.
Tom Griswold
Here we go. Shohei Otani will bat lead off as the D8 for the national League on Tuesday's Major League Tonight's All Star game. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. Ronald Acuno. Second Kettle Marte. The one man party will bat third, Paul Skeens. The Pirates will start for the National League, Detroit's Tarek School ball. Why doesn't he have a screwball available? School ball with a screwball? Yeah. Why. Why isn't that a. Why isn't that a thing? Oh, and I have some numbers for numbers. Guys. Ready?
Chick McGee
Tom, you're going to love sabermetrics.
Tom Griswold
Curveballs are disappearing from Major League Baseball.
Chick McGee
Really?
Tom Griswold
He's going to find this fascinating. Pitchers prioritize velocity, emphasizing sliders and sweepers. Curveball usage dropped from 10.7% in 2019 to 8.4% this season.
Chick McGee
Well, sure, Covid.
Tom Griswold
With 22,962.
Christy Lee
Okay, I get it.
Chick McGee
Boy.
Tom Griswold
And just for you, Tom, there are guys who eat these stats. Yes. Major League Baseball testing automated ball strike systems in the All Star Game tonight for the first time. The system used in some Minor Leagues since 19 allows Team 2 challenges per game, retaining Them if they're successful. All star starters. School ball of Detroit and skiings Pittsburgh State pitchers often think everything is a strike. Kershaw. Clayton Kershaw believes the system works if it's adjusted for player height, which it does. During spring training tests, teams won 52.2% of challenge challenges. There you go.
Chick McGee
Is there, I wonder if there's a penalty for challenging and it not you lose the challenge. Right.
Tom Griswold
But if you, if you challenge and win, you still have that challenge. Oh, I see.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Tom Griswold
You have two challenges and you retain them if you're successful.
Christy Lee
This is going to be a hard question to answer. Let's just say you were in the home run Derby. What would your walk up music be?
Tom Griswold
I, I, I've never thought of that. I don't.
Christy Lee
I told you it would be a hard question to answer and you failed to answer. John, what would your walk up music?
Chick McGee
Oh, man. Boy, there's a great song right now though.
Tom Griswold
If I could jump in, I'm leaning toward Feel so right by Alabama.
Chick McGee
Please. Dixieland Delight is the name.
Tom Griswold
And Dixieland Delight is also a good one. I forget what Alabama.
Chick McGee
That's the name of the. The Feel so Right song is. Dixie Land.
Tom Griswold
Feel so Right. I thought it was Feel so Right. Oh, Dixie Land Delight. Yeah. Son of a gun.
Christy Lee
Christy, what would your walk up music be?
Josh Arnold
I don't have any idea.
Christy Lee
You don't have a song that. No batting, Christy Lee? No.
Josh Arnold
Oh no. What would yours be?
Christy Lee
I don't know. I said it's a hard question to answer. Jeffrey, have you given this any thought? Would you have any.
Jeff Oskay
I'm gonna say Panama by.
Chick McGee
That's good.
Jeff Oskay
From that opening. That opening.
Chick McGee
That's a good. That's a good choice.
Josh Arnold
That's good.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Can't you hear me Knocking by the Stones. That's one of the greatest riffs of all.
Chick McGee
For sure. Yeah. That's really good.
Josh Arnold
So every player. I don't watch baseball. Sorry. Every player has. Has a, has a walk home player.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Oh, okay.
Chick McGee
Yeah. I mean, Maguire on the organ. Maguire had. Welcome to the jungle. That, that beginning.
Christy Lee
That's such.
Chick McGee
That was so great.
Tom Griswold
I can also request the musical instrument that is played. Played on.
Christy Lee
Oh, really? Really.
Chick McGee
The clock and spiel.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Chris, that recorder sounds like. It sounds like one of those film Board of Canada soundtracks.
Chick McGee
My. My song is somewhat obscure. It's an alt song from the 90s called Love Spreads by the Stone Roses. But the intro is just so fantastic.
Tom Griswold
Love spreads.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Yes. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Like a disease.
Chick McGee
No, as in love spreads her arms. It's actually a little. And then the next line is waiting for the nails, so.
Josh Arnold
Oh, geez.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Is this it?
Chick McGee
Yeah, I've walked on stage to this.
Christy Lee
This is good.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Travis Tripp, deep cut.
Chick McGee
It's like a boy British.
Christy Lee
This is good, girl.
Tom Griswold
Well, that's too much slide.
Christy Lee
Ladies and gentlemen, from St. Louis, Missouri. He's the least of four children. His mother kicked him out of the house at age 17.
Chick McGee
Yeah, this song's great.
Christy Lee
He rarely wears pants on stage. For every hair he's lost. Lost. He's banged three women. Nice.
Tom Griswold
Are we still in the intro?
Chick McGee
Yeah, it's about a minute 20 or so.
Tom Griswold
Tom would not like this song.
Christy Lee
No, I love this song. This is great. What's the name of this band?
Josh Arnold
Likes it because it's still roses.
Chick McGee
They're cool.
Josh Arnold
You only like it because Josh.
Christy Lee
No, I like. This is really good.
Chick McGee
It starts singing in about 10, 15 seconds to.
Christy Lee
Now. Here we go.
Jeff Oskay
I'm out.
Tom Griswold
Oh, I got. I have my walk up music. Finally, Tom.
Christy Lee
Okay, what is.
Chick McGee
You're out, Oscar.
Tom Griswold
Here comes Chick McGee, batting third, number one in your program.
Jeff Oskay
Are there any players that have something silly that they walk up to?
Josh Arnold
Like, like sarcastic?
Chick McGee
This isn't particularly silly, but there was a relief pitcher named Michael Myers.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
And he had the Halloween theme when he would come out.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, that's fun.
Chick McGee
Yeah. So that was cool.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Chick McGee
I'm trying to think, but nobody goes.
Jeff Oskay
Up to Girls just want to have fun or some silly.
Chick McGee
Not that I ever.
Christy Lee
Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. So this. This is. This is yours? Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, he's a great dad. He's got a great beard. He's known as the trout whisperer when it comes to fishing. Unshaven, untethered, feathered, half baked and pantless. It's Jeff. Oscar. Yeah. What do you think?
Chick McGee
He loves the pantless angle.
Christy Lee
I love it. We'll think of one for you, Christy.
Josh Arnold
Hi. Boy, that's. I never thought.
Chick McGee
Katrina in the Waves.
Christy Lee
Oh, I love that song.
Tom Griswold
I'm on. Do you?
Josh Arnold
You do.
Chick McGee
Walking on Stretch. At least it has an upbeat.
Christy Lee
Yeah, but unfortunately the name Katrina kind of got killed.
Josh Arnold
She was one of my best friends in grade school and high school too.
Chick McGee
Oh, and it was Katrina and the Waves.
Christy Lee
Yeah, the. How about Clitina?
Chick McGee
Anything before?
Tom Griswold
Well, it could have. Could have started with an sh. I guess we should counter.
Chick McGee
You're a Deep Purple fan. There's some great Deep Purple space trucking.
Josh Arnold
That would be good.
Christy Lee
Okay, well, if you have any suggestions for our walk up Music. By all means, let us know. We remain in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Tom Griswold
Hey, thanks for listening this morning.
Christy Lee
Got something to say? Send us an email, Bob andtom@bobandtom.com.
Tom Griswold
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Top show. At the SILAC Insurance news desk, it's Christy Lee.
Josh Arnold
Hi, Jake.
Tom Griswold
There's Jeff Osk.
Jeff Oskay
Hey, buddy.
Tom Griswold
Josh Arnold.
Chick McGee
Hello.
Tom Griswold
We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. I'm Chick. There's Ace Cosby. Hello, Tom. How are you, buddy?
Christy Lee
Good.
Tom Griswold
Are you telling me that you don't smell pickles? Pickles. I've smelled pickles pickles all morning.
Christy Lee
I have not. I didn't go into the break room last break.
Tom Griswold
No, I smell it in here.
Chick McGee
Me.
Jeff Oskay
Do I have wreak a pickle?
Tom Griswold
It might be.
Chick McGee
Have you been eating pickles? No.
Jeff Oskay
That's why I was concerned.
Tom Griswold
Wasn't that.
Christy Lee
Hang on, let me check this. Oh, that means you're about to have a stroke. Okay. Good.
Tom Griswold
Morning. Amsterdam's wife on the Dick Van Dyke show was named Pickles.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Are you eating Pickles?
Chick McGee
Oh, boy.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that was an old, old joke from, was it, eighth grade? Now we were talking about our walk up music because you were talking about home run derby, etc. Etc. And Christie was not familiar with the notion of walk up music. So when the batter's walking up there, they play something cool. You mentioned Johnson get fired up. Mark McGuire, what was it he played?
Chick McGee
Oh, Guns N Roses.
Josh Arnold
Welcome to the jungle.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Thank you.
Christy Lee
Yeah, you were trying to think of one and you mentioned this. I think this might work. Work. If you want to give it a try, I can, I can introduce you.
Tom Griswold
Oh, please don't.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah, here it goes something. It goes something like this, ladies and gentlemen.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Shorter than your average news anchor. Smarter than her last three husbands. She's tiny. She's legally married. Yes, technically. Delivering the facts with a smart and a prenup. Great song. The Blonde bombshell. Take it off her.
Chick McGee
Or what?
Christy Lee
I'm waiting for this. I want to say pants. You know, it's coming. Pants. It's Christian. Now that is a good. That'd be good walk up music if it's. Especially if it's a long walk.
Chick McGee
It's not that long. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. You'd have to edit. We could edit that.
Christy Lee
I was wondering. I was running out of things to say.
Chick McGee
Well, yeah, normally it's just. Now batting, first baseman Christy Lee.
Tom Griswold
Oh, now batting.
Christy Lee
Oh, what is this?
Chick McGee
Jason Pantera?
Tom Griswold
This is called Walk who's is this? Anybody?
Chick McGee
This is up for grabs.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
No, especially if you want re.
Christy Lee
Too repetitive. Respect.
Chick McGee
Too repetitive.
Christy Lee
Sucks.
Chick McGee
No, it sucks. No one has ever said that.
Christy Lee
That I just said I agree with.
Tom Griswold
Tom, but I think it sucked.
Chick McGee
There's no way that sucks. Grow penises.
Tom Griswold
I beg to differ.
Chick McGee
Ah, jeez.
Tom Griswold
How about just like this, Limp Bizkit?
Chick McGee
Just like this.
Tom Griswold
Just like this.
Chick McGee
I don't know that one he's looking for. Or if I do, I just don't know it by.
Christy Lee
How about this one? One?
Chick McGee
Actually, yeah.
Christy Lee
This is the best one.
Tom Griswold
Chances are if you had cocaine in.
Christy Lee
The late 80s, we sold it to you.
Tom Griswold
Turning add I'm George Young.
Christy Lee
Indiso, ladies and gentlemen. He's got no pants on.
Chick McGee
Well, I sure wish it would kick in the other ear.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. This is too slow. You can't walk up.
Chick McGee
Why is it only.
Christy Lee
Oh, it's terrible.
Chick McGee
Terrible.
Christy Lee
70 stereo. Yeah. Sorry.
Chick McGee
But a great song. Oh, and a good intro.
Christy Lee
Do you think it's too slow, Christy?
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Too slow.
Christy Lee
Okay. Okay.
Josh Arnold
Well, don't you think.
Chick McGee
No, I think it works.
Christy Lee
Okay, Wait a minute now. Jason just walked in real quick.
Tom Griswold
The two guys wearing Lululemon shorts don't like Pantera. I'm shocked even saying.
Chick McGee
Even people that don't like Pantera, at least, and no pun intended, respect the song.
Christy Lee
Walk.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
This.
Tom Griswold
This guitar sounds like every. Every guitar in this. In this genre.
Christy Lee
Distortion.
Tom Griswold
Pathetic distortion. He's right.
Christy Lee
No, he's not right, Muddy. If turds were music, it would be.
Chick McGee
It really isn't money.
Tom Griswold
Yes. Yes, Tom. Thank you.
Chick McGee
I'd be fine with you guys criticizing it if you. Your criticisms were accurate.
Christy Lee
Is this Christian rock?
Chick McGee
No. Striper. Probably.
Tom Griswold
As far as Lululemon goes, here's our song.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Yes, sir. We're putting our Lululemon.
Chick McGee
I'll let you know when your boyfriend's in here.
Christy Lee
Get.
Tom Griswold
Just like this.
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Chick McGee
This song has its place also.
Christy Lee
Yes. In a garbage can.
Josh Arnold
A karaoke bar.
Chick McGee
To me. To me. It's hack karaoke.
Tom Griswold
We need to arrange this. Me and you. Karaoke bar doing summer loving.
Chick McGee
I. I can't be a part of something so trite.
Tom Griswold
Is that right?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Chick McGee
It's every karaoke.
Tom Griswold
How about if I do walk with you and then you do summer loving with me? How about that? I'll meet you halfway way.
Chick McGee
How about we both do walk this way? You be Aerosmith. IB Run dmc.
Josh Arnold
That's good.
Tom Griswold
Walk this way.
Josh Arnold
That's a good one.
Chick McGee
Someone told me to.
Tom Griswold
Someone told me to. Someone told me To.
Christy Lee
Okay. I'm trying to find the top karaoke.
Chick McGee
Songs in I'm gonna say My Way.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
Summer Lovin'.
Christy Lee
Oh.
Chick McGee
One of the hardest I ever laughed was this guy and girl did an Evanescence song.
Josh Arnold
Oh, that's a hard song to sing too.
Chick McGee
They made it look hard.
Christy Lee
This is. This is interesting. Number one is Bohemian Rhapsody.
Josh Arnold
No, there's no way you can get.
Chick McGee
Six people in there. You can.
Christy Lee
Number two, don't Stop Believing by Journey.
Josh Arnold
That's big.
Christy Lee
Now this was. This is a Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond.
Tom Griswold
You love that song.
Josh Arnold
So hack.
Christy Lee
Oh, God. Although, did you see that Neil sang it the other day at a baseball game.
Tom Griswold
Wow.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that was pretty cool.
Josh Arnold
Doesn't he have some health issues?
Christy Lee
Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, it's big.
Christy Lee
Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler. Total Eclipse and then Shallow from Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
Chick McGee
I've never heard that at a karaoke.
Josh Arnold
Me either.
Chick McGee
That was a good song.
Josh Arnold
That was a great song. But that would be. You got to have a good voice.
Chick McGee
I was going to say. Yeah, That's a tough one, man. I heard a guy do Bill Withers Use Me and when the song started I was like, oh, yeah. Good luck with this.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, right.
Chick McGee
Knocked it out of the.
Tom Griswold
No kidding.
Chick McGee
It was awesome.
Tom Griswold
Takes a lot of balls. Single Withers.
Chick McGee
I also saw a guy do Aha. Take on Me. That was my. My. My buddy Mark and he nailed it.
Josh Arnold
High note.
Christy Lee
What is yours? What's your go to?
Chick McGee
I like Brand Looking Glass.
Josh Arnold
That's a good one.
Chick McGee
And I like Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground. And I'll also do a metal version of Lana's Morissette's you Ought to Know.
Christy Lee
Very nice.
Chick McGee
Nobody likes it.
Christy Lee
Probably better than that Pantera song.
Chick McGee
Boy, that's.
Christy Lee
What are the lyrics to that one?
Chick McGee
Respect walk.
Tom Griswold
Respect.
Christy Lee
Okay, we got that bumpadon down.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
You want to lay that foundation for the Rocket?
Christy Lee
Still doing it.
Chick McGee
We could play that game all day.
Christy Lee
No, we're only going to play it until I win. And then we stop.
Tom Griswold
And he considers you giving up and winning.
Christy Lee
Is that sports?
Tom Griswold
No. NBA? WNBA? Last night, Minnesota the links beat Chicago Sky 9178 and the Phoenix players beat Golden State Valkyrie 78 77. And a first time golfer has achieved a rare. One of the rarest features, a hole in one. Emma Strong came from Britain to work at the snack shack on the golf course at the Canana Nana Skis Country Golf Course in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada. She was convinced by Co workers to play her very first round of golf on the fourth hole. Described by the course as the most difficult. Strong, teed off, aced the 99 yard par three using a driver. 99 yards hard par three. That's a long putt.
Chick McGee
Yeah, I mean that's a, that's a whole one right hole. If you've ever.
Christy Lee
I mean they're golfers that play their entire career and never get a hole in one.
Tom Griswold
That's very true.
Christy Lee
First game. Oh, that's great.
Chick McGee
Anything's more rare. The hole in one or the albatross.
Tom Griswold
That's like two on a five, right?
Chick McGee
Something three.
Christy Lee
Yeah, they just, they just, it just happened about three or four weeks ago. And I think it says it was. I'll find it. It was very rare.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Christy Lee
Wow. On the pro, on the, on the pro level.
Tom Griswold
The course celebrated the hole in one by strong in a social media post calling it quote, one of the unlikeliest holes in one in golf history.
Chick McGee
Well, that seems.
Christy Lee
If you keep, if you keep reading it. And she's now in charge of North Korea.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah. That guy's renowned. Hole in one.
Christy Lee
Remember Kim Jong Un claimed he's playing his first round of golf and had like. Wasn't it 17?
Tom Griswold
Did I say that? Did I see they're trying to open North Korea to tourism. I thought I saw that.
Chick McGee
It's always been open to tourism. Not necessarily to those. Not for a while. It was closed after America. After George W. Bush declared. Declared them part of the axis of evil.
Christy Lee
Right.
Chick McGee
I said no more Americans can. Except. Unless you're Dennis Rodman. Yeah. Or other so called dignity.
Christy Lee
Having a couple of morons gone over there and they get stuck in prison for a while.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah. You never know what.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Be careful. You take a picture of the wrong thing over, the next thing you know you're right. Getting sodomized by some lunatic that's also in there. Coming up, we have, we have exciting things in the world of news. We have more sports.
Tom Griswold
Yes, we do. One more world record, actually.
Christy Lee
Okay. We have a massive adult toy theft and freeze branding. The latest way to be part of the crowd. We'll tell you about that.
Tom Griswold
But first, Chick Magee Simplisafe, the do it yourself design it yourself home security system that I trust and you will too. And it brings you peace of mind. How much would you pay for that big enchilada? Simplisafe is a system that works to prevent a break in from ever happening in the first place. We use Simplisafe here at the Bob and Tom show Simplisafe has new active guard outdoor protection. Simplisafetom.com you claim 50% off a new system with a professional monitoring plan to get your first month free. That's go to simplisafetom.com 50% off your first month free. Simplisafetom.com there's no safe like simply safe.
Christy Lee
Oh, thank you very much, Chick McGee. And to clarify. Yes. A walk off albatross at the Bromont Open on July 10 this year.
Tom Griswold
Oh, we might have the best. Yeah. As much as it pains, this might be the best walk up music. Absolutely.
Christy Lee
What is it?
Chick McGee
Yeah, Great, great song.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah. This. This kicks into president.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah. The drum is just amazing.
Christy Lee
This is. Of course, it's dead Christie.
Josh Arnold
Oh, Ted Nugent. Yeah, I'm aware.
Christy Lee
I think we have to edit maybe a little shorter here. Ready? You want this for who? Want this for. You want this for Christy? Yeah. She put a stranglehold.
Tom Griswold
Oh, you're gonna talk over it. Great.
Christy Lee
You got to do. You got to do the intro.
Chick McGee
He doesn't know how baseball.
Tom Griswold
No, he doesn't. This is how he ruined Jason's idea for J. Jeff to have catchphrases. It's the same thing. He just hears something and then he interprets it as something else. And it be.
Chick McGee
He trods, doesn't he? He does you. You put something and it'll trot all over.
Tom Griswold
You know what he has? The large feet of interruption is what he has.
Josh Arnold
No, Claude, that is very nice.
Tom Griswold
Just stomping around.
Christy Lee
Yes, okay.
Tom Griswold
You clumsy bastard. He's a clod hopper.
Christy Lee
Coming up, we have Hillbilly. Coming up, we have Adult Toy Theft. And we have a tremendously stupid world record. I'm really proud of this. From the O'Reilly Auto Part Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Josh Arnold
We're a professional.
Tom Griswold
It sounds like we're giving away a family of four.
Chick McGee
We have the got leaves here.
Tom Griswold
We're giving them now. They're very clean. First of all, they will Take care of their own living conditions and. Hi, Christy.
Josh Arnold
Hi, Chick.
Tom Griswold
There's Jeff Oskay.
Jeff Oskay
Hey, man.
Tom Griswold
Josh Arnold.
Chick McGee
Hi.
Tom Griswold
We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. It's Ace Cosby. I'm Chick McGee. Hello, Tom. How are you?
Christy Lee
Good. We've dipped our toes into the world of sports. We'll continue to do so. What have you got over there?
Tom Griswold
Well, we got one of these stupid world records, actually, the walk up music. Music for Stupid World Records is now Limp Bizkit. This is just like this. This is the song they played before they set fire to Woodstock 99.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that's good walk up music.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Bad stereo again.
Tom Griswold
Wow, wow, wow.
Chick McGee
Is this off the Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored water, that album or.
Tom Griswold
I don't know. Is there a Chocolate Starfish and the.
Chick McGee
Hot dog flavored water in the name of the album there?
Tom Griswold
There you go, Tom. How about that Chocolate starfish?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I wonder what they mean there.
Christy Lee
Oh, I know, I got. Oh.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
What do you got?
Tom Griswold
Frenchman has broken the Guinness world record for the longest duration standing on nails. A bed of nails.
Christy Lee
Oh.
Tom Griswold
32 year old Ferdinand Morella. There's a bunch of consonants there that they refuse to pronounce. Spent 13 hours, 13 minutes, 13 seconds with his bare feet pressing in the nails to claim the title. Now, you know the trick to this is what you. It can't. It can hold your weight. The better nails, but if you try to do this on one nail, you get stabbed. Yeah, it's physics, Tom.
Christy Lee
Yeah, but it's stupid.
Josh Arnold
Well, it still has to hurt.
Tom Griswold
I'm gonna pierce your skin, though.
Christy Lee
I couldn't stand up for 13 hours on a board.
Tom Griswold
I could absolutely.
Josh Arnold
Oh, I see what you're saying, Chick. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I could absolutely do that.
Josh Arnold
You could do that, right?
Jeff Oskay
But it's still.
Chick McGee
You feel it. I've laid. You guys ever laid on a bed of nails?
Tom Griswold
No.
Josh Arnold
Have you?
Christy Lee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Is that. Is that Ferdinand?
Josh Arnold
That's that guy.
Chick McGee
I hate him.
Christy Lee
It's so dumb.
Josh Arnold
He has gray hair.
Chick McGee
Why everything about him. I don't like his short shorts.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, that's Dog is way too prevalent in those shorts.
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah. I don't like him.
Tom Griswold
I don't think.
Chick McGee
Look at my dick.
Tom Griswold
That's a gal.
Christy Lee
I think. What?
Josh Arnold
It looks a little better.
Christy Lee
Is that a lady?
Chick McGee
I mean, she. He's got lady hair.
Tom Griswold
He does have lady hair, by the way.
Chick McGee
He has his hands up.
Tom Griswold
You can't.
Christy Lee
Yeah, he's kind of doing. He's kind of doing a mincing Jazz hands thing.
Josh Arnold
He's like, no hands.
Christy Lee
Well, now I have a question.
Tom Griswold
Deny the penis, though.
Chick McGee
You guys never held a hammer?
Christy Lee
Yeah, most of. Most of these records you're allowed like a five minute break every hour. But that doesn't apply to this kind of record, right?
Tom Griswold
I don't know.
Christy Lee
This guy was standing there for 13 hours.
Chick McGee
Where does he poop?
Tom Griswold
What about pooping? He poops in the nails. Who has to clean the poop out of the nail?
Chick McGee
Do they use poop to clean the poop?
Tom Griswold
They'd have to.
Christy Lee
You know, you. You act like these aren't fair questions. I think this is a very fair question. I mean, this is.
Tom Griswold
Where does he poo?
Christy Lee
His buddy. His buddy has to bring over a buck bucket. See?
Tom Griswold
Well, now, hang on a second. Now you're talking. Pooping in a bucket.
Christy Lee
I mean, you know, you can hold.
Josh Arnold
Your poop for a day, can't you?
Chick McGee
Yeah, but I'd wear gloves.
Tom Griswold
If you had to. Where would you. Where would you poop if you had to? Would you poop just anywhere?
Josh Arnold
What?
Tom Griswold
I bet you would.
Christy Lee
No.
Chick McGee
You think you should be. You think you should be allowed to poop on a beach and cover it up, right? That people can just. It's just a giant litter box.
Tom Griswold
They could call you. You could be a. A performance artist. You, the human cat, and you could go and. Okay, the tomcat.
Christy Lee
That's the.
Tom Griswold
Wait a minute.
Christy Lee
Hold it.
Tom Griswold
Were you going to ask where he poops while he's standing on the bed of nails?
Christy Lee
Of course.
Tom Griswold
Son of a.
Josh Arnold
Man. Tell you.
Christy Lee
You got What? First of all, it's the stupidest thing I've ever. What a dumb thing to do. And this is supposed to be some spiritual journey or something, but to what.
Tom Griswold
Is says the nail boards are used in yoga and spiritual activities.
Chick McGee
There is something, too. Pressure points.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I know.
Christy Lee
I mean, it's sort of an interesting thing where physics meets biology. But I mean, if this is your idea of getting closer to God. I'm going to go lie down on some nails. Really? I'm going to go have a sandwich and praise the glory of God for giving us food. You go lay down on some nails. Gee, I've got better things.
Chick McGee
I mean, you saw the guys.
Tom Griswold
I'm gonna go grab a Reuben. You. You stand on the nail.
Christy Lee
Have fun here today. You wanna go lie down on the nails? He's a yogi.
Chick McGee
Yeah, that guy's. I mean, he looks like a douchebag, doesn't he?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
All I know is he never held a hammer. That's all I know.
Chick McGee
There's no way.
Josh Arnold
He's got nice hair, though. Give him that.
Jeff Oskay
Hey, Jason, can you put that picture back up just real quick? I wanted to see if I. I could see something on the. The shorts.
Chick McGee
I mean, you can pretty much.
Christy Lee
Is there a logo?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, Lululemon. There's a surprise.
Tom Griswold
I take everything back. He looks like a wonderful adventurer.
Christy Lee
They breathe down there.
Chick McGee
Beard is all.
Tom Griswold
He looks like Peter Storm. Storm air a little bit. Yeah. The blonde from Fargo. And he also looks like Nicholas Cage character in long legs.
Chick McGee
Not as striking. Yeah, yeah.
Christy Lee
Okay. I found some other records and a.
Chick McGee
Little like Chad Kroger from Nickelback.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, that's who I was thinking.
Tom Griswold
Only smaller nose.
Chick McGee
Obviously.
Christy Lee
The most people simultaneously standing on beds of nails. 151. Wow. The longest time spent on a bed of nails. 300 Hours by Ken Owen. Boy, that's a lot of the uk. Not the Ken Owens that Ken is an authority on. Todd Rundgren.
Josh Arnold
That's true.
Christy Lee
This is a different kid. Well, the most layered bed of nails. Oh, God. It's a bunch of folks from India. So who knows?
Tom Griswold
A bunch of folks from India.
Christy Lee
No, it's a series of names I could never, never pronounce. So we can move forward here, as. Have we completed our sports broadcast?
Tom Griswold
Yes, sir, we have.
Christy Lee
Okay, thank you. Hello. If you're just joining us, These are the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This remains the Bob and Tom program. And Christy Lee with her kerchief around her neck is right over there. Christy, what have you got?
Josh Arnold
Medical experts are raising concerns about a growing social media trend known as freeze branding.
Chick McGee
What's this?
Josh Arnold
According to Professor Adam Taylor of Lancaster University, freeze branding, Josh, which is also called cryo branding, was originally developed as a less painful method for marking cattle.
Chick McGee
Oh.
Josh Arnold
The process involves chilling a branding iron to cryogenic temperatures and pressing it against the skin to leave a permanent scar. Professor Taylor cautioned that the practice can result in severe burns, sometimes deep enough to damage bone.
Chick McGee
People are doing this?
Josh Arnold
Yes. Additional risks include frostbite infection and an extreme case of is the loss of fingers or limbs.
Christy Lee
This is. I've seen these.
Josh Arnold
You have?
Christy Lee
Instead of, instead of a tattoo, I see, there'll be a brand.
Josh Arnold
I've seen brands, but this is.
Christy Lee
This is essentially the same thing.
Josh Arnold
Yikes.
Chick McGee
Idiotic. Sounds like. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Painful. I mean, you've never seen a guy that had a head.
Josh Arnold
I've seen a brand, but not a freeze brand. I don't. I don't. Yeah. Board certified dermatologist Dr. Andrea Suarez added that Freeze branding can lead to a serious skin infection called cellulitis which may then progress to life threatening complications like sepsis or osteomyelitis. An infection of the bone.
Chick McGee
Oh, nobody wants that.
Christy Lee
The good news is. Sorry. The good news is though, if you have one of these, they can find you and take you back to your.
Chick McGee
Your.
Christy Lee
To your herd.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Is that right?
Christy Lee
Yeah. Yeah. Oh, look, we found Roger. He was running around but he's got this brand so we know which farm to tall him back to.
Chick McGee
Would you rather be freeze branded or hot branded?
Jeff Oskay
Freeze.
Chick McGee
I know. I feel like I would choose Freeze also.
Christy Lee
Is there that. That's the. Really. That's the question. Which one would hurt less?
Jeff Oskay
Well, so they're saying they both hurt really bad.
Christy Lee
Yeah, man. And they're saying you can get some kind of infection.
Chick McGee
Do the cattle care when it happens to them?
Tom Griswold
They say they don't, but.
Josh Arnold
How would you know?
Chick McGee
I don't know.
Josh Arnold
Can't ask a cow. He's not going to go, hey, that hurt.
Chick McGee
I mean, well, yeah. Will he move though?
Josh Arnold
I would think so.
Tom Griswold
A pain move.
Josh Arnold
I would think. Yeah, they move like.
Tom Griswold
Hey, that hurt. Hey, what the hell you doing? You know though. But I think they know the cows know where they're going when they go through the tunnel and they hold their heads and douche right in the middle of the forehead, you know.
Christy Lee
Did you see. Years ago I saw something.
Tom Griswold
You know what I mean?
Christy Lee
I'll have to check on this. I saw a thing years ago where they were trying to come up with a more humane way to brand cattle and it dyed the hair.
Chick McGee
Yeah, that seems.
Tom Griswold
That makes total sense.
Chick McGee
Right? I've seen that where they kind of spray paint some. It kind of looks.
Christy Lee
Oh, is that what it was?
Chick McGee
I've seen the asses of cows that have been spray painted.
Josh Arnold
Well. And that doesn't come off.
Chick McGee
I don't know.
Christy Lee
Well, was that done by the rancher or was it a graffiti artist that didn't have a train around?
Chick McGee
It was a guy named Pharmsy.
Christy Lee
Taki116.
Tom Griswold
Our house was so out in the middle of nowhere, Banksy painted a cow. What do you think.
Chick McGee
You might be a redneck.
Tom Griswold
Yes, sir.
Christy Lee
Wow. If anybody out there has had this done, I'd like to hear from you.
Josh Arnold
Really?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I don't think I'd want a brand of cow. I don't think.
Chick McGee
I don't want to do that.
Tom Griswold
No, I could do that, man.
Christy Lee
Remember?
Chick McGee
I remember.
Christy Lee
Remember the steak brands that Christy got for us?
Josh Arnold
Yep. Did you ever use Them?
Christy Lee
No, no, Jeffrey, I'll explain. They were.
Tom Griswold
I broke them and laughed.
Christy Lee
They were. How would you. They were like metal. Stick with. With your name at the end in metal. So you'd heat them up. When you cooked a steak, you'd go. So you'd have your name right there on your steak.
Chick McGee
He could have said personalized branders.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, I would get you one because you.
Christy Lee
I think that would not have been clear to anyone.
Tom Griswold
I like it now. What are you talking about? Steak, Adam, you lost me there. What's a steak?
Chick McGee
Like the things you put tents in the ground with?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah. I'm really confused.
Christy Lee
The thing that I'll mark your grave with so I'll know where to go. Crap.
Tom Griswold
Right in the middle of the T bone. And the ribeye is where I go.
Josh Arnold
Well, that went.
Tom Griswold
So you're not pissing on my grave.
Chick McGee
Which. What steak is it?
Christy Lee
That.
Jeff Oskay
It's this.
Chick McGee
It's the sirloin and the filet altogether.
Jeff Oskay
Porterhouse.
Chick McGee
That's a porterhouse house.
Tom Griswold
No.
Chick McGee
You ever had a porterhouse?
Christy Lee
No.
Tom Griswold
It's the furloin.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, my bad.
Tom Griswold
Use your brain.
Chick McGee
Come on.
Tom Griswold
I still say I don't understand what prime rib is. You go to a restaurant, Delicious order prime rib.
Chick McGee
I know, Wonderful.
Tom Griswold
If I go to the grocery store and get the meat guy, give me a prime rib.
Josh Arnold
They will. But it's a big hunk.
Tom Griswold
I don't know what.
Josh Arnold
He doesn't look like a roast almost.
Tom Griswold
He looks at me like I.
Chick McGee
He be thick or thin, depending on how you want it.
Tom Griswold
You can cut it, right?
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Christy Lee
It's just delicious.
Tom Griswold
Let's face it. Unsuccessful.
Christy Lee
Now, coming up. What have you got over there, Christy Lee?
Josh Arnold
Coming up, the Cinderella rule. I don't know if you guys have heard that.
Christy Lee
I. What? I know. It's one of these new. They keep inventing all this crap that you have to know.
Chick McGee
Cinderelli. Cinderelli.
Christy Lee
It doesn't involve Cinderella.
Josh Arnold
It does not involve pumpkins and mice.
Christy Lee
Sounds like a shoe fetish thing.
Chick McGee
Have you ever seen Cinder Fellow with Jerry Lewis?
Tom Griswold
Amazing. Wonderful.
Chick McGee
As funny as movies get.
Tom Griswold
Yep. Some say a rare misstep, but I say no. No. I say no. It's all there, Cinder fella.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Josh Arnold
Oh, boy.
Chick McGee
It's very good.
Tom Griswold
The bell boy.
Chick McGee
I love the bellboy. That might be my favorite.
Tom Griswold
Amazing.
Chick McGee
When he sets up the chairs. Oh, go, go. Watch this. Okay, listen to us for Jerry Lewis is Out There.
Tom Griswold
Jerry Lewis is Out There to be watched.
Christy Lee
Wrench it. Right now. Right now. The Bob and Time show is sponsored by Better Help Better help is all about accessing therapy. And it's a relatively new idea. It's been around for a while, so much so that 5 million people are being served by better help by some 30,000 therapists. What it's all about is access to therapy because the therapy is done online. So let's just say you've got some stress at work or maybe stress in your love life or stress in your family life. Perhaps therapy could be helpful for you. If you've been thinking about it, this is a much easier way to access that therapy because the therapy's done online. So you can do it at your convenience where you want to do it. You just do it with your phone or your laptop or whatever you got so that you can get hooked up by going to betterhelp.com I recommend going to betterhelp.com BTShow because that will knock 10% off your first month. By the way, BetterHelp has an App Store rating of 4.9 out of 5 from nearly 2 million reviews. That's just outstanding. So find out why people like this. If you've been thinking about therapy. And one of the hurdles of therapy for some is going across town being in an office with someone you don't know for the first time. And it's very awkward. By the way, you can switch therapists with better help anytime. No additional fees are involved. And they have therapists with a wide variety of, let's just say, fields of expertise. So if you want to talk about something with some talk therapy, go for it. Unwind from maybe that work stress or whatever it is on your mind. Bob and Tom show listeners, once again, 10% off your first month at betterhelp.com btshow that's better help. H E L P E betterhelp.com btshow we are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show. Hey, thanks for listening to the Bob and Tom show this morning. Get a look. And today's show on our YouTube channel. What?

Christy Lee
Hello, Chick McGee.
Tom Griswold
Yes, sir.
Christy Lee
Enjoyed that sports broadcast.
Tom Griswold
Thank you very much.
Christy Lee
Very nice.
Chick McGee
Tom, have you ever, have you ever looked somebody in the face and said, you're fired?
Christy Lee
No, I have not. I've got to be.
Josh Arnold
No, he has People. For that there's gotta be.
Tom Griswold
You know, I had to do that one time. I was. For a brief shining moment, I was in charge of people and budgets and the whole thing.
Christy Lee
Where was this?
Tom Griswold
Springfield, Ohio. And I.
Christy Lee
You were like the program director.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. And I had. I go, we're just gonna have to let you go.
Christy Lee
Oh.
Tom Griswold
And he understood, right? Really Nice.
Chick McGee
But that's. I don't want to ever be in that position.
Tom Griswold
But I didn't have to fire him. The guy, the owner didn't like him, is why I had to let him go.
Chick McGee
Yeah, but I like the idea of a boss who doesn't mind that you're fired.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, I think like that.
Tom Griswold
You're fired.
Josh Arnold
She does that.
Chick McGee
I'm sorry, but you.
Jeff Oskay
I've fired like 50 people in.
Chick McGee
What?
Jeff Oskay
When I was a kitchen manager at a bar.
Tom Griswold
No kidding.
Chick McGee
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
We would have people just show up just drunk out of their minds. I actually. I'll say it. I fired my daughter's dad. He used to work for me, and I fired him one day.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Go home. Thanks for coming in.
Christy Lee
Hang on a second. Your daughter's so dad.
Jeff Oskay
Their dad used to work for me.
Chick McGee
Well, he.
Jeff Oskay
My stepdaughters.
Christy Lee
Oh, okay, clarify.
Jeff Oskay
You're right. I'm sorry. My stepdaughters, they call them bonus daughters.
Josh Arnold
Steps.
Jeff Oskay
Okay. My bonus daughters. Their dad used to be my employee.
Tom Griswold
I don't think that bonus thing's gonna catch up.
Jeff Oskay
This was before I was with their mom and.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Josh Arnold
Oh, so you knew him first before you knew her?
Jeff Oskay
I knew both of them together. They worked together as a couple.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Were you bird dogging his woman? Sounds like you were bird dogging her.
Jeff Oskay
I don't know what that means, but maybe. I don't know.
Chick McGee
You were, weren't you?
Christy Lee
You. I. I don't know what it means. I'm completely lost.
Chick McGee
Sometimes you just have to listen.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, well, what do you think it is?
Jeff Oskay
They were a couple that worked at the same place. Because everyone loves that when a husband and wife work together, there's never any trouble.
Tom Griswold
Oscar walks up and sees the car. Hi. How you doing? Hey. What you doing? That's bird dogging.
Christy Lee
Okay, I see. So that was awesome. Awkward, certainly. Christine.
Jeff Oskay
It was awkward when the girls found out a few weeks ago.
Josh Arnold
Oh, they didn't know?
Jeff Oskay
No, they had no idea. And they're like, have you ever fired anyone? I was like, yeah, I fired your dad.
Tom Griswold
You made dad cry?
Jeff Oskay
No, he didn't cry. He didn't care.
Christy Lee
Makes it easy to hit on her. Hey, your Husband can't even keep a job.
Chick McGee
Yeah, that's.
Christy Lee
That's a good move.
Chick McGee
You fire the guy and they go.
Christy Lee
What a loser.
Chick McGee
I heard he just got fired.
Christy Lee
Yeah. I'm not sure I get it, what happened. But how about you, Chris? Have you ever. Had you ever been in charge of anything?
Josh Arnold
No, I've never fired anybody.
Christy Lee
You kind of fired a couple husbands.
Josh Arnold
Wow.
Tom Griswold
Oh, were all those your idea?
Josh Arnold
No, not all of them.
Chick McGee
So you're saying you would still like to be with one of those?
Christy Lee
No. Very helpful.
Tom Griswold
Hang on a second. I remember now. No one specifically. I apologize. Go ahead.
Josh Arnold
And the first one, you know, he didn't realize that, you know, when you get married, you can't date anymore. I don't know if you know that. That's kind of.
Christy Lee
Some people don't understand that.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Chick McGee
It's hard for them to wrap.
Christy Lee
Very confusing. Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Well, this puts a whole new shine on things.
Christy Lee
Oh. With my credit card.
Tom Griswold
Oh, okay.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Nothing wrong with that.
Tom Griswold
Oh, see, I remember that, too. I don't want to. I don't want to know these things.
Christy Lee
I'm so sorry. Where were we? Oh, oh, oh. I did look that thing up about you. This is going back about five stories about the. The golf. The albatross. Yeah, the albatross in golf. Which is what? A. A two on a par five.
Chick McGee
I asked if it was more rare than a hole in one because you just.
Tom Griswold
I asked because I love the sound of my voice.
Chick McGee
I asked question. I. I often ask questions just so I can speak. You understand.
Christy Lee
Apparently, it's only happened four times in the history of the pga.
Tom Griswold
Four times?
Christy Lee
Really?
Josh Arnold
Well, that's. I mean, a two.
Chick McGee
Oh, it just.
Josh Arnold
Five.
Tom Griswold
I want to say it just happened twice this year, I think. And I. And it trickles down to me. I don't watch golf a lot.
Christy Lee
It says, patrick Reed aced a rare double Eagle at the US Open Open on June 12, 2025.
Chick McGee
I have many questions, but it would. I would only be asking them.
Christy Lee
So it said. It marked. It marked the fourth albatross in u. S. Open history.
Josh Arnold
Wow.
Tom Griswold
Huh. But that was this year, right?
Christy Lee
Yeah. June. June 12, 2025. Yep. That's.
Tom Griswold
This year checks out.
Christy Lee
Four times.
Tom Griswold
Wow.
Chick McGee
Yeah, that's.
Christy Lee
That's quite a shot. If you're that far away. Can you even see it go in?
Chick McGee
Well, I've always wondered stuff like that. How do you know?
Tom Griswold
So if it's like, you know, what? 580, 590 on a par five, give or take, close to 600 yards.
Josh Arnold
So you're hitting two drivers depending.
Tom Griswold
Depending on that first shot. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Nice shooting.
Josh Arnold
Now that's good luck.
Christy Lee
Time to check in with Christy Lee at the SILAC insurance news desk. What have we got?
Josh Arnold
We have the Cinderella rule, ladies and gentlemen.
Christy Lee
What's that?
Josh Arnold
Thank you for asking, Josh. See, I thank him, you give me dirty looks.
Christy Lee
This stuff. I think interns at Cosmo make this stuff up and it ends up circulating on the Internet.
Josh Arnold
This is from Metro uk. Relationship experts say the so called Cinderella rule can actually make scheduled sex a turn on. Alice Giddings, Metro UK's dedicated sex and relationship reporter.
Tom Griswold
Yes, I've never had sex personally recommend setting.
Chick McGee
Oh, to be rogered.
Josh Arnold
Vigorously recommends setting a cutoff point in your head for when intimacy is off the table, which removes the anxiety about being exhausted the next morning. For example.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Josh Arnold
If you turn into a pumpkin, so to speak, at 10:30, they call me Peter pumpkin eater. It means. Means the cutoff time for intimacy is about a half hour before that.
Christy Lee
So wait a minute.
Josh Arnold
So you have to be done with sex by 10?
Christy Lee
That.
Tom Griswold
What do they have?
Christy Lee
Oh, I see.
Tom Griswold
Oh, like a timer there.
Christy Lee
The notion. The notion is you set this up with your significant other.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Say from. Oh, honey. From between 9 and 10 tonight.
Tom Griswold
But.
Chick McGee
And this story is claiming that some people find this to be hot.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. She says, not only does the Cinderella rule give you and your partner a window to initiate intimacy, it also gives you time to build anticipation.
Christy Lee
How do you get the glass slipper on your junk?
Chick McGee
Yes. Does it say anything about that?
Josh Arnold
It does not.
Jeff Oskay
Does it say anything about banging her stepsisters?
Josh Arnold
No, it doesn't say that.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. What about bird dog and her stepsister?
Chick McGee
So Cinderella, when it comes to sex, it's called the Cinderella rule. Cinderella rule. I would prefer a Cinderella rule to be. To be about starting a heavy conversation as I roll over to go to sleep.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah.
Chick McGee
Can we do something about that?
Josh Arnold
That's always fun, isn't it?
Christy Lee
Now, Josh, explain the one you were explaining to me off the air. The doordash rule.
Chick McGee
The doordash rule is when you order doordash.
Christy Lee
Right.
Chick McGee
It says, well, it'll be there in 38 minutes.
Christy Lee
You got to knock it off.
Chick McGee
You got to try to beat the band.
Christy Lee
Yeah, right. Okay. Which for you. Difficult because of the.
Chick McGee
The ssri.
Christy Lee
I'm on serotonin enhancement.
Chick McGee
Then you take.
Tom Griswold
So you. You set a. A timer for yourself or the food sits on the porch.
Christy Lee
You tell the doordash, can I take your time? I gotta get this thing up and running.
Chick McGee
Have I ever let food sit on the porch because I knew I was only 2 or 3 minutes away? Read the book. That's right.
Christy Lee
Josh.
Jeff Oskay
If you thought it was bad with women wanting to talk about something right as you're falling asleep, wait till you have children. And you try putting one of them to bed. And they ask, is Jesus real? Or why are you and mom not together anymore?
Chick McGee
It's like we had all day to talk about this.
Jeff Oskay
It's 9:30 and now you want to talk about this?
Tom Griswold
Why did you fire my real dad?
Christy Lee
Exactly.
Jeff Oskay
Little things like that. Kids are amazing at that at bedtime.
Tom Griswold
Wow.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
They want to know the most complicated stuff right at bedtime.
Christy Lee
By the way, I think it's interesting that this. This newspaper, whatever it is, has a dedicated sex reporter.
Josh Arnold
Well, of course. Yeah. She gives you some weight.
Christy Lee
Yes, exactly. Totally fake.
Tom Griswold
Hi. Josh Arnold, Los Angeles Times sex editor. Can I ask you a couple of questions?
Chick McGee
How are you? You like to do it. You do?
Tom Griswold
All right.
Josh Arnold
His Giddings has some ways you can get in the mood. Maybe scheduling connection. Time that focuses on building desire.
Tom Griswold
Oh, not the puzzle connection.
Josh Arnold
No, not that. Porn dosing. Have you ever heard this?
Chick McGee
Oh, is this to watch porn? To get you in the mood?
Josh Arnold
Listening to audio porn in short bursts throughout the week for a pleasure boost?
Chick McGee
What am I, Stevie Wonder?
Tom Griswold
Why do I have to listen to audio porn?
Josh Arnold
Why is it audio porn? That's a great question.
Christy Lee
Is there special porn just for the blonde mind?
Chick McGee
Yes. Yeah, we. Yeah, we've.
Jeff Oskay
There's a whole website for it.
Chick McGee
In fact, we've heard tapes. Yeah, yeah.
Josh Arnold
Remember, we had.
Christy Lee
So it's. It's a little. A little more descriptive than your average. So there's more than just grunting.
Jeff Oskay
But it's not really sexy.
Chick McGee
No, it's very.
Josh Arnold
In fact, sometimes the lady was reading it like she was bored out of it.
Chick McGee
She sounded like the narrator from Autopsy.
Christy Lee
Is it. So it's an authoritative voice going, oh, yes. He does this, she does that.
Chick McGee
And in fact, it's like a, a, a. There was some judgment to her outfit, if I remember correctly.
Josh Arnold
It was like wearing that dress.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Casually. Yeah.
Chick McGee
A business. Casually dressed woman enters a room.
Tom Griswold
So Autopsy woman.
Chick McGee
Jason's telling you, I think that we have something.
Tom Griswold
Marlene Sanders is my. One of my voice.
Christy Lee
We have. Wait a minute. I gotta find it when we come back. How about that? We'll touch base with this when we return.
Tom Griswold
We're gonna have porn when we come back?
Christy Lee
Apparently. Yeah. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Part Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show. Add to or continue the conversation. Check out the Bob and Tom show on Facebook. Get the link@bobandtom.com this is the Bob and Tom Show.
Tom Griswold
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. Christy Lee at the Silac Insurance news desk.
Josh Arnold
Hi.
Tom Griswold
There's Jeff Hoskay.
Christy Lee
Yep.
Tom Griswold
Pat Godwin quit. There's Josh Arnold.
Chick McGee
Hi.
Tom Griswold
Ace Cosby's here. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. I'm Chick. Hello, Tom.
Christy Lee
Hello, Chick McGee. We failed again today to do something important.
Josh Arnold
What was that?
Christy Lee
So tomorrow we'll have a special feature yesterday in history.
Chick McGee
Ah, okay.
Tom Griswold
Yesterday.
Christy Lee
Okay. Sorry. My fault.
Tom Griswold
So we can't.
Chick McGee
It's really not your fault. A good producer would come in and remind you to do it.
Tom Griswold
We can't do it right now.
Christy Lee
But what we can do. I asked the following question. Christie had a really dumb article about something called the. The Cinderella rule.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Why you dig this crap up?
Tom Griswold
And why was it the Cinderella rule? What was it?
Christy Lee
It's.
Josh Arnold
It's something about you have to. You have to be done with intimate activity by a certain time.
Christy Lee
In other words, you would say to your significant significant other, if we don't do it by 10:30, it's not. It's off.
Josh Arnold
Right. I have to go to bed. I have to be in bed.
Christy Lee
No sense. It really.
Chick McGee
Yeah, it does.
Christy Lee
I mean, if you're scheduling something. It just seems ridiculous to me.
Chick McGee
I know that the idea of intimacy is spontaneity and stuff like it, but sometimes, I mean, people.
Josh Arnold
And people are busy.
Chick McGee
Yeah, the kids and bedtimes and they're.
Tom Griswold
Too busy for it.
Chick McGee
Yeah. If you got a planet, go ahead and plan it.
Christy Lee
But that led to a discussion about sex. One of those. One of those.
Tom Griswold
Sweet, sweet.
Christy Lee
I'm sorry, what's her name? She's a sexologist or sexographer or whatever.
Chick McGee
Jenna Jameson.
Christy Lee
And she recommended. What was it? Listening to porno.
Josh Arnold
It said porn dosing. Listening to audio porn and short bursts.
Christy Lee
No one. No one. No one on earth calls it that.
Josh Arnold
For a pleasure boost and help build anticipation. Well, this was written in the UK, so they.
Christy Lee
No one in the UK's ever.
Chick McGee
Well, it's her doctor. This is her specialty we're just now learning about.
Christy Lee
She's making all this crap.
Josh Arnold
Oh, my God.
Chick McGee
Most doctors do, but.
Tom Griswold
Tina Throat. Have you ever seen her.
Chick McGee
Tina Throw. She just gets right to it.
Tom Griswold
She is amazing.
Chick McGee
Ironically, an anal queen.
Christy Lee
Yes, now that's right. So this led to a discussion of. Is there pornography for the Blind. And we actually have. This is not fake. This is.
Tom Griswold
I found this uncomfortable when we played it and I think I will find it that way again.
Christy Lee
And so apparently this is a narrator, I gather, discussing what's happening in. Is this person. This person is watching an actual pornographic film. Is that right? Here we go. A white woman in a cheap looking red power suit sits next to a tall, lanky white middle aged man with brown hair, a white shirt, gray suit.
Josh Arnold
And a red striped tie cut to.
Christy Lee
A side shot inside the cab. And a girl gets in. Black hair, lots of vacation, and squeezing a nice curvy figure into a tight blue dress.
Josh Arnold
She is very. I mean, what are you gonna do?
Chick McGee
It's.
Tom Griswold
What do you mean? You're gonna leave us hanging? You don't leave me hanging.
Chick McGee
Well, there's nothing hotter than cab porn. What's wrong?
Tom Griswold
Have you seen Fake Taxi?
Chick McGee
I am aware of Fake Taxi, yes.
Christy Lee
What's Fake Taxi?
Chick McGee
I've never actually clipped on it, but I. Oh, I have. I'm assuming it's.
Tom Griswold
Wait a minute.
Jeff Oskay
It's a. It's a cabbie in. Picks up ladies and while he's driving them to their location, they. He starts flirting with them and then they invite him into the back seat so he has to pull over on the side of the road and service the ladies.
Tom Griswold
I see. Yes, they are just.
Christy Lee
Is this. Is this actually filmed in a taxi cab?
Chick McGee
Does it keep the meter running?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, yeah, it's filmed inside an actual. Or fake.
Chick McGee
Like one of those great freight London taxes or whatever.
Jeff Oskay
Exactly.
Josh Arnold
Oh, wow.
Christy Lee
They still have those? I was pleased.
Chick McGee
Yeah. I hope they never go away.
Jeff Oskay
But the theory is these are just random ladies waiting, catching a cab.
Chick McGee
British porn. They throw words like spunk around.
Tom Griswold
I have spunk in my hair.
Chick McGee
Yeah, give me all your spunk.
Christy Lee
Really?
Chick McGee
Thanks. I don't want to hear fanks.
Christy Lee
The only F you want is rock. Rhymes with a Latin. Okay, I'm sorry. Christy Lee's right over there. I can see her. She is.
Tom Griswold
Thanks for the spunk at her post.
Josh Arnold
Well, if the Cinderella rule doesn't work, maybe a sleep divorce could help in your relationship.
Tom Griswold
I'm interested to hear what this is.
Chick McGee
Chick and I differ on this.
Josh Arnold
Sleeping in separate beds. Could it actually bring couples closer together?
Tom Griswold
No, no.
Chick McGee
See, I think.
Christy Lee
I think it can. We don't. But I think it could.
Chick McGee
I think it absolutely can.
Christy Lee
I think.
Tom Griswold
I think it absolute.
Christy Lee
Why did he.
Tom Griswold
The man who's never been in any sort of relationship.
Chick McGee
I've had long relationships. I have.
Josh Arnold
Have you lived with someone?
Chick McGee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Have you been legally entangled?
Chick McGee
No.
Tom Griswold
Bogus.
Chick McGee
But didn't your sleep divorce start because there were. There were problems.
Tom Griswold
There were other women. Yes.
Chick McGee
So what. What I'm saying is this is a sleep divorce where there are no other problems. They are.
Tom Griswold
No, it started out. Certainly it started out with no other problems.
Chick McGee
Oh, I got you. Okay.
Josh Arnold
Experts say a so called sleep divorce where couples sleep apart may improve rest and relationship satisfaction. Dr. Alex Mellor explains that mismatched sleep schedules, snoring, temperature differences or restless legs can leave both partners sleep deprived.
Christy Lee
Stop right there. This isn't a big issue with me. Kelly likes to keep the room at a level where you could store meat. Ah, yeah, it is. It's freezing.
Tom Griswold
I love it that day in our bedroom. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Well, she's. She's planning ahead. I mean, at some point she's gonna have to call paramedics.
Tom Griswold
She's gonna have to identify the bodies. They don't keep it very warm.
Christy Lee
If I go in my sleep, the rigor mortise set in slower room.
Tom Griswold
Did you say if?
Christy Lee
But no, I. That isn't a big deal for me. But it. I certainly. If she were not there, I would crank up the thermostat to something in the, I don't know, over 50 degrees Fahrenheit area.
Tom Griswold
I think studies have shown the colder it is, the better you sleep.
Christy Lee
When she was in college, she slept.
Josh Arnold
In the cold air dorm.
Christy Lee
Yeah, the cold air dorm. So she's really used to that. But I mean, if you've got a really bad snorer or. What is that thing that Godwin has?
Chick McGee
Night farts.
Josh Arnold
Sleep apnea.
Christy Lee
Sleep apnea.
Josh Arnold
If you're on a cpap.
Christy Lee
Yeah, he's got that machine.
Tom Griswold
Habitual liar.
Christy Lee
Rat. A tatta rat. A tatta rat. A tat. A rat. A tattoo.
Tom Griswold
No, it's pocket. A pocket. A pocket.
Christy Lee
Oh, pocket. A pocket. A pocket. A pocket.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Studies show when one person has a sleep disorder, their partner's rest often suffers too, leading to tensions during waking hours. While sleeping separately can feel lonely. Lonely. Or reduce physical intimacy. Many couples report better energy, fewer arguments, and even improved closeness after better rest.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
And I would say. I would. I would say separate bathrooms.
Josh Arnold
And. Oh, we have that.
Chick McGee
And I'm not talking to Jack Jill situation.
Tom Griswold
No, no, that is a bigger deal.
Josh Arnold
We have separate floors with the bathroom.
Chick McGee
Even better.
Christy Lee
What?
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Christy Lee
He has to go up. Up the stairs.
Josh Arnold
He goes down the stairs. He's got a basement bathroom.
Tom Griswold
Hi. Hey.
Josh Arnold
And a closet and a bathroom.
Tom Griswold
Hey, Tom, this is Andy.
Christy Lee
Hey. Andy, how's it going?
Tom Griswold
I swear to God, right?
Chick McGee
Yes.
Tom Griswold
You queer this deal for me. I got her thinking it's her idea. Okay, don't worry about it.
Christy Lee
Who wants to go downstairs in the middle of the night?
Josh Arnold
Well, he can pee upstairs bathroom, but I mean like his showering and all done upstairs.
Tom Griswold
You have a rag in your, your bathroom.
Christy Lee
What?
Josh Arnold
A rag.
Tom Griswold
You know, for after.
Christy Lee
What?
Josh Arnold
Oh my God.
Tom Griswold
You know, to clean up.
Christy Lee
You know something? Every once in a while I wonder why on earth he's here. And then I realize he should clean.
Tom Griswold
Up the spot spunk.
Christy Lee
All right.
Josh Arnold
What you need rag for a nice warm towel?
Christy Lee
I'll talk to you because I just remembered another thing we had.
Chick McGee
Thanks for the spunk.
Christy Lee
Do you remember? Does anyone remember this one? The Scandinavian sleep method?
Chick McGee
No, what's that?
Christy Lee
Popularized in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, it promotes the use of employing two twin blankets.
Chick McGee
Oh, I thought in bed my grandparents did that.
Josh Arnold
We have a comforter that zips up the middle so his side has got nothing in it and mine has a bunch of down in it because Andy sleeps. He's really a hot sleeper. And I freeze. So we have that.
Tom Griswold
I'm a sleep.
Christy Lee
So Josh, in other words, you're in the same bed, but you have your own space. So you could have your little Star wars blankie and, and your, and your lady friend could have.
Chick McGee
Have you met your sons? You, you, you judge me on I.
Tom Griswold
I. Yeah, he has every Lego ever made.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, Sam's a walking toy store.
Tom Griswold
I just got the latest 9s4/j.
Chick McGee
I would never have something so dorky as a Star wars blanket. I have my Chucky blanket.
Tom Griswold
There you go.
Christy Lee
Well, very enlightening. Thank you very much, Chris.
Josh Arnold
We have a guest coming up.
Christy Lee
I'm so excited. One of the very funniest guys we've talked to in recent years. He is Joe Dombrowski, comedian. He's coming up next. Very, very excited about that right now. I want to remind you, when you listen to Joe, he's going to sound a lot better if you got those Raycon earbuds in your ears.
Tom Griswold
You're right, Tom. Raycon's latest model. They sound better than ever. You say, how's that possible? Well, I don't know, but they did it. Christy Lee
Tom Coming up, comedian Joe Dombrowski. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Tom Griswold
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. There's Christie. Let's Dean. Hi, Josh. Arnold.
Chick McGee
Hi there.
Tom Griswold
Gonna slow things down. Yes. Jeff Oski.
Christy Lee
That's right.
Tom Griswold
That's right, baby. All right, babies. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. There's Ace. I'm Chick. Hello, Tom.
Christy Lee
Hello, Chick McGee. We're talking about some news story. It's. What is it called? Cinderella.
Josh Arnold
Sex Cinderella rule.
Christy Lee
Oh, the Cinderella rule.
Tom Griswold
You set a time limit, you gotta be out.
Christy Lee
Okay. Yep, I know Bill Cosby was into that Sleeping Beauty sex.
Chick McGee
Boy, wasn't he.
Christy Lee
Different fairy tale.
Tom Griswold
What a rascal. He was a rascal may still be.
Christy Lee
Who knows. We are doing some stuff electronically through the magic of a contemporary science.
Josh Arnold
We're trying to hook up with our guest. Why don't you just say it like a normal human being?
Christy Lee
Because like, people forget the. The great engineers in our culture are often overlooked. And we can thank them for so many wonderful things.
Chick McGee
No, no, no, no. Remember, Tom talks like he's trying to hit a word count on an essay.
Tom Griswold
Oh, many times I have wondered along with you as well.
Chick McGee
Right, right.
Tom Griswold
I'm not sure try to take that. What do you think about this situation currently going on?
Christy Lee
What we're trying to do is look, hook up with comedian Joe Dombrowski. He's a great comedian. I'm looking forward to talking to him.
Chick McGee
We sure had a great morning with him when he was in, didn't we?
Josh Arnold
Yes, we did. Very fun.
Chick McGee
I guess he didn't want to come back in.
Christy Lee
I believe he's out west. Ergo the need for the electronic gizmo thing. Thingamajig, if you will. But first we return something light hearted.
Josh Arnold
Ohio had to be rescued.
Christy Lee
What?
Tom Griswold
In Ohio?
Josh Arnold
A child in Ohio. Okay. Had to be rescued after getting stuck in a community center claw machine.
Chick McGee
Oh, sure, yeah.
Josh Arnold
We have this story about once a year, don't we?
Chick McGee
Boy, it's amazing.
Josh Arnold
First responders were called to the Mason Community center to help remove the child from a stuffed animal claw machine.
Christy Lee
I heard it took him. I heard it took them almost a hundred dollars in quarters before they. One of the guys was able to nail it.
Chick McGee
Oh, man.
Tom Griswold
All right, be cool. I almost got it.
Christy Lee
Be cool.
Josh Arnold
Police and EMS worked to open the back of the machine and let the uninjured child. Out.
Christy Lee
Out.
Josh Arnold
Security footage captured the rescue showed the child holding on to a large white stuffed animal afterwards.
Chick McGee
No, you don't get to keep it.
Josh Arnold
No, no, you're sending a wrong message.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I got an idea, Christy, for one of your next parties where you have your girlfriends over.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
How about a white claw machine?
Josh Arnold
There you go.
Christy Lee
You don't get to drink until you drop that gizmo down and pick up.
Josh Arnold
Pick up your white claw.
Christy Lee
Are those things rigged? Is there some kind of a, like, loose. Loose hinge that like every 40th time it actually kicks in?
Chick McGee
I don't know.
Josh Arnold
There was a guy in the Pork Pistols, though, that could hit those things every time. When we were on the road, we'd be on tour, he would win so many really dusty animals.
Christy Lee
Dusty stuff.
Josh Arnold
It was crazy.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
So there must be some kind of trick to it.
Christy Lee
I was just wondering if they were there was. If they were rigged or.
Josh Arnold
Todd Boner was his name, by the way.
Christy Lee
Okay. Okay. Interesting.
Josh Arnold
I know this wouldn't be in a claw machine. A grotesque looking teddy bear prompted police to respond at a California store because they thought it was made of human skin.
Christy Lee
Have you seen this thing?
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Have you seen the picture?
Christy Lee
No. This is. This is right up your alley.
Josh Arnold
According to the San Bernardino sun, police were called to a convenience store in Victorville after someone found a teddy bear that looked as though it had been made of human flesh. Stick stitched together.
Tom Griswold
I believe that's home of the Bun boy. Victorville. Victorville, is it? I think so.
Josh Arnold
The coroner determined the bear contained no human remains.
Chick McGee
My goodness.
Josh Arnold
The bear, valued at $165, was traced to horror artist Robert Kelly.
Chick McGee
Oh, all right, so they were. It was meant to look like.
Josh Arnold
Right. Of South Carolina, who sells such creations through his business, Dark Seed Creations.
Christy Lee
Do we have a photograph of this thing? Josh, you would love this.
Chick McGee
I've seen these. These kind of things at horror conventions in the booths.
Josh Arnold
Have you?
Chick McGee
Yeah, yeah.
Josh Arnold
He sells his on Etsy, I believe.
Chick McGee
Gotcha.
Josh Arnold
Kelly said the bear was part of a Recent Etsy order that was shipped to Victorville. Authorities arrested a 23 year old man in connection with the incident.
Chick McGee
Arrested?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, charging him with causing a false report and intentionally planting false evidence.
Chick McGee
Oh, so the guy was. He's okay.
Josh Arnold
Did it on purpose.
Chick McGee
Gotcha.
Christy Lee
Apparently.
Chick McGee
Well, that's even weirder.
Christy Lee
Yeah, and it, it looks like it's kind of a gruesome looking.
Chick McGee
Oh yeah, yeah, it's real gross.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Ed Gein were at Build a Bear.
Chick McGee
Yeah. Yes.
Christy Lee
And he built it.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Yeah. That's horrifying. If you found that you would be traumatized.
Christy Lee
Oh, the name of it should be Teddy Bundy.
Jeff Oskay
More like Build a Scare.
Christy Lee
Huh? Huh?
Josh Arnold
Huh?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
No, I don't know. I don't know which one's worse.
Christy Lee
Okay, I do believe we have got Joe Domi joining. There we go.
Josh Arnold
Hey, Joe.
Christy Lee
Oh, hello Joe. Are you awake and alert and alive somewhere on the west coast?
Joe Dombrowski
You know what?
Christy Lee
I am.
Joe Dombrowski
I'm so. I was so happy when your producer texted me because he texted me, he's like, hey, do you, do you want to come back on Bob and Tom? And I said he's still alive.
Chick McGee
Good news.
Joe Dombrowski
Excited?
Chick McGee
What are you having? A Moscow Mule?
Joe Dombrowski
Yeah, you know, Morning Juice.
Chick McGee
Oh, it looked like one of those copper.
Christy Lee
Since we last saw.
Joe Dombrowski
No, no, no.
Christy Lee
Since we last saw you. You've been out on the road, out and about. Are you actually home now?
Joe Dombrowski
Yes, I'm in Seattle for I think 12 more hours before I head to Springfield, Missouri.
Christy Lee
The land of promise. Let me tell you, one of my.
Chick McGee
Younger brothers lives there.
Christy Lee
Oh, well, maybe we can get him to come over and see the show. What's the name of the place you're going to be playing, Joe?
Joe Dombrowski
I'm going to be at the. The Blue Room, which is actually is one of my favorite rooms in the country because they have caves in Springfield. Did you know about this?
Chick McGee
Absolutely. Have you taken the tram through the Fantastic Caverns?
Joe Dombrowski
So I.
Christy Lee
The Fantastic Cavern. Cavern.
Joe Dombrowski
So the club owner picks me up, he takes me to the Fantastic Caverns.
Chick McGee
Okay, Right, right.
Joe Dombrowski
And he goes, he goes, you want.
Tom Griswold
To go down in some caves?
Christy Lee
Wait a minute.
Joe Dombrowski
This guy, this guy sends me down in the caves. I'm in the little cart to go into the Fantastic Cavern. He's like looking up at me. I'm in here by myself. Then I realized I was in the cavern, just me. And I had a mustache in the time, which is important in a cave full of fourth graders on a fourth grade field trip. I came out. I came out of this cave after a herd of fourth graders, a 6 foot 3 man with a mustache wearing a shirt that said I just rode the fantastic Cavern. I'm like, this is. There's something not okay.
Christy Lee
Joe Dombrowski is our guest. Joe, once again on his way to the Blue Room Comedy Club, Springfield, Missouri beginning tomorrow evening. Is that correct?
Joe Dombrowski
And Springfield followed by St. Louis, followed by Lexington, Kentucky.
Christy Lee
Oh, I see you're going to be in St. Louis, the 18th and 19th. That's Friday and Saturday at the Funny Bone, of course. And then Friday and Saturday, August 23rd and 24th, forth at the beautiful comedy Off Broadway in Lexington, Kentucky for some great stand up comedy with Joe Dombrowski. Joe, it's a great pleasure to see you. Is the. Are you currently in your home?
Joe Dombrowski
I'm, I'm in my house. I live in a house that's trapped in the 60s.
Josh Arnold
I was gonna say, do you live.
Joe Dombrowski
In a. Forgave my paneling.
Christy Lee
Yeah. I would think a man of your taste. I would think that the. If nothing else, a black curtain over the. That over the hideous fake walnut paneling.
Chick McGee
It looks like a church rec room.
Josh Arnold
Like my bedroom.
Joe Dombrowski
Well, I really wanted the theme in here. I was really going for something that reminded me of the AA meetings at the vfw. So I think I hit it on the head.
Christy Lee
Oh, wow. That is a. Is that an electrical outlet by the ceiling there? What is that?
Chick McGee
Or an intercom?
Joe Dombrowski
Yeah, this is an intercom. Tom, I don't know if you know, but when your house is gigantic, you can have an intercom.
Christy Lee
My place is relatively large. All. I just run to the stairs and scream and they don't hear me.
Joe Dombrowski
Well, God, don't say that out loud. Now they're gonna listen and it'll be on Dateline.
Chick McGee
Joe, in Springfield, Missouri, there's a restaurant called Lambert's. I don't know if you've been there yet. Where it's home of the throwed rolls.
Christy Lee
This is famous. We're not making this up, Joe. This is. They. They throw the rolls at you.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Christy Lee
Now I'm, I'm. Were you very athletic in school?
Joe Dombrowski
Wow, way to judge a horse by its butthole. I, I don't know if you need to know. I can catch a roll or two.
Christy Lee
Yeah. We keep threatening to go there and do a show.
Chick McGee
It's wonderful. Yeah.
Christy Lee
And are you allowed to bring in a mitt boy?
Chick McGee
I, you know, I think it's frowned upon. Okay.
Joe Dombrowski
You know, the role fest. I'm really fascinated with this story, but can, you know, last time I was on the show we were talking about your shirt. Can we address it this time around? Because last time we've had.
Chick McGee
I was wearing a. One of my. A car heart. A flannel car heart shirt. Yeah.
Joe Dombrowski
And we've upgraded to something with Cole's cash.
Josh Arnold
Summer Dickies.
Chick McGee
Yes. I wear the Dickies brand. The work shirt. Yeah, yeah.
Joe Dombrowski
You know, I'm feeling it, I'm feeling it. I think we've found. Found our niche.
Chick McGee
I think so.
Christy Lee
Now let's give, let's give a comedian, Joe Dombrowski a question he's not expecting. We were talking about this earlier. The so called walk up music, music in baseball in which the player will. They'll pick a song that is appropriate, has a certain maybe action level so they could walk up. And now in the world of comedy, often they play walk up music. Do you have a thing that you usually choose or was there something you've ever given this any thought at all?
Joe Dombrowski
I don't know if you guys remember, I'm originally from Detroit.
Christy Lee
Mm.
Joe Dombrowski
So my song actually is. Is back that ass up.
Christy Lee
That I.
Joe Dombrowski
Walk out to very proudly. Cuz I do got a little junk in the trunk.
Chick McGee
Do you know?
Joe Dombrowski
Oh, I do, I do.
Christy Lee
And I.
Joe Dombrowski
And I know how to use it and it knows how to catch a roll.
Christy Lee
Well, wow. I hope.
Josh Arnold
Make Tom very uncomfortable.
Christy Lee
You might want to get that tightened up.
Joe Dombrowski
Being on this show isn't helping. Oh my God. Can I tell you guys something?
Christy Lee
Okay.
Joe Dombrowski
Last time I joined you, I was in Indianapolis. Okay. And I'm not gonna lie, I didn't quite realize how intensely popular the show is.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Joe Dombrowski
And I went. I had just gotten done watching this murder mystery about this gay bar called Greg's. Okay. There's a bunch of people who are murdered there.
Chick McGee
Sure.
Joe Dombrowski
So I went to. I went to Gregg's after my show sidebar. I think they should have T shirts that say, I survived Greg. That's on them. These big ass, burly, corn fed, Indianapolis gay guys come up to me, I think I'm about to be murdered. And they look at me and they, they go, heard you on Bob and Tom this morning.
Christy Lee
Great job.
Joe Dombrowski
We're going to come to the show tonight. I was like, this is incredible. Everywhere I went in the city, people were like, heard you on Bob and Tom. Heard you on Bob and Tom. I'm like, what show did I go on? It was fantastic. Your fans are ravenous. Ravenous.
Chick McGee
Yes.
Christy Lee
I enjoyed. I've seen that documentary, by the way.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah.
Christy Lee
That's scary. And it's not Quite done there. There may be more to that murder thing. Very, very scary. Very scary. But I hopped on it.
Joe Dombrowski
I think you were talking about Ted Bundy, and now we're talking about this guy.
Christy Lee
So.
Joe Dombrowski
Yeah, I think this is the Halloween episode.
Christy Lee
That T shirt idea is actually pretty good. I mean, the fact that they didn't change the name and might be worth doing now.
Jeff Oskay
Joe, last time you were here, weren't you remodeling your house?
Christy Lee
House?
Jeff Oskay
Weren't you and your husband.
Joe Dombrowski
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
So you never made it to that room.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Okay, we're back to the room.
Joe Dombrowski
Well, actually, you know, we did. We are remodeling a house. Let me just make sure there's no incriminating information on this. But we just got done remodeling our nursery. We're having a baby.
Christy Lee
Hold that back up. I couldn't see that.
Josh Arnold
It was. It's just the ultrasound. Ultrasound.
Christy Lee
Oh, wow.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Oh, cool.
Josh Arnold
Right?
Christy Lee
Very good. Did they do the standard. Did they do the standard thing where they go, do you want to know if it's a boy or a girl? Did they ask you that? And did you say yes or no? And you don't have to answer any of these questions.
Joe Dombrowski
They did ask us that, but we actually, we did IVF and surrogacy, which is, you know, just as the Lord intended it.
Christy Lee
But they. We.
Joe Dombrowski
We knew. We knew going in.
Christy Lee
Oh, okay.
Tom Griswold
We. We were.
Christy Lee
And you don't have to tell us every time I've been there. I have never known.
Chick McGee
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
You never fell.
Josh Arnold
He's always surprised.
Christy Lee
It's always a surprise.
Josh Arnold
50. 50.
Christy Lee
But yeah. No, I've never known. It's. And it's. It just. I don't know.
Josh Arnold
You like that.
Christy Lee
Yeah. But also, I understand that it's you. One should not ask someone to. If they, you know. Now we. We do the big. The so called. We never did the gender reveal thing, which those big parties, I don't approve of. They usually end up in some kind of forest fire because of the. Yeah, well, the blue. The blue fireworks set the forest on fire.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I. I don't get it.
Joe Dombrowski
But the most amazing gender reveal that I saw was. Was somebody put a big balloon on the back of their motorcycle and they kept revving the engine. Revving the engine. And the balloon got bigger and bigger and bigger until it popped and let out some colorful smoke. Let me tell you what, Tell me why they did this inside their living room. I'm like, you're all gonna die. And the house that it was in did kind of Resemble this, which says a lot.
Christy Lee
Did you see the one where the. Wasn't it an alligator and there was the grandma in the wheelchair.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Christy Lee
And it got a little bit too close to her. Yeah, that, that was a ballsy Wait, what happened?
Josh Arnold
Oh, she survived. Don't worry.
Chick McGee
Why did they have the alligator? Was it gonna.
Jeff Oskay
They threw like a ball and when they bit through it, it released.
Chick McGee
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
But it did get close to grandma.
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah, yeah. People are in insane. If you want to see some great comedy starting tomorrow evening, if you're in Springfield, Missouri, it's Joe Dombrowski. A double thumbs up both Wednesday and Thursday evening and then Friday and Saturday at the funny bone in St. Louis. And then coming up Friday, Saturday in August, It'll be the 23rd and 24th, the great club Comedy off Broadway in Lexington, Kentucky, one of the most beautiful cities in America. America for some absolutely brilliant stand up comedy. And congratulations, I guess, are in order here, Joe.
Chick McGee
Yes. That's wonderful.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, thank you.
Joe Dombrowski
Thank you.
Christy Lee
Very excited.
Josh Arnold
When's baby coming? One month.
Joe Dombrowski
November. So it feels like tomorrow. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if I'm, I'm ready to be a dad. I still feel like a little boy myself.
Chick McGee
It's crazy.
Christy Lee
Again, a question you don't have to answer. You can give this a yes or no. Know, have you picked out a name and, or a set of names and are you on the same page with it, with your husband?
Joe Dombrowski
Let me tell you what, okay. For the new listeners. I was a teacher for 10 years, so now I'm an alcoholic. But it is very, very hard to name a baby when you used to be a teacher because my husband will throw out these names and I have to shut them all down. He's like, megan talker, Jenna talker, Jill, she pooped herself. But then he made, he was like, well, why don't you make a list of celebrity names and maybe that will jog something within us. And I said chaka Khan and he hates it. He thinks it's racially insensitive. I love it because can you picture two gay dads with a Chaka Khan and it's not a French bulldog? Like, that's a good name for baby. And I just want to go, I just want to go to school and be in the pickup line at parent pickup so I can look at this baby and yell for her and say, shaka gone, everybody.
Christy Lee
Shakhan, ladies and gentlemen, that's a closer. That's Joe. You are the best. You are so funny. And hey, congrats and hope to see you again soon. And I see for sure everyone see everyone go see Joe show.
Joe Dombrowski
Great to see you all.
Christy Lee
Thank you.
Joe Dombrowski
Thank you.
Christy Lee
Oh God, that guy is so.
Josh Arnold
What a fun man.
Christy Lee
I had no idea that question would lead to what a one of the funniest things he's ever said. Very, very nice. Right now if you want to be at home maybe chilling out, feeling confident.
Tom Griswold

Chick McGee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Josh Arnold. Hi, I'm Chick McGee in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. That's Ace. Hello, Tom. How are you doing?
Christy Lee
Just fine, thank you.
Tom Griswold
Super duper.
Christy Lee
Oh. Covered a lot of great ground today but we're not done. More ground to cover.
Tom Griswold
And we'll do that when we come back to cover the ground.
Christy Lee
No, but first of all we have.
Josh Arnold
To the Emmy nominations. Did you know that? The what Emmys.
Tom Griswold
Oh, I'm going to kill. I've seen everything. I bet I have great taste.
Christy Lee
I bet I've seen nothing.
Josh Arnold
Severance.
Christy Lee
Nope.
Josh Arnold
You haven't seen Severance, ladies and gentlemen.
Tom Griswold
That's the thing, Severance.
Christy Lee
I didn't.
Chick McGee
That end, like two years ago ago?
Tom Griswold
No.
Chick McGee
The Emmys are weird.
Tom Griswold
Second season, like a couple months ago. But I. There was no closure. I, I, I, I didn't care for Severance.
Chick McGee
Oh, I'm thinking of the HBO show with Brian Cox. What was that?
Tom Griswold
Oh, succession.
Chick McGee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Oh, no, this is the Adam Scott show.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, Same thing.
Josh Arnold
Like I try to. The Pit.
Tom Griswold
I love the Pit.
Josh Arnold
The White Lotus. They're all up.
Tom Griswold
Did not see White Lotus.
Josh Arnold
On the comedy side, another apple show. Rogan's Hollywood satire that you like. Like the studio.
Tom Griswold
I like that. All right.
Josh Arnold
Yep. Vying for recognition from veterans, like hacks.
Christy Lee
The pit's great. That's the medical show. But what is the one about the bear? Is that still considered a comedy? Wasn't that the big controversy?
Josh Arnold
The bear is still listed as a comedy.
Christy Lee
Why?
Josh Arnold
I don't know. I have not watched this season. Have you watched this season yet?
Christy Lee
I have not. I gave up on it.
Josh Arnold
I kind of gave up on it too.
Christy Lee
Were they?
Josh Arnold
Maybe I'll try again.
Christy Lee
The episode where the guy puts dope in the kid's birthday, I hated it. I said, I'm done.
Chick McGee
I was like, oh, this is okay. Sitcom trope in what's considered a louded is a masterpiece show. No, thanks.
Tom Griswold
Oh, it was a masterpiece.
Chick McGee
It's as overrated a TV show as I've ever seen in my life in.
Christy Lee
Any of good acting.
Tom Griswold
But you've been alive a long time.
Christy Lee
Why is it considered a. I don't know.
Chick McGee
So that it will win awards.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Chick McGee
That's why it can't go up against the drama.
Tom Griswold
It just can't. It's only a half hour long.
Christy Lee
I see.
Josh Arnold
Well, among limited series, adolescent seems likely to dominate both nominations and awards. Have you seen that?
Christy Lee
No, Never heard of it. Okay.
Josh Arnold
Well.
Tom Griswold
Well, you know what?
Chick McGee
I hate award shows.
Tom Griswold
What I like about you, Tom, is you give everything a chance.
Josh Arnold
What about Love Island? Are you on Love Island?
Tom Griswold
What about Love Island?
Chick McGee
I hope it sinks. I don't know anything about it.
Christy Lee
It's. For some reason, it's huge. One of my daughters is watching it.
Josh Arnold
My kids watch it.
Christy Lee
I walked in the room and he hated everything about it and everyone in it.
Tom Griswold
Everything about it and everyone in it.
Chick McGee
I mean, Love Island. Is it exactly what it sounds like?
Josh Arnold
Yeah. They put a bunch of single people out on an island and they all.
Chick McGee
God bless it. Go outside.
Jeff Oskay
Well, they are. They're on an island.
Chick McGee
Oh, you people.
Tom Griswold
Oh, oh, you mean us.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Chick McGee
Oscar. What do you know? You could be fishing.
Tom Griswold
I'm not gonna go outside.
Josh Arnold
Amaya and Brian, winners.
Chick McGee
You're not.
Christy Lee
How does one win the show?
Josh Arnold
May I'm Brian.
Chick McGee
Where you're winning by looking into the camera and going, what am I doing with my life? And walking on my favorite. That would be a winner.
Josh Arnold
Public vote.
Tom Griswold
My favorite part is all those shows. There always is a scene where somebody on the show goes, I don't know how this happened. Oh, yeah, you signed up for it. So I auditioned.
Josh Arnold
Shop exits. It's just.
Christy Lee
No, but I mean, are they. These people arrive as couples or are they.
Josh Arnold
No, they're all singles.
Christy Lee
Okay. And then you win by hooking up with some. Someone.
Josh Arnold
Yes. You become a couple.
Tom Griswold
That's right. On Love island and scoring points for.
Chick McGee
How know when they change it to love. Russian roulette. Maybe I'll watch.
Josh Arnold
The young show brings young singles together.
Tom Griswold
The next one will be your night with the gun. Spin the chamber and.
Christy Lee
Oh, we got a winner.
Josh Arnold
The winning couple won $100,000, the ultimate goal of the show. Not winning the money, but of course, finding love.
Christy Lee
So what do they get to do? They have to give the money back if they get divorced like they do in all these shows.
Josh Arnold
Married. They're just in love. They don't have to get married.
Chick McGee
So they can just say they're in love and each get 50 grand.
Tom Griswold
It's love island, not Marriage island.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Thank you, chick.
Tom Griswold
Thank you.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Josh Arnold
I knew you'd be pissed about anal.
Chick McGee
Island, where the first guy to talk the girl into anal wins.
Tom Griswold
Honey, come on. The classic you would if you loved me.
Josh Arnold
It started as a show in Britain, which my kids started watching a long time ago, and then it was so popular that they made it a.
Christy Lee
What do they do? I don't. They don't do anything like Survivor or their games.
Josh Arnold
No, they walk around in bathing suits and drink and party. And.
Tom Griswold
What about them? What about the show that only shows the people naked from the.
Josh Arnold
Oh, naked In a naked down.
Tom Griswold
No, no.
Chick McGee
This is afraid.
Tom Griswold
No, this is like a game show. And the presenters there.
Josh Arnold
It's British and they couldn't see anything.
Tom Griswold
But we talked about. Yes, but they're dork in their midsection and then they. And when they're. When they're kicked off, they show you their face.
Chick McGee
I actually kind of liked that because it was sort of taking the piss out of all the. It was like, let's just cut to the chase.
Tom Griswold
Speaking of piss, I was alarmed at how much I didn't want to stare at a man's penis on a 75 inch television. I, I, I found it unsettling. I couldn't do it.
Christy Lee
Yeah, well, well, thank you very much. Much, Christy.
Josh Arnold
You're welcome. I knew you'd be upset about it.
Christy Lee
No, no, I couldn't care less.
Josh Arnold
I, there's, but everybody's talking about Love Island.
Tom Griswold
What have you seen on tv? The winner that you remember that you would vote for if, if for an award.
Christy Lee
The Pit.
Tom Griswold
The Pit, Yeah.
Christy Lee
I also like that thing with Jon Ham. Your friends and neighbors.
Josh Arnold
Friends and neighbors. I haven't watched that yet.
Christy Lee
Yeah, it's been referred to as, as quote, unquote, luxury porn.
Josh Arnold
Oh, really?
Christy Lee
Yeah, there's a lot of name dropping of.
Tom Griswold
Oh, okay. Various, like your products and things.
Chick McGee
Tom Ford glasses.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, yeah, that sounds horrible.
Tom Griswold
Nice.
Christy Lee
Oh, you'd love it, Christy. It's all the kind of stuff that you envy and want to have.
