Gordon
You are El Conquistador?
El Conquistador
Yes. Yes. And I would like to make an appointment to come down and test drive a Mercedes.
Gordon
Yes, sir.
El Conquistador
It is important that I am not addressed as sir. I am not a sir. I am El Conquistador and Affirmative.
Josh Arnold
Affirmative.
El Conquistador
It is very important that I only be addressed in that fashion as El Conquistador.
Gordon
Could you say it for me, El Conquistador.
Christy Lee
What?
Gordon
Would you like to drive, sir?
El Conquistador
I am not a sir.
Gordon
I'm sorry.
El Conquistador
I am El Conquistador.
Gordon
Brother, let me say one thing. I've come from the south here. My parents brought me up to say, yes, sir. Yes, ma'. Am. No, ma'.
El Conquistador
Am.
Gordon
Yes, sir. Yes, ma'.
Pat Godwin
Am.
Gordon
No, ma'.
El Conquistador
Am.
Gordon
I understand for being. Being polite, but I.
El Conquistador
No, that's. That is. That is not my title. I am not a sir. I am El Conquistador. It's a title that has been in my family for thousands of years.
Gordon
I'll do my best.
El Conquistador
I am El Conquistador.
Gordon
El Conquistador. I'll do. I'll do my best.
El Conquistador
You'll do your best? El Conquistador? Yes. So can you tell me what a good time for you to come in is?
Gordon
Anytime, sir. Between the. Anytime, El Conquistador. Between the hours of 8 and 5.
El Conquistador
What is important is that the people that you work with know that if they are to do business with me that they must refer to me not as sir. I know that is polite, but. El Conquistador.
Gordon
What does that mean? What does that mean? What does the title mean?
El Conquistador
Excuse me, who are you addressing?
Gordon
Yes.
El Conquistador
The title means the Conqueror.
Gordon
I thought that's what that. The last part of it. L means the.
El Conquistador
Yes. Okay, okay. El Conquistador.
Gordon
Yeah, I'm sorry. El Conquistador. Okay. El Conquistador. When do you think you'll be arriving, El Conquistador?
El Conquistador
I will be arriving next Wednesday around 4 o'. Clock.
Gordon
Wednesday at 4 o'. Clock. I'll put you on my. That's when your flight lands, El Conquistador?
El Conquistador
My flight lands at about 3:30.
Gordon
Okay, so you'll be here. Are you coming directly here, El Conquistador?
El Conquistador
Yes, I am.
Gordon
Okay. Wednesday at 4pm all right, I'll put that down. Budget that time for you.
El Conquistador
For who?
Gordon
For you, El Conquistador. Thank you, El Conquistador. I'll be waiting to hear from you and to see you.
El Conquistador
Thank you very much for your time. I hope to do business with you.
Josh Arnold
All right, bro.
Gordon
Thank you, El Conquistador.
Jeff Oskay
You're welcome.
Bob Kevoian
From the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Just call me El Conquistador. It's the Bob and Tom Show. Christy Lee at the news desk. Hello, Pat Godwin.
Jeff Oskay
Hey, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
Hello. There's Josh Arnold bothering people at work.
Josh Arnold
Ah, one of comedy's greatest assets.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, what's going on there? Well, I'm just trying to make a living. There's Ace Cosby. Hello, I'm Chick McGee. And actually, our first email. Hello, Jeff. Okay.
Josh Arnold
Hey, buddy.
Ace Cosby
Now I remember how to do it.
Bob Kevoian
This is from Alpharetta, Georgia.
Josh Arnold
Oh.
Bob Kevoian
While on a trip this weekend toward the North Georgia mountains, which might be that way, I'm not sure. I ran into a fellow who introduced himself to me as El Conquistador.
Josh Arnold
Oh, I see.
Bob Kevoian
Out of the blue, I immediately let him know I was aware of El Conquistador from the Bob and Tom Show. I asked if he was planning to buy a car. He was shocked that anybody in Georgia might know that. And would you please play that clip? So we have. And congratulations, Michael. There you go. All right.
Christy Lee
All right, Michael.
Bob Kevoian
Way to go, Michael. And Alpharetta, we're all sitting around hanging out. We've got, as Tom would say, lots of exciting, interesting things this morning in sports and news. Yes.
Christy Lee
Speaking of Georgia Point. Now, people in Georgia do know about the Bob and Tom Show. I happen to be on a ship, a sailing ship, over the weekend.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
And there was a couple from Savannah, Georgia, big fans of the show. Did you have to be on this?
Bob Kevoian
Did you belay the mast or did you run up the.
Christy Lee
My husband did. They, they asked for volunteers and they hoisted the masts.
Ace Cosby
I saw that. Did you have to pay for that experience?
Christy Lee
Hell, yeah, we did.
Ace Cosby
And then they put you to work.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, that.
Ace Cosby
No, no, I'm not participating.
Christy Lee
It was pretty cool.
Bob Kevoian
Well, you know, that's, that's the deal about, you know, they used to all these auctions for good causes. It's not so much items as it is experiences, Jeff.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Like, you sit around, you play poker with maybe some cast of the Bob and Tom Show. You know, we could take them to the cleaners, and they'd have an experience they'd remember for the rest of their lives. Us winning their paycheck. That would be fun. Yeah, I, I, Yeah, I'd never, I've never. I haven't participated in something like that.
Christy Lee
I had neither, but it was very cool. And experience these kids. What a great story. They bought this old schooner. It was going to be scrapped. And this husband and wife, They've put it back together and they're raising money to help other kids learn to sail and trying to pay for the boat. And it's really cool. These guys live on this boat year round and just travel the world.
Bob Kevoian
Boy, wouldn't you get. Wouldn't you be seasick if you're on land? Does that make any sense?
Josh Arnold
Right?
Christy Lee
Yeah. Yeah, probably.
Bob Kevoian
That'd be up and down, man.
Josh Arnold
How can you guys stand it sitting still like this?
Bob Kevoian
What are you doing? Aren't you going up and down? What's the problem?
Christy Lee
So there were some rough nights, but generally it's pretty great.
Bob Kevoian
Did you spend the night on the boat?
Christy Lee
No, we did not spend the night on the boat. We just had a two hour tour.
Josh Arnold
A two hour tour.
Christy Lee
Thank you.
Pat Godwin
Killing it.
Ace Cosby
Josh, do you remember what movie this is from? A sailboat is a schooner.
Josh Arnold
Mall Rats.
Ace Cosby
That's right.
Bob Kevoian
Is that right?
Josh Arnold
You dumb son of a. They're looking at a Magic Eye poster.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, okay.
Josh Arnold
And the one guy just cannot figure it out. He cannot see it at all.
Ace Cosby
But it's the old 3D where you had to stare at that poster and the image would come forth.
Bob Kevoian
I have not seen Mall Rats. Kevin Smith, right?
Christy Lee
Yeah. Kevin.
Gordon
Yes.
Christy Lee
Yeah, it's been a while.
Bob Kevoian
Is Jason Muse in that one as well?
Josh Arnold
Does he show up?
Christy Lee
I think this isn't a Silent Bob film. This is.
Josh Arnold
I remember if he shows up or
Ace Cosby
not, but Ben Affleck is on it.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Ace Cosby
Kind of debut.
Bob Kevoian
Big Buddies.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Jason Lee. The great Michael Rooker.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah, he's good. He was in Scanners. Remember Scanners?
Josh Arnold
I love scanners.
Bob Kevoian
Do you think so, Blake?
Christy Lee
Brain would explode or something.
Bob Kevoian
That's right. Your head would explode. Let's say you're in a meeting and someone's not. Someone's not making any sense and making you unhappy. You just sit there and concentrate. Their head explodes.
Josh Arnold
I remember being a kid and the one heading. The first head explosion. I went. They just blew that guy's head up like it's. It's. The price effects are insane.
Christy Lee
Okay, I have never seen that. I just guess that's what that it was.
Bob Kevoian
I can understand, but I don't know. He must have just wanted to be in the movie so bad.
Josh Arnold
Right, right, right.
Bob Kevoian
That he had. Yeah, sure. Explode my head. That's fine with me. I don't care. Let's see what else is coming up. Oh, Major League Baseball. We had inductees in the hall of Fame. I wasn't even on the final ballot. Of course. That's Because I, I couldn't hit the curveball when I was a kid.
Josh Arnold
I know, but there are other reasons that you should be in there.
Bob Kevoian
I could, I couldn't hit the, or the fastball or a slow mo. I had trouble hitting.
Josh Arnold
How about the slider?
Bob Kevoian
Nope, couldn't get this. And I, I had trouble feeling.
Josh Arnold
What about a change up?
Bob Kevoian
Change up? I give him a ride.
Josh Arnold
Knuckleball.
Bob Kevoian
Give him a ride, man. I was a wiffle ball guy. Oh, yeah. Wiffle ball.
Josh Arnold
Well, then you have to be able to hit everything.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
That's fun.
Christy Lee
You do not get the respect you deserve, Mr. McGee.
Bob Kevoian
Thank you. I should be in all the hall of Fame.
Pat Godwin
Yes, specifically one, definitely.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah. Anyway, Puerto Rico and Curacao represented at the Major League Baseball hall of Fame induction ceremony WNBA All Star game yesterday. And they had two captains. It wasn't east versus west, anything like that. It was key. Team Coop after Cynthia Cooper. And Team Witherspoon, named after Teresa Witherspoon.
Christy Lee
Oh, I thought it was Reese and got that out.
Bob Kevoian
Caitlin Clark had 27 points and Team Spoon defeated Team Coop. 129. 120. They had a record crowd at the United center in Chicago.
Christy Lee
Nice for them.
Bob Kevoian
How about that? John Quell Jones, your MVP of that. Let's see the Brickyard. Corey Heim past team co owner Denny Hamlin. We're gonna have a meeting after the race. And Corey. Corey beat his Boss at the Brickyard 400. LeBron has decided where he's going to play the WNBA.
Josh Arnold
Oh, he has.
Bob Kevoian
He has.
Josh Arnold
Or in the, in the NW or the NBA.
Bob Kevoian
I say wnba.
Christy Lee
Wouldn't that be great?
Bob Kevoian
He would dominate. And he says this is his last decision, so to speak.
Josh Arnold
Remember the.
Bob Kevoian
I decided to take my skills to South Beach. Well, it's not that. It's not Miami this time. And a couple of football players, trouble with the law kids. So we'll. Yeah, I'll give you a hint. One of them is. Oh, no, he's down, Jim. Oh, my gosh.
Josh Arnold
Oh, did Tony Romo witness something?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, he had it right. The cop was right in front of him. Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Oh, boy,
Josh Arnold
these cops are tight, Jim.
Bob Kevoian
So what else is coming up in news, Christy?
Christy Lee
Well, coming up in news, we're going to talk about Comic Con over the weekend because a couple of big things came out of that. Anybody see the Odyssey yet?
Josh Arnold
No, I haven't seen it yet.
Bob Kevoian
Boy, I, I, I feel like I need to go actually read the book again because I understand the bottom line is he just wants to Go home, I guess, which I'm a fan of. But there's also the sirens and all sorts of side stories.
Josh Arnold
Ton of adventures on that journey.
Bob Kevoian
Lots of adventures.
Josh Arnold
I don't.
Bob Kevoian
I don't normally go for the helmet that covers the nose.
Christy Lee
Oh, you don't like that?
Bob Kevoian
I don't like that. If you're going to wear a helmet, wear a helmet.
Josh Arnold
Or expose your bridge.
Bob Kevoian
Yes. Or don't wear helmets. You know, don't mess around.
Christy Lee
Did they think that keeping their nose covered would help in some way?
Josh Arnold
Maybe it did.
Bob Kevoian
Maybe it was also.
Pat Godwin
Definitely did help in some way.
Bob Kevoian
Evil spirit.
Christy Lee
I don't know.
Bob Kevoian
I think they thought then if you sneeze, your soul could escape out your nose. Some of what I said is absolutely the truth.
Christy Lee
Well, the Odyssey. Have you seen. I have not. I want to. IMAX theaters. A lot of them are extending the run. It's become so popular.
Bob Kevoian
Everything I've seen, all the reviews. Life changing movie is what they're.
Christy Lee
Life changing.
Bob Kevoian
That's what they're saying. It's unbelievable.
Christy Lee
That's interesting.
Bob Kevoian
I just watched Interstellar again over the weekend. Cried my sad little eyes out. Oh, that's a good boy. I love that movie. I love that movie, Jeff.
Ace Cosby
Never seen it.
Pat Godwin
Wonderful.
Josh Arnold
It's a good one.
Bob Kevoian
It's a pretty good one. Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
How was your week, Jeff?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. You were at the lake. Abandoned us for a week.
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah. It was great. Hanging with my kids. And was there their friends?
Bob Kevoian
Was there an incident?
Ace Cosby
We had one girl shave her head and her eyebrows off, but other than that.
Christy Lee
On a dare.
Ace Cosby
No.
Bob Kevoian
Please tell me it was her choice, right?
Ace Cosby
Yeah, it was her choice. She wanted to do it. By all means. I couldn't make eye contact with her for the rest of the week.
Bob Kevoian
There's something weird about no brows, no eyebrows. It's just. It was the whole head, too.
Jeff Oskay
The whole head?
Ace Cosby
The whole head.
Bob Kevoian
It was a trend on. On the socials or. One point.
Ace Cosby
And then I. I got to hang out with Timmy. Two Cokes. My daughter's boyfriend.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah. How'd you.
Bob Kevoian
Now he's the one who comes over and just gets into your fridge. He loves it, asking.
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah. Yeah. Well, he is welcome to as many Cokes as he wants at my house.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, okay.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. His family listens, so.
Bob Kevoian
All right.
Ace Cosby
I. I welcome him. Yeah. It's good times.
Christy Lee
Did you limit him to two Cokes a day?
Jeff Oskay
No.
Ace Cosby
Oh, no. No vacation. Have as many Cokes a day as you want. All your kids. Yeah, get. Have a shake and a. And a Coke at the restaurant?
Josh Arnold
Heck, yeah. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Get both to have.
Christy Lee
Who's paying?
Bob Kevoian
Have a banana split, Uncle Jeff.
Ace Cosby
Well, I'm doing a couple shows coming up.
Bob Kevoian
A couple shows. A couple shows coming up. You never know, huh?
Ace Cosby
Yeah. Payoff.
Bob Kevoian
Do you ever get tipped, Jeff, at these shows? Somebody come up to you? Here's a, here's a, here's a finsky.
Ace Cosby
No, but my girlfriend did have someone come up and hand her a hundred dollars and said, take that guy out and have get a mistake.
Bob Kevoian
Well, that's nice.
Christy Lee
Nice.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
That's a thank you in the form of dollars. Very nice.
Christy Lee
Speaking of dollars.
Bob Kevoian
Dollars. That's right.
Christy Lee

Josh Arnold
Bonjour, compadre.
Bob Kevoian
It's the Priceline negotiator.
Josh Arnold
How do I negotiate so many great travel deals? My greatest gadget, the Priceline app. It's got hotel deals, flight deals, rental
Ace Cosby
car deals, all of those deals in
Josh Arnold
a bundle deals, game day deals, concert trip deals. No one deals more deals than Priceline.
Bob Kevoian
Hold your horses, there's more.
Josh Arnold
The app lets you filter hotels by neighborhood vibe, star level and amenities like pools and spas and beachfronts and. Wait, I'm not done. Stop cutting me up.
Jeff Oskay
Priceline.
Bob Kevoian
Welcome Back to the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. It's the Bob and Tom Show. Christy Lee at the news desk.
Christy Lee
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
Good news or Pat Godwin.
Pat Godwin
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
Pat's gonna sing us a Little song today.
Jeff Oskay
Sure.
Bob Kevoian
What we've got planned. There's Josh Arnold.
Josh Arnold
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
There's Jeff Oskay.
Ace Cosby
Hey, man.
Bob Kevoian
Ace Cosby.
Ace Cosby
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
And time for our listener emails. This is from a gentleman in Monticello, Indiana or Monticello, Indiana. I've always.
Christy Lee
Monticello.
Bob Kevoian
What about Thomas Jefferson's place?
Christy Lee
Monticello.
Bob Kevoian
Monticello. Sounds.
Pat Godwin
That's confusing.
Bob Kevoian
All right, dear people, I got to see the Wiener Mobile in the wild on Saturday on 39 south, just south of Frankfort, Indiana. They were having their hot dog festival. Get it? Frankfurt. Frankfurters. I know this sounds weird, but I was genuinely excited and part of it was my joy and being able to tell you guys I saw the Wiener Mobile. Well, well, thank you, J.P. we appreciate that. Let's see, this weekend we were listening to the radio and Sugar Sugar by the Archies came on. I, being the loyal listener that I am, dutifully sang along shouting the words, you are my candy. My wife was less than amused.
Josh Arnold
Those aren't the lyrics Chick McGee changed some years ago.
Bob Kevoian
You gotta get on board. I'm sorry, Jeff. You should have sang that for the kids at the lake this weekend. The past week.
Ace Cosby
You are my candy whore.
Bob Kevoian
Fun. Yeah, that's Brian. You got a. Anybody got a letter over there? No.
Christy Lee
Well, you know, last couple of weeks we've been talking about binoculars and now you have to have them at the lake.
Bob Kevoian
Tom's contention is everybody who has a lake house keeps binoculars by a window.
Christy Lee
Well, this is from Chris and actually this is binoculars for the win. Apparently in Spring Lake, Michigan at an annual friends gathering, his neighbor, an older woman apparently knocked on his door and said, Bob has fallen. And he said what do you mean? And she said, I looked across the lake and I saw Bob had fallen on his deck. He was an 86 year old gentleman. Had she not had her binoculars, they would not have gone over there and saved Bob.
Bob Kevoian
No kidding.
Christy Lee
Yeah, so see, binoculars come in handy at the lake. Checking on your neighbor.
Bob Kevoian
You know what that is? That's heartwarming.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Even though she sounds a little nosy. That's.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Christy Lee
A Gladys Gravity.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
By the way, Bob is okay.
Bob Kevoian
Bob is okay.
Christy Lee
Yes, he's fine from his fall, but yeah, let's see.
Bob Kevoian
This is from Zach. Dear Bob and Tom show. I become a full time rural mail carrier after being part time for nine years. I listen to the show every day when I'm out delivering. There have been many times I've had to pull over and stop due to hard laughing. Thank you for all making my Workday. That much better. P.S. i would request my favorite Pat Godwin song, except he can't perform it right now, I'm sure, and I don't think he'd want to anyways. I don't want to say the title, but it does sound a lot like the Wreck of the Edmund F. How
Pat Godwin
could that be their favorite?
Josh Arnold
He, he.
Bob Kevoian
People like the.
Pat Godwin
Oh, gosh.
Bob Kevoian
What? The Rectum of Ella Fitzgerald.
Christy Lee
Is that the name of the song, actually?
Pat Godwin
Apparently.
Bob Kevoian
I don't know.
Pat Godwin
I did. I did it as a one off. Now it's.
Josh Arnold
I've done it.
Christy Lee
Your Stairway to Heaven.
Bob Kevoian
That, that, that and Coke in the Boat, right?
Pat Godwin
Oh, boy. It's huge out there.
Bob Kevoian
Everybody loves Coke in the boat. Major League Baseball. Let's go there from Cooperstown, Puerto Rico. And. Or is it Koopa Town?
Gordon
You.
Bob Kevoian
You say Cooper Town, Puerto Rico and Curacao. Maybe Itty bitty islands. But the support they showed massive yesterday at the induction ceremony. Center fielders Carlos Beltran and Andrew Jones with a U inducted into the Baseball hall of Fame yesterday, both joined second baseman Jeff Kent as the newest members before an estimated crowd of about 15,000 at the sports center in Cooperstown. 57 other hall of Famers on stage and they showed video of this their induction ceremonies. It was all very nice, but Jeff. Jeff Kent from the Giants.
Josh Arnold
Were all the Kents there?
Bob Kevoian
Martha Kent. Clark Kent.
Josh Arnold
Connie Kent.
Bob Kevoian
Connie Kent.
Christy Lee
Who's Connie Kent?
Pat Godwin
You don't know Connie?
Christy Lee
I don't know Connie.
Bob Kevoian
Helen.
Josh Arnold
She's a Kent.
Bob Kevoian
Kent, Helen Kent.
Josh Arnold
Now, was Connie born a Kent or was that her married name?
Pat Godwin
Oh, well, she turned into a Kent.
Josh Arnold
Gotcha.
Bob Kevoian
I think her. Her maiden name was K, so she
Josh Arnold
went from K to Kent.
Bob Kevoian
So it was.
Josh Arnold
You can't go from K to Kent.
Bob Kevoian
Martha Kent. Is.
Josh Arnold
Is her full name what you're witnessing, ladies and gentlemen? Man on a tightrope.
Bob Kevoian
I'm trying not to fall into the crowd, okay? I don't. I couldn't find Curacao with a globe. And I kind of sort of know where Puerto Rico is.
Christy Lee
Have you been there?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, no kidding. You have one of those islands in Japan, isn't it?
Pat Godwin
That's right. I'll say it again.
Christy Lee
Is it an island or a city?
Pat Godwin
An island. It's in the Bahamas. The Caribbean, I think.
Bob Kevoian
Is that right?
Pat Godwin
The cruise ships went there. But seriously, it's gorgeous.
Bob Kevoian
Now, I understand if you're in the Caribbean, you pronounce it Caribbean, but if you're going to the Caribbean, you say Caribbean.
Pat Godwin
If you're Billy Ocean, you Say Caribbean.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Caribbean Queen.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, he says Caribbean.
Bob Kevoian
Is there a better song than Caribbean Queen?
Pat Godwin
Yes, there are.
Josh Arnold
There are.
Pat Godwin
It's good, but there are.
Josh Arnold
It is very good.
Bob Kevoian
I don't think so, but there are. Billy Ocean. Is the 5,000 songs better than Billy Ocean? Doesn't give the credit. He deserves a wonderful song.
Josh Arnold
I mean, didn't he also do get out of my dreams and into my car?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, beep, beep.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Now, that one seemed a little forced, but not this one.
Josh Arnold
Yeah,
Pat Godwin
they're sharing the same dream, chick.
Bob Kevoian
Okay, wait a minute. Let's hear. Okay, listen very carefully again.
Josh Arnold
You guys know Caribou Coffee? Every time I see one, I go, caribou Dream. And no one likes it.
Pat Godwin
They don't laugh.
Josh Arnold
No, I never get anything.
Bob Kevoian
Do you do it to the. The. The barista there in the Caribou Cop.
Josh Arnold
Do they call it one time that my biggest. The biggest swing I took on that was. I said, I love this caribou coffee. And she goes, oh, thank you. And I go, I don't take mine black. I like mine with caribou cream.
Pat Godwin
Could I have some room for Caribou Brew Queen? She hated it.
Josh Arnold
Actually, she didn't hate it. She just didn't know what to do.
Christy Lee
It's funny, she probably had never heard the song.
Josh Arnold
No idea.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Now, Billy Ocean was right there.
Josh Arnold
It was a busy airport. There was no reason for me to slow her up.
Bob Kevoian
People are trying to make their flights.
Pat Godwin
Did he have. Did Billy have two hits and out with him?
Bob Kevoian
I think so. Yeah. But he was right there at the start of mtv, man. Oh, that's right.
Josh Arnold
I want to say he. Oh, no, that wasn't him. I was gonna. What I was about to say was he did a song for that Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner franchise.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, Romancing the Roses.
Gordon
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Either Jewel of the Nile or Romancing the Stone.
Bob Kevoian
But I be. Or Was that Michael McDonald?
Josh Arnold
He D. I don't remember. Yeah, I forget.
Bob Kevoian
Well, Michael McDonald was the cop movie with Billy Crystal and, oh, Running Scared, Gregory Hines. Yeah. Do we have get out of My Dreams and in my car.
Pat Godwin
We have a copy left in the back.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I think. I think that's. That really shows his range.
Pat Godwin
Into my car Just get in my car get out of my dream.
Josh Arnold
Was he part of a band before going solo?
Bob Kevoian
I don't think so. I don't. I know.
Josh Arnold
It wasn't like a Commodore or something.
Bob Kevoian
And this might shock you. I don't think Ocean is his real last name. No, Really, I don't think so.
Josh Arnold
What about Frank Ocean. Is that his real last name?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Yeah. They are brothers.
Josh Arnold
Well, let's not. They're not.
Bob Kevoian
They have the same father. Oh, there's Frank Ocean fan clubs out there. I can feel them elsewhere in sports, weren't you wondering.
Christy Lee
Still with us, is he? Yeah. 76 years old. He's got the dreads.
Bob Kevoian
76. 76 years.
Pat Godwin
Where's he from?
Jeff Oskay
Trinidad.
Pat Godwin
I'm going to guess Trinidad.
Bob Kevoian
He looks Trinidad.
Christy Lee
He is a Trinidadian. British singer? Yes.
Ace Cosby
Wow.
Pat Godwin
That's a pretty good guess.
Bob Kevoian
How'd you know?
Pat Godwin
Well, I've been down there a lot. I know the patois, the local.
Bob Kevoian
You think they got I'm your Trinidaddy?
Josh Arnold
Oh, he did do that song from the.
Ace Cosby
It was.
Josh Arnold
It's when the going gets tough, the tough get going.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah. When the government gets tough.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I don't know.
Bob Kevoian
That one
Christy Lee
looks like he still might be out there touring too. But you have to go to the UK to see him.
Bob Kevoian
You know, what a bargain at half the price. I. I'd have or twice.
Ace Cosby
They have rib fest in the uk.
Bob Kevoian
That. That was an insult, wasn't it?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Billy.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
How dare you. The 2026 WNBA All Star Game yesterday at the United center in Chicago. John Quell Jones, your MVP and Team Spoon, beating Team Coop 129. 122. Jonquil Jones, the Liberty Center, 22 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists. Let's see. Also, Caitlin Clark had 17 points. GM Cynthia Cooper and captain Paige Becker saw team Coop make the game close a couple times, but they could not overcome team. Yeah, they. They do that in the NBA too. They like team magic. Oh, yeah, stuff like that. Corey Hyde, past team co owner Denny Hamlin on the final restart on Sunday. Hey.
Josh Arnold
Hey, Corey. Can I. Can I talk to you?
Bob Kevoian
Can I meet you over by the water fountain?
Josh Arnold
What's the one rule we don't do? We don't laugh the balls. That's right. We don't. We don't.
Bob Kevoian
We don't. I'm sorry, what?
Christy Lee
Lap the boss let the boss win at all costs.
Bob Kevoian
Here's something interesting. Kyle Shanahan, coach of the 49ers, on the practice field yesterday. Not interesting, you say? Well, not quite. Not quite. Two weeks ago, Shanahan involved in a car accident. Left him with a concussion and a couple of broken ribs. Shanahan made a cameo with the practice. The Niners start preparation for the 26 season. So as I've called him for many years, the petulant child of Mike Shanahan is up and out of the car and he's okay. And LeBron James, this is the announcement and he says this is his final decision, meaning he's not going to go anywhere else. He's going to retire when he's done with the 76ers. That's right. LeBron James will be a Philadelphia 76er in the upcoming season. He's the NBA's all time leading scorer. And according to ESPN, LeBron, 41 years old, took a pay cut. But you can't shake your head no at $8 million for the two year contract.
Josh Arnold
No.
Bob Kevoian
You know, a million's a million, right?
Pat Godwin
Right.
Jeff Oskay
Jeff.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Was there any time in your life where you could have eaten a 76 ounce steak?
Pat Godwin
Has that been done? That's a lot, isn't it?
Josh Arnold
I don't remember the place in Amarillo. I don't remember how big. That's.
Bob Kevoian
I'm gonna say yes. I've never. I've always been intrigued.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
There's another one where you eat two. I think it's cheeseburgers and onion rings.
El Conquistador
Oh.
Josh Arnold
One of those food challenges.
Bob Kevoian
It's a platter and if you finish it, you like 100 bucks and you get the meal for free.
Christy Lee
The big Texan is a 72 ounce.
Josh Arnold
Okay, so not quite 76.
Bob Kevoian
Quite well, but 76 would leave them
Josh Arnold
oohing and I. Yeah, yeah, you're right.
Bob Kevoian
And I understand as the winner is announced for eating the 72 ounce steak, the Big Texan Billy Ocean song
El Conquistador
Get
Bob Kevoian
out of my dreams to get into my car. He did have a formula, didn't he?
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah.
Josh Arnold
He nailed this equation. The only in anybody else's hands that would have a creepy.
Gordon
Oh, yeah.
Pat Godwin
Well, it's still a little creepy.
Christy Lee
Of course it's creepy.
Pat Godwin
Get out of my dreams. Let's go on a date or go to a restaurant.
Bob Kevoian
Not even that.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, yeah, you're right. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Just get in my car. Where are we going? You're kidnapping me.
Bob Kevoian
This feels like a kidnap.
Josh Arnold
I can't help that you dreamt about me.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, it's not a kidnap. It's an actual song. Come on. Shut up and get into my car.
Pat Godwin
Go for a nice walk, maybe.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
About a cup of coffee.
Christy Lee
Thank you.
Bob Kevoian
May I. May I hold your hand?
Pat Godwin
Get into my car.
Josh Arnold
Christy, what's the biggest steak you've had? Do you think
Christy Lee
8 ounces never hit that 12 mark? No, I don't think so.
Bob Kevoian
You always order the. The little petite fillet. The Barbie fillet. Yeah.
Christy Lee
They could only make a four ounce. That'd be perfect.
Josh Arnold
I had the 36.
Ace Cosby
Six one.
Josh Arnold
You had a 36.
Pat Godwin
Where's the big tomahawk way? Are they huge?
Josh Arnold
And that counts, the bone counts, doesn't it?
Pat Godwin
Yeah. Oh, yeah, the bone counts.
Bob Kevoian
Let me tell you something. The bone always counts.
Josh Arnold
We're trying to have a real conversation.
Christy Lee
That steak is ridiculous.
Josh Arnold
That's the 72.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Is that two steaks?
Gordon
Really?
Pat Godwin
Because.
Josh Arnold
And I knew that I wouldn't finish it, but I thought I was. We were with people when I worked with Rawlings and it was an expense report and they were like, yeah, you should do it. But then I found out they put you on a stage right up above everyone, right? And I went, I'm not doing that.
Christy Lee
And they start a timer according to this, right? You only have certain amount of time, but they allow you to cut up your steak before the timer starts.
Josh Arnold
Oh, that's not fair.
Christy Lee
That's what it says here, though.
Bob Kevoian
But that's got to add to your anxiety being up on a stage, right? Yeah. And then you've got the timer and then you've got 72 ounces of meat.
Christy Lee
You will be disqualified if anyone assists you in cutting, preparing, or eating of your meal. This is your contest, not your buddies.
Bob Kevoian
And I think. I think the baked potato and rolls, and I think those are included. You got to eat those too.
Pat Godwin
You do?
Josh Arnold
I think so.
Bob Kevoian
I think so.
Christy Lee
You don't have to eat the fat, but we will judge this.
Bob Kevoian
The fat's best. Yes, the fat's the best part.
Christy Lee
You like the fat.
Josh Arnold
Whatever cut that Ace ate, you know there was plenty of fat on that.
Bob Kevoian
Absolutely.
Christy Lee
Should you become ill, the contest is over. You lose.
Bob Kevoian
Vomiting live on stage. What are we? What is this, a rock concert?
Christy Lee
If you fail to complete the challenge, you must pay the full $72.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
All right. Buck an ounce. That's not bad.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, that really is not bad. That's a good.
Ace Cosby
For a steak.
Christy Lee
Am I 72 ounces?
Josh Arnold
Although can a 72 ounce steak be good the whole way through? Like it's some of that cut be
Bob Kevoian
a little rough, real chewy. Yeah, but is it all just one steak or is it one steak pile up on another?
Christy Lee
No, it looks like it looks like one steak, but maybe. What do you think the percentage of winners would be in this context?
Josh Arnold
Less than 10%?
Bob Kevoian
I'm going to say 3%, 25%, 12%?
Christy Lee
Oh, I was wrong.
Josh Arnold
I said less than 10.
Christy Lee
There have been almost. There have been 99,208 attempts and 10,631 winners.
Josh Arnold
Can you imagine?
Bob Kevoian
Remember when Homer went to the all you can eat seafood bar at the Captain Seafood Restaurant and he just kept eating.
Josh Arnold
Sir, sir, please don't take the steam tray.
Bob Kevoian
He's neither man nor beast. Get him out of here.
Josh Arnold
Come see Bottomless Pete. He became an attraction.
Christy Lee
And then.
Josh Arnold
Then they asked him to leave and he sued.
Bob Kevoian
It says all you can eat.
Josh Arnold
Mr. Simpson, this is the most blatant case of false advertising since my lawsuit against the Never Ending Story.
Bob Kevoian
That's exactly right line.
Christy Lee
Are you fans of all you can eat?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, I do like some. I've become less so in my.
Bob Kevoian
I like that more mature. The Brazilian Steakhouse.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Because the quality is there.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Those are amazing.
Bob Kevoian
Like a super duper salad bar.
Ace Cosby
Did all you can eat sushi. And last week, and man, I. I ate it all.
Bob Kevoian
No kidding.
Josh Arnold
And they make you most. Most all you can eat sushi places you pay extra for what you don't finish.
Ace Cosby
Oh, no. There was not a speck left.
Josh Arnold
Nice.
Ace Cosby
Not I. I even poured the soy sauce plate with the wasabi into my mouth.
Christy Lee
Wow.
Pat Godwin
Crazy.
Josh Arnold
I love it.
Bob Kevoian
You know, our. We have a champion eater on our staff, Joey Chestnut, world renowned champion here. He says shrimp is the easiest thing to eat the most of because it digests so quick. Right. Right down the old gullet.
Christy Lee
Oh, a lot of shrimp over the weekend.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, but not that sauce. So that's.
Christy Lee
Oh, you don't like the cocktail sauce?
Pat Godwin
I love it.
Christy Lee
Oh, I do too.
Bob Kevoian
I don't like it real spicy.
Pat Godwin
You don't?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, it's too spicy.
Ace Cosby
Is it too spicy?
Bob Kevoian
It reflects on me as a man. I know. I'm sorry. Let me tell you something about Nitsa. When you speed while driving. Hey, slow down. There's an idea. Because if you're speeding, you have less time to react to whatever comes across your path. Let's say a sharp turn could take you by surprise. Another car could pop out of nowhere. A truck break suddenly, a cyclist could enter the road ahead. Or a pedestrian could be walking their puppy dog at your foot on the gas. Might lead to a big time problem. You may not think any of these things could happen to you, but you won't see them coming until they happen. And that's too late. When you're speeding, you don't have time to course correct. You don't have time to stop. It only takes an instant for disaster to strike. The speed limit isn't just there to protect you. It's there to protect your passengers, other drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, and everyone sharing the road. So slow down, obey the law and help keep everyone around you safe. Speeding does catch up with you. This announcement paid for by nhtsa. We'll be back with more sports and news. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.

Pat Godwin
Hey, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
And I saw Pat. We got a big, big surprise for you coming up. There's Josh Arnold.
Josh Arnold
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
Jeff Oskay.
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
And Ace Cosby. Now, Pat, I don't want to force you to do anything you don't want to do, but a listener from our email just for you. Dear Bob and Tom show, specifically, Pat, I'm a full time rural mail carrier being part time for nine years. I listen to your show every day. I'd like to request my favorite song by, yes, Pat Godwin. I know it might be a little much for him to perform it right now with his shoulder and all.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, it hurts.
Bob Kevoian
But I'll give you a hint. It sounds an awful lot, a lot like the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Pat Godwin
And that's their favorite song.
Bob Kevoian
That's their favorite song. That's Zach Christy.
Pat Godwin
This is your least favorite. Yeah, we've all heard it a lot. But this is a fan requesting and it's my first. Let's see how that shoulder. You know what? It hurts, Jeff.
Josh Arnold
Hurts a little.
Pat Godwin
I play with pain.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Josh Arnold
Oh, this is a mistake. He's grabbing his guitar.
Bob Kevoian
There it is. Look at that.
Gordon
Oh, man.
Josh Arnold
He just exclaimed.
Bob Kevoian
Just for you, baby.
Pat Godwin
It sits down below like the ship we all know, the rectum of Ella Fitzgerald. She'd skat when she sang and her bottom would bang a disaster when the winds would come. If it's a child family. Oh, they Emailed me, said, stop singing about poor grandma's rectum. I said, I'll do my best, but a fan has a request and it's very hard to reject him. Oh, Dr. It said would always turn his head when performing her cold and procedure. There's polyps and corn and Louis Armstrong's horn.
Christy Lee
Boy, it's nice to see you play guitar again.
Bob Kevoian
Good old Gordon. Get in there. I sat down, baby.
Josh Arnold
Get a second surgery. Because you played the rectum of elephants.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Wrecked your arm.
Bob Kevoian
How would you like to. How would you like to explain that to your doctor? My goodness, another email. Dear Bob and Tom show. You guys are amazing. This one is for Josh.
Josh Arnold
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
Every year the Des Moines Register hosts a week long bike ride across Iowa. 15 to 20,000 people ride bikes 70 plus miles a day.
Josh Arnold
That's fun.
Bob Kevoian
This year, Denny Davis, he rode the entire 70 plus miles on a penny farthing.
Josh Arnold
Oh, nice.
Bob Kevoian
To help spread awareness for autism. I thought you might enjoy this story. Keep up the great work, Josh. Good luck to the rest of you. Oh, well, what's that about? All right.
Christy Lee
Many farthings only have one speed, right?
Josh Arnold
I don't know. I think so.
Christy Lee
I don't think they have a.
Josh Arnold
They can't really change gears.
Christy Lee
That would be so hard.
Josh Arnold
Sent me a photo that of one for sale and I no kidding. Would you be interested? I said how much? And it was over a thousand dollars.
Christy Lee
Whoa.
Josh Arnold
And it was super old. Like more of a. This is the kind of thing you would hang on a wall type rather than actually. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
And so this is from Dave in northern Iowa. And we've talked about this before. The guy who thought he invented the end all be all. The guy who invented Velcro shoes.
Christy Lee
Sure.
Bob Kevoian
He was certain that yeah. He was going to own the millions and millions of dollars. Was going to start.
Josh Arnold
Why would anyone use laces ever again?
Bob Kevoian
And then the guy who invented the penny farthing, but then he saw the bicycle with two of the same size wheels and he thought how stupid have I been? I. That'd be. That'd be tough.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. And you can't. There must be a trick to getting on without having to drive to a loading dock. And then.
Pat Godwin
Right.
Christy Lee
Has to be right.
Bob Kevoian
I think you.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Climb up the back or something.
Bob Kevoian
You put your foot on a pedal and then run.
Josh Arnold
And there are videos of.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Then they kind of do come up from the behind it and catapult themselves onto it.
Bob Kevoian
You know, Chrissy, you come up behind you. Hey, I got a World cup story for you. Remember The World Cup.
Christy Lee
Oh, I loved the world.
Bob Kevoian
We all had World cup fever there for a magical month. Las Palacios e Villa Franca. That's the hometown of Fabian Ruiz and Gabby. He goes by one name, Gabby. They helped Spain win the World cup and they were awarded after they got home. Award ceremony. They were given their weight in tomatoes.
Josh Arnold
No kidding.
Bob Kevoian
They're midfielders. They participated in a ceremony last week at the town hall in the Spanish province of Seville.
El Conquistador
Over.
Josh Arnold
The barber comes from.
Bob Kevoian
That's exactly right. Well, they're known for many things, but tomatoes. And of course, the barber of Seville. It says here Seville is also more famously known for tomato production.
Christy Lee
I did not know that. I think they're wrong.
Bob Kevoian
I think you're real wrong on that. Barber of Seville.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah. Good tomatoes.
Bob Kevoian
Elmer Fuddy. Barbarous.
Josh Arnold
I am deep.
Bob Kevoian
So, soccer players, probably. 160. 180. £180 in tomatoes. Wow.
Christy Lee
They're gonna spoil before you could eat them all.
Bob Kevoian
I do like a good tomato, though.
Christy Lee
There. It's the time right now.
Bob Kevoian
Is it really?
Christy Lee
Oh, that's a great one. Yesterday we have bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches for dinner.
Josh Arnold
Oh, wonderful choice.
Christy Lee
Corn on the cob. Get any better than mine?
Pat Godwin
That's my favorite.
Bob Kevoian
Can I guess? You didn't have the bacon.
Christy Lee
I had the bacon, honestly. The lettuce and I had the toast, but no tomato or mayonnaise.
Pat Godwin
I thought you loved tomatoes.
Bob Kevoian
Why not?
Christy Lee
I don't like tomatoes on a sandwich. I like tomatoes. Like on a caprese.
Ace Cosby
Oh, my God.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, that's.
Josh Arnold
That was so. That was clickbait, what you just did. The tomatoes this year are great. Right now.
Ace Cosby
They're perfect.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, we had BLTs last night. No tomato.
Bob Kevoian
You should see these tomatoes now.
Christy Lee
But I had a capra salad, so that was where I. Oh, with the blt. Yes.
Josh Arnold
Gotcha.
Bob Kevoian
So you didn't want to OD on tomatoes?
Christy Lee
No, I didn't want to put it on my sandwich.
Josh Arnold
You don't like what it does to the bread?
Christy Lee
I don't know. I just. You know what? I don't think I honestly have ever had a tomato on a sandwich.
Josh Arnold
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
So maybe I should love tomatoes.
Ace Cosby
Never. Like, not on a burger.
Christy Lee
No.
Ace Cosby
Like what?
Bob Kevoian
You are an enigma.
Christy Lee
I only started liking tomatoes when I found out about that salad.
Pat Godwin
Oh, that is a good salad.
Bob Kevoian
I do like oppression there.
Christy Lee
Yeah, pretty good.
Bob Kevoian
Coming up in sports, we've got Cowboys quarterback.
Christy Lee
Tony, try your bacon or bake it.
Bob Kevoian
I bake my bacon.
Christy Lee
I bake my bacon.
Bob Kevoian
365 for half hour.
Christy Lee
I went 400 for about 20 minutes.
Bob Kevoian
No splatter.
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Way to go.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Air fry or I told you.
Josh Arnold
No, I. I bake my grill.
Bob Kevoian
It's a brand new grill. It might as well be. I got a griddle. Oh, a flat griddle for my grill. Installed that baby. New flavor bars. Bang bang.
Ace Cosby
Are you doing the bacon on the griddle?
Bob Kevoian
Not yet, but I could.
Josh Arnold
Oh, what a flavor bar.
Bob Kevoian
And eggs. There are flavor bars down underneath your
Christy Lee
that make it smell or taste like
Josh Arnold
apple wood or whatever you like cotton candy.
Bob Kevoian
I think I put clean linen.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah, yeah. That's nice.
Bob Kevoian
That. That helps it help.
Josh Arnold
Somebody doing laundry. No chicks. Grilling.
Bob Kevoian
I'm grilling. How about that? A little rose.
Christy Lee
Nice.
Bob Kevoian
Tony Romo in the news and more sharks. And a Polish man makes the news.
Christy Lee
Oh, a Polish man will come.
Josh Arnold
Right. It's Shark Week on Discovery Channel.
Bob Kevoian
Yes, it is. And we don't mean a lady's cycle. It's actually Shark Week.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
This is the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. We'll be right back. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jeff Oskay
More of the show is on the way. You can find us on X at Bob and Tom or you can email us at Bob and Tom. Bob and Tom dot com.
Bob Kevoian
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Christy Lee at the news desk. Hi, Pat Godwin.
Pat Godwin
Hey, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
There he is, right over there. He's already done a song. I hope you didn't miss it early. Maybe we could talk him into it. He's playing. Playing injured. So he's got his shoulder on ice. Right.
Christy Lee
I hope your doctor wasn't listening.
Pat Godwin
I have my appointment today.
Bob Kevoian
There's Josh Arnold.
Ace Cosby
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
There's Jeff. Oscar.
Ace Cosby
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
Sitting in Tom's seat. There's Ace Cosby. Hello, I'm Chick. Hello. Hello. Hello.
Josh Arnold
And Christy and I get to eat Lee's Recipe Famous Recipe chicken today.
Christy Lee
Yes, we do.
Bob Kevoian
Are you kidding?
Christy Lee
Nope.
Josh Arnold
Not at all.
Pat Godwin
It's good.
Christy Lee
I'm having the chicken Popeye. I don't know about that.
Josh Arnold
I'm having the everything.
Bob Kevoian
You know who. Guest comedian appearances on the Bob and Tom show are sponsored by Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken. Famous for a reason. Oh, yes. And they're proud sponsors. Well, they're not proud sponsors. They're sponsors of the Greg Warren Report.
Josh Arnold
You guys are only allowed one piece of fried chicken. What? What cut are you getting?
Christy Lee
Only one.
Josh Arnold
Only one breast. Ace goes thigh.
Ace Cosby
I want the big piece of chicken.
Bob Kevoian
All Right. Big breast.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
I'm a kid. Drumstick.
Josh Arnold
I'm going drumstick, too.
Pat Godwin
I'm drumstick too. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
I gotta go drumstick and. Or thigh. Best of the bird, man.
Pat Godwin
It's delicious.
Bob Kevoian
Thick thigh. Thick thighs save lives.
Josh Arnold
Nothing like biting into that drumstick.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, perfect size. Don't you wave it around. Making a point. And another thing. Oh, yeah, that's right. You people and you and you. I bought this lunch, so you're gonna hear what I got to say. Point, point, point. With my drumstick.
Josh Arnold
I remember my dad. We. There was a restaurant. Oh, it was. I believe it was York Steakhouse.
Bob Kevoian
Okay. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
And I think that's a regional kind of Midwest type.
Bob Kevoian
It was. It seemed like it was a little. A tad bit better than Ponderosa Steakhouse.
Josh Arnold
Right, right.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Josh Arnold
And they. But they would serve half a chicken.
Bob Kevoian
A half a chicken.
Josh Arnold
You could get a half chicken, and it was as though they just sawed it right in half and put it on your plate. And I remember my dad ordered that, and we were all kind of, as kids, we were sort of fascinated that he was gonna have. And he goes, man, I don't know if I should just cut this or how. And he goes, I'll just. Henry VIII it. And he just tore it apart with his hand. Yes.
Pat Godwin
I love it.
Josh Arnold
And the phrase Henry VIII it is always stuck in my head.
Bob Kevoian
Please tell me you and your brothers started chanting his name as he was eating the chicken.
Josh Arnold
We were always. We wanted to. At home, we would have. But when we were out, in fact, my mom still brags that people, strangers would come up to us and just say, your sons are so well behaved.
Ace Cosby
My mother, that's a big thing for her. Oh, we would get compliments when it's like, oh, no, you got compliments. Because we would get beaten if we acted up.
Josh Arnold
What do you mean? We didn't have a choice not to behave. That never even entered into our minds to misbehave in a restaurant.
Bob Kevoian
You've heard the. You've heard the term. I will knock you into next week. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
But I guess people would see maybe two, you know, a mom and a dad and four little. Our younger boys walk in the restaurant, go, well, this is going to be no peace.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, hell's gonna.
Josh Arnold
Then when it was fine, they were just ecstatic.
Ace Cosby
We had to pull out our mom's chair for her, like. And so that always go, oh, you got a good boy right there pulling out the chair for his mama.
Josh Arnold
You know what, though? That is very sweet.
Gordon
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Well, no, we were forced to do it. There was no sweetness to it because
Christy Lee
you do it as an adult, of course.
Bob Kevoian
You know, you learn something.
El Conquistador
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
You know, forced sweetness is just as good as sweetness. People don't know, right? This in the world of sports. CBS National Football League analysts and former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Arrested last week on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence. A Milwaukee county sheriff's office. Kind of close to where Tony grew up, actually, in suburban Milwaukee. The report says Tony performed poorly on field sobriety tests after getting stopped while driving south on I43. Sheriff's officials said Romo, 46, taken into custody, booked and released. He'll have to.
Josh Arnold
What does Romo. What did Romo say?
Bob Kevoian
Well, Romo.
Josh Arnold
Romo say what?
Bob Kevoian
Said. Oh, no. He's down, Jim. Oh, my gosh.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, sorry, sir. That is. That is not the Alphabet backwards.
Christy Lee
Oh, no.
Josh Arnold
Is that his headshot?
Pat Godwin
Sorry.
Christy Lee
Mug shot.
Bob Kevoian
That's a mug shot.
Ace Cosby
Romo should have said no. Mo.
Josh Arnold
That's a buzzed.
Gordon
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
I mean, isn't that. Yeah. If you took a picture of your friend.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, that's the happy mug shot.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I got the sad one.
Bob Kevoian
I have never had.
Christy Lee
I've never had one. Knock on wood.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, same knock wood.
Christy Lee
Don't want another one.
Bob Kevoian
I've gotten real.
Christy Lee
Any of them gotten real close.
Josh Arnold
Pat, in yours, are you holding up the strip of numbers?
Pat Godwin
That would have been good, though, like the Sinatra one.
Bob Kevoian
I must. Well, I, I, I think I have seen your mug shot.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, it's. I'm pretty sad.
Josh Arnold
You know, that Sinatra mug shot didn't do him. That didn't get in the way of him getting girls?
Pat Godwin
No, no.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, no.
Pat Godwin
And his was for a pretty darn bad reason.
Christy Lee
Girls like the bad boys. Have you not figured that out yet, man?
Bob Kevoian
How does that work?
Christy Lee
I don't know. I wish.
Pat Godwin
Let me tell you how it works.
Bob Kevoian
I am such not a bad boy. I don't know.
Josh Arnold
Oh, Jess Hooker said Friday you have to be a little mean to me.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, right. Emotionally, I can rip you apart, but I can. I'm not. There you go. There he is.
Josh Arnold
What do you think you're looking at, man?
Pat Godwin
My future.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, Pat. You had to leave that up there, Jason, I'm going to take a picture of that and put it up on the old. On the old social here.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, that is a bad picture. Well, I just had a haircut. I remember I had a haircut before I got loaded.
Ace Cosby
Do you know what T shirt you're wearing?
Pat Godwin
I still have that T shirt you
Bob Kevoian
went with the, the crew.
Pat Godwin
No, it's an old navy cheap T shirt. Like a crew shirt.
Christy Lee
Did it have anything printed on the front?
Bob Kevoian
No.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Pat Godwin
No. Thank God. Yeah, I'm just going.
Josh Arnold
What's a haunted man? Right there.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, that. What am I doing?
Christy Lee
Did you have fun two hours before that?
Pat Godwin
No, it was not a fun day. It was a fight. I was trying to get my stuff from my girlfriend back day. And I just drank. I did some day drinking. And then someone was driving me, though I was not driving. I was a passenger.
Christy Lee
Oh, that's correct. I remember now.
Bob Kevoian
So he pulled the passenger over and how did you get into trou again?
Pat Godwin
Well, here. So that he, he's. He, he pulls into a McDonald's erratically. And, and the cops notice us there, right there. Like he literally went over a thing. I'm dude, what are you doing? And. And then all of a sudden they were behind us. And I, I, I whis. I whispered to him, I said, hey, how many beers have he had? He goes, just three. I said, blow, don't. But he said, you're not supposed to blow. I said, I said. And then the cop came up, so we had to shut up.
Bob Kevoian
Right?
Pat Godwin
Yeah. So then he went out of the car and I see. I could hear him go, I'm not going to re. I refuse. And I. And I got out, went, now I gotta help my friend. Hey, just. He's only had three. Let him blow. Get back in the car, sir. That kind of stuff. And I'm just trying to help my friend. I said, get back in the car. And you know, and then he pulled. Had his hand on his gun and I said, what are you gonna do, shoot me, Barney? And that's when all hell broke loose. And I was instantly handcuffed and went, oh, that was dumb.
Christy Lee
How many beers did you add?
Pat Godwin
I was loaded.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, you didn't. Your eyes were going the same direction.
Pat Godwin
That was Jameson down. That was not a good day.
Bob Kevoian
Boy, oh boy. Yeah, a few to blown.
Josh Arnold
Way worse mug shots out there.
Christy Lee
Oh yeah.
Ace Cosby
Oh yeah.
Christy Lee
That wasn't bad.
Pat Godwin
I had a haircut like I would. It would have been much worse.
Bob Kevoian
You do look freshly shorn. Yeah, that's right. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
My girlfriend at that time, which Kim was this? That was Kim, number 17, hairstylist.
Christy Lee
Nice.
Pat Godwin
She was very happy with.
Gordon
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
She ever sat on your lap and cut your hair? She did, yeah. Oh, yeah. You know what I mean. Well, I know exactly what you mean, Joshua. I'm surprised you didn't get a mug shot for. What was it? Garaging yeah.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. No, we, we got taken to jail, but we no mug shots.
Bob Kevoian
No mug.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Maybe under.
Pat Godwin
I don't know.
Josh Arnold
Did they do mug shots for. Because we were 17.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah. Maybe not. Yeah. Oscar, you haven't had. Ever had a mug?
Pat Godwin
No.
Bob Kevoian
Wow.
Gordon
Really?
Ace Cosby
I keep it clean, baby. I don't ride dirty.
Bob Kevoian
I don't ride dirty. You got a great lawyer, right?
Ace Cosby
No, I take Ubers.
Christy Lee
You're smart.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
No, this is the best my life's ever been. I'm not messing up with a DUI like I make. Now my kids are old enough to drive my drunk ass around, so now I don't have to ever trigger drive.
Josh Arnold
You don't have that little bit of you that wants to blow everything up? Just self sabotage, just completely.
Ace Cosby
Oh, I would do it in here on air. Like I'm not gonna do it out. I'm doing it big time.
Bob Kevoian
Is that right?
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
All right.
Josh Arnold
You'll know I look forward to it.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, it'll be fun.
Bob Kevoian

Ace Cosby
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
And yes, the rumors are true. He played a song and played the guitar this morning. There you go. Maybe, maybe more on the way. Yeah, there's Josh Arnold.
Josh Arnold
I learned something at the mall over the weekend. We'll talk about it.
Christy Lee
All right, sir, they're still open.
Bob Kevoian
There's Ace Cosby. Yes, if you. Yes, if you steal something, they are going to take you away. There's Jeff Osk. Hey, man, I never stole anything from a mall. I stole something from a GC Murphy Five and Dime.
Christy Lee
Ben Franklin for me.
Bob Kevoian
No kidding.
Pat Godwin
Pomeroy for me.
Bob Kevoian
What? What'd you steal?
Christy Lee
Lip gloss.
Bob Kevoian
Lip gloss?
Christy Lee
Oh, come on.
Bob Kevoian
All right.
Christy Lee
It's like a rite of passage for
Bob Kevoian
I stole 12 year old girl. I stole a. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John.
Pat Godwin
Oh.
Bob Kevoian
Shoved it down my pants.
Christy Lee
A lot easier to steal lip gloss.
Pat Godwin
Oh yeah, you got caught, right?
Bob Kevoian
Sunglasses for that one. I got caught. I didn't get caught, but I. I had quite, I had quite the history of. I'll just take that. Anyway, what did you learn at the mall, Josh?
Josh Arnold
I went to St. Louis for my niece's. One of my nieces birthdays, and I took two of my nieces to the mall for their birthday. So. Because my one niece, her birthday was in May, but I haven't. She's been having a crazy busy summer. Haven't seen her.
El Conquistador
Right.
Josh Arnold
And then the other niece, it's her birthday now, and so I said, hey, I'm taking you guys shopping. You get each. Get 50 bucks to spend wherever and we'll go to lunch, whatever, right? So it's fun. And they took me, they wanted to go to the mall. And I was like, really?
Ace Cosby
It's still.
Josh Arnold
I mean, this was. This is the liveliest mall I've been to in over 10 years.
Christy Lee
That's exciting to hear.
Josh Arnold
Not one barren store.
Christy Lee
That's great.
Josh Arnold
It was packed and everything, so it felt like the old days.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Josh Arnold
And we were walking around, going into the stores they wanted and everything. And I said, I saw Spencer's. I go, oh my. I go, I gotta go into Spencer's.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
And my niece, the older niece, she's 14, she goes, we can't go into. We're not going into Spencer's.
Bob Kevoian
I go, why?
Josh Arnold
That used to be my favorite store. When I would go to the mall, I always had to go into Spencer's. And she goes, weird things happen there. And I go, what do you mean weird things? I go, just because it's a little gothy and there's like horror things and
Bob Kevoian
all the black walls.
Josh Arnold
She goes, no, no, in the back there are weird things.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
And I go, oh, like do you know people who work There or whatever. Do weird things happen? Like, I thought you meant in the back.
Bob Kevoian
Right, right, right.
Josh Arnold
And she goes, no, just weird. There are weird things in the back. And I go, whatever.
Ace Cosby
We're.
Josh Arnold
Let's go. Come on. We're going into Spencer's. My other niece just turned 10.
Ace Cosby
Oh.
Josh Arnold
And so we're in there, I go, look at this. And I go, there's a Chucky shirt. I go, oh, man.
Ace Cosby
They have a.
Josh Arnold
They have a. You're having a great time, Pennywise blanket or whatever.
Christy Lee
They have a black light in there. Oh my gosh, that was the best.
Josh Arnold
And all of a sudden I turn and I can see all the way in the back of the store. And very visibly. I mean, it's. It's unbelievable. Yeah. The brightest neon dildos and vibrators you've ever seen.
Pat Godwin
What?
Josh Arnold
Massive.
El Conquistador
Yes.
Christy Lee
It's a hell of a gift.
Josh Arnold
Massive collection.
Ace Cosby
Yes.
Josh Arnold
I mean, not. I mean, it's. It's just right there. And it was in the back, but I mean, not hidden. You can stand in the front.
Ace Cosby
There's no curtain. Right.
Josh Arnold
You can stand in the front of the store and see the wall.
Christy Lee
Oh, that's what she was.
Bob Kevoian
That's not mine. I got my Spencer gifts when I was a kid.
Josh Arnold
I looked at her, I go, yeah, exactly.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, yeah.
Josh Arnold
And I go, oh, oh, you meant weird things. And she goes, yeah. And the youngest niece started going. And I go, let's go ahead and let's go to the next story. And she looked at me like, like, you idiot. I. But, but I. And I try to explain to her, I go, hey, Spencer's didn't always have that.
Christy Lee
No, no, but how.
Josh Arnold
How deep in a conversation about dildos and vibrators do you want to get with your 14 year old? So I, I just went, you know that those are new. That, that wasn't. Those weren't in there. When I would go into Spencer.
Christy Lee
Oh, that's where the posters were. That was the best part.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Bad meeting.
Pat Godwin
And somebody's like, yeah, we're adding dildos.
Bob Kevoian
What, we gotta double our bottom line.
Christy Lee
And my people buying posters? I guess.
Pat Godwin
Apparently not.
Josh Arnold
No. Yeah, they're. They're. They're supplementing with that, so I didn't know.
Bob Kevoian
Well, kudos to the 14 year old for, you know. She tried to tell you?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, she sure did. Yeah. And I mean, and I don't. And of course she's just gonna say weird stuff. What's she gonna tell me?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah, you gotta go back there, they're dying dolos.
Pat Godwin
But in A family mall. I'm surprised they're getting away with it.
Josh Arnold
I was a little surprised too. And I'm not a prude, but I was like, hey, this is right next to the Squishies.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Store.
Pat Godwin
It's Orange Julius.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
The Build a Bear wasn't next door, was it?
Josh Arnold
No, but, I mean, yeah, same building.
Bob Kevoian
Right.
Josh Arnold
I did get a Jamba Juice for the first time.
Christy Lee
Did you?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
That's a delicious thing.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Remember the flavor?
Josh Arnold
I got the Aussie Sie. Yeah. Acai Superfoods. Berry.
Pat Godwin
That is good.
Josh Arnold
600 calorie. Deal.
Bob Kevoian
Any. Any residual effects from that?
Josh Arnold
None that I noticed.
Bob Kevoian
Well, that's good.
Josh Arnold
But we had a. We had a great time.
Ace Cosby
They got.
Josh Arnold
Oh, and they. They got a few things at the mall, but then they wanted to go to Ross, so.
El Conquistador
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
And that's where they really went nuts.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Because you can dress for less at Ross.
Josh Arnold
Yes. Oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
So how much you end up. None of my videos.
Josh Arnold
They each got 50 bucks.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
And Eden didn't quite hit her 50, so I had to give her 11 in cash.
Bob Kevoian
What is that right?
Josh Arnold
She only spent 39, so she gets 11 again.
Christy Lee
I'm shocked she was able to buy anything for 50 bucks, you know?
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
She.
Josh Arnold
What did she get? A shirt and a purse.
Bob Kevoian
I got a feeling Eden's gonna be a CEO somewhere.
Ace Cosby
Do you remember on the Wheel of Fortune, they used to have the price of everything? No. They had that price thing afterwards. And you would be like, I'll take the ceramic dogs. I'll take the ski trip. And I'll take the rest on a gift certificate.
Josh Arnold
The camera would pan what looked like a cluttered living room.
Ace Cosby
Oh, yes. I love that. And they took that away. But I always love the person. I'll take the rest on a gift certificate. What your niece reminded me of. I'll take the miniskirt, the Skittles, and I'll take the rest on a gift certificate.
Bob Kevoian
Uncle Josh, I don't know where they got the. Those I. But the ceramic dog was always, like, thirteen hundred dollars.
El Conquistador
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Like some odd.
Christy Lee
I'll tell you what's not a good time. When I was in the lovely town of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Jeff Oskay
The.
Christy Lee
I. You know, you've heard us hit a certain age when the booze cruise is not the good time anymore. I took a sunset cruise on. Just a regular on a boat. You know, a nice boat. They had a band. Not thinking that there would be probably six bachelorette parties.
Josh Arnold
So it was not marketed as a booze cruise. Per se.
Christy Lee
Well, I don't know because I didn't buy the tickets. A friend of ours did. So we had a group of people going. I assumed it was, you know, a nice cruise around the harbor or whatever and.
Ace Cosby
With a glass of wine.
Jeff Oskay
Yes.
Christy Lee
Yeah, not even. I didn't even have that. But man, did it turn into.
Bob Kevoian
There were six. Six bachelorettes.
Christy Lee
At least six. I have never seen so many scantily clad women.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Josh Arnold
Did you get pictures?
Christy Lee
I did not. Oh, but here's the other thing. They're all from that area. They know they're gonna be out on a boat and they know when the sun goes down it's going to be. What?
Pat Godwin
Cold.
Bob Kevoian
Really cold.
Josh Arnold
Oh, that's never bothered girls ever.
Christy Lee
Oh, my God. Well, these girls were all huddled in one at one point. They kind of were all huddled in one central area because they were frozen.
Bob Kevoian
Well, actually when the sun goes down, that's when girls go wild.
Christy Lee
Oh, they were going wild.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
But I remember being in the dead of winter, in line outside of a club and girls were just. Just no coats, nothing like, are you.
Christy Lee
The mom in me was just. I was so upset.
Pat Godwin
A lot of belly buttons, belly button rings and bare midriffs, all that kind of stuff.
Christy Lee
It was unbelievable. You would have loved it.
El Conquistador
I love it.
Christy Lee
You would have loved it.
Pat Godwin
So horny.
Bob Kevoian
He's horny right now.
Josh Arnold
Well, I think we have dispensers at our mall.
Christy Lee
Oh, there was pole dancing. Oh, yeah. They were having a great time. Well, not official pole dancing, but there was a pole. Oh, and they were spinning around.
Pat Godwin
There was a mast.
Bob Kevoian
The boat. The boat did go out though, right?
Christy Lee
Yeah, it went out for three and a half hours. It went out.
Pat Godwin
Oh, you couldn't relax at all.
Bob Kevoian
Aren't you, aren't you watching your clock? At a certain point?
Christy Lee
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Like a half hour out. How long is this gonna be?
Christy Lee
It was 10 o' clock when we finally got back.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, my gosh. Oh, thank you.
Ace Cosby
Up at our lake house, they have a river cruise that goes out for three hours and they have a band and whatever. And we made the mistake. Three hours is a long time on a little boat. And it actually passed by our house and I wanted to dive off the side. That's how bad it was. I was like, well, I get arrested if I just dive off of this piece of crap. The band on our thing was called group therapy.
El Conquistador
Oh.
Ace Cosby
And all I could imagine was those four middle aged men and that garage coming up with, you know what? This is kind of like group therapy
Josh Arnold
for all of us.
Ace Cosby
You know what? That's what we should name the band.
Bob Kevoian
Group Therapy.
Ace Cosby
High five.
Christy Lee
I'm trying to remember the name of the band. It was something very similar to that.
Pat Godwin
What kind of songs?
Christy Lee
Oh, all the classics.
Bob Kevoian
Yacht rock.
Christy Lee
They had a big wheel that they would spin and then when it would land on the song, they would play that song.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, well, that's. That's fun.
Pat Godwin
Like Wagon Wheel and.
Christy Lee
No, no, Wagon Wheel. It was all Prince. It was all 80s dance music. Oh, yeah, they knew their audience.
Bob Kevoian
Look what time it is, kids. That's right. If I get my mouse to work. Stupid world record. A woman has achieved the Guinness World Record for the most sharks tattooed on the body.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yes, she's. We saw the picture of her.
Ace Cosby
Oh, we did?
Christy Lee
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know you done. You had already done this.
Bob Kevoian
This is ideal for Shark Week.
Josh Arnold
Absolutely.
Christy Lee
Redoing it. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Shark biologist Emily Morrison currently has 106 tattoos devoted to marine animals on her body. And all. A total of 70 different species are shown on her body, as well as 13 fossilized shark teeth and one fresh shark tooth.
Josh Arnold
They look pretty cool.
Bob Kevoian
She gets new ink whenever she interacts with a new shark tooth or species. She started getting them around the same time. Oh, there's a comma. She started getting them around the same time period that she began working with the animals professionally back in 1999. She was only 19. She intends to continue to keep adding to her collection until she has each of the 58 shark families tattooed. I had no idea there were that many. There's seven left until she reaches her goal.
Josh Arnold
Oh, oh. Only seven left.
Bob Kevoian
Seven left. All right, for the end, part two. Stupid world record.
Josh Arnold
We learned nothing from the first value blast.
Bob Kevoian
Nothing at all. A Polish man has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest time spent in direct full body contact with snow.
Josh Arnold
Is that right?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, this is a category 41 year old Damien Kashpushik.
Josh Arnold
It's all for you.
Bob Kevoian
Damien fully immersed himself in snow for 2 hours, 12 minutes and 12 seconds to claim the male title. Yes, that's right. He was fully immersed in Snow for over 12 minutes. Man, direct full body contact with snow. Frostbite waiting to happen.
Josh Arnold
Right. How does that not happen?
Christy Lee
Happen?
Bob Kevoian
My gosh, that'd be awful.
Josh Arnold
Was he nude?
Bob Kevoian
He would have to be. Oh, yeah. Full body contact.
Josh Arnold
Oh, look at him.
Pat Godwin
He looks ridiculous.
Josh Arnold
Oh, you can see his head.
Christy Lee
Come on.
Bob Kevoian
Well, his head's not in there.
Josh Arnold
So full body. I guess they're not counting the head as the body.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. It'd be funny if he was on his back with that mound of snow there.
Pat Godwin
And. Did you say 12 minutes?
Bob Kevoian
But he's. 12 minutes.
Pat Godwin
12 minutes.
Josh Arnold
It would look sort of phallic a bit.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
As though he were popping a tent under a blanket.
Bob Kevoian
That's right. Under a snow bank.
Josh Arnold
Look at him.
Bob Kevoian
Look at that guy.
Christy Lee
Look at.
Josh Arnold
Where do you think he goes? His eyes aren't.
Pat Godwin
He's.
Josh Arnold
He's somewhere else. He's not necessary.
Christy Lee
That is just holding your neck up like that would hurt.
Josh Arnold
Look at his buddies.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
That's not a haircut I'd like. No, no, no. Oh, well, time to go over to the news desk. And the one, the only, Christy Lee. Hello, Christy.
Christy Lee
Hi. A man is recovering after getting impaled by his own trekking pole and then hiking down to safety.
Bob Kevoian
Now, a trekking pole, you carry it with you?
Christy Lee
Yeah. Help you stabilize when you're hiking.
Bob Kevoian
Steady you or. Or poke at something.
Christy Lee
David Zifaldi was ascending granite Peak with two friends when at over 10 miles in, he slipped on rocks and one of his trekking poles pierced his side.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, you'll have that.
Josh Arnold
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
A wound care nurse told KTMF that his medical training immediately took over. The trio decided to hike back with the pole still lodged in Mr. Cifaldi's body. Ah. After about six and a half hours, the group reached the trailhead, and Mr. Safaldi was taken to Intermountain Health in Billings, where doctors were able to remove the trekking pole.
Bob Kevoian
He put. Six and a half hours. It was stuck in him.
Christy Lee
Had to walk. Yeah. The group had reached about 11, 800ft when the accident occurred. The tallest mountain that they were on, the Granite peak, is about 12, 799ft. So they didn't quite make it to the top.
Josh Arnold
No, because old clumsy had to spear himself.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. You've never seen somebody so stupid and clumsy. You poke yourself with your own trekking pole. Trekking pole.
Josh Arnold
Somebody in that group went. Do we all have to go back? Yeah, I mean, we're pretty close to the top. Can I at least go get a picture?
Pat Godwin
Beautiful.
Bob Kevoian
It's a beautiful day.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
This guy's ruined it.
Josh Arnold
Dang it.
Bob Kevoian
Just another reason I don't walk anywhere, you know?
Josh Arnold
I told you not to bring him.
Bob Kevoian
I know. He's. He's dead weight is what he is. Have you gone on a hike record requiring a trekking pole?
Gordon
No.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I don't have one either.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I'm. I gotta start walking. Walking more.
Josh Arnold
Josh, if. So, I'm not calling it a trekking pole. That's my walking stick.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you need it. Well, you look like a trekking pole guy.
Christy Lee
Usually people use two trekking poles when they're walking.
Bob Kevoian
Two?
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah, yeah. Have you not seen that?
Pat Godwin
A good look.
Bob Kevoian
I. If I had a trekking pole, I could not resist the temptation of poking at a snake or something with my.
Gordon
My.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, you'd stick it into holes and stuff, wouldn't you?
Christy Lee
Oh, really?
Josh Arnold
Swinging at a beehive.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. See what's going on?
Christy Lee
You're an instigator.
Pat Godwin
Swinging at a beehive.
Bob Kevoian
I'm an agitator.
El Conquistador
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
You think there are bees up in there? Bang, bang, bang. Yep.
Bob Kevoian
Yep, there are.
Josh Arnold
Oh, sorry, guys.
Christy Lee
You're nature's bully.
Bob Kevoian
I am. I might be. Yeah. I like that.
Christy Lee
Japanese authorities have arrested a man. This is for you. But for allegedly exposing neighbors to seven years of loud electric guitar music. Seven years and radio noise. But a lot of the guitars.
Bob Kevoian
You know, the radio noise, we got.
Pat Godwin
Good morning.
Bob Kevoian
How's everybody?
Christy Lee
Police and coyotes had the underground. Unemployed 61 year old, placed a radio by a window and played radio broadcasts at a loud volume 24 hours a day, every day from 2019 to 2026. And would join in with the electric guitar early morning until evening. The endless noise caused four nearby residents to develop symptoms including insomnia, depression, and tinnitus.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, how the hell.
Josh Arnold
Why would they put up with it for so long?
Christy Lee
Right?
Ace Cosby
Like, I give it like six hours and I would be beating him to death.
Bob Kevoian
Seven years.
Christy Lee
Seven years of it.
Bob Kevoian
That was before the pandemic.
Josh Arnold
Of course they were depressed.
Christy Lee
After being repeatedly warned, he was finally arrested on suspicion of inflicting injury. Police did a re. They searched his home and other places of employment. Found over 40 electric guitars.
Pat Godwin
Oh, sure.
Bob Kevoian
All right. I've been doing this for six years and we're starting this seventh year today. And here's Billy Oce.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
All right, everybody. Sing along if you know it. Seven years.
Christy Lee
Seven years of that? Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Sheesh.
Bob Kevoian
That's too long. What else is coming up, Chrissy?
Christy Lee
Coming up. What do you think of minivans? Yay or nay?
Josh Arnold
I'm kind of yay.
Pat Godwin
I'm gonna go.
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
I guess it has its place. I can't. I can't think of a reason I would specifically need a minivan, but.
Christy Lee
Well, we're going to talk about minivans when we come back because they're in the news. We have a naturist swimmer. You know what that is? Yes. He Was new.
Ace Cosby
Why is it always a man?
Christy Lee
That's a good question.
Bob Kevoian
Although the start of 1941, there's a naked lady going out to. Or was that Jaws?
Pat Godwin
That's jaws.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Well, 1941, the parody.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Speaking of, why is it always a man? Are you familiar with fingerboarding?
Josh Arnold
Like the tiny skateboards?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I had never heard of that until last evening.
Josh Arnold
Somebody was doing it.
Christy Lee
We'll come back and we'll talk about.
Pat Godwin
Fingerboarding can be a blast, if you know what I mean. Am I right?
Josh Arnold
I haven't heard fingerboarding just when you get your fingers wet.
Gordon
Right.
Bob Kevoian
I've heard of the banging part. I've never heard of the boarding part.
Christy Lee
I was really unaware.
Josh Arnold
I can't wait to find out who was doing it.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Josh Arnold
Because I haven't seen it in. In a very long time.
Christy Lee
Well, you missed a really big competition, and I'll. I'll look.
Josh Arnold
A fingerboarding competition.
Bob Kevoian
You remember the.
Josh Arnold
You guys know what it is?
Pat Godwin
No.
Josh Arnold
It's hilarious.
Christy Lee
It's.
Bob Kevoian
It's.
Christy Lee
I. I was stunned. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
So I'm assuming they do tricks and all.
Christy Lee
Yeah, Yeah. I watched a short documentary on fingerboarding last night. So we're going to talk about it.
Bob Kevoian
You remember?
Christy Lee
Not what I thought.
Bob Kevoian
Very short on south park. The boy band was named Finger Bank. Hey, we'll be right back. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.

Pat Godwin

Josh Arnold
Well, they're still the alley guys.
Bob Kevoian
Yep.
Jeff Oskay

Welcome back to the Bob and Tom show. It is Tico Tacos. Tico Taco time. There's Christy Lee at the needle's desk.
Christy Lee
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, this a samba or a What? Lambada. The forbidden dance.
Pat Godwin
I think it's more of a samba. Maybe a bossa nova.
Bob Kevoian
Bossa nova.
Josh Arnold
I knew, like, we could blame it on something.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, there's Pat Godwin.
Pat Godwin
Hello, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
There's Josh Arnold.
Josh Arnold
I saw a store at the mall with a great name. And so we will talk about it.
Christy Lee
All right.
Josh Arnold
I was delighted.
Bob Kevoian
There's Ace Cosby.
Ace Cosby
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
There's Jeff. Oscar.
Ace Cosby
Hey.
Bob Kevoian
Check still has not trimmed your beard.
Ace Cosby
I'm gonna keep it.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, you mentioned. Sometimes you mentioned you're gonna do something.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
And this show ruins that, and then you don't end up doing it. Yeah, we've all been there.
Bob Kevoian
Okay. I tell you what I did over the weekend. I almost changed my part.
Josh Arnold
No, what?
Bob Kevoian
From here. From the left side, I guess, to the right side.
Christy Lee
How can you do that? Won't your hair not?
Bob Kevoian
No, it almost responded. Oh, more better on the right.
Pat Godwin
Did you feel different?
Bob Kevoian
I did feel different. It was a whole new look. As I'm looking back at myself in the mirror, I said, hey, this guy's something.
Pat Godwin
Did you take a photo?
Bob Kevoian
I did not take a photo. Maybe tomorrow I'll change my. We can look forward to that tomorrow party.
Josh Arnold
Down the middle, too. And feather it in the front.
Bob Kevoian
I think I. I had that. I rocked that for a decade. I bet.
Josh Arnold
I mean, that's what you did a lot.
Bob Kevoian
A lot of feathering and a goatee. You saw a store at the mall, Josh.
Josh Arnold
I was lucky enough to go to a mall on Saturday, and it was.
Ace Cosby
Was.
Josh Arnold
It was bustling and vibrant, and it reminded me of the early 90s, mid-80s.
Bob Kevoian
Wow.
Josh Arnold
You know, the height of the. I mean, I was so happy to see all this happen.
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Josh Arnold
And there were kids, like teens hanging out with each other. I was like, oh, a lot of memories came back of, you go to the mall.
Christy Lee
Right.
Josh Arnold
There was a store they sold exclusively socks. Any kind of sock you want, all kinds of designs. Branded.
Bob Kevoian
Is that right?
Josh Arnold
Non branded. Yeah. This name of the store. Socks to be you.
Ace Cosby
That's great.
Bob Kevoian
Socks. Socks to be you.
Josh Arnold
I looked at my nieces, I go. I go, that store is called Socks to be you. And they kind of didn't get it. And I was wondering if the phrase sucks to be you isn't necessarily as widely used as it used to be, or if girls just don't say it as much.
Christy Lee
Probably girls don't, especially that age group.
Bob Kevoian
That might be bullying, Right?
Christy Lee
Well, plenty of that in that age group.
Josh Arnold
It made me want to buy something there. You know what? I'm buying something that. Socks to be you. Yeah, but I didn't need any socks. No, everybody needs socks. I mean, I guess I could have got a, you know, a fun.
Pat Godwin
A tube.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Can you show me something in a.
Bob Kevoian
A tube? Yeah. Now, you know, I'm having trouble finding socks with heels. I'm tired of the tube socks. Can you. You. And you give me a sock with it? You know what? And you guys make fun of me of this. I don't know if you remember. I have socks that are left and right. They're indicated on the soccer.
Josh Arnold
But you swear by them, and I
Bob Kevoian
swear by them, and they last forever. And they're very comfortable, man.
Christy Lee
All right.
Bob Kevoian
They come from a company called Features.
Josh Arnold
F E E T. F E T
Bob Kevoian
U R E S Features.
Josh Arnold
Does it.
Bob Kevoian
They make a good ad.
Josh Arnold
Granted, it probably only adds about 90 seconds, but doesn't that add 90 seconds to the folding process, having to match the left and right?
Christy Lee
Okay. Do you fold?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I fold. I jam them together.
Christy Lee
I roll.
Bob Kevoian
I don't. Yeah. Is that a roll, not a fold?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, I stack.
Christy Lee
What do you mean, you stack?
Bob Kevoian
You put them in your. Wait a minute.
El Conquistador
Wait.
Bob Kevoian
So you lay them down.
Josh Arnold
How can I explain this without. So here's. I'll just use these two posts.
Bob Kevoian
Nerd.
Josh Arnold
Here's a sock. Here's a sock.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Josh Arnold
I stack them right? And then the next pair, I stack them the other way, and those go on top of that, the other pair. So they're just a nice stack in my drawer.
Bob Kevoian
Can you see all of them?
Josh Arnold
I know that when I pull, the reason I do them every other. Is so that it's only 2. It goes 2, 2, 2, 2. So I'm not accidentally getting 3 or 4.
Gordon
4.
Bob Kevoian
Do you have a lot of socks that are the same color?
Josh Arnold
They're all the same. They're all the exact same.
Christy Lee
All the exact same.
Josh Arnold
I mean, I might as well. I could just dump them in the drawer and just grab two.
Bob Kevoian
They're. They're black ankle socks, aren't they? Yeah, yeah.
Gordon
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I. That was the first marriage mistake, if you will. Oh, I helped with the laundry one day, and full roll. I roll the.
Bob Kevoian
This is not your.
Josh Arnold
That's what my. That's how I grew up for stuff. You just roll the top.
Christy Lee
Roll the top right.
Pat Godwin
You did your man's laundry.
Christy Lee
Oh, Andy did not fall for that. No, he folds them like. I mean, he.
Josh Arnold
Okay. Yeah.
Christy Lee
He doesn't.
Josh Arnold
My dress socks are all folded.
Christy Lee
You're stretching out one of the socks.
Bob Kevoian
Wait a minute.
Josh Arnold
No, I agree.
Bob Kevoian
This is your current marriage.
Christy Lee
Yes. Well, it's a marriage mistake.
Bob Kevoian
Did he get mad at you?
Christy Lee
Well, he never gets mad.
Bob Kevoian
It's old. Well, he's gonna get disappointed.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, he Sleep on the couch.
Christy Lee
He said. I. I prefer that you don't do that again.
Pat Godwin
Oh, that's a right pointed.
Bob Kevoian
You know what you hear when he does that? Please don't do that.
Pat Godwin
I prefer if he didn't do that again.
Christy Lee
So guess what? I just don't do his laundry.
Bob Kevoian
Just don't.
Josh Arnold
You get one of those. I prefer like in the housemaid. He'll let you know. Hey, please.
Bob Kevoian
Told you about the second time.
Josh Arnold
Now you're blocked.
Bob Kevoian
How the hell do you think you're stretching out one of his socks? Stupid piece of meat.
Christy Lee
I don't know if you have this, but when my girls were living at home, their socks never match.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, they don't care.
Christy Lee
Throw it in a bag.
Josh Arnold
They just don't care anymore.
Christy Lee
They just have a big. Yeah. That drove me crazy.
Bob Kevoian
To me. That's. You're trying too hard to be funny. That's why it hits me.
Josh Arnold
It's because those are the people who would do it when we were.
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Now they literally don't care.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Now it's normal. It's like they're just.
Josh Arnold
They're not trying to say anything.
Pat Godwin
They're just doing.
Bob Kevoian
They just don't care.
Ace Cosby
Well, now we have a sock basket of unmatched socks that is a entire laundry basket that is spilling over the top. That are unmatched. I do not know where the kids
Christy Lee
just come in and grab a couple and then go get.
Ace Cosby
Apparently, literally today I could not match two socks for 20 minutes. And we have an entire basket. Like a basket. A laundry basket. It with hundreds of socks.
Josh Arnold
Because you want your socks to match.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
I'm not wacky.
Christy Lee
No, you're paid to be wacky.
Bob Kevoian
There's an end to wacky.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
And if you're going to be wacky.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
You get paid for it.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. Not on my feet.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Ace Cosby
The wackiness does not come from my feet.
Bob Kevoian
It's like a doctor doesn't want to be asked about. You tell him about what hurts. He doesn't want to do that. A comedian doesn't want to be forced to it.
Josh Arnold
No.
Pat Godwin
No.
El Conquistador
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
A doctor at a party doesn't want to be.
Bob Kevoian
Wait a minute. Do you fold your underwear too?
Josh Arnold
I do.
Christy Lee
I do. You don't.
Gordon
No.
Bob Kevoian
You just throw it in the drawer. The drawer.
Christy Lee
Really?
Bob Kevoian
How do.
Ace Cosby
How do you fold it, Chris?
Christy Lee
I go in and then go in and then.
Bob Kevoian
How about that Patty liner.
Josh Arnold
You don't just ball them up in my mouth.
Jeff Oskay
I mean.
Bob Kevoian
No, that's what the socks are for
Josh Arnold
everybody's got their thing.
Christy Lee
I admit that some of them are a little tough. Tough to fold.
Pat Godwin
But I prefer you never did that again.
Christy Lee
Okay, Noted.
Josh Arnold
Was it kind of hot?
Christy Lee
What? When he said that.
Josh Arnold
You know what? I'd prefer you never.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, I like Andy more and more
Bob Kevoian
every time I hear, you know, he's. He's somewhere going, now she's talking about it on the air.
Josh Arnold
Did the Jaws theme add to the hotness at all?
Bob Kevoian
I think so.
Josh Arnold
Can we rebrand the Jaws theme as a sexy song dog?
Christy Lee
Yeah, it's kind of sexy. I like a little danger. Who doesn't?
Bob Kevoian
Come on, come on, come on, come on. Oh, yeah. Wait a minute. Oh, it's my foot. Hang on.
Josh Arnold
Don't finish yet. You better hurry.
Bob Kevoian
My God, we're on a clock here. I prefer you not do that.
Christy Lee
So I saw this little short yesterday, okay, Called flick a fingerboarding story.
Bob Kevoian
Now I know flick. I know flick a football with your finger.
Christy Lee
Finger kicking league, part of the wonderful Heartland Film Festival and their shorts. But I had no idea what fingerboarding was. I had never heard of it. I was stunned.
Josh Arnold
Were Jeff and I the only. Had you guys heard of it?
Pat Godwin
Nope.
Josh Arnold
No, I did not. I never owned one. Did you? No.
Pat Godwin
He's not wacky.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, I'm not wacky.
Christy Lee
Apparently the United States Fingerboarding League host the these tournaments.
Bob Kevoian
What?
Christy Lee
Or tournaments?
Bob Kevoian
Yes, tournaments.
Christy Lee
And they. They were the one I watched that the documentary was made on.
Josh Arnold
You are the one that I watched.
Christy Lee
What? Yeah. Oh, I saw Greece over the weekend too, but that's another story.
Bob Kevoian
Tell me about it, stud.
Christy Lee
Andy had never seen Grease. We go see it at a play
Bob Kevoian
and he was before.
Pat Godwin
I never see that again.
Josh Arnold
I kind of hate it too.
Christy Lee
You guys are getting me off.
Bob Kevoian
I hate. I hate Greece. It's awful.
Christy Lee
It's not awful.
Bob Kevoian
Anybody no man likes, they're never going to see anything else ever again.
Josh Arnold
We'll come back with your.
Christy Lee
We'll come back to finger
Bob Kevoian

And let's return to the news desk with Christy where we're. A finger.
Ace Cosby
Wait, real quick. I don't want you to miss out on this. I heard you miss my lake, Mr. Lake Freeman. 2026.
Bob Kevoian
I just looked it up.
Ace Cosby
Jason. If you could put it up there it is. Amazing. That is me on a lovely. What is it? A float mat.
Christy Lee
And I love those. Those are the best.
Bob Kevoian
Quite afloat. Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. I positioned my leg to cover my big belly.
Pat Godwin
That looks good.
Christy Lee
Do you have that attached to the. The bottom of the lake or does it free float?
Ace Cosby
That was free floating.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. I was feeling risky.
Josh Arnold
You can see it does have the anchor part.
Ace Cosby
It does. It was not anchored.
Pat Godwin
Testicle hanging up.
El Conquistador
No.
Josh Arnold
Maybe you'll have to go to Jeff's Instagram.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, yeah. Check it out.
Josh Arnold
So what is your Insta?
Ace Cosby
Jeff? Osu. Yeah. Simple to find.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, that's right.
Bob Kevoian
It's not Ashkin. Oscar Bosch. Could be.
Ace Cosby
Not this time.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Josh Arnold
Can you stand on that?
Ace Cosby
You can.
Josh Arnold
No, what I'm saying is can you.
El Conquistador
You.
Ace Cosby
I can't.
Josh Arnold
It requires a certain amount of physical fitness.
Ace Cosby
Yes, I did get up and then flipped off the.
Josh Arnold
My main fitness goal is to be able to stand on.
Christy Lee
You'll be able to do that. But I bet you could do it.
Josh Arnold
I didn't try. Over the fourth of July.
Christy Lee
I have a friend who has a. Is it a Weimer Iimer?
Bob Kevoian
Maybe a dog that likes to dress up like people.
Christy Lee
She.
Josh Arnold
I don't.
Bob Kevoian
I don't like those dogs. They freak me out.
Christy Lee
I don't know if that's what it is, but it's. It looks like that kind of dog. And it all day long jumps off the dock onto one of those mats, swims back to the dock and does that just love. All day. All day.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Loves it.
Bob Kevoian
There's a Weimaraner in a three piece Lauren suit and a hat and I don't care for it.
Josh Arnold
It skeeves you out.
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Christy Lee
I might be getting a dog breed wrong. You know, if I do, I'm gonna be in big trouble. I'm sorry.
Pat Godwin
No.
Ace Cosby
Our dogs were running around on it all day.
Christy Lee
Did they like it?
Ace Cosby
Yeah, they loved it.
Christy Lee
My dogs won't get in the water. They hate the water.
Bob Kevoian
I've got puppy fever.
Christy Lee
Oh, really?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, my gosh.
Josh Arnold
Well, what are you thinking?
Bob Kevoian
I think another golden maybe or a mini Aussie.
Christy Lee
You know, I saw the other day, Mini Goldens.
Bob Kevoian
Get out of here.
Christy Lee
They breed golden retrievers with cocker spaniels and they look like little mini golden retrievers.
Josh Arnold
My friend just got a mini. Mini fits right in your palm.
Bob Kevoian
My gosh. That is really.
Josh Arnold
They look like full grown dogs. They're just that. Yeah, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
And you can use them on a monopoly board if you'd like.
Josh Arnold
That's right.
Bob Kevoian
You have to train them. All right. Go to free parking. Good boy.
Christy Lee
Are you willing to drive to Colorado? I know of a great place that rescues little dogs that are pretty interesting.
Bob Kevoian
Well, I fly out to Colorado. I have to buy him a first
Christy Lee
class stick it back. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
All right.
Josh Arnold
You can have this puppy, but it only flies first.
Bob Kevoian
I'm going to call him Mordechai.
Christy Lee
Mordecai, what do you think you're a little dog. Oh, I like Mordecai.
Pat Godwin
Morty, I want an extra large Great Dane. I don't like the minis. I want a double Great Dane.
Christy Lee
Of course you do.
Pat Godwin
Wouldn't that be great? Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Have you ever seen a Great Dane?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, my dad had one.
Ace Cosby
The best.
Bob Kevoian
They look like dinosaurs. They're, they're. You can't imagine how large they are.
Christy Lee
And they think they're lap dogs.
Josh Arnold
That always makes me laugh.
Christy Lee
So lovable, so sweet.
Bob Kevoian
They sit right on your face.
Josh Arnold
Big hearted lungs.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
No, I want another. I want another dog. But I've been shut down on that too. Oh, I can't roll socks. Who, who can't have another Shut you
Bob Kevoian
down on another dog. And what did he say?
Christy Lee
I prefer we don't get another dog.
Josh Arnold
Christy goes, oh, okay.
Pat Godwin
What else do you prefer?
Bob Kevoian
And then he goes, danger. And then Christy says, well, why don't you have some more soup? Well, there you might notice a hint of almond.
Josh Arnold
Let me ask you this, Christy, without getting too private, Andy reprimands you mildly for something. Do you go ahead and kind of do it again to nobody, Know what I'm saying?
Christy Lee
I know what you're saying.
Bob Kevoian
Are you.
Christy Lee
I don't want to push his buttons.
Bob Kevoian
Are you a little turned on? A little nasty by being, by being. Being told what to do?
Christy Lee
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, oh, there you go.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, you do like the bad boys.
Christy Lee
I do.
Bob Kevoian
Have you told him to grow his hair yet?
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh yeah. She like. Christy likes long haired guys.
Christy Lee
That's not gonna happen.
Bob Kevoian
Maybe a wig.
Christy Lee
How about that's not gonna happen? I got him a wig for.
Bob Kevoian
I got him away for cosplay.
Christy Lee
No, no, no. We had, we were invited party. The bedroom An ABBA birthday party. And we had to dress up like people in abba.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, if I ever get invited to an ABBA birthday party, I. I will do this for you.
Josh Arnold
Okay?
Bob Kevoian
You stab me, and I'll stab you.
Josh Arnold
Right. Whoever gets.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah. I. We can't go. We got stabbed.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, I'm sorry. I have been stabbed.
Christy Lee
So he did wear. Unfortunately, he was ill that weekend and wasn't. Wasn't participating in the party.
Bob Kevoian
Is that what he said?
Christy Lee
He got up at one point and did dress for us. I have a picture, but if I show.
Pat Godwin
He was the keyboard player. He was the lead guy.
Christy Lee
I think it was just a 70s disco guy, but if I show it to you guy, I'll probably be in.
Josh Arnold
Andy strikes me as one of those guys. And this is not a criticism. I love that guy. And you know, we love.
Christy Lee
Yeah, we love him, but he.
Josh Arnold
His. The hair that. His yearbook photo. That's the same hair he has right now. It really.
Christy Lee
I can show you that.
Josh Arnold
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
He had really long hair in high school.
Josh Arnold
Oh, gotcha, Gotcha.
Christy Lee
I mean, for the time. Yeah, down to his shoulders.
Bob Kevoian
I think we should see this picture you're talking about. What's the worst he can do? You'll be in the deep freeze for a couple days.
Josh Arnold
You know, all I can do is. I prefer you not discuss me.
Bob Kevoian
What's he gonna do? Hey, don't do that anymore.
Pat Godwin
You don't take this the wrong way, but I'd prefer.
Christy Lee
Huh? Oh, my God.
Josh Arnold
I'll lecture things. You're coming with me.
Bob Kevoian
She's looking. She's looking.
Christy Lee
I'll look for the picture. We're gonna have it next.
Josh Arnold
See, she's wants a little trouble.
Bob Kevoian
Anyway.
Pat Godwin
He's probably. Listen, I'll send it.
Bob Kevoian
Now this finger.
Josh Arnold
Give me a stern talking to.
Christy Lee
I want to show you what this finger boarding.
Bob Kevoian
I love where you smack my ass.
Christy Lee
I do not like that little pat, though.
Pat Godwin
Little pat on.
Bob Kevoian
Well, yeah. You haven't been smacked properly. Hello.
Pat Godwin
You'd like it if I spanked you.
Bob Kevoian
No, you wouldn't.
Christy Lee
Especially wouldn't.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, well, anyway.
Christy Lee
Sorry, Pat.
Bob Kevoian
Now this fingerboarding can't be what I'm envisioning.
Christy Lee
What are you envisioning?
Bob Kevoian
Using my index finger and my middle finger to hop on a skateboard and. And make have maneuvers.
Christy Lee
That's exactly what it is.
Josh Arnold
You've nailed it.
Bob Kevoian
No way.
Josh Arnold
I mean, and all fingers.
Gordon
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, my Lord.
Christy Lee
They do rails.
Pat Godwin
Oh, that is weird.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, come on.
Josh Arnold
No, it's a tiny skateboard.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Pat Godwin
That's crazy.
Josh Arnold
And the Fingers do the tricks as
Christy Lee
though you were on a real skateboard. Yeah, yeah. They. They. They build ramps. They build little mini.
Josh Arnold
Now, here's the thing. Some of the fingerboarding tricks aren't unimpressive.
Bob Kevoian
Right. They'll flip it around like that.
Josh Arnold
Right. It takes some dexterity, but, yeah, it's silly.
Christy Lee
Yeah. And there's a United States fingerboarding league now. And the documentary we watched was a competition, and they were qualifying to go to Germany for the international championships.
Bob Kevoian
You're kidding me.
Pat Godwin
I'm documentary.
Christy Lee
You're not kidding. It's quite the little community, which I think is great. Find your niche and run with it.
Josh Arnold
Right.
Christy Lee
It's awesome. There were. Not my point. Way back from where we were talking earlier. Not a lot of girls there. Yeah, yeah.
Josh Arnold
It's not dissimilar to air guitar.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
In that it's. You're not doing the actual thing. It's kind of a silly version of the actual thing thing.
Bob Kevoian
They. But they spend some time building those ramps.
Christy Lee
Yes. They build all kinds of different.
Josh Arnold
And the tiny skateboards aren't cheap. They are, like, good.
Christy Lee
And they collect. One guy had 19,000 of them or something crazy.
Bob Kevoian
19,000 tiny skateboards?
Christy Lee
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Well, that's. That's a sickness is what that is.
Josh Arnold
Well, the most famous is, of course, Tony Chicken Hawk. Smaller version.
Bob Kevoian
A smaller version of Tony Hawk?
Pat Godwin
That's right.
Bob Kevoian
Didn't they do a study on Tony Hawk? He has like one in a million sense of balance or something.
Josh Arnold
Really?
Christy Lee
Is that true?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Oh, that would explain his skill then.
Bob Kevoian
Even now. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Can you ride a skateboarder? Were you ever a skateboarder?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, I. I wasn't. I could never do tricks or anything like that, but I could. I could go around the block. I mean, I could go downhill, uphill, around the block and stuff like that.
Christy Lee
Jeff. No, you look like a skateboarder.
Ace Cosby
No, I have no coordination. I could not. Not ride a skateboard. Like. No.
Bob Kevoian
When you weigh 300 pounds in fifth grade, you don't ride skateboards. And.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, you get pushed around.
Bob Kevoian
I just don't. Yeah. I didn't have you fight the football coach off is what you do.
Christy Lee
But my grandparents moved to California when I was nine. Eight or nine. And so I spent a lot of summers out there and I thought that was the hottest thing ever.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, I bet.
Christy Lee
Skateboard. Oh, so cool. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
You go down and watch the guys at the skate park.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Pat Godwin
All with.
Christy Lee
Well, they didn't have skate parks back then. You just. Everybody was just skating at the beach and.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
On streets.
Bob Kevoian
It's tough to skateboard at the beach,
Christy Lee
you know what I mean?
Pat Godwin
Drags you down the sand, go too fast.
Bob Kevoian
It's kind of a metaphor for life.
Josh Arnold
That's how surfing got started. Skateboarders went. If we took the wheels off and just went into the water, this would be a lot better. It's in Endless Summer, the documentary, right?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Endless Summer. Landmark movie that everyone know. A classic, unbelievable movie.
Christy Lee
One of Tom's favorite films.
Bob Kevoian
That's exactly right.
Ace Cosby
House.
Bob Kevoian
And here's Christy with one of the, your favorite car ever.
Christy Lee
Yes. The Hyundai Tucson hybrid. She's about to turn 50,000 miles this week.
Josh Arnold
You guys, are you having a birthday party?
Christy Lee
Maybe.
Pat Godwin
Maybe an ABBA birthday party.
Christy Lee
Maybe I'll, I'll find that picture for you.
Bob Kevoian
I tell you what, put a cupcake on the manifold and let me know.
Christy Lee
She'll be very grateful.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Christy Lee

Thank you, Christy. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. We'll be right back. This is the Bob and Tom Show. Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Christy Lee at the news desk. There's Pat Godwin.
Christy Lee
Hi. Sorry, I was busy over here.
Bob Kevoian
There's Josh Arnold. Hi. Ace Cosby.
Josh Arnold
Howdy.
Bob Kevoian
There's Jeff Osk.
Ace Cosby
How do you feel about tubing, chick? You ever go tubing? You like getting drugged behind a boat?
Christy Lee
No, I do.
Bob Kevoian
I like, I like being on a pontoon and that's about it. I don't, I'm with you. I don't cotton. The high speed boats, the skiing.
Christy Lee
You don't like to be, you don't like to do a tubing?
Ace Cosby
I, I don't mind driving for others, but I don't know, I don't. And the kids, you're like, hey, you want to go out on the boat? They're like, no, you want to go tubing oh, yeah. For four hours?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh my God.
Ace Cosby
Like they just want to be drugged behind. Do your nieces love that?
Bob Kevoian
Love, love tubing. I know. They have these tube that they fly now, right?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, those are wild.
Bob Kevoian
They're differently shaped and you can really get some air for extended periods.
Christy Lee
I want to try that. Surfing behind the boat. Do you do that?
Ace Cosby
No. You got to have a wakeboat for that.
Christy Lee
Oh, you do?
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Charlie don't surf. Remember that?
Josh Arnold
No, no, of course I remember.
Bob Kevoian
As Apocalypse Now. You don't, sir.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Now they sink the back of the boat and make the waves so you can surf behind it.
Josh Arnold
Fishermen don't usually care for those.
Ace Cosby
People who own docks and seawalls don't necessarily care for those.
Christy Lee
How much I know about lake life. I'm not a cool.
Josh Arnold
I mean that stuff's fun.
Bob Kevoian
You were on the lake last.
Ace Cosby
Last week.
Bob Kevoian
So what was a typical day? You get up, you go to get
Ace Cosby
up, do some breakfast, tubing, come back, lunch, go to the sandy beach, hang out.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, okay.
Ace Cosby
More tubing.
Bob Kevoian
More tubing.
Ace Cosby
Dinner, late night, boat cruise.
Josh Arnold
Okay, cool.
Christy Lee
So do you have a beach right there by your house? Because your house is up on it.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. No, you. You have to go down the river. Oh, you gotta go down the river to find and.
Bob Kevoian
And didn't your father build a water slide?
Ace Cosby
Yeah, it got a lot of use.
Josh Arnold
Nice, dude.
Ace Cosby
A lot of water.
Christy Lee
Did you go down the slide?
Ace Cosby
I did go down the. I rode the slide.
Bob Kevoian
And how long is the slide?
Ace Cosby
Couple hundred feet. It's twist and turn. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
What was the water temperature? Nice.
Ace Cosby
Jumped off the dock. Oh yeah. It was like 80.
Jeff Oskay
Oh yeah.
Ace Cosby
It was perfect.
Josh Arnold
Do you need a mat for your water slide?
El Conquistador
No.
Josh Arnold
You know how some water slides require some sort of of.
Ace Cosby
No, no. You come down and on your own. Yeah.
Christy Lee
You have a hose through it, right? You have water.
Ace Cosby
We have, we have two pumps that water up to the top of the slide.
Christy Lee
Fancy.
Ace Cosby
Oh yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Did you help at all with any of that installation?
El Conquistador
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
You did a ton of it, didn't you?
Ace Cosby
I helped build the house with my bare hands.
Bob Kevoian
Is that right?
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
I couldn't afford gloves barehanded.
Bob Kevoian
My follow up question is, do you expect me to believe that?
El Conquistador
No.
Christy Lee
No. Why don't you have all of us?
Bob Kevoian
You really did.
Christy Lee
We should have a team.
Ace Cosby
Oh, we're going to.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. A team building weekend.
Pat Godwin
Let's just do it. Not talk about it and just do it.
Josh Arnold
Let's just do it this weekend.
Pat Godwin
Ready?
Christy Lee
I can't come this weekend.
Pat Godwin
You know what? About you.
Bob Kevoian
I'm there.
Ace Cosby
Okay.
Bob Kevoian
I can come this weekend.
Ace Cosby
All right. This weekend. Jason, we're all in.
Josh Arnold
Let's do it.
Pat Godwin
You know I'm in. I'm going to cancel my gig. I'm in.
Ace Cosby
Cancel.
Christy Lee
No, you're not.
Ace Cosby
Take the water slide with your elbow.
Bob Kevoian
Take water on. On your bad shoulder. Okay.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, I'll be doing no sledding.
Bob Kevoian
What's going on over there?
Christy Lee
Anybody still interested in this photo of Andy is.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, of course.
Bob Kevoian
Absolutely has one.
Christy Lee
There it is.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, okay. Oh, yeah. He's pointing.
Christy Lee
He's more elvisy looking.
Josh Arnold
I love it.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, look at that wedding ring. You can almost feel the weight of it.
Pat Godwin
So heavy. It's heavier every year.
Christy Lee
I didn't.
Bob Kevoian
So heavy.
Josh Arnold
Very nice of him to put it on. On for the photo.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Normally it's on his keychain out in the car.
Christy Lee
Oh, of course. Like any good Mary van. Right?
Bob Kevoian
Okay. All right.
Christy Lee
Millennials are trying to make minivans cool again. According to the car shopping website, Edmunds minivan sales grew over 20% in 2025.
Bob Kevoian
Hello, I'm Edmund. Let me show you the minivans.
Christy Lee
Millennial parents are discovering the vehicle's practical features that make it easier to shuffle kids around. Especially when you have one hand and you've got a baby in the other. It's very nice to just push a button.
Josh Arnold
Well, I mean, being a parent is hard for the two handed also.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I should have said it one hand free. I apologize.
Josh Arnold
Oh, I understand.
Christy Lee
Minivans are also an affordable option compared to the cooler, muscular SUVs that were once family vehicles of choice, but are now some of the most expensive on the market. Nostalgia may play a role as well.
Josh Arnold
Ah, yes.
Christy Lee
One millennial mom confessed. I never in a million years thought that, that this would come out of my mouth. But I'm starting to really romanticize having a minivan.
Josh Arnold
It's not bad.
Christy Lee
A lot of these people grew up in them too.
Bob Kevoian
I think there was a point in my life where if I could have, and I couldn't at the time, I would have bought a minivan with the kitchen table and, and the bed and the whole, the whole thing.
Christy Lee
That's a full size right there in the van.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I didn't.
Ace Cosby
We had the minivan. Well, we still have it. My son, that's the car he drives and he loves it. His friends love it. It's got the fold down TV screen. They drive around watching the movies. They go to the drive in, they fold all the seats into the floor. And lay in the back. They love it.
Christy Lee
And he can haul my furniture around. Thank you, Elijah.
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah, no, it's great. It has 267,000 miles on it.
Josh Arnold
Nice, dude.
Bob Kevoian
Wow.
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah, he loves it.
Christy Lee
I never owned one. Came close. Ordered one, but then couldn't.
Josh Arnold
We had one as a family, the Dodge Caravan. And then. And then it became mine. It was one of my first cars.
Christy Lee
Oh, really?
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Right.
Ace Cosby
Did you like having a van as a team?
El Conquistador
I loved it.
Josh Arnold
Loved it.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
I mean, there was sort of like, you know, everybody else had kind of cool cars or whatever, and I was just schlepping around in this minivan, but I didn't care.
Christy Lee
You could fit all your friends in there.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. And then when it was just me and the girlfriend, I was at a house, you're aware.
Ace Cosby
Oh, no, I didn't think about that.
Bob Kevoian
Ted Bundy drove a minivan. Right, right.
Josh Arnold
I don't think they were necessarily around when he was cruising.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, I think he did. He had one of the Van.
Pat Godwin
Van, maybe.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, can you help me lift this couch?
Josh Arnold
And what are you, about a size 14?
Jeff Oskay
Oh,
Bob Kevoian
what did you have yet?
Christy Lee
Christy, What British Nudist group has been left distressed and bewildered?
Bob Kevoian
Bng. Yeah. British Nudist group.
Christy Lee
Nudist by the cancellation of their long running monthly swimming sessions.
Ace Cosby
Oh, no.
Christy Lee
According to the BBC, the Northampton Bay Sun Group hosted a swim at Mount Baths on the second Sunday of every month since 1982.
Bob Kevoian
Mount what?
Christy Lee
Baths. B A T H S Bats.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Christy Lee
However, they were recently informed that the naked swim could no longer continue. Everyone active, which took over the running of the West North Hampshire Shire Council building, explained it had been unable to secure the staffing agreements needed to operate. Apparently. Apparently they didn't want to have anybody. Nobody wanted to work during the nudist day.
Josh Arnold
I say take it to the Thames.
Bob Kevoian
Right.
Josh Arnold
Just a bunch of naked people swimming
Bob Kevoian
around, dysentery as far as the eye could see.
Christy Lee
Maggie Morritin of Sun Group told the broadcasters of the BBC the situation has been very distressing. To have it suddenly taken away from us is bewildering. That's a total English. Totally bewildering.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, well, they'd say it's bewildering, isn't it?
El Conquistador
Isn't it?
Bob Kevoian
They always ask, ask.
Ace Cosby
Oh, yes.
Bob Kevoian
It's really crazy, isn't it? I don't. I. I couldn't do the. The naked anything.
Christy Lee
But could you watch others do it? So you. I mean, if you were asked to
Bob Kevoian
work that shift, I'm almost as uncomfortable watching As I would be participating. I think I just don't. You know, you. You could do it. No, no, I don't.
Ace Cosby
I don't. I don't like nude.
Christy Lee
You don't like nude? You don't like watching nude looking at nude.
Ace Cosby
If I get to pick who's nude. Okay, like I don't want random nude.
Bob Kevoian
Sometimes that's the best news. Random nude take you by surprise. Oh. Oh yeah. Look at that.
Christy Lee
Ah, let's see. What do we got here? Two men are suing a North Dakota hospital after DNA tests revealed they were switched at birth. 38 years ago, Kyle island discovered his birth family after taking an at home DNA test.
Bob Kevoian
Test what?
Christy Lee
That he randedly received as a Christmas gift exchange. You know, these DNA tests have caused more problems. That's a documentary I want to see.
Bob Kevoian
They should have on the box. Not responsible for any family fights this might call.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I know somebody just recently who found out had a half sister. Had no idea his dad that raised him wasn't his real dad.
Josh Arnold
Plus they supply all that DNA evidence to the FBI and the CIA. So you could be framed for a murder you never committed. Go ahead, Chris.
Christy Lee
Really?
Ace Cosby
He's not wrong.
Christy Lee
Well, you guys watch too much True Crime.
Bob Kevoian
No, no, no. If you do the addition two plus two plus 9,000 is four. So.
Christy Lee
So this Kyle guy does this DNA test. He was connected with a Jeremy Morrison. They were the only babies born on January 26, 1988 at Unity Medical center in Grafton, North Dakota. But somehow were sent home with the wrong parents.
Josh Arnold
Does it even matter at this point? They grew up with who they grew up with, right?
Christy Lee
Yeah. The hospital said there's no evidence staff was responsible for the switch. Maybe it was the dad. I don't like the way that one looks. I'll take that one.
Josh Arnold
Oh, really? Cuz I kind of like that one.
Christy Lee
Okay, good. Just don't tell her. I won't tell.
Ace Cosby
That one won't stop crying.
Pat Godwin
I think we got the wrong kid at this point.
Christy Lee
Really?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, he doesn't behave like anybody I. I know.
Bob Kevoian
Really?
Pat Godwin
He's 15. He's going through a thing.
Christy Lee
Are you sure he's not behaving exactly how you behaved when you.
Pat Godwin
Oh, he's exactly as.
Christy Lee
That's what I thought. Yeah. I don't know. Apparently there's no other information about whether they've decided to meet their real birth parents.
Ace Cosby
I believe I've read about that. And yes, they ended up. They met each other. They met their real parents and decided
Christy Lee
to just leave well enough alone.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, pretty Much.
Josh Arnold
How could they not, right?
Bob Kevoian
I'm surprised.
Ace Cosby
Well, I mean, if, if the one's super rich, you went to the poor family and you're not getting any of the inheritance, I, I'd care.
Bob Kevoian
I'm surprised this didn't happen. This didn't happen more often back in the 80s. I mean, it was disco all the time.
Christy Lee
Yeah, right. They didn't have the.
Bob Kevoian
Here, man, take this one, man. Yeah, that's fine, man.
Pat Godwin
Right now they're very careful at the hospital.
Christy Lee
Oh yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Don't they like put a little. All kinds of stuff.
Ace Cosby
Wristband scan you?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, they do.
Ace Cosby
Oh, they got the, they got the beep beep.
Bob Kevoian
They tattoo it on your deck.
Pat Godwin
They put a chip in.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
Oh, there you go.
Josh Arnold
I have yet to go to a hospital and leave without a. With a baby.
Christy Lee
You've been trying.
Josh Arnold
Yes. You know how much you can make?
Bob Kevoian
Go to the maternity ward.
Pat Godwin
Oh, look at my little son over here. Can I hold him?
Bob Kevoian
Healthy baby on the black market.
Josh Arnold
Oh, dude.
Ace Cosby
How would you feel about a slightly used 16 year old? I know it's not a baby, but it's a kid.
Josh Arnold
Drive licensed.
Ace Cosby
Licensed and doesn't eat that much.
Josh Arnold
So I could chauffeur this. The person I could use. I could uber. They could Uber and I could take 50% of what they make, if not more.
Pat Godwin
I could undercut Jeff's price with a 15 year old that's for sale. Oh, 50% off. 50% off to you, free.
Christy Lee
There you go.
Ace Cosby
Just for the record, those baby boxes are the fire department that your kid won't fit on it.
Bob Kevoian
Oh my God.
Josh Arnold
You're not trying to fit in it.
Pat Godwin
I'll have to get a pod,
Bob Kevoian
pull up in a truck, leap in the bed, see what happens.
Christy Lee
I missed a lot last week because I wasn't here a couple of days. Did you do the circus performer who got shot in the neck with the.
Josh Arnold
No, no, we didn't.
Christy Lee
It sounds a circus performer was airlifted to the hospital after his colleague, Mr. Target and hit him in the neck with an arrow while performing in New York.
Bob Kevoian
Okay, it totally my fault. I'm sorry.
Christy Lee
The incident happened as Edwin Cuervo Rangel and a Aina. No, it's Anna.
Bob Kevoian
What would you do with a woman who said, oh, hi, your name's Anna? No, it's Anna.
Josh Arnold
Oh, I have to leave.
Bob Kevoian
Okay, well, you stay right here. I'll be right back.
Christy Lee
Couple were performing at the Orange county fair and around 9:30pm Friday, apparently, according to the news, this couple is married by the way. The two performers from Wisconsin were doing a stunt when Ms. Tavera shot an arrow at a foam target that Cuervo Rangel was holding. The arrow struck and injured him in the neck.
Josh Arnold
Ah, we don't have to practice. She said.
Pat Godwin
I don't.
Josh Arnold
You don't need to rehearse.
Bob Kevoian
Stand still, she said.
Gordon
I got this.
Pat Godwin
She said.
Christy Lee
What do you mean? You want to go out with someone else? She said. The man was airlifted to a medical center.
Bob Kevoian
Is he okay?
Christy Lee
Yeah, he was in stable condition. No other injuries.
Josh Arnold
Much like. Boy, that's a story. Yeah. My wife shot me in the neck with an arrow.
Christy Lee
With a crossbow. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
I still regret the day we were hanging out in that garage and there was a crossbow hanging on the wall. I don't know why we didn't get it down and start shooting stuff.
Josh Arnold
Because something in our brains.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Knew we had no we. So only bad could happen.
Bob Kevoian
It would have gotten out of control real quick.
Josh Arnold
Remember you and I had a drone one day and the trouble we got into with that.
Bob Kevoian
Yes. We can't play with across like a petition. It was awful.
Gordon
What?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Didn't William Burroughs kill his wife with a crossbow? No. Shoot like shooting an apple off her head. What?
Gordon
What?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, look it up.
Bob Kevoian
That was William Tell.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. People don't talk about all the. All the murders that occurred with William Tell before.
Bob Kevoian
That's right. He got one. So he got one hit. One apple.
Christy Lee
The guy's supposed to. Is expected to make a full recovery.
Josh Arnold
That's the good news, man.
Christy Lee
Apparently one witness said that she just caught him in the right area, just on the tip of his neck. There was no blood or nothing, but the arrow must have stuck there. He must have just taken him with the arrow still in it.
Pat Godwin
It.
Josh Arnold
I. I bet he made that noise.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, I wonder if I got the arrow here. Hang on a second. Oh, I do. Oh, hang on.
Pat Godwin
Bring that m. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh.
Josh Arnold
Oh. Who's.
Bob Kevoian
Okay, here we. Here we go.
Josh Arnold
We're barely.
Ace Cosby
Yeah. That was worth it.
Josh Arnold
What is it that you've got?
Bob Kevoian
Totally worth it. This is called a canary. It's a yellow canary. It opens up any package.
Josh Arnold
Oh, okay.
Bob Kevoian
It's got serrated edge.
Josh Arnold
So you were just flicking the blade.
Bob Kevoian
I was just flicking the blade.
Pat Godwin
Flicking the blade.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. And. And cursing.
Christy Lee
Anyway, you know, she said, oh, I'm so sorry, honey. Be bad.
Bob Kevoian
You know, and I think the good part about that is any self respecting adult will not bring that.
Christy Lee
Of course not.
Josh Arnold
You can't marry couple.
Bob Kevoian
You really should.
Josh Arnold
If he had shot her, it would Be brought up a lot better.
Pat Godwin
Hear the end of it.
Bob Kevoian
Boy, oh, boy.
Josh Arnold
There is a double standard there.
Bob Kevoian
Absolutely. Absolutely double standard.
Josh Arnold
What do we think of that, Christy?
Pat Godwin
I.
Christy Lee
What do you mean? What do we.
Josh Arnold
Women are allowed to bring up mistakes that guys make time.
Christy Lee
All the double standards you guys get. We get one.
Josh Arnold
You know what? All right, we'll give you that one. We'll give you that one.
Pat Godwin
No, we are perfect.
Josh Arnold
Now, sit there quiet.
Pat Godwin
I prefer you shut up.
Josh Arnold
You know, that's not as sexy as. Yeah, you know, I'd prefer if you just.
El Conquistador
There.
Josh Arnold
If you just shut the hell up.
Pat Godwin
I prefer if you shut.
Bob Kevoian
I really wish you wouldn't roll my socks that way.
Christy Lee
I really do prefer.
Bob Kevoian
I prefer every day.
Josh Arnold
How do you guys feel about the conversation where he says something like that? You know, I'd prefer if you didn't roll my socks. Is there anything else that maybe.
Bob Kevoian
Anything else you think? Well, yeah, anything else. I'm not doing correctly.
Christy Lee
Oh, I do a lot of things. I'm sure, that are not. He is so clean and neat and perfect, and I'm.
Josh Arnold
Is it a problem? I don't.
El Conquistador
Is it a problem?
Pat Godwin
Clean is sexy. That's good for a guy to be clean.
Christy Lee
But I feel guilty because he, you know, picks up after me, and I just feel bad.
Pat Godwin
Got a hell of a man there.
Bob Kevoian
He loves you because you're sloppy.
Christy Lee
I'm not that sloppy, but around him, it looks like I'm sloppy.
Bob Kevoian
Does he have a nice organized drawer for socks and underwear and all that?
Christy Lee
I don't know. I've never seen him.
El Conquistador
It.
Pat Godwin
You're not allowed in there.
Christy Lee
I don't look in his drawers. Not.
Bob Kevoian
You don't get in there, root around. You fish around for something. Grab that. Grab that. Tube steak smothered in underwear. You don't grab that. Let's look.
Josh Arnold
Christie's hiding her face, blushing.
Christy Lee
You know what I meant.
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Christy Lee
Hey. She says, hey.
Bob Kevoian
You're short on cash.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Well, you should call American Finance. If you want to refinance that home you're living in, you could. And it could pay off all that high interest credit card debt. That's right. If you are drowning in credit card interest at 25% or more, let them help you, because that is costing you thousands of dollars a year. Here's the truth. If you're only making minimum payments, that debt's going to follow you for years. That's why you should call American Financing. They're saving customers, on average, $800 a month by using the equity right there in your home to get out of that credit card debt. You owe it to yourself and to your family to see what's possible for you. They have no upfront fees, no pressure, and it costs you nothing to find out what you could save every month. If you start today, you may even be able to delay two mortgage payments. Give American Financing a call at 866-889-2611. That's 866-889-2611 or go to American financing.net

Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Christy Lee at the news desk.
Christy Lee
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
There's Pat Godwin.
Pat Godwin
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
Hello. Josh. Arnold.
Christy Lee
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
There's Jeff Oskay.
Ace Cosby
Hey, man.
Bob Kevoian
Ace Cosby's here.
El Conquistador
Hey.
Bob Kevoian
And we were talking with Christy about trouble in her marriage.
Christy Lee
No, no, no. I have no trouble at all.
Josh Arnold
What?
Christy Lee
Very happy. All good. A pilot lucky to be alive after landing a small plane on the roof of a Houston area home. Home.
Bob Kevoian
Tell him, Josh. Landing a plane, it's one button, guys. So easy.
Christy Lee
Tell this guy. Fire department officials report crews responded to a plane that landed on a house near the Covey Trails airstrip. A pilot suffered minor injuries, was taken to an area hospital.
Pat Godwin
Okay.
Christy Lee
Was not immediately known whether the home was occupied at the time of the incident.
Josh Arnold
He was close to an airstrip.
Christy Lee
He was close.
Bob Kevoian
And you buy a house close to an Airstream trip, you're, you know, like a golf course. You're going to get some golf balls by that much.
Josh Arnold
Remember in Garp, they're looking at a house and the plane flies into it and he goes, we'll take it.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Josh Arnold
What?
Pat Godwin
It's never going to happen again.
Josh Arnold
Odds of this ever happening again are astronomical.
Christy Lee
He's right. There you go.
El Conquistador
Whoa.
Josh Arnold
Oh, it almost looks like one of those glider planes.
Bob Kevoian
Holy hell.
Pat Godwin
It's a cool plane.
Bob Kevoian
That's a cool house.
Christy Lee
A fly well, but it's a very nice house.
Josh Arnold
How did he.
Bob Kevoian
You know what?
Josh Arnold
The house looks like it sustained very little damage.
Christy Lee
That's what I was gonna say.
Josh Arnold
And even the plane looks like it sustained very little damage.
Bob Kevoian
He could take, take off right from there. Why not?
Christy Lee
You're right. It does look like a glider, doesn't it?
Josh Arnold
Thank goodness everybody's okay, that could have been way, way more.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Authorities in Florida say a woman sold off a man's tarantula collection while he was in jail.
Bob Kevoian
Sold them off?
Josh Arnold
How could she do that to this poor guy?
Bob Kevoian
His prize tarantulas.
Josh Arnold
You think she sold them off piecemeal or one lot?
Christy Lee
I don't know. I haven't read the story. I'm learning as much as you are right now. According to the deputies at the jail, after being released, the man discovered his roommate.
Josh Arnold
Where are my babies?
Christy Lee
Had stolen and sold his tarantulas. He reported almost $600 in losses. The 37 year old woman told authorities she did not know when the victim would be released and did not know how to care for for said tarantula.
Bob Kevoian
The cost of tarantulas, a beginner species. 20 to $80.
Josh Arnold
For the tarantula?
Bob Kevoian
Yep. The intermediate, 80 to $200. Now these intermediate are brighter and more fast moving.
Christy Lee
They have the actual species and then
Bob Kevoian
the rare exotic tarantulas, up to $500.
Christy Lee
She faces charges of theft and dealing in stolen property. The collection included a striped devil tarantula and a Golden Knee choco.
Josh Arnold
Oh, those are cool.
Bob Kevoian
Those could be up to 3, $500 a piece.
Christy Lee
Are you serious?
Bob Kevoian
Those are very. They're very much sought after.
Christy Lee
He only reported 600 in losses.
Josh Arnold
She didn't know what she was doing.
Bob Kevoian
She didn't know what she had.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, my God.
Christy Lee
Have you seen one of these? Golden Knee?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, they're cool.
Christy Lee
Okay. I didn't know there were that many brands.
Bob Kevoian
You're your snake guy, your tarant.
Josh Arnold
I had a tarantula as a kid.
Bob Kevoian
You had a tarantula?
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah.
Josh Arnold
Fang.
Christy Lee
Really?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
What do they eat?
Pat Godwin
What do they eat?
Josh Arnold
Crickets.
Bob Kevoian
Did he have one fang?
Josh Arnold
He had two fangs.
Bob Kevoian
Two fangs?
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Did he ever bite you?
Josh Arnold
No, no, no. Never bit.
Bob Kevoian
When you walked over, did he tell you were there?
Josh Arnold
Could fang tell?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. He would come to me and I would call him.
Pat Godwin
Did you walk him?
Christy Lee
No way.
Josh Arnold
Watch him on tiny leash, have him
Christy Lee
sit on your shoulder? Yeah, yeah.
Josh Arnold
He spoke four words.
Christy Lee
Really?
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
What for?
Josh Arnold
I will bite you. But he could never put them together in a sentence.
Christy Lee
Oh, poor guy.
Bob Kevoian
You know, though, tarantula just. Just being a tarantula, I remember the
Josh Arnold
first time it molted. I had no idea. And I walked in and I went.
Bob Kevoian
Until right now. They molted.
Josh Arnold
I walked in, I go and I. Then I look, looked. And there were two tarantulas in the terrarium. And I went to my dad. I go, why did you get me a second tarantula? I didn't know that when they molt, they just. It looks like they've left us another spider.
Bob Kevoian
No way.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I didn't know they did that either till.
Josh Arnold
Just crazy.
Pat Godwin
How old? The same size.
Josh Arnold
Oh, gosh. Nine, 10, 11, 12, probably.
Christy Lee
How long did he last?
Josh Arnold
About three or four years.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Yeah, it was the same size. Yeah, because they molt when they're growing instead of.
Christy Lee
So he only molted once on you?
Josh Arnold
No, it was like, once every year or so.
Christy Lee
Oh.
Ace Cosby
Where did you get it?
Josh Arnold
A pet store.
Bob Kevoian
Really?
Ace Cosby
We're like, dad, I really want to.
Josh Arnold
Tarantula.
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
And I got it for Christmas.
Ace Cosby
Was it under the tree or on the tree?
Pat Godwin
I love that song.
Bob Kevoian
Or is it tarantula in the tree? Yeah.
Christy Lee
Oh, you know, we're supposed to be doing history here.
Josh Arnold
Here.
Pat Godwin
Oh, we're making history. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
We're too busy making history.
Pat Godwin
We're creating history.
Josh Arnold
Why would we talk about what other people have done when we're doing babe?
Christy Lee
Well, good point.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, today's my daughter's birthday.
Christy Lee
Oh, happy birthday.
Bob Kevoian
Happy birthday there, Booger. No, I don't.
Christy Lee
You don't call her Booger?
Bob Kevoian
No, I call her Ellie. July 27th today. Now, let's see. President George Washington signed a measure.
Christy Lee
Not gonna die.
Bob Kevoian
Thousand points of life.
Josh Arnold
George Washington.
Bob Kevoian
A measure establishing the Department of Foreign Affairs, a forerunner of the Department of State. Isn't that interesting? Oh. In 1909, the first official test of the US Army's first airplane.
Christy Lee
Plane.
Bob Kevoian
Orville Wright. That's right. That guy flew himself into passenger Lieutenant Frank Lamb above Fort Myer, Virginia, for one hour and 12 minutes. And Lieutenant Frank Lamb screamed the entire flight.
Christy Lee
I bet they didn't land on a house Believable.
Bob Kevoian
No.
Christy Lee
No, they didn't.
Josh Arnold
So that was the first time the military went, hey, we could utilize those.
Bob Kevoian
We could use a plane. Wow. Help the war efforts.
Josh Arnold
Do you think he dropped like water balloons to see.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, man. Just to see if it.
Gordon
I would.
Josh Arnold
Right, Right.
Bob Kevoian
I would think. Right. Let's see. I'm licking my.
Christy Lee
I have some.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Christy Lee
In 1999, since we've been talking about skateboarding, Tony Hawk becomes the first skateboarder to land a 900.
Ace Cosby
Wow.
Christy Lee
What's a 900 anyway?
Josh Arnold
Now he's pushing turmeric on TV.
Bob Kevoian
That's like three revolution.
Josh Arnold
It's when you jump up, you go up, up the ramp, and you get in the air and you spin 900 times, then come right back down.
Christy Lee
Wow. That's Pretty impressive.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
You spend two and a half times.
Bob Kevoian
Unbelievable.
Pat Godwin
He said 900.
Josh Arnold
It was not. Yeah. Oh, it takes 25 minutes.
Bob Kevoian
It's very, very rarely done. That's why we celebrate it.
Christy Lee
Chicky.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Christy Lee
And on the stage in 1940, Bugs Bunny first debuts in Wild Hair.
Josh Arnold
H A R E. They might as well.
Bob Kevoian
Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.
Ace Cosby
My.
Bob Kevoian
My parents, I saw them more than anybody else. Also on this day. Let's see. You guys know who Ryan Tannehill is? Ryan Tanahil, former quarterback of the Titans. And I'm not really sure where he is right now. Oh, he could be with the Titan. 1969, Triple H was born.
Josh Arnold
Nice.
Bob Kevoian
Actual name, Paul Levesque.
Christy Lee
Oh, he said WWE guy.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. He's also married to Stephanie, I think. McMahon. Oh, yeah. Let's see. Maya Rudolph. It's her birthday.
Christy Lee
She's very funny.
Pat Godwin
I love her poems.
Bob Kevoian
And her husband is Alfred Hitchcock.
Josh Arnold
I believe you're thinking of Maya Angelou.
Christy Lee
Yeah, you're getting Maya bad.
Josh Arnold
And no, she's not married to Alfred Hitchcock. She's Paul Thomas Anderson.
El Conquistador
Oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, they're both directors. You see how I could make it? Alex Rodriguez, born this day in 1975. A rod in 1596.
Christy Lee
He's rich.
Bob Kevoian
Walter Raleigh brings the first tobacco into England from Virginia.
Josh Arnold
Was he a sir then?
Bob Kevoian
Sir? No, not yet. As a matter of fact, when he got to England from Virginia, the English people said, Walter Raleigh. Did you know there's a cigarette named after you? The Raleigh's. He goes, no, I might want to get on that. Huh? Let's see. In 1953, the Korean War ended. In 1974, the House starts impeachment of Richard Nixon. Oh, how about that? I am not a. America needs to know that their president is not a crook.
Josh Arnold
What are your thoughts? I recently heard somebody say, if Watergate happened today, it would be a 10 hour news cycle. It would be. That's.
Christy Lee
That's about as impactful as it would be for us now.
Josh Arnold
It just wouldn't. No one. I believe that, yeah, 10 hours might be a little short, but maybe a week.
Bob Kevoian
People be like, okay, I'm disappointed saying that, but I think it, it's interesting. I think it would be maybe about. Yeah, certainly not any more than a day.
Pat Godwin
Yes, they had listening devices and wigs.
Bob Kevoian
That's right. That's right. We had a. A fake dog with a microphone in its ear.
Josh Arnold
Do you think he knew everything?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah, of course. You got to think big, Henry.
Josh Arnold
Evidence now shows he really was not in the. In the know There. He, he.
Bob Kevoian
That's probably.
Christy Lee
Are you. What are you looking.
Bob Kevoian
That's probably closer to the truth. Anyway, I have Richard Dixon tattooed on my back.
Christy Lee
1974, I was so not into what was going on in the country. You know, 1974, I was watching the Partridge Family. I didn't care. Hell, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
I remember in 74 and 75, I was very worried about the draft. I remember that.
Christy Lee
Oh, were you really?
Pat Godwin
I was, too. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
There's a great movie called Dick. Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
Yeah. My kids love that movie.
Josh Arnold
That is genuinely funny and clever and sweet. So check that out. It's about Watergate, but in a very comedic way.
Ace Cosby
Very good.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
We'll be back with more. More comedic ways. Yeah. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jeff Oskay

Bob Kevoian
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. Christy Lee at the news desk.
Christy Lee
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
Hello, Pat Godwin.
Pat Godwin
Hey, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
There's Josh Arnold.
Gordon
Hi.
Christy Lee
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
There's Ace Cosby. Hello. I am Chick. And hello, Jeff Oskay.
Ace Cosby
Hey, buddy.
Bob Kevoian
And I believe Steve. We are looking for a tarantula, a show tarantula to own. We could keep them right here on the counter.
Christy Lee
I would love that. Mom would be freaked.
Josh Arnold
Would you ever go to a tarantula ranch where they just have thousands?
Christy Lee
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Well, tarantula hurting when they take him to. To market. That. That's a little. That's a little rough.
Christy Lee
Do they have little tractors? Do they have little trailers?
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
The problem is the, the horses tend to step on some of the tarantulas. But other than that, it's exciting.
Josh Arnold
Could you guys hold it one?
Christy Lee
I have never had him crawl up my arm.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Never, Never, never.
Josh Arnold
Never ain't afraid of nothing.
Christy Lee
Well, there are a few things I'm afraid of.
Josh Arnold
Could you, Pat?
Pat Godwin
No, I could not.
Josh Arnold
Chick says never, Ace. No, no.
Christy Lee
What about those big cockroaches?
Josh Arnold
Ah, that's where you're.
Christy Lee
Where people, like, wear them like a brooch.
Josh Arnold
That's where you're getting into my fear.
Christy Lee
Oh, you don't like cockroaches?
El Conquistador
No.
Josh Arnold
And I'm allergic to them.
Christy Lee
Really?
Josh Arnold
Yeah. So I think I, my theory, my contention is that I'm afraid of them because I have an allergy. My body knows.
Christy Lee
Oh, there you go.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. So I've always, I never liked him as kids Nothing.
Pat Godwin
Or do you like the song La Cucaracha?
Josh Arnold
I do like that.
Pat Godwin
I'm not allergic to the hearing that.
Josh Arnold
I'm not. I don't. I don't get scared or allergic to hearing the cucaracha. That's why.
Bob Kevoian
And it is.
Josh Arnold
That's why my horn plays.
Bob Kevoian
Is it? That is. That is cockroach, right?
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Why would it not?
Pat Godwin
Why would they name little bug
Bob Kevoian
a little teeny tiny bug.
Josh Arnold
There's a. At the St. Louis Zoo, they have a huge insectarium type.
Pat Godwin
You okay, Josh?
Josh Arnold
Really loud. They have a.
Gordon
Thank you.
Josh Arnold
Hissing cockroach tank and a phone connected to it. So when you pick up the phone and listen to it, you can hear them in there hissing.
Gordon
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
No way.
Josh Arnold
It just skeeves me out bad.
Christy Lee
Are you afraid of any animals besides cockroaches?
Bob Kevoian
Just processed servers. I'm scared of those.
Pat Godwin
Oh, man.
Bob Kevoian
Well, you've been served.
Pat Godwin
What? I've had that happen.
Christy Lee
Have you?
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Josh Arnold
You know what they should do? They should train animals to be process servers. So it's less of a.
Pat Godwin
A.
Josh Arnold
If a. If a monkey in a suit came up and just handed you an envelope, you'd be giggle.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I'd be half pleased. Half d. I don't know. I don't like. I don't like. I don't like snakes. I don't like spiders. I don't like spiders and snakes. I don't. Yeah, that's what it is. That's what it is. Yeah.
Christy Lee
What about you, Oscar? You don't look like you'd be afraid of much.
Ace Cosby
Ah, yeah. I don't like bugs.
Bob Kevoian
Is it possible for a tarantula to be in your beard right now?
Ace Cosby
Now there is a chance. There is a small family.
Bob Kevoian
Do you remember a guy said he had a beard much like yours, but he decided to shave it and he found two chicken feathers in his beard?
Ace Cosby
Yes.
Christy Lee
What?
Ace Cosby
I must have not been there.
Bob Kevoian
And he decided that it was from his down pillow. He had a real down pillow.
Josh Arnold
He was alarmed for a while.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. He was like, how the hell did these feathers get in my beard? And it was from his pillow.
Christy Lee
Do you comb it like you have a comb? Initial comb. So you would know if something worked in there?
Ace Cosby
Yes, I would know if there's a living animal.
Pat Godwin
You got a lake leech, maybe from the weekend?
Ace Cosby
Oh, there is a chance I got a lake leech. That's a good point.
Christy Lee
Are there lake leeches?
Pat Godwin
Sure.
Bob Kevoian
Use the. The beard oil and all that.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, man. Yeah. Good. I thought I was out of that the man.
Josh Arnold
The man takes you. The man takes care of himself.
Bob Kevoian
I thought so.
Ace Cosby
How much space do I need for a tarantula?
Josh Arnold
A goods.
Gordon
3.
Bob Kevoian
3 acres.
Christy Lee
Like an aquarium.
Josh Arnold
3 acres per.
Ace Cosby
Per spider.
Josh Arnold
About the size of those two mon. Other would be nice. And then you want.
Ace Cosby
You have a wheel. Do you get the wheel?
Bob Kevoian
They love to run on the wheel.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
El Conquistador
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Rocks.
Bob Kevoian
Yep.
Christy Lee
They don't do much, do they?
Bob Kevoian
No.
Pat Godwin
Play cards.
Josh Arnold
They'll climb up on the side.
Bob Kevoian
Do you have to clean the cage of, like, scat and things?
Josh Arnold
They. What they do is so they. If you. When you put the crickets in there, the crickets are all hopping around on their own.
Bob Kevoian
And they like live crickets, right?
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
So that. And it pounces on them and fangs them. And then. And then it'll take multiple crickets and turn it into almost a ball and then just drink, kind of like. It's awful. Sometimes you have to leave those. The cricket. Or you have to pick that out.
Pat Godwin
But then one morning, you'll wake up and like magic. There's two tarantulas.
Josh Arnold
That's how it was. That's the first time it was molting. Yeah. Crazy. And I took the molten to school for show and tell.
Pat Godwin
You must have got an A for that.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, but no girls.
Bob Kevoian
You're forever the spider guy. Yeah. Josh Arnold. Oh, that spider guy. Yeah, that's him.
Josh Arnold
Even the fangs molt. It's nuts.
Pat Godwin
No way.
Josh Arnold
The eyes. Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
What?
Josh Arnold
Crazy.
Bob Kevoian
Yikes.
Josh Arnold
What if we did that?
Ace Cosby
So are they poisonous? Like, if it bit you, would you have had to go to the hospital? Or do they take out the part
Josh Arnold
that I may have gone just so they could disinfect it? But they have venom. But they're not. Nothing that's gonna really.
Ace Cosby
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
Cause it'll kill a cricket, but it won't kill you.
Josh Arnold
What they do, though, that's. That was more alarming to me is if they feel threatened, they will rub their legs together and fling their hairs, and those can stick into you like tiny needles. And that can just be irritating.
Christy Lee
Really?
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
They're like ninjas.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. Yeah, exactly. It's like they throw their hair.
Pat Godwin
Chinese stars are thrown at you. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
So that was always more, like, odd to me than getting bit. I didn't. I mean, I didn't want to get.
Bob Kevoian
So. Anything else.
Christy Lee
You pissed off your tarantula.
Josh Arnold
Did I?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
No, no.
Christy Lee
But.
Josh Arnold
But you can piss it off just by putting your hand down in there. It doesn't.
Christy Lee
I got.
Josh Arnold
You want to be bothered.
Bob Kevoian
It's real Right. Who knows what makes him mad anymore? Yeah, I don't think he wants to be in this relationship.
Josh Arnold
Moody.
Bob Kevoian
He's a real moody.
Josh Arnold
They're a moody pet.
Pat Godwin
They want. They want their space.
Josh Arnold
They want space.
Pat Godwin
Oh, they want their space.
Bob Kevoian
So nothing else? You got the snake and the spider. That was it?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Those were the only weird things.
Christy Lee
Did you have a weird pet, Jeff?
Ace Cosby
Oh, I had snakes, but I would just catch them in the yard and put them in a bucket. I can keep them. Garter snakes and rat snakes and stuff.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Really?
Josh Arnold
Did you ever go to catch a lizard and the tail would come off in your hand?
Ace Cosby
No, I never. I had a lizard later in life.
Josh Arnold
Life. Like a.
Ace Cosby
Too old to have a lizard. Like. Like 27.
Bob Kevoian
Isn't there a lizard? A bearded dragon.
Ace Cosby
Yeah, bearded dragon.
Josh Arnold
Now they use beard oil and they have a brush.
Bob Kevoian
That's what I thought.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. They shave it into different shape. They have the attack beard and the attack.
Christy Lee
Did you have a pet growing up?
Bob Kevoian
I always wanted the dog, but someone who remained nameless would not let me get a dog dog.
Christy Lee
But you didn't have, like, a.
Bob Kevoian
She insisted on cats, so.
Christy Lee
Oh, you had a. You had a dime store tortoise, right, or.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I had a dime, a Woodstock. Oh, and you go over and my. If my dad would go over and go, turtles, turtles, turtles. He'd run around. I found out. Realized later that the turtle was terrified by some sort of. Some sort of noise coming from above. But, yeah, I had him forever.
Gordon
Forever.
Christy Lee
Did you really?
Bob Kevoian
He might still be alive somewhere.
Christy Lee
He might. He might have grown into a big turtle.
Bob Kevoian
Turtles live forever.
Christy Lee
They live a long time.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Christy Lee
Animal welfare officers in England rescued a marmoset monkey that had been abandoned inside a laundry bag on a London bus.
Josh Arnold
Who would do that?
Christy Lee
The female primate was found trapped in a small metal bird cage, wrapped inside a checkered plastic bag.
Bob Kevoian
What the hell?
Christy Lee
I know, right? The monkey has since been named Oyster and has been transferred to a sanctuary while she'll be introduced to a male companion investigators are now looking at.
Josh Arnold
Oh, so now it's trafficked camera footage
Christy Lee
to identify whoever abandoned the monkey. I'd rather. I'd like to say it's an arranged marriage.
Josh Arnold
Oh, okay. It's not. I see. Yeah, that's better.
Christy Lee
It's a lot.
Bob Kevoian
That does sound nicer.
Christy Lee
Yes. Being trafficked.
Bob Kevoian
I know. I remember wanting a monkey when I was. But then the older I. I became the. I realized monkeys are kind of bad news.
Josh Arnold
Yeah. I like my nose.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
And where it is yeah, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
They go right for the face, don't they?
Christy Lee
No, not always.
Josh Arnold
Why'd you go for the face? That's the part that was looking at me. I didn't like it.
Bob Kevoian
That's where the sound's coming from. That's what we're doing. That's right.
Christy Lee
A team of South Korean and US researchers have unveiled robotic technology that'll dress you up without using your hands or getting help from others.
Josh Arnold
I trust this.
Pat Godwin
None things that could go wrong.
Christy Lee
I have.
Bob Kevoian
I have a robot dresser. What's that? Well, I just stand there and now I will tell you this. I will tell you this. You probably shouldn't wear a necktie. But other than that, he does a real good job.
Christy Lee
The wearable technology uses soft and flexible, quote, unquote quote vines powered by air pressure.
Josh Arnold
They're calling them vines, not what they are, tentacles.
Christy Lee
Tentacles embedded in clothing. When pressurized, the vines glide the fabric up close to the wearer's body. Like an ivy plant, you know, climbing on a structure. Here you go.
Josh Arnold
It's like being married to Audrey, too.
Pat Godwin
The belt doesn't go up my ass.
Bob Kevoian
Okay, that is weird.
Pat Godwin
That is crazy.
Josh Arnold
Well, yeah, but look at that. I mean, it's just like gray overalls. This is only good if you're Michael Myers.
El Conquistador
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Most of your wardrobe, serial killer wear.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Oh, my.
Christy Lee
It takes only about 10 seconds and works even if you're not REM. If you do not remain.
Josh Arnold
It's only that kind of. I don't work at Valvoline. I don't need that.
Bob Kevoian
I'll come in handy when I start with Jiffy. Lou, what the hell?
Christy Lee
Hell, huh?
Bob Kevoian
Wow.
Josh Arnold
Weird.
Christy Lee
You know, leave it to technology.
Josh Arnold
A robot. The belt doesn't go up my ass. Want to knock that off? You keep doing it every morning.
Bob Kevoian

Christy Lee
Oh, hi.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, hi.
Christy Lee
How are you today?
Bob Kevoian
I'm not too bad. There's Pat Godwin.
Jeff Oskay
Hey, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
There's Josh Arnold.
Josh Arnold
How are you?
Bob Kevoian
Ace Cosby. Hello, Jeff Osk.
Ace Cosby
Hey, Rab.
Christy Lee
Hey.
Bob Kevoian
All right. I'm Chick. Christy.
Josh Arnold
What
Bob Kevoian
going on over there? Yeah, let's see.
Christy Lee
What do we.
Gordon
You know.
Bob Kevoian
You know my daughter, she's 33 today.
Ace Cosby
Wow.
Christy Lee
How could that be the year of our Lord?
Bob Kevoian
How could I be? Let's not muddy the waters with your Bible banging over there.
Ace Cosby
She single?
Gordon
Chick.
Ace Cosby
Does she like older bearded men?
Bob Kevoian
Boy, that.
Christy Lee
No, that would be something.
Bob Kevoian
Nobody saw that coming.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Here's Jeff.
Christy Lee
Oscar, my son in law.
Bob Kevoian
Here, try it. Just call me dad.
Ace Cosby
Hey, how's it going there, dad?
Pat Godwin
How's it feel?
Bob Kevoian
I like it. Yeah? Yeah, Yeah, I like it. I approve you.
Josh Arnold
Why don't you two arrange a marriage?
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Josh Arnold
And then just let Ellie know that. That's.
Bob Kevoian
That's right. Here you go. Here you go.
Josh Arnold
Your daughter is.
Christy Lee
Happy birthday, honey.
Ace Cosby
Just swerved into a tree.
Josh Arnold
She's super funny.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
A wonderful thinker. Thinker. And very sweet.
Christy Lee
Beautiful.
Josh Arnold
And it's because of you.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, I don't know about that.
Josh Arnold
I do. She also adores you.
Bob Kevoian
Well, I don't think that's the case.
Josh Arnold
I've seen her.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, look at you.
Ace Cosby
She does, dad.
Bob Kevoian
She does. That's usually fine. No, I'm not gonna say that. She's. She's wonderful. A wonderful sense of time taking her to dinner tonight. Tomorrow night? She couldn't make it tonight. She's too busy for her dad. But to Be tomorrow. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Nice.
Bob Kevoian
Anyway. Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Did you already pick out the place?
Pat Godwin
Are you going to Sizzler?
Bob Kevoian
No, we're. We're going to Steakhouse.
Josh Arnold
Excellent.
Bob Kevoian
You're gonna have a steak Ponderosa?
Christy Lee
Yeah, sure.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, if we can find one open. Thanks. Here's.
Pat Godwin
Here's.
Christy Lee
Christy, did you prefer Ponderosa or Bonanza?
Josh Arnold
I preferred Bonanza.
Bob Kevoian
I preferred York Steakhouse.
Josh Arnold
Well, sure. That was.
Bob Kevoian
That was the best right there on Wilson Road.
Ace Cosby
I don't think so. I almost.
Christy Lee
We had Ponderosa and Bonanza and Sizzler. That was it.
Ace Cosby
I get that popcorn shrimp at the Ponderosa.
Josh Arnold
We had Western Sizzling, and that was good. And then Ryan's Steakhouse.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Ace Cosby
That was like a step up here.
Josh Arnold
It was in St. Louis as well. But not forever, right? Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I found them all to be pretty tasty as a kid.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Well, it was a treat.
Pat Godwin
It was a real treat.
Christy Lee
It was a treat to go out to dinner. Yeah. We never went out to dinner. Not very often. I give my mom credit for very few things, but I give her credit for fixing dinner every night after working all day. That was.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, she was a working woman.
Christy Lee
She was. What?
Josh Arnold
What did she do?
Christy Lee
She was a working woman. She ran an office. Office manager.
El Conquistador
Oh.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
She liked to boss people around, including her children.
Bob Kevoian
Well, what did she keep on top of the refrigerator to keep you in line?
Christy Lee
Fly swatter.
Bob Kevoian
Fly.
Christy Lee
Oh, no. We had the. What's that?
Bob Kevoian
Flyback paddle.
Christy Lee
Yeah, the paddle game when we were little. She took the string off. Oh, yeah.
Josh Arnold
Did she take the staple?
Ace Cosby
Get the staple.
Christy Lee
She did take the staple out. She wasn't really mean.
Pat Godwin
Wacky on the butt.
Christy Lee
Yeah. She'd give it a little swat.
El Conquistador
Ouch.
Christy Lee
And that didn't impact my dad. Never, never touched us. It was always Mom.
Pat Godwin
There were different times.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
We grew up in different.
Josh Arnold
Well, I remember the words. And I know you just said this wasn't the case in your house, but the words. Words wait until your father gets off.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah.
Pat Godwin
They meant something back.
Josh Arnold
Jeez.
Christy Lee
I think. I think the fact that my mom handled all the punishment kind of tells you where my dad stood in the relationship and why. They divorced when I was 12. Oh, yeah. She emasculated him. But that's another story for another day.
Bob Kevoian
Now, go out.
Christy Lee
Rest in peace, Mom.
Bob Kevoian
Go out and make it a great day.
Christy Lee
A court in Argentina has recognized two goldfish. Have you talked about this?
Bob Kevoian
No.
Christy Lee
As sentient beings deserving rights. Rights.
Josh Arnold
This is outrageous.
Bob Kevoian
Two. Two goldfish?
Christy Lee
Yeah. The fish were being kept in a cramped tank in the Window of a sushi restaurant in Buenos Aires. An animal rights organization known as Empty Cages filed a legal complaint arguing that the poor conditions violated a law which penalizes animal abuse in Argentina.
Bob Kevoian
All right. Of course, I. We're all against animal abuse.
Josh Arnold
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Come on, goldfish.
Christy Lee
A court ultimately ruled the fish chick should be moved to a more suitable environment.
Ace Cosby
Gonna move it to the sushi station. Slice it up there. Are those more humane conditions.
Christy Lee
Carlos Jose Aga, one of the specialists who helped with the rescue, adopted the fish, moved them from the 40 liter display case into a 2500 liter at his home.
Bob Kevoian
You're not my real dad.
Christy Lee
And has named the fish. Ah, boy, I'm gonna say Maggie and Fetty. Just to be done here. He said that having two fish in a glass display case is more or less the same as putting two polar bears in a cage inside a sauna.
Josh Arnold
Is that right?
Bob Kevoian
I don't think so.
Christy Lee
He added, it's not illegal per se, to keep a fish in a fish tank. However, it's illegal to keep them in conditions that cause mistreatment or cruelty.
Josh Arnold
We all agree with that. The fish should be in a nice, proper.
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Josh Arnold
Aquarium.
Christy Lee
They're still keeping him in a fish tank, though. He went from just a bigger. You got into a bigger fish tank.
Josh Arnold
But that doesn't mean the goldfish have raised rights.
Christy Lee
No, I think apparently they do in Argentina.
Bob Kevoian
You should have a bubbler. Right. Isn't that a bubbler to keep the water moving or something?
Christy Lee
Yeah. I have a warbler in my bird bath outside.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, is that right?
Christy Lee
Yes. Keep the water moving. Keep the mosquitoes from laying eggs.
Josh Arnold
Will that also keep the water from freezing in the winter?
Christy Lee
I have that.
Josh Arnold
That's separate.
Christy Lee
That's a separate thing.
Josh Arnold
Separate apparatus.
Christy Lee
I have a heater.
Josh Arnold
I have a $4,500 bird.
Bob Kevoian
It's $10,000 a bird bath. 10,000? 10 grand. 10 racks.
Christy Lee
Just a piece of granite with refill on.
Ace Cosby
Does it refill itself?
Christy Lee
No. I have to clean it every day.
Bob Kevoian
Every day?
Christy Lee
Yeah. Do you know how dirty birds are every day? I clean it every day.
Bob Kevoian
Are you kidding?
Christy Lee
Rinse it out and wipe it down real good.
Josh Arnold
Get this thing out of here.
Ace Cosby
They eat dead carcasses off the road. They don't care about some dirty water.
Christy Lee
I want my birds to be dirty
Bob Kevoian
water in the river.
Christy Lee
Charles, did you talk about snoring when I was gone?
Bob Kevoian
Yes, we did.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Jess, of course, is a mean snorer.
Christy Lee
Oh, that's right.
Josh Arnold
Christy, do you snore?
Christy Lee
Yeah, apparently I do.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, I'd prefer it if you don't
Pat Godwin
snore from now on.
Bob Kevoian
Is that. Is that what he said?
Christy Lee
No, he never.
Bob Kevoian
What did he say, Chris?
Christy Lee
He said, no, he will come in the next day and go, oh, you were really snoring away last night, so you must have slept well. Yeah, I guess.
Bob Kevoian
Oh boy.
Josh Arnold
That's.
Pat Godwin
That's.
Josh Arnold
You must have slept well.
Gordon
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Hope you slept well.
Bob Kevoian
Boy, that is.
Christy Lee
Ah, boy.
Bob Kevoian
Passive aggressive.
Josh Arnold
One of us was sleeping.
Bob Kevoian
Very little sleeping going on on my side of the bed. I know.
Pat Godwin
You look rested.
Christy Lee
He snores too. Don't.
Josh Arnold
I went ahead and just got up and cleaned up your messes.
Christy Lee
Are you guys snorers?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
You cleaned your bird feeder yesterday.
Ace Cosby
I think so. But my lady's a louder snorer than I am.
Christy Lee
He did clean the bird bath yesterday. Yeah, he did. Yeah, he helps a lot.
Bob Kevoian
I'd prefer it if we got rid of the bird bath.
Christy Lee
He bought me the bird bath for my birthday.
Bob Kevoian
That was a stupid idea.
Pat Godwin
Changed his mind.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I've changed my mind about a lot of stuff.
Josh Arnold
Buying appliances for the bird bath.
Bob Kevoian
We got a heater. We got a bubbler. We got a.
Pat Godwin
We got a cleaner.
Christy Lee
It's a warbler. It's not a bubbler. It's a difference.
Ace Cosby
Could you stop using 30 bucks heavy on water?
Christy Lee
I do not.
Josh Arnold
I'm eating a bologna sandwich for dinner because we got a new H vac system.
Bob Kevoian
It needs Fiji. Fiji? Water. No other water. Is that what I'm hearing?
Christy Lee
16 year old reenacted.
Josh Arnold
Do I have to start dressing up as a bird to get any kind of attention around here?
Christy Lee
You know those violated woodpeckers? They had a big beak.
Bob Kevoian
Be nice. Be nice. You paid attention to my pecker, I'll tell you that. Good lord. What the hell?
Josh Arnold
Oh, steak for dinner. These are for the birds.
Bob Kevoian
Are you kidding me?
Christy Lee
A 16 year old reenactor from England is walking more than 100 miles in Viking equipment to raise money for charity.
Bob Kevoian
What?
Josh Arnold
Just give.
Bob Kevoian
I can't. I can't get up. I can't get hired any. I'm gonna hire myself.
Pat Godwin
Viking equipment.
Christy Lee
Ryan Olson from Ellesmer Port is taking on the challenge in memory of his late history teacher and fellow Viking reenactor, Hannah Freeman. He plans to walk from Chester to York dressed in period clothing and carrying Viking equipment.
Bob Kevoian
Period clothing.
Christy Lee
He set off.
Josh Arnold
Why would you wear that?
Christy Lee
I need to get an update on him. He set off July 18 and aims to complete more than 100 miles on foot in 12 days. Days?
El Conquistador
Wow.
Bob Kevoian
He's doing 100 miles on foot?
Gordon
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Equipment.
Josh Arnold
Well, that's actually not ten miles.
Bob Kevoian
Eight miles a day.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
But I guess I'm assuming Viking equipment is heavy, I would think.
Christy Lee
Especially if you carry the boat.
Pat Godwin
So they're reenacting the reenactors.
Bob Kevoian
So you got to take, like, four or five steps, drag the boat. Four or five steps, drag the boat.
Pat Godwin
So you want to pillage today and do the other thing.
Christy Lee
I'm not a Viking with a.
Bob Kevoian
Without a boat, I don't have any energy to pillage.
Jeff Oskay
You know what?
Pat Godwin
Last time we pillaged, I didn't care for it.
Christy Lee
I don't know much about Vikings. They're calling it.
Bob Kevoian
They're from Minnesota.
Christy Lee
They're not.
Bob Kevoian
All right.
Christy Lee
They're calling it the Zoomer to Boomer payphone hotline. Have you heard about this?
Bob Kevoian
No.
Christy Lee
It's designed to bridge the divide, and
Josh Arnold
I don't think he wants to.
Christy Lee
Gen Z's and baby boomers.
Bob Kevoian
What are they for?
Christy Lee
So the Gen Zers and baby boomers can connect, if you will.
Bob Kevoian
Oh. All right.
Christy Lee
According to the New York Times, the payphone located on a busy street in Boston.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, they don't like us, we don't like them. Okay.
Christy Lee
Where college students often frequent automatically places a free call to a similar pay phone located in a senior living complex in Reno, Nevada.
Josh Arnold
I couldn't hate this more.
Bob Kevoian
And then. And then you heard Reno.
Christy Lee
Data shared by Matter Neuroscience shows the average call length is almost three minutes. By the way, they're the ones who installed the phones. Calla Kessler, a social strategist from Matter Neuroscience.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Christy Lee
Told the time. Small, positive interactions can have a ripple effect and perhaps make the world a better place.
Josh Arnold
If that's not what. There's no way that's what's happening here in Boston.
Christy Lee
What do you think? The kids are calling Reno and just.
Bob Kevoian
No, in Boston, there's. They call up and they. Hello? And Yankees suck.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, exactly.
Bob Kevoian
That's exactly what they're doing.
Josh Arnold
Or the dead yet and then hang up. Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Or the old guy. It's just like, is this my grandson? And they're like, no. And it's just my grandson.
Bob Kevoian
No, I thought this was my grandson.
Christy Lee
We're all nice.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, and Yankees suck.
Gordon
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
What?
Josh Arnold
What? What's the best.
Pat Godwin
You never run out of news?
Christy Lee
No, I don't like this stuff.
Josh Arnold
Well, give us something you really don't like.
Christy Lee
All right.
Gordon
Here you go.
Bob Kevoian
Watch us make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
Gordon
Here we go.
Christy Lee
The Cambridge dictionary has added a new phrase to Its database.
Ace Cosby
All right.
Bob Kevoian
You love these.
Christy Lee
I know how. This is only one. It's called Graduation Creep.
Bob Kevoian
That's where you not invited to a graduation party. You just come right in, you go
Ace Cosby
up and ask them what they're wearing under their gown.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, that's the Graduation Creep.
Pat Godwin
You do something goofy on stage, what'd you major in?
Christy Lee
Do you want to guess?
Josh Arnold
Boy, this is some sort of negative feeling you get post graduation.
Christy Lee
No, that's very well thought out. This is stupid. Oh, the trend for graduation ceremonies to be held for pupils and students at lower levels of education, not just for college and universities.
Josh Arnold
My daughter just graduated the fourth grade.
Bob Kevoian
That kind of thing.
Christy Lee
Yes, her kindergarten graduation. We had fifth grade graduation.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Eighth grade graduation grade graduation.
Bob Kevoian
Kindergarten. Yeah, we had silly.
Christy Lee
The Graduation Creep. All right, all right.
Josh Arnold
I like Jeff's better.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, what are you wearing underneath that guy?
Ace Cosby
What do you got under the.
Josh Arnold
There's a graduation.
Christy Lee
Usually it's a short white dress.
Pat Godwin
He has no kids involved at all.
Josh Arnold
He just goes, yeah, I just show up.
Pat Godwin
Hey, you look pretty good.
Josh Arnold
You know a UK mom who ain't holding my appliance. Applause for her.
Bob Kevoian
I tell you what she's wearing underneath it.
Christy Lee
A UK mother who returned to college in her 60s has graduated alongside her daughter after years of late night study sessions together. 63 year old Elaine Shaw and her 24 year old daughter Anissa Padgett recently collected their degrees together from the University of Bradford. Ms. Padgett achieved first class honors in archaeology while her mom secured upper division honors in heritage and archaeology. Ms. Shaw now works full time as a cemetery registrar at the Undercliff Cemetery in the United Kingdom.
Bob Kevoian
What I do is I. I keep an eye out for anybody digging. I see them digging. Your ghouls, you go out and I and her daughter. Hey you. You're supposed to be here. And I get their name, man. That's pretty much it.
Christy Lee
You register them. Her daughter hopes to build a career working with museum collections. So congratulations.
Bob Kevoian
What I do is I Mom and dad.
Christy Lee
Mom and daughter.
Bob Kevoian
I call patrons of the museum. Hey, your payment's late.
Josh Arnold
Come on now.
Bob Kevoian
Come on. Just give us your checking account.
Pat Godwin
You pledge 100 bucks automatic pay.
Josh Arnold
There's no fine or penalty, but please try to be on time.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Josh Arnold
We got skulls to power.
Bob Kevoian
That's all I ask.
Christy Lee
I'll dig around and find something when we come back back.
Bob Kevoian

Christy Lee
Hey, that's a.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, hey, there's Pat Godwin.
Pat Godwin
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
There's Josh Arnold.
Josh Arnold
How you doing?
Christy Lee
Oh, oh, there you go.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, there those two go at it. Oh, there's Ace Cosby. Jeff Osk.
Ace Cosby
How's it going, dad?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, that's right.
Christy Lee
Have you heard from hell this morning?
Josh Arnold
Hopefully she's sleeping in on her birthday.
Christy Lee
I hope so.
Bob Kevoian
And congratulations to Todd Kumby. He won $11,000. How about that, huh? What do you.
Christy Lee
How about that?
Bob Kevoian
How about that? I don't know.
Josh Arnold
Probably.
Bob Kevoian
Chris. How about regional thing? How about the new check local listings.
Christy Lee
Anybody following punch the orphan monkey on their Instagram?
Ace Cosby
Oh, yeah. What's up to.
Christy Lee
What do you mean? Of course not.
Josh Arnold
I'm against orphan mon. Monkeys.
Bob Kevoian
You ever see them? Very sad. No one wants to.
Christy Lee
He's at a zoo, you guys. He's not totally orphaned, but he stole people's hearts. He was clinging to an orangutan stuffed animal because he was rejected by his mother at birth. So they, they raised him at the zoo and he had a lot of trouble getting people to like him in the, in the monkey community. Now, go ahead.
Josh Arnold
Any other sad facts?
Christy Lee
No, he, he's been accepted into the group, and he celebrated his first birthday over the weekend.
Josh Arnold
Oh, well, that's nice.
Christy Lee
2500 birthday cards from around the world for little Punch. And of course, he was very heavily visited by folks at the Turkey Sedated. What?
Bob Kevoian
At least sedated Punch.
Christy Lee
Look him up. He's very cute.
Ace Cosby
It was a great birthday party. They were blowing bubbles. They were.
Josh Arnold
Oh, Bubbles was never happy.
Christy Lee
Odyssey continues to captivate audiences in its second weekend, raking in $87 million. That's just in North America alone. Globally, the film has earned an estimated $640 million.
Josh Arnold
Oh, that'll hit a billion, easy.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
I bet it gets close to two.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
Meanwhile, Disney's Moana and Toy Story 5 secured second and third place place. Toy Story 5 surpassed 1 billion globally over the weekend.
Bob Kevoian
All right.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
I'm confused. Wasn't there already a Moana?
Christy Lee
Yeah, this is a live action.
Pat Godwin
Oh, they called Moana, though. Isn't that confusing? They're both called Moana.
Josh Arnold
It's both. It's the exact same story.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
It's not confusing to those who are watching it. It'd be confusing to you.
Pat Godwin
I'm confused. Right?
Ace Cosby
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Audiences aren't loving it.
Christy Lee
No, they're not.
Josh Arnold
They're not clamoring.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Because moana came out 10 years ago ago. That's it.
Christy Lee
It's not going over well. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Has it been 10 years already?
Josh Arnold
Yeah, but I mean, that's too soon to all of a sudden do a live action remake, isn't it?
Pat Godwin
Yes.
Josh Arnold
The answer is yes.
Bob Kevoian
I'm against live action remakes.
Josh Arnold
I kind of am, too.
Bob Kevoian
You don't see them doing the Fast and Furious in live action remakes. Do you know there are cartoons Once they're cartoons, always.
Christy Lee
Comic Con was held over the weekend in San Diego. Rick Moranis made a video visit where
Bob Kevoian
all the big deals are made in Hollywood.
Christy Lee
Right. And announce Space Balls. The new one is coming April 2027.
Josh Arnold
All right, look forward to it.
Christy Lee
We're waiting for the next Spaceballs movie.
Bob Kevoian
What does he play? Big helmet or dark helmet?
Josh Arnold
I bet she gives great helmet. He says at one point.
Bob Kevoian
Boy, oh, boy. That's probably what. Yeah.
Christy Lee
And I don't have it in front of me, but Ryan Gosling was announced as a new Marvel character. Ghost Rider.
Josh Arnold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Yeah. That's coming out in 2028.
Bob Kevoian
And didn't Nicholas Cage do Ghost Rider?
Josh Arnold
He did. He did two of them.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
They're not good, but I was entertained the whole time.
Bob Kevoian
And another thing. How can Robert Downey Jr. Come back as Dr. Doom. I don't understand that. Iron. Iron Man.
Christy Lee
Iron Man.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
I'm not saying it'll be bad. I just don't get why.
Bob Kevoian
Why would you do that?
Ace Cosby
So.
Bob Kevoian
Huh.
Josh Arnold
We'll find out, I guess.
Bob Kevoian
And that one guy was a Human Torch and Captain America. I know.
Josh Arnold
It's a mess. It's a mess.
Bob Kevoian
It's a mess.
Christy Lee
So they're just spewing out movies to make money? Is that what you're saying?
Bob Kevoian
I think so. They're making mistakes all over the place.
Josh Arnold
The profit deal.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Tent poles.
Christy Lee
Spider man superhero is in the news today.
Josh Arnold
As opposed to Spider man, the garbage.
Gordon
Yep.
Christy Lee
That guy, Spider man has jumped to the aid of a man using a wheelchair to cross several lanes of traffic. That's right. In Arkansas. Spider man, or a person dressed as Spider Man.
Bob Kevoian
He jumps out of a car unexpectedly
Christy Lee
helped a man crossing a busy street.
Bob Kevoian
He does.
Christy Lee
Christopher Hellenthal was returning from his job at a trampoline park when he spotted the person struggling to cross six lanes of traffic.
Bob Kevoian
Why was the guy in a wheelchair at a trampoline park?
Christy Lee
It's the other guy. The guy who's dressed as Superman was in the. Worked at the trampoline park, not the guy in the wheelchair.
Pat Godwin
What?
Bob Kevoian
Okay, wait.
Ace Cosby
Why is Superman there now?
Christy Lee
Superman.
Bob Kevoian
Superman's DC Spider Man's Marvel. Come on now.
Christy Lee
Mr. Helen Thal, who works at the trampoline park was dressed as Spider man and was still wearing his costume from a superhero themed event. Jumped out of his car, whisked the person to safety just seconds before the light changed.
Bob Kevoian
I prefer you don't read that story anymore.
Christy Lee
All right, you fill the next two minutes because I'm done.
Josh Arnold
A guy in a wheelchair thought he could cross eight lanes of traffic.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
Or six.
Christy Lee
Six lanes.
Bob Kevoian
Whatever it was, boy, Whatever it was,
Josh Arnold
that's the true hero. If he did it, that's a real life game of Frogger.
Bob Kevoian
I don't think he backs up and goes forward and backs up.
Josh Arnold
Or you don't think so?
Bob Kevoian
Maybe he does.
Josh Arnold
Or he's in one lane. He kind of goes to the left and then up.
Bob Kevoian
I never really cared for Frog.
Josh Arnold
Frogger loved it. In fact, Crossy Road, which is a blatant rip off of Frogger, but still. Still fun.
Bob Kevoian
What's it called?
Pat Godwin
It's called Crossy Road.
Christy Lee
Crossy Road.
Josh Arnold
You guys are not familiar with Crossy Road?
Bob Kevoian
Is it C R O S S Y.
Josh Arnold
That's right.
Pat Godwin
You played Crossy Road as a kid.
Josh Arnold
Not as a kid. As an adult.
Bob Kevoian
That's. Oh, that's a less lesser game than Frogger.
Josh Arnold
Crossy road has other avatars. So you can be different guys.
Bob Kevoian
You don't have to be. You don't have to be a frog.
Josh Arnold
Nope, you're a man. You can be a firefighter, you can be a professor, you can be a doctor.
Bob Kevoian
Trying to get across.
Pat Godwin
I'm going to cross your road.
Bob Kevoian
Planes are tr.
Josh Arnold
Oh, it's awesome.
Ace Cosby
Did that come on an intellivision or.
Josh Arnold
No, it's way older or it's what? Newer than that.
Ace Cosby
Oh, okay.
Josh Arnold
Crossy road's only. It's.
Ace Cosby
It's what gaming system?
Josh Arnold
Your phone? Oh, your iPad.
Bob Kevoian
So if I go on there right now, I can find Crossy Road?
Josh Arnold
Yes. Crossy road is new for us, old for the young. Those what I'm like.
Pat Godwin
And you're not messing with us?
Josh Arnold
Not at all.
Bob Kevoian
It sounds like something you'd make.
Josh Arnold
Yeah, you wordle dorks are missing out on Crossy Road.
Pat Godwin
You're too good of an actor. I don't trust you. All right, I say there's no crossing.
Bob Kevoian
You're saying Crossy road is better than connections? Is that what you're telling me?
Josh Arnold
Way better. Now that's coming from somebody who's never played connections.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, oh.
Ace Cosby
Now what's your avatar? What do you go with?
Pat Godwin
Are you chicken? Are you a chicken?
Josh Arnold
I'm not kidding. You can be a man dressed as a chicken.
Ace Cosby
Yes.
Josh Arnold
How did it be the first? That might be the default. I was just joking sometimes.
Bob Kevoian
Let me tell you something, Frankenstein. If you've been lying to me this whole time. Yes, I'm totally lying in.
Josh Arnold
Because as you get as you do better in the. And you collect points and coins while. While crossing the roads.
Bob Kevoian
Right? Playing Crossy Roads.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Josh Arnold
You get new avatars if you make
Pat Godwin
a fool out of me. When I check this I'm going to be very.
Christy Lee
What happens if your chicken gets doesn't cross the road back?
Pat Godwin
The eternal question.
Josh Arnold
That's the age old.
El Conquistador
Yeah.
Ace Cosby
Do feathers fly everywhere? When it gets didn't get hit by
Josh Arnold
a train, you have to jump on lily pads and logs.
Pat Godwin
Well, that's Crossy tracks.
Josh Arnold
As a man, there are more than roads in Crossy Roads.
Bob Kevoian
As a man dressed as a chicken, can you lay an egg?
Pat Godwin
Take me home. Crossy Road.
Josh Arnold
So I really want you guys to try crossing.
Pat Godwin
There's no Crossy Roads.
Ace Cosby
Crossy Roads where we're going to a
Pat Godwin
place that doesn't exist.
Bob Kevoian
Crossy Roads.
Pat Godwin
It's just mine.
Josh Arnold
Wallow in your own ignorance.
Bob Kevoian
Weston, Virginia all you guys are doubting. We'll be back tomorrow. Shut up. Christy and I was talking. Oh, shut up, Josh. Is that it?
El Conquistador
That's it.
Pat Godwin
That's good.
Christy Lee
That's it.
Bob Kevoian
I apologize.
Josh Arnold
Going down to the crossy road.
Bob Kevoian
We're in O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is. This is the Bob and Tom Show.

The tone remains conversational, playful, and self-deprecating, with fast back-and-forths, good-natured teasing, and willingness to get both light and a little vulnerable. The show is packed with comic improvisation, “dad-joke” energy, absurd scenarios (both real and fictional), and a blend of cultural references old and new. The Bob & Tom cast excels at taking any thread—a listener email, trivial news item, or everyday annoyance—and spinning it into a running gag or fond reminiscence.
Listeners tuning in to this episode get a seamless blend of hilarious sketches (El Conquistador), relatable personal stories (mall trips, family meals, laundry wars), sharp sports and pop-culture commentary, and uniquely silly news (“most sharks tattooed on a body,” “robot vines as dressers”). Whether you’re nostalgic for childhood restaurants, curious about Billy Ocean’s real name, grossed out by tarantulas, or wondering about the current state of mall culture, the BOB & TOM crew delivers their unique comedic spin.
Memorable takeaways: The importance of addressing people by their proper (and often absurd) titles, the never-ending debates over housework, the hazards of both marriage and mall shopping, and the joy of sitting around with friends and laughing at the weirdness of everyday life.
Useful for: Anyone who wants to catch up on the BOB & TOM Show’s recent banter, or relive the best bits of this episode—without needing to listen to all the ads, musical bumpers, or insider tangents.
