Thank you to the presenting sponsor of today's episode, American Express. I'm always traveling for work, which means I'm constantly trying new restaurants in a bunch of different cities.
Dan Flores
Some good, some bad.
Eddie
And while I love most of the food I try, the rewards I am earning with my Amex Gold Card while eating in these different cities is the best part. With Amex Gold you earn four times membership rewards points on purchases at restaurants on up to $50,000 per year. And now you can leave the restaurant and get straight to the action with access to card member entrances at select venues. When my husband came home from his military deployment, readjusting was hard for all of us. Thankfully, I found Talkspace.
Eddie
Talkspace provides professional support from licensed therapists and psychiatric providers online. Military members, veterans and their dependents ages 13 and older can get fast access to providers, all from the privacy of their computers or smartphones.
Andrea Gunning
I just answered a few questions online and Talkspace matched me with a therapist. We meet when it's convenient for me and I can message her anytime.
Morgan
It was so easy to set up.
Andrea Gunning
And they accept Tricare. Therapy was going so well, my husband and I started seeing a couples therapist through Talkspace too.

I'm Andrea Gunning, host of the podcast betrayal police lieutenant Joel Kern used his badge to fool everyone, most of all his wife, Caroline.
Morgan
He texted, I've ruined our lives. You're going to want to divorce me.
Abby Lee Anderson
How far would he go to cover up what he'd done?
Eddie
The fact that you lied is absolutely horrific. And quite frankly, I question how many other women are out there that may bring forward allegations in the future.

Eddie
Grotesque.

Morgan
Happy weekend, everybody. Abby is joining me this weekend. Abby, how are you?
Riley Green
Good. How are you?
Morgan
Yeah, you feeling good? You ready to chat? You dropped some big news since the last time you've been on here.
Riley Green
I did. I really did.
Morgan
Or as we put on the social post, bombshell news.
Riley Green
I know. Yeah. That was a dramatic headline.
Morgan
I'm like, whoa, we're adding some drama lately. You know, just spicing it up these days. Yeah, that's what we're doing on social media.
Riley Green
I'm fixing my mic. Don't worry.
Morgan
Oh. Cause we're in a different studio than we normally are to do best bits. Cause all of our studios are all taken up, so Abby and I are sitting in the big studio. It's unusual, weird.
Riley Green
It does feel weird.
Morgan
Okay, well, you dropped huge news. How are you feeling about dropping the big news?
Riley Green
Very like a vulnerable. Like, I feel like people know a lot because I did so well at keeping it private, and I'm like, oh, I said a lot.
Morgan
It's now all out there. And so you share that you're now living with your boyfriend, and he has two kids.
Riley Green
Yes.
Morgan
That was the big bombshell news, in case you missed it, which you can check, you know, go catch up on best bits. But vulnerability is hard. And sharing something that you kept for a secret for at least six months. The kids thing, you've kept secret for you how long you guys have been dating, which is a year and a half.
Riley Green
Yeah, but, I mean, I plan. I think I'm still gonna keep it, you know, not give too many details, just, like, privacy of everybody involved, so it makes sense.
Morgan
Having kids involved is a different role than just you and a boyfriend.
Riley Green
Yeah, it is.
Morgan
It's a whole different lifestyle.
Riley Green
It is, but it's going really well.
Morgan
And how is living together going?
Riley Green
Good. Like I thought it would be. I've never lived with someone, you know, and so I thought it'd be, I don't know, more difficult, but it's actually fun. It's like fun. We don't do anything really to annoy each other. Like, he's really clean. He's like more clean than me.
Morgan
Okay. I was gonna say, have you figured out your differences yet? Cause I feel like living together is when you start to see, oh, well, we have this a little bit different or we may operate a little bit differently here or there.
Riley Green
So, like, I get coffee every day and I leave it on the counter and I don't throw it away. He's like, are you done with this? It's like 4pm And I'm like, yes, I am.
Morgan
Is it a half drinking coffee?
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
Oh, you don't even finish them.
Riley Green
No.
Morgan
And you're buying coffee?
Riley Green
Yep.
Morgan
Okay.
Riley Green
Yep. Just latte every day. It's really bad. It's a bad thing. But I leave it out all the time and he just gets annoyed at that kind of stuff.
Morgan
Okay, so you are learning to pick up a little bit more.
Riley Green
Yeah. It's also weird because just not being at my house, you know, like feeling more in control. I'm at someone else's house and I still kind of feel like I'm, oh, can I get in your pantry? He's like, abby, you don't. What are you doing? You don't have to ask. Yeah, like, what are.
Morgan
What. You're getting comfortable with being in his.
Riley Green
Space when I have always been in my space, so I've never had to feel uncomfortable or like, ask if I can do something. So it's. Yeah, I'm getting used to that.
Morgan
And you're learning to different, like, finances. Like, who pays for what that side of things.
Riley Green
Yes.
Morgan
It's always an interesting and uncomfortable start and then you start to figure it out. But the beginning's always a little awky and quirky.
Riley Green
It really is awkward. Wait, what do you do? I'm curious how finances paying things. Yeah.
Morgan
In the beginning, he wanted to pay for everything.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
And it got to a point where I was like, okay, we're splitting. I don't like this. And so I would start paying for some things and he'll still insist in different areas. So we just kind of make sure both of us feel like we're contributing is really where it matters for me. I don't ever want to feel like a relationship is one sided. So that's kind of where it lies right now.
Riley Green
Yeah. Like. Like for us, he would just eat in every day. Like, he loves to just like cook at home and he has like a sandwich every day for lunch. I'm like, I want to go out all the time. I love eating out. And so I feel about making him pay for it. So sometimes I'm just like, can we go out? I'll pay for it.
Morgan
Got it.
Riley Green
Cause he would just save so much money. And he's a financial planner, like I said, so he's very good with money.
Morgan
Okay.
Riley Green
And budgeting.
Morgan
Are you good with money?
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh. No, no. Like, he did like a budget thing for me or whatever, and I was like, oh, my gosh. Oh, wow.
Morgan
Really?
Riley Green
Yeah, just. Cause I'm. He is so organized in everything. He spins and did like this whole sheet and how he, like, nets this much. He, you know, puts everything out itemized, like.
Morgan
Sorry, Eddie's sitting in the room with us editing videos, and he's given eyes. Okay, well, if you're gonna at least ask, you might as well turn on your mic.
Dan Flores
How much does he net?
Morgan
What?
Riley Green
No, it's just like a monthly thing.
Morgan
Oh.
Dan Flores
Yeah.
Riley Green
Not as much as he should because of me.
Morgan
Having a girlfriend really changed his financial planning, didn't it?
Riley Green
Yeah, it did. It did. Sorry. But yeah, so I'm figuring that out too.
Morgan
So you are learning your differences. How are you guys navigating the differences? Does it feel good? It feels like communicative. Or is.
Riley Green
Does. Yeah, because he's very patient with me.
Morgan
Okay. Has he understood your shopping habit yet?
Riley Green
Oh, gosh, we don't need to talk about that.
Morgan
You have mentioned on the best bits, and I'm not blasting you in any way because we have talked about all the best bits.
Riley Green
Yeah, we have.
Morgan
Abby loves to go shopping and will just buy stuff. Heck, there was one time when Abby was staying at my house and it was so sweet of her, but I showed back up after she was washing my animals and she had got me a Marvel sweatshirt. She's like, I was just walking the mall and I found it and I think, Abby, that's so sweet. But also. What are you doing?
Riley Green
I don't know. That's what I do. It's really bad. And I have, like, the three closets in my house are, like, full of clothes. And so I've had to try to consolidate all into his closet. And he moved everything, like, to the left. And I have, like, his whole closet. It's. Yeah.
Morgan
In all Fairness, boys have 10 outfit fits. They don't really have the same. Women's fashion is a little bit different. Guys can wear the same outfit for 10 plus years and never goes out of style. Women, everything we do goes out of style once a year. So it Is a different in sharing. And I do feel like women tend to take over more. Men tend to take over more in the shoe department. So does he have more shoes than you? No.
Riley Green
Still, he has more, I guess. Hats. He loves wearing hats. So he has like a thousand hats.
Morgan
They always have one. Like it's an accessory. There's something that they, like, have a lot of.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
But then every else is like a sliver of a closet.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
At least in most of the homes that I've seen of all of my friends.
Riley Green
Yep. No, mine, shoes, clothes, everything. So I gotta work on that. That is something that he's like, abby, you really need to work on this. This could be a serious problem in the future.
Morgan
Oh, yeah, it could be. But you're working on it and you're. It's okay. It's okay to have flaws and to work through them. It's also part of what living together is about, is understanding each other and learning each other more. Because when you're not living together, I feel like you kind of have this side of you that they don't know about. And then you live together. It's like, here's all of me. This is who I go.
Riley Green
Hope you like it. Yeah, but it's good.
Morgan
Yeah. And living with kids around, is that an adjustment too?
Riley Green
Yes, it is. Especially like with our jobs, because we have to work at night too, like to prep for the next day. And they just want to play and I just feel so bad. So I'm like, I have to go work. They're like, why are you working? You already worked earlier. I'm like, I know, I know. You don't get it.
Morgan
Yeah, so. So when they go to bed, is that when you start working again?
Riley Green
Yeah, basically.
Morgan
And how are you guys navigating alone time together too?
Riley Green
Well, he has them half the time, so I get to see him.
Morgan
So your moments happen on the off weeks when you guys kind of have some time together and go do stuff you want to do.
Riley Green
Like, he has them every other weekend. So, you know, it's like they're like completely opposite weekends we have the kids. It's just like all kids centered stuff, which is really fun. And then the next weekend it's like, let's go to Broadway or something. I don't know. Like, let's go.
Morgan
And it sounds like that's you sided, where you're like, I want to go do things.
Riley Green
Yes. But he also does too. Like he wants to get out. He's like, we should do something, but.
Morgan
Just better about it financially. Thinking, what's the best scenario?
Riley Green
I know, Yeah. I mean, those white claws downtown are expensive.
Morgan
You know, a six bag of white claws back home costs about half the price of one down.
Riley Green
No, I thought about that. I was like, we should add up how much you spend in like three months and just drinks that are overpriced.
Morgan
We had went. So I took my boyfriend for the first time for his first concert at the Ryman. We went and saw Tucker Wetmore's sold out show there, which was awesome. Tucker was so great. He plays insane piano, has really good piano skills. Would never have known. It was really cool. It was cool. He had standing ovations multiple times. He was just, like, super emotional, too, because it was at the Ryman. It was a really cool show to see, but that was his first one. And we walked up, he goes, dang, $28 for a double. And I was like, yeah, we're getting into pricey stuff down here downtown. He's like, you know, I should have assumed that.
Riley Green
But, yeah, no, it is crazy. Is that really what it is for a.
Morgan
It's like for a double vodka?
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
$28. Which to me at this point was so crazy about it. I'm like, oh, that's not that bad. But that's because I've been conditioned to.
Riley Green
Think from going downtown.
Morgan
But then I go to like a hole in the wall. It's like five bucks. And then I. That's when I realized, okay, I need to stay away from downtown.
Riley Green
No, a date night is expensive. Or if you want to take your family to a concert, like, expect to spend a lot with tickets and everything.
Morgan
I don't know how everything adding up.
Riley Green
Yeah, it's crazy.
Morgan
So, okay, how do you. How do you feel? We feel good about the convo.
Riley Green
I feel good.
Morgan
Do you feel super vulnerable or. We feel, feel, feel. Okay.
Riley Green
No. Good.
Morgan
Okay.
Riley Green
Let's just not go any. I'm just kidding.
Morgan
Hey, I. I found your threshold.
Riley Green
Okay.
Morgan
That's what I was finding. You can also ask me any questions you want to ask.
Riley Green
Are you guys living together?
Morgan
No.
Riley Green
Has he moved in yet?
Morgan
No, but we do spend a lot of time together.
Riley Green
Really?
Morgan
Yeah. Yeah.
Riley Green
What do you guys do, like, for fun? I was like, life or like, you go dancing?
Morgan
We did go do a bar crawl. We've had game nights. We do have a good routine together. We love to go to the gym and work out together, which has really helped me get into, like, a consistent routine and like, to cook together. He loves that I collect vinyls, so every time I bring A new one home. He's like, let's play it and we'll cook a dinner and hang out. We've taken the dogs on hikes.
Riley Green
Does he have a dog?
Morgan
No. Roscoe, though, is kind of his little dog. That's my foster that I've had, which at this point in moment in time that this will air, Roscoe will be starting his adoption trial, which is super exciting.
Riley Green
Really?
Morgan
Yeah.
Riley Green
Oh, he got adopted?
Morgan
Well, it's an adoption trial because Roscoe is very special. So we got to see how it goes for him, how he gets acclimated, what that looks like. But it's. It feels like it'll be really successful for him. So he's kind of taken on the ownership of Roscoe a little bit because Remy has her own personality and she's. She demands attention. So he's kind of taken over the role of Roscoe's owner a little bit, in a way. And then we'll take a little break after we have Roscoe and he's in his home, and then I'll foster another one at some point.
Riley Green
But have you met your boyfriend's parents?
Morgan
Yes.
Riley Green
Or family. Really?
Morgan
I've met his mom and all of his siblings.
Riley Green
Oh, wow.
Morgan
His dad yet. No one sibling does. Another one is about to be here, and then another one lives in another state, and then his mom and dad don't live here. That's so.
Riley Green
Oh, how was that?
Morgan
It was good. I met him off for a brunch and then a few weekends later they were in town again for Mother's Day and they had a bit of week. He's very, very close with his family, so that's when we did game night and they had a whole barbecue and hung out with him. One of his brother came and joined us for our bar crawl that we did, and it's been going really well, I think. I have made good impressions, I believe. Plus.
Riley Green
Plus, that's good.
Morgan
Yeah, it feels good. And he'll meet my family over CMA fest.
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh. All of them are coming in town.
Morgan
My parents and my sister and brother in law. So he'll meet some of them.
Riley Green
Oh, my God. Are you nervous?
Morgan
No, but it's so funny. He has like my parents, they just mispronounce names all the time. Heck, they call me the dog name all the time.
Riley Green
Really?
Morgan
I don't know why. It's just like a parent thing, I think. And it's. It started happening like 10 years ago. But they'll call me. They'll be like, lola, I'm Like, I am Morgan. And so when I tell, like, they know his name, and they're like, well, it's kind of common with another name. So just, you know, give him a heads up that, like, that's not on purpose. And I'm like, can you guys just get his name right? Can we just not mess up his name? Because it makes me feel a little weird.
Riley Green
Yeah. Wait, do you have a nickname for him?
Morgan
I do have a nickname.
Riley Green
You do have. He said it.
Morgan
No, but. Well, the nickname that the show members, not show members, show listeners have come up with is IRL Guy. Because I met him in real life.
Riley Green
Okay. Yeah.
Morgan
And we posted, like, the thing was, like, met Guy in irl, which is in real life. So he's become IRL Guy.
Riley Green
But you did, like, a hard launch a little bit. I mean, it was pretty. I feel.
Morgan
Medium launch.
Riley Green
Medium. Yeah. Yeah.
Morgan
Because I didn't tag him and I didn't show his. Quite his face yet.
Riley Green
Yeah. So the dancing one.
Morgan
Yeah, but you'd have to, like, stop. You'd have to screenshot, zoom in, and. Hey, it's kind of blurry.
Riley Green
It can be done.
Morgan
It can.
Riley Green
It will be done.
Morgan
Well, I also think Instagram's done me dirty because he has his profile and stuff's out there, so I think some people have already discovered him.
Riley Green
Did they message him?
Morgan
No, but he started having enough people follow him. I was like, yeah, people found you.
Riley Green
Oh, wow. Yeah. Okay.
Morgan
So I was like, I should just. I mean, whatever, because he's posted, so I don't care what he does. He can do whatever you want. It's different. And he. He never cared if I did. I just. I'm so. I'm so protective. I'm protective in general of everybody on this show and just how we do things with personal lives. Because I just. I feel very mama bear in a way of just making sure everybody feels okay and comfortable. And so with other people in my life, I feel very mama bear. Protective of, like.
Riley Green
Yes.
Morgan
Are you ready for this?
Riley Green
I know, because they're not in. They're not in this.
Morgan
Yeah.
Riley Green
They're trying to live their life over here. And then.
Morgan
Yeah. And then you're like. And then they get a, like, little whiff of it and you feel.
Riley Green
Okay.
Morgan
That's a lot. I wasn't prepared, so I'm like, genuinely, are you ready for this kind of thing? And that seems so dramatic, and it really isn't that dramatic, but I just am protective. People have a lot of opinions and they just say a lot of things. So I don't. I signed up for that. They didn't.
Riley Green
Well, that's why I waited so long to, like, say about the kids. But I just. I don't know. I mean, I was gonna just say, like, I moved in with him, but then I didn't want to leave that part out. It's kind of a big deal.
Morgan
It is, because. And it's also really hard when what you do every day is part of this show is talking about our personal lives to leave out a very significant portion. It's like any. Any, like, lunchbox saying, hey, I. I didn't have a kid, and he doesn't talk about it for a year.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
Or Eddie not being able to talk about adopting his kids for a year. That would be really hard because it's a significant part of your life, and we have to send in personal stories all the time. So how are you all of a sudden just going to omit this big portion of. It's hard. And you try and hold onto it to protect it, but at the same time, like, it is part of your life now, and that's hopefully a part of your life for the foreseeable future.
Riley Green
I know. It's crazy. It's still crazy, Danielle, because I was just like, the one always, you know, I don't know. Even Bobby said it. Like, he's like, you're like the last one I thought on the show that would ever. I don't know, was it living with.
Morgan
Someone or having dating someone?
Riley Green
With a guy.
Morgan
Oh, yeah.
Riley Green
You know, just being with a guy.
Morgan
Just in general. Well, you know, listen, they're also waiting for my downfall, so it's fine, you know, that's. We're waiting for both of them, so it could still happen. There's plenty of time left in my life.
Riley Green
Hopefully it's true. Just don't rush anything.
Morgan
Yeah, we're living it up. Okay, we're going to take a quick break. I'll be right back. We can talk about it some more. We can get into some other fun stuff.

Caroline's husband was living another life behind the scenes. He betrayed his oath to his family and to his community.
Eddie
She said you left bruises, pulled her.
Morgan
Hair, that type of thing. No?
Abby Lee Anderson
How far would Joel go to cover up what he'd done?
Eddie
You're unable to keep track of all your lies, and quite frankly, I question how many other women may bring forward allegations in the future.

But anything can be used as a tool of avoidance with women, any kind of thing where there might be this underlying edge of self sacrifice as martyrdom. If you're never filling, you're telling yourself a story and you're actually avoiding what you should be doing, your life at the end of it is still going to be a Sum of your experience. Experiences. I know a lot of cops and they get asked all the time, have you ever had to shoot your gun? Sometimes the answer is yes. But there's a company dedicated to a future where the answer will always be no.
Eddie
Across the country, cops called this Taser the revolution.
Unknown
But not everyone was convinced it was that simple.
Dan Flores
Cops believed everything that Taser told them.

Morgan
All right. But overall, you feel really good emotions. Good. You feel happy.
Riley Green
I do, yeah.
Morgan
All the things. And I meant to ask you, are you getting rid of your place? You keeping it? Have you decided?
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh. Okay. So, yeah, that's where I'm still at. I still have it. And sometimes we stay there, like on weekends and so we can be closer together.
Morgan
Kind of like a little staycation.
Riley Green
Staycation.
Morgan
That's fun.
Riley Green
It is kind of what it is. And then my mom is going to be here for CMA Fest, actually, and going to stay there. So right now, because all my stuff's there. Like, I. I mean, I move my clothes and everything I use every day, but like I have a guest room with a bed and then my bed that's there and basically everything. A couch, tv. So I'm like, what all do I do with that?
Morgan
But that is the interesting thing about moving in with someone who has an established place, which is really awesome because you're set up and you don't have to go out and buy a house. It's awesome. But is it. It is an interesting dynamic because in that place is one person's stuff. But how do you make sure the other person coming in feels like it's also their space if you're not utilizing some of their stuff?
Riley Green
I know, I see that too. Like, I'm like, everything in mind. It's my couch. It's my this. And, like, the other day, I spilled something on his couch, and I felt really bad. I mean, it was clear it was a white claw. All I talk about is white claws.
Morgan
You love a white claw. Sponsor this girl already.
Riley Green
Seriously. I drink two water and white claw. Anyway, so I spilled it on there. But I felt really bad because it was just like, everywhere. And I was like, oh, my gosh, this is his couch. But he's always so, like, it's not a big deal. And he's like, you can decorate, like, put up decor that you want, you know, or, like, to make it feel like it's yours, too. And I'm like, that's really nice.
Morgan
Yeah.
Riley Green
I still in the back of my mind, though, you know, it is because.
Morgan
You feel like you're coming into someone's face and it was theirs forever. And now you're like, okay, well, it's not exactly mine. I wasn't here first.
Riley Green
I know. Yeah. Like, if I was in an apartment, you know, it'd be way different because it's just a lot easier to take on. I could, I don't know, get a storage unit or something. But with this, I'm like, oh, I mean, eventually I'll probably rent it out and I could do, like, I could do where it's furnished to something like that.
Morgan
And you can either confirm, deny, or not talk about this. But you and I have also talked about it was really hard for you to make this transition. Are you feeling better about things now and you don't have to talk about if you don't want to?
Riley Green
No, I actually. I really am. I thought it was going to be a lot harder. Like, I'd be like, oh, I'm missing it. And like I said, the drive is twice as long, at least. Like, it's a lot more like, in the morning and stuff. But it's not bad. It's really not. I like it. I kind of like being there and just, like, feeling part of a house and, like, a backyard and because mine's a townhome.
Morgan
I mean, you went straight from city girl life to suburban mom.
Riley Green
I know. I know. It's so weird.
Morgan
I know.
Riley Green
I saw somebody comment. He's like, man, Abby jumped in the deep end. I'm like, yeah, kind of. I didn't just, like, dip my toes in.
Morgan
You find the right person and it's worth jumping in the deep end for. And I feel like that's what's happening. But internal battle. You were having a very. Just nervous of you. And I have talked about the other shoe dropping. You and I both had that feeling.
Eddie
Just.
Morgan
We're just waiting for it.
Riley Green
Yes.
Morgan
Because of things we've been through. Do you feel like the feet are both firmly planted on the ground?
Riley Green
Yeah, I do. Okay. Because, like, at the end of the day, you're like this. It's just like, a house. It's just wood, you know, and nails.
Morgan
You had to break it down to the wood and the nails.
Riley Green
It's a box with walls. I don't know. And, like, does that really matter at the end of the day? It's like. It's who you're with inside those walls.
Morgan
That was so cheesy.
Riley Green
That was so freaking cheesy. But it's cute.
Morgan
But it was very cheesy.
Riley Green
So I'm like, why am I so holding on to this house? I know it's, like, my first house that I bought, but why am I holding on so much to it when I knew eventually I was gonna move out? It's a townhome. It's pretty small, so I knew eventually, like, when I met somebody, I would move out into a different home. So now's the time.
Morgan
Yeah, but it's just. It was. I feel like, in a lot of ways, a transition you probably weren't expecting.
Riley Green
Mm.
Morgan
It was just a lot of different things. But you just. I mean, you took the bull by the horns. You said, let's go.
Riley Green
Yeah. Seriously. Well, let's go.
Morgan
And you were. I always knew that you were capable of that. I think you were just a little afraid. I think both of us are afraid of getting hurt, and especially when you're this far in for you, for your sake. So I get it.
Riley Green
Oh, for sure. Yeah. How do you feel like it's different with your current boyfriend than, like, others in the past? Like, why does this one feel so much more, like, secure?
Morgan
I think I feel different. I think that's a big part of it.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
And I think I finally attracted the right person that I was looking for. I think it has a lot to do with it. I don't think I could. I think I talked about this with Eddie a little bit, but I don't think I could be where I am now had that last relationship not happened.
Riley Green
Oh, wow. Really? Yeah.
Morgan
I think he gave me a lot of security and understanding, and I don't think it was meant to last, but it taught me a lot of things that I just wasn't prepared for in a healthy relationship because I'd just been through so many bad ones. So it gave me a Lot of tools I needed to even make the right one successful. And he, in general, feels different. He's an empath, which I've never dated before, which I always needed. And consistency is there. He's just very sure of himself. There isn't a lot of doubt. I'm not questioning ever. The support is insane. So there's just a lot of things that we're missing before. And each. If I, like, really look back, because hindsight's always 20 20, always when you're in those, it feels like this is it. This feels good, you know, whatever. And, you know, I could be putting my foot in my mouth and it happens again, whatever, but it doesn't feel that way. This feels safe. That's why I felt also safe to post. I felt, like, secure. I felt supported. And I just don't know that I ever truly had that before. But I couldn't tell you that when I was in it.
Riley Green
Isn't that crazy? That's so wild. Yeah, but I. I get it. It's like hindsight is 20 20.
Morgan
It really is.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
You learn so much. You look back on your. I think that's more the craziest thing. I really look back on just my 20s in general now, and it was just wild. My 20s were wild. I went through so many different things. And even just thinking of, you know, the listeners give me such a hard time for my dating life. And I shouldn't say all listeners, but some of them where it's just like, we've heard about this. Here we go again. I started this show at 23 years old. I mean, I was genuinely, like, in my metamorphosis of my twenties when I was on this show.
Riley Green
When you are dating, that's what you.
Morgan
Do is date in your 20s. What you're doing is dating. Especially at this point, most people aren't getting married till after they're 30. So really the 20s are about dating and understanding and learning relationships and what you want, what you don't want. And I was just full force going through that the entire time I was on the show.
Riley Green
That's wild.
Morgan
And that feels crazy.
Riley Green
It does.
Morgan
I know. So it's just weird in general to look back and just see the growth. And people always say that. You always hear from people. The wisdom is everything, and the knowledge that you gain is so powerful. But, yeah, you're 21 year old. Whatever.
Riley Green
I know.
Morgan
You can't tell me anything.
Riley Green
Yeah. You really have to see it for yourself because no one's gonna make you. Like, they can tell you Everything. But, like, if you don't look for it and see it yourself, you're just gonna be like, mm, okay, thanks. Thanks for the advice.
Morgan
Oh, and things that used to be ick would be now. Like, oh, I love that.
Riley Green
Like, we were.
Morgan
Yeah. We would talk about just so many different things on the show. When you hear these stories come in, like, dang old me would be like, that was an ick. New me's. Like, I love that. Which also feels weird.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
I don't know if you ever feel that way, and you're just like. You have this moment where you're like, I feel like I am a changed woman.
Riley Green
I mean, sometimes I, like, look back, I'm like, what was I thinking? Why was I. Ugh. Mm. I have those moments where I'm just like, oh, my gosh. And then my phone, for some reason, brings up old pictures.
Morgan
Oh, yeah.
Riley Green
Like, the display one. And I'm like, I know.
Morgan
And I have this about deleting pictures. I don't know why. Yeah, I can't delete pictures.
Riley Green
Really.
Morgan
I don't know if it's because I like the memory around somebody versus the memory, like, necessarily of them, but I like, Like a moment. If we traveled or we went somewhere. I'm like, I want those pictures. I was there. I went to a new state there.
Riley Green
Yeah. My memory is bad. I can't delete anything. I'm like, I won't even remember that happened in my life in, like, two years.
Morgan
You and I both have memory problems. This is not good for us.
Riley Green
No, it's not. It really is. And people don't understand when I'm like, I can't think. I don't know. I don't know what I did yesterday.
Morgan
Is this also because you had met. I always ask everybody if they. If there's anything they want to talk about. On part one, you had said your allergies. Are you having bad allergies related to also your brain?
Riley Green
Maybe that's it. Yeah. They've taken my brain power. No, they've been terrible. Have yours? I've been blowing my nose for two months. Like, my eyes are itchy. It's just rough.
Morgan
Well, and also, in all fairness, I can't tell between mine what is allergy, illness, or long Covid. So I'm just. I'm just permanently ill. But I did find bee pollen the other day.
Riley Green
Really?
Morgan
Have you ever had bee pollen?
Riley Green
No.
Morgan
It's really good. I put it on acai, and it's just like, these little balls of bee pollen, and they're supposed to be really helpful. One, for your immune system and two, especially. So the bee pollen I got from was from here, specifically in middle Tennessee, so it can help me with allergens. In middle Tennessee. It's helping, like, you develop an immune system, and there's smarter people who have better understanding and scientific knowledge behind it. But all that to say I did find bee pollen that I'm adding into my diet to try and help me out a little bit with my immune system with potential allergens, all of that stuff.
Riley Green
Oh, I need to do that.
Morgan
So it's expensive. I mean, I think like it was 18 bucks for a jar. Like a honey jar. If you think of like a honey jar, it's that same size.
Riley Green
If it helps, I'll do it.
Morgan
Yeah. Turnip truck here in Nashville.
Riley Green
Okay.
Morgan
They had some bee pollen, but I. And I don't know, again, don't. Much smarter people than me. But I. I'm willing to try everything at this point.
Riley Green
Yeah, I've done Zyrtec, Claritin. Nothing's working.
Morgan
It's the same concept. If you take a spoonful of honey that is from. Again, has to be from here, like where your allergens are and have a spoonful of honey every day. It's supposed to also help with allergens because it has to do with bees and their pollen and they're in the area.
Riley Green
The immunity.
Morgan
Yeah. Again, my brain's not functioning 100 anymore.
Riley Green
So I'll look it up.
Morgan
Something like that. But try it.
Riley Green
Try it. Yeah.
Morgan
It helps with your allergies. It could not, but it could also, at the very least, it's helping you with some vitamins and minerals that you need. So that's the worst case that happens. And it tastes yummy.
Riley Green
Good. Oh, it does. Yeah. I can't believe I haven't even had it.
Morgan
They're a little crunchy. Just like. Kind of like honey, but crunchy.
Riley Green
Okay.
Morgan
So not a bad taste.
Riley Green
I will try it.
Morgan
All right, we're going to take one more quick break. We have some more things to chat about going on in our lives. We'll be back.

Caroline's husband was living another life behind the scenes. He betrayed his oath to his family and to his community.
Morgan
She said you left bruises, pulled her.
Eddie
Hair, that type of thing.
Riley Green
No?
Abby Lee Anderson
How far would Joel go to cover up what he'd done?
Eddie
You're unable to keep track of all your lies, and quite frankly, I question how many other women may bring forward allegations in the future.

I know a lot of cops, and they get asked all the time, have you ever had to shoot your gun? Sometimes the answer is yes. But there's a company dedicated to a future where the answer will always be no.
Eddie
Across the country, cops called this Taser the revolution.
Unknown
But not everyone was convinced it was that simple.
Dan Flores
Cops believed everything that Taser told them.

Morgan
I'm actually shocked right now, Abby.
Riley Green
Why?
Morgan
Cuz you sent to me that you're. You watched Final Destination marathon? You watched a movie marathon? No.
Riley Green
All five of them?
Morgan
Who are you? You don't even watch one movie half the time.
Riley Green
I love movies now do you?
Morgan
Is this part of your newfound identity with a boyfriend?
Riley Green
Actually, we do watch a lot of movies and I love it because his TV is huge. It's like an 85 inch.
Morgan
Listen, a TV does make all the difference. Do you have a sound thing too?
Riley Green
I got him a sound thing.
Morgan
Sound Bard.
Riley Green
Bard. Sorry.
Morgan
We both called it a thing, so.
Riley Green
We didn't do very good there it goes, like on the mantel. And it is awesome.
Morgan
Does it come with a speaker that you also sit somewhere else?
Riley Green
No, that's. That was a little above my understanding budget or whatever, you know? So I'm like, you want to get those speakers that go along with it? That'd be awesome.
Morgan
Yeah. Did he end up buying them?
Riley Green
No.
Morgan
I was gonna say you could get it for a Christmas gift. They always have good deals on those on Amazon or Best Buy around different holidays.
Riley Green
Do they? But he has Sonos. Have you heard of that? Like with the app. Okay, those are. Oh, my gosh.
Morgan
Yeah, those are pricey.
Riley Green
The one I wanted to get, the sound bar, it was like 900, so I got like, the mini one.
Morgan
Okay. I'm talking, like, you know, just, like, the basics.
Riley Green
No, like, it's crazy. There are a lot. And so it's like an app. You control everything. So he has, like, three to watch, to listen to music on. You put them in different rooms.
Morgan
Abby, you're living in a smart house. This was my dream when I watched that movie on Disney Channel. Smart House. Do you remember Smart House?
Riley Green
I do. Yeah. That was awesome. Me too.
Morgan
Are you living in a smart house?
Riley Green
I mean, not really. I have three speakers.
Morgan
You don't have an AI robot?
Riley Green
I wish.
Morgan
That talks to you and tries to take over the house.
Riley Green
Did she vacuum or what did she do?
Morgan
She clean, turn it on and off.
Riley Green
The lights, make food until she malfunctioned.
Morgan
And then she, like, became obsessed with them. It's like, you're never leaving.
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh. I want to watch that.
Morgan
Wait, have you not seen that?
Riley Green
No, I just mean I want to watch it again. It's been a long time.
Morgan
I panicked for a second. I was like, you act like you know what I'm referencing, but I promise I've seen it.
Riley Green
It's so funny.
Morgan
It is, like.
Riley Green
It's good.
Morgan
I do wonder if it holds up now. Princess Diaries holds up. That and Lizzie McGuire movie. Because I've definitely watched both of those multiple times in the last few years.
Riley Green
You have?
Morgan
Yeah.
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh. I need to, like, do a hold.
Morgan
I. Sometimes I need just comfort, and I'll throw on one of my movies from the back. And as I'm, like, doing other stuff, I just need a little nostalgia or comfort in my life.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
And that's where I go to Disney Channel original movies.
Riley Green
I go to Halloween. Michael Myers.
Morgan
This is also what you. Why you watch freaking Final Destination as a movie. Do you both like horror movies?
Riley Green
Yeah. Huh. He doesn't like watching him, like, alone. Me either.
Morgan
I like watching him, let alone alone.
Riley Green
I love it. Oh, my gosh. Halloween.
Morgan
You crazy.
Riley Green
Like, during Halloween time. Just give me all the scary movies by myself. Like, let's go. But anyway.
Morgan
Wild.
Riley Green
Have you seen Final Destination?
Morgan
I think I saw the first few because they came out in high school and you went to the theaters with everybody. But they. They actually ruined my brain.
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh.
Morgan
Tanning beds.
Riley Green
Oh, yeah.
Morgan
Truck beds that have log the tree lodges on them. Ruined my brain. I still see those roller coasters. I already hated roller coasters. Made me hate them more. And that's. That's three that come to mind.
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh. Yeah, I do. That does Happen to me, though. Now when I'm driving, I see, like, a truck with all these logs. I'm like, oh, my gosh. Final Destination.
Morgan
See?
Riley Green
Well, I only did it because the new one is in theaters, so.
Morgan
Are you going to see the new one?
Riley Green
I do want to see it. Yeah. I haven't yet, but I had to get all caught up on those. Now I'm ready to go.
Morgan
I'm so proud of you.
Riley Green
Thanks.
Morgan
Even though I don't understand why those. But I am so proud of you. One, that you had a movie marathon, and two, that you're watching movies.
Riley Green
I knew you'd be shocked. I know.
Morgan
I am shocked.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
Did you ever watch any of the other ones that I told you? Did you ever. I don't remember. That was. That was an assignment from, like, a year ago, I think, when we were in the old studio.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
It's been a minute.
Riley Green
They were shows or movies?
Morgan
They were movies. They were classic.
Riley Green
Well, I. Ready, player one.
Morgan
You did for a minute. Yeah.
Riley Green
I loved it. Are they coming out with another one?
Morgan
They're supposed to be, but that was, like, five years ago.
Riley Green
Oh. Because I see it on Netflix. It's, like, one of the top 10 movies. I was like, it always is. Oh, okay.
Morgan
It's so good.
Riley Green
I thought they were doing it to, like, you know, get you ready for the next one coming out, but no, I hope so.
Morgan
Trust me that the day that comes, you will see me post about it. I will be so excited.
Riley Green
Okay. Let me know when you hear. I will.
Morgan
I think that was one. It was one. And you have your. You're getting your real ID as we are about to record this.
Riley Green
Huh? Like, after this.
Morgan
Wait, so you're not actually going to physically get it? Because it takes a few days to get to you. So I'm just, like, a few weeks.
Riley Green
But I'm going to do the process. That's what it is. I got to go, like, do my hair. I want to look good.
Morgan
Wait, but you got an appointment? I couldn't get an appointment when I did this way back in February until July.
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh. No. I don't know how I got lucky. I think somebody had a cancellation because, yeah, they were not until, like, July 15th. And then I just looked one day, and I was like, oh, my gosh, there's an opening in Nashville. Well, it's actually Franklin, so. But it's outside. But still, the other ones, I was looking in, like, two hours away. I was like, chattanooga? You got any appointments?
Morgan
But it really was. And I mean, Because I. When I went and did it, it was one day when Bobby was traveling. And I went as soon as they opened, literally 8:30. I was there as the doors were supposed to open. Yeah, There was a line. There was before the doors even opened. And I was 14th in line.
Riley Green
Oh my God.
Morgan
And I sat there for three hours.
Riley Green
Do you have to take like a driver's test?
Morgan
No.
Riley Green
Or like, do they check your eyes?
Morgan
You're just getting renewal, aren't you? Yeah, they do check your eyes.
Riley Green
Oh, God.
Morgan
But no, you do not have to do a driver's test.
Riley Green
Okay.
Morgan
Did you. Well, when did you have your other idea?
Riley Green
A long time.
Morgan
So you.
Riley Green
It's about to expire this year. My. So I think it's been like, what, 10 years.
Morgan
But you're sure you don't. Oh, you're sure you don't have a real ID already though?
Riley Green
No, I don't. But I look like so bad in my current one, so I'm really excited.
Morgan
You gonna go get all dolled up?
Riley Green
Like people, like, make comments. Like people at the airport, they're like, whoa, that doesn't even look like you. I'm like, good. Thank you. Thanks.
Morgan
I think they just have to entertain themselves somehow.
Riley Green
Maybe.
Morgan
When I wore bangs, I always got questioned.
Riley Green
You did?
Morgan
Yeah. Cuz my ID picture never had bangs. Right. So when I would go, they're like, this isn't you. I'm like, I. I literally pull all my bangs back and be like, hello. And they're like, oh, it is. I'm like, yeah, it's a haircut.
Riley Green
Yeah. Oh, we can't get our picture taken every week to get on our idea.
Morgan
Update this because I got a new hairstyle.
Riley Green
That is really funny. Oh my God.
Morgan
Yeah, I think they just like to have fun with that.
Riley Green
I'm just nervous that I'm going to be missing something. Like they're going to be like, did.
Morgan
You put this stuff in online? Because you can put the stuff in, like your documents online to get approved and then you just bring all the documents that got approved.
Riley Green
Oh, no, I didn't.
Morgan
You didn't do that.
Riley Green
I'm old school. I just like to show up.
Morgan
Okay, but you're gonna be one of those people who gets turned away. You know how many people I watch get turned away?
Riley Green
Are you serious? I have everything I need. I have my birth certificate, my Social Security card, proof of address.
Morgan
Like a bill?
Riley Green
Yeah, bill for your house.
Morgan
Okay. Two different ones. Do you also have. Let me just look it up for all the people who need help. Because apparently being old school.
Riley Green
Yeah. What if we don't want to do technology?
Morgan
It's literally on the government website.
Riley Green
It is?
Morgan
Yes. All you do is type it in, Abby. You need real id, Required documents, proof of US Citizen citizenship or illegal presence, proof of your full Social Security number, and two proofs of Tennessee residency. But I think they're specific about those. So you either need two. So a current utility bill, current bank statement, current mortgage or deal of sale, employer verification, paycheck, work stuff, something like that. You need two of those from list A, and then you need one from list B, which is your Taxpayer identification number, form I94 from United States citizenship or the I7. This is a lot of numbers. A lot of heart is hurting my brain.
Riley Green
Oh, my. Okay.
Morgan
I would double check it before you go. And I would bring more than you think you need because at the very least, it's all in your hands. I watched so many people get turned off. Like, they literally were like, no, you don't have what you need.
Riley Green
Oh, that's so bad. Oh, I can't imagine.
Morgan
Especially because you did get an appointment. I know. Just verify you have everything you could ever want and imagine.
Riley Green
Okay.
Morgan
Heck, I even saw people like, getting their names changed and they. If they had the signature in the wrong place on like, the marriage certificate, they'd get turned away. Oh, I witnessed a lot in my three hours while I was there. I made a lot of friends, too.
Riley Green
You were 14 in line and you were there three hours?
Morgan
They sat on number nine for like two hours. It was moving really fast. I was like, yeah, we're gonna get in and out. And then it just sat there. And I was like, are you kidding me?
Riley Green
They all went to lunch.
Morgan
Something happened. I felt like the scene in Zootopia with the freaking sloth.
Riley Green
Yeah. That is so funny.
Morgan
It's one of my favorite scenes.
Riley Green
Yeah. It's so accurate. Like, they would do that. That's the animal that's gonna be in the.
Morgan
It is. And that is exactly what it was. Like, that's how it was in my brain. All I was picturing was sloths. And sloths are my favorite animal. Literally. I cannot understand it. So. Yeah, I don't. I feel for people going through that.
Riley Green
Oh, yeah. I feel for myself.
Morgan
At least you have enough though.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
Okay. Any other fun things happening in your life before we. We jump out of here? Anything else you want to add?
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh. I don't think so. Just living life.
Morgan
Yeah. Living, living life.
Riley Green
Living, living life.
Morgan
Are you living large?
Riley Green
Living, loving what is it? Living, Loving. Fishing. Fishing. Loving every. Okay, never mind.
Morgan
Hunting, fishing and loving every day. Is that what you're trying to do? Luke Bryant song.
Riley Green
Yeah, I haven't been hunting yet. I mean, I haven't been fishing lately, so. But I am loving every day. What about you? Laughing and loving every day.
Morgan
Oh, I was gonna ask you. Hot take. Do you feel like Riley Green shaming his mustache or Morgan Wallen shaving his mullet was more controversial.
Riley Green
Oh.
Morgan
Or broke the Internet more. It's probably the better word to say, I think.
Riley Green
Morgan Wallen.
Morgan
Do you?
Riley Green
I just remember it being just a huge. When he, like, cut it off and, like, completely cut his hair.
Morgan
It was a wild moment because the mullet was so profound throughout. When he, like, spiked in his stardom into, like, the peak kind of of his. His career. Gone.
Riley Green
Because I feel like Riley didn't have his mustache that much. Like, we wouldn't be like, what artist has a mustache and think Riley Green?
Morgan
I would now.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
But to your point, he's. I think he started having it. If I remember correctly, I saw an interview that Ella Langley wanted him to have it for the. You, like, you look like you love me video. Music video.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
And told him to keep it. Or he had it and he was gonna shave it off, and she said, keep it.
Riley Green
And then he kept it, and he's.
Morgan
Kept it, but now it's gone. And I wonder. I also wonder if there's also theories online that it has to do with all that drama.
Riley Green
Yeah. What is going on?
Morgan
I don't know, man. But then I also saw Ella Langley post a TikTok video of her literally stirring the pot and saying something like she was singing a song from Kaitlyn Butts of, like, some. Dang it. I wish I knew what the lyric was, but it was like, if I was talking about you, you'd know it. Or, like, something to that effect.
Riley Green
That's funny.
Morgan
So there's certainly things happening.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
And I just don't know. They're just messing with us, though, also at this point. Because I have this feeling sometimes when, like, people think stuff is happening with me or they try and get info, I'll be like, let me stir the pot. Because it's funny. You're playing the game.
Riley Green
I know. I think they are.
Morgan
That's a whole thing.
Riley Green
And then having a show after the next day, people are saying they were normal. So, like, how do you know?
Morgan
They performed at sand in My Boots?
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
Seemed fine.
Riley Green
She brought him out. Like, she invited him during her time. Right.
Morgan
She didn't have to.
Riley Green
Yeah.
Morgan
She could have been like, if it's so bad, she could have been like.
Riley Green
Yeah, you're not bringing you out.
Morgan
Yeah, I'll get somebody else to do it. Like, she really could have.
Riley Green
So I'm confused. I don't know. I don't really follow that that much. Like, I know there's a lot happening, but I feel like people can skew it either way. Like, people were zooming up on Megan Maroney when they won the award. They see him, they're like, look at her face. And I looked at it, and I was just like, she just was standing there. What else is she supposed to do? So, like, I don't know. I really don't know.
Morgan
I know. It's so. It's so funny. And I don't even get that invested, and then it just all starts showing up in my fee. And then I'm just. Next thing I know, I'm down a rabbit hole. I'm like, why am I here?
Riley Green
Yep. Oh, it's gonna actually care now that we're talking about it. Even more videos. I know.
Morgan
That was so. That was a funny thing that I was watching online. But I do think it's hilarious when dudes cut their mustaches. I love a mustache. I also don't mind a mustache if you don't have one. Vice versa. I'm kind of indifferent. But I do think it's funny because I remember this very vividly when my dad. My dad, my entire childhood had a mustache. And then when we were in high school, we were convinced he should shave it. We're like, get rid of it. No longer the mustache. And I cried when he shaved his mustache because I thought he looked like a naked mole rat. I was like, where did it go? And he was like, you told me to shave it. I was like, I know, but put it back.
Riley Green
Did he get it back? Does he have one?
Morgan
No, he doesn't.
Riley Green
Okay.
Morgan
And now I'm used to it. You know, it was just that initial moment. But dudes do kind of look a little bit like a naked mole rat when they shaved the mustache, you know?
Riley Green
Yeah, yeah. No, When I looked at the Riley Greene picture, I'm like, oh.
Morgan
And not in, like, a bad way. It's just like. It's just full blown. Like, straight, clean shaves.
Riley Green
Yes.
Morgan
Just feels like a naked mole rat.
Riley Green
Because I like how you do it.
Morgan
Reminds me of.
Riley Green
Yeah, no, because Riley always has scruffy.
Morgan
Mm.
Riley Green
And then he went just, like, full on. Oh, I didn't recognize him. It Was weird.
Morgan
I know. And he still looks great, but it just. I don't know why. I will. Because of my dad. Mustaches and no longer having mustache remind me of naked mole rats.
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh. Your poor dad. He didn't look like from that.
Morgan
He didn't look like one. I just for some reason associated the two. Yeah.
Riley Green
Oh, if you're listening.
Morgan
My dad always listens. So for sure, call me about this one.
Riley Green
Hey, dad.
Morgan
Like, really? A naked mole rat?
Riley Green
I think you look great. No.
Morgan
Okay. I have a. I have a question. I am considering creating, starting doing a co ed softball and or volleyball team. But should I. Am I too old for that?
Riley Green
No, my boyfriend does it. He does volleyball. San. Volleyball.
Morgan
Would he want to play on our team?
Riley Green
Whoa. Would he? Maybe. But the only thing with him is it's hard because it's usually on like, the same night. Like every Tuesday. Yeah. And every other Tuesday. He wouldn't be able to with his kids.
Morgan
That's fair. Well, you all. If you can find a sub, that's all that matters. But yeah.
Riley Green
Oh, no, you're not too old. That's fun.
Morgan
I'm considering.
Riley Green
I'm all about it.
Morgan
But also all the softball stuff. Like, even the home run. I didn't want to admit this. I had like. I went and did some practice. Things had been a minute since I had practiced because I didn't get to play in the softball game the year prior because of my sister's wedding and bachelorette stuff. So I went and did some, like, practice. I think I might have messed up my shoulder.
Riley Green
No.
Morgan
And so, like, then I did the home run derby and I was like, I'm just gonna have to suck this up and do this.
Riley Green
It still hurt?
Morgan
Yeah.
Riley Green
Oh, shit. How'd you mess it up?
Morgan
I don't know. It's like. I think I just might have bruised it because, like, the road, I don't know that I actually, like, hurt my rotator cuff. I think it might just be super inflamed or something. But I'm also like. I want to start these things. I'm like, am I too old in the sense that my body is.
Riley Green
Oh, God. Okay. Yeah. When you say it that way, you know, age is just a number.
Morgan
I bounce back in the same way. No, it really is very active. But every time I get injured, man. I mean, like when I broke my tailbone rollerblading, or like when I ruined my hip from doing gymnastics, every time, it takes me at least six months to recover.
Riley Green
Oh, yeah. That's why I say no, to a lot of, like, ice skating. Like, it scares me, but it's. I get too cocky.
Morgan
I love activities.
Riley Green
I know. I do too.
Morgan
Maybe I just need to be like the Michelin Man. I put me in just like straight up. There you go, all the pads.
Riley Green
And then I can play the sand volleyball and pat. Oh, that's gonna be fun.
Morgan
Right? Because I've been playing. My boyfriend plays sand volleyball a lot and I've been playing filling in on some of his teams because I used to be a libero and like a back row hitter. But also sand volleyball is drastically different from court volleyball.
Riley Green
Oh, my gosh. I like, subbed in one time with mine. Yeah, not great.
Morgan
Did you play volleyball?
Riley Green
No, I'm a runner.
Morgan
That is true.
Riley Green
And basketball, but yeah, I did not. Volleyball is not my thing. It would break my wrist if someone spiked it hard enough and I tried to hit. Oh, I snap.
Morgan
Ma' am, you're not supposed to hit with your wrist.
Riley Green
What?
Andrea Gunning
Where do you hit?
Morgan
You're supposed to hit on your forearms.
Riley Green
Well, let's see.
Morgan
Like when you put your hands out, right? Like you close your fists together and you bump with your forearms. If it hits your wrist, like, you're not hitting correctly. There are some people who will, like, hit it with the back of their wrist because they're like last minute reaction.
Riley Green
Okay, that. See, that's where I messed up.
Morgan
But you're not supposed to.
Riley Green
Oh, I. My whole wrist was brown. Like, black and blue. Like, it was bruised so bad after that.
Morgan
That's. Unless you were. You're trying to set. Because if you were setting too, you use like your hands and setting, but you were bumping. You're attempting to bump and it hit on top of your wrist.
Riley Green
Yeah, just like right here. It was right here on that bone on the inside. By your thumb.
Morgan
Yeah. That's bad, girlfriend.
Riley Green
Yeah, it was really bad. I'm just very sensitive.
Morgan
So you're like, I would not like to fill in ever.
Riley Green
No, not really. Yeah, I mean, if. What about it? Maybe.
Morgan
Okay.
Riley Green
I play T ball.
Morgan
Okay. That's right.
Riley Green
Like during the derby, you guys did like, Bobby's like, abby, you want to hit? I'm like, oh, I think I'm good. I'm good. I don't know how this will go. I haven't touched a bat in like 50 years. Oh, yeah, 15. Yeah.
Morgan
Well, that's where I am right now.
Riley Green
But don't hurt your shoulder worse.
Morgan
I know. I'm having to take a break from the gym too. And it's just Not. I'm not very happy about it, but here I am.
Riley Green
I know. It's the worst.
Morgan
I know. So anyways, we're gonna get out of here.
Riley Green
Okay.
Morgan
Thanks for being here, hanging out with me.
Riley Green
You're welcome.
