I'm Manny. I'm Noah. This is Devin, and we're best friends and journalists with a new podcast called no Such Thing, where we get to the bottom of questions like that. Why are you screaming at me? I can't expect what to do now if the rule was the same, go off on me. I deserve it, you know?

Best bits of the Week with Morgan. It's listener Q and A time where Morgan and a show member answer almost.
Manny
All.
Morgan
We are here in listener Q and A time. Abby is joining me. Hello, Abby. Hello, Stephanie from Wood Dale wanted to shout out you because she loves your singing.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, thank you.
Morgan
Yes. And I'm also gonna look at this because I wanted to make sure there was not any others that came through as we were recording. And I just now remembered that I wanted to do that. So you guys are seeing my brain work. We did answer some questions about the Scuba Steve Abby situation over on part one, if you want to go check that out. Anna says, my favorite best bits. And then also. Yeah, that looks good for right now. I think I have everything else. I like to double check.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah, you never know.
Morgan
Have our boyfriends met? I love you both. You're such beautiful girls. That's from Leah. So kind of starting out with a shout out and a question.
Abby Lee Anderson
No, they haven't. They haven't. I have met yours.
Morgan
And I've met yours, but they haven't met. No.
Abby Lee Anderson
How have we not been? It. It's crazy. I guess there haven't been that many, like, events we've both been at.
Morgan
No, he. So he met you and Scuba Steve that night. That was at the Kane Brown concert?
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes.
Morgan
And then he's met Lunchbox at the softball celebrity game.
Abby Lee Anderson
How'd that go?
Morgan
It was actually fine. Cordial. And I already prepared him. I was like, don't give anything away. Don't say anything about anything because Lunchbox will use it.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah.
Morgan
So just ask him questions.
Abby Lee Anderson
There we go.
Morgan
He did exactly that.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, good.
Morgan
He's learning already.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah.
Morgan
I don't think he's met anybody else yet. That's the extent. But also, we haven't been anywhere. We haven't had any events, work events. We haven't had any concerts besides the game. Brown one.
Abby Lee Anderson
Right.
Morgan
So there wouldn't be really a setting for any of them to have met yet. Unless we purposely do it, which, you know, we spend a lot of time together at work, so that, like, never.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah. And I'm. Yeah, never mind.
Morgan
What were you going to say?
Abby Lee Anderson
Because he lives not really in Nashville. We're a little bit outside of Nashville, so sometimes on weekends, I'm just, like, totally out of the Nashville scene out there in the country kind of sense.
Morgan
You and Ray.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah. Yeah.
Morgan
I want to live in a country house with.
Abby Lee Anderson
A country house with you. Yeah.
Morgan
There it is. Any more races planned for the year? Alyssa in Illinois?
Abby Lee Anderson
Any races?
Morgan
Yeah, I think she needs, like, marathons or running.
Abby Lee Anderson
No, I. I want to. I want to branch out of Nashville because I only do that Nashville half. And I always talk to people and they're like, oh, yeah, there's like so many other ones, so I need to do that. But no, there's not. I haven't really been running because it's so hot. When it's this hot, I cannot run.
Morgan
Do you run inside when it's this hot?
Abby Lee Anderson
I don't really like treadmill running. I can do like two or three miles, but I'm like, I just want to get outside.
Morgan
So, like, summer comes and you just stop all kinda.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah. Exercise and extra. Yeah. Not boxing or anything. I have gym memberships. Don't go. I did run this past weekend.
Morgan
You still have your.
Abby Lee Anderson
No, I canceled it. My title box.
Morgan
I was gonna give you so, so much crap for that. When did you cancel it?
Abby Lee Anderson
Ridiculous. Oh, it was probably like a year later.
Morgan
Abby, listen to Best bits ever. Abby and I went to box together one time and she decided to sign up for a membership that day, which. Fine. That's cool. She never used it.
Abby Lee Anderson
All inclusive, like the unlimited.
Morgan
Yeah, she went for like the top one. Not even just like a month to month.
Abby Lee Anderson
Not.
Morgan
She went balls to the wall and then never used it.
Abby Lee Anderson
So remember, well, like earlier you were talking about how I'm not impulsive. Like, I'm very like, slow burn. I'm like, no, there's stuff that I am just go.
Morgan
You are impulsive about shopping.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes. Yeah, yeah. Spending money. So ridiculous.
Morgan
Spending money. Yes. Which is funny because I did have a question. What is your favorite store to shop at, Lisa in Indiana?
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, my favorite store, the one that I spend most of my time at is Target. Okay, Target, if you will.
Morgan
Do you feel like you spend the most money there too?
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes. You have a red card to have a red card. Oh, yes, of course.
Morgan
You get 5% back.
Abby Lee Anderson
Percent.
Morgan
5% off. 5% off.
Abby Lee Anderson
My problem is, is I have every store I go to the app on my phone. So, like, I just look online. Like, if I'm bored somewhere, I'm in a waiting room. I'll just get on there and see like what sales they have. And I'm like, oh my gosh, I need that send or you know, order and then I go pick it up. It's just so easy. It's so bad.
Morgan
Does your boyfriend know about your shopping problem?
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes, he does.
Morgan
How does he feel about that?
Abby Lee Anderson
He is not a shopper.
Morgan
Well, he's a financial advisor, so that tracks.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes, he is very good with his money. Does stupid things at all. Like never. And it is something that he. That is a problem.
Morgan
And he's trying to work on you with.
Abby Lee Anderson
He's like, it's your money. You can do whatever you want. But, like, why do you need that? You already have, like, five black shirts. Why do you need another one? And I'm like, because it's cute and it's on sale. Yeah, it's. I'm really trying to work on it because it's. It's problematic, so. But I'd say Target. I like to look around to you.
Morgan
Do we have talked about this Also, I'm very proud of you that you at least cancel your membership.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes, but I think that I do that so that I can. I'm like, oh, well, I'm paying all this money. I'll go. And then I don't. And I'm like, you're wasting money.
Morgan
How many times have you done that with something? Have you ever bought a membership or unlimited of something and you actually used it?
Abby Lee Anderson
I don't do it that often. Like, I like Peacock. Like, the streaming services. Okay. I use them hp. Like Max Disney Plus.
Morgan
You use these.
Abby Lee Anderson
Those are all subscription services I use. I got, like, this video editing app on my phone that's like 120amonth. A year. Haven't used it since.
Morgan
Did you cancel it?
Abby Lee Anderson
No.
Morgan
Okay.
Abby Lee Anderson
I just got a notification today. You need to get one of those.
Morgan
Apps where it's like, look at all of my subscriptions or things that I have. Isn't there, like, Rocket money or something? They look at all the things that you buy yearly or monthly or something. You need to do that.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah.
Morgan
And I'd be curious to know what you were all buying that you don't know about.
Abby Lee Anderson
No, you're so right. It's so bad dirt. Like, during COVID even, like, the Y, I had a Y membership, too, and I didn't go for all of COVID Like, a year and a half.
Morgan
Why do you keep buying gym memberships when you don't go?
Abby Lee Anderson
I like it. I don't know.
Morgan
You literally run outside. Why do you buy these?
Abby Lee Anderson
Because I used to love it. Like, I was such a gym rat. Like, I loved it all the time. Like, through high school, college, when I first moved here. And then for some reason, it stopped, and I'm just like, no, get back on that. And I just think if I have a membership, I will.
Morgan
Okay. If you're gonna do that, you gotta do, like, month to month. Abby. Yeah. You gotta stop buying, like, the unlimited. They're like, oh, yeah, give me the year. Because they're small.
Abby Lee Anderson
I have Planet Fitness. Because it's really affordable. And I do go. I do go there.
Morgan
Okay.
Abby Lee Anderson
Because it's super close to home.
Morgan
That's fine. I feel like every time there's a These and.
Abby Lee Anderson
And I'm dating a financial planner, and I still am crazy with money.
Morgan
You're not crazy.
Abby Lee Anderson
But that's the thing, too. Once you get married, that's something that I'm going to have to work on because.
Morgan
Yeah, that's why you're trying to work on it now. So.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes.
Morgan
It's not a problem. Later. It's better late than never. And I'm proud of you for canceling your membership.
Abby Lee Anderson
I should not be left with a credit card. I should just get it taken away. That's.
Morgan
That could be a strategy. If you pay it off completely, and then you're like, okay, no more credit card from. For a few months. So I can just use my debit card. And that's the money that I have.
Abby Lee Anderson
The thing about that is, yeah, I don't overspend. I. I don't ever rack up, like, debt.
Morgan
It's the credit card that gets you in trouble, though.
Abby Lee Anderson
Well, no, I don't with that.
Morgan
But that. You think, oh, well, I can just spend this money, not worry about it. I'll pay it.
Abby Lee Anderson
But like, yeah, I do. Yeah.
Morgan
Invisible money.
Abby Lee Anderson
Correct. Yeah. Yeah. It's easy just to slide that plastic. Yeah. Girl math. Yeah.
Morgan
This is like Confessions of a Shopaholic. That movies. Did you ever see that movie?
Abby Lee Anderson
No.
Morgan
Because you're not much of it. You should watch it. Maybe it'll give you some perspective. Amy Adams, I believe. No, she's the other. She's the redhead that looks like Amy Adams. Hold on, hold on. Confessions of a. Yeah, it was in a 2009 film.
Abby Lee Anderson
Really?
Morgan
Huh. And her name is Isla Fisher.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, okay.
Morgan
Yeah.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, I really. I like her.
Morgan
You should watch it.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, I should.
Morgan
I feel like it'll help you.
Abby Lee Anderson
Maybe it'll be embarrassing. Maybe it will. Like, I'll be like, oh, gosh, that's me, and that's bad. Like, you need to stop.
Morgan
You're not bad, and you're not crazy, but this is definitely a habit you should break for the sake of your life and for your relationship.
Abby Lee Anderson
In my closet.
Morgan
Also my space, all of it.
Abby Lee Anderson
My drawers.
Morgan
Last question here, and then we'll take a break. Do you guys still hang out with Hillary Haley from Ohio? I do. I don't know if Abby kind of came on towards the end of Hillary's. I don't know that you guys were on that at the same time, were you?
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah. Yeah, for like a year or two. Oh, I love her. Oh, my gosh. When I run into her at events, it makes me so happy because I love her, but I haven't seen her in so long.
Morgan
Yes. Yeah, her and I still hang out. We went on a double date the other night.
Abby Lee Anderson
You did?
Morgan
With her and her fiance and my boyfriend and I. And her wedding's coming up, so we'll be going to that. Yeah.
Abby Lee Anderson
That's so exciting.
Morgan
Very exciting time. So, yes, I still keep up with her. She did an episode with me for my podcast not too long ago. A couple of months, I think. And, yeah, she predicted her. I guess it has been a couple of months because she predicted her proposal.
Abby Lee Anderson
That's wild. That is really.
Morgan
They got engaged literally a month later. She knew it was coming, when it was coming, too.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, my gosh. No way. Yeah.
Morgan
No, like, still talk to her.
Abby Lee Anderson
I was in the classroom with her, and I loved her. She is probably one of my favorite people to work with. Like, I was really sad when she was leaving. Like, she was always so kind. Would always, like, listen, you know, and just. Oh, my gosh, I miss her.
Morgan
Yes. So, yes, we love her. Okay, we're gonna take a quick break. We'll be right back.

The man who invented literature's most brilliant detective was fooled by two girls into thinking fairies were real. How did they do it? Imagine that you're on an airplane and all of a sudden you hear this.
Dana Schwartz
Attention, passengers. The pilot is having an emergency and.
Abby Lee Anderson
We need someone, anyone, to land this plane.
Manny
Think you could do it? It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control. And they're saying, like, okay, pull this. Until this. Pull that. Turn this. It's just. I can do my eyes closed. I'm Manny.
Abby Lee Anderson
I'm Noah. This is Devin.
Manny
And on our new show, no such thing, we get to the bottom of questions like these. Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence.
Morgan
Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise.

Mandy Money
Hey sis, what if I could promise you you never had to listen to a condescending finance bro tell you how to manage your money again? Welcome to Brown Ambition. This is the hard part when you pay down those credit. If you haven't gotten to the bottom of why you were racking up credit or turning to credit cards, you may just recreate the same problem. A year from now, when you do feel like you are bleeding from these high interest rates, I would start shopping for a debt consolidation loan, starting with your local credit union. Shopping around online looking for some online lenders because they tend to have fewer fees and be more affordable. Listen, I am not here to judge. It is so expensive in these streets, I 100% can see how in just a few months you can have this much credit card debt. And it weighs on you. It's really easy to just like stick your head in the sand. It's nice and dark in the sand. Even if it's scary, it's not going to go away just because you're avoiding it. And in fact, it may get even worse. For more judgment free money advice, listen to Brown ambition on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
Morgan
Sita would like to know if we want babies of our own, which we did have a very extensive convers about relationships and stuff in part one, if you want to check that out.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah, we talked about me answering this. What about you?
Morgan
Well, you can give your short answer here so they can listen to the part one.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes, I do. I do probably like two, I would say.
Morgan
Okay. And you have two.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes, my boyfriend has two. Okay. Already. So then that would be four. That's a lot.
Morgan
Hey, big kid up, big family, big white picket fence house. All the things.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh yeah.
Morgan
Living that mash life, right? Oh my gosh, I love that game. I don't know. I go back and forth. Some days I do, some days I don't honestly. And I think with my boyfriend now I can more confidently lean that I would want them. But I don't know, I just. I really don't have a definitive answer. I think I'd be a great mom and I think I would be really good at it, but I just.
Abby Lee Anderson
Do you guys have that conversation? Yeah.
Morgan
Something you've both feel the same way. We're both Very much up in the air. We could go either way. We could have them or we cannot, and we'd both be okay with that. And I think that becomes more of an extensive conversation. I think both of us want to enjoy our lives together, especially if it's going to be something long term in the beginning, just us and for how long or what that looks like, who knows? There's also a possibility I can't have kids. I had posted something about this on my Instagram, but I have endometriosis, so there's a possibility that I can't. I don't know. I've never looked into it because I've never been in a place where I'm ready to have kids. So I might have to explore different things. And if it comes down to me having to do IVF or all of that, I don't know that I would go down that route. I think I'm open to adopting too. There's just like so many different routes that could happen. When that time finally comes, I'm like, okay, yeah, I want to try. So it makes it really hard for me to say, yes, absolutely, or right, no, I would never. Because, like, sometimes I'll be like, I'm not having them. I'm like, no, I kind of want one. And then I'll be like, yes, I want them. No, I don't want that. It's just like it. I have so many different experience. I have nieces and nephews. A lot of my friends have kids. So I've just seen a lot of different variations of what that can look like. And I think it makes it hard to have a definitive answer.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah, no, that would.
Morgan
Yeah, you just see a lot of things and you hear a lot of stuff and it kind of makes it harder when you're the last one to do it.
Abby Lee Anderson
All right.
Morgan
It's an advantage because you get a lot of the information, but then you're faced with so much information that you don't know how to make the right decision for you.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah, it's a lot. It is a lot. But my mom's always like, oh my gosh, it's like the greatest thing you'll ever do in your life and stuff like that. And I feel like that puts pressure on people too. Like, you know, and like my friends that keep having kids, I'm like, woo. They love it. You know, it's one.
Morgan
I think it's also a thing. I think there's people who are meant to have kids. I think they are born. Like, this is gonna Be something I will absolutely do. No question. And I think you have a lot of people, especially now. It costs a lot of money to have kids. The world is a little, you know, all over the place. So what's gonna happen? What's that gonna look like when they're 18 years old and saving money? Heck, like, you retiring and also taking care of a kid for that.
Abby Lee Anderson
Just.
Morgan
There's so many more pieces to that puzzle now than I think there used to be. Like, when we were born in the 90s, right?
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, yeah.
Morgan
And that's also a lot of my hesitation, so I don't know. I think at the end of the day, I would love to have them, and I would be a really good mom, but I just don't know if that's what's in my cards or not. Yeah.
Abby Lee Anderson
Which you don't have to right now.
Morgan
No. You know, but that. I go through my head a lot, and we talk about it a lot together, and I'm like, what happens if we one day are like, yes or one day no? Like, what happens then? He's like, oh, we'll fate. We'll face it when we get to it, because right now, we both feel the exact same way, where we'd be happy either way. And I think that's cool.
Abby Lee Anderson
No, that is. That's awesome. Because it's hard because, I mean, if you meet somebody that is, like, dead set, they're like, no, I want to be a dad. That's hard, you know, or other way around.
Morgan
Yeah. Like, absolutely not.
Abby Lee Anderson
I do not want them at all. So it's like, that at least is good. You're both on the same page.
Morgan
Yeah.
Abby Lee Anderson
About it.
Morgan
What is your ultimate career goal? Or have you met it already?
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, my ultimate career goal. That's really hard because I feel like I'm always in a place where I'm like, I want to do so much, and I don't have enough time to do it all, you know? Like, I'm like, oh, I want to be a realtor. Oh, I want to be a singer. Oh, I want to do this. And it's like my dream, my dream. Dream. Dream would be, like, a lady. A. Like a group. That would be, like, my ultimate dream.
Morgan
There's still time to accomplish that if you want to.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah, it's just the whole, like, networking and, like, meeting other band, you know, people. It's like. Like, their story is crazy. Like, they met on, like, MySpace or something. I don't even know, you know? And then they saw the other one, like, playing out, and then they came up to him. So I, like, everything is just, like, so circumstantial, and I don't really play out much. So it's like, how is something like that gonna happen? I need to start. I don't know. I'm in a weird place right now.
Morgan
Well, if it's meant to happen, it's going to, regardless of what your situation is right now. And if you do go out and play one time, you might meet somebody who's like, yeah, I've always thought about this. You may try it. You know, some of those things work out because they're supposed to, regardless of everything you put off. Yeah, it kind of goes along with that whole invisible string theory.
Abby Lee Anderson
I mean. But honestly, like, I just, like, love working in country radio and, like, winning a cma, like, as a part of that, that's, like, a pretty cool, like, bucket list thing that I can say. I don't know. It's hard. I just. I know I wanted to live in Nashville and work in country music, so I feel like part of my goal, like, has been accomplished with what I'm doing now as far as, like, what I'm gonna do next or what I'm gonna continue to do. I think about that all the time. Especially, like, with a family, you know, like, thinking of that, because I'm starting that way, too. It's like, this job would be really hard. I feel like with kids, I don't know how, like, everybody on the show does it. Honestly, I just feel like that would be really hard, like, for me with the hours I work and stuff. So I'm just constantly thinking of the future and what that holds. I don't really know.
Morgan
Wow. And if you listen to part one, it's gonna make a lot of sense. Why Abby has a lot of weight on her shoulders was a particular decision. This is now all tracking.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah. Yeah. Just the hours are, like, very abnormal, even for, like, us and, like, producers working behind the scenes compared to people on air. It's just a lot more, like, at home, work and behind the scenes and, you know, late nights and. Yeah, it's just a lot that people don't really see. There's a lot on my plate. I feel like I'm tired all the time just because there's just a lot. Because I'm trying to balance, like, being with my boyfriend, his kids, being there with them, but also, like, getting everything done.
Morgan
So very much so. Yeah, I have thought about that, too. That side with kids, I'm like, what happens if I do get pregnant because I don't have a backup here at the show, like, to do all our digital stuff. What happens if I take maternity leave?
Abby Lee Anderson
I can't take all that on my plate right now. I'm sorry. I can't do it.
Morgan
You shouldn't.
Abby Lee Anderson
I can try. You shouldn't.
Morgan
I can post a little bit that'll creep in. You know, where I'm like, what does that even look like? We don't have a blueprint for that.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah.
Morgan
So who knows?
Abby Lee Anderson
What is yours, your goal?
Morgan
I feel like I accomplished it. This is something I wanted to do. I wanted to be on a national show of some capacity, and I also wanted to have my own show, which I have with my podcast. And I feel like both of those goals are what I had now, especially as I've gotten older. A lot of those goals have changed from career to personal. I'd love to. Whether it's run a rescue or create a system to help with rescues and shelters, I would love to do that. That would be my dream. Or travel the world and help people see the world. I like. I love putting together itineraries. And I was like, how do you like not. But itineraries. You could totally sell these and do this stuff for people. I was like, I would. I would love that. So that would be fun. And, like, I also love putting together flowers, so I would love to own a flower shop that also sells ice cream or something like that. I don't know. I just feel like a lot of it has shifted into these more creative personal loves now that I have accomplished this one. This was the. This literally was the dream goal. And accomplishing it so young really kind of threw me for a loop because I just. I thought it was going to take a lot longer.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah.
Morgan
And then I did, and I was like, okay, well, I don't want to leave. But also, like, all of those things I feel like could be a side quest for me and still be able to do this for as long as we do this. And then if this ever ends, I could morph further into it.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah.
Morgan
But I don't know. We'll see. I'm gonna have to get a lot more land if I start doing rescue stuff and totally make my boyfriend build a little flower shop for me on that land, and I could do it there.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, look at that. Yeah.
Morgan
And I can still travel and do, like, mobile, put together itineraries for people.
Abby Lee Anderson
I know now you could do it all. I think we're both just like, we. We want to do everything. It's like, there's not enough hours literally in the day to do everything we want to do. I know.
Morgan
And so it's crazy. Come a time when that's right. And yeah, I think it's good to have just ideas and plans for a later point in your life. But, yeah, that's all. Okay. Best airport you've been to, Kyle in Minnesota.
Abby Lee Anderson
Best airport. Ooh, let's see. Oh, my gosh. I'm trying to think. I always go to the same ones. It's like St. Louis, Denver, St. Louis.
Morgan
That flight to Wichita sucks.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah. St. Louis is not the best one.
AZ Fudd
It's.
Morgan
It is the best one for coming from here because it's the flight.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah. I actually like it. I just. It's nice.
Morgan
St. Louis is nice. I. I say sucked because there's only like, one or two that come out now a week, and that's what makes me mad.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah.
Morgan
That's why it sucks. Not because of St. Louis.
Abby Lee Anderson
Like, at midnight, I'm in there. At, like, 11 at night, everything's closed. And I'm like, oh, my gosh, I want to leave. I'm the only one here.
Morgan
Yep. Because it's either the early morning flight or late at night flight.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes.
Morgan
The only options. The one that's coming to mind for me because I got to see it and I started pulling up some different lists, but this one doesn't even make it. I loved the Palm Springs airport.
Abby Lee Anderson
Really?
Morgan
It's all outdoors.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, I haven't been.
Morgan
And you have, like. You still have roofs and stuff, but a lot of it is outdoors. So you're walking in and out and very just vibey. Got palm trees everywhere, and it's the vibe of Palm Springs. I loved that airport.
Abby Lee Anderson
That is really cool. Yeah.
Morgan
So that was a good one.
Abby Lee Anderson
Chicago. That's cool.
Morgan
Chicago school. It's huge.
Abby Lee Anderson
That may have been the one that you're thinking of. Yeah.
Morgan
I've never really thought about airports. I really am not a big person of spending time in airports. I will get in, get out. I show up 30 minutes before I fly. I leave as soon as I arrive.
Abby Lee Anderson
Right.
Morgan
I just. I'm not a big spender timer at.
Abby Lee Anderson
I know airports. No. The Nashville airport. How much it has changed is crazy.
Morgan
Oh, my gosh.
Abby Lee Anderson
Do you remember what it was like before they did the whole, like, remodel?
Morgan
All of it? Yeah. It was so small.
Abby Lee Anderson
Now it's like I feel like I'm not even in Nashville.
Morgan
Somewhere else. Yeah, they have a whole extension that just got added on last month or two.
Abby Lee Anderson
The Kansas City one's nice now. Ooh, that might actually be my favorite. Kansas City. Okay, I like it.
Morgan
Casey. Mo.
Abby Lee Anderson
Coming strong.
Morgan
Yeah, I like that. And then also in that same capacity, where are your next vacation plans? Nick and Louisiana?
Abby Lee Anderson
I am going to California to see my uncle.
Morgan
You love going out to California.
Abby Lee Anderson
I do.
Morgan
Same place, huh?
Abby Lee Anderson
Laguna.
Morgan
Laguna Beach. Do you go to new places when you're out there, or do you just keep going the same places?
Abby Lee Anderson
I kind of just hang out with him. It's basically just to spend time with him because I love him. And you never know. He's. He's getting older and, like, he was the one that got the kidney transplant from my aunt seven years ago. And so I just. I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with him. Well, I can.
Morgan
So, yeah, you gotta spend time with family. And that's a cool place to go and visit.
Abby Lee Anderson
It is. It's like paradise. I love it. Like, I grew up going there every summer. And so it's just also, like, this feeling of, like, I'm. Oh, free. Like when I was a kid. Like, it just brings back memories. It's so fun.
Morgan
The nostalgia feeling.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah.
Morgan
Oh, that's fun. I haven't been out to Laguna. I've been to other parts of California, but I haven't been to Laguna.
Abby Lee Anderson
It's so pretty.
Morgan
Is that near Newport at all?
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah.
Morgan
Okay, so I was at Newport, but I didn't go all the way to.
Abby Lee Anderson
Look like the next one up. Next city.
Morgan
Okay. And you were telling me about something with tsa.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, my God. Boyfriend. Okay, I want to ask your opinion on this. Okay. So, like, our first trip we ever took, we on a flight. I have TSA PreCheck. Okay. And he doesn't.
Morgan
Okay, I know where this is going. Go on.
Abby Lee Anderson
And I went without him. I'm like, okay, I'll see you on the other side. Bye. I'm like, I don't want to take my shoes off. I don't want to take my laptop out. I'm going. He's still, to this day, is like, I can't believe you, like, left me behind to go, like, in the normal, normal line. And I'm like, but I. Why not? I paid for it. Like, why can I not go? It's not my fault you don't have TSA PreCheck. Yeah. And he's still like, but I wouldn't do that to you. And I'm like, but I would expect you to. I'd be like, no, go ahead. You have it. I'LL just. I'll be fine. Like, I'm good. And it's. Now. It's kind of like a running joke. Like, every time we go, he's like, see? Yeah, he has it now, but I can't believe I left him. And I'm like, what. What are your thoughts?
Morgan
No, he's in the wrong for that.
Abby Lee Anderson
Thank you.
Morgan
If you buy something, you're going to use it, and either they're like, catch up to that level, or you're just going to travel. Like, you. I've always traveled.
Abby Lee Anderson
But you would leave him. Like, what if the line. The general line that he's just going through, like, is super long and he, like, misses the flight?
Morgan
Well, at least you could be there to be like, hey, my boyfriend's coming. He got stuck somewhere. At least somebody's there to say it. Otherwise, nobody's there to say it. Also, if you've done something one way your entire life, you're not just going to all of a sudden change. No. TSA PreCheck is a completely different experience than, like, a seat situation. You see all those stories of, like, oh, I went to first class. That's different.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yes. We're sitting together. You're going to make it through. Yeah. I'm going to have more time over there to chill. Yeah.
Morgan
And if you know my boyfriend. This is so funny. We're about to fly together for the first time, which, ironically, will be the first time I've ever flown with a boyfriend.
Abby Lee Anderson
Really?
Morgan
I mostly do a lot of road trips.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah.
Morgan
So I've never flown with a dude before, and he doesn't have tsa. But I've been trying for the last four months to be like, hey, if we ever travel Together, I have TSA PreCheck. I've been setting up.
Abby Lee Anderson
Oh, you have him.
Morgan
I said, I have TSA PreCheck. I will use TSA PreCheck. So either you're gonna get it and we're gonna be good together, or you're gonna go by yourself.
Abby Lee Anderson
What'd he say?
Morgan
He's like, okay, yeah, I'll get it. You know what he hasn't done before? I.
Abby Lee Anderson
He's gotten it.
Morgan
I was like, cool, I'm leaving you. He's like, yeah, no, that's my fault.
Abby Lee Anderson
Okay, well, yeah, I don't think I gave him the heads up.
Morgan
No, maybe I did. I still. I just don't think that's a huge deal. I would be the same way as you, as if, like, we are in one. Because it would be on me to be like, okay, well, we need to get there enough so I can get through this because it's going to take me longer. I'd be like, okay, then. So I have to get through this. And I'm like, yeah, go to TSA PreCheck. Because you did it. I didn't.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah, yeah.
Morgan
He's so wrong for that.
Abby Lee Anderson
Thank you.
Morgan
I don't know. Let us know if you disagree with us. Maybe you disagree and there's other people. I think it's all about people, too. Everybody has different feelings on being left.
Abby Lee Anderson
I. I see both sides, but. No, I'm right.
Morgan
I do see both sides, too, but I definitely agree with you on this. And maybe it's because we're both TSA pre check and they don't. Also. I do not understand if you travel how you haven't done that or some version of it.
Abby Lee Anderson
Yeah. Even though, I mean, the TSA line is starting to get longer than the other line.
Morgan
It is, but it's. It's long, but you still move faster because you don't have to take everything off.
Abby Lee Anderson
But now they're. It's changing that you don't have to.
Morgan
Yeah.
Abby Lee Anderson
Or laptop. Is it. So it's kind of the same.
Morgan
I don't know.
Abby Lee Anderson
Think about it. I don't know the difference now.
Morgan
I don't know. I don't know.
Abby Lee Anderson
You can do a race.
Morgan
So you know what? Now it doesn't matter. So his. His point is null and void because technically it doesn't matter anymore.
Abby Lee Anderson
All right. Oh, my God.
Morgan
That's all for us.
Abby Lee Anderson
That's funny.

Have you ever looked at a piece of abstract art or music or poetry and thought that's just a bunch of pretentious nonsense? That's exactly what two bored Australian soldiers set out to prove during World War II when they tricked the literary world with their intentionally bad poetry, setting off a major scandal. We break down the truth, the lies, and the poetry in between on Hoax, a new podcast hosted by me, Lizzie Logan, and me, Dana Schwartz.
