Dr. Lea Tritate
This is an I heart podcast.
Bobby Bones
Nourishes like a smoothie and sizzles like a smash burger. Easy to pick up and hard to put down. Made from plants and grills like beef. See, it's not. Or it's. And. And that's what I love about impossible. Just this weekend, a couple impossible burgers. Put them on the grill. Boom. Felt like I was having a cheat meal without the feeling of the guilt of a cheat meal. It's not just burgers. They got hot dogs, chicken, everything you need for your summer menu. Look for the impossible red packaging at your grocery store today.
Dr. Lea Tritate
If you're looking for another heavy podcast about trauma, the saying it this is for the ones who had to survive and still show up as brilliant, loud, soft and whole. The Unwanted Sorority is where black women, femmes and gender expansive survivors of sexual violence rewrite the rules on healing, support, and what happens after. And I'm your host and co president of this organization, Dr. Lea Tritate. Listen to the Unwanted Sorority. Let's start with a quick puzzle. The answer is Ken Jennings appearance on the puzzler with A.J. jacobs. The question is, what is the most entertaining listening experience in podcast land? Jeopardy Truthers believe in?
Eddie
I guess they would be conspiracy theorists.
Ken Jennings
That's right.
Eddie
They gave you the answers and you still blew it.
Ken Jennings
The puzzler. Listen on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
Eddie
Dude.
Kevin
Hitting it.
Eddie
This is a podcast called 25 Whistles. Talking football. And they all wear a whistle. Yeah, it's stupid, but what did. It's a podcast called 25 Whistles.
Bobby Bones
Welcome to the show, Eddie. Thank you. Hey, Kevin.
Eddie
Right here.
Kevin
Hey.
Bobby Bones
This is the trophy for the 2025's Better Golfer of Eddie and myself, which I won. Never actually fell behind. Pretty great. What a day. It even rained our last day in the middle of the round.
Kevin
Yeah, I was wondering that yesterday when I was driving it and it started dumping.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, ran pretty hard. We stayed out there though.
Eddie
That's. You didn't fall behind ever? That's right. We evened up at one point, but that didn't last very long.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, the back played. I played piss poor. The front nine, like two. Two or three triples even. And the back nine through seven holes, I was even again. Two birdies, you know, dude, he was.
Eddie
Playing out of his mind. Then I played birds.
Bobby Bones
Then I played defense at the end.
Kevin
Just held him off.
Bobby Bones
Just held him off. And Then I played offense, knew where he was. I just tracked him. I just. I just stalked him.
Kevin
Stockton, did you play, like, conservative?
Bobby Bones
Very much so.
Kevin
Okay, so instead of taking, like, that long shot, you're like, I'll just play.
Bobby Bones
Around over here very much.
Kevin
I'll lay it up over here, then lay it up on the green. And. Two putt.
Bobby Bones
I wish you were that easy. But not only that, the. Probably the biggest cheating that we've seen, but I choose not to bring. Dude, I choose not to bring it up.
Eddie
You don't want to admit to that. Don't admit.
Bobby Bones
No, I'm not admitting to anything. I'm just saying there was something really suspect that happened. But, you know, it doesn't matter. I won't. We'll move away from.
Kevin
Wait, from who?
Bobby Bones
Well, not from who.
Eddie
Who do you think, Kevin? You had a guess?
Kevin
Well, because he's bringing it up, I'm.
Eddie
Gonna say, you know, but because he's not talking about it, I would disagree.
Kevin
It wasn't me because he's not talking about either.
Eddie
Hey, it's beyond. It's past us, okay?
Kevin
Oh, are we moving on?
Bobby Bones
We're moving on because I have won the champion.
Kevin
Yeah, I wish he was a lefty.
Eddie
I know he's a righty like me, I'm telling you.
Bobby Bones
Well, Tom Lord, my manager, came out with us, and he. He surprised us with this trophy because I brought a trophy for the occasion. But, yeah, it feels good. Feels good to be the champ. Eddie now has to go stand on.
Eddie
The street for two hours.
Bobby Bones
Two hours with the sign and then a super Superman.
Eddie
Superman costume.
Bobby Bones
It's great. It's fun, though.
Kevin
Yeah. Was it fun for you, Eddie?
Eddie
It was getting fun on the last round, like when I took the. When I. When I made four strokes in the front nine and I'm like, oh, my gosh, we're even. Like, it's feeling good. And I was feeling good. I was playing well until. Man, I got a couple of triples in there.
Bobby Bones
Bobby birdied, too, after he got caught cheating. It really fell.
Kevin
I want to hear this.
Eddie
No, you don't want to hear it, because there's no cheating.
Bobby Bones
Because I said Eddie never plays well after he cheats. And he. Down he went.
Eddie
But I never cheated, so that didn't. That didn't count.
Kevin
Was it a ball drop?
Eddie
It was a ball drop.
Bobby Bones
Right by the green.
Kevin
Right by the green.
Bobby Bones
Like, he went into the water and then he went up to where it went in the water and even ahead and dropped the ball.
Eddie
Hey, I thought we weren't Talking about.
Bobby Bones
This, and I'm like, that is very sus. Did he say anything?
Kevin
Like, hey, can I drop here?
Bobby Bones
No, no, no.
Eddie
I knew exactly where I had to drop.
Bobby Bones
Hey, right? Even dream. Even Tom was like, you're not gonna say anything. I was like, let the guy.
Kevin
I'll give him this.
Bobby Bones
I was like, let the guy live his life. But it's over.
Eddie
We're not. Yeah, it's over.
Bobby Bones
I have the trophy on the champion. It feels good.
Kevin
Feels good for you.
Bobby Bones
Feels real good. Thank you very much.
Kevin
Hey, I'm glad you guys. I'm glad it was a good, good round. Like, at least you don't win by like seven strokes.
Eddie
Oh, no, it is a one stroke.
Bobby Bones
It was one stroke. I was playing very much defense at the end.
Eddie
Oh, yeah, but that doesn't matter.
Bobby Bones
Sure was.
Eddie
Doesn't matter. It ended in a one stroke, which means, dude, we are so close. You are the same kind of golf.
Bobby Bones
We're not at all.
Kevin
Again. We do know one thing, though, Eddie. You're not the better golfer.
Eddie
Bobby is the better golfer.
Bobby Bones
I was playing very conservative at the end.
Kevin
This is going to haunt you forever.
Eddie
No, it won't. No, no, no, no.
Kevin
Because even if you beat him, like, on a random day, he's just going to be like, well, I saw the tournament.
Bobby Bones
I won the four day tournament that you wanted to play.
Eddie
Let me tell you something. The. The anx. The preparation in this four day tournament was. It was tiring. It was tiring because every week I'm like, man, I've got to get better. I've got to get better. And then every. Every round that I went, you know, minus or. Or added strokes to. To his lead, it was like, I've really got to play out of my mind. So, dude, I was worried all week about this, and I'm kind of relieved it's over. And you know what? Congratulations.
Bobby Bones
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Eddie
That's all I can say. Congratulations. You are the better golfer.
Bobby Bones
Thank you very much. All right, we're good. We can move on from there.
Kevin
Okay.
Eddie
How does it feel?
Kevin
How long are you going to leave that trophy on that desk?
Bobby Bones
You think I'm going to put him off? I didn't matter that much to me. I already knew I was a better golfer.
Eddie
What do you mean it doesn't matter that much to you? You're going to disrespect the association?
Bobby Bones
I'm not disrespecting it. It just does not hold a high regard like some of the other stuff.
Eddie
So, of course I like that stuff on your.
Bobby Bones
It's like me getting an award for being six foot tall. Yeah, duh. I'm six foot tall.
Kevin
Oh, that's obvious.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Six foot one. Excuse me, If I got a six foot one award, I would be like, duh, why are you giving me an award for this? Everybody already knows it.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So that's fair. That's where you are.
Eddie
Is it?
Kevin
Sure. We can make that award.
Eddie
Let's move on.
Bobby Bones
We can move over to one of your kids. So your 6 year old was invited to play travel ball.
Eddie
Yeah, I mean, he's a little baller. And so one of the coaches on our old team was like, hey, I got this other guy who's like, trying to put together a travel team. Not a travel team, like, for the next year or the next two years, but for when they're 10 years old and my son's six.
Bobby Bones
Wow.
Eddie
So he's holding like two practices a week off season. And just to prepare this group of like, I don't know, I think they're like 12 or 13 kids. So when they turn 10 years old, they're ready to plan a travel team together.
Bobby Bones
Feels like a European soccer.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
One of those organizations you get into and they find the good kids and they just raise them. Or China with everybody. This kind of stuff. Dang. For that long.
Eddie
And everyone is good. Like, we've already gone to a couple practices and everyone. All the kids are solid. I mean, they're not. They don't look like they're awesome, but they're already steps ahead of everyone else, kind of at that age.
Kevin
So what I can't help but to think, like, what happens if you do all this practice for the next two years and then like, everyone else gets really good. Not your kid. But, like, a kid isn't as good.
Eddie
They're like, actually, yeah, that's a good question.
Bobby Bones
And they're not playing right now at all.
Eddie
They're no good. Well, I think they'll play regular seasons.
Bobby Bones
Same team.
Eddie
Depends. Like, some kids have other teams already and they'll just practice. That's kind of what we're doing. Like, we have a team already, but we're going to go to those practices two times a week if we're able to go in hopes that, I guess this team gets better and then they could travel. Dude, I'm not about this travel life, though. Like, and I already told the coach, like, I'm not committing to traveling to St. Louis on a random weekend to play a baseball tournament yet. So.
Bobby Bones
But I think you will. If your kid plays, you allow him to play. And that's what they do. Right? Like, once you say yes, then you have to go to the games and say yes.
Eddie
I commit. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So I ended up on travel ball. TikTok. Let's just dads either bragging, like, yeah, we won a national championship. And they're like, oh, yeah, against the country. Well, no, like, we were in Des Moines and it was just like, six teams. Oh, like the six best teams in the country. No, just from, like, region.
Kevin
Like Middle Iowa.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
So it's on national champion. Well, no, it was open.
Eddie
Yeah, it's like.
Bobby Bones
So somehow I've ended up on that part of TikTok.
Eddie
That's weird. That's a weird one. Yeah, but this team's crazy, dude. We have one of the kids, their dad was a. Is a hockey player. I don't know if he's a current hockey player, but he played for the Preds.
Bobby Bones
Name?
Eddie
Ellis. Ryan Ellis.
Bobby Bones
Sounds like somebody I should know. I know nothing about hockey, though.
Eddie
I think he was part of, like, the. The team where they were in the Stanley cup playoff or when the. In the championship.
Bobby Bones
Ryan Ellis.
Eddie
Yeah.
Kevin
King of the Flyers.
Bobby Bones
Oh. Still.
Eddie
Which I thought it was weird because, like, he's a hockey player. I would expect him to have his son in hockey.
Kevin
Well, maybe.
Bobby Bones
Maybe he does as well. But if they live in Nashville.
Eddie
But this is a. Like, this is going to be a travel team.
Bobby Bones
I don't know if I were professional football Canadian. He probably grew up as a kid and hockey was all around him. His kid growing up in Nashville, his dad plays hockey, but hockey's not all around him. I'm sure it's baseball, football, basketball. Because he's living in the South.
Eddie
Sure.
Bobby Bones
So it's mostly about that probably, than what your dad does. I was just thinking, man, is he a big dude?
Kevin
Because he's a defenseman.
Eddie
Not really. I mean, he's. He's bigger than me, but he's not like, abnormally big, which I didn't know he was even like hockey players, football players, sometimes you don't really even know what they look like unless you do research. Yeah, because they have masks or, like, helmets and masks.
Kevin
Especially hockey, because you don't really watch.
Eddie
But the coach was like, it's cool. We got a couple celebrities on the team.
Kevin
Okay.
Eddie
I'm like, well, what are you talking about?
Kevin
Well, you.
Eddie
You're on the radio, right? And I'm like, oh, yeah, yeah, I'm on the radio. And then we got a hockey Player dad over there. That's cool. Apparently the parents are talking about us.
Bobby Bones
Did the two celebrities hang out?
Eddie
No. Never talk to Ryan Ellis at all. I just see him there.
Bobby Bones
I did see Archie Manning predict, and Archie Manning is the grandpa of Arch. But Archie Manning's like, he's not going pro this year.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Came out and said that about Arch. Like, he's going to be in Texas another year. Which I think a lot of people felt that could happen. But still, when you see draft boards, they were putting him up there. Usually top three quarterbacks, sometimes number one. But you'd see like, Ness Meyer at number one in some of these. You'd see Drew Aller at number one in some of these. Arch definitely up there as well. But Archie seems to think that even though he hasn't really talked about it specifically with him, that he's confident he will stick around and not declare for the 2026 NFL Draft. And that's from Texas Monthly. I was thinking about this. Even if he wants to, I think this is the perfect thing to say because it's going to alleviate so much pressure from him. Like, you're playing for your draft stuff. He's like, no, I'm good. I had two more years here.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Like you don't feel like you have to do it all this year. People aren't also going. You're number one in the direction. Why I'm not even going. It's not true. So I think a bit of this is to alleviate pressure, but I do think he'll probably stay as well.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Peyton did.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Eli did. Yeah, right. They both stayed to their senior years. Yeah.
Kevin
Annie's. I mean, only one year.
Bobby Bones
I don't know if Eli did for sure, but I know Peyton did. I remember once, Arkansas and Ole Miss with Peyton Manning. We played a seven overtime game and.
Kevin
Ole Miss watching that. I specifically remember watching that game. That was the first time I heard of Eli Manning.
Eddie
How exhausting for the players.
Bobby Bones
It's crazy.
Eddie
Oh, gosh.
Bobby Bones
What do you say about Eli?
Kevin
I'm looking. Yeah, he did.
Bobby Bones
He did.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Look at that.
Eddie
You think it's weird that a grandpa talks about his grandson?
Bobby Bones
I would think it was weird if his grandpa wasn't a very famous college quarterback. Yeah. Pro quarterback and media personality. Yeah. All those things. No, because his grandson is the most famous college player in the whole world. So of course you're going to ask him about that.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So if it were just like Kevin's grandpa, I'll be like, that's weird.
Eddie
But I wonder if Cooper is like, hey, hey dad, I'll talk, I'll talk, I'll talk about.
Bobby Bones
I don't think so.
Eddie
Okay.
Kevin
I think it'd be more weird if Cooper said something than Arch, just because arches.
Eddie
Well, that's like a football God though.
Kevin
I know, but like Cooper is like the one Manning everyone kind of forgets about. No offense obviously, because he didn't play pro ball. Right. And you know, injuries and all that. But Arch is like a football God. Especially college football.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but Arch is also out talking a lot for other reasons other than like Archie is out talking a lot for reasons that aren't just Arch. And so if he's doing, he's talking about college football. If he's talking about whatever he saw. They also can ask questions about Arch. Yeah, Arch's dad, Cooper is not going to be randomly out talking about something, just football in general. He's only going to be talking about his son for the most part. If that's the case.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah, yeah, good point.

Kevin
Ah, that sounds amazing. Can I have a bite?
Eddie
I'm sorry, but no. But you can't split the banana split.
Kevin
Not even a little.
Eddie
Not even a crumb.
Kevin
What if.
Eddie

Bobby Bones
Do you guys have your list?
Eddie
Oh, I got my list.
Bobby Bones
Okay. All right, top five. Eddie, you want to go first? Yeah, go ahead.
Eddie
Top five athletes that dated famous hotties. Like, this is kind of funny.
Bobby Bones
Is this Travis Kelce?
Eddie
Well, Travis Kelsey, Can I guess? Yeah, go ahead. Go ahead.
Bobby Bones
Okay, I'm going to. I think the list probably happened in your mind because Travis Kelce dating Taylor Swift.
Eddie
Oh, I just thought, like, athletes, they date hotties.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
They sometimes marry the hottie.
Bobby Bones
Is that on your list? Travis Kelce.
Eddie
Number one. Okay, number one. Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce.
Bobby Bones
Is it all football players?
Eddie
No.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Eddie
And. And this is all time athletes.
Bobby Bones
So I'm going to guess Tony Romo. Jessica Simpson.
Eddie
Tony Romo. Jessica Simpson is at number three.
Bobby Bones
I saw Jessica Simpson's playing the Opry coming up.
Eddie
Really? Oh, that's cool.
Bobby Bones
Weird, huh?
Eddie
You can go to that.
Bobby Bones
No, I won't go unless I'm playing. And I don't think I'm playing at night.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby Bones
It's too far from home.
Eddie
Yeah, it's out there. The Opry is out there.
Bobby Bones
Okay, so Romo, Jessica, Travis Taylor.
Eddie
Think famous.
Bobby Bones
Okay, but I don't want to hear anything.
Eddie
Well, famous, famous.
Bobby Bones
I think David Beckham, Victoria Beckham. If you're like. But that's soccer.
Eddie
Is that your guess?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but you're just not a soccer guy. I don't know that you'd put that in the top five, but yeah, I'LL guess it.
Eddie
Number two, David Beckham, Posh Spice.
Bobby Bones
Let's go.
Eddie
And they got married. They're still married now.
Bobby Bones
You didn't do, like, Troy Eggman, Lori Morgan, which I brought up?
Eddie
No, no, no. I didn't do that. And one of them I feel like I should take off the list because I had to look it up. All the other ones came to my mind quickly.
Bobby Bones
So there's two left.
Eddie
There's two left.
Bobby Bones
Are they both in my lifetime?
Eddie
No, one of them is. One of them is not.
Bobby Bones
You want to guess.
Eddie
Athletes that dated hotties?
Bobby Bones
So I think of, like, Kris Humphries dated Kim Kardashian. They got married. Dated Kim Kardashian.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
But he wasn't super famous.
Eddie
But he was the athlete. He was the athlete that dated famous hotties.
Bobby Bones
Kim Kardashian.
Eddie
Is that one of your guess?
Kevin
No. Did you say Tony Romo?
Bobby Bones
I did, yeah.
Eddie
It's on the list as number three.
Kevin
Dated famous hotties.
Bobby Bones
Okay, so let's go into the football space. Who's dated famous?
Eddie
You don't want to guess Chris Humphries?
Bobby Bones
I don't. I don't think he's famous enough. Have the Jenners dated other athletes?
Eddie
There's.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah. Like Devin Booker and Kendall Jenner.
Eddie
That's a good one. I didn't think about that.
Bobby Bones
Oh, you didn't put that on there.
Eddie
I didn't put that. I would definitely.
Kevin
That one's not on there.
Eddie
I think I would put that one on over one of them. I'm just gonna tell you, dude, you already guessed. Was Chris Humphries. And Kim Kardashian. Kim Kardashian is the hottie. That was huge. But that's number five.
Bobby Bones
I think I'd have probably gone Reggie Bush over Kris Humphries. Was Kim Kardashian.
Kevin
What?
Eddie
That's crazy. Reggie Bush did here.
Kevin
Who? Oh, Tristan Thompson.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
That's Chloe.
Eddie
That's Khloe Kardashian.
Kevin
Yeah.
Eddie
And then Lamar Odom.
Kevin
Yeah. Yeah.
Eddie
Jeez.
Bobby Bones
There's one more. Huh? One more in my lifetime.
Eddie
No.
Bobby Bones
Oh, and this is old school. Black and white, Black and white.
Eddie
Og probably the OG where the whole world was like, that's crazy.
Bobby Bones
If it's black and white, it's probably not gonna be NBA. NBA really? Didn't start popping until Magic Bird era to where they were famous with a famous person, like, able to get a really famous person. So I'm like, NBA out in NFL.
Kevin
Who?
Bobby Bones
Even Joe Namath in the NFL, there's, like, only few stars that transcended Right. But, like, the sports for black and white days were boxing, horse racing, and baseball.
Eddie
Ooh, boxing. Been good.
Bobby Bones
I don't even know anybody, but those were the sports. Because I listened to this history podcast. I was talking. It basically talks about the sports that were the most popular. And, like, horse racing. Not on the mark, but horse racing. Boxing was popular, and baseball were the big ones. I'm not gonna. Horse racing. I'm cutting out.
Eddie
That's my number.
Bobby Bones
Because I don't know who Seabiscuit was dating. My number four. Yeah. Seabiscuit wasn't in the news. Boxing. If it's not like, Muhammad Ali.
Kevin
Yeah. And he. He didn't. Anybody.
Bobby Bones
Joe Lewis.
Eddie
Don't know.
Bobby Bones
George Foreman.
Kevin
No.
Bobby Bones
So we go to baseball. Mickey Manel.
Kevin
Which one dated Marilyn Monroe?
Bobby Bones
Joe. Joe DiMaggio. Great one. That's our answer. Joe DiMaggio. Marilyn Monroe.
Eddie
Ding, ding, ding. Marilyn Monroe.
Kevin
Like, there's one of them that did. I know that.
Eddie
That. I mean, that was a big deal.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I'm sure.
Eddie
For back in the day.
Bobby Bones
I'm sure you have a list.
Kevin
I do not. I misunderstood the whole thing.
Bobby Bones
Oh, wow. What happened?
Kevin
I just read it wrong. I read it as. This is.
Bobby Bones
What did you read it as?
Kevin
I read it as. These are what we're gonna go over tomorrow. I didn't see the whole. Come up with your own random.
Bobby Bones
Got it.
Kevin
So my fault for just skimming through it.
Bobby Bones
You do five ways. Kevin's an idiot.
Kevin
Yeah.
Eddie
Oh, I like it.
Bobby Bones
Okay, top five NFL players who had cool hair.
Eddie
Oh, this is good.
Bobby Bones
This is mine.
Eddie
Okay, let's guess Kevin, since you didn't have a list. Dennis Rodman's got to be on there.
Bobby Bones
Oh, great one. But I said NFL players.
Eddie
Well, Dennis Rodman didn't play in the NFL.
Bobby Bones
He could have. Probably the Boss Bosworth didn't. Yes.
Kevin
Yes. Nice.
Eddie
Yes. He played. I mean, it wasn't very long that he played in the NFL. Huh.
Bobby Bones
He had a. Yeah, he. A couple years. A few years.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
Because I remember that.
Bobby Bones
But yeah, boom. With the Bo Jackson. Yeah.
Eddie
That's cool.
Bobby Bones
I think also, him being in Seattle hurt, too, because you're over in those markets, especially then, like, you're in the west coast markets. Then television wasn't the same. They weren't showing games and markets.
Eddie
Correct.
Kevin
What about trying to think guys with drives that would get pulled on, like a Chris Johnson and. Oh, see, like, Chris Johnson, top five.
Bobby Bones
NFL players with cool hair. Chris Johnson would have made honorable mention. He's not my top five, though.
Eddie
He did have long dreads.
Bobby Bones
I did have him on his honorable mention, but he did not make top five.
Kevin
Derek Henry, he's another dread guy.
Eddie
Oh, Derek Henry's got that one. That one dread that comes out.
Bobby Bones
Is that your answer?
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Incorrect.
Eddie
Let's think. Let's think. Oh, well. Patrick Mahomes. Man, when he his hair, kids all over the place were doing that mullet thing. Yeah, it's like a faux hawk mullet thing.
Bobby Bones
You only get three strikes. Is that your answer?
Kevin
Oh, we. We. I have two. Huh? No, you only have one.
Eddie
Okay, I have to go. Mahomes.
Bobby Bones
Wait, think about, like, made honorable mention, but did not make it.
Eddie
Really?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Kevin
Head and shoulders commercials.
Eddie
Oh, Palomalo.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Number one answer. Troy Paloma.
Eddie
Good job. Kevin. Do we have three strikes each?
Bobby Bones
Nope. We got three total.
Eddie
Dang it.
Bobby Bones
Your teamwork.
Eddie
Dang it.
Bobby Bones
Okay, really got to pay off here.
Eddie
So we got one. One.
Bobby Bones
You got Palomalu at number one, Brian Bosworth at number two. I'll say. One of these guys has been named, but in another category.
Eddie
Oh, my category.
Bobby Bones
It didn't. Who knows, dude? You're the only other.
Eddie
Okay, so who was Tony Roma? Didn't have good hair.
Bobby Bones
I said named. I didn't even say made the list.
Eddie
Oh, named.
Kevin
Oh, man, that messes everything up.
Eddie
It does mess everything up. Joe Montana had good hair. Reggie bush.
Kevin
Did Joe DiMaggio have hair?
Eddie
No. He's a football player.
Kevin
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Eddie
We talked about Reggie Bush. Who else did we talk about? My list.
Kevin
Joe Namath.
Bobby Bones
Correct.
Kevin
Boom.
Eddie
Dude. Joe Namath had solid hair. Correct.
Bobby Bones
Two more. I'll give you a hint on both of them. They're both defensive players.
Eddie
Oh, Lawrence Taylor. Didn't he have cool hair? Like, little, like, lightning bolts?
Kevin
Oh, yeah, it was cool.
Eddie
I feel like Lawrence Taylor had cool hair. Even, like, dyed it.
Kevin
Can you give us a decade or no? Is that too easy?
Eddie
Yeah, I gave you kind of, like, black and white.
Bobby Bones
I've given you, like, free pensions.
Eddie
I know, I know.
Bobby Bones
I've given you honorable mentions not being a strike. Lawrence Taylor made honorable mention. Wow. He would have been number seven, but it's only top five. I'll tell you. Number six was Odell Beckham Jr. Oh.
Eddie
That'S a good one.
Kevin
Oh, everyone had his haircut, too.
Bobby Bones
So 4 and 5, both defensive players, both white.
Kevin
Oh, J.J. wat? No.
Eddie
Howie Long had cool hair.
Kevin
Oh, that's a good one.
Eddie
Kind of had, like, a buzz cut, but it was spiky.
Kevin
Yeah, it was like a mullet buzz.
Eddie
Yeah, he's defensive. You want to go long. How? Come on.
Bobby Bones
How?
Kevin
Show me Howie Long.
Eddie
Howie Long.
Bobby Bones
Packers.
Eddie
Oh, Matthews.
Kevin
Oh, dude, the long Goldilocks.
Eddie
Long hair.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And at number five, Vikings.
Kevin
Jared Allen.
Bobby Bones
Correct.
Eddie
He did have cool hair.
Bobby Bones
Correct. You on my other list?
Eddie
Yes, sir. Bring it.
Bobby Bones
Best NFL players to wear. Number 88.
Eddie
Oh, let's go. All the Cowboys. Wait, hold on. No, I don't want. Those aren't strikes. Hold on. Let me. Let me reel it in. Because, dude, you got CD Lamb. You got DEZ Bryant. You got Drew Pearson. You got Michael Irvin. Those are all Dallas Cowboys. Who wore 88?
Kevin
Who else wore 88?
Bobby Bones
Who are you guessing as your first guess?
Eddie
Michael Irvin.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Michael Irvin. Number one. Number 88.
Kevin
Good job. Yeah. You put CD above Dez.
Bobby Bones
Well, they both could be on there. It doesn't matter. You're just trying to get on the list. Or if they're both, there's no way.
Eddie
You could have put all the Cowboys on there. You should have put all the Cowboys on there, but there's no way you did. Who else is 88? 6. Let's stay away from the Cowboys for a second.
Kevin
Trying to think. Not Randy Moss, not what was Andre Johnson. He's 81.
Eddie
Jerry Rice was 80. Do we got their CD in there? CDs got to be on there, right? What do you think, dez?
Kevin
Des was. I think CD is better, but does did it for a little longer. As of right now.
Eddie
Go. I'll let you pick this one. I feel like. I feel like we got to go with one of those dudes.
Kevin
Let's go.
Bobby Bones
CD number five. CD Lamb.
Kevin
Nice.
Eddie
Good job, Kevin. Dude, we gotta think of something else other than the Cowboys, though.
Kevin
I know what I.
Bobby Bones
Two down, three to go.
Eddie
I can't. Jackson, Smith and Jibba. Who else is 88? Oh, you said Randy Moss is not 88, right?
Kevin
He's 84. 81.
Eddie
Chris Carter.
Kevin
Chris Carter. He was 80.
Eddie
80.
Kevin
Larry Fitz was 11. Calvin Johnson. Oh, he was 81. He was 81.
Eddie
Good call. Yeah, dude. This is three left.
Bobby Bones
10 seconds left.
Eddie
This is tough. Let's go to the Cowboys. Des Bryant.
Bobby Bones
Correct. Number three.
Eddie
Nice. Oh, man. Oh, man.
Bobby Bones
So you got two left.
Eddie
So could Drew Pearson be. There's no way he put Drew Pearson on the list.
Bobby Bones
I've got three Cowboys, Irvin, DEZ and CD so far. One, three, and five.
Eddie
This is terrible. All I have is Cowboys.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah.
Eddie
Terrell Owens.
Kevin
81.
Eddie
Oh, my gosh. All 81s.
Kevin
Yeah, I know a lot of 81s.
Eddie
Steve Largent.
Kevin
Gotta throw a White guy in there.
Eddie
Oh. What about some of the West? What, was Welker. No. 84.
Kevin
I think he was 81, too, or. No.
Eddie
Oh, Randall Cobb. Was he 88 with the Packers? There's no way he was 88 with the Cowboys.
Kevin
No, he's 18. He was 18?
Eddie
Oh, my gosh.
Kevin
Yeah, he was 18.
Eddie
This is hard, dude.
Bobby Bones
All right. Need an answer, dude. Dude.
Kevin
Let's do it.
Eddie
Drew Pearson with the Cowboys. Drew Pearson.
Bobby Bones
Strike one.
Kevin
Dang.
Eddie
Come on, Kevin. You didn't put a list together, dude. Come up with something.
Bobby Bones
After strike two. I'll give you a hint.
Kevin
Oh, who's the white guy for the Jets? Trebette. Yeah.
Eddie
So you don't know how to say his name or you think he's on the list?
Bobby Bones
Do you not have anybody else, though?
Eddie
I'm 88.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I'm pretty.
Eddie
Marcus Allen.
Bobby Bones
I'm pretty sure they're both in the hall of Fame.
Eddie
No, he's a running back dude.
Kevin
It might. Well, now you got me thinking about Steve Largent, too. Steve, what number was.
Eddie
Hey, yeah, throw Steve Large on the list. Can we guess?
Kevin
Was he 88?
Eddie
I feel like he was.
Kevin
I don't know that one.
Bobby Bones
Is that your guess?
Eddie
Seattle Seahawks. Steve Largent.
Bobby Bones
That is incorrect. Steve larger was number 80.
Eddie
Oh, gosh. So many 80s and 80 ones.
Bobby Bones
All right, all right.
Eddie
Need a hint.
Bobby Bones
I think the hint was they're both in the hall of Fame.
Eddie
Oh, my gosh.
Bobby Bones
They both are known for playing for AFC teams, although one of them. One of them played his whole career with the same team, one switch. But I think mostly he's known for playing for the AFC team. They're both AFC guys. One's not a wide receiver.
Kevin
Gotta be a tight end.
Eddie
Oh, that's a good.
Kevin
Winslow.
Eddie
Who's the. The Atlanta Falcons guy?
Kevin
Oh, yeah, Tony Gonzalez.
Eddie
Was he 88? I feel like he was 88.
Kevin
Yeah.
Eddie
Good call on the tight end. Tony Gonzalez.
Bobby Bones
What team would you say Tony Gonzalez is most known for?
Eddie
The Falcons?
Kevin
No, the Chiefs. Yeah, the Chiefs. Yeah.
Eddie
Is he on there?
Bobby Bones
Tony Gonzalez, number two. That was the one I was talking about. Played for one afc.
Kevin
I was thinking just receivers.
Eddie
And then the next one was wide receiver, afc.
Bobby Bones
His whole career.
Eddie
Hall of Famer and played with the same team.
Kevin
Oh, boy. Oh, he is a Hall of Famer.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Let me make sure.
Kevin
I was gonna say demarius Thomas.
Bobby Bones
Make sure he's in hall of Fame.
Eddie
You say he's a receiver.
Bobby Bones
This person was inducted in the Pro Football hall of Fame in. In the year.
Eddie
Come on. This is huge.
Bobby Bones
2016.
Eddie
Yeah. But I mean, that could be just the year they were inducted.
Bobby Bones
Well, it is the year they were inducted.
Eddie
I know. So that means they could have played like. I don't know.
Kevin
You said nfc, afc, afc, afc, afc. One team his entire career.
Eddie
Did you say he's a receiver?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
You say he's a receiver?
Bobby Bones
I didn't say that, but I will now.
Eddie
Colts. Ty Hilton.
Kevin
Oh, yeah. Colts Marvin Harrison.
Bobby Bones
That's it.
Kevin
God.
Eddie
Oh. How did we get that?
Bobby Bones
Well, I gave you like an hour.
Eddie
Crazy, though.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, for the most part.

Here's what I love about impossible. You don't have to pick. It tastes great. It's delicious meat made from plants so you get to eat good and still go big. I'm talking about full on protein and full on cheat day meals without the cheat day fills. It's fuel for your body. And it tastes delicious. That is the most important part, right? It comes from plants. It grills like beef. It's not. Or it's. And it's impossible. Look, I love burgers. There's nothing like the grill going nice summer afternoon, getting that perfect burger, stacking it high, the whole deal, right? Summertime burgers. But I also like knowing that I'm not wrecking my cholesterol or feeling super heavy afterwards. It's everything you love about meat without the guilt of meat. Impossible lets you have both. It's awesome. So if you're like me and you want to eat good and you want to feel good, grab some impossible meat products next time you're at the store, red packaging. You can't miss it. It's everything you want from meat and everything you didn't expect from plants.

Bobby Bones
Question. You've been watching Joe Mixon at practice?
Eddie
No.
Bobby Bones
This is 75 yard ball me through for a touchdown. Joe Mixon. Everywhere he goes, he puts up film.
Kevin
Joe Milton.
Bobby Bones
Joe. Sorry. Joe Mixon. Oh, Milton.
Eddie
Yes. I've been.
Bobby Bones
I've also seen mixing at practice with Texans. Yes. I was like, wait, good point.
Eddie
I saw a dumb video where they were comparing Dak to Joe Milton. It's like, guys, that's so mean.
Bobby Bones
Like, nobody has the Milton army. I think Milton's got the biggest arm in the NFL probably. He's always had that, even when he was a Tennessee. I mean, supposedly he wanted to start with the Patriots. That's why they traded him. What'd you know about that?
Kevin
Yeah, he got Drake, ma', am, sorry. Get out of here.
Bobby Bones
And so Joe Milton now is crushing 75 yard touchdown.
Kevin
Yeah, he is a practice machine. He looks like the guy in practice. He was the same thing with the Patriots in just one year. Everyone's like, oh, my gosh. And then preseason, remember last year he played and people were like, oh, my gosh. Then he won the final game when we needed to lose the game and it was like, get out of here.
Bobby Bones
That I remember that. Yeah, he won the game when it needed to be lost.
Kevin
Yes.
Bobby Bones
That means he won with like extra against him, though.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
She gets fired up.
Eddie
Do what if, like, well, Dax going.
Bobby Bones
To miss games for injury.
Eddie
Oh, just.
Bobby Bones
You're just like, sun comes up, sun goes down. Dak is going to miss some games for injury.
Eddie
I don't know, man. He says he feels great. Like the healthiest he's ever felt. Well, probably not the healthiest, but.
Bobby Bones
But does he say that?
Eddie
He said he feels really, really healthy. That felt good for him.
Kevin
That's awesome.
Bobby Bones
What is your actual expectation? Not your rose colored glasses. What is your actual expectation of the Cowboys?
Eddie
I think that we make the playoffs again and we advance to the playoffs last year.
Bobby Bones
No, no, that's why you said again.
Eddie
That'S our miss last year. And then so we're going to go back into the playoff game and then we will probably win the first playoff game and then lose the second.
Bobby Bones
So super wild card. You win that one.
Eddie
Yes. And then we lose.
Bobby Bones
We lose the first right before the division.
Eddie
Yes. We won't make a division championship, conference.
Bobby Bones
Championship, whatever that is.
Eddie
That is my prediction.
Bobby Bones
Because anything below that is disappointment to you.
Eddie
Absolutely.
Bobby Bones
Anything above that is that fulfilling.
Eddie
That's going to be amazing.
Bobby Bones
So if you win a game in the playoffs, you are good.
Eddie
Yes, because we haven't done that in a long time and that's going to be good. And that hopefully will get us in the super bowl because it's never happened next year.
Bobby Bones
Because you just said you're happy.
Eddie
No, I'll be happy. But I mean, if they go with the super bowl, of course I'd be ecstatic.
Bobby Bones
No, no, but I'm saying if they just win one game but they lose the second playoff game in like heartbreaking fashion, which they often do.
Eddie
Yeah, that's okay. That's all right. It's a plus. We're trajectory upward.
Bobby Bones
So for the next year though, you feel good.
Eddie
Correct.
Bobby Bones
Got it. And what is your expectation of the Patriots?
Kevin
If they were in the nfc? I'd say the playoffs, but I think.
Eddie
If they were in the nfc, yeah.
Kevin
The AFC is so much harder.
Bobby Bones
AFC is so much harder.
Kevin
Yeah.
Eddie
Well, what fantasy world we live in, they're not.
Kevin
I know, but I'm just saying if they were.
Eddie
What do you say about your grandma? Your grandma had what if your grandma.
Bobby Bones
Had ball should be king. Yeah.
Kevin
Eight wins. I'll be happy with eight wins. Eight and nine. I know people are talking about they can make the playoffs and this and that, but I just. The hype is so much and I'm like, I don't know about. Let's pump the brakes a little bit. So what, what though is it eight wins. So eight and nine right on the cusp of the playoffs. If they just miss. I'm okay.
Eddie
And they don't make the playoffs.
Kevin
Yeah, like, if they. But if they make the playoffs, it's a huge bonus.
Bobby Bones
I was thinking about my expectations for Arkansas football.
Eddie
Come on.
Bobby Bones
Because that's my team. If we win seven games, that's really good. Because we're not. We're not there to win games. We didn't build our roster to win games. It sucks.
Eddie
What did you build your roster for?
Bobby Bones
Existence.
Kevin
Fill up.
Bobby Bones
Fill up spots. It sucks. I'm so sad about it.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
If we, if we lose below seven, I might have to make some public declarations.
Eddie
Oh, we don't even want to think about that.
Bobby Bones
Dude. I know. And I've never done that. But if we only win six games and everybody's like, well, look how hard our schedule is. Everybody in the SEC has a hard schedule. Yeah, everybody. You don't play in the SEC and not have a heart. We play five ranked teams. Okay. So does everybody else. They either play 4, 5, or 6. And a lot of those teams that rank now won't be ranked later. So you don't really know who the good teams are to the end of the year. So seven games as got is the bottom for me. Anything below seven, I got to make some public declarations. I've never made a public declaration.
Eddie
I'm going to pray they get seven games.
Kevin
Dude, I kind of want to see the declaration.
Eddie
No, I don't. We don't want to see that.
Bobby Bones
Even seven, though, is like really. We've gone through all this. We're only winning seven games.
Eddie
I know, but that's your mark. That's your mark. So if they hit seven, you've got to be okay.
Bobby Bones
I need something. I need some optimism. Like, I just don't want to have to make a public declaration, you know?
Eddie
Nobody wants that.
Bobby Bones
Nobody wants that.
Eddie
Telling you guys, nobody wants that.
Bobby Bones
Nobody wants that.
Kevin
So it's gonna be tough.
Bobby Bones
That's what's up. Oh, yeah. You want to hear our schedule?
Eddie
Oh, yeah, I'd love to hear that.
Kevin
No, we do.
Bobby Bones
Like I mentioned, we play Notre Dame at Arkansas this year.
Eddie
Is that mid season, like game three or four?
Kevin
You got to go to that one?
Bobby Bones
I might. It just depends. Okay, here we go. Game one in Arkansas against Alabama A&M, August 30th. It's going to be quick.
Eddie
When we should have that one?
Bobby Bones
When? Game two in Fayetteville, Arkansas versus Arkansas State.
Eddie
To have that 1, 2, 0, I.
Bobby Bones
Think it's a Fayetteville, maybe in Little Rock, but It's whatever. Game 3, Arkansas at Ole Miss.
Eddie
Draw, toss up.
Kevin
But we don't know what they are either.
Eddie
We don't.
Kevin
They lost Jackson, Darton.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but they have that crazy good quarterback.
Kevin
Yeah, but we don't know.
Bobby Bones
Okay. Pick whoever you want. You're really betting money on it?
Eddie
This is straight money line, right?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, straight money line. And it's. It's in Oxford.
Eddie
Oh, I'm have to go. Ole Miss.
Bobby Bones
Arkansas at Memphis.
Eddie
Arkansas's got that.
Kevin
Arkansas.
Bobby Bones
Okay. Three. Three wins so far. Notre Dame at Arkansas.
Kevin
Sorry.
Eddie
Go with the Irish. Okay.
Bobby Bones
Still three wins, but.
Eddie
But it's gonna be a fun game.
Bobby Bones
Arkansas at Tennessee.
Eddie
Tennessee Govald.
Bobby Bones
Still three wins. Texas A and M at Arkansas.
Eddie
I don't know what's going on over there.
Bobby Bones
X, A and M. Stacked.
Kevin
They're always stacked.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, exactly.
Eddie
All right.
Bobby Bones
And we haven't beat them in forever.
Kevin
That's the one where you usually play at the Cowboy stadium, right?
Bobby Bones
I think it's possibly back. I don't know, you guys.
Kevin
Regardless, it's like two years in a row. You guys had to lead in that game or something.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, we don't win that game.
Eddie
Okay. Hey, I say you win that game.
Bobby Bones
I don't need your charity. I'm asking who you're betting on.
Eddie
No, no, I'll throw a little flyer on that.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Eddie
A little fun bet.
Bobby Bones
Auburn at Arkansas.
Eddie
You win that.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Mississippi State at Arkansas.
Kevin
You win that.
Eddie
You win that.
Bobby Bones
Arkansas. Texas.
Eddie
You lose that.
Kevin
Good luck.
Bobby Bones
Missouri in Arkansas lose it. They kind of have our number. But if all that goes, I think we win six games. That's if we win that a. M. Game.
Eddie
That's the one I gave you.
Bobby Bones
You gave me that for charity?
Eddie
No, it could happen, man. It could just be one of those random wins.
Bobby Bones
Gave me that for charity. So, yeah, that's what's up.
Eddie
So that puts us at 6 with that.
Kevin
And there's always one in there that you don't expect.
Bobby Bones
So there you go the other way that you don't expect to lose.
Eddie
Yeah, The Arkansas State one.
Bobby Bones
Oh, that'd be terrible. That'd be terrible for us. That'd be terrible. Okay, man, that's it.
Eddie
How exciting, though. How excited are you for football?
Bobby Bones
I can't wait. It's the most. It's the best. What I look forward to the most, because Arkansas football is my favorite thing in the whole world. That's not like that doesn't live in my house, dude.
Eddie
What's crazy, too, is I'm watching preseason. I have preseason games on the house. And, like, the kids are even excited about preseason games mostly just to see some of the kids that, like, got drafted and like how, like, we saw Ash and Genty, like, you know, play. Not that good, but it's cool.
Bobby Bones
Minus one yard, right?
Eddie
That's cool.
Bobby Bones
All right, cool. Thank you, guys. We'll see you later. Goodbye, everybody. Blow the whistle, Eddie.
Eddie
Here we go.

Transitioning from golf, the hosts delve into the world of youth sports, specifically discussing their children's involvement in travel ball.
Eddie shares his son's recent invitation to join a travel baseball team, highlighting the program's rigorous preparation:

Bobby and Kevin collaborate to identify iconic figures such as Steve Largent and Tony Gonzalez, highlighting their Hall of Fame statuses:
"Steve Largent was number 80." ([28:53])
"Tony Gonzalez, number two." ([29:51])
The segment is filled with friendly competition as they attempt to recall and validate their selections:
"You got CD Lamb at number one." ([25:58])
The conversation naturally transitions to the hosts' expectations and predictions for their favorite football teams, including the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Dallas Cowboys.
Bobby expresses skepticism about his college team's prospects, setting a personal benchmark:
"Anything below seven, I got to make some public declarations." ([37:31])
Eddie remains optimistic, predicting playoff advancements:
"Make the playoffs again and we advance... lose the second." ([35:20])
Kevin shares his cautious outlook on the Patriots, reflecting on the competitive challenges within the AFC:
