Dallas Goddard
No.
Bobby Bones
Then let's let you do it by yourself. You deserve this, Casey. Oh, yeah. This is Casey by himself. So during the gap, you yell sports. Okay.
Dallas Goddard
Do you know what gap we're talking about? No.
Bobby Bones
Okay, well, it's on you to find it. Okay, ready? Go, Mike. This is a podcast called 25 Whistles Talking.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, no.
Casey
Oh, shit.
Dallas Goddard
Wow.
Bobby Bones
Wow. Okay, you heard it, though, now, Now I heard it.
Casey
Okay.
Bobby Bones
He was looking at us like that.
Casey
I know.
Dallas Goddard
I was, like, waiting, man.
Bobby Bones
I was like, what's going on? And go.
Dallas Goddard
All right.
Bobby Bones
This is a podcast called 25 Whistles Talking Sports.
Dallas Goddard
Yes.
Bobby Bones
And they all wear a whistle. Yeah. It's stupid, but what did you expect? It's a podcast called 25 Whistles.
Dallas Goddard
25 Whist.
Bobby Bones
Welcome, Eddie. Blow it.
Dallas Goddard
Here we go.
Bobby Bones
I'm gonna start with me getting triggered on Twitter. Well, it wasn't that bad. Sometimes when I get triggered, it gets really bad.
Dallas Goddard
They talk about the hogs?
Bobby Bones
No.
Dallas Goddard
Pickleball.
Bobby Bones
So I have these meta glasses that I was wearing during pickleball yesterday, and I would just turn them on at times. They're prescription, so it took a while to get in, but you can just hit a button and it records. Now you can't record like an hour, but you can record, you know, 15 seconds there, 30 seconds there. And so George Burges was over yesterday. We were hitting the pickleball, and I wrote, first day back with the pickle. Plan on going pro this year in singles using meta glasses for improvement notes. And really, I was just showing how cool the glasses are. And so Jason Miller says, you need to come up to the net if you plan on being a serious player. Okay, shut up, Jason.
Dallas Goddard
He was talking about your placement on the court, like, where you're standing also.
Bobby Bones
I'm just hitting the ball, right? It doesn't matter. I said, you ain't serious. You've been playing that doubles. Wee Wee Life. I'm playing a man's version.
Dallas Goddard
Nice. Got him.
Bobby Bones
And then some guy named Jason Scott, wrestling comes in after that and goes, any good player would come up to the net in singles and pick you apart, find some real competition.
Dallas Goddard
Dang.
Bobby Bones
And I said, you talk a lot by looking at your pictures. You don't do anything athletic. Well. And I wrote that before I even looked at his pictures.
Dallas Goddard
Is he ripped?
Bobby Bones
No, but I think he's like a wrestling coach or something.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, okay.
Bobby Bones
He definitely was some sort of athlete. I don't know that I just say that I'm just in the. Let me trigger them back mode at that point, because I'm just hitting a ball. I didn't even say we're like in the middle of a game. We're just smacking the ball, getting. We're playing a little more than a game. I mean, a little less than. A little more than getting loose, but a little less than a game because we're just first time back. So we're just getting some reps in. And so he writes, ha. I was a D1 athlete for four years.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, boy.
Bobby Bones
So I say, I'll play you. I'll come to you. $1,000 money needs to be put in an account before I get there. I'll do the same.
Dallas Goddard
Did you see where he lived?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. A lot of his stuff was Ohio based.
Dallas Goddard
Okay.
Bobby Bones
On his pictures, so we can get there. So he says, man, you're triggered. Well, first of all, you must have been triggered to write under someone's random video talking garbage about their pickleball game. He said, let's go. Come up to Cleveland. Let's play. Home court is Lifetime Fitness any weekend in April. Last time Tennessee came up north, we saw what happened. I'm not a Vols fan.
Dallas Goddard
Okay.
Bobby Bones
That doesn't affect me.
Casey
Oh, Lord.
Bobby Bones
So, like, I'm in.
Dallas Goddard
You're representing Tennessee, man.
Bobby Bones
No, I'm representing me. I'm not representing Tennessee.
Dallas Goddard
Showdowns in Cleveland. Does he. Does I need to be in his. Why doesn't he come to you? Oh, I guess because you said no.
Bobby Bones
I said I'll come to him, but. But I'm not going up there until his money is in an account. So if he wants. And I may lose. I don't know how good he is. I may lose, but this is. I'm willing to do it.
Dallas Goddard
This is fun.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So I'm gonna respond right now. I'm in. The money needs to be. I gotta make sure I go up on a weekend in April. The money needs to be deposited in an account first because I don't want you. No showing.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, that's like the Annie.
Bobby Bones
I'll do the same. Deal. Send.
Dallas Goddard
And what's the amount?
Bobby Bones
Thousand.
Dallas Goddard
That's awesome. We need to check with Lifetime Fitness soon. Do you have a membership? Do we need to get you a membership?
Bobby Bones
You probably get a day pass. He'd probably bring me as a guest.
Dallas Goddard
Okay. Make sure you go all the way to Cleveland. You can't get in there.
Bobby Bones
But I'm not. We'd probably find a Different court we could play on, though, because they may not let me bring all you guys because we have to go in. We have to shoot it.
Dallas Goddard
You can't have five guests.
Bobby Bones
He may have, like, his people there. I need my people there. I'm looking. I'm just gonna be real honest here. I'm going to his page, and it's a bunch. I think he's a wrestling coach, but I don't see him. I just see a bunch of, like, wrestling kids.
Dallas Goddard
So.
Bobby Bones
But anyway, I was so triggered. I was just like, let's just throw money at it and go down. So I don't know.
Dallas Goddard
Did he say what is. What his sport was?
Bobby Bones
It has to be wrestling because he's a wrestling coach.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, but you're playing pickleball, so. Okay, whatever. Yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
See if you can find him. Jason Scott. See if you can find, like, his background is you looking out. Kevin Jason Scott wrestling is his Twitter. It's under Scott underscore wrestling. But see if you can find him, like, wrestling at Ohio State or something. I'm not scared.
Dallas Goddard
This is awesome.
Bobby Bones
And I think it would be a fun bit to do, too. And if I lose, I will take and I will tip my hat to somebody who talk crap, because most people that talk crap can't back it up. And if he ends up beating me, I'm wish it was somebody that could have backed it up, but I'm in.
Dallas Goddard
So what's. What are we date we looking at roughly?
Bobby Bones
He said any weekend in April.
Dallas Goddard
April. So it gives you time to kind of train a little bit.
Bobby Bones
I'm already going to be working out, practicing.
Dallas Goddard
So is the weather going to be warm, like, from here on out, or are we kind of just getting lucky?
Bobby Bones
I think it's good. I mean, I think it won't be as today's gonna be. Really good. Yeah. But I think it won't be this good all the time for the next few weeks. But I think it stays pretty good. Like. Like high or low 50s coming up. But I think now we've. Without some crazy front coming in, we're pretty much at the worst. 50, 48, 49, 50. Good at the best. 60s. Yeah, I'm done with that. Yeah, that cold. Yeah, it sucks.
Dallas Goddard
How excited were you when you saw, like, sun and warm? You're like, I get to play pickleball.
Bobby Bones
I was so excited that I just text George yesterday out of nowhere. I was like, hey, I'm about to hop out on the court and hit some balls. I text Reed, too. Reed's like, I have diarrhea.
Casey
Yeah.
Dallas Goddard
What?
Casey
I took a laxative and it was not a good idea.
Bobby Bones
I was trying to clear myself out, man. Oh, all right. I text them raids like a cant and George is like, I'm in. So George came over and we hit some balls and played a little bit. That was it. It was so last minute. It was awesome. But I'm going to see if you can find more about this information. You looking about Kevin? Yeah, I'm looking on your Twitter right now, the post, and I don't see him. Just go under that post and just follow it down. Yeah. Okay. We have Wade Phillips coming up. Dallas Cowboys, former head coach.
Dallas Goddard
Pretty cool.
Bobby Bones
Now coaching in the ufl.
Dallas Goddard
The son of Bum Phillips.
Bobby Bones
You've been watching much college basketball?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, yeah. Every. Pretty much every day. Sundays are. They don't have like. There's only like four or five games going on Sunday, but that's it.
Bobby Bones
I won't spend a whole bunch of time talking about it. I have also been watching a decent amount, Mostly SEC games. 90 SEC games.
Dallas Goddard
SEC is playing. I mean, they're awesome.
Bobby Bones
They're gonna have 12 or 13 teams in the tournament.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Which is wild because Arkansas has a great chance to get in and they won't even be 500 in conference. But all the teams are so good. Supposedly they're going to put a lot in. Auburn is the favorite to want it all at plus 360.
Dallas Goddard
They're so dominant.
Bobby Bones
Duke at plus 370. They're so, so much one and two that the next one up, Houston's at plus 800.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. And Houston's. You know, you never know you're going to get. When you see Houston.
Bobby Bones
They think that two SEC teams will be the two, two one seeds of the four.
Dallas Goddard
Wow.
Bobby Bones
Florida, Bama, Tennessee coming in at four or five and six on the betting odds selection. Sundays, March 16th at 6:00pm Eastern on CBS. So that's fun. Another story, the Steve Smith story, blows my mind.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. Affair.
Bobby Bones
Steve says was banging some dude's wife.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And he found out and just threw it all on the Internet.
Dallas Goddard
He did it. He. He let it out.
Bobby Bones
The husband did. The husband did it.
Dallas Goddard
The husband did.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Dallas Goddard
On Earth.
Bobby Bones
Wild. So over the weekend, former NFL wide receiver Steve Smith took a beating on social media. Tony Martinez unloaded with accusations and apparent receipts accusing Smith of getting more than a little friendly with his wife, Nicole Martinez. Not only did Martinez post screenshots of what appear to be graphic texts between Smith and his wife, he also posted a video where he called Steve Smith. And he's like, hey, man, you slept with my wife. And Steve Smith goes, I'm sorry.
Dallas Goddard
Whoa.
Bobby Bones
That's all.
Dallas Goddard
Whoa.
Bobby Bones
There's really been no public comment, but it was some dirty stuff. The article, I'm reading it from Yahoo. Where Steve Smith was like, I just want to fill that wet pee.
Dallas Goddard
What on earth. Apparently, is Steve Smith married? Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yes. With kids. And apparently she played in the Carolina Panther band.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, okay. The. Like the NFL, they have a band.
Bobby Bones
I'm almost positive I'm not crazy on this. I think she played. And they played the flute or something.
Dallas Goddard
Like the marching band.
Bobby Bones
I think they have a band. Like. Well, I know they have the big drum, right? They keep pounding. That's their thing.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, but that's not official. I don't think it's like, a fan, but I think.
Bobby Bones
Casey, would you Google this? The Carolina Panther pet band. I'm pretty sure she played in it. And there was one time that he was, like, directing it.
Casey
Oh, Lord.
Dallas Goddard
So this is how it all started.
Bobby Bones
The messages he put out there.
Dallas Goddard
Duh, I'm gonna.
Bobby Bones
Between them, the guy ended up taking it all down and then taking his account down, too. But he took his cheating wife.
Casey
Yeah.
Dallas Goddard
I'm seeing the percussion. P U R R per.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, Percussion.
Dallas Goddard
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Baltimore Ravens band. Oh, yeah, that's what it was. The Ravens. That's right.
Dallas Goddard
Well, there's also the percussion.
Bobby Bones
Good point. I think of him so much as a Panther. Yeah, right. I gotta play with the Ravens. Yeah, yeah. It was the Raven band. You're right. Wow.
Dallas Goddard
Gotcha.
Bobby Bones
Wild. You know, she had to see that stuff on the Internet and be like, oh, my God. Like, she must feel like her. Her life is ruined.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Now, did she do it? It looks like it. You think it's too much? You think it was too much for him to do that? No. Husband? Heck no.
Dallas Goddard
You don't think it's too much?
Bobby Bones
No.
Dallas Goddard
You don't think it could be handled a different way?
Bobby Bones
No. I mean, he definitely, like. He definitely, you know, lashed out and wasn't thinking clearly and just found out and then just went crazy. But how can you blame him? I don't be pretty upset. I don't blame him. I don't want to blame him. Yeah. When she's the one that cheated. I just ask if you think his mode of operation was appropriate or not, because it's definitely on her and Steve Smith. But Steve Smith is to his family. Right. Steve Smith's having loyalty to that dude.
Dallas Goddard
Right.
Bobby Bones
But Steve Smith his.
Dallas Goddard
With his family, which Is probably his thinking, like, this is. I mean, everyone's gonna find out. His family, the world.
Bobby Bones
Like, everybody must pay.
Dallas Goddard
Yes. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So I don't hate it. I don't know that I would do it because I would feel embarrassed, too. And I think I would have. It'd be so personal to me. Like, I don't want to be embarrassed. I'm just gonna handle it. Get divorced. Like you'd be embarrassed that your wife cheated on you. Yeah. Okay. With somebody famous, with bigger wiener. Not a given. No, no, it is. Trust me. That dude's a boost. Oh, she even said he, like. I think one of the things where it was he, like, knocked her IUD you. Whatever. The birth control thing in her, like, like, flipped it. All right. Then I'd keep that a secret.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, he flipped it.
Bobby Bones
I think that's what it was.
Dallas Goddard
He's doing tricks with it in there. What on earth?
Bobby Bones
That's a big story over the weekend. I was kind of in that one.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, that was a headline for me. I was like, wow, it's crazy. And then I moved on.
Bobby Bones
I just read more and more and more. The Yankees will allow facial hair. Let's go over to Casey, our Yankee fan.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
It's about time, huh?
Dallas Goddard
I think it's about time.
Bobby Bones
You know, Casey has a beard today. If the Yankees get it, Casey gets it. That's what it is.
Dallas Goddard
He's been shaving his whole life because of it.
Bobby Bones
He just wanted a shot in the pigs.
Dallas Goddard
I love George.
Bobby Bones
You know, you do have a beard for the first time. Yeah, I finally grew it out.
Dallas Goddard
Only took about like a week and a half. This is, you know, hairy Italian over here.
Bobby Bones
It's a beard. As a Yankees fan, are you fine with this? Good with this? Bad? I'm cool with this.
Dallas Goddard
It's not going to make much of a difference on the field, so. But, you know. Yeah, time for a change.
Bobby Bones
I like that they had this rule because it was their rule. Yeah.
Dallas Goddard
But like, they're still kind of, you know, it's like they're more lenient.
Bobby Bones
Yes. It does say, like, well manicured. Right, right in the language now. So you can't really have, you know, the ZZ Top beard.
Dallas Goddard
Right. Well, that. Can you have a shadow?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Dallas Goddard
You could always have kind of a little five o'clock shadow.
Bobby Bones
They'd allow well groomed beards for players and a stash and mustache. The mustache, though, could never go beyond the lip. Can never handle, bar it. No.
Dallas Goddard
So no, no handle.
Bobby Bones
You couldn't do the fu Manchu. Which is. Which is the mustache all the way down in the middle of the goatee shaved out. So I like the Yankees had that weird rule. I thought it was a weird rule, but I liked it because they were like, known for. It's like if you want to be the tip top, you got to shave off your face. It's a crazy rule. So, yeah, I saw the airline facial hair. There's a Wemby rookie card that sold for $860,000, which, by the way, we haven't been on since last Monday. But Wemby's out for the year with that blood clot in the shoulder.
Dallas Goddard
Same thing as Chris Bosh, and he retired from it from the same thing. And my mom got tickets to go see the spurs in Austin, which was like this past week, and they played Detroit and he wasn't playing.
Bobby Bones
Who do I feel more sad for, Your mom or Wimby with blood clot? You're trying to take away his. Eddie's like, no, that's nothing.
Dallas Goddard
I'm saying my mom. I'm saying my mom because I know my mom.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, like a blood clot's a real deal.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, those are scary. Season ending injury for Wembanyama didn't stop a collector from spending a fortune on his rookie card. Golden Auctions announced that the 2023 Panini Prism Nebula Choice 1 of 1 Wimby card went for a final bidding price of $860,100. That's a new record for a WIM rookie card. The previous high was 516,000 for a 2023 Prism Black Shimmer, one of one sources the athletic crazy. When you just reading the story and you're looking at the news, you start to get numb to people paying a bunch of money for stupid things. But when you really think about paying $860,000 for a card card, a piece of paper. Now it's not that because a piece of paper, a stock is a piece of paper.
Dallas Goddard
I get it.
Bobby Bones
Right?
Dallas Goddard
I mean, a crypto bitcoin is nothing.
Bobby Bones
Yes. It is an investment into a human who may never come back. Who may have. May come back and not be as good for that kind of price. You need this person to be one of the greatest players of all time. Spend that kind of money.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And everything it was shaping up for him to be. I mean, he was in for defensive player. He's going to win defensive player of the year this year. He's not eligible now. I won't play enough games. But this is after the blood Clot. The guy still bought the card.
Dallas Goddard
Wow.
Bobby Bones
$860,000. You think he saw it as a bargain? Then he's like, you know what? He's hurt right now. His stock is low. Let's buy this. Maybe it'll double if he comes back. And it's a big if. But if he does, I'm gonna go, no, kind of. So the no is gonna be. He had to start bidding. I think when the auction started. The bidding started when Wemby was still healthy. Okay. Okay.
Dallas Goddard
So does it last that long? Biddings like bids for that stuff?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, some of them are two weeks, some of them are a week. I have the golden app. I buy a bunch of stuff from it. So I think he probably got in 100, 200,000, if I'm just speculating. And maybe it didn't go as high as it would have had he been healthy. Because it could have been a million dollar card if he'd have been healthy. So maybe the price was lower. But I don't think anybody just jumped in, like, I'll get it cheaper because he's hurt. He could have been a guy that was already in the mix. And it's like, I'll go up to this amount because he's hurt in one or stuff I've done before. It's like, I'll go up to this. And I'm like, oh, God, hope somebody outbids me. Please. Somebody outbid me. I gave Reed a bunch of cards reading. Our getting back in the card business. I have. You can open it up for him. Reed and I have an ebay business of cards.
Dallas Goddard
Dude, that case is so legit. With a lock on it or two locks on it.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, we gotta turn away. He's doing a combo.
Bobby Bones
Ray's gotta figure out how to get the case open.
Dallas Goddard
I think it's upside down read.
Casey
It's not upside down, is it?
Bobby Bones
It's upside down. Read. Yeah, yeah. Oh, I had it the right way. So Reed sells them on the ebay page, and then he mails them and he gets 10% of all profit.
Dallas Goddard
That's great. Very nice.
Bobby Bones
This one might actually be locked. That is. It's not locked. Push the little things on the side of it.
Dallas Goddard
Duh.
Bobby Bones
Well, we're going to do a little experiment here, but you got to read. You want to bring it over to me?
Dallas Goddard
He's got one of two locks open. Might be stuck.
Bobby Bones
See if you can get that one. Okay. We'll just wait.
Dallas Goddard
Looks like there's something going on. Yeah, it's definitely Locked.
Bobby Bones
I don't know how to get it open. If you, like, turn the code. There is no code.
Dallas Goddard
It looks like they need a key, right, Reed?
Bobby Bones
I don't have a key either. Oh, no. I swear to God, if. Reed. Reed, bring it over to me. I don't know how to get that open. If you've, like, somehow.
Dallas Goddard
Okay, well, there. There's, like.
Bobby Bones
See, like you're supposed to.
Dallas Goddard
There's combination and key.
Bobby Bones
I know, but I've never used either one of them. I've. And I've never turned the combination.
Dallas Goddard
Hold on, hold on, hold on. Why don't you. Looks like.
Bobby Bones
Just bring it over here. Put it to zero.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. Put them all together.
Bobby Bones
Zero it out. Yeah.
Casey
Yes.
Dallas Goddard
That's it. Three.
Bobby Bones
What do you mean, I didn't do it?
Dallas Goddard
Want to look at the other one?
Bobby Bones
I just got the case. Yeah, but you took it. It was on the ground. You're flipping it upside down.
Dallas Goddard
There you go. Boom.
Bobby Bones
Oh, my God.
Dallas Goddard
I'm Mexican. I can break into things no problem.
Bobby Bones
Pull a few of those out. Let's see what we got here.
Casey
Oh, let's do this one.
Dallas Goddard
Yellow.
Bobby Bones
That'll be a C.J. stroud, rookie. Probably. Oh, yeah, Jim. Mint 10. Come on.
Dallas Goddard
Beauty.
Bobby Bones
I don't really know what's in the box, but I know that I pulled a bunch of. A bunch of my cards that were over a thousand dollars each and moved them to its own thing. So there could be some valuable cards in there, but. What do you got there? Oh, this is a Corbin Carroll. Tim is autographed. Autograph.
Dallas Goddard
He's out for the season, I think.
Bobby Bones
Well, last year. We're about to start a new year, I think.
Dallas Goddard
I think he's out for this year. He's gonna miss the whole year, I think.
Bobby Bones
Really?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. Hold on to that one now.
Bobby Bones
I sell it. I give that. I try to get that Wimby price. Yeah. What else you got over there?
Dallas Goddard
We'll see here.
Bobby Bones
Pick one more out of there. What do we got? What do we got? Oh, Mike Trout. Is that a patch one of one Auto. Patch auto. Oh, I should probably keep that one. Now. You sell it. It's in the box. Sell it.
Casey
Let's go.
Dallas Goddard
Why are you thinking about keeping that one? Just to wait.
Bobby Bones
It's probably worth eBay.com. Mr. Bobby Bones. Four or five hundred bucks.
Dallas Goddard
That trout.
Bobby Bones
Gunner Henderson, Baby Jim at ten. Okay, we're selling all those. Someone get a hundred thousand on any of them. I get 10%. Let's go. 10% of profit, buddy. Come on.
Dallas Goddard
Pretty good.
Bobby Bones
Okay, Mike, you want a break? Gas break. All right, we'll come back. We're here with pro tight end Dallas Goddard to share his journey with plaque psoriasis and how he tackles his symptoms with otesla. Apremolast.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, being a football player with plaque psoriasis can be challenging. My skin gets flaky and itchy, so.
Bobby Bones
My doctor told me about a pill, otesla.
Dallas Goddard
It works from the inside out.
Bobby Bones

Talking to my doctor about a P.

Dallas Goddard
Yeah. And I was like, can I also hug them? Then next week, the 99 nonsense continues as the More Better amigas sit down with Joe Latrulio, AKA Detective Charles Boyle. There'll be more laughs, more conversation, more stories from the set, and more, More Better.
Bobby Bones
Don't miss a minute. You felt safe enough to throw out a bad idea, right?
Dallas Goddard
I mean, that is the key because.
Bobby Bones
You'Re definitely not throwing out good ideas all the time.
Dallas Goddard
I mean, that's just not how it works. Listen to More Better with Stephanie and Melissa on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Bobby Bones
Okay, now we're going to get over to our talk with Wade Phillips, former NFL head coach. He was coach of the Cowboys, coach of the Texans. Head coach of the Texans, Yeah. He's now the head coach of the San Antonio Brahmas in the UFL, which starts March 28. He's also Buffalo. Denver won a Super bowl as defensive coordinator with the Broncos in 2015. So here we go. This is Wade Phillips. Hey, Coach, where are you right now?
Casey
I'm in Houston.
Bobby Bones
I hear some classical music before we came on. You rocking out to some Beethoven there or what?
Casey
Yeah, yeah, I was just checking out a little music.
Bobby Bones
Whenever you were coaching in the NFL, your head coaching stops when it came to young quarterbacks. In the last couple of years, we've seen Jaden Daniels Crush and CJ Stroud before that, who was like the youngest guy that you had that you knew would be really good, and they were really good quick.
Casey
You know, I was with Jim Kelly and John Elway and people like that. We knew they were great. When I was at San Diego, we had Drew Brees and he did real well for us. And then we ended out trading him and, or letting him go actually to, to Miami at the time. And so, but I, you could tell that we, when I went there, they were 4 and 12, and we went 12 and 4 the first year with him, so I kind of thought he was going to be a good player.
Bobby Bones
Evaluating young players. With the combine coming up and then the draft, how much did you like to get in that mix?
Casey
Well, I think coaches ought to always be a part of it. You know, our general manager, Mark Little Bridge does, does a great job of really scouting and, and doing all that kind of stuff and getting us to look at the players. But also he has a, he's a great evaluator. So, in fact, he, he evaluated over a thousand guys the first Year when we were with him, he's really good, and that helps us.
Bobby Bones
Was there a guy in the NFL when you would be evaluating that? You really were like, I'm gonna, you know, bet it all on this guy, and he was really your guy coming in, ended up being a big success?
Casey
Well, yeah, I'd have to say J.J. watt with that guy. When I was with the Texans, there was big discussions on who we wanted to take with our first pick, and I was one of them that stood up for him, and then he turned it out to be a pretty good player.
Bobby Bones
We have my friend here who's a massive Cowboys fan who wants to ask you a couple Cowboys questions.
Dallas Goddard
Hey, coach, loved the Dallas Cowboys. Loved when you were the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. But what was that like being when you got the job? I mean, you know, your pops was the Oilers coach. Was that hard for you to be like, I'm going to be a Cowboys head coach?
Casey
It wasn't hard for me. It was hard for my sisters. High five sisters. They weren't big Dallas Cowboy fans because, you know, we weren't rivals because we, Houston and Dallas, I get kind of a rivalry, but, you know, they weren't in the same division or anything or are playing against each other very often, so. But no, it was easy to. It was easy to pull for the Cowboys when they're paying you well.
Bobby Bones
What was it like to work under Jerry?
Casey
It was really good. He's a great. You know, people don't. I'm sure they don't realize, but he. He's a great family guy. You know, he takes you in and. And is part of his family, you know, just does things extra for you and your family. So that part, you know, is really special with him, you know, that, you know, he's a general manager. I think it's a lot of flack because he's a general manager, but, you know, any general manager, I think, you know, if they don't live up to what people think is going to happen, they're going to get some. Some of that. But he's a football guy. People don't realize. I mean, he played football. He's been in it a long time, and, you know, he. He will. He's a good listener as far as, you know, listen to the scouts and coaches and who we want to pick and those kind of things. And he is the decision. A decision maker. You know, you say that for him.
Dallas Goddard
What about Tony Romo, coach? I think a lot of us realize his knowledge of the game and how Smart. He was at seeing the game when he commentating. We can see this on television. But what was it like coaching him? I mean, did you know immediately, gosh, this guy's. His IQ is so good.
Casey
Yeah, his football IQ is super. He has a feel for the game itself, but he's got a feel for people, too. I mean, players that he played with and, you know, he was special in that way. And, yeah, you can tell on TV what kind of. I mean, I've been around a lot of smart players, but he was certainly one of the top.
Bobby Bones
When people say that coaches make these adjustments in game during halftime, is that overstated? Are you making adjustments all game? And it's halftime when you can all get together and talk about it. How important is that or how much of a talking point is that?
Casey
Well, you only have 12 minutes, you know, and so. And part of it's getting out in the dressing room and out of the dressing room and getting organized and everybody getting, you know, a drink of water or whatever they need at halftime. And some of them. So you have really very little time. So I think sometimes it's overrated, you know, of course, sometimes you go in there and holler, help. You know, hey, we've gotta. We've got to do everything different. But there still are adjustments made, and I think, you know, I think the good coaches make those adjustments.
Bobby Bones
As a head coach or as a defensive coordinator, would you prefer to have game planned against a guy like Michael Vick, like, really mobile, or a guy like Tom Brady, guy that would, you know, sit in the pocket and pick you apart? Which one was more difficult? Which one did you not like doing?
Casey
I was at Atlanta with Michael Vick in his heyday. I mean, so, you know, he was such a great athlete and, you know, could really run the ball like a halfback, which there's. There's a lot of quarterbacks nowadays that can run with it. But he, you know, he was a really talented runner. So. But we just saw him in practice and, you know, and. And in the games and, you know, just audit what. What he could do. So. So I never did really have to play against him or coach against him that much. I coached against Tom Brady quite a bit, and he was the greatest. You know, he's the greatest quarterback so that I. I coached again. So, I mean, no matter what you did, he. He could anticipate what you were doing. He could. He could process it so quickly. And he had. Had such a gift of being able to get the ball in the right place at the Right. Time. So, yeah, he was hard to play against, obviously.
Bobby Bones
I want to ask you about a few players before we go and just kind of give me your, your overall thoughts on what it was like coaching them. And I'll start with Reggie White.
Casey
Yeah, Reggie White was a fun guy to be around. They call him the Minister of defense and he was very religious guy, but a real happy, go lucky, lucky guy. Every day was fun. He was fun to be around. He pulled a lot of jokes in practice. One of our coaches that coached him, he would, if he, if he turned his back to him talking on the chalkboard, Reggie might go over and pull his pants down or something. I mean, he, he, he was a, he could imitate everybody. He could imitate Buddy, Buddy Ryan to a T, which the rookie show. Every year he was in the rookie show and you know, he would do the coaches and, and everybody would just laugh like crazy. But he did Muhammad Ali and all. I mean, he was. But a great guy and obviously a great, great player. It's so fun to coach. And you know, he set the record. He set the record with 21 sacks and 12 games when I coached him. So nobody will ever do that. I mean, the record is 23 now, but that's in 16 games.
Bobby Bones
What about JJ? What? You mentioned him earlier, like, give me a JJ Watt story.
Casey
Yeah, JJ they boot him when we drafted him, when he came in for the draft party because nobody had ever heard of Houston, nobody had heard of J.J. watt and, and Wisconsin, you know, from Wisconsin. So the fans didn't really jump on board and he started practicing a little bit with us, you know, and man, he was, you know, he was better than almost. I mean, he was up there with the guys that the great ones that I'd had before. And, and I noticed it pretty quickly. And so, you know, one day they asked, the press asked me about, you know, what about JJ and is he going to make it and all that. And I said, well, JJ is going to be a bus, but it's going to be in the hall of Fame.
Bobby Bones
And then Aaron Donald, give me one on him.
Casey
Yeah. Tremendously hard worker, obviously a great talent, but a tremendously hard working guy that, you know, put in the work and extra work every day. JJ did too. I mean, all the great ones seem to do more than everybody else. You know, whether it's working on their, what their, their craft or working on extra lifting more weights or running more after practice. All those things, all the great ones I've been around have been like that. And he was Certainly that way.
Bobby Bones
We're about a month out from the start of the UFL season. Where are you in the process now with the team?
Casey
Well, getting organized, getting our players organized and just about have our roster set going into camp. We have coaches meetings, offense, defense, special teams, then the league. We've had meetings with the league. We're having a couple of scrimmages that we're going to have before the season starts. We set those up. We had a rules meeting with Dean Blandino, so we've been busy.
Bobby Bones
Are there any rules this season that you're having to go? Okay, I got to prepare myself for this because it's pretty new or different.
Casey
Well, the kickoff. We're going back to the old XFL kickoff rule, which. Which I was a part of, so nothing else really changed, but we're going back to the old XFL kickoff.
Bobby Bones
So you're the head coach of the San Antonio Brahmas. And so how did you end up that coach of that team? Specifically part of the merger?
Casey
I was with Houston, and when we merged, they had two Houston teams, one and one in the usfl, one in the xfl, and they chose to drop the XFL team Houston team. So. But in the meantime, the San Antonio job came open, and I was offered that, so I was glad to get that one.
Bobby Bones
Well, Coach, we really appreciate the time. And UFL season kicks off Friday, March 28th. You guys have the. One of my favorite logos in the ufl. You have it on your shirt there, too. It's. It's such a legit logo. And so we'll be watching for you a little redemption after that championship game last year. You look forward to getting back in the mix?
Casey
Oh, yeah. It's going to be a great year. It's going to be a fun year. A lot. A lot of new guys, but. But we get back some of the really good players we had back, too, so we're looking forward to it. I mean, it's going to be fun for the fans, and I hope everybody enjoys it much as I do. I love it.
Bobby Bones
Well, Coach, we appreciate it. Hope you have a great day and thank you for the time.
Casey
All right. Thank you.
Bobby Bones
Thanks, coach. Last week was our first playoff game, and my plaque psoriasis was so itchy under all my gear, sometimes just thinking about scratching could take me out of the moment. And then my doctor told me I could get clearer skin with a pill called otla.
Dallas Goddard
Otzla.
Bobby Bones
Epremilast is a prescription medicine used to.
Dallas Goddard
Treat adult patients with plaque psoriasis for whom phototherapy or systemic therapy is appropriate. OTZLA can help you get clearer skin.

Bobby Bones
Did you watch a Steve McNair documentary?
Dallas Goddard
Finally did.
Bobby Bones
What'd you think?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, man.
Bobby Bones
Crazy, huh?
Dallas Goddard
So I watched one, I don't know, like, 10 years ago. I think there was maybe a 30 for 30 or something that I watched. So different. They just covered it kind of black and white. Like, this is what happened. This is what they found. This is what they concluded. Boom. End of documentary. This one opens up so many different options of what could have happened to Steve McNair. Crazy dude. Like. And I mean, I just love that it's happened right down the street. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And it's crazy. Looks a little different now, huh? There are scenarios that really the public wasn't told about.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. Like, three or four different scenarios.
Bobby Bones
Like when the police interviewed a certain guy and he was like, oh, yeah, I was lying because my girl was near me. Like, there's just a lot of fishy stuff happening in this thing. So do you recommend it?
Dallas Goddard
Absolutely. Like, if you know the Steve McNair story just from what you remember. Watch this. It'll change your mind.
Bobby Bones
I watched a documentary on yacht rock. Oh, that's not hbo.
Dallas Goddard
That's a style of music.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So Bill Simmons has a whole music box series and the Alanis Morissette one's awesome. He did the 90s. Woodstock.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, yeah. 94.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. There's a whole series. The whole series on HBO. So I watched the Yacht Rock one day. Yeah. And it kind of started with. Man, I can't think of the guy.
Dallas Goddard
Barry Manilow.
Bobby Bones
No, it's too. Dude. So yacht rock was not a thing. It. It happened in, like, the 2000s with a comedy duo on social media they named Yacht Rock. Yacht rock was not a thing while it was happening.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, really? Okay.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So they called it Yacht Rock, Loggins and Messina. So I know Kenny Loggins, but I only know Kenny Loggins. I don't know Loggins and Messina, but they were like, the unofficial starters of yacht rock.
Dallas Goddard
So basically, Kevin, it's like. It's like what white R and B listen to in your. In your yacht.
Bobby Bones
White soft R and B. Oh, yeah.
Dallas Goddard
I always thought hall of Notes is.
Casey
Like the epitome of Doobie Brothers.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So Doobie Brothers ended up being a part of it, but Michael McDonald really was by himself. The Doobie Brothers, to me, seem a little 70s stonery because their name's Doobie, but they put them in this. Like, they were considered. But again, at the time, there was not a format of yacht rock. It was something invented, like 2000s. And they just went back and, like, Sirius has a channel now of yacht rock, where it's mostly like white people playing guitars that sing that sound a little R and B when they sing. Yeah, but they're massive hits. Almost easy listening now. Hot A.C. r&B. White people love it.
Dallas Goddard
My cousin Leroy, that's all he listens to.
Bobby Bones
Oh, my.
Dallas Goddard
Leroy. Shout out Leroy.
Bobby Bones
I watched that. It was fine.
Dallas Goddard
So what, what, what, what did you watch a documentary on yacht rock on hbo?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. It's the music. Latest music box one called Yacht Rock.
Dallas Goddard
Okay.
Bobby Bones
I'm looking it up on Spotify to see if they have, like, playlists, you know. Oh, they got them all over. Oh, yeah. Yacht rock's a thing. Okay. Who never heard of it are yacht rock artists. Here we go. Some of the yacht rock artists include, by the way, it was a genre of smooth soft rock, lush production, jazzy influences, sophisticated medleys. Michael McDonald. This is Core yacht rock.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
The king of yacht rock. They call him the Doobie Brothers. Steely Dan. They did a lot of Steely Dan. Toy.
Dallas Goddard
Steely Dan.
Casey
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross.
Dallas Goddard
Sailing.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Hall of Notes.
Casey
There you go.
Bobby Bones
They had Toto in it a bunch. Toto?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Because the Toto guys ended up being session players, too.
Dallas Goddard
What did they sing other than Africa?
Bobby Bones
Rosanna.
Dallas Goddard
Rosanna.
Bobby Bones
That's the other one, huh? Chicago.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah.
Casey
Chicago. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Chicago. The song, I think.
Dallas Goddard
In the Park.
Bobby Bones
That's it. Saturday in the Park. Every day's the Fourth of July.
Dallas Goddard
That was.
Bobby Bones
No idea.
Dallas Goddard
Nothing?
Bobby Bones
Nope. Player Baby, Come back. Oh, yeah.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, yeah. That's a great one.
Bobby Bones
So, yeah, if you're a music nerd, you'll like yacht Rock. If you're not, it's not their best one, but I didn't know that it was a comedy. Like a couple guys on social media that created that genre and then passed. Reinserted all of it.
Dallas Goddard
I recently watched Sly Lives on Hulu.
Bobby Bones
I saw the preview for that and watch it.
Dallas Goddard
Sly and the Family Stone. I love that. I was just getting a bunch of stuff on TikTok, like little clips, and I'm like, I gotta watch this. That's really interesting. Interesting because it's like. It's Sly was. He's a radio guy. He's a radio dj, and he's like. Started playing songs like, I can do this.
Bobby Bones
Really?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. So then he just started making music and it was so different that, like, people just loved it.
Bobby Bones
Oh, I'm in that. How do you. How do you watch it?
Dallas Goddard
It's on Hulu.
Bobby Bones
But is it a movie or series?
Dallas Goddard
I think it's a one time documentary, like maybe an hour and a half.
Bobby Bones
So that'd be a movie. A movie. Documentary, movie. It's pretty cool. I'm in. I'm gonna watch it.
Dallas Goddard
But then. But then you, like, you. You just realize kind of how he ended. Like how his career.
Bobby Bones
Well, don't say anything about that.
Dallas Goddard
I won't. But just like, I didn't know that. I didn't know how his career.
Bobby Bones
I can't think about how his career ended. I don't know. So.
Dallas Goddard
So that's a good way to go into it.
Bobby Bones
Don't hit with an Amy here.
Dallas Goddard
I won't do it.
Bobby Bones
Tom. Tom Brady gifted his teen son a $3 million watch. Oh, my.
Dallas Goddard
He's gonna lose it. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Is he gonna wear.
Dallas Goddard
Because I almost lost my. My dad gave me one when I was in college and I lost it. I lost it for a year and a half.
Bobby Bones
He gave you like a really nice watch, a Rolex. Really?
Dallas Goddard
And I lost it.
Bobby Bones
How'd you lose it for a year and a half?
Dallas Goddard
I lost it. I just couldn't find it. And I couldn't tell him that I lost it. Every time I saw him, he would. He wouldn't ask. And then finally when I found it, he said, I was always wondering why you never told me where your watch was. Because I never wore it.
Bobby Bones
Where did you find it, though?
Dallas Goddard
It was in my car. So this is a crazy story, dude. So I lost it somewhere, didn't find it for a year and a half. And then I was down in South Texas in the valley at my aunt's house. And my dad said, there's some guys, like just down the street that are washing cars for real cheap. Like, just get your car like completely detailed. Cool. No problem. These guys were shady, man. Like a group of five shady dudes that spoke no English washed my car. I go pick it up, and the guy goes, hey, I found this in the back.
Bobby Bones
Oh my gosh.
Dallas Goddard
It was my watch.
Bobby Bones
So you feel bad about thinking they were so shady?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, big time. And I said, do you know what that is? Like, yeah, it's a Rolex. And I was like, that's crazy. So you know that that's an expensive watch. You're like, yes, yes, a nice watch.
Bobby Bones
So question one. Was it protected back there or was it just loose in your trunk?
Dallas Goddard
It's like it had fallen. Like I maybe fallen between a seat or something. Have no idea, man.
Bobby Bones
Oh, man. Wow. And so did you feel bad? Did you Learn a life lesson from judging a book by its cover.
Dallas Goddard
100%. And I was probably 23, so. And I didn't have a lot of money, but I tipped the. I tipped the guy $100. Like, I just thought it was that important for him to realize, like, he could have kept it.
Bobby Bones
He easily could have stolen it.
Dallas Goddard
100%.
Bobby Bones
Because it was free. I mean, it was just out. Wow.
Dallas Goddard
So that's why I'm saying, yeah. Tom Brady's on. He's gonna lose that.
Bobby Bones
In a video recap of the NFL legend Super Bowl Sunday, he's seen surprising his team Benny with a massive watch quote. All right, Benny, close your eyes and put your wrist out. Don't look. Brady said before putting Jacob and Co's billionaire mini Ashaka watch, which has covered 100 carats of diamonds worth 3 million bucks, on his son's wrist. That's crazy. Like, I have some nice watches. I became watch guy. I don't have nothing like this. Nothing. Nothing like this. So I have some nice watches, and I like them a lot. I try to keep them from, like, hitting stuff, but when I do, sometimes I get to. Ooh, that hurts. Yeah, it's like I hit, like, a bruise on my body. You know how you hit a bruise?
Dallas Goddard
Like, ow.
Bobby Bones
It's just a watch. So I like watches. I have one on today. I have a red Rolex on. It's my red one that I have.
Dallas Goddard
That's a nice. Very nice.
Bobby Bones
It's a Rolex. The most expensive watch I've ever worn was not mine. I was on a flight with Luke Bryan to American Idol in Hawaii. And so we were going from here to Hawaii. He won't care because he was on the NFL show talking about this on his plane.
Dallas Goddard
So not Southwest.
Bobby Bones
Nope. And he had a bunch of watches, and some of them may have been his, and some of them may have been watches that they were loaning him to wear. And these were $250,000 watches.
Dallas Goddard
What do you have just, like, in a case or something?
Bobby Bones
Like, yeah, he was just like, put them on. I was like, cool. So I did.
Dallas Goddard
That's fun.
Bobby Bones
He's crazy. Luke and I were playing a watch dress up in the back of his. In the back of the plane because that's legit.
Dallas Goddard
How much was the most expensive watch?
Bobby Bones
Probably about a quarter million.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, that's crazy. Was it heavy?
Bobby Bones
And at the time, I was not watch guy, so I didn't fully respect the kind of watch it was. I just respected. Oh, my God, I can't believe this. Is worth that much money. I then became watch guy because I just wanted to do something that made me look adult. Because a lot of times I just dressed like Peter Pan. Just wear a hoodie and sweats to everything. And so I became watch guy. And not all my watches are super expensive. I have some really cool ones. Like my wife got me one that's not super expensive, that has like the state of Arkansas and initials on it. But you know, I remember putting on going, I got a quarter million dollars on my wrist. It was crazy. That's crazy.
Dallas Goddard
They keep showing one on Instagram. They keep showing on my feed. It's like a roulette wheel. I'm like, gosh, I'm not a watch guy at all.
Bobby Bones
The only watch I've seen, the roulette wheel one.
Dallas Goddard
And I'm like, I want to buy this.
Bobby Bones
You could probably get that for a couple hundred bucks.
Dallas Goddard
Really?
Bobby Bones
Let me see which one you're talking about. It's got the little thing in there.
Dallas Goddard
It's got a little ball in it.
Bobby Bones
I'm sure there's a very expensive one too. But usually anything that's super expensive they made a kind of a knockoff of. That's not even a knockoff. It's just another brand that makes one that looks similar. Like everybody steals Rolex's look. A lot of these brands try to steal the shape and the look. They're not doing knockoffs, are doing their own brand. Did you know Rolex is also a. They don't make profit. They are a nonprofit nonprofit. Really did not know that. I had a roommate once who had two Rolexes. Big watch guy, successful guy. And he would just screw like a drywall screw and into the wall and just hang his Rolexes on that screw, like mid-20s, which is. And he would wear them and then when he wouldn't wear them and take them off and just hang them on a drywall screw. You sure they were real? Yeah. I would never hang him on.
Dallas Goddard
Never.
Bobby Bones
It's wild. We would always make fun of him. Rolex is technically a non profit organization. Rolex is owned by the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation, a private nonprofit trust established by Hans Wildorf in 1945. The foundation controls the company and reportedly reinvest profits into the business, charitable causes and scientific research. Unlike typical nonprofits, Rolex sells luxury watches at a profit. But because it's owned by a foundation, it does not operate like a publicly traded business. So the profit they make goes. So they do make a profit, but the profit they make goes back into their business and science and non profit. There you go. Reinvestment of men, charitable causes and scientific explority. Exploring grants. Huh? Never knew that. That's interesting. We're here with pro tight end Dallas Goddard to share his journey with plaque psoriasis and how he tackles his symptoms with Otezla. Apremolast.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, being a football player with plaque psoriasis can be challenging. My skin gets flaky and itchy so.

Bobby Bones
Remember when we were in that scene.
Dallas Goddard
Where you guys were just supposed to.
Bobby Bones
Hug and I was standing there?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. I was like, can I also hug them then next week, the 99 nonsense continues as the More Better amigas sit down with Joe Latrulio, AKA Detective Charles Boyle. There'll be more laughs, more conversation, more stories from the set, and more, more Better.
Bobby Bones
Don't miss a minute. You felt safe enough to throw out a bad idea, right?
Dallas Goddard
I mean, that is the key, because.
Bobby Bones
You'Re definitely not throwing out good ideas all the time.
Dallas Goddard
I mean, that's just not how it works. Listen to More Better with Stephanie and Melissa on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Tamu, is that a brand?
Bobby Bones
Is that the brand you saw?
Dallas Goddard
I think so. Tamu.
Bobby Bones
Maybe I'm not. How do you smell it? No. Are you T E M U. Oh, no, you don't want that, man.
Dallas Goddard
What is that?
Bobby Bones
It is a team. You watch the official site? Oh, @teamu.com, i'm gonna do team. You watch. What is yours called?
Dallas Goddard
Roulette. Roulette wheel.
Bobby Bones
Okay, $43.
Dallas Goddard
Hey, let's go.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, let's go. Deals. Now, what I wonder is if there's a roulette one that is super expensive because roulette watch expensive. You can get a rose gold roulette. It's called a lucky Harvey for $1,000. Oh, here's one. A Jacob & co. It's $490,000. The roulette will.
Dallas Goddard
That's cool. He's at dinner with your buddies, like, all right, let's put place bets. I'm gonna spin it. Boom. Pick a number.
Bobby Bones
Anywhere from your $40 to half a million dollars from that watch.
Dallas Goddard
I like how you called it my $40 because that is definitely my watch.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I figured if that were the case, here's one for 300,000.
Dallas Goddard
Dang.
Bobby Bones
Casino Turbillion. I don't know how to say this stuff. Yeah, that's crazy.
Dallas Goddard
It's a cool watch, though, huh?
Bobby Bones
Here's one for $8,995 if you want to get that one somewhere in the middle. Cheap one, the cheaper one for you. No, I wouldn't. I don't. I wouldn't like that.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, you wouldn't?
Bobby Bones
That's too distracting because I don't want to play it all the time. I don't want to set the record. Juan Soto bought a car for giving up the number 22. Who do you buy it for? Brett Batty. Is that how you say his name?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. B A, T. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Beatty. I think it's. I only see him on baseball cards.
Dallas Goddard
Me too. The only one I know.
Bobby Bones
The guy I don't even know. I don't ever watch the Mets play. When Juan Soto made the jump from the Yankees to the Mets, he had one small problem. His number 22 was already on Brett Beatty. Beatty was willing to give up his jersey number to help Soto. And then he bought him a car. A brand new suv, fully loaded, trim decked out. Also with the car, a roulette watch.
Dallas Goddard
Did we talk about Carson Beck's car? Did we talk.
Bobby Bones
No, we didn't. Where they were taken, but they found. Did they find him finally? Because I can give you the story from last week. The Miami Hurricanes power couple of Carson Beck and Hannah Cavender had three cars stolen overnight in south Florida. Beck had two cars, a Mercedes and a Lamborghini taken while Cavender's SUV was stolen but later found. That may be the one that I saw that they found it.
Dallas Goddard
This dude has a Lamborghini and a Mercedes Benz.
Bobby Bones
Then they just break in the house and get the keys. Like it wasn't any highly sophisticated operation. I think they just got into the house. Oh, here are the keys. And stole the cars. If they found. 245 in the morning. Yeah. They find these cars jumped over. It's not like the Lamborghini can stay hidden.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Unless you're stripping it down or driving it to another country. Yeah, they just jumped his fence, installed cars just right out of his driveway. Yep.
Dallas Goddard
Wow.
Bobby Bones
He has a Mercedes and a Lamborghini.
Dallas Goddard
It's unbelievable. Is that. Is that Miami money or.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Dallas Goddard
Is that Miami money?
Bobby Bones
I'm sure Some could be Georgia, but I think they paid him 4 million according to the stories. And probably a deal with Lamborghini could even be. Not his car. A car in his name. And then his girlfriend with the Rover. They have a ton of money. Yeah. Cavender twins do.
Dallas Goddard
I saw a Lamborghini on the road the other day. That's pretty. That's pretty rare. Like, usually I think I see a Lamborghini and it's like a Corvette, but I saw a real Lamborghini and I was with my kids, and they were about to go, like, over a speed bump, and I'm like, oh, you think he, like, slows down or you think he's gonna go for it? Like, I think he's gonna slow down. Sure enough, he went real slow because those things scrape. They're so low to the Ground they scrape.
Bobby Bones
Not practical at all, but cool looking. What do you think about when someone buys a Lamborghini suv?
Dallas Goddard
Oh, I don't know.
Bobby Bones
Those are awesome.
Dallas Goddard
Do they have those?
Bobby Bones
Do you feel like it's a waste? And it's not really a Lamborghini though.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, you got to get the sports car.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I feel like a Lamborghini is a Lamborghini, but if you're like, gonna get an suv, that's kind of a waste to get a Lamborghini suv. I don't know enough about cars. Like, if I. If I had a buddy and he's like, yeah, dude, I just got a Lamborghini. Come check it out. And I walk out and it's an suv, I'd be like, dude, I know.
Dallas Goddard
I kind of disappointed. Yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
But you could like, like Teddy's point. You can't really drive over anything in a real Lamborghini, quote unquote, like an suv. You can. I don't know. You can have more fun with that. I feel like you can, but it's not a. It doesn't feel like that's a real Lamborghini.
Dallas Goddard
Does the SUV fly? Like, what's the.
Bobby Bones
Still a Lamborghini. It's awesome. A Lamborghini SUV.
Dallas Goddard
Like if it goes 200 miles per hour, like still a Lamborghini, then Lamborghini.
Bobby Bones
I type it nice. Lamborghini. Oh, it's for sure gonna be nice. It's nice. Top speed of 190. What do you see as the price on it? For some reason I have Lamborghini model cars.
Dallas Goddard
That's cool too.
Bobby Bones
Lamborghini. It's the lambo urus. Okay. 275,000. Okay, well that's about the same price as like a low end Lamborghini really, like, car. It wasn't a car. It was the suv.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, I thought he had a like.
Bobby Bones
Because now that it says Urus. I remember just reading about that. I'm pretty sure that's one that was his Lambo. Was a Urus.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, well, that's deceiving.
Bobby Bones
Okay, see, that's my point. Not the same thing.
Dallas Goddard
You're right. You're right. And that's the one still missing. I am underwhelmed. Ya.
Bobby Bones
Why is it giving me all kids toys? It's all models.
Dallas Goddard
They're like keeping it real. You're not gonna buy one, so here's.
Bobby Bones
Something you might actually buy. Yeah. So that's one still gone. There's one still missing. Yeah, that one's missing. They found the other two and arrested the people. Is it a Chilean gang? I did not see a description of the gang. A technology students being mocked on social media for setting his dorm on fire while trying to hide his inflatable girlfriend. Oh, Lord, that's rough. According to the post, on February 10, the student enrolled in the university was thrown into a panic after his roommate returned unexpectedly. Rushing into the hallway, the student tried to burn the doll, but ended up triggering the campus fire alarm, filling the dormitory with flames and smoke. No one was harmed in the blaze. The student was disciplined and faced the wrath of the Internet for embarrassing. For the embarrassing ordeal. So he's trying to have sex with the doll, Tried to get rid of the doll by burning it and set the dorm on fire.
Dallas Goddard
That's embarrassing. And now everyone knows he has a doll he wants. If I just have one. He dates one.
Bobby Bones
He got a transfer. An investigation starts after a woman wakes up in a bar bathroom. After the bar was closed, a woman woke up alone in a closed Boston bar with no idea how she ended up there. It happened last September when the woman called police after 2am and reported that she woke up alone inside a bathroom at Ned Devine's bar. The woman suspected that she had been drugged by a contaminated drink, although her toxicology report revealed she had no drugs in her system. Okay, so you think she just got so drunk? Because if they did a toxicology and there are no drugs. Unless there's, like, possibly. Right. But that's so drunk, right?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Management of Ned Devine says staff has been retained to check and clear all spaces before closing. The woman was unharmed. Whdh ever been so drunk you wake up somewhere you didn't remember? Oh, yeah. Who said yeah? Oh, yeah. You have Kevin? Yeah, a couple times. What does that feel like? When I was younger, it was like, oh, man, what happened? And then, like, the older you get, you're like, what the heck?
Dallas Goddard
Well, when's the last time it happened?
Bobby Bones
I can't even remember. It's been a while. But I'm also in my 30s, so probably like late 20s or something. Was it scary? Yeah. Yeah. Because, you know, because I would think I wouldn't know what I what else I did. Right? Like, that would be the scariest part. That's what you're nervous about? Like, holy crap, did I do something that I don't remember, but I'm gonna find out later today. Like the anxiety, you call that the PTSD or the post party depression? Ppd. Post party depression? Yeah, that's what you call that, where you're just like, have anxiety about, like, holy crap, what did I do last night?
Dallas Goddard
So where was it? Completely different than where you were all night.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Yeah. Like, you're at a. Say you're at it. Well, yeah. So you're at a party, right. And then you wake up and. On a couch, maybe, or somebody else's house that you don't remember going to. Yeah. Hopefully you know the person.
Dallas Goddard
That's weird.
Bobby Bones
What was yours, Casey?
Dallas Goddard
I woke up in the woods in Syracuse after, like, I just got initiated in my fraternity, and we had a really fun time. And then I just woke up in the forest, like, right by my. My campus dorm, and I had no idea. And, yeah, I had a lot of the ppsd.
Bobby Bones
Ppd.
Dallas Goddard
Ppd. Yeah. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Okay. But if you're doing that while you're rushing.
Casey
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
You at least know your boys know what happened to you.
Dallas Goddard
I think I, like, Irish exited, though, because I was, like, in the forest by myself. They threw you there. I think they threw you there.
Bobby Bones
Well, maybe they threw me there. He hates the song.
Dallas Goddard
Oh.
Bobby Bones
They come to Snuff Rooster because they abducted him from his. Yeah, right. And took him to the woods. Yeah. Keep going. Yeah, I just. I just.
Casey
I was left there, man.
Bobby Bones
I just had to find my way. I. I don't. I don't like bringing that up, man.
Casey
That's scary.
Bobby Bones
We're waiting. Anyway, I was blindfolded, and I was driven out into the middle of nowhere, and that's. That's all that I remember. Did they do anything to you? No, but I did on my pledge retreat. That was my one time that I blacked out, so I just remember drinking a bunch. We were out in the middle of a. Like, in a cabin, and then I remember waking up in, like, a makeshift bed, but I was in completely new clothes.
Dallas Goddard
Whoa.
Bobby Bones
So someone had to change your clothes for you? Someone changed my clothes for me. Apparently, I got in the bathtub, decided to, like, turn the shower on, and threw up all over myself. And then. So they changed your clothes because you had vomited on yourself more than they wanted to see. Reed's private. Exactly. Exactly. So that was my one. One and done time.
Casey
Not.
Bobby Bones
Not a great time in life. You haven't done that.
Dallas Goddard
Do these stories make you kind of want to drink?
Bobby Bones
I wish I had some stories because they'd be fun to tell, but I don't want to have them now.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, yeah, you're not. That's like, Kevin, it's, like, too old.
Bobby Bones
Like, if I walk out now, I'm like, dude, if I lived through it and told and had it. That's a fun story. In my pocket, but I don't want.
Dallas Goddard
Right.
Bobby Bones
I'm good.
Dallas Goddard
Okay.
Bobby Bones
We lost a buddy one time. He woke up in a graveyard. You lost him? He died. Yeah, we were at Stagecoach. No, no, no. We were at Stagecoach. And that's not how you say that. Yeah, that's not how you say that. He blacked out, woke up in a graveyard.
Casey
He did me.
Dallas Goddard
He pulled a me.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. How do you wake up in a graveyard?
Bobby Bones
He doesn't know.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, I got kicked out of a club one time for falling asleep in the club.
Bobby Bones
Like, you passed out or you were just so tired?
Dallas Goddard
I was like. I was like, I just need to lay down. And I laid down on the couch.
Bobby Bones
Oh, geez.
Dallas Goddard
And then I woke up, and it must have been asleep for, like, two seconds or whatever. The guy's like, hey, hey. No, no, no. You're out of here. Get out. You can't be here.
Bobby Bones
Did you diagnose yourself with plantar fasciitis, whatever it's called?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Why?
Dallas Goddard
My heel hurts bad. Like, my heel just hurts all day and, like, to the point where. And it's. Usually it's been too. It's been hurting for, like, I don't know, like, four months or so. But anytime I walk or use it, it goes away. And then kind of when I sit on the couch and put my legs up and then. And then stand on it, it hurts again. But that's not happening anymore. Now it just hurts all day.
Bobby Bones
So what are you doing to make it not hurt?
Dallas Goddard
I got a little tennis ball and kind of rolling it. I'm doing some stretches that I found online, but I'm assuming it's plantar fasciitis.
Bobby Bones
Because you've diagnosed yourself with it. It has to be.
Dallas Goddard
That's what the Internet says.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it probably is. It's common.
Dallas Goddard
Have you guys had it? No, I never had.
Bobby Bones
No. I thought I had it, and I diagnosed myself with it, and I was wrong.
Dallas Goddard
So what did you have?
Bobby Bones
I lost some cartilage in my foot and ankle from an injury.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, dang.
Bobby Bones
And so that's why now I have to take those anti inflammatories if I'm, like, cutting a bunch. If I'm sprinting or playing pickleball, I have to take anti inflammatories because it hurts so bad. It's bone on bone.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. Is it your heel?
Bobby Bones
No.
Dallas Goddard
Okay.
Bobby Bones
It was. It. It got so bad, it got into my heel. But that's only because it got so bad. And I was like, well, it's on my heel, so it must be. That it wasn't. Mine is crazy.
Dallas Goddard
Well, yours. What Good.
Bobby Bones
Now it's loss of. What's crazy is injury, man.
Dallas Goddard
You like. I stretch my heel or whatever, but then my calf starts kind of, like, hurting a little bit. So it's like. It's just weird how everything's all connected. Like when I broke my arm, it's like I broke right where my elbow is, but it hurt all the way up to my shoulder. Like, everything is oddly connected. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
You've got a massage on it?
Dallas Goddard
On what? On my heel.
Bobby Bones
Your feet?
Dallas Goddard
No, no. Should I do that?
Bobby Bones
I hired somebody to come to my house and just do my feet and my calves whenever. Because it started hurting so bad. Just to loosen it all up. Because if one thing's off and you start to run with favoring the unhurt side a little bit.
Dallas Goddard
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Then that leg gets jacked up, and so then everything's off.
Dallas Goddard
That's what the Internet said, too. Said, don't do that.
Bobby Bones
I got a pedicure the other day. Not the same.
Dallas Goddard
Okay.
Bobby Bones
No, it was nice. I recommend it. Not the same. Not the same.
Dallas Goddard
Do you go to just, like, Massage.
Bobby Bones
Envy for that after somebody come to the house? Okay, physical therapist.
Dallas Goddard
No, but me, like, I'm not gonna do that. Like, do I just go to a massage?
Bobby Bones
How much does Massage Jimmy cost now? Massage parlor. No, that's a different thing. They're expensive nowadays. Massage parlor feels like where you get the.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. Oh, it's not. It's not just a regular parlor.
Bobby Bones
I would say I'm, like, going to a spa. I would say going to. Sure. A spa or.
Dallas Goddard
Where do you go for massage?
Bobby Bones
I don't even. I would go get a massage. Yeah, the massage. I know. Parlor.
Dallas Goddard
They say it on the window.
Bobby Bones
It's a massage. It says. No, no, no. Parlor. Parlor is the word that sounds dirty to me, and I could be wrong, and I don't think those places do that. I'm saying. But if I see massage parlor. Parlor feels weird.
Dallas Goddard
You're saying, like, Robert Kraft went to a massage parlor. Parlor, not a massage place.
Bobby Bones
Justin Tucker, massage parlor. Parlor's like. It's a place where you go, like, wash your clothes and stuff. But it's in the back. It is. Is that real? No, but that's just what parlor feels like. It's not the main thing. You're thinking of hall pass, aren't you?
Dallas Goddard
Day.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah. Anyway, good luck.
Dallas Goddard
So I just go, wait, what does it Cost.
Bobby Bones
Because I can tell you right now, it's like an hour can be. Nowadays, it's anywhere between 100 to 150.
Casey
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I got a massage. And massage. You can get this. I'm telling you, you can get the same pay this exact same thing. And the woman that I use will come to your house. You don't have to go to the freaking massage.
Dallas Goddard
That's legit. That's. That is legit.
Bobby Bones
And she's awesome. She brings the table and everything. She does nice.
Dallas Goddard
And I just tell her, like, work on my heel.
Bobby Bones
Well, I would say work on both. She'll make sure to do you evenly so you're one side. Because when I was hurt, she would work on that side a bunch, but she'd have to do the other side, too, just to make sure it was all even.
Dallas Goddard
Okay, makes sense.
Bobby Bones
I can hook you up and give you a number.
Dallas Goddard
All right, that'd be cool. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Because it'd be the same price. But I would get that worked out. But not by somebody that is a. Just doing massages for fun or for make. To make you feel good.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
To actually work it out. And it hurts.
Dallas Goddard
When I went to my first massage, it was crazy. My button. It was in Vegas. It was in Vegas. But, guys, it wasn't shady. It was legit.
Bobby Bones
But the way you toned it, it.
Dallas Goddard
Felt shady because I'd never gotten a massage in my life, and I was working for the news, and it was me and my reporter, and my reporter was like. He was from New York. And he goes, dude, you ever got a massage? Let's. I'll buy one for you. Just because I was this photographer, I was like, well, that's cool. He's like, let's go. Let's go down there. I mean, it was like, the hotel place, and, like, I'd never gotten one before, and they're like, take your clothes off. And I'm like, oh, like, I'll take it all off. And took it all off.
Bobby Bones
Dude.
Dallas Goddard
It's crazy.
Bobby Bones
So you thought that was weird. Yeah, I did, too. I don't have my clothes off.
Dallas Goddard
You don't?
Bobby Bones
No.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, I think that's part of it.
Bobby Bones
I do underwear.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. Oh, I guess they're gonna keep the onions on.
Bobby Bones
I always keep my underwear on. I just want people seeing my testicles.
Dallas Goddard
That's. That's true. That's true. But they're pretty good at, like, covering stuff as.
Bobby Bones
But pretty good to me is not perfect.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. Yeah. And then after the massage, we did a. Well, I don't know, I can't say that what he called it, but it's like kind of, you know, you get into a hot tub and then a cold bath.
Bobby Bones
There's a term for it. Yeah, derogatory.
Dallas Goddard
He said it was big in Asia.
Bobby Bones
I probably wouldn't say that now, but.
Dallas Goddard
No, he said it was big in Asia. Like, that's what it's like, a therapeutic.
Bobby Bones
But why wouldn't you say the name of it?
Dallas Goddard
Because what he called it was not good.
Bobby Bones
Got it.
Dallas Goddard
But we did it.
Bobby Bones
Text me what he called it.
Dallas Goddard
Stand by. Well, maybe it's not that bad. We'll see.
Bobby Bones
I'll be the judge of that. I'm surprised you remember it. That's not that bad.
Dallas Goddard
Is that. That's not that you can't, like. You don't say that.
Bobby Bones
I don't think it's. It may. It may actually be derived from that. I don't think that's derogatory at all. Can we say I don't know every. I don't think there's any way that's a sign.
Dallas Goddard
But what if, like, they don't call it that? That'd be bad if you called it that.
Bobby Bones
I'm gonna Google it. Me too.
Dallas Goddard
It's where you get in, like, you start in a hot tub, and then you get into ice water. It's like, hot tub for two minutes, ice water, two minutes back in the hot tub.
Bobby Bones
It's a real thing. I typed in what is a blank. What they told me number one. Oh, no. In China, public bath houses have existed for centuries, offering a place for people to bathe in, relax, and socialize. The bath houses typically. Typically include hot pools and cold pools.
Dallas Goddard
There we go.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Eddie had typed Chinese bath, and I was like, how was that?
Dallas Goddard
I just gotta be careful. I don't know.
Bobby Bones
I hear you. I hear you. I hear you. Better to be. I think you're safe.
Dallas Goddard
Totally.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Okay. It's better than, like, Mexican bath. What does that. Reed? I don't know, man. I'm just saying. What did your family refer to as a Mexican bath?
Dallas Goddard
Mike and I are waiting.
Bobby Bones
Reid's racism slowly drips out. Go ahead, Reed. No, man, I mean, if there is one, I want it, you know? Okay, we're done.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, we're done.
Bobby Bones

Dallas Goddard
Otezla Aprimalast is a prescription medicine used to treat adult patients with plaque psoriasis for whom phototherapy or systemic therapy is appropriate. Otzla can help you get clearer skin.
Bobby Bones
After just four months. Okay, ready for the next game? Talking to my doctor about a pill was a total game changer.
