This is a podcast called 25 Whistles. Talking Football. And they all wear a whistle yet Stupid. But what did you expect? It's a podcast called 25 Whistles. Welcome to the show. Blow it, Eddie. And we do have the super bowl that I think is the most entertaining super bowl of all the Super Bowls. Let's live it back. It's the mighty Chiefs and the mighty Eagles. Let's first talk about the play that everybody. Mahomes gets all the calls. Shut up. Everybody shut up. I feel like they went out of the way to not give Mahomes certain calls last night because they know that's been what's happening. So the one call everybody wants to focus on so everybody can have their opinion on it and we will go around the room and let everybody have their opinion is the Josh Allen sneak. Midfield did not get it. It was a bit of a tush push sneak type situation. Kevin, give us your opinion first. But let's all be completely transparent. Kevin did bet on the Bills.
Kevin
Yep. You're talking about the first down.
Mike
I'm talking about the one where they did not get the first down.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
Yeah.
Kevin
The one that they got the first down that didn't get the first down.
Mike
That was what I thought.
Eddie
Okay, that's it.
Kevin
Just making sure we're talking about the same one.
Mike
Let's let him have his time with the same 60 seconds on the clock. For you to cry, little baby, go ahead.
Kevin
No, you saw it live. I saw it live. And I'm like, yeah, he for sure got it. You saw one ref on one side running, and he clearly had it marked as a first down. The other ref running the other side, he's like, no, no, no, back here. And they review it, and you're like, all right, cool. They'll get it right. Of course they didn't get it right. You got Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City on the other side. You can't get it right. So as they're driving, try to put the game away, possibly because they're up 1 at that point, I believe you got to give the ball back to Patrick Mahomes. They can't get this. And they didn't get it. Patrick scores. And I will say, though, the Bills, why the heck did you keep going for that sneak when it wasn't working? But they did get that sneak.
Mike
That's his 60 seconds. Boo.
Casey
Boo.
Mike
Boo. Boo. Need a bottle. Okay. Reed, did you even watch any games? Yeah.
Casey
It was so rigged, dude. I'm just kidding. I didn't watch it.
Mike
He didn't watch any games at all?
Casey
No, dude. I was with Maddie. We're doing marriage stuff, man.
Eddie
Okay.
Mike
Wait, does that mean sex?
Casey
No, not yet.
Mike
Sounds like to people when you say that, that's what that means.
Casey
Marital counseling.
Mike
But the game was at 6:00pm oh, yeah.
Casey
I guess that is true.
Mike
We don't care. Because you don't watch. Yeah. That's not your thing.
Casey
We were doing something.
Producer
You're making a stew dinner.
Mike
Yeah. Your thing is to, like, you know, video.
Casey
Exactly.
Mike
Content.
Casey
Yeah. I'll pull the clips. You just let me know.
Eddie
I would think, though, after so much sports talk that he sits around and listens to that he'd want to.
Casey
When I was gamb, it's all I wanted to do was watch sports.
Mike
But since he called the number on himself to make him stop gambling because he was winning too much, he really hasn't been as focused.
Casey
If you.
Kevin
If you go to the super bowl, will that be the first game all year that you watch beginning to end?
Casey
Absolutely.
Mike
Oh, gosh.
Eddie
This is why he shouldn't go to the Super Bowl.
Casey
It'll be the one I bet on, too. I'm coming back.
Mike
Okay.
Casey
Are you kidding me?
Kevin
For that?
Mike
Yeah. Reed, thank you for your 60 seconds. Of course. Eddie, you have 60 seconds. Go.
Eddie
Look, those are always so hard. I'm not there. Like, we see it on tv. We don't even know where the cameras line lined up. Right. Like, what angle do we have? Yes. Did one ref from the bottom have one line? The ref from the. It looked like the guy on the top, though, had a line. And then a player got in his way and he was like, oh, shoot, I got to make up a line. And he kind of moved back where he shouldn't have been. Honestly, I think he did get the first down. If I was the ref, I probably would have given him the first down, but honestly, I don't know. Dude, we're. We're at home. We don't know what kind of TV angles we're getting. So I say he got it, though.
Mike
Do you think it was rigged?
Eddie
No. No. This is the first year I've thought that none of the NFL games have been rigged. This is the first year because you're right. I think that if they wanted to rig anything, Louisiana would have gone to the Super Bowl. Louisiana probably would have won the Super Bowl. In honor of the wildfire.
Mike
I can agree with that. In honor of them. Yes.
Eddie
Honor.
Mike
I can agree with that. Okay, Casey, you're on the clock.
Producer
Yeah, I mean, I had the Chiefs winning, so I guess I'm happy with the result. But I mean, that definitely looked like a first down to me. So I understand that it was a high leverage situation and one ref had one spot, the other ref had the other spot, and they kind of met in the middle and it was a little short. It is what it is. I still think the Bills kind of just, you know, lost that game. They had a chance to win it, and if they're going to complain that that one call was the difference maker, I think they got a suck it up, you know.
Mike
So I did bet on Kansas City. I want everybody to know because if I'm going to give my opinion, you should know where my money was, by the way. I went 10 for 11 and betting.
Producer
Look at you.
Eddie
Attaboy.
Mike
I was on freaking fire.
Eddie
You got that parlay early too.
Mike
That touchdown parlay, the one I did, the parlay I didn't hit was Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelsey, both scoring a touchdown. I bet 200 bucks for like 1200. And Hunt scored the first drive.
Eddie
Yeah, he did.
Mike
And I was like, boys, we're about to hit hard because I hit a three gamer a three touchdowner the game before Terry McLaren, Jaylen Herz, and Saquon, all to score a touchdown.
Producer
Nice.
Mike
I thought I was about to go 11 for 11 on the day, so. But I. I went 10 for 11, I made like $3,000, which is dang awesome. But here's the thing. And you look at my stats. If you want to see them, I'll show them to you. I'm still down like 1500 bucks because I had a really bad. I was so cold at the beginning of January. I needed that yesterday to kind of get back in the.
Producer
Climbing back in.
Mike
Yeah. But I had a great day. I did bet on Kansas City to win. So I watched the play. The ref that had the actual angle had the shorter spot.
Eddie
Is he the bottom one or the top one? Watching the TV guy caught the bottom.
Mike
Because he had the actual open. He could see the ball from his side. The guy from the top could see Josh Allen's back. So his spot was a little more generous. But it was like three inches. Right. So they go and they use the spot of the guy that could see Josh Allen's chest, although a lot of the ball was covered. So then they decided to go and review it. Now, the thing about the review is if they can't 100% reverse it, they won't. I think had they given him a better spot at the beginning, it would have stayed a first down because I don't think you could really see. A jury couldn't convict it because it wasn't 100. Do I think he probably got it? Yeah. Probably about like an inch of the football.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
If it was like. I just think we need sensors on the freaking ball. Yes.
Eddie
And the lines.
Mike
I. So do I think he got it? Yes. And probably just barely. But they can't reverse that if it's so close and there's any doubt. So I think it was the right call upon review. A very difficult call whenever you're calling it. But the right ref had the right spot because he was the one that could see it. But that's also not the play that lost the game. There were many plays because they could. They should have got the play before that. They were just the two point conversion sneak.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
What the heck was. He was like running the option almost to get to that left side, pitch.
Producer
It to the guy.
Mike
There was a lot. But I can definitely understand Buffalo fans being frustrated with that.
Kevin
But.
Mike
But I don't think I didn't see anything last night that I thought was great ammunition for the. They're really working to help Patrick Mahomes. I even thought Mahomes knew he wasn't going to get the calls. So he was going down earlier. He was getting out of bounds quicker because there were ref. I think There were refs, like old refs even talking about it, going into it, going, hey, we want to make sure that it's a physical game. The refs want to make sure it's a physical game and they don't want it to be left to the refs. For all of this controversy. Was he getting calls the week before? For sure. Brady and Mahomes, we did this. They got all. They get all the calls.
Kevin
What do we do?
Mike
You get all the calls. But I don't think that there was a crazy Kansas City bias yesterday. If anything, I think Mahomes of Kansas City knew there wouldn't be. So they had to overly do things the right way. There were no flops. There were no late slides. There was a terrible spike. I laughed out loud with my own.
Eddie
What was he trying to do there?
Mike
He's trying to change his mind in.
Eddie
The middle of it.
Mike
I saw he was asked about it after and he goes, that's why I don't spike the ball. He's trying to spike the ball and it like slips out of his hand. He, like throws it six yards instead.
Eddie
It was awkward.
Mike
But how about that? Another great game between those two.
Eddie
I mean, I wish. I wish that was a Super bowl, you know, Like, I feel like I just wish the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills would be the Super Bowl.
Mike
Josh Allen, that's four losses, two Mahomes.
Eddie
So it's. It's done, right? Like we. We now know who King Dingling is.
Mike
Well, I think we knew, but Josh Allen has had success in the regular season and the Bills had a. There have been times that he's lost him in the divisional round when Kansas City was the better team and it was a Josh Allen L to a better Mahomes Kansas City offense. I still think Josh Allen's probably the second best quarterback with Lamar. I mean, I don't think anyone's going. He's not. But that's the monkey on his back now. Lamar's is the playoffs. Josh Allen's is Patrick Mahomes. That's it.
Kevin
Yeah, because he puts up the same numbers essentially, like in their head to head in those four matchups. It's pretty similar.
Mike
Plays really well.
Kevin
Really well. Like, Lamar doesn't play that well.
Mike
Right.
Kevin
Where Josh Allen actually plays even better. Not better than Mahomes, but I'm saying better than Lamar.
Mike
It's a good game. It had a Super bowl type feel, though. Even like in the third quarter.
Kevin
Yeah, it was awesome.
Mike
It was tight. You're like, oh, gosh, what's going to happen here. Yeah, it's good.
Kevin
I felt like I was watching a Patriots game. I was, like, so tight the whole time. I was like, what the heck?
Producer
Yeah, James Cook, too, showed up at a few of those touchdowns.
Kevin
Well, I don't understand why they didn't use them more on the fourth.
Narrator
And Shorts.
Eddie
They did at the end. They tried. They gave him the ball like, five times in a row, but.
Kevin
Awesome, though.
Mike
Hey, my boy Samaj with the final catch. Put it out. It's awesome, dude. I messaged him. I was like, let's go. Yeah, of course I did. That's all. I love it. I. You know, he didn't play much. And then out of the backfield on that final play to clinch it comes out of nowhere. Yeah.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
What a game.
Producer
I think also just McDermott just will never be able to beat Andy Reid either. It just seems like it's just a complete.
Kevin
He definitely got out coached.
Eddie
And then. Please, can we just not do the interview? Like, the loser coach interview.
Producer
Yeah.
Eddie
It's so sad. It's so sad.
Mike
I would agree. It sucks. Yeah.
Eddie
Like, and there's nothing that we want to hear him say. Like, there's, like, for entertainment value. There's nothing there. We just don't want to see him.
Mike
Yeah, I can agree with that. And it's awkward for us to even.
Eddie
Watch because they go and even, like, the TV is like, yeah, Chiefs.
Mike
Yeah, you gotta fight for your right.
Eddie
Let's talk to coach. Hey, Coach. Sorry about this. How are you feeling right now about the game? It's terrible.
Mike
It's cool to see my home still get so fired up about winning. He's won. I mean, it was. He's been to, what, seven AFC championships in a row?
Producer
Seven? Yeah. Seven championships in a row.
Mike
And like, you, I mean, he was fired. Freaking up. It was. It's cool. I enjoyed it also. I bet on it. But I did want Kansas City to win because we're going and I want to see. I wanted to see Kansas City and the Eagles. That would have been the most fun Super Bowl. It's a rematch. That game was amazing.
Kevin
Yeah. A couple years ago.
Mike
Yeah. Jalen Hurts played great. I've heard. Go back. He did a few hours. He played great. Saquon dude. Earl. Like, first series.
Eddie
I mean, first. First touch, right?
Producer
It was the first touch.
Mike
It was like, ball game.
Eddie
That's it.
Mike
And it wasn't ball game. That's it. Right away. But it got so out of hand early. Third quarter, I went and dedicated some of my wife because I had a game left. Yes.
Producer
Good move.
Mike
Because I knew that was over and she's not going to bust my balls. She knows it's AFC NFC championship. But I went and dedicated some time to her to hang out because I was going to go watch the game later and it was over. And then I just kept checking it and it was like 40.
Eddie
Worse and worse.
Producer
Another fumble. Another fumble.
Kevin
I stopped at 41. I came back as a 55. I was like, oh, my goodness.
Mike
Jay Daniels played pretty well at the beginning of the day.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
It just got out of hand.
Kevin
Turnovers.
Mike
Yep. So Washington's going to be good and good for them.
Eddie
Man.
Mike
What a. I just hate their colors and hate their logo.
Kevin
I think their uniforms are awesome.
Mike
But that's cool. I just only associate with losing. Yeah.
Kevin
That's fair.
Eddie
You like the color like, I do. Dark red.
Kevin
I don't know why. I just.
Mike
Is that red? Yeah, it's like a. Like something. I should be drawn to it. But it's just. It's the yellow with it, I think.
Eddie
Sure.
Mike
Because the Kansas City yellow is not as prevalent unless it's, like, in their shoes or their red.
Producer
Like a little accessory on it.
Mike
It's very red and white. And I think that's also why I'm drawn to Kansas City. I love red. Yeah.
Kevin
So, yeah, I'm trying to think like the Rams yellow. I can't stand that yellow.
Mike
The Rams.
Eddie
That yellow is the same as the Kansas City.
Mike
Hold on. The Rams have yellow.
Eddie
They have a little yellow in there.
Kevin
It's like IKEA yellow.
Mike
I'm thinking of red.
Eddie
Yeah. Yellow and yellow.
Casey
He mixed up the color.
Mike
My brain was not. I could not figure out Earth as a whole. Right.
Eddie
Okay. You're handicapped.
Mike
Oh, my gosh. Okay. The. Yeah, I don't like the yellow with the red, I think. And also, it just is a losing logo. It feels like.
Eddie
Which one? Washington's.
Mike
Yeah. It's just a loser.
Eddie
What is the.
Mike
What's the logo?
Producer
A W, straight up.
Eddie
That's weird.
Mike
But they're all.
Kevin
Blacks are sick. Those are cool.
Eddie
Is that what they wore yesterday?
Kevin
No.
Eddie
Okay.
Mike
Other losing, like, loser logos. I just think of losers throughout the history. First of all, Jacksonville, I hate their uniforms because they suck. They just remind me of losers. That. That Jaguar, unfortunately.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
That's just a loot. Yes. It's just a losing color and a losing logo. The. No offense to you, but the old Patriots with their finger down. That, to me, is a loser. The old Buccaneer logo.
Eddie
Losers.
Mike
Losers. Popsicle.
Producer
What do they Call that that funky orange.
Eddie
Orange Popsicle, Orange Creamsicle.
Mike
I don't mind. I don't mind the Creamsicle color, but the. The Buccaneer guy on the helmet.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
That's a loser to me.
Kevin
And they're cool logos. That's what sucks.
Mike
And when they wear the old school back, I like it. And it's like, oh, it's cool. But as a kid, I hated them because they lost.
Eddie
What's the name of the Patriot?
Mike
Pat.
Eddie
Pat. Okay, Pat. You're right, dude. Pat. They were terrible.
Mike
And it just only associate that with losers. So the new Patriot logo. I don't. That is a winning logo.
Eddie
Winner.
Kevin
But I don't even like that logo.
Mike
See, I do, because I just feel like winners wear that.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
Other losey. Loser logos in my head that I think of because it. Jacksonville. Jacksonville comes to mind.
Kevin
The Dolphins.
Mike
The Titans, too. It's a loser to color. Oh, yeah. Hey, Mike, do we have the audio for My Titans? I can play it from my phone. If not, I forgot to do this. And I wonder. Because I wonder if I should talk about this. Is it a Good Morning Football Club? Yep. Yep. Okay. So, yeah, screw it. We have been.
Eddie
I don't even know what you're talking about.
Mike
We've been able to do some cool stuff on our show. Too much Access, where we go out and we, you know, play ball, talk to coaches. And so we live where the Titans are. And over the past years, they have not let us come and do too much access or interview. And we're like, we're down the road.
Eddie
Yeah. We live here. We're one of you.
Mike
Like, we flew to LA to hang out with the Chargers. We. So we're do. And I would just be like, we're just down the road. And we've done like 50 episodes and it's a good show. And they would be like, okay. And I try not to take that personally, but they've also sucked as well. So it's been. They've. They're down the road and they've sucked. That's two reasons that you want to, like, have some good.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
Like publicity. Yeah. Like show people.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
And so they invited us to come back this year, and I was like, we're good.
Eddie
Oh, nice.
Mike
And it's not even that. I don't. I hope they win. Then. We got it. There's a new general manager, a new coach last year. Yeah.
Eddie
They've cleaned house, so maybe there's someone that they let go that didn't want us there.
Mike
Regardless, I just Am like, you know, I think we're going to be okay. We're. We're gonna pass on this one. And I only knew they invited me after I went on Good Morning Football. And I don't know if they heard this. Heck, they may resend their invitation. And I was talking about the Titans. It wasn't glowing. And I'll play it for you now. Go ahead. Sucks. The Titans suck. Let's just be honest. The Titans suck. That's why they got the first pick. They're terrible. The colors look slow. It's weird that colors are even slow, but even our colors look slow. So everything about the tit Titans is an absolute disaster. Derek Henry goes, has a great season.
Narrator
It's all.
Mike
It's a mess. We have the number one pick. I'm sure somehow we're going to trade the for like Babe Ruth from the Red Sox to the Yankees for like a Broadway play. Like that's what I expect us to do. We're going to. We're going to trade our best pick for a Broadway play or something. So no, it's a disaster and nobody wants to go to the games because it's cold. But we're building a new stadium and. Yep. Well, that's all we have to hang our hat on. So I said that. And the old Babe Ruth thing is they traded him for money. So I get. So he started play like Babe Ruth blew.
Producer
Cursed Gambino. Yeah.
Mike
And so I was like, well, that's what the Titans end up doing. Trading the first big like the wicked touring production. Not even the real wicked. Yeah. So I kind of went hard there. But that's how I feel. Like we suck. And if you suck, you're. Nobody's gonna go to a cold game. So. But then the invite came after and that was on NFL Network. And I wonder, do they hear that? And they go like we need to get them back or they not hear that. Now they're like, we hate them. But we already said no.
Eddie
I don't know if they watch that Villains because I don't know they would invite you.
Mike
After that, I kind of went hard. I kind of want.
Kevin
It was the next day too.
Mike
Yeah. No, it was the next day.
Eddie
Yeah, they might have missed that one.
Mike
So. Okay. Eagles and Chiefs. That's what's up. When it opened on DraftKings, it was Kansas City minus one and a half. Same as it was with Buffalo. I jumped on it immediately. I feel like 500 bucks on Kansas City minus one and a half.
Eddie
Nice.
Mike
I don't know if it's going to move, but I'll check it right now. I'm assuming it's probably going to be about the same right now, but that's fun. And we're going to go and an update on that in just a second. Yeah. Wait, do you know the update?
Kevin
No.
Eddie
You're acting like you know something.
Kevin
I'm just ready.
Mike
Nobody knows anything.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
Okay. Standby.
Kevin
Scared.
Casey
I am scared, man. I'm shaking in my boots.
Producer
Did you guys see that sequence of plays when with the Tush push in the Washington game where they kept going off sides and the ref actually had to warn Washington?
Mike
Yeah. They didn't give a free touchdown.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
Yeah.
Kevin
That's crazy.
Producer
But like, I almost like, don't blame Washington though, because it's like, what else are you supposed to do? You have to kind of jump the snap count in order to actually stop it.
Eddie
It's all time.
Producer
Like, they gotta, like, figure something out because I, I, that was kind of ridiculous for a little while.
Kevin
Take notes from the Chiefs, I guess.
Mike
I don't know. Yeah. It's still minus one and a half. So that I didn't know that rule, but I looked it up after.
Producer
Yeah.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
And I forget the exact name of it, but if you keep jumping, it's like Madden. If you keep, like jumping off sides, they'll just cancel the game and go, that person loses.
Eddie
Oh, really?
Mike
But they can give a touchdown to a team if another team, like, blatantly cheats.
Producer
Right.
Mike
Like jumping off that situation.
Producer
It's like you can't even blame them, really.
Mike
You know, because they're going to get it anyway. Right. So let's try to time it.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
The Chiefs were jumping and timing it. Right. Like they were. Yeah.
Producer
And because of that thing with Allen always going left or even Romo brought that up. Yeah. That was crazy. Yeah.
Mike
But yeah, they're like, how do you stop that crap? I don't. The touch push, I think they should get rid of. I know. Everybody can do it and it's free. Everybody can do.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
It's just boring to watch. So I don't think it's like cheating and everybody can do it fairly, but as just a consumer just watches on television, when they do it, you're like automatic. It's like watching an onside kick, but the opposite. You're like, for sure this is not going to work.
Eddie
But how come, like, it just started, what, three years ago, four years ago, The Eagles.
Mike
Yeah.
Eddie
Right. So, like, that's crazy that football's been around for so long, but they just invented a play where it's like, it's guaranteed. If you're 12 yards away, it's guaranteed a touchdown. And now we want to get rid of it. I don't think so, Bones.
Mike
Yeah, I understand that it's fair and I don't think there is a disadvantage for anyone, but I think the reason that the tush push became, I think it was a timing and a personnel, like all coming together because you're talking about a quarterback that can squat a gazillion pounds. Yeah. And Jason Kelsey in that. So, yeah, sure. Revolutionary. Great.
Eddie
It's crazy.
Mike
And also they started to allow a bit of players touching and pushing each other, which that was high. And you're not really supposed to do that now to help, but they loosened up that rule. So again, personnel and timing. I don't like it as a viewer, but do I think it's unfair? No, it's absolutely fair.
Eddie
Part of the game.
Mike
I can't wait for them to change the onside kick, though, because I hope that they do. The 4th and 20. 4th and 20 is weird to call it, but it's like you have one shot to get a 20 yard play to get the ball back.
Eddie
You got to still call it onside.
Mike
Right.
Eddie
Or like. Like, do we just keep it.
Mike
But that's a kick.
Eddie
I know, but it's just like to use a four. Hey, come on. The fourth and 20. Let's go, baby. We're gonna. They could do a Hail Mary. 4th and 20. We're gonna win this game. That just sounds weird.
Mike
They'll have to change the name of it phrase to like a.
Eddie
Survive.
Mike
Get. Like get the ball back. Okay. Yeah.
Eddie
It needs a cool name.
Producer
Yeah, it does.
Mike
And something that sounds better than get the ball back play. But that's. You know what it is. So. Yeah, it was a good day. Yeah. That cheat day. And even again, the commanders, they had a good half. They did.
Producer
It was close, right? Like 14 to 12 at one point.
Eddie
They had a good first drive.
Mike
And they played with house money.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
In the way of. Nobody expected them to get. I'm sure they did. And they've said, I've watched Dan Quine and other players, so we're not playing with house money. We expected to be here from the perception of the football fan. They were playing with house money. No one's watching, going, like, those freaking losers.
Eddie
Sure.
Mike
Everybody's like, man, I can't wait to see them next year. If you're a Commander's fan. Although it stings to lose, you're going. What a ride. That was amazing. We're really looking forward to next year, and that's the best thing is if you can look forward to next year when that year is over. Yeah. Other than a championship, I just haven't got to experience any championships in my life, so I don't know what that is. So. But like Arkansas football, I don't feel like next year is going to be any better than this year. It sucks.
Kevin
So you have nothing really to look forward to.
Mike
I look forward to getting my hopes up and get them dashed again. But right now they're not up. So I'm looking forward to them going up. But then also at some point. Yeah, also the great stock market crash will happen like week three. So Commanders fans, good for you. That's pretty cool. And then afterward you see Zach Ertz. He's coming out and Fletcher London. Fletcher was like, oh, Fletcher Cox.
Producer
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Mike
Fletcher Cox was like, that's cool. Because Hertz was an Eagle for a long time.
Producer
Yeah, he won the Super Bowl. Yeah.
Mike

We'Re here with pro tight end Dallas Goddard to share his journey with plaque psoriasis and how he tackles his symptoms with Otezla Apremolast.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, being a football player with plaque psoriasis can be challenging. My skin gets flaky and itchy, so my doctor told me about a pill, otesla. It works from the inside out.

Mike
So the question is five people, four Super bowl tickets. Except I'm getting a ticket because of my tickets. So it's four people, three super bowl tickets.
Eddie
That's fair.
Mike
We are going to fairly figure out who gets the three tickets. This will absolutely be fair. And. Well, let me play a couple of voicemails first because people have ideas here. This is Abby from Minnesota. Go ahead.
Eddie
I have a six year super bowl ticket problem.
Mike
Sorry, Reid, you're getting the cut. He is leaving you, right? He's moving away from the role with you. Right? Guy's gone. Sorry. Super bowl is Mike, Eddie, Bobby, Kevin.
Eddie
Perfect.
Kevin
Sounds good.
Mike
So I would say this is more of a reward for the past than an investment in the future.
Eddie
So you reward someone for just quitting on you leaving you.
Mike
Read.
Eddie
Interesting.
Mike
I don't feel like you're just quitting or just. Would you like to explain what's happening in your life and why you must leave the show?
Casey
All right. Yeah. So my fiance, Maddie is in medical school. She's in rotations right now, and she's about to start her residency program in Nashville. They require a specific test that in her school, she's not able to do. So she couldn't even apply for residency in Nashville even if she wanted to. So residency programs will start in August of next year. And so she is applying to a bunch of different programs. But. But Nashville is just not in the cards. We're getting married in June, so we've got to go wherever her residency program takes her.
Eddie
Sounds like he's quitting.
Casey
So dang.
Eddie
It's tough.
Mike
I understand.
Casey
But she is. She. She knows how important, you know, my work is. And so we're. We're trying to fight for the. The best alternative to where I could still be able to do stuff here in Nashville and maintain, you know, relationships and stuff like that. So.
Mike
And that would be Franklin Murfreesboro. Yes, exactly. Murfreesboro. So Memphis is a possibility.
Casey
Yeah, it's the number one. I mean, I'm. I'm pretty.
Mike
Pretty confident. And that's also, like, proximity to home, too, for you guys, right? For sure. Yeah.
Casey
Her family's.
Mike
It's not just about this job. I don't want read to, like, position it. Like we're just doing it for 25 whistles.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
But that is.
Casey
Yeah, very true.
Mike
Yeah. And Memphis is three. Yeah.
Eddie
Three hours.
Mike
Yeah. So I also think of it as a reward, not an investment in the future, as I said. So I'm not going to cut Reed because he's not going to be here.
Eddie
Interesting. Okay.
Mike
I would also say. Well, let me place out the voicemail first because I think they have something to say. Play the next one, please. Hi.
Eddie
I have been listening to the podcast for the show and for 25 whistles and heard the segment about the super bowl, and I think that because Casey can't go because he's the newest to the show, maybe Eddie shouldn't necessarily be able to go because he did leave the show at one point and everybody else has stuck with every season and every episode of 25 Whistles. Just a thought.
Kevin
Dang.
Eddie
That was a little political, though.
Mike
Another logical argument.
Eddie
See, what happened there, though, is my wife, you know, she's doing a residency.
Mike
Okay. So that is presented like they've probably done more episodes than you have more work.
Eddie
I'll put it this way. I didn't want to leave. I didn't want to leave when I took that. I didn't want to take that break.
Mike
And Reed doesn't want to have to move away from 25 whistles. So the want to is really not an argument. She's just saying they've done more episodes, which is why Casey's not getting a ticket because he's the newest. He's been. So do you co sign that arc?
Eddie
No, not co signing any of that.
Mike
I don't either. But I appreciate everybody that's calling and giving feedback. Yeah, that's great because it's excellent. We are next week on Tuesday after the show, we're taking a bus and Matt Stell also on a bus because Eddie and I are going to play a couple charity shows on the way down. We're going to play in Atlanta. I just read that maybe everything sold out. No way. We've never even come on. We've only been on the air in Atlanta for like 8 months. 6. I don't know how long.
Eddie
Yeah, something like that.
Mike
I definitely did not expect.
Eddie
And this is the Superdome no, dude.
Mike
That was on the ball game. You're watching.
Eddie
Got it.
Mike
Yeah, that was. You're watching the ball game for that one.
Eddie
We sold out the Super Dome.
Mike
No, no. Okay, so Rod just said, atlanta is sold out. Win your way in. Only we'll check on. We'll check on mobile. And I said, mobile is sold out. So what we were worried about was going and nobody being there.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
Because again, we don't really have a massive. Our podcast audience is semi strong, but it's not like the show has been there. We've been able to have a bunch of listeners through it. So we are going to go down and play Atlanta on Tuesday night, get on the bus, drive Wednesday. Wednesday night, we're going to play mobile, drive, spend the night on the bus. You ever bust it, like, touring?
Kevin
Not like that, no.
Mike
You'll like it.
Eddie
You will like a.
Mike
Look, it's a little weird night one because you're just. But read. You have, you know, with me. Yeah, yeah. On a bus, though, or just.
Casey
I think the only bus thing is when we did too much access with the bus, so not like fully staying the night.
Mike
Back and forth, same day. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Okay. But it's. You just live in the bus.
Casey
Dude, I'm pumped.
Mike
So we'll do the bus.
Eddie
Did you tell them the rules on the bus?
Mike
No pooping.
Eddie
No pooping.
Mike
You have to poop. Oh, clearly somewhere else.
Eddie
Yeah, let's get that clear right now.
Kevin
All right.
Casey
Reed, no maintenance dudes.
Mike
I didn't see the tools. Come on, man. I'll focus. We'll play the two shows and then we'll go to New Orleans on Thursday morning. Actually, late Wednesday night. Middle of the night. Thursday morning, then Thursday morning. I could probably pull up who we have confirmed so far.
Eddie
Yeah. Do you know for guests? Have you seen just the one that I mean.
Mike
Yeah. You only know one.
Eddie
22.
Mike
Okay, so we have Emmett Smith confirmed.
Eddie
Yeah. That is awesome.
Mike
We have. And again, confirmed is if they don't get sick or whatever else. We have Deion Sanders confirmed.
Eddie
Oh, my God.
Mike
We have. It looks like. And all the spots aren't full yet.
Eddie
We've got two cowboys, so Troy Aikman.
Mike
It looks like Nico Collins.
Eddie
That's cool.
Producer
Nice.
Mike
Because we wanted somebody current. Looks like Greg Olson.
Eddie
Oh, awesome.
Mike
Which would be super cool. I think he. I mean, he's the best.
Eddie
No, he does a great job.
Kevin
Yeah, he's awesome.
Mike
Reggie Bush.
Producer
Oh, very nice.
Eddie
Whoa. And Wendy's commercials, right?
Mike
Yeah, Yeah. I did a little time at USC as well. Braxton. Barrows from the Dolphins will be the first one on Thursday and so far that's what we got.
Eddie
That's pretty awesome.
Mike
Still a couple spots open, but pretty cool.
Eddie
That's.
Mike
That'll be who's on the show next week.
Kevin
I got a cool stage and everything too.
Producer
Nice.
Mike
Have you seen like a drawing?
Kevin
Mm.
Mike
Is it like a one way at Fanatics Fest?
Kevin
Yeah, but it'll even have like a digital screen on the front, like a TV, like your desk here. And it'll say like 25 whistles logo on it and everything.
Producer
Fancy.
Eddie
You know, I have a Getty. You know, Getty Images. It's kind of like a database for like. If you want a picture of Britney Spears, go to Getty. Whatever.
Mike
They have it, you have to pay for it.
Eddie
Yeah. Yeah. So I have a. I have a membership for. Just for work and I don't know. I was looking for a picture for you and there was. It popped up. A picture. A couple pictures of us doing interviews at Fanatics Fest. So it's crazy. There was a Getty photographer walking around and took a picture of us and posted that.
Kevin
Nice.
Mike
Do you have the ability to get the pic? Like it's paid for. You can use the pictures?
Eddie
Yeah, I can use it. Do you want it?
Mike
I don't. I mean, I don't know.
Eddie
It's really just. It's us interviewing, I believe, Adam Schefter.
Mike
That's pretty cool.
Eddie
Yeah, that's pretty awesome.
Mike
I think too. Look, what do I know what's gonna happen? We're gonna have a bus. The radio station's actually parked across the street kind of from where we're gonna be, so even our. But. And we'll do some podcast stuff on the bus. Cause we're not gonna do it all on the stage. I don't know. Maybe we'll find people there and just like come over the bus.
Eddie
That's cool.
Mike
We'll interview.
Eddie
But there are rules. No pooping on the bus.
Mike
That's true.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
But also. So we do our thing for two days and then the NFL show that we're doing. You guys should hang around because Matt and I are doing stuff and people. And people are coming over to that too.
Eddie
Oh yeah.
Mike
Do you know who we have over there yet? I saw some stuff.
Kevin
I have definitely Cam Jordan on top of my head.
Eddie
He lives there, right?
Kevin
Yeah, probably. Well, he plays for the Saints.
Eddie
Yeah, I think. Yeah.
Mike
What?
Eddie
I think that he lives in New Orleans.
Mike
Oh, I thought you meant like at the.
Eddie
No.
Producer
Rolls out of bed.
Mike
Yeah, I Don't know. I've seen a whole list, and it was pretty solid.
Kevin
Yeah, there's a big list because that's.
Mike
Like the NFL, and I think people are just gonna come by. I think it's gonna be cool. Just a fun time. Okay. Boom. Got that. Mike Donut. So here's what we're gonna do. Read of Mike, Kevin, and Eddie.
Casey
Yep.
Mike
Just pick somebody.
Casey
Pick somebody. Well, I think it's fair to say Mike.
Mike
Okay.
Eddie
Pick somebody for what?
Mike
Who knows?
Eddie
Oh, just pick someone.
Mike
Yeah.
Eddie
Okay.
Mike
So, Kevin, since Reed has picked Mike, you and Eddie are now the team. So what we're going to do is. You're not actually a team. What's going to happen is we have the old Connect Four game here.
Eddie
Oh, my gosh.
Mike
You're going to play the person that.
Casey
I've been playing all weekend, baby.
Mike
Really?
Eddie
Yeah.
Casey
I got on my phone, I've been doing multiplayer.
Mike
That's what we're gonna do.
Casey
It's just sitting right there. I assumed.
Mike
I never said anything to him. He just saw it.
Casey
I was gonna be very upset if we were, like, bringing out the Game of Life or something instead.
Kevin
You did mention it the other day.
Casey
But you mention it.
Kevin
Passing.
Mike
Okay, got it. And then, so you know, if you.
Casey
Lose, I'm still bad.
Mike
If you lose, you're not out. You're one of the two people that are out.
Producer
Gotcha.
Eddie
I am not good at this game.
Kevin
I'm terrible. Or any of us. Good.
Eddie
I don't know.
Kevin
Mike's gonna be sneaky.
Mike
Good. No, I hate that I got a losing record.
Eddie
Okay. But we, Kevin and I are a team.
Mike
No, no, no. You're playing each other.
Eddie
Oh.
Mike
It's like Squid Game when they're like, pick somebody, and all of a sudden it's one of the two that are gonna lose. So let's set it up. Read, if you don't mind. Yeah, I got up real quick.
Eddie
We're gonna play on the stage over there.
Mike
Yeah. And we'll keep going. We'll take a little break for a commercial, and then we have some other stuff to talk about, but Reed will be setting it up, and what we'll do is we'll video it and we'll put the whole video up of the game, but we won't do the whole game on the podcast. We'll just update you at the end as to who won.
Kevin
Okay.
Mike
So at the very end, we'll break Mike, we'll play the games, and we'll put an end on the show. Okay. But all this is still on the show as of now. Let's do a little break. We'll come right back. Mike
Want to talk about your head coach. Dallas Cowboys yeah, what do you want to talk about?
Eddie
We're wasting another two years of our existency.
Mike
Yes, you did say that would not be a sexy hire.
Eddie
And this definitely is the opposite of a sexy Hire God. What are we doing?
Mike
So you have no faith or hope? Because I would think there's a bit of hope when you have no idea about somebody at least a bit. I think there's less hope if you're getting like a retread that's done it three times and you're going, oh, man, he's failed here and here we're doing this. I'd feel less hope in that than somebody that you have no understanding of what they're going to do.
Eddie
As a head coach, do you remember Quincy Carter?
Mike
Absolutely. Played for the Georgia.
Eddie
Do you remember Dave Campo? Yeah, I feel like that's the season we're going into again, like, and now. And now Bones with.
Mike
You have a quarterback, though. I mean, you do have Quincy Carter again was a bit of an experiment. Wasn't a quarterback you're paying a bunch of money to. You at least have a quarterback. You at least have a number one wide receiver. You at least have probably Michael. They haven't paid Michael Parsons yet, have they?
Casey
Not yet.
Eddie
Not yet.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
So I think it's a bit different. I hear you're the Cowboy fan.
Eddie
I am. And I'm just telling you what we're all thinking. And especially now with the Philadelphia Eagles and the super bowl and then the Commanders with just a great team going into next year, dude, we're probably not going to make the playoffs again. So if you do want two years to rebuild your team and maybe kind of we're going to lose the next couple of years, we're going to have a Schottenheimer as our head coach, we'll rebuild, and then we'll try to make the playoffs in year three. Possibly that's what they're thinking.
Mike
But to me, I don't think it's a placeholder. Like, I think Pete Carroll's a placeholder with the Raiders. Oh, really?
Eddie
Did you see him practicing throwing the football?
Producer
Yeah, man, that was awesome.
Eddie
Practice?
Mike
No, but I mean, I've seen it before. I know he's 73 and he's still with that.
Eddie
Yeah, he moves better than I do.
Mike
Well, everything breaks on you, dude.
Eddie
Exactly.
Mike
And by Pete Carroll, I don't mean just like a placeholder, like, who knows, generic. Like, I think they're bringing him in for the same reason they brought Riverboat Ron in. In places.
Eddie
Yeah. He's had success.
Mike
Absolutely. And they couldn't get Ben Johnson. Right. So they went and got Pete Carroll, who they believe in, but can and has won.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
And can get players to play for him and can get Coaches to coach for him, but I feel like that is a placeholder until they're able to find, like, their guy. Because he's old. I don't think Schottenheimer's a placeholder, man.
Eddie
What's pretty crazy is he is the 10th head coach the Dallas Cowboys have had when it. Just realize how young of a franchise they are. He's the 10th head coach.
Producer
How old is Jerry now, too? He's like, 83 or something. Like, I mean, in his 80s, kind of like.
Eddie
Did you see that meme? There's a mean. I'm not gonna say it. Forget it. Yoda. They compared him to Yoda.
Producer
I saw that. That was the best thing ever.
Mike
Jerry Jones to Yoda.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
He made Yoda white. He looks like Jerry Jones.
Producer
It's incredible. You got to see it.
Mike
Dang. I don't want you going hard on my boy Jerry.
Eddie
That's what I'm saying. But I did laugh a little bit.
Mike
Funny. I.
Eddie
What do you think, Bones? What do you. Honestly?
Mike
Honestly, I think I'll be disappointed because there were a few people that I think I would have rather had knowing only what I know and only knowing who I talk to. I will say that I do. And I have limited actual sources anyway, but I do have a few more sources now that I know Matt Castle.
Eddie
Sure.
Mike
Because, like, he's friends with, like, Kevin O'Connell. Not our Kevin. He's friends with, like, Kevin O'Connell.
Eddie
I am, too.
Kevin
Dude. We're friends, too.
Mike
Pete Carroll coached him.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
@ USC. Like, he knows people, and he, like. And with Matt and I. I don't know if we'll talk about this on our show over there, but we were that process to do that, because Matt came on this show first as an interview when I was kind of going, who do I want to be the co host? Because NFL had been like. And I didn't want to do another show because this is, like, our baby. Like, we own this show. But when NFL comes calling, you go, I'll do that as well. That's crazy. I get to work for the NFL. That's wild. And so I was like, well, I don't want to do it if I don't have somebody that has credibility. So they were like, whomever you want. Like, I was on the phone with Colt McCoy, having calls with him. I was talking. So when I got to know Matt, we were just. It was kind of like, slam. Okay, I like him, but you have to start working immediately. And we did all this work during Christmas break, and then they delayed it. So Matt and I. My point with the story is Matt Castle and I, we've. We had never hung out. We've only been together working here and then in my house, though. And I like them, but it's like, we'll talk a little before and after, but it's always like, work, work, work. Well, finally he was like, dude, let's just go hang out. And so we went to lunch on Friday. And it's pretty cool to talk to somebody that, like, knows actual stuff, because what crap do we know?
Eddie
Nothing.
Mike
We just watch and have opinions. And I got, like, a few people I know that have. But really to talk to, like, somebody who played for that long, who has all. Kellen. He knows Kellen Moore. He played with Kellen Moore? Was Kellen Moore. Yeah. Played with him.
Kevin
Yeah. In Dallas. Yeah.
Mike
Yeah. So he's like, I know.
Eddie
While he was there.
Mike
Yeah.
Eddie
In Dallas. Oh, wow. Okay.
Mike
All these. And so I'm, like, getting all the Nuggets, and then I'm like, man, which. How can I disguise it? How can I release these Nuggets?
Kevin
And he has, like, nicknames for Sirianni. Like, he's that good of friends with him.
Eddie
Like, what he does.
Mike
So I'm not. And I'm. I'll never, like, blow somebody's spot up ever. I don't do that on our show on country music, even though I know a lot of crap.
Eddie
Right.
Mike
I find. But it's like, I kind of have some sort. It's pretty cool to have some sources now. So I only trust my sources when they tell me stuff I have no idea about. And it's Schottenheimer. I have no idea. Right. Because he's only ever. He's an assistant.
Eddie
Sure.
Mike
He didn't even call the plays, from what I know.
Eddie
And let me stop here just for a second.
Mike
Go ahead.
Eddie
If you're not calling the plays and you're the offensive coordinator, what are you. What are you doing?
Mike
Preparing the team each week?
Eddie
Just kind of, here are the plays installing.
Mike
But you're putting your installations in as well. Like, this is what's going to work. You're running them through practice, and then.
Eddie
You'Re telling McCarthy, like, hey, this is what I think.
Mike
Yeah, he's also involved. But this is what I've heard about Schottenheimer is that the only reason he didn't call plays is because McCarthy's a great offensive play caller. Like, so. Anywhere else, he'd have been calling the plays and that he started off calling place. Yes. But he'd have been, he'd have continued. But also when he was calling plays, he didn't have. Dude, he was calling plays. That wasn't going well. But, you know, the Dallas never running back.
Eddie
True.
Producer
Yeah.
Mike
Like, what are you going to do without a running back?
Eddie
Rico Dowdle, Seriously.
Mike
So the people that I know are like, this guy deserves a shot. He's been a career assistant, widely regarded as a really smart guy, and had he not been under McCarthy, he'd have been calling plays. Continued. But he didn't have the personnel when he got it pulled from him, and that's why he got it pulled from him. Okay, so I'm not even saying believe in it. I'm just saying there are people I know are smarter than us that believe that believe there's an opportunity for him to do well.
Eddie
Okay. I need to believe in something.
Mike
I hear you.
Eddie
I feel that way because right now, I'm not believing in anything. So I appreciate that.
Mike
Three people were busted trying to sell $200,000 worth of fake Jason Kelsey memorabilia.
Producer
Really?
Mike
How much? I mean, the Jason Kelsey stuff can't be worth a whole lot.
Kevin
Yeah, that's a lot of stuff.
Eddie
Not really.
Mike
I mean, because his fame has come after. Sure, his fame has come. You know, they launched the podcast, and it was doing well, but then when Travis started dating Taylor, that's when that podcast popped, and that's when they both went next level in the media world. Their podcast was doing well. It really was doing well, but it.
Eddie
Was so much that even his wife took off.
Producer
Yeah, right.
Mike
Taylor is what super launched them. They already had a successful podcast for sure, but they didn't pop into, like, the pop culture.
Producer
They weren't doing Campbell's chunky noodle soup things.
Mike
Yes. And that. And that's.
Eddie
They have their own cereal, too. Do you see that?
Mike
That's not a slam on them. Because also, Travis was and is probably the best postseason tight end of all time. Top two tight ends ever. I give Gronk say, everybody, don't get mad.
Kevin
I didn't say anything.
Eddie
We heard you puffing over there.
Mike
But when. When Travis started daily dating Taylor, you know, a rising tide brings up all ships and all those ships wildly famed. He got a show on espn.
Producer
Right.
Mike
So all that's happening. So I can see where his memorial would be worth more. But I mean, really, how much Jason Kelsey memorabilia? Yeah, that's crazy. So, yeah, anyway, 200,000 bucks worth of fake Jason Kelsey memorabilia. Authorities say Branco and June 24 attended an autograph signing in Pennsylvania where Kelsey Was present taking a photo with the pro bowl lineman in order to validate her in the presence of authentication. And then there was stuff that was forged on it, but she took a picture with them to go like, look, this is me in the presence. I can say. Ultima officials say the fake items were sold through two sports memorabilia businesses. After items were sold, authorities say a local police department was tipped that something was wrong. Jail. Out on jail. What's it called?
Kevin
Bail.
Eddie
Bail.
Mike
Bail bond, whatever it is.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
Over 1100 items, including helmets, jerseys, photos, footballs, advertising them as real.
Eddie
I feel like it would be so easy to do that. Just sell fake memorabilia and say it was real.
Mike
Yes and no. Yes. Draw stuff on it.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
Even there. There are like, AI signing. Like, there are country artists I know that use AI to sign their name on stuff they draw. And then the thing can do it because they're like, I don't want to sign stuff. So they. They do it and it memorizes their signature. And the signature. It does it. And that sucks.
Eddie
Dang. That does suck.
Mike
But there are. If it's. And I could walk you through some of the companies, either it needs to be seen by somebody at the company. There's always a little sticker on it. And you put the code in the sticker and you go. And it says what it is. For the most part. There's a way to make sure it's legit. But if you're just like, Jason Kelsey jersey, 100 bucks. You're like, dang. That's pronounced. And you don't know.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
How the authentication works. Which we do. We did a whole freaking series on it. Check it out. On the YouTube channel.
Casey
That's right. At Bobby Bones Sports.
Mike
That's. That's a lot of Kelsey Travis Kelsey Memorial. I'd be like, oh, I got it. Game worn jersey for sure. Jason Kelsey. That's a lot. About 1100 items. I guess that makes sense. Tom Brady's Florida home may be for sale for 150 million bucks.
Eddie
Kevin.
Kevin
Yeah, I'm in the market.
Mike
Are you?
Kevin
Yeah.
Eddie
He needs more space for the twins.
Kevin
Yeah, exactly. That'll do.
Mike
Do we feel nervous about going to the super bowl, though, in New Orleans?
Eddie
No, no, no.
Mike
Because of terrorist activities. Nothing like that.
Eddie
I don't get scared getting on planes. I don't get scared doing stuff like.
Kevin
That, like, ever, though. Like, I don't really generally. But on planes, you know, you kind of get there for 30 seconds. You're like, oh, get out of there.
Mike
Oh, mentally. Mine is never about Terrorists. It's about crashing.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
Oh, I'm talking about, like blowing stuff up because they're like, at the super bowl, all these people together. New Orleans had the terrorist attack already, right? Do we.
Kevin
That makes me feel safer. If anything in terms of the security will be ramped up even more.
Mike
Have you seen the invisible bombs, though, that they say now?
Eddie
What are you talking about?
Kevin
Oh, my gosh.
Eddie
What are they?
Mike
They're invisible, man. I don't know.
Casey
I've never seen.
Mike
You know that podcast guy who does like, all the. He's bald and he hasn't all like the CIA stuff do you guys ever get on his account?
Kevin
No.
Eddie
Is that CIA stuff's not in my algorithm?
Kevin
Oh, Jocko.
Mike
Oh. A lot of.
Eddie
I'm sure.
Mike
Yeah. He's like, they have these things called invisible bombs and you can see them, but they can get through detectors.
Kevin
It's not in the agency. It wasn't in that, was it?
Mike
Are you done? Did you watch Agency episode? It's awesome.
Kevin
Did you?
Mike
Yeah.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
That shows A plus.
Kevin
Oh, gosh. Yeah. Awesome.
Mike
It's awesome. Do you watch the Diplomat?
Kevin
No.
Mike
On Netflix. You'll like it. You'll. You'll like it. And season one is good. A little slow, but season two is freaking awesome. Similar type vibe. The agency's CIA. Yeah.
Eddie
Now we figured, dude, you love that stuff.
Mike
I don't even know that I love. I always loved it, but I love, love it. There have been a few shows that have been CIA, FBI that have been amazing in the past year and a half or so.
Kevin
Then you start walking around like, oh, I wonder.
Mike
Oh, everybody's up to something. Yeah, I know. For sure. Yeah, for sure. And then we were doing like conspiracy theories on the Biobone show that have been proven true. And there are a lot of those that were like, the US bombed their own stuff in order to get us angry at somebody else.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
And the CIA is very involved in. It's CIA is international. Right. FBI domestic, CIA international. But that doesn't mean they don't have their hands and stuff.
Kevin
All right.
Mike
I just want to be on.
Eddie
Do you know one CIA member? Like anyone that works in CIA?
Mike
No. I know multiple FBI.
Eddie
So do I. So does he even exist?
Mike
Yes.
Eddie
Okay. I think it's just weird that all of us. You probably know an FBI agent, right?
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
You do.
Kevin
Maybe through. No, maybe it's you guys talking. Why do I. I feel like I.
Mike
Know I have a now who is now a friend of mine who is fba, hardcore FBI.
Eddie
My brother in law is an FBI agent.
Kevin
Okay, maybe it's you that talk.
Mike
You Walter White?
Eddie
No.
Mike
Oh.
Eddie
Oh, yeah. He's a DEA agent. His brother in law.
Mike
Oh, is he dea? Dea. Oh, dang. I missed. Oh, yeah, that was FBI shout out, so.
Kevin
No, I guess not. Maybe it's just Eddie talking about it.
Eddie
It's crazy to me that we all. I mean, boat and bones. You and I know an FBI agent, but no one knows a CIA agent.
Mike
Yeah, but most of them are, like, probably overseas.
Eddie
Oh, international.
Mike
And there are some here. Yeah.
Kevin
Because even in the agency, they're in London.
Mike
Yeah. Because that CIA is. I don't even like talking about my FBA agent, Frank, because I don't want to blow them up. I don't want to say anything about them because, like, I don't know what he's. I don't. I don't want to.
Producer
He's on some list or some point. No one in one.
Eddie
You know, I shouldn't have said anything about my brother in law.
Mike
I say FBI.
Eddie
I meant BFI and best friend.
Mike
I meant kfc. It's like, it's not my business.
Eddie
Yeah.
Mike
I don't even introduce him. They're like, what's he do? I'm like law enforcement.
Eddie
Air condition repairman.
Mike
Well, I don't want to lie.
Casey
Wink at him.
Mike
I don't lie. Aha.
Kevin
Like, my AC is broken.
Eddie
Yeah, sorry. He's booked up for two years.
Mike
Agency's awesome, though. So now we got to wait for, like, I know, a year. They. You watch Silo, anybody? Nope. Are you done?
Casey
I haven't watched the second season.
Mike
Okay, then I'll say nothing.
Casey
Night Agent season just came out.
Eddie
Wait, you just watch that one?
Mike
So we watched all season one. We're halfway through season two. What do you think of the Night Agent?
Casey
I'm only on episode three of season one of season two.
Mike
What'd you think? It.
Casey
Season one was incredible.
Mike
I thought it was so corny, dude. Really? I thought it was. My wife and I sit there because we watch, like, real CIA stuff. That's what it feels like. And we were like, we can predict the storyline all the way through.
Casey
Yeah, that's true. That's true.
Mike
And I don't know if we're CIA snobs now.
Casey
Yeah.
Mike
But I love the premise and we liked it because we stayed with it, but it was so. Okay. We just need a break to happen. Well, here's a book we've never looked in. Let's look in this book. Oh, the clue is right here. Like, it's like, oh, here's a birthday card from someone. Let's track it. And they track the birthday. It's. Everything was.
Casey
So I see it.
Mike
Abcd predictable. Not that it was bad, but it just. You could predict everything.
Casey
Yeah.
Mike
So far, season two, it feels a little better, though. Yeah.
Casey
I haven't been able to predict any people that are secretive or, you know, questionable. So, like, I have no idea, like, what's going on the second season.
Mike
Honestly, I'm so annoying when I watch a show because I just throw out theories the whole time, and I'll throw out two theories, and if I'm right about any of them, I claim credit at the end.
Eddie
I told you.
Mike
Yeah. My wife hates when I do this. Oh, my gosh. Okay, we're. I'll get two things, and then we're gonna. I mean, we could do a little Connect 4 and see how it goes on.
Kevin
I can't get that thing out of my vision.
Mike
We need to probably flip it, though this way. Right, so you can see the.
Eddie
Yeah, so we can see it. Sure.
Kevin
Yeah.
Casey
Oh, yeah, yeah, we can do it.
Mike
Unless you have a keyboard. We'll leave it like that.
Eddie
We'll just angle it.
Mike
Okay, so two things I want to mention. One, I just got invited, and I'm not sure how real this is. I took a picture of it. I don't think it's a scam, but it says invitation. Super Bowl Lix commissioner's party.
Kevin
No.
Eddie
Dang. That's gotta be real.
Mike
I want to personally invite you to the Super Bowl LAX commissioner's party at. I'll leave it out on one of the days we're there. Please click below the rsvp. We're looking forward to seeing you there. Roger.
Eddie
Roger.
Mike
It says Roger. I'm sure it was sent out by, like, not Roger.
Kevin
Not Roger, but Mr. Goodell himself.
Mike
I've met him once. Like, most firm handshake I ever shook. He's a big dude. Most firm handshake I've ever shook.
Kevin
I'm shaking my hand.
Eddie
I have.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
Very clammy and pretty weak.
Eddie
Nervous.
Mike
That's one. And then two is we're not gonna be able to do. I know. We're doing the Connect Four. We're not gonna be able to. The ball. The 100 pound ball. So that's how we're doing the £50. I just want to let all the listeners know because they're coming up with ideas.
Kevin
He's still in, this guy. Or the sling.
Mike
Eddie's arm.
Eddie
We're good.
Mike
Eddie's arm is broken. And you're not working out with this.
Eddie
I'm not. Not. Not of. As of. I would say in two weeks, I'll probably be ready to come back a little bit. But the doctor said don't do anything until you come to your checkup.
Mike
But mostly you shouldn't come back if you can't come back.
Eddie
Well, no, what I'm saying is, mostly is, like, I can lift with my other arm. I can probably do squats, but if I do any kind of reflex stuff with my broken hand, I can. The muscle could knock it out of place.
Mike
Last Thursday reading, I were working out, and Reed was like, it is so much better without Eddie here.
Kevin
Yeah.
Eddie
That's the second time you've said that.
Mike
That's what he said.
Eddie
Why is that, Reed?
Casey
You know, I don't know. I just feel more confident. I feel like I can lift more weights.
Mike
I mean, he was just like. We took a lot of surges.
Casey
Yeah.
Mike
I think we were getting a lot done, and it was kind of like, man, we got a lot done with that Eddie here. Something like that.
Eddie
He turns around and comes to me and says, man, I'm so glad, like, you're doing workouts with us, because when there's three people, we get more rest time. So I don't know what to believe.
Mike
So we're only going Tuesday Thursdays now. I know you're not here.
Eddie
Oh, really? Because I'm not there.
Mike
Sure.
Eddie
Huh.
Mike
Feels good. That feels like a nice thing to say. So. Yeah.
Eddie
Wow, Man.
Mike
So only doing. So we were going Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. We're doing Tuesday Thursdays for now with Klug, but we'll see what happens when you come back.
Eddie
What is that? What does that mean? We'll see what happens?
Mike
I don't know.
Eddie
Oh, we'll go back to three.
Mike
If I'm going to go. I don't know. I. I need to, like, box or do yoga or something. My.
Eddie
I need to, like, instead of lift heavy like, we do, supplement that Third lifting day.
Mike
Another we thing was funny to hear. What do you mean they lift heavy like we do?
Eddie
Oh, dude. We lift heavy, dude.
Mike
Yeah, maybe I could do it, but I'm usually. We're gone on a lot of Fridays. I am. And what if we do golf?
Eddie
Like, what if we walk around?
Mike
Oh, I know. Also, it's pickleball, Right? Pickleball will come back. And I want to have days to play pickleball, because that's a grind, too, Because I plan on trying to go, probably.
Eddie
Maybe I think you can.
Casey
Out of the Olympics.
Mike
Is It Olympics.
Casey
It will be.
Eddie
You do own a team. Could you just tell them, like, I want to be.
Mike
Oh, man.
Eddie
A player.
Mike
No, you can't just do that.
Kevin
One weekend tournament, but.
Mike
So paddle is, I think, probably going to be an Olympic sport, which is like pickleball, or it's like a pickleball, but with a racquetball around it. You guys have seen paddle?
Eddie
I've seen it.
Mike
I was. I was a really good racquetball player. That excites me. I think I can listen. I don't know. I think I can make a run playing football, get a train. I think give it a run. Because I'm not. Or I just need to learn my lesson the hard way. Either way, I think I need to train. I think I'm going to possibly hire a coach. Dang. To train and to see if I really can be as good as I think I have the potential to be. Not that I am, but the potential. Because a lot of it's strategy.
Eddie
Sure.
Mike
And I feel like I'm able to compute pretty fast in the old brainer, and I think that helps. Now, do I. Can I stay uninjured? Am I as quick as I think I am?
Eddie
Maybe not like the age thing. Like, are the pro pickleball players, are they still youngish or are they older guys, too?
Mike
They're really great. Great ones are youngish. But there are some pro players that are 40. Even in the female part, that's 50, I just identify as a female and go play there.
Eddie
Oh, that'd be fine, too.
Kevin
Yeah.
Mike
Why not do whatever you want. Ufc, Ladybugs.
Eddie
Is that Ronnie Danger Soccer?
Kevin
Oh, yeah.
Eddie
God, I remember that movie.
Mike
So, yeah, that's what's up.
Eddie
No respect around here.
Kevin
That's pretty good.
Mike
You want to set up first game?
Eddie
Yes. Let me set, read.
Mike
Who did you. Who did. Oh, it's Rita. Mike, you want to do. Kevin, can you hop back there in the room? Yeah. Do we need anybody back there? Mike, are we airing this or just need to record it? We're. We may put this on the air. We'll see how it goes. Okay. But we're going to run the cameras. Yeah. Just the monitor levels.
Casey
There we go.
Mike
Okay. Kevin, you walk back.
Kevin
Yep.
Mike
So whoever loses this will be one of the two. Who's going first?
Producer
You are.
Mike
Okay. You and Mike, let's do it. And we're gonna flip the this. You'll be able to watch all this on video. All right, I'm flip the coin here to see who goes first. Now, Reed, you can Pick your color first.
Kevin
Oh, yeah.
Mike
I'm gonna go red. Okay. Reed's gonna go red. It's the old Connect four game here. And since Reed picked a color, I will let Mike call the coin flip. Like the NFL. The head. This is a buffalo nickel. Hold on.
Eddie
Don't move it. I set the cameras. The head is the way.
Mike
It is a native American.
Eddie
Yep.
Mike
The tails is a buffalo. Mike, you get to call the coin flip because Reed picked the color. Which would you like, heads or tails? Heads. Always heads. There you go. First or second person we'll get to pick.
Producer
Let's see here it is.
Mike
Heads.
Producer
It is heads.
Mike
Now, Mike, would you like to go first or second with your yellow? I would like to go first with yellow. Okay. And do we have good camera view on this?
Eddie
We got good camera view.
Casey
The posture's not great, actually.
Eddie
Mike, can you scoot your chair this way a little bit? That's perfect right there.
Mike
Are we ready to go? Mike, you will go first. All right. And the loser is one of the two that will not be one of the four tickets. Okay, and action. Mike goes with the yellow in the middle.
Casey
He's going middle.
Producer
Wise choice.
Eddie
Is there a time, I think it's.
Mike
Like chess where you, like, hit it quick. Reed goes beside him. Mike goes the double yellow on the bottom.
Producer
Okay.
Eddie
Mike's already got two connected.
Casey
Okay.
Mike
Mike's waited his whole life for this. Reed traps him. So it's red, yellow, yellow, red on the bottom.
Eddie
Good block.
Mike
Mike's thinking a lot here. Probably thinking way too much.
Casey
Too much strategy going on here.
Mike
Mike knows one false move.
Casey
Okay. Okay.
Mike
Reads go on the stack. He's the first person to go to that second row.
Eddie
Reed has two connected.
Mike
Wow. Two more read. And you. I guess if you win, you're in, though just automatically if you win, you're in.
Casey
You have to lose two to be eliminated.
Mike
If Reed wins or Mike wins, they are.
Eddie
But Reed has been practicing.
Mike
Well, Mike has known about it too, though, to be practice. He's not been doing anything, though. All right. Mike's thinking of the hole to put it in, as I always do.
Eddie
Smart.
Mike
Okay. He's up on the second row as well. He's now connected to at the angle.
Eddie
Okay, stop saying that, though, because maybe the other person doesn't see it.
Mike
Oh, that's a good point.
Kevin
I was gonna say that.
Eddie
So we should probably stop at this point.
Mike
That's a good point. From here, we'll cut audio, and we'll tell you in a little bit who won. My good friend Dang it.
Kevin
Yes.
Mike
He had him.
Casey
Suck it, Japan.
Mike
He had him two moves ago. Mike wins. Had Reed not gone there. Mike had him. Had Reed gone there to block? Mike had him. I saw him to set it up both ways and I was like, he's gonna take the bait.
Kevin
He's gonna go for it.
Mike
I got in.
Producer
Brilliant.
Mike
Mike is going to the super well deserved. Good game, Reed. Good game, Reed.
Casey
I still got one more chance, baby. I still got one more chance.
Eddie
After all that practice. Reed, it was.
Casey
There's no practice. It was just let me play at.
Mike
The bar you talked about.
Casey
It was letting me know how bad I am at this game. It was just making me lose confidence.
Mike
Wow.
Eddie
So next game is me and Kevin. Winner of that goes Super Bowl.
Mike
Winner of that goes.
Eddie
I love it.
Mike
Mike has just secured himself a ticket to the Super Bowl.
Producer
Let's go, Mike.
Eddie
I would clap for you, dude, but I only have one arm.
Mike
Okay.
Eddie
Okay. Want to move over there?
Mike
Yeah.
Eddie
Reed, I need you to run cameras, please. And everything's set up here. So I have to do is click and take side. I'll show you. Come here. Literally this camera funny. That camera to that camera.
Casey
Oh, nice.
Eddie
And then if you want Bobby, he's one dude.
Mike
That's funny. Dang. Mike set him up for a double. I didn't. Mike, did. You see you had it too in. I thought if you ever chest. You didn't say checkmate as soon as you dropped that one. Cuz you had him no matter what he did. I was just trying to give no indication that I was setting them up.
Casey
Yeah, I didn't see one of them of them clearly.
Mike
Yeah. Dude, you got doubled up. Double up. Okay, so Kevin, would you like red or yellow?
Kevin
Yellow.
Mike
Eddie, you get to call the coin flip.
Eddie
Love it.
Mike
Heads or tails?
Eddie
You ready?
Mike
I'm flipping it.
Eddie
Tails never fails.
Mike
It is head. So Kevin, you'll go first or second. You get to pick. I'll go.
Kevin
I'll go first.
Mike
Okay, go ahead. And now we're starting the second game. Kevin will go first with the yellows. And he's in. In the middle spot. And Eddie stacks on top of him. And from here we'll cut till the end. We'll bring him back at the end.
Eddie
Okay, we're gonna cut. I'm gonna put my mic down. Is that okay?
Mike
It's still gonna be on cam.
Eddie
Okay, well just. I'm having a hard time holding it.
Mike
That's true.
Kevin

Eddie
I cannot believe he didn't see that.
Mike
Me either. We were all looking. Casey and I looked at each other. We're like, Kevin picked the mic up. It's like at the end of the game, we talked to the coaches.
Eddie
Oh, my goodness.
Mike
How do you feel after that loss?
Kevin
You know, I thought I was in this one. It was a good game. Gotta give him credit where credit's due.
Eddie
Hell of a game.
Kevin
Hell of a game. And that's tough, man. That's tough. But we're still in it.
Mike
We still got a shot. You're still in it.
Eddie
Still in it.
Mike
So me and Reed, Mike. Well, you're not playing now. Reed for the loser. Loser.
Casey

Mike
Okay, good. Yes. Okay.
Eddie
Oh, my God. That's amazing.
Mike

Eddie
So now I can tell people I'm going to the super bowl because it's been so awkward. People are like, hey, yeah, I might go to the Super Bowl. You might?
Producer

Eddie

Mike
Mike, you can hit her outro music. Because you got to. You can go watch the full games on YouTube. Yeah, you didn't. You heard, like, the beginning and the end of the games. But as you heard, Mike D and Eddie both won super bowl tickets today.

Eddie
We played Connect 4 to go to the Super Bowl. Unbelievable.
Mike

Kevin

Kevin
Yeah, I wouldn't feel like I'm not.
Casey
Gonna pass it over. No chance.
Mike
But I'm. Oh, okay, good.
Eddie
Yeah. Don't get it twisted.
Casey
Ah, no. Come on.
Mike
Well, next episode later this week.
Eddie

Casey

Eddie
Operation was a good idea.
Mike
