The best bits of the week with Morgan, Part one. Behind the scenes with a member of the show.
Morgan
What's up, everybody? Happy weekend. Lunchbox is joining me. What's up, lunch?
Lunchbox
He's really happy.
Morgan
Okay. You waited for that yawn on purpose.
Lunchbox
I did. It just came. It's natural. I mean, stayed up late last night watching football all the way from Brazil. Thought about going to the game, but I knew I had to be here for best bits, and I didn't think I could get back in time.
Morgan
So are you talking about the Nashville SEC game or.
Lunchbox
No, no, no, no, no.
Morgan
Sc.
Lunchbox
The Chiefs, Chargers in Brazil.
Morgan
Oh, it was like an overnight game here.
Lunchbox
Well, I mean, I don't know. I don't know what time. I mean, I think Brazil may be on the same time zone.
Morgan
Why does some football games end up in other countries?
Lunchbox
Like, just to promote the NFL growth. You know what I mean? You want to grow the sport so you go to these countries so people will see it and be like, oh, cool, we should start learning football or we should start watching football. That's what it's like, marketing.
Morgan
Okay. But, like, Casey was just in Ireland. I had a bunch of friends that went to Ireland to watch K State.
Lunchbox
They were in Dublin. Why they got beat.
Morgan
Why college football, though? Also marketing. Marketing to market to watch college football.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Morgan
Feels crazy.
Lunchbox
And also maybe Dublin's like, hey, you know, tourist money, bringing the dollar, dada dollar bills, y'. All.
Morgan
I mean, it's super cool for fans to be able to.
Lunchbox
Pretty cool for a college kid to go to Dublin, Ireland, and play football.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
The NFL, they say they're. They don't leave the hotel in Brazil. They're scared. What, like, dangerous?
Morgan
Yeah. I feel like people travel to Brazil all the time.
Lunchbox
Yeah. Yeah. But I think they're targets. They're big. You can tell they are, you know, football players. Football players. And so it's like, all right, you know what? Let's probably not go out in public. So we're not the eye of a thievery.
Morgan
Gotcha. That's a bummer.
Lunchbox
Then.
Morgan
Then you travel that way just to play a game and you go home.
Lunchbox
But yeah, you're there. It's business.
Morgan
But I know I think about this like that a lot.
Lunchbox
That's. I mean, artists is different because most.
Morgan
Of them won't go and explore places that they go to. And that just bums me out because you go out to all these cool places and like, I was watching that Travis Kelsey Taylor Swift interview and. And she was talking about her ERAS tour and she was in all these countries and stuff. And I'm just thinking Taylor came and go explore those countries and just enjoy the fact that she's in.
Lunchbox
No, she could if she wanted to, but she just doesn't do it.
Morgan
Yeah, I feel like it'd be really difficult for her, of all people, to be able to go out and, like, do the touristy thing and, you know, see the tourist stuff.
Lunchbox
I really think if Taylor Swift, let's say she. I don't know. Does she do a concert in India?
Morgan
I think so. I mean, I think she was everywhere.
Lunchbox
Okay. I mean, if she goes to India, you don't think she can go look at stuff.
Morgan
I mean, not unless she has, like, multiple bodyguards. Because she's a. She is a worldwide pop star.
Lunchbox
Yeah, you're right.
Morgan
People know her everywhere.
Lunchbox
I assume she can afford bodyguards. I mean, just going off the data points that I have in my research of knowledge, I would say she could afford a bodyguard in India to walk around and look at things, but I.
Morgan
Just don't know that that's enjoyable because I think she need more than one. I think she'd have. Probably have to have a crew.
Lunchbox
But I think anywhere she goes, anywhere in life, she goes with a bodyguard.
Morgan
And isn't that crazy, though? That's what I was thinking about, because then this was also wild. So she was talking about the first. We know when they first started dating. Nobody really knew yet, but there was suspicion that they were. And she was talking about how she walked in the front gates of Arrowhead Stadium with his friends and nobody knew.
Lunchbox
Bam.
Morgan
Isn't that crazy?
Lunchbox
But that's what tells me that she could go to India with no bodyguards.
Morgan
Yeah, but if she's there, then people know. Nobody knew she was going to be at that game. So they're not looking for they're not paying attention. If you know Taylor Swift is going to be in your city, say she's coming to Nashville for a concert. You might be on the lookout for the few days looking around, trying to see if she's around.
Lunchbox
Yeah. But also she's in America. I feel like she's not flying until the day of. I don't think Taylor Swift is one of these. Where she travels, sleeps in the city, spends the day in the city. I think she flies in like an hour before the show and flies out right after the show.
Morgan
I don't know, it's an hour before. But yeah, I don't know that she stays the night here or like any city for that matter.
Lunchbox
So I don't know if she has time to explore like in the United States. But if you're in another country, kind of harder to fly in the day of the concert. I know, like you can't fly to Brazil the day of the concert.
Morgan
But this was my thought process. You have these people, you have. Well, there's artists or athletes and people are going to these cool places.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Morgan
And you would think, oh, it's so cool they get to go and see all of this, but they really don't. You have the money and you're going, but you're not actually exploring. I don't know.
Lunchbox
But they could always go back. If they really want to go see that city, they can go back. Like my wife, she used to work for the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. She used to do the marketing for them. And she would travel there once a month and she'd be there for a week. And there were some times she didn't leave the hotel. And I'm like, what do you mean? She goes, I just realized it, but I haven't seen the sunshine in a month. Or not a month. A week. She goes, I've been in the building the entire week. That's crazy.
Morgan
Yeah, but see, it's because she's there for work. When you're working, that's what you're focused on. So it, it was just a wild thought in my mind where I was just like, I would kill to go all these places. And you think it's so cool because traveling's their job, but it's not really traveling for. In the way that you think about traveling.
Lunchbox
Correct. Also, I think when you're traveling that much traveling probably gets tiring.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
It gets annoying. It gets.
Morgan
It's much more exhausting. It's more work related than it is fun.
Lunchbox
It's not there. Oh, let Me, go stand under the Eiffel Tower. Even though you could go stand under the Eiffel Tower. But you could probably go to a museum during the day if you wanted to. I just don't know what these artists like to do. They're probably so exhausted.
Morgan
I know. Well, and athletes, too. I mean, to your point, like, most of them are probably just hanging out at the hotel. They play their game and they leave.
Lunchbox
Yeah. And some of them, you know, I mean. Yes. Do they like to go to clubs every once in a while? Go to clubs? Yes. But for the most part, in business.
Morgan
Yeah. You know, I. I really can't stop thinking about the fact that I wish I would have studied abroad in college. That's the one thing I wish I would have done and just taken a semester and been somewhere else. I was. I freaking was studying French. I could have. I could have gone to France for a semester.
Lunchbox
You rich rich.
Morgan
Well, you could do study abroad programs. Those.
Lunchbox
No, no, that's rich rich. Right?
Morgan
I mean, I don't know. I never did it. I never looked into it, so I don't know.
Lunchbox
I never did it either. Didn't even know it existed. Like, I didn't know anything about that. Like, never.
Morgan
Yeah, I don't know that I. I think I knew it existed, but I think in my mind I was like, that's scary. Going to live in another country for a month. I wasn't. I was always adventurous. But my adventure side really came out. Like, when I moved to Nashville and I did that whole process. That's when, like, the. The side of me got more curious and more explorative, I guess.
Lunchbox
Yeah. When we were in. When we went on our trip to London and everything and hit up a little bit of Scotty, we met up with my wife's sister who had met up with her friend who lived in London that she met in study abroad.
Morgan
See, that's so cool.
Lunchbox
They. Well, no, no, this is. What's crazy is the girl was from London and she was studying somewhere, I don't know, and she decided to study abroad in America, and she picked the University of North Carolina. And my wife's sister, you know, signed up to be a friend of an international student, and this was her friend. And so they stayed in touch since college.
Morgan
That's.
Lunchbox
And they go see each other and they travel, and it's just wild.
Morgan
I love that. See, we also had foreign exchange students. Like, I dated one of her foreign exchange students. He's from Germany.
Lunchbox
Of course you did. He didn't even speak Your language.
Morgan
He was on the.
Lunchbox
Oh, we will.
Morgan
He spoke English. They had to. When they. You can't travel abroad. That's, like, why I say, like, I was studying French in college. I could have gone to France because my French was good then.
Lunchbox
Yeah, well, you could have gone to England because you speak English.
Morgan
Yeah. Go to those.
Lunchbox
But, like, you could go to. Do they. No. They probably speak Swedish. Huh?
Morgan
Oh, yeah. But also, most foreign countries, they speak multiple languages. We're the only ones who only speak one language.
Lunchbox
That's how we roll. Because we don't go. I mean, we're so by ourselves that there's no other languages.
Morgan
No, well, it's more that they teach. Foreign schools teach multiple languages from when they're young through like, their entire collegiate career versus ours is like, I feel like you start Spanish and French, you.
Lunchbox
Start to even learn in, like, sixth grade.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Yeah. Well, they do it in elementary school now because my kids, they go to Spanish class.
Morgan
Really? I love that. See, I feel like you can. I think being fluent in multiple languages is such a cool skill to have now.
Lunchbox
I don't know if they're learning. I literally don't know what they. I mean, we don't. Like, he doesn't have. They don't have homework, so I'm like, I don't know what they're.
Morgan
Well, and it's hard to learn the language when you're not speaking it. So if you're not going places that speaks it, it's hard to keep up with it.
Lunchbox
Correct. Like, some of our neighbors, they're supposed to go to our school, but they go to a school all the way across town because it's a Spanish immersion school. Is that how you say it?
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Where they speak Spanish, I think, all day.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
That's wild to me.
Morgan
That's how you, like, fully learn a language. That's why a lot of people study abroad when there's Spanish. Studying a language is just so they can fully keep it. Yeah.
Lunchbox
I mean, I remember learning Spanish when I was in school, and I was like, man, I'm gonna use this. I'm gonna study him.
Morgan
Oh, yeah. Trust me. I almost. I almost had a minor in French, and I should have. I would have stayed, like, if I stayed the full term, that I would have my senior year, then I could have had it. But my whole thought process was like, oh, I'm a journalism student and I can have dual languages.
Lunchbox
Yeah, you can go study. You can go cover the war in France.
Morgan
English in France. Like, well, and you can go to Canada. And a lot of them speak.
Lunchbox
I forgot about Canada.
Morgan
So I had this whole thought process. Never got the minor. I lost it, like, two years after college. It's all gone. But read it. Like, when we were in Paris, you can read French. There was a lot of words that I picked up on, but. And I would pick up on things in conversations, but the whole thing. No, in French. People speak so. So fast. I think Spanish do, too, so it's, like, hard to fully, like, translate. But yeah, I mean, that's how we got around the subway.
Lunchbox
Huh.
Morgan
Is that words?
Lunchbox
Yeah, that's pretty good. See, I can. I mean, I guess maybe a little bit of Spanish, but. La babe esta dormida. That means the baby is sleeping.
Morgan
I knew it was. The baby is.
Lunchbox
I didn't know that because I was at a quinceanera when I was in college. Gabby and Gigi, they were from McAllen. Their little sister was turning 15. I went down to the quinceanera with them, and I don't know why, but we were at a. Like, a family get together, and someone said that. And I was like, what? And they're like, that means the baby is sleeping. Like, you'll never remember that. And I was like, okay. So then I put it on lock, and I was like, I'm gonna remember that for the rest of my life. And that's the only thing I remember.
Morgan
And now that's. Well, you probably also know. Hola.
Lunchbox
Hola. Como estas? Estoy muy bienni as muy guapo.
Morgan
It feels weird listening to you speak Spanish for some reason.
Lunchbox
Miyamo Lunchbox.
Morgan
That also. See, like, that's.
Lunchbox
My name is Lunchbox.
Morgan
I know that's your name. But in.
Lunchbox
No, no, but that's what that sentence was.
Morgan
I know what that was. I know what you're trying to say.
Lunchbox
Got it.
Morgan
But in French class, they made us have French names because saying, like, comme sava. Or like, when you would say, like, Jean, m' appelle Morgan, it sounds appell.
Lunchbox
Is that your name?
Morgan
Appel is. My name is. But Je mapel Morgan doesn't really roll off, so my French name was Je m' appelle Isabel because it would roll off more. That's.
Lunchbox
So you changed your name.
Morgan
Everybody had French names.
Lunchbox
That's weird, because then if you met someone in that class, you wouldn't know their real name.
Morgan
Nope. You had to use their French name because it was part of the language.
Lunchbox
Yeah, but, like, what if you want to hook up or go on a date and you're like, hey, Billy.
Morgan
It was mostly women in my French classes.
Lunchbox
Got it. Didn't know that. Well, what if you want to date?
Morgan
Fair. But still, I mean, you would outside of class probably say your real name. But.
Lunchbox
But how would. I mean, that's what I'm saying. Like, if you ran into them, like, at the. At a bar and be like, oh, my gosh, you're Samantha. No, no, no, that's not my name.
Morgan
We would still use our French names. That was just how you knew each other. And, I mean, I took five or six classes, and it was. Most of us were the same people in there because it wasn't like a major, you know, group of a class that was studying French. So that's pretty funny. But, yeah, they had us do that because it was rolling better. Instead of trying to be like, Jean m' Appel, Morgan is like, jim Appell Isabel.
Lunchbox
See, because we did that. Like, this is the stupidest example. But, like, right before your freshman year college, you have the little, like, freshman camp or whatever. And I went. And my group leader is like, oh. We start talking about names, and someone introduced themselves, and they're like, that's your name. Oh, I thought you looked like Denise. And she was like, that's my sister's name. And then so our leader was like, oh, we should all come up with what names someone looks like you think they look like. So then when you started college, you'd see them, and I had no idea their names.
Morgan
So you're like, you looked like this. And that's what.
Lunchbox
I know this Denise. Well, I think her name was Danielle, but her name. I couldn't get Denise out of my head. Couldn't get it out of my freaking head.
Morgan
Yeah, you're really good at remembering names, too, but once it's in there, oh, my gosh.
Lunchbox
And so I had the fake name the whole time, and I was just like. I would see him on campus, and I'd just be like, man, I know that's not their name. So I might just. So weird. And then what's funny is when UTSA shout out Roadrunners had their first football game ever, I went and I ran into Denise, AKA I think Danielle is her real name, but I ran into her.
Morgan
Double Ds. Is also hard because I get. They're both D names.
Lunchbox
Yeah. And I was like, oh, my gosh, Denise, you know, and she's like, was she laughing? She laughed. And I was like, I still can't get it out of my head. And I still. And I think her name's Danielle. But then, yeah, whatever. And said, hi. Oh, we'll keep in touch. And. Yeah.
Morgan
Wait, so what do you think I look like for a name?
Lunchbox
Morgan.
Morgan
Okay, but.
Lunchbox
No, no, no.
Morgan
I know, but you have.
Lunchbox
No, no, no, no. This is the stupidest. This is the stupidest thing ever.
Morgan
You know what you look like to me? No, Steve.
Lunchbox
That's so dumb.
Morgan
I think I'm gonna call you Steve.
Lunchbox
There is nobody that looks like. They don't look like a name. The name they look.
Morgan
You know what I'm rolling with.
Lunchbox
Wasn't my idea to say you look like something. It was someone else in the group, and I was like, no, no. It's like, people. This is the one that drives me nuts. Oh, so we're having a baby. Yeah. You got names? No, we don't have a name picked out. We're just gonna. We're gonna wait till it's born to see what it. You know, what name it looks like. No, your baby doesn't look.
Morgan
Feel that is associated.
Lunchbox
Your baby doesn't look like a name. Your baby looks like an alien, and then you name it, and that's what they look like.
Morgan
I don't disagree that Bab. Aliens. But, Nate, there are a feeling associated that's different than, like, you. You. Me sitting here. I'm like, you look like a Steve.
Lunchbox
Then like a baby Steve look like. Okay, you look like a. You look like a Barbara. Like, what? What does that mean?
Morgan
I don't know. It's funny. It's just more funny than anything, honestly. It doesn't have to mean anything. It can just be funny because, I mean, there are. And I'm now calling you Steve.
Lunchbox
I've met so many Steves in my life, and a lot they don't look the same.
Morgan
Okay, we're gonna take a break and then let Lunchbox continue on his tangent. Cause I think we're gonna be here for a minute. Hi, I'm Jenica Lopez, and in the new season of the Overcomer podcast, I'm taking you on an exciting journey of self reflection. Am I ready to enter this new part of my life? Yeah.
Lunchbox
But the whole pretending and coat, you know, it takes a toll on.
Morgan

I had this like overwhelming sensation that I had to call her right then and I just hit call, said, you know, hey, I'm Jacob Schick. I'm the CEO of One Tribe foundation. And I just wanted to go on and let her know there's a lot of people battling some of the very same things you're battling. And there is help out out there. The good stuff. Podcast season two takes a deep look into One Tribe Foundation, a non profit fighting suicide in the veteran community. Lunchbox
There's a lot of love that flows through this place and it's sincere now.
Morgan
It's a personal mission. Don't have to go to any more funerals.
Lunchbox
You know, I got blown up on a react mission. I ended up having amputation below the knee of my right leg and a traumatic brain injury because I landed on my head.
Morgan
Welcome to season two of the Good Stuff.

Morgan
Today we have a very special guest with us.
Lunchbox
Our new super secret bestie is the diva of the people. The diva of the people. I'm just like texturex. My theory is that if you need to figure out that the stove is hot, go and touch it. Go and figure it out for yourself.
Morgan
Okay, that's us. What the heck?
Lunchbox
That's us. My name is Curly.
Morgan
And I'm Maya.
Lunchbox
In each episode, we'll talk about love, friendship, heartbreaks, men, and of course, our favorite secrets.
Morgan
Listen to the Super Secret Bestie Club as a part of the Microtura Podcast network, available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I'm Dr. Joy Hardin Bradford, and in session 421 of Therapy for Black Girls, I sit down with Dr. Afia and Billy Shaka to explore how our hair connects to our identity, mental health, and the ways we heal. Because I think hair is a complex language system, right? In terms of it can tell how old you are, your marital status, where you're from, your spiritual beliefs. But I think with social media, there's like a hyper fixation and observation of our hair, right. That this is sometimes the first thing someone sees when we make a post or a reel is how our hair is styled. We talk about the important role hairstylists play in our communities, the pressure to always look put together, and how breaking up with perfection can actually free us. Plus, if you're someone who gets anxious about flying, don't miss session 418 with Dr. Angela Neal Barnett, where we dive into managing flight anxiety. Listen to therapy for black Girls on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. But you don't look like every other Steve that I know.
Lunchbox
Exactly. So how can I look like a Steve if that is so many different people's names nobody looks like.
Morgan
I was just going with a feeling.
Lunchbox
I Know. Okay, you feel like I should be a Steve. I don't look like a Steve?
Morgan
Yeah. Okay, then maybe that's what I say. But I feel like that's what happens with babies is like. I feel like this baby is a.
Lunchbox
Like, does Rey look like a Ray?
Morgan
No, Ray looks like a Chris to me.
Lunchbox
See, this is what drives me. That's so dumb. It's so dumb.
Morgan
But it's fun, though.
Lunchbox
Like, it's like.
Morgan
It's fun to associate. Like, just associate me with a different name. Like, be like. You feel like a. You can't do it.
Lunchbox
Well, I mean, Morgan, it's just a feeling.
Morgan
It's like I don't have any other.
Lunchbox
What is one of your sister's names?
Morgan
Oh, you can't use one of my sister's names. It's a feeling.
Lunchbox
I don't have a feeling. I feel like you are a Morgan because I met you as Morgan. Like, if you went to the DMV today and changed your name to Veronica, guess what? Okay. You're Veronica. I mean, the fact that people think they look like a name is the stupidest, stupidest thing ever. Like Chris Rock. Does he look like a Chris? Does Carrie Underwood look like a Carrie?
Morgan
Yeah. Yeah. She gives me Carrie vibes.
Lunchbox
Yeah, because her name's Carrie. That's why. It's that Luke Bryan. Guess what he gives me.
Morgan
I didn't know this was going to be such a strong.
Lunchbox
He gives me Luke Bryan buys because his name is Luke. Even though that's not really his real name, right?
Morgan
Yeah. No, it isn't. But, you know, he gives Luke vibes. He thought so. So that he renamed himself.
Lunchbox
I mean, Luke Combs. He looks like a Luke.
Morgan
You're not wrong. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I do think there's a feeling sometimes with the name where you're just like. I just get a vibe that you are a little different. And that's what I think happens with babies is like, they came out and I was like, oh, this is not an Andrew. This is a Tom.
Lunchbox
I don't know how you can tell that in the. In the five seconds you see them out of the womb when they look like an alien.
Morgan
If you think I'm never going to question a mother's intuition. They have.
Lunchbox
I will.
Morgan
Mom's intuition. Dads have intuition, too. I feel like you have this, like, crazy innate thing that happens when a child is part of your life now. And. And just certain things are different and I think that's part of it.
Lunchbox
Yeah. Like you have to name them. And you go off a feeling like, oh, I met him and I think it's Charles to me. Charles spoke to me.
Morgan
Okay, I didn't say speak to. I just said like a vibe.
Lunchbox
Like same thing. Speaking, vibe. Whatever. I don't care. My name's Bennett. I'm not in it. You're.
Morgan
Okay, so you're a Bennett now? I'm still calling you Steve. It's not my new name for you, okay?
Lunchbox
What? That's so stupid.
Morgan
You don't look like a lunchbox.
Lunchbox
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Did you drink last night? I swear. I swear. You might be drunk.
Morgan
I went to bed really early. I'm very well rested. Talk to me about life. What's going on with you right now?
Lunchbox
What's going on with life right now? Let's see, man, we started soccer.
Morgan
Are you coaching?
Lunchbox
Well, I don't really know what I'm doing.
Morgan
Did you get kicked out?
Lunchbox
No.
Morgan
Weren't the last time you were on your.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I don't. I don't really understand the league we're in. I don't really understand it.
Morgan
Wait, you're telling me that you got kicked out of your captain for your coed team and now you got kicked out of.
Lunchbox
Oh, no, no, no. I'm still on my co Ed team. I'm still on my co Ed.
Morgan
But you're not the captain anymore.
Lunchbox
Okay, that's fine. But I don't really understand what's going on my kids league because you can practice Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night. It doesn't matter.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
And so even if you're on the same team, you don't have to practice on the same night as your teammates.
Morgan
Oh, so you just practice with anybody who's in the league?
Lunchbox
Yes.
Morgan
You don't practice with your team?
Lunchbox
Correct.
Morgan
How old are they?
Lunchbox
Seven. Five and three.
Morgan
And they're all playing?
Lunchbox
Yes.
Morgan
I guess it would make sense for the five and three year olds just because it doesn't really matter.
Lunchbox
I don't know. I mean, maybe the three year old, but like I feel like you at some. I don't know. So I don't really understand.
Morgan
And the practice is obviously where you're a coach.
Lunchbox
Well, that's where you would. Yes, but the person that runs the league is the one that runs the practices. But then on game days I'm the coach, but half the team I don't even know. Like I don't see them except for game day. And they're like, who's this guy telling us to do what? So it's a little strange. I'm. It's our first season in this league. I don't really understand how I'm. You know, I'm just. It's. We've only had. We'll have our second game today, and so it's a little confusing.
Morgan
I feel like you're gonna have lots of thoughts and emotions during this whole experience. If I had to, yes.
Lunchbox
Like, it's just different. Like, I've never heard of just practice was random people.
Morgan
Yeah. I don't know.
Lunchbox
I mean, like, just imagine if you played your. Your softball team.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
You know what I mean? You're like, you know what? Oh, Morgan, Samantha, Brianna and Caroline, they can. They practice on Monday nights where the other four people practice on Tuesday nights, and then three of them practice on Wednesday nights. What?
Morgan
Yeah. And I can't. Well, I can't really remember, really. Honestly. Eight years old and younger, so it's hard for me to tell. But I feel like, at least from what I remember of all of my sports, we always practice with our team, and then we'd play the game, obviously with our teams. I don't remember any other way.
Lunchbox
Yeah. And this league still doesn't keep standings.
Morgan
Or score, so maybe that's why they don't quite.
Lunchbox
But. Yeah, but I need. I need to. I still can't. I got to find a soccer league that keeps score. Like, it's. They're. They're old enough where they can win and lose.
Morgan
Well, your oldest.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I mean, five year olds can win and lose.
Morgan
That's true, too.
Lunchbox
Three year olds can win and lose.
Morgan
You want them all? Doesn't matter.
Lunchbox
I just. I just would like to keep standings. Like, I want, you know, I want you to be in second place and you're to be able to point at the standings, be like, guys, you go out and beat this team right here, you move to the top of that leaderboard, you move into first place.
Morgan
Oh, so you can give your motivational speeches when you don't know where you stand.
Lunchbox
Well, no, but I also want, like, competition. I want the kids to feel it too. And if they're in last place, then I wouldn't be coaching because that's embarrassing. But what I'm saying is I want. You know what I mean? Like, you want them to have that, and I don't understand.
Morgan
Yeah, that's a weird way to have a league. But this is a new league, so.
Lunchbox
It'S like my Little League, my Little League baseball. Like, I mean, they had the umpires Room where they had the umpires get dressed and on the wall they had the standings of every team. And you'd look at it and then when you'd win, you'd see it move up, move down. It was awesome.
Morgan
I do think it's more fun for kids that way because that's what I mean. When you aren't keeping score and it's kind of lackadaisical, they don't really care. You kind of have to give them something to care about.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Morgan
But I don't know at what age they really like they care that matters. I don't know.
Lunchbox
They care.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
They start knowing. I mean five years old they start saying we scored this many goals. They count, you know, they start to pay attention to that.
Morgan
And when do they start? I guess I only have reference related to softball because I never played soccer. But when they start like T ball.
Lunchbox
T ball is for usually 4 and 5 year olds.
Morgan
I feel like it's when you go to slow pitch is when I think we started actually keeping track of score.
Lunchbox
Yeah, we did coach pitch last year. So we did one year T ball and then we did coach pitch last year and I did move up my, my five year old. He probably could have, he could have played T ball again. But I was like, man, do I really need to put it. That's two separate teams, two separate practices, two separate games. So I put him on coach pitch.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Of course my father in law is like, oh, I think you did him an injustice. I think, you know, he's really going to struggle and you know, because he's the youngest by far on team. Youngest. That dude dominated.
Morgan
Really?
Lunchbox
Yeah. I mean it great. Like, I mean you get five pitches and after five pitches, if you don't hit it, you hit off the tee. Yeah, he only had to use a tee twice the whole season.
Morgan
Oh, he was doing great.
Lunchbox
Yeah. That's what I'm saying.
Morgan
Like maybe he's going to be a little baseball player now because of that Made him move up a little bit quicker.
Lunchbox
Well, I, yeah, I just felt like, okay, like T ball, he. He got the gist of it. He understands you run the bases, you get the ball, you throw it. But that's basically what you learn in T ball. It's not like you're getting coach.
Morgan
Pitchers still kind of learning. Yeah.
Lunchbox
Yes. Still not like 100%, but at least, you know what I mean. They're seeing a ball fly in them and learning how to hit it.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Like that is to me important. And they did great. And he did great. And I mean, I just want soccer to keep score. That's all I want. That's all I'm asking.
Morgan
Little competitive edge.
Lunchbox
Ah, yeah. I mean, I. And that's the thing. I'm competitive.
Morgan
How is your dog Chase doing?
Lunchbox
Oh, Chase is dominating.
Morgan
Yeah, he.
Lunchbox
Well, let me preface this by saying he was nipping. Like, the kids, like, first couple. Like, first month or so, he was nipping, and the kids were getting scared of him and scared to go outside with him. Like, in the beginning, he was all great, but then once he started getting more comfortable. Nip, nip, nip, nip.
Morgan
Like play nipping.
Lunchbox
Yes, but the kids screaming bloody murder. So I was like, all right. So we went to training or whatever, and that was a disaster. The trainer. Trainer was great.
Morgan
Did you do training with him or did you send him off?
Lunchbox
No, with him.
Morgan
Oh, yeah, with him.
Lunchbox
Here's the problem. We did in the summer, so the kids are around. They want to interrupt. They want to try it, and so did we actually put it, like, all the tools that the person taught us, did we put them into effect? No, no, we didn't. We just. It was so hard. It's so busy during the summer with kids everywhere and trying to get a quiet moment to do the training. Not good. Okay.
Morgan
You might have to do a rewind.
Lunchbox
No, I mean, if we can just start doing it now, it would be great. Like, I mean, he's great on a leash. Like, we've got him on a leash. He knows how to do that. All that. That' great. It's. He likes to jump up on the counter.
Morgan
On the counter.
Lunchbox
Well, like, you know, get the food. Like, he likes to put his paws up. So we got to teach him not to do that. And so what he told us is good.
Morgan
How many things has he eaten?
Lunchbox
I mean, he gets bites of this, bites of that. You know, nothing. He's not eating a big thing of anything. Yeah, but he. He's great. Like, I mean, he's so fun. Like, he loves dogs. He loves every other dog he sees, he wants to play with. I mean, we're on a walk and he sees a dog and he just starts. And I'm like, dude, relax. You can't play with every freaking dog. We don't have time to do that.
Morgan
Have you taken him to dog parks yet?
Lunchbox
Yeah, we take. Oh, man. We take him to the dog park. Took him to a bar. That is a dog bar.
Morgan
Oh, yeah, we talked about that.
Lunchbox
Yeah, it's a cover charge for dogs, but it's no cover. Charge for the adults.
Morgan
Yeah. Urban dog bar, I think.
Lunchbox
Yeah. And it is fantastic. It is really a cool place. Like, it's like.
Morgan
Yeah, the adults can. Or the humans can get drinks. I think you. I don't think you can get food.
Lunchbox
But you get drinks and food. And the food's not bad.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
Like, it's like bar food. But it's, like, good. Like, it doesn't. It's not.
Morgan
And it's a little area, basically a dog park for the dogs to play in.
Lunchbox
Yeah, it's huge. It's got swimming pools, it's got sprinklers. It's got everything. And it's just. You can run around the dog and there's a hundred dogs everywhere. And sometimes we'll go, like, just for lunch, just to, like, get out and let them run and, you know, hang out, or my wife will go, like, and take the kid. Well, this was during the summer. They. They go have breakfast, then they'd go over there and let the dog, you know, just sort of run around. So it's great. It's fantastic. Really cool place. He gets along with all dogs. Like, he loves dogs.
Morgan
Yeah, that's.
Lunchbox
Loves them.
Morgan
So, I mean, he's also just a puppy still.
Lunchbox
Yeah, he's only. What month are we in? September. So he's 10 months.
Morgan
Yeah. But I feel like that puppy stage really doesn't go away until they're after, like, two years old.
Lunchbox
After two years old. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Morgan
That time period.
Lunchbox
But the good news is, is he potty trained, though? Oh, yeah, he's probably trained. He was potty trained. We got him.
Morgan
Yeah, that's the hard part. Honestly. With puppies.
Lunchbox
Oh, gosh. I told myself I'd never get a puppy.
Morgan
Yeah. And you guys did. I mean, he was a couple months old, right?
Lunchbox
He was seven months old.
Morgan
Yeah. So it wasn't a full puppy, but you still had puppy. Ish.
Lunchbox
Yeah, but he's getting a little thick. You know, he's gained about eight pounds since we got him.
Morgan
You know, eight pounds or good eight.
Lunchbox
Pounds, you know, like. But he likes to zoom, like. And his favorite toy, let me tell you, is the rubber Frisbee. I always was confused because all my other dogs, I'd get a Frisbee and I'd throw it for him, and I didn't give two craps about it. And we were at the dog store picking out all the dog stuff. And my youngest, baby box three, was like, dad, he really wants this. He really wants this. And it's like a rubber Frisbee Okay. And I'm like, whatever put in the basket, you know? I mean, none of. He's not gonna like any of these toys. That freaking rubber Frisbee. He loves it. And so I think that's the problem, is the plastic one doesn't feel as good. The rubber one is what dogs like, maybe. And I'm like, ah. That's why all these years, the dogs didn't like the Frisbee.
Morgan
Well, and some dogs just don't like to play Frisbee.
Lunchbox
Right. But also, I'm gonna blame it on the plastic Frisbee. And we should have got rubber this whole time. That's what I'm gonna go with.
Morgan
Yeah, it's probably true. Rubber's fun for them to chew on.
Lunchbox
Yes.
Morgan
So.
Lunchbox
So he loves that. He loves chasing a ball. He loves it when you chase him. Like, he'll get it in his mouth and he's gonna bring it back to you.
Morgan
This is why his name's Chase.
Lunchbox
Yes, Correct. And then he just runs zoom, zoom, zooms. He gets the. What we call the Zoomies.
Morgan
Yep. Everybody calls their Zoomies.
Lunchbox
Do they?
Morgan
Yes, this is a very known thing.
Lunchbox
Oh, didn't know that.
Morgan
Did you think you just.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I thought I came up with that.
Morgan
Really?
Lunchbox
I. Did.
Morgan
Everybody call Zoomies?
Lunchbox
No, because I'm like, look at him zooming around. And I was like, hey, boys, he's got the Zoomies. Oh, yeah, he's got the Zoomies.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Every time he gets on the dog, they yell, dad, dad. He's got the Zoomies. And sometimes he gets going so fast and he tries to stop, he freaking somersaults.
Morgan
That's funny. Yeah, he's moving fast.
Lunchbox
Yeah, he. I mean, he's got wheels.
Morgan
I cannot believe you came up. You thought you came up with Zoomies. Okay, we're gonna take a quick break. We're coming right back. Speaking of dogs getting Zoomies, we have installed a screened in deck. And my cat has now officially taken over the back porch. She rips the screen. No, no, she won't. She won't touch him. I don't let her be out there by herself, because I bet she would. But I'll look at Remy. I say, hey, it's time to go outside. Let's go potty. And as soon as I say outside, Hazel comes running to the door like she is like a dog ready to go outside. Every single time, she will scratch at the back door trying to go outside. Like she is obsessed with sitting out on this thing.
Lunchbox
That's cool.
Morgan
And I have Never seen a cat just be so excited to just hang out outside. And she's so happy.
Lunchbox
That's so interesting, because Chase doesn't want to come in. Like, you have to chase him around the backyard to get him to come in the house.
Morgan
Isn't it funny? But then, as they get older, I feel like, like, with Remy, she doesn't want to be outside near as much now. Like, she'll hang out for a little bit. And Hazel's her that say they're both the same age are roughly 10.
Lunchbox
Hazel's 10. Oh, you must have got old, cat.
Morgan
I did. She was 8. I didn't realize when I got her. Okay, so we've only, like, had her for, like, two years, but the. Their age is about the same. But what's crazy is Remy used to love, like. And sometimes she will. She loves to bake in the sun. Like, she'll. To spot a sun and just bake.
Lunchbox
Chase bakes.
Morgan
Like, they love that the little sunspot is the only place in the yard. But then, like, other times, she'll never want to be outside unless you're out there with her.
Lunchbox
That's interesting. Yeah. Chase, like, he goes and he'll sit in. Hide in the bushes for an hour.
Morgan
He's like, don't find me.
Lunchbox
He's like, all right, I'm gonna go lay in the bushes, and you guys can't get me. And it's, like, unbelievable how much. And I think that's just because he lived on the streets. He was. He was a street dog. And I was like, dude, we got to change your life. You got to turn your life around. Get off the streets, you know, go back to school, things like that. Yeah. And he just does not. It's crazy. Crazy. But the boys want him to sleep in our room so bad that sometimes they'll, like. They'll close them in the room. Like, they'll lock. They'll close the door. They'll tell us, all right, dad, you gotta leave. And then we're gonna stay with, like. And they're like, we'll lay down here with the dog until you leave. That way he stays in here, and then they fall asleep on the floor with the dog. With a dog.
Morgan
This is funny.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Morgan
Was the goal to have Chase, like, sleep in the living room or something? Like, not sleep?
Lunchbox
No, no, I think it was. I just wanted. Whatever. I don't care.
Morgan
Or, like, sleep with you guys or something?
Lunchbox
Hey, I would love for him to sleep with the boys. That's what it's about.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
To me, That's.
Morgan
I mean, they're not sleeping on the bed?
Lunchbox
No, the dog doesn't sleep on the bed. But they don't sleep on the floor every night. But some nights they'll be like, dad, we're gonna lay down here. That way he doesn't leave. And then when you leave the room, we'll get up in our beds and I'll walk in there in the. You know, later that night before I go to bed, and they're just passed out on the floor.
Morgan
It's Chase with them passed out on the floor.
Lunchbox
Oh, yeah.
Morgan
Okay. So Chase isn't, like, getting up halfway and being like, bye.
Lunchbox
No, no, no. Chase is there with them. I mean, that's.
Morgan
I mean, you know, sometimes. Because for some reason, Hazel won't come up in my bed and sleep with me. I think it's because Remy's scared her off a few times. But sometimes Hazel will sleep with me on the couch, and sometimes I will fall asleep on the couch with her because I want to sleep with her. So I get. Oh, my gosh, they're all on the floor. Lunchbox showed me a picture. It's like a slumber party. Okay, so do they all share a room?
Lunchbox
I'll share a room.
Morgan
So they're all in that room anyways. I don't know if they were, like, all in one room.
Lunchbox
All in one room. No, that'd be a fight. Every night. No, Chase gets to sleep with me. No, Chase gets to sleep with me. Oh, no, no.
Morgan
Slumber party every single night.
Lunchbox
I hate you more. No, I hate you more. Yeah, they have a slumber party every night.
Morgan
That's so much.
Lunchbox
Every freaking night. Which is good some nights and bad some others.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
But for the most part, they do a good job of just going to sleep. Like, it's just every once in a while, they'll be making noise. Guys, quiet down. And if it's not a school night, just go ahead, man. You guys just. Do you like. There's one night we got back from the NSC National Soccer Club game, and it was like 10:30. They get in the room, and, I mean, you just hear them giggling and laughing and giggling and laughing. I mean, it's 12:15, and I went to bed, and they were still in there giggling and goofing off.
Morgan
They're gonna remember that so much as part of their childhood, of the sleepovers they had with their brothers.
Lunchbox
I was like, man, I went to bed before they did. I was too tired. I was like, I gotta get up for Best bits in the Morning.
Morgan
Oh, yeah. Okay. That's exactly what happened. But I want to hear, too. Have you talked about your London trips in of spite?
Lunchbox
I did that on Sore Losers and it was great, man. I gave you a whole recap.
Morgan
But did you talk about it at all on Best Bits? I can't remember.
Lunchbox
Oh, I'm Best Bits. No.
Morgan
You haven't been on since that trip, right?
Lunchbox
No.
Morgan
What was your highlights from the trip?
Lunchbox
Scotland.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
London sucks. I just don't understand.
Morgan
You eat a lot of fish and chips.
Lunchbox
I did.
Morgan
Did you like fish and chips?
Lunchbox
It was good. It's fine. I mean, I do wonder if they're.
Morgan
All the same, like all the different places that serve fish and.
Lunchbox
Yes, because it's like, oh, this is the best fish and chips. And I'm like, it's fried fish. Does it taste that much different?
Morgan
I didn't think batter matters. So did you have one that stood out above the rest? No, they all tasted the same.
Lunchbox
Well, I mean, they tasted similar. You know what I mean? It's not like I was like, oh, my gosh. It was like, okay, fish and chips. Good over here. Okay, fish and chips.
Morgan
And why was Ireland your favorite?
Lunchbox
Because I didn't go there. I went to Scotland.
Morgan
I have Ireland in my mind. From K. State.
Lunchbox
Scotland. Scotland was just beautiful. Beautiful. Everything was just. Everything's old now. I understand that. Yes. You know, London got bombed and all that during the war, all that. So they had to build new buildings, but everything in Scotland was old. And it was so cool. It was beautiful. The people were super nice. And we went into Edinburgh.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
They say Edinburgh.
Morgan
I definitely thought it was Edin. Edinburgh. Edinburgh.
Lunchbox
I don't know. Yeah. Anyway, I, I. Anyway, it was really cool, though. The cool thing was we could take a train from London to freaking Scotland. See, that's no problem.
Morgan
How far was that train ride?
Lunchbox
Like three and a half hours. Three hours.
Morgan
Oh, that's nothing.
Lunchbox
It was great.
Morgan
That is the coolest part to me about Europe in general is that you can get everywhere by train.
Lunchbox
Everywhere.
Morgan
And even the flight going everywhere, man.
Lunchbox
I'm going everywhere in that song.
Morgan
Yes, it is something like that. Yeah. You got it.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Morgan
But the train rides are epic because you can just see so much of the country and it's short train ride.
Lunchbox
Yeah. Can I, can I tell you this one thing about the train, though?
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
I thought it was going to be awesome where you could just see everything, but the train's going so fast. It's like, oh, man. Like you see it for like half a second.
Morgan
It is hard to watch if you're on an actual train that's trying to get you somewhere versus, like, a scenic.
Lunchbox
Correct. I mean, the whole fantasy in my head of I'm gonna see the, like, English countryside as we're going to Scotland. I mean, it's fine. But it was just like, whoa, that's fast. Whoa. Oh, Another train went right by. Oh, it's kind of. But it's great. And Edinburgh, let me tell you. We went to this thing called tattoo.
Morgan
Okay. You get tattoos?
Lunchbox
Yes.
Morgan
Like, people get tattoos.
Lunchbox
It's a tattoo festival.
Morgan
Did you get a tattoo?
Lunchbox
Oh, yeah.
Morgan
You had a tattoo?
Lunchbox
Yes.
Morgan
You don't have any tattoos.
Lunchbox
I do now.
Morgan
Are you. Are you messing with me?
Lunchbox
Yes.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Morgan
Okay. I could have told you were serious because, like, that's like a once in a lifetime. Like, you're at a tattoo festival. Time to get it.
Lunchbox
Yes. No, no, no. So what it was is they're like, oh, we're gonna go see some bagpipe bands.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
And I'm like, oh, great. An hour and a half of bagpipe bands. How fun can this be? This is going to suck. This is going to suck. And so I was like, all right, let's go. And there was hordes of people pouring into this thing. And I'm like, what in the world? And it's right outside the castle in Edinburgh.
Morgan
Okay. Which is probably really pretty, which is beautiful.
Lunchbox
They got the castle. They got flames coming up from the castle. Like, the little torches on top of the castle. They have grandstands set up right at the entrance of the. You know, like. And I'm like, what in the world is going. I mean, all right, cool. So we go up, sit down, and right at 8 o', clock, they start playing the bagpipes and they come marching out of the castle. And I'm not talking like, 10 bagpipers. I'm not talking, like 20. I'm talking, like hundreds. And they have their formations. They come and they spread out and they do their little thing. I'm like, dang, that was cool.
Morgan
So it's kind of like a marching band, but their version.
Lunchbox
Yes, but it doesn't end there.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
Then bands from all over the world come out. Like, the Swedish people. Swedish band, the Swedish Army. They. They're. They brought their drum crew or core or whatever the heck they're called. Drum line. They were phenomenal. They brought the.
Morgan
So you're telling me you like music? It just so happens that you like foreign music instead of the other music?
Lunchbox
Well, I don't even Know if it's the music as good. But as cool as the situation was, because then, like, the drums were with the bagpipes, and they're marching in between and circling each other and, like, you know, weaving in and out. Then the United States bayonets came out. They didn't play music.
Morgan
They were just throwing their bayonets.
Lunchbox
Yeah. And that was intense. There's people around us, and, I mean, there was times that they were doing stuff like, I guess the captain or lieutenant or whatever would be standing and they would. The guys were standing across from each other and they were just spinning their. Throwing their bayonets in circles, back and forth, back and forth. And the captain starts to walk through the line, and, I mean, the people in the crowd are going, no. Now. No, no, no. Walked right through. Didn't get hit by a bayonet. They're marching and they're throwing the bayonets, like, to the person in front of them in the line, and it's just like, what in the world. And there was just. It was so freaking cool how. I don't know how they did it, because they had hundreds of people weaving in and out of each other, and they weren't running into each other.
Morgan
Well, they practiced.
Lunchbox
No, no, no. They're all from different countries, so how do they practice?
Morgan
They would still get together and practice before that.
Lunchbox
So you're telling me the Ukraine army got together with the Swedish army and they practiced their marching for this? I don't think so.
Morgan
Guaranteed. I'm sure they had their routines ahead of time where they were already practicing. But then they had rehearsals.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I mean, I thought it was just going to be a couple small bagpipes from the local high school. Okay. That's what I thought it was going to be.
Morgan
Got a whole worldwide show.
Lunchbox
And then they had a guy playing. They had some people playing the trumpets up there on top of the castle. Like, just the whole ambiance. That's it.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Was really cool.
Morgan
That is cool.
Lunchbox
Really cool.
Morgan
Look at you. You like a little bit of music.
Lunchbox
It wasn't even the music.
Morgan
The whole experience. The whole experience, it involved music.
Lunchbox
But can I tell you this? And then I'm going to tell you another crazy thing.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Morgan
Did you. Wait. Did you wear a kil while you were there?
Lunchbox
No. Another thing I found crazy. It's crazy is the. The show ends, right? Yeah, the show ends.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
And so everybody's coming down the. You got to go down the stands or whatever. There was not one piece of trash left in the stands. It's like, what is going on? Like, I.
Morgan
Very respectful.
Lunchbox
Like, every single person picked up their own trash and they had someone down at the end, like as you exit with a trash bag. And everybody brought their trash down with them. And I was like, guys, this is not how it's done. Usually you just leave it there. You're supposed to leave it there.
Morgan
This is your heaven because you are the trash police.
Lunchbox
Why? I don't like. Well, I don't like it to be thrown away, but usually I get stadiums, they have crews that come in and clean it up.
Morgan
No, this is like.
Lunchbox
And I was like, this.
Morgan
This is what it should be. We should be respectful.
Lunchbox
My mind, when no one was leaving their trash behind, I was like, where are we?
Morgan
Yeah, you're in Scotland. Scottish people are awesome.
Lunchbox
It was crazy.
Morgan
That's so cool. I want to go there. I want to go to both of those places.
Lunchbox
Yeah, Scotland. The people were really nice. They were super friendly. Super friendly.
Morgan
In London, they were. You just really didn't like London, huh?
Lunchbox
Well, I just didn't get London. I just didn't get it. I just guess I didn't get it.
Morgan
Okay, so if I ever go, you may like London.
Lunchbox
You may like London. To me, London was just another big city.
Morgan
That's fair. That's a fair assumption. Did you have decently good food or anything highlighted about London?
Lunchbox
Yeah, I mean. I mean, we went. Well, no, this wasn't a highlight. We went for afternoon tea.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
My goodness.
Morgan
What?
Lunchbox
It's like, I thought we were gonna go have a cup of tea. No, you have to pick out your own pot of tea. Then they bring you, like a little three level thing of food. First level is sandwiches. Second one is, like biscuits. Third one's dessert. It's like, what in the world Did I just walk in?
Morgan
That's high tea.
Lunchbox
No, no, it was called afternoon tea.
Morgan
Oh, okay. Sorry.
Lunchbox
And I didn't know what that meant. I just thought, oh, we're going to have a cup of coffee or a cup of.
Morgan
No, like, tea is a thing over there.
Lunchbox
No, I understand that. That's why I thought we were just going to have a cup of tea. Because everybody gets together for their afternoon cup of tea to talk about how their day was.
Morgan
And you didn't like.
Lunchbox
Oh, no.
Morgan
You didn't like that as a whole experience.
Lunchbox
Oh, my God. It felt pretty over the top.
Morgan
Oh, gotcha. T is. You're not a tea guy.
Lunchbox
Well, it's not that I don't like. Tea's fine.
Morgan
No, like tea, like, what I mean, like.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I didn't know about all the. The whole fanciness of that. I was like, this is weird. Thought we were just gonna have a cup of tea.
Morgan
Okay. So we didn't like anything about London.
Lunchbox
I'm really not really.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
It wasn't that. I just. Maybe I did it wrong. Maybe I didn't understand it, you know? But we did stay at this cool place called, like, the Royal Air Force or Royal Guard. Like, something you had to be a member of the English military or air force to be able to stay there.
Morgan
But you're not exactly. How'd you stay there?
Lunchbox
So one of the kids at my. At elementary school, he. The parents. My wife met the wife, the other wife, and she's married to an English guy who used to be in the English military. So they hooked us up with a room there.
Morgan
That's cool. So friends and family.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I guess that's how it is. They send a recommend, a letter of recommend, or an email saying, hey, we wanted these people to stay here. We recommend them. They're good people, blah, blah, blah. And so we got to stay there. And that was pretty cool because they had a bunch of old pictures of, like, the military and, like, drawings and art, and it's really cool. And they had, like, their own secretive bar there.
Morgan
And.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Morgan
The history in Europe is just above and beyond. Like, it's really cool how. And I don't know about these two places. I haven't been there, but even just going to. To Brussels and Paris and Barcelona, like, the history remains.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Morgan
It hasn't been wiped away. It's still there. They've just, like, added on to it, which is what I think is really cool about Europe in general.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Morgan
Are you crying?
Lunchbox
No.
Morgan
Okay, we're. We're gonna get out of here, and we are gonna answer. Oh, we gotta answer some questions. Yeah. But we're gonna go over and do that. Okay.
Lunchbox
All right. I'll have a. No. Because we got soccer games. We got soccer games. There's no naps for me, man. Don't worry about me.
