Hi, Phil. Thanks for coming to my party.
Bob Kevoian
Who's this? Hey, Cindy, check this out.
Christy Lee
This is my very own Announcer Guy. Hey, Announcer Guy.
Bob Kevoian
Say something.
Larry Morgan
Hello, Cindy. It's time to meet your very special party guest. Say hello to Phil Mundor. This is Larry Morgan speaking.
Tom Griswold
Well, thank you. Of course I know Phil. And nice to meet you, Mr. Announcer Guy. By the way, Phil, you look great.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, thanks. I got this new suit I. Tonight,
Larry Morgan
Phil is dressed for success in a fashionable hand tailored Armani suit. With softly constructed shoulders and a slimming silhouette. Phil is comfortably attired for whatever environment he should find himself in. Retail value $2,500. This is Larry Morgan speaking.
Pat Godwin
Ooh, I wish I hadn't given the price on.
Bob Kevoian
Wow, that's great, Phil.
Tom Griswold
Let me get you a drink.
Jess Hooker
What are you having?
Bob Kevoian
You know, I think I'll have a beer.
Larry Morgan
This evening Phil will be enjoying Dewar's on the rocks.
Pat Godwin
What?
Larry Morgan
Dewar's, the finest blended scotch whiskey money can buy. And as always, we remind you to please drink responsibly. This is Larry Morgan speaking.
Bob Kevoian
I guess a scotch would be okay.
Jeff Oskay
Thanks.
Larry Morgan
Announcer Guy.
Bob Kevoian
He's your own personal announcer. And he's only available from Bob and Tom Enterprises, a division of Frigate All Industries.
Christy Lee
You get more respect from the company
Bob Kevoian
you keep when you're introduced by a guy whose voice is really deep. Announcer Guy. Announcer guy. He makes announcements just for you. He's the Announcer guy. And like it or not, he'll follow you anywhere.
Christy Lee
All right, my son, let's hear your confession.
Bob Kevoian
Bless me, Father, for I have.
Larry Morgan
And it's been three months since his last confession. Good morning, Father o'. Malley. Say hello to Phil Mundor. Recently, Phil has embezzled from the office football pool, run over the neighbor's cat, and has had some extraordinarily erotic dreams starring his 18 year old neighbor, Kaitlin Kravitz. Caitlin's appearance is brought to you by Nikon. Nikon, maker of the world's finest binoculars. This is Larry Morgan speaking.
Tom Griswold
Jesus H. Christ.
Bob Kevoian
Phil Mondor.
Christy Lee
That's one hell of a confession.
Bob Kevoian
Or my name's not Father Mar o'.
Jess Hooker
Malley.
Bob Kevoian
Now here to present your penance is my announcer.
Larry Morgan
God thanks Mark. For Phil's penance, Father O' Malley orders 10 Hail Marys and 20 Our Fathers. Now go and sin no more. And thanks for visiting Father OMalley's confessional. And please accept these fabulous parting gifts. A case of rice, a Roni, the San Francisco treat, and the hot new CD recording. Larry Morgan reads the New Testament. This is Tony Lamont speaking.
Christy Lee
Your dreams will be impressive and you'll
Bob Kevoian
be really proud when you're introduced by a guy whose voice is way too loud. Announcer guy. Announcer guy. He makes announcement just for you.
Larry Morgan
The announcer guy only. From Bob and Tom Enterprises, this is Larry Morgan speaking.
Bob Kevoian
See announcers who always have a job. Some somehow we might have to go door to door and pedal our services, but it's the Bob and Tom Show. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. There's Christy Lee.
Jess Hooker
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
She's at the news desk. There's Pat Godwin.
Jeff Oskay
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
Guitar in hand, ready to go.
Pat Godwin
Read.
Bob Kevoian
Ready to go. Pat says good day for you.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, I got cleared by the doctor.
Tom Griswold
All right.
Larry Morgan
Boom.
Bob Kevoian
There's Josh Arnold.
Christy Lee
That's great news.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
There's Ace Cosby.
Larry Morgan
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
Hello, Jeff. Oscar.
Jeff Oskay
What's up, buddy?
Bob Kevoian
What's up? I'm Chick. And yeah, big day for Pat Godwin. He cleared from your doc, right?
Pat Godwin
Yeah. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
You have a note from your doctor explaining your. I'm kidding.
Christy Lee
We do have to see that.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah, we do. It. It's. Never mind. You know what we had last night in the Major League Baseball. One of my favorite things. What an animal got loose on the field. And in this case, it's a little black squirrel.
Christy Lee
A lot of times it's good luck for the home team.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. And turns into a thing. I forget the last time an animal, but they made it like a mascot. And last night was no exception. It was a little black squirrel. At Comerica park in Detroit. Tigers and the Orioles were playing and it took like 13 members of both teams to go out with. With towels and try to cover the squirrel up. But they were also trying not to get bitten by the squirrel as they're trying to herd the thing and get it off the field.
Christy Lee
I've never seen a black squirrel in person, have you?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. No, not in person. Certainly not in person.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Is that a Michigan thing?
Christy Lee
According to Griswold?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I think it. I think it might be. Absolutely a Michigan thing. So we'll talk about that later.
Tom Griswold
Awesome.
Bob Kevoian
What do you got coming up in New.
Tom Griswold
I have no idea. All right, sir, I am Running show behind.
Ally Breen
Fair enough.
Tom Griswold
Happens, you know? It does. We've all been there, right?
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
And then every. You know how little things just get you off, you know? Not like that.
Bob Kevoian
What do you mean?
Pat Godwin
Sure, I mean, I, I off your
Tom Griswold
schedule, I'd rather not.
Christy Lee
Spaghetti straps.
Pat Godwin
Sometimes big things get me off.
Tom Griswold
Spaghetti straps. You like?
Christy Lee
Well, a loose one, maybe.
Bob Kevoian
Peekaboo shoes.
Tom Griswold
Really?
Bob Kevoian
See what little each little toes doing, you know, stuff like that. It's a little things sometimes little things. Little things are only thing hit me off now anyway. You're out of routine, Is that what you're talking about?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I'm out of sorts today. But we have. We have a monkey sighting in the news. Not a squirrel, but monkeys.
Bob Kevoian
See more animals taking over. Do you have a superstition that you attend to in the morning, Christy? Do you like. You like to get up on the one side of the bed or.
Tom Griswold
Well, I always sleep on the one side of the bed, so, yeah, if I go on the other side of the bed, I'd have to roll over. My husband. That would be weird.
Bob Kevoian
Did he say he preferred you not to sleep on that side of the bed? Is that not what happened?
Tom Griswold
No, he didn't get a choice.
Bob Kevoian
Oh.
Larry Morgan
Oh, really?
Bob Kevoian
You told him what side?
Christy Lee
Wow.
Tom Griswold
I always sleep on that side of the bed. If you're facing the bed, it would be the left side.
Bob Kevoian
The left side. Okay.
Jeff Oskay
Are you closest to the door?
Tom Griswold
I am closest to the door, but that way I can roll out and right into the bathroom.
Bob Kevoian
It's super close.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, but you're also first to get murdered.
Tom Griswold
That's okay.
Jeff Oskay
All right.
Bob Kevoian
That's okay. No, no, I don't have any.
Tom Griswold
I mean, I think if you're in that situation at that point, does it really matter where you're laying?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, the person closest to the door gets murdered first.
Tom Griswold
And then what are you gonna do if you're the.
Jeff Oskay
Well, while you're getting murdered, I'm running out the door calling 91 1.
Larry Morgan
Is that right?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Really?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. Well, I'm closest to the door because I'm a real man, so I'm taking the stabbing. I'm taking the stabbing for my lady so she could run.
Tom Griswold
That you are.
Bob Kevoian
You know what? You're a gentleman.
Jeff Oskay
Thank you.
Bob Kevoian
You're a vanishing breed. That's right.
Tom Griswold
My husband is a gentleman. I'm the one who chose to sleep on that side.
Bob Kevoian
Well, as you might guess, athletes have the oddest superstitions. Oh, I bet we'll talk about something.
Tom Griswold
You have superstitions?
Bob Kevoian
No, other than when I start the shower. I usually say, how are you going to keep them down on the farm?
Tom Griswold
Oh, that's.
Bob Kevoian
I don't know why, how that started, but I. Out loud. Yeah, I. Well, I mumble it.
Christy Lee
Yeah,
Bob Kevoian
it's become a thing. But there was, there was a basketball player who wears his college. His college shorts underneath his professional uniform. That's cool to. Yeah, I'll tell you who. Coming up later, huh? Isn't that interesting? Yeah, and I think Reggie used to wear two pennies underneath his wristband or something because somebody told him one time, you ain't worth 2 cents or something.
Tom Griswold
Oh, that's interesting.
Bob Kevoian
And yeah, he does that. Patrick Wa. He skates backwards into his goalposts and then he starts talking to him. But there's no, no quote here on what he says to the goal post.
Christy Lee
Oh, I wonder if they're different things each day. But. And it's pronounced Roy, by the way.
Bob Kevoian
It's wah. I know enough to say Wa talked to his hockey goal post and skated backwards to his net before every period.
Christy Lee
Wow.
Bob Kevoian
Sorry, Chrisley.
Tom Griswold
That's okay. I gave him up a long time ago.
Christy Lee
You know what? These aren't for me.
Tom Griswold
What period?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
And Tiger woods wears red on Sundays. Well, he used to. His mother said it was his power color. Oh, I think his mom was probably a tiger mother. Don't you think?
Christy Lee
He wears my definition.
Bob Kevoian
I think she was.
Pat Godwin
He wears handcuffs on Monday.
Bob Kevoian
You too, Pat. Really? You're gonna, you're gonna chide him about how's he doing?
Tom Griswold
Is he okay? Do. We haven't heard about him in a while.
Pat Godwin
Rehabs.
Bob Kevoian
The last I heard it was okay. They were going to look at his medical records in court. They okayed that? I think.
Tom Griswold
I think it's a nice color on you, Jake. Nice beige.
Bob Kevoian
Oh yeah, a nice. A nice non color.
Christy Lee
It's almost a nude.
Bob Kevoian
Is it a nude?
Pat Godwin
Almost.
Bob Kevoian
All right.
Tom Griswold
It's a good looking shirt. Is it linen?
Bob Kevoian
It is a linen.
Christy Lee
It's a nice linen, you naughty nude boy.
Bob Kevoian
I'm a linen lad. Linen lad.
Tom Griswold
I bought linen pajamas. I don't recommend them.
Bob Kevoian
What about linen sheets? I like a linen sheet.
Tom Griswold
We have linen sheets for sure. We sleep on those year round. But the pajamas, very, very stiff. Not fun.
Pat Godwin
Really?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I've washed and washed and washed them.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, good look though, you still wash your clothes. You don't have a laundress.
Tom Griswold
Of course I wash my clothes yesterday.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Oh, laundress.
Larry Morgan
No.
Tom Griswold
Oh, two loads of laundry yesterday actually.
Bob Kevoian
Well, I have a Laundress. You got to tell her to wash, you know, put certain things out. Writer notes.
Tom Griswold
Whoa.
Bob Kevoian
It's not true at all.
Tom Griswold
Do you wash all of your clothes in one load, or do you do separate them out?
Bob Kevoian
I wash everything in cold and let them fight it out.
Tom Griswold
That's exactly what my husband does.
Bob Kevoian
Damn right. Right.
Jeff Oskay
I've been doing it for 35 years. Never ruined anything once.
Tom Griswold
Are you serious?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Damn right. How do you wash clothes, Josh? You have a washer and dryer right there in the unit, right?
Christy Lee
I do. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
You separate lights and darks, don't you? Yeah. So do I do shorts?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I do my whites.
Bob Kevoian
Huh.
Christy Lee
I do my shirts, which are always dark. You guys know my uniform?
Bob Kevoian
Sure.
Christy Lee
And then my under things.
Tom Griswold
With your towels?
Christy Lee
My towels go with my whites because they're white.
Tom Griswold
Oh, okay.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Do you still have any other things for sale? I know you sold one pair. Yeah, I've still got plenty one time. And evidently the lady who bought them, the man she was with, was not too happy about it, is that he
Christy Lee
was quiet during the whole transaction.
Jeff Oskay
So she got those in a shadow.
Ally Breen
Boxer.
Christy Lee
She said she was going to. Yeah, I hope so. Yeah. Very nice people.
Tom Griswold
Were they boxers?
Christy Lee
They were. Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Nice color.
Christy Lee
I believe they were maybe sort of a plaid tartan.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, nice.
Tom Griswold
It'd look good in a family room. Sure.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Right up there over the tv.
Christy Lee
They were super nice people.
Pat Godwin
I was there when that happened. That was wild.
Christy Lee
Yeah, they were great.
Bob Kevoian
My favorite underwear story is I used to have. I don't know where they are now. I'm sure they're in the garage somewhere. I used to have Super Bowl. Is he the mvp? I think he was Mark Rippon's jockstrap when he was quarterback of the Redskins.
Jeff Oskay
That's weird, man.
Bob Kevoian
I knew somebody on the team, and he said, hey, I got you something this weekend.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
And he walked over and Rippon's jock strap was on the floor. And he. He put it in a Ziploc bag and mailed it. Right.
Christy Lee
And it's funny.
Bob Kevoian
And it showed up all, like, sweaty
Tom Griswold
and musty bag, like, foggy.
Bob Kevoian
It was foggy.
Jeff Oskay
How about that?
Bob Kevoian
I told the launderester, wash that right away. When I said. And she. By gosh, she did.
Tom Griswold
Do they have laundresses anymore, do you think?
Bob Kevoian
I don't know if they call them laundresses.
Christy Lee
I know you call yours laundress. Because she'll say, I've seen this happen. She comes up and, oh, laundress, by the way. And she goes, actually, my name is and you go your laundress. She keeps trying to tell you her name, but you won't have it.
Bob Kevoian
I have to maintain the higher ground.
Tom Griswold
Is she an English gal?
Bob Kevoian
I don't know. I've never heard her speak much more than two words.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, okay.
Christy Lee
I don't allow some non distinct. I think, I don't know, actually my name is. And he won't let her get your name is mud.
Bob Kevoian
News coming up. And also, yeah, we do have news. And yeah, the superstitions and trouble in Kansas City Chiefs war. Looks like everybody's going to be okay. But a wild situation. And FIFA president Gianni Infantino is upset that people are saying that he's not on the up and up and might be corrupt.
Tom Griswold
Oh, really?
Bob Kevoian
It's only started by people who have seen him be corrupt. Things like that. So we'll talk about that. Hey, you know, everybody's talking about weight loss. The results are dramatic. Tom Griswold
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
There's Pat Godwin.
Pat Godwin
Hey, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
All ready to play. Hitting the ground running. There's Josh Arnold.
Christy Lee
Hi, there.
Bob Kevoian
There's Ace Cosby, Lou. Jeff Oskay, who has just disappointed me as a fellow guy. And I don't know what to do with the information. He just.
Jeff Oskay
They're a little too big, baby.
Tom Griswold
We were talking about breasts on Sydney Sweeney.
Bob Kevoian
We were talking about. Yeah. Josh said, I. I made them.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I saw a news story that was like, something about her Instagram. And I went, I've never looked at her Instagram.
Jeff Oskay
And I did.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
And I went, well, this was a mistake. It's sort of like. It's when. Like, when the McGriddle came out, everybody kept asking me, did you. Have you had a McGriddle yet? And I was like, no. And they're like, why not? Because I. It's all I'll get. I'm pretty convinced I'll love it so much that it's all.
Bob Kevoian
You'll bake for it at dinner time. Stuff like that. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Now Sydney the Sweeney.
Tom Griswold
Now you just want to look at her Instagram all day.
Christy Lee
This is banana. I mean, this is crazy. I know.
Bob Kevoian
I was the same way with a Florence Pugh's website.
Christy Lee
It's like, oh, yeah, yeah, for sure, dude. Yeah, go ahead.
Bob Kevoian
Be adorable. Go ahead.
Christy Lee
And we're all talking about how Sydney Sweeney isn't just gifted and those. She's. She's quite attractive in different ways.
Pat Godwin
Yes. The character in her face.
Christy Lee
Yeah, she's.
Pat Godwin
And she's so talented.
Christy Lee
Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. She seems cool, and she doesn't seem to have. I mean, I'm sure she's got her issues, but she. She doesn't seem to have much problems with criticism, you know, because she's getting hammered.
Pat Godwin
And she can look ugly in a movie, too. She can really dress it down.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I think she's a cool actress.
Bob Kevoian
Well, we guys were sitting around talking. Well, Chrissy was here. But, you know, we're sitting around, guys are talking, and all of a sudden Oscar says, yep, her boobs are a little too big.
Jeff Oskay
Bring them down a notch.
Christy Lee
I mean, it is.
Bob Kevoian
What the hell?
Tom Griswold
They're her boobs. She can't bring them.
Christy Lee
I don't know that I've heard a gay. Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Wait, what did you just call me?
Christy Lee
I said I didn't call you. I didn't call you anything. But that's a gay thing. Sentence. No, you know what? That's not even fair. It's not a gay sentence. Gay guys don't want her boobs smaller.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Gay guys appreciate.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. Oh, okay.
Ally Breen
Yeah.
Christy Lee
That's a Martian sentence.
Bob Kevoian
That's a big question.
Jeff Oskay
Got two hands.
Bob Kevoian
What are you.
Jeff Oskay
You got to wrangle them both with two hands. You need more hands.
Christy Lee
If that's a. That's a great problem to have. That's like saying, I don't have enough arms. My arms are too small to hold all these bags of money.
Pat Godwin
Oh, my gosh. I have too much lobster.
Tom Griswold
A lot of lobster. Her over the weekend.
Pat Godwin
Oh, did you?
Christy Lee
No, you're. Of course you're entitled to your opinion.
Bob Kevoian
Although I have seen boobs that are too large.
Pat Godwin
Right.
Christy Lee
Ours don't.
Bob Kevoian
No.
Christy Lee
They're not unattractively too large. You know what I'm saying?
Bob Kevoian
They have a nice shape.
Jeff Oskay
I'm just saying bring it down one cup size. They're nicely manageable. There's a little bit too much droop.
Christy Lee
See, I don't want management.
Tom Griswold
Whoa, wait a minute.
Bob Kevoian
I want them unwieldy.
Tom Griswold
Droop.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I don't think she has to.
Bob Kevoian
Too much sag for you.
Jeff Oskay
A little bit.
Bob Kevoian
I put a lot of stock in the. The nipples.
Pat Godwin
Oh, boy.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, that goes a long way for me.
Jim Rome
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
A plus on that.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Don't do anything with those.
Tom Griswold
Does she have large areolas? I don't know. I've never seen them make perfect.
Bob Kevoian
I want. I want them about the size of a cupcake. You know, the part that pops out of the.
Christy Lee
That you want.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
So you want like a. You want it to look like a cupcake sitting on a football helmet.
Bob Kevoian
That's exactly right. Yes. And that is a wonderful way to describe it. And I'm going to use that from now on. Hey, baby. I don't know how the state's going, but let's see those boobs. See if it's a cupcake sitting on a football helmet. What?
Tom Griswold
So what about the nipple part? I mean, that's the actual nipple. Nipple, yeah. Do you like it long?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah. Oh, I like it long and droop. No.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
I like a sausage link. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
I like them to react, you know, I like. I don't like them just laying there.
Pat Godwin
Yeah. The reaction is sexy.
Tom Griswold
Is it?
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
It's like getting a receipt, you know?
Pat Godwin
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
It's like those squirters, you know, that's just like.
Tom Griswold
Wait a minute.
Bob Kevoian
You know, it's like, hey, you know, they could scream, good job, all this stuff. But until. Until you have something tangible.
Jeff Oskay
Do you feel like you've been on a log A log ride?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
It doesn't count.
Tom Griswold
That can scar a woman for life.
Bob Kevoian
What? What do you mean?
Tom Griswold
The squirter thing? Because if you can't, then you feel like you're an adult.
Jeff Oskay
You just aren't trying hard enough.
Pat Godwin
Sort of a rare, rare occurrence.
Bob Kevoian
To be honest, it's not us. There's an article in Cosmo.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, I read it.
Bob Kevoian
Try.
Tom Griswold
Really?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Try harder. That's all you gotta do.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I know. There's moisture in there. You cry all the time. Just push those. Push those down a little. That's. This is Cosmo. This is not me.
Bob Kevoian
That's exactly right.
Tom Griswold
This. Never mind. I should have.
Christy Lee
No, Christy, you're absolutely right.
Tom Griswold
My first husband and I married very, very young. We all know that. I was 13 and 15, 20.
Bob Kevoian
Was he a squirter?
Tom Griswold
No, but his previous girlfriend was, and I heard all about it.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, no.
Tom Griswold
So you don't think that scars a.
Christy Lee
He had very little experience. He messed up.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. You never talk about a former employer, and you never talk about.
Tom Griswold
And then to add insult to injury, she moved in around the corner in our house. What a house. I lived later in life, not. Not after.
Christy Lee
Did she water your lawn?
Pat Godwin
She made the curve all wet.
Bob Kevoian
She had the most beautiful lawn in the neighborhood.
Jeff Oskay
You slept on the sidewalk, flooded the living room.
Tom Griswold
It made Halloween very awkward, you know,
Pat Godwin
she wanted the fire hydrant.
Tom Griswold
That's all.
Bob Kevoian
According to the anecdotal evidence I've seen. As far as the films and movies.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Christy Lee
Maybe this is odd.
Bob Kevoian
Eyewitness testimony. Some. Sometimes that can get out of control. I mean, that's all. That's a lot of moisture and.
Tom Griswold
Isn't it?
Christy Lee
Well, there are very different arguments as to what it actually is.
Jim Rome
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
It's a reaction.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Christy Lee
So studies report that between 10% and 54% of women have experienced that.
Tom Griswold
Oh, come on.
Christy Lee
Really? I don't like how wide that margin is. I had always heard it was closer to 10.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, that's what I heard.
Christy Lee
So, you know, that's just AI taking a bunch of studies and putting it all in one sentence, but. No. Yeah. Women should never feel.
Tom Griswold
Please, ladies. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Goodness.
Tom Griswold
This is my PSA for today.
Bob Kevoian
I tell you that if you just act like you like the person you're with, that goes along.
Jess Hooker
Does it?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Pat Godwin
Just being nice.
Christy Lee
Little enthusiasm.
Bob Kevoian
Because I. I've been there when they don't like you, and it's. It's no fun. It's no fun at all.
Christy Lee
It isn't fun at all.
Ally Breen
At all.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, speaking of fun, let's look at the emails from our listeners. And I made the mistake of saying that I had puppy fever. So now people are sending me pictures of puppies. So I'm going to share just one. Good morning, you sexy bastards.
Christy Lee
Thank you.
Bob Kevoian
Wow. Chick mentioned he has puppy fever. And Christy mentioned they now have golden retriever mini pups.
Tom Griswold
Mini doodle or mini goldens is what they call them.
Bob Kevoian
Well, this is Grant from Eagle, Idaho.
Tom Griswold
Great name, Grant.
Bob Kevoian
And this is Harley, our little golden retriever, Minnie. She's mixed with a King Charles spaniel. And I think the King Charles are often the world's ugliest dogs. You think? Don't they have the.
Tom Griswold
Oh, maybe the Chinese crested. I think.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Or ugly dogs. Whatever.
Tom Griswold
The King Charles are gorgeous dogs.
Bob Kevoian
She weighed six pounds when we got her. Now weighs 15 up to 22 when fully grown.
Christy Lee
Oh, Harley's a sweet pup.
Bob Kevoian
Her name is Harley, but we call her Pardo because now and then she's never not funny.
Tom Griswold
Oh, all right.
Bob Kevoian
Jimmy Pardo fan. Very nice. Once again, Grant. Grant in Idaho. We're big with people in Idaho. I don't know.
Tom Griswold
Idaho is a great state.
Jessica Alsman
I don't know.
Bob Kevoian
Beautiful, clear, crisp air.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Wonderful. You have a letter over there. Oscar. I see you looking.
Jeff Oskay
I. Well, I have multiple. Josh's tarantula has sparked the imagination of the.
Bob Kevoian
What do you do with it?
Jeff Oskay
We have a lot of owners.
Bob Kevoian
Well, at the time when you had the tarantula, I assume you were dating.
Christy Lee
No, no, I was. I was maybe 9 to 13 or something. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
All right.
Jeff Oskay
This is from William. I was doing night training at Camp Pendleton and south Southern California.
Tom Griswold
That's an oceanside. I'll be there next week.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, well, look for Christy. And was setting up an ambush on top of the hill. As I got down behind the gun, I looked next to me, I foot. My face was a tarantula. I couldn't move because the enemy was approaching. I just had to sit there and wish that little mfer away. That is from William and Mike, also in the military. Yeah. Had a tarantula on his arm and almost had a heart attack.
Christy Lee
And already in a high pressure situation.
Bob Kevoian
Right.
Jeff Oskay
And I was unaware of this. According to Brian in the Ozarks, sometimes you'll see tarantulas crossing the road.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Do you?
Christy Lee
I haven't. Oh, I remember I was real little in the car and my parents were like, look at that spider. And I could see it. I was in the back seat.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, my gosh.
Tom Griswold
And crossing the road, huh?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
And I remember my mom her quote was, I'm surprised it didn't flip the car. My little boy imagination was picturing really, really big. Yeah. The size of a manhole cover type.
Jeff Oskay
Well, Brian had a tarantula for 12 years. He said that one thing you didn't mention. When they molt, any limbs that had broken off will grow back.
Christy Lee
Because sometimes a spider will lose its. Yeah's part of the leg or something like that.
Bob Kevoian
That's a creature from hell. Yeah, there. Oh, there's a wild throwing legs. Good lord.
Christy Lee
I went to the mall over the weekend and I saw a store called Socks to be you.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Christy Lee
And I just loved.
Bob Kevoian
I love it. Great, great name.
Christy Lee
Ryan writes in. He says hello from South Georgia. That's actually the sister company of a very popular store in the South.
Tom Griswold
Oh.
Christy Lee
He said he goes for all his sock needs. He will shop there. The store is called it ain't gonna sock itself.
Bob Kevoian
Is that right?
Christy Lee
Thank you, Ryan. I'll keep an eye out for that store.
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Christy Lee
I would spend a thousand dollars.
Jeff Oskay
Oh yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Just to get a couple of the bags. So Socks to be you on the outside. Once again, Josh causing conversation. Dear Bob and Tom, my name Sean. I heard you guys talking about Crossy Roads.
Jeff Oskay
Yes.
Christy Lee
And I look, please. Crossy Road.
Bob Kevoian
Crossy Road. I look. I looked it up yesterday and yeah, there's a picture of a chicken. And it's. It's an actual game. It's amazing. Crossy road is a real game. You can make real money, evidently betting on yourself.
Tom Griswold
I really thought you made that up.
Pat Godwin
I did too.
Tom Griswold
I honestly, man, I was have bet. Me too. I would have bet money.
Christy Lee
I try. Yeah, no, it sounds silly. I get why it sounds.
Jeff Oskay
It's very Minecraft looking.
Christy Lee
Right. It's like if Minecraft met Frogger.
Bob Kevoian
So you. You can pick your avatar. It can be a chicken. It can be what? Whatever you want it to be. Right?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Like, look at all those avatar choices up top there.
Bob Kevoian
Oh my gosh. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
Got your penguin, your. Your Nessie. And then you can. You can't just pick them right off the bat though. You have to earn some of them.
Pat Godwin
Them.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, well, that's nice. We also talking about steak houses yesterday.
Tom Griswold
I have a steakhouse story myself.
Bob Kevoian
There's. Well, what is it?
Tom Griswold
This is from Amy.
Bob Kevoian
I put you right on the spot, baby. Go.
Tom Griswold
It's from Amy in Houston.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Tom Griswold
She says there was a York Steakhouse Houston, Jamestown Mall in North County. I always remember the buttery hamburger buns. And that's where my older brother taught Me. What a suicide drink was.
Christy Lee
Oh, okay. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, that's like a mixture of putting
Tom Griswold
every fountain soda in one soda.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah. Oh, gross. Have you ever done that?
Tom Griswold
I have never done.
Christy Lee
You know, I never did it as a kid, but it was super popular.
Bob Kevoian
You know, other than. Other than roller skating in your basement. What did you and your three brothers do that was like ornery and I. I don't hear you guys were very well behaved.
Christy Lee
We were, yeah. I mean, no, yeah, we. We would have our spats, but nothing, nothing ever got too out of hand. I mean, we just knew to bear ourselves, I guess. I mean, there was a lot of wiffle ball. There was a lot of street hockey. So. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
That's nice. That's nice to hear. Hey, everyone, there's still a Ponderosa Steakhouse. This is from Tony. It's located in Wisconsin Dells, by the way.
Christy Lee
York Steakhouse. We all remember the buttery hamburger buns, essentially.
Tom Griswold
Never been to a York steak.
Larry Morgan
You hadn't?
Tom Griswold
No, I never would have until yesterday.
Christy Lee
Gotcha. Gotcha.
Tom Griswold
So they did have buttery hamburger buns.
Christy Lee
They were, they were. The buns they served with their meal. But they were almost like a hamburger bun that were just. Just buttered and slathered with awesome.
Tom Griswold
You know me, I'm. I love bread.
Bob Kevoian
Those in the buns at Lums. Remember Lums?
Christy Lee
We didn't have that.
Bob Kevoian
They had a beer. A beer.
Tom Griswold
The hot dog is steamed in beer.
Bob Kevoian
Hot dogs steamed in beer at Lums. That was their biggest. That was their big entree. It was really good place that closed
Tom Griswold
up here that had the great rolls.
Bob Kevoian
I thought if you ate a hot dog steaming beer, you'd get drunk.
Christy Lee
Oh, Charlie's was famous for that.
Ally Breen
That's it.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, that's right.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, they were good.
Christy Lee
There's some fine rolls out there.
Bob Kevoian
You can still get those rolls somehow, can't you?
Tom Griswold
I don't know. They were good.
Bob Kevoian
I know where the. I know where our warehouse is. Oh, with 9,000 dozen, we can go over there.
Christy Lee
There was a chance O Charlie's lasted three years longer than it could have because of. Of the roles. The roles.
Bob Kevoian
The roles are so good. It kept them in the game, right? Absolutely. And frequent steakhouse that I visited in Portland, Oregon called Sailors Old country kitchen. Sailor spelled S A Y L E R S. Oh, it was a true steakhouse. Any cut, any size. And the 72 ounce sirloin steak. Eat it and it's free. I made an attempt and failed. God forgive me, but my colon did not.
Christy Lee
He says, oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
That's never again. That's Eric in Spokane.
Jeff Oskay
I went to a steakhouse up in Escanaba, Michigan, and they wheeled out a cart of fresh steaks and you would say, I want that one. They would put it on your plate. You walked over, they had a huge pit grill and you walked over and you threw your own steak on the fire.
Christy Lee
Oh, wow.
Jeff Oskay
And they had chefs around if you wanted them to cook it for you. But you could cook your own steak on the open fire.
Tom Griswold
I want a chef to cook my steak.
Bob Kevoian
No, it was awesome. And then they want 50 tip or something.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
No, they had all the seasonings. They had the butter. You could butter.
Bob Kevoian
That does taste good.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, it was so much fun.
Christy Lee
Nice.
Jeff Oskay
Best steak I've ever had.
Bob Kevoian
No kidding.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, like seven inches thick. Yeah. I may be embellished.
Bob Kevoian
Seven inches.
Larry Morgan
Yeah.
Christy Lee
A work boot.
Bob Kevoian
Sports and news coming up. But Christie's going to tell us about her swell car.
Tom Griswold
Yes. Because right now the Hyundai folks are having the getaway sales event. You could get a deal so right it almost feels wrong. Right now they have deals on their most popular models including adventure ready SUVs like the Hyundai Santa Fe or Santa Fe hybrid if you like going off roading a little more or if you're a street gal like me, the Tucson or Tucson hybrid. Plus there's the Elantra. Their sedan is so good looking and it's loaded with the latest in technology, all electric folks. They have the Ioniq 5 or Ioniq 9. So get down to your local Hyundai dealer and get away with the deal you'll love during the Hyundai getaway sales event. Visit HyundaiUSA.com for all the details.
Bob Kevoian
Thank you, Christy. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. We'll be right back. This is the Bob and Tom show.
Jim Rome

I will always have a complicated relationship with this game, but people evolve. So do sports. Do not make me regret this. Do not make me devolve back to that guy that so many clones wish that I still was. And do not embarrass the entire country. Now I can go back. I can get there fast. Lose tonight and you got a real problem. Do not blow it.
Larry Morgan

Pat Godwin
Give it a shot.
Bob Kevoian
Very excited coming back from his Tommy John shoulder. Jimmy John adjustment. There's Josh Arnold.
Christy Lee
Christy Lee bought me lunch yesterday at Lee's Famous Recipe and man, we had a great beer.
Bob Kevoian
Boy, Nice.
Tom Griswold
I tell you, their food, the chicken.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Their chicken pot pie. The chicken inside of it was so juicy and tender and huge pieces. Not like those we were talking about.
Christy Lee
This.
Tom Griswold
The frozen ones you used to get as a kid. Tiny little. You might find a piece of chicken if you were lucky.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, there's something about those ones. You get it as a kid. Those ones you had as a kid were. But no, I've had the Le Pop.
Tom Griswold
Oh, the crust was perfect.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. There's Jeff Oskay.
Jeff Oskay
That's right.
Bob Kevoian
There's Ace Cosby.
Christy Lee
Yum.
Bob Kevoian
And now I'm hungry.
Tom Griswold
Thanks.
Bob Kevoian
That brings us to sports where my favorite thing happened yesterday. A animal got loose at the ballpark. It was Comerica Station, America Station, Comerica Ballpark in Detroit between the Tigers and the Orioles. I think it's like the bottom of the sixth. And you'll see a little black squirrel out in the outfield areas close to the turn for the worst on the on deck circle inter. And you hear the squirrel. You hear the squirrel. And the play by play they add to that. Yep. So here they are.
Christy Lee
Oh, my gosh. That was a. A bomb that just got hit.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. You can turn the audio up. Is the audio there? No, the audio is not there. And then the umpire comes out and stops everything. And then they get the ground crew in and then they have. Then they have. They counted during the game. There are 13 people with towels, 13 ground crew members trying to get the squirrel.
Tom Griswold
What were they going to do with them? Pick him up and take him out?
Bob Kevoian
Well, they actually do this. This doesn't end happily for the squirrel. They do.
Christy Lee
Oh, they do.
Bob Kevoian
They do. Pick him up in a towel and take him off. I don't know.
Christy Lee
Well, it doesn't end Apple and the squirrel in that. He wanted to watch the rest of the game. Yeah, yeah. Everything's fine with the squirrel.
Pat Godwin
But they'll bite you, right? You pick them up.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah, I would think.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Apparently it hurts like hell.
Bob Kevoian
A squirrel bite.
Christy Lee
Yeah. You see. Have you seen videos of it?
Tom Griswold
No. Do they?
Christy Lee
Hang on, tough guys. I Mean, they just scream.
Larry Morgan
Really?
Tom Griswold
How do you get close enough to a squirrel to have it bite you?
Christy Lee
It's one of those things where they're like parks a lot of times, and the squirrels will come up and eat out of your hand, but they just take. They end up taking a chunk out of the guy's hand.
Bob Kevoian
Isn't there a guy online that.
Ally Breen
That
Bob Kevoian
subjects himself to, like, the most painful sting?
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Christy Lee
And then they actually had a show. It was only about 10 or 12 episodes, and it was my favorite show that was on at that time. Yeah, it was like, boy, it was pre Covid, right? And these two guys went around and they just got. They got bit and stung by these crazy insects and animals to see what hurt the worst.
Bob Kevoian
And there was one thing that's labeled as the most painful sting on earth or some sort of murder hornet or something.
Larry Morgan
Yes.
Christy Lee
That was like, for those two guys. It only. That only made it to like.
Bob Kevoian
No kidding.
Christy Lee
8 out of 10.
Bob Kevoian
Wow.
Christy Lee
There was a fish, like a. Some sort of sea thing that they were, like, about to pass out. They had medics and all this stuff.
Tom Griswold
What would make you want to do something?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, I love more views for your website. Yeah, I love it. You were right there.
Tom Griswold
Well, thanks.
Bob Kevoian
I've only been stung by be one time. It was when I was a. A fat little kid. I fell on a bee out in the yard, and it was just his last breath stung me.
Christy Lee
It doesn't.
Bob Kevoian
As I crushed it.
Christy Lee
It doesn't happen. It hasn't happened as an adult.
Bob Kevoian
It hasn't happened as an adult.
Christy Lee
It happened a couple years ago and you forget. You go, oh, yeah, no, this does suck. There's like five minutes of just. Just real suck, and then it's nothing.
Tom Griswold
You know what else? You don't know you're allergic until you get stung. That happened because you're allergic. Yeah. I ran into a yellow jacket nest. Didn't know that they were in the ground.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, I moaned over a yellow jacket nest.
Tom Griswold
I was gardening one day and I was gonna put some geraniums, and I hit and it stung. They stung me right here. And my arm.
Christy Lee
On your wrist swelled up?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Wow.
Tom Griswold
I look like pop. Yeah. Yeah, that was.
Bob Kevoian
I came home one time not that long ago, and I was informed this is during one of the legal entanglements. Yes, I was informed there was a giant hornet's nest in the tree that hanging over the driveway, and it was just noticed, and what was I going to do about it? So I thought I'd get a garbage Bag. Shut up. Spray. Spray hornets and wasp nest in there. Like.
Tom Griswold
You mean like raid or something? Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
And then close it up and then go over and take a stick and knock the hornet's nest into the garbage bag.
Christy Lee
I don't think this is bad thinking.
Bob Kevoian
And then tie it up real quick and everything. Well, I hit it. It didn't come off when it's supposed to. And the hornets that's crashed on the ground and I got stung like, I don't know, three or four times.
Christy Lee
That sucks.
Jeff Oskay
Bad.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I just remembered that, man. Oh, yeah. That's another reason to get out of that boy.
Christy Lee
Did you hear laughter from inside?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, probably on the phone with her friends. Hey, you gotta see what I'm doing now. I have him do. Yeah, he's in it.
Christy Lee
Oh, Gloria, it worked.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, aren't you ready for a song pat of let's do it.
Pat Godwin
This is exciting. The first time.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, it's the first time with. And I believe after the surgery, Josh is going to help with this.
Pat Godwin
Get Josh involved with your. Grab your big kazoo over there and to. I'll walk you through this. I'm going to need you to go.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Larry Morgan
Like this.
Pat Godwin
I think the shorter side.
Tom Griswold
I think shorter side.
Bob Kevoian
There you go. You need to get closer to the mic mic.
Pat Godwin
So I'll count it off.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Maybe a little bit closer.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Do we need to run a sound check?
Pat Godwin
No, I think we're good. This is the song.
Bob Kevoian
Perfect.
Pat Godwin
That always gets me in trouble because the name I use when I first wrote it was the real name of the person it's about, so I was forced to change it. So then when I did change it, they got mad that I changed it.
Bob Kevoian
Can't take a compliment, huh?
Pat Godwin
Just can't win.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Pat Godwin
Are you ready, my friend?
Christy Lee
Yes, sir.
Pat Godwin
A one and a two and a three and a four and a. Hey. Got a gal named Barbara. Barbara o' Brien is a name when they're intoxicating, I'm like a moth to a flame I haven't had a drink in 15 years I walk a very straight line but if Barbara o' Brien's boobs were booze I be loaded all the time.
Tom Griswold
Whoa.
Pat Godwin
You know I never been a boob man and I don't mean to objectify it's important I stay sober Heaven knows I try I go to my AA meetings But all I think about her double days if Barbara O' Brien's boobs were booze I'd wake up with the DTs and Barbara's boobs were booze. Oh, I'd be bomb him of a day. If her rack was full of wine I'd go from Tito Summer, yay. I got a gal named Barbara Barbara o' Brien is her name.
Christy Lee
Here we go.
Pat Godwin
If her tatas were Tito's and I had me a sip I'd fall off the wagon with one little nip if a chi cheese were full of tequila I'd lick the salt Squeeze those limes the Bob o' Brien's boobs were booze I be loaded all of the time off Barber o' Brien's boobs were booze I be smashed. Totally get faced. Very nice.
Bob Kevoian
We'll be back with more sports and news with Christy.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I got some stuff about a toilet drinking competition.
Christy Lee
Oh, I hope it's dogs.
Bob Kevoian
Wow, that's.
Christy Lee
Is it. Is it persons?
Tom Griswold
It's persons drinking out of toilet bowls.
Bob Kevoian
Think they prefer the blue flavoring.
Christy Lee
Mind if I sip out of your toilet?
Bob Kevoian
We'll be right back. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jim Rome
Hey, thanks for listening to the Bob and Tom show this morning. Get a look at today's show on our YouTube channel
Bob Kevoian
or.
Tom Griswold
But I think we're back up and running.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, welcome back to the Bob and Tom show. In the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios, there's Christy Lee at the news desk.
Tom Griswold
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
There's Pat Godwin. Hey, Chick, back off the DL. Ready to roll. I think your right arm where you had your shoulder reconstruction might be stronger now than your left arm.
Pat Godwin
I feel like Superman.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Gosh, wouldn't you want to put, like, something mechanized in your shoulder if you could, like, you know, make you super strong?
Pat Godwin
Right? Yeah, that's gonna happen.
Bob Kevoian
Strangle somebody with it. Oh, there's Josh Arnold.
Christy Lee
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
Jeff Oskay.
Jeff Oskay
Hey, man.
Bob Kevoian
And Ace Cosby. And that brings us to the wonderful world of sports and famous superstitions. Michael Jordan wore his University of North Carolina shorts under his Bulls uniform for good luck.
Christy Lee
Who would have thought the extra would be cumbersome?
Bob Kevoian
But, yeah. I don't know how Wayne Gretzky put baby powder on his stick on his stick blades. And drank Diet Coke, water and Gatorade in a very strict order between periods. Wow. And you can't argue with the great one.
Tom Griswold
No.
Bob Kevoian
Wade Boggs ate an entire chicken before every single game and took batting practice exactly at 5:17pm and I had heard that chicken thing.
Christy Lee
I. I always thought it was made up.
Bob Kevoian
I thought it was, too.
Tom Griswold
But wow, could you eat a whole Chicken.
Bob Kevoian
That's all.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I could, but I.
Tom Griswold
And before you play a big game.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I wouldn't want to.
Bob Kevoian
Well, maybe, maybe, maybe some nights is just a game hen.
Christy Lee
Of course. He's a big dude, though.
Pat Godwin
He is a big Cornish game day.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, why not? Serena Williams wore the same pair of unwashed socks throughout an entire tournament during winning streak.
Christy Lee
She could have sold those.
Bob Kevoian
Sold those socks for millions of dollars, man. Jason Terry, kind of a journeyman in the NBA. He slept in the opposing team shorts the night before. Wow, that's a good.
Tom Griswold
That is kind of cool. I like that one.
Bob Kevoian
You'd have all the. You have all the team shorts.
Jeff Oskay
That's a lot of shorts.
Bob Kevoian
That's a lot of shorts. 29 other pairs. Patrick Wall talked to the goal post. This is the one that I find. I. I do the same thing that there was Matty Philippe and Jesus Alou, the famous Alou brothers when I was a kid. And Moises Alou now. Well, he just stopped playing. Not. Not that long ago. But he urinated on his hands during his baseball career. He said it kept them tough and he didn't have to use batting gloves.
Pat Godwin
You know. You know, Chick, when I played football, I had something that I did every game.
Bob Kevoian
Right.
Pat Godwin
I would get tackled and fumble every single day.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Christy Lee
Superstition. Yeah, absolutely.
Bob Kevoian
And if you hadn't fumbled yet, you said, coach, please put me in. I haven't fumbled yet. Then there are team superstitions. The no hitter.
Tom Griswold
Wait a minute. You're gonna just skate over that, peeing on your hand. How could that possibly toughen up your hands?
Christy Lee
There's not oftentimes. There's and logic to.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Christy Lee
Superstition. I would imagine he just thought it did.
Bob Kevoian
Moises dad or uncle or grandfather did the same thing.
Tom Griswold
All right.
Bob Kevoian
The entire Alo household smelled like they had cats.
Christy Lee
He was the only guy the team wouldn't high five when he got home.
Bob Kevoian
Stay away from. I do like the home run celebrations they have now. Like Seattle has like a. A trident. Oh, and they hand it to the guy who hit a home run. And the Nationals had Washington wigs. They put. Oh, when you get a home run, they place one. I can't remember any of ours, but
Christy Lee
does all that happen in the dugout or do they need them at.
Bob Kevoian
Right in the dugout? Yeah. That's kind of cool.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Let's see. Playoff beards. NHL players stop shaving from the start of the playoffs until their run ends.
Christy Lee
If they take part, your hardcore fans will do the same.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah. And Once again, players across various leagues keep wearing the same unwashed compression shorts or lucky shirts during winning streaks. Like you've have us have a specially good game. You don't. You don't change your underwear and your undershirt.
Tom Griswold
You have a good show. Do you wear the same underwear the next day?
Bob Kevoian
Well, when I have a good show, I'll let you know.
Christy Lee
Do you guys have superstitions before you. I go on stage or before you.
Tom Griswold
I have to use the restroom before we go on stage.
Christy Lee
Interesting.
Tom Griswold
Have to like.
Christy Lee
Yeah, because I'm the opposite. If I have to pee a little before I go on stage, I. Wait, really? No kidding.
Ally Breen
I want that.
Christy Lee
I want that energy.
Tom Griswold
No, I have to go before I
Bob Kevoian
go out and I have to watch Christy go to the bathroom.
Tom Griswold
Oh.
Christy Lee
Oh, wow. Yeah. Well, it kind of works out.
Ally Breen
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
It's okay. Yeah. It doesn't mean anything. It's just a tradition.
Tom Griswold
Seems like forever since we've been on stage. I'm not complaining.
Pat Godwin
It's been a while. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Well, let's see. FIFA president Gianni Infantino. And I'm just doing this story because I'm proud of the way I'm pronouncing Gianni Infantino. Thank you very much. He's attacked perceived critics one week after the World cup finals. The critics are spreading hate and false rumors Gianni says about the tournament. He praises FIFA for delivering the best show in the world. World and the World cup brings joy and togetherness to the world. He also has a problem with critics. A 900 word statement published in a 15 page post on Instagram and FIFA's website.
Christy Lee
Don't you ignore them all? Yeah, I don't. Why do this?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I don't.
Christy Lee
Put your energy towards the next World Cup.
Bob Kevoian
I don't. I don't really.
Tom Griswold
Isn't there a ladies World cup next year or something?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, us and us women have won it three or four times.
Christy Lee
That'll be cool.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Is that in the States? I don't even know.
Bob Kevoian
We Bogota. I want to say Colombia.
Tom Griswold
Oh, okay.
Bob Kevoian
I'm not sure.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
And that brings us to. You're never gonna guess. That's right. Stupid world record. Oh, yeah. You like to skydive, Josh?
Christy Lee
I haven't done it, but I would try.
Bob Kevoian
You like to tattoo?
Christy Lee
I love tattooing people.
Bob Kevoian
Well, isn't it time you do both? A man from Florida has broken the Guinness World Record for the highest altitude skydive while performing a self tattoo. Oh, are you? His name is Funky. We have a match. M A T A S Is his last name Mattis Made us funky. Mattis jumped from 15,000ft before tattooing the word fly onto his hand while he was in free fall.
Jess Hooker
All right.
Christy Lee
Wow.
Bob Kevoian
The 38 year old staged this stunt in Lake Wales, Florida.
Tom Griswold
Wonder how sketchy the fly looks like.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, can you. Can you tell there were. It's a word.
Tom Griswold
I don't think Jason's looking for it right now. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
He said, considering we were. I was going about 120 miles per hour on my freefall. I think it came out pretty good. You can definitely read it.
Christy Lee
Came out really good.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Larry Morgan
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
It says fly. There you go.
Christy Lee
Legible as anything.
Bob Kevoian
That's right. He said one of the most difficult parts of tattooing itself in freefall was jumping out of the plane. No, it was keeping my ink from freezing.
Tom Griswold
Oh.
Christy Lee
It looks like he had some trouble with the ink. It kind of looks like the Y has less ink than the F, but. Yeah, but you also run out of time, don't you, and spend a little extra time on that F and you go, oh, geez, I only have a few seconds to do L and Y.
Bob Kevoian
And he said he was also limited in the amount of ink that he could work with and had to work quickly before the wind froze the ink that he had.
Christy Lee
I'm glad everything went well. Otherwise he would have had tattoo splat on his hand.
Tom Griswold
Oh, there are.
Christy Lee
I might as well have said nothing.
Bob Kevoian
There are stories about people that survive a free fall and their shoot doesn't
Christy Lee
open and they survive crazy. Like those Time Life books, remember?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, they're like they land in a mud bog or something or a top
Tom Griswold
of a tree or something.
Bob Kevoian
Or extenuating circumstances.
Jeff Oskay
I saw a guy last week who was trying out discount parachutes that he bought off Teemu.
Bob Kevoian
What?
Jeff Oskay
And like, jumped off a cliff, like, had a backup shoot and throws the Teemu up and it shreds and he has to throw another parachute up and he survives. But yeah, he tried out Teemo Par.
Jim Rome
That's a good.
Jeff Oskay
That guy.
Bob Kevoian
Are you kidding?
Christy Lee
I may have saved lives.
Larry Morgan
Oh, yeah.
Jessica Alsman
A lot of lives.
Christy Lee
Lives. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Have you ever purchased anything off temu?
Jeff Oskay
No.
Christy Lee
No, I'd rather just go. I'd rather dig through a trash can.
Tom Griswold
No, right.
Pat Godwin
Is it that bad?
Tom Griswold
People believe that.
Christy Lee
Oh, God.
Bob Kevoian
All I know is every day pretty much I get a email saying I have a 350 bonus on Temu. I don't. I don't open it.
Tom Griswold
We should buy some stuff just to see.
Christy Lee
Well, just talk to Al Jackson. He legitimately loves it.
Tom Griswold
Does he really?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Sweet face loves the teu. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Good bargain, I guess. Buy your parachutes there. We've learned that.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
If you don't remember anything else we've said today.
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Don't get parachutes off. Teemu. We moved. Moved some things around this week and Ali Breen and Sexy Time are going to be today.
Tom Griswold
Oh, they are?
Bob Kevoian
That means Jess Skman will be here in a couple hours. And we've got news coming up from Christy. What do you got over there?
Tom Griswold
Yeah. We have a toilet drinking competition. I know all of you who are pet owners. When you walk your dog, you always bag.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Well, now in one Swiss town, you're gonna have to worry about the urine part too, huh?
Christy Lee
Unbelievable.
Bob Kevoian
Are you.
Tom Griswold
No.
Bob Kevoian
That's the worst feeling. You take your dog out and you forgot the bag. Yes.
Tom Griswold
When you look at the homeowner at the home, even if the homeowner's not looking at you, and you go, I promise I'll be right back.
Bob Kevoian
I'll be right back with the bag.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
And you don't go back.
Tom Griswold
I go back. You don't go back.
Bob Kevoian
I just.
Christy Lee
Oh, no, I'm not. I don't walk a dog.
Bob Kevoian
I don't go back.
Tom Griswold
You don't?
Bob Kevoian
No.
Tom Griswold
Oh, you gotta go back.
Bob Kevoian
I mean, they poop in my yard. I, I, you know, I let it go.
Tom Griswold
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Larry Morgan
Really?
Tom Griswold
You see the little signs that say a little.
Bob Kevoian
It's good.
Tom Griswold
No pooping in my yard.
Bob Kevoian
Good for the grass. No, I haven't.
Christy Lee
I saw one of those signs. I would poop next to it.
Tom Griswold
It's got a little dog and it looks like it's pooping and it says,
Christy Lee
and don't poop in my yard. I'm taking a dump right there.
Bob Kevoian
You know, we could learn a lot from our dogs, you know, the friends they have. I mean, we have close friends in our life, but you don't go out in the backyard and use the bathroom next to your clothes. Well, no, you're urine. I guess guys do that.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Even that, though.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Doesn't happen a ton.
Ally Breen
Right.
Christy Lee
Unless you talk to Tom, in which case you're having contests.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, well, yeah, right.
Tom Griswold
We've already determined things about Tom,
Bob Kevoian
but I've never, you know, the major transaction with a buddy out in the backyard.
Tom Griswold
You know, my two dogs won't go at the same time. It's funny, really. Not number two. One will wait for the other one.
Bob Kevoian
And they get do get in that shrimpers pose, don't they? They look like a Little shrimp when they curl up.
Tom Griswold
Yes. Or they. They have to find just the right spot. That's the other thing. What are they looking for?
Bob Kevoian
I don't know. But they go around in circle and they.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
It's got to be a scent thing.
Bob Kevoian
This is.
Tom Griswold
It has to be.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Christy Lee
A squirrel. Pete, here. I got to show them.
Bob Kevoian
I've read that the, the power of a dog's smell. We can't comprehend how. How strong it is. It's like a million times ours or something.
Christy Lee
Yeah. They know you're gonna fart 10 minutes before you do.
Bob Kevoian
That's exactly. I say. They can smell you on your way home.
Tom Griswold
Frankie did the fart and scared her. Didn't know what it was. Thing yesterday. It's so funny. Jumped off the bed. Who's that?
Christy Lee
I've done that.
Bob Kevoian
I think you might have done it in here. Scared all of you.
Tom Griswold
You know what's scary? High prices on those credit cards. That interest. You're looking at it going, I'm paying. What?
Bob Kevoian
Terrifying.
Tom Griswold
Yes. Well, I can help you with this because American Financing is ready and waiting to give you information about paying off that high credit card debt. Yes. If you're drowning in credit card interest at 25% or more. Listen up. If you're only making the minimum payments, that debt's going to follow you for years. That's why you should call American Financing, because they can save you an average of $800 a month by using the equity in your home. You'd probably be surprised how much equity is sitting right there that you could use, and you owe it to your family and to yourself to see what's possible. American Financing has no upfront fees. There's no pressure, and it'll cost you nothing to find out what you could save every month. If you start today, you might be able to delay two mortgage payments. Call American Financing, the number 866-889-2611. That's 866-889-2611.
Bob Kevoian
Or go to American Financing.net bobandtom nmls182334nmlsconsumeraccess.org
Christy Lee
Average savings based on borrowers who save over $200.
Tom Griswold
Out.
Bob Kevoian
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Part Studios. Christy Lee at the news desk.
Tom Griswold
Howdy.
Bob Kevoian
There's Pat Godwin.
Pat Godwin
Hey, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
Back and raring to go.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Has the guitar. Could play. You can play the guitar. The keyboard. Sometimes at the same time.
Pat Godwin
I know.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. There's Jess Hooker. She's There. There's Josh Arnold.
Christy Lee
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
There's Ace Cosby. Hello, I'm Chick. Hello, Jeff. Oscar.
Jeff Oskay
Hello, good sir.
Bob Kevoian
Yes, yes. Christy, what's going on over there?
Tom Griswold
I don't know. What do you got?
Bob Kevoian
If I told you what I have, you wouldn't believe me.
Tom Griswold
Okay. But.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, let's go to the video. I don't know if this is anything or not. This is a pigeon riding a drone. You guys.
Christy Lee
You guys, this is absolutely something.
Bob Kevoian
Is this something or is this nothing?
Tom Griswold
That's awesome.
Pat Godwin
I don't know.
Bob Kevoian
I don't know if the drone is owned by Amazon or whatever, but it looks just like a private drone.
Christy Lee
I'm gonna be honest. I'm gonna.
Bob Kevoian
Is it AI, you think?
Christy Lee
No, I think it's a fake. I think it's a person's pigeon and drone.
Tom Griswold
So it didn't just land on the drone as the drone was flying.
Christy Lee
I think this was a.
Bob Kevoian
Well, even if it is stunt, it had still.
Tom Griswold
Cool.
Bob Kevoian
It takes a lot of training to train a pigeon to trust the drone because.
Christy Lee
But an untrained pigeon, not going near that drone.
Bob Kevoian
I would. I wouldn't think so.
Jess Hooker
Is that the equivalent of like the moving sidewalk for a pigeon?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, it is.
Christy Lee
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Yes, I bet it is. I'm just tired of flying.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I need a break. Can you get me over there to that bridge?
Bob Kevoian
I gotta tell you, if I could fly, I. I don't think I'd ever get tired of flying.
Tom Griswold
I don't think I would either, boy.
Christy Lee
Not for a while. But you must.
Tom Griswold
You think their wings get tired?
Christy Lee
Well, I don't know about that, but I bet.
Bob Kevoian
So, you know, they'd have to. There's a lot of energy in birds. Lactic acid, a lot of protein in birds.
Jeff Oskay
Have you seen the new drones that can pick people up and, like, carry them? Like they were using them in a river rescue. These people were stuck in the river, and the drone comes over them and there's a rope, and they rope around them, and the drone lifts them out and flies them to the awesome bank. That's what I think we're gonna do. We're all gonna have our personal drones fly us into work.
Pat Godwin
Are you sure it wasn't a helicopter?
Jeff Oskay
No, it was a drone.
Jess Hooker
It was a little baby helicopter.
Christy Lee
Sometimes bringing something up in the. This room is. It can be tough.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, you'd have to.
Christy Lee
Wasn't a helicopter.
Bob Kevoian
You'd have the remote control in your hand to control the drone. Yeah, you could lift it and fly anywhere, Pat. It was a drone, you know, I don't have the flying dream. I know that's a popular dream. I've never had the fly. I have the jumping dream.
Christy Lee
I get those more than the flying
Bob Kevoian
where, like, sometimes it's out of a building. Thank you.
Christy Lee
I can bound up or down two flights of stairs.
Bob Kevoian
Yes. I bounce instead of fly.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
And I can bounce incredible distances as naturally as anything.
Christy Lee
And it. And nobody seems to care.
Bob Kevoian
No, like, that's.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Are you bounding?
Christy Lee
Yes. Like I'll. I'll be at the top of a staircase and just all. And just jump down to the bottom and just do that. All the way down the stairs.
Bob Kevoian
Absolutely.
Christy Lee
While everyone else is just walking down.
Jess Hooker
Fine.
Bob Kevoian
And I'll bound in. I'll bounce in from my house to hear, like, only 10, 20 bounces.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
I'm here.
Christy Lee
Like the Hulk would do in the Eric Bana version.
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Oh, I have the flying dreams. Love them.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
They're awesome.
Christy Lee
I have a lot of falling dreams too.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
You jerk yourself awake.
Pat Godwin
Like he jerks himself asleep.
Larry Morgan
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
I was gonna say that's how most
Bob Kevoian
guys do, you know. Sometimes that's the only thing you can do.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
And you know, you got to get a good night's sleep.
Pat Godwin
It works.
Christy Lee
Sometimes I. I don't even have to jerk in my sleep. And I'd wake up and the end result is there really still. Yeah. I talked to my doctor about it. It's because a medicine I take.
Jess Hooker
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
I'm not gonna name it because it'll be sold out and I actually need it.
Jess Hooker
So do you have the. Do you have the fun part of it or do you just wake up and feel relaxed?
Christy Lee
No, I have the. In the dream, usually something's happening and then I'll wake up and go, oh, okay, I gotta.
Jess Hooker
Got that out.
Christy Lee
I got laundry today.
Bob Kevoian
Don't you try to talk yourself out of it at first. No, no, I'll go to sleep. I don't have to. I've had that conversation. No, no, no. Leave yourself alone.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah. Those days of like. Yeah, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Be. So just grab it.
Christy Lee
My numbers have dwindled big time.
Jeff Oskay
But if you are having trouble falling asleep, nothing will put you to sleep quicker.
Bob Kevoian
That's the. You know, I like the opposite for my.
Tom Griswold
Opposite for me.
Jess Hooker
Energy. Let's go.
Christy Lee
Oh. Even for you. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
It wakes me up.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
I pride myself on my feminine outlook and I. I understand. And all your feelings and, you know, Mr. Feelings. But I've never been more of a guy than after that. And I'm sound asleep. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, Just out.
Tom Griswold
Do you guys. I don't know if this story is going to make you happy or sad.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, good.
Tom Griswold
Apparently, according to the New York Post, a lot of New Yorkers are not using deodorant during the city's summer heat wave.
Christy Lee
Why is that?
Tom Griswold
The trend is being driven by people who say they're avoiding antiperspirants for environmental reasons. Josh, I do hate health concerns. Or simply to save money.
Christy Lee
Oh, all right. So they're avoiding.
Bob Kevoian
I didn't know that antiperspirant and deodorant were different. Are two different things.
Tom Griswold
Absolutely.
Christy Lee
I didn't know that until recently.
Tom Griswold
Are you serious?
Christy Lee
From you guys. You guys taught me that you can
Bob Kevoian
get deodorant that's just deodorant.
Tom Griswold
Deodorant covers the smell, but it doesn't stop you from sweating.
Jess Hooker
Right.
Bob Kevoian
Antiperspirant.
Tom Griswold
Well, stop.
Bob Kevoian
Anti.
Christy Lee
I've never used antiperspirant and I won't.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, don't.
Christy Lee
Your body is sweating.
Pat Godwin
Sweating is good.
Christy Lee
Yeah, you know, we've noticed that.
Tom Griswold
Josh, not you. Not of course, one of them, 36 year old Kate Coretta of Brooklyn, who says she has no plans to start using deodorant. Deodorant. Ever again.
Christy Lee
I have a feeling she's not using a lot of razors.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I love a real hairy.
Tom Griswold
She says they're a stupid thing to waste money on.
Jess Hooker
You know what? Deodorant is expensive.
Pat Godwin
It is.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. I was looking at it the other day. 18 for the like clinical grade deodorant.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Just the secret. I was like, that's.
Tom Griswold
That seems high.
Bob Kevoian
Wow.
Christy Lee
Mine's expensive because it's non paraben. Non. It's like the healthiest. But it's also the best deodorant I've ever used in my life.
Jess Hooker
That's awesome.
Pat Godwin
What is it?
Bob Kevoian
It's called don't say it'll be sold out.
Christy Lee
No, I'm not too. It's all right. It's called each and every. And they have a whole brand of
Jess Hooker
like just all kinds of personal hygiene.
Christy Lee
Really good stuff.
Jessica Alsman
Nice.
Bob Kevoian
Do they have a romantic sounding scent or.
Christy Lee
Well, you know what the name of my scent is?
Bob Kevoian
A guy sounding scent center Alone time.
Pat Godwin
The scent.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that tracks. It does kind of track. Not masturbatorially, but.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I have a lot of alone time. But the. The scent is great. I forget exactly what it is. Like pine wood or something.
Jess Hooker
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
Or no, but I'm not. I may have gotten the non fragrance.
Jess Hooker
Oh, that's the way I go.
Christy Lee
But this Is the first deodorant where, if I wanted, I could put it on today and not put it on again until Friday.
Jess Hooker
That's awesome.
Christy Lee
And not have any problems at all.
Bob Kevoian
Wow.
Christy Lee
It's crazy.
Jess Hooker
That's great.
Tom Griswold
What's it called? Each and every.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
You know what else works?
Tom Griswold
Wait a minute. I have a question.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Are you gonna get this for your husband?
Tom Griswold
No, my husband's fine. If you have an unscented deodorant, how does that work? Because the.
Jess Hooker
Oh, it's an un. I don't know.
Tom Griswold
Oh, wouldn't that be an antiperspirant?
Jess Hooker
Well, it's something that blocks the smell.
Christy Lee
Right. It deodorizes your odor. It's like a push.
Larry Morgan
It's a push.
Jess Hooker
Is it a push? It's a push. Okay.
Tom Griswold
Because I was thinking, like, okay, if it's not scented.
Christy Lee
No. It just keeps you from smelling.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
It keeps my scent away from everybody. Awesome.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Gotcha.
Bob Kevoian
Deodorant.
Jeff Oskay
I switch mine up every time.
Tom Griswold
I switch mine up all the time too.
Jess Hooker
I switch mine because stuff stops working. But I've noticed. I'll do. This is some hippie stuff, but it works. Just a lemon under your arms. It works sometimes.
Bob Kevoian
Wow.
Jess Hooker
I know. And it kind of, like, detoxifies.
Christy Lee
I know a woman who bluffed a lemon slice in her panties on purpose. She was a sour puss.
Pat Godwin
You're such a good actor. You're such a good actor. I fell for the real sour.
Bob Kevoian
Did you call her that to her face?
Tom Griswold
You ever used the crystal?
Jess Hooker
I tried it.
Tom Griswold
That rock thing.
Pat Godwin
Where does that go?
Christy Lee
Completely ineffective.
Tom Griswold
You would rub it underneath your arms as a deodorant. A natural deodorant. No, it was like a big.
Bob Kevoian
Put them in your nose and you can't smell it.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Didn't Warren have a joke about. He used Tom's main deodorant and he goes, it's super honest. It says right on the label. Does not work.
Pat Godwin
It's true. It does not work.
Bob Kevoian
There is a Tom's brand. Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
And I believe that's a deodorant. It's not an antiperspirant.
Jess Hooker
So there's.
Bob Kevoian
So it's a whole new world. I couldn't believe it.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. A lot of people don't know the difference. You're right. A Russian company has gone viral after hosting a contest that had participants drinking from toilet bowls. Plumbing company Eva Gold organized the event, dubbed Game of Thrones, featuring a pair of toilet themed challenges. The first stage involved folks racing to finish sparkling beverages with a straw from brand new toilet bowls.
Jess Hooker
Oh.
Tom Griswold
While the second had the winners see who could sit on a toilet seat the longest.
Bob Kevoian
Well, well.
Christy Lee
Hemroid Henry wins again.
Bob Kevoian
What do you got back there, Henry? My God.
Tom Griswold
The event offered a grand prize of over twelve hundred dollars to whoever could survive both challenges.
Christy Lee
So these are toilets fresh off the assembly line, as it were.
Tom Griswold
Allegedly.
Bob Kevoian
Well, they're very clean.
Tom Griswold
Yes, of course they are.
Jess Hooker
Are.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. It's a plumbing company. They're not going to put dirty toilets out there. Would.
Christy Lee
They've been a speed bump all morning.
Tom Griswold
I know what I do.
Bob Kevoian
What are you doing?
Pat Godwin
You know that's slow.
Bob Kevoian
Wait a minute. I have a question. I heard you.
Tom Griswold
I honestly had a question. That was a legit question. I hate all of you.
Bob Kevoian
That's what. That's what keeps the show going.
Tom Griswold
It's unclear who claimed the prize of twelve hundred dollars, but organizers said after ten hours of the competition, only two people had quit, leaving five remaining on their toilet seats. So I'll have to find out if I can see if there's a winner.
Jess Hooker
Do you remember the car challenges like radio stations would do in the mall and you had to keep your hand
Tom Griswold
on the car or kiss the car.
Bob Kevoian
There's a great documentary called Hands on a Hard Body.
Christy Lee
That is fantastic.
Bob Kevoian
And these people, what they'll do for a Toyota, whatever it was. Pickup truck, which is a nice truck.
Jess Hooker
Is that like the type of person it was.
Christy Lee
They were all. It was fascinating. They talked to them and yeah, you
Bob Kevoian
really started rooting for a couple of them.
Christy Lee
Right, right.
Bob Kevoian
It's a great documentary.
Tom Griswold
Dog owners in the Swiss town of Chiasso will soon have to clean up not just dogs, poopies, but also urine.
Bob Kevoian
Okay, hold it. I have a question. How in the hell. And I've seen. Where did I see Japan, where they have. They catch it.
Tom Griswold
The duty while they're doing it.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, right. As it comes out of Ace. Right there.
Tom Griswold
This May, this particular ordinance says pet owners are going to be asked to carry a bottle of water to delete urine left in public places.
Bob Kevoian
Oh.
Tom Griswold
First time offenders receive a warning. Repeat offenders face a fine of $120. The new rule is a response to complaints from residents. Switzerland's Italian language public broadcaster Chiasso Mayor Bruno Argiani said that Bruno sold the hot weather and prolonged drought and made smells more noticeable. And they've had enough.
Christy Lee
I see. So the water dilutes it. Like you just pour the water over it.
Ally Breen
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
There's no way. Unless you put a diaper on your dog, it's not how the hell you catch.
Tom Griswold
Well, people do do that.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Diaper their dog.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
There was a guy.
Pat Godwin
I do.
Jess Hooker
How did dog her life.
Christy Lee
How do dogs menstrual cycles work?
Jess Hooker
I don't know what the time frame is.
Tom Griswold
So they do they just go into puppy pads.
Christy Lee
There was a guy who worked at the box office at the St. Louis Funny Bone and he. Every time his dog was having a period, I guess if you get your dog fixed or whatever.
Tom Griswold
Right.
Christy Lee
So he just threw on a pair of his underwear on the dog. So this dog, which was just wearing. Wearing jockeys.
Jess Hooker
Oh, my gosh.
Bob Kevoian
But did that. Did that solve the problem?
Jess Hooker
No, that wouldn't.
Christy Lee
But we were just like.
Bob Kevoian
I guess I never thought about that. I've always gotten a puppy dog's spade as soon as you can. Most people do.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Yeah.
Christy Lee
A dog wearing human underwear.
Bob Kevoian
Wrong. But that. Those Weimaraner I talked about. I don't like those dogs that dress up in people clothes. You know, a dog with a hat and a three piece tweed suit with a shotgun going out to hunt.
Christy Lee
But you like when chimps do it.
Bob Kevoian
I do like it when monkeys dress up.
Jess Hooker
And you like dogs playing poker.
Bob Kevoian
I love dogs playing poker.
Christy Lee
But they're not realistic. It's painting. It's clearly.
Bob Kevoian
And they're not wearing clothes.
Pat Godwin
That's a pain.
Christy Lee
Yeah. So you. The realer it is, the less you like it.
Bob Kevoian
Right.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Bob Kevoian
If you see a picture of those dogs, they're. They're looking into your soul that are dressed up in people clothes.
Christy Lee
There was a planet of dog people.
Bob Kevoian
Right.
Christy Lee
You would not want to visit.
Bob Kevoian
You mean like BoJack Horsemen there.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
There are people and there are animal
Christy Lee
people and they're functioning. They have. They walk on two legs, like, you know.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I. I would not handle that. Yes.
Christy Lee
Because you love dogs.
Bob Kevoian
I do.
Christy Lee
I guess you just don't want to see them as people.
Bob Kevoian
I don't, but I'd love for him to talk.
Tom Griswold
Did I show you the video yesterday about the cat with the hulk arms? When we come back, we'll show you that.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, it's pretty great.
Tom Griswold
It's pretty funny. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
He's just walking around.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Also coming up, we have orcas smashing into fish just for fun.
Christy Lee
Oh, they're hilarious.
Bob Kevoian
And they're. They're doing it for fun, apparently. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
That's what scientists think. Now ram into them for the hell of it.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Christy Lee
It's got to get a little boring out there.
Ally Breen
There.
Bob Kevoian
Bunch of bullies.
Tom Griswold
Well, they're orcas. They're killer whales. They can do whatever the hell they want.
Bob Kevoian
We're coming back with that.
Tom Griswold
Now we have a whaling museum for the worst aquarium ever. T shirts coming up.
Bob Kevoian
Harpoons through the ages.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, Harpoons through the ages.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Christy Lee
You want to go see the scrimshogs of it?
Bob Kevoian
We'll be back in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bombington Show.
Jim Rome
Just gotta get a hold of us. Call, text or email. Get all the contact information you need@bobandtom.com this is the Bob and Tom Show.
Bob Kevoian
Welcome back to the Bob and Tom Show. We are in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. At the news desk, it's Christy Lee.
Tom Griswold
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
There's Pat Godwin.
Pat Godwin
Hey, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
There's Jess Hooker.
Jess Hooker
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
There's the one, the only, Josh Arnold. Hi, Jeff. Oscar's here. Yes, there is Ace Cosby and I believe we were over at the news desk talking about kitty cats. Is that what we're talking.
Tom Griswold
Yes, Yesterday on my Instagram, you know, I follow. I get a lot of pet videos, as I'm sure you do, because I like dogs and cats and I received a video that is some AI generated. But the actual object that is featured in the video is for sale on Amazon. You can get one for. For eight bucks up to 16, depending on who you want to buy from. But they're little hulk arms that you put around your kitty cat.
Pat Godwin
Come on. That's pretty funny.
Tom Griswold
And it looks, it looks like.
Bob Kevoian
It looks pretty good.
Tom Griswold
It's pretty funny.
Bob Kevoian
The guy who made those made many millions of dollars.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. I mean, my goodness.
Pat Godwin
Oh, man.
Christy Lee
Man, I just. I'm surprised my cat wouldn't.
Bob Kevoian
Wouldn't it.
Christy Lee
It's not going to be on there for more than two seconds.
Pat Godwin
Really?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I was gonna buy you some just to see what would happen.
Christy Lee
Nothing, unfortunately with, with my girls at least.
Tom Griswold
Well, it's a cute thing.
Bob Kevoian
Have you ever tried to put a hat on them or anything like that or maybe. Yeah, a Christmas theme.
Christy Lee
Gravy's been in a blues sweater and all that. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
But just not happy.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah, that's true.
Tom Griswold
Do you ever dress up your dog dogs?
Bob Kevoian
They do for Christmas. They have a reindeer antlers I put
Christy Lee
on and they do pretty good with them.
Bob Kevoian
No, they don't like.
Christy Lee
Oh, okay.
Bob Kevoian
No, they'll. They'll sit there, but they.
Christy Lee
Right.
Bob Kevoian
Don't care for it.
Ally Breen
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I tried to buy Christmas pajamas for them last year that didn't go.
Bob Kevoian
I was surprised. I got. The Joey has these. She hates fireworks and thunderstorms, so Whenever that I put a. It looks like a tube sock, but it goes over her head to have her. Her ears up against her ears. So it deadens the sound a little bit.
Tom Griswold
And she'll allow that.
Bob Kevoian
And she allows that. But maybe a half hour is about her limit. She starts to paw at it.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
We have matching life jackets for our dogs. They were swimming in the water.
Christy Lee
Yeah. That's great. They loved it.
Jeff Oskay
And then they got two little handles on top so you can lift them out of the water back onto the boat.
Christy Lee
Those are great.
Tom Griswold
Very handy.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Dogs need a handle. That's true. Yes. That's the only thing they're missing. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Scientists observed orcas ramming into the one of the world's heaviest fish so hard that it exploded. Recently, researchers in the Gulf of California filmed the orca holding a sunfish and letting it go just before another orca hits it at high speed, causing it to break apart into a thousand pieces.
Christy Lee
Those sunfish can be massive.
Tom Griswold
11ft long. Those things are wild and weigh over 5,000 pounds.
Bob Kevoian
I don't think we should be here. Fat shaming the sunfish. I.
Tom Griswold
No, we're not fat shaming. We're just staying there. Big.
Jess Hooker
I didn't realize the other orca was setting up his buddy.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, they're playing with the food. They think they do it just for fun. That's what scientists believe.
Christy Lee
Oh, this video.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Oh, it's kind of hard to see.
Bob Kevoian
Hang on a minute.
Tom Griswold
Boom. There you go.
Christy Lee
Yeah. The other ones. All right, now you smash it. It's sort of like letting your buddy
Tom Griswold
break at pool and then you get to eat all the remains.
Christy Lee
All right, so they are honoring the prey.
Ally Breen
Yes.
Tom Griswold
I mean, at least they're eating it. They're not just letting it fly around,
Christy Lee
but they do this little part for fun. It's like if I threw popcorn in your mouth.
Tom Griswold
Up.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, same thing. You know. I'll make dinner for you. Here you go. Bang, man.
Tom Griswold
A whaling museum in Massachusetts is going viral for capitalizing on one of its bad reviews.
Bob Kevoian
Pass.
Tom Griswold
Well, kind of. A whale user left a one star review for the New Bedford Whaling Museum, calling it the worst aquarium ever. The museum has several whale skeletons on view. They also have, I think, a. A modest aquarium setup, I would say. Well, the museum printed that review along with the illustration of a whale skeleton onto shirts, hoodies, and other merchandise, calling themselves the worst aquarium ever. Now, after CBS aired a segment on the merchandise, they're selling out. Oh, quite popular. So that's taking making lemonade out of.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, good Job.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jessica Alsman
So. So.
Tom Griswold
Congratulations. The tank in the middle of the fish floor houses south coast species including the blue crab, sea star and northern pufferfish.
Christy Lee
What did this person expect to see?
Tom Griswold
Whales, I have no idea. Real whales, probably.
Christy Lee
Well, that's an idiot.
Bob Kevoian
Do you remember when somebody got upset that they went to see the dinosaurs and they thought they were real dinosaurs instead of the animatronic dinosaurs that were touring the country?
Christy Lee
I don't.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, they were really mad.
Jeff Oskay
Wow.
Bob Kevoian
And I. I think it ended in a lawsuit or something. It was dismissed, but I think they filed. What happened to the actual dinosaurs?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. What now seven year old Timmy Jenkins is loaded right after that lawsuit.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah. Somehow. Yeah. A benevolent jury. That's what happens. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
The Canadian government is warning Alberta residents to stop releasing their goldfish into the province.
Christy Lee
Oh, I wonder what happens.
Tom Griswold
According to local specialists, the invasive species, Josh, has been detected in more than 100 locations throughout Alberta. The fish found in the province have grown up to 15 inches long. They dubbed the campaign don't let it loose to prevent people from releasing non native plants and animals into the ecosystem. You can be fined up to almost $71,000 over a year in prison.
Bob Kevoian
I've always heard that goldfish will grow to their surroundings. Surroundings. Like if you have a big tank, it'll grow as big as it.
Christy Lee
Gotcha. Well, these are doing it.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
So goldfish turn into carp, is that correct? Are they the same.
Pat Godwin
Same species, right, Josh?
Ally Breen
Right.
Christy Lee
I don't know.
Bob Kevoian
Are they baby carp?
Christy Lee
They seem similar, don't they?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
They just get a good name because they're gold, I guess.
Tom Griswold
What are the koi? Are they just fancy gold? They're fancy goldfish.
Bob Kevoian
Are they?
Tom Griswold
Are they?
Bob Kevoian
I'm not sure, Josh. Are they koi?
Tom Griswold
Florida city is reminding residents about wild monkeys. Amid recent sightings, the city of Mount Dora warned that the wild feral animals should be admired from a safe distance. They said wild monkeys can carry diseases and can become aggressive.
Bob Kevoian
And they have hands and are very
Tom Griswold
strong and they can bite or scratch you. Yes, yes. If you encounter monkeys, give them plenty of space and allow them to move through an area on its own. They're not supposed to feed, approach, touch, or try to capture any of the monkeys. Why do they have wild monkeys in Mount Dora?
Christy Lee
Where is Mount Dora?
Tom Griswold
Isn't it by Daytona Beach, I think.
Jess Hooker
Oh, my gosh.
Bob Kevoian
I vividly remember wanting. Wanting a pet monkey when I was a kid. I thought that would be.
Christy Lee
What kind did you want?
Bob Kevoian
Just the one that was on might have been On Ron Ely's Tarzan show or something.
Christy Lee
Yeah. One the of the chimps. Classic chimp.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. There's a classic. Yeah, yeah. It's.
Tom Griswold
It's a city.
Christy Lee
And Ely will show up in crosswords, doesn't he?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Ron Ely.
Christy Lee
Yeah,
Bob Kevoian
yeah. He also hosted Name that Tune, I believe.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, sure did. Very good.
Bob Kevoian
He was, he was an amazing entertainment machine is what Ron. He could be an actor. He could host a show.
Christy Lee
Only six total letters, but a lot
Bob Kevoian
of talent, Mr. Entertainment. You damn right.
Tom Griswold
Well, whatever you do, don't chase after wild monkeys in Mount Dora.
Christy Lee
Don't go chase wild monkeys in Mount Dora. Stick to the monkeys, you know, friendly monkeys.
Tom Griswold
You know what megalophobia is?
Christy Lee
Yes. I, I don't, I don't have it, but I get why people do.
Tom Griswold
Well, it is an air ration of giant sharks.
Christy Lee
It's a fear of giant things, of exceptionally large objects.
Tom Griswold
Very good.
Jess Hooker
I'm on board with it. This. It's very specific that, like the flags on the side of the highway that are too big. That's too big. You don't need a flag that big. That scares me to.
Bob Kevoian
I get it.
Christy Lee
When it's like a rowboat next to a massive oil tanker.
Ally Breen
Yes.
Jess Hooker
Those big boats are scary.
Christy Lee
That creeps me out.
Bob Kevoian
I didn't know I had it until I landed somewhere. I drove up the. From San Francisco up to Oregon to do a comedy and I went through San Francisco in the middle of the night. And those, they're just giant ship. And I went through and I ship ships. I almost, almost. I almost. Yeah, I didn't. Didn't care for it. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Josh, what is it that, what is it that you have? The underwater thing?
Christy Lee
I have sub mechanophobia.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Christy Lee
I'm afraid of man made structures underwater really creeps me out. I can't get.
Jess Hooker
I hate it is creepy. And even watching them like sink an old boat like that gives me. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Does it make you. How does it manifest? You like physically ill or.
Christy Lee
I get just. I like just now I had the shivers like legitimately. And like even things like if I'm swimming and then I have to go to the dock to get on the ladder, right?
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
I hate it.
Jess Hooker
Even the posts for the dock, like going down. I can walk through seaweed, I can mud. I can handle all that.
Ally Breen
But that's.
Christy Lee
I could walk through a swamp. Fine. And. But if there's a half submerged statue in that swamp, I can't get near it.
Tom Griswold
For a person with megalophobia, the sheer Scale of large objects triggers a severe psychological, even physical response. Rapid heartbeat, sweating, nausea, the sense of being smothered, the desire to flee the situation. Scientists now say extreme fears can and have many causes, like a negative experience or learning one from a parent. Humans are biologically wired to fear things that could crush, eat or overpower them. But this ancient survival instinct is overactive in people with megalophobia.
Christy Lee
Interesting. Yeah, man. Now I don't have megalophobia. Like, I don't have like the fear of a giant person. I don't have because that's not. In fact, I might even have somewhat of a giantess fantasy.
Bob Kevoian
Is that right? Okay, did you watch, what is it? The attack of the 50 foot woman
Christy Lee
or something that may have imprinted at a young age.
Bob Kevoian
Do you remember when she was upset he was cheating on her and he went out, she went over to the bar where he was having drinks with this woman and she tore the roof off the place.
Christy Lee
Right, right.
Tom Griswold
That'll teach him.
Christy Lee
And as a child, I went, why am I not afraid of that? In fact, I welcome it.
Bob Kevoian
What does this say? The 50 foot? Say what you want about her. She was very attractive, active. Yeah, I know why they didn't get somebody uglier to play her. You know who could have played her?
Larry Morgan
Who?
Bob Kevoian
Ron Ely.
Christy Lee
Ron Ely could do anything.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Put a wig on him. There you go.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
More news coming.
Christy Lee
He could have played the bar. He was that good.
Bob Kevoian
Ronnie. He's sadly, he's, he's gone.
Christy Lee
Oh. Probably. Oh, 50 years gone.
Pat Godwin
Right.
Tom Griswold
Been a while.
Bob Kevoian
We'll be back. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios will remember Ron Ely. This is the Bob and Tom Show.

Rested, relaxed and fully rehabbed.
Pat Godwin
Oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Ready to roll. Got the guitar right there.
Tom Griswold
You allowed to lift weights and work out and everything?
Pat Godwin
Not the lifting just yet. The strength training will come in the next couple of months.
Tom Griswold
Oh, okay.
Pat Godwin
A lot of stretching.
Bob Kevoian
Next stop, triathlon for you. Yeah. There's Jess Hooker.
Jess Hooker
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
There's Josh Arnold.
Christy Lee
Hi there.
Bob Kevoian
Ace Cosby. Jeff Oskay.
Jeff Oskay
I Don't trust people who are always busy. What are you running from?
Christy Lee
Are you hiding from yourself? Yeah. Are you?
Jeff Oskay
There's something you don't want to deal with.
Jess Hooker
Oh, yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Mentally. So you gotta keep.
Bob Kevoian
I think that's a phobia, not being able to.
Christy Lee
That's an interesting phobia.
Bob Kevoian
Always being busy.
Christy Lee
Fear of not doing something.
Tom Griswold
I think we know someone like that.
Bob Kevoian
I can't think of anybody.
Jeff Oskay
You were talking about phobias earlier, Christie. We got a little phobia. A quiz. If you guys would like to humor me with that for a second.
Bob Kevoian
All right.
Jeff Oskay
Maybe you guys know some of these, maybe you don't. What about nomophobia?
Christy Lee
No.
Larry Morgan
No.
Jeff Oskay
Phobia.
Tom Griswold
A fear of Phil Collins.
Christy Lee
Is that right?
Bob Kevoian
No, Mo. Now, these are all real.
Jeff Oskay
I love that. These are all real.
Bob Kevoian
All real phobias.
Jeff Oskay
All real phobias.
Bob Kevoian
You're not throwing a red herring in here.
Tom Griswold
No, Mo. I don't know.
Pat Godwin
You're not afraid of no nothing.
Jeff Oskay
It's fear of being without your mobile phone.
Christy Lee
Oh, I don't have that. You guys have that.
Pat Godwin
I have that.
Tom Griswold
Never. I have that a little bit.
Jeff Oskay
You have a little. No more phobia.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I'll go back for it. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I believe I've left my phone at home a couple of times.
Jeff Oskay
You would think me and Pat have this one. It is Pluto, phobia.
Bob Kevoian
Tiny planets. I don't know.
Christy Lee
Fear of cartoon dogs.
Jeff Oskay
Fear of money. Money, really?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
That's why we don't have any, because we're afraid of it.
Tom Griswold
You're afraid of it.
Pat Godwin
I act like a. Sure, sure. What is it called? Sailor on shore leave.
Ally Breen
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Spend it all the time.
Christy Lee
Burns a proverbial hole in your pocket.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
You know what? Because if he's got it, he'll spend it.
Christy Lee
We got Globo phobia, fear of. Travel the world.
Jeff Oskay
Well, round something round. Oh.
Tom Griswold
Fear of globes.
Bob Kevoian
Fear of testicles.
Jeff Oskay
Fear of balloons.
Christy Lee
Fear of balloons.
Bob Kevoian
Is that right?
Tom Griswold
Global phobia.
Jeff Oskay
Globophobia.
Bob Kevoian
There's a sexual turn on, if you will. Men like to watch women pop balloons.
Christy Lee
That's interesting.
Bob Kevoian
The anticipation of the whole thing. And, yeah, they really enjoy.
Christy Lee
I don't have that.
Bob Kevoian
No.
Christy Lee
In fact, if anything, I. Oh, gosh. It's gonna pop, right?
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Have any of you ladies had a guy want you to pop a balloon for her?
Tom Griswold
No.
Ally Breen
No.
Christy Lee
Boy, that's got to be one of the easier videos to make, doesn't it?
Jess Hooker
When I see women doing it and I'm just like, oh, my gosh. People Are paying her.
Tom Griswold
How are they?
Jess Hooker
She sits on it. Or she'll. She'll wear high heels and pop them.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, but she's usually wearing high heels. And then bounces down on the balloon with her butt. Pops it. No, not always naked.
Christy Lee
That's the thing.
Jess Hooker
Okay. I'm not searching for this stuff, by the way. I don't know how. I know.
Bob Kevoian
Sounds like you're an expert.
Jeff Oskay
Arithmophobia. This is quite.
Christy Lee
I probably have fear of math.
Jeff Oskay
Fear of numbers?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, Numbers. Josh has.
Christy Lee
Can you imagine being afraid of numbers?
Jess Hooker
Yeah. How does that even work? How do you get through life?
Christy Lee
I don't know. Yeah, I have a fear of simple math. I. It's not a fear. I just suck at it.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
You know, there's somebody in the room who assigns gender to numbers.
Christy Lee
How does that work?
Jess Hooker
I don't know. It's just something I've always done when I was a kid. Like, I assign it to colors, numbers.
Jeff Oskay
47. 7.
Jess Hooker
That's a boy.
Jeff Oskay
That's really.
Christy Lee
This is amazing.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Why do you do that?
Jess Hooker
I don't know. I don't. I'd. I, like, I'm also the person that, like, I change the pillows around because I don't think the. The front pillows should get that much, you know, FaceTime. Like, hey, let the back pillows come up front.
Tom Griswold
Just.
Jess Hooker
Everything has an emotional quotient. Is. Is what it comes down to.
Christy Lee
No, you. What you would probably be good at is stocking. And the reason. Oh, okay.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. That. I mean, honestly, when I. When I do help at a. Like a restaurant in a grocery store, that's my. That's why they like me to come in there, because the stuff that they all hate doing is the stuff I love to do.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Christy Lee
I kind of get. I get what you're saying here because I liked it too. Like, one of the big things with
Bob Kevoian
stocking is facing the shelves.
Jeff Oskay
That.
Christy Lee
And the product that was in the back needs to be moved forward so that it's fresh.
Ally Breen
Yeah.
Christy Lee
It's food.
Jess Hooker
Well, I do that with your guys. Is stuff here, like.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Like, I don't. Like. I'm not gonna. Yeah, the old pop comes to the top, and I. I put the new.
Christy Lee
The gendering is really interesting. Is it because something gives you a masculine energy or a female energy when you.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. And it's. I. And I don't know why. I don't know where it started.
Christy Lee
Does it stronger for you when you see it or hear it? So if I say blue when I
Jess Hooker
see it, because it's all like, it started in school. Like, I would write it and be like, you know, clearly, you know, the number nine is a girl, and she's next to the number three, who is a boy. And like, it's really wild. Yeah.
Christy Lee
Have you met anybody else that does this or talk to anybody about it? No, it's not a problem.
Jess Hooker
No.
Christy Lee
I just think it's interesting.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. I don't know why.
Christy Lee
What about.
Jess Hooker
I do it with letters, too?
Christy Lee
Are things, Are there obvious things like pink is girl or do you just stay away from that?
Jess Hooker
And I bet that's where it starts. Like when they started assigning those colors to us as kids. Kids. That. It was like, well, then everything has a gender, obviously.
Christy Lee
Interesting.
Jess Hooker
You know what I mean?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. Because I still even think the gender neutral colors have gender. Yellow is a girl, green is a boy. That's clear.
Christy Lee
And the way that you say, that's clear.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Really? I love stuff like that.
Ally Breen
Wow.
Jess Hooker
Weird. Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
This one. Tom would say we all have ergophobia,
Bob Kevoian
the fear of work.
Jeff Oskay
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Really?
Jeff Oskay
100%.
Bob Kevoian
Tom would say that. Yeah, you sure would.
Jess Hooker
Can you get disability for that? You'd be like, look, I've got fear work.
Jeff Oskay
I knew a guy, lawyer.
Christy Lee
I knew a guy who. This was not a good person.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Christy Lee
All. All around.
Jess Hooker
Right.
Christy Lee
But he got disability. And, and the reason he got it was he was depressed, which. Hey.
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Christy Lee
That, that can be a legit reason.
Bob Kevoian
Sure.
Christy Lee
But the reason he was depressed is because he would. He would get depressed if he had to go to work.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Christy Lee
And they gave it to him.
Jess Hooker
No way.
Christy Lee
That's where I went. You know, this system might be a little.
Jeff Oskay
That's crazy.
Tom Griswold
That guy's a genius.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, no kidding.
Bob Kevoian
Holy heck.
Jeff Oskay
Here's one. Tom definitely does not have the coprophobia.
Christy Lee
Oh, fear of poop.
Jeff Oskay
That's right.
Christy Lee
No, he. He has the opposite almost.
Bob Kevoian
He's in love with it.
Jeff Oskay
And finally, decidophobia.
Tom Griswold
Can't make a decision.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Interesting.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I have that. My daughter has it really bad. Yeah, we.
Christy Lee
If you don't think you have it, go to Netflix.
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Oh.
Christy Lee
See, if you don't scroll for 45
Tom Griswold
minutes and then go.
Christy Lee
You know what? I'm not watching anything.
Tom Griswold
You cannot give me more than two or three choices or I'm.
Jess Hooker
How are you at a restaurant?
Tom Griswold
It's horrible.
Jess Hooker
Do you check the menu before you go?
Tom Griswold
Horrible.
Pat Godwin
It's horrible.
Jess Hooker
No, I, I, My sister has this, and I was like, I'm never going to eat with you again, ever.
Bob Kevoian
I hate restaurants. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Like, she just Couldn't decide on. On a milkshake flavor. And I was like, I'm going to strangle you right here. And. Oh, it was horrible. Yeah.
Christy Lee
I've started, you know, I've started to break my mind by just not. Not taking part in it, ignoring it.
Tom Griswold
Don't go to the restaurant.
Christy Lee
If I go to Netflix. Oh, what am I going to watch? What am I. Watch this. And I just started.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Huh.
Jess Hooker
Just head on.
Jeff Oskay
There's one I can't pronounce. I'm going to give it to Josh because he's smart.
Jess Hooker
I have another question about this last one, though, Christy. Like, what's another place that you see it show up? Like, not just in menus, but, like, everything.
Tom Griswold
Paint colors, furniture, clothing, everything.
Bob Kevoian
I have it sometimes, like a grocery store. I can't.
Tom Griswold
Grocery store.
Bob Kevoian
I can't decide what, like, bread to buy, stuff like that.
Christy Lee
Yeah, Everybody's got a touch of it, I bet.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I'm real bad. Sophie's real bad.
Christy Lee
This is my fault.
Tom Griswold
I put. I passed it on.
Christy Lee
I'll give this my best shot.
Bob Kevoian
All right.
Christy Lee
This is a legit fear. It's hippopotamonstrose equipped daliophobia.
Jess Hooker
Whoa.
Tom Griswold
The fear of seeing a hippo every day.
Jess Hooker
Etymology would.
Christy Lee
Yeah, it's the fear. I. I don't care for this.
Jess Hooker
Okay.
Christy Lee
It's the fear of long words.
Pat Godwin
Oh, that's ridiculous.
Christy Lee
So what they've done is made a long word. I.
Jeff Oskay
It should have been the opposite. Like a two letter word.
Christy Lee
Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
We need to go find whoever started this.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
And the fear of long words should be something like plit.
Larry Morgan
What?
Tom Griswold
Like what?
Christy Lee
Plit.
Jess Hooker
Plit.
Jeff Oskay
Oh.
Bob Kevoian
Oh.
Christy Lee
Sometimes we hear what we want to hear, don't we?
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Do you guys have any, like, legitimate phobias?
Pat Godwin
Oh, God, yes, I do have sub.
Christy Lee
Mechanophobia is my closest legitimate phobia. And that's the fear of underwater structures.
Jess Hooker
Right, right.
Tom Griswold
Claustrophobia.
Christy Lee
Do you think I drowned in a past life? Do you think I was, like, on the Titanic?
Pat Godwin
Maybe.
Jess Hooker
Possible. Yeah. Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
I have a fear of crowd. Like being in crowds, like, where people are touching.
Jess Hooker
You're also not good in the car.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, I'm not good in the car or in relationships or.
Bob Kevoian
What are you doing?
Pat Godwin
Or a bicycle. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
What are you doing? The car. You get nervous.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, sometimes I have to, like, pull my hat down and he's not a good passenger. Yeah, I'm a back seat, side seat driver.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Terrified the whole time.
Christy Lee
What do you think phobophobia is?
Bob Kevoian
Fear of everything.
Jess Hooker
Phobophobia.
Tom Griswold
Phobe fob.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Oh, no, I'm sorry. P, H, O. Phobo.
Tom Griswold
Phobia.
Bob Kevoian
For a good soup.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
It would be far. Phobia.
Christy Lee
Hobophobia is fear of phobias.
Tom Griswold
Oh, I was gonna say that, but I thought it was too obvious.
Christy Lee
I know, right?
Ally Breen
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Okay.
Christy Lee
Phobia, phobia, xantophobia. And it's zant with an X.
Tom Griswold
Fear of Xanax.
Christy Lee
Nobody has that fear of
Bob Kevoian
people. Not from your country.
Christy Lee
Oh, oh, that's. Yeah. Because the xenophobe. First off, fear of Xanax is really tough to have because the only treatment is Xanax.
Larry Morgan
Yeah.
Christy Lee
So you have to hide it in their food like a dog.
Bob Kevoian
Right? Yeah. No, no, go ahead.
Christy Lee
Xantophobia, Fear of the color yellow.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, really? Huh.
Pat Godwin
Huh.
Christy Lee
I guess also afraid of Coldplay.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
I stand by this dude, that yellow.
Christy Lee
I stand by that whole album.
Tom Griswold
I'm out. I am not a Coldplay fan. I will be on record.
Christy Lee
Isn't it funny? Because I bet if we showed a picture. If we took a picture of US and surveyed 100 people, which one of these people person is the biggest Coldplay fan?
Tom Griswold
That would be you.
Pat Godwin
Absolutely you.
Tom Griswold
No, no.
Christy Lee
This song is wonderful. It's perfect.
Bob Kevoian
I'm going to cry when it comes.
Jess Hooker
I'm going to cry too.
Tom Griswold
Guys are so crazy.
Christy Lee
Those with xantophobia right now are covering their ears.
Jess Hooker
They can't handle it.
Tom Griswold
Look that the scourgy and sad. They have happy.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, come on.
Jess Hooker
They have happy songs too.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. What about.
Jess Hooker
About Clocks.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, Clocks is great.
Tom Griswold
That's another one.
Bob Kevoian
So you don't like Clocks?
Tom Griswold
I don't like.
Pat Godwin
Everybody like Clocks?
Tom Griswold
Nope, not everybody.
Bob Kevoian
I think Chris Martin's dreamy. You don't.
Tom Griswold
I didn't say. I didn't think Chris Martin was dreamy. But I don't like Coldplay. The music, it's okay. Yeah, Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
I tell you, with that attitude, you won't get a second date, I can tell you that.
Tom Griswold
Well, that's fine. I don't need a date. I have a husband.
Pat Godwin
Well, for now.
Bob Kevoian
But he would prefer things that you do differently. Am I correct on that?
Christy Lee
And you and your husband often go on dates?
Tom Griswold
Yes, we do.
Bob Kevoian
I think that's very nice.
Pat Godwin
Do you have a date night? Set night?
Tom Griswold
No, not really. Every night's a date night.
Bob Kevoian
As long as you're not. As long as you're not putting the socks away.
Tom Griswold
That's right. I'm not rolling socks. I'm good.
Jess Hooker
How often do you Go on dates
Jeff Oskay
Once a month.
Jess Hooker
Once a month?
Christy Lee
I was going to say they kind of have a regular date.
Jess Hooker
That's what I'm curious about. Like what's the frequency? Mine's once a week. Week.
Tom Griswold
But you have kids at home? I don't. We go all the time. I mean, there's go, go, go, go.
Jeff Oskay
If we didn't have kids at home, we would never leave the house.
Jessica Alsman
Really?
Jeff Oskay
That's the only reason we leave is to get away from them.
Tom Griswold
That's why you have dad.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
That's a good idea. Hey, let me tell you about staying at the house. Why you need Simply Safe, the Do It Yourself home security system. Tom Griswold
Well, hi, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
Hi there.
Tom Griswold
How are you today?
Bob Kevoian
Good. There's Pat Godwin.
Jess Hooker
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
There's Jess Hooker, Josh Arnold, Jeff Osk. That's right, Ace Cosby.
Jeff Oskay
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
Hello. Hello. I'm Chick McGee. I believe we are at the news desk.
Tom Griswold
We are at the news desk. A New York chef is Going viral for a three foot seafood. Is it? Fra Diavolo pizza slice.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, my gosh.
Tom Griswold
Jason, you need to look this up.
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Joe's Rotisserie in Roselli park serves up the massive pizza slice with a garlic knot crust that is topped with mussels, fried calamari, and shrimp.
Pat Godwin
Wow.
Tom Griswold
One slice, $42.50. The shop is also known for its triple threat pie. A calzone, garlic knots, and pizza all in one.
Christy Lee
You had me at garlic knot crust on the pizza.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Why hasn't someone thought of that before?
Tom Griswold
Joe's Rotisseria also has specialty pies like chicken fingers and fries and general TSO with broccoli.
Bob Kevoian
Pat.
Christy Lee
I. Oh, go ahead.
Bob Kevoian
Did you say rotisserie? Rotisseria.
Tom Griswold
Joe's Rotisseria.
Bob Kevoian
I like that. Yes, yes.
Christy Lee
You probably have had because you're an east coaster, essentially.
Pat Godwin
Yeah.
Christy Lee
The clam pie. The. It's like. It's a pizza with clams and clam sauce or whatever.
Pat Godwin
No, it's not a big thing where I come from.
Jim Rome
Okay.
Pat Godwin
Northeastern Pennsylvania has some of the best pizza, but not. Not a clam pie.
Bob Kevoian
You know, I've had a clam pie, Josh.
Christy Lee
You have?
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah. What did you think? Well, was it a bearded clamp? You stay huge. Stay for the smell. You come for the taste.
Pat Godwin
You know what?
Bob Kevoian
Something like that.
Christy Lee
We jumped into this.
Bob Kevoian
Yes. And then we went, oh, so enthusiastic.
Tom Griswold
Could you eat a three foot long piece of pizza?
Christy Lee
Well, yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Look at the size of the slice.
Jess Hooker
Let me see.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, that's $42. That's.
Christy Lee
Oh, that looks like a calzone being made.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah.
Jeff Oskay
There's another one with the bigger.
Christy Lee
This was last minute that we asked.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. I'm sorry. Yeah. We're running a little weird. I mean, weak.
Christy Lee
I try it. Wouldn't you?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I'm. I Like, we could share it. We were in. We were in the Northeast recently, and they had lobster pizza. That was very good.
Jess Hooker
What was the sauce?
Tom Griswold
It was like a white sauce.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, like an Alfredo or like.
Tom Griswold
Okay, very good.
Bob Kevoian
You guys should. No, no, no.
Jeff Oskay
White sauce.
Bob Kevoian
Joshua and Christy should lady in the tramp a big piece of pizza.
Tom Griswold
Oh, Josh and I shared some chicken yesterday.
Larry Morgan
Didn't.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, did you enter?
Tom Griswold
We toast. We toasted drumsticks. Yes, yes. He taught me the. Oh, yeah, I bet.
Bob Kevoian
I bet Josh taught you a lot.
Tom Griswold
He taught me the chicken pot pie crust mashed potato combo.
Christy Lee
Oh, yes, yes. Sometimes you. If you.
Jeff Oskay
Is this.
Bob Kevoian
Is this an old fat thing Thing?
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah, the crust. Crust around the chicken pot pie.
Bob Kevoian
So the.
Christy Lee
Yeah. The edge.
Tom Griswold
The best part.
Christy Lee
That gets a little hard, you break that off and you just dunk it
Tom Griswold
in mashed potatoes and gravy.
Pat Godwin
That sounds good.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, it was very.
Bob Kevoian
And you're on your way to heaven. That's exactly right.
Tom Griswold
It's very, very good. Thanks.
Christy Lee
Do we. Or do we have maybe the.
Tom Griswold
Oh, there it is.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that is. Oh, you know what? The shells are still on the muscle.
Tom Griswold
That'd be hard.
Bob Kevoian
That's weird.
Christy Lee
That'll shove it. You got your calamari there. It looks like maybe a ground ground meat of some kind.
Tom Griswold
I do like the garlic knot.
Bob Kevoian
I think that's worth. Worth $42, don't you think?
Jim Rome
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
It's the size of a huge pizza.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I'd try that. Looks pretty. I bet it's delicious.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Thanks. Joe's.
Bob Kevoian
I don't care for calamari.
Tom Griswold
You don't?
Bob Kevoian
No. Wow. I can't eat it as a meal. I can't get past the.
Christy Lee
It looks b hole like a bee hole.
Jess Hooker
It's breaded. Buttholes aren't breaded.
Jeff Oskay
Depends on what you said.
Bob Kevoian
They certainly could be.
Christy Lee
Mine's not breaded, but it sure has been battered. I like it rough back there. Mistreat my butt.
Bob Kevoian
Mistreatment. Back to you.
Tom Griswold
There's a story for you, Patrick.
Christy Lee
Oh.
Tom Griswold
Researchers from Johns Hopkins University say teens are using mobile food delivery at school. A survey at a thousand US teenagers found one in four reported using mobile food delivery services during school hours.
Christy Lee
Have they not seen fast times at Ridgemont High? Did they not know what happens when a pizza gets delivered to the classroom Mr. Hand makes? Yes.
Tom Griswold
Spicoli was on this way before Doordash.
Christy Lee
That's right.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Almost half of them use them after school. Among respondents who used food delivery apps, almost 60% reported ordering fast foods like pizza and burgers. One third said they ordered sodas or other sugar sweetened beverages.
Christy Lee
I would think I'd be furious if I were teaching and all of a sudden a doordasher came in with a venti blue coconut mocha.
Tom Griswold
They don't allow you to come to the classroom, do they? They would have to go to the office. They go to the office?
Ally Breen
Yeah.
Christy Lee
You can't get to the classroom.
Jeff Oskay
They have a rule at my daughter's school, like it's in the handbook, that you can't have food brought in now
Christy Lee
even at lunch hour. Oh, yeah.
Jeff Oskay
No, they. It was getting to the point where they would have 20 or 30 dashers every lunch. Show up with food for kids.
Jess Hooker
That's insane.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jim Rome
Wow.
Jess Hooker
I used to just skip the period before lunch and go get a bunch of big bean burritos and bring them back to the cafeteria.
Christy Lee
No kidding.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. It was the only fast food restaurant we had in our town.
Christy Lee
Did you. I happened to send you. I sent you a post on how to make school pizza.
Jess Hooker
No.
Christy Lee
Oh, it's on your Instagram.
Jess Hooker
Like the rectangle pizza. Oh, I'm gonna have to look it up.
Christy Lee
So I sent it to you. It has the recipe and everything. Everything.
Jess Hooker
Okay, I'm doing it.
Tom Griswold
Do all schools have the same pizza recipe?
Pat Godwin
Pretty much, yeah.
Jess Hooker
At your church, would they sell the pizzas? Yes, yes. That's how they did it at ours.
Jeff Oskay
Well, my mom was a school secretary, so we would get them by the case.
Tom Griswold
Oh.
Jeff Oskay
And they come in an actual sheet size, like sheet tray size sheet. And you go out and break off like four pieces, throw them in the oven. It was awesome.
Tom Griswold
We did not have half. We had hot food at my grade school the last year I was there before that. And they were the sandwiches that you would put in the little Stewart.
Pat Godwin
Hot.
Tom Griswold
Hot sandwiches. Exactly. That was all we had. You had to bring your lunch.
Jess Hooker
Oh, okay.
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah.
Jeff Oskay
We had pizza day at our school.
Tom Griswold
No, we had that in high school. Junior high. High school, but yeah. And not at the Catholic school.
Jess Hooker
At the church fundraiser, they would sell. You could get them frozen and buy the boxes and they'd mark them up and.
Tom Griswold
Nice, man.
Christy Lee
Yeah, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Let's see what else we have here today. If you've got an irrational fear. Oh, we already did.
Christy Lee
Was there a story for Pat that we just.
Tom Griswold
We did about the mobile?
Pat Godwin
About door dash.
Tom Griswold
Delivery. Door dash. Jimmy's a big.
Pat Godwin
I put the Kai kibosh on the door dash last night.
Tom Griswold
I said, oh, really?
Pat Godwin
I said, yeah. I put my foot down.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, we gotta.
Pat Godwin
We gotta cut back on. Daddy's just had a surgery here. He's got to pay for sure. And my deductible was, you know, whatever. And I said, and will you eat? So he said, yeah, dad, of course. I said, I have a lot of food here. And then I woke up at 2am to the fire alarm going off. No joke.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Because he had forgot about the bacon that he put in the oven. Apartment was filled with smoke.
Jeff Oskay
Oh.
Pat Godwin
I said, you know what? Let's go back to the door. I don't mind spending a little extra. Well, to be safe.
Jeff Oskay
What you're going to love. Pat is my daughter. Now, our son and daughter around the same age. She now is 16. Can drive, which your son's almost ready to drive.
Ally Breen
Drive.
Jeff Oskay
Doordash is out. You want a burrito, you go pick it up.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
I'm paying extra fees, so now I have my own doordash driver that goes out and picks up whatever I want whenever I want it.
Bob Kevoian
There you go.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Oh, that's right.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Is it true that people who are door dash drivers and when they want to order food, they can order their food and go pick it up, and so they're getting paid to be a driver and they're getting their dinner at the same time? Is that possible? Is that a thing?
Christy Lee
I don't know. Maybe that sounds.
Bob Kevoian
Somehow that sounds.
Christy Lee
I mean, why not give them that perk, right?
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Here's another thing with my son.
Larry Morgan
I'll.
Pat Godwin
I'll wake up, and I'll see he's had a fountain beverage, even though we have lots of Dr. Pepper. Whatever he wants in the fridge. I go, jimmy, you know, you don't have to get the beverage. But, dad, fountain soda's the best.
Jeff Oskay
He's not wrong.
Tom Griswold
He's not wrong still.
Christy Lee
I know. Yeah. I get both sides of that argument.
Tom Griswold
Commuters in Ohio got into a slippery situation recently after a crashed truck overturned on a busy highway and deposited pickles. The semi traveled outside the marked lanes, went into a ditch, rolled onto its side, scattering all the. Pickles. Pickles. The pickles across the road.
Bob Kevoian
Pickles, pickles, pickles.
Tom Griswold
Pickles. The Ohio department of transportation said State Road 316 in Pickaway County. Or is it Pickaway?
Bob Kevoian
Pickaway County.
Tom Griswold
Pickaway county was closed for several hours due to the accident.
Bob Kevoian
There is a Pickwick.
Ally Breen
Why?
Bob Kevoian
I got confused, and Pickaway county is Pickawa.
Tom Griswold
Is picka in Pickaway?
Bob Kevoian
It is not. Oh, I think pick was in Miami county.
Tom Griswold
And look at that. We have our guitar player back, and
Bob Kevoian
pat's right here in this county that we're in.
Pat Godwin
Tom demands we do any kind of a spill on a highway. He wants a song.
Bob Kevoian
I love it. I love it.
Pat Godwin
I got to sing it for him. And, you know, I'm running out of. I. I thought, let's do a Pat Godwin tribute.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Pickle.
Tom Griswold
Okay, song.
Pat Godwin
Here we go. Now this is a little tough, so I'm gonna go slower.
Christy Lee
Here we go.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Pat Godwin
Pickle spill, trucker. Pickle spill. Pickles on the highway. Pickles there still. Pickle spill, trucker.
Larry Morgan
Pickle spill.
Pat Godwin
Thanks, Gerkins. Butter spears and dill pickles squished on the road. Trucker was a kirk and dropped his load for 465 cross 69. The highway's covered in season, Brian. I'm talking pickles, Bill.
Jim Rome
Trucker.
Larry Morgan
Pickles.
Bob Kevoian
Pickles.
Pat Godwin
Spill pickles on the highway by the pickle park. Pickles.
Christy Lee
Picklesville.
Pat Godwin
Never drive pickle truck after dark. It's a little tougher to get out.
Ally Breen
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Okay. There we go.
Christy Lee
Nicely done.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, thank you.
Pat Godwin
That's a tongue Twixville.
Christy Lee
You can only have one pickle for the rest of your life. What are you having?
Tom Griswold
Oh, bread and butter.
Christy Lee
So the chip. The bread and butter chip, essentially never.
Tom Griswold
No, it doesn't have to be a chip. It could be a little gherkin. Little thing.
Ally Breen
Oh, okay.
Jess Hooker
You like the gherkin?
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Jess Hooker
I need to talk to you guys about the gherkin. It's.
Ally Breen
It's.
Jess Hooker
It's a clovey pickle. They all that. That's. They call it the Japanese pickle. Did you know this?
Tom Griswold
No, I didn't.
Jess Hooker
Okay. When I used it in the hot dog tartare that you missed last week.
Tom Griswold
No, I didn't miss it. No way in hell I'd eat that.
Jess Hooker
But that. You had to put a gherkin in it. And I was like, okay, what is the gherkin? And it is.
Jessica Alsman
It's.
Jess Hooker
It's a lot of clove.
Tom Griswold
It's like sweet pickle.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. But it's real clovey, and I never strained that.
Christy Lee
That flavor is a clovey.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
And bread and butter pickles are the chips. I guess.
Jim Rome
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
I don't care for that.
Jess Hooker
Oh, I love it.
Pat Godwin
I hate that.
Christy Lee
Interesting.
Jeff Oskay
I just want to. Dill.
Pat Godwin
Grillo's dill.
Christy Lee
Yeah. And how do you. How do you want. Want it? Spear.
Bob Kevoian
Full pickle.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, I love that.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
I started a series on my social media called the Pickled Porch, and I'm either getting drunk or I'm having a new pickle.
Pat Godwin
Love it.
Jess Hooker
And so I feature one of them.
Jeff Oskay
It's awesome.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. So. But I discovered stamies, Jalapeno dill pickles, and they are amazing. They're my new favorite pickles.
Bob Kevoian
Okay. Mine are boar's head horseradish pickles, and they're delightful.
Jess Hooker
Amazing.
Bob Kevoian
Amazing.
Pat Godwin
They got a dill base.
Bob Kevoian
It's an amazing pickle, I guess.
Larry Morgan
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
But it's sweet and they're spicy.
Christy Lee
But are they sliced or speared or halved or.
Bob Kevoian
Sliced? Yeah, Sliced in chunks.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yeah.
Jeff Oskay
What do you go with, Josh?
Christy Lee
Boy, I talk cheap over there.
Bob Kevoian
What do you have?
Christy Lee
Yeah, I like the. The Tony Pacos. Oh, yeah. Sweet and spicy pickle and pepper jar. That thing yeah, those.
Bob Kevoian
You got to drive to Toledo to get that.
Christy Lee
I have them. What I. What I do is my brothers get them for their birthdays because they absolutely love them. So I send them each six jars that. That's what comes in a case.
Bob Kevoian
Right.
Christy Lee
And I end up taking one when I visit.
Bob Kevoian
It's only fair.
Larry Morgan
Yes.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
And remember to reuse your pickle brine. Just chop up some, drop them in there.
Pat Godwin
That works.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, they're good the next day. Yeah.
Christy Lee
It's also full of electrolytes.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Not a dill pickle fan.
Christy Lee
I like the bread and butter, too, Christy.
Jess Hooker
I do love bread and butter, too.
Jeff Oskay
Will you do a pickle back always with Jameson. Oh, yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. At least for the first one for
Christy Lee
one of your porch shows. Oh, you might not be able to do this.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Because of copyright, but I'd like you to have a Nickelback pickleback where you listen to Nickelback while having a pickle back. Come on.
Pat Godwin
You got to do that.
Jess Hooker
Definitely do that. Well, I kind of like.
Bob Kevoian
And you should interview an NFL quarterback. You have the quarterback and the pickleback and Nickelback. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Well, I had pickle flavored beer on the one that I'm releasing today, and it's. Yeah, it's a sun.
Christy Lee
You got some of that?
Jess Hooker
Yeah. It's so good.
Christy Lee
Wow.
Jess Hooker
It's so good.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Pickle beer.
Jess Hooker
Pickle beer. Pickle brine.
Christy Lee
What position in football was or is the nickel back?
Bob Kevoian
The nickelback is an extra defensive back. And, okay, you're expecting pass, so you go to the nickel defense.
Christy Lee
And they still call it the nickelback.
Bob Kevoian
They call it the nickel.
Christy Lee
Yes, I did. I don't hear it much when I got. But yeah.
Pat Godwin
How about. How about the pickled egg? Are we fans of that in the old dive bars?
Christy Lee
I'm not.
Jess Hooker
I am. I just discovered it. I did the quail egg, actually.
Bob Kevoian
I found it.
Jess Hooker
Good.
Bob Kevoian
That's how you lose a bet in a bar. If you'll drink the pit.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Eat the pickled egg.
Christy Lee
Maybe I had a bad one. I also don't like the scotch egg.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, I love the scotch egg.
Christy Lee
I must have had a bad one of that, too. It.
Jim Rome
It.
Christy Lee
It was in Scotland, and it was a grocery store in a plastic thing.
Tom Griswold
Oh, no, no, no, Scott, Scotch aren't Scotch eggs right now.
Christy Lee
No, I know.
Jess Hooker
And they messed it up.
Christy Lee
I mean, it just wasn't. It must have been too commercialized.
Jess Hooker
I'll take you someplace and go.
Jeff Oskay
Okay.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. The scotch eggs I've had are. Are. Maybe they're American wrapped in sausage.
Jess Hooker
Deep fried.
Christy Lee
Yeah. So the one I had was one we'll take you.
Bob Kevoian
What's coming up in the news.
Tom Griswold
Well, coming up, we have our history lesson.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, yes, we do.
Tom Griswold

Tom Griswold
Hi there.
Bob Kevoian
Howdy Doody. There's. There's Pat Godwin.
Pat Godwin
Hey, Chick.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, man. There's Jess Hooker.
Jess Hooker
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
Hi. There's Josh Arnold.
Christy Lee
Close circuit to you, Chick McGee.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
What you just did.
Jess Hooker
She was beautiful.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Genius.
Jeff Oskay
Yep.
Bob Kevoian
Well, I'm.
Christy Lee
You're good?
Bob Kevoian
I'm okay. There's Jeff Osu. Thanks, buddy. I appreciate it. Time now for today in history. I think Chrissy has a little bit. I have a little bit.
Tom Griswold
Okay. Yeah, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
I'll do. Let's see. I'll see you. 1914.
Tom Griswold
1914. I have no idea.
Bob Kevoian
In 1914, what happened? World War I started.
Tom Griswold
O. I'm terrible at history.
Christy Lee
The great one, the great Great War.
Bob Kevoian
It's Austria, Hungary. There's a hyphen in there. I I guess that's what it. How it's printed. Declared war on Serbia. Oh, and those three. Austria, Hungary is now New Jersey, Delaware, and I think Serbia is Rhode Island. Isn't that interesting?
Christy Lee
Hungary. Hungary. It was known as Hungary, Austria, Hungary, and Serbia. And then the rest of the world. We did. We didn't all collectively go. Let them.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, yeah.
Bob Kevoian
You guys can let them fight it out.
Tom Griswold
On this date in 1900, Lewis Lassen created. What do you know?
Christy Lee
Lewis Lassen, 1900. I'm going to say the.
Bob Kevoian
The airbag.
Ally Breen
The.
Tom Griswold
The airbag.
Bob Kevoian
The underwire bra.
Christy Lee
You see, the problem with creating the airbag then was there were no cars. He knew he had something, right?
Bob Kevoian
He really did.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
If only somebody invented the car.
Tom Griswold
No, he created what some consider to be the first Amber.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
What did they do before then?
Tom Griswold
Nope, that's all I got.
Christy Lee
Do you think it happened in Hamburg?
Tom Griswold
Has to be right.
Pat Godwin
I know what it did.
Tom Griswold
I'll have to do some homework.
Christy Lee
I always like old guys who call them hamburger sandwiches.
Jess Hooker
Oh, the sandwich.
Christy Lee
I'm gonna try to keep that alive by starting it now. Hamburger sandwich.
Jeff Oskay
I got in an argument with my child the other day. She. We were gonna go to a sub place, and she goes, I don't want a sandwich. I go, what do you want? She goes, I want a burger. Okay. I go, a burger is a sandwich. She said, it's not a sandwich. It's a hamburger.
Tom Griswold
It's a sandwich. Hamburger is a sandwich.
Christy Lee
Okay, but. But you also know what she's arguing,
Tom Griswold
but on the menu, it's under sandwiches.
Bob Kevoian
Is hot dog a sandwich?
Tom Griswold
Yes.
Christy Lee
But if you go to a Subway, the thing is, you go to a Subway or a Jimmy John's or a sandwich shop, you probably can't get a hamburger.
Bob Kevoian
Exactly.
Christy Lee
That's what she.
Jess Hooker
And usually there's sandwiches and then there's hamburgers, Right?
Jeff Oskay
Oh, I was being difficult.
Bob Kevoian
I think. I think you were way in the wrong on this.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, okay. I'll be sure to apologize when I get home today.
Christy Lee
Please do. Jeff, will you go easier on those kids, please?
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Tom Griswold
While you guys are arguing over what is a sandwich, I found out that the hamburger was actually created in New Haven, Connecticut.
Pat Godwin
Well, how about that?
Tom Griswold
At least Lewis's lunch. That's what he called this place.
Bob Kevoian
Is this Lewis Lassen? That's the guy.
Tom Griswold
Mr. Lassen.
Larry Morgan
Okay.
Christy Lee
Well, thank you, Lewis.
Tom Griswold
And New Haven, Connecticut.
Bob Kevoian
New Haven, Connecticut.
Christy Lee
I think the man's a hero.
Bob Kevoian
So it wasn't. It wasn't Hamburg?
Jess Hooker
Well, it's. It came from the Hamburg Steak. So there's like. That was first and then evolved to that.
Bob Kevoian
I've never heard of the Hamburg steak.
Tom Griswold
I had neither.
Jess Hooker
Me neither.
Bob Kevoian
What cut of the cow was that?
Ally Breen
The.
Bob Kevoian
A loin, possibly.
Jess Hooker
And why is it.
Bob Kevoian
It's ground beef ass. And. Yeah, no, that's. That's what you call a cow with short legs. Ground beef. What are you gonna do about that? And here's a song for Pat guy about short cow.
Jeff Oskay
Do you remember the movie Night Patrol with the unknown comic?
Christy Lee
Yes.
Jeff Oskay
Wasn't that one of his jokes on there There?
Bob Kevoian
I. I don't.
Jeff Oskay
My other favorite one from that was what do you call a hundred cows Masturbating Beef stroke and all
Bob Kevoian
that movie
Christy Lee
is currently streaming on, I think Prime.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, really?
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
I have to watch it again.
Bob Kevoian
Isn't Zany in that?
Christy Lee
He's not that one.
Bob Kevoian
He's in a movie with the unknown.
Christy Lee
He's in.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Christy Lee
With Murray Langston and Linda Blair. I get what that's called.
Bob Kevoian
Something about bowling or something.
Christy Lee
He sent me a DVD of it.
Bob Kevoian
My God.
Christy Lee
So we could all screen it if we wanted to.
Jeff Oskay
It also has the great thing where the chef brings out the guy's soup and his thumb. The doctor told me to keep it warm.
Christy Lee
One of the main guys in Nitro Patrol is Pat Paulson.
Tom Griswold
Oh, my gosh. The only way I know about him is he always ran for president.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Electric pad is on screen. Yeah. Wow.
Tom Griswold
On this date in 1932, the first feature length zombie movie was released in the United States. Do you know what it was called?
Bob Kevoian
White. White Zombie.
Christy Lee
The cabinet of Dr. Caligari.
Bob Kevoian
No, it's called White Zombie.
Tom Griswold
Yes. It was called the White.
Christy Lee
I would argue that's not the first zombie movie. Sorry.
Tom Griswold
Oh, what was it?
Bob Kevoian
It's Caligari have a zombie.
Tom Griswold
It's his first feature length. Is your other zombie movie.
Christy Lee
I would say it's feature. Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
And it's.
Christy Lee
It features a somnambulist, which is where the word zombie. Well, it arguably comes from.
Pat Godwin
There.
Jess Hooker
There.
Pat Godwin
There are.
Christy Lee
This is way nerdy.
Tom Griswold
So what movie are you talking about?
Bob Kevoian
I have never.
Christy Lee
The cabinet of Dr. Kelly.
Bob Kevoian
I've never seen the Cabinet. What are you taking lessons from Tom?
Jess Hooker
First off, sorry.
Christy Lee
I'm surprised you don't need a second surgery after that sneeze.
Pat Godwin
Just sneezing and caught me by surprise.
Christy Lee
You had a sympathy sneeze?
Larry Morgan
I did.
Pat Godwin
Oh, man.
Tom Griswold
On this date in 1978, Animal House was released in theaters.
Pat Godwin
Yep.
Bob Kevoian
Animal House.
Christy Lee
Laugh free.
Jeff Oskay
Never seen it.
Christy Lee
You haven't?
Jeff Oskay
No.
Christy Lee
It's Real good.
Jeff Oskay
I haven't seen any of those 80s.
Christy Lee
Like, I love any of them.
Jeff Oskay
I haven't seen Revenge of the Nerds. I haven't seen Animal House or any of those.
Tom Griswold
Oh, my God.
Christy Lee
I'll happily have you over and we can.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, that's a fun movie.
Bob Kevoian
Take a walk through the 80s.
Christy Lee
They're both funny, dude.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Birthdays. Got any birthdays?
Bob Kevoian
I don't think I've seen Revenge of the Nerds. Or. Or maybe not many.
Tom Griswold
Is that the. We've got Bush one.
Christy Lee
Yeah. I love. And there are way funnier moments than that. That's just the one Tom glommed on to.
Tom Griswold
Yeah. Of course.
Bob Kevoian
In 19. On this day in 1984, the Los Angeles Summer Olympics officially opened. 14 Eastern Block countries, no K, led by the Soviet Union, boycotted the games. And we cleaned up.
Christy Lee
Yeah, we did.
Bob Kevoian
Remember that. Take that. Happy birthday to Beatrix potter.
Pat Godwin
Her.
Tom Griswold
Oh, Mrs. Potter.
Christy Lee
The rabbit.
Tom Griswold
Rabbit lady.
Christy Lee
I don't think I've ever read the Velveteen Rabbit.
Tom Griswold
Really?
Christy Lee
I know. I know the story, but she was born in 18. About a rabbit made out of cheese, right?
Bob Kevoian
66.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
No, that's the Velveeta rabbit.
Christy Lee
Oh,
Bob Kevoian
today's birthday, 1929. Go ahead, Jacqueline Candy Onassis was born.
Tom Griswold
Love that.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Tom Griswold
One of my favorite impressions.
Bob Kevoian
This isn't old. It's a Vernet.
Christy Lee
All right. Make me look like an.
Pat Godwin
I Love that impression.
Bob Kevoian
1954, Hugo Chavez.
Pat Godwin
Hey, you go.
Bob Kevoian
1958, Michael Hitchcock.
Christy Lee
He's great, isn't he?
Bob Kevoian
1945, Jim Davis, US. Mr. Garfield. Maybe you know him as Mr. Garfield.
Christy Lee
And I love those Garfield books.
Bob Kevoian
Let's see. 1969, Dana White was born. 1990, Soulja Boy was born.
Larry Morgan
Oh.
Jess Hooker
Oh, there you go.
Bob Kevoian
You remember Soul.
Christy Lee
Sure.
Bob Kevoian
Soldier boy, that lonely little.
Christy Lee
He did Superman.
Jess Hooker
Oh, no, that's a different Superman.
Christy Lee
Which, when I found out what that referred to.
Bob Kevoian
I don't know what.
Jess Hooker
Oh, no.
Pat Godwin
Guess I.
Jeff Oskay
Not on air.
Christy Lee
Wait until I could clean this up.
Bob Kevoian
Okay. Yeah.
Jess Hooker
So there's a dance that goes with it. Is that a part of it?
Jeff Oskay
No.
Christy Lee
Soulja Boy. The whole Superman thing is. Is it a sheet or a pillowcase?
Jeff Oskay
It's a sheet.
Christy Lee
Okay. Yeah. Yes. It's. When you. Let's say you're doing. You can both watch the hockey game.
Jess Hooker
Sure.
Bob Kevoian
Okay.
Jim Rome
And you.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
And you take the sheet and you finish.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Then you can put the sheet on her back and it stays like Superman's cape. Oh, I got you a little sticky.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah. When she gets out of bed to go to the bathroom.
Bob Kevoian
She's wearing a cape. And that was. And that was in the song.
Christy Lee
That's what the song is. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it doesn't spell it out quite like that, but. Well, I mean, you know, Soulja Boy, we hardly knew.
Jim Rome
Who knows where.
Bob Kevoian
Who knows where inspiration is going to come from.
Christy Lee
That's right, Soul Cha boy.
Bob Kevoian

Pat Godwin
So exciting.
Tom Griswold
That's coming up.
Bob Kevoian
And our streak continues. We've helped a total of no one with their relationship ships and we hope for that to continue.
Tom Griswold
And just so you're not confused, it is Tuesday.
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Not Wednesday.
Bob Kevoian
Normally it is Wednesday.
Christy Lee
It was like your trash day. Usually when Ali. Don't take it out.
Tom Griswold
Don't take it out. Exactly.
Bob Kevoian
Well, I mean, it can't throw your whole week off.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Christy Lee
You're gonna get raccoons.
Bob Kevoian
Well, you got them lids on there. You're not. Oh, this might be toothpick wisdom.
Christy Lee
I think we do have a little toothpick wisdom going on here. Yeah, we just wait for the appropriate.
Bob Kevoian
We don't have that.
Christy Lee
I believe it's on its way.
Bob Kevoian
Now. You've got it. That's right. Toothpick. A little toothpick wisdom.
Christy Lee
Bob and Tom Show.
Bob Kevoian
Let me tell you something. You will put your garbage out too soon. Here's what you're gonna have. You're gonna have raccoons. You'll be up to your neck and raccoons. But they're good eating.
Jeff Oskay
I bought a little toothpick wizard.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, we don't have an Bob and Tom show.
Tom Griswold
Arizona.
Bob Kevoian
This has been toothpick wisdom.
Tom Griswold
Arizona State University is now offering a content creation major.
Christy Lee
I don't blame them.
Tom Griswold
Tom would be out of his mind upset about this.
Christy Lee
I know. But guess what? He's been focused on the last month.
Jim Rome
Right.
Tom Griswold
The Bachelor of Arts program is designed to teach students. Students how to build an audience, market themselves, and grow a career as an influencer.
Pat Godwin
Why not? Absolutely.
Christy Lee
It's a new job. It is.
Tom Griswold
Sure it is. Coursework will emphasize content planning, video and podcast production, global perspectives, and personal branding. If I were younger, I would be taking this for sure.
Jessica Alsman
It actually works for multiple things if you need a branded business or go out and do sales.
Tom Griswold
The program's final project requires students to choose a social media platform where they will develop a growth strategy, create content, and gain followers throughout the semester. I wonder if they get their grade based on how many followers they get.
Jim Rome
Wow.
Christy Lee
I don't know.
Jessica Alsman
Because the hot girl is probably going to get more followers than the Ugos.
Pat Godwin
Yeah, no one wants the Ugos.
Bob Kevoian
Sex sells. It's never changed.
Tom Griswold
Well, that's true.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, it's true.
Tom Griswold
Cbs. I'm sorry.
Christy Lee
World's oldest profession there.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Content creator.
Bob Kevoian
I thought it was bakery.
Tom Griswold
CBS News reports scientists say a meteorite that crashed into a New Jersey home in 2024. A meteorite contains what scientists are calling alien world chemistry.
Christy Lee
What is this now?
Tom Griswold
The study found evidence the meteorite once contained highly concentrated salty water or brine.
Christy Lee
What?
Tom Griswold
Supporting the idea? Asteroids like this may have delivered some of the chemical building blocks needed for life on Earth.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Jess Hooker
Right.
Tom Griswold
Which means out there somewhere.
Christy Lee
Somewhere.
Bob Kevoian
I read online. I don't know if I got this right, but I'm pretty. I read it like three times. There are. There are more planets in the universe than there are grains of sand on Earth.
Christy Lee
Wow. Isn't that amazing?
Tom Griswold
That is amazing.
Bob Kevoian
That's nuts, right? You know how many grains of sand there are?
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, but you look up, you go out into the country, you look up stores for dinner days, and some of
Jessica Alsman
them don't exist anymore.
Tom Griswold
Already burned out.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
If you're.
Bob Kevoian
See. If you're seeing them, they're gone and new ones are coming back.
Jeff Oskay
That's crazy.
Bob Kevoian
That's nuts, man.
Tom Griswold
It's hard to think about that, isn't it?
Bob Kevoian
Makes you. It makes you think, doesn't it? Makes you think. You know, Josh and I were out there by our garbage cans, looking up at the sky, feeding the raccoon than we thought. How many planets are there up there?
Christy Lee
And you know what I said?
Bob Kevoian
I do say too many to count. This has Been too.
Tom Griswold
Christy, the owner of a two Michelin starred restaurant in South Korea could go to jail over a dessert topped with ants.
Christy Lee
Really?
Tom Griswold
Prosecutors say the chef violated food safety law laws by serving ants that are not approved for human consumption.
Christy Lee
Is this a n T or a u N T?
Tom Griswold
This is a. Ah. So I want to know what ants are approved for human consumption.
Bob Kevoian
Wasn't there naughty movies when I was. It was Aunt Peg when I was a maybe.
Jeff Oskay
I don't.
Christy Lee
I'm not aware.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, some guy's hot aunt or something. Her name was Aunt Peg and some guy's hot ants.
Tom Griswold
The investigation.
Bob Kevoian
Babysit
Tom Griswold
porn.
Pat Godwin
You're gonna get some weird stuff going up.
Tom Griswold
Investigation.
Bob Kevoian
Say goodbye to your phone. Okay.
Tom Griswold
The investigation began after officials spotted photos of the unusual dessert on blogs and social media. It's located in Seoul's upscale Gangam district. Gangam Style Gangnam Style reportedly served ant sprinkled sorbet to customers who requested the flavor. What do ants taste like?
Jeff Oskay
Fire ant.
Jessica Alsman
Have you ever seen the red ants like or smelled them? They actually smell like ivory soap.
Jeff Oskay
Huh.
Tom Griswold
I did not know.
Jeff Oskay
Weird.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Restaurant had been using the garnish for four years before authorities stepped in and stopped it.
Jeff Oskay
Why are you sniffing ants?
Jessica Alsman
You know, it's one of those things my dad told us and then we had to test it and it's like,
Tom Griswold
how about that, huh?
Jeff Oskay
I never knew.
Jessica Alsman
But are the ants alive?
Bob Kevoian
Do you have a follow up on Ant Peter?
Christy Lee
So much there. I mean there's a. Apparently Aunt Peg was played by somebody named Juliet Anderson.
Bob Kevoian
Yes, yes.
Christy Lee
And very sweet.
Bob Kevoian
Is she pretty as I recall, in
Christy Lee
that 70s, pointy boobed? Sort of. Yeah. And I mean you can find all her videos all over.
Bob Kevoian
No kidding.
Christy Lee
Vintage Aunt Peg, classic Aunt Peg porn and retro videos.
Bob Kevoian
Oh yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Do you have any titles?
Christy Lee
I have some names of the tube sites where she's available. I wank tube porn classic. And this is my favorite. How do I say this? It starts with a C and it has to do with male
Jeff Oskay
DNA.
Bob Kevoian
Right.
Christy Lee
Gum Cummings.
Jessica Alsman
See?
Pat Godwin
Guru.
Christy Lee
He's a guru.
Bob Kevoian
He's a guru. I'm not a doctor. I'm a guru.
Christy Lee
Wow.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Aunt Peg.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Good for aunt.
Bob Kevoian
I don't know why I remembered that.
Christy Lee
Now do you remember if the guy whose aunt it is, if he's dismayed by her behavior or intrigued? I'm so tired. All I want to do is have dinner with my aunt. But she's always out banging somebody.
Bob Kevoian
I think it built up to of him and his aunt, I think.
Christy Lee
Oh gosh.
Bob Kevoian
All right. Yeah. Yeah, that was the storyline as I.
Tom Griswold
UK police were called to investigate after children's paper sculptures were found to have been constructed from the pages of an explicit novel. I don't know if Aunt Peg was
Christy Lee
mentioned in it, but 50 shades of origami, I guess.
Tom Griswold
According to the Guardian, an older man had been handing out googly eyed paper hedgehogs made from donated books to raise money for charity.
Christy Lee
This guy didn't know.
Tom Griswold
On closer inspection, some parents were shocked to discover that their children's hedgehogs contained text from an erotic novel. After being notified, the police in Merseyside spoke with the man who was reportedly mortified by the mistake. Yeah, he had no malice and there was no that.
Bob Kevoian
Googly eyes is from everything everywhere all at once or something. Put googly eyes on rocks. Yeah, whatever the hell it was.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, googly eyes. Googly eyes.
Bob Kevoian
Supposed to be a big time message, I guess, or something. I don't.
Tom Griswold
You want to play a song? Maybe you have a song for this story, Pat?
Pat Godwin
What is it?
Tom Griswold
A man posing as a commercial airline pilot caught trying to smuggle 22 pounds of cocaine through a Colombian airport. The man was traveling to Barcelona when officials at El Dorado International Airlines Airport noticed his ill fitting uniform.
Bob Kevoian
El Dorado.
Tom Griswold
Not only was the man's build larger than the size of his uniform, but some accessories did not match those used by a real commercial pilot. A search revealed narcotics strapped to his body. He was charged with drug trafficking and manufacturing or possession of narcotics.
Bob Kevoian
I like to think where his wings were, he had a little propeller just spin up.
Jeff Oskay
Or it's the wings they give the little kids when they get on the plane.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, I'm a pilot.
Jeff Oskay
I love that.
Bob Kevoian
Coke on the plane.
Pat Godwin
Well, I should have coke on the plane, but I don't because I had a lot of work to do this morning. It's my first day playing. How to play. A lot a lot of excuses are
Bob Kevoian
going on right now.
Pat Godwin
My lack of work ethic and. But I do have coke in the boat. Obviously the original, but we've all heard that. Maybe you don't need to hear that.
Christy Lee
But I'd love to do it if you do.
Pat Godwin
You want to hear Coke in the boat?
Bob Kevoian
Who doesn't?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Pat Godwin
Darn it.
Christy Lee
Let's do it.
Tom Griswold
It's been a long time.
Bob Kevoian
It's your big hit. People love this.
Pat Godwin
This is a hard one. No, I got it.
Jess Hooker
Yeah,
Jeff Oskay
Playing it.
Christy Lee
He's playing it.
Bob Kevoian
He playing it. I love this guy.
Christy Lee
Well, I'd like to know where you
Pat Godwin
got the cookie on the boat. Yeah, we like to know where you got the cookie.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, it's in the boat.
Pat Godwin
Coconut boat. Coconut boat, maybe.
Bob Kevoian
Coconut boat.
Pat Godwin
Look, the boat.
Jessica Alsman
Oh, my.
Larry Morgan
Coconut.
Pat Godwin
Coconut boat maybe. Coke cannot boat.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
Coast Guard's watching you. When will you learn? Drug boats drag a little in the stern. Tourists found a stash in the Keys. Border Patrol makes these waters drug free. It's cooking the hole. So please, please explain. Someone has to answer for this cocaine.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Pat Godwin
We like to know when you got the cocaine. I would like to know where you're taking the cocaine.
Tom Griswold
Come on now.
Christy Lee
Oh, my gosh.
Pat Godwin
That was such great team play.
Christy Lee
Where would the cocaine be if somebody were smuggling it? In their rear end.
Pat Godwin
Coconut pie.
Ally Breen
Butt.
Tom Griswold
Coconut butt.
Christy Lee
That went better than I ever thought it could.
Bob Kevoian
Coconut butt. You know, it's time to get away. The Hyundai getaway sales event.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, you know, and what's gotten away is the copy for the getaways.
Bob Kevoian
Monday, Tuesday, Hyundai. Well, you can verify all this, right?
Tom Griswold
I can. I can remember it right now.
Bob Kevoian

Tom Griswold
Yes, there are outstanding SUVs like the Santa Fe. The Santa Fe hybrid. The Tucson. The Tucson hybrid. Don't forget, if you're a sedan lover, they have the Elantra loaded with the latest in technology.
Bob Kevoian
Exactly right.
Tom Griswold

We're back in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show. There's Christy Lee at the news desk. Hello, there's Jess Hooker. Hello, there's Jessica.
Jessica Alsman
Hi.
Bob Kevoian
There's Josh Arnold.
Christy Lee
Hi there.
Bob Kevoian
I feel like we're outnumbered, man. There's Ace Cosby.
Tom Griswold
You are about to be. As soon as we bring up Ally.
Bob Kevoian
There's Jeff Os.
Christy Lee
I think that's kind of the key here.
Ally Breen
The.
Christy Lee
The idea chick.
Bob Kevoian
McGee and Ally should be. There she is. Hi, Ally. Hello, Ally.
Tom Griswold
She's in the uk.
Ally Breen
I'm in the uk. Yep.
Jessica Alsman
Fancy stove.
Bob Kevoian
What is it like two o' clock there? Three thirty, quarter to nine. What is it?
Ally Breen
Two o'?
Tom Griswold
Clock?
Ally Breen
You got it first.
Bob Kevoian
Two o'. Clock. Okay, well.
Ally Breen
Two twenty. Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Two twenty. Isn't that exactly. Isn't that odd? Josh different times in different places and it's completely unnecessary. Okay.
Ally Breen
The same time, everywhere, all the time.
Christy Lee
That's right.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Tom Griswold
Well, you got letters for us.
Bob Kevoian
Ally. Ally, Ali Hooker. Yeah. Okay, here we go. Yeah, it's. It's a ladies day here. Maybe we can. Maybe we can turn our streak around.
Christy Lee
I think the people demanded more. More female. Female energy. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Oh, you think?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Good.
Ally Breen
Perfect.
Christy Lee
Are you being a smart ass?
Bob Kevoian
Hey, Christie's being a smart ass. I'm not picking up on cues. I don't know what the hell's going on around. Go ahead, darling.
Ally Breen
Dear Ally, my boyfriend is a mommy's boy and his mom does everything for him. When anything goes wrong or he needs anything, he calls his mom. And it's annoying for two weeks reasons. It takes away his masculinity and it makes me worried that I'm gonna have to do everything for him if we end up getting married. Do I bring it up or just ride this out?
Tom Griswold
Well, it's not gonna change.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I think this is if you. This is how he is.
Bob Kevoian
That sounds like a. Sounds like a deal breaker to me.
Tom Griswold
And she will be a part of your life the whole way forward as
Bob Kevoian
long as she aligned.
Jessica Alsman
Like maybe she'll do stuff for you though. Can you take advantage of it and become like mommy's girl?
Jess Hooker
Girl? Yeah.
Jessica Alsman
You need some help?
Christy Lee
This is a letter. She cannot respond to questions we have.
Jess Hooker
You're such a gig
Bob Kevoian
boy.
Tom Griswold
You better hope his mom likes you.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I get the impression he's not. He's.
Jess Hooker
He's.
Christy Lee
Cuz she's worried that he's. She's gonna have to take care of him.
Jessica Alsman
Ew.
Christy Lee
Yeah, that is ew, isn't it?
Jess Hooker
It is ew.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I don't have boys. You're the one that can.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah.
Jess Hooker
It's different, definitely. They just gravitate. The family usually gravitates towards the girl's family.
Ally Breen
Right?
Jess Hooker
Like that's like that's natural. And so to be a boy mom and to, to. To be second tier, essentially, like that's. So if she's playing this role in your relationship already, you're screwed. Like it's.
Ally Breen
Yeah, I.
Jess Hooker
Get out. Get out now.
Ally Breen
Now.
Jessica Alsman
I want to know what she's doing for him, I guess.
Ally Breen
But I think Jez, I think he might be like the girlfriend might be worried the mom and the boyfriend will gang up on her as opposed to the mom doing stuff for her. Like if they get to a fight and she calls the. He calls the mom.
Tom Griswold
Oh, she's gonna side with her son
Bob Kevoian
always.
Jessica Alsman
She's not in the relationship, though. She doesn't get a say.
Tom Griswold
Oh, yes, she is with the mama's boy.
Jess Hooker
It kind of cheats with that territory.
Jessica Alsman
Better start helping pay for rent or something. If she wants to shove her foot, it's weird.
Jess Hooker
That's tough, though, because I've. I found where I'll talk to my son about something, and I'm like, hey, you and I never had this conversation. Go talk to your girlfriend. I was like, if you have any questions, I'll help you, but you have to choose her first. Like, she's a number one priority now. Oh, yeah. Like mom's second fiddle. Yeah.
Ally Breen
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
That's a part of letting go. You got to cut the apron strand.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, they don't all do that.
Jess Hooker
No, they don't.
Jessica Alsman
I was hearing my calling mom, what am I allergic to? Mom, will you cut my steak?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, stuff like that.
Jessica Alsman
It's creepy.
Bob Kevoian
I'd like to have somebody cut my steak. That'd be cool. Yeah. Okay. As Tom would say. Next.
Ally Breen
Next. Dear Ally, my boyfriend's ex cheated on him, and he basically said she's been dead to him ever since. Since he says he's never looked her up on social media or even thought about her since the breakup. I saw over his shoulder the other day when he was looking up something on Instagram that she was actually on his top search. I kept it to myself, but. Do you think this is a pretty serious red flag? I know if I bring it up to him, I'll probably sound crazy, but I think he went out of his way to tell me he doesn't look her up, and he does, which is a problem.
Tom Griswold
Why is it a problem?
Ally Breen
Well, because he lied about it.
Christy Lee
If he had not been anything, he would have been better off. Maybe he.
Jeff Oskay
At the time, he hadn't looked her up. And then when she brought her up to him, then he started thinking, oh, yeah, I wonder what she is up to.
Jess Hooker
Interest.
Christy Lee
Yes, there is a chance.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
So.
Christy Lee
So I say ask him.
Bob Kevoian
But. But which is worse? Him looking up her, his old girlfriend, or her searching his Instagram?
Jess Hooker
She saw it over shoulder.
Christy Lee
This just wasn't. Yeah, so that's. I mean, he was on Instagram. She saw what he was, or the
Tom Griswold
fact that he lied?
Jess Hooker
So have you searched an ex just out of curiosity? Like. Like, obviously you're not gonna act on it any more than just looking, Right? Like, how hot's his wife? How many kids does he have? Stuff like that?
Christy Lee
Yeah, I think you could easily. Or you should just ask him. Go. Hey, you know what? I wasn't trying to look, but I saw over your shoulder that you had searched her.
Tom Griswold
How's she doing?
Jessica Alsman
Yeah. Plus, one of his friends might have been like, hey, look how fat she got. And he's like, oh, I have to see this.
Larry Morgan
Right?
Jess Hooker
That's true, too. Yeah.
Jessica Alsman
Or now he's bald.
Jess Hooker
Go look. Yeah.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Or maybe just.
Ally Breen
It's funny. I wouldn't believe anyone who said they've never thought about or looked up their ex.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I wouldn't. I wouldn't believe that either. Yeah, I'm with you, too.
Ally Breen
Easy to do now.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, that's for sure.
Ally Breen
Although I did actually do the road with. You guys know and love him, Nick Griffin, years ago. And he said after his divorce, he never, never, ever checked up or looked or thought about his ex. And I do believe him.
Jess Hooker
I do believe him, too.
Bob Kevoian
I believe. Yeah, I believe Nick.
Tom Griswold
I do know people like that.
Christy Lee
I have exes.
Bob Kevoian
I've never once.
Ally Breen
It's done. It's done for him.
Christy Lee
I have a number of exes I've never looked up.
Bob Kevoian
No kidding.
Christy Lee
Now, it doesn't mean that I haven't thought, oh, I wonder what they're up to. But in a way of like, I kind of, you know, I hope they're fine or doing well, but I've never.
Jess Hooker
I had a crush on a boy named George in fifth grade, and I looked him up because I was like, he looked really cute in fifth grade. I wonder what he looks like now.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah.
Jess Hooker
Yeah.
Christy Lee
What was the verdict?
Jess Hooker
I couldn't find him.
Christy Lee
Oh, okay.
Jess Hooker
George Central Elementary School, where are you?
Bob Kevoian
Jorge?
Ally Breen
Now he'll pop up for sure.
Jessica Alsman
Right?
Tom Griswold
Next.
Jess Hooker
Okay, there you go.
Ally Breen
Dear Ally, I started dating my boyfriend pretty quickly after his divorce. It's been going well for six months, but he's afraid to introduce me to any of his family because they all really liked his ex and thought that they both needed more time before they should date other people. I don't know why they're determining that for his ex, too. Do you guys agree or disagree?
Tom Griswold
I wouldn't push that. Just take your time.
Ally Breen
Yeah, yeah.
Tom Griswold
Because everybody's got a different.
Bob Kevoian
There's no hard and fast rule.
Tom Griswold
Grief. Grief period, if you will. Yeah, yeah.
Christy Lee
Do your new person a favor, please, by not.
Tom Griswold
Well, first of all, you don't have to deal with this family. I mean, you should be grateful on this. Yeah, But. Yeah, just give it some time.
Jess Hooker
But I think it should be like, aa, like, for one year. You don't. You don't date anybody. You just.
Christy Lee
Or you keep it. Oh, I see what you're saying.
Jess Hooker
Yeah. For one year, there's no dating anybody. There's no relationships, there's no sex. You just work on you.
Ally Breen
No way.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, I just got divorced. I'm gonna have sex.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, but you're not gonna get engaged
Jessica Alsman
to the next chef that you did.
Bob Kevoian
But you like, get physically ill if you don't have sex on a regular basis.
Jeff Oskay
That's right.
Bob Kevoian
That's right.
Tom Griswold
Don't all men get that way? That's what I've been.
Christy Lee
Are you a serial monogamist or.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, yeah.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Jeff Oskay
I don't know what that means, but sure.
Christy Lee
It means you only eat cereal alone. Yeah. When you got out of one relationship, you wanted to quickly get into another one.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, no, but with me, like, like I don't hook up. Like, like a girl likes me. Like, it's taken some time to like, win her over.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
Like years. So if there is a thing, it's usually gets pretty quick. Oh, God, you know what I mean? Like it turns into a relationship.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
It's really boring.
Ally Breen
What's the thing where people just sleep with someone immediately? What's that called? Like a rebound? The rebound thing. Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
I tried. I tried. Like I wanted to have rebound sex, but you gotta have somebody else who wants to help you out.
Tom Griswold
Being drunk on a Saturday?
Christy Lee
Yeah,
Bob Kevoian
I'm drunk and horny.
Ally Breen
Okay. Dear Ally, my boyfriend smells down there. And when I complain and tell him to shower, he says I'm ruining the romance.
Christy Lee
Nope.
Ally Breen
I said he needs to make sure that he's not smelly when we're hooking up. Then once again, it would take the spontaneity out of it. But what I meant was, shouldn't you just be clean down there regularly? Yeah, I'm talking to a five year old.
Tom Griswold
Exactly.
Jess Hooker
Some boys don't ever learn to wash. This is a real thing.
Tom Griswold
I'm not kidding.
Jess Hooker
It is insane. And I'm learning this from my single friends. I've heard horror stories that they are like, well, I wash my hair and the shampoo runs my debt down my back and down my butt crack.
Tom Griswold
So I washed.
Jess Hooker
And it's like, no, no, no, no. We need cloth to cheeks spread and you have got to wash that.
Bob Kevoian
But there's.
Jess Hooker
Ali, am I wrong? Have you had. I mean, it is. There are men who just flat do not wash down.
Christy Lee
It is kind of an unfair.
Ally Breen
So totally. They think the soap just gets everywhere automatically. It's like, you got a scrub. My God.
Christy Lee
I don't get why.
Tom Griswold
I don't understand that.
Christy Lee
As soon as the girl said, hey, I. I don't. I'm not enjoying the smell down there. I'm not gonna do anything until you wash. I'm immediately. Wash away. What are you talking about?
Jessica Alsman
He's a narcissist. Get down there, girl.
Tom Griswold
Enjoy it. That's probably true, too.
Jessica Alsman
Serving you down.
Ally Breen
That probably is. Right. Because who would fight against that? Like, that's a crazy thing to push back on if someone's telling you that you smell.
Jess Hooker
Exactly. And wouldn't you be so embarrassed?
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Ally Breen
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
I'd never get over it.
Tom Griswold
Why wouldn't she just. There are a lot of fish in the sea. Go find another one that doesn't. It doesn't smell.
Jess Hooker
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
You don't want a stinky fish.
Tom Griswold
No, you don't.
Christy Lee
No, you don't.
Tom Griswold
No stinky fish.
Jeff Oskay
You want a blowfish.
Bob Kevoian
Just a quick blowfish every now and then. Right?
Christy Lee
Yeah. This guy's an idiot. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Get rid of him.
Ally Breen
Yeah. If he's pushing back on that, that's insane.
Bob Kevoian
Let him put his stink somewhere else.
Christy Lee
Yeah. Kick pig pen to the skirt.
Jeff Oskay
The curve.
Larry Morgan
That's right.
Bob Kevoian
Damn right.
Ally Breen
Dear Allie, my wife's parents are staying with us for a month and she refuses to have sex while we're in the same house. I understand that. Does this make sense to anyone? It's not like I can't be quiet.
Tom Griswold
No, it makes total sense to me. I would be the exact same one.
Bob Kevoian
No kidding.
Tom Griswold
Really?
Ally Breen
Really? Yes.
Jess Hooker
Oh, no.
Tom Griswold
I don't know how. I mean, if I had stayed married, I don't know how we would have ever had sex once the kids were over eight. I mean, knowing what's going on. I don't know. I would be too embarrassed. No, there's no way. Yeah.
Jessica Alsman
Nothing dries you up faster than knowing Daddy's down the hall.
Tom Griswold
Right, Exactly.
Jess Hooker
Thank.
Christy Lee
There you go. That's some toothpick wisdom for you.
Bob Kevoian
That's something.
Christy Lee
Boy, oh, boy.
Tom Griswold
She's absolutely right. Come on.
Ally Breen
Well, who knows? It's exciting to some people. Some people are like, ooh, Daddy's down. Let's relive our high school days.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I've had. I've been in relationships where it was both.
Jeff Oskay
It was.
Christy Lee
Hey, this will be fun. We gotta stay as quiet as possible. And also, don't come near
Bob Kevoian
because Daddy's down the hall.
Christy Lee
I guess I get that. I never argued with. Hey, we're not doing it while my. While we're staying in my parents.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah, fine.
Ally Breen
Yeah, well, this Is a month, though. A month.
Christy Lee
I know.
Tom Griswold
Go get a hotel room for an hour.
Christy Lee
You know, I mean, that's the thing. You could find a fun way to get creative. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jessica Alsman
You could handle yourself in the shower, can't you? For a month, you'll be okay and survive.
Christy Lee
Oh, I see. So it's not okay to have sex when her parents are there, but he can go into the shower and crank one off?
Tom Griswold
Absolutely.
Jessica Alsman
As long as the water is running
Bob Kevoian
and it washes away all the nastiness and the sin. Yes, he's stained now. Oh, no.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah. Oh, wait a minute. Ally. Wait a minute. Here we go. Ready?
Pat Godwin
Next.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, that's actually.
Christy Lee
You know what I'm gonna ask. We don't.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah.
Christy Lee
That was like when you're alarm you and you're watching a movie and the alarm goes off and you. It feels like yours.
Bob Kevoian
That was almost frightening.
Christy Lee
Hated.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, okay.
Ally Breen
Dear Ally, I'm engaged, and at my boyfriend's bachelor party, which was supposed to be one night, a bunch of girls showed up and it lasted for a whole weekend of him and his friends partying.
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Ally Breen
And he says I'm overreacting, but am I? This seems crazy.
Tom Griswold
No, you're not overreacting. That's ridiculous.
Jess Hooker
But it's the friends. It's not him. I guarantee his idiot friends invited these girls.
Tom Griswold
It doesn't matter. He should have put his foot down. That is not appropriate.
Ally Breen
Or at least left his own back.
Jess Hooker
That's crazy. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
God. Yeah. You just go, dudes, this is.
Bob Kevoian
Oh, you guys just don't know how to party. Am I right?
Jess Hooker
What would you do? Would you guys leave? Would you leave your own bachelor party if that was the case?
Larry Morgan
Case.
Jess Hooker
If you knew you there would be hell to pay for a bunch of girls.
Ally Breen
Yeah, I mean, I would.
Christy Lee
If I were, I think I would have said, hey, you guys, I wouldn't have leave. I'd go, they need to get out of here. Or you guys, if you want to party with them, go do your thing.
Jessica Alsman
Right?
Ally Breen
But it sounds like he didn't want to leave either. It sounds like he was all on board with.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah, they would have made fun of him for being, like, whipped and all that stuff. Probably.
Christy Lee
That's you. You get over that real quickly as a guy. At least I do. Don't you? Yeah. Say whatever you want.
Ally Breen
Your fiance canceling the wedding
Christy Lee
now I say do give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't do anything. You gotta. And I know, Christy, you hate all men cheat, but every one of them
Jessica Alsman
can you see all the girls in attendance?
Ally Breen
Situation is set up just for that. It's supposed to be like the last night of freedom, get all the strippers here.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I know.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, but you're not really going to do that, are you?
Christy Lee
What?
Ally Breen
Well, when it lasts three days, when it's supposed to be one, it seems like someone's probably hooking up, man. Hopefully it's just the friends.
Christy Lee
Yeah, but the friends can hook up if they want.
Jess Hooker
Yeah, yeah, but what are the days of, like, it's one night. There's usually. There's beer, there's poker, there's probably a stripper, and then it's over.
Christy Lee
I think for the most part, that's it still. That's how it was when I went to bachelor parties.
Larry Morgan
Okay.
Jess Hooker
But now it's like, hey, we're going.
Jeff Oskay
Oh, yeah, we're going to Vegas for four days and it's a blowout.
Tom Griswold
It sucks.
Bob Kevoian
We're not leaving until somebody gets arrested.
Christy Lee
Yeah, those aren't. That's not the best. Those aren't fun. Or I guess maybe they are. I don't know.
Tom Griswold
That's the hangover.
Ally Breen
Fun for someone, I guess, is his
Jessica Alsman
friends using him as an excuse to basically party, too, to get out of the house if they have girlfriends or wives.
Christy Lee
Always the friends. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
The friends who are married, who are tired of being married.
Ally Breen
That's who's like, this is my big chance.
Bob Kevoian
They. They are the worst.
Christy Lee
They are the worst.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
I'm sorry.
Jessica Alsman
I.
Tom Griswold
Like, I'd be really upset if. Three days with a bunch of girls there. Yeah, that's.
Ally Breen
That's problematic the whole time. Yeah.
Tom Griswold
That's too much. Yeah.
Jessica Alsman
Yeah. You want to know who the girls are. Like, is it his ex girlfriend plus who blabbed?
Christy Lee
Oh, yeah.
Jess Hooker
Or who posted pictures?
Christy Lee
Exactly. What are you doing?
Ally Breen
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Jeff Oskay
He needs better friends.
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Christy Lee
Nothing happened, but you still posted a picture. Had a great time with these girls for two days. What are you.
Jess Hooker
Wow.
Tom Griswold
We solved a bunch of problems today, didn't we, Ally?
Bob Kevoian
Thank you, Ali. Are you on stage in the UK this weekend somewhere?
Ally Breen
I am. I'm gonna be at Top Secret, but they didn't give me the day yet. They tested me.
Jessica Alsman
That's awesome.
Ally Breen
My Instagram, if anyone's out in that area.
Tom Griswold
Hope you didn't have dinner plans.
Ally Breen
I know exactly. Yeah. It's very odd, their system.
Bob Kevoian
All right, thanks, Ally.
Tom Griswold
Thanks, Ally. And where can we reach Ally? That's Ally. Ally. A, L, L, I, E. No E.
Bob Kevoian
No E. I can't
Ally Breen
see.
Tom Griswold
We need to talk Everybody all at once.
Bob Kevoian
Next. Well, that is like a. I swear
Christy Lee
to God, it immediately puts me in a terrible mood.
Jess Hooker
It hits me right under the belly button.
Christy Lee
Yeah, just. I hate it.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, here's something. When you speed while driving, you have less time to react. You know this. A sharp turn could take you by surprise. You veer off the road, another car could pop out, a truck could break. Suddenly, a cyclist could enter the road ahead and a pedestrian might be walking their dog. And your foot on the gas might lead to a tragedy. You may not think any of that. These things could happen to you, but you won't see them coming until they happen and it's too late. When you're speeding, you don't have time to. Course correct. You don't have time to stop. And it only takes an instant for disaster. The speed limit isn't just there to protect you. It's there to protect your passengers, other drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, and everyone sharing the road. So slow down, obey the law and help keep everyone around you safe. Speeding does catch up with with you. Paid for by NHTSA. We'll be right back in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.

Bob Kevoian

Christy Lee

Jess Hooker
Hi.
Tom Griswold
Very demure.
Jeff Oskay
Yes.
Bob Kevoian
Cosby.
Jeff Oskay
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
Jeff Oskay.
Jeff Oskay
Hello.
Bob Kevoian
I'm Chick McGee and I think. Do we have any Via Condios News. See you later.
Tom Griswold
Two humanoid ropes robots have gotten married.
Christy Lee
All right.
Bob Kevoian
Well, now it's about time those kids made that girl legal. What? No.
Tom Griswold
The robots exchanged vows written by artificial intelligence, of course, at Moscow's Pushkin Library.
Bob Kevoian
Pushkin. This is what it all starts with.
Tom Griswold
Russian accent Russia's first robot wedding was staged to raise awareness of the nation's humanoid robot efforts.
Bob Kevoian
You know all Pushkin's pink on the inside. You remember Sweet, sweet Pushkin. Sweet, sweet.
Tom Griswold
They do not have Russian names.
Bob Kevoian
No.
Tom Griswold
The two robots named Robert and Matilda, Bob and Tilly. Yeah.
Bob Kevoian
That's not awesome.
Larry Morgan
No.
Tom Griswold
We're constructed by the Russian company IT Imperial. Yes.
Pat Godwin
Yes.
Tom Griswold
Best of luck to the couple.
Bob Kevoian
What if it's It Imperial?
Pat Godwin
It's just Pronounced either. Eat.
Tom Griswold
Eat. I wonder if they had a. Oh, there they are. All dressed in.
Jessica Alsman
So creepy.
Christy Lee
What a beautiful. That is absurd.
Bob Kevoian
What is it? Congratulations. Best wishes for the bride. Congratulations to the girl.
Tom Griswold
I wonder if they had a honeymoon.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, yeah. They're very definite. You're supposed to. Yeah, you don't say congratulations to the bride. That implies she landed him. It's very rude.
Tom Griswold
Is that true?
Bob Kevoian
That's absolutely true. Wow, look at the up.
Tom Griswold
Oh, I believe you. I knew there was one or the other.
Bob Kevoian
Think of me as Mr. Manners. Who do you know that has better manners than me?
Tom Griswold
Everyone.
Bob Kevoian
Yes, but other than that. That's exactly the right answer.
Christy Lee
Can you say. You can say congratulations to him, though?
Bob Kevoian
Yes.
Christy Lee
Okay.
Tom Griswold
And best wishes to the bride.
Christy Lee
Best wishes.
Bob Kevoian
The dirty hole.
Tom Griswold
See, that's how I remember it. Bride best. Bb.
Christy Lee
What about when the bride is walking down the aisle? Is it okay to yell? Get that thickness.
Bob Kevoian
Here comes the bride. All dressed in pink.
Pat Godwin
What's going on?
Bob Kevoian
That's a Russian guy. Lets out some stink, right?
Pat Godwin
Yeah, sure. That's where you got to go with that, right?
Tom Griswold
Speaking of weddings. Okay, the GLP1 craze is now affecting the wedding dress industry. According to a survey from the wedding planning platform Zola, 10% of engaged couples say they plan to use GLP1s to slim down down for the big day.
Jeff Oskay
Oh.
Tom Griswold
And according to the Guardian, brides taking drugs like Ozempic have left designers scrambling to accommodate their clients. Rapid weight loss. Some smaller businesses have had to adapt by asking brides to give them a guarantee that they will pay for the dress whether it fits on their wedding day or not.
Jessica Alsman
Wow.
Bob Kevoian
Well, that doesn't seem like something they could enforce.
Christy Lee
Of course, that can be enforced.
Tom Griswold
Yeah, I would think.
Bob Kevoian
Think, really?
Christy Lee
If you buy a shirt at a store and then you lose weight, you can't go back to the store and go, hey, I knew I want my money back.
Bob Kevoian
No, you can't. No, no, you can. I've done it many times.
Pat Godwin
Oh.
Jessica Alsman
I paid for a bridesmaid's dress that I'm pretty sure they didn't even alter. And they just said they did, but I was too afraid to say anything because it was still way too long and way too big in the chest. So it dropped during the ceremony. I literally was walking and I saw. Stepped on the dress and it started because it was like a strapless and started to come down right in front of the father.
Christy Lee
Oh, yes.
Tom Griswold
Y.
Jessica Alsman
Do a little wiggle. Pull up.
Tom Griswold
It was weird. A Pennsylvania Burrows land ordinance has forced an Unidentified resident to give up her six emotional support chickens.
Bob Kevoian
I didn't know Pennsylvania had burrows.
Jess Hooker
Apparently.
Bob Kevoian
Is that right?
Pat Godwin
Not pronounced like that.
Tom Griswold
Oh, well, how do they say it?
Pat Godwin
They don't say barrels.
Tom Griswold
I said boros.
Pat Godwin
You said I'm not. You went.
Tom Griswold
I'm not Irish or Scottish. What's wrong?
Christy Lee
Why did you go brag.
Pat Godwin
You said Pennsylvania Booze.
Tom Griswold
Why you guys all kiss my ass?
Bob Kevoian
You know how they pronounce it in
Tom Griswold
Jesus?
Bob Kevoian
Here comes the blind all dressed in pink.
Tom Griswold
Pennsylvania boroughs land ordinance forced an unidentified residential. I am going to bust your chops.
Bob Kevoian
They are so turned on right now. Oh, yeah, look at them.
Christy Lee
Why don't you get room?
Tom Griswold
Leaving her without her animals that her therapist recommended.
Bob Kevoian
Huh?
Tom Griswold
A chicken resident suffers from clinically diagnosed mental health struggles, including ptsd, and said she relied on the chickens named Kathy, Mary, Bailey, Ruby, Abigail and Elizabeth to help her leave her house and manage daily anxiety.
Bob Kevoian
Now I'm gonna beat somebody's ass.
Ally Breen
Yeah.
Larry Morgan
Yeah.
Christy Lee
A couple things you could have left out there. I mean, it was like you could have read ahead there.
Jeff Oskay
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Those are all the names of the chickens.
Christy Lee
Shut up this lady.
Bob Kevoian
Yeah, move. Moving along. You could have picked any names.
Pat Godwin
You knew what you were doing.
Christy Lee
Yeah, I just read what instigator chickens names were cast. Kathy, Mary, Betsy, Adam, Kim, Kim, Kim, Kim, Kim.
Tom Griswold
Oh, God.
Bob Kevoian
I send you to Gula. That's what I do.
Tom Griswold
Apparently her therapists.
Bob Kevoian
That sounds like a Russian name, doesn't it? See? Gymnast.
Pat Godwin
Very supple.
Tom Griswold
This beach is done.
Bob Kevoian
Wow. No, I don't.
Tom Griswold
We'll do it again tomorrow. How about that?
Christy Lee
Yeah.
Tom Griswold
Yeah.
Christy Lee
Threaten me with a good time.
Bob Kevoian
Are you gonna try again tomorrow?
Tom Griswold
Yeah, we'll try. See what we do.
Christy Lee
And we will all speak with Russian all day long. Drive you those nuts, Chris. Do you like Russian penis?
Tom Griswold
Never had one.
Bob Kevoian
Always asked with a question mark.
Pat Godwin
Do you have any Russian in you?
Tom Griswold
No, I don't.
Pat Godwin
Would you like.
Jeff Oskay
I know.
Christy Lee
I'm rushing to get in your jeans.
Bob Kevoian
Hey, speaking of tomorrow's show, we're going to talk with talk about a warning.
Tom Griswold
What are we doing?
Bob Kevoian
Greg Warren is going to check in tomorrow.
Tom Griswold
Oh, finally we get to hear a warning.
Christy Lee
Oh, I feel a flu coming on.
Bob Kevoian
And NFL MVP and one of my best friends, Joe Theisman's gonna be calling as. As the preseason opens here next week. Canton, Ohio. August 6th. Wow.
Christy Lee
Hall of Fame predictions.
Bob Kevoian
Our long. Our long national nightmares over the off season is almost done. No, I'm not going to give you any predictions. I'm keeping them myself so I can win lots of money.
Christy Lee
Do you think Joel Theisman might give us?
Bob Kevoian
He might. I would. I would think.
Christy Lee
I demand he tell us who's going to win the Super Bowl.
Bob Kevoian
Well, if he knows, we'll get it out of him. I tell you that. We're in the O'Reilly Auto Part Studios. This is the Bob and Tom Show.
Jim Rome

bit of time, energy, effort, everything along the way on these guys making the country proud.

This episode of The BOB & TOM Show delivers the classic blend of comedy, culture, sports, and the whimsical banter that listeners love. The team covers everything from personal “superstitions” and animal news to deodorant discourse and wild takes on food, relationships, and irrational fears. Highlights include the debut of an “Announcer Guy” sketch, Pat Godwin’s return song, lively debates on underwear, pets, and even an AI-generated wedding. The show keeps the laughs flowing while fielding letters, sharing stories, and dropping in the kind of oddball wisdom only Bob, Tom, Christy, Chick, Josh, Pat, and friends can provide.
True to form, this episode is boisterous, irreverent, full of tangents, sexual humor, friendly razzing, and moments of genuine camaraderie. The mix of news, quirky personal stories, listener emails, creative songmanship, and crowd-pleasing bits (like the phobia quiz and toilet contest) keeps the energy high and engagement strong. The team’s banter balances sharp-tongued teasing with sincere advice—offering both laughs and, sometimes, unexpected nuggets of wisdom.
If you missed this episode, you missed an epic “odds and ends” variety show ranging from the uniquely practical (how to do laundry efficiently) to the supremely absurd (pigeon drone rides and robots in love). No one does offbeat American radio like the Bob & Tom crew.
