I feel like they went out of the way to not give Mahomes certain calls last night because they know that's been what's happening. So the one call everybody wants to focus on so everybody can have their opinion on it and we will go around the room and let everybody have their opinion is the Josh Allen sneak. Midfield did not get it. It was a bit of a tush push sneak type situation. Kevin, give us your opinion first. But let's all be completely transparent. Kevin did bet on the Bills.

You got Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City on the other side. You can't get it right. So as they're driving, try to put the game away, possibly because they're up 1 at that point, I believe you got to give the ball back to Patrick Mahomes. They can't get this. And they didn't get it. Patrick scores. And I will say, though, the Bills, why the heck did you keep going for that sneak when it wasn't working? But they did get that sneak.

Look, those are always so hard. I'm not there. Like, we see it on tv. We don't even know where the cameras line lined up. Right. Like, what angle do we have? Yes. Did one ref from the bottom have one line? The ref from the. It looked like the guy on the top, though, had a line. And then a player got in his way and he was like, oh, shoot, I got to make up a line. And he kind of moved back where he shouldn't have been. Honestly, I think he did get the first down. If I was the ref, I probably would have given him the first down, but honestly, I don't know. Dude, we're. We're at home. We don't know what kind of TV angles we're getting. So I say he got it, though.

Do you think it was rigged?

[Eddie]

No. No. This is the first year I've thought that none of the NFL games have been rigged. This is the first year because you're right. I think that if they wanted to rig anything, Louisiana would have gone to the Super Bowl. Louisiana probably would have won the Super Bowl. In honor of the wildfire.

[Mike]

I can agree with that. In honor of them. Yes.

[Eddie]

I can agree with that. Okay, Casey, you're on the clock.

Yeah, I mean, I had the Chiefs winning, so I guess I'm happy with the result. But I mean, that definitely looked like a first down to me. So I understand that it was a high leverage situation and one ref had one spot, the other ref had the other spot, and they kind of met in the middle and it was a little short. It is what it is. I still think the Bills kind of just, you know, lost that game. They had a chance to win it, and if they're going to complain that that one call was the difference maker, I think they got a suck it up, you know.

[Mike]

So I did bet on Kansas City. I want everybody to know because if I'm going to give my opinion, you should know where my money was, by the way. I went 10 for 11 and betting.

I was on freaking fire.

You got that parlay early too.

[Mike]

That touchdown parlay, the one I did, the parlay I didn't hit was Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelsey, both scoring a touchdown. I bet 200 bucks for like 1200. And Hunt scored the first drive.

Yeah, he did.

And I was like, boys, we're about to hit hard because I hit a three gamer a three touchdowner the game before Terry McLaren, Jaylen Herz, and Saquon, all to score a touchdown.

I thought I was about to go 11 for 11 on the day, so. But I. I went 10 for 11, I made like $3,000, which is dang awesome. But here's the thing. And you look at my stats. If you want to see them, I'll show them to you. I'm still down like 1500 bucks because I had a really bad. I was so cold at the beginning of January. I needed that yesterday to kind of get back in the.

Climbing back in.

[Mike]

Yeah. But I had a great day. I did bet on Kansas City to win. So I watched the play. The ref that had the actual angle had the shorter spot.

[Eddie]

Is he the bottom one or the top one? Watching the TV guy caught the bottom.

[Mike]

Because he had the actual open. He could see the ball from his side. The guy from the top could see Josh Allen's back. So his spot was a little more generous. But it was like three inches. Right. So they go and they use the spot of the guy that could see Josh Allen's chest, although a lot of the ball was covered. So then they decided to go and review it. Now, the thing about the review is if they can't 100% reverse it, they won't. I think had they given him a better spot at the beginning, it would have stayed a first down because I don't think you could really see. A jury couldn't convict it because it wasn't 100. Do I think he probably got it? Yeah. Probably about like an inch of the football.

Yeah.

[Mike]

If it was like. I just think we need sensors on the freaking ball. Yes.

[Eddie]

And the lines.

[Mike]

I. So do I think he got it? Yes. And probably just barely. But they can't reverse that if it's so close and there's any doubt. So I think it was the right call upon review. A very difficult call whenever you're calling it. But the right ref had the right spot because he was the one that could see it. But that's also not the play that lost the game. There were many plays because they could. They should have got the play before that. They were just the two point conversion sneak.

Yeah.

[Mike]

What the heck was. He was like running the option almost to get to that left side, pitch.

[Producer]

It to the guy.

[Mike]

There was a lot. But I can definitely understand Buffalo fans being frustrated with that.

[Kevin]

But.

But I don't think I didn't see anything last night that I thought was great ammunition for the. They're really working to help Patrick Mahomes. I even thought Mahomes knew he wasn't going to get the calls. So he was going down earlier. He was getting out of bounds quicker because there were ref. I think There were refs, like old refs even talking about it, going into it, going, hey, we want to make sure that it's a physical game. The refs want to make sure it's a physical game and they don't want it to be left to the refs. For all of this controversy. Was he getting calls the week before? For sure. Brady and Mahomes, we did this. They got all. They get all the calls.

[Kevin]

What do we do?

[Mike]

You get all the calls. But I don't think that there was a crazy Kansas City bias yesterday. If anything, I think Mahomes of Kansas City knew there wouldn't be. So they had to overly do things the right way. There were no flops. There were no late slides. There was a terrible spike. I laughed out loud with my own.

[Eddie]

What was he trying to do there?

[Mike]

He's trying to change his mind in.

[Eddie]

The middle of it.

[Mike]

I saw he was asked about it after and he goes, that's why I don't spike the ball. He's trying to spike the ball and it like slips out of his hand. He, like throws it six yards instead.

It was awkward.

But how about that? Another great game between those two.

I mean, I wish. I wish that was a Super bowl, you know, Like, I feel like I just wish the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills would be the Super Bowl.

Josh Allen, that's four losses, two Mahomes.

[Eddie]

So it's. It's done, right? Like we. We now know who King Dingling is.

[Mike]

Well, I think we knew, but Josh Allen has had success in the regular season and the Bills had a. There have been times that he's lost him in the divisional round when Kansas City was the better team and it was a Josh Allen L to a better Mahomes Kansas City offense. I still think Josh Allen's probably the second best quarterback with Lamar. I mean, I don't think anyone's going. He's not. But that's the monkey on his back now. Lamar's is the playoffs. Josh Allen's is Patrick Mahomes. That's it.

[Kevin]

Yeah, because he puts up the same numbers essentially, like in their head to head in those four matchups. It's pretty similar.

[Mike]

Plays really well.

[Kevin]

Really well. Like, Lamar doesn't play that well.

Where Josh Allen actually plays even better. Not better than Mahomes, but I'm saying better than Lamar.

It's a good game. It had a Super bowl type feel, though. Even like in the third quarter.

I felt like I was watching a Patriots game. I was, like, so tight the whole time. I was like, what the heck?

Well, I don't understand why they didn't use them more on the fourth.

They did at the end. They tried. They gave him the ball like, five times in a row, but.

Yeah. Jalen Hurts played great. I've heard. Go back. He did a few hours. He played great. Saquon dude. Earl. Like, first series.

Yeah, I understand that it's fair and I don't think there is a disadvantage for anyone, but I think the reason that the tush push became, I think it was a timing and a personnel, like all coming together because you're talking about a quarterback that can squat a gazillion pounds. We're getting married in June, so we've got to go wherever her residency program takes her.

So if you do want two years to rebuild your team and maybe kind of we're going to lose the next couple of years, we're going to have a Schottenheimer as our head coach, we'll rebuild, and then we'll try to make the playoffs in year three. Possibly that's what they're thinking.

But to me, I don't think it's a placeholder. Like, I think Pete Carroll's a placeholder with the Raiders. Oh, really?

What's pretty crazy is he is the 10th head coach the Dallas Cowboys have had when it. Just realize how young of a franchise they are. He's the 10th head coach.

Okay, I like him, but you have to start working immediately. And we did all this work during Christmas break, and then they delayed it. So Matt and I. My point with the story is Matt Castle and I, we've. We had never hung out. We've only been together working here and then in my house, though. And I like them, but it's like, we'll talk a little before and after, but it's always like, work, work, work. Well, finally he was like, dude, let's just go hang out. And so we went to lunch on Friday. And it's pretty cool to talk to somebody that, like, knows actual stuff, because what crap do we know?

We just watch and have opinions. And I got, like, a few people I know that have. But really to talk to, like, somebody who played for that long, who has all. Kellen. He knows Kellen Moore. He played with Kellen Moore? Was Kellen Moore. Yeah. Played with him.

Yeah. So he's like, I know.

I'm just saying there are people I know are smarter than us that believe that believe there's an opportunity for him to do well.

I feel that way because right now, I'm not believing in anything. So I appreciate that.

Three people were busted trying to sell $200,000 worth of fake Jason Kelsey memorabilia.

Was so much that even his wife took off.

Taylor is what super launched them. They already had a successful podcast for sure, but they didn't pop into, like, the pop culture.

But when. When Travis started daily dating Taylor, you know, a rising tide brings up all ships and all those ships wildly famed. He got a show on espn.

So all that's happening. So I can see where his memorial would be worth more. But I mean, really, how much Jason Kelsey memorabilia? Yeah, that's crazy. So, yeah, anyway, 200,000 bucks worth of fake Jason Kelsey memorabilia. Authorities say Branco and June 24 attended an autograph signing in Pennsylvania where Kelsey Was present taking a photo with the pro bowl lineman in order to validate her in the presence of authentication. And then there was stuff that was forged on it, but she took a picture with them to go like, look, this is me in the presence. I can say. Ultima officials say the fake items were sold through two sports memorabilia businesses. After items were sold, authorities say a local police department was tipped that something was wrong. Jail. Out on jail. What's it called?

[Kevin]

Bail.

[Eddie]

Bail.

[Mike]

Bail bond, whatever it is.

[Eddie]

Yeah.

[Mike]

Over 1100 items, including helmets, jerseys, photos, footballs, advertising them as real.

[Eddie]

I feel like it would be so easy to do that. Just sell fake memorabilia and say it was real.

Yes and no. Yes. Draw stuff on it.

Even there. There are like, AI signing. Like, there are country artists I know that use AI to sign their name on stuff they draw. And then the thing can do it because they're like, I don't want to sign stuff. So they. They do it and it memorizes their signature. And the signature. It does it. And that sucks.

But there are. If it's. And I could walk you through some of the companies, either it needs to be seen by somebody at the company. There's always a little sticker on it. And you put the code in the sticker and you go. And it says what it is. For the most part. There's a way to make sure it's legit. But if you're just like, Jason Kelsey jersey, 100 bucks. You're like, dang. That's pronounced. And you don't know.

I'm not. Not. Not of. As of. I would say in two weeks, I'll probably be ready to come back a little bit. But the doctor said don't do anything until you come to your checkup.

[Mike]

But mostly you shouldn't come back if you can't come back.

[Eddie]

Well, no, what I'm saying is, mostly is, like, I can lift with my other arm. I can probably do squats, but if I do any kind of reflex stuff with my broken hand, I can. The muscle could knock it out of place.

[Mike]

Last Thursday reading, I were working out, and Reed was like, it is so much better without Eddie here.

[Kevin]

Yeah.

[Eddie]

That's the second time you've said that.

[Mike]

That's what he said.

[Eddie]

Why is that, Reed?

[Casey]

You know, I don't know. I just feel more confident. I feel like I can lift more weights.

[Mike]

I mean, he was just like. We took a lot of surges.

[Casey]

Yeah.

[Mike]

I think we were getting a lot done, and it was kind of like, man, we got a lot done with that Eddie here. Something like that.

[Eddie]

He turns around and comes to me and says, man, I'm so glad, like, you're doing workouts with us, because when there's three people, we get more rest time. So I don't know what to believe.

[Mike]

So we're only going Tuesday Thursdays now. I know you're not here.

[Eddie]

Oh, really? Because I'm not there.

[Mike]

Sure.

[Eddie]

Huh.

[Mike]

Feels good. That feels like a nice thing to say. So. Yeah.

[Eddie]

Wow, Man.

[Mike]

So only doing. So we were going Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. We're doing Tuesday Thursdays for now with Klug, but we'll see what happens when you come back.

[Eddie]

If I'm going to go. I don't know. I. I need to, like, box or do yoga or something. My.

I need to, like, instead of lift heavy like, we do, supplement that Third lifting day.

Another we thing was funny to hear. What do you mean they lift heavy like we do?

Oh, dude. We lift heavy, dude.

Yeah, maybe I could do it, but I'm usually. We're gone on a lot of Fridays. I am. And what if we do golf?

[Mike]

Oh, I know. Also, it's pickleball, Right? Pickleball will come back. And I want to have days to play pickleball, because that's a grind, too, Because I plan on trying to go, probably.

[Eddie]

Maybe I think you can.

[Casey]

Out of the Olympics.

[Mike]

Is It Olympics.

[Casey]

It will be.

[Eddie]

You do own a team. Could you just tell them, like, I want to be.

[Mike]

Oh, man.

[Eddie]

No, you can't just do that.

[Kevin]

One weekend tournament, but.

[Mike]

So paddle is, I think, probably going to be an Olympic sport, which is like pickleball, or it's like a pickleball, but with a racquetball around it. You guys have seen paddle?

[Eddie]

I've seen it.

[Mike]

I was. I was a really good racquetball player. That excites me. I think I can listen. I don't know. I think I can make a run playing football, get a train. I think give it a run. Because I'm not. Or I just need to learn my lesson the hard way. Either way, I think I need to train. I think I'm going to possibly hire a coach. Dang. To train and to see if I really can be as good as I think I have the potential to be. Not that I am, but the potential. Because a lot of it's strategy.

[Eddie]

Sure.

[Mike]

And I feel like I'm able to compute pretty fast in the old brainer, and I think that helps. Now, do I. Can I stay uninjured? Am I as quick as I think I am?

[Eddie]

Maybe not like the age thing. Like, are the pro pickleball players, are they still youngish or are they older guys, too?

[Mike]

They're really great. Great ones are youngish. But there are some pro players that are 40. Even in the female part, that's 50, I just identify as a female and go play there.

[Eddie]

Oh, that'd be fine, too.

[Kevin]

Yeah.

[Mike]

Why not do whatever you want. Ufc, Ladybugs.

[Eddie]

Is that Ronnie Danger Soccer?

[Kevin]

Oh, yeah.

[Eddie]

Mike, can you scoot your chair this way a little bit? That's perfect right there.

Are we ready to go? Mike, you will go first. All right. And the loser is one of the two that will not be one of the four tickets. Okay, and action. Mike goes with the yellow in the middle.

[Eddie]
